- 0:23Speaker 1: and every episode that we record, so you can watch
- 0:25Speaker 1: it and makes you subscribe on the YouTube channel as well. Senator,
- 0:28Speaker 1: We've got a lot to talk about, including the Supreme
- 0:31Speaker 1: Court on Wednesday, in a pretty significant ruling six to three.
- 0:35Speaker 1: It made liberals heads explode. The Louisiana twenty twenty four
- 0:39Speaker 1: congressional map, it was redrawn to create a second majority
- 0:44Speaker 1: black district, constituted an illegal racial jerry mander. That is
- 0:49Speaker 1: what they've decided. And of course the left is furious
- 0:51Speaker 1: right now for this, saying that this is racism. Run
- 0:54Speaker 1: them up. The Supreme Court's illegitimate. I guess we should
- 0:57Speaker 1: now pack the court again as soon as they get
- 0:58Speaker 1: back in power, right, because that's what they're pointing on
- 1:00Speaker 1: doing anyway.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Well, the Spring Court's decision this week outlawing racial gerrymandering
- 1:08Speaker 2: was a landmark decision. It was incredibly important. For decades,
- 1:12Speaker 2: there has been a practice of drawing congressional districts based
- 1:16Speaker 2: on race, deliberately segregating people based on whether they're African
- 1:20Speaker 2: American or white or Hispanic, and putting them into districts
- 1:24Speaker 2: segregated based on race. The Constitution prohibits discrimination based on race,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and the Supreme Court today, in a landmark decision, said
- 1:33Speaker 2: this racial gerrymandering has to stop. As you noted, the
- 1:36Speaker 2: Democrats are losing their mind over this because THEIRS is
- 1:39Speaker 2: a party that is built on racial discrimination. And indeed,
- 1:44Speaker 2: the fact that they are competitive, they are close to
- 1:47Speaker 2: having a majority in the House of Representatives, is driven
- 1:52Speaker 2: in a big part by their blatant jerrymandering, both political
- 1:55Speaker 2: gerrymandering and racial gerry mannering. We're going to break down
- 1:58Speaker 2: what that decision means, what precisely the Court held, and
- 2:02Speaker 2: and why it was correct. We're also going to talk
- 2:05Speaker 2: about an amazing thing that happened this week in Maine.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Uh the incumbent Democrat governor of Maine, Janet Mills, was
- 2:12Speaker 2: running for Senate and she dropped out. She dropped out
- 2:17Speaker 2: because in today's Democrat Party she was not nearly crazy
- 2:22Speaker 2: enough to win a primary. Instead, the Democrats want a
- 2:28Speaker 2: self declared communist with a Nazi tattoo. That is now
- 2:33Speaker 2: the beating heart of the Democrat Party. We're going to
- 2:36Speaker 2: talk about that and what that means for the country.
- 2:38Speaker 2: And finally we're going to talk about DEI programs run
- 2:41Speaker 2: amock in homeless services and Portland, Oregon giving special priority
- 2:48Speaker 2: if you happen to be LGBT if you have services,
- 2:55Speaker 2: you know, if you're just some poor white schlub who's
- 2:58Speaker 2: starving it out on the street, Nope, you rank last
- 3:03Speaker 2: in the less hierarchy of who deserves care. We're going
- 3:07Speaker 2: to give you the facts and bring the receipts on
- 3:09Speaker 2: that one as well.
- 3:10Speaker 1: It's like a PSA if your home was tell them
- 3:12Speaker 1: you're the opposite sex of what you are, you'll get
- 3:14Speaker 1: fed really well and gets some great benefits in the
- 3:17Speaker 1: Liverpool cities.
- 3:18Speaker 2: It's truly, ben How is that not a joke? Like
- 3:21Speaker 2: what you just said there is actually accurate and it's
- 3:26Speaker 2: so insane that a normal rational person listening to it
- 3:30Speaker 2: must be saying that makes no sense. That's the reality
- 3:33Speaker 2: we're living in.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And we're going to break it down an amazing story
- 3:37Speaker 1: when I also talk to you about an awesome company.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And if you've got a cell phone, just listen to
- 3:43Speaker 1: me for a minute, because you can have a big
- 3:45Speaker 1: impact with every phone call you make, with every text
- 3:48Speaker 1: message you send for conservative values that you believe in.
- 3:51Speaker 1: And there's a company that got started over a decade
- 3:54Speaker 1: ago called Patriot Mobile. America is entering the two hundred
- 3:58Speaker 1: and fiftieth year and the direction of this country is
- 4:01Speaker 1: being decided right now in our culture and our economy,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and who we choose is support matters more than ever.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Most wireless companies don't care who you are or what
- 4:12Speaker 1: you believe. They just want your money. Patriot Mobile they're different.
- 4:16Speaker 1: For more than twelve years, they've stood with Americans who
- 4:19Speaker 1: believe freedom is worth defending, funding the Christian conservative movement
- 4:24Speaker 1: when others stay silent. That's what they do. So here's
- 4:28Speaker 1: the deal. You don't have to give up quality or
- 4:30Speaker 1: service when you switch to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium
- 4:34Speaker 1: priority access on all three major US networks, so you'll
- 4:39Speaker 1: get the same or better coverage than you have today.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Think switching as a hassle, It isn't anymore.
- 4:45Speaker 2: In twenty twenty six.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You keep your number, keep your phone, or upgrade, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: their one hundred percent US based support team can activate
- 4:53Speaker 1: you in minutes, still paying off a device. Patriot Mobile
- 4:57Speaker 1: even offers a contract buyout. This this is a defining year.
- 5:01Speaker 1: We must work together to save our country. So go
- 5:05Speaker 1: to Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict and you are going
- 5:09Speaker 1: to get a free month of service with a promo
- 5:12Speaker 1: code vertict. Or you can call them nine to seven
- 5:15Speaker 1: to two Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot nine
- 5:21Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. Or call them and go online
- 5:24Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict promo code vertict
- 5:29Speaker 1: for a free month of service. Make the switch and
- 5:31Speaker 1: make a difference every time you pay your bill. All right,
- 5:34Speaker 1: So let's get back to this Louisiana ruling. You've got
- 5:37Speaker 1: a lot to say on this, and you broke it
- 5:40Speaker 1: down a little bit in the intro there, But I
- 5:41Speaker 1: want people to understand the core of this case, how
- 5:44Speaker 1: it got all the way to Supreme Court. So can
- 5:46Speaker 1: you kind of give it just a synopsis of what
- 5:48Speaker 1: got us there so quickly.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So I can, but let me step back for a minute,
- 5:52Speaker 2: let me give a little broader context. So two decades ago, uh,
- 5:57Speaker 2: in two thousand and three, I started as the Solicitor
- 6:00Speaker 2: General of Texas, which is the chief lawyer for the
- 6:03Speaker 2: state in front of the US Supreme Court. Two thousand
- 6:06Speaker 2: and three was the first time Republicans had won a
- 6:08Speaker 2: majority in the House of Representatives in decades, and so
- 6:11Speaker 2: we now had a majority in both the House and
- 6:15Speaker 2: the Senate. At the state legislature, and so Texas redistricted
- 6:19Speaker 2: in two thousand and three. It was a mid decade
- 6:21Speaker 2: redistricting at the time that had not been done very often.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And they did it because Texas at the time in
- 6:28Speaker 2: two thousand and three, Republicans were winning a significant majority
- 6:33Speaker 2: of the statewide vote, and yet the congressional delegation was
- 6:38Speaker 2: majority Democrat. It was the most egregious partisan de partisan
- 6:43Speaker 2: gerrymander in the country. The Democrats had drawn it to
- 6:46Speaker 2: elect Democrats even though the voters were voting for the
- 6:51Speaker 2: opposite party, and so the state legislature came in redrew
- 6:55Speaker 2: the map. The result of it was it elected five
- 6:57Speaker 2: additional Republicans. But I was the lawyer who was charged
- 7:02Speaker 2: with day one number one, with advising the legislature while
- 7:06Speaker 2: they were drawing the map. Number two with defending the
- 7:09Speaker 2: map in the federal District court when the Democrat playtiffs
- 7:13Speaker 2: challenged it. And then number three I argued the case
- 7:16Speaker 2: before the US Supreme Court defending the map and ended
- 7:19Speaker 2: up winning a landmark five to four decision upholding that map.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And so there was a good two years of my
- 7:27Speaker 2: life when I lived in the world of redistricting. And
- 7:29Speaker 2: I got to tell you, Ben, the case law at
- 7:32Speaker 2: the time was so convoluted and internally contradictory that it
- 7:38Speaker 2: made no sense. So on one hand, the Supreme Court
- 7:42Speaker 2: had said for a long time the Fourth Amendment, the
- 7:44Speaker 2: protection of equal protection under the Laws, and the Fifteenth Amendment,
- 7:48Speaker 2: the protection that no one shall be denied the right
- 7:51Speaker 2: to vote based on race, that that prohibited racial gerrymandering,
- 7:57Speaker 2: drawing lines based on race. And the same time, the
- 8:01Speaker 2: prevailing Supreme Court precedent was that the Voting Rights Act,
- 8:04Speaker 2: a statute passed by Congress, essentially mandated redistricting based on race.
- 8:11Speaker 2: So you had these two lines of cases that just
- 8:14Speaker 2: made no sense because they contradicted each other. And I
- 8:17Speaker 2: got to say, having been part of the process and
- 8:21Speaker 2: at the time the legislature was drawing the lines, it
- 8:24Speaker 2: was a very political process. And I was instructed on
- 8:27Speaker 2: behalf of the AG's office that I'd come in and say, look,
- 8:30Speaker 2: if you need legal advice, I'll give you my best
- 8:32Speaker 2: legal advice. If you want to make a political determination,
- 8:36Speaker 2: do you want to take out this congressman or that congressman.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You're entitled to make that determination. You're an elected state legislator.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I'm not so if you're going to engage in those
- 8:46Speaker 2: political determinations, I'm gonna step outside, and when you need
- 8:49Speaker 2: me for a legal opinion, I will give it to you.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I will tell you, Ben, after going through that process,
- 8:54Speaker 2: after going through the litigation, I wanted to take a
- 8:57Speaker 2: shower because there was so much of the litigation that
- 9:01Speaker 2: was explicitly racial in a way that normal civilized people
- 9:05Speaker 2: they don't talk about the black seat, the Hispanic seat,
- 9:09Speaker 2: the white seat, and yet it was all very explicitly
- 9:13Speaker 2: rang about race. That's what the court turned around. We're
- 9:16Speaker 2: gonna explain more in just a minute, all.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Right, Senator So let's get back to it. You were
- 9:20Speaker 1: mentioning a moment ago. You're in the room. You're seeing
- 9:23Speaker 1: how the politics this worked in the past, where they
- 9:26Speaker 1: were literally designing districts all over the country based on race.
- 9:31Speaker 1: If it's a white district, a Black district, a Hispanic district,
- 9:34Speaker 1: the list goes on on. And now the Supreme Court
- 9:36Speaker 1: has made it pretty darn clear. Yeah, that way of
- 9:39Speaker 1: doing business is not going to work anymore.
- 9:41Speaker 2: But by the way, I'll give you a little history
- 9:43Speaker 2: as to how sordid racial gerrymandering has been, particularly by Democrats.
- 9:49Speaker 2: So when we were trying the Texas redistricting case in
- 9:52Speaker 2: two thousand and three, we had testimony on the stand
- 9:55Speaker 2: from Eddie Bernice Johnson. Eddie Bernice Johnson was an African
- 9:59Speaker 2: American woman, a member of Congress from Dallas, and she
- 10:03Speaker 2: had been a state Senator when the nineteen ninety one
- 10:07Speaker 2: redistrictive map was drawn, which is what really put in
- 10:10Speaker 2: place the egregious Democrat Jerrymander. And she testified about how
- 10:15Speaker 2: Martin Frost, Martin Frost was a Democrat congressman from Texas,
- 10:20Speaker 2: he'd really driven the Jerrymander and she said Democrats knew
- 10:25Speaker 2: how to ensure that they elected white Democrats, which is
- 10:29Speaker 2: they would draw a district where they would put just
- 10:33Speaker 2: enough African Americans but not too many, and just enough
- 10:37Speaker 2: Hispanics but not too many. And she said the reason
- 10:40Speaker 2: is in a Democrat primary, if you had a black
- 10:44Speaker 2: candidate run, the Hispanics and the white Democrats would all
- 10:48Speaker 2: vote against the black candidate. If you had an Hispanic
- 10:51Speaker 2: candidate one run, the African Americans and the Whites would
- 10:56Speaker 2: all vote against the Hispanic candidate. And so Eddie Bernise
- 11:00Speaker 2: Johnson testified that the Democrats knew how to put just
- 11:03Speaker 2: enough that neither a black candidate nor an Hispanic candidate
- 11:07Speaker 2: could win the primary. But then what would happen is
- 11:11Speaker 2: when a white Democrat won, all the Democrats would come
- 11:16Speaker 2: together and support the white candidate in the general, and
- 11:18Speaker 2: the white candidate would win. So we had a system
- 11:22Speaker 2: where in Texas a large majority of Texans were voting Republican,
- 11:28Speaker 2: and yet we were electing a congressional delegation that was
- 11:31Speaker 2: majority Democrat, and it was a bunch of white Democrats.
- 11:35Speaker 2: And what the state legislature did in two thousand and
- 11:37Speaker 2: three is they essentially obliterated the white Democrats. They ended
- 11:41Speaker 2: that partisan jerrymander and that racial gerrymander, and it ended
- 11:46Speaker 2: up electing a number of more Republicans. But that I
- 11:52Speaker 2: hated litigating this kind of case because I don't like
- 11:55Speaker 2: talking about the black seat, the white seat, the Hispanic seat.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Look first, Hispanic senator from Texas. But I don't consider myself.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I'm not a senator for Hispanics. I'm not a senator
- 12:07Speaker 2: for whites. I'm not a senator for blacks. I'm a
- 12:09Speaker 2: senator for Texans. I'm elected by thirty two million Texans.
- 12:13Speaker 2: It's my job to represent everyone. And the left is
- 12:17Speaker 2: so bean countery that what happened in Louisiana is you
- 12:21Speaker 2: had a court decision that ordered Louisiana. They had one
- 12:26Speaker 2: black Democrat seat in the Congressional delegation, and the court
- 12:29Speaker 2: said it is mathematically possible to draw a second black
- 12:34Speaker 2: Democrat seat. Now, the seat was ugly as can be.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It ran diagonally the entire length of the state. It
- 12:41Speaker 2: like reached out. You know, you look at the origin
- 12:45Speaker 2: of the word gerrymander. You know the origin of the
- 12:47Speaker 2: word gerrymander.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Don't you ben give me give me the history.
- 12:51Speaker 2: So it was Elbridge Jerry, who was one of the
- 12:55Speaker 2: founding fathers, one of one of the the original framers
- 12:58Speaker 2: of our country, who was a congressman at the beginning
- 13:03Speaker 2: of the country. And he had a district that was
- 13:06Speaker 2: so ugly it was drawn and it looked like a salamander.
- 13:10Speaker 2: And so Jerrymander is a combination of his name, Jerry
- 13:14Speaker 2: and salamander. And it's a long practice. But what the
- 13:18Speaker 2: court had ordered, the lower court had ordered the state
- 13:21Speaker 2: of Louisiana because it is mathematically possible to draw line
- 13:24Speaker 2: where you just look for every black Democrat, you put
- 13:27Speaker 2: them all in one district and they could win two
- 13:30Speaker 2: congressional seats. If it's possible to do it, you must
- 13:34Speaker 2: do it. That's what the court had ruled. That went
- 13:36Speaker 2: up to the US Supreme Court, and the U. S
- 13:38Speaker 2: Supreme Court overturned that. And the technical legal question they
- 13:42Speaker 2: were analyzing is whether complying with Section two of the
- 13:48Speaker 2: Voting Rights Act constitutes a compelling interest under the Constitution. Now,
- 13:53Speaker 2: what does that mean? That sounds like gobbledygook. So the
- 13:56Speaker 2: Supreme Court had long held that both the Fourteenth Amendment,
- 13:59Speaker 2: the Equal Protection Clause, and the Fifteenth Amendment, the prohibition
- 14:03Speaker 2: the protection of the right to vote based on race.
- 14:06Speaker 2: That both of those made it illegal to draw lines
- 14:09Speaker 2: based on race. And in order to overcome that prohibition,
- 14:13Speaker 2: you had to clear what is called strict scrutiny. Strict
- 14:16Speaker 2: scrutiny is a legal standard that takes a compelling government
- 14:22Speaker 2: interest that is as narrowly tailored as possible. That's the
- 14:26Speaker 2: only circumstance in which you can survive strict scrutiny. Well,
- 14:30Speaker 2: the Court had never answered the question for thirty years
- 14:34Speaker 2: whether complying with Section two of the Voting Rights Act
- 14:38Speaker 2: constitutes a compelling state interest that lets you essentially ignore
- 14:44Speaker 2: the Constitution's prohibition on racial discrimination and jerrymanner based on race.
- 14:50Speaker 2: And the Court six' to, three a decision By Justice
- 14:52Speaker 2: alito said, No, no a statute From. Congress, look The
- 14:57Speaker 2: Voting Rights act was enacted to protect text people's rights to.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Vote it was enacted to vindicate The. Constitution it wasn't
- 15:04Speaker 2: enacted to direct legislatures you must discriminate based on. Race
- 15:11Speaker 2: AND i got to, Say, ben the reaction Of democrats
- 15:14Speaker 2: to this, decision it has been.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Hysterical they are their minds they're basically saying that there's
- 15:20Speaker 1: never going to be An African american ever elected office
- 15:22Speaker 1: again In. Louisiana is what they've is how they're trying
- 15:24Speaker 1: to play this right, now which is also.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Absurd, well you, know it's interesting because the way The
- 15:28Speaker 2: democrats are their view is the only way An African
- 15:32Speaker 2: american Or hispanic can get elected is in a district
- 15:35Speaker 2: that is drawn only to elect An hispanic Or African American.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Democrat how about winning? Statewide, Look I'm, Hispanic i'm elected. Statewide.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Uh Tim scott Is African, american he's A. Republican he's elected.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Statewide but you know, what when you're elected, statewide you
- 15:51Speaker 2: have to appeal to people more. Broadly when you're in
- 15:54Speaker 2: an egregiously gerrymannered congressional, district you end up only appealing
- 15:59Speaker 2: to the. Extreme that's how you get A Maxine, Waters
- 16:03Speaker 2: that's how you get AN, Aoc that's how you get
- 16:05Speaker 2: an Ilhan omar because their districts are drawn where the
- 16:09Speaker 2: only voters they're listening to are the radical. Zealots the
- 16:13Speaker 2: Ilhan omars is listening to The somali fraudsters because that's
- 16:17Speaker 2: who elects. Her the result of this is states now
- 16:21Speaker 2: will not be able to draw districts based on. Race
- 16:24Speaker 2: they'll draw them based on political, issues based on, geography
- 16:27Speaker 2: based on, history and you will end up hopefully having
- 16:30Speaker 2: members Of congress that represent the citizens more.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Fairly all, RIGHT i want to take a moment AND
- 16:35Speaker 1: i want to talk to you about the incredible impact
- 16:38Speaker 1: that you can have for the people Of. Israel right,

- 18:37Speaker 2: Party, well something really significant happened this, week which is
- 18:41Speaker 2: in The democrat primary And. Maine Janet, mills the incumbent,
- 18:46Speaker 2: governor A democrat was. Running, Now Janet mills had been
- 18:49Speaker 2: recruited to run By Chuck. Schumer, yeah she had a
- 18:53Speaker 2: ton of. Money she. Was schumer, said this is the

- 19:18Speaker 2: maine we will fight to the death so that boys
- 19:21Speaker 2: can compete in girls sports and men can compete against
- 19:24Speaker 2: women in women's. Sports and that went.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Viral by the, way it was like it was a
- 19:28Speaker 1: shouting match in an awkward situation with the, president and
- 19:30Speaker 1: that was like her.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Moment.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so so she is is a hardcore left Wing
- 19:36Speaker 2: democrat supported By Chuck, schumer The democrat, leader the incumbent,
- 19:41Speaker 2: governor with a ton of. Money in a normal world
- 19:44Speaker 2: that that's almost like designed in a, lab the best
- 19:47Speaker 2: candidate The democrats could find beat an Incumbent republican.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Senator, Yeah you've literally won. Statewide you could win statewide.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Again this is not Hart well except for the fact
- 19:56Speaker 2: That Bernie sanders and the wacko left wing The Democrat
- 20:00Speaker 2: party recruited this guy Named Graham. Platner, Now Graham platner
- 20:04Speaker 2: is being marketed as an oyster, farmer a blue collar. Guy,
- 20:09Speaker 2: Yeah Graham plattner is a self described. Communist that's what
- 20:16Speaker 2: he says he. Is, Yes Graham.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Platner by the, way believe then when they tell you
- 20:20Speaker 1: who they, are because that's exactly who this guy.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Is Graham platner has A nazi tattoo on his. Chests
- 20:30Speaker 2: he's a communist who is wearing A nazi. Tattoo he
- 20:35Speaker 2: is also viciously. Misogynist he has attacked women and said
- 20:41Speaker 2: said said when the if they get, raped it's it's women's.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Fault that's who he. Is he was running Against Chuck schumer's,
- 20:49Speaker 2: choice And Janet mills just dropped out because The Democrat.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Party one of the most consequential things that has happened
- 20:56Speaker 2: in the last few years is The Democrat party has
- 20:58Speaker 2: become radicalized in dream and it NOW i think it's
- 21:02Speaker 2: a very good, question can anyone win A democrat primary
- 21:05Speaker 2: In maine who doesn't have A nazi, tattoo because that's
- 21:09Speaker 2: the that's the standard they're. Holding AND i want you
- 21:11Speaker 2: to listen. To this is an ad that THE, nrsc
- 21:15Speaker 2: The National Republican Senatorial, committee put out in response to,
- 21:18Speaker 2: this and it's simply someone Reading Graham Platner's reddit post
- 21:23Speaker 2: he's posted On. Reddit i'm going to apologize.
- 21:26Speaker 1: What read it is so people. Understand if maybe you're
- 21:28Speaker 1: not familiar with, THAT i want you to understand.
- 21:30Speaker 2: It it's this sort of online chat room that is,
- 21:34Speaker 2: used and it's used often by a lot of people
- 21:36Speaker 2: who are very. Fringe and so these are actual things
- 21:39Speaker 2: That Graham platner has typed in And i'm going to
- 21:41Speaker 2: apologize a number of these things are are are pretty.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Graphic but this is what the now almost certain to
- 21:49Speaker 2: Be democrat nominee For senate In. Maine this this, is
- 21:53Speaker 2: in his own, words word for, word what he. Said
- 21:56Speaker 2: give a, listen.
- 21:58Speaker 3: And now for a dramatic greeting Of Graham Platner's reddit. Comments,
- 22:02Speaker 3: holy how about people just take some responsibility for themselves
- 22:06Speaker 3: and not get so fed up they wind up having
- 22:08Speaker 3: sex with someone they don't mean to rape is a real.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Thing if you're so worried about it to buy kevlar,
- 22:13Speaker 3: underwear you think you might not get blacked out up
- 22:16Speaker 3: around people you aren't comfortable. With why don't black people?
- 22:20Speaker 3: TIP i work as a, bartender and it always amazes
- 22:23Speaker 3: me how solid this stereotype is living in white Roll.
- 22:26Speaker 3: America i'm afraid to tell you they actually. ARE i
- 22:30Speaker 3: got older and became a, communist still got the, guns
- 22:33Speaker 3: THOUGH i don't trust the fascists to act. POLITELY i
- 22:37Speaker 3: did used to Love, america or at least the idea of.
- 22:40Speaker 3: It these, Days i'm pretty disgusted by it. All feel
- 22:44Speaker 3: free to back it up with. Facts fact this was the,
- 22:47Speaker 3: gayest not in a fun sucking, way Thing i've ever.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Seen this has been a dramatic reading Of Graham Platner's reddit.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Comments, now now that is all. Real he wrote all
- 23:00Speaker 1: of that and that word for word critic party saying.
- 23:03Speaker 2: This and by the, Way Ben, ben that may be
- 23:07Speaker 2: the most we've had to bleep out anything On verdicts
- 23:10Speaker 2: since we've been doing the.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Show that's, actually, yeah probably very.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Accurate, Yes but like like every post we have to
- 23:16Speaker 2: bleep out because it's filled with. Profanity he's attacking women
- 23:19Speaker 2: who are victim victims of, rape he's Attacking African, americans
- 23:24Speaker 2: he's attacking. Homosexuals but, understand there is a hierarchy in
- 23:27Speaker 2: The Democrat party and at the top of the hierarchy
- 23:33Speaker 2: Are islamists and. Communists and if you're An islamist and,
- 23:36Speaker 2: communist then you can. Hate you, Know mondami has all
- 23:42Speaker 2: these comments slamming, homosexuals but that's okay if you're An
- 23:45Speaker 2: islamist and. Communist that is that that that is like
- 23:48Speaker 2: the purest of the left. WING i want you to listen, then.
- 23:51Speaker 1: For a party that likes to say That Donald trump
- 23:54Speaker 1: Is Adolf, Hitler i'm pretty sure this is the only
- 23:57Speaker 1: guy THAT i, know the turning provist right now on
- 23:59Speaker 1: the crowd or The republican side that has A nazi.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Tattoo just just want to.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Cy to the best of my, knowledge no member of
- 24:06Speaker 2: The senate has A nazi, tattoo And i'm not aware
- 24:08Speaker 2: of any any candidate for senator who has A nazi.
- 24:11Speaker 2: TATTOO i want you to listen To chris Van, holland
- 24:14Speaker 2: who's an Incumbent democrat senator From, maryland defending His nazi
- 24:20Speaker 2: tattoo and defending he is saying that women should quote
- 24:26Speaker 2: act like an adult to avoid. Rape give a, listen
- 24:29Speaker 2: this is an Incumbent democrat senator, saying, oh this is
- 24:31Speaker 2: this is just fine with. Us the dude hasn't not
- 24:35Speaker 2: had A nazi. TATTOO i, mean let's be clear about
- 24:37Speaker 2: what's going on. HERE i, mean is that how do
- 24:39Speaker 2: you view?
- 24:39Speaker 4: THAT i mean it seems it seems to be at
- 24:42Speaker 4: least somewhat disqualifying and traditional certainly. Historial, LOOK i, mean
- 24:47Speaker 4: let's take a couple, issues including the comments he's made
- 24:50Speaker 4: in the. PAST i, mean he's been very clear that
- 24:52Speaker 4: he went into combat on behalf of The United, states
- 24:55Speaker 4: he went through a really rough PERIOD ptsd type, period
- 25:01Speaker 4: and he is himself said there are lots of things
- 25:03Speaker 4: he's done and said that he completely. Regrets AND i
- 25:08Speaker 4: do believe people should have second chances and that people
- 25:12Speaker 4: can learn from their, mistakes AND i think he's been doing.
- 25:16Speaker 3: That.
- 25:17Speaker 1: SENATA i love there how they're like at the, beginning
- 25:19Speaker 1: they're trying to be nice. ABOUT i, mean it used
- 25:21Speaker 1: to be like a disqualifying thing in politics if you
- 25:25Speaker 1: had A nazi tattoo used to be but not right.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Now now it's up for. Grabs we'll flip a coin
- 25:30Speaker 1: and see what, happens and then you have the. Center they're, going,
- 25:33Speaker 1: well you, know you got to understand. Him he went
- 25:35Speaker 1: through a, lot so therefore we're going to get him
- 25:37Speaker 1: to get a jail free card because he went through a.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Lot and you, know when you go through a, lot
- 25:42Speaker 1: Of nazi tattoos are just one of the things you
- 25:44Speaker 1: decide to put on your.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Body, look The democrat defense of this is people make.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Mistakes that was just a. Phase by the, way they're
- 25:52Speaker 2: not defensive about him SAYING i am a communist like
- 25:56Speaker 2: that that represents where The Democrat party. Is by the,
- 26:00Speaker 2: way there's another image while he's on the campaign trail
- 26:03Speaker 2: where he does what is a flat Out nazi. SALUTE i,
- 26:06Speaker 2: mean arms straight up. Sighile you remember when the media
- 26:10Speaker 2: went crazy When Elon musk was was at a stadium
- 26:14Speaker 2: and head he beat his chest and waved and they, said,
- 26:17Speaker 2: oh that's A nazi, salute and like every media, outlet
- 26:20Speaker 2: what this guy, DID i don't know how to describe
- 26:24Speaker 2: it other than he held his arm up in a folder.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Would have been. Proud that's the best way to put, it.
- 26:30Speaker 2: And of Course Elizabeth warren was campaigning with him, saying
- 26:33Speaker 2: this is my kind of. Guy, understand this is no
- 26:38Speaker 2: longer fringe in The Democrat. Party someone who says they're a,
- 26:41Speaker 2: communists someone who says women effectively deserve to be, raped
- 26:45Speaker 2: someone who who wears A nazi tattoo and doesn't apologize for,
- 26:50Speaker 2: it that is now an unbeatable candidate and A democrat,
- 26:55Speaker 2: primary the Incumbent democrat, governor with the support Of Chuck,
- 27:00Speaker 2: schumer could not win and had to drop. Out and
- 27:04Speaker 2: that's a dangerous dynamic that these people are no longer
- 27:07Speaker 2: fringe in The Democrat. Party And i'm not saying Every
- 27:12Speaker 2: democrat agrees with, him BUT i don't know a Single
- 27:16Speaker 2: democrat other Than John. Fetterman and again we keep Saying
- 27:19Speaker 2: John fetterman is the exception that proves the. Rule other
- 27:23Speaker 2: Than John fetterman THAT i don't know a Single democrat has,
- 27:26Speaker 2: said you, know maybe he shouldn't have gotten A Nazi nazi,
- 27:30Speaker 2: tattoo like just they won't do that because all they
- 27:35Speaker 2: care about is power and the, money the. Energy the,
- 27:42Speaker 2: volunteers the activists in The Democrat party are all on
- 27:47Speaker 2: the extreme, left and so every one of them is
- 27:49Speaker 2: captive to. Them AND i gotta say that's not healthy For.
- 27:53Speaker 2: America BEN i. WORRY i would like to see two
- 27:58Speaker 2: functioning rational parties in our, Country, America america better when over,
- 28:05Speaker 2: now when you Have democrats that are not so far
- 28:10Speaker 2: left wing as to be like on the utter, fringes
- 28:14Speaker 2: and yet that's where they've, gone and and AND i
- 28:16Speaker 2: don't see anyone in The Democrat party trying to pull them,
- 28:18Speaker 2: back and and and and that's ultimately that's very bad
- 28:22Speaker 2: because these, people they're getting, elected and they're driving The
- 28:25Speaker 2: Democrat party further further and further into crazy.
- 28:28Speaker 1: TOWN i want to take a quick moment and talk
- 28:30Speaker 1: to you about an incredible organization and it is Called Compassion,
- 28:34Speaker 1: international and how you can get. INVOLVED i want to
- 28:38Speaker 1: be honest with you for a second about how an
- 28:41Speaker 1: act of compassion really. FEELS a couple of years, AGO
- 28:44Speaker 1: i made the choice to partner with an amazing organization
- 28:48Speaker 1: Called Compassion. International why BECAUSE i wanted to sponsor a
- 28:52Speaker 1: child in. Need it was a nice, idea, sure BUT
- 28:56Speaker 1: i had no idea just how much that simple act
- 28:59Speaker 1: would change my life as. WELL i Sponsored nadia and
- 29:03Speaker 1: got to watch your life change right in front of my,
- 29:06Speaker 1: eyes going from starving literally alone on the, streets to
- 29:10Speaker 1: getting the healthcare and education she needs to reach Her
- 29:14Speaker 1: god given full. POTENTIAL i got to be a part
- 29:18Speaker 1: of that, change and the light of that compassion not
- 29:21Speaker 1: only illuminates in, her it illuminates now in. Me that
- 29:25Speaker 1: is the power of. Compassion the light Of christ shines
- 29:29Speaker 1: on all of. Us feel it for yourself and change
- 29:33Speaker 1: literally a child's, life change the, world and you also change.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Yourself you can sponsor child. Today visit compassion dot. Com
- 29:43Speaker 1: that's compassion dot. Com, senator this might be one of
- 29:47Speaker 1: the most entertaining stories That i've seen in a long.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Time if you want to know how bigoted The Democratic party,
- 29:54Speaker 1: is look no further than how they treat homeless. People
- 29:59Speaker 1: They you've got a scoring. Mechanism now you get bonus
- 30:03Speaker 1: points for certain things while being homeless In, america and
- 30:08Speaker 1: then you get services aka rewarded based on your race
- 30:13Speaker 1: and your sexual. Identity, now this is Like english is
- 30:17Speaker 1: a second, language gets you two, Points so just think
- 30:20Speaker 1: of that as a. Jumper if you're, pregnant that's a three.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Pointer we give you more points if you're pregnant if
- 30:27Speaker 1: you're a child under, five you get three. Points if
- 30:29Speaker 1: you're a child under, eighteen you only get one. Point,
- 30:32Speaker 1: so in other, words and if you're head of household
- 30:34Speaker 1: and you're under, eighteen we give you bonus points two
- 30:36Speaker 1: points for. That there's an actual quota list of points
- 30:40Speaker 1: you receive depending on how you describe. Yourself and if
- 30:43Speaker 1: you say that you know you're gay or lesbian or,
- 30:46Speaker 1: transmitter that's bonus points as.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Well so, look we talked a minute ago about the
- 30:52Speaker 2: hierarchy of victim groups in The Democrat. Party it's a
- 30:56Speaker 2: notion that's called. Intersectionality and in The Democrat, party BEING
- 31:03Speaker 2: lgbt or being a racial minority is more privileged than
- 31:08Speaker 2: simply being poor and being. Homeless and let's. Talk we're
- 31:12Speaker 2: going to talk About, Portland, oregon Because, Portland oregon is
- 31:15Speaker 2: almost like a deranged faculty lounge experiment gone. Awry i'm
- 31:22Speaker 2: going to read from an article in Pro. Publica to be,
- 31:24Speaker 2: clear Pro publica is not a right wing. Outlet it
- 31:27Speaker 2: is a left wing. Outlet but here's what they. Described.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Quote as the city Of, Portland oregon clawed its way
- 31:33Speaker 2: out of the, pandemic it faced a new set of,
- 31:35Speaker 2: Crises the city's homeless population was growing tense lined some city.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Blocks high powered business associations held press conferences demanding the
- 31:46Speaker 2: city remove homeless people and touted self funded survey saying
- 31:50Speaker 2: that without, action businesses and residents would flee the. City
- 31:54Speaker 2: by late spring twenty twenty, one the city committed to
- 31:57Speaker 2: a new strategy that Then mayor Head wheeler said would
- 32:01Speaker 2: quote reprioritize public health and safety among Homeless, portlanders ultimately
- 32:08Speaker 2: allocating one point three billion dollars by the end of
- 32:14Speaker 2: twenty twenty. Four, now let's see what the results. Were
- 32:20Speaker 2: although the city spent roughly two hundred thousand dollars per homeless.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Resident now let's stop and think two hundred grand per homeless.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Resident you could house them and feed. Them two hundred
- 32:32Speaker 2: grand is a lot of. Money that's what they. Spent
- 32:34Speaker 2: what do you think it. Did what do you think
- 32:38Speaker 2: massively spending and saying we're prioritizing the safety of homeless,
- 32:41Speaker 2: people what do you think it.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Produced i'm going to guess close to, nothing because it's
- 32:45Speaker 1: a government program and liberals are in.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Charge, sorry, call you're not cynical. Enough nothing would be.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Better close to nothing would be, Better the death rate
- 32:56Speaker 2: among homeless people In portland, quadrupled went up four hundred.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Percent the death rate went up from one hundred and
- 33:07Speaker 2: thirteen and twenty nineteen to more than four hundred and
- 33:12Speaker 2: fifty in twenty twenty. Three so when liberals say we
- 33:17Speaker 2: are going to focus on the, homeless if you're, homeless
- 33:22Speaker 2: god help, you because at at least In, portland what
- 33:27Speaker 2: that meant was the death rate. Quadrupled, now they also
- 33:30Speaker 2: put in, place as you, reference an elaborate point.
- 33:34Speaker 1: SYSTEM i, mean and this is not a, joke like
- 33:37Speaker 1: it's literally and they even tell you, like, hey you
- 33:39Speaker 1: can't get double points if you get points in one
- 33:42Speaker 1: category compared to another. Category so if you're pregnant nunder,
- 33:45Speaker 1: eighteen that's bonus, points but only if you haven't already
- 33:48Speaker 1: gotten points for being pregnant on another another piece of,
- 33:51Speaker 1: paper for another pointing. System it's just it's unbelievable how
- 33:55Speaker 1: well organized it.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Is so, look And i'll, say actually pregnant makes some.
- 33:59Speaker 2: Sense prioritizing pregnant women that has a reasonable basis you
- 34:04Speaker 2: are more. Vulnerable But english is a second language that
- 34:08Speaker 2: was worth two points head of a household under. Eighteen
- 34:14Speaker 2: that was worth two. Points interest IN lgbtq services that
- 34:19Speaker 2: was worth one. Point.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Interest so it just makes you, SAY i Think i've
- 34:25Speaker 1: thought about being gay or transittered or, lesbian and then
- 34:28Speaker 1: you get one bonus.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Point so total disabilities impacting entire household ability to secure.
- 34:35Speaker 2: HOUSING i don't even know what that, means but it's
- 34:37Speaker 2: worth three. Points, yeah there you. Go interest in culturally
- 34:43Speaker 2: specific services that's two. Points, AGAIN i don't.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Know by the WAY i mean comparing, That just so
- 34:48Speaker 1: you understand how woke this. Is if you are over
- 34:52Speaker 1: the age of fifty five fifty five, plus which is
- 34:55Speaker 1: a higher vulnerable, CATEGORY i think we can all agree on.
- 34:57Speaker 1: That for homelessness you get two point. Points for, that
- 35:01Speaker 1: you get the same number of. Points if you're interested
- 35:03Speaker 1: in culturally specific. Services you can just catch up to
- 35:07Speaker 1: somebody that's fifty, five, sixty seventy, eight eighty, five ninety years.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Old, yeah and also worth two points is being a
- 35:16Speaker 2: domestic violence. Survivor, now now that actually is rational and
- 35:20Speaker 2: makes sense that you would prioritize domestic violence. Survivors but
- 35:24Speaker 2: in The portland, world interest in a culturally specific service
- 35:29Speaker 2: is equally prioritized to being a domestic violence server. Survivor,
- 35:34Speaker 2: now how about, this what do you think being poor
- 35:41Speaker 2: is like having let's say something crazy zero, Income like
- 35:46Speaker 2: if you're trying to help homeless people having zero, income.
- 35:50Speaker 1: You would think that would be one of the top
- 35:52Speaker 1: scoring things on a sheet because that would get, you
- 35:54Speaker 1: obviously to be. Homeless so you would think like that
- 35:58Speaker 1: would be worth, something, right guess it's not one.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Point one point one Point and if.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You're homeless for a year or more you only get one.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Point but if you are currently, homeless this is what's.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Weird currently homeless gets you two. Points wouldn't that also
- 36:13Speaker 1: mean you get one point for being homeless for like
- 36:16Speaker 1: twelve months or more or no. INCOME i don't. Know
- 36:19Speaker 1: i'd like this IS dei on a whole nother level of.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Stupid, look here's what they said they've done So Maltnomah, County,
- 36:29Speaker 2: oregon which is home of deep Blue, portland where deaths
- 36:33Speaker 2: of homeless people quadrupled between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Three the county screening tool For housing services is designed
- 36:40Speaker 2: and this is a quote from the county to quote
- 36:43Speaker 2: PRIORITIZE bipoc, households LGBTQ ia two s plus, yep and
- 36:53Speaker 2: people with. Disabilities, yes again this is not there's ending
- 37:00Speaker 2: two hundred grand per homeless. Person with two hundred.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Grand you can buy somebody a.
- 37:05Speaker 2: House you could buy someone a, house but you can
- 37:08Speaker 2: pay it would make too much. Sense you could pay
- 37:11Speaker 2: rent for a long. Time you could get someone in
- 37:13Speaker 2: a hotel, room you could feed, them you could get
- 37:15Speaker 2: the medical. Care and yet the death rate quadruple because
- 37:19Speaker 2: they were more interested IN lgbtq elementop like like the
- 37:24Speaker 2: number of letters. THERE i can't Even it reminds me
- 37:26Speaker 2: of that Crazy canadian who got up and gave this
- 37:29Speaker 2: incredibly long stream That i'm pretty sure was Her WiFi.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Password but they're more interested in they're woke policies than
- 37:38Speaker 2: they are actually in helping someone who needs. Help and
- 37:42Speaker 2: and and that's true to.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Mention tred thousand a. Person just to put it in
- 37:46Speaker 1: perspective with everything we, know you got to ask yourself
- 37:48Speaker 1: the question how much frauds involved?
- 37:50Speaker 3: Here?
- 37:50Speaker 2: Massive?
- 37:51Speaker 1: Massive, yeah it's hard to spend that much money two hundred.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Thousand it's gonna be interesting to watch.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Somebody's driving A, ferrari somebody's driving A.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Lamborghini, yeah There's, yeah You're you're absolutely right about that.
- 38:03Speaker 1: One don't Forget we do this Show, Monday, Wednesday. Friday
