- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man, if if if
- 2:13Speaker 1: I had time enough to tell the whole trip, the
- 2:16Speaker 1: whole journey, and y'all would be sitting up in there
- 2:20Speaker 1: going okay, Steve, are we gonna play the show this week?
- 2:24Speaker 1: But man, it's been a lot of amazing things has
- 2:27Speaker 1: has happened to me over the years, um and and
- 2:32Speaker 1: not all of them good. It's been some amazingly bad
- 2:36Speaker 1: things that have happened too. But I just come on
- 2:40Speaker 1: in the morning as a reminder to everybody of of
- 2:44Speaker 1: of the actual goodness of God, that you know, man,
- 2:47Speaker 1: that these mistakes that you're making, that these setbacks that
- 2:51Speaker 1: you keep having, that these falls that keep occurring in
- 2:55Speaker 1: your life, that they all are leading you somewhere. If
- 3:00Speaker 1: you just don't ever give up. That's the key. You
- 3:04Speaker 1: can never ever give up because you don't know how
- 3:09Speaker 1: the trip has been laid out for you. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: if somebody had told me um years ago when I
- 3:17Speaker 1: had the dream of being on TV and then I
- 3:20Speaker 1: thought about being a one of one of the best
- 3:23Speaker 1: comedians I could be. You know when when I when
- 3:26Speaker 1: I started, somebody had told me everything that was gonna
- 3:31Speaker 1: have to happen in order for me to get there,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I would have changed it. I would have I would
- 3:37Speaker 1: have said, Okay, well I ain't gonna be that. How
- 3:40Speaker 1: about this? See and and no one can know all
- 3:44Speaker 1: of the events of their life ahead of time. You know,
- 3:47Speaker 1: it would be so nice when't it. You know, to
- 3:49Speaker 1: prepare for it, see it coming, be aware of the haters,
- 3:55Speaker 1: always knowing when the backstabbing moment is coming in your life,
- 4:00Speaker 1: always knowing when you're gonna get blindsided by the enemy.
- 4:03Speaker 1: We're really great to know that wouldn't it. Well, that's
- 4:06Speaker 1: not how it works. So since no one knows exactly
- 4:13Speaker 1: the challenges and the pitfalls and the detools that's gonna
- 4:17Speaker 1: be set them, it's it's it's imperative that you just
- 4:22Speaker 1: don't give up because see, knowing these things, we as
- 4:29Speaker 1: human beings by nature, would choose another route. But it
- 4:33Speaker 1: ain't the route God God for you, though. See the
- 4:36Speaker 1: route God God for you. If you if you're trying
- 4:39Speaker 1: to do the right thing, if you're doing the best
- 4:41Speaker 1: you can, if you ain't out here just intentionally just
- 4:45Speaker 1: messing over, folks, if you're using faith and that's the
- 4:49Speaker 1: belief in things that you cannot see. If you have
- 4:53Speaker 1: something on the inside of you to keep saying there's
- 4:55Speaker 1: got to be more to life than that, then that's
- 4:58Speaker 1: that's you. You, my in have a great chance here.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And if you've ever had that feeling and gave up
- 5:05Speaker 1: on it, just get it back. Just asked for it back.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to the way
- 5:11Speaker 1: I used to be. Because there's a change that's available
- 5:15Speaker 1: in your life, but you gotta take it. You gotta
- 5:18Speaker 1: take a shot at it. Folks. There's a chance for
- 5:21Speaker 1: you to get it right, But you gotta take a
- 5:23Speaker 1: shot at it. Folks, there's a chance for you to
- 5:26Speaker 1: turn this whole thing around with God's help, but you
- 5:29Speaker 1: gotta take a shot at it. You See, this decision
- 5:33Speaker 1: is yours. The decision to lay down and give up,
- 5:36Speaker 1: that's yours. It ain't it just got too hard for me.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Life too much, man, life hard and too much for everybody.
- 5:43Speaker 1: What I gotta get you to see is if you
- 5:46Speaker 1: don't lay down and give into it, there's some great
- 5:50Speaker 1: things in store for your life. Because all of the
- 5:54Speaker 1: things every lesson I've ever ever learned, the best lesson
- 5:59Speaker 1: has been a ball lesson. My father used to always
- 6:03Speaker 1: tell me. He said, so best lessons in life the
- 6:05Speaker 1: born your value and learn the most is about lesson.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I didn't quite understand that being young, but I showed
- 6:13Speaker 1: God it now ain't no lesson like a bout lesson,
- 6:16Speaker 1: the one you pay for. Those are the ones that
- 6:19Speaker 1: hold to you, that stick to you, that that that
- 6:22Speaker 1: start turning you into who you're gonna be. Those are
- 6:25Speaker 1: the character builders. See, um, you got to be forged
- 6:29Speaker 1: to get to where you want to go in life.
- 6:31Speaker 1: So that's what the challenges and missteps is for that's
- 6:34Speaker 1: what the failing is about. Now. I know you don't
- 6:37Speaker 1: like it. I didn't. I know you're not comfortable when
- 6:40Speaker 1: I wouldn't. I know you wish it was over sooner
- 6:43Speaker 1: than later. I always do. I always wanted to be
- 6:47Speaker 1: over sooner than later because the later manager seems like
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's so much I gotta go through. But let me
- 6:54Speaker 1: tell you something, man, if you can, if you can
- 6:57Speaker 1: Ford your way through it and understand that you are
- 7:00Speaker 1: forged in life, I don't know. I was on TBN
- 7:05Speaker 1: one time when I was doing one of my motivational speeches,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and I began to wonder about this experience I had
- 7:13Speaker 1: at Ford Motor Company, and um one of the things
- 7:16Speaker 1: that I had came to the realization of was that
- 7:20Speaker 1: that job at Ford mot Motor Company taught me a
- 7:23Speaker 1: couple of valuable lessons. First of all, that I had
- 7:26Speaker 1: to be at work on time, because I always was.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I had a really, really good work record. Man, I
- 7:32Speaker 1: was a great employee because I because I didn't want
- 7:35Speaker 1: to disappoint anybody. You know, I already saw the look
- 7:40Speaker 1: on my parents face when I flunked out of college.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I didn't I wanted my father to know that I
- 7:45Speaker 1: was a hard worker. And so when I got the
- 7:48Speaker 1: job at Ford, I wanted to prove to my father
- 7:51Speaker 1: my mother, you know, the the nay says, hey man,
- 7:55Speaker 1: I know how to stick to something. But my last
- 7:58Speaker 1: job after the auto industry, he started going down. My
- 8:01Speaker 1: last job was in the foundry, and my job was
- 8:05Speaker 1: to stand at the end almost where the engines first
- 8:10Speaker 1: come out of the furnace. See, the engines are poured
- 8:14Speaker 1: into a mold. It's hot, melted down metal whatever they
- 8:18Speaker 1: call it, lava or whatever. They poured into a mold
- 8:21Speaker 1: and it goes into this furnace that's extremely hot. And
- 8:25Speaker 1: my job was after the heat was applied to the
- 8:29Speaker 1: engine block, it would come through and it would it
- 8:33Speaker 1: would go through a hardening stage. But the way it
- 8:35Speaker 1: was hardening, they would cool it. Suddenly they would flush
- 8:39Speaker 1: it with water. It was just blast water on it.
- 8:42Speaker 1: But the fire and the high temperature is what made
- 8:47Speaker 1: the engine block solidified. It's because it's gotta get real hot,
- 8:51Speaker 1: get melted down first. Then it's got to get poured
- 8:54Speaker 1: into a mold. Then it's gotta be pressured, hit with
- 8:59Speaker 1: water and all this and then it and it's real hot.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Now it's still hot even though there's water been shadow.
- 9:05Speaker 1: But when it comes out the end of the side,
- 9:07Speaker 1: there's a lot of flashing in it. And flashing is
- 9:09Speaker 1: a metal from that ton dripped through the cast molding
- 9:13Speaker 1: on it, just like flecks of extra pieces of metal.
- 9:16Speaker 1: My job was to hit this engine block in the front,
- 9:22Speaker 1: which is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock all the flashing
- 9:27Speaker 1: off the front, and when it came around back to bam,
- 9:30Speaker 1: hit it real hard again on the back side. And
- 9:35Speaker 1: that became the core of what the car is. A
- 9:38Speaker 1: car without a great engine is nothing. It's just a
- 9:41Speaker 1: pretty looking vehicle over there. But if it can't do
- 9:45Speaker 1: what it was made to do because the engine block
- 9:47Speaker 1: then cracked. So you can have a car look real good.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But if it freezes an engine block crack your car,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you can It's it's over man. You gotta get a
- 9:55Speaker 1: new block. The block is the core. But in order
- 9:58Speaker 1: for you for the car to do it, it's gotta
- 10:00Speaker 1: do it's gotta have a strong engine in it. In
- 10:02Speaker 1: order for the engine to be strong, it's gotta be
- 10:05Speaker 1: forged and still come through fire, get poured in a mold,
- 10:09Speaker 1: cooled off, heated, knocked around beat on the front end,
- 10:13Speaker 1: beat on the back end, in order for it to
- 10:15Speaker 1: be what it's gonna be. The moral of the story, folks,
- 10:18Speaker 1: is you got to get forged in fire to be
- 10:21Speaker 1: what you're gonna be. You got to get beat up,
- 10:25Speaker 1: you got to get pressure washed, you got to have
- 10:27Speaker 1: heat on you. You You gotta get melted down, you gotta
- 10:30Speaker 1: get poured into a mold. That's how you become who
- 10:34Speaker 1: you are. So the tough things that you're going through,
- 10:36Speaker 1: the difficult challenges and the setback. I know a brother
- 10:39Speaker 1: who went to prison, man, and and the whole reason
- 10:43Speaker 1: he ended up going to prison because he was looking
- 10:45Speaker 1: out the loop window looking out in the yard and
- 10:47Speaker 1: I'm working out. And then the next thing, you know, man,
- 10:50Speaker 1: this brother decided that he was gonna go out there
- 10:52Speaker 1: and work out. Well, guess what, he's one of the
- 10:55Speaker 1: top trainers in country. Today show Ladieshipping Bunch Girl. People
- 11:04Speaker 1: are right and were welcome to the Steve Harp better
- 11:08Speaker 1: because we'd be just be what's what's up? I'm clean, Yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 1: you're Cleveland. Good, thanks for coming. Oh man, So listen,
- 11:20Speaker 1: uh that is something funny today. We're going to hang
- 11:24Speaker 1: in their nephew you got ejected from I'm gonna go
- 11:28Speaker 1: see Braun, Braun if they got a game here and
- 11:30Speaker 1: his first of his career. Yeah, but what happened though,
- 11:34Speaker 1: I never got filed. You know that's just a little weak,
- 11:37Speaker 1: little relf. Okay, you know we don't do that. Though,
- 11:42Speaker 1: we won't do what not have been Cleveland. You don't
- 11:44Speaker 1: throw us out. Just lead the ref note right now,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you should be concerned. Hotel has some visitors last night,
- 11:53Speaker 1: yo yo ye, last game in Cleveland. Home, come up here,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you gotta be. Lebron looked at him like, what I know.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You see Dwyane Wade pulling. You had to pull him back,
- 12:09Speaker 1: but he said the referee said that Lebron was whispering
- 12:14Speaker 1: things in his ear, whispering vulgarity. That's part of the game.
- 12:17Speaker 1: That's part of the game. Baby, Well not Tommy, that's
- 12:24Speaker 1: what the rep said. We don't know. That's yeah, I
- 12:29Speaker 1: Lebron up the b I don't think if he did that,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I guess the foundation of a couple of different acts.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Then he aggressively charged at me, and then he used
- 12:44Speaker 1: vulgarity in my ear. Yeah, exactly after he didn't throw
- 12:54Speaker 1: an air punch at the relf. I saw that. He
- 12:57Speaker 1: swung in the air like, man, come on, come, he
- 12:59Speaker 1: don't know punch it to little pump behind sports. This
- 13:06Speaker 1: is what they're saying. I saw it, and that's what.
- 13:11Speaker 1: What did you see? Steve? Tell us what? You stop
- 13:14Speaker 1: punch working at the ref? You know how you get
- 13:16Speaker 1: mad punching me? What's the punch? What is that not
- 13:22Speaker 1: crab tree through a punch? That's crab punch. A c
- 13:30Speaker 1: took his helmet off to fight a dude with a helmet.
- 13:34Speaker 1: That's stupid. And they reduced their suspension. They got an appeal.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Now it's one games to Yeah. I don't make no
- 13:43Speaker 1: it don't map no sense. That was right there. That
- 13:48Speaker 1: was a bra what royal? I had crawfish on my man?
- 13:57Speaker 1: That's a boy. How does it feel? How does it
- 14:04Speaker 1: feel to be back home? Nephew? I feel good. You know,
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna take a picture by my uncle's street, you know,
- 14:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, wait, I got to go, yes, take a
- 14:14Speaker 1: picture from posted Tommy. Well, if you do that, the
- 14:17Speaker 1: sign ain't being I know, take a last right. I
- 14:21Speaker 1: was gonna say, how long can you hold hug the
- 14:25Speaker 1: pole before they get your pictures? Okay, I'll tell you what.
- 14:30Speaker 1: This is my challenge. We've got to come give me.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Give us the challenge when we come back. Something funny
- 14:35Speaker 1: coming up with Junior's Truth Be Told, and we'll finish
- 14:38Speaker 1: this Tommy's Challenge thing when we come back at thirty
- 14:41Speaker 1: two after you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, right
- 14:45Speaker 1: before we get to Junior's Truth Be Told. Now, what
- 14:48Speaker 1: was your challenge from the last break. I'm my hang
- 14:51Speaker 1: on the pole for sixty seconds. My uncle's street signe
- 14:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Wait, I'm gonna get on the sign. I'm
- 14:58Speaker 1: gonna climb up the pole and hold on for sixty seconds.
- 15:02Speaker 1: The nephew can do this. Okay, correction, You're gonna climb
- 15:04Speaker 1: up the ladder to get to the pole and then okay,
- 15:07Speaker 1: I see right there, Shirley. Did nobody ask you for
- 15:11Speaker 1: your help? I said, I'm gonna climb up the pole. Okay,
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm not a climb with pole, and I'm an hold
- 15:17Speaker 1: on Steve Harvey Way, and I'm gonna I'm gonna hang
- 15:20Speaker 1: there for the sixties. Johnny grabbed you by the way,
- 15:23Speaker 1: Throw you up. Remember we were kids. Give me a boost,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Give me a boost. Wasn't it like a boost? Throw
- 15:31Speaker 1: him up? I love the bo Okay, all right, we'll
- 15:33Speaker 1: see what happened. Okay, okay, all right, you gonna take
- 15:37Speaker 1: the picture and post it on the ground. I'm gonna
- 15:39Speaker 1: post it on the ground, So you gotta take a
- 15:41Speaker 1: picture in front of that's right, Steve. It's Steve Harvey Way,
- 15:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Way. I got it. There's no agents, no
- 15:50Speaker 1: waves in Steve Harvey Ways for Harvey. That's it, not
- 15:56Speaker 1: for Way. Did you did you start that in Cleveland? Okay,
- 16:02Speaker 1: come on, junior with my first teacher is here in Cleveland,
- 16:05Speaker 1: my first teachers here. Go back and see her, yeah
- 16:08Speaker 1: and say it didn't work. Miss Wander will she is here.
- 16:17Speaker 1: I ain't seen that lady a long time. M One
- 16:21Speaker 1: more time? Was her name? Miss Wander Wheels, my first teacher.
- 16:28Speaker 1: M okay, you're right, yeah it's Wander Wilkins. This one.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Let me ask out something, callers. Yes, uh, y'all, y'all
- 16:39Speaker 1: plan on getting your man's gifts this year? Right? Yeah? Christmas?
- 16:45Speaker 1: Is it gonna be something he won't well? So yeah,
- 16:49Speaker 1: I'm going to put some thought. Yeah, because that's what
- 16:51Speaker 1: I think you said. Keyword because The truth about it is,
- 16:54Speaker 1: we don't give a day about the thought that count.
- 16:57Speaker 1: We won't gifts. We can show out boys the gift
- 17:02Speaker 1: that me and really won't. I know what he said,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I know what I said. I know what I said.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I know I said, you don't really matter, baby, but
- 17:10Speaker 1: didn't do Okay, I know because real low key. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 1: let me tell you we don't want bad gifts. Like
- 17:21Speaker 1: bad gift is winter gloves. We don't our boys don't
- 17:24Speaker 1: ask about winter gloves. They don't ask about that. We
- 17:30Speaker 1: put him in our pocket, don't care about that. It's
- 17:33Speaker 1: another gift. Catch about a rope. Our boys roll beautiful.
- 17:39Speaker 1: We open this box up again and see a role. Okay,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I'll take We're not putting it out. We don't care
- 17:44Speaker 1: about that snip. Excuse me. There's an exception that google
- 17:54Speaker 1: that that, but I ain't experienced that. I'm just don't
- 17:58Speaker 1: talk about what now he gonna want that? Okay, I'm
- 18:04Speaker 1: gonna look into that. I ain't there yet, but I
- 18:06Speaker 1: know the dudes I'll be dealing with. We don't care
- 18:08Speaker 1: about the roads we get okay, but you don't want
- 18:11Speaker 1: to turn cloth that looks like a top burn your
- 18:18Speaker 1: neck up. So as you put it on, Steve, you
- 18:21Speaker 1: know what, the short one because I'm tall. Now your booty,
- 18:28Speaker 1: I got that one pocket pocket, my two pockets one
- 18:35Speaker 1: and the belt on the road the same thickness as
- 18:40Speaker 1: the road. The collar and built is a lighter color
- 18:46Speaker 1: than the road. Gloves road. We don't want none of that.
- 18:51Speaker 1: We don't want. We show our boys that is true.
- 18:55Speaker 1: We won't give that, we said, dude, man, my good man, Amen,
- 18:59Speaker 1: check with my got me watch Most men other than
- 19:05Speaker 1: Rashaan won't so watch you know what? Watch Wow? Did

- 19:17Speaker 1: did you hear I said it? Though? Did you hear me?
- 19:20Speaker 1: I said? You know what? You know? Watch god Dog?
- 19:25Speaker 1: I said it though? Did you hear me? I did?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Wander Wilkins is listening, you know where watch god dogged
- 19:37Speaker 1: when I said it, y'all if y'all rewinding, I'm telling you,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I said, how we gonna rewind it? You know? Well?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Watch y'all heard me? Though? Did you? I'm sorry? You
- 19:52Speaker 1: hear me saying? Because he said what you say? He said?
- 19:56Speaker 1: Sean No, doesn't win, don't something to do it. He
- 20:04Speaker 1: don't quill? What that got? Dog? What is he talking about? Brother?
- 20:16Speaker 1: I know that don't wear watches Rashan. And you say
- 20:19Speaker 1: that so smooth? Say it again, though. The only man
- 20:22Speaker 1: I know that doesn't want a watch or where watches
- 20:27Speaker 1: is rash So what you're saying, Steve, is the only
- 20:29Speaker 1: man that you know that doesn't want to watch or
- 20:32Speaker 1: wear a watch is Rashawn. God man, y'all cold, god, Carla? Yes,
- 20:38Speaker 1: So what Stephen saying? The only man he knows is Rashawn.
- 20:42Speaker 1: He's the only man that doesn't want to wear a watch. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:47Speaker 1: yeah in my urn. And and what Stephen saying is
- 20:50Speaker 1: the only person that don't won't to quill quillime? Quote, well,
- 21:06Speaker 1: you can't do it, terrible as he approached that first,
- 21:11Speaker 1: Well you did say it, right, I said it, man,
- 21:16Speaker 1: I said it clean. Body missed it. I didn't. I
- 21:20Speaker 1: didn't hit it. Only person that don't quote what he said?
- 21:40Speaker 1: You got that part? It feel to you do great ours.
- 21:44Speaker 1: I just you know phone call is coming up next
- 21:48Speaker 1: and we can only hope there's no w than that.
- 21:52Speaker 1: But he called no man, you're listening to the Steve
- 21:57Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour
- 22:00Speaker 1: MS and will be here with our national news and headlines.
- 22:02Speaker 1: But first it's time for the nephew and run that
- 22:06Speaker 1: prank back. You need to wash me another w How
- 22:13Speaker 1: are you gonna do it? Just like that? You need
- 22:15Speaker 1: to wash me? You should. You need to start labeling
- 22:18Speaker 1: your stuff like you know. You need to clean me up.

- 27:13Speaker 1: talking about kicking I will kick yo in the wheelchair.
- 27:17Speaker 1: This seems to be the only language you understand. Is

- 27:46Speaker 1: I've been trying to tell you that is not my job.
- 27:48Speaker 1: You dial the wrong number talking to you. Who are
- 27:52Speaker 1: you talking to like that? We'll bring it out there
- 27:56Speaker 1: if you think you can get in your wheel chair
- 27:58Speaker 1: and make it down here to the nursery, to what
- 28:00Speaker 1: my come the hell own? Listen? Will you would take
- 28:04Speaker 1: a message from me and give it to somebody? What's

- 28:36Speaker 1: what is it? You must spell it up. I'm not
- 28:39Speaker 1: telling that. You tell me what it is? What does
- 28:42Speaker 1: that say? I don't know. Nephew taught me, Nephew Timmy.
- 28:50Speaker 1: This is Nephew Timmy from the Steve Avery Morning Your baby.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You just got pregged by your sister Nita. Oh well,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you were sitting up there like what in the world? Yeah,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you got me, you got me, very, I got you,
- 29:12Speaker 1: I got you. I got one question for you, though.
- 29:14Speaker 1: What is what is the baddest and I mean the
- 29:17Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. It is the Steve
- 29:21Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You got me? Good? What y'all? How
- 29:27Speaker 1: y'all think that win? It was good? You're the king?
- 29:31Speaker 1: Watch out? It sound like a karate movie. Watch up?
- 29:40Speaker 1: Whatever I mean? Cleveland boy, I'm feeling good. You don't understand.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I'm in Cleveland, Man, I I'm here, I'm here. What
- 29:48Speaker 1: are you doing. I'm gonna gonna take a picture by
- 29:51Speaker 1: the same my office, same and I'm doing that today.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Trust me, I'm going to post that today. Well, I
- 29:57Speaker 1: wanted to ask Steve, Steve, how tall do you think
- 30:00Speaker 1: a street sign is from the ground up to Yeah,
- 30:06Speaker 1: let's talk about you know, toyl or four ft? Oh
- 30:10Speaker 1: that high? Yeah. So if Tommy gets the ladder, do
- 30:14Speaker 1: you think he's still gonna get the shot. I'm not
- 30:16Speaker 1: getting a ladder. Me get to the ladder. It'll be
- 30:18Speaker 1: the equivalent of Superman leaping tall buildings in a single
- 30:23Speaker 1: straight up. Okay, take this picture today, Y're gonna get
- 30:27Speaker 1: It's the same amount of dangers what I'm saying. Yeah, whatever, Alright,
- 30:36Speaker 1: a minute ride from where we're coming up. At the
- 30:39Speaker 1: time of the hour, we'll we'll talk to miss Anne.
- 30:42Speaker 1: She's gonna be here with our national news. You're listening
- 30:45Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning show. Women and victims are speaking
- 30:50Speaker 1: out about sexual misconduct in the worst workplace that's been
- 30:54Speaker 1: going on for a few weeks now, from Harvey Weinstein,
- 30:57Speaker 1: Kevin Spacey, multiple executives in hollywoo Wood Washington leaders Al
- 31:01Speaker 1: Franken and John Conyers, and now the media. First Charlie
- 31:05Speaker 1: Rose being fired from CBS last week, and then yesterday,
- 31:09Speaker 1: this was a bombshell for everyone. Yesterday the Today Show
- 31:12Speaker 1: fired Matt Lower. Uh yeah, that was big right there.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Everyone woke up to that news. They fired Matt Lower.
- 31:21Speaker 1: NBC News said the decision was made after a complaint
- 31:24Speaker 1: from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
- 31:28Speaker 1: These women and victims have the right to be in
- 31:30Speaker 1: the workplace environment where they feel safe and protected. Meanwhile,
- 31:35Speaker 1: President Trump tweeted, while Matt Lower was just fired from
- 31:38Speaker 1: NBC for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace, but when
- 31:43Speaker 1: will the top executives at NBC and Comcast be fired
- 31:46Speaker 1: for putting out such so much fake news? Said yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 1: yeah yeah, hold on, man, do it. But I'm but
- 32:05Speaker 1: I'm no, I ain't shock but yeah i am no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm shocked. I'm sorry, man, you know what you want.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Listen to me. I'm forever surprised. People kill me. I'm
- 32:18Speaker 1: not surprised by any of this. You got to be
- 32:22Speaker 1: You gots to be sitting up in here going what dog.
- 32:27Speaker 1: But every little thing you have time for that know,
- 32:33Speaker 1: but you don't. Don't the slavery in Libya. Man, We
- 32:39Speaker 1: we got this little dude over here that's got a
- 32:42Speaker 1: missile that can reach New York. You got dog. You've
- 32:48Speaker 1: got people in this country ain't eating good man, And
- 32:51Speaker 1: you're worried about the dog on NFL players on their
- 32:54Speaker 1: knee when you won't even you won't even take the
- 32:57Speaker 1: time out to even understand what they own they me about.
- 33:00Speaker 1: He understands, he truly understands. He he likes to distract,
- 33:07Speaker 1: He likes to divert your attention to what's really going on,
- 33:10Speaker 1: what he's doing. That's been his whole first year. Right,
- 33:13Speaker 1: there's different. But you know what, Yeah, remember when when
- 33:20Speaker 1: President Trump, or he was a candidate, Trump then bragged
- 33:23Speaker 1: live on the mic about just grabbing women by the
- 33:25Speaker 1: p Remember that he said you could do it when
- 33:28Speaker 1: you're a star, they let you do it. Uh, you know,
- 33:31Speaker 1: he waved that off as just locker room talk. You
- 33:33Speaker 1: could say that and be president, though evidently, and then
- 33:37Speaker 1: he admitted to, he admitted to and apologize for it.
- 33:40Speaker 1: And then now he's doubling back saying that wasn't him
- 33:43Speaker 1: on the tape, then that must not have been Billy
- 33:46Speaker 1: Billy Bush either, Billy Bush job. Go. Yes, and as
- 33:51Speaker 1: that was really man and unfair firing to fire Billy
- 33:56Speaker 1: Bush because he didn't do anything. He was sitting at
- 33:59Speaker 1: talking with a guy who's a billionaire, just on the bus,
- 34:03Speaker 1: just chuckling with him, and he lost his job and
- 34:08Speaker 1: he became president, he was elected. That's backwards, man. Yeah,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I mean, you're right though. Every day it's something, every
- 34:21Speaker 1: single day it's something. It's like we we all need
- 34:24Speaker 1: a break from this situation, yes, Steve, And today we
- 34:30Speaker 1: have a special guest, Baccari Sellers from from CNN uh
- 34:38Speaker 1: huh at a forty one eastern and nine o'clock eastern.
- 34:40Speaker 1: You want to be here. We will talk about the tragic,
- 34:43Speaker 1: horrible situation in Libya and Libya. All right, Steve, please
- 34:47Speaker 1: introduce Miss Anne, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, our
- 34:52Speaker 1: very own miss and true Thanks everybody. Yeah, this is
- 34:56Speaker 1: and two with the news, and yes there is a
- 34:57Speaker 1: lot of it. If you guys have talked about some
- 34:59Speaker 1: of it, a talk about the rest. The president is
- 35:01Speaker 1: now actually campaigning in favor of the Republican tax overhaul bill,
- 35:05Speaker 1: and he's urging his base to let their senators know
- 35:08Speaker 1: that they stand behind it. The President was a Missouri yesterday.
- 35:10Speaker 1: With your help, we can usher in a thrilling new
- 35:13Speaker 1: era of opportunity and growth for this nation that we
- 35:16Speaker 1: love so much. Tax cuts have already passed the House
- 35:21Speaker 1: of Representatives, Bigness big ones. Now the story has gone
- 35:28Speaker 1: from it's going to be good for the middle class
- 35:30Speaker 1: to yes, it is good for the wealthy people. But
- 35:32Speaker 1: the wealthy people will fuel the economy and hire people,
- 35:35Speaker 1: so stories now change. After he gets tax reformed through,
- 35:38Speaker 1: the President promises to try again to repeal the Affordable
- 35:41Speaker 1: Care Act and then work on reforming the nation's welfare system.
- 35:44Speaker 1: Trump's latest tweet, by the way, being condemned by the
- 35:46Speaker 1: British Prime Minister and others. It was actually a retreat
- 35:49Speaker 1: of a bunch of incendiary anti Muslim videos put out
- 35:52Speaker 1: by a group called Britain First. Authorities in the UK
- 35:55Speaker 1: say Britain First is a well known far right organization
- 35:58Speaker 1: and that the second command of organization has already been
- 36:01Speaker 1: convicted of religious aggravated harassment. The videos report to show
- 36:05Speaker 1: Muslims violently attacking people who are not in Muslims wherever
- 36:08Speaker 1: a fact checking group says the video they looked at
- 36:10Speaker 1: an investigate it turned out not to involve any Muslims.
- 36:13Speaker 1: Michigan was Congressman John Conyers facing an ethics committee hearing
- 36:17Speaker 1: over allegations of sexual impropriety and of paying one woman
- 36:20Speaker 1: twenty seven thousand dollars in a settlement. However, while there
- 36:23Speaker 1: are some calls for him to quit the House, most
- 36:25Speaker 1: members of his party and his constituents are supporting the
- 36:28Speaker 1: eighty eight year or lawmaker, especially in light of his record.
- 36:31Speaker 1: He been in the Congress rool of fifty years. He
- 36:34Speaker 1: was an important legislative voice in the fight for civil rights.
- 36:36Speaker 1: He was on the judicis the Judici year. I can't
- 36:39Speaker 1: get that word out this morning, the Judiciary Committee, when
- 36:42Speaker 1: I voted to impeach Richard Nixon, and he's pushed for
- 36:44Speaker 1: reparation for African America. He's done a lot, so he
- 36:46Speaker 1: denies the allegations and right now anyway, shows no signs
- 36:49Speaker 1: of wanting to retire. American Airline says a computer glitch
- 36:53Speaker 1: has resulted in the airline giving too many pilots to
- 36:55Speaker 1: Christmas Week off so now American has a bunch of
- 36:57Speaker 1: flight schedule, but nobody to fly them. By the way,
- 37:00Speaker 1: that current scheduling glitch comes on top of the double
- 37:02Speaker 1: a CPS recent warning to black people to be careful
- 37:05Speaker 1: when flying on American airlines. The Civil Rights Organization issuing
- 37:08Speaker 1: an advisory a few weeks ago saying it noticed a
- 37:10Speaker 1: quote pattern of disturbing incidents reported by African American passengers
- 37:14Speaker 1: specific to American airlines airlines, the incidents that show disrespect
- 37:19Speaker 1: racially and racial bias. Finally, today is Perpetual Youth Day
- 37:23Speaker 1: and national howling at the whole day. And yes, don't
- 37:28Speaker 1: turn that down. We've got a special guest coming up
- 37:29Speaker 1: at a forty one Vacari Sellers from CNN. He's got
- 37:32Speaker 1: a specially report for us on Libya at CNN's Vacari Sellers.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Our special guests at eight forty one Eastern with a
- 37:37Speaker 1: specially report on Libya. Doin the butterfly to ayments after
- 37:41Speaker 1: the hours. Stay tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 38:43Speaker 1: Got it done, real nice. Guess what he said he'd
- 38:45Speaker 1: been to do. Go buy him a twenty folk carrot
- 38:49Speaker 1: gold bar and put it in a while. Nah, the
- 38:53Speaker 1: food didn't check to see how much that day. I'm
- 38:55Speaker 1: going bark house. That's what he didn't do. Now, he
- 38:59Speaker 1: didn't pull it up. Been found out that one gold bar,
- 39:02Speaker 1: it's five hundred and six thousand, four hundred dollars. He
- 39:05Speaker 1: did not check to see how much the damn he
- 39:09Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be about. Now, he's gonna put
- 39:12Speaker 1: it in. He gonna he gonna do something Steve I
- 39:14Speaker 1: ain't doing. He gonna have a gold bar in his house.
- 39:17Speaker 1: He didn't frame that out. Gonna close it in and
- 39:20Speaker 1: put it in a while and people can come out
- 39:21Speaker 1: and look at the at the bar that the gold
- 39:24Speaker 1: bar in his house. Did not realize it was a
- 39:26Speaker 1: half of me or your dollar. I don't understand any
- 39:28Speaker 1: of this. Hold up, dog, dog, you don't put a
- 39:35Speaker 1: gold bar in a frame this food, then please come
- 39:40Speaker 1: back to your house at night and and get the

- 39:49Speaker 1: was buying gold bars, there was about three hundred some
- 39:52Speaker 1: thousand fool is you're listening is you're listening foods, and
- 39:56Speaker 1: you would not put that in your wall on the display.
- 39:59Speaker 1: That's just too easy for people to take trying to
- 40:03Speaker 1: buy trying to do something, Uncle Steve, I ain't done yet.
- 40:06Speaker 1: That's all this and is about trying to do something.
- 40:09Speaker 1: He ain't done. A gold bar five hundred something. Why
- 40:12Speaker 1: would you cut the hole out before you see how
- 40:15Speaker 1: much the damn thing go First, why would you do that? Period?
- 40:18Speaker 1: Why now you got displayed? Now you got a framed

- 41:07Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, you had some questions for
- 41:09Speaker 1: your nephew before we went to break, Tom. Yeah's your question. Man,
- 41:15Speaker 1: don't um Eugene that you was all cutting a hole
- 41:24Speaker 1: in your wall as you was going to display a
- 41:28Speaker 1: gold bar. Yeah that sounds unique, but I was I
- 41:35Speaker 1: was trying to do something different. I wanted to gold
- 41:37Speaker 1: bar and I wanted to like frame it in and
- 41:41Speaker 1: yeah it wasn't at nine in hindsight, it just wasn't
- 41:46Speaker 1: a good idea. But I did you know what's happened.
- 41:52Speaker 1: I didn't know how much the thing called. I thought
- 41:54Speaker 1: I could get a gold bar off for about fifteen twenty.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Now you know, I'm gonna frame it. I didn't know
- 41:59Speaker 1: they called half a million dollars. Oh man, you're gonna
- 42:04Speaker 1: light it up. But you did? You dug the hole
- 42:08Speaker 1: I got. Yeah, I got the guy to come over
- 42:11Speaker 1: and cut the hole in the wall and framed. I
- 42:13Speaker 1: don't know what I'm going to put that none that
- 42:15Speaker 1: change every time I see, huh, you're gonna snatch it
- 42:21Speaker 1: like crap to face the change. Shut up, I'm I'm
- 42:26Speaker 1: I'm I'm stuck, though, dog, What you didn't how much?
- 42:31Speaker 1: How much you think they cost? I thought that about
- 42:33Speaker 1: fifteen Like, I didn't know how much. I did not
- 42:39Speaker 1: know a gold ball was a half a million dollars.
- 42:42Speaker 1: But you're talking about the actual gold bar, a real
- 42:46Speaker 1: gold bar like they had on die Hard that one.
- 42:49Speaker 1: That what I was trying to get. Why did you
- 42:51Speaker 1: want to do that? I mean, what does that mean?
- 42:55Speaker 1: When you do that? It was a I know what
- 42:59Speaker 1: it is. I'm not no, no, no, see that's that
- 43:02Speaker 1: part called flexing. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So he's
- 43:09Speaker 1: gonna have it. People come over his house and look
- 43:12Speaker 1: at the gold bar in a frame. Man, I thought
- 43:15Speaker 1: that was gonna be flying right there. I had the
- 43:17Speaker 1: lights put in and everything. Not Tommy, it was a
- 43:26Speaker 1: bad decision. Surely, I'm talking to my uncle. I know
- 43:35Speaker 1: how to take my fun. But ain't nobody saying nothing
- 43:38Speaker 1: to you though? Just when you over there cooking, no,
- 43:41Speaker 1: nobody say nothing. Stop. Okay, okay, okay. Who has a calculator?
- 43:46Speaker 1: We all put down one thousand, two hundred and sixty
- 43:55Speaker 1: six dollars at nineties okay times four times four hundred
- 44:06Speaker 1: thirty eight, and I did that? How much is that?
- 44:13Speaker 1: Five hundred fifty four thousand, nine hundred and two. That's
- 44:17Speaker 1: where the bar gold costs. Jesus damn. Because this current
- 44:23Speaker 1: price price is twelve hundred sixty six one thousand, two
- 44:28Speaker 1: hundred and sixty six dollars, and per ounce a gold
- 44:33Speaker 1: bar is just a little over four hundred thirty eight ounces,
- 44:38Speaker 1: So that's about I think that. What's that about twenty
- 44:40Speaker 1: five pounds something like that? Oh, thanks for listen. I
- 44:47Speaker 1: didn't know that. But this show my wife cussed me
- 44:52Speaker 1: out by that hole in that But Tommy, what you
- 44:58Speaker 1: was gonna buy gold? Cool and put it in there.
- 45:02Speaker 1: I wanted the bar. I didn't know it's over half
- 45:08Speaker 1: million dollars. But when I looked at listen, you're just
- 45:11Speaker 1: like you looked at it. I thought it was one
- 45:14Speaker 1: thousand and some dollars. I like, I'm going to get
- 45:16Speaker 1: a bunch of eat. I didn't look at it. I
- 45:18Speaker 1: didn't multiply like bars of gold. Let's really be proud
- 45:32Speaker 1: of even just turn off some carrots, all right, listen,
- 45:42Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 45:44Speaker 1: four minutes after, Uh, the strawberry letter is coming up.
- 45:49Speaker 1: But right here it's the pring phone call. You're listening
- 45:52Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 45:55Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after today's
- 45:58Speaker 1: strawberry letter. You don't want him. It's that. But first
- 46:01Speaker 1: it is the nephew with the prank phone call. Shirlette caller.
- 46:07Speaker 1: What's that my comb and brush? My comb and brush? Boy?
- 46:18Speaker 1: This right here home run hire a classic my calming brush. Hello, Hello,
- 46:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach list Yeah, hey, listen, my name Sean.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Uh did you uncle had passed away named yep, all
- 46:37Speaker 1: right here your uncle right, yeah, that my uncle. We
- 46:39Speaker 1: we we were at him about three and a half
- 46:41Speaker 1: months ago. Right. What reason why I was calling was
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm the person that actually cut your ancor hal when
- 46:48Speaker 1: he passed away. So the reason why I was calling is, uh,
- 46:54Speaker 1: the situation is when I cut his hair. And I
- 46:57Speaker 1: know you don't know the history about me, but my
- 47:00Speaker 1: my daddy and my granddadd was was Bobus. We are
- 47:03Speaker 1: bob Us. Okay, get you come on, bro, get down
- 47:05Speaker 1: to the bobble because you trying my uncle mane and
- 47:07Speaker 1: I'm trying to see what's going on for rever, okay,
- 47:10Speaker 1: and I'm trying to call you like this. But what
- 47:12Speaker 1: I'm telling you is that my granddad and my daddy,
- 47:15Speaker 1: they dad passed down a brush and a comb to me. Okay,
- 47:19Speaker 1: that is like a sentimental value, okay, But for the
- 47:24Speaker 1: for the last two or three months, I ain't been
- 47:26Speaker 1: able to find the comb and the brush that I
- 47:30Speaker 1: used what I had cut here now okay, So okay,
- 47:34Speaker 1: go and what I was trying to call and tell
- 47:36Speaker 1: you wasn't that I can't find it. And I'm almost
- 47:40Speaker 1: certain what I'm trying to tell you what I'm little, kay?
- 47:43Speaker 1: What many? So? So what can I do? You find?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Kom brother father? That's what I'm saying. When I did
- 47:49Speaker 1: miss have and ended it up at the funeral, that's
- 47:52Speaker 1: the last time I remember having it, dude, three months
- 47:56Speaker 1: right right, there's about three months ago. What I'm trying
- 47:59Speaker 1: to tell is I left the comb and brush and
- 48:02Speaker 1: you know what, went to gut home and did his half.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Ok And I talked to the funeral home and they
- 48:08Speaker 1: told me that, you know, if I'm trying to find
- 48:11Speaker 1: a comber bro, I gotta get permission. Is the comba brouss?
- 48:14Speaker 1: What's the color of the comba black? That both of black?
- 48:18Speaker 1: The comban black and hard. You got all kind of
- 48:20Speaker 1: combs that black and go man, No, no, don't see.
- 48:24Speaker 1: What I'm saying is the comban brushes black. And I
- 48:27Speaker 1: know I lost it, but I'm almost certain about where
- 48:30Speaker 1: it is, Okay, So if you're satin about where it is,
- 48:33Speaker 1: what you called? That the reason why I'm calling you
- 48:35Speaker 1: because I'm almost certainly not left it with him. You're
- 48:40Speaker 1: listened with my bed on. So so I called funeral.
- 48:44Speaker 1: They told me I need to call you in order
- 48:46Speaker 1: to get permission to get it. Oh till you call funerals,
- 48:50Speaker 1: get permission from me that you can go get the
- 48:52Speaker 1: comban brothers from left the funeral. You go down there,
- 48:57Speaker 1: they got no no. I see the car only brush
- 49:00Speaker 1: ain't with the funeral. The comban brush is in there
- 49:04Speaker 1: with your uncle. The word the comb and brush is
- 49:09Speaker 1: in the cave you don't know about on the other states.
- 49:14Speaker 1: You got to say that again. What what I'm trying
- 49:16Speaker 1: to say to you is that the comb and brush
- 49:19Speaker 1: is I'm trying to say, just say what I'm trying
- 49:22Speaker 1: it that the Colman brush is in the casket with
- 49:25Speaker 1: your uncle. It since in that is six let's see. See.
- 49:30Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is that the comban brush
- 49:32Speaker 1: is sentimental value to me. Bro It couldn't have been
- 49:36Speaker 1: through value. But if you lost it, what now what
- 49:39Speaker 1: it wants got value? You know my work? So I
- 49:42Speaker 1: just really got caught up in my work. If you
- 49:45Speaker 1: talk about the left with my uncle that they did
- 49:48Speaker 1: three months ago, Man, what kind of you talking about
- 49:51Speaker 1: all I'm trying to do what you would see if
- 49:53Speaker 1: if you don't mind, approven for them to bring the
- 49:57Speaker 1: body up so I can get the comb and brush.
- 50:01Speaker 1: You know what's body there for comba. But but but
- 50:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain it this sentimental value. I'm trying
- 50:08Speaker 1: to get you all the brain the body so I
- 50:10Speaker 1: can get my comb and brush out of it. Because,
- 50:12Speaker 1: like I say, my dad and my granddad was bom.
- 50:15Speaker 1: This little thing is sentimentally. You're talking about my dead
- 50:18Speaker 1: uncle man, and you're talking about bringing him up out
- 50:20Speaker 1: of the ground for combe. Man. I just got these
- 50:24Speaker 1: to start crying around here, and and I understand what
- 50:27Speaker 1: y'all going through as as a family and stuff. She know,
- 50:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to get my combing and how you trying
- 50:33Speaker 1: to go about doing this all? Throw it off on boy,
- 50:35Speaker 1: because ain't nobody digging up, nobody to bring back. No,
- 50:38Speaker 1: no brush man, you don't got me tist off now,
- 50:40Speaker 1: mane because you're coming to me talking stupid mane. You
- 50:43Speaker 1: talk about put on my mom huncle man. That's man,
- 50:45Speaker 1: that's feok And I ain't trying to start. No, you're
- 50:48Speaker 1: talking about comb and brushman only. But I understand all that.
- 50:52Speaker 1: But this is a sentimental value, man in the middle.
- 50:55Speaker 1: To me, man, just something that my people list sentimental
- 50:58Speaker 1: to me? Okay, go to my man. Okay, you're talking
- 51:01Speaker 1: about putting up this body. Man, I got a block.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Hey man, man, I'm I don't want to you give
- 51:07Speaker 1: me because of my grand that's all man. You shouldn't
- 51:09Speaker 1: know how you got free. Man, if we don't get
- 51:11Speaker 1: out like this here, man, I ain't been sitting and
- 51:13Speaker 1: argue with you. Look, I got some tea. I just
- 51:17Speaker 1: I got something. I mean, will you staying? Let me
- 51:20Speaker 1: say this. I got some people that's here with me
- 51:22Speaker 1: right now. You know, some of my friends, and we
- 51:25Speaker 1: got some shovels, so I could actually go over and
- 51:28Speaker 1: and go on and get the caller and in the morning,
- 51:31Speaker 1: ain't nobody gonna even know. You ain't gonna gonna get now.
- 51:34Speaker 1: But what it all board to say? What you don't get,
- 51:37Speaker 1: you don't dig. We're going to get a comb, And
- 51:40Speaker 1: I got him said, with two of you talking about
- 51:42Speaker 1: going several tests, I dig an, Hey man, I'm gonna
- 51:44Speaker 1: go on on and tell you just like here, Hey man,
- 51:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to get my comb and brush back. I
- 51:51Speaker 1: ain't trying to have no problems with you, So I
- 51:53Speaker 1: want my comb and put heads. You think you're talking
- 51:56Speaker 1: to them right, Go wrong, group, go wrong green Bloom
- 52:00Speaker 1: wanna safe cold? They got him about. I didn't know.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Ain't nobody this madn't even about your uncle. That's Lord
- 52:07Speaker 1: in that this you got Lord to be hiding in
- 52:10Speaker 1: me and nobody huling at you. Man. I'm telling you
- 52:14Speaker 1: in I gotta call it bush in your uncle Kaki,
- 52:17Speaker 1: and I want my puss where you did want that
- 52:19Speaker 1: you might dick too, tray what on the bush and
- 52:23Speaker 1: you're gonna find right over in there by you're telling
- 52:27Speaker 1: you you're trying to dig are grateful me? Do you
- 52:29Speaker 1: know this, baby, I've been trying to get these here.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Stop crying, may baby. I did you with his body?
- 52:38Speaker 1: I did you, baby boy, I understand what you're gonna do. Dude,
- 52:46Speaker 1: if do it, I told you, I under want craze
- 52:50Speaker 1: and I want you could have like a couple of
- 52:52Speaker 1: digging on somebody about it man over calling or bush
- 52:55Speaker 1: I got it. I just tried to call you like
- 52:59Speaker 1: a man because I want to get the comb and
- 53:01Speaker 1: Brooks and I didn't want to go without give your
- 53:04Speaker 1: permission now, but I gotta go without getting your permission.
- 53:07Speaker 1: We are always read the cry I would read you know,

- 53:45Speaker 1: craked by your boys? But everything's got a breast of
- 53:51Speaker 1: the card hood. Who I think I needed that cry?
- 54:01Speaker 1: And man, I gotta ask you, man, what is the

- 55:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Today's Strawberry Letter is up next. You're listening
- 55:08Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up next, Today's
- 55:12Speaker 1: crazy Strawberry letter. You do not want to miss that.
- 55:15Speaker 1: But first Congress is top Democratic leaders abruptly pulled out
- 55:19Speaker 1: of a plan meeting with President Trump after he attacked
- 55:22Speaker 1: them on Twitter, casting doubt on the prospects for a
- 55:25Speaker 1: quick agreement to avert a government shutdown at the end
- 55:28Speaker 1: of the week. At the end of next week, I
- 55:30Speaker 1: should say. Trump tweeted that I don't see a deal
- 55:33Speaker 1: with Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer and top House Democrat
- 55:37Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi of California, and accused them of being soft
- 55:40Speaker 1: on crime, taxes, and illegal immigration. Schumer responded by saying,
- 55:45Speaker 1: given that the President doesn't see a deal between Democrats
- 55:48Speaker 1: and the White House, we believe the best path forward
- 55:51Speaker 1: is to continue negotiating with our Republican counterparts in Congress instead. Schumer, Okay,
- 55:58Speaker 1: did you see the president with the empty chairs with
- 56:00Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi? And I don't see the president. I saw
- 56:03Speaker 1: Donald Trump. Did you see him trying to shame them
- 56:06Speaker 1: though showing their empty chair this guy, yeah, because he
- 56:11Speaker 1: didn't want to discuss it. The text thing with them,
- 56:13Speaker 1: He didn't want to discuss it, and they were like
- 56:15Speaker 1: been hear what they had? They were like started tweeting, going,
- 56:19Speaker 1: if he's not gonna hit listen to it. Could have
- 56:23Speaker 1: actually been president? You really couldn't You could have actually
- 56:28Speaker 1: been I would I would actually be a better president.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Yes she was, Yes, I have news could be president
- 56:38Speaker 1: based on what we see and what come on I
- 56:40Speaker 1: see here. I ain't going for that one. I go.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna go for time. Anybody had to go. I'll
- 56:52Speaker 1: take Tommy any day. Sorry, they're gonna see Trump. What
- 56:58Speaker 1: Time ain't even do is just d my family into
- 57:01Speaker 1: this personal damn Steve, your nephew. Yeah, it wouldn't be
- 57:13Speaker 1: worse than when we lord no Lord, no law. I
- 57:19Speaker 1: predict Sarah Huckabee is gonna quit get five. Well you
- 57:22Speaker 1: usually write about these things, Steve. But I think she's
- 57:26Speaker 1: pretty Yeah, I don't know. She seems pretty tough to me.
- 57:29Speaker 1: All right, come on, let's get to the letter. Let's
- 57:33Speaker 1: get it. Let's get it. Buggle up, hold on tight,
- 57:36Speaker 1: we got it for you. Here it is the Strawberry Letter. Alright,
- 57:39Speaker 1: subject he is never satisfied. I really don't know what
- 57:43Speaker 1: to do. I need a man's perspective on this issue.
- 57:46Speaker 1: At thirty four, and I've been happily married for almost
- 57:49Speaker 1: five years. We have no children. My husband and I
- 57:53Speaker 1: are very much in love. Most of our friends idolize
- 57:56Speaker 1: our relationship. People say we look like we're in love.
- 57:58Speaker 1: The problem is that he is not satisfied with me sexually.
- 58:03Speaker 1: Here's a line that gets me. Though we do it
- 58:05Speaker 1: four to six times a week. He work full time.
- 58:10Speaker 1: He works full time and goes to the gym. I
- 58:13Speaker 1: work full time and go to school full time. Sometimes
- 58:15Speaker 1: I am so tired it is all I can do
- 58:17Speaker 1: not to fall asleep during the day. I know my
- 58:20Speaker 1: husband has an enormous sex drive. Mine is not as big. However,
- 58:24Speaker 1: I do please him four to six times a week.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Anything goes and there are no inhibitions. Every once in
- 58:32Speaker 1: a while, I just did not have the energy to
- 58:35Speaker 1: do anything. He feels I'm neglecting him, and I feel
- 58:38Speaker 1: he's being insensitive to the daily demands I face. Every day.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I work with juvenile delinquents, and that is stressful. I
- 58:45Speaker 1: deal with prejudice classmates who believe a black woman doesn't
- 58:48Speaker 1: deserve to acquire anything in this world, and I come
- 58:51Speaker 1: home to a man who gets upset if I don't
- 58:53Speaker 1: give in. Let's say give in, because it seems as
- 58:56Speaker 1: if I'm performing a job and it is not from
- 58:59Speaker 1: mutual enjoyment. There is no spontaneity on his part, and
- 59:03Speaker 1: it's the same routine all the time. Now, come home,
- 59:06Speaker 1: bathe inimacin homework, and sleep. I am not always ready
- 59:10Speaker 1: for intimacy, but that soon changes. What should I do
- 59:13Speaker 1: to make him understand that it is okay if I
- 59:15Speaker 1: say no, and it doesn't mean I'm not attracted to him,
- 59:18Speaker 1: but really tired. He does things to ease the load,
- 59:22Speaker 1: like housework and cooking, but it seems like it's done
- 59:24Speaker 1: only to make time for me to be intimate with
- 59:26Speaker 1: her and not for me to relax. I really don't
- 59:30Speaker 1: know what to do, and we have been having this
- 59:33Speaker 1: problem for the last three years of our marriage, since
- 59:35Speaker 1: I've gone back to school. In parentheses, it's not an issue.
- 59:38Speaker 1: It was not an issue before that. This is my
- 59:40Speaker 1: last year of school. I'm in the honor Society. It
- 59:43Speaker 1: has taken me a long time to achieve this goal.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I need all the support I can get from him,
- 59:48Speaker 1: and I feel more stressed than anything. It is important
- 59:50Speaker 1: to remember he is a good man and better than most.
- 59:54Speaker 1: The only issue is sometimes sex. Should I go on
- 59:58Speaker 1: strike or what. Thank you for anything you and surely
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: can tell me really perplexed. Yeah, okay, really perplexed. Yeah, okay,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: really perplexed. Let's start, thank you. Let's start by saying, alright, listen,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: don't I have a good memory, thank you very much,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: don't let be quiet? See all right, Let's start by saying,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you have what a whole lot of women want. A
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: man with a healthy sex drive who helps with the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: housework and cooks. Okay, four to six times a week.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: It is going on in your house. Let me just
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: say that. And you know, we don't get a letters
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: a lot of letters like this, We really really don't.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: And I don't want to just dismiss your problem and say, girl,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: be thankful for your good man and stop complaining because
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: your issue is real to you. And what I hear
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you saying is you're tired and stress because you have
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a heavy load. You talked about it, you got work,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: you got school, and all this sex. I commend you
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: for your and all the sex. I command you for
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: your hard work. I do commend you for that and
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: encourage you to hang in there and finish. Listen, listen,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: But because you say, shut up, Steve, because you say
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: he didn't act like this before you went to school,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: before you went back to school. I'm thinking he's feeling
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: probably insecuing, maybe a little intimidated by all of this,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: the constant sex, regardless of how you're feeling, maybe helping
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: him to, you know, keep a grip on who's the man. Okay,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: he might be feeling like you're he's losing you or something. Um,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and you probably are neglecting him. I gotta be honest
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with you. I mean, how can you not. You're on
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: the honor society, You've got homework, You've got all this
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: stuff going on, so um, you know, you may not.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: It may not be intentional though it may not be intentional.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: It may not be intentional. It may not be intentional.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: But no, I but it may not be intentional. You know,
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: sometimes you do things and you don't even realize it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: But tired or not tired, I do think that tell
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: you should not go on strike. I don't think you
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: should go on strike. I really don't actual neglected him
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and doing six. She might be she's got a lot
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: going on, She's got a day seven days, seven days,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: seven days. He might be feeling like that. She might
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: not be, you know, she might not. I don't think
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: she's doing it intentional, of course not anyway, she just
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: needs to machine down to tell him you love him.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Stroking ego a little bit more. Yes, you ain't saying
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you didn't have a reply now. I just had her
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: down talk to him, stroking sego a little bit more.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: That's what he's feeling, intimidated because she's getting all this education.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: He thinks he's losing her. That's what it is. Okay,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, just
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: a reminder, I think Carla mentioned it earlier. In about
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: twenty minutes, we will have a Cary Sellers from CNN
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: on with us. He's going to uh tell us some
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: startling information and give us some facts about what's going
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: on in Libya that we all need to be aware of.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: That's in about twenty minutes. You don't want to miss that.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: But first come on, Steve, let's get part two of
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: your response to today's Strawberry letter. Here we go, subject
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: he is never satisfied. I really don't know what to do.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I need a man's perspective on this issue. You don't.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: I'm thirty four years old. I'm happily married for almost
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: five years. We have no children. My husband now very
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: much in love. He is not satisfied with me sexually.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: We do it fho to six times a week. He
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: worked full time and go to the gym. I work
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: full time and go to school full time. Sometimes I'm
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: so tired it's all I can do not to fall
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: asleep during the day. I know my us has an
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: enormous sex line and mine is not as big. However,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I do please him pholt to six times. We are
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: change that any time anything goes and there's no inhebience.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: Every once in a while, I just do not have
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: the energy to do anything. He feels like I'm neglecting here,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: and I feel like he's being insensitive to the daily
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: demands I face every day. I work with you and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: not the linkers, and this is stressful. I did with
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: prejudic classmate who believe a black woman don't deserve to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: quire nothing in this. Well, now I come home to
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: a man who gets up set. If I don't give,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: he give in. I just give in cause it seems
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: if I am performing a job and it's not for
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: mutual enjoyment, there's no spontaneity on his part, and it
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: is the same routine all the time, Come home, babe, intimacy,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: homework to sleep. I'm not always ready for intimacy, but
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: that soon changes. What should I do to make him
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: understand that it's okay if I say no, And it
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: don't mean I'm not attracted to him, But I'm really tired.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: He tells things he used to work load at the house,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: like couldn't cleaning, But I've seen he's done only this
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: to make time for me and be into me with him,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: and not for me to relax. I really don't know
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: what to do. Good boys than this house you got? Now? Look,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: if it's important to remember he is a good man
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and better than most. Don only is you sometimes say
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: should I gonna strike? Or what? Thank you for anything?
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: You and Shirley can really tell me? First of all,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you in love and in a relationship with a sex
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: crazy man six times a week. You are putting to
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the test by a man who works and go to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: the gym. Now, Shirley, I gotta point out to you,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: she didn't say that he wasn't like this before they
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: got married. He would just saying she just saying it
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: wasn't a problem for they got mad. But see, when
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: you ain't mad, you don't stay at the house. It's
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: different when you have a sex six times at the
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: house and he stayed there. It's that see you dropping
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: by going home when you live apart. But when you're
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in the same house and you come through the dough
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you dog tired, you kick your shoes and standing at
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: the foot of the stepson riding just standing there, got
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: his hand pockets, he just looking at you. He got
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: a vacuum cleaning one hand, and two dishes in the
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: hedn't done everything at the house. He didn't pick len
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: off the bed. They'll ain't got no kids because he
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: don't want no kids, because they're gonna get in the
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: damn way. See if you have to change some divers
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: and do some homework like I gotta do, and then
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: put the baby in the bed, it ain't time for
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: all that. Hell, he'll be tied to. Your solution to
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: this whole thing is have yourself a set of twins
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: that slow all down. We're cut back on all that.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: What he want to do, he gonna try to not
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: even come home. Sometime you're in a bad situation. Look
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: here here, the copar right here. This is a bad situation.
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: This is a bad situation. If you have six six
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: times and you don't want to fold him, that's a
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: bad situation. See not no sex is bad, but too
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: much is bad too. Listening to keep on, they the
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: friends and think they just they idolized their relationship. Or
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: she's saying that they don't know half to hear. I'm
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: catching at this out. He ain't satisfied with me sexually.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: It ain't that he ain't satisfied with sexually. Baby, he
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: ain't satisfied with itself. I could do a million jokes
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: on you, but homeboy just ain't satisfied with itself. And
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: he's trying to prove a point. See he shot in
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: another category, big in this category. All right, thank you, Steve.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: You know we got to get out of here. Please
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: join me at one thirty one thirty. It is going
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: down today the Strawberry Letter Live After show on Facebook.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: But right now, let's introduce our girl from the Talk Underwood.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. Harvey had enough time to let the
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: sister get in Buckingham Palace. Now they already talked about
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Matt Low. I got fired. Now let me highlight what
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the girl that megan where they Maga Marco from Windsor Hills,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the Windsor Palace. That's right, we got a black girl
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: in the royal family. I don't know why nobody wants
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: to say she's black. Yeah they come, well, see we're
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: gonna say it. She from Windsor Hills. Yeah, the Winter
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Hills part of l a black for real though, Mama
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: got twist and do yoga yogas, both of them, all
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: of us going to England for the wedding. Okay, we
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: don't get a faster night up or we're gonna go
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: get our hats from especially yours a good church website
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: where you can get your church out fit and match,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: because that's what they do in English over there. Listen,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: do you know who we needed to fan as I
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: get ready to this bright That's sister that was trying
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: to get evidence about you'll being bullying and now she
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: on felony child That ain't even right. Yeah, I saw
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: you saw that that black lady put the camera and
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: her baby's backpack. Yes, because they her kids said she
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: was being bullied at school and the parents, uh wrote
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: the school emailed the school, no response for everybody. Yeah,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: she has everyone. They didn't respond to her. So she
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: put a camera in her child's backpack. They discovered the
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: camera in her backpack at school and kicked the kid out.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: And now the mom's up on charges and she could
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: and she should get off of that. She should get
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: off of that, just like Lenda Trip got off of
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: that when she was recording Monica Lewinsky talking about the dress.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna need being crump, I'm gonna need all the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: bar associations they helped this sister get off them charge
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and don't let it affect her job. And she ain't
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: got to check a box when she tried to get
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: a job anywhere else. That's how we don't show felony
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: recording camera equipment, and at school you're not supposed to
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: record and equipment, record recording equipment. We're recording to somebody
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: that they don't know. But she needed to get the law.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: You can't record people out there. You can't show me
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: whipping your kids asked without asking me, there you go,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: there you go, But you know what that means, sir,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: But we stay won't go to Steve go ahead. Parent
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: has the right to protect their child coming up at
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: forty one after the hour, come Sellers right after the
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: clares Nigelni, you're listening to our folks, listen, Uh, we've
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: really the situation in Libya is so deplorable and so
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's it's almost unexplainable. I just felt
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: like I wanted to bring somebody on who could enlighten
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: us all to make us just get a real understanding
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: of actually what's going on, who's behind it, and the
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: awareness of it. Because this situation in Libya about people
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: being enslaved and soul bought into slaveys and cannot be
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: happening today, and we don't think that the media is
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: giving it enough push. I don't see any governments or
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: nat or or United Nations coming to the aid of
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: these people. So to get a better understanding of we
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: asked Pcari Sellers, a friend of the show, to come
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: on and give us his take and just enlighten us
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: in his own way as to what this is. Pcari,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: how you doing? Man doing well? And thank you guys
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: for shining some light on this issue, because it seems
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: as if you know, anything that doesn't involve Russia or
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Donald Trump doesn't get the attention it deserves, or North
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Korea for that matter, But um, many people don't even
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: know how they started. A few weeks ago, there was
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: some cell phone footage that got sent to CNN about
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: a real life slave trade going on in Libya, and
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: so seeing in the whole undercover crew and they witnessed,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: uh slave, a slave trade in nine different parts of
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: the country where black and brown bodies, mostly migrants and refugees,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: were being sold forward the littlest four hundred dollars into
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: the slave trade. And so recently there's been some outrage
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: at the u N and Nikki Haley, the United States
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Ambassador to the u N, and the UN Security Council
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: of that simply add for an investigation. But as we know,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: that's that's nowhere near enough. And so, um, you have
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: millions upon millions of people who are involved in human trafficking.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: But I think it shocks the conscience when you see
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: these brown bodies things that we read about in our
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: history books, but being shackled and sold for you know,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: four hundred bucks. And to whom were they being sold?
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I mean, who's buying them? Well, I mean you have
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: various people, you you have individuals you have individuals from
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: Europe coming in and buying these people. You have other
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Africans that are buying these people. Um. But I think
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: that Antonio Gutierrez, who is the u n UH Secretary General,
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: he said it best that the root causes of the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: trafficking and slavery that we see our poverty and the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: fact that people don't have access to the basic necessities
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: and so they find themselves indebted to other individuals and
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: then sold and so one of the things that people
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: have to be willing to do. As I know, we
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: just came off a giving Tuesday, but you have to
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: be focused on giving to entasies that can really help
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: solve this what I believe to be a global crisis.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: I mean, I think we can walk into Bubba gum.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: At the same time. We can talk about bigotry in
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: the White House, we can talk about the foreign policy
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: of North Korea, but we can also care about the
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: injustices that are going on, you know, in our native land. Okay,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: so let me ask you this for cards, so so
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: we can get a clear understanding these migrants are coming
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: from where to where They're coming from other African countries
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: to Libya and it's simply it's as if you find
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: some of the migrants or refugees, some of the migrants
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: or refugees that come to the United States, and let's
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: say they come over and they participated and some of
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: our agricultural industry or other other industries, and then they're
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: just swept up off the street because they don't have ideas,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: they don't have any any identification that showed that they
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: belong to anyone or that they're from anywhere. And uh,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: they're they're literally put on their measure. They see whether
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: or not they're good breeders. The men and women are separated.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: The same stories you read about the transit managed slave
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: trade is what's going on right now in Libya. And
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: the travesty about this whole thing is that the Libyan
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: government knows what's going on and it's not doing anything
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: to stop it. Wow. Not. Let me ask you this question.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Is there a particular rhyme or reason why they chose
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: to migrate to Libya. Well, that's a good question. I mean,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I think that many people were rude the Libya for
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: because of the fact that there was quote unquote opportunity
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: or the perception that there was opportunity. And so when
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: you have other war torn regions around to escape that
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you go to a place where you think you can
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: have peace and prosperity, not knowing that when you get there,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: you're gonna be shackled and sold. Okay, so let me
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: ask you this man, what is it that we can do?
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Because what I was talking to Bishop Jake's about it
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: this morning. We were texting back and forth and he
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: put up a very powerful post on his website and
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: he asked me to repost it last night and I
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: did it. We we were talking about a possible plan
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: of action because he I have a lot of followers.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: You know, he has a lot of followers. But we
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: need some direction as to what we could do. Do
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: we put pressure on who in our government? Who in
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: the U n who at where can we put pressure?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: That's a good question to draw attention. So the first
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: thing we need to do is focus our attention on
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Nikki Hayley, who is a former governor of South Carolina.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: She's a friend of mine and she's actually taking baby steps.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: But I think the more pressure we put on her.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: She has a lot on her plates, but the more
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: pressure we put on her, the more. She can make
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: this the priority. She is who represents our interests. She
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: is the ambassador from the United States to the U
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: n And so you can start by simply calling your
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: United States Englishman and you'll be surprised the members of
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: Congress that don't even know this is going on and
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: saying that you want to make sure that this is
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: on the forefront of what's going on in our foreign policy,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: and this is something that Nicki Haley has focused on.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: So that's one name, and then you need to make
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: sure that people are if they can give. There's one
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: organization that is dedicated to stopping this type of human
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: trafficking and slavery, and that's the United Nations Refugee Agency.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: Just google it. I mean we google everything else. If
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: we want to find out who, you know, Chanelle West
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Coast is a somebody like that, we sow it into Google.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: So let's at least google the United Nations Refugee Agency
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: and look at the work that they're doing. And look
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: at the end of the day, imagine in the World
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Food Program is another one. Saved the children, an ox
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: fan we all know those, but imagine if you donate
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: five dollars or twenty dollars, and you can literally stop
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: a body from being sold to someone else sold in
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: the slavery where their rates their brutalized, they're beaten, their
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: there worked for a little to nothing, and then they're
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: indebted in generations after them, are indebted for the rest
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: of their lives. And so we can stop this if
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: we if we focus on it and put our efforts
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: on it, especially during this holiday season. Okay, So I
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: got two questions for you here. I don't know if
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Shirley asked this before because I was trying to write
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: this information down, so a bricard. Hold on one second.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: We'll be right back with more on this very very
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: important issue concerned and Livy. So stay right there, folks.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: We've got some real information you're listening too, All right, y'all,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: we're back. We got more with Bucari sellers here. So
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I got two questions for you here. Who's buying the slaves?
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: So that that's one of the interesting things because on
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: the videos that we see, we see other Africans who
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: are buying these slaves. Um, So you see some of that,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: but you also see something that's why many people in
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: the UK as well the United Kingdom are putting pressure
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: on their government because there is a theory, and I
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: think it's a justified theory that a lot of these
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: slaves are also ending up in Europe and so um.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: You know, this is a new question and one of
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: the most amazing things. And we always talk about a
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: free you know, free a free press and freedom of
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: the press. And this is why journalists are so courageous,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: because we literally had journalists from you know, the fake
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: news CNN undercover who record these incidents from happening and
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: seeing an International did it. And then you know, Donald
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: Trump said that seeing an International was fake news and
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: didn't represent the world around, didn't represent us around the world.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: The Libyan government said that Date discounted the report because
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: CNN I is fake news, as President Trump said. So
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: that's why these things are all important. I'm just I'm
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: I'm happy that someone, you know, took the initiative to
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: go over there and and see what's happening and to
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: to to bring back, you know, to bring back the
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: news to us. It's not enough of that. It's not
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: enough of that, unfortunately. But I definitely applaud CNN for
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: the work they did to go over there. And the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: bravery it took took over there and go undercover and
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: and look into this. This is horrible. Yeah, well I'll
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: tell you something else here. This is the beginning for us,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: because we've got to do something. Like Baccari said, we
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: can walk and chew bubble at the same time. I
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: know it's about going on in this country because every
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: time you wake up, you look at the president, you
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: just want to go, Okay, man, what now, don't It's
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: like sending a bad kid off to school and the
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: teacher keep calling the house your baby. Then told the
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: signs down at the school your baby and broke the
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: windows out todaycare you know, it's just like it's like damn.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I mean, man, I wish the president would just go
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: play golf for two months. Not that he needs to
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: play golf, just give us a damn break. Just we
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: need that. Yeah that man. So car, this is what
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: we want to do. We're gonna stay in touch with you.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: We're gonna put together a plan of action with your
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: with your help to get us the right people like
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Nicki Haley and things like that. And then by the
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: time we get it organized, may be you know, later
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: in the week. Our early part next week. Let's make
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: early part next week to go. We'll we'll have you
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: back on the and we'll say, Okay, all the nine
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: million people that listen to this show, this is what
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: we're going to do today. And we're gonna push eyeballs
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: and ears and attention to this matter. And then the
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: next day we're gonna write all the senators, and then
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: we're gonna write Nicki Haley. We're gonna email and call
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: because they're cool, the people who depend on us and
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: that people who need us, and we're all in this together. Okay, cool? Hey, Pcar,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: thank you so much. Brother. Appreciate bad boy, So you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: know what y'all, I mean, I appreciate the card calling in.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: You know, I think that this is something that we
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: were going to wrap out minds and efforts around because
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: this is crazy. Yeah, we can we can give you know,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: to help over there as well, but you know, I
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: think it's I think it's something else because I don't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: know what you could give. Well the problem. We got
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: to put pressure because it ain't nowhere else to fly
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: in and check it out for ourselves. Because you fly
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: with Libby if you want to, you know, man, it
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: might not go good. But I think there's some pressure
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: that we could put on our government to do something
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: to bring about awareness, right and to report on it.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I mean, why is it just CNN. I mean we
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: need to see it all over, that's the big thing. Yeah,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: all over, NBC, ABC, MFN, MSNBC, Fox. You know, everybody
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: needs to be a part of this. This is human trafficking, slavery.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I mean, this is like, yeah, people being sold for
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: four d dollars. Come on, now, this is this is
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: horrible stuff we're talking about. Are you an ambassador? NICKI
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Haley is one person? He said, we can we can
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: reach out to Yeah, calling our congress people. Are congressmen,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: are congresswomen. We need to find out who they are,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: call them, right them, let them know what's going on Google,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: he said, the UN Refugee Agency. Find out what that
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: organization is all about and how we can help in
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: that way. And Steve, you know, thank you for caring
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: enough and bringing it to our attention and to everyone's attention,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: you know, on this show as well, letting getting the
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: word out because this is a word that definitely well,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest to be heard. Yesterday morning, my
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: wife was just sitting up on the computer crying. Yeah,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and I'm saying what he did? Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's automatic.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: I ain't gonna lie to you. I just man, damn
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I do. I said, Babe, what's wrong? She says, Steve,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: we got to do something about what n issue? She
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: thought about it, the Libya thing. She said, this is horrible?
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: What can we do? So you know, I got to
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: talk and there I said, I'll do something. When I
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: came in last night, it was the same thing. She
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: was on it and I just said, okay, cool. So
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: this morning I had to make that a priority. But
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: I want to thank y'all all too, because you all
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: respond immediately. I say, guys, look, we need to do
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: and then you guys wouldn't got Bacari on the phone,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: so we can start getting some movement. I've been talking
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: with Bishop Jake's, were texting with Bishop TV Jake's this
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: morning about it because he asked me to repost this
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: video and I posted it last night, so I'm gonna
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: repost again. I just appreciate you guys for jumping on
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: it this morning. Uh, you know, contacting car we had
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: talked about several things we could do, so it's not
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: just me, you know, it's my team that cares also,
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: and and and and once it was really just me
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I did. I did most of the work. I did
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: pretty much home. No, we have to give credit where
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: credit is due, Mississippi Monica, our time help a car
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: renumber girl about I did want to say that this
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Libya issue is all over social media as well. I
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: mean people are posting about it, they're showing pictures about it.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: So if you don't know where we're talking about, you
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: can go to social media and find out. Social media
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: is not where this is gonna. I mean, look, it
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: would help if we take social media to drive people
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: to a point of action, because we've got to get
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: media attention on this, and we've got to get the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: United Nations and these governments involved. This is big, you
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: know it is. And we'll be back Steve. You're listening
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's that time. She is here,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the one and only call a feral with reality. I
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: love that reality. I like that note. Alright, nephew, here
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: we go. Real Housewives of Atlanta crew. Here's the thing.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Things are going good for Candy. Candy. On this episode,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: she and her husband Todd went to New York to
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: do her photo shoot for the cover of Essence magazine.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: So that's cool. Candy is uh really moving up in
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: doing good things. Is basically saying, though it's hard being
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: a boss, balancing a career and family life. But you
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: know her and Todd, they are working together as husband
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: and wife, as a power couple, and they try hard please.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: So anyways, I would just want to shout out to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Candy Portia and her sister Lauren. They were kind of
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: having a little drama. They squashed their beef though, and
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: Porsche had a real moment and she made up with
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: her sister and she revealed how much she really loves
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: her sister. It was tough love that Porsche was given Lauren,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: and now they have made up and they're good. Ninie's husband, Greg,
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: he had a health scare. Good news though he was
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: released from the hospital. He didn't have any blockage in
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: his arteries, but he does having a regular heartbeat. So
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Ninie was very very concerned about Greg. But he's released
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: from the hospital, so that's good news. Can I tell
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: you something, Greg, Greg is a good brother man. He's
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: really love him. If you real life, He's He's a
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: real deal. He's a man's man for real. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: very wise, very wise man. That's Greg is a good brother.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Every time I'm meeting he the same. He's a solid dude. Yeah,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: we like Greg leaks. Nini decided to throw a party
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: and she decided not to invite Porsche. Nini actually said
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: that Porsche was on her I don't give an f list.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: So anyway, fast forward to the party, Say bar Kim
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: Zolziak's her plus one to the party, and Nini was
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: surprised to see Kim at the party. Kenya's husband came
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: up again and Kim she doesn't believe that Kenya's husband
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: is real. So take a listen to this. Well, where
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: is he worry about your husband? My husband's real as
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: really as you're harry face. I realized about you know,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: you're asking about my life. Why is Kim so obsessed
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: with me? And why is she so angry? If she's
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: so happy with her ten kids and her husband and
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: all of that, why is she so focused on me?
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: It's all about your boy surgery. Don't worry about me.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Why are you so concerned? You have something to hunt?
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: Worry about your life and his daughter. You can't find
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: for John. Letchen take it. That round goes if you
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: go play the ranking game. Yeah, here's you got it. No,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Kenya is to be toyed with. So who was she
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: was arguing with Kim Zosia. Can you remember the white
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: girl that was on the show from the very beginning.
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: She's back and Kim doesn't believe that Keny, your husband
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: is real. He doesn't exist. So you heard that heated exchange.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: You heard that exchange go back and forth, right, So
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: at the end of it, that looks like they were
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: about to get up and fight. Now what she was
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: talking about when Kenya was talking about Kim's daughter with
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: the John Legend tickets. Kim sent a tweet out a
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: long time ago asking about John Legend tickets and who
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: did her daughter have to get with, so to speak,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: to get these John Legend. But it was a joke.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Her daughter is twenty years old. It was a joke. Yeah,
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: it was inappropriate and and and she sent that out
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: to Chrissy Teague and John Legends wife, so things got
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: cleared up. She got the tickets. But anyway, that's what
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: Kenya was talking about. So alright, you know what's going
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: down that's reality. Thank you. All right, listen, Wow, that's deep.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Coming up next, we'll talk about Matt Lauer right after this.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Women and
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: victims are speaking out about sexual misconduct in the workplace
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: that's been going on for a few weeks now, from
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey, multiple executives in Hollywood, Washington leaders
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Al Franken and John Conyers, and now the media. First
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: Charlie Rose being fired from CBS last week, and then yesterday,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: this was a bombshell for everyone. Yesterday the Today Show
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: fired Matt Lower. Uh yeah, that was big right there.
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: Everyone woke up to that news. They fired Matt Lower.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: NBC News said the decision was made after a complaint
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: These women and victims have the right to be in
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: the workplace environment where they feel safe and protected. Meanwhile,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: President Trump tweeted, while Matt Lower was just fired from
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: NBC for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace, but when
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: will the top executives at NBC and Comcast be fired
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: for putting out such so much fake news? He said, yes, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: hold okay, but I'm but I'm no, I ain't shock
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: but yeah i am no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: I'm shocked because I'm sorry. Man, you know what you
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: listen to me, I'm forever surprised people kill me. I'm
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: not surprised by any of this. You got to be.
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: You gots to be sitting up in here going what dog?
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: But every little thing you have time for that, you know,
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: but you don't, don't the slavery in Libya. Man. We
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: we got this little dude over here that's got a
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: missile that can reach New York. You got dog. You
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: got people in this country ain't eating good man. And
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: you're worried about the dog on NFL players on their
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: knee when you won't even you won't even take the
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: time out to even understand what they on they knee about.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: He understands, He truly understands. He likes to distract, He
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: likes to divert your attention to what's really going on,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: what he's doing. That's been his whole first year. Right,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: there's different. But you know what, Yeah, remember when when
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: President Trump, or he was a candidate. Trump then bragged
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: live on the mic about just grabbing women by the
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: p Remember that he said you could do it when
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: you're a star, they let you do it. Uh, you know,
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: he waved that off as just locker room talk. You
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: could say that and be president evidently, And then he
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: admitted to, he admitted to and apologize for it. And
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: then now he's doubling back saying that wasn't him on
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: the tape. Then that must not have been Billy Billy
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: Bush either, Billy Bush job going yes you abs that
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: was really man and unfair firing to fire Billy Bush
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: because he didn't do anything. He was sitting there talking
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: with a guy who's a billionaire, just on the bus,
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: just chuckling with him, and he to his job and
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: he became president. Yep, he was elected. That's backwards, man. Yeah,
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: I mean you're right though. Every day it's something. Every
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: single day it's something. Yeah, it's like we we all
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: need a break from this situation. You're listening to the
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Steven Show. Can we go with the last break of
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: the day, guys, with just one more thing? Alright, A right, Steve,
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: yesterday you started us on this journey of talking about
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: your Christmas tree. How you get it? What happened. We
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: told you about a story of how the trend now
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: is for people to hang their trees upside down, and
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: you were just telling us about your tree, and uh,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: you know the delivery crew from Georgia versus the California,
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: the l A crew and all of that. So are
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: they working together? Boys? It's just too big a difference.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: It just ain't gonna work out from them because they don't.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: They don't want to be involved with the l A Boys.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: They're not gonna bring the tree. They won't. So this
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: tree is being delivered to your house from where Steve, Yeah,
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: that that I don't. It's all well, let me tell
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: you this, what kind of refreshes from yesterday? What kind
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: of happened? Had the Georgia boys and already done the tree?
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: See every year, the only thing I asked my wife
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: is I want a mall tree at my house? Suffering
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: I went through as a child with the little tree.
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: We headed out, and when I used to go to
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: the mall, I used to stand there mesmerized looking at
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: the mall tree, and my mom and the boy come
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: on away from that tree because we got to go.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: I couldn't take my eyes off that tree. So when
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: God got me here, I said, man, I'm gonna give
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: me a mall tree at my house. Well a little
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: l A boys. You know it's telling me about the
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: size and it won't fit in. And so don Georgia boys. Uh,
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: I'm just needing to know, Mr Harvey. How you how
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: you do you still want us new tree? So I
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: told him since I moved to l A, I didn't
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: think they wanted to deliver. We'll bring it out. And
