In the church children spend hours learning memory verses, but when we become adults that isn’t a focus. There are many excuses as to why, including, “adults can’t memorize like children”. We need to not just learn scripture but understand and use it to guard our hearts. It is harder than when we are younger, but as adults we NEED scripture to help us through everything we do in life!
