- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on, jig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. I thank God for it every day.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I try to remember that too, you know. I try
- 2:15Speaker 1: to remember to be grateful. I think gratitude is one
- 2:20Speaker 1: of the things that helps keep me grounded. You can
- 2:23Speaker 1: go as far as you want in life. If you
- 2:25Speaker 1: don't mind who gets the credit. Well, that applies to
- 2:28Speaker 1: God too, don't it. I mean, you know, really, if
- 2:31Speaker 1: you don't mind who gets the credit. I'm surrounded by
- 2:36Speaker 1: very competent people. I'm surrounded by a lot of people
- 2:40Speaker 1: who work hard on their jobs on their career, who
- 2:45Speaker 1: are dedicated employees and also just dedicated to their families
- 2:50Speaker 1: and you know, dedicated to their own set of aspirations.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I don't expect anybody to work for me forever. I
- 2:58Speaker 1: always look at my opportunities are stepping stones because I
- 3:03Speaker 1: want everyone around me really to aspire to be more.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's really the way I am. I'm not
- 3:10Speaker 1: any other way. I'm not trying to hold you to
- 3:12Speaker 1: this position. You know, tell you there's no room for
- 3:15Speaker 1: growth any of that. But even though I'm surrounded by
- 3:20Speaker 1: these people, I'm grateful that God placed them in my
- 3:26Speaker 1: path in my life. But in my mind, in my spirit,
- 3:35Speaker 1: in everything in me, the credit still belongs to God.
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry, the credit still belongs to God. See if
- 3:46Speaker 1: you would, just for a moment, stop thinking about yourself,
- 3:52Speaker 1: just for a moment. I know that's hard, but just
- 3:55Speaker 1: for a moment, stop thinking about yourself and realize that
- 3:59Speaker 1: maybe you are who you are because God is who
- 4:02Speaker 1: he is. Maybe that's the case. Have you ever considered that?
- 4:07Speaker 1: That's the strongest possibility I can give to you? You know,
- 4:11Speaker 1: how do you think you're the one that made it through?
- 4:16Speaker 1: How you think you the one after all of the
- 4:20Speaker 1: ignorant decisions we have made? And oh my goodness, let's
- 4:23Speaker 1: all be honest. Ain't we made some crazy decisions? I'm
- 4:28Speaker 1: talking about, man, I have made decisions so adverse to
- 4:32Speaker 1: my destiny and career, my promises. I've made some decisions man,
- 4:38Speaker 1: knowingly you hear me knowingly do something wrong, and in
- 4:43Speaker 1: spite of all that, I'm still here standing. Okay, come
- 4:47Speaker 1: on now, really, really, all the dirt you've been done,
- 4:53Speaker 1: everybody done dirt, all the mistakes you've made, You're in
- 4:57Speaker 1: a position you in today because of what? Because you
- 5:01Speaker 1: all that? Because you work harder than anybody else. Look,
- 5:06Speaker 1: I work hard, I'll be there. I'll tell you in
- 5:09Speaker 1: a minute. I work hard, but I don't think I'm
- 5:11Speaker 1: the hardest working person out there. I'm pretty sure somebody
- 5:15Speaker 1: didn't work way harder than I have. So okay, so
- 5:18Speaker 1: you work hard? Okay, cool, I got all that. But man,
- 5:24Speaker 1: what about his grace and his mercy? What about his favor?
- 5:30Speaker 1: How many times, man, you didn't rely on that, even
- 5:33Speaker 1: when you ain't know you was relying on it? How
- 5:35Speaker 1: many times man, God hadn't shown you mercy? You ain't
- 5:39Speaker 1: even deserve it? Do you know how many things I've
- 5:42Speaker 1: done wrong? I just ain't get caught at it? You know.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Let me see how simple I can be? Here? You
- 5:49Speaker 1: speed you jaywalk. You lie to police when you get
- 5:56Speaker 1: pulled over that you wasn't speed and you go to
- 5:58Speaker 1: court and I argue you wasn't speeding when you was,
- 6:02Speaker 1: You make you turns. I'm just doing traffic violations. Now,
- 6:08Speaker 1: let's get off traffic for a second. Let's get on
- 6:11Speaker 1: human violations. You talk about people when you're not supposed to.
- 6:17Speaker 1: You indulge yourself in gossip even when you don't really
- 6:21Speaker 1: have all the facts. You pass judgment, You lust for
- 6:26Speaker 1: people that don't belong to you. You say things to
- 6:32Speaker 1: people that you're not supposed to say. So, look, all
- 6:38Speaker 1: of us, we all, we all guilty. Now see I'm
- 6:43Speaker 1: not saying you do all of that, but I'm saying
- 6:45Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I hit you somewhere in there, just
- 6:48Speaker 1: somewhere in there. You to lie before you know you
- 6:52Speaker 1: lied recently. I mean, come on, And I'm just saying
- 6:55Speaker 1: so with all that in mind. See, I'm just looking
- 6:57Speaker 1: at the little things that we do that we don't
- 6:59Speaker 1: get busted for. Not to mention the chips you stole
- 7:02Speaker 1: when you was a kid and nobody caught you. Well,
- 7:05Speaker 1: that elevated, didn't it. And some of y'all just didn't
- 7:08Speaker 1: stop stealing. The next thing you know, you was in
- 7:10Speaker 1: a car. Now you're sitting somewhere you don't want to
- 7:12Speaker 1: be sitting because of a decision you made. But through
- 7:15Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, couldn't it have been worse? Though?
- 7:18Speaker 1: Without his grace and mercy, could not it have been worse?
- 7:22Speaker 1: I know two dudes it got caught in the garage
- 7:24Speaker 1: one time, trying to break in somebody's house, and the
- 7:27Speaker 1: person in the house they broke into just happened to
- 7:29Speaker 1: have a gun and held them into garage, caught them
- 7:34Speaker 1: and hailed them to the garage to the police car.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they had all
- 7:39Speaker 1: full right to shoot these two people, but they didn't.
- 7:43Speaker 1: The Grayson Mercy. See, all of us have benefited from
- 7:46Speaker 1: his grace and mercy. All of us have done a wrong,
- 7:50Speaker 1: committed a sin, broken the law, and somehow, through his
- 7:53Speaker 1: grace and mercy, got by, doing drugs, buying drugs, slanging drugs,
- 7:58Speaker 1: doing something, got by, jump on somebody for no reason,
- 8:01Speaker 1: got by, you know. So see how you figure with
- 8:07Speaker 1: all that that can go on in your life? And
- 8:09Speaker 1: then hold on, let me throw a couple more at you.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You can't wake yourself up in the morning, mister big shot.
- 8:17Speaker 1: You don't have the ability to control the breaths that
- 8:21Speaker 1: you take. Really, mister big shot, really, let's get real
- 8:26Speaker 1: basic with it now. You can't wake yourself up in
- 8:29Speaker 1: the morning. That's favor, that's grace, that's mercy, that's Him
- 8:37Speaker 1: allowing you to wake up just hoping we get it right.
- 8:43Speaker 1: You know, God spared me through all the dirt I
- 8:45Speaker 1: was doing just hoping. One day, man, can you just
- 8:48Speaker 1: straighten up a little bit? When I finally straightened up,
- 8:52Speaker 1: And I'm gonna just say it, straightened up a little bit. See,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I ain't straightened up all the way. Say, I ain't
- 8:56Speaker 1: gonna sit here and tell you that I just straightened
- 8:59Speaker 1: up a little bit. He started blessing me. So the
- 9:01Speaker 1: more blessings I got start going, Man, maybe I'll try
- 9:04Speaker 1: straighten up a little bit more. So I straightened up
- 9:05Speaker 1: a little bit more. Now I still got a long
- 9:07Speaker 1: way to go, but I'm straighter than I was now.
- 9:10Speaker 1: When people judging me, and as they will, and they do,
- 9:13Speaker 1: because that ain't right, but they do, and I ain't
- 9:16Speaker 1: walking just the way they walk, then here comes to criticism.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I get it all the time. Stop wanting credit all
- 9:21Speaker 1: the time, and give out some credit where credit is
- 9:24Speaker 1: due instead of get having somebody patting you on your
- 9:27Speaker 1: back all the time. Why don't you tell God, tell
- 9:30Speaker 1: people it was really was God? Man that you don't
- 9:32Speaker 1: really know how you made it? That really man, you
- 9:35Speaker 1: have no explanation for your success or you have no
- 9:37Speaker 1: explanation why you still existing today. Why don't you tell
- 9:40Speaker 1: somebody was God today? Don't be ashamed. It's the truth,
- 9:44Speaker 1: ain't it. I mean, really man, Let's give God some credit. Hell,
- 9:48Speaker 1: give God the credit and the glory and the honor.
- 9:51Speaker 1: And like that plaque said, you can go as far
- 9:53Speaker 1: as you want in life if you don't mind who
- 9:55Speaker 1: gets the credit. All right, you're listening, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Here it is. It's the dawning of a new day.
- 10:06Speaker 1: It's hump day paper. Do you know what today it is?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Do you know what remember that Kimel or that that
- 10:16Speaker 1: lady was so aggravated up du boards day? Yeah boy,
- 10:26Speaker 1: that damn Cammell coming through, that boy, one of your favorite.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah boy, that Caimmel came through. That walker knocked me
- 10:33Speaker 1: looked just like my sister. This is your last reference
- 10:38Speaker 1: to that, Commerson, I didn't have to say all of that, right, Yeah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: So everybody doing Sherlett Strawberry. Are you good? Hey, good morning, Steve,
- 10:51Speaker 1: I'm great, thank you, And one time Calin Pharrell, good morning,
- 10:56Speaker 1: hump day, midweek, all of that, and the Bill is
- 10:58Speaker 1: sitting up and then junior morning, I'm bring everybody back again,
- 11:04Speaker 1: nephew timing right here. Oh Whackett Whinsday. That's day after
- 11:11Speaker 1: your birthday. So how you feeling. I'm feeling good, feeling good,
- 11:17Speaker 1: feeling healthy and all that. I think my kids make
- 11:19Speaker 1: me feel more healthy. They keep me up. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: you know, that's that's really true. You know, and I
- 11:26Speaker 1: work around a lot of young people with Like everybody
- 11:28Speaker 1: I work out in the gym with me, it's young.
- 11:31Speaker 1: The oldest person that works out in my gym's thirty eight.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Oh wow. Yeah. So I'm in there doing stuff I
- 11:39Speaker 1: have no business do it. But you can do it though.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's what's crazy. Like the exercise was he I got
- 11:47Speaker 1: a smith machine. So the trainer puts the smith machine up.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Then you grabbed the smith machine above your head to
- 11:56Speaker 1: pull up the barber that's set in the rack. You know,
- 11:59Speaker 1: the the bar that you press up to do it
- 12:02Speaker 1: like bench press. You just rack it. Okay, you hang
- 12:06Speaker 1: with you from it with all your weight hanging down.
- 12:10Speaker 1: You hold your legs out in front of you on
- 12:12Speaker 1: the ground, and then you lift your legs up and
- 12:15Speaker 1: put them down. That's one. But the whole time you're
- 12:19Speaker 1: hanging from the bar. Well, I weigh a lot. It's
- 12:23Speaker 1: a lot, so I gotta hold my big ass up.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So I got my dup. He said, no, no, no, man,
- 12:30Speaker 1: strain your legs out. What hold on? John? And then
- 12:36Speaker 1: he jumped over it and he'd do it. But he
- 12:38Speaker 1: thirty and you the trader and you played in the NFL.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Why are we doing this. I'm gonna be hanging and
- 12:49Speaker 1: gotta lift my legs up. He said, if you ever
- 12:52Speaker 1: go over a cliff for one day, you're gonna appreciate this.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I said, duh. If I go over, do you know
- 13:00Speaker 1: how hard I will be customed out? Whoever drove me
- 13:02Speaker 1: over this day? My damn surely walking over there. Yeah, man, sorry,
- 13:09Speaker 1: it's crazy working out, so you know I'm staying young
- 13:13Speaker 1: that way. And then laughter. Yeah, we talked about that yesterday.
- 13:17Speaker 1: We talked about that. Yeah, you need that man. You
- 13:22Speaker 1: absolutely do. And it's a blessing that we're on the
- 13:25Speaker 1: show with all these comedians, Carla, because you know you
- 13:29Speaker 1: and I we will hollow we love. Yes, it makes
- 13:32Speaker 1: what we feel good. We have a good time. Absolutely
- 13:34Speaker 1: lust all right, coming up at thirty three minutes after

- 27:18Speaker 1: Birthday was good, had a good time, went out with
- 27:21Speaker 1: him with the family. It was all good. Restaurant called
- 27:26Speaker 1: True Lux and he you know I used to go
- 27:30Speaker 1: to the True Lucks in dollars sir, Yes, real names.
- 27:36Speaker 1: What you're supposed to say when your wife say we're
- 27:39Speaker 1: gonna take you out for your birthday and then they
- 27:43Speaker 1: put out your credit card? I mean, I mean, I mean,
- 27:45Speaker 1: how are you supposed to look at that? I'm just

- 28:09Speaker 1: a little my life like it's golden. M That's what
- 28:12Speaker 1: Jill Scott said to do. Did you run or work
- 28:16Speaker 1: out or anything? I did the most ignorant thing yesterday morning,
- 28:22Speaker 1: just because I'm turning fift So I got it in
- 28:24Speaker 1: my mind. I don't know what yesterday. Let me just
- 28:29Speaker 1: say this and I don't say this that off yesterday.
- 28:31Speaker 1: I was stupid, I really was. Anyway. Wow, Wow, he's
- 28:36Speaker 1: over here, Steve. Yeah, alaship turn of fifty four and
- 28:44Speaker 1: something told me, you know what, you know what, just
- 28:46Speaker 1: to represent with your you know you you're turning fifty four,
- 28:49Speaker 1: run five point four miles today. And that's what I did.
- 28:55Speaker 1: And I'm paying for it this morning. So if you
- 28:58Speaker 1: if you hear me, fade out any time this morning.
- 29:00Speaker 1: That's what that is. Five point four months all right,
- 29:03Speaker 1: nephew coming up at the top of the hour, Entertainment
- 29:06Speaker 1: and national news right after this. You're listening Stave Harvey
- 29:10Speaker 1: Morning Show. Wow, what a surprise this story was to everyone.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Supermodel Naomi Campbell welcomed her first child. This was in
- 29:21Speaker 1: a surprise announcement on Instagram yesterday. Naomi posted a picture
- 29:26Speaker 1: of her hands cradling the baby's feet with the caption,
- 29:29Speaker 1: A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother.
- 29:33Speaker 1: The message did not include any details about the birth
- 29:36Speaker 1: of the daughter, but Naomi has made it known that
- 29:38Speaker 1: she's always wanted to be a mother. It's the first
- 29:41Speaker 1: child for her. She is fifty years old. We want
- 29:43Speaker 1: to say congratulations to beautiful Naomi. Yeah, I want to
- 29:46Speaker 1: say congratulations. And you ain't finn to believe this. What
- 29:51Speaker 1: oh oh oh, it's a beautiful occasion. I mean, really, congratulations.
- 29:56Speaker 1: I know Naomi always been kind to me. Lord Jesus,
- 30:01Speaker 1: buckle up. Oh for the baby. Yeah, yeah, you're gonna
- 30:11Speaker 1: need everybody at dead house. Your mama, everybody got to go.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Everybody call her Sarah. That's what we're gonna call hus. Sarah. Oh,
- 30:23Speaker 1: because she's fifty and had a baby. Oh Sarah, Sure,
- 30:27Speaker 1: she was ninety. Yeah. In the Bible, you're talking about
- 30:32Speaker 1: Abraham's Yeah, all right, and the other's got something do
- 30:38Speaker 1: it about. We'll go here. We won't do that. I
- 30:41Speaker 1: would go say all of us have something to do
- 30:43Speaker 1: with the Bible. But I would do that. But it's
- 30:47Speaker 1: his birthday. Let's Chris keep it all right. And other
- 30:52Speaker 1: entertainment news, as we move on, some new and disturbing
- 30:56Speaker 1: allegations against Ti and Tiny. An anonymous woman claimed that
- 31:02Speaker 1: she was drugged by them before they raped her during
- 31:07Speaker 1: three way sex during a threesome. They're calling her Jane Joe.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She believes that back in two thousand and five, Tiny
- 31:14Speaker 1: spiked her tequila. She was drinking tequila, she awoke completely
- 31:18Speaker 1: naked in a bed with both Ti and Tiny in
- 31:21Speaker 1: the bed. She attempted to stop the unwanted sex, and
- 31:25Speaker 1: Ti and told T I know. Los Angeles police are
- 31:29Speaker 1: investigating her claims. TI and Tiny denied any wrongdoing through
- 31:34Speaker 1: their lawyers, saying, quote, we are confident that if these
- 31:37Speaker 1: claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming.
- 31:41Speaker 1: These allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a
- 31:45Speaker 1: sordid shakedown, and that's been their position all along. This
- 31:50Speaker 1: don't sound good, right, A serious allegations, So this is serious,
- 31:57Speaker 1: This is very serious. So I'm sure authorities will be investigating,
- 32:02Speaker 1: because you can't take these kind of charges lightly. No, no, no,
- 32:08Speaker 1: And then right after them, then get over there to
- 32:11Speaker 1: Congressman Matt Gates too, you know, see what's up with him? Yeah?
- 32:17Speaker 1: I walk up and yes, the one that's got they're
- 32:22Speaker 1: talking about has sexs and trafficking, and that he is
- 32:28Speaker 1: here in real trouble right there, but he hasn't in
- 32:31Speaker 1: charge with anything yet. So yeah, since we're investigating and everything. Yeah,
- 32:36Speaker 1: let's investigate everyone. M hmm. Yeah, but this is serious,
- 32:45Speaker 1: It is really really serious. Yeah. Well let's hope, let's
- 32:49Speaker 1: hope it's all false. Yeah, that's what they're saying. Sort shakedown,
- 32:55Speaker 1: a continuation of a sorted shakedown. No wow, investigation And
- 33:01Speaker 1: like you said, Steve and the victims, they deserve their
- 33:06Speaker 1: voices to be heard and investigation and justice as well too.
- 33:11Speaker 1: And this case is in Los Angeles, by the way,
- 33:13Speaker 1: all right, Steve are going to move on now, ladies
- 33:17Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, thank you, thank you, Good
- 33:20Speaker 1: morning everybody. In North Carolina, Elizabeth City District Attorney Andrew
- 33:23Speaker 1: Wanley says the police involved in the killing of Andrew
- 33:26Speaker 1: Brown Junior will face no charges. Mister Brown's death, while tragic,
- 33:30Speaker 1: was justified because mister Brown's actions caused three deputies with
- 33:34Speaker 1: the Pasquotane County Sheriff's Office to reasonably believe it was
- 33:37Speaker 1: necessary to use deadly force to protect themselves and others. However,
- 33:42Speaker 1: the family points out that the police body camp shows
- 33:44Speaker 1: mister Brown driving away from the cops attempting to arrest
- 33:47Speaker 1: in one a drug warrn't not towards them, and that
- 33:50Speaker 1: an autopsy shows the Andrew Brown, who was unarmed, was
- 33:53Speaker 1: shot execution style in the back of his head, and
- 33:56Speaker 1: they say that pruce Is killing was not justified. Meanwhile,
- 33:59Speaker 1: in Minnesota, Brooklyn Center CEA Council has passed the resolution
- 34:02Speaker 1: design to significantly change that city's policing policies. The measure
- 34:05Speaker 1: replaces cops with unarmed civilians who are trained professionals in
- 34:09Speaker 1: mental health and social work when it comes to minor
- 34:12Speaker 1: minor traffic violations, also for mental health distress calls, with
- 34:16Speaker 1: the aim of cutting down or own arrest and stuff.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Yesterday vote comes a month after a white cop killed
- 34:21Speaker 1: an unarmed twenty year old black man named Dantee Wright
- 34:24Speaker 1: during a traffic stop over just expired tags. The now
- 34:28Speaker 1: former Brooklyn Center cop, Kim Potter, says she meant to
- 34:31Speaker 1: fire her taser, but instead drew her gun and fired repeatedly. Potters,
- 34:35Speaker 1: a twenty six year veteran. She faces manselor to charges
- 34:38Speaker 1: in Dante's death. Dante's a families says, well, why was
- 34:41Speaker 1: he going to be tased anyway for expired tags? Or
- 34:45Speaker 1: was that about? In Arizona Republican party leaders are arguing
- 34:49Speaker 1: with each other over that stage twenty twenty presidential vote recount.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Local Goop officials called the count of sham, saying it's
- 34:55Speaker 1: time for old Republicans to stand up and stop it.
- 34:58Speaker 1: A Democratic member of the Maricope County Board of Supervisor,
- 35:01Speaker 1: Steve Gallardo, says the artists really about a group of
- 35:04Speaker 1: saw losers. The election wasn't in question until a couple
- 35:07Speaker 1: of days after the final vote count. That's when all
- 35:10Speaker 1: of a sudden, WHOA, there might be problem. We don't
- 35:13Speaker 1: like who won the election, So let's call into question.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Let's start rumors and unfounded statements and conspiracies. Meanwhile, a
- 35:22Speaker 1: judge in Michigan dismissed a Trump back lawsuit yesterday designed
- 35:25Speaker 1: to force a recount of last year's election votes in
- 35:27Speaker 1: a certain Michigan county that just as a suit, had
- 35:30Speaker 1: no merit. Sad news, first, Purvis Staple of the famous
- 35:33Speaker 1: Staples Singers has died. He was eighty five years old,
- 35:37Speaker 1: and actress Jessica Walter has passed. And Jessica Walter was
- 35:40Speaker 1: perhaps best known for her part as a Clint Eastwood's
- 35:43Speaker 1: crazy fan in the movie play Misty for me. Get
- 35:49Speaker 1: off my back, Evelyn, Get off my back. Now back
- 35:54Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show. You're listening to Harvey
- 35:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. What is going on? Here we go again yesterday,
- 36:03Speaker 1: the district attorney says in North Carolina, deputies who fatally
- 36:07Speaker 1: shot Andrew Brown Junior were justified and will not be
- 36:12Speaker 1: criminally charged. The State Bureau of Investigation found that Brown
- 36:17Speaker 1: recklessly drove at the officers on the scene while trying
- 36:21Speaker 1: to flee arrest. District Attorney Andrew Womble said mister Brown's death,
- 36:25Speaker 1: while tragic, was justified because mister Brown's actions caused three
- 36:30Speaker 1: deputies to reasonably believe it was necessary to use deadly
- 36:34Speaker 1: force to protect themselves and others. His illegal conclusion was
- 36:39Speaker 1: labeled as an insult to the Brown family, and the
- 36:43Speaker 1: family attorneys, Benjamin Crump and Baccari Sellers issued a statement saying,
- 36:48Speaker 1: in part that the DA tried to whitewash the killing. No,
- 36:53Speaker 1: they executed him. Yeah, of course, it's not unbelievable. Yeah, yeah, right,
- 37:00Speaker 1: but you know it's I mean, you know, we take
- 37:03Speaker 1: a step forward with the George Floyd case and then
- 37:06Speaker 1: we get a reminder. Now, I don't know all of
- 37:10Speaker 1: the particulars, right, and we haven't. But when Baccard, Sellers
- 37:14Speaker 1: and Crump look into something that's something going on, I
- 37:20Speaker 1: just don't understand how they come to the conclusion. Normally,
- 37:26Speaker 1: Normally these things, these investigations take a lot longer. This
- 37:32Speaker 1: one hasn't been long at all for them to release
- 37:35Speaker 1: the tape. Remember, I mean the family only saw twenty
- 37:39Speaker 1: seconds of a first right, Yeah. Then they demanded to
- 37:44Speaker 1: see the entire tape, and then they saw that, and
- 37:48Speaker 1: then now the prosecution yesterday announced this that there to
- 37:52Speaker 1: be no charges against the deputies. I mean, they this
- 37:56Speaker 1: is horrible. They were justified. Yeah. Well, you know a
- 38:00Speaker 1: lot of times, you know, when for a case to
- 38:03Speaker 1: get brought up by the prosecution, they oftentimes work hand
- 38:09Speaker 1: in hand with the detectives and the police because it's hey,
- 38:13Speaker 1: look you don't have enough for a case here you
- 38:15Speaker 1: need more, or look I got this, I need this,
- 38:20Speaker 1: and a lot of times it's hand in hand. So
- 38:23Speaker 1: when you have these buddy system packs in place, it's
- 38:29Speaker 1: hard to get charges brought against an officer. And that's
- 38:34Speaker 1: but here's my on going problem. This never ever happens
- 38:43Speaker 1: to a white person. It always and only happens to
- 38:50Speaker 1: black people. White people flee officers all the time, all
- 38:56Speaker 1: the time, Steve, because all the time ye refused trying
- 39:02Speaker 1: to fight a harror, resisting arrest of it. Get your
- 39:06Speaker 1: hands off me, perfect, You've sol right, Steve, All right,
- 39:13Speaker 1: coming up with thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:16Speaker 1: switch gears for a quick round of ass the CLO
- 39:19Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show all right time
- 39:25Speaker 1: now for as the CLO chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 39:29Speaker 1: in the building. This is from Tony in Pittsburgh. Tony writes,
- 39:33Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that is a cheater, and
- 39:36Speaker 1: he keeps telling me he's going to do better. I
- 39:38Speaker 1: hate that he has female friends because of this. The
- 39:41Speaker 1: last woman he cheated with was a so called friend
- 39:44Speaker 1: of his, and she had been to my house several times.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I am ready to call it quits because he keeps
- 39:50Speaker 1: begging me. But he keeps begging me for a third chance. Yes,
- 39:54Speaker 1: he's cheated three times. He's only twenty nine and I'm
- 39:58Speaker 1: forty years o. So is age a factor in this?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Should I have the three strikes rule for him? Well,
- 40:07Speaker 1: age is a factor. The biggest factor is you don't
- 40:11Speaker 1: get it. That's the biggest factor. He's twenty nine in
- 40:15Speaker 1: you four, You with a man who ain't ready to
- 40:18Speaker 1: settle down, and he wants a third chance and a
- 40:22Speaker 1: fourth chance. He gon want another one, and that ain't
- 40:25Speaker 1: counter chances. You ain't caught, So I mean system once again,
- 40:31Speaker 1: in the words of Judge Lynntoler, she said her grandmother
- 40:36Speaker 1: told her, don't let a man have to tell you
- 40:41Speaker 1: twice he don't want you. Now, he'd have told you
- 40:45Speaker 1: three times. I don't know when you go get it.
- 40:48Speaker 1: Are you that desperate to be in a relationship that
- 40:51Speaker 1: you keep accepting this bad behavior? I mean why you're
- 40:58Speaker 1: not married? Oh yeah they are, man, they're married. They're
- 41:01Speaker 1: married for sure. But you're married to a Cheatah yeah,
- 41:04Speaker 1: you could get unmarried and find date somebody who don't cheat,
- 41:09Speaker 1: and get a more mature man, because this ain't hill
- 41:13Speaker 1: all right. Everybody in the twenties want another chance and
- 41:17Speaker 1: another chance. We got kids in our twenties. They all
- 41:20Speaker 1: want more chances. Absolutely. Gail in Rosemunt, Illinois says, my
- 41:28Speaker 1: sister and her husband came to visit for the weekend.
- 41:31Speaker 1: My husband and I gave them our bedroom and we
- 41:34Speaker 1: slept on the sofa. The first night, I was lying
- 41:37Speaker 1: on the sleeper sofa reading a book and my husband
- 41:39Speaker 1: was sleep. My brother in law got up to go
- 41:42Speaker 1: to the kitchen and all he had on was a rope.
- 41:44Speaker 1: He flashed me as he walked by, and he was naked.
- 41:48Speaker 1: It happened so quick that I froze and didn't know
- 41:50Speaker 1: what to do. The entire way very awkward after that
- 41:56Speaker 1: to tell my husband about this. Wow, okay was it
- 41:59Speaker 1: her her sister? It was her sister and her brother
- 42:04Speaker 1: in law. Yes, well, what you're not gonna do is
- 42:10Speaker 1: in my house be flashing me in disrespecting my husband. Right,
- 42:17Speaker 1: I'm would tell my husband. I tell the husband me personally,
- 42:20Speaker 1: I would right here? Who he thinks? Now this was
- 42:25Speaker 1: her sister's husband. Huh, So you gave him y'all's bed.
- 42:30Speaker 1: What else he wants? Yeah? Now he in here flashing
- 42:34Speaker 1: flash as you got. You gotta go though, Yeah, I
- 42:39Speaker 1: gotta go in the role and we got the master
- 42:42Speaker 1: bearing room. I don't know. Yeah, I gave him my
- 42:45Speaker 1: bear probably her husband role. Y Am, I supposed to
- 42:51Speaker 1: tell my husband about this? Yes you are, says to Clo. Yes, oh, Steve,
- 42:56Speaker 1: you said tell her, tell the husband. Yeah, yeah, go
- 43:01Speaker 1: to your sister. I'll go to your sister, asked him
- 43:05Speaker 1: to leave, and then tell your husband, and then tell
- 43:08Speaker 1: your husband. Now he's gonna go stead because what they
- 43:12Speaker 1: do is flash my wife in my bed though probably
- 43:15Speaker 1: got my robe on too. That's what tell me, all right,
- 43:21Speaker 1: here we go, marry you even got no money from
- 43:23Speaker 1: no days. Rode, thirty four year old divorced woman. I
- 43:28Speaker 1: have a son in the third grade, I'm dating a teacher,
- 43:30Speaker 1: and people in the town to found out my divorce
- 43:33Speaker 1: was final in March, but it's not public knowledge or
- 43:35Speaker 1: anyone's business. A few of the other class moms have
- 43:38Speaker 1: shunned me, and when I was at the May Day
- 43:41Speaker 1: program there were they were downright nasty. Is it my
- 43:43Speaker 1: place to let them know I'm divorced and clear my name?
- 43:45Speaker 1: Or do I tell them all to go to hell? Well,
- 43:49Speaker 1: just so you know, I'm divorced and I'm dating a teacher.
- 43:56Speaker 1: What's y'all's problem with that? Unless they all would like
- 43:58Speaker 1: to teach a teacher? Most be handsome. So a bunch
- 44:03Speaker 1: of bitter healthus bitter old biddies like yesterday's strawberry letter
- 44:09Speaker 1: coming up next, Thank you, Cello. The nephew is here
- 44:13Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. Right after this you're listening
- 44:17Speaker 1: to coming up at the top of the hour, right
- 44:22Speaker 1: about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:26Speaker 1: The subject is girlfriend, fiance and side chick. We'll get
- 44:30Speaker 1: into that a little later, but right now, the nephew
- 44:32Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call, which you got
- 44:35Speaker 1: neaf where you know, it's time to do a little exercise,
- 44:42Speaker 1: and I think it's it's a wonderful time to do
- 44:45Speaker 1: some naked yoga. What's y'all? What? No time? Y'all? Don't

- 45:13Speaker 1: me let me turn down the TVD you call them
- 45:15Speaker 1: about the apartment. Yes, yes, I was trying to see
- 45:18Speaker 1: about maybe coming over to take a look at it,
- 45:20Speaker 1: or and seeing if it's still available. Man, I got
- 45:24Speaker 1: a newspaper, but I didn't know if this is still
- 45:25Speaker 1: available or what no, no, no still for rent. Um,
- 45:28Speaker 1: let me be straight with you. Um uh you know,
- 45:31Speaker 1: no pets and uh no no smoking of any kind.
- 45:36Speaker 1: No no, I understand okay, if I'm understanding the listening here,
- 45:39Speaker 1: it's like eight hundred fifty dollars a month, right, fifty
- 45:41Speaker 1: and you got a parking spot, um your private bathroom
- 45:44Speaker 1: with a shower and uh a fifty I'm gonna need
- 45:47Speaker 1: first last month and uh really, um let what what's
- 45:52Speaker 1: your name? My name is Darnell? Okay first um so yeah, um,
- 45:58Speaker 1: first last month and so security number. I can do
- 46:01Speaker 1: a background chet. Okay, okay, Now let me ask you this.
- 46:05Speaker 1: You guys got out like a back backyard area. I
- 46:08Speaker 1: teach classes in the mornings, and I want to know
- 46:10Speaker 1: if you have that that that's pretty much what will
- 46:12Speaker 1: kind of locked me in if you gotta If you
- 46:14Speaker 1: guys got a backyard that I can use, We got
- 46:16Speaker 1: a backyard? What do you teach? I teach yoga. I
- 46:19Speaker 1: teach yoga in the mornings from from six to eight.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Hopefully I won't be a problem. You make make money
- 46:23Speaker 1: when yoga? Yes, sir, I definitely do. I make enough,
- 46:26Speaker 1: definitely to cover the red that's for sure. Dad shouldn't
- 46:29Speaker 1: be a problem. I know, I know a little bit
- 46:31Speaker 1: about yoga. That's that. I mean, really, if it's y'all,
- 46:33Speaker 1: you know you're not making no noise as yoga, that's
- 46:35Speaker 1: that's not a problem. A good deal. Well, how quick
- 46:37Speaker 1: can I actually get moved in? Man? I'm trying to
- 46:39Speaker 1: get something. I just moved in from the from the
- 46:41Speaker 1: East Coast. I jumped on my yoga pretty quick, and
- 46:44Speaker 1: I got a quite a bit of clientele built up,
- 46:46Speaker 1: and you know, I'm just just ready to get started,
- 46:49Speaker 1: get moved in man, something that I can actually call home,
- 46:51Speaker 1: you know. Uh yeah, well you know we're looking at rent,
- 46:54Speaker 1: rent it out pretty quick, you know, because we want
- 46:56Speaker 1: to try and get it filled as soon as possible.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Because if you said, we are you you you got
- 47:00Speaker 1: a roommate, you're you're man, it would be me and
- 47:04Speaker 1: my wife and uh it's a three bedroom home. You
- 47:07Speaker 1: would have the room in the back with the bathroom
- 47:09Speaker 1: and uh yeah, like a fifty to do a credit check,
- 47:12Speaker 1: you know, we meet, Um, I can do the background
- 47:15Speaker 1: check and uh no, no no check? What what what? What? What? What? What?
- 47:19Speaker 1: What do you necessarily need to do that? For? Well,
- 47:21Speaker 1: you gotta know who you're into. And then you want
- 47:23Speaker 1: to know what the credit they got, so if they
- 47:24Speaker 1: can afford the rent or not. You know, I got
- 47:26Speaker 1: I got real good credit. Man. My credit is fine.
- 47:28Speaker 1: I'm not I'm actually eight hundreds on my on my
- 47:30Speaker 1: credit scores. Oh damn. All right when you get here
- 47:33Speaker 1: is how you feel that application. But you know, if
- 47:36Speaker 1: you if you're ready to get it cracking, I can do.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I can do a background check, and you right not
- 47:39Speaker 1: just give me a SOB security number, okay, but let
- 47:42Speaker 1: me let me go ahead and just do this. Man
- 47:43Speaker 1: on that background check, because you know that what I
- 47:46Speaker 1: want to say about that is this, it might be
- 47:48Speaker 1: something there about like when I was on the East Coast.
- 47:51Speaker 1: You know, I was actually teaching uh, naked yoga. You
- 47:54Speaker 1: know what I mean, naked yo. Uh. You know you
- 47:57Speaker 1: may see something on there about me being a nipple
- 48:00Speaker 1: o naked yoga yo. See, that's what us kind of
- 48:03Speaker 1: yoga I was teaching on the East Coast was naked yoga.
- 48:05Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. And everybody with my tea
- 48:06Speaker 1: naga yoga. Here we see it's in the backyard, it's
- 48:09Speaker 1: closed in you know, in the my backyard and you
- 48:12Speaker 1: what what what other glitz you got? You said, just
- 48:14Speaker 1: some glitches, Michael, Well, what are the glitz you got?
- 48:16Speaker 1: Well you might see that I'm in the Farmania. But see,
- 48:19Speaker 1: but see, I took some I took commend for what
- 48:22Speaker 1: I took counseling for that, though, what do you need
- 48:24Speaker 1: to take some counseling over somewhere else? You ain't taking
- 48:27Speaker 1: no counseling and doing no uh naked yoga in my backyard. No, man,
- 48:31Speaker 1: all that's behind me now, that's on the east coast.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Man that that's that's all behind me. Now I didn't
- 48:35Speaker 1: put that thing down. Man, I don't care if it's
- 48:37Speaker 1: behind you, front of you, on the side. You're doing
- 48:38Speaker 1: some naked yoga in my backyard. That ain't happening, man,
- 48:41Speaker 1: a matter of fact. Man, hey, man, listen, that's got
- 48:44Speaker 1: all your lichens that qualified and move in there. And
- 48:46Speaker 1: now you're gonna sit here and tell me I can't
- 48:48Speaker 1: tell about doing some naked yoga in my backyard with

- 53:55Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Subject girlfriend fiance say
- 54:00Speaker 1: inside chick. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a twenty nine year
- 54:04Speaker 1: old single female and I'm in love with a man
- 54:07Speaker 1: that I can't have. We started out as friends ten
- 54:10Speaker 1: years ago, and one thing led to another and we
- 54:13Speaker 1: made love. I must have the magic touch, because he
- 54:16Speaker 1: was stuck like glue to me. After that, I moved
- 54:20Speaker 1: to another city, and before I left, he asked if
- 54:22Speaker 1: I would be his girlfriend. He came to visit me
- 54:25Speaker 1: every weekend, so I never in a million years would
- 54:28Speaker 1: think he was cheating on me. I went back to
- 54:31Speaker 1: my hometown to visit my family, and I stayed at
- 54:34Speaker 1: his apartment. On his couch, I found a few long
- 54:38Speaker 1: strands of hairweed and there was a tube of eyelash
- 54:42Speaker 1: glue in his kitchen junk drawer. I didn't mention it
- 54:46Speaker 1: to him. I went to stay at my mom's house instead,
- 54:49Speaker 1: and I ignored him the rest of the weekend. When
- 54:52Speaker 1: I got back to my city, I asked him if
- 54:54Speaker 1: he cheated on me, and he confessed to having a
- 54:57Speaker 1: girl at his place, but nothing happened. He said she
- 55:01Speaker 1: knows about me, and I told him I needed some
- 55:04Speaker 1: time to think about everything because I didn't believe him.
- 55:07Speaker 1: A monk went by without us being together, and I
- 55:10Speaker 1: did go on a date with someone else, but it
- 55:12Speaker 1: only made me realize how much I loved my boyfriend.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I called my boyfriend and asked him to come see me.
- 55:20Speaker 1: He came the next day since it's only an hour's drive.
- 55:23Speaker 1: He bought me a big, beautiful diamond, and he asked
- 55:26Speaker 1: me to marry him. I said yes. Fast forward to
- 55:30Speaker 1: present day, which is three months after he proposed. I
- 55:33Speaker 1: got a call from a woman that said she's been
- 55:36Speaker 1: with this man for two years and I've always been
- 55:40Speaker 1: the side chick. She was on speakerphone and he was there,
- 55:45Speaker 1: but he did not open his mouth. He won't talk
- 55:48Speaker 1: to me at all. Now, how could did he pull
- 55:54Speaker 1: all of this off without me knowing it? How could
- 55:57Speaker 1: he do this? I just want closure. Okay, Yeah, this
- 56:02Speaker 1: letter is crazy right here, but but this isn't hard
- 56:05Speaker 1: because everything you need for closure is right here in
- 56:08Speaker 1: this letter. You started out as a girlfriend, then he
- 56:11Speaker 1: came to see you on the weekends after you moved
- 56:13Speaker 1: out of town. You know you fell in love with him.
- 56:18Speaker 1: Did he fall in love with you? Nowhere in your
- 56:20Speaker 1: letter did you say that. Did you ever question where
- 56:22Speaker 1: he was during the week Did you ask any questions
- 56:26Speaker 1: about anything concerning him? It doesn't sound like you did,
- 56:30Speaker 1: because from the sound of your letter, he was just
- 56:33Speaker 1: a weekend boyfriend. Then you found evidence of another woman
- 56:37Speaker 1: at his house, and instead of asking him about it,
- 56:40Speaker 1: you ghosted him and waited until you got home to
- 56:43Speaker 1: check him. You didn't believe him, but you still accepted
- 56:47Speaker 1: his proposal of marriage when you called and asked him
- 56:50Speaker 1: to come and see you. And like you say, fast
- 56:53Speaker 1: forward to three months later, which is now, and here's
- 56:57Speaker 1: this woman calling you saying she's been with him for
- 57:00Speaker 1: two years and you're the side chick and always have
- 57:03Speaker 1: been the side chick. What. Meanwhile, he's in the background,
- 57:07Speaker 1: quiet as a church mouse, not saying anything, And you
- 57:11Speaker 1: ask how did he pull this off without you knowing?
- 57:13Speaker 1: Because it sounds like you just accepted whatever he told
- 57:17Speaker 1: you whenever he came by. You never asked him anything
- 57:20Speaker 1: about himself. Where was he going? You know, he could
- 57:24Speaker 1: have he told you anything and you just accepted it.
- 57:27Speaker 1: However he dished it out. That's how you took it,
- 57:29Speaker 1: no questions asked. Your letter is aptly titled girlfriend fiance
- 57:34Speaker 1: side chick because sorry to say, you had all those
- 57:36Speaker 1: roles in this relationship, you just didn't know it at
- 57:39Speaker 1: the time. Make sure that you don't get caught up
- 57:44Speaker 1: like this with another man. Okay, you got to find
- 57:47Speaker 1: out stuff, what they do, if he's with someone, if
- 57:50Speaker 1: he's married. Any baby mamas, do some digging, ask some questions, investigate.
- 57:55Speaker 1: That's how you find out. Steve, Well, I think have
- 58:00Speaker 1: all been avoided. But here we go a couple of things.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna stick my chest out a little bit on
- 58:05Speaker 1: this letter, cause here we go some things I've been
- 58:08Speaker 1: accused of. Here we go, twenty nine year old single female.
- 58:13Speaker 1: I'm in love with a man that I can't have.
- 58:17Speaker 1: Here we go. We started out as friends ten years ago.
- 58:23Speaker 1: One thing led to another and we made love. How
- 58:28Speaker 1: is it that friends, y'all friends now ended up making love.
- 58:37Speaker 1: I hadn't told y'all your ass can't be friends. A
- 58:42Speaker 1: man is incapable of being a friend with a woman
- 58:46Speaker 1: he's attracted to. I'd have told you that now you
- 58:49Speaker 1: can be friends, but it will not stay that way.
- 58:53Speaker 1: If the opportunity presents itself, get aloan somewhere and be
- 58:57Speaker 1: talking a couple of glasses of wine. It can't stay
- 59:00Speaker 1: that way. I've told y'all over and over. Now y'all
- 59:03Speaker 1: go online and talk about uncle Steve like he old
- 59:06Speaker 1: fashioned and stupid. I may be old fashioned, but I
- 59:09Speaker 1: ain't as stupid though. I might be old fashioned, but
- 59:16Speaker 1: I ain't stupid though. I'm a real smart dude. And
- 59:19Speaker 1: you listening to these dudes online talking about Steve don't
- 59:22Speaker 1: know what he's talking about. You can have a girl
- 59:24Speaker 1: that's your friend. Show me, show me how that works.
- 59:28Speaker 1: So now here we go, you friends. Now all of
- 59:31Speaker 1: a sudden, y'all love us? Oh okay, now y'all made love.
- 59:38Speaker 1: And I must have a magic touch because he stuck
- 59:40Speaker 1: on me like glue afterwards and asked me to be
- 59:43Speaker 1: his girlfriend. That don't mean you have a magic touch,
- 59:47Speaker 1: do you think so? Oh? But if you want credit,
- 59:51Speaker 1: all right, you can hand the magic magic touch. Man.
- 59:54Speaker 1: He might uh fifty cents say he got a magic stick.
- 59:58Speaker 1: He could have a magic stick because you did say
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you be his girlfriend. So everybody in the relationship got
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: a magic show. We'll come back everywhere. I'm gonna tell
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: you what else has happened to your sister. All right,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's subject is girlfriend,
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: fiance and side check. We'll get back into the Strawberry
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: letter right after this. You're listening to show, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letter subject girlfriend fiance and side check.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Here this twenty nine year old girl was friends with
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: a man started out as friends ten years ago, which
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: one skin skin just provels, proves what I've been saying
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: everybody online. Want to beat the old uncle Steve. Like
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I said before, you know, he old fashioned and stupid. No, no, no,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I may be old fashioned, but I'm a far stretch
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: and a long way away from stupid. I can promise
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: you I'm not stupid, ain't ever been stupid. So now
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: here we go. Oh they're friends now Now she thinks
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: she got the magic to us because he sprung on
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: her and ask him to be a girlfriend. Uh. Then
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you moved to another city. But before you left, he
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: asked you to be his girlfriend. Okay, that ain't nothing.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: He came to visit me every weekend, so I never
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: in a million years would think he was cheating on me.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Can't to visit you every weekend, that's two days. It's
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: five days on accounting for you got to to somebody.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: You don't think nobody else got to getting them five
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: He just waiting on the weekend. Oh I forgot, that's right,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you got the magic touch. My bad, My bad. Anyway, Uh,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I went back to your hometown to visit your family,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and you stayed at his apartment on his couch. I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: found a few strands of hair weed and that was
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: a two but ee lass glue in his kitchen. Junk
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: junk drawer. Now, when stuff gets in the junk drawer,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: it's because it's got brushed in that one. Everybody got
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: a drunk drawer when you grab stuff right quick and
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: throw it in there. You threw that in there because
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: you was coming to town. They couldn't get the we've
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: do with just something there. We don't do cracks real good.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So we've have gonna know what to do. Start checking crack.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: We're gonna do cracks good, and so I didn't mention
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: it to him when you found this eyeglass glue, I
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: would stay at my mom's house instead, and I ignored
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: him the rest of the weekend. When I got back
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: to your city, I asking me to ever cheated on me, now,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: listen to this. He confessed to having a girl at
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: his place, but nothing happened. The reason he confessed is
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: because he don't know the information you have. So, yeah,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I had a girl over my house, but it ain't
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: nothing happened. See But the only reason he admitted that
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: was because he don't know what information you have. But
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: since you was at the apartment and then started ghosten,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: he met your mama's house, he knows something is up,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: he said. Not so now he confessed having the girls
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: in his place with nothing help he said. He said
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: she knows about me, and I told him I needed
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: some time to think about everything because of you know,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I don't believe him. While a month with mine without
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: us being together, and I went on date with somebody
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: else but only made me realize how much I love
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: my boyfriend. I called my boyfriend and asked him to
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: come see me. He came the next day, since it's
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: only an hour's drive. He bought me a big, beautiful diamond.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: He asked me to marry him. I said yes. Fast
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: forward to present day and he wasn't what the whole
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: letter is about, which is three months later after the proposal,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I got a call from a woman that said she's
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: been with my man for two years and I've always
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: been the side chick. She was on speaker phone, and
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: he was there, but he did not open his mouth. Okay,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: so I got to think and how did this happened. Well,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I'll tell you how it happened. She busted him with
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: your number in his phone. She got his phone and
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: called you from his phone and put it on the
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: speaker that that's why he in the background ain't saying nothing,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: because I've been in that spot before. I just went home.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: I was eighteen. Get in your car and drive off.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: I had to get on the bike and ride off,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: but left. Now you got this call from this woman
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: saying she'd been with this man for two years and
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I've always been the side chick. She was on speaker phone.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: He was there, but he did not open his mouth.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: He won't talk to me at all now, Well, because
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: he busted Gig, he got to stay with his girl
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: he'd been with for two years. How could and did
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: he pull all this off with out me North? Because
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: Shirley said you didn't do your research. And in this
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: day in time, y'all got too many items at your fingertip. Facebook,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: you can Facebook, anybody, follow their Instagram, get on social
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: media Google, you can start looking up information. You can
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: tract air friends on Facebook. You could do some research.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: It all comes back, all these likes and stuff like
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: that for forensic science. It's all it too. And you
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: wouldn't even be in this and you twenty nine, I
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: know you text have it. You could do this. So ladies,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: all of you have the ability to explore and research
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: handle your business. Right, whether you have an England about
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: the man or not, you should know who you're dating, right.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: I just want closure. Men don't do closure. He would
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: have woman? How did he pull all this off? Because
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you was gullible? You thought them two days was good enough.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: You ain't ask nothing about the five days. You just
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: assume in a million years he would never cheat on you.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Why because you thought you had the magic touch. You're
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: the only one got the magic touch. Everybody's heatable get
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: the ring appraised and sell it. That's that's real. If
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: it's work, not all right? Thank you, Steve. Poster comments

- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Junior with Sports Talk. What you got Junior? Okay, Shirley, Timmy.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: It happened every year at the end of the NBAC,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: same discussion happened. It comes up every year at the barbershop.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'm sick of this dude at the barbershop, the MVP.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Who should be the MVP of the NBA this season?
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: In anybody? That's what I said. That's what I said,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: because he had a hell of the season. Let me
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: just bring the stat line for you. Thirty two points
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: a game, five point five rebounds, five point eight a sist.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: He's the highest scoring. He gonna fourth floor. He won
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: his second scoring title. But he's the highest scorer since
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Michael Jordan hands down. Now, why do you tell me
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: that you think somebody we didn't even know what's gonna
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: be MVP? Who he talking about? Somebody I don't even
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: know he even watched. But why as you talking about
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Kevin Durant need to be the MVP for what he
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: was out? Yeah, I don't say Kyle ree befo him.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: He said there's more important things in basketball. You know,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: he used to convert the Muslim now and now he
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: would he talking about the Palestinian thing over there. My
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: people died. I was just sitting there looking at him, going, man, okay,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: well like I got you I feel for you know,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: like that Black Lives Matter over here got me a
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: little tied up right now. So yeah, yeah, yeah, boy
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: right there. But is it the most? Is it the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: record of the team and the player on it, or
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: that the person that means the most to the team
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: were determined? We should say with termines the MVP. Who's
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: having the season right now? That's showing out. It's Steph
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Curry period. Lebron been out. Lebron ad been out. Yeah,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: there's a lot of people been just sitting on the sideline,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Steph Curry being straight clowning, and you know who that's who?
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Lebron and John Moran, they both they both endorsed Steph
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Curry for that. Hey man, Now did all the bron
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Did the Lakers win that last game? Junior? A right? Uncle? Well,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: actually the Lakers and Awards play tonight. Okay, Well that's
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: for the playing and they're playing against Golden State. Yeah,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: so we're gonna find that now if Stephi win this
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: game to night, he got the bed VP. Who's playing though,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Junior is a D and Lebron gonna play? Yes, everybody,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: all hands, Golden State ain't gonna win this game. Just
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: did all that? Steph Curry didn't go cry all the
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: way up down? I ain't saying, oh Steph gonna cloud
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Steph gonna have thirty five points? Okay? They got nobody stopping?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: All right, Junior and Steve coming up at the top
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll tell you about the flaming Hot
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Cheetos drama surrounding flaming Hot Cheetos. We'll tell you about
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, all right, So
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: for a decade, guys, former Friedo Lay employee, Richard Montenez
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: has told the story of inventing flaming hot Cheetos while
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: working as a janitor for the company. A biopic about
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: his life is even set to be turned into a
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: movie soon and directed by Texas native and actress Eva
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: longoriav There's just one problem, Friedo Lay says the story
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: isn't true. Montenez has tens of thousands of dollars. He's
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: made that much money in speaking fees for appearances at
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: major retail events and large universities where he shared his story. Now,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: according to the Los Angeles Times, per his own story,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Montenas pitched the CEO of Friedo Lay on the concept
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: for Friedo Hot Cheetos for flaming hot Cheetos while working
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: as a janitor for the company in a facility in
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Rancho Cucamonga, which is a suburb in California in Los Angeles.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: In the statement, Frido Lay told the publication that the
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: facts do not support the urban legend, and a former
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: employee for Frito Lay's corporate office in Plano by the
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: name of Lynn Greenfeld is responsible for developing uh Flaming
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: hot Cheetos. Okay, m So this man is just out
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: here collecting money, and you just you ain't got the
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: lie Craig about Yeah, a lot of him. Yeah, you
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: know when I invented flaming cheetos as a janitor? What
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: good story though? Ye, it's a great story, right. What'd
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: you say, Junior? What? Oh? No, it's a true story
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: to him. Oh story. He all flaming flaming kids, you know,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: all the teenagers, all the kids. They love them. Yet,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: all the kids, all the Fatasha's friends when they come over,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: that's it, that's what they like. What's your favorite? What's
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: your favorite? Uh snack or chip? What do you like? Cream?
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Lake chip? Dude, a team chip? What do you like? Steve?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I like ice cream, don't like chips. We're talking ship chips.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: I don't care about chicks. You was named tator chip.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: That you didn't eat them? That affected you? Oh because
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: your nickname you called tater chill. Why would I want
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: to eat? No? But yeah, I mean I just not
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: never really been a big potato chip eating guy. If
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I had to eat them, I don't know salty vinegar,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: but I don't investetator chips. I ever had was wise out?
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: Oh is that a local? Yeah? That wise you gotta
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: be a countortable to know about the wise apotator. Chip.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I just know about y'all. Don't know nothing about that.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: In country, you do what you did, Like portskins going on. Now,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: they always got caught in my chest, and now I
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: was always running eating them. Now I was a little
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: more stupid on a bike, get a handful of postings,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: chewing swallow and get caught in your chest. But damn
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: they have a heart attack at nine. I wasn't a
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: heart attack. Yeah, yeah, I'm just taking it down my snack.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: We just lost it. Don't eat potted meeting no more.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Then gave up spam. You know, I've cut a lot
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: of stuff loose, you know, and used to mean stuff
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: to me good and plenty. Wasn't more of a damn.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I stopped in at football, sitting up there on the
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: plane with just black stuff running down the corner of
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: my mouth because I couldn't even shoot the stuff just
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: taking you through some things I'm going through. That's all
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: damn either. Clearly I can tell you that Mary Jane
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: ain't what he used to be. That's a little bitty
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: piece account. It ain't nothing in the middle of it. No,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: damn more used to could eat that to it got
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: to the peanut butter middle nine. Ain't nothing, know what
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that is in the middle, Just a little colonel and
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: nut sawdust in the middle of your Mary Jane. It
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: ain't nothing nor more. Steve's mad at his snacks ever
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: asking him about snacks. I tell you what. The whoppers
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: is still good though. That coming the milk carton that
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: came on? Who oh you mean back kind of candy?
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: All right, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show twenty minutes after. Right after this, you
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: have a skin, Steve, you're listening to morning show. Being
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: called to the side for an additional security screening is aggravating.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: We all know that, but a potential new part of
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the boarding process for airlines could be even more stressful.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: That's because FAA is considering weighing passengers before they board
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: a flight to make sure the plane isn't overloaded. And yes,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: it's mainly due to the increase in obesity in America.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: The last data reported by the CDC says the obesity
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: rate in the US is roughly forty two point four percent.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: That was as of twenty eighteen, and the FAA says
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: their weight estimates are outdated. The good news is a
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: passenger could refuse to be weighed, and no word on
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: when this could go into effect. These are just some
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: things they're thinking about and tossing around. They might as
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: well not even put that scale in there. If you
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: got the option to getting weigh You know what, if anybody,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: anybody you ever side in the middle between two big people,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: you have to side in the middle. Yeah, long Ida
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: and her arm was on top, Mom, she was sweating.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: My whole sleeve. Would dog have them all had on
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: a blue shirt and my left arm wouldnay today plane
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: that breathe real hard? Yes, yeah, yeah, all right. We'll
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: you're listening to what is going on? Here we go
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: again yesterday, the district attorney says. In North Carolina, deputies
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: who fatally shot Andrew Brown Junior were justified and will
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: not be criminally charged. The State Bureau of Investigation found
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: that Brown recklessly drove at the officers on the scene
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: while trying to flee arrest. District Attorney Andrew Womble said
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: mister Brown's death, while tragic, was justified because mister B's
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: actions caused three deputies to reasonably believe it was necessary
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to use deadly force to protect themselves and others. His
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: illegal conclusion was labeled as an insult to the Brown family,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: and the family attorneys Benjamin Crump and McCary Sellers issued
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: a statement saying in part that the DA tried to
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: whitewash the killing. No, they executed him. Yeah, of course
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: it's not unbelievable, yeah yet, right, but you know it's
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: I mean, you know, we take a step forward with
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: the George Floyd case and then we get a reminder.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Now I don't know all of the particulars, right, and
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: we haven't, but Whencari Sellers and Crump look into something
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: that's something going on, I just don't understand how they
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: come to the conclusion. Normally, normally these things, these investigations
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: take a lot longer. This one hasn't been long at
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: all for them to release the tape. Remember, I mean
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: it took family say seconds of first, right, yeah, then
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: they demanded to see the entire tape, and then they
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: saw that and then now the prosecution yesterday announced this
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: that there would be no charges against the deputies. I
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: mean they this is horrible, were justified. Yeah, well, you
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: know a lot of times, you know, when for a
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: case to get brought up by the prosecution, they oftentimes
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: work hand in hand with the detectives and the police,
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: right because it's hey, look you don't have enough for
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: a case here you need more, or ain't look I
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: got this, I need this, And a lot of times
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: it's hand in hand. So when you have these buddy
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: system packs in place, it's hard to get charges brought
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: agains an officer. And that's but here's my own going problem. Okay,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: this never ever happens to a white person. It always
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: and only happens to black people, white people. Fleet officers
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: all the time, all the time, Steve, because all the
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: time ye refused, try to fight a hard resisting arrest,
