- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve har listening to move to other star,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please Moby, I don't join by join me, you go
- 0:53Speaker 1: with me. You gotta turning, You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, turning, got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your baby, Uh huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I Shore will come on to everybody you're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and all,
- 2:08Speaker 1: it's Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well all right,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I've learned something and it sharing time. And I am
- 2:23Speaker 1: ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all that he
- 2:27Speaker 1: allows me to learn in my life. One of the
- 2:32Speaker 1: best lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you some
- 2:39Speaker 1: great lessons. Challenges brings about some of my best results.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say is in every
- 2:50Speaker 1: challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned something so so valuable.
- 2:59Speaker 1: So here's what I've You know, I've known this, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've just learned it at a different angle. Appreciation and
- 3:09Speaker 1: gratitude is the key to having more. Now, I don't
- 3:16Speaker 1: know how that sound to you, but I can't tell
- 3:20Speaker 1: you how true it is. God being fair and just
- 3:25Speaker 1: as he really is. He really is. He's a fair
- 3:28Speaker 1: and a just God. What's most beneficial to us is
- 3:31Speaker 1: he happens to be full of mercy and grace. And
- 3:39Speaker 1: I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his
- 3:45Speaker 1: grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:51Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:04Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:09Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:13Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:19Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:24Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:28Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:31Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:34Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:41Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here. You've made it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You know, forget how rough it was, got that, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through when
- 4:56Speaker 1: it high made you feel you may made it. Now
- 5:02Speaker 1: what makes people give up and you hear about people
- 5:04Speaker 1: committing suicide, is they leave the God out of their
- 5:08Speaker 1: life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 5:15Speaker 1: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 5:17Speaker 1: stay connected to God, you can get through anything. But
- 5:22Speaker 1: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 5:28Speaker 1: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 5:32Speaker 1: with God, then who you're having a relationship with now?
- 5:36Speaker 1: And it ain't but two forces at work at all time.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's good and evil. It's positive and negative is God's satan. Now,
- 5:50Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:55Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 5:59Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:03Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:08Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:12Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:17Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:21Speaker 1: than you can bear. Okay, now that we got that clear,
- 6:24Speaker 1: that's a fact. Okay. Now with that fact in mind,
- 6:27Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:30Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:35Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:39Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:44Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:48Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:51Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation for? I mean, this
- 7:00Speaker 1: thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you think
- 7:02Speaker 1: about it? So? A lot of times, man, when I
- 7:05Speaker 1: was going through my positions of not having it and
- 7:08Speaker 1: wondering at all like here, I ended up checking myself
- 7:11Speaker 1: and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude or
- 7:14Speaker 1: appreciation for the things He has done for me. Start
- 7:17Speaker 1: showing some appreciation and gratitude because it's the key to
- 7:21Speaker 1: having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's the
- 7:25Speaker 1: key to the wonders of heaven opening up and pouring
- 7:28Speaker 1: out a blessing that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 7:32Speaker 1: It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you already have,
- 7:36Speaker 1: as minimal as it may appear to be right now
- 7:40Speaker 1: for you, it is still what you have. But if
- 7:44Speaker 1: you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal, why
- 7:51Speaker 1: would he give you the maximum. I mean, I'm just
- 7:55Speaker 1: really just trying to put it real, real, simple, so
- 7:58Speaker 1: I can keep understand in this thing right here. So
- 8:01Speaker 1: let me give you an example. In my life, I
- 8:04Speaker 1: had gotten so busy at one point that I had
- 8:09Speaker 1: begun to complain about how busy I was. This is
- 8:15Speaker 1: true because I am busy, but it ain't the busy
- 8:19Speaker 1: part because I asked to be busy, you know, I
- 8:22Speaker 1: asked God to give me opportunities and to make a
- 8:26Speaker 1: way for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:29Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:33Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:37Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:41Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:44Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:47Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:50Speaker 1: had to catch myself, and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:53Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:57Speaker 1: this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes along
- 9:01Speaker 1: with it. Because to whom much is given, much is required.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You got to start embracing the requirement part if you
- 9:08Speaker 1: want to continue with the giving part. So I changed
- 9:12Speaker 1: my attitude. I caught myself and I started thinking him
- 9:15Speaker 1: and showing real gratitude for how busy I was instead
- 9:17Speaker 1: of complaining about how busy I was. And then guess what,
- 9:20Speaker 1: It opened up the windows of heaven and some more
- 9:23Speaker 1: blessings got poured out. It just works that way all
- 9:26Speaker 1: the time, for everybody, for me, for you, for everybody.
- 9:30Speaker 1: So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:34Speaker 1: key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude is the
- 9:38Speaker 1: key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and gratitude it's
- 9:42Speaker 1: the only way that you can get those windows of
- 9:45Speaker 1: heaven to open up and pour out to these blessings
- 9:47Speaker 1: that you won't have room enough to receive. You got
- 9:50Speaker 1: to act like you're glad for what you got in
- 9:52Speaker 1: order to get more. You feel me, Let's go, you're ladies, gentlemen, girls, boys,
- 10:07Speaker 1: thanks time, animals, aliens, everybody. I'll talk to one of them.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You talk to who alien? You don't have no alien friends?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Go ahead, man here, let me see you get out
- 10:26Speaker 1: of this one right here. So what y'all talk about?
- 10:30Speaker 1: What y'all talking about? I'm open, I'm open. It's a
- 10:32Speaker 1: good way to start. She'll go ahead tell me. Okay,
- 10:35Speaker 1: he's from Mars. He's my friend, and he's been talking
- 10:39Speaker 1: about how they having mars quakes. You know we have earthquakes,
- 10:42Speaker 1: they have Mars quakes. So it's not going on this
- 10:44Speaker 1: similarity that what's happening up? Then what's happening down? Yeah?
- 10:47Speaker 1: I mean it's how you don't have no friends? Different, No,
- 10:51Speaker 1: don't worry about that. Where'd you see boy come out
- 10:54Speaker 1: of the house? Sometimes? Boy? Come on, Steve, How does
- 10:59Speaker 1: he get to the house. You don't remember the friend
- 11:02Speaker 1: I used to play with when I was little? Oh,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I remember him. Marvin. We didn't see him either, but
- 11:10Speaker 1: Marvin the March he exists. You make me so angry.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I love Disney Carton. Yes see, Jake, he got friends.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Is anybody inside? Because I am? Are you? Is that
- 11:29Speaker 1: a question? Carlo? Seriously? I'm looking around the room like
- 11:33Speaker 1: he's got Martian friends, and yeah, when they show up,
- 11:37Speaker 1: when they show up, you're gonna need me. See, you're
- 11:40Speaker 1: gonna need me because you ain't had nobody to know
- 11:42Speaker 1: how to talk to him. That's your problem. You need,
- 11:44Speaker 1: you need to get you need somebody like me in
- 11:46Speaker 1: your life. I got the Martian friend. Hell yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 1: They shot nothing but a helmet with some sneakers helmet
- 12:09Speaker 1: and so now that explains it. Okay, sir, I supna
- 12:22Speaker 1: be my friend. I'm done with her, not yourself. You do?
- 12:30Speaker 1: You got these shout at marshes? Do they look stick
- 12:37Speaker 1: just to helmet with it some converse sneaker sticking up
- 12:41Speaker 1: under and set a eye crazy? I know because I
- 12:47Speaker 1: got right now he don't want to laugh. That's how
- 12:53Speaker 1: he looked in his football uniform. Okay, when we was little,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Tommy got it football unif woman, That's how he looked.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Thinking body, But who's taller? You think though, guy? But
- 13:15Speaker 1: he just got quiet you you him all right? Coming
- 13:28Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, something funny. You're
- 13:31Speaker 1: listening string show. Christmas is fast approaching. We all know
- 13:37Speaker 1: that time to get the toys together. However, the elves.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I didn't know this. The elves are on stripe and
- 13:44Speaker 1: you got here with some grievances. Uh, I got guys,
- 13:48Speaker 1: I got this someone hand and listen myself because it's
- 13:52Speaker 1: something that I'm I'm good at doing because I'm a
- 13:54Speaker 1: former union man and elves. Elves have decided came to
- 14:00Speaker 1: me with them a lot of complaints and I'm being
- 14:03Speaker 1: the representative. Now. We wanted Timmy to stand up for him,
- 14:06Speaker 1: but then he was already standing up. They went, we
- 14:15Speaker 1: need somebody that's standing up for it, that look like
- 14:17Speaker 1: they actually standing. So I said I would do it.
- 14:20Speaker 1: The elves of this year are going on strike, well
- 14:25Speaker 1: they haven't gone on yet, but they're threatening to go
- 14:28Speaker 1: on strike. The Elves of wanting to sit out this year.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Santa Claus is having trouble because he's trying to talk
- 14:35Speaker 1: to these damn elves about their concern So I'm here
- 14:40Speaker 1: with their grievances and I want to start by saying,
- 14:44Speaker 1: these are the elves grievouses, and I will be preparing
- 14:48Speaker 1: these statements on behalf of the Ill Foundation. We the
- 14:53Speaker 1: elves who work at the North Pole, are requesting the
- 14:58Speaker 1: following changes. Please show your support through our website www
- 15:04Speaker 1: dot help elves dot com. If you're gonna help the
- 15:09Speaker 1: elves help elves dot com, tell me, don't act like
- 15:13Speaker 1: you don't know. So you know. We all the complaints
- 15:24Speaker 1: that the elves have and here we go. Number one
- 15:28Speaker 1: problem that they have it We the elves would like
- 15:31Speaker 1: to stop making these damn wooden toys. Don't no kid
- 15:37Speaker 1: won't no damn wooden toy. And we've been making them
- 15:42Speaker 1: for years. Okay, ain't nobody asks for now? When he
- 15:46Speaker 1: wouldn't wheels, he wouldn't padlock, they got real toys. Now. Secondly,
- 15:53Speaker 1: we the elms are requesting to have a casual Friday,
- 15:58Speaker 1: so we ain't got to these stupid ass uniform, tight
- 16:04Speaker 1: ass pants, these pointed hats. We want to casual frid
- 16:10Speaker 1: voicing the concerns and elves have and considered on going
- 16:14Speaker 1: on strike, and they wanted me to convey this to
- 16:16Speaker 1: sent a class and everybody listen. We the elves would
- 16:20Speaker 1: like to request a thirty minute smoke break. They we smoke,
- 16:29Speaker 1: and then we want to be able to go outside
- 16:32Speaker 1: and smoke whatever we wants. Try making these cards without it.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Elves don't get high here's the next complaint on behalf
- 16:48Speaker 1: of the Hells Elves. We the Elves have voted to
- 16:52Speaker 1: eliminate bring your kids to work today. The truth of
- 16:58Speaker 1: the matter is elves really don't like kids. No, we
- 17:06Speaker 1: don't damn that because they think we kids too, just
- 17:11Speaker 1: because we shot. Get your damn hands off of me.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I drove here in a slave. Next complaint that they
- 17:26Speaker 1: have we the Elves are uncomfortable wearing knees dagn funny
- 17:33Speaker 1: toe shoes. That heard that he didn't get. We want
- 17:38Speaker 1: Crocs to be the new official Elve shop Crocs and
- 17:45Speaker 1: Gators to be the new elve shoe. Do the elves
- 17:50Speaker 1: I'm doing? Complain? You don't act like you ain't with them.
- 17:55Speaker 1: You trying to add a complaint. I don't act like
- 17:58Speaker 1: you ain't. I want two elves and pilgrims have the
- 18:02Speaker 1: same shit. Do you know I'm not? Well, let's quit
- 18:12Speaker 1: this game. Next complaint, We the elves do not like
- 18:19Speaker 1: elves shirts and pants. There ain't got no damn pockets.
- 18:23Speaker 1: And we want to start using fanny past so when
- 18:31Speaker 1: we go outside to take our smoke break, we'll have
- 18:34Speaker 1: our stuff with it. Next complaint, We the elves understand
- 18:41Speaker 1: that we on the north pole, but some of the
- 18:43Speaker 1: younger Elves wants to cut back on the heat being
- 18:47Speaker 1: so high all the time in the workshop. The older
- 18:52Speaker 1: elves is fine, young old people. We the Elms, would
- 19:05Speaker 1: like to assign ten elves each year to ride around
- 19:09Speaker 1: with Senna, because we think it's unfair that we make
- 19:12Speaker 1: all these damn toys and we don't ever get fat
- 19:17Speaker 1: ass just be packing up the slid with the rain.
- 19:20Speaker 1: D damn it. We made the to a couple more quickly.
- 19:26Speaker 1: We the Els. We still love miss Claus and we
- 19:29Speaker 1: know she's very nice and she's never too busy to
- 19:33Speaker 1: being down and give us a hook. But we still
- 19:35Speaker 1: would like to know exactly what do she do up here?
- 19:42Speaker 1: The cooks, the cooks for everybody. We ain't had nothing
- 19:47Speaker 1: from her. We gotta keeler elf at last, were not least.
- 19:52Speaker 1: We the Els support the me too movement that's real
- 19:56Speaker 1: strong up here. And some of the female als a
- 20:00Speaker 1: requesting that's santam refrain from saying ho ho ho ho.

- 27:55Speaker 1: Anna's coming up next with our national news. You're listening
- 28:01Speaker 1: all right every Monday. Poland's oldest DJ, Virginia Schmidt's I
- 28:08Speaker 1: don't know how to pronounce in it s z m yt.
- 28:11Speaker 1: We're just gonna say. Schmidt packs her CDs. She packs
- 28:18Speaker 1: her CDs, her her mixer, and laptop, and heads off
- 28:22Speaker 1: to Spin for a packed dance floor of mainly senior citizens.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I love this, I love what it wasn't Yes, wicked, wicked.
- 28:32Speaker 1: She entertains about a thousand people at the Hula Coola Club,
- 28:37Speaker 1: smashing stereotypes and empowering seniors as she plays everything from
- 28:42Speaker 1: disco and rock to samba and ballads. She says, I
- 28:47Speaker 1: do not fit the stereotype of an elderly person. I
- 28:50Speaker 1: don't see any reason why my age should determine why
- 28:53Speaker 1: my age should determine my life norms. So I think
- 28:56Speaker 1: that's interesting. So here's a question for the guys. What
- 28:59Speaker 1: part of your job keeps you young? Or what job
- 29:03Speaker 1: would you want to keep you young? I can tell
- 29:05Speaker 1: you definitely what keeps me yo? You fellas what you
- 29:07Speaker 1: start first? Oh, go ahead, go ahead, you all my jobs, man.
- 29:13Speaker 1: I love all my job laughing, all the laughing I
- 29:16Speaker 1: get to do all day long, man telling Joe laughing,
- 29:19Speaker 1: that's what keeps me young? Good answer, good answer. Stupidity,
- 29:24Speaker 1: being able to just be stupid, just just you know,
- 29:27Speaker 1: just letting it go. Oh, yes, you're strong with that.
- 29:30Speaker 1: You're strong with that because you would you would think
- 29:32Speaker 1: you would want to mature. But I don't want that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Don't be silly, Carlo. I want this stupid right here.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I want when you got it? You got all of that, anybody,
- 29:47Speaker 1: that's all you boo? All right, Steve? What keeps you
- 29:55Speaker 1: fine off? In ignorance? That order fine off and ignorance?
- 30:03Speaker 1: When I first met you used to say that, I
- 30:06Speaker 1: love it. I let it out. I don't have high
- 30:08Speaker 1: blood pressure, I don't have stress, dog do all that.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I ain't had no ulcers and all that. Oh we cussing? Okay, cool?
- 30:16Speaker 1: I agree with Junior though, the laughter of it all,
- 30:19Speaker 1: I mean, laughter is it? Yeah? You know? But I mean,
- 30:23Speaker 1: you know, we gotta give different answers, Sherley. We can't
- 30:25Speaker 1: all say laughter. What you're not do is make us
- 30:30Speaker 1: think that Junior is the most brilli you know, three
- 30:32Speaker 1: of us. That's not what you well with that question.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I know he tried. I saw him because he didn't
- 30:37Speaker 1: have that answer. First day he won. He won that round.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Junior won that round, Steve. Okay, we had it that
- 30:44Speaker 1: keeps start. We'll keep y'all. Yeah. Yeah, and he is
- 30:49Speaker 1: the king of that the ladies. Yeah, I mean, like
- 30:53Speaker 1: I said, I agree with you. Laughter, playing music, just
- 30:58Speaker 1: keeping up with what's going on. If you're young, Yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 1: being able to being able to wear whatever you want
- 31:04Speaker 1: to wear to work and stuff. It's cool. You know,
- 31:07Speaker 1: you could dress anywhere you want to dress. Fly. You
- 31:09Speaker 1: know you don't have to do what Tommy, you've heard.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Let's say a quarter by six sext I'm keep you okay,
- 31:19Speaker 1: we got a job. Yeah, we'll do it at the job.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I'm just saying, right, Steve, let's get to the news,
- 31:27Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss ann Trip, thank you very much, everybody.
- 31:31Speaker 1: This is entrop of the news in Korey into the
- 31:33Speaker 1: possible impeachment a President Trump unfolded over week's ending in
- 31:36Speaker 1: a long final day of debate yesterday. In the end,
- 31:39Speaker 1: last night, the Democrat control House of Representatives took an
- 31:41Speaker 1: historic nighttime vote, making Donald Trump the only only the
- 31:45Speaker 1: third president in US history to be impeached by the House.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Republicans like Florida's Royal Spannel says the moves toward impeachment
- 31:51Speaker 1: was always a disingenuous and purely partisan moves. The American
- 31:55Speaker 1: people see through this sad charade for what it is,
- 31:58Speaker 1: an attempt to undo the two in sixteen election based
- 32:01Speaker 1: on hearsay, an opinion, not fact. However, how Speaker Nancy Pelosi,
- 32:05Speaker 1: who put off weeks for calling for an impeachment in
- 32:08Speaker 1: the first place, said the president eventually gave her colleagues
- 32:10Speaker 1: no other choice. His tragic that the president's reckless actions
- 32:14Speaker 1: make impeachment necessary. The president violated the Constitution. The President
- 32:20Speaker 1: used the power of his public office to obtain an
- 32:23Speaker 1: improper personal political benefit at the expense of America's national security. Sadly,
- 32:30Speaker 1: the American people have witnessed further wrongs of the president
- 32:33Speaker 1: which necessitate the second article of impeachment obstruction of Congress.
- 32:39Speaker 1: When the president's wrongdoing was revealed, he launched an unprecedented,
- 32:44Speaker 1: indiscriminate and categorical campaign of defiance and obstruction. Never before
- 32:51Speaker 1: in the history of our nation have we seen a
- 32:53Speaker 1: president declare an actis he is above the law. The
- 32:57Speaker 1: president goes even so far as to say Article too
- 33:01Speaker 1: says I can do whatever I want. No, it doesn't,
- 33:05Speaker 1: by the way, Speaker Pelosi wore black, along with many
- 33:08Speaker 1: other Democratic congresswomen to signify the seriousness and sadness of
- 33:11Speaker 1: the occasion. Trump meanwhile registers anger and a tweet, of
- 33:14Speaker 1: course all capital letters and exclamation points, saying, such atrocious
- 33:18Speaker 1: lies by the radical left do nothing Democrats, this is
- 33:20Speaker 1: an assault on America and an assault on the Republican
- 33:23Speaker 1: Party unquote. Now comes the impeachment trial next month and
- 33:26Speaker 1: the GOP dominated Senate, where a vote of two thirds
- 33:29Speaker 1: majority would be necessary for conviction. That's not expected to happen.
- 33:32Speaker 1: In fact, Republican senators are expected to acquit the president
- 33:35Speaker 1: on both charges. He'll be left in office and then
- 33:37Speaker 1: become the first impeach president to run for reelection. By
- 33:41Speaker 1: the way, most of while everybody's wise eyes were looking
- 33:43Speaker 1: on impeachment speeches in Washington, Senate leader Mitch McConnell pushed
- 33:47Speaker 1: through the nominations of thirteen new right wing judges through
- 33:51Speaker 1: the Senate. Social media has been lettered recently with the
- 33:54Speaker 1: racist comments from Hispanics about the new Miss Universe Tunzis
- 33:57Speaker 1: those Abenzi of South Africa. According to The Orlando Know,
- 34:00Speaker 1: most of the negativity coming from Puerto Ricans, upset that
- 34:02Speaker 1: their beauty Queen came in second comments accusing I included,
- 34:06Speaker 1: I can't believe the black woman one. So many women
- 34:08Speaker 1: with beautiful hair and the bad hair one. One supervisor
- 34:11Speaker 1: called her Shaka Zulu's cousin. She's not The host of
- 34:14Speaker 1: Telemundo show Al Rojo Vivos, Maurice Celesta and Miss Universe
- 34:18Speaker 1: is meant to measure beauty, not intelligence or IQ, suggesting
- 34:21Speaker 1: I guess that tuse he's not beautiful. Telemundo opened by
- 34:25Speaker 1: owned by the parent company of NBC. Another host there,
- 34:28Speaker 1: Rodna Figaroa, was taken off the network doing President Obama's
- 34:30Speaker 1: the second term, suggesting first Lady Mission Melt's Michelle Obama
- 34:34Speaker 1: looked like a monkey. Now back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 34:37Speaker 1: You're listening show, All right, junior, it is time for
- 34:42Speaker 1: truth be told. Yeah, um, you know what, we've all
- 34:46Speaker 1: been there. We've all been at this one place where
- 34:48Speaker 1: we got the one friend that's in the relationship but

- 34:58Speaker 1: much they don't want the purse. Yeah, this person here,
- 35:01Speaker 1: this is the person they don't want to be with
- 35:02Speaker 1: no mo oh okay, Yeah, they don't want to be
- 35:05Speaker 1: the person every song come on, remind them of the

- 35:11Speaker 1: I don't even want to be your friend. Be no more.

- 35:40Speaker 1: for the sake of both of us. Now you got
- 35:43Speaker 1: me calling her asking what happened why y'all ain't together

- 42:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm so glad. I don't make holiday rounds. No, man,
- 42:19Speaker 1: I'm so glad. Yeah, yeah, I can't stand that. Yeah,

- 42:39Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, nephew, what you got time for
- 42:45Speaker 1: the prank phone call, Shirlette. It's time to baptize some people.
- 42:50Speaker 1: It's called mobile Baptismal Pool mobile Baptisma. We come to
- 42:56Speaker 1: you and you can be ignorant in your house and baptize.
- 43:04Speaker 1: That's what we do. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 43:08Speaker 1: a mister Wilson. It's just how you doing. My name
- 43:13Speaker 1: is brother spring Water Man. Listen, we uh we we
- 43:16Speaker 1: we got paid to actually come by and do some
- 43:18Speaker 1: services to uh for for you by some friends of yours,
- 43:23Speaker 1: and we wanted to actually call and see about scheduling
- 43:25Speaker 1: and see what you had available, uh some some services. Well,
- 43:30Speaker 1: y'all playing on Clesson grad which I do. What kind
- 43:34Speaker 1: of services you have? Actually, sir, you've got some friends
- 43:37Speaker 1: that have actually spent a great amount of money on you.
- 43:40Speaker 1: And what we do is UM we have a Baptismal
- 43:44Speaker 1: on wheels, Servey. And what we do is we go
- 43:47Speaker 1: and we um we baptize people at their home and
- 43:51Speaker 1: and Baptismal on wheels has been it's a new UM company,
- 43:55Speaker 1: but we've we've baptized over a thousand people. Now we
- 43:58Speaker 1: have a truck with which actually has a baptismal pool
- 44:01Speaker 1: on the back of it, and we actually come to
- 44:03Speaker 1: your home and we will baptize you in your driveway
- 44:08Speaker 1: and and make you hold again. So we hostess here
- 44:12Speaker 1: brother Water. Brother again, I'm sorry, I ain't Frewater Freenwater.
- 44:17Speaker 1: What you want to come to my house and give
- 44:18Speaker 1: me a baptism in my front yard. We want to
- 44:21Speaker 1: baptize you right there in your drive where your friends
- 44:23Speaker 1: are paid for the services. And my friend, what a
- 44:26Speaker 1: friend will pay for me to get baptized. Man, I've
- 44:28Speaker 1: been baptized, are already doc well from my understanding, sir
- 44:31Speaker 1: that but then that you you had some some bumps
- 44:34Speaker 1: and bruises and and and they seem to believe that
- 44:37Speaker 1: you need to be Washington coming. I mean, that's all good,
- 44:40Speaker 1: that's all. That's all. It's all good. But I mean
- 44:42Speaker 1: things are I mean think that matter that it made? Man,
- 44:45Speaker 1: I mean I've been baptized, I go to church. You know, uh,
- 44:49Speaker 1: me and the Lord don't have no problems. I mean
- 44:51Speaker 1: we all have setbacks. But for you to pull up
- 44:53Speaker 1: with your pool in front of my house, to say
- 44:56Speaker 1: you've been a baptize me that that doesn't make any
- 44:58Speaker 1: sense to me. Doc. I mean sometimes when some people
- 45:01Speaker 1: are not able to go to the House of the
- 45:03Speaker 1: Lord and get baptized. You know, we're making a lot
- 45:06Speaker 1: more convenient for you, but we can actually need no convenience.
- 45:10Speaker 1: I don't need no convenience. What I need convenience for
- 45:14Speaker 1: you asking me to come to my house on a
- 45:17Speaker 1: Tuesday to bastie me in my driveway? Does that make
- 45:22Speaker 1: any sense to you? Brother Water? I mean, come on,
- 45:25Speaker 1: if you really sit that can think about it, does
- 45:26Speaker 1: that make any sense to you? First of all? So
- 45:31Speaker 1: that's that's that's brother spring water. But what I'm trying
- 45:34Speaker 1: to what I'm trying to see the water is holy water,
- 45:37Speaker 1: spring water. It doesn't make no difference to me. You
- 45:40Speaker 1: can't come to my neighborhood and baptize me in front
- 45:44Speaker 1: of mine house, Sir, What is all that? This is?
- 45:47Speaker 1: This is what your friends are talking about that don't
- 45:49Speaker 1: give it to them. What my prayers are telling you,
- 45:51Speaker 1: man and anybody which which one of my prayers, don't
- 45:54Speaker 1: recommand you to come to my damn house. So I'm
- 45:56Speaker 1: I'm I and I don't dude, let me that you
- 46:01Speaker 1: don't even make any sense to me. You understand I'm
- 46:03Speaker 1: not I'm not at any liberty to tell you who
- 46:05Speaker 1: actually is? Uh? I beturing the liberty because of my
- 46:08Speaker 1: damn house that baptize me. But you can't tell me
- 46:11Speaker 1: who the hell I gonna see you? But you're not there?
- 46:13Speaker 1: What may come? All? You don't even call that makes
- 46:16Speaker 1: sense for you do? Come on? That doesn't make any
- 46:18Speaker 1: no where in the world. I'm gonna allow you to
- 46:20Speaker 1: come and bring your phone in front of my house
- 46:23Speaker 1: that baptize me. Then I'm asking you ask as you
- 46:25Speaker 1: you suposed to be a pastor, you supposed to get
- 46:27Speaker 1: back tied. I'm asking you, okay, what's the friend of mine?
- 46:30Speaker 1: Is tending in you to? You know, letting you know
- 46:32Speaker 1: I need to be done? How you'll tell you? How
- 46:34Speaker 1: that liberty to all? I want to know? Basically, I've
- 46:37Speaker 1: already been paid. I'm coming take it to a cha.
- 46:42Speaker 1: I'm not tizing me im back time. I'm going to
- 46:45Speaker 1: baptize you on Tuesday in your driveway. Man, I tell
- 46:48Speaker 1: you was did you come to my house and front
- 46:51Speaker 1: of my driveway? You better bring the old congregation. You
- 46:54Speaker 1: understand you better bring the deacons, the brothers, the sisters
- 46:57Speaker 1: and everybody else. If you think how Manny got ties
- 46:59Speaker 1: of this is a problem. This is what your friends
- 47:02Speaker 1: are talking about. This is why you need to be
- 47:03Speaker 1: baptized and cleansed again and washed in the blood of
- 47:06Speaker 1: the lamp. This is what's wrong. You need to be
- 47:09Speaker 1: cleans That's what's wrong with you, mister Wilton. What's wrong

- 52:27Speaker 1: read this one right here today. Okay, buckle up and
- 52:30Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here it
- 52:32Speaker 1: is the strawberry letters subject the minister wants more than
- 52:36Speaker 1: my todds. All right, Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a
- 52:40Speaker 1: twenty nine year old single female and my dad is
- 52:43Speaker 1: a well known pastor. I moved back home after college
- 52:46Speaker 1: and I've been a big part of the church family
- 52:49Speaker 1: since then. I help out with the youth ministry and
- 52:52Speaker 1: I get along well with the youth minister. He is
- 52:55Speaker 1: five years older than me and he's married. The youth
- 52:58Speaker 1: minister and I always had great faith based talks and
- 53:02Speaker 1: I looked up to him as a spiritual mentor until recently.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Two weeks ago, after service, he was walking me to
- 53:09Speaker 1: my car and he said we need to talk about
- 53:12Speaker 1: sex and salvation, and I was like, say what. I
- 53:17Speaker 1: reminded him that I was abstinate and did not want
- 53:21Speaker 1: to talk about sex at all. He said he needed
- 53:24Speaker 1: to confide in me because he is a natural born
- 53:27Speaker 1: freak and he's ready to leave his wife because she
- 53:31Speaker 1: can no longer satisfy his sexual needs. Then he said
- 53:35Speaker 1: there is nothing wrong with having sex before marriage, that
- 53:39Speaker 1: God created sex for men and women to use, not abuse.
- 53:43Speaker 1: He told me that every man in the church talks
- 53:46Speaker 1: about how I am a brick house, and it's a
- 53:48Speaker 1: shame that I won't let anyone show me how to
- 53:51Speaker 1: use this gift to my advantage. He said, being sexually
- 53:55Speaker 1: active is a natural thing if experienced with the right person.
- 54:00Speaker 1: He said that he could show me all of this
- 54:03Speaker 1: mess that he said goes against everything that I've been taught.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I know I may sound slow, but could he be right?
- 54:12Speaker 1: And I'm saving myself for nothing. I am somewhat attracted
- 54:16Speaker 1: to him, and the thought of him teaching me about
- 54:18Speaker 1: my body and sex is enticing. But he's married. What
- 54:22Speaker 1: do you think is it worth the weight? Or should
- 54:25Speaker 1: I go ahead and get a little experience from someone
- 54:28Speaker 1: that's willing to help me? Wow? Wow, this guy is
- 54:32Speaker 1: a minister. Huh, Well, he should know better. He really
- 54:38Speaker 1: should know better. And he's a youth minister on top
- 54:40Speaker 1: of that, so he's leading our youth. What he's doing
- 54:43Speaker 1: is tempting you, and I got to ask you, please,
- 54:46Speaker 1: don't take the bait. Don't listen to him talking about
- 54:49Speaker 1: how he's a natural born freek who's ready to leave
- 54:52Speaker 1: his wife because she can't satisfy him sexually. What does
- 54:55Speaker 1: that have to do with youth ministry? And he's married
- 55:00Speaker 1: top of that. You know, this is why they say,
- 55:03Speaker 1: and this is why you have to please know God
- 55:05Speaker 1: for yourself, and don't let anyone tell you their version
- 55:08Speaker 1: or their interpretation of the truth. You can read the
- 55:12Speaker 1: Bible just like he can, and he can tell you
- 55:15Speaker 1: these things, but you have to read in there what
- 55:17Speaker 1: it says. If you're a Christian and you want to
- 55:19Speaker 1: do what it says, you're in the church, so hopefully
- 55:23Speaker 1: you know you would want to lead by example. I mean,
- 55:25Speaker 1: you know, yeah, sex is natural and all of that stuff,
- 55:27Speaker 1: but we also have a thing called self control. Now
- 55:30Speaker 1: I'm speaking to you because you're in the church and
- 55:33Speaker 1: you're around the youth and all the stuff, you know,
- 55:35Speaker 1: and he should be leading the youth, not trying to
- 55:38Speaker 1: mislead the youth with what he's talking about. He's trying
- 55:41Speaker 1: to have sex with you and he's married. Okay, all
- 55:44Speaker 1: of that's wrong. No, you should not let him give
- 55:47Speaker 1: you this experience and all of that he is wrong.
- 55:50Speaker 1: He's got a wife at home. If I were you,
- 55:52Speaker 1: I would tell my dad what he's doing and let
- 55:55Speaker 1: him know that this youth minister is trying to lead
- 55:58Speaker 1: you down the wrong path. As well, Steve, I'm not
- 56:02Speaker 1: going along with this total naive conversation. Twenty nine female Fine,
- 56:07Speaker 1: come home working into daddy's church, now youth ministers five
- 56:12Speaker 1: years old. And you y'all always had great faith based talks.
- 56:17Speaker 1: You know, you always looked up to him as a
- 56:19Speaker 1: spiritual mentor. And then he was walking in to your
- 56:23Speaker 1: con Then he said the one thing that I don't
- 56:25Speaker 1: know how he put in the same sentence, but he said,
- 56:27Speaker 1: let's talk about sex and salvation. Let me immediately make
- 56:32Speaker 1: a statement that it is filled with corruption, sex and salvation,
- 56:39Speaker 1: lost and found. That's the same time glory. It's what
- 56:46Speaker 1: we're talking about with sex and salvation. All right. You
- 56:52Speaker 1: know that's like saying the boogeyman ain't Really that's scary.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I would venture to say, come on now that this
- 57:01Speaker 1: young man wants to bid you, wants to a laid
- 57:10Speaker 1: down in any kind of passion, not where the lower
- 57:17Speaker 1: lead him, but where he wants to go. Yeah, because
- 57:21Speaker 1: how in the hell is we walk into the car
- 57:26Speaker 1: and all of a sudden the subject of sex and
- 57:30Speaker 1: salvation pop up. It didn't come out of nowhere. She
- 57:38Speaker 1: had been devising this, planning it, nurturing the moment land
- 57:48Speaker 1: in wait and Bush walked you to the car. Walk
- 57:56Speaker 1: on down. He said he needed to confide in you
- 57:59Speaker 1: because he is quote unquote a natural bone freak. Yes,
- 58:08Speaker 1: that's from the NBL Foundation. What's that? What's that mean?
- 58:12Speaker 1: Right now? There is the natural born freaks of a male.
- 58:16Speaker 1: I mean he's ready to leave his wife because she
- 58:22Speaker 1: can no longer satisfy his sexual need. Anybody ever wanted,
- 58:28Speaker 1: she might not be satisfied. You know. Sometimes we want
- 58:36Speaker 1: to say that they can't satisfy us no more, but
- 58:39Speaker 1: it's actually us that can't satisfy them. No, we come back.
- 58:43Speaker 1: We're gonna get into this thing way deeper. Then you
- 58:48Speaker 1: gonna wound us to get in there. Man man again.
- 58:57Speaker 1: All right, out bonds right after this at eight twenty three.
- 59:02Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, does Steve let's recap
- 59:08Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letters subject the minister wants more than my time?
- 59:13Speaker 1: Yes he does, he won't huh. He walked up to
- 59:18Speaker 1: her car and in the same sentence said he wanted
- 59:23Speaker 1: to discuss six in Salvation. Yes, let's talk about it.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I want to talk about freedom and slavery. You know,
- 59:37Speaker 1: since we're talking about stuff that don't go together. You
- 59:40Speaker 1: want to talk about six and salvation? Right? Will Ain't
- 59:45Speaker 1: that about nothing? Let's you and I get into this.
- 59:54Speaker 1: He told me that he needed my attention because his
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: wife could no longer satisfy him sexuality. What was that?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Sexual wilder? That wild sexual wilder because he is a
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: natural bone freak, a member of the NBA, and he's
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: ready to leave his wife because she can no longer
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: satisfy sex for me. Then he went on to say,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: listen to this lie. There's nothing wrong with having sex
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: before marriage. Now you know that ain't technically right. You
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: know that, mister minister, And for you to miss guide
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: this woman is really You're going to heal faster than
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: you need to, no doubt right now. And said that oh,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with having sexual marriage. That God created
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: sex for men and women to use, not abused. He
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: also said, when you marry to cleave only unto her
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and to leave all others. But you hadn't still he
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: help in your face leave it. He told me that
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: every man in the church talks about how I am
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: a brick house and it's a shame that I won't
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: let anyone show me how to use this gift to
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: my advance. Well right now. He said that being sexually
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: active as a natural thing, it just come out natural.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Sometimes you just sitting there and all of a sudden
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: something natural healthy. You're just sitting there just feeling all natural.

- 1:02:27Speaker 1: gets what he's been taught. I know I may sound slow,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: but could he be right? And am I saving myself
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: for nothing? I am somewhat attracted to him and thought
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: of him teaching me about my body and sexis entyson,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: But he's married. What do you think is it worth
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: the weight? Or should I go ahead and get a
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: little experience from someone that's willing to help? Girl? First
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: of all, letting me help you understand you don't need
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: no help. Uh, I'll say that again, you don't need
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: no help. Just continue being the fine young woman that
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: you are and know that real help is on the way.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: See God gonna send you what you need. He's not
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: gonna let you live without it. So hold on, stay
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: away from this married man. That's a dangerous trap. He's
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: not leaving his wife. He's lying about that. He may
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: be a natural bone freak, but you don't need to
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: find out how freaky he is. He would put you
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: in a no win situation, young lady. There's nothing to
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: gain from it from you at all. It's all a
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: win win from him. Tell him to kiss your behind,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Tell him to take your behind, put it in the box,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: kiss it and don't miss a crone. Tell him that
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: hell is awaiting him. Tell your daddy, the pastor, that's
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: what I said. Tell your daddy. That's really all I
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: have to say about this. Oh thank you, pastor. Do

- 1:05:56Speaker 1: know you have one st You take this job and
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: of its story. Well, I worked at a place called
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Lincoln Electric and I hated it. I hated with everything
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: in me. I worked a graveyard ship, and man, I
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: despised the job because at four o'clock, I don't care
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: who you are, you sleep. There is no getting used
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: to four am. You're supposed to be sleep. And lunch
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: was twenty minutes. It was like working. It was. It
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: was the hardest job I've ever had. Lunch was twenty
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: minutes and you and we had to work on a
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: piece system where we had to develop all these wire
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: coils by pieces. And I hated that job. And I
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: had this little dude named Tony was my supervisor, cooler dude,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: but I just I didn't like the company. And so
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: I went to work one day and I just told him,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: I said, hey, man, I'm not gonna be able to
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: continue anymore. I got a huge loan came in from

- 1:07:01Speaker 1: got the money, the loan came through, offered me the
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: body equipment, so I'm gonna go full time. Oh man,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: good luck to you. So I ended up getting his
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: job as a carbon clean coper. Well, one of the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: guys used my company, which partly was true. I didn't
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: really get the money from a small business loan. I
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: just wanted to quit, okay, And so one dude called
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: me and asked me to clean his house because he
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: knew my house number, and I went by his house.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: But I had went to pick and pay with your
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: grocery store, and I rented machines every day, and just
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: put it in the back seat of my car. And
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I pulled up at his house and unloaded the carbon
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: cleaning machine from the back seat my car. He's, man,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: I thought you was a professional car but cleaner. You
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: didn't renting the machine from that man, I'm gonna tell
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: everybody down at the job, Okay. So I said, okay, cool,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: ain't no problem right here. That sound So I just
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: went on to ruin his corpet ruined, now ruined, carn't
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: extract the water, just put it in there. Since you're
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: gonna go tell go tell him that too. He felt
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: good about this, didn't very comfortable. And from that story
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: we go to the one and the only. Wasn't a
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: funny story. It wasn't really a you know, I don't

- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I feel lost. You know, I'm pretty sure all of
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: you had those moments here on the morning show. I mean,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you know, there's just times when you just are confused
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: and you just don't really know what to do. So
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I was gonna replay another one, but I'm in it now,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: so you know here it is because you know it is.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: It is paramount that you understand that you're not the
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: only one that's going through something. That the people that
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you think have it also together. You gotta understand something.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: They're going through something. The person that you think has
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: gotten it all right, they're going through something. It was
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: funny today, man, I was somewhere. I can't tell you where,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: but I was somewhere. Was a lot of a lot
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: of people there who are supposedly well off, you know,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: and I met a guy that I had never met before,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: but I do business with him, but I've never met him.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: And so I was coming out of the place and
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: a guy was talking to on the way. I said, Steve,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: I'd like you to meet SO and Soul. And I said, hey, man,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Steve Harvey. The guy said,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: the real Steve Harvey. I said yeah. He said, I'm
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: So and Soul. I own SO and Soul. And I said,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: what are you kidding me? And I hugged a guy
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: because I've been doing business with him for almost six
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: years and I had no idea who he was. I
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: never met him. I just do some business with him.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: And I was sitting there and he got to talking
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: to me, and I was saying, because the business, I
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: get something from this guy, a service that he provides,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: and he made a tremendous amount of money. And I
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: was just telling him, man, man, I said, man, you're
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: doing really good. And he just opened up out of nowhere.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: He said, I'm going through a divorce. And I went, wow, man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: hanging there, man, I've been there a couple of times.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: He said, Noah, Man, I'm really going through it. Man.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: He said, I love my children. I said, he said,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: but just we got to the point where we can't
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: make it. And this is a guy who, keep in mind,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: on the outward appearance, hasn't all working. I mean, when
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: I met him, I was going like, whoa, this is
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the guy. Man, this is the dude that does the
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: thing that people love. And man, this is the guy
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: he got it together. And he said, Man, I'm going
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: through a divorce. I said, man, hanging down, I've been there,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: He said, Man, have you really? I said, yeah, Man,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: he said that's right. I've kind of heard your story
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: off and on. This is your third marriage. I said yeah,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: And we sat down. We started talking, and I gave
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: him some advice. I just said, hey, man, at one
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: point in time, you know what it is. It's money,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: I said, at one point in time, Man, you can't
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: fight so hard. He said, Man, but I was married
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: for twenty six years. I thought, I knew this woman,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: and I don't. I said, look, man, whatever the case is,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: at the end of the day, you gotta get to
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: a place of happiness. He said, how do I do that?
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: I said, why don't you just let go? I said,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: what's causing you the most griefous? You're trying to hang
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: on to something so deeply without realizing that you made
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: money before you make some more. He said, you kidding me?
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: I said yeah. I said, I just gave up. Man.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: He said, Wow, that's what I should do. He said
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: to the biggest stress is killing me is how do
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I keep what I got? I said, You're not gonna
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: be able to do that. Man. It's because that's what
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: the divorce is. And I'm saying all that to say
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: this that no matter who you are, no matter who
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you think a person is, they going through something. Everybody's
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: going through something, but the key for all of us
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that's going through something, that is one thing that's available
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: to us all. And I don't want to sound corny
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: or nothing, but prayer man, Prayer, prayer man. Man. I
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: can't even tell you how many times it has been
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: my only source of hope, my only source of comfort,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: my only source of inspiration, my only source of an answer.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: I've been in some stuff so wrong, so turned up,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: so flipped up. Man. I had no clue what to do.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: But prayer man, that simple thing of going somewhere in
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: your mind. You ain't got to if you can get
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: in the room by yourself, cool, but you ain't got
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: to make an appointment, You ain't got to clear with nobody.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: You can just say, hey, God, it's me, and I
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: know you ain't used to hear from me, and I
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: gotta do better. But hey, I'm i'm a, I'm a
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I'm in a hole right now and I don't know
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: what to do. And I've heard that you hear and
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: answer prayer. I'm asking you right now to hear me.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: And if you don't, do nothing but just give me
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: the stript to endure it all? Could you do that
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: for me? Could you just calm my spirit down and
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: send me a sign that it's gonna be all right.
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: I don't can hide in, but just let me know
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that it's gonna be right. I've done it like that.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Prayer is effective. Prayer changes things. Prayer, don't forget to pray.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Don't be ashamed of pray, and don't ever be too
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: proud to pray because prayer, prayer changes things, and prayer
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: change people too. Drop a cloth. That's it. What do knows?
