Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / GOP Moves to Ban LGBTQ+ Flag from Public School Rooms
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: There is a law that is being passed in some
- 0:04Speaker 1: states around the country.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It is being discussed in many states, and it's.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Something that the mainstream media in the left don't want
- 0:10Speaker 1: you to know is an issue because they do not
- 0:12Speaker 1: want you to show up and they do not want
- 0:14Speaker 1: you to put pressure on your elected officials to do this.
- 0:18Speaker 1: My home state of Tennessee, and the House there in
- 0:22Speaker 1: Tennessee has passed a bill that bans LGBTQ flags in
- 0:29Speaker 1: public school classrooms. The vote was seventy to twenty four
- 0:34Speaker 1: and could be voted on by the Senate as early
- 0:36Speaker 1: as later this week. Now, the argument is it has
- 0:40Speaker 1: no place in the classroom. Right, we've removed religion from
- 0:43Speaker 1: the classroom, why would we not remove the LGBTQIA.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Plus plus plus flag, which.
- 0:49Speaker 1: For many is in fact a religion. This is not
- 0:53Speaker 1: what schools should be about. I don't think there should
- 0:56Speaker 1: be any political flags in our schools. In fact, the
- 0:58Speaker 1: only flag I think should be in and there should
- 1:00Speaker 1: be the state flag of the state where the school
- 1:04Speaker 1: is and the flag of the United States of America.
- 1:07Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:08Speaker 1: There shouldn't be gay flags or advocacy flags of anything
- 1:13Speaker 1: else flying in our public schools. The schools need to
- 1:16Speaker 1: go back to stop indoctrinating our kids. And what they
- 1:19Speaker 1: need to do is they need to go back to
- 1:21Speaker 1: teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic. I'm going to give you
- 1:24Speaker 1: that in a second, but i want to tell you
- 1:25Speaker 1: real quick about our good friends over at Patriot Mobile.
- 1:28Speaker 1: If you have a cell phone, I want you to
- 1:30Speaker 1: take a listen. I switch to Patriot Mobile and it's
- 1:33Speaker 1: been amazing. Switching was easy. But what happens when I
- 1:37Speaker 1: use my phone and what happens when I pay my
- 1:39Speaker 1: bill is truly incredible because they take five percent of
- 1:42Speaker 1: my bill every month and they give it back to
- 1:45Speaker 1: conservative causes and organizations that I help them choose to support.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I'm talking about every time I send a message, every
- 1:53Speaker 1: time I make a phone call, I am supporting free speech.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I'm supporting religious freedom, the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment,
- 2:01Speaker 1: as well as our military, our veterans, our first responders,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and our wounded warriors.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Now why would that matter?
- 2:08Speaker 1: Well, Big Mobile that you're with right now has been
- 2:11Speaker 1: big proponents of woke ideology, woke agendas, including countless dollars
- 2:19Speaker 1: going to Democrats running for local office, state office, even
- 2:23Speaker 1: the presidency.
- 2:24Speaker 2: They also have.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Given big donations to Planned Parenthood. If you're like me
- 2:29Speaker 1: and you're tired of giving your mind to people that
- 2:30Speaker 1: are fighting against your traditional family values, switch to Patriot
- 2:34Speaker 1: Mobile and I'm going to give you free activation right
- 2:36Speaker 1: now nine seven to two Patriots the number that's nine
- 2:40Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ben
- 2:44Speaker 1: that's Patriot Mobile dot com slash venue Ben. Use the
- 2:47Speaker 1: promo code Ben and you'll get free activation nine seven
- 2:51Speaker 1: to two Patriot.
- 2:52Speaker 2: That's nine seven to two Patriot. While this is also.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Happening, and the reason why I wanted to put this
- 2:57Speaker 1: on your radar screen, is there something else that's happening
- 3:00Speaker 1: When it comes to the same exact issue this time
- 3:03Speaker 1: in Utah, the Utah House has now killed a bill
- 3:06Speaker 1: banning the LGBTQ plus pride flags and political views from
- 3:11Speaker 1: the classroom. This coming out of Salt Lake City, Utah,
- 3:15Speaker 1: teachers will be free to display LGBTQ plus pride flags
- 3:20Speaker 1: and other social, political, or religious imagery after the House.
- 3:25Speaker 2: The State House blocked a.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Bill on Monday that would aband teachers from using their
- 3:29Speaker 1: position to promote or disparage certain beliefs. Now let's just
- 3:33Speaker 1: talk about that idea real quick, and why the teachers
- 3:37Speaker 1: unions are so hell bent and the left is so
- 3:39Speaker 1: hell bent on making sure that you and I cannot
- 3:43Speaker 1: stop them from basically indoctoring our kids on a multitude
- 3:47Speaker 1: of issues in Utah.
- 3:50Speaker 2: These teachers unions fought tooth and nail.
- 3:53Speaker 1: In the left fought tooth and nail to allow the
- 3:55Speaker 1: teachers to put this stuff up.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And there was only one reason.
- 3:59Speaker 1: These teachers want and desperately need to use their position
- 4:04Speaker 1: of power and their monopoly on your kid's mind and
- 4:08Speaker 1: a monopoly on your kids classroom to promote certain beliefs.
- 4:13Speaker 1: They also want to use their position and have been
- 4:15Speaker 1: for years to alter and change this country, and their
- 4:19Speaker 1: monopoly on your kid's mind and a monopoly on that
- 4:22Speaker 1: classroom to promote positions that they believe in. Now, the
- 4:28Speaker 1: Republican led Chamber defeated the proposal in a thirty nine
- 4:31Speaker 1: to thirty two vote as they race to address hundreds
- 4:34Speaker 1: of outstanding bills during the final week of the twenty
- 4:37Speaker 1: twenty four legislative session in Utah. Both Democrats and Republicans
- 4:41Speaker 1: criticized the bill's vague language and warned that it could
- 4:44Speaker 1: stemy important lessons.
- 4:45Speaker 2: In critical thinking. Quote unquote.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Educators would have been prohibited under the bill from encouraging
- 4:53Speaker 1: a student to reconsider their sexual orientation or gender, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: they could have faced punishment for affirming or refusing to
- 5:01Speaker 1: affirm a student's identity. Challenging a student's political viewpoints or
- 5:06Speaker 1: religious views, even within the context of an educational exercise,
- 5:12Speaker 1: also could have left a teacher vulnerable to a lawsuit.
- 5:15Speaker 1: There's the reason why they then said, all right, we're
- 5:17Speaker 1: going to basically table this slash defeat it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Now.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You go back to what happened in Tennessee. Tennessee kept
- 5:24Speaker 1: it very simple. What Tennessee said instated was you can't
- 5:28Speaker 1: put these flags up there. You can't put flags up
- 5:32Speaker 1: there pushing for certain things. That's not our job, right.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Our job is not to basically use the classroom as
- 5:40Speaker 1: a bully pulpit for the teacher's ideology and or the
- 5:45Speaker 1: teacher's viewpoint.
- 5:46Speaker 2: That is not our job. Now.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Some teachers back in Utah, they pleaded with lawmakers earlier
- 5:53Speaker 1: this month to reject the bill, which they say would
- 5:56Speaker 1: have made them afraid to speak openly in the classroom.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Couldn't disagree more with that, by the way, that's their
- 6:02Speaker 1: fear mongering. The bill's primary sponsor, however, encourage educators of
- 6:07Speaker 1: view it as a tool to improve trust in the
- 6:09Speaker 1: state's education system by the parents and the taxpayers knowing
- 6:15Speaker 1: that you're not sitting there all day long and doctrinating
- 6:17Speaker 1: a kid in your ideology. Teachers they that said then
- 6:22Speaker 1: claim they would have had to been quote more careful.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Are the same teachers that have the gay pride flags
- 6:27Speaker 1: up in their classroom, which is something that should not
- 6:30Speaker 1: be up in the classroom in my viewpoint.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Now you go to Washington, d C.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And the Hill newspaper is warning elected officials about this.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Right now, the Tennessee House has passed a stringent restrictions
- 6:45Speaker 1: bill on pride flags in school That is what the
- 6:49Speaker 1: headline reads, and they're warning the nation now, this could
- 6:52Speaker 1: be something that could happen nationwide. I'm encouraging you to
- 6:56Speaker 1: do this nationwide. Tennessee is a Republican controlled house. The
- 6:59Speaker 1: Hill Rights voted Monday to approve legislation that would largely
- 7:03Speaker 1: prevent pride flags from being displayed in public school classrooms.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Seeing the measure of the Senate, where it is expected
- 7:09Speaker 1: to pass the measure.
- 7:10Speaker 2: House Bills sixteen oh five.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Would prohibit local education agencies from displaying flags other than
- 7:17Speaker 1: the United States flag in the Tennessee state flag in
- 7:19Speaker 1: public schools, which is exactly what I said a moment ago.
- 7:22Speaker 1: This is all that we should be advocating for period.
- 7:26Speaker 1: It would allow schools to display the pow Mia flag
- 7:31Speaker 1: missing an action, a flag that represents a city or
- 7:35Speaker 1: metropolitan government, or an official school flag, among other exceptions.
- 7:41Speaker 1: While the bill does not mention LGBTQ Pride flag's outright GOP,
- 7:46Speaker 1: state lawmakers have said it is meant to restrict them.
- 7:50Speaker 1: Republican state Representative Geno Bulso, the bill's primary sponsor in
- 7:54Speaker 1: the House, on Monday, city draft of the bill after
- 7:56Speaker 1: several parents and one school board member in his district
- 7:59Speaker 1: complained that serve and teachers and counselors were displaying large
- 8:03Speaker 1: Pride flags in their classroom despite objections from the parents.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Because remember these socialists and Marxists, okay, that are educating
- 8:11Speaker 1: your kids. They don't believe that you have rights over
- 8:14Speaker 1: your kids. They believe the state owned your kids. That's
- 8:17Speaker 1: what communism and socialism believes.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 8:20Speaker 1: There's no parent to right that really is it should
- 8:24Speaker 1: matter the parents don't have rights over their kids. We've
- 8:27Speaker 1: seen this happen in schools all over the country. Let
- 8:30Speaker 1: me also remind you the same federal government is under
- 8:34Speaker 1: the Biden administration, classified parents that are showing up to
- 8:38Speaker 1: school board meetings as domestic terrorists if they disagreed with
- 8:41Speaker 1: what the school board was doing, which was actually covering
- 8:44Speaker 1: up assaults of children by students that quote identified as transgender,
- 8:48Speaker 1: that were really dudes with a penis in a girl's bathroom.
- 8:52Speaker 1: And when parents got angry that there was a child
- 8:55Speaker 1: that was assaulted, for example, and then that child was
- 8:58Speaker 1: not punished but moved another school, and then that child
- 9:00Speaker 1: assaulted another girl in another bathroom in another school.
- 9:05Speaker 2: Then it came to light and parents got enraged.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And what happened when the parents showed up at the
- 9:09Speaker 1: angry school board meetings, they declared they were domestic terrorists,
- 9:12Speaker 1: no different than al Qaeda. This is an important opportunity
- 9:17Speaker 1: for us to seize a moment, go to our state
- 9:20Speaker 1: legislatures and say we do not want political advocacy in
- 9:26Speaker 1: the classroom, especially by a teacher that has a monopoly
- 9:30Speaker 1: over our kids' minds for hours on end.
- 9:33Speaker 2: During the day number one.
- 9:35Speaker 1: The Tennessee Democrats, of course, responded by arguing that this
- 9:38Speaker 1: bill disparaged the rights of LGBTQ parents and parents who support.
- 9:43Speaker 2: The LGBTQQ community. That's not true.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Pro family flags wouldn't be allowed, or traditional family flags
- 9:49Speaker 1: or traditional marriage flags, or the Christian flag or church
- 9:52Speaker 1: flags wouldn't be allowed in the classroom either. A Donald
- 9:54Speaker 1: Trump flag would not be allowed, a Joe Biden flag
- 9:57Speaker 1: wouldn't be allowed.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Because at school, we shouldn't be doing this.
- 10:00Speaker 1: We should be teaching reading, teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic.
- 10:05Speaker 2: They also argued this that it would also fuel a.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Stigma against LGBTQ people, particularly students.
- 10:11Speaker 2: They said, I think that's total crap as well.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Quote it seems a genuine concern behind the bill is
- 10:16Speaker 1: better described as preventing social representation or a sense of
- 10:20Speaker 1: belonging in one's community. That's what's a state representative, a
- 10:23Speaker 1: national Democrat said about this bill, I couldn't disagree more.
- 10:30Speaker 2: This is all about indoctrinating.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Your child, and wherever you live in the country, you
- 10:35Speaker 1: really should pay attention to this. You should be calling
- 10:39Speaker 1: your city council members, you should be calling your state legislators.
- 10:43Speaker 1: You should be calling your elected officials and demanding that
- 10:46Speaker 1: they get rid of all political advocacy flags in the
- 10:50Speaker 1: public schools.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I want to also move to another story real quick.
- 10:55Speaker 1: That is an important one, and there are a lot
- 10:58Speaker 1: of people that haven't been touched the story.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I actually think that that is a mistake.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I think when you cover a story, for example, like
- 11:06Speaker 1: the Biden crime family, and something happens that doesn't quote
- 11:10Speaker 1: look good for the Republican side, I actually don't think
- 11:13Speaker 1: we should run away from it. I think we should
- 11:15Speaker 1: talk about it and see if it is actually really
- 11:17Speaker 1: bad news or if it's propaganda coming in from our government.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Now you may have seen that Democrats have been losing
- 11:26Speaker 1: their minds over the last week as an ex FBI informant,
- 11:31Speaker 1: Alexander Smirnoff has been accused of lying about the Bidens.
- 11:37Speaker 1: We also have another headline from ABC News hunter Biden
- 11:41Speaker 1: informant charged with line had high level Russian contacts and documents.
- 11:48Speaker 1: ABC News ran with this story and I want you
- 11:52Speaker 1: to hear what they said. And the reason why I'm
- 11:53Speaker 1: going to play this for you is because I'm going
- 11:55Speaker 1: to let you hear what James camer and Jim Jordan
- 11:58Speaker 1: had to say about this story.
- 11:59Speaker 2: But listen to this leading the news.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Okay, ABC News, this is the right good news for
- 12:05Speaker 1: the Biden's, bad news for the Republicans, bad news for impeachment. Right,
- 12:09Speaker 1: Hunter Biden's informant, you know, re arrested days after release
- 12:13Speaker 1: by a court is another headline. Hunter Biden's lawyer suggests
- 12:16Speaker 1: this case is tainted by claims of an ex FBI informant.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Line.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Right, these are all the headlines, and there's a lot
- 12:24Speaker 1: of conservatives that have just been completely silent on this,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and that's the wrong play. I want to talk about it,
- 12:31Speaker 1: and I'm going to explain to you both sides of this.
- 12:33Speaker 1: I'm going to start with what the Democrats are trying
- 12:35Speaker 1: to sell you. Listen carefully to ABC News when they
- 12:38Speaker 1: broke in with this big news.
- 12:40Speaker 3: The former FBI informant charged with lying about President Biden
- 12:44Speaker 3: and his son Hunter and Ukraine. That former informant in
- 12:47Speaker 3: court late today. The informant who made claims but Hunter
- 12:50Speaker 3: Biden and his father, Alexander Smirnoff is his name, and
- 12:53Speaker 3: tonight with authorities now say the informant has told them
- 12:56Speaker 3: about his connections to Russian intelligence officials, who he says, we're.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Feeding him information.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Late tonight, the Special Council saying he must be kept
- 13:04Speaker 3: behind bars, arguing he is a flight risk. Here's our
- 13:07Speaker 3: Chief Justice course by the peer Thomas leading us off tonight.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Tonight, federal prosecutors say the former FBI informant accused of
- 13:15Speaker 4: spreading lines about Joe and Hunter Biden, has admitted that
- 13:18Speaker 4: officials associated with Russian intelligence were involved in passing a
- 13:22Speaker 4: story about the President's son. The informant, Alexander Spiredov, was
- 13:26Speaker 4: arrested last week and is being charged with lyne to
- 13:30Speaker 4: the FBI, claiming that the Bidens accepted a five million
- 13:33Speaker 4: dollar bride from Barisma, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter
- 13:37Speaker 4: Biden once sat on the board. House Republicans have used
- 13:41Speaker 4: that story as a justification in their efforts to impeach
- 13:44Speaker 4: President Biden, Prosecutors now calling it a fabrication. In a
- 13:48Speaker 4: new court filing, Special Council David Weiss described Spiritoff as
- 13:52Speaker 4: a longtime FBI informant of ten years who spoke with
- 13:55Speaker 4: his handler nearly every day, and alarmingly, they note that
- 13:59Speaker 4: his efforts spread misinformation about a candidate of one of
- 14:02Speaker 4: the two major parties in the United States continues. In fact,
- 14:06Speaker 4: Special Council White's claims that Spirinoff was actively peddling new
- 14:10Speaker 4: lies that could impact US elections after meeting with Russian
- 14:13Speaker 4: intelligence officials in November. Tonight, Smirnoff is asking a judge
- 14:18Speaker 4: to release him pending trial, but prosecutors called him a
- 14:21Speaker 4: flight risk, saying he has access to more than six
- 14:24Speaker 4: million dollars and noting that his ties to foreign intelligence
- 14:28Speaker 4: agencies could resettle him outside the United States if he
- 14:31Speaker 4: were released. The Special Council believes Spinoff is a flight
- 14:36Speaker 4: risk and wanted him in jail pending trial, but tonight
- 14:39Speaker 4: a federal judges or in Spinoff released under strict conditions.
- 14:43Speaker 4: He must give up his passport, he must wear an
- 14:45Speaker 4: ankle monitor, and he is not allowed to travel overseas.
- 14:49Speaker 1: David, Now I play that for you because I want
- 14:52Speaker 1: you to understand the media's propaganda.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Here.
- 14:56Speaker 1: They started ABC World News tonight with this story. They
- 15:01Speaker 1: never start ABC World News tonight with de Muir with
- 15:05Speaker 1: a story that's negative towards Joe Biden, or towards Hunter Biden,
- 15:09Speaker 1: or towards the Biden crime family.
- 15:11Speaker 2: They don't break in with a Hunter Biden laptop. They
- 15:13Speaker 2: say it's different's information.
- 15:16Speaker 1: They do break in, however, and give you their big
- 15:18Speaker 1: story when it was the fifty intelligence individuals that lied
- 15:21Speaker 1: to you about the Hunter Biden laptop, claiming it was
- 15:23Speaker 1: rushing this information campaign.
- 15:25Speaker 2: But now this is the first piece of good.
- 15:28Speaker 1: News and the Biden crime family investigation, and so therefore
- 15:32Speaker 1: what you're witnessing right now is they are going all
- 15:36Speaker 1: in to try to imply that this entire investigation is
- 15:40Speaker 1: now completely made up and completely tainted. Which brings me
- 15:46Speaker 1: to the other side of this. Maria Bartiromo set down
- 15:51Speaker 1: with Jim Jordan and James Comer for an exclusive one
- 15:56Speaker 1: on one interview with both men side by side. I
- 15:59Speaker 1: want you to hear what they had to say about
- 16:01Speaker 1: this latest development and what I just played you, and how.
- 16:04Speaker 2: The media is covering this as front page news.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Listen carefully, Chairman Comer, your Democrat colleagues are mocking the investigation.
- 16:11Speaker 5: You know that they say it's all Russian disinformation. So
- 16:15Speaker 5: give us your take on mister Smirnoff now being indicted
- 16:20Speaker 5: and saying that Russian passed on the story. And I
- 16:23Speaker 5: also want to get your take on this latest information
- 16:27Speaker 5: that you have gotten from mister Galanis, who is still
- 16:30Speaker 5: in prison.
- 16:31Speaker 6: Yeah, all we know you about Thronoff was the ten
- 16:35Speaker 6: twenty three allegation. We knew from FBI swortses that the
- 16:38Speaker 6: FBI had never investigated it, and all we knew was
- 16:41Speaker 6: what Christopher Ray told us that this informant was one
- 16:46Speaker 6: of their most trusted and highest paid in the bureau
- 16:48Speaker 6: and he had been in that position for over ten years.
- 16:51Speaker 6: So that's all we knew about him. He wasn't an
- 16:53Speaker 6: important part of the case, but it was a tip
- 16:56Speaker 6: that we should investigate. We are not going to leave
- 16:58Speaker 6: any stone unturned. We're going to invest gate every allegation
- 17:01Speaker 6: of Biden influence peddling with respect to Galanis. The individual
- 17:06Speaker 6: we interviewed this past Friday. What we learned was very
- 17:10Speaker 6: similar to what Tony Bobolinski said, that he was familiar
- 17:15Speaker 6: with the CEFC deal. He knew that Joe Biden played
- 17:19Speaker 6: an integral role in helping set this up, that this
- 17:22Speaker 6: deal was set up when Joe Biden was vice president,
- 17:26Speaker 6: and that they believe the Chinese believed that Joe Biden
- 17:29Speaker 6: was going to be an equity owner in this Just
- 17:31Speaker 6: like what we saw with AmeriCorps Health. This is how
- 17:34Speaker 6: the Biden sold the brand. They didn't just use Joe
- 17:37Speaker 6: Biden as a crutch. They used Joe Biden as a
- 17:40Speaker 6: potential board member, as a potential equity owner, and that's
- 17:44Speaker 6: how they were able to receive tens of millions of
- 17:47Speaker 6: dollars from our enemies around the world.
- 17:50Speaker 5: So what do you think was most egregious or important
- 17:54Speaker 5: for us to understand about the testimony you took from
- 17:57Speaker 5: Gallanis who was sitting in an Alabama prison.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Well, there are three people now, three former associates. There
- 18:04Speaker 6: aren't that many former Biden associates, but we now have
- 18:08Speaker 6: three that have testified that Joe spoke with all the
- 18:12Speaker 6: principles that we're sending money mysteriously to the Biden shell
- 18:16Speaker 6: companies that were then being laundered down to the Biden
- 18:19Speaker 6: family members. Three different people that have said now that
- 18:22Speaker 6: Joe was going to be involved in some type of
- 18:24Speaker 6: ownership arrangement.
- 18:26Speaker 2: This is a pattern, and.
- 18:27Speaker 6: It didn't just happen with the CEFC deal in China.
- 18:30Speaker 6: It also happened with the AmeriCorps scam with the healthcare
- 18:34Speaker 6: company in Florida. So we're establishing a pattern here of
- 18:38Speaker 6: not only influence peddling, but also of Joe Biden's involvement
- 18:42Speaker 6: in the influence peddling schemes.
- 18:44Speaker 5: Chairman Jordan, I find it really stunning that Smirnoff gets
- 18:48Speaker 5: indicted and they say that it's because he got information
- 18:52Speaker 5: from Russians and it was not true, and yet Christopher
- 18:55Speaker 5: Steel is.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Still out there.
- 18:57Speaker 5: There has been no accountability whatsoever. You all have been
- 19:00Speaker 5: unable to pin anybody down about what we know to
- 19:03Speaker 5: be true. Now that the Russia collusion story was a
- 19:05Speaker 5: lie and that Stele dossier was made up, how come
- 19:08Speaker 5: Christopher Steel was never indicted?
- 19:10Speaker 7: Yeah, no, Kennedy, and he continued to get paid after
- 19:13Speaker 7: they found out what he told the FBI wasn't true.
- 19:15Speaker 7: And of course now we have this smearoff guy and
- 19:17Speaker 7: he gets indicted and arrested not once, but twice. Here's
- 19:22Speaker 7: the interesting thing about Smirnoff. David Weiss, the guy who's
- 19:25Speaker 7: been investigating Hunter Biden for now almost five years.
- 19:28Speaker 2: David Weiss had this.
- 19:29Speaker 7: Information the ten twenty three back in twenty twenty. What
- 19:33Speaker 7: did he do for the last three years? What did
- 19:35Speaker 7: he do for the last three and a half years.
- 19:37Speaker 7: Why didn't he look into it before? Because all we
- 19:39Speaker 7: knew is what Cherry macomber just said. Christopher Ray said,
- 19:41Speaker 7: this was a great source, confidential human source that we've
- 19:45Speaker 7: been paying for fourteen years. He's helped put away bad guys.
- 19:49Speaker 7: The safety of him is jeopardized if we give the
- 19:51Speaker 7: access to this ten twenty three and now maybe the
- 19:54Speaker 7: guy did lie. I don't know, but it seems strange
- 19:57Speaker 7: to me because it looks like David Weiss didn't do
- 19:59Speaker 7: a darn with this until after the plea deal falls
- 20:03Speaker 7: apart last July, because if you read the indictment, is
- 20:06Speaker 7: when in July is when they go talk to the
- 20:07Speaker 7: confidential human sources handler and start this process that ultimately
- 20:11Speaker 7: led to his arrest.
- 20:12Speaker 2: So we'll have to see.
- 20:13Speaker 7: The other thing is, as you point out, in twenty sixteen,
- 20:16Speaker 7: it was Trump Russian clusion, we found out that was garbage.
- 20:19Speaker 2: In twenty twenty it.
- 20:20Speaker 7: Was oh, the laptops of Russian Information Operation.
- 20:23Speaker 2: We knew that was garbage.
- 20:25Speaker 7: And now here we go the third time, one more
- 20:27Speaker 7: time they're bringing out this story again. Maybe this Smirnoff
- 20:30Speaker 7: guy did like toilim. We'll have to see. But there's
- 20:33Speaker 7: a lot of questions that I think many people have
- 20:35Speaker 7: about how it was all dealt with.
- 20:37Speaker 5: We're going to connect the dots to the national security threat.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Here, But Truman, this is exactly the reason why we
- 20:43Speaker 1: shouldn't be afraid of these stories when they come out,
- 20:46Speaker 1: is because when you listen to what James Comer had
- 20:48Speaker 1: to say, and then you listen to like, hey, why
- 20:51Speaker 1: didn't they arrest him several years ago? Why is it
- 20:54Speaker 1: only now that they're arresting him? And then Jim Jordan
- 20:58Speaker 1: comes in and says he continued to get paid after
- 21:01Speaker 1: they found out what he told the FBI wasn't true.
- 21:04Speaker 1: And of course now we have this smartof guy and
- 21:08Speaker 1: he gets and died and arrested not once but twice.
- 21:12Speaker 1: And he goes through this guy's history. So am I
- 21:15Speaker 1: concerned about this?
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm not.
- 21:18Speaker 1: If he lied to them, does that change the case?
- 21:22Speaker 1: It shouldn't based on the facts we have right now.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Let me say one other thing real quick about what
- 21:29Speaker 1: I was just talking about with James Comber and Jim
- 21:31Speaker 1: Jordan this investigation. Expect there to be more things like
- 21:36Speaker 1: this that come out. If people are getting arrested to
- 21:40Speaker 1: undermine their testimony and what they've said that shouldn't surprise
- 21:45Speaker 1: you at all, based on what we've just witnessed with
- 21:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump. None of this should surprise you, just based
- 21:51Speaker 1: on what we've seen with how they're treating political adversaries
- 21:56Speaker 1: of the Democratic Party.
- 21:58Speaker 2: So when there is.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Something like this, it comes out and there will be more.
- 22:02Speaker 1: I'm just going to tell you that in the weeks ahead,
- 22:04Speaker 1: as they try to save Joe Biden, know that when
- 22:08Speaker 1: you see the headline they're leading with it, they're probably
- 22:11Speaker 1: lying to you or trying to manipulate you into believing something.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Keep digging and I'm going to bring it to you
- 22:19Speaker 1: every day. But the rest of the media, many Republicans
- 22:21Speaker 1: just kind of walked away from the story. And I'm like, guys,
- 22:23Speaker 1: this is not a bad story for us. Tell the
- 22:26Speaker 1: truth of what's happening here and explain why it's happening,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and don't just run away from it because the headline
- 22:31Speaker 1: looks like, oh, it might be bad news for Republicans
- 22:34Speaker 1: who are going after Joe Biden. Look into the story,
- 22:38Speaker 1: ask questions, ask questions about why it's happening now, and
- 22:43Speaker 1: ask questions the same way that Jim Jordan and James
- 22:47Speaker 1: Cummerson whine they had died him two three years ago
- 22:50Speaker 1: because it's the political operation.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Now.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Also something else that I have to make sure you
- 22:56Speaker 1: know about, and there's a big trip coming up to
- 22:58Speaker 1: the southern border. Governor of Texas Center Ted Cruz, former
- 23:03Speaker 1: President Donald Trump are going to the border.
- 23:05Speaker 2: This is going to be a very big moment in
- 23:07Speaker 2: this presidential.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Campaign cycle and this Senate and House cycle, with this
- 23:11Speaker 1: presidential election year. They're going to the border as things
- 23:15Speaker 1: are continuing to get out of control and more people
- 23:18Speaker 1: are dying every day from fentnyl overnesses than we've ever
- 23:21Speaker 1: had before. The Republican National Committee put together what they
- 23:26Speaker 1: refer to as a chronicled evolution of Joe Biden's Border
- 23:32Speaker 1: lies in a new montage. This took I can't even
- 23:36Speaker 1: imagine how many hours.
- 23:37Speaker 2: To put together.
- 23:39Speaker 1: But it's entitled the Evolution of Biden's Border Lies, and
- 23:43Speaker 1: I'm going to play it for you because it's four
- 23:45Speaker 1: minutes of Joe Biden not just lying to you, but
- 23:49Speaker 1: changing his story while lying to you. And I hope
- 23:53Speaker 1: that every one of you, when you hear this, will
- 23:55Speaker 1: share this with your family, with your friends, with your colleagues,
- 23:59Speaker 1: because this is excellent work done by the Republican National Committee.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Take a listen again. This is the R and C
- 24:07Speaker 1: from beginning to end, chronicling the lies and the evolution
- 24:10Speaker 1: of Biden's border lies.
- 24:12Speaker 2: In one video.
- 24:13Speaker 8: It happens every single solitary year, there is a significant
- 24:20Speaker 8: increase the number of people coming to the border in
- 24:23Speaker 8: the winter months of January, February, March.
- 24:28Speaker 2: That happens every year.
- 24:29Speaker 5: That's a record that suttons to most folks like a crisis.
- 24:32Speaker 8: Well, look it's way down now, we've now gotten control.
- 24:36Speaker 2: We're making progress. But it's not going to evidence itself overnight.
- 24:41Speaker 2: It will not. We're the vice president on any of this.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Isn't she supposed to be addressing the root causes of migration?
- 24:47Speaker 8: Absolutely, and she has been addressing the root causes of migration,
- 24:50Speaker 8: but actually seeing some reductions in some of those numbers.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Do you have lands to visit the southern border.
- 24:55Speaker 8: I've been there before, I haven't. I mean, I know it, well,
- 24:59Speaker 8: I guess I should go down. But the whole point
- 25:02Speaker 8: of it is, I haven't had a whole hell of
- 25:04Speaker 8: a lot of time to get down. You notice you're
- 25:06Speaker 8: not seeing a lot of pictures of kids lying on
- 25:08Speaker 8: top of one another with you know, with with with
- 25:11Speaker 8: with black with you know, it looks like PARPs on
- 25:15Speaker 8: top of it.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Here here's the way I see it. We've got to
- 25:19Speaker 2: deal with the root.
- 25:21Speaker 9: Causes in addition to what are the effects.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Right now, my focus has been on the root cos.
- 25:27Speaker 5: We are certainly focused on continuing to assert order at
- 25:32Speaker 5: the border.
- 25:32Speaker 10: If we have effectively managed an unprecedented number of non
- 25:36Speaker 10: citizens seeking to enter the United States, I think that
- 25:39Speaker 10: we are doing a good job to.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Night people across this border for the first time.
- 25:43Speaker 3: You're confident of this border security.
- 25:47Speaker 2: We have.
- 25:49Speaker 9: A secure border and that that is a priority for
- 25:53Speaker 9: any nation, including hours in our administration.
- 25:56Speaker 2: What is that solution?
- 25:57Speaker 11: Can you understand the frustration though that America and have
- 26:00Speaker 11: about the situation at the border.
- 26:04Speaker 9: It's not a monolist there are very there are a
- 26:07Speaker 9: variety of components to this.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Do you continue to maintain that the border is secure?
- 26:13Speaker 10: Yes, and we are working day in and day out
- 26:16Speaker 10: to enhance its security.
- 26:18Speaker 8: Comment so the border were more important and go around.
- 26:21Speaker 10: We're executing a comprehensive strategy to secure our borders and
- 26:26Speaker 10: build a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system.
- 26:30Speaker 9: As we advance our efforts to address the root causes
- 26:33Speaker 9: of migration, our administration is simultaneously working to ensure a safe, orderly,
- 26:40Speaker 9: and humane processing system at the borders.
- 26:43Speaker 10: By that definition, no administration has ever had operational control.
- 26:49Speaker 10: So the way I define it is maximizing the resources
- 26:52Speaker 10: that we have to deliver the most effective results, and
- 26:56Speaker 10: we are indeed doing that. It is my testimony that
- 26:59Speaker 10: the order is secure.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Things are going to at the border.
- 27:02Speaker 7: Sir my Brandon, you all expected.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Do you have any plans to the border? I think, pardon,
- 27:10Speaker 2: do you have any plans to visit the border? Not
- 27:13Speaker 2: in your term?
- 27:14Speaker 10: Now, our approach to managing the borders securely and humanely,
- 27:18Speaker 10: even within our fundamentally broken immigration system, is working.
- 27:22Speaker 11: We have seen his border plan management be effective and
- 27:25Speaker 11: so we have taken actions. But again, this happens at
- 27:28Speaker 11: ebbs and flows. That's what we see at the border
- 27:30Speaker 11: for different trends, for different reasons. And what we're seeing
- 27:33Speaker 11: here at the border the migration flow, increased migration flow, certainly,
- 27:39Speaker 11: you know it ebbs and flows, and we're at a
- 27:41Speaker 11: time of the year where we're seeing more at the border,
- 27:44Speaker 11: and it's not unusual at all I can do.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Give me the power? Are that because we're very day.
- 27:49Speaker 2: I got it all giving the border control.
- 27:53Speaker 7: There the people digiting, the big of the drudge Gary,
- 27:55Speaker 7: the people just stop. This price of work.
- 27:58Speaker 11: We're seeing at the is ebbs and flows and how
- 28:03Speaker 11: many migrants arrive at the border is something that happens
- 28:05Speaker 11: every year. It ebbs and.
- 28:06Speaker 8: Flows for much too long. As you all know. The
- 28:08Speaker 8: immigration system isn't broken. This long pastime to fix it.
- 28:13Speaker 9: We need help.
- 28:14Speaker 8: Why won't they give me the health all this time
- 28:17Speaker 8: of mouth, I sorry about about the border.
- 28:19Speaker 6: It's out of control.
- 28:24Speaker 2: You listen to those lies.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I gotta say well done to the RNC for chronicling this.
- 28:30Speaker 2: This four minute audio I just played for you.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Shows the footage of the Biden and top ranking officials
- 28:37Speaker 1: of vis administration from twenty twenty one, twenty two, twenty
- 28:41Speaker 1: twenty three, with many claiming that the border is under control.
- 28:46Speaker 1: You go back to one of those clips from March
- 28:48Speaker 1: of twenty twenty one, Biden claimed his administration had quote
- 28:51Speaker 1: gotten control after an influx of migrants in the previous months,
- 28:56Speaker 1: and a part of this audio I just played for you.
- 28:59Speaker 2: In September twenty twenty two.
- 29:00Speaker 1: In that interview with NBC News Meet the Press, the
- 29:03Speaker 1: Vice President Kaalah Harris said, quote, we have a secure border.
- 29:10Speaker 1: She also said America's immigration system is broken during the interview,
- 29:14Speaker 1: but it was a controlled and a secured border.
- 29:18Speaker 2: That's what she said. It's a secure border.
- 29:22Speaker 1: The video also includes footage of Department of Homeland Security
- 29:25Speaker 1: Secretary Alejandro maorc Is testifying under oath in November of
- 29:30Speaker 1: twenty twenty two that the border is secure and we
- 29:36Speaker 1: are working day in and day out to enhance its security.
- 29:41Speaker 1: And then again he lied to you in April of
- 29:44Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. My arc has said it is my
- 29:48Speaker 1: testimony that the border is secure.
- 29:51Speaker 2: That was under oath.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You look at the end of this video and includes
- 29:56Speaker 1: that clip from February of this year, earlier this month
- 30:01Speaker 1: showing Biden saying, for much too long his words, as
- 30:05Speaker 1: you all know, the immigration system has been broken.
- 30:07Speaker 2: In it's long pastime to fix it.
- 30:10Speaker 1: That comment cames days after the release of the Senate
- 30:13Speaker 1: pro immigration border bill that ultimately collapse submitted resounding opposition
- 30:19Speaker 1: from Republicans. Many Republicans contended that Biden had has the
- 30:25Speaker 1: power to address the border through executive action, if he
- 30:27Speaker 1: just went back to exactly what Donald Trump was doing.
- 30:31Speaker 1: The RNC chairwoman who's just resigned, Ronald McDaniel, slammed Biden
- 30:37Speaker 1: in a statement, saying this, Joe Biden ignored the southern
- 30:41Speaker 1: border and denied that a crisis existed for years, but
- 30:44Speaker 1: now he's pretending to change his tune when it's politically convenient.
- 30:48Speaker 1: There's no doubt Biden's open border policies have led to
- 30:51Speaker 1: criminals entering our country, deadly fetnol in our communities in
- 30:55Speaker 1: an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. No matter how he spends it,
- 31:00Speaker 1: every state is a border state under Joe Biden. I
- 31:03Speaker 1: hope all of you will take what I just played
- 31:05Speaker 1: for you and share it on social media. Please share
- 31:08Speaker 1: it wherever you can, and I'll see you back here
- 31:12Speaker 1: tomorrow
