- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all suit giving them like the million
- 0:16Speaker 1: bucks things and it's cost me through good it. Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to mom together for Steve. Please, I don't join
- 0:50Speaker 1: joining me. You gotta do that. Turn you're going. You
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out. Turn you got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water got me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your thing, I shall will come morning.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Oh man, oh man? How many times I got to
- 2:15Speaker 1: say that before I get tired of it. I think
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be real
- 2:22Speaker 1: with you, because, boy, that Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:25Speaker 1: show man. Clear indication of how God can do some unexpected,
- 2:32Speaker 1: wonderful things for you, how he leads your life in
- 2:36Speaker 1: directions that you never ever saw coming. You know. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: was talking with somebody the other day and they were
- 2:42Speaker 1: talking about how Man, they were young and they were
- 2:45Speaker 1: doing things, and they never knew that the things that
- 2:47Speaker 1: they were doing as a youngster would come. And he
- 2:53Speaker 1: helped form who they were today as an adult. This
- 2:56Speaker 1: guy's fifty years old. And you know, the same thing
- 3:00Speaker 1: for you, if you look back on your life and
- 3:03Speaker 1: all of the things that you've done, it helps shape
- 3:06Speaker 1: you into who you are now. This is provided now
- 3:11Speaker 1: that you take the positive approach. Now when I say
- 3:14Speaker 1: look back at your life and see what you've done,
- 3:16Speaker 1: that doesn't mean dwell on the misfortunate moments, because the
- 3:20Speaker 1: misfortunate moments were necessary. I know it. It's hard to
- 3:24Speaker 1: see that when it's happening to you, but the unfortunate
- 3:27Speaker 1: moments are necessary. You know, what really makes you appreciate
- 3:32Speaker 1: summer vacation is winter work. What really makes you appreciate
- 3:37Speaker 1: a walk on the beach, it's when it's cold, it
- 3:40Speaker 1: is raining outside. What really makes you appreciate when you're up,
- 3:46Speaker 1: it's because you've been down. See if you are up
- 3:49Speaker 1: all the time. Just the nature of us as human beings,
- 3:53Speaker 1: we would lose our appreciation for because it becomes case urah,
- 3:57Speaker 1: whatever it is, well, it is what it is. I'm
- 4:00Speaker 1: just what what what you take it for? Granted, it
- 4:03Speaker 1: becomes expected. But what happens in life, say, is it
- 4:06Speaker 1: has so many twisting turns and then you learn how
- 4:10Speaker 1: to deal with those twisting turns, which makes you now
- 4:12Speaker 1: a more experienced person. And then when the sunny days come, man,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you go wild. It's really nice outside. You really want
- 4:19Speaker 1: to appreciate how warm weather. Just stay in a bunch
- 4:22Speaker 1: of cold weather all the time. I'm you know what
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm just this is really really simple and
- 4:26Speaker 1: now analogies, but it helps you along the way. Now
- 4:30Speaker 1: here's what I came to say today to everybody out there.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And this has helped me in my life. I can't
- 4:37Speaker 1: tell you what it's done for me, But a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of people are struggling with moving forward with their future,
- 4:46Speaker 1: their future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their
- 4:52Speaker 1: future hopes, their future dreams. Just simply that your future
- 4:57Speaker 1: wants a lot of people trying to having a hard
- 5:00Speaker 1: time mapping out their future. Even what I'm gonna do,
- 5:04Speaker 1: what I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make ham or
- 5:08Speaker 1: go about it? What do I do next? I want
- 5:11Speaker 1: to share something with you that I had to come
- 5:13Speaker 1: to terms with the quickest way to lose focus on
- 5:17Speaker 1: your future is to keep focusing on your past. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's like I said at the beginning. You know when
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say it's wonderful to look at your life and
- 5:27Speaker 1: review it, because if you look at it, it'll tell
- 5:30Speaker 1: you it really helps shape inform you today as the
- 5:34Speaker 1: person you are now. If you look at it in
- 5:38Speaker 1: a positive sense. But if you dwell in harp on
- 5:41Speaker 1: the negative that's happened to you, then that keeps you
- 5:45Speaker 1: from seeing the good in the incident, every bad thing
- 5:48Speaker 1: that's happened to you, there was a silver lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I know people who were on drugs who finally, man
- 5:55Speaker 1: just got sent to prison for stealing because of their habit.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I know cats old dope. Well, he went to prison.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He told me one time, he said, Steve. He said, Man,
- 6:05Speaker 1: this is the best thing ever happened to me to
- 6:07Speaker 1: save my life. Now, most people would think, how in
- 6:10Speaker 1: the world is going to prison helpful for you? The
- 6:14Speaker 1: brother said, it saved my life. First of all, it
- 6:18Speaker 1: got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for five
- 6:21Speaker 1: years from sitting in him. That's for starters. I'm clean.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself
- 6:27Speaker 1: in jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else. He said. Now, man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I meant him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody's not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 1: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:14Speaker 1: But man, but when you're in misery, When you was
- 8:16Speaker 1: in that, weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 1: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:23Speaker 1: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 1: It takes two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:30Speaker 1: takes two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:34Speaker 1: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 1: It can't just be one person want a relationship, so
- 8:39Speaker 1: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 1: the other person don't want you no more and ain't
- 8:45Speaker 1: gonna act right, you can't make him do that or
- 8:47Speaker 1: you can't make her do that, But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 1: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 1: a relationship ship, and you keep harping on the pass.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You don't think he hear that. I'm just a dude
- 9:04Speaker 1: with a show, and I hear it all the time.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Let it go, go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 9:11Speaker 1: He bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:19Speaker 1: cross around your neck when clearly he had removed it
- 9:23Speaker 1: for you. Now all you got to do is come on.
- 9:26Speaker 1: So if you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:29Speaker 1: I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got
- 9:33Speaker 1: to get it right. All this repeat of fitting the
- 9:35Speaker 1: business that's for? Who is that for? How ignorant can
- 9:39Speaker 1: you be to keep giving your life back to the
- 9:42Speaker 1: penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets, do the
- 9:45Speaker 1: right thing. Ask God to help connect you. He could
- 9:48Speaker 1: do anything. You think he can't give you a job?
- 9:51Speaker 1: Are you serious? Man? Put some faith on it. Let's
- 9:54Speaker 1: move forward, y'all. Let it go. Let's move you're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 1: get it up, get it on your mind. It's time
- 10:04Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show electrifying mystifying, incredible, deftifying, and
- 10:10Speaker 1: always relying what on talent, what on information? What on stimulation? Why?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Because we're good at it? As none better in the
- 10:20Speaker 1: morning than the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm not asking
- 10:24Speaker 1: you this, I am making a statement. If you didn't
- 10:28Speaker 1: think it would so, you would already have turned your radio.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But you know what the deal is, so welcome to
- 10:34Speaker 1: the ride, the greatest ride in all of radio by none.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Don't kill who their name is, what time they come on,
- 10:40Speaker 1: what they call their show. It ain't the ride dog
- 10:43Speaker 1: on it. Notice this is reality radio. I coined the phrase.
- 10:48Speaker 1: They stole that, just like they stole Show your Love.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, one of the original kings have come
- 11:02Speaker 1: staple on your TV six mm. A man who loves
- 11:11Speaker 1: his people, dedicated to the uplift and edification of all
- 11:18Speaker 1: those who want to be uplifted and edified. If you
- 11:24Speaker 1: don't want this, he is anyway, Ladies and gentlemen, who
- 11:32Speaker 1: now Steve Harvey morny show boy. That's an opening, But
- 11:39Speaker 1: that's an open I turned my radio for that opening.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Surely start you started comedians having their own radio shows.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Still Steve Harvey, Good Morning, tell them. I'm telling them yea,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and didn't know what. I went on GCI in Chicago
- 12:03Speaker 1: and set in for Doug Banks and then mess around
- 12:07Speaker 1: and got the morning show. That was it. Man. Here
- 12:11Speaker 1: they came every comedian they thought they thought they could
- 12:14Speaker 1: just plug a comedian in a tournament to radio they
- 12:17Speaker 1: didn't know. Wasn't but one. That's all it is. Now
- 12:24Speaker 1: it's three now they all cued Ricky smiling and dl here.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Oh oh, I was morning all. Ain't nobody morning? Anybody mourning? Men?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Ricky and Ricky has my friend never said a negative
- 12:46Speaker 1: word about it. That's my dude. Ladies and gentlemen. Caller
- 12:48Speaker 1: for rid Hi, Good morning, Alice Rady. I win, I'm
- 12:54Speaker 1: talking about that, damn junior. You know what. I can
- 12:56Speaker 1: testify everything you've done. I seen it. I toured with
- 12:59Speaker 1: you this here, fool nephew, tummy. Uh huh. There's anop
- 13:03Speaker 1: in the house. Let's make that no, there's there's a
- 13:08Speaker 1: cafe in the house. And the sigma ain't here. But
- 13:12Speaker 1: but there's a sigma to now in a sigma here
- 13:14Speaker 1: when he ain't here, that knox him weed, because ain't
- 13:17Speaker 1: we five on them? You know? All five last one
- 13:23Speaker 1: of them smith Sirley, did I speak to you? All Right?
- 13:32Speaker 1: We're gonna kick the show off with a little feel.
- 13:36Speaker 1: We're gonna ask the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey right
- 13:40Speaker 1: after this at thirty two minutes after the hour you're
- 13:43Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, time now to
- 13:47Speaker 1: ask the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. This one
- 13:51Speaker 1: is from Orlanda, Orlanda, Orlanda and Queens Orlanda writes. I'm
- 13:57Speaker 1: a sixty four year old widow and I've been going
- 14:00Speaker 1: to the same church for thirty seven years. My husband
- 14:03Speaker 1: died in January, and now I'm uncomfortable going to church
- 14:07Speaker 1: because the buzzards are circling around me every Sunday asking
- 14:11Speaker 1: if I need anything. I told them I'm fine and
- 14:15Speaker 1: my children look after me. I told Pastor what has
- 14:18Speaker 1: been going on, and he even said that if I'm
- 14:20Speaker 1: ever lonely, just call on him. And he's married. Am
- 14:25Speaker 1: I going to have to leave my church? Probably sound
- 14:28Speaker 1: like it to me, But I don't know what you expect.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Oh man, I mean, really, you've always you've probably always
- 14:36Speaker 1: always been a stellar member, always kept yourself looking nice
- 14:40Speaker 1: and everything, and now hit them buzzards is and they
- 14:43Speaker 1: ain't buzzards. Someone might really want you for the real reasons,
- 14:47Speaker 1: you know, and eventually you're gonna want somebody. So I
- 14:51Speaker 1: would stay there and let them circling until you get ready,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and then you could pick the one out the scott
- 14:56Speaker 1: that you like circling and tell them to swoop one in.
- 14:58Speaker 1: It can't be pastor No, he's married. That's the shot
- 15:05Speaker 1: out though. Yeah, all right, moving on, sky and Nashville says,
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm a twenty eight year old nurse and I just
- 15:13Speaker 1: found out that I'm pregnant with my second child. I've
- 15:16Speaker 1: been messing with my dad's friend because he pays my
- 15:18Speaker 1: bills and treats me better than men my age. He
- 15:21Speaker 1: and my dad fell out years ago, so he's ready
- 15:24Speaker 1: to go public with our relationship and get married. He's
- 15:27Speaker 1: forty two and this will be his first child. If
- 15:30Speaker 1: I tell my parents, I think it will hurt less,
- 15:33Speaker 1: hurt them less if I say we're getting married. I
- 15:36Speaker 1: don't love him, but I think he would be a
- 15:37Speaker 1: great dad. My dad thinks like you. So what should
- 15:41Speaker 1: I expect if you are not in love, deeply and
- 15:45Speaker 1: madly in love with the person don't get married. I
- 15:49Speaker 1: don't get I don't give a damn how good a
- 15:51Speaker 1: daddy he can be. Let him be a good daddy,
- 15:53Speaker 1: but that don't mean he's gonna be a great husband. Now,
- 15:56Speaker 1: he may treat you better than all the rest, but
- 15:57Speaker 1: then what you're comparing it to? See, you don't treat you.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Don't get a man because he treats you been to rest.
- 16:03Speaker 1: You get a man because you because he treats you
- 16:05Speaker 1: the way you want to. Don't just got the best
- 16:08Speaker 1: to do? You know, you just go get the best
- 16:11Speaker 1: of the worse. That don't make no sense. And you're
- 16:14Speaker 1: not in love with him? What in the world are
- 16:16Speaker 1: you doing? Just keep doing what you're doing and getting
- 16:19Speaker 1: your bills paid, and that's gonna way out because eventually
- 16:23Speaker 1: you're gonna want somebody, but it's not him. Don't marry
- 16:26Speaker 1: nobody you're not in loved it. Marriage is too hard. Yeah,
- 16:31Speaker 1: all right, thank you. Clo Logan and san Diego says,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm a forty four year old married woman and I'm
- 16:38Speaker 1: in a situation with a guy that I work with.
- 16:40Speaker 1: It's nothing sexual, at least not yet. We sexed each
- 16:45Speaker 1: other during the day and he sent me a picture
- 16:47Speaker 1: of his g I Joe, and I've sent him pictures
- 16:49Speaker 1: of my Jane. He wants a lunchtime rendezvous. But I
- 16:53Speaker 1: would never cheat on my husband, so that's out. He
- 16:56Speaker 1: sent a message that it's time for us to be
- 16:58Speaker 1: adults and be reminded. And he reminded me that he
- 17:01Speaker 1: has photos of me in his phone. What has happened here?
- 17:05Speaker 1: Do you think he'll actually blackmail me? Well, that's what
- 17:08Speaker 1: it's called. It's called extortion, blackmail highway rock Jane, though,
- 17:14Speaker 1: why she send Jane? If she does Joe, Well, that's stupid.
- 17:22Speaker 1: This is coming on. Well, I mean, you know, here's
- 17:26Speaker 1: what you could do and uh, you know, very very easily.
- 17:32Speaker 1: H Well, no, you can't do that. I take that back,
- 17:36Speaker 1: you can't. But what about Junior's question? What is that?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Just say that? Ain't ye? That ain't my Jane? Well,
- 17:43Speaker 1: if you married or somebody gonna know what you're Jane
- 17:47Speaker 1: just got to know what the Jamee you Donna, Jane
- 17:51Speaker 1: looked like, I'll tell you right now, jame I know here, Well,
- 17:55Speaker 1: I know Jane. Many times I've been called I've been
- 18:03Speaker 1: everybody in the movie. I've been tarsing and don't getting here. Well,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I've been Jamma right now, you show me my jam there.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I know my jam I've been everybody in the movie.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I've been the man and the monkey. Man. I'm eminem,
- 18:29Speaker 1: man and monkey. So the answer to Junior's questions, no
- 18:35Speaker 1: lion will not come in now here. Tell my dad,
- 18:38Speaker 1: ain't you got that move right now? All right? They
- 18:48Speaker 1: ain't gonna do, but I'll tell you what you need
- 18:52Speaker 1: to stop all this. Uh, don't don't fall for the
- 18:54Speaker 1: blackmail because the blackmail go both ways now, because you know,
- 18:59Speaker 1: if you try to black mail you know what I'm saying,
- 19:01Speaker 1: We're gonna both lose this job right here, man, he
- 19:04Speaker 1: gonna get his ass And yeah, I'm gonna tell I'm
- 19:08Speaker 1: gonna tell my husband what you did. Now he's gonna
- 19:12Speaker 1: have something for you. You might have something for me too,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but you're gonna get a whole another song. M oh man,
- 19:20Speaker 1: this is too much. Yeah, that's a lot right there,
- 19:22Speaker 1: that's a lot team too. Must you're doing that for
- 19:26Speaker 1: what a Yeah I'm seeing you can't take it back
- 19:38Speaker 1: and it lives forever all right. Downtown Columbia, South Carolina,
- 19:42Speaker 1: says I'm a twenty eight year old single man, and
- 19:44Speaker 1: I worked for my girlfriend's mom. I met my girlfriend
- 19:46Speaker 1: through her mother, so her mother knows that I've served
- 19:49Speaker 1: time and I'm on probation now. She doesn't want her
- 19:52Speaker 1: daughter to see me, and I understand that. I also
- 19:55Speaker 1: understand that her daughter is twenty nine and can decide
- 19:58Speaker 1: who she wants to date. I want a shot at
- 20:00Speaker 1: real love with my girlfriend, but her mom's blocking it.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Is there any way to get my boss to trust me? Well,
- 20:08Speaker 1: you can get the girl, you just don't gonna handle
- 20:10Speaker 1: on a job. You can get the girl, you just
- 20:13Speaker 1: ain't gonna hand on a job. And it's hard to
- 20:15Speaker 1: get a job once you're convicted felons, So this job
- 20:19Speaker 1: is important to you. But I think you all are
- 20:21Speaker 1: gonna have to find a way to talk to the
- 20:23Speaker 1: lady and get her to understand. But like you say,
- 20:26Speaker 1: you understand. But bro, you know, you you constraining yourself up.
- 20:30Speaker 1: You're in good shape. You're doing the right thing, y'all.
- 20:32Speaker 1: You're trying to put yourself together. Man, Eventually she may
- 20:34Speaker 1: have to understand if her daughter go to him, you know,
- 20:37Speaker 1: And y'all go to him the right way and sit down.
- 20:41Speaker 1: All you can sit down and just you know, find
- 20:43Speaker 1: out you ain't working no more. No, all right, cello,
- 20:48Speaker 1: thank you, great advice. As usual, coming up next, the
- 20:51Speaker 1: nephew would run that prank back right after this you're
- 20:54Speaker 1: listening show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 20:59Speaker 1: It's and is standing by with our national news and
- 21:02Speaker 1: an entertainment news trick. Daddy is back. He says he
- 21:05Speaker 1: is more afraid of roaches than bees. Plus Carla is
- 21:09Speaker 1: standing by with today's music. You I know, I know.

- 36:04Speaker 1: I know you've been working, you've been missing them. But
- 36:07Speaker 1: these NBA playoffs? Man, did you see the Phoenix? No,
- 36:14Speaker 1: you didn't see that game. I cut it off. It
- 36:16Speaker 1: was one on one to one on one because I
- 36:19Speaker 1: don't like to go to bed with high blood pression,
- 36:22Speaker 1: heart radar all up and you know anxiety. You better

- 37:28Speaker 1: Paul George, like all that work I did, and this
- 37:32Speaker 1: is how we're gonna lose. It was a good game
- 37:34Speaker 1: man who let him cut to the basket like that,
- 37:37Speaker 1: That's what I mean. And then he just threw it
- 37:41Speaker 1: up there. So how the boy seven one? Hell, he

- 38:33Speaker 1: but I think he out for good. I think he
- 38:35Speaker 1: may be out tome. He may so we just have
- 38:38Speaker 1: to see, man. But these series, man, this is this
- 38:40Speaker 1: is this is playoff basketball. Best for he has seen
- 38:42Speaker 1: in a long time. Paul Paul George's hooping though. He's
- 38:45Speaker 1: shutting a lot of the haters down, been talking about
- 38:47Speaker 1: he on show up in the big games where he
- 38:49Speaker 1: had not. Yeah, he hears. You can't even mad at him, man,

- 41:03Speaker 1: for him out. That's the crazy part. He's trying to
- 41:10Speaker 1: get it thrown out. Let me explain something. It ain't
- 41:13Speaker 1: near as rough as it's fitting to be. See, he
- 41:15Speaker 1: just in jail, right in jail. He didn't even move yet. Oh,
- 41:18Speaker 1: they're gonna they're gonna send me into a home. And
- 41:22Speaker 1: once they know where you're home, mat, they get set up.
- 41:26Speaker 1: And you real famous though, so you fit to bring
- 41:29Speaker 1: a lot of heat to that prison. They're gonna have
- 41:32Speaker 1: to put him in all time he is well, they're
- 41:37Speaker 1: gonna they're gonna have to protect him because of the
- 41:39Speaker 1: high rooms. They're gonna put him in isolated self. They
- 41:41Speaker 1: gets to you in that though. I don't care where
- 41:43Speaker 1: you go. You go maximum, they got something for you.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Somebody gonna pay somebody off. Yeah, so it gets who
- 41:51Speaker 1: work to prison the prisoners, that's who running things. Yeah,
- 42:00Speaker 1: they're gonna find a way to get to him. Yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I don't feel sorry for him yourself. That's also I said,
- 42:06Speaker 1: I don't know this man not at all. You murdered him.
- 42:09Speaker 1: We saw we saw it. Public saw it what you
- 42:13Speaker 1: did so and other officers they need to serve times
- 42:17Speaker 1: and everybody in that saw it saw it. Yeah, something
- 42:23Speaker 1: that could have been avoided. Yeah, people tried to help. No,
- 42:27Speaker 1: the officers told them to get back to all of that.
- 42:30Speaker 1: And and and and here's what a lot of people
- 42:32Speaker 1: don't know. Who just down on all inmates because it's
- 42:35Speaker 1: some good people that made some mistakes. That's in prison.
- 42:37Speaker 1: The majority of people in prison are in prison pent
- 42:40Speaker 1: in prison population is for non violent drug related defenses.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Everybody not in there for murder, rape, you know, kidnapping.
- 42:50Speaker 1: A lot of people in jail for non violent drug
- 42:53Speaker 1: related defenses. Now some people are doing some serious time too.
- 42:59Speaker 1: For when you go to prison, man, you dealing with lifers.

- 48:44Speaker 1: trying to hear you. Yell. What I'm gonna do is
- 48:49Speaker 1: they said you would act like this, Mona. They said
- 48:51Speaker 1: you would react just this way. This is what the

- 51:04Speaker 1: you can tell the where she answered the phone or Hello, Hello,
- 51:08Speaker 1: I'm on top of my game. I'm a bad see
- 51:11Speaker 1: they come here to see who he mean any time.
- 51:17Speaker 1: When she said I got a big something, you're gonna
- 51:19Speaker 1: cut that down too. But yeah, she said, yeah, I
- 51:25Speaker 1: know what you thought. I was like, no, love, Mona
- 51:37Speaker 1: got big. I was like, okay, taking something. But then
- 51:42Speaker 1: you thought it was inappropriate for her to say come
- 51:45Speaker 1: down here her. He was like, I'm not gonna do that.
- 51:48Speaker 1: But the phone call was inappropriate. I better stay on
- 51:52Speaker 1: the side on this side of the phone. I don't
- 51:54Speaker 1: want right right, No, that's inappropriate. I'm just gonna call
- 51:57Speaker 1: you and tell you that we got to get this
- 51:59Speaker 1: reduction done. Okay, Oh my goodness, Tampa Bay blotted the
- 52:04Speaker 1: nephew come to town and added the show two o'clock show,
- 52:07Speaker 1: that's two o'clock on Sunday. I did that at the
- 52:09Speaker 1: Improv and then tickets almost gone already. How about that
- 52:12Speaker 1: The nephew is coming to Temple. Now I heard it's
- 52:15Speaker 1: raining and thundering and lightning. Now I'm still coming, but
- 52:18Speaker 1: that if y'all haven just tone that lightning down. The
- 52:21Speaker 1: tone that lightning down, and I'll be all right. If
- 52:26Speaker 1: it's any windows at the club, listen to him. We
- 52:29Speaker 1: gotta put some drapes up, put some ten on. We
- 52:31Speaker 1: have to do something. I can't see that lightning. We
- 52:32Speaker 1: gotta get rid of that. Okay, Tommy can't handle the light.
- 52:35Speaker 1: So I'm just I'm man enough to let you know
- 52:37Speaker 1: I'm scared of the light. Woman. Did you hear their sentence.
- 52:42Speaker 1: I'm man enough to let you know I'm scared of light.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Man with that little baby statement, man enough to let
- 52:55Speaker 1: you know what I'm together the light. Okay, Oh all right, nephew, Well,

- 53:39Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 53:41Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Subject She's in the middle stirring
- 53:46Speaker 1: up mess. Dear Stephen Shirley. I was in an emotionally
- 53:50Speaker 1: abusive marriage for eight years. I've been divorced for two years,
- 53:54Speaker 1: and I'm trying to get on with my life. My
- 53:56Speaker 1: ex husband talked down to me and call me names,
- 54:00Speaker 1: but I chalked it up to him being selfish and
- 54:02Speaker 1: inadequate as a man, so I was able to be
- 54:05Speaker 1: friendly toward him for the sake of our eight year
- 54:08Speaker 1: old daughter until recently. He adores our daughter, and he
- 54:12Speaker 1: got to keep the house in the divorce because he
- 54:15Speaker 1: owned it outright. My daughter's room is still there as
- 54:19Speaker 1: she left it, and I also left a lot of
- 54:21Speaker 1: my personal belongings in the house. Because they wouldn't fit
- 54:24Speaker 1: in my apartment. My grandmother's sewing machine and a lot
- 54:28Speaker 1: of my family photo albums are a few of my
- 54:30Speaker 1: prize possessions that I had to leave behind. We share
- 54:34Speaker 1: custody of our daughter, and when I go to pick
- 54:36Speaker 1: her up, he never invites me inside. My daughter got
- 54:40Speaker 1: in a car Sunday and said her daddy was painting
- 54:43Speaker 1: the house and put a lot of stuff in boxes
- 54:45Speaker 1: so he could sell it. I asked her what was
- 54:48Speaker 1: in the boxes and she said it was a lot
- 54:50Speaker 1: of my things. I called him when we got home
- 54:53Speaker 1: and asked him if he was putting my things out.
- 54:55Speaker 1: He said that it was time to rid his house
- 54:57Speaker 1: of my junk, especially since I was with a new
- 55:01Speaker 1: man now. I asked why he thought I had a
- 55:04Speaker 1: new man, and he said that my daughter told him.
- 55:07Speaker 1: He bragged that he and my child have an unbreakable
- 55:10Speaker 1: bond and she tells him everything. I thought I was
- 55:14Speaker 1: dating discreetly, but apparently she's been listening to my conversations.
- 55:19Speaker 1: I asked him if I could pick up my belonging soon,
- 55:22Speaker 1: and he said no. He told me to focus on
- 55:25Speaker 1: my new relationship and leave him alone. This is another
- 55:29Speaker 1: form of abuse, and my daughter started all of this.
- 55:32Speaker 1: What should I do now? And how can I get
- 55:35Speaker 1: my stuff? Wow? Edward, Okay, come on now, Mom, you
- 55:43Speaker 1: can't really be serious about blaming your daughter in this one.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Don't you see what's happening here. I mean, your ex
- 55:51Speaker 1: is clearly the culprit. He's the mean guy, and that's
- 55:54Speaker 1: why you left him. That's the main reason you left him,
- 55:57Speaker 1: because he was emotionally abusive to you and called your
- 56:00Speaker 1: names and all of that. Remember he said there was
- 56:04Speaker 1: an unbreakable bond between him and your daughter. But I
- 56:07Speaker 1: think what he's doing is of course, manipulating your baby
- 56:11Speaker 1: into telling him everything that you're doing. Your daughter's eight
- 56:14Speaker 1: years old. She doesn't know what he's doing, and she
- 56:17Speaker 1: doesn't know any better because she's eight years old. She's
- 56:19Speaker 1: just a baby. She's just doing what her dad asks.
- 56:22Speaker 1: So she's not messy, as your letter title suggests. She's
- 56:26Speaker 1: just doing what her dad tells her to do. She
- 56:30Speaker 1: sees nothing wrong with what she's doing. And as a
- 56:33Speaker 1: matter of fact, he's probably got her thinking she's doing
- 56:36Speaker 1: the right thing by going to him and telling him
- 56:38Speaker 1: everything when he asks. So I say, be careful, mom,
- 56:42Speaker 1: about what he's doing, and don't let him use your
- 56:44Speaker 1: child to play you, because that's what it is. And
- 56:48Speaker 1: so what if you are dating someone else you can date.
- 56:51Speaker 1: You're divorced two years now. You know you want your
- 56:55Speaker 1: stuff honestly, because he's so petty and vindictive. Don't know
- 57:00Speaker 1: if he'll if he'll ever give it your things back,
- 57:03Speaker 1: but I will say you could take your new man
- 57:06Speaker 1: over there, and if he's selling the stuff, you can
- 57:09Speaker 1: buy this stuff. You know, he's just crazy and controlling
- 57:12Speaker 1: and takes pleasure in hurting and humiliating you, and he's
- 57:15Speaker 1: used your daughter to help him do it. So I
- 57:18Speaker 1: just say to avoid that you can let those things
- 57:21Speaker 1: go if you can. You know, I know they mean
- 57:24Speaker 1: a lot to you, But you know this guy's so crazy.
- 57:28Speaker 1: You may not want to bring all this drama into
- 57:30Speaker 1: your life. And if you, if you leave the stuff
- 57:33Speaker 1: and let it go and make new memories, that way,
- 57:35Speaker 1: you don't have to interact with him about anything other
- 57:39Speaker 1: than your daughter, Steve, she's in the middle staring up
- 57:43Speaker 1: mess an eight year old. Really, really, lady, you're ridiculous
- 57:48Speaker 1: this entire letter, and surely put it to you mildly,
- 57:52Speaker 1: But I'm not so I'm gonna go down the letter
- 57:54Speaker 1: and I'm gonna show you what you've done this entire time.
- 57:59Speaker 1: You've been devoid for two years. You're trying to get
- 58:02Speaker 1: on with your life. It's two years. Get on with it.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Max Hubbing talked down to me and called me names,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and I chalked it up to him being childish and
- 58:14Speaker 1: inadequate as a man. Now, you said you were in
- 58:17Speaker 1: an abusive marriage, emotionally abusive marriage, that's what you said.
- 58:24Speaker 1: So you try to remain freely towards him for the
- 58:26Speaker 1: sake of eight year old daughter until recently he adores
- 58:29Speaker 1: our order and got to keep the house and boys
- 58:31Speaker 1: got all that time they wouldn't And now here's departum.
- 58:34Speaker 1: I'm starting trip on. I left a lot of my
- 58:38Speaker 1: personal belongers in the house because they wouldn't fit in
- 58:40Speaker 1: my apartment. My grandmother sewing machine. Whatebody want? The old
- 58:48Speaker 1: ass sewing machine? You don't even sew next? And a
- 58:53Speaker 1: lot of my family photo albums. How small is her
- 58:57Speaker 1: damn apartment? Where the photo albums? Don't it in it?
- 59:01Speaker 1: I don't even understand what you're leading stuff over here?
- 59:04Speaker 1: And a few of my prize possessions if something has
- 59:07Speaker 1: been somewhere sitting in a storage or his house for
- 59:12Speaker 1: two years, how prized of a possession was it. I
- 59:17Speaker 1: found that if I ain't seen or you something in
- 59:20Speaker 1: two years, I probably don't need it. That's including that
- 59:24Speaker 1: old ragged ass sewing machine. I'm just being real with
- 59:31Speaker 1: you now. We share custody of our daughter. When I
- 59:34Speaker 1: go pick up, he never invites me in. Why you
- 59:37Speaker 1: wan't in there? Didn't you say he was abusive? But
- 59:40Speaker 1: I think that's why you left the stuff over there
- 59:43Speaker 1: so you could have some type of little tie to
- 59:47Speaker 1: get back in the house. That's why you ain't moving
- 59:51Speaker 1: on with your life. You didn't left all your stuff
- 59:54Speaker 1: over there. That's tying you to his life. I got
- 59:57Speaker 1: something hold on and we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: response coming up a twenty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: subject She's in the middle stirring up mess. We'll get
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject She's
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: in the middle stirring up mess. This ridiculous woman is
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: blaming an eight year old girl for stand up mess
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: in her house in a relationship that don't exist. You
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: don't even have a relationship. You said you wouldn't any
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: emotionally abusive marriage for eight years. Your husband talked down
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: to you, call your names, and you choked it up
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to him being childish and childish and inadequate. We'll come
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: back to that in a minute. And then you try
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: to be friendly because of your daughter and two recently
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: eight year old he adoze. Our daughter got kept a
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: room in the house and everything, and you left some
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: of your person belongs in the house because they wouldn't
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: fit in my apartment. Well, let's talk about the stuff.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: If you left it don't fit an partment. The sewing
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: machine don't fit in a department, I bet it do.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: And how small of an apartment you got where you
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: can't get a photo album? Now what you lead a
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: photo album? Faul, because you're trying to have some ties
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to keep going over there. I'm gonna prove that to
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you in a minute. And a few of my prize
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: possessions that I had to leave behind. Wait a minute.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: If you haven't seen this stuff or had possession of
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: it in two years, how prized of a possession is it?
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: I doubt it? We share custod our daughter. When I
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: go to pick up he never invites me inside. It
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: is his house, y'all divorced. He don't like you, and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: you don't like him, and where are you trying to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: go in this house? And this abusive man for my
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: daughter got in the car sending and said her daddy
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: was painting the house and put a lot of stuff
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: in boxes and he could sell it. I asked for
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: what was in the boxing? She said, a lot of
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: your stuff. I called him when I got home, and
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: after he was putting my things out, he said it
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: was time to read his house to your junk, especially
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: since I was with a new man. Now. I asked
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: him why he thought I had a new man. He said,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: my daughter told him. He bragged. Here and my child
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: have an unbreakable bond. And she tells him everything. Like
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Shirley said, he manipulates her into telling her everything. The
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: baby is eight. How this grown man can't get information
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: out of eight year old? She ain't a hostage. All
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you gotta do, ad, buy some candy, a damn doll
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and she started talking. But she don't even know she
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: hurting you. She's just telling her daddy the truth. I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: thought I was dating discreetly, but apparently she's been listening
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to my conversation. Why you ain't dating discreet and she
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: ain't been listening. You've been talking in front of the baby,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: and what you're tripping You've been divorced two years. You
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: can dage why you got to be discreet? Why are
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you holding on to something God has clearly gotten you
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: out of, but you keep tying yourself back to the
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: path by leaving all your prize possessions over there. That
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: ain't that prize after all. I asked him if I
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: could pick up my belonging sooner. He said no. He
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: told me I could pick up my bel He told
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: me to focus on my new relationship and leave him alone.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: This is another form of abuse. And my daughter started
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: all of this. What should I do and how can
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I get my stock? Your daughter didn't start nothing. He
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: was abusing you before y'all had the baby. And let
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: me ask you something else. What makes you think he's
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: still not veribally abused? What did it stop after the divorce,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Because it sound like he's doing it still, But now
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you blame in the eight year old baby. Stop blaming
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: other people for your damn mistake. You pick this nut
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: dance dude. Now you blame ing the baby for the
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: baby just got you as the mama and him as
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: the daddy. It ain't half fault. Now, I'm with sure
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: he's probably manipulating her, so don't blame the girl. I've
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: also found in my life that if I ain't used
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: something in two years, I probably don't need it all missing.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: And when I started looking at my cabinets and stuff
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: like that, and I see stuff I ain't seen in
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: a long time, I throw it away because it ain't
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: that much. You hanging onto something that ain't nothing? Photo album?
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: Sewing machine? What? How old are you? Who got a
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: photo album? Any? Damn? What? Your iPhone? That? Damn the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: baby eight? The iPhone been out for eight years. All
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: your pictures are to be an ice cloud? What did
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: you got a photo album for? I got a polar roder? What? Lady? What? On?
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: This letter is ridiculous from top to bottom? And you're
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: scared after two years to say you in a relationship.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I really don't get that, lady, two years you're supposed
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: to be dating. Tell him, so, I'm with Shirley. Tell
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: your new boyfriend you need to go over there and
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: pick up some stuffy and all of this is because
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: didn't you say at the top of the letter you
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: chalked it up to him being childish and inadequate as
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: a man. Don't you still see the childish and in
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: inadequate behavior acting out even now, But you're gonna blame
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: it on the real child that's eight years old? Are you? Ridiculous? Man?
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Don't nobody give a damn about your stuff? Really don't.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: You've made that clear. So when the last time you
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: made something, I don't want to wear your little record
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: closure and the baby's should don't want to wear so
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: she probably helped with the soule machine in the box
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: lady miss me and Shirley with this ridiculous ladder you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: just wrote up. You need to grow up and stop
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: acting childish inadequate and forget that man that was abusive
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: to you and gon live your life. You ain't gonna
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: handle new Man because you were in about that photo album.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Who got here? You? Where your our phone? Comments? Un

- 1:08:52Speaker 1: appreciates how much work I put in on these streets
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: so that we can have a future. But while I'm
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: working so hard, you know, I get to snuggle up
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Tommy with Junior. Matter of fact, we was watching the
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: news last night when the forty cows escate from the
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: meat packing plant. They was run a while, we can
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: have it. They caused damage, the multiple cause and then
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: when the news went off. Junior said, who the hell
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: left the gate over? Who snuggle up? We snuggling? Damn
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: cow said, we see what's happening in Hill. Right, you're
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: gonna get us on. All right, Cheryl, We thank you,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: We love you. Coming up at the time of you.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: We know you do, girl, Carlin's reality update coming up
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Tommy, come on,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: introduce our girl. She's here, she's ready. Oh it's that time, ladies,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: and tell him the buckle up and hold on time.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: She is here. Call a Ferroll with what reality update
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: coming in? Hot? Baby, coming in hot? Yes, that's my
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: girl though, all right, thank you, nephew, thank you. Shirley,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: ready to love all your back so we can talk
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: about it. Nephew. Okay, I'm really sick of Kiraly just
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: because because she can't make up of mind. Is that
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: what it is? Yes, yes, she's getting the whole time. Yes, yes.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: So AJ was about to send her home and then
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: he had a change of heart and my man was
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: crying holding her hand. Meanwhile she was talking and thinking
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: about Jason. I'm like girl, by AJ, you know, he
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: had to send our girl Alexus home, and she was
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: really hurt. She felt betrayed. Yeah, he broke her, broke
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: her heart. So I felt bad for Alexis. Meanwhile, and
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: she did, but she he doesn't know that he had
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: said he was in to see Kyro home. She don't
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: that part right. Oh yeah, so it's gonna be when
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you get to that reunion done okay't wait, dune dune
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: du so. Meanwhile, Jason, he's moving on, baby. He chose Liz.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: That is his boot. He bought her a white sentimental
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: white rose and explained what that meant to him. She
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: was all emotional. So Jason has made up his well,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: it was something a tradition that he gave one to
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: his mother, he gave one to his stepmother. It's just
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: something that's close to him about truth and being honest.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: And that's what he said about her, that he chose
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: her for that, and she was really emotional about that.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: You're thinking death, I hate you, don't give any one.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: I was playing anything. I'll see white stupid. It's so stupid. Anyway,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: Amber and Chris there you just love her to Dan
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: stop one, yes, yes, yes, that's my dude. Stop shout
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: out to Cupid. Anyway, Amber and Chris they're getting close.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: But then Chris tells Amber that he is well quote
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: practicing semen retention. That's what he said. He's not having
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: sex until he gets married. And he called it semen
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: retention is abstinence. He said, well, that's her. But I'm
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: just telling, I'm quoting what he actually told Ambers. What
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: he told this, This is what he told atention when
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: you are in, when you are sexually active without protection
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: and you call yourself holding, who is this fool? And said,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: he practiced. We love Chris, we love he's practicing seeming retention.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: That what he said is that not what he said? Guys,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: if you met him and get the norm, he is
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: not lying. He's doing exactly what he's saying. That's abstin
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: this man. It's okay, it's okay. We gotta try to
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: be that smart though, just say as we love. Y'all
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: hate no Chris. I love Chris. I ain't hate Chris.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Come we all men, and you know you you can
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: attention it if you won't attention. But I'm telling right now,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: how does work? I keep attention anyway? Come on, I
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: don't love no, I love it. I love it. I
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: love how Amber though she was. Her reaction to that
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: was like uh oh freshness. She had a look like
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: we're doing something up in here. We've been doing something.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Should get your life, get your life. So we continue
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: to talk about this later. Ready to Love Tomorrow night
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: on the Own Network, hosted by very Own Nephew Tommy
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: nine eighth Central. Is that correct, mister Nephews, nine eastern
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: eighth Central, Baby Only, We'll be back with more of
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: this ignorant show right after this. You're listening to show,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: all right? See before we went to break, you had
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: your hand up during card the whole break today. Whoever
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: the dude is named, Christians practice seeming retention. I'm ready
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: to love. That's what he told the He asked you something,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: and the girl he told it to look like she
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: wasn't with It's okay, okay, So let me say this,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: what male of man of the male species do you
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: know that's practicing seeming retention with a woman that's working
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: on extraction? How long do you funny he gonna be
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: able to be under retention when everything else is at attention.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I'm just trying to figure out how long what man
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: can practice retention? This is why he's attention and the
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: woman has your undivided attention. How long? How long can
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: you hold on to your goodness when she's steady seeing
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you up against hud? Come on, now, I wonder preach
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: to Chris though myself. I come back, I preach to Chris.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: We had MS sermons coming up thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show. All right, Steve,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: you have something to say too? Ready to love Chris
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: and motown? Yes, please go right ahead, take a listen.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: I'm not even having sex right now. I'm like, I mean, yeah,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: once I get you wet married, Yeah, I can't convince
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: you a little bit. Maybe, No, I mean, don't couch
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: your boy out just because you know I'm holding off.
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I'm practicing this semen retention now. I think the main thing,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I'm just trying to protect the sexual energy because that
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: is the most important energy that we in humans have,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: and like for me to be giving that away to
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: women who weren't deserving of it, Like I was, just like,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: what was I doing? We've heard enough that's right there.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: It is now time to bring something to Chris's attention. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: when you said, young maid, that you are going to
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: practice sexual or shall I say as you said, semen retention, retention,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: hold back. I must bring something to your attention that
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: you are now I'm going to create what is called descension,
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: descentsion trying to hang on to something that you are
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: unable to do, which is called seemen retention. The only
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: way you can do that is with some form of lynching.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: How wait a minute, you must do your best to
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: keep it from getting out, and you call it seemen retention,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: You're going to cause a series in seeming retention. You're
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: going to cause a lot of flinching trying to maintain
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: seeming retention, which is going to cause this woman to
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: put you in detention and take your time. Did I
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: fail to bring something that I did not mention at all?
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: These rhymes? Because it ain't gonna work, not now time?
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: All right, all right, you can't hold it back if
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: she won't it when you're right now, I'm willing to
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: get it. Why are you flinching trying to hold on
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: to the lynching that's gonna form some dissension that's gonna
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: creator detention. Why are you possess seeming retention? Whoa boys?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Just a stupid as day? Come thank you for that.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: An you ain't going you what? Amen? You're listening? All right, guys.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: this Thursday. It's been a fun day. I've had fun today. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: we had a good time today. Yea. And Steve, your
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: generosity just never stops. Well, hold on, before we do anything.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: I want to say happy anniversary to my wife Margie,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: because today we celebrate our fourteenth anniversary. When anniversary ever
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: ever anything for fourteen anything I've ever done for fourteen
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: years was comedy. I want to say happy anniversary to
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: my girl. Man. Oh, beautiful, y'all going somewhere? No, man,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: she told me she didn't want to go nowhere. I'd
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: arrange a tripping everything. She said, maybe let's just stay home.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: That's when you got anything, you place nothing else. Man,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: I was talking to I said baby, Yes, said baby,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I want to just stay home. Yeah, we're gonna do
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: something real snek at the house today, but that's it.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: That would be cool, beautiful, Steve. Steve's generosity just never ends.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: I mean you you make people's lives lives with your generosity.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: You just always continuously give back. So this latest thing,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: what have you done. Now let the people know you're
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: talking about the video video. Yeah, well you you bought
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: a homeless man's some art from a homeless man. Steve Well,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: this guy was a major artist in LA and I
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: don't know the whole story behind it, but something happened
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: and he ended up getting locked up for a while
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and while he was in there, he painted a portrait
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: of me and he just said, because I was just
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: wanted to guys that kept him up, you know, awake
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: and positive. So this guy named Charlie who goes around
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: the country changing people's lives. Charlie, a white guy, used
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: to be real heavy set. He used to be worked
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: with Two Chains, And on the night the two Change
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: were on a Grammy, he went to Two Chains and said,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I love you, man, but I ain't happy with my life.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I'm leaving Two Change wished him well. Changed is a
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: good dude, by the way, and he wished him well,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: and he said, I just got to go do something
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: with my life. So he decided to travel around the country.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: All he does is go around the country helping people.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: He just does nice stuff for people, man pay people's rent,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: fixed people cars. But he got in a lot of trouble.
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: So he sold both his houses, sold all his cards,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: bought an RV, and went around the country with all
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: his money, and he ran out of money. And then
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: he said something I said changed his life. And so
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: he sent me this tape and I began talking with
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: the guy and I put one of his plat put
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: one of his tapes on my social media. While all
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: of a sudden, all these donations flooded in and he
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: had money again. So all he does is go around
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: the country changing people's lives. Yeah, Charlie does. And he said, Steve,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I gotta send you something. So the other day he
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: sent me this video of the guy that had been
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: in prison and painted this portrait of meat. And you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: know that touched me, man, And then he said the
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: guy and right now, the guy was homeless. He was
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: on a grocery card, sitting on the grocery card in
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: front of a CVS. And Charlie ran up on him
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: and learned this whole story, and he started a page
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: for this guy and everything, and all of a sudden, man,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: money just started coming into this guy. And so I
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: saw the painting that he had painted to me while
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: he was locked up, and so I bought the painting
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: for three thousand dollars, you know, and he wouldn't share
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: it with the guy, and the guy started crying. But
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the guy, this guy, Charlie has transformed this homeless man's
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: life because this man then got up to now in
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: donations for art and stuff over eighty three thousand dollars.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Why we got the clip though, can we go ahead? Cap?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: He said, three thousand dollars got him homelessness that at
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: the Apollo Theater, so he wanted to pay three thousand
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: dollars for a painting. Steve Hart said, I was homeless,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Let's go, great ship. I was him. I was just
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: out of everything. I was about to give up, man,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: and I got a call to come and do Showtime
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: and Apolo. It changed my life. And that money I made, man,
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I got three thousand dollars. And first thing I did
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: was when got me apartment in Texas. I got an apartment, man.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: My first apartment was one hundred and eighty five dollars
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: a month. And I slept on the floor in this
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: apartment for eight months without a bed because I only
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: had gotten that three thousand dollars. I didn't know when
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: I was gonna get no more money. So all I
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: had was an apartment man for one hundred and eighty
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: five dollars. I didn't have a bed. I didn't need
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: a bed I had. I finally had a door that
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: I could lock, and I had a refrigerate in that.
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: So I bought me some balogney, some potatoes, and some
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: rice somebody could eat on for a long time. And
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I just I just laid in the floor. I slept
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: in the floor for eight months, man, before I even
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: bought a bed, because I just needed a door. I
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: had a bathroom man, and that changed my life. And
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: when I saw the dude, I said, that changed my life.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: And I didn't know here we were starting to collect
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: all this money. But this man, through this guy, Charlie,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: Charlie has gotten this guy over eighty three thousand dollars
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: now wonderful, and he's just a great story man. And
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I just appreciate God for helping me to be relevant,
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: because that's all I ever wanted to be man leven,
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: more than rich or famous. I wanted to always be
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: relevant and important man that I could when people see me,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: somebody look at me and say, because of him, I
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: didn't give up and that's all I ever wanted, So
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: I praise God for that. That's all God. That's not
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: Steve Harvey byeway, So I'm glorious. Amen. Yes, sir, y'all
