- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all suit giving them like the million
- 0:16Speaker 1: buck things in it to me good to other. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn you, you gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Turn. You haven't got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water. The water got me?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fa I shall will come onrning
- 2:04Speaker 1: everybody you are listening to the voice, Come on digman now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Why
- 2:12Speaker 1: Because God, God is in the blessing business. If you
- 2:17Speaker 1: go get in line, he has something for you. God
- 2:22Speaker 1: is amazing. The plan he actually has for you is
- 2:27Speaker 1: so far greater than you can possibly imagine. It's really
- 2:31Speaker 1: mind blowing. And as I look back on where He's
- 2:36Speaker 1: brought me from and what he's currently doing for me,
- 2:40Speaker 1: all I can do is tell you is God. That's
- 2:43Speaker 1: all I can tell you, Because I tell you right now,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I didn't foresee it. You know. It oftentimes amazes me
- 2:50Speaker 1: when I listened to celebrities when they interview how they say,
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know, I always always thought that this would happen
- 2:55Speaker 1: for me, and I just you know, it could be true.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But for me. It's not that way at all. I
- 3:03Speaker 1: didn't imagine it this way. I had a dream of
- 3:10Speaker 1: becoming famous one day, but I had no idea would
- 3:15Speaker 1: it would ever get to this. It was a very
- 3:18Speaker 1: very simple desire for fame. There is no way I
- 3:23Speaker 1: could have seen all this. There is no way I
- 3:26Speaker 1: am telling you this is. This has been nothing for
- 3:30Speaker 1: me but the grace of God, and all the times
- 3:34Speaker 1: I failed, every time I had fallen, he picked me up,
- 3:40Speaker 1: he dusted me off, and he kept me moving. It
- 3:44Speaker 1: has been an amazing thing to watch God do what
- 3:48Speaker 1: he do. As I look back on my history and
- 3:51Speaker 1: you sometimes look back on your history, you've got to see, man, Wow,
- 3:56Speaker 1: what God has done for you and what He's brought
- 3:58Speaker 1: you through to enable you to be where you are.
- 4:01Speaker 1: It is amazing because really, I mean really real talk. Now,
- 4:06Speaker 1: had he allowed all of the decisions I had made
- 4:09Speaker 1: to play all the way out, I can assure you
- 4:12Speaker 1: I wouldn't be here today. But God, through this grace
- 4:16Speaker 1: and mercy, who had a plan for me, who was
- 4:18Speaker 1: just waiting on me to come get in line, and
- 4:22Speaker 1: then he was gonna start empty, and now he was
- 4:24Speaker 1: gonna start shipping out all the boxes in heaven with
- 4:28Speaker 1: my name on it, and man, and what a great
- 4:31Speaker 1: god he is, what a great god he is, And
- 4:34Speaker 1: you have boxes of blessings with your name on it
- 4:38Speaker 1: that he is waiting to ship. But he needs you
- 4:42Speaker 1: to go down there and get in line. That's what
- 4:45Speaker 1: it is. It is not that he has more boxes
- 4:48Speaker 1: for other people than he do you. He got boxes
- 4:51Speaker 1: with your name on it who have never been shipped.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Because you will not get in line to go get him.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You will not ask God for him, you will not
- 5:01Speaker 1: do the things necessary to attain them. We stop our
- 5:04Speaker 1: own blessings. Man, I have been the biggest stopper of
- 5:06Speaker 1: my blessings than anybody else. I can't really get mad
- 5:10Speaker 1: at nobody. I got nobody to blame for my existence
- 5:13Speaker 1: but me. But then at the same time, I can't
- 5:17Speaker 1: take credit for this. I really really can't. I kid
- 5:21Speaker 1: you not. I cannot take credit for it. And if
- 5:23Speaker 1: you ever see me taking credit for it, tap me
- 5:26Speaker 1: on the shoulder, say Steve, pull up. Remember you said
- 5:30Speaker 1: this ain't about you. If you catch me taking too
- 5:33Speaker 1: much credit, you have my permission to stop me now here.
- 5:39Speaker 1: It is the deal, though, and this is what I
- 5:41Speaker 1: want to get through to you today, moving forward while
- 5:48Speaker 1: under attack, new level, new devil. You know, every time
- 5:53Speaker 1: you go somewhere, every time you try to progress, every
- 5:56Speaker 1: time you make a decision to be better, to do better,
- 5:59Speaker 1: that's going to be a confrontation you're going to have
- 6:02Speaker 1: because it is the enemy's job to not see you
- 6:05Speaker 1: go forward, do better. Won't more behave yourself. There is
- 6:10Speaker 1: a force that is operative out there that has people
- 6:14Speaker 1: working on his behalf twenty four seven. You got a computer,
- 6:18Speaker 1: go read a blog. Just go read a blog. They're
- 6:21Speaker 1: busy man, not knowing, but just saying evil stuff constantly.
- 6:28Speaker 1: That's a job. Well, here's what happens. I you. We
- 6:35Speaker 1: have to always keep moving forward while we're under attack,
- 6:42Speaker 1: because the attack is going to always come. If you
- 6:47Speaker 1: allow the attackers to stop you, you will lose that
- 6:51Speaker 1: particular battle. And you cannot afford this. You know. My
- 6:55Speaker 1: father used to say, be careful when you're trying to
- 6:59Speaker 1: kick body off the ladder, because you got to take
- 7:02Speaker 1: your foot off too, and you might slip. And so
- 7:06Speaker 1: when people are taking their feet off the ladder, most
- 7:09Speaker 1: mot the majority the may't even up own a ladder.
- 7:12Speaker 1: They just at the bottom throwing stuff up at you.
- 7:15Speaker 1: They are just shaking your ladder. They ain't even they
- 7:18Speaker 1: ain't even on your level. Really tell you the truth,
- 7:20Speaker 1: they really not. You have moved on far beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything,
- 7:26Speaker 1: but they are still shaking your ladder and attacking you.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Keep moving forward while under attack, because the attacks are
- 7:33Speaker 1: going to come. If you take the time to stop
- 7:36Speaker 1: and address it, you are impeding your own progress. This
- 7:41Speaker 1: is very important to understand. Go on about your business
- 7:45Speaker 1: and remember Steve Harvey and remember those of you out there.
- 7:49Speaker 1: There is a Bible verse that helps me out every time.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And I don't know why. I got it on six
- 7:55Speaker 1: different plaques sitting all around my offices. Everywhere I go,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I can read it Isaiah fifty seventeen. No weapon formed
- 8:02Speaker 1: against me shall prosper that because this is that he
- 8:06Speaker 1: will put me under his wings or protection. And this
- 8:09Speaker 1: is my inheritance as a servant of the Lord period.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm his boy, he my man, so so did so
- 8:20Speaker 1: when you come in for me, I have to just
- 8:23Speaker 1: rest on that Lord right there, that he got it
- 8:27Speaker 1: that no weapon formed against me, she'll prosper. I'm just
- 8:30Speaker 1: like you sometimes, you know, we know better but sometimes
- 8:33Speaker 1: we don't do better. Man, Let them say what they're
- 8:36Speaker 1: gonna say. When they get through saying it, when they
- 8:38Speaker 1: get through writing it, when they get through talking about you,
- 8:41Speaker 1: when they get through lyne about you. Guess what they're
- 8:43Speaker 1: gonna have to do. They're gonna have to step back
- 8:45Speaker 1: and watch your rise. They're gonna have to kick back
- 8:49Speaker 1: and watch what God got for you, because nothing God
- 8:52Speaker 1: got for you. Can't nobody stop it. I don't care
- 8:54Speaker 1: what they do. Keep moving forward while under attack. You know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: somebody tell you something. Minister Lewis Fairkhan taught me something
- 9:05Speaker 1: very important one day, he says, Steve, remember this. He said.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It is a common thing for a dog to bark
- 9:14Speaker 1: up at the moon. But if the moon balks back
- 9:18Speaker 1: at the dog, the dog becomes famous. You feel me,
- 9:23Speaker 1: The moon was talking to you. What did you? How
- 9:26Speaker 1: did the moon stop and talk to you? Don't give
- 9:29Speaker 1: them that. Let the dog bark up at the moon.
- 9:32Speaker 1: Don't you be up there? You go where God got
- 9:34Speaker 1: you going? Don't bark back at this dog because the
- 9:37Speaker 1: dog come famous. Because they ain't gonna be able to
- 9:38Speaker 1: get to you, but the dog is famous. Now. They
- 9:40Speaker 1: want to interview the dog. Now the dog guess what
- 9:43Speaker 1: he gonna do? More bark? And guess what about you? Man?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Gone about your business, y'all. God is in the blessing
- 9:49Speaker 1: business all day long. Man, Go get in line, get
- 9:52Speaker 1: you some get them packages and boxes ship to you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: They got your name on it. Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies
- 10:04Speaker 1: and gentlemen, either one, however you want to look at it.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. Man, Today it's a great day. I
- 10:10Speaker 1: expect great things that happened today. You know what I
- 10:13Speaker 1: did on weekend. I was woke up and then instead
- 10:17Speaker 1: of doing my normal meditation and prayer, I decided to
- 10:21Speaker 1: cut on YouTube and I just went directly to Joel Oldstein.
- 10:26Speaker 1: I don't, I don't. I wasn't really intended on that,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but I just woke up and God just pressed the
- 10:31Speaker 1: button and the first sermon and I didn't have to
- 10:34Speaker 1: look scroll. The first title of the sermon was God
- 10:39Speaker 1: got this. And man, I pressed play and I listened
- 10:42Speaker 1: to that whole sermon, and can I tell y'all something,
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's exactly what I needed to know, because God got this.
- 10:48Speaker 1: I was troubled by something I was worrying about, something
- 10:51Speaker 1: I was trying to play my cards right with a
- 10:54Speaker 1: certain situation. I had to calm myself down. God got this,
- 11:00Speaker 1: period man, here it is Monday, Marty he to walk
- 11:04Speaker 1: me up again. God got this, man, Oh man, old man,
- 11:08Speaker 1: old man. I'm all right with that, you know why?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Because God got this. I don't care what they do
- 11:13Speaker 1: to me. It don't matter. God got this. I don't
- 11:16Speaker 1: care what they say to me, how they vote, how
- 11:19Speaker 1: they how they people don't see the vision in the dream.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It don't matter. God got this. Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Sherley Strawberry caller for real Mouth of the South or
- 11:29Speaker 1: junior government name kill space Junior. Once on your mind, Man,
- 11:33Speaker 1: let me ask you something, man. I need to know
- 11:36Speaker 1: this man, because you can't cease to five year. I
- 11:39Speaker 1: just keep coming back to the well, what would you
- 11:41Speaker 1: say is the key to a strong marriage? Because I
- 11:44Speaker 1: don't want to have a regular marriage. I really want
- 11:47Speaker 1: my wife to understand it. I'm here for the loan haul.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Took me three times figured out well it is about
- 11:56Speaker 1: me when you asked me, I just took me three times. Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: at first two trips, I clearly mister mister Mark, Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Well I finally figured it out two things, Junior. I
- 12:16Speaker 1: know it sounds clichees, but communication is the key. But
- 12:20Speaker 1: I'm talking about regular talks because if you don't have
- 12:23Speaker 1: regular conversations, one person in the marriage can start thinking
- 12:27Speaker 1: a certain way overnight. And if you all don't have
- 12:30Speaker 1: regular conversations about those thoughts, those visions, those dreams, you know,
- 12:34Speaker 1: because people change their mind, and just because they change
- 12:37Speaker 1: their mind, they don't have to notify you of it.
- 12:39Speaker 1: And if you're not talking, you really won't get the
- 12:42Speaker 1: notification and you can look up and next thing you know,
- 12:45Speaker 1: your partners in another direction and you thought it was
- 12:48Speaker 1: supposed to be going. So communication is the number one thing.
- 12:52Speaker 1: The second most important thing I learned was this. You
- 12:56Speaker 1: cannot solve your problems in your marriage outside your marriage
- 13:01Speaker 1: m a whole world. Do not introduce. Do not introduce
- 13:08Speaker 1: an outside party into your inside situation. Yes true, don't
- 13:14Speaker 1: do that because they don't know all the dynamics and
- 13:19Speaker 1: it's gonna lead to trouble. And if you think you
- 13:22Speaker 1: can fix your loneliness by getting company somewhere else, well
- 13:27Speaker 1: you better counsel This morning, mister Harvey up in here
- 13:31Speaker 1: took me three times. Experience is the best teacher baby
- 13:38Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour. We'll
- 13:41Speaker 1: have some church complaints right after this. You're listening to
- 13:46Speaker 1: morning show. All right, guys, it is time now for
- 13:49Speaker 1: church complaints. With Reverend Motown and pastor, with Reverend Motown
- 13:53Speaker 1: and Deacon death jam Red pastor who who whoa we
- 14:02Speaker 1: will full gather most procifiously we monticate this thing that
- 14:10Speaker 1: we buy anologically and dutifully do declare that, being the
- 14:20Speaker 1: pastor of this gathering of conglomerations, knowing full well that
- 14:26Speaker 1: he is the pilot of arbitration, that he is the bulgariousness.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Come on now or forgiveness, gather this morning for church complaints,
- 14:42Speaker 1: and realizing that as we austronize ourselves gather in the
- 14:48Speaker 1: most proquivious way, it is nine time for church complaint.
- 14:55Speaker 1: You better, boy, you know what I want to thank
- 14:57Speaker 1: the Lord for my granddaughter or my granddaughter Eugena, or
- 15:03Speaker 1: for bind me or brand new. The sorist immediately opened
- 15:10Speaker 1: up my preaching. I'm just opening pages and pointing at
- 15:15Speaker 1: words and using them innesentius. Immediately, Yes, Eu, Gina Motown,
- 15:20Speaker 1: your granddaughter, Eugena Motown, wherever Eugena Motown and works at
- 15:30Speaker 1: the Motown Museum. What we got a situation past the
- 15:37Speaker 1: eyes sis. The lowest was at the bake sale, the
- 15:41Speaker 1: Christmas bake sale on Saturday. And now the problem is
- 15:45Speaker 1: she brought her parent, Pete Pete the parents. He brought
- 15:49Speaker 1: him along. Now the children and everybody was enjoying the
- 15:52Speaker 1: parent and everything was going well at the bake sale.
- 15:56Speaker 1: But then brother jolla Vette walked in and then the
- 16:00Speaker 1: parrot started talking on the lord, Oh joll Evet John Leven,
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh joll evet brand John event. And then unfortunately sister
- 16:12Speaker 1: Jollivet was there too when she ran out. And now
- 16:16Speaker 1: brother Johanovite is trying to kill the parents. Since the
- 16:20Speaker 1: Lowis wants you to talk to this man will Oh,
- 16:25Speaker 1: in this instance, I must concur with brother Javolet I
- 16:30Speaker 1: kill the bird. You know, snitches get stitches. Seeing as
- 16:39Speaker 1: I ain't nobody vetineering after church, your stitches could lead
- 16:44Speaker 1: to your demand. Lord, but you must shut down o
- 16:50Speaker 1: bird that field with such iniquity. So I can't stop
- 16:56Speaker 1: brother jollyvit He and the bird is only due and
- 17:00Speaker 1: what the bird do repeating what he heard? Only business
- 17:07Speaker 1: all over the church. So bird got to go. Yeah,
- 17:13Speaker 1: it's Pete won't be at the next Bakeshill. It's what
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm saying. I ain't passed the eye. Herschel walker was
- 17:23Speaker 1: seen running in the woods and the jar. Did he
- 17:26Speaker 1: say he's running away? Couse? Uh? He say he running away? Couse.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Mister Trump is mad at him. And see he said
- 17:35Speaker 1: he was headed west. Now, ain't it supposed to be
- 17:38Speaker 1: naw Um, I don't know, but we should. We saved
- 17:42Speaker 1: the ball. He just seems to be really out of control.
- 17:45Speaker 1: We're gonna let him his dumbass run with at a goal,
- 17:49Speaker 1: with them dumbass stories. He'd then told, we're so tired
- 17:53Speaker 1: of Herschel, them white folks is fitting to wipe him
- 17:57Speaker 1: off like a bounded paper tie. You'll never dare, no
- 18:03Speaker 1: do You won't hear from him no more. He failed
- 18:07Speaker 1: in the usage, there would be no return runs, nothing
- 18:12Speaker 1: about him would be heard of again. He's finding out
- 18:18Speaker 1: that he is a lost negro, a slave to a
- 18:23Speaker 1: master that don't care about you. Run Herschel run has
- 18:31Speaker 1: taken all meanings throughout his entire life. First it was
- 18:36Speaker 1: with a football run, a Herschel run. Then it was
- 18:41Speaker 1: for the Senate race in Georgia. R Herschel run. Now
- 18:47Speaker 1: that he has lost and has no value of any kind,
- 18:53Speaker 1: Now it's time to get out of him. Run Herschel
- 18:58Speaker 1: run Ryan hand and you shout ka run over here
- 19:03Speaker 1: to black fool. So we have no ideal who we're done. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:13Speaker 1: all right, we gotta one of our members is in jail.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Pastor brother Donna Ray was at the supermarket. He had
- 19:21Speaker 1: twenty two items in his basket and got into the
- 19:25Speaker 1: line that's supposed to be for fifteen items, and uh,
- 19:29Speaker 1: one of the pictures behind him said, you got too
- 19:31Speaker 1: many items, and then the fight broke out because he
- 19:34Speaker 1: had too many items in the in the fifteen items line.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And he's in jail. So that he's asking if the
- 19:41Speaker 1: church can barely tomorrow Monday. I did that morrow, we
- 19:46Speaker 1: will we will be assisted him in that, or I'll
- 19:49Speaker 1: be guilty of that myself. So you've done that. Always
- 19:53Speaker 1: go to the fifteenth left check out line, grocer. Yeah,
- 19:59Speaker 1: but count different than most people. See. If I got
- 20:02Speaker 1: eight can dudes, that's one item? How because that's one item?
- 20:10Speaker 1: If I got eight, cancel sped on and then I
- 20:13Speaker 1: never have more than seven items ever, I consider each
- 20:18Speaker 1: food group on the piermid all right, it's on the
- 20:22Speaker 1: back of the loaf of bread. So all my vegetables
- 20:26Speaker 1: that one food groups all I ever have is sept mighty.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I had two grocery cars. One time I got in
- 20:32Speaker 1: fifteen or left line. I used the peyermid on the
- 20:38Speaker 1: back of the bread bag and that let's me use
- 20:41Speaker 1: the fifteen left line. Say high work, racious, God our fall.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Thank you. Pastor and Deacon coming up next to just
- 20:49Speaker 1: ask the CLO or Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in
- 20:53Speaker 1: the building ready for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:57Speaker 1: you're listening Morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:01Speaker 1: the hour and entertainment news Trevor Noah brought his late
- 21:05Speaker 1: night show to an end with a tribute to amazing
- 21:07Speaker 1: black women in his life. He really did, He said
- 21:11Speaker 1: some beautiful things. Junior and Your Cares Hope Foundation had
- 21:15Speaker 1: its annual Christmas toy giveaway. Junior and Steve Harvey is
- 21:21Speaker 1: set to debut his Elevate brand in twenty twenty three.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Let's jump at all but right now, yeah, it's time
- 21:29Speaker 1: for ask the clo with our Chief Love Officer Steve
- 21:33Speaker 1: Harvey and the building ready for your love questions, Chanel
- 21:37Speaker 1: and Roanoke says, I found out my sixteen year old
- 21:40Speaker 1: son is having sex and snuck a girl in the house.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Our dog to walk through the kitchen with a condom
- 21:46Speaker 1: rapper in his mouth, and my son turned red as
- 21:50Speaker 1: a single mom, Do I get his dad involved? How
- 21:54Speaker 1: do I handle this? Well? First of all, let me
- 21:57Speaker 1: come and Joe dog because rappers really hard to swallow,
- 22:02Speaker 1: and he knew by the smell of this that this
- 22:05Speaker 1: was very interesting, had never been this before, so this
- 22:08Speaker 1: let me get this outside in the garage while I
- 22:11Speaker 1: can see what this really is. That's what So kudos
- 22:14Speaker 1: to the dog first of all. Secondly, you need to
- 22:19Speaker 1: get his father involved. And it's not gonna be the
- 22:23Speaker 1: reprimand that you think, but you do need to get
- 22:27Speaker 1: the father involved. He's sixteen. Uh, you can forget having
- 22:31Speaker 1: the conversation of this is wrong and you shouldn't do this.
- 22:34Speaker 1: You can, you can, you can throw that conversation out
- 22:37Speaker 1: the window. Once the boy taste the fruit, it's it's
- 22:44Speaker 1: his quest till he died. There it's no backing out
- 22:48Speaker 1: of this. Okay, I didn't try it one time. Now
- 22:51Speaker 1: I'm await till I get married. That that conversation. You think,
- 22:55Speaker 1: what conversation you've been had with this boy? The best
- 22:57Speaker 1: thing he did was use protection. The deed is already done.
- 23:01Speaker 1: And I'm telling you right now, once the deed is done,
- 23:05Speaker 1: that is you can't close that cupboard door. That door
- 23:08Speaker 1: don't shut. No, that that door don't shut. It's it's
- 23:12Speaker 1: your whole life quest from that moment on, once you
- 23:15Speaker 1: get that fruit, a piece of that path. Huh. At
- 23:23Speaker 1: sixty five, listen to me, what did well earlier? Driving
- 23:30Speaker 1: for the steel? It's the whole motivation. Why buy calls
- 23:35Speaker 1: and jewelry, rang sim how homes, dreams, calls, watching? Yes, yes, okay, Steve,
- 23:48Speaker 1: thank you, Yeah, it's clear. Uh. Andy. Moving on to
- 23:53Speaker 1: Andy and Detroit, Andy says, I was initially attracted to
- 23:56Speaker 1: my wife because she's wealthy and loves nice things. I
- 24:00Speaker 1: have a great job, but she makes a lot more
- 24:03Speaker 1: money than I do. Her friends say, I'm an opportunist.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Why is it acceptable if a woman marries up, but
- 24:10Speaker 1: if a man does it not so much? Well, you
- 24:15Speaker 1: know it's called double standards, bro. You know it's the
- 24:18Speaker 1: same reason if a man sleep with everybody in office,
- 24:21Speaker 1: he's still mister Jackson. And if a woman do it,
- 24:23Speaker 1: she everything but her name because it's double standards and
- 24:28Speaker 1: it's such a rarity. But when it happens, you know,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I mean, but why are you letting it bother you?
- 24:34Speaker 1: But you say it. You were first attracted to her
- 24:38Speaker 1: because she was wealthy. That's what you're saying. He did,
- 24:42Speaker 1: he did so, and that was your first attraction. And
- 24:46Speaker 1: she liked nice things. Okay, cool. It wasn't her eyes,
- 24:50Speaker 1: it wasn't her dreams, the way she looked at you,
- 24:53Speaker 1: the way she treated you. No, you liked her cause
- 24:56Speaker 1: she was wealthy. So now that's what you put out.
- 25:00Speaker 1: That's what everybody then picked up on. Because trust me, bro,
- 25:04Speaker 1: there is no way to hide that I first got
- 25:07Speaker 1: with my wife and fail for her because of she
- 25:12Speaker 1: was wealthy and loves nice things and loves nice thing.
- 25:15Speaker 1: You ain't saying nothing about her being a beautiful person, Hockey.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You can imagine her making a great mother for your children.
- 25:22Speaker 1: You ain't say none of that. You said that. So
- 25:25Speaker 1: now if you don't think that that's what exudes from
- 25:27Speaker 1: your body, and you don't think other people can pick
- 25:31Speaker 1: up on that, especially women, I don't know what to
- 25:32Speaker 1: tell you, man, congratulations, you accomplished the mission. Now you
- 25:37Speaker 1: got to live the life, because I'm tell you right now,
- 25:39Speaker 1: the riches ain't gonna laugh. You're gonna need to be
- 25:43Speaker 1: in love, and you're gonna need to like somebody, all right.
- 25:50Speaker 1: A lot of rich women ain't got no men, all right.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Moving on to Dana in Fairview, Dana says, my husband
- 25:58Speaker 1: and I are separated because I sent a picture of
- 26:01Speaker 1: my VIJJ to him while he was at work. I
- 26:04Speaker 1: had never done anything like that, but my co worker
- 26:07Speaker 1: said it was it was a way to keep my
- 26:09Speaker 1: marriage spicy. He didn't like it. How do I fix things? What?
- 26:16Speaker 1: He didn't like it? What is it not to like?
- 26:21Speaker 1: It was because she sent it at work to him
- 26:24Speaker 1: while he was at work. Okay, what what? What did
- 26:28Speaker 1: it hit the Was it on a text thread with
- 26:30Speaker 1: the co workers? That was it? Yeah? But I don't
- 26:35Speaker 1: understand why you separate it though? What so this dude, no,
- 26:40Speaker 1: listen to me. I want you to pay careful closest.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I want you to to play pay careful attention what I'm
- 26:45Speaker 1: about to say. Okay, if a man leaves you and
- 26:49Speaker 1: separates from you for that reason, right there, I can
- 26:53Speaker 1: tell you as a man, and I've been a man
- 26:55Speaker 1: a long time, that ain't the reason. Yeah, he is
- 27:00Speaker 1: using that as her reason. Yeah, but that ain't no
- 27:03Speaker 1: real It ain't a man living nowhere if you send
- 27:09Speaker 1: him a picture of the Promised Land that he is
- 27:14Speaker 1: gonna stop talking to you and pack his stuff up?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Who is this guy? What are you talking about? You
- 27:23Speaker 1: need to look a little bit deep into this situation.
- 27:26Speaker 1: First of all, why did you need to spice up
- 27:28Speaker 1: the relationship because their co worker told well, but see something.
- 27:34Speaker 1: But see guess what your co worker told you that
- 27:36Speaker 1: because y'all didn't had some unspicy conversations about your relationship. Now,
- 27:42Speaker 1: your coworker didn't tell you nothing wrong. She was trying
- 27:45Speaker 1: to help you. But your man because you needed some
- 27:48Speaker 1: spicing up and he needed out. Your spicy picture of
- 27:52Speaker 1: the Promised landd gave him the out he needed. Ain't
- 27:56Speaker 1: no man nowhere leaving his wife because she sent a
- 27:59Speaker 1: picture her thing to the job. Who who is this food?
- 28:06Speaker 1: So so to her question, uh, Steve, of how do
- 28:10Speaker 1: I fix things? What? There's? The thing is not the picture.
- 28:16Speaker 1: The thing is the real reason he wants to leave,
- 28:19Speaker 1: and the real reason you needed to send it to
- 28:21Speaker 1: spice up the relationship in the first place. I promise
- 28:26Speaker 1: you'd ask it. I agree, No, dude, No, Well what
- 28:33Speaker 1: all right? Shorty and Pensacola says. I'm a waitress at
- 28:37Speaker 1: a topless bar. One of my married customers offered to
- 28:40Speaker 1: pay me a monthly fee for sex. If I get
- 28:42Speaker 1: two more customers like him, I can work from home.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I'm not big on adultrey. Wait, I'm not big on adultery,
- 28:50Speaker 1: So should I only offer my services to single men?
- 28:54Speaker 1: What d D? You are already considering this bis is proposition?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Make your decision and make your move. You just need
- 29:04Speaker 1: too more now, all right? Coming up at the top

- 47:09Speaker 1: I've never heard of you before, and my daughter has
- 47:12Speaker 1: never ever mentioned you. My daughter isn't dating anybody right now.

- 47:25Speaker 1: you know, we really, we really do love each other. Mister,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I want to. But if you love my daughter, she
- 47:31Speaker 1: would have told me that she was in love with someone. Well,
- 47:35Speaker 1: you know what you know. And maybe it's a situation
- 47:38Speaker 1: where Christa's like a little maybe a little uneasy about
- 47:40Speaker 1: talking to you about it. You know what I'm saying.
- 47:42Speaker 1: My daughter can talk to me about anything. We talk

- 49:11Speaker 1: you was probably gonna I want to talk to and
- 49:14Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. What I'm trying

- 49:33Speaker 1: my daughter's been in private school. I love damn life.
- 49:36Speaker 1: She was on all four years of college and she's
- 49:39Speaker 1: going to grad school. And you're gonna man my daughter.
- 49:42Speaker 1: You know you're working me. Miss I understand that. What
- 49:45Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to explain to you that you
- 49:47Speaker 1: know what, man, Sometimes I love is right the second
- 49:49Speaker 1: time around. You understand what I'm saying. What the hell
- 49:52Speaker 1: you mean? The second time? I got kids already. What
- 49:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to say, it didn't work out with me
- 49:57Speaker 1: on the first time. What I wanted to do, man,
- 50:00Speaker 1: just call you. It's solidified the culinary experienced. Mary got

- 50:16Speaker 1: even trying to have this conversation with you, and I
- 50:20Speaker 1: understand all. Let I understand what you're saying. What I

- 50:35Speaker 1: daughter unless it's mine. Look here, man, you ain't doing.
- 50:41Speaker 1: I don't even know your jail bird. You ain't doing.
- 50:45Speaker 1: I'm gonna call my daughter final. You really are thrust
- 50:49Speaker 1: your mind. You just think your old jail bird. It's
- 50:53Speaker 1: gonna be Mary and my daughter. My daughter's not a future.
- 50:56Speaker 1: You ain't got the hell's wrong with us. I'm not
- 51:00Speaker 1: gonna sit it and go back and forth. But you
- 51:01Speaker 1: miss me and Crystal getting married. That will not happen
- 51:05Speaker 1: under any circumstances, not what you think. The circumstances are
- 51:09Speaker 1: me and Crystal getting married. That's it, not to love.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell you think you are,
- 51:15Speaker 1: as long you don't know what it's gotta be. I
- 51:18Speaker 1: got one more thing I need to say, and then
- 51:20Speaker 1: me and Crystal just gonna come over there and dry
- 51:23Speaker 1: down there and tell you exactly what's going on in
- 51:25Speaker 1: our life right now. You got to say to me,
- 51:28Speaker 1: are you listening to me? Yes? You got to say
- 51:31Speaker 1: to me. I got to say this. This is nephew
- 51:35Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You just got
- 51:38Speaker 1: pranked by your daughter, Crystal and her boyfriend. Ain't I'm
- 51:50Speaker 1: outside my job. Let people looking me if I'm crazy,
- 51:56Speaker 1: John and your baby girl just wanted to put a
- 52:01Speaker 1: smile on your face. Man, I gotta ask you, what
- 52:04Speaker 1: is what is the baddest and I mean the baddest
- 52:07Speaker 1: radio show in the land and the Steam Harvey Morning
- 52:12Speaker 1: shuff you know they are. They have brought up the
- 52:20Speaker 1: subject matter about I'm sorry. I'm sorry. First of all,
- 52:24Speaker 1: incredible prank incredible, I'm sorry. But first, give your own
- 52:32Speaker 1: self praise first. I want to give an honor the pranks,
- 52:36Speaker 1: all right, all prank praise us and all prank praise dancers,

- 53:53Speaker 1: could I said, it could be your buckle up and
- 53:58Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:00Speaker 1: is the strong, very letter that's sexy Tommy, or to him,
- 54:06Speaker 1: it's got a little scary right little yeah, all right.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Subject he tells his sister everything, Dear, Stephen Shirley. My
- 54:22Speaker 1: husband and I have been together for six years and
- 54:25Speaker 1: married for two. His sister and I worked together in
- 54:28Speaker 1: high school, and after we graduated, we lived together until
- 54:31Speaker 1: I started dating her brother. It was awkward because she
- 54:35Speaker 1: was all up in our business and even walked in
- 54:37Speaker 1: on us having sex. Once I was ready to move
- 54:40Speaker 1: out and he suggests it we get an apartment together.
- 54:43Speaker 1: His sister was at our apartment every night for the
- 54:46Speaker 1: first week, claiming she was afraid to stay alone. I
- 54:49Speaker 1: put an end to that quickly, and she ended up
- 54:52Speaker 1: resenting me. So now that I'm married to her brother,
- 54:55Speaker 1: she comes at me rude and wrong. A lot he
- 55:00Speaker 1: me to take to look over her, and he says
- 55:04Speaker 1: she's jealous because I have a man and she doesn't.
- 55:06Speaker 1: On the other hand, he keeps bringing her into our
- 55:09Speaker 1: relationship by telling her all of our business. She made
- 55:12Speaker 1: a stride remark about me being a knemix, saying she
- 55:15Speaker 1: hopes I don't pass out during sex because I won't
- 55:19Speaker 1: take iron pills. I let that slide, but I yelled
- 55:22Speaker 1: at my husband. Later. She told my mother in law
- 55:25Speaker 1: not to expect any grand baby soon because I still
- 55:28Speaker 1: want my husband to wrap it up during sex. It's
- 55:31Speaker 1: been one thing after another, But the final straw was
- 55:34Speaker 1: when I overheard my husband telling her that he wishes
- 55:37Speaker 1: I was a bit more submissive and not a headstrong
- 55:41Speaker 1: black businesswoman in pursuit of a career. He's told me
- 55:46Speaker 1: that too, but he knows I'm not slowing down anytime
- 55:48Speaker 1: soon and I'm about to open another salon suite for nails.
- 55:52Speaker 1: It seems like the two of them team up to
- 55:54Speaker 1: hate on me together, and at this point he gossips
- 55:57Speaker 1: to her like a woman. Why does he feel then
- 56:00Speaker 1: to share so much with his sister when he knows
- 56:02Speaker 1: she's hateful? Is he a hater too? You know? The
- 56:07Speaker 1: way I see it is this, you have two huge problems.
- 56:09Speaker 1: You have your husband and yes you have your hating sister,
- 56:12Speaker 1: sister in law, his hating sister, and there is a
- 56:15Speaker 1: reasonable amount of jealousy on her part. But one thing
- 56:19Speaker 1: for sure, you don't have to guess about what your
- 56:22Speaker 1: husband told his sister. He told her that he wishes
- 56:25Speaker 1: you were more submissive and you were not a headstrong
- 56:28Speaker 1: black businesswoman in pursuit of a career. Now, whatever that means,
- 56:32Speaker 1: you heard him say it with your own ears and
- 56:36Speaker 1: you said, he told you the same thing, but you're
- 56:38Speaker 1: not slowing down. Why would he tell his sister in
- 56:41Speaker 1: law that? It's the question, you know, why does he
- 56:44Speaker 1: tell her anything? Clearly, you know there's a problem here.
- 56:49Speaker 1: It's both communication and resentment. And why aren't you guys,
- 56:53Speaker 1: meaning you and your husband talking about this. He resents
- 56:56Speaker 1: the fact that sounds like that you work too much,
- 56:59Speaker 1: you're a loss, and you know you resent him for
- 57:02Speaker 1: telling his sister everything. His sister does not respect your
- 57:06Speaker 1: marriage boundaries. But then again, your husband just invites her
- 57:10Speaker 1: in so she feels like she has free reign and
- 57:13Speaker 1: can say whatever she wants. He's wrong for that. But
- 57:16Speaker 1: I still think the problem between you two is communication.
- 57:19Speaker 1: You're both frustrated with each other, him because you work
- 57:22Speaker 1: and you're head strong, he says. And you know, you
- 57:26Speaker 1: guys are gonna have to try and work this out.
- 57:27Speaker 1: You're frustrated and resent him because he tells his sister everything.
- 57:32Speaker 1: I just think if you guys could really hear each other,
- 57:35Speaker 1: you could probably reach some sort of compromise. Your problems
- 57:39Speaker 1: aren't that bad, though. I'm gonna tell you that honestly,
- 57:42Speaker 1: your problems aren't that bad. I mean at least you
- 57:44Speaker 1: guys aren't cheating on each other and stuff like that.
- 57:47Speaker 1: But if you guys could just sit down and have
- 57:49Speaker 1: a conversation, I think a lot of this stuff could
- 57:51Speaker 1: be cleared up and keep his sister. Tell him please
- 57:55Speaker 1: to keep his sister out of the marriage. Steve, Well,
- 58:00Speaker 1: he tell us his sister everything. I know exactly why
- 58:03Speaker 1: he does this. I'll save it for the end case.
- 58:06Speaker 1: There's a woman out there that's struggling with this with
- 58:08Speaker 1: her man, which it is. A lot of this happened.
- 58:13Speaker 1: My husband and I've been together six years, married for
- 58:16Speaker 1: two His sister and I worked together in high school,
- 58:21Speaker 1: and after we graduated, we lived together. So now this
- 58:26Speaker 1: is a twenty year old company or twenty four year
- 58:30Speaker 1: old couple. If you graduated at eighteen and he'd been
- 58:35Speaker 1: together six years, we're looking at about twenty five. His
- 58:41Speaker 1: sister and I worked together in high school, and after
- 58:43Speaker 1: we graduated, we lived together until I started dating her brother.
- 58:50Speaker 1: So it was after they graduated they lived together. Let's
- 58:53Speaker 1: say another year they started dating a brother, and it
- 58:56Speaker 1: got a little awkward because she was all up in
- 58:58Speaker 1: their business and even walk in on us having sex.
- 59:01Speaker 1: One all right, I was ready to move out, and
- 59:05Speaker 1: he suggested that we get an apartment together. So now
- 59:09Speaker 1: this was his idea, his idea. This is a critical
- 59:12Speaker 1: piece of this letter. This was his idea to move out,
- 59:15Speaker 1: to get a partment together. But his sister came over
- 59:18Speaker 1: to the yall's apartment every night for the first week,
- 59:20Speaker 1: claiming that she was afraid to stay alone because you
- 59:24Speaker 1: and the sister. You and the sister were roommates for
- 59:27Speaker 1: a while. I put it into that quickly, and she
- 59:31Speaker 1: send it up or ended up resenting me. You moved
- 59:34Speaker 1: out because she was all up in your business. She
- 59:37Speaker 1: didn't want you to move out, but it was her
- 59:40Speaker 1: husband's idea. After you said you wanted to move out,
- 59:42Speaker 1: it was your husband's idea, her brother's idea, to say, hey,
- 59:46Speaker 1: let's get an apartment together. Now the resentment started, and
- 59:51Speaker 1: now you're married to her brother. She comes at you
- 59:54Speaker 1: rude and wrong a lot. And the reason she comes
- 59:58Speaker 1: at you rude and wrong a lot is because she's lonely,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: bitter and needs a relationship of her Oh, I don't
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: mind his devil's playground. You ain't got a relationship, yawn.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You got time to get at other people business. That's awful. Yeah,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: that's true. All right, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Today's subject he tells his sister everything. We'll get back
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: The subject is he tells his sister everything. Well, he
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: does all the time. You and a girl with friends
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: in high school. Y'all work together, y'all such good friends.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: Y'all got an apartment together until you started dating her brother.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Y'all been together six years now, and because you started
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: dating her brother got a little awkward. She stayed in
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: your business, walked in on y'all have a sex one time. Well,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: you said, enough of this, I'm moving out. I can't
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: take this no more. The brother, which is your husband now, decides, hey,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: let's get out some apartment together. You said, okay, But
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: every day to the first week, she was over there
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: every night because she said she couldn't sleep alone. I remember, now,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: this was your husband, her brother's. I did get the
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: part and the reason she's in y'all's business that she
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: comes at you rude now because she resents you because
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: you put a stop to her coming over. She comes
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: at you rude and wrong a lot because she's lonely, bitter,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: in need a relationship with her own. He asked me
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: to look over her and says she's jealous because you
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: got a man and she don't. And I just said that,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: But that don't help your situation out. On the other hand,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: he keeps bringing her entire relationship by telling her all
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: y'all busins. She made a snide remark about me being
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a knemix, saying she hope I don't pass out doing
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: sex because I won't take an iron peel. I don't
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: take iron peels myself. Uh damn nil, but not quite iron.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I don't know of going to sleep immediately and passing out.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: It's the same thing. But I've had that experienced before.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I uh, I let that slide. But then you yell
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: at your husband later. She told your mother in law
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: not to expect any grant baby soon because I still
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: want my husband to wrap it up doing sex. Now.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Your husband just running his mouth iron peel. You know
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: you make anywhere a condom. He's just running his damn mount.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you why that is in a minute
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: is a second. It's been one thing after another, but
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: final straw when you overheard your husband telling his sister
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: that he wishes I was a bit more submissive and
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: not a headstrong black business woman in pursuit of her career,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: or he told me that too, But he know I'm
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: not slowing down anytime soon. I'm about to open up
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: another salon. Sweet for now. Now, she says, seems like
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the two of them team up to hate me together.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: And at this point he gossips to her like a woman.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: Why does he feel the need to share so much
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: with his sister when he knows she's hateful? It's he
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: a hater too. Well, let me answer all those questions.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Number one. Obviously, this goes back to their past. They
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: were very close and growing up. Now here's what your husband.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Your man is a sister boy. That's the same thing
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: as a mama's boy, except he tucked up under his sister.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Sometimes you can be closer to your sister than your
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: mother if you all grow up close in the relationship,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: even as a child. And there are a lot of
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: sister boys out there, which is almost as bad as
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: a mama, except sister boy is an unknown term, so
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you don't know what to call. Why I just gave it.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: You're married to a sister boy. He was so close
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to his sister growing up that closest has remained, and
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: their friends and friends tell each other everything. That's why
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: I was never friends with my sister, because what I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: was doing is no way I could repeat your my sister. You,
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: on the other hand, have the direct opposite. So now
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: let me introduce you to a new term. Your man
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: is a sister boy. He's closer to his sister than
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: his mother, and sometimes he latches own to not the
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: apron stream, but the friendship. All right, and now let
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: me share something else with you. You ask, why does
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: he feel the need to share so much with his
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: sister when he knows she's hate. The answer to that
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: question is your man, listen to this one careful, has
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: at least one unmanly characteristic, because running your private business
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: about your woman to other people is not respected or
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: known as a manly characteristic. So your man has one
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: unmanly characteristic, and it's a dangerous characteristic to have him
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: because now he run in his mouth, he gossip. See
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: you can't gossip about your woman to your boys, because
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: we know not to do that. I ain't set up
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: with my boys. I'm a man. My girl being talking
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: about this and she wear it this and she say this,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: and I don't do that, and I show can't do
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: that to know other woman. So now you got a
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: dangerous situation. Lastly, but not late, Not last but notly.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: You ask him when he knows she's hatefuls is he
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a hater too? They are both haters. And you saw
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: the signs of this before you married him, but you
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: married him anyway. You knew they was too close before
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you got man. You saw the sign. You knew who
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: he was before you married. He'd been scared of his sistant,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: his mom and the whole time. So now you got
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: a sister's boy. Congratulations, good luck, But you can't put
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: a stop to this by saying, if you tell one
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: more damn thing, I'm gonna slap all the flavor out
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: your mom. Sister boy, all right, like sister boy, all right?
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Get us up on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM dot com,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and if you want to comment on today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you can also check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: demand now coming up next to the Sports Talk with Junior,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: and he's ready, so you'd be ready right after this.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: it is that time. It is that time for Sports
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Talk with Junior. What you got Junior? All right? Sureley. Well,
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: first let's say congratulations to USC's quarterback Caleb Williams as
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: he won the Heisman Trophy Saturday. Nice yeah, the USC man.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Congratulations man, that boy accepted, man, and thank his daddy. Man.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: That boy was up to crab man all time of
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: his dad put in with him and some congratulations to him.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: H yeah, man, his dad was up there balling. Man.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: He just really thanked his dad for making him who
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: he was as a player. And so you know, congratulations
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Caleb Williams also up. Man. He wasting no time then,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I'm saying, is on got his first top recruit out
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: of the three hundred ESPN three hundred as a running
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: back name Dalan Thatwards out of Kansas. He is going
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: to Colorado's play for them, Colorade Buffalo. And you know
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: what you were saying something earlier about DN Man, what
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: do they expect him to do? He is not going
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: to be the answer for all HBCUs He's just not
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: supposed to be. He's not supposed to be. I think
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: all the great stuff he did for these kids, for
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: these young boys is man. He ain't just about football.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: He making them better men, making them graduate. Dion's problem,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: it's the same problem that all of us have who
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: accomplished anything. Black people are the only race of people
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: who are responsible for the actions of one another. We
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: are held to a level of expectation that no one
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: else is, and it's unfair. Look, man, when one white
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: person makes a moved upgrade his life, white people don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: come behind him. You are obligated to us. Asian people
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: make and Jewish people can do it. I don't care
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: who does it. You can do what you want to do.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: We are the only race of people that's held responsible
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: for the actions of one another. I give you an example.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: When I just work the regular jobs, news story would
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: come on TV at night Black Rob's liquor store or
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: details at level. Hey Steve, you know the guy last
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: night Rob liquors stuff? Na, No, don't no, don't. I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: don't know as I've never met him and I'm not
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: responsible for him. Man, one of these guys thinking about.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I don't know what them guys is thinking about because
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I don't liquor stores. But then amongst ourselves we are
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the worst perpetrators of it, and we want to hold
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Dion back instead of him moving forward. And this doctor
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: that was on the Charlemagne Show and the Breakfast Club
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: that really live into Dion. I want to ask him
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: what HBCU do Utch and how much of your money
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: have you dedicated to HBCU. The Black celebrities are to
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: give all the money to HBCU. Mad at doctor dre
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: because he gave seventy million to USC. You have no
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: idea the deal doctor Drake cut to give that money
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: for that school. How many black students will now go
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: to USC because of what Doctor Drake. You don't even know.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: You just be running your damn mouse. It just makes
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: me sick. All right, you're right, Steve, coming up at
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: the top of the hour. If you didn't know, nephew
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Temmy has a Christmas song, we're gonna hear it right
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: after this. You're listening morning show, all right, So all
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Nation veterans know that nephew Tommy
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: has a lot of people in his head. We all
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: know that they used to come out all the time
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: and perform with him here on the show and then

- 1:11:18Speaker 1: and black eyed piece drum right goes come out, we
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: come taking white like flash myself drumming. What about the outstail,
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: rubbis kill dober dots don rob hold the hub battleship.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: I joke connect foul, but was nothing better than the
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: hungry hippe and the class man a quick tripment ain't
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: time waiting already, and this catch first wine co bats
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: and the towering then turned out. Bat Man said, if
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: he teck my bo really I'm dancing prance a bix
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: and the ugly man Elf better mind this bit, And
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I bet I can't ever get on my weird place
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: because I'll be damn if you aspire my Christmas. I
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: can't thank thank you dreaming same my mama make change.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: You can't say tell you about the joy. We had

- 1:12:56Speaker 1: did you just got to? What did you decide? I said,

- 1:15:09Speaker 1: social media into a frenzy on Saturday of this past

- 1:20:09Speaker 1: like a dream vaca. I thought about that. That's one thing. Okay,
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: that's two people. Now that's you know, that's a lot
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: of money. You can just set out. It's not a
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: lot to go down here. It's not a lot to
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: go down here to stay downtown in Atlanta, that's not
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: a lot. You've been a dream vacation. That's your bagging

- 1:20:46Speaker 1: in your ass. So that's not a good idea. Okay,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: remember boy, dream vacation is not a room at the
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Double Tree. You ain't even going down problem. Get them
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: two cookies. Think of the Maui white Yeah, Malwa what Malli? Yeah,

- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I know. If you're familiar they call them airplanes. Yeah, okay,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: well they built to travel a long distance. Yeah, but
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: where we got eight hours? That's sixteen hours? Oh okay,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: but that's how Yeah, I know, But Carl, she'll need
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to go over there. Why would we go all the
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: way to Mary when New Orleans is right there? Why
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: we compare in Paradise Hawaiian? You think them two places,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it's the same. You need to cut your little dreams off,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: you know, you get to the courthouse because that's what
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: your ads doing. Build though. But no, it's okay. I'm
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: not mad at the weekend New Orleans bad Junior toss
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: from down. Everybody want to go down? Now, I said,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that. For her girls maybe like, oh,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: we can't get away. He can't do what you do money.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: My closing remark married Now he started listening. He hey, y'all.
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: My closes remarks, it's gonna be really really uplifting because
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I want to teach. I want to show people something
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that I ran across and actually ran across this. It
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: was on the news and I was watching this guy,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: and I want to just show I wanted to show
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: us how powerful we are when we act. These are facts.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I can't show it to you, but I want to
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: read it to you, and I want you to understand
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: now this man was talking about Georgia votes by race,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: how Georgia votes by in the election the original election
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: in November, when Warnock and herschel Walker and the Libertarian
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: law on the ballot, white people were fifty nine point
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: five percent of the votes, Black people were twenty six
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: point two percent of the votes. Unknown was nine percent
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: point six, Hispanics two point three, Asians two point zero,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: and American Indians were point three percent. In the runoff.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: Here is what happened in the runoff. Here is the
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: percentage of people who voted. Whites went from fifty nine
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: point five percent of the vote, they dropped down to
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: fifty five point one percent. The unknown people who were
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: nine point six percent in the original election, they dropped
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: down to nine point two percent. The Hispanics went from
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: two point three in the regular election down to one
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: point seven percent of the vote in the runoff. Asians
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: went from two point zero to one point eight in
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: the runoff, and then American Indian state consistent point three
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: percent of them voted the same in the runoff point
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: three percent. Here is what happened to the black vote.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: In the election, twenty six point two percent of the
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: votes were cast by black people. In the runoff, listen
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: to me carefully, thirty one point nine percent of the
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: vote were cast by black people. Blacks were the only
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: one whose numbers increased in the runoff than the regular election.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: How good is that? How much does that show? And
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: listen to me. Had we not gone to the polls
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: in record numbers, herschel Walker would be centered. But you
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: know what, we send a message to the Republican Conservative
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Party that how dare you try to determine for us
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: what it's best for us when you put a person
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: like herschel Walker up and represent him as an African
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: American to African American voters, when your ass tried to
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: be slick and split the black vote by putting your
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: proposed black up. You don't tell us who black is.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: You don't tell us what black is, You don't tell
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: us what it is to be black, You don't tell
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: us how to feel about being black, and you certainly
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: do not have the right to pick for us who
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: to represent us. In backfired. We showed you something. Congratulations
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: to all the population in Georgia for stepping up and voting. Congratulations, man,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I mean that was big to go from twenty six
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: percent of the vote to thirty one percent, up all
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: five percent and everybody else dropped. That shows you who
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: we were. We are voting forever. I told y'all that before,
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: but you didn't believe it. But we're voting from now
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: on forever. Congratulations. That's that, y'all. Have a great day.
