- 2:34Speaker 1: please work for the money making conversation. The CEO and
- 2:37Speaker 1: founder of shoe Gummy, Chantel Jackson, Good morning. Did I
- 2:43Speaker 1: let you out there? I put you at that pedalstor
- 2:45Speaker 1: you're supposed to be at for this interview? Well, I'm
- 2:52Speaker 1: you're doing a lot of women right out there with
- 2:54Speaker 1: these high heels because that is a fashion trend that
- 2:57Speaker 1: has been around, uh for ages, for years forever. It's
- 3:01Speaker 1: not going anywhere, and so you are a person that
- 3:05Speaker 1: that that possessed that style. Where are you based at?
- 3:09Speaker 1: I am based in California right now? Okay? So you
- 3:12Speaker 1: say right now where were you previously based? Um? Las
- 3:18Speaker 1: Vegas and I am from Miami. Okay, okay, Okay, so
- 3:22Speaker 1: you're saying Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, So you were
- 3:25Speaker 1: just making your way to the West coast. Yeah, okay, cool.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Now let's talk about They sent me a series of
- 3:32Speaker 1: questions that I'm gonna ask and and some questions I'm
- 3:34Speaker 1: gonna add too, because I'm just a naturally curious person
- 3:37Speaker 1: when I talk about people who are being success. One
- 3:39Speaker 1: of the first questions they sent to me was when
- 3:42Speaker 1: did the entrepreneurship bug bite you? Um? You know what,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I was, honestly at a point in my life where, um,
- 3:53Speaker 1: certain things wasn't working out for me. I acting, I
- 3:58Speaker 1: was going to act in class acting school, and I
- 4:03Speaker 1: was just at a certain point and I was like,
- 4:05Speaker 1: you know what, I'm gonna put my all into this
- 4:09Speaker 1: product and i want this to be my a plan
- 4:13Speaker 1: and I'm gonna go with this and I want to
- 4:15Speaker 1: give it a hundred percent. And that's what I did. Now,
- 4:18Speaker 1: where were you at because we mentioned three cities. We
- 4:20Speaker 1: mentioned Miami, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. When you were
- 4:23Speaker 1: becoming frustrated and you had this idea, what city were
- 4:26Speaker 1: you in? Uh l A, Los Angeles. I'm being a
- 4:31Speaker 1: guy who pursued an acting career. I know the frustrations.
- 4:35Speaker 1: You go to acting classes, you go to auditions, they
- 4:38Speaker 1: tell you know, you don't know why they Why are
- 4:39Speaker 1: they telling you know? You don't know if you deliver
- 4:41Speaker 1: the line right? Did you do the commercial auditions as
- 4:45Speaker 1: well as the theatrical auditions as well? Um? Yes, I
- 4:49Speaker 1: was doing both. But then I was also at a
- 4:53Speaker 1: stage in my life where honestly just got a got
- 4:57Speaker 1: out of a breakup. I was going through a lot
- 4:59Speaker 1: right and just acting it. I wasn't fit with that
- 5:04Speaker 1: bug anymore. And I had this product and I knew
- 5:08Speaker 1: how it worked for myself, So it was just that
- 5:11Speaker 1: a ha moment, like you know what, this is what
- 5:14Speaker 1: I need to go with right now. Now, this is
- 5:17Speaker 1: really interesting because of the fact that you have this
- 5:20Speaker 1: all hard moment, you have this product. This is what's
- 5:22Speaker 1: really interesting about our conversation is that how did the
- 5:27Speaker 1: product come about and how did you realize that it
- 5:30Speaker 1: was its Aha moment can be functional and everybody else
- 5:34Speaker 1: would want to participate in this a hard moment idea. So,
- 5:41Speaker 1: just to be really honest, being obsessed with high heels,
- 5:47Speaker 1: that is that was my inspiration behind Shoes at Me
- 5:50Speaker 1: wearing and being in shoes for over eight nine ten
- 5:54Speaker 1: hours in a day. Um, honestly, I didn't know what
- 5:57Speaker 1: a pair of sneakers were or pair of flasks into
- 6:00Speaker 1: the world unless I was working out. So high heels
- 6:06Speaker 1: was my thing is my thing, and I just had
- 6:10Speaker 1: to come up with a way for it to be
- 6:12Speaker 1: more comfortable. And shoot, let me with it now. So
- 6:16Speaker 1: it was a lifestyle invention, a lifestyle invention to make
- 6:19Speaker 1: your life more comfortable. Now, I'm a guy, so please
- 6:23Speaker 1: explain help me. You'll know the women already know. We
- 6:26Speaker 1: got these high heels. The ladies look fantastic in these
- 6:29Speaker 1: high heels. What are they? What is the what is
- 6:32Speaker 1: the pain that comes with wearing high heels? So, just
- 6:37Speaker 1: with being in high heels, your foot is in an
- 6:40Speaker 1: unnatural position. Um, two, three, four or five If that's
- 6:48Speaker 1: that's not a position for your foot. And then the
- 6:51Speaker 1: weight bearing down in that position is what really kills
- 6:55Speaker 1: you on the balls of your feet. Okay, So I'm
- 6:58Speaker 1: in my studio. You know, I'm on my little tippy toes.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to feel your pain here,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Sean Tel. Okay, so I'm on my tippy toes and
- 7:08Speaker 1: you're saying, imagine standing like this for eight hours a day,
- 7:12Speaker 1: that's what you're saying, right exactly. Or some women can't
- 7:16Speaker 1: even stand up being the pair of hills an hour
- 7:18Speaker 1: or two hours. And just imagine you're in that position
- 7:25Speaker 1: and over standing stand right over, seventy of your body
- 7:33Speaker 1: weight is on the balls of your feet for hours
- 7:38Speaker 1: right now. Din't imagine this what stops your foot from
- 7:41Speaker 1: just sliding right on out um of the high yell one.
- 7:50Speaker 1: If you have a closed toe shoe, then your foot's
- 7:53Speaker 1: not going to slide out, but it can slide and
- 7:56Speaker 1: be crunched in the front, right, that's what we're talking about. Yeah,
- 8:01Speaker 1: if you have an open toes too, you have that
- 8:04Speaker 1: little piece of that little strip in the front that helps.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But a lot of women's feet because of the arch
- 8:11Speaker 1: or the steepness and the shoe do still fly forward.
- 8:15Speaker 1: And shoe got me helps with that as well, right,
- 8:18Speaker 1: so it stops their toes from going over to the
- 8:20Speaker 1: edge on the edge of the shoe, right that you're
- 8:23Speaker 1: talking about. Okay, to have six sisters, so I've watched
- 8:27Speaker 1: them do this high heel walking um dance for many years. Well,
- 8:34Speaker 1: but I gotta play like I don't know to get
- 8:36Speaker 1: more information. Okay, I can sit on this phone act
- 8:40Speaker 1: like I know everything because you won't tell many things
- 8:41Speaker 1: because but aartists are walking away and go, well, I
- 8:44Speaker 1: didn't learn anything from the interview because of the fact
- 8:46Speaker 1: that this you you invented something that was on my toes.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And I'm just to be honest with you. Rochean McDonald
- 8:53Speaker 1: would not have stood there long. I would have been
- 8:55Speaker 1: out of those shoes a long time ago because that
- 8:58Speaker 1: just wasn't so so you have let me just help
- 9:01Speaker 1: help me out here. Because I've heard words like high heels.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I've heard words like pumps. Now pumps are lower version
- 9:08Speaker 1: of high heels. Correct, um No, not necessarily like um
- 9:15Speaker 1: open toe shoe a pump. Those can be in the
- 9:19Speaker 1: range of a two inch three inchield four inch five pump.
- 9:24Speaker 1: A pump is a closed to shoe, whether it's round
- 9:27Speaker 1: at the front or appointed. Wow. So now we we
- 9:32Speaker 1: we we got the experience. So you're saying that, hey,
- 9:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna put this acting thing is not really doing
- 9:39Speaker 1: it for me. I have this idea, I'm gonna go
- 9:41Speaker 1: all in. This is gonna be my plan A. How
- 9:44Speaker 1: do you go to plan a with this idea, because
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's still just an idea. Did you do samples? Did
- 9:50Speaker 1: you go to somebody, did you start telling them at
- 9:52Speaker 1: flea markets or pop up boots? How did you get started? So? Um,
- 9:59Speaker 1: before I figure this is gonna be my plan a,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I have been wearing my product for years already. Um.
- 10:10Speaker 1: One day I was sitting and I thought, looking at
- 10:13Speaker 1: my shoes, honestly, how can I make this more comfortable?
- 10:16Speaker 1: I went to my shoe repair guy um at the time,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and I asked him, what is an amount of rubber
- 10:27Speaker 1: that I can put on the bottom of my shoe? Um,
- 10:31Speaker 1: and I can still walk in it safely and comfortable.
- 10:36Speaker 1: So uh, we came up with in size or an
- 10:41Speaker 1: amount of rubber. I picked up the shoe about a
- 10:44Speaker 1: week later, and I wore that shoe, and I kid
- 10:48Speaker 1: you not, I was taking my shoes twenty and thirty
- 10:51Speaker 1: pair at a time for him to put this extra
- 10:54Speaker 1: rubber on the bottom of my shoe. Mm hmm. So
- 10:59Speaker 1: it was just like an idea. It's really it's really
- 11:01Speaker 1: amazing that you were able to not saying that you care,
- 11:04Speaker 1: not incapable of so many women out there probably feeling
- 11:07Speaker 1: the same pain and then you decided to just to
- 11:11Speaker 1: take action on it. And when you took action on it,
- 11:13Speaker 1: it enabled you to create a business. Now, how do
- 11:16Speaker 1: you get into the business aspect of what you're doing?
- 11:19Speaker 1: That's the that's the that's the key. Now you know
- 11:22Speaker 1: you you went from a person who are wanted to
- 11:25Speaker 1: be an actress. You got this idea, Now you're putting
- 11:29Speaker 1: it in action. How do we get into a business
- 11:31Speaker 1: mode with it? So before anything, I thought, you know what,
- 11:38Speaker 1: let me see if this is even a thing anywhere
- 11:42Speaker 1: else or whatnot? What went to your girlfriends or you
- 11:46Speaker 1: just want to your family members? Who did you go to? Um? No,
- 11:51Speaker 1: I immediately went to a patent lawyers. If I'm sorry, Richana,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I was a little bit of pro I've been. I'm
- 11:59Speaker 1: past that. I went to patent lawyer. Okay, Yeah, So
- 12:04Speaker 1: I went to a patent lawyer and we had to
- 12:07Speaker 1: do what is called a patent research, which searches the
- 12:11Speaker 1: database first to see if there's anything else in the
- 12:17Speaker 1: US patent database. That is what shogun me is and
- 12:24Speaker 1: we've seen that it was not, and that's where we
- 12:27Speaker 1: moved forward. Had to get all the terminology the lane
- 12:32Speaker 1: going together to start to create my patent application. Wow,
- 12:38Speaker 1: Now on your website said it took two and a
- 12:41Speaker 1: half years for your patent to go through. Yes, okay, Now,
- 12:46Speaker 1: were you're afraid that somebody will steal your idea? What
- 12:49Speaker 1: was going what was running through your mind in a
- 12:51Speaker 1: two and a half of your period? Let me ask you.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Let me back up. Were you selling your product at
- 12:57Speaker 1: all at that time you had to shut it down
- 12:59Speaker 1: and just wait for your patent to come through? No? No, honestly,
- 13:03Speaker 1: at that point, I wasn't selling products. I was still
- 13:07Speaker 1: in research development phase, like the start start. So as
- 13:13Speaker 1: soon as I went and got a patent attorney, I
- 13:16Speaker 1: went and found a company that did cat designing and
- 13:20Speaker 1: products development to help me start to get my shoe
- 13:26Speaker 1: gummy uh designed together to make it a consumer product. Okay,
- 13:33Speaker 1: and so so now two and a half years that period,
- 13:36Speaker 1: you just just preparing because you feel very confident that
- 13:39Speaker 1: you're gonna get through. You just don't know when that
- 13:41Speaker 1: date's going to happen. You're still in Los Angeles right now,
- 13:43Speaker 1: are you gathering Are you gathering momentum work working on designs?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Because I'm on your website and your shoes are amazing.
- 13:50Speaker 1: By the way, are those your shoes? Are These are
- 13:54Speaker 1: shoes you can just put the inserts in on your website.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Um uh, those are my shoes. Wow. When I say
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm a shoe sell the shoes are fantastic. Oh tell you.
- 14:11Speaker 1: So these shoes off the chain right here. I'm looking
- 14:13Speaker 1: at the shoot on your home page. These the red,
- 14:16Speaker 1: the yellow, that black. Oh my god. Yeah, you know
- 14:23Speaker 1: what I call it. That's my good bad habit. Well,
- 14:28Speaker 1: we'll keep it up, keep this good habit going because
- 14:30Speaker 1: of the fact that I'm just saying. You know, the
- 14:32Speaker 1: thing about it is we all know that as you
- 14:34Speaker 1: look through life, as you deal with different situations, you
- 14:38Speaker 1: have to be a believer in yourself. You have to
- 14:40Speaker 1: have the right people around you. The fact that you
- 14:42Speaker 1: came up with an idea basically to find comfort for
- 14:45Speaker 1: your personal lifestyle, and then now you're able to use
- 14:48Speaker 1: it to for financial benefit, it's pretty amazing. I'm talking
- 14:51Speaker 1: to Sean tell Jackson. She's the founder and CEO of
- 14:54Speaker 1: A shoe Got Me. When we come back, we're gonna
- 14:56Speaker 1: talk about some other ventures that she's involved in. All
- 15:00Speaker 1: I'm enjoined his interview. I always like talking to entrepreneurs,
- 15:02Speaker 1: because ideas are really ideas that you know, somehow people
- 15:07Speaker 1: developed through common sense, and they turn that common sense
- 15:09Speaker 1: and they used that common sense to turn it into
- 15:11Speaker 1: a business, and they turn that business into a money
- 15:14Speaker 1: making lifestyle. We'll be right back from more with Chantel Jackson,

- 17:25Speaker 1: the air so we can confinish because we can finish
- 17:28Speaker 1: this interview and grand style. Chantel Jackson, You the CEO,
- 17:31Speaker 1: the founder of Shoe gut Me, Shoe gumm Me. Now
- 17:34Speaker 1: let's let's I gotta at least find out where the
- 17:36Speaker 1: title came from the name of the brand gum meat.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You know what I I I can't honestly tell you
- 17:47Speaker 1: where it came from. It was just like I was
- 17:53Speaker 1: writing down Maine and that one just came across my
- 17:58Speaker 1: mind and it's out better than anything else, and so
- 18:05Speaker 1: I kept it. And honestly, I've been told to change
- 18:10Speaker 1: it is not right. Um, it sounds like something to eat.
- 18:14Speaker 1: But I was like, this is what I want to
- 18:17Speaker 1: go with, and that's what I'm gonna do. What crazy
- 18:20Speaker 1: person told you to change it? What crazy person told
- 18:22Speaker 1: you to change that, we won't say no. Just soon
- 18:25Speaker 1: listen to them because the fact that you know, I
- 18:28Speaker 1: don't know what Google means. You know what I'm saying,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I don't know what Google means. Apple that's a computer company.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Apple is fruit. So when people you have to go
- 18:37Speaker 1: with it. What inspires you? That's a story behind everything
- 18:40Speaker 1: that you do. You know. And when I heard the
- 18:42Speaker 1: word names shook got me. I'm gonna tell you how
- 18:44Speaker 1: I found you. You know, I'm on Instagram. I'm I'm
- 18:47Speaker 1: rolling through and now I see I come to you.

- 18:56Speaker 1: seven thousand follows on Instagram. I'm big on Facebook now,
- 18:58Speaker 1: don't don't know shopping down. Yeah, I'm big on Facebook,
- 19:01Speaker 1: but on instagral to build my Facebook. I'm trying to
- 19:04Speaker 1: build my Facebook up. Well, you know, it's really hard
- 19:06Speaker 1: because your Twitter is like ridiculous. Twitter is ridiculous. Now,
- 19:10Speaker 1: so you you're you are a queen baller on Instagram
- 19:14Speaker 1: and so and so. I bring this up because you're
- 19:17Speaker 1: an entrepreneur and you're an attractive entrepreneur. Does that help
- 19:21Speaker 1: you or hurt you when you're trying to get your
- 19:24Speaker 1: brand out? Because as a brand, your great model for
- 19:26Speaker 1: your brand. Just talk about that for a little bit,
- 19:29Speaker 1: because you know, we're in me two generations where where
- 19:32Speaker 1: people could look at an attractive woman and just have
- 19:35Speaker 1: miss misdeed ideas in their heads versus the business aspect
- 19:38Speaker 1: of what you're trying to create. Talk about that balance
- 19:41Speaker 1: that you have to create being an attractive woman in
- 19:43Speaker 1: a male dominated business. Well, you know, honestly with shoegunning
- 19:50Speaker 1: in general is dominated by women. So and it doesn't
- 19:58Speaker 1: hurt for me to be a tractive and be my
- 20:01Speaker 1: own spokeswoman. I am on the box of my product.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You know. Um, this is something I do day in
- 20:10Speaker 1: and day out. I wear heels. I'm sexy. I want
- 20:14Speaker 1: to be in my heels. I want to be comfortable.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I don't want my my my I don't want to
- 20:22Speaker 1: be at an event and I'm thinking, um, oh, I
- 20:26Speaker 1: gotta leave because my feet hurt. Like this is what
- 20:29Speaker 1: I did, right, right, right, right right, So it comes
- 20:36Speaker 1: naturally and just with this, it's generated towards women. So
- 20:43Speaker 1: it's it is easy or easier? Now, tell me do
- 20:48Speaker 1: you go to conventions? Do you go to do you
- 20:50Speaker 1: pop up? How is your brand sol is majority online
- 20:55Speaker 1: that your product is sold? Or do you do conventions
- 20:58Speaker 1: and conferences? And women are like essence or you know,
- 21:02Speaker 1: the celebration of UH Sisters and UH circular Sisters in
- 21:06Speaker 1: New York City large scale female conventions. How do you
- 21:09Speaker 1: promote your brand because you have such a tremendous following.
- 21:12Speaker 1: So as of right now, it's my own online based
- 21:16Speaker 1: sales which have been doing tremendously honestly because of what's
- 21:24Speaker 1: going on right now in the world, things have slow
- 21:28Speaker 1: down a lot. But I am blessed with still getting
- 21:31Speaker 1: customers here and there. Um, but it's not stopping um
- 21:36Speaker 1: my show, and I still have to continue on. You know,
- 21:39Speaker 1: I have other things too to produce and work on. Still, well,
- 21:45Speaker 1: let's talk about those other things, you know. Uh they
- 21:47Speaker 1: said you have other products, uh that you want to
- 21:50Speaker 1: talk about. Let's talk about some of your future ideas
- 21:52Speaker 1: fancy goods. Uh so fancy goods. Honestly, let me kind
- 21:58Speaker 1: of take it back a little bit. Okay, Shoe gut
- 22:02Speaker 1: Me has been primarily my thing for like five and
- 22:05Speaker 1: a half years now. Congratulations, year and a half, Thank you,
- 22:10Speaker 1: thank you. It's been a long time coming. And when
- 22:12Speaker 1: I say a long time, just with so much uh
- 22:19Speaker 1: wanting to quit heartache with why can't this just be
- 22:25Speaker 1: something easy. Like pe who have no idea but with
- 22:33Speaker 1: shoes got me about a year ago. Um, I was like, uh,
- 22:38Speaker 1: this is just stagnant right now, I have to do something.
- 22:42Speaker 1: So I came up with fancy goods and I just
- 22:44Speaker 1: went out on a whim and produced an eyelash company. Um,
- 22:50Speaker 1: that's something something else that I'm obsessed with. I'm gonna
- 22:55Speaker 1: go to the website. See if I see some apply light,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I see the eye lashes, I definitely see that. Okay, cool,
- 22:59Speaker 1: continue you Um so which I love you know I
- 23:03Speaker 1: love about you Sean tell you are your brand? Yes, yes,
- 23:08Speaker 1: very true. You know if you got about the shoes,
- 23:12Speaker 1: you got them. Now you saying, you know some eyelashes,
- 23:14Speaker 1: that's me and so it's nothing phony about what you're
- 23:17Speaker 1: saying in this interview. You you sell the lifestyle that
- 23:21Speaker 1: you live, which means that you're authentic. That's awesome, yes,
- 23:26Speaker 1: which honestly it makes it easy like and just to
- 23:30Speaker 1: create content for myself, Like you know what, if I'm
- 23:33Speaker 1: getting up getting dressed, I'm gonna put on my own lashes.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I get free content videos all that to continue to
- 23:41Speaker 1: post and all that good stuff. It just comes easy
- 23:45Speaker 1: but with starting Fancy Goods, I was like, you know what,
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this amount of money and I'm gonna
- 23:52Speaker 1: see I can flip it. We all know, like, well
- 23:57Speaker 1: some people know eyelashes is a real saturated market. But
- 24:01Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, I'm gonna take this.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna see what it does. And in about three
- 24:06Speaker 1: months I had this company up and running from getting
- 24:09Speaker 1: samples from vendors, taking pictures, building the website on my own,
- 24:15Speaker 1: and honestly, it's almost coming up on a year of
- 24:19Speaker 1: launching Fancy Goods and it's doing pretty well. So it
- 24:26Speaker 1: so you like a little you've becoming a little, a
- 24:29Speaker 1: little mogul over there in the beauty beauty brand business. Correct,
- 24:33Speaker 1: because now you got the shoes, You got the shoe,
- 24:35Speaker 1: got me things happening and shoes, and now you have
- 24:38Speaker 1: the lush lashes. Yes, okay, cool, Now you didn't you
- 24:44Speaker 1: didn't have to deal with any patent issues with the
- 24:46Speaker 1: lush lashes. Correct, No, no, cool, no patent issues. Okay cool.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Now we're going to the skin care products. Now you
- 24:56Speaker 1: have naturally beautiful skin, and just talk about which beauty
- 25:05Speaker 1: beauty beauty Okay, uh so a former agent of mind.
- 25:13Speaker 1: She came to me with an idea about a sponge,
- 25:19Speaker 1: and she knows how I pride myself in skincare and
- 25:24Speaker 1: all of that good stuff. Uh, so she brought this
- 25:29Speaker 1: idea to me. She asked about certain types of phones
- 25:33Speaker 1: and things like that, so I pointed her in the
- 25:36Speaker 1: right direction. Uh. She's also a steamstress, so she had
- 25:43Speaker 1: all these industrial machines too, So together the sponges and
- 25:50Speaker 1: all that good stuff. So we got the We got
- 25:53Speaker 1: the right home. We put it together for a year,
- 25:58Speaker 1: a year and a half, tested it out ourselves, and
- 26:02Speaker 1: I just thought it was time to go with it.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And so maybe not even a month ago, we launched that.
- 26:12Speaker 1: I built the website for us, and we are active. Honestly.
- 26:23Speaker 1: It's come at a time where things are so slow
- 26:27Speaker 1: right now. But if you don't put that, if you
- 26:33Speaker 1: don't put that foot forward out there, then you don't
- 26:36Speaker 1: know what's going to happen. We know the thing about
- 26:39Speaker 1: I just we all know why it's slow. We all
- 26:42Speaker 1: understand that people people don't you know, people right down
- 26:46Speaker 1: struggling to find out how to put their they foot
- 26:49Speaker 1: forward in anything right now. The thing I like about
- 26:52Speaker 1: you is that you're not letting conditions stop you from
- 26:56Speaker 1: moving forward. Because I tell people, I tell people all
- 26:58Speaker 1: the time, this is a good time to chop, it's
- 27:00Speaker 1: a good time to plan. See right now, I'm planning
- 27:03Speaker 1: for the third and the fourth quarter right now because
- 27:06Speaker 1: I know right now this country, this country is gonna
- 27:09Speaker 1: get back on his feet. And when he gets back
- 27:11Speaker 1: on his feet, it's not going gonna be walking fat,
- 27:13Speaker 1: It's gonna start running. And what you don't want to
- 27:15Speaker 1: do is sit on your rear, end on your behind,
- 27:19Speaker 1: or mope around and talking about, oh man, what I'm
- 27:22Speaker 1: gonna do. No, you're planning, you're thinking, and throughout this
- 27:25Speaker 1: whole interview, Chantelle, that's all out. That's my biggest takeaway
- 27:28Speaker 1: from you is that you're not a person that sits
- 27:31Speaker 1: around and mopes. You're not a person to go if
- 27:33Speaker 1: it's not happening over here. Oh always me, I just
- 27:36Speaker 1: is not gonna happen for me, you go. What's planning
- 27:39Speaker 1: a over here that I can build on? Is that?
- 27:41Speaker 1: Is that something that came from your parents? It's something
- 27:43Speaker 1: that just a natural quality in you. Um. I would
- 27:48Speaker 1: definitely say my parents have helped with that, especially my dad.
- 27:53Speaker 1: My dad on the pest control service in Florida. So, um,
- 28:00Speaker 1: he's an entrepreneur himself, so I have taken those good
- 28:09Speaker 1: qualities from him. Well, also my mom like he's a
- 28:13Speaker 1: very hard worker, still go to school and she's uh
- 28:20Speaker 1: three years old. I believe I love it, love it,
- 28:23Speaker 1: love it. I would tell people, don't let age determine
- 28:27Speaker 1: your dream. Don't let age tell you can stop being
- 28:30Speaker 1: something that everybody else tells you you shouldn't be. I
- 28:32Speaker 1: would look at people at my age. I go you
- 28:34Speaker 1: to my same age. I'm really shocked because I know
- 28:37Speaker 1: I don't look like you. It is when people will
- 28:39Speaker 1: decide that they need to retire in life, is when
- 28:42Speaker 1: age jumps on their back. Chantell, I don't think age
- 28:46Speaker 1: is ever gonna jump on your high heel. When Lush
- 28:49Speaker 1: wind skin tone product self at all, You're gonna be
- 28:55Speaker 1: in front of the curve. You're gonna like it's it's
- 28:57Speaker 1: a whole lot of people. By the time you're making
- 28:59Speaker 1: the A r P. You're gonna have a whole lot
- 29:01Speaker 1: of shoes and gummies and our last yes for that
- 29:06Speaker 1: group of people. See, that's what I love about you.
- 29:09Speaker 1: You are You're not gonna stop. So doty, could your
- 29:11Speaker 1: tone kind of dropped down a little bit? We said, well,
- 29:13Speaker 1: it's kind of slow right now. Don't worry about that.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Oh no, for sure. Honestly, like I still have so,
- 29:20Speaker 1: like you said, work to catch up on names that
- 29:23Speaker 1: I was cooping off that now I have more time
- 29:26Speaker 1: to do. Um. Um, it's definitely a blessing that my
- 29:31Speaker 1: my manufacturers in Maine and they're still open. So I'm
- 29:36Speaker 1: working on color samples, um getting different coloring in place. Um.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I have a larger and a smaller size for me
- 29:46Speaker 1: that I'm working to get cooling cut for. So it's
- 29:49Speaker 1: still a problem for me. Are you still popping your
- 29:52Speaker 1: well again? I wanted. I got six sisters. I love
- 29:55Speaker 1: them to death. We're talking later. I would I got
- 29:58Speaker 1: a twenty two year daughter. I would love for to
- 30:01Speaker 1: get her right, get her right, because she's not wearing
- 30:04Speaker 1: nothing you have on your website and she's five ft
- 30:07Speaker 1: nine inches all beautiful, young lady, beautiful, young, very smart
- 30:10Speaker 1: on a student studying to be game designed at the
- 30:13Speaker 1: University of Houston right now their online But you know
- 30:16Speaker 1: she's been an honor student for the last four semesters
- 30:19Speaker 1: in a row. Dean's List so to put her in
- 30:21Speaker 1: a pair of your shoegummies and your stylish high heels
- 30:24Speaker 1: and your lush lashes. I think will be a great
- 30:28Speaker 1: birthday president because her birthday President, her birthday is in June,
- 30:30Speaker 1: so I might surprise that was with your with your
- 30:33Speaker 1: with a whole lineout from you, with a picture of
- 30:35Speaker 1: you in the box. I go, I know her, you know,
- 30:43Speaker 1: you know, I know like to tell people. I know
- 30:44Speaker 1: famous people see shot tells famous and so I said,
- 30:47Speaker 1: she said, she said, she said, daddy, you know her
- 30:49Speaker 1: absolute lest mcgirl. I lost Angeles by way of Vegas
- 30:52Speaker 1: and Miami. Her daddy, you know, made pesticide business. That's
- 30:56Speaker 1: where he came from. Mama's still in school, she's doing nothing.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Want to thank you for coming on the show. I
