- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your back
- 1:59Speaker 1: at it. Uh huh, I sure will. Hey, good morning, everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, deeve me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I've
- 2:12Speaker 1: been saying it like that since I got it, too.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I figured why I stop now. A lot of people
- 2:18Speaker 1: get bored with stuff that works for them because they
- 2:21Speaker 1: just want to do something different. Sometimes, man, repetition is good.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Sometimes repetition is good over and over and over until
- 2:30Speaker 1: it becomes second nature, and then it's almost like you
- 2:33Speaker 1: ain't doing it at all. That's what I found. That's
- 2:37Speaker 1: just a little piece of information. Y'all probably already know that,
- 2:40Speaker 1: though sometimes I'm just a reminder that's it, all right.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I gotta go on for you today. Yesterday, the other
- 2:46Speaker 1: day I was talking to you about the most effective
- 2:49Speaker 1: weapon available to us as human beings, I think is prayer.
- 2:53Speaker 1: I think prayer helps us in so many ways. But
- 2:57Speaker 1: right now what I want to do is I want
- 3:00Speaker 1: to show you how prayer pays off. I want I
- 3:03Speaker 1: want to show you what good it can do for you.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Even me, I use it every day, and and the
- 3:09Speaker 1: days I don't use it, I feel it that that,
- 3:13Speaker 1: you know, the days that I go, you know, without
- 3:15Speaker 1: talking to him as much, I notice it. I feel it.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I feel a certain kind of way. You know. Those
- 3:21Speaker 1: are those that doubts starts slipping in again, that uneasy
- 3:25Speaker 1: feeling of uncertainty slips in again, That that wondering what
- 3:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna do start slipping in again. Happens to me,
- 3:32Speaker 1: happens everybody, man, I think, I really really do you know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: people will just keep it real with each other. Stop
- 3:38Speaker 1: being this Christian this superman, because you ain't. You ain't
- 3:43Speaker 1: the scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one,
- 3:50Speaker 1: that's everybody, that that that cover all of us thought,
- 3:53Speaker 1: And so sometimes I think we're a little too hard
- 3:55Speaker 1: on each other with that too, seeing this is how
- 3:58Speaker 1: we're not perfect. We immediately want to just just oh man,
- 4:03Speaker 1: you just want to kill when we find somebody do
- 4:06Speaker 1: something wrong. Spell if we go public, everything go public
- 4:08Speaker 1: now calls social media. But anyway, I just want to
- 4:11Speaker 1: talk to you about how prayer pays off. It's called
- 4:16Speaker 1: all eye and money. People got money, call it all
- 4:19Speaker 1: eyes a return on investment. People always looking for a
- 4:23Speaker 1: return on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really
- 4:27Speaker 1: gives you money without understanding the return on investment. They
- 4:31Speaker 1: don't even give money to charities unless they think it
- 4:35Speaker 1: can do something with the bottom line. A lot of
- 4:37Speaker 1: companies work like that. I found out out myself. Sad,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but it is true. So since everything is expected to
- 4:44Speaker 1: work on a return on investment as soon because we're
- 4:47Speaker 1: human beings. So since we're all human beings, whether you're
- 4:50Speaker 1: in business or not, you're still in the business of living.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I think when you pray, you should expect a return
- 5:00Speaker 1: learned on your investment. You talked to him, you spend
- 5:05Speaker 1: time opening it up to him, You bowed your head
- 5:08Speaker 1: to him, you humbled yourself, you got on your knees.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I mean but really we're talking God here, so really,
- 5:15Speaker 1: what you're doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you,
- 5:18Speaker 1: A little bit that you do do on his behalf.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It it just pales in comparison with what he does.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But let's just say you want to call yourself invested, Well,
- 5:28Speaker 1: let me show you how it pays off. This because
- 5:31Speaker 1: seat for me. This is for me. Now, prayer pays
- 5:34Speaker 1: off in different ways. That's what I had to learn. See,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I was praying, but I was asking him specifically for
- 5:40Speaker 1: what I wanted. I had the audacity, though, to turn
- 5:44Speaker 1: around and tell him how to do what I wanted.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That's amazing. Man. I can't tell you how many blessings
- 5:50Speaker 1: I blocked coming my way by putting my faith in
- 5:54Speaker 1: what I said I wanted and how I wanted him
- 5:56Speaker 1: to do it. I want you to give me this.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I want that person to go away. I want this
- 6:03Speaker 1: person to accept everything you say. Then I want to
- 6:07Speaker 1: go over here, and I want this deal to happen
- 6:09Speaker 1: like this, And I want that person to just step
- 6:12Speaker 1: aside and let me let me through. And then I
- 6:14Speaker 1: wanted I was I hadn't mapped out. God must have
- 6:18Speaker 1: been chuckling really hard. He had been going. Boy, I
- 6:21Speaker 1: made you to be funny. But boy, you're funny now.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So you're gonna tell me how to do it. And
- 6:26Speaker 1: you've all heard this right here. If you want to
- 6:27Speaker 1: make God laugh telling me your plan, well that's what
- 6:30Speaker 1: I did. And that's how we pray. A lot of
- 6:32Speaker 1: times we pray, and we pray in the prayer with
- 6:36Speaker 1: telling him how to work it out. Well, here's the deal.
- 6:40Speaker 1: This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off in different ways.
- 6:44Speaker 1: There's a different return of my investment when I pray. See,
- 6:48Speaker 1: sometimes when I'm praying for something, a situation to dissolve
- 6:53Speaker 1: itself or go away, sometimes I get courage out of
- 6:58Speaker 1: the prayer. Prayer provides me courage. That's just to go
- 7:04Speaker 1: on and look at it. I guess face it. Then.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 7:14Speaker 1: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 7:18Speaker 1: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 7:22Speaker 1: laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to
- 7:26Speaker 1: laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it? Do you
- 7:33Speaker 1: know what that is? If you could do that, you know,
- 7:38Speaker 1: Sometimes it gives it gives you a show of strength power.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance that you
- 7:46Speaker 1: got it all together. Nobody got to know the world.
- 7:51Speaker 1: When the tornado, the hurricane, the swirling in your life,
- 7:55Speaker 1: you're standing over there like the eye of hericane. You
- 7:57Speaker 1: just and it's all swirling around you. But you're standing
- 8:00Speaker 1: there like the eye you just as calm. That's what
- 8:03Speaker 1: prayer does. So when you pray, man, it builds up
- 8:07Speaker 1: a lot of things in you. You know what it's
- 8:09Speaker 1: done for me. Prayer has built up character in me.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's made me have more character because I'm able to
- 8:16Speaker 1: stand stronger on the things I say because I've been praying,
- 8:20Speaker 1: because I've been asking God for all of those return
- 8:23Speaker 1: of investments. I've been asking God for courage. I've been
- 8:27Speaker 1: asking God for hanging that power. I've been asking him
- 8:30Speaker 1: to give me the power to walk away. I've asked
- 8:33Speaker 1: him to give me ignored power. I've asked to help
- 8:36Speaker 1: me laugh at off. I've asked him to show me straight.
- 8:38Speaker 1: But you know what I was doing, I was really praying,
- 8:41Speaker 1: not really for them things be real with you. I
- 8:43Speaker 1: was asking them to help me, Lord, help me. You
- 8:46Speaker 1: ever done that? You ever asked God for help? And
- 8:48Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, the list of these things
- 8:50Speaker 1: show up. See, sometimes how you want the problem to
- 8:54Speaker 1: be solved ain't the best way. There's a lesson to
- 8:56Speaker 1: be learned when we make mistakes. And sometimes you got
- 8:59Speaker 1: to stay in that fire and you gotta learn that lesson.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But guess what, though, when you come out of it,
- 9:05Speaker 1: you're gonna be better for it. You're gonna know more
- 9:07Speaker 1: about it. Come on, y'all, pray. Ain't nothing wrong with it.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You didn't tried everything else. Look where you're at now?
- 9:14Speaker 1: What about prayer? Yeah? People kill me man, trying to
- 9:17Speaker 1: talk me off this hustle right here. God ain't this,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and God ain't y'on? They on the Lord left me. Lord,
- 9:23Speaker 1: don't leave no body. Man. Look at your decisions. God
- 9:26Speaker 1: has never left you. You turned your back, you went
- 9:30Speaker 1: the other way, You tried something else, you you you, you,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you took another swing, you win another route. You look
- 9:36Speaker 1: for an alternative solution. That was you. That ain't never him.
- 9:40Speaker 1: He's solid. His word is true, It lasts forever. He
- 9:43Speaker 1: do what he said, gonna do now, all day, all night,
- 9:48Speaker 1: twenty four seven height, He do it all day, all night,
- 9:52Speaker 1: and then some more. His word don't ever change. It
- 9:55Speaker 1: is true. It works for me. It worked for you.
- 9:59Speaker 1: It worked for jail As, It worked for Old Steam,
- 10:02Speaker 1: It worked for Kirk Franklin, It worked for Paula White,
- 10:06Speaker 1: It worked for Billy Graham. It worked for Mother Teresa.
- 10:09Speaker 1: It worked for Gandhi, It worked for Princess Arabs. It worked, man,
- 10:16Speaker 1: it worked for you. What you're waiting for? Why don't
- 10:20Speaker 1: you put praying your game? Watch what happened to you?
- 10:23Speaker 1: You're sitting in that jail cell and you're struggling with it,
- 10:25Speaker 1: and they're telling you bloody and blood out, you can't
- 10:28Speaker 1: get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you mean God
- 10:31Speaker 1: can get you out of anything. Look, man, if you
- 10:34Speaker 1: hadn't read your Bible, he didn't got some people out
- 10:36Speaker 1: some sticky situations. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 10:39Speaker 1: If Daniel was in the lions den and Jonah was
- 10:42Speaker 1: in the belly of the whale, what you're talking about?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Where you are? You just sitting in the sale with
- 10:45Speaker 1: some dudes around. You're talking about what they're gonna do. Man,
- 10:47Speaker 1: you gotta be real. God can't nothing to do nothing.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Nobody can't nobody do nothing to you. God won't give
- 10:53Speaker 1: you to strift to handle. Prayer changes things. Man, you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening in shout good morning everybody. I'm the one that
- 11:09Speaker 1: left behind, but I'm here now. Yeah yeah, went to
- 11:16Speaker 1: point the gun and didn't even take me. I ain't
- 11:18Speaker 1: know that going, damn. But I'm here holding it down
- 11:23Speaker 1: with everybody. What's up? What's having to j Anthony Brown?
- 11:29Speaker 1: We are back fresh from the Dominican. What's going on?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Did you bring me a T shirt or anything? From
- 11:36Speaker 1: saying and sea shielding? Nothing? Not nothing? Nothing? Really really
- 11:41Speaker 1: all right? We're holding it down with me. Also, who
- 11:43Speaker 1: did not though? What's I'm in the building. I got
- 11:49Speaker 1: one question for calming? Yeah, what has happened? Asked my uncle?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Where everybody? Where's Junior? Where's out? We were? Y'all can't
- 12:00Speaker 1: go nowhere and they can't go No, damn, what's the problem.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on with the crew. I'm here.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I badly made it. You know we were yesterday, but
- 12:13Speaker 1: today I don't know. I guess the jet lag has
- 12:15Speaker 1: said it again today. So you know, some folks, I'm
- 12:21Speaker 1: trying to tell you that's when you kick it too hard, Jay,
- 12:25Speaker 1: and you don't know what nobody an You're gonna just
- 12:29Speaker 1: just get the top of the surface. That's how you're
- 12:31Speaker 1: gonna do. Like they was calling me and saying it so, hey, allegedly,
- 12:38Speaker 1: where is my uncle? Yeah? What do we gotta hold
- 12:46Speaker 1: it down? Though? Did y'all all go there when y'all
- 12:50Speaker 1: all together? Yes, we were. We were all on the
- 12:53Speaker 1: same flights and everything. We were all together. We had
- 12:56Speaker 1: a fantastic time. We thanked everybody yesterday. I mean, y'all
- 13:00Speaker 1: ain't been at work either. We've been him holding it down.
- 13:03Speaker 1: We've been here mad, haven't. We've been doing other things now,
- 13:07Speaker 1: we've been doing some other than we had barbecue duty
- 13:09Speaker 1: this girl. Yeah, boy, we've been. We were doing anybody
- 13:16Speaker 1: you were going. Yeah, sometimes you had the house to yourself.
- 13:19Speaker 1: It's so much fun that you were greatly missed. Where
- 13:26Speaker 1: we didn't ask about us? Oh, absolutely everywhere returned Where Tommy?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Where's Jay? They were looking for you guys. But it
- 13:33Speaker 1: was a fantastic time had by all Steve Harvey sand
- 13:37Speaker 1: and so it was so successful. We are doing it again,
- 13:42Speaker 1: you know, stay tuned for the big announcement. But it's
- 13:44Speaker 1: all good. Yes, Junior told me yesterday he hit me
- 13:47Speaker 1: up on the phone. He did, called me, said there
- 13:48Speaker 1: was a white lady down there looking for the damn
- 13:57Speaker 1: you missed out Jay boy. Sheryl Underwood. She's exhausted. I
- 14:05Speaker 1: heard Apolo was good calling. Yes, yes, Apollo. We did
- 14:09Speaker 1: Apolo live. You know, Steve hosted that. That was fun
- 14:13Speaker 1: the people for real, Oh from the gut, good from
- 14:20Speaker 1: the good, same thing, Dominican Harlem, same thing, Apolo Baby.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Well here I'm not here. We're gonna be stupid no
- 14:27Speaker 1: matter what. All right, coming up thirty two after the
- 14:31Speaker 1: our j Anthony Brown, nep you, Timmy, we'll tell us
- 14:33Speaker 1: what they have been doing that. We had some hunt
- 14:37Speaker 1: side of something funny. We'll be back at thirty two.
- 14:40Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show today. The crew
- 14:46Speaker 1: we are here holding it down right, j Anthony Brown, nephew. No,
- 14:50Speaker 1: that's okay. Y'all left us now you're talking to the
- 14:54Speaker 1: old time. He was gone. Didn't hear from you? Didn't
- 14:56Speaker 1: even call a tempt When you go in the national,
- 14:59Speaker 1: y'all change y'all really do Hollywood with it? And the
- 15:06Speaker 1: kind of with it? Man? Did you survive? Oh my goodness?
- 15:13Speaker 1: All right, So the real question is what if you
- 15:15Speaker 1: guys been up to what you've been doing, you ain't
- 15:17Speaker 1: been in work either way. You know what, I barbecued
- 15:22Speaker 1: my butt off this past holiday. I did. I did
- 15:26Speaker 1: now now on the reel though, y'all know, I've been
- 15:28Speaker 1: like on the Strict Die where I've only been eating
- 15:30Speaker 1: fish chicken. That's the only type of meat I've been eating, right, Okay,
- 15:34Speaker 1: so no red meat. But you know when the family,
- 15:37Speaker 1: when you're cooking for the family, you gotta cook everything.
- 15:41Speaker 1: So I got six eight rams, eight slabs and reels
- 15:45Speaker 1: on the pit. I got everything. I got sausage, links,
- 15:48Speaker 1: I got brisket, I got everything. So I called my
- 15:51Speaker 1: said dipping away, call and check it out. Now I'm
- 15:55Speaker 1: gonna take me a fight and wanting them don't called real.
- 15:58Speaker 1: I'm going. I slid way and took a bite a
- 16:01Speaker 1: one in reels, and let me tell you, I had
- 16:05Speaker 1: the headache of a lifetime because I hadn't had it. Oh,
- 16:09Speaker 1: it put me into something. It wasn't worth it. That
- 16:12Speaker 1: one bite was good, but it wasn't worth that headache.
- 16:15Speaker 1: It was not worth that. You know. They say, they
- 16:19Speaker 1: say I should have bit it and spit it out.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You know, I shouldn't take it. I've done that and anyway, anyway, barbecue,
- 16:32Speaker 1: played with the kids, have fun at home. That was
- 16:34Speaker 1: my thing. Okay, your weekend, what about you, Jack? I
- 16:38Speaker 1: went to every damn movie that's out. I've seen everything
- 16:42Speaker 1: I seen. Oh my god, I've seen Alex, I've seen
- 16:47Speaker 1: them crazy puppets, I seen Searching, I've seen al for
- 16:52Speaker 1: I've seen everything. I've seen my twenty two miles. I've
- 16:56Speaker 1: seen Now. I didn't even pay but one price. I
- 16:59Speaker 1: just you keep going out coming back in. Man, you're
- 17:05Speaker 1: not supposed to do that, doing that, but that's what
- 17:08Speaker 1: I do. And watch a lot of TV. A lot
- 17:16Speaker 1: I did that. I watch your show that you can
- 17:19Speaker 1: watch over the minus uh Law and Order. You know what, Jane. Yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: it's gonna sound crazy. I'm Forensic Files and I could
- 17:31Speaker 1: just like take it out for the night. Now, let
- 17:33Speaker 1: me tell you what's bad. This is what's bad when
- 17:36Speaker 1: you fall asleep, like like I like what was about
- 17:39Speaker 1: last week? I fell asleep on Law and Order. But
- 17:43Speaker 1: I woke up in the morning thinking I had a
- 17:45Speaker 1: court cakes. You know what I'm saying. I did. I
- 17:48Speaker 1: know I was gonna do five years file so much
- 17:53Speaker 1: that if the play one I've seen, Oh that's the
- 17:56Speaker 1: one with the girl I had the guy in the basement.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I know that, I've seen that one. You know what
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'm seeing that. I know him like that. I know
- 18:01Speaker 1: him like that. And speaking of TV, we're gonna talk
- 18:04Speaker 1: about this a little later on. But the Bobby Brown
- 18:07Speaker 1: story we kind of exposed to much. I mean, Janet Jackson,
- 18:16Speaker 1: if I didn't know, I didn't know what. I had,
- 18:20Speaker 1: no idea, no idea. Yeah, so we're gonna talk to
- 18:24Speaker 1: you Janet though, I tell you that. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:29Speaker 1: So we'll talk about that at the top of the
- 18:31Speaker 1: hour and the entertainment news and next hour. So you
- 18:33Speaker 1: guys been watching TV. I'm sure you watched all the
- 18:36Speaker 1: funerals and all that stuff. So I watched one funeral. Yeah, okay,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you call call. We could have broke it up in
- 18:51Speaker 1: a couple of days though. I'm just but it was outstanding.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Now it was the bomb. The number one phrase for
- 18:57Speaker 1: that funeral is is it still? That's yeah? Rest in peace? Yes, Okay,
- 19:08Speaker 1: So now we know what you guys been doing. Like
- 19:09Speaker 1: I said, we survived saying the soul. It was a
- 19:12Speaker 1: fantastic time and y'all been watching TV. So did you
- 19:17Speaker 1: get in the water? Color um all the way over
- 19:22Speaker 1: there to some blue water, don't get in it? Did
- 19:24Speaker 1: you get in the water. But the boat ride, I
- 19:27Speaker 1: did have my very own boat. I had a party boat,
- 19:29Speaker 1: so I did. The boat ride was off the chain,
- 19:32Speaker 1: so my hair got got a little wet. But I
- 19:34Speaker 1: wasn't in there like swimming or nothing. You know. Okay, okay,
- 19:39Speaker 1: I say one thing. Black women can't go to a
- 19:42Speaker 1: pool party and not get in the pool. They can
- 19:44Speaker 1: make it happen. This is this is this is swimsup,
- 19:49Speaker 1: Sarron and pumps, and we're gonna make this happen around
- 19:53Speaker 1: the pool, right. Yeah. Yeah, we had a foam pool
- 19:57Speaker 1: party that we hosted surely my self and Shirl and
- 20:01Speaker 1: just yeah. So it was foam. Everybody had a good time. No,
- 20:05Speaker 1: everybody enjoyed themselves, vacation all inclusive. It was fantastic. Saying that.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So you hear, I'm a little horse hollering and partying
- 20:13Speaker 1: a feet heard. We we just had a great time.
- 20:16Speaker 1: That's when you had a good time. When your feet hurt,
- 20:18Speaker 1: that's when you know, that's when you really had a
- 20:21Speaker 1: good boys. Go on, how messed up, feet hurt, God
- 20:26Speaker 1: had a good damn we had a good time. So
- 20:29Speaker 1: hit us up to on all social media. Steve Harvey,
- 20:31Speaker 1: f M. If you survive, saying and soul, if you
- 20:34Speaker 1: had a good time. We're still taking your comments about

- 30:49Speaker 1: gonna talk about that minutes after. Really, yes, it is,
- 30:56Speaker 1: it is. It is a very good ad. So we'll
- 30:58Speaker 1: talk about that in twenty minutes. But first and entertainment news.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Last Night was part one of the two part mini
- 31:05Speaker 1: series The Bobby Brown Story on b Et last Night.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Did you guys see it? Let me tell you what
- 31:14Speaker 1: social media is going crazy this morning. It is trending
- 31:16Speaker 1: right now. I mean sex, drugs, cocaine, his marriage to
- 31:20Speaker 1: Whitney Houston. He had a relationship with Janet Jackson. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: mean I did not know. I had heard that he
- 31:28Speaker 1: had a relationship to him and Janet. Relations with Janet Jackson.
- 31:34Speaker 1: That was a lot of good you're saying, thank you boy.
- 31:37Speaker 1: And that scene they showed the scene where Bobby uh
- 31:42Speaker 1: was dating Janet and later on they got together at
- 31:47Speaker 1: the hotel room. Now she was with the barge guy.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Remember she was dating him when she got married to
- 31:53Speaker 1: the barge guy, so she was already involved with him
- 31:56Speaker 1: at the time. According to this movie. According to Bobby
- 32:00Speaker 1: Brown Story Last Night, and they got together and it
- 32:03Speaker 1: was the sex. Oh no, oh no, what BBD do?
- 32:12Speaker 1: But it was long. This scene was really really long.
- 32:16Speaker 1: I thought it was too much. And then he throws
- 32:18Speaker 1: her out the hotel room. In the scene she didn't
- 32:21Speaker 1: have any clothes on. It was yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 32:32Speaker 1: well she didn't have to hop on. That's when your
- 32:34Speaker 1: career is really skyrocketing. When you can throw Janet Jackson
- 32:40Speaker 1: out your room. You would have really got it together.
- 32:43Speaker 1: All you crazy here? One of the two. I just
- 32:45Speaker 1: could have if I just could have been in the
- 32:47Speaker 1: room across the hall, just just cross the hose, setting
- 32:52Speaker 1: my tray out to see that what here? It was
- 33:01Speaker 1: a lot, It was a lot. It was just I
- 33:03Speaker 1: don't know. That scene just threw me, threw me for
- 33:05Speaker 1: a loop a little bit. But anyway, the movie start
- 33:07Speaker 1: Witty McCain who started Bobby Brown in the New Edition
- 33:10Speaker 1: you know mini series. Yeah, and the movie picks up
- 33:15Speaker 1: where a New Edition where that movie dropped off, and
- 33:17Speaker 1: it touched on Bobby scandals, just like I said, his
- 33:19Speaker 1: marriage to Whitney Houston, being the father, his drug and
- 33:22Speaker 1: alcohol addictions. And Part two is tonight and we'll see
- 33:29Speaker 1: the conclusion of the Bobby brown story. Questions just still
- 33:33Speaker 1: doing by Brown, They've done Whitney. I know, we see
- 33:46Speaker 1: Rickett story. We'll be watching tonight. We'll talk about more
- 33:51Speaker 1: Bobby brown Man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thirty seconds quickly and
- 33:58Speaker 1: entertainment news. Other news is you guys remember Elvin from
- 34:01Speaker 1: the Cosmy Show, actor Jeffrey Owens. You know he had
- 34:04Speaker 1: been job shane. Somebody took a picture of him working
- 34:07Speaker 1: at Trader Joe's store in New Jersey. Yeah, and he
- 34:13Speaker 1: opened up about it on Good Morning America yesterday. He
- 34:16Speaker 1: was devastated about the pictures that has surfaced about him.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But he's cool now. He's receiving a lot of support

- 35:45Speaker 1: of additional pages of documents concerning Kavanaugh's judicial record, but
- 35:50Speaker 1: the Republicans continued to refuse to turn him over. Eventually,
- 35:53Speaker 1: Kavanaugh made his opening in rather general statement, judge must

- 36:59Speaker 1: current and former need to have called the presidents an
- 37:01Speaker 1: idiot and a liar and disparaged his judgment. Trump calls
- 37:05Speaker 1: the quotes and stories in the book a con on

- 37:45Speaker 1: of his face with the words believe in something, even
- 37:49Speaker 1: if it means sacrificing everything. So now, this ad has
- 37:53Speaker 1: evoked some strong emotions on both sides of the issue
- 37:57Speaker 1: of kneeling during the National anthem to protest racism, police brutality,
- 38:02Speaker 1: and social injustice. While athletes like Lebron James, Kevin Durant,
- 38:07Speaker 1: even Tom Brady are in support of the ad, the
- 38:11Speaker 1: National Association of Police Organizations fired off a letter to
- 38:16Speaker 1: the Nike chairman and CEO saying that they're calling for
- 38:20Speaker 1: a boycott for all of Nike products. The way they
- 38:23Speaker 1: see it, featuring the former NFL forty niner is a
- 38:27Speaker 1: slap in the face to those who actually sacrifice their
- 38:31Speaker 1: lives for, you know, patriotism. And President Trump was also
- 38:37Speaker 1: critical of the Nike sponsorship deal with Colin Kaepernick, saying
- 38:41Speaker 1: he thinks it's a terrible message, but added that the
- 38:43Speaker 1: company's ability to is, you know, to make its own decisions,
- 38:48Speaker 1: and that's what this country is all about. So, guys,
- 38:50Speaker 1: what do you think, James. Nike has used it to
- 38:54Speaker 1: the advantage because they've got so much free publicity out
- 38:57Speaker 1: of this man, and they're gonna make any of the
- 39:00Speaker 1: fact that they're standing behind him. I think it's a
- 39:02Speaker 1: great move. I think it's a good move. Why why
- 39:04Speaker 1: is it that we can keep telling you what this
- 39:07Speaker 1: really is about and you keep ignoring what it's about.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Why why do you know we spend it, Tommy, they
- 39:13Speaker 1: turn it around. We can tell you from day one
- 39:16Speaker 1: that that that this brother took a need for injustice
- 39:18Speaker 1: in this country to the police brutality and police brutality.
- 39:22Speaker 1: So so my problem is we keep telling you what
- 39:25Speaker 1: it's about, and you keep coming back saying with disrespecting
- 39:28Speaker 1: the military, and that is so far from what this
- 39:31Speaker 1: man was doing initially. He and he's still it's still
- 39:35Speaker 1: kneeling for the same thing, and y'all still keep coming
- 39:38Speaker 1: back with the same response as if we disrespecting the flag.
- 39:42Speaker 1: And he's a great opportunity to have a good add though.
- 39:46Speaker 1: You know, for the people setting him home. How about
- 39:48Speaker 1: this Nike they on fire get him because they say,
- 39:56Speaker 1: people put this, Yeah, well you know what I'm I'm
- 40:04Speaker 1: Nike head to toe. Now there you go, Nike, there
- 40:07Speaker 1: you go. You're supporting us, We're gonna ride with you. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 1: this is unbelievable. And you write Tommy that you know,
- 40:16Speaker 1: the president and all of these other people, his constituents,
- 40:19Speaker 1: their twisting nous and it's not what it's about. And
- 40:22Speaker 1: why would the NFL be against the military. That doesn't
- 40:28Speaker 1: even make any sense, all Right, If you want to comment,
- 40:31Speaker 1: go to see HARV FM on social media. We keep
- 40:34Speaker 1: these conversations going coming up. We're gonna talk about it.
- 40:36Speaker 1: It's trending right now. The Bobby Brown story last night
- 40:39Speaker 1: on BT didn't We'll talk about it thirty four after
- 40:44Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Well last night, Honey, honey, honey.
- 40:50Speaker 1: We talked about this earlier, part one of the two
- 40:53Speaker 1: part mini series of Bobby Brown. The movie last night
- 40:57Speaker 1: on b ET. Did you see it? Social media is
- 41:00Speaker 1: going crazy right now. I mean they touched and talked
- 41:03Speaker 1: about everything, all the scandals, sex, drugs, cocaine, Whitney Houston,
- 41:09Speaker 1: Janet Jackson, If you're nasty, I mean you know everybody
- 41:15Speaker 1: is on. Somebody tweeted, oh let's wait a while, hashtag
- 41:18Speaker 1: Bubby Brown putting my free and out in the hallway.
- 41:22Speaker 1: You're not goodness. So the movie started. Woody McCain started
- 41:27Speaker 1: as Bobby Brown and the story picked up. We said
- 41:29Speaker 1: this earlier where a New Addition movie dropped off last
- 41:32Speaker 1: year and I loved the a few years ago. The
- 41:33Speaker 1: New Edition movie and the movie talked about Bobby's solo career,
- 41:38Speaker 1: his marriage to Whitney, being a father, Uh. You know,
- 41:42Speaker 1: we talked about this Janet Jackson scene. If you saw it,
- 41:45Speaker 1: that's just what's been treated right now. Unbelievable scene with
- 41:49Speaker 1: that Noo, no I had I had no idea. I
- 41:55Speaker 1: heard about it, but I had no idea that it
- 42:00Speaker 1: was when it happened, right ja, if you take surprised,
- 42:09Speaker 1: they're going, yeah, but with a very low voice. Right.
- 42:21Speaker 1: But let me give a shout out to actress Gabrielle
- 42:24Speaker 1: Gabrielle Dennis. She played the role of Whitney Houston. You know,
- 42:28Speaker 1: you may have known, you've seen her on the Game,
- 42:30Speaker 1: on TV shows like that. In a couple of movies,
- 42:33Speaker 1: she did her thing as Whitney Gabrielle put it down.
- 42:36Speaker 1: McCay peiffer. He played the role of Tommy Brown, Bobby's brother,
- 42:40Speaker 1: and you know, oh, very convincing, very convincing and everything.
- 42:46Speaker 1: The man, this boy's got the moves and everything. He
- 42:50Speaker 1: got it man, Yeah, dancing like him. Uh. He had
- 42:54Speaker 1: to look the haircuts, the different phases of Bobby. I mean,
- 42:58Speaker 1: we saw how he got with Teddy Riley and how
- 43:01Speaker 1: they mad yeah, and how Bobby wanted you know, when
- 43:04Speaker 1: he went solo, and how he wanted this aggressive sound
- 43:07Speaker 1: because you know where everybody is always arguing about when
- 43:10Speaker 1: Whitney said Bobby was the king of R and B
- 43:12Speaker 1: and he was he was like the original to do
- 43:15Speaker 1: this type of aggressive R and B and dance. But
- 43:19Speaker 1: he I mean he had a division and he got
- 43:23Speaker 1: with the right people. That happened. Producer sound he had
- 43:25Speaker 1: in his mind, that's right, j Because Ralph Tresband. There
- 43:28Speaker 1: was a scene with him and Ralph Trestband, and Ralph said,
- 43:31Speaker 1: if this is what you want, if this is kind
- 43:33Speaker 1: of like your vision, you got to get the right producer.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Bobby knew that, yeah, and he worked with baby Face
- 43:38Speaker 1: and he did in l A read. But Teddy Riley,
- 43:41Speaker 1: was that my prerogative? That sound that that was the key? Yeah? Yeah,
- 43:49Speaker 1: And that's where we saw genuine and usher and all
- 43:51Speaker 1: that opened the door for them to have the styles
- 43:54Speaker 1: that they had to me, in my opinion, Bobby was
- 43:56Speaker 1: the original doing questions just we've seen him, Bobby Brown
- 43:59Speaker 1: asked before, is in a different direction when we see
- 44:03Speaker 1: the boys? Demand story? Because the story, Yeah, I want
- 44:11Speaker 1: to see that story. How about the heavy d and
- 44:14Speaker 1: the boys? I want the silk story? Hello? Come on,
- 44:19Speaker 1: Keith Sweat story. Yeah, I don't don't stop, give me
- 44:24Speaker 1: that story. Hello, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. A lot of
- 44:29Speaker 1: comments on social media by Bobby Brown. Um. Shout out
- 44:32Speaker 1: to Denisia Hopkins. We know her as Rain of St Patrick,
- 44:37Speaker 1: baby girl from Power. Uh huh. She's starring as Bobby
- 44:42Speaker 1: Christina and yeah, yeah she looks like her. She looks
- 44:46Speaker 1: like Bobby Christina. So part two tonight, we'll see the
- 44:51Speaker 1: conclusion of the Bobby Brown story. And I don't want
- 44:54Speaker 1: to get anybody. You think Mike gets thrown out in
- 45:00Speaker 1: the hallway tonight, anybody that that who's gonna come out
- 45:03Speaker 1: this hotel room tonight? Well, I think this this part
- 45:06Speaker 1: two is gonna be pretty heavy. It's gonna talk about
- 45:09Speaker 1: later in his life and the divorce with Whitney, and
- 45:12Speaker 1: his drug addiction, and his relationship with his daughter, and
- 45:17Speaker 1: and and you know, he dealt with a lot of
- 45:19Speaker 1: death and a lot of tragedies in his life, Bobby did.
- 45:22Speaker 1: So let's gonna get heavy tonight. So we'll watch part
- 45:24Speaker 1: two and hit us up social media talk about it
- 45:28Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, you got a prank call coming out,
- 45:31Speaker 1: got a prank coming up next? You know, I'm gonna
- 45:33Speaker 1: keep it snoopid for you because that's what I do. So,
- 45:35Speaker 1: oh time you're listening to Steve har Okay, So coming
- 45:41Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, we got the
- 45:42Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. We will handle We will do the honor
- 45:47Speaker 1: for Shirley and Steve and the crew will get to it.
- 45:50Speaker 1: But nep you tim me. You're here with a prank.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Call what you got baby boy? If you can't talk
- 45:54Speaker 1: straight at the barbershop? And where can you talk straight?
- 45:58Speaker 1: This right here? This kiss the barbershop? Brady? How you doing? Man?
- 46:06Speaker 1: My name, my name is Dennis Man. I got a
- 46:07Speaker 1: hair cut from you a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, hey, listen, um,
- 46:12Speaker 1: I wanted to get an appointment with you. Man. Uh
- 46:14Speaker 1: like I said, I was there a couple of weeks ago. Man,
- 46:16Speaker 1: my first time getting hair cut from you. Did real,
- 46:18Speaker 1: real good jobs. I want to say thank you for that.
- 46:20Speaker 1: All right? Okay, do you have any um any time
- 46:25Speaker 1: available on Thursday? Yeah? Yeah, for sure. What's what's what's
- 46:31Speaker 1: your name here? Bro? Dennis Man? Dennis? Okay, Dennis? Why
- 46:35Speaker 1: I can get Dennis about three o'clock man, something of
- 46:38Speaker 1: that nature. I mean, you know, I'm on the work appointments.
- 46:40Speaker 1: You know, three o'clock, you'll be there. Okay, Hey, I
- 46:45Speaker 1: got a little bit of situation though, man, that happened
- 46:48Speaker 1: last time I was there. I kind of wanted to
- 46:50Speaker 1: talk to you bout it, man, because it kind of
- 46:53Speaker 1: called me off guard. So I wanted to how I
- 46:56Speaker 1: let you, man and see if we could rectify the problem.
- 46:58Speaker 1: For I came back up there. What happened? What? Somebody
- 47:00Speaker 1: disrespect your something? I mean, what else to do? What? What? Um?
- 47:05Speaker 1: It really wasn't somebody, man, it was it. It was
- 47:07Speaker 1: it was actually you. Whoa, here's deal man? When you
- 47:12Speaker 1: was cutting my hair, when it when it was time
- 47:15Speaker 1: to turn the chair, you didn't turn the chair with
- 47:19Speaker 1: with with with with your hand man. See Brady, man,
- 47:22Speaker 1: you you turned the chair with your with your private part. Oh,
- 47:27Speaker 1: come on safe. I mean, I'm a professional man, I've
- 47:30Speaker 1: been doing the fifteen years right right. I don't think
- 47:32Speaker 1: it's anything deliberate, man. I think you just do it unconsciously, man,
- 47:37Speaker 1: because you know you'd be leaning over on the chair cutting,
- 47:40Speaker 1: and I think you don't realize you know, you'd be
- 47:42Speaker 1: turning the chair with your private part instead of doing
- 47:45Speaker 1: it with your hand man and see my hand got
- 47:48Speaker 1: caught out there and I saw it out the corner
- 47:50Speaker 1: my eyes. I saw your private part coming towards my hand.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I moved it just in time. You understand, but not
- 47:57Speaker 1: not see, Dennis, I'm not understanding something, but I don't.
- 48:00Speaker 1: I don't. We don't operate like that round, yes, because
- 48:03Speaker 1: you know I don't make mistakes like that. But I mean,
- 48:05Speaker 1: you know, I don't know you. You're sure you're talking
- 48:07Speaker 1: to the right person, man, Yeah, I mean, ain't you
- 48:09Speaker 1: the third chair on the right when you walk in
- 48:11Speaker 1: the door. Yeah, that's correct. Okay, that one time, my
- 48:14Speaker 1: man and you cut me two weeks ago, and like
- 48:17Speaker 1: I said, I really like my hair cut. So I
- 48:18Speaker 1: want to call back and rectify this problem. But you know,
- 48:21Speaker 1: you gotta turn the chair with your hand and not
- 48:23Speaker 1: to your pride part. If not, we're gonna have a problem. Okay, bro,
- 48:26Speaker 1: Now I feel it, and I understand your your complaint
- 48:30Speaker 1: and everything. I mean, I'm not understanding what you're saying.
- 48:33Speaker 1: But but I don't do that, you know, I mean,
- 48:35Speaker 1: we we will be glad to you know what I'm thinking.
- 48:37Speaker 1: You know, the clutter whatever? You understand? Men, you know,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but I don't move nobody, no round with my problems. Man,
- 48:44Speaker 1: that's just not okay. I understand what you're saying, but
- 48:47Speaker 1: I want you to hear what I'm saying. If you
- 48:50Speaker 1: put your private on there at all when I come
- 48:53Speaker 1: in there Thursday, then I promise you're gonna jump up
- 48:57Speaker 1: and we're gonna have a problem. Who what let's see
- 48:59Speaker 1: not now? No right there, And I'm not I'm not
- 49:02Speaker 1: feeling that jump up having a problem because you know
- 49:05Speaker 1: you don't really know me like that. But you know
- 49:06Speaker 1: what I mean. I'm trying to be professional here and
- 49:09Speaker 1: and and solve your little issue that you got your understanding.
- 49:11Speaker 1: But I was jumping up and stuff you're talking about doing.
- 49:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm trying to come in and get
- 49:17Speaker 1: a nice hair cut and walk out with a nice
- 49:20Speaker 1: hair cut. What I don't want to do. It's come
- 49:22Speaker 1: down there, you're leaning over put your private part. Well,
- 49:25Speaker 1: I got my arms in my hands and I got
- 49:27Speaker 1: help you. Now that's what I don't you're starting. You're
- 49:31Speaker 1: touching the wrong, talking about what you're talking about. I'm
- 49:33Speaker 1: teuching you wrong. You touch me wrong. Two weeks ago
- 49:36Speaker 1: when you put your private on my hand, man, I
- 49:40Speaker 1: don't know how to touch it. Say what I don't know?
- 49:44Speaker 1: You know, dog all I'm trying to say. You're the
- 49:48Speaker 1: brother trying to come in and get his hair cut
- 49:51Speaker 1: and walk out feeling like a man, and not walk
- 49:53Speaker 1: out feeling violated man, because you didn't turn the chair
- 49:57Speaker 1: with your private part all up against my hand in
- 49:59Speaker 1: my hel bowling stuff. Man, you know what I'm saying.
- 50:02Speaker 1: I like that. I'm saying. You know I'm trying to
- 50:06Speaker 1: talk to you. Do you? But let you don't run
- 50:08Speaker 1: me wrong. I ain't no punk flying here, and you
- 50:10Speaker 1: understand it. The ain't no punk flying that. Then keep
- 50:12Speaker 1: it off my hand. Ye, let me tell you something.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Man won't said, Oh yeah, you bring your stupid So

- 56:30Speaker 1: had sex or anything close to it. Not too long ago,
- 56:33Speaker 1: she told me that she has started dating again. So
- 56:37Speaker 1: here's the problem. She wants her new guy to meet
- 56:40Speaker 1: our son and daughter after dating him for only two months.
- 56:44Speaker 1: She also has a girlfriend, which took me by surprise.
- 56:49Speaker 1: She is definitely living her best life, but anyway, she
- 56:58Speaker 1: also wants her girlfriend to be around our children. My
- 57:01Speaker 1: ex wife's boyfriend does not know she has a girlfriend,
- 57:05Speaker 1: and her girlfriend does not know that she has a boyfriend. Obviously,
- 57:10Speaker 1: this concerns me because my ex wife is playing both
- 57:14Speaker 1: sides of the field and wants to involve our children
- 57:18Speaker 1: in this love triangle mess. I told her that she
- 57:22Speaker 1: needs to end one of the relationships before someone gets hurt.
- 57:26Speaker 1: She told me that I was flat out jealous. She
- 57:29Speaker 1: told me that I'm jealous of her just because I
- 57:32Speaker 1: can't get over her and that I don't want anyone
- 57:35Speaker 1: else with her. I am a concerned father, and I
- 57:39Speaker 1: could care less who she's getting it on with. It's
- 57:43Speaker 1: just not a good look for my children. So of
- 57:45Speaker 1: course I have to say something. What should I do?
- 57:49Speaker 1: How do I fix this without looking like the jealous
- 57:53Speaker 1: ex husband? Yeah? This is a lot. Yeah, well, let
- 57:59Speaker 1: me just say this. Most of all, you might be
- 58:01Speaker 1: just a little jealous because you're only human, but you
- 58:05Speaker 1: still have valid concerns and you have a right to
- 58:09Speaker 1: have input or say so as to who is around
- 58:11Speaker 1: your children. Your ex wife wants to bring her boyfriend
- 58:16Speaker 1: and her girlfriend around your children. So now what kind
- 58:19Speaker 1: of example is she's setting for them? You need to
- 58:23Speaker 1: show your children, you know, an example of a solid relationship.
- 58:27Speaker 1: You know, you're flaunting your boyfriend and your girlfriend around
- 58:30Speaker 1: your boyfriend you've been only dating for two months plus
- 58:33Speaker 1: your girlfriend around your children. Maybe as a suggestion, you
- 58:36Speaker 1: need to ask your ex wife to establish some boundaries.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Maybe you can suggest that when she wants to date
- 58:44Speaker 1: or you know, maybe you can have the kids on
- 58:47Speaker 1: the nights that she want to kick it and do
- 58:49Speaker 1: all the things that she wants to do. Maybe you
- 58:51Speaker 1: can also suggest to her that, um, she introduced the
- 58:56Speaker 1: kids to the right person when the relationship is going
- 58:59Speaker 1: to be more stable. You know. You know she's only
- 59:02Speaker 1: been involved, like you said, with this guy for two months,
- 59:05Speaker 1: and we don't know how long she's been dating the girlfriend. Um,
- 59:10Speaker 1: I know you can't tell your ex wife who to date,
- 59:13Speaker 1: you know, in her love triangle. You do have to
- 59:15Speaker 1: let her live her life. But honestly, you just can't
- 59:19Speaker 1: stop her from doing what she wants to do. Let's
- 59:21Speaker 1: just be real about it. But you have to monitor
- 59:24Speaker 1: your children and just let them know within reason, what
- 59:28Speaker 1: to expect. I mean, this is real life and and
- 59:31Speaker 1: and you know, maybe you just have to break it
- 59:32Speaker 1: down to your kids. You know, your mom has a
- 59:34Speaker 1: lot of friends. It's just some ways that you have
- 59:36Speaker 1: to handle it. But I think you really have the
- 59:39Speaker 1: right to talk to your ex wife and say, listen,
- 59:42Speaker 1: you know, we gotta have some boundaries. You just can't
- 59:44Speaker 1: be just wilding out in front of the kids. Lead
- 59:47Speaker 1: by example, show them an example of a solid relationship.
- 59:51Speaker 1: And that is my response for today, Jay, what you
- 59:54Speaker 1: got totally totally totally totally Let me give you three
- 59:58Speaker 1: more totally totally, totally, totally totally I'm just the one
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: more thing totally disagree totally disagree. I talk to dude.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: She first of all, don't nobody on this show got
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: more excess than me. Let me say this. Let me
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: start by saying this. Anything she's into that keeps her
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: from calling the law on you and looking you by
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: child support payment, dude, dude, leave her hell alone. Dude,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: trust me on this one. Counch your blessing between her
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: boyfriend and her girlfriend, her time is gonna be jammed
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: to hell up. She ain't gonna have time literally fooling
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: with literally fooling with you. He was such a blessed man.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: If you don't know it, stay, stay on the other
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: side where you are, leave her bed. You know how
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: grand people a people leading people alone. People you need,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: you need to standing people bending it. Boy, don't worry
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: about her. She is fine. If she wants to pick
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: up skeet shooting, duck hunting, whatever it is, man pottering, making,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: painting the houses, fixing cars, you know what, crochet and
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I mean TV. Whatever she into, she ain't bothering you.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You need to focus on you. Them kids don't see
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: what she's doing. They're gonna be fine. Dude, dude, trust
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: me on this, but leave and it won't be what
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the more people say any time? Stand people, I don't
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: know why you cross the street and has children? Jay,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: what I'm I'm saying that at them people? Business business?
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: Those are his kids? Timmy? What does the old people
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: say when they find what is you doing over here
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: in the first place? Robert? What is your over here? Fun? Yeah?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Do your mama know you all? Hill? Stay a man?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And that's all I got to say about that. Yeah,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: thanks for nothing taking the words with my mama? What's
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: there something here bout to you? Over a message? What
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you do? All right? Coming up, we'll have the nephews
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: response at twenty three after the hours you're listening to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, we are in the
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: middle of part two of today's Strawberry Letters. Subject is
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: concerned father or jealous ex husband. I'll do a recap quickly.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: This recently divorced man. He has joint custody of his children.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: He and his wife they hooked up like one time
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: right after they got divorced, and uh, but they've moved
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: on since then. And she is dating a guy. She's
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: only been dating him for two months. And so she
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: has a boyfriend and she has a girlfriend. So now
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: she is telling her ex husband he's the one that
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: wrote the letter, that she wants her children their children
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to meet the boyfriend and the girlfriend. The ex husband
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: is concerned about that. He thinks that she's it's too
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: much this love triangle, and he's concerned about his children,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: but he doesn't want to come across as a jealous
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: ex husband. He has asked for advice as to what
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: he should do. Nephew, you are up, now, come on, Tommy.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: He really asked for some help with this, no problem
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: at all, called. I promise you legitimate help. Honestly, I
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: think you should take your ex wife out to dinner.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I think you guys should sit down and have a
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: very good conversation. You should let her know that you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: don't condone the activity that she's doing. But just tell her.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I'm not gonna knock what you're doing, because this is
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: maybe the new you, this is what you want to do.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: But I am concerned about the well being of our children.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: So if you could possibly for me, as a parent
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: that's concerned, how about you keep this completely away from
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: our children. Just keep this activity away. I'm not saying
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I'm not telling you to stop. I can't tell you
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: what to do, but I'm asking you, as the other parents,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: would you do this for me so our children won't be,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: you know, tied up in the middle of this. Does
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: that make sense? I'm speechless. It makes sense that you
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: that was great? Well, I mean that that's a great answer.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: That's what I was saying, you know, shouldn't expose her
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: children to all this. Lead by example, I get you
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: the time of my answer. You know it was great.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Now if you're asking tell me, then here we go.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: What do the girlfriend look like? Bar huh? Let me
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: tell you something. Had we look if we knew we
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: had a girlfriend, when she had a girlfriend, we wouldn't
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: have got the boys in the first place. Boyd, listen
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to me. Figure out a way to get yourself into
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: the party. See if they got a little wiggle room
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: so you can get back here meet the girlfriend and
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: least be one big happen. Huh. She liked too, She
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: like three? Yeah, when they like to trust me that
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: the four can enter into the room. It's just one mom,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: just one mom. Yeah. So that and and the other
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: thing is you're gonna need somebody to hold the camera.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I mean, come on now, we're making videos. Yeah, we're
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: making video. I hadn't been in there with a selfish stick.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: It's hard, but work it out. Sometimes you gotta hold it.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Sometimes you need her to hold it. Sometimes it would
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: be good to hold it. Only that I'm the only
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: one that's been in the room with a selfish stick.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'm the ownest one. Yes, y'all ain't never been a
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: room and say baby holding right out. All I'm saying is,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: if you know, from a Timmy perspective, if you want
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: to have some fun, it's time to go back now
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: and explore what your ex wife is doing. Don't be jealous.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: Get in the game. Yes, that's where I would be.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: So you got Thomas and you got Tommy. Which one
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: did you like? Like? I like Tommy. If you want Toomas,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: if you want Thomas, then hey, come on, man, take
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you take your take your ex wife. I'll sit down
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: and say, hey, hey, come on now, let's let's do this,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: uh decently in order. If I don't even want to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: call this decent, but let's at least have some order
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: to it while children are not in the middle of
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: this crazy triangle you got going on. Yeah, that's what
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I was saying, you know, that's one way to look
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: at it. Call another way to look at it, leading
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: people alone. Yeah, because Jay, you were saying what for
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: those that miss saying that. My my comment was stay
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: out of other folks bidding and leading people like old
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: people tell you in a minute eating, stay out other people.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: You remember when you was in school, let's somebody to
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: be drinking a nice cold Soto and they get halfway through,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you'd be like, hey, savings, So tell your ex wife, hey,
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: save good money. Fun you're not a little bit Well,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: the ex husband did ask for some advice, and you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: know my answer earlier was that you know, he has
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: he needs to talk to his ex wife about establishing
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: boundaries and introducing uh people that she's dating to the children,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: their children, when you know there's some stability, longevity, and
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: when this more solid relationship. He is jealous though, calling
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I said that, I said, he might be just a
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: little jealous. But you know, it's nothing he can do
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: about it. It's her life. He can't really honestly tell
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: her what to do. But you know, but then the
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: sound then it sounds a little funny that right after
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: the divorce, we go back to the house and get Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I mean yeah, what's that called the last one? Is that?
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: What that is? This is our last time. This is
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: our last time. We're gonna gonna get old with and
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: go our separate ways. This is it. That's all you out.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: That's very unusual after divorce that one more time and
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: now she's in his love triangle. Yeah yeah, yeah, because
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: everybody I'm seeing lead the court room and left cussing.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I ain't never seen nobody
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: to leave. We're gonna go back to the house, get
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: a drink and get our book at home. I ain't
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: never seen that, right, right, right, right. If it's over,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: it's over all right. If you have any comments on
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter, you can email or instagram us your
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: thoughts at Steve Harvey FM, or you can even go
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: to lips Bark Carla and comment on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: But coming up in about ten minutes, we will have
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: more highlights and discussions from last night Bobby Brown story.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Oh b et Bobby. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, nephew, Tommy, you want
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to talk to the people. What you got going on?
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: What is this midweek confessions at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: What is it? Now? You know what? It's labor day
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: weeking in midweek year hump day confessions. That's what this deal.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Labor they midweek hump they confessions. This is what you
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: call the nephew. And you don't give me your name.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: You can use any fictitious name. And you know, you
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: give us a call at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: and you confess anything that you did crazy, anything that
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: you want to get off your chest. Just remember, find
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: you another name. Okay, goodness? Yeah, eight seven seven nine Steve,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: give the nephew a call and uh, we'll get to
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: your calls at the top of the hour. But if
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you're in your car right now, yeah, it work. Everybody
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: at the job. I'm sure they are talking about the
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Bobby Brown movie. Last Night, Part one premiered on b
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: et Man Man, oh man. This movie was really good.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: When we have to give a shout out, shout out
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: to Witty McCain. He played Bobby Brown. This boy right here, Yeah,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: he put it down. And also Gabrielle Dennis. Abrielle Dennis,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: you've seen her on the game. She did her thing
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: as Whitney Houston. Both of them were very good, very convincing.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Mccai feffer played Bobby's brother, Tommy Brown, who was his manager.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: So the movie kind of picked up where New Edition
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: story left off, where Bobby was kicked out of the
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: group New Addition and starting his solo career and um,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: he had to go back home and try to, you know,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: get this thing together and see how he was gonna
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: really pursue his solo career and not just sing R
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: and B slow songs. You know, he wanted that sound,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: that edgy sound, and Ralph tresvand had advised him that
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: you can do it, but you need to get with
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the right producer. And then while we see Teddy Riley
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: and we see how that relationship, how they got together,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Lewis no Teddy Ry Yeah, and baby Face and baby
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: Faces and right yeah baby, he says written for everyone. Yeah,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: l A read in baby Face. You know, they were
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: doing their thing as well, and they were big time,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and so Bobby got with them too, and he appreciate
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: the beats and the sound that they were giving him,
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: but he wanted that edgy sound. And so that's why
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: you really want to get with Teddy Riley and that
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: sound that blew him up my prerogative. And then Bobby started,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you know, he started making it big and selling records,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: and you know, he performed at a concert in Georgia
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: and the police had warned him about doing all that
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: sexual gyrating on stage and all of that, and they
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: told him not to do it, and he did it.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: But come to find out, he did it on purpose
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to get arrested because he wanted to be yeah, that
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: bad boy, and it helped him sell records. You know
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you don't have a concert like that,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: people are upset today. It was like right on stage
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: and carried them right on off that stage. You got
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: it at right, Yeah, you know. All and all though
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: the Bobby that I have met in the Bobby I
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: love me some Bobby Brown, you know what I mean.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Bobby that I know that that I did the Essence
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Festival with so many years. I loved that Bobby Brown.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: So you know, I guess I'm seeing the ups and
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: downs that he had coming up, and you know, I
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: have the Bobby that's after he's gone through, you know,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: And that's that's the weird thing too. When you meet Bobby,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: it's it's hard to imagine that he had the life
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: that he had because he's such a down to earth person. Man.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: It real good guy. Yeah. I've met him a couple
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: of times. Um. I met him Mad Circle of Sisters
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: in New York. Uh. He loves the prank calls. Tommy.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: He told me to tell you that. I think you
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: already know that. Did I tell you what he told me?
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: He just he had just gotten in trouble for something
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: that he got pulled over. You know why I got
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: pulled over and they took me in. You know why?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: I said why? Because I was listening to them prank call.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: That's why I was like, not gonna blame that on me. Bobby,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: he's such you know what he told me. He didn't
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: tell me anything. I just wanted to have one of
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: the moment moment I have ding. I heard a lot
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: about Bobby. Bobby went through a lot, a lot of tragedies, Uh,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: in his life. Wow. Yeah, him and Whitney together, man,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: it's just like wow, yeah and yeah. And according to
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: the movie, he found out that Whitney was doing drugs
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: on the day they got married. That's when he actually
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: found that out and then you know, they became husband
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: and wife, and then you know, the drugs and alcohol
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: addiction was in full swing, and his brother was concerned
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: about him, and his career was going down and he
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: wasn't paying money and all they were doing was just

- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I get a new batch every year. So when you
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: say you get the new batch you get you get
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: new mistresses every year. That what happened? Yes, okay, So

- 1:20:10Speaker 1: is it so special about her that that you had
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: to step out and and and and and get a
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: relationship with her instead of being at home with wife. Honestly?
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: Mm hmm okay. Well, the problem is that I used
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to get you know, my my clothes on. I used
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to get a meal when I come home. This this
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: this new mistress, she's a chef, so she cooked for me.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Make sure I got something to eat. If I need
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: a couple of dollars, which I don't need me, so

- 1:20:59Speaker 1: wife cook like that. Take care you. You know what
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know, because you've been married sixteen years,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: so something must be good. See back I was, I've
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: been married sixteen years to him, been a twenty and
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: call that stuff. This fell off all of a sudden,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: and I don't be blaming the bridge. I'm the brand
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: winner of the family. Now come on, now, can I
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: can I ask the questions? You asking a question in
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: my booth, Jake, in the times that you've been married?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: How many mistresses have you had? Oh? My god? Who?
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I can't count them? Okay, okay, okay, let's do it
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: like this. See Mac, you've been married for sixteen When
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: did you get that first mistress? What year were we
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: on at the same time I married her? You have

- 1:21:56Speaker 1: He always had a mistress always always. Okay, okay, see Max,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: So so see Max? Do see how I don't know
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: if this is a word or not. Do she have
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: a mysterious I don't know where she got. It really
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter. I mean, we can
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: all join together, tell you truth, you know what I mean? Yeah?
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: You do need see Mac place though, and starting. I
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: can see what you're going with it. Now tell me
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: about the other mister. One is a show. She just
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: moved away and she's younger, and I'm glad she moved
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: away because my pockets she was digging into my pocket
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: too much. Oh the younger would needed money. Yeah, she
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: was digging to but she don't need money. I can't
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: do that. So that's why I gotta get another batch
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: another the wall. She got to go you okay, okay,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: so so can you see we can look for you
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: to get your seat and see Mac place up and
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: running in the next six months. She's hold I might
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: call it. Yeah wait Mac old school girl and the
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: phrase you do over that it's not gonna work. Well,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: can't ask him if he watched the Bobby Brown story
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: because he's been busy. So that's an all right, we
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: gotta go see Mac. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Morning Show. We are in the middle of midweek Confessions

- 1:23:39Speaker 1: my booth. It's the confession booth. This is what you
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: call and let me know what you did this past
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: week that you are really not really feeling good about it,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: but you want to just get it off your chest.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, it's nephew Timmi's Confessions.
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Give me a call right now, Line U six. Tommy
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Charles from Columbia, South Carolina. Y'all on town, Jay Charles, Hey,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: what's going on? What's going on? What's going on with man?
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: What's your confession? Man? Well, uh, this past labor day,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: this past Labor day week, my wife had some issues
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: with her car, so I had to take her to um,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: had to pick up from from her hair appointment. So
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I'm walking into hair appointment and on Behol's we start
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: talking and the ladiest doing their hair is my old
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: girlfriend back in college. She just moved to the area.
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: They're talking and everything, and she looked at me, and
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I looked at her, and it's like like, like, what
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: are you doing here? What are you doing? I didn't
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: say nothing to her, but she didn't say nothing to me.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: And it's been about like three or four days now
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: I ain't saying nothing to my wife. I ain't telling her.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: And she likes the lady. She likes the way she
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: does her hair and everything, and she, you know, thinking
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: about going back and they're talking about hanging out and
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: stuff like that. But you know, no, no, they ain't hooked.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: They hooked eyes up. They contact me. That's that's what happened.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I looked at her. I looked at her, she looked
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: at me. I was like, you know, I got real big,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: and she just got you know, I got big, and
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: you know, she's just she's just talking to her. I'm
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: just sitting there reading the magazine, just like I need
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to go back in the car, and so do I
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: need gonna Boudre. You know, most most men can't stay
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: in the same room with something like that. Most men.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I got to get up out. So
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: I don't know if I just say something to her,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: tell her like you should you should have a good
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: hair dress. She needs to know who's doing her hair.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: And this this woman has history. What I'm man money,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: But you do know, you know, not people that do here.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: They people that do here, They ask you know, where
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you're from and everything. And she my wife told her
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: world where she from, and oh yeah, my husband's from there.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: We met there and blah whatever whatever. So you know,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: I tried to change this up you real quick, and
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: she might put two and two together. But but Tommy,
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I ain't seen her in about fifteen years. She looked
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: she's bad, man, bad. And I know how how I
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: was banging because most house dollars, they help me banging
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: one down. It's down her back and she's doing her
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: hair and everything. We're just talking just like man, I
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: gotta I don't know if you know. Okay, let me
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: let me let me ask you this. Ever since that
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: day in the House of Love, how many times have
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: you thought about the house styles? Real? Be real with me, y'all.
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: Come on, y'all a little bit. I need. I'm trying
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: not to do nothing with my wife. I don't want
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: to sweat it out. So she got to go back
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: to the body to beat alone. I ain't trying to
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: be man, but I'm thinking about hitting her up on
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: Facebook and just saying, what's up to her? You know, Hey,
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: how you doing? You know, hey, let's keep it, you know,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: for business professional or whatever. And she just moved Charles
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: if I was you, I can they get me a permit?
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: Let her do my head? If you want to see
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: you you know what I'm saying. If you just want
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: to see we gotta go. We'll be back with more.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, nephew, you
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: are on fire this hour with your midweek confessions. They

- 1:27:31Speaker 1: part two if you want to comment on the Bobby
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Brown movie that jumped off last night. Part one was
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the last night. Part two is tonight, So we're gonna
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: lead that open for you if you want to discuss.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: But let's go call them who we got. Let's go
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: to Tampa, Florida and talk to Robert Bobby online for Robert. Right,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: what's going on, man, what's your what's your confession this morning? Rob? Yes, sir,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: my profession man is um. You know, I love my
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: girl to death and I don't like the time I
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: love her, but I just do not like a man.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: And that's why I just learned that about a month
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: to ago. But you know what, it's a lot to
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: me about four years. All there's a lot of men
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: actually understand that statement. I love but I don't like it.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: But go ahead four years and what I'm talking about, man,
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: it's she do some good things, man, But then sometimes
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: she's like every time we're watching the movie, she she
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: got the talk, you know exactly when she watching the movie.
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: I want you say nothing. If you know what I'm saying.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: It's like, I mean, you want to be your argument
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: in the car. She's real dangerous. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: I'm getting hit in the car while I'm trying to drive.
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I mean she hits you.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Yea god, man, I ain't no woman. I'm I'm old school.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Man's real man. Yeah, I'm just talking about are you driving?
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: She just popping outside the head. What's she's doing, yeah,
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: kind of grab a real anything. Anything she big what
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: she going in on it, going in on it, and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: she's going hard. Go ahead and defending this one call. Well,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: now I'm not I don't think condemned the violence like
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: that she needs to keep her hands to herself exactly.
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but we're working. We're working on that. It's
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: just it's taking it long. I mean she I mean
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: it's from a fast relationship, you know, I know, she
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: had a lot of stuff that went on, you know
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: what I'm saying, And I just want to I just
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: want to be like, you know, the brothers gotta step
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: up out here, you know what I'm saying. We gotta
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: we gotta tighten up, man, because we still got an
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: obligation to treat these women right and like really bring
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: them out of the stuff that we don't went through
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: all of the time, the five You know what I'm saying.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: If you want to talk about everything that you know,
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: you know, you know, right, we gotta bring them out
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: of the things that they have gone through because they're
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: holding that that that grudge or whatever took place in
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: that past relationship, man, and they bring it to the
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: next relationship and they expect, even anticipate that the next
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: man gonna do the same thing, when really we're trying
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: to be a better man. Yeah, getting the man I'm
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: talking about, Man, it ain't foul, dude, trying to be
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: good dude, trying to read magazines. Man, trying to find out. Okay,
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I can't don't do this to the leader. Don't you
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. I mean, it's it's rough, man,
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: it's rough, And I really, I really just wanted to
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: understand that. You know what I'm saying, Just just just
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: take a step back and look at what you got.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: You don't done so much on what happened in the past.
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: Check out what you got right now. You know what
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I'm saying. Oh, you know, that's all. That's my confession. Man.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: I love him a girl. Man, But that's good. You know,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: just keep keep pressing. It's it's gonna all come together, man,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: Just keep pressing ball, keep doing the right thing and
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: come together. That's it. Robert, all right, ain't you ain't

- 1:31:37Speaker 1: for governor in Florida. And now now Jay Anthony Brown
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: nephew Tommy Boston, Massachusetts. Come on, we have to say
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: congratulations to Ayanna Presley last time that's in the stageure.
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: She can't actually fix a life. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: But congratulations again to you to Ayanna Pressley last night. Yes,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: ten term Democratic Representative Mike Capiano in Boston. Now, Ayana
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: is a rising star in the Democratic parties and it
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: seems like that the party voters they want change, they
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: want a new look for the Democrats and minorities and women.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: So this is an important important time. You gotta vote
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: in the primaries, and you have to get ready to
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: vote for the mid term elections to be mad enough
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: to vote. If you're mad, that's what you gotta do,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: and stay mad enough to vote. Go to a former
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: First Lady Michelle Obama. She has a voter registration and
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: a voter information initiative, and you can go to the
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: website at when we Vote dot org. When we Vote
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: dot org you can get information and you can also
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: register to vote when we Vote dot org. And if
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: you can hear my voice, you can hear us the
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: state of Florida, the entire state of Florida. Y'all got
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: to get out and vote this midterm election. Everywhere, but
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: especially it can be done. We can get this done.
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: We can get it. I think I think you know
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: what I think, guys. I think, uh, the younger generation
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: is actually gonna be the turning point. That's why I
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: think it's gonna really get out of this. I think
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: that's what's gonna make a difference. I really do. We
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: need to encourage you all, especially you are to just
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: got there and you are now able to vote. Please
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: make sure you get out and vote, because I don't
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: think they're feeling out of this hate that's coming from
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: the other side. And then then they're not with it.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: They don't live that type of life. You know that
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: about mingling and making friends and internet and it's just different. Yeah,
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: and and and they also you know the messages if
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: you're I like what you're saying to me about talking
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: to young people. Gonnabout voting. If you're of age and
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: you're able to vote, do not wait and say, oh, well,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: this is not a presidential election year, so I'm not
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: going to vote. You have to vote now. You have
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: to vote in these mid term elections coming up on
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: November six. Exercise your right to vote. This is local elections,
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: judgment important because they affect you personally and when you
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: see what your neighborhood changes. That has to do with
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: a lot of mid term elections. And if you don't
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: get the people in and there's nothing gonna be there
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: for you. So yeah, it affects your community. As you know,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: we're called. When I really got the voting energy is
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: when I got to I mean you, you and I
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: were down the street from each other going to school,
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: but I was at Texas and m you were a
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: prey of you. But just the energy of the student body. Yeah,
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: the whole thing was, man, we we gotta vote. We
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: gotta vote, we gotta vote, and we we were we
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: registered on campus. We did everything necessary and make sure
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: everybody got voted, and we we really pushed the you
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: of making sure you were registered and you voted every
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: time the terms came around. So you gotta do it.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: But but college was the big turning point for me
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: as far as voting as concerns. Absolutely right. And just
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: like we were talking about Andrew gillim from the former
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: mayor of Tallahassee, which you know, Tallahassee is home of
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: Florida A and M University, the Rattlers. That is a
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: big HBCU uh school, So you know Howard University, all
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: of these HBCUs. You know we're on the home station there.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: You guys gotta get out registered to vote. Young people.
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: Mid term elections very important for the House and the Congress.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: I mean, Jay, you you watch news, Jay Anthony Brown,
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: he watches the news all the time. He up on
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: what's going on with the President and what's happening Supreme
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: Court justice. You saw yesterday, Uh, the hearings of confirmation
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: hearings and the protests and things that are going on.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: You need to understand and know what these people, what
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: their policies are, where they stand on different issues that
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: can affect you and your future. So you've got to
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: make sure that you register and go out and vote.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: They got a file that's forty something thousand pages. But
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: that's not all of it, you know it's not and
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: and but they haven't even been able to read ten
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: percent of that, you know, as for as what's what's
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: the guy that's they're up, that's up for the judge
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: having on. So you know what they're asking is we
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: need time to go through this, and you're trying to
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: rush the issue, and we need the rest of the papers.
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: Forty thousand is not all of the papers that they have.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: They have a lot of information that they decided not
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: to give. And when they say, you know, if you
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: want to make choose judges, then you gotta win elections.
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: Well that didn't happen when Barack Obama tried to appointed
- 1:36:48Speaker 1: judge because they wouldn't put it on the floor at all. Yeah,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: they waited, which it was gone right. So you gotta
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: get out registered to vote, lead and vote. When we
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: vote dot org is like I said as former First
