- 0:04Speaker 1: for New York. But he's a communist, and he's a
- 0:06Speaker 1: pure communist. I think he admits. Well, he said he's
- 0:09Speaker 1: going to fight Ice. He's not going to allow Ice
- 0:13Speaker 1: to you'll give orient success. And he said if Benjamin
- 0:15Speaker 1: Atanao comes to New York, he's going to have him. Marette, Well,

- 0:20Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Good Monday morning. So nice to have you with us
- 0:26Speaker 1: on the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got a
- 0:28Speaker 1: pack show for you. First up, the Big Beautiful Bill.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It is well sausage being made in the Senate. Democrats
- 0:35Speaker 1: doing everything they can to try to stop this from
- 0:38Speaker 1: becoming a reality. I'll give you the latest on where
- 0:42Speaker 1: we are right now on that. Also, who are the
- 0:45Speaker 1: Republicans that decide to vote against the Big Beautiful Bill
- 0:48Speaker 1: moving forward in the Senate. Well, one of them is
- 0:50Speaker 1: just announced they're not running for reelection, and we'll give
- 0:53Speaker 1: you those details as well. And finally, not one, not two,
- 0:57Speaker 1: but three major Supreme Court cases have been massive victories
- 1:03Speaker 1: for the Trump administration. The rule of law, Why is
- 1:06Speaker 1: the media not covering it? And what just happened to
- 1:09Speaker 1: the Supreme Court. I'll give you all the details, but first,
- 1:12Speaker 1: right now, all of us, our help is needed with
- 1:15Speaker 1: the people that are under attack in Israel. We know
- 1:18Speaker 1: that Israel is at war with Iran, a nation that
- 1:21Speaker 1: is vowed to wipe Israel and even the United States
- 1:24Speaker 1: of America off the map. In a necessary act of
- 1:27Speaker 1: self defense, Israel struck Iranian nuclear facilities, military targets, and
- 1:32Speaker 1: their top leadership. And right now, the International Fellowship of
- 1:36Speaker 1: Christians and Jews is on the ground preparing large scale
- 1:40Speaker 1: distributions of life saving food, first date and emergency kits,
- 1:45Speaker 1: especially to Israel's most vulnerable people, the sick, the elderly, children,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and families that are in great need. The Fellowship is
- 1:54Speaker 1: also making sure that hospitals, emergency rooms and shelters are
- 1:57Speaker 1: fully stocked with critical life saving medical supplies. But the
- 2:02Speaker 1: Fellowship needs your most generous gift today to make this
- 2:06Speaker 1: work possible. If you want to stand with the people
- 2:10Speaker 1: in Israel, and you want to bless them and support
- 2:13Speaker 1: them as they are under attack, now is your time
- 2:16Speaker 1: to stand with those that are the most vulnerable in Israel.
- 2:20Speaker 1: You can call them and give your donation right now
- 2:24Speaker 1: to have an impact virtually instantly on what's going on.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Eight to eight for eight eight IFCJ, that's eight eight
- 2:33Speaker 1: eight for eight eight if CJ. You can also go
- 2:38Speaker 1: online and give it IFCJ dot org. That's IFCJ dot org.
- 2:45Speaker 1: It's the forty seven Morning Update, and it starts right now,
- 2:48Speaker 1: story number one. So let's give you a big update
- 2:52Speaker 1: on the big beautiful bill. It is a very important
- 2:55Speaker 1: part of Donald Trump's momentum moving forward and can have
- 2:59Speaker 1: a massive impact on lower and middle class Americans especially.
- 3:04Speaker 1: So let's start with where we are now. The Senate
- 3:07Speaker 1: voted fifty one to forty nine along party lines to
- 3:11Speaker 1: move the bill forward into what they describe as formal debate. Now,
- 3:16Speaker 1: you may ask why was it so tight of a
- 3:18Speaker 1: vote Senator's Tom Tillis, And we're going to have an
- 3:21Speaker 1: update on Tom Tillis in a moment. What we're hearing
- 3:25Speaker 1: after this vote, as well as Senator Ram Paul. They
- 3:29Speaker 1: decided to go with the Democrats opposing the motion. GOP
- 3:34Speaker 1: leaders had to strike last minute deals to secure the votes,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and it did pass fifty one forty nine to move forward. Now.
- 3:43Speaker 1: It is nine and forty pages long. It is covering
- 3:48Speaker 1: a lot. It's covering tax cuts, it's covering medicaid. It's
- 3:52Speaker 1: also covering snap food stamp benefits. It is expanding border
- 3:57Speaker 1: and deportation funding. It also has defense and clean energy
- 4:03Speaker 1: tax changes, as well as an increased salt deduction cap,
- 4:08Speaker 1: as well as child tax credit changes. Now, here's what
- 4:12Speaker 1: this bill looks like in its grand form, nine hundred
- 4:16Speaker 1: and forty pages long. What we're hearing from the Congressional
- 4:19Speaker 1: Budget Office is it estimates it will add three point
- 4:23Speaker 1: three trillion dollars to the national debt over ten years
- 4:27Speaker 1: and result in eleven million fewered they claim insured individuals
- 4:32Speaker 1: by twenty thirty four. That's what Democrats are seizing on
- 4:35Speaker 1: right now to say this is a terrible bill. But
- 4:38Speaker 1: let's talk about what is actually reality here. Donald Trump
- 4:42Speaker 1: coming out praising the vote is a great victory and
- 4:46Speaker 1: pushing this for the final vote by July fourth, Democrats
- 4:51Speaker 1: led by Chuck Schumer are now forcing and you want
- 4:54Speaker 1: to talk about a moment of hypocrisy, they are actually
- 4:57Speaker 1: forcing to stall the vote. A quote full reading of
- 5:01Speaker 1: the nine hundred and forty page texts it will be
- 5:05Speaker 1: sixteen to twenty hours. Why are they doing that to
- 5:09Speaker 1: slow the proceedings? Now? You may remember back in the
- 5:13Speaker 1: day when Nancy Pelosi, referring to Obamacare, said we won't
- 5:16Speaker 1: know what's in the bill until we pass the bill.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Apparently now they're more than happy to read a bill
- 5:24Speaker 1: only if it means stalling Donald Trump's agenda. Now, there
- 5:28Speaker 1: have been a lot of critics, Elon Musk calling it
- 5:31Speaker 1: utter insanity, Ram Paul mon Child account provision at and
- 5:37Speaker 1: making jobs also at Elon Musk, Senator Mark Warner calling
- 5:41Speaker 1: it a political albatross. So there's always going to be
- 5:45Speaker 1: people that don't like what is in the bill, and
- 5:48Speaker 1: you're hearing from them right now. The big question is
- 5:51Speaker 1: what is next? Well, Number one, the debate is ongoing
- 5:55Speaker 1: as I'm recording this. Sinners now have a marathon vote,
- 6:00Speaker 1: as they described it, a vote a rama session to
- 6:03Speaker 1: propose amendments. And what Democrats are trying to do is
- 6:07Speaker 1: they're trying to tie amendments to this bill that would
- 6:10Speaker 1: kill the bill, hurt the bill that no Republican would
- 6:13Speaker 1: ever want to vote for. That is to try to
- 6:16Speaker 1: stop the bill from becoming law or to postpone this
- 6:20Speaker 1: bill so they can get more things in there that
- 6:21Speaker 1: they want. There is also what we refer to as
- 6:24Speaker 1: the sausage being made many Republicans who aren't hardcore conservative
- 6:29Speaker 1: American first individuals. They're wanting something for their vote. And
- 6:33Speaker 1: that doesn't count the Democrats who are doing a whole
- 6:36Speaker 1: hell of a lot of horse trading as we speak
- 6:38Speaker 1: right now. Now you have parliamentarian ruling, all right. They
- 6:41Speaker 1: have already struck down several provisions under the Bird rule limits,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and that further adjustments are expected to this bill before
- 6:50Speaker 1: the final vote. Once amendments wrap up, a final Senate
- 6:56Speaker 1: vote is likely to happen sometime this week, possibly or
- 7:02Speaker 1: in theory the president is hoping it will be a
- 7:05Speaker 1: July fourth celebration. More than likely, this could happen on Tuesday,
- 7:11Speaker 1: maybe Wednesday, as far away as Thursday or Friday. Now,
- 7:15Speaker 1: if it passes, and many Conservatives expect that it is
- 7:19Speaker 1: going to pass, then it would return to the House
- 7:23Speaker 1: for approval yet again, and then it would go to
- 7:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump's desk for signing, potentially as he is asking
- 7:32Speaker 1: for it before the July fourth, And that is the
- 7:35Speaker 1: goal of the GOP and the administration. So let's just
- 7:39Speaker 1: give a quick recap on what I've given you. In substance,
- 7:42Speaker 1: it advanced in the Senate in a massive fifty one
- 7:45Speaker 1: to forty nine procedural vote. That was the biggest hurdle.
- 7:49Speaker 1: This is the reason why I and the White House believe,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and insiders on Capitol Hill are telling me they believe
- 7:54Speaker 1: this will become law. They are key contents to this
- 7:58Speaker 1: that every American should care about. Number one, and the
- 8:01Speaker 1: biggest thing is broad tax cuts. There's also safety net
- 8:05Speaker 1: reductions for those that deal with waste, fraud, and abuse.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Many Americans voted for that, and that is where people
- 8:12Speaker 1: are saying, Okay, what's next. There's also the argument that
- 8:15Speaker 1: if we did nothing, we would actually see the deficit
- 8:19Speaker 1: grow at even a faster rate than the three point
- 8:21Speaker 1: three trillion that this is going to cost. So now
- 8:25Speaker 1: you are up to date on where we are at
- 8:27Speaker 1: the very moment and what is happening as we speak.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It is called vote rama. It is voting on amendment
- 8:33Speaker 1: after amendment after they read this bill, which will take
- 8:36Speaker 1: sixteen to eighteen nineteen hours depending on who you talk to,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and then the final votes in the Senate. In theory,
- 8:42Speaker 1: are going to happen early this week, then House concurrence,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and then Donald Trump will sign off on this bill,
- 8:51Speaker 1: hoping to celebrate it on the fourth of July, which
- 8:54Speaker 1: would be a very monumental moment for him. So this
- 8:58Speaker 1: is where we are good things change. Yes, are their
- 9:01Speaker 1: Democrats right now trying to derail all of this. Absolutely.
- 9:05Speaker 1: By the way, there's also Republicans that are trying to
- 9:08Speaker 1: derail this as well, which brings me to my second story.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Tom tillis one of the two Republicans that vote against
- 9:17Speaker 1: the Big Beautiful Bill, is not running for reelection after
- 9:21Speaker 1: opposing the Big Beautiful Bill. Senator Tom tillis a Republican
- 9:26Speaker 1: from North Carolina, announcing that he's not running for reelection,
- 9:30Speaker 1: and in a statement issued on Sunday, Tillis highlighted how
- 9:34Speaker 1: he is quote proud of his career in public service.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Tillis also expected he is most proud of his bipartisan victories,
- 9:42Speaker 1: such as passing the first nation eugenics compensation as speaker
- 9:46Speaker 1: and working across the aisle in the Senate to pass
- 9:49Speaker 1: the largest investment in mental health in the history of
- 9:52Speaker 1: the United States of America. Till has continued to admit
- 9:55Speaker 1: that sometimes quote those bipartisan initiatives got him in trouble
- 9:59Speaker 1: with his own own party, saying this in Washington. Over
- 10:03Speaker 1: the last few years, it's been increasingly evident that leaders
- 10:08Speaker 1: who are willing to embrace bipartisanship, embrace compromise, and demonstrate
- 10:14Speaker 1: independent thinking are becoming an endangered species. Democrats recently lost
- 10:20Speaker 1: two such leaders who were dedicated to making the Senate
- 10:23Speaker 1: more of a functional and productive legislative body. Tillis continued,
- 10:28Speaker 1: they got things done, but they were shunned after they
- 10:31Speaker 1: courageously refused to cave to their party bosses to nuke
- 10:34Speaker 1: the filibuster for the sake of political expediency. They ultimately retired,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and their presence and Senate Chamber has been sorely missed
- 10:41Speaker 1: every day since. Till has continued on this grand standing
- 10:45Speaker 1: moment and expressed that he was beyond grateful for his
- 10:49Speaker 1: friends that he had made and added, and that he
- 10:52Speaker 1: looked forward to continuing to serve North Carolina over the
- 10:55Speaker 1: next eighteen months. Tillis issuing this statement also Saturday, expressing
- 11:00Speaker 1: that he had done his homework on behalf of North
- 11:03Speaker 1: Carolinas and was unable to support the big, beautiful bill
- 11:06Speaker 1: in its current form, saying I did my homework, I
- 11:09Speaker 1: cannot support the bill. It would result in tens of
- 11:12Speaker 1: billions of dollars in loss funding for North Carolina, including
- 11:15Speaker 1: our hospitals and rural communities. This will force the state
- 11:18Speaker 1: to make painful decisions like eliminating Medicaid coverage for one
- 11:21Speaker 1: hundreds of thousands and the expansion population, and even reducing
- 11:25Speaker 1: critical services for those in traditional Medicaid population. So there
- 11:30Speaker 1: you have it. Now. Donald Trump did have a response
- 11:32Speaker 1: to this. Trump expressed in a post on True Social
- 11:35Speaker 1: that the people of North Carolina would not allow Tillis
- 11:38Speaker 1: to grant stand in order to get some publicity for himself, saying, quote,
- 11:41Speaker 1: looks like Senator Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the
- 11:44Speaker 1: nation he's giving them a sixty eight percent tax increase
- 11:47Speaker 1: as opposed to big tax cuts in American history, that
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm giving them the same time, he's unable to understand
- 11:52Speaker 1: the importance of a dead extension, which Republicans gave to
- 11:55Speaker 1: the Democrats just prior to the Nomber fifth election, because
- 11:59Speaker 1: of its significant and how important it was for the
- 12:01Speaker 1: future of the USA. Trump riding in a post now
- 12:04Speaker 1: at the end of the day, Tom Tillis vote the
- 12:07Speaker 1: way he did for one reason, because he knew he
- 12:10Speaker 1: couldn't win re election, and now he's acting like he
- 12:13Speaker 1: is a martyr. Thank goodness, Donald Trump is involved, and
- 12:17Speaker 1: I'm sure that he will be helping find a great
- 12:20Speaker 1: America first candidate to run in that election. I want
- 12:24Speaker 1: to also bring to your attention a story that's being underreported,
- 12:29Speaker 1: especially because it's such massive news for the Trump administration
- 12:34Speaker 1: and law in America. The Supreme Court has come out
- 12:38Speaker 1: with their latest rulings and they have a significant impact
- 12:44Speaker 1: on the country the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court's term
- 12:48Speaker 1: came to a close and it dealt major wins for
- 12:52Speaker 1: President Trump and well as well as the rule of law.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Three different cases that I want to get into here
- 12:57Speaker 1: so you understand just how big they were. Vumber one
- 13:00Speaker 1: was Trump versus Cassa. It was under the issue of
- 13:03Speaker 1: a universal injunctions. And this is something that was such
- 13:08Speaker 1: a big issue because you had these judges that were
- 13:10Speaker 1: basically blocking the presence agenda. And as they were blocking
- 13:15Speaker 1: the agenda the present, they were doing it in smaller
- 13:17Speaker 1: lower courts. Well, guess what the Supreme Court says universal
- 13:21Speaker 1: injunctions aren't actually going to work this way moving forward.
- 13:24Speaker 1: There was also another ruling that was massive as well,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and it dealt with the Free Speech Coalition versus the
- 13:30Speaker 1: State of Texas aka the Attorney General there Ken Paxton.
- 13:33Speaker 1: It was a six to three ruling as well, and
- 13:36Speaker 1: it held that Texas's age verification law for porn sites
- 13:41Speaker 1: is in fact constitutional. This was a massive victory, especially
- 13:46Speaker 1: after we just had to take it down. Act where
- 13:48Speaker 1: you could not bully people by putting up fake pictures
- 13:52Speaker 1: of them neked on the internet or revenge pictures maybe
- 13:55Speaker 1: that you received of someone and then throw them up
- 13:58Speaker 1: on the Internet to get revenge. It was making it
- 14:00Speaker 1: clearly against the law and parties had to take it
- 14:03Speaker 1: down immediately. They could also be fine. So you look
- 14:07Speaker 1: at this big fight in Texas, it was very simple.
- 14:10Speaker 1: What this was was a moment where we were trying
- 14:13Speaker 1: to protect those eighteen and under from hardcore pornography on
- 14:16Speaker 1: the internet by using age verification. Now, almost every one
- 14:21Speaker 1: of the porn sites in America had gotten together with
- 14:24Speaker 1: a lobbyists to try to stop this, ensuing Texas to
- 14:27Speaker 1: try to say that this was unconstitutional. The Supreme Court
- 14:31Speaker 1: came down the side of Texas saying they have a
- 14:33Speaker 1: right to protect those eighteen and under from pornography on
- 14:35Speaker 1: the internet and by using age verification. Now, what is
- 14:39Speaker 1: this going to do, for example, in a place like Texas.
- 14:41Speaker 1: It drastically reduces the amount of time that is spent
- 14:44Speaker 1: on the Internet by underage individuals looking at pornography. And again,
- 14:50Speaker 1: this should be a state's issue, and that's what the
- 14:52Speaker 1: Supreme Court is saying. There was also a third Supreme
- 14:55Speaker 1: Court decision that came down and it was massive Mohammed Verse.
- 15:00Speaker 1: This is Taylor. And what this dealt with is that
- 15:02Speaker 1: hell that parents of public school children can opt out
- 15:06Speaker 1: of LGBTQ plus curriculum. Now, this is not only a
- 15:11Speaker 1: big win for religious liberty and parental rights, it is
- 15:15Speaker 1: also another example of why it's so important to have
- 15:19Speaker 1: school choice in this country. Now, you look at what
- 15:22Speaker 1: this dealt with, and it was very simple. Should a
- 15:24Speaker 1: parent have the right in a public school to be
- 15:27Speaker 1: able to opt their child out of the propaganda that
- 15:30Speaker 1: the left is trying to force on them When it
- 15:32Speaker 1: comes to transsexuals, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and everything else under
- 15:36Speaker 1: the LGBTQ plus flag, there are parents that tried to
- 15:40Speaker 1: opt their kids out, and there were schools that said, no,
- 15:42Speaker 1: you cannot do it. It's part of the public school curriculum.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And this was obviously taking away parents' rights. Well, now
- 15:50Speaker 1: we know that parents do, in fact have a right
- 15:53Speaker 1: to decide what their kids are indoctrinated with, especially when
- 15:56Speaker 1: it's something is controversial and as radical as the extreme
- 15:59Speaker 1: view points of the LGBTQ activist community. Now you look
- 16:04Speaker 1: at all three of these rulings. If these were rulings
- 16:07Speaker 1: in favor of Joe Biden's agenda, for example, it would
- 16:10Speaker 1: be wall to wall coverage. If this was the rulings
- 16:13Speaker 1: of Barack Obama that helped him when he was the president,
- 16:16Speaker 1: it would have been wall to wall coverage. But there's
- 16:18Speaker 1: a very good chance at about ninety nine percent of
- 16:21Speaker 1: you listening to me right now knew nothing about any
- 16:23Speaker 1: of these three cases that all came down in favor
- 16:26Speaker 1: of parents in came down in favor of the Trump
- 16:29Speaker 1: agenda and the Trump White House and his presidency. The
- 16:32Speaker 1: Supreme Court, as Fox News put it, rules on Trump's
- 16:35Speaker 1: birthright citizenship order testing lower court power was another one
- 16:39Speaker 1: of the big things that came through the Supreme Court
- 16:42Speaker 1: is also deciding whether to allow parents to show children
- 16:44Speaker 1: from these books in school in the LGBTQ community. Again
- 16:48Speaker 1: a victory for us. This was a massive the White
- 16:52Speaker 1: House putting out a statement putting it this way, saying, quote,
- 16:55Speaker 1: Today's decision restores the proper separation of powers between the
- 17:00Speaker 1: branches of government. Ending nationwide injunctions is a tremendous victory
- 17:05Speaker 1: for the American people in the rule of law that
- 17:08Speaker 1: coming from the White House Council David Warrington saying quote,
- 17:12Speaker 1: no longer can rogue activist judges abuse their authority to
- 17:16Speaker 1: dictate the executive powers of the president of the United States.
- 17:21Speaker 1: The Supreme Court ruled. It's a massive victory for the Constitution,
- 17:25Speaker 1: the rule of law, and the presidency itself. The White
- 17:28Speaker 1: House says in their statement, saying this. Since the moment
- 17:31Speaker 1: President Trump took office, low level activist judges have been
- 17:35Speaker 1: exploiting their positions to recap the agenda of which he
- 17:39Speaker 1: President Trump was overwhelmingly elected. In fact, of the forty
- 17:45Speaker 1: nationwide injunctions filed against Trump's executive actions in his second term,
- 17:49Speaker 1: thirty five of them came from just five far left jurisdictions.
- 17:54Speaker 1: In California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, the District of Columbia. So
- 17:58Speaker 1: now the Trump administration can properly proceed and critical actions
- 18:03Speaker 1: save the country can happen. Congratulations the Trump Administration for
- 18:08Speaker 1: every American that believes in the rule of law.
