- 1:44Speaker 1: the mouth out the money.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Looking me?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you think I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody you're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show. Here we go today. I think I have
- 2:16Speaker 7: something for a lot of people today, at least I
- 2:18Speaker 7: hope I do. And this is about on your journey,
- 2:23Speaker 7: And this is about something that happens to us all.
- 2:28Speaker 7: I mean, what happens to all of us from time
- 2:31Speaker 7: to time when we get discouraged. What happens to all
- 2:36Speaker 7: of us when we feel like quitting, What happens to
- 2:41Speaker 7: all of us when we have that turnback moment. What
- 2:45Speaker 7: happens to all of us when it don't seem like
- 2:48Speaker 7: it's going to pan out? Because I want you to
- 2:51Speaker 7: understand something that everyone, every single living soul, has those
- 2:57Speaker 7: thoughts about something some point in their life. I mean,
- 3:03Speaker 7: you know, look, I've oftentimes been discouraged about things not
- 3:07Speaker 7: happening as fast as I like them. All things don't
- 3:12Speaker 7: pan out the way I would like for them to
- 3:15Speaker 7: have panned out. I mean, it's so many ways to
- 3:19Speaker 7: get discouraged. But what my encouragement to you is when
- 3:26Speaker 7: discouragement comes is understand this. It is a part of
- 3:33Speaker 7: the growth process. It is a test. It is a
- 3:40Speaker 7: test of your faith. How bad you want it, do
- 3:45Speaker 7: you really believe? That's all faith is is, simply, and
- 3:51Speaker 7: I've said this how many times. Faith is the belief
- 3:55Speaker 7: in things that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes,
- 3:59Speaker 7: set facts comes, it is a test of your faith.
- 4:04Speaker 7: At least it's been that way for me. Now other
- 4:06Speaker 7: people can explain it another way. I'm not other people.
- 4:09Speaker 7: I can only give it to you the way it
- 4:11Speaker 7: has come to me and throughout my life, and man
- 4:14Speaker 7: o man or man discouragement sometimes it's tough to deal
- 4:18Speaker 7: with because it seems at times when you were discouraged
- 4:24Speaker 7: that it is so absolute that this means the end,
- 4:31Speaker 7: and if you allow it to set in, it can
- 4:35Speaker 7: be just that the end of you, when merely merely
- 4:39Speaker 7: it was a test, that's all it is. But the
- 4:43Speaker 7: majority of people that I know who are not successful,
- 4:48Speaker 7: or who have told me the story of how they
- 4:50Speaker 7: gave up. It was because at a moment of discouragement
- 4:56Speaker 7: that they allowed it to set in and it became
- 5:00Speaker 7: so engulfing that it became the reason why you shouldn't finish.
- 5:05Speaker 7: And then they started justifying it with hit the one
- 5:07Speaker 7: that I hate to hear. Well, if it's God's will,
- 5:11Speaker 7: excuse me. If it's God's will that you fail. If
- 5:17Speaker 7: it's God's will that you're not successful, If it's God's
- 5:23Speaker 7: will that you lay down and give up, it's God's
- 5:26Speaker 7: will that you allow yourself to amount to, not to
- 5:31Speaker 7: not reach your potential. That's God's will. That's not the
- 5:36Speaker 7: God I know. That's not the God I serve. That's
- 5:39Speaker 7: not the God I've read about. That's not the God
- 5:42Speaker 7: I believe in. I'm sorry, I just my mother always
- 5:46Speaker 7: taught me something that he didn't.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Bring me this far to leave me. I just don't
- 5:50Speaker 2: believe that, not for a second. Now.
- 5:56Speaker 7: Have I convinced myself for some things, yep? Have I
- 6:00Speaker 7: allowed the devil to come into the picture and paint
- 6:03Speaker 7: a different one from it?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Yep? Yep, I've done all of that. But you can't
- 6:08Speaker 2: blame that on God. Now, come on, So.
- 6:13Speaker 7: When discouragement comes, try to look at it if you can,
- 6:19Speaker 7: as a test of your faith, and you merely have
- 6:23Speaker 7: to pass the test. It could be for a day,
- 6:26Speaker 7: a half a day, a few hours, a week, a
- 6:29Speaker 7: few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody know how long
- 6:32Speaker 7: the test period is. Your job is to keep the
- 6:35Speaker 7: faith and keep moving. Keep the faith and keep moving,
- 6:40Speaker 7: keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive. That's your job.
- 6:46Speaker 7: If you do that, that's how you pass the test.
- 6:50Speaker 7: It could be over tomorrow, it could be over in
- 6:52Speaker 7: two weeks, it could be over in a month.
- 6:54Speaker 2: You don't know.
- 6:55Speaker 7: But all you got to do is wake up and
- 6:57Speaker 7: keep the faith and fight the discouraging feelings.
- 7:00Speaker 2: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 7:03Speaker 7: This is the part I know about for show because
- 7:06Speaker 7: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 7:10Speaker 7: order to get to where God wanted.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Me to be.
- 7:14Speaker 7: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 7: think of the outcome. When I get discouraged about a task,
- 7:24Speaker 7: I think about the outcome. Man, what would it be
- 7:27Speaker 7: like if I were to complete the task? What would
- 7:30Speaker 7: it be like, Man, what would the outcome be for
- 7:33Speaker 7: me if I hung loan in there? If I didn't
- 7:36Speaker 7: give up. If I imagine, I imagine if I don't quit.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I imagine if I don't give.
- 7:45Speaker 7: Up, what would it be like? Man, Suppose everything I'm
- 7:50Speaker 7: hoping for comes true. But if I don't quit and
- 7:53Speaker 7: give up, that might just be the case. I start
- 7:57Speaker 7: talking to myself like that, I think of what the
- 8:01Speaker 7: upside is. What's the upside to stay in with it?
- 8:05Speaker 7: You see, all this is the same thing. I'm just
- 8:07Speaker 7: giving you different ways to look at it. I'm saying
- 8:10Speaker 7: the exact same thing over and over. But I'm just
- 8:12Speaker 7: trying to find the switch that connects in your mind
- 8:15Speaker 7: where you can say, Okay, man, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Because if you think of the outcome and the outcome
- 8:22Speaker 7: is appealing to you, if you imagine what it would
- 8:25Speaker 7: be like if you don't give up or you don't quit,
- 8:28Speaker 7: if you think only of what the upside is to
- 8:32Speaker 7: stay in with it, and then I go, where can
- 8:36Speaker 7: this lead to? If I stay with it, man, and
- 8:40Speaker 7: the outcome comes true? What else could that lead me to?
- 8:45Speaker 7: Because I mean, there's always more to it. So Where
- 8:48Speaker 7: else could this lead me to? What are the possibilities?
- 8:53Speaker 4: Man?
- 8:54Speaker 7: What are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have
- 8:59Speaker 7: in store for me? If I just hang in there,
- 9:02Speaker 7: if I pass this test of faith? If I just
- 9:05Speaker 7: pass this test, now, it ain't gonna be the only one.
- 9:08Speaker 7: But you gotta get past this one. No, then you
- 9:11Speaker 7: gonna hear the smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one.
- 9:14Speaker 7: It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a
- 9:17Speaker 7: series of tests.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Man.
- 9:20Speaker 7: Man, when you're thinking about giving up, when you're discouraged,
- 9:25Speaker 7: think of the outcome. Imagine what it would be like
- 9:28Speaker 7: if you don't quit, if you don't give up, what's
- 9:30Speaker 7: the upside to staying with it? Where can this all
- 9:34Speaker 7: lead to? What can this get you to? If you
- 9:38Speaker 7: do this and you get to where you think you
- 9:40Speaker 7: want to be? Oh my god, what's after that? What
- 9:44Speaker 7: are the limitless and endless possibilities of holding on to
- 9:49Speaker 7: your faith?
- 9:50Speaker 2: What could really be out there for me? Man?
- 9:53Speaker 7: If I just pass this test, you gotta talk yourself
- 9:56Speaker 7: into hanging in there.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Ship.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:06Speaker 7: The time has come for us to realize that God
- 10:09Speaker 7: has done it again, created another day for us, giving
- 10:13Speaker 7: us another opportunity. Woke us up this morning, got us
- 10:16Speaker 7: continuing on. We have a measure of health, whatever that is.
- 10:20Speaker 2: God is good.
- 10:21Speaker 7: Man. Please understand that is unquestionable, that He is amazing
- 10:29Speaker 7: and he is good, and He is available to each
- 10:32Speaker 7: and every one of us on a daily basis. He
- 10:35Speaker 7: is waiting with outstretched arms to receive any form of
- 10:39Speaker 7: contact from us today.
- 10:41Speaker 2: He loved to hear from you. Make it happen, y'all.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Steve Harvin Martis show Shehery Strawberry, Calin Frail Mississippi, Monica.
- 10:47Speaker 7: Come back kid Junior, the legend that he is nephew
- 10:50Speaker 7: Thomas Junior.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Y'all going on? Man, how everything going with you?
- 10:54Speaker 8: Man?
- 10:55Speaker 9: Made everything great?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Man?
- 10:56Speaker 9: Blessed man good? He said, everything Man, weekend was great.
- 11:00Speaker 9: Let me ask you something.
- 11:02Speaker 10: What's something you wish you knew earlier in your career
- 11:04Speaker 10: that has become invaluable in the second part of your career?
- 11:08Speaker 7: Which are the thousand things I can tell you today?
- 11:13Speaker 7: It's so much man. I wish I didn't worry about
- 11:17Speaker 7: it like I used to. Because I don't worry about
- 11:20Speaker 7: it anymore. It would have saved me a lot of stress.
- 11:26Speaker 7: I wish that I I wish I was the businessman
- 11:32Speaker 7: earlier that I am today. I just wasn't the business man.
- 11:41Speaker 7: I was too much focused on the artists. You know,
- 11:45Speaker 7: I mean you know, I mean the business. I'm in
- 11:47Speaker 7: a show business. I had a great show. I was
- 11:51Speaker 7: good at doing shows. I wish I had known more
- 11:54Speaker 7: of the business aspect. So my recommended, my recommendation to
- 11:59Speaker 7: anybody get in this business, focus heavily on the business
- 12:04Speaker 7: aspect of it. Protect yourself, contracts, everything, payments, percentages, Learn
- 12:11Speaker 7: what that stuff is, man, because.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Back in in this business it's hard to get to
- 12:18Speaker 2: buddy back in the end because they do some math
- 12:25Speaker 2: on you. That's trick aid.
- 12:27Speaker 7: Now, I tell you the best people I've ever been
- 12:29Speaker 7: involved in business with I still make money off of it.
- 12:33Speaker 7: HarperCollins Publishing. That book business is legit. They send that
- 12:39Speaker 7: check every April one, every October one, and they don't
- 12:43Speaker 7: short you.
- 12:44Speaker 2: They don't play no games.
- 12:46Speaker 7: The publishing business is the most honest business I've ever
- 12:50Speaker 7: been in, the most over anything.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Because it show ain't TV. It's showing. Don't you think TV?
- 13:01Speaker 4: Is it?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Because it's not they tricky.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Boy.
- 13:04Speaker 9: You got a number one show, okay, and they tricky.
- 13:08Speaker 2: On that too.
- 13:09Speaker 7: Well, they're gonna always try to be tricky. People don't
- 13:13Speaker 7: pay you what you worth, Junior. People pay you what
- 13:15Speaker 7: you can negotiate.
- 13:17Speaker 1: That's a good lesson. Job pays you what you're worth.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's a good lesson. Whatever you can negotiate.
- 13:24Speaker 9: Okay, what.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Hello, they don't they don't.
- 13:30Speaker 2: That ain't tricky to.
- 13:31Speaker 11: You, all right, you guys coming up at thirty two minutes,
- 13:40Speaker 11: he runs that fraying back right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You're listening Hardy Morning show. I'm curious.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Do you feel a mid morning slump and require a
- 13:56Speaker 3: little boost to get you back on track?
- 13:58Speaker 1: That's where the news start. Bucks Energy Refreshers come in.
- 14:02Speaker 3: If you already love Starbucks refreshers, these have that same bright,
- 14:06Speaker 3: fruity taste now with an added boost of caffeine. Your
- 14:09Speaker 3: favorite flavor is like pick drink for that perfect midday reset,
- 14:13Speaker 3: or try something new like Mango strawberry Energy Refresher drink.
- 14:16Speaker 3: So when a little lift sounds good today, try the
- 14:20Speaker 3: new energy refresher.
- 14:21Speaker 1: At Starbucks or order one right now on the Starbucks Act.
- 14:25Speaker 1: It is time now to run that prank back with
- 14:27Speaker 1: the nephew, nephew, what you got for us?
- 14:30Speaker 8: Your baby is going back to pre k? Okay the
- 14:35Speaker 8: blood ready yet?
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yes?
- 14:37Speaker 8: Yes, yes, Sez, we need a whole nother year this. Yeah,
- 14:40Speaker 8: we're gonna get this coloring down. We're gonna get it down.
- 14:43Speaker 8: Let's go cat dog. Your baby going back to pre k. Hello, yes,
- 14:47Speaker 8: I'm trying to reach Missus Thomas. Please, my name is
- 14:51Speaker 8: Missus Stapleton. I'm actually the principal over at elementary school.
- 14:56Speaker 8: You're I'm looking at my records indicating that your son, Thomas,
- 14:59Speaker 8: is going to be starting his first grade.
- 15:03Speaker 1: My baby is ready right listen.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Miss Thomas.
- 15:06Speaker 8: I've been going through actually all of the children's records
- 15:10Speaker 8: that will be starting school, and I'm looking at your
- 15:13Speaker 8: son's grades from his kindergarten and he did good. Well, No,
- 15:19Speaker 8: not exactly. I mean there's been a few I actually
- 15:23Speaker 8: spoke with the teacher and who he was under in kindergarten,
- 15:26Speaker 8: and it seems like he just really wasn't up to
- 15:28Speaker 8: par as the rest of the children.
- 15:31Speaker 6: Now, his conduct now, he talked, but he gets his work.
- 15:35Speaker 6: So what else is she saying on that that ain't right.
- 15:38Speaker 8: Well, what's what it seems to be, ma'am, is that
- 15:41Speaker 8: his grades weren't up to par as the rest of
- 15:43Speaker 8: the other children. She did tell me he was a
- 15:45Speaker 8: disobedient child.
- 15:46Speaker 6: No, he's disobedient and talking two different things.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Come on, okay, well, man, listen.
- 15:51Speaker 8: What we've decided here is we're gonna let little actually
- 15:55Speaker 8: do another year of kindergarten.
- 15:57Speaker 6: An let him do another year of kindergarten.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Knows, man, that's that's the only choice I have.
- 16:04Speaker 6: No, we got our letter in the mail with our
- 16:07Speaker 6: report card the week after school's started, and it's said
- 16:11Speaker 6: on the back promoted. And if I got to get
- 16:13Speaker 6: about this couch and go get it, I'm gonna be
- 16:16Speaker 6: out because I'm telling you right now we will be
- 16:19Speaker 6: in the first grade. Kindergarten. Won't that hard. I'm not
- 16:22Speaker 6: sure what they told you about him, but it must
- 16:24Speaker 6: be the wrong.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Well, understand that he doesn't color as well as the
- 16:29Speaker 8: rest of the kids. He's all out of he's out
- 16:31Speaker 8: of the lines when he colored. He doesn't know his
- 16:33Speaker 8: numbers completely. And that's kind of what we need when
- 16:36Speaker 8: you first come into into the first grade.
- 16:39Speaker 6: When I can show you on this paper. He did
- 16:41Speaker 6: satisfactory all the way through. Now you about the mail
- 16:44Speaker 6: off and I'm already sick calling me with some by
- 16:48Speaker 6: my son blunking kindergarten. He ain't that kind of thing.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It does not color well, man, I said.
- 16:53Speaker 6: Colin ain't got no do with that, dadgard kindergarten. He
- 16:56Speaker 6: is going to the first grade, and I'll be down
- 16:59Speaker 6: there on August twenty four.
- 17:00Speaker 2: No, I will not be able to allow you to get.
- 17:02Speaker 6: Into school on a god mister, I'm sorry, and let
- 17:06Speaker 6: me get Let me tell you what. Let me go
- 17:08Speaker 6: in and get my pencil and pen because I don't
- 17:09Speaker 6: live that far from the school. And if y'all aren't
- 17:11Speaker 6: ready down there, calls on some conflict. I need to
- 17:14Speaker 6: get up and go down there because I'm not telling
- 17:15Speaker 6: my baby when he come home today, so he ain't
- 17:17Speaker 6: going to the day gun first, ma'am.
- 17:19Speaker 8: I hate to say it, but I'm gonna have to
- 17:20Speaker 8: refuse education from him on all the situation.
- 17:23Speaker 6: You know what, I just went back and put him
- 17:25Speaker 6: in public school. I know that was a stake in
- 17:27Speaker 6: the first place. Food, which are talking about some coloring?
- 17:30Speaker 6: Give me your name again, sir, and what's that number
- 17:33Speaker 6: down there.
- 17:34Speaker 2: The number here is actually area code.
- 17:37Speaker 6: Waitman, I got the number. Now, mind, I pulled up
- 17:39Speaker 6: this report card. I got the number. Your name on
- 17:41Speaker 6: the back of this paper. I'll tell you what I
- 17:43Speaker 6: was twenty fourth, will be coming in there, going to school,
- 17:46Speaker 6: and I might make a trip around there this evening
- 17:48Speaker 6: when I come from the document. I'm not want to
- 17:51Speaker 6: hear that calling. Ain't got nothing to do with nothing else.
- 17:55Speaker 8: It's not only color his arithmetickets back. All right, No,
- 17:59Speaker 8: are you working with him at home when you're doing
- 18:01Speaker 8: anything else at.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Home every Hey, what you're trying to say, I'm an
- 18:04Speaker 6: incompetent parent.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'm just asking as a parent, are you working with
- 18:07Speaker 2: your child?
- 18:08Speaker 6: Working with my child every day? He can read better
- 18:10Speaker 6: than you.
- 18:11Speaker 4: Probably No, he can't read.
- 18:12Speaker 2: But I'm the princess.
- 18:13Speaker 6: I can't read better than you because honestly, you read
- 18:15Speaker 6: that role on that paper that he's supposed to be
- 18:17Speaker 6: going back to kindergarten, when I know the paper said
- 18:20Speaker 6: from his going to the first grade. And I'm not
- 18:22Speaker 6: listening to no more this about him going backwards. Now,
- 18:26Speaker 6: if you got a problem with your paper, word, maybe
- 18:29Speaker 6: you need to go talk to your secretary or somebody
- 18:31Speaker 6: in there that wrote my baby.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Name down with your son's name, Thomas.
- 18:36Speaker 6: Ma'am, No, it ain't him, baby, I know it ain't him.
- 18:38Speaker 6: You're not gonna sit up and tell me my son
- 18:40Speaker 6: is flocking in kindergarten. He is not going back to
- 18:42Speaker 6: that kindergarten.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Don't bring your son down here, as.
- 18:47Speaker 6: I tell you what, be ready to want me and
- 18:49Speaker 6: my husband, but we will be down there, officer, far back,
- 18:52Speaker 6: pant shoes, you, the farm, everything you hear me.
- 18:55Speaker 2: I will not be able to allow him in education
- 18:57Speaker 2: right now.
- 18:58Speaker 6: I will come down there right now, and that that
- 19:00Speaker 6: correction on that paper for you is not going back
- 19:03Speaker 6: to no kindergarten for no coloring.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Can you bring him down here and let him color.
- 19:07Speaker 6: For me like you talking about coloring arithmetic in ourselves? No, no,
- 19:12Speaker 6: I'm sorry. We will be down there. Augusta twenty four.
- 19:15Speaker 6: I would have this poor card in my hand that
- 19:18Speaker 6: says you have been promoted to the first grade. And
- 19:20Speaker 6: he's gonna have a mile on his face, and so
- 19:22Speaker 6: are you.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I got one one thing I need to tell you.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Are you listening to me?
- 19:26Speaker 6: I'm listening. You ain't saying nothing. Yeah, you better say something.
- 19:29Speaker 6: That sound like the first grade. Because I'm not playing.
- 19:31Speaker 6: I would go down to this dadgun administrative office and

- 21:16Speaker 6: that's all.
- 21:16Speaker 8: Right, all right, But one more question, though, what is
- 21:19Speaker 8: the baddest I'm talking about the baddest radio show in
- 21:22Speaker 8: the land.
- 21:22Speaker 6: That's Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:24Speaker 11: Baby, you gotta learn early then it is as the
- 21:31Speaker 11: CELO or Chief love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building,

- 21:42Speaker 3: I'm curious, do you feel a mid morning slump and
- 21:46Speaker 3: require a little boost to get you back on track.
- 21:48Speaker 1: That's where the news Starbucks Energy Refreshers come in.

- 22:14Speaker 1: Act coming up at the top of the hour.
- 22:17Speaker 11: In trending headline and entertainment news, Lebron James is facing
- 22:20Speaker 11: backlash due to his comments about the cities of Memphis
- 22:24Speaker 11: and Milwaukee. Howard University is offering a class on Cardi
- 22:28Speaker 11: B's impact, and another Trump loyal loyalist, former Attorney General
- 22:32Speaker 11: Pam Bondi, was fired for possibly not being loyal enough. Okay,
- 22:39Speaker 11: I'm gonna learnt. We'll talk about these stories at the
- 22:45Speaker 11: top of the hour, but right now it is time
- 22:47Speaker 11: to ask our clo Steve Harvey. This is from Oscar
- 22:52Speaker 11: and rock Hill, Oscar Wrights. I called my wife and
- 22:56Speaker 11: told her i'd be home late. I expected her to
- 22:59Speaker 11: be home when I got but she wasn't. When she
- 23:02Speaker 11: got home, she wouldn't tell me where she'd been, she said,
- 23:05Speaker 11: I never tell her where I've been? Why is she
- 23:08Speaker 11: playing these games?
- 23:10Speaker 7: Well, don't you called and told her you was gonna
- 23:13Speaker 7: be late? She said, okay, you call him home.
- 23:17Speaker 2: She wasn't.
- 23:17Speaker 7: Now she ain't tell you where you was. You don't
- 23:21Speaker 7: tell her what she was? Why is she playing these games?
- 23:25Speaker 7: The question is why did you start the game? See,
- 23:28Speaker 7: don't start the game, man, unless you want to play
- 23:30Speaker 7: the game, just don't do it. No goodwill you suposed
- 23:35Speaker 7: to say, Baby, i'ma be late. I'm working late at
- 23:37Speaker 7: the office. We got a project that's due all. Hey,
- 23:41Speaker 7: I'm stopping off at my buddy's house. We're gonna get
- 23:44Speaker 7: a cigar spost to tell you why something? Though, And
- 23:46Speaker 7: if you don't, then you come home and she ain't there.
- 23:48Speaker 7: Now she ain't gonna tell you where she at. See,
- 23:52Speaker 7: don't start the game. They again, don't start the game
- 23:56Speaker 7: if you don't want to play the game. And ain't
- 23:59Speaker 7: At the same end, don't hire trick dad. If you don't,
- 24:02Speaker 7: won't trick dad? I mean, ain't that the song from.
- 24:07Speaker 1: If You Married to an Ak?
- 24:10Speaker 4: I know?
- 24:12Speaker 2: All right?
- 24:12Speaker 11: Moving on to Tanya and Hammond. Uh, Tanya writes, A
- 24:16Speaker 11: male friend invited me to game night. My husband said
- 24:20Speaker 11: I could go, but he wasn't going on Saturday. I
- 24:24Speaker 11: was getting dressed and he got annoyed because I was going.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Did he forget that he said I could go? Am
- 24:30Speaker 1: I supposed to read his mind?
- 24:34Speaker 2: Done that before?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's not what I don't see.
- 24:39Speaker 7: How I don't see how y'all keep thinking these male friends,
- 24:43Speaker 7: it's gonna work out.
- 24:47Speaker 1: But why didn't he?
- 24:47Speaker 2: A male friend asked my wife to come out on
- 24:51Speaker 2: game night?
- 24:52Speaker 4: Now?
- 24:52Speaker 2: Why you want my wife a game man?
- 24:56Speaker 4: Now?
- 24:56Speaker 2: Where your boys at?
- 24:57Speaker 3: So they could be partners like my game, play cards
- 25:01Speaker 3: and stuff, play spades.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Together game night.
- 25:09Speaker 7: I thought they meant like to watch the game. You
- 25:11Speaker 7: don't matter. It don't matter you matter. You call this
- 25:14Speaker 7: boy his wife and she asked you can she go late?
- 25:18Speaker 2: Lady? Now? She getting ready for game night?
- 25:21Speaker 7: Now?
- 25:21Speaker 2: He said on that swoll still going?
- 25:24Speaker 8: Uh?
- 25:24Speaker 1: Two questions? Two questions? Flo Why do he say she
- 25:29Speaker 1: could go? And what does she have on? What was
- 25:31Speaker 1: she wearing?
- 25:34Speaker 7: She she was going up there looking nice. Somebody gonna
- 25:39Speaker 7: want to play Twister mast the game, somebody gonna want
- 25:46Speaker 7: to spend that bottle.
- 25:51Speaker 4: We're going.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Night, Yeah, she said, yeah, she yeah. This is an issue,
- 26:01Speaker 1: communication problem and all of that right here, all right, Clo.
- 26:07Speaker 2: It's that male friend stuff.
- 26:09Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, yeah, But she doesn't get it because her
- 26:15Speaker 11: question is am I supposed to read his mind? So
- 26:19Speaker 11: she should have told her friend no to game night?
- 26:22Speaker 1: Is basically what you're saying, and she can't be his
- 26:26Speaker 1: friend anymore.
- 26:29Speaker 11: I'm calling my phone, all right. Moving on, Clo to
- 26:34Speaker 11: Zach and Syracuse. Zach writes, I had a one night
- 26:38Speaker 11: stand and I want to find the lady. She was
- 26:42Speaker 11: in town on a work trip and we had a
- 26:45Speaker 11: great time that night. I thought we would keep in touch,
- 26:48Speaker 11: but she has ghosted me. I know where she works.
- 26:51Speaker 11: Would I look desperate if I email her? What does
- 26:55Speaker 11: he think of one night?
- 26:56Speaker 7: I'm an email because I know where she works.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I'm down there.
- 27:03Speaker 7: I'm gonna look way mold than desperate, You sprong, I
- 27:08Speaker 7: look like a restraint and.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Right right, look out the word. Don't y'all the moment? Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: but she could be married in a relationship. Why are
- 27:25Speaker 1: you down the job?
- 27:26Speaker 2: I don't know who you're involved?
- 27:28Speaker 4: What?
- 27:29Speaker 7: I love you?
- 27:30Speaker 1: I love after one night? You stuck her?
- 27:35Speaker 4: I do.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Do look you know?
- 27:44Speaker 11: So her question is would he look desperate? So he's
- 27:49Speaker 11: looking very desperate, very thirsty.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Right, No, he's saying he wrote the letter.
- 27:54Speaker 11: Yeah, would he look desperate if he emailed her? But
- 27:57Speaker 11: you said, forget the email, go down to the job.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I'm down there, dog, So he's desperate yet?
- 28:04Speaker 1: Wow, all right.
- 28:08Speaker 4: Down there?
- 28:09Speaker 1: Because I thought one night Dan meant just that, just
- 28:13Speaker 1: one you're cool with what?
- 28:18Speaker 2: Well, we're in the same town though.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Syracuse, New York. So you can have a one night
- 28:24Speaker 1: stand with a person in the same town, right, what
- 28:26Speaker 1: do you think?
- 28:27Speaker 2: Yeah? But if it's good, though, it's gonna be two nights. Yeah.
- 28:32Speaker 1: What if she was married? You're blowing up her.
- 28:35Speaker 2: You have had a two night stand before.
- 28:41Speaker 1: Her relationship. He wants to find her. Zach is trying
- 28:45Speaker 1: to find this woman.
- 28:47Speaker 7: My Fadther had a bike with two kickstands on it.
- 28:50Speaker 7: He put one on each side of his bike.
- 28:53Speaker 4: So what does that mean?
- 28:55Speaker 2: Ain't nothing? Wrong with two?
- 29:00Speaker 1: All right, moving on last one.
- 29:04Speaker 11: This is from Grace and Shambly surprised me today, Sir Colo,
- 29:09Speaker 11: Grace and Shambly writes, my husband's uncle used to give
- 29:13Speaker 11: us a lot of money for Christmas. When he found
- 29:16Speaker 11: out that my husband had a mistress, he secretly gave
- 29:19Speaker 11: me the money every Christmas. After the uncle died, my
- 29:24Speaker 11: husband found out about it. He accused me of messing
- 29:27Speaker 11: with his uncle. He's a cheater, so how can he
- 29:30Speaker 11: be mad?
- 29:33Speaker 2: Well, that's how you're univers.
- 29:35Speaker 1: It right, right, that's how you reverse it.
- 29:38Speaker 2: You The best defense is a good offense.
- 29:43Speaker 11: So he was trying to get her off the fact
- 29:45Speaker 11: that she knew that he had a mistress, that he
- 29:48Speaker 11: has a mistress.
- 29:50Speaker 7: He was trying to get yeah to see, uh huh.
- 29:52Speaker 7: You know, if he was giving you this money, you
- 29:54Speaker 7: must must see. What the uncle was saying was I'm
- 29:57Speaker 7: giving the money to y'all, but since y'all now three,
- 30:00Speaker 7: I'm gonna just give.
- 30:01Speaker 4: It to you.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Then he died, the uncle died.
- 30:05Speaker 7: But what difference do it make if you wasn't seeing
- 30:07Speaker 7: the man's uncle, he can say whatever he want to say.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he definitely accused her of messing with his uncle.
- 30:14Speaker 7: No, he didn't want your mistress to have none of
- 30:17Speaker 7: the money. That's why he gave it all to me.
- 30:20Speaker 3: That's such a stretch, comes out all right, exactly, Thank you, Stelo.
- 30:28Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:29Speaker 11: have some entertainment news for you right after this. You're
- 30:33Speaker 11: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Lebron James is in
- 30:41Speaker 11: some hot water. He's facing backlash for his continents about
- 30:44Speaker 11: Memphis and Milwaukee. In a recent interview on YouTube the
- 30:48Speaker 11: YouTube show Bob Does Sports, Lebron was asked about traveling
- 30:52Speaker 11: in the NBA at the age of forty one and
- 30:55Speaker 11: as a long time star. Well, Lebron responded, quote a
- 30:58Speaker 11: random F bomb Tuesday in Milwaukee, staying at the F
- 31:03Speaker 11: bomb Hyatt at forty one years old. Do you think
- 31:06Speaker 11: I want to do that? Being in Memphis on a
- 31:08Speaker 11: random F bomb a word Thursday. I'm not the first
- 31:13Speaker 11: person to discuss this in the NBA. Well, you know,
- 31:18Speaker 11: people got mad, that's the end quote. People got mad,
- 31:20Speaker 11: especially from Memphis. They took issue with his comments, prompting
- 31:25Speaker 11: the mayor of Memphis, Mayor Paul Young, to respond. He says,
- 31:29Speaker 11: come to Memphis and roll around with me for a bit.
- 31:31Speaker 11: I'll show you some of the culture and powerful investment
- 31:35Speaker 11: opportunities in our city. Let's do something epic and one
- 31:38Speaker 11: of the largest majority black cities in the nation.
- 31:42Speaker 7: Well, sir, that's not what Lebrook talking what it was about, thankfully,
- 31:47Speaker 7: He's just talking about the hotel conditions and the facilities
- 31:50Speaker 7: that they play in. And everybody has been saying for
- 31:54Speaker 7: years in the league that Memphis h doesn't have enough
- 31:58Speaker 7: upgraded facility these for the professional players, you know, because
- 32:02Speaker 7: these guys look, they go to other they go to
- 32:05Speaker 7: other locker rooms, they see it. I think that's what
- 32:08Speaker 7: he was referring to in terms of there in Milwaukee.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Wasn't referring to the hotel. It was not being a
- 32:14Speaker 7: great city and don't have great culture. And of all
- 32:18Speaker 7: the athletes I've ever seen in my lifetime, I don't
- 32:24Speaker 7: know an athlete that does has done more for young
- 32:28Speaker 7: people and the culture that Lebron James.
- 32:31Speaker 2: No one, none.
- 32:33Speaker 11: Well, he did try to clarify his statements. Steve Lebron
- 32:37Speaker 11: said he wasn't speaking about the people in Memphis or Milwaukee,
- 32:42Speaker 11: but simply that these are two places he does not
- 32:45Speaker 11: enjoy playing in So getting back to what you're saying, Yeah.
- 32:49Speaker 2: That's all right.
- 32:50Speaker 7: He can stay at the Peabody. They got another hotel
- 32:52Speaker 7: there in Memphis that they opened up.
- 32:55Speaker 1: He stayed there once, right, Yeah, what a team?
- 33:01Speaker 2: Want to put them up at? You put out there
- 33:03Speaker 2: and you can wash them ducks. Come down now, I'll.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Tell you where y'all ought to stay at though. I
- 33:07Speaker 7: ought to stay at the Pyramide, at that vast pro
- 33:09Speaker 7: Shop hotel.
- 33:12Speaker 2: That's the world that I'm one.
- 33:16Speaker 7: You ought to stay at bron a Master suite overlooking
- 33:21Speaker 7: boat sales and usish and guilt with their swamp with
- 33:26Speaker 7: some cypress trees, isn't it?
- 33:28Speaker 1: Is he in the fishing at all? I don't know.
- 33:30Speaker 2: He is in the golf now he's pay golf now.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Oh okay, all right, well, moving on to other entertainment news.
- 33:39Speaker 11: This is out of our home station, Washington, d C
- 33:42Speaker 11: w h U R ninety six point three fm uh
- 33:48Speaker 11: we love them h professor at Howard University will offer
- 33:52Speaker 11: a course called the Cardi b Am I The Drama,
- 33:56Speaker 11: The Art, Production, Marketing and Cultural Impact of Hip Hop.
- 34:00Speaker 11: Professor Jasmin Young will teach the intersection of entertainment and business.
- 34:05Speaker 11: She's going to teach the course. It'll focus on every
- 34:09Speaker 11: aspect of Cardi B's rollout for her sophomore album. Young said,
- 34:14Speaker 11: Cardi B is a phenomenon. We're going to talk about
- 34:17Speaker 11: her rise and what makes her this amazing, global, iconic
- 34:20Speaker 11: person in the music business. The class is scheduled for
- 34:24Speaker 11: the fall semester. It'll be limited to only twenty four students. Now,
- 34:28Speaker 11: Steve back in, I guess a few years back, maybe
- 34:33Speaker 11: what four? Yeah, didn't you have a class at Georgia
- 34:38Speaker 11: State that was inspired by you?
- 34:40Speaker 1: Your life?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Yeah? I studied my career. How that go? Well?
- 34:44Speaker 7: I wasn't a stripper, so, you know, didn't have the impact.
- 34:48Speaker 7: She didn't have all the impact that card is just
- 34:51Speaker 7: gonna have. I wasn't stripping and.
- 34:57Speaker 1: It was about fifty but wait about naked?
- 35:00Speaker 3: What?
- 35:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 35:02Speaker 7: And I said, I don't look good naked. So all
- 35:06Speaker 7: that's had an influence on the number of people.
- 35:08Speaker 2: That's what.
- 35:09Speaker 7: That's why they limited the number of the Carti class
- 35:11Speaker 7: to twenty four people, because they're gonna have twenty four
- 35:13Speaker 7: hundred if why you know, Yeah, they had a little course,
- 35:20Speaker 7: so they had a little college.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Good thing on my career.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, did you like it? Did you like the course
- 35:26Speaker 1: of the career?
- 35:27Speaker 4: I was.
- 35:28Speaker 2: I actually learned something from the professor. She was really bright.
- 35:31Speaker 2: I forgot the lady's name.
- 35:32Speaker 1: My liverary professor, my library.
- 35:35Speaker 8: Yeah, you learned something about yourself self, Yeah, I mean
- 35:40Speaker 8: you value.
- 35:42Speaker 7: I actually did well in my negotiation after that. Oh,
- 35:47Speaker 7: that's why I was talking about earlier with Junior. Junior
- 35:49Speaker 7: asked me if there was anything I would did differently.
- 35:51Speaker 7: I just wish I had been more business acclimated earlier
- 35:56Speaker 7: than I am like I am today. It would have
- 36:01Speaker 7: served me well to be more tuned into the business aspect.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Yeah, less trusting of people.
- 36:09Speaker 1: All right, Well, moving on.
- 36:12Speaker 11: As we all know, President Trump has fired another loyalist,
- 36:14Speaker 11: Attorney General, Pam Bondi, of course, was fired last Thursday,
- 36:19Speaker 11: and just a couple of weeks ago, he fired Christy
- 36:21Speaker 11: nom the former head of the Department of Homeland Security. Now,
- 36:24Speaker 11: according to Time magazine, the President was frustrated at ag
- 36:28Speaker 11: Bondy on how she handled the Epstein files. Sources in
- 36:32Speaker 11: Washington are saying, no amount of loyalty will save you
- 36:36Speaker 11: from being fired by Trump.
- 36:38Speaker 7: Well, if they ever unredact those Epstein files. If they
- 36:43Speaker 7: ever just put him out there the way they are,
- 36:46Speaker 7: Trump gonna have to fire everybody because he gonna be gone.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I don't think they're going to do that, but yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: you're right.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Have you redacted three thousand pages?
- 37:00Speaker 7: Do you know how many times Donald Trump's name is
- 37:03Speaker 7: mentioned on those Epstein foul.
- 37:05Speaker 1: A thirty eight thous nothing of it?
- 37:07Speaker 2: Yeah, man, come on, y'all stop.
- 37:10Speaker 11: All right, there you go, all right, coming up at
- 37:13Speaker 11: twenty minutes after the hour, still trending women's college basketball.
- 37:18Speaker 11: We write at dawn and we'll talk about that right
- 37:20Speaker 11: after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:29Speaker 3: I'm curious, do you feel a mid morning slump and
- 37:32Speaker 3: require a little boost.
- 37:33Speaker 1: To get you back on track. That's where the new
- 37:35Speaker 1: Starbucks Energy Refreshers come in.
- 37:38Speaker 3: If you already love Starbucks refreshers, these have that same bright,
- 37:42Speaker 3: fruity taste now with an added boost of caffeine. Your
- 37:45Speaker 3: favorite flavor is like pink drink for that perfect midday reset,
- 37:49Speaker 3: Or try something new like mango strawberry Energy Refresher drink.
- 37:53Speaker 3: So when a little lift sounds good today, try the
- 37:56Speaker 3: new Energy Refresher at Starbucks or order one right now
- 38:00Speaker 3: on the Starbucks Act.
- 38:02Speaker 11: Okay, so we all know this past Sunday, UCLA beat
- 38:05Speaker 11: South Carolina in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, and the
- 38:09Speaker 11: game Cocks head coach Don Staley, we love her handled
- 38:13Speaker 11: her team's loss with great sportsmanship. However, college basketball fans
- 38:17Speaker 11: are still upset at Yukon's head coach Gino Urema's tantrum
- 38:22Speaker 11: and disrespect on how he handles his team's lost his
- 38:27Speaker 11: loss to UH South Carolina on Friday night. Black women
- 38:31Speaker 11: deal with racism, microaggressions, hostility, and bullying in their workplace
- 38:35Speaker 11: time and time again. After much backlash, Yukon's coach Gino
- 38:40Speaker 11: did issue a written apology, but didn't mention Staley's name
- 38:44Speaker 11: at all.
- 38:45Speaker 1: So what do you guys think about that junior in sports?
- 38:50Speaker 9: Yeah, lost to a black woman. Don't know how to
- 38:53Speaker 9: take that.
- 38:55Speaker 10: All the success you've had at Yukon now all of
- 38:57Speaker 10: a sudden, when you lose, it's your turn, you don't
- 38:59Speaker 10: know how to hand And it was a black woman
- 39:01Speaker 10: that did it, that's to be honest.
- 39:02Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, I like that ju just petty, just steady
- 39:07Speaker 11: and nasty with it too. What Tommy Don had.
- 39:11Speaker 2: A and I said it.
- 39:12Speaker 8: How can I say Don had an N word moment?
- 39:17Speaker 8: He had an N word moment. And when you are
- 39:20Speaker 8: having an N word moment, even the N word that
- 39:23Speaker 8: having the moment, don't know that it's about to be
- 39:25Speaker 8: an N word moment.
- 39:26Speaker 2: He had an N word moment and it wasn't. It wasn't.
- 39:30Speaker 8: But about three seconds after that, all you heard it
- 39:32Speaker 8: was I whooped, gane, I sweart god, I whooped g
- 39:36Speaker 8: Philly came out.
- 39:38Speaker 9: It came all the way, she said about ten times.
- 39:41Speaker 9: She was serious.
- 39:42Speaker 8: He said it about Jean got me twisted up in him.
- 39:46Speaker 8: She was right there in the middle of the N
- 39:48Speaker 8: word moment. Yeah, it happened.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Your thoughts, I don't.
- 39:54Speaker 7: I don't care what he does. You know, I'm not surprised.
- 40:00Speaker 7: Is it anything we have? This is we have a
- 40:03Speaker 7: president named Donald Trump. I don't know how we shocked
- 40:06Speaker 7: at what. Geno didn't want to shake nobody's hand. I'm
- 40:09Speaker 7: I'm through being shocked at them. It's just it's it's
- 40:13Speaker 7: it's pathetic what we are right now as a country,
- 40:17Speaker 7: what our politics has become, how we've allowed one man
- 40:21Speaker 7: to hijack democracy and everything. And I know this not
- 40:24Speaker 7: the Don Staley uh question, or or or or topic,
- 40:28Speaker 7: but it just leads me back to this is what
- 40:31Speaker 7: we are now.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I think we've changed what decency is.
- 40:36Speaker 7: Yeah, I think we've changed it because now we we
- 40:44Speaker 7: just we've we've accepted so many things as normal that
- 40:49Speaker 7: there's no checking balance for anything anymore.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Look at his last tweet.
- 40:53Speaker 7: He's dropped the F bomb on the tweet, call him
- 40:58Speaker 7: bastards in the tweet, and then a see said all
- 41:00Speaker 7: praise our life.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Hey man, that ain't how you do this exact under all.
- 41:09Speaker 11: Right, coming out at the top of the hour, forgiveness
- 41:14Speaker 11: is good for you. I will talk about it right
- 41:17Speaker 11: after this. You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. A new
- 41:26Speaker 11: study published in the Nature Portfolio Journal on Mental Health
- 41:30Speaker 11: Research suggests that forgiveness may be one helpful ingredient in
- 41:35Speaker 11: well being. We talk about forgiveness a lot on this show,
- 41:38Speaker 11: and according to John Hopkins Medical Medicine dot Com, forgiveness
- 41:42Speaker 11: is not just about saying the words. It's about making
- 41:45Speaker 11: the conscious decision to let go of negative feelings where
- 41:49Speaker 11: the person deserves it or not. Forgiveness calms your stress
- 41:52Speaker 11: levels and it does a lot for you, the forgiver.
- 41:56Speaker 11: So here's some ways you can help with forgiveness. See
- 41:59Speaker 11: if you agree with these guys. If you don't feel
- 42:02Speaker 11: you can ever talk to the person who did you wrong,
- 42:05Speaker 11: maybe right about it in your journal.
- 42:07Speaker 1: It may help your decision to forget you.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Guys, You guys, what if I'm writing in my journal.
- 42:16Speaker 2: What if I'm saying.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Whatever your feelings are, like you do in journal?
- 42:23Speaker 8: I ain't got no journal, and I ain't gonna buy
- 42:25Speaker 8: no journal. Behind this, dude, I don't kidding nothing to
- 42:27Speaker 8: buy no more. I'm down in my office, sitting there
- 42:31Speaker 8: writing by him.
- 42:32Speaker 11: It's just a suggestion, okay, all right, all right, maybe
- 42:41Speaker 11: this one, maybe this one. Don't expect an apology from
- 42:45Speaker 11: that person. That way you won't be disappointed.
- 42:48Speaker 1: What do you think about that? But why you say
- 42:51Speaker 1: it like that?
- 42:52Speaker 2: Is it right up there when you can get it?
- 42:54Speaker 2: It's right up there with.
- 42:57Speaker 1: All right, here's the last one.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Maybe you don't have guys to me ever, but I've
- 43:01Speaker 2: been I see you though.
- 43:02Speaker 11: Okay, because on site, maybe you guys have some suggestions
- 43:07Speaker 11: of your own.
- 43:08Speaker 1: I'll give you the last one.
- 43:10Speaker 11: Choose to offer empathy towards that person who hurts you
- 43:13Speaker 11: let them know.
- 43:14Speaker 1: You know, I know how you feel, but you Yeah, No, I.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Ain't thought about how they feel about how I feel.
- 43:26Speaker 9: That's what I don't think I need to know how
- 43:27Speaker 9: I feel.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Would you guys handle this? How would you guys handle
- 43:31Speaker 1: forget on site?
- 43:35Speaker 9: Asking questions?
- 43:37Speaker 1: Is ju here till I see you?
- 43:40Speaker 7: Right?
- 43:43Speaker 2: We have unfinished business?
- 43:47Speaker 1: Now, you guys know forgiveness is for you the person.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Understand that's never worked out? Story like that. But okay,
- 43:54Speaker 2: I understand that.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Have you tried it, jourdan, sir, I'm not gonna sit
- 44:01Speaker 1: there in the rights. Okay, all right, Okay, cross that
- 44:04Speaker 1: one out.
- 44:04Speaker 12: It's just a.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Somebody has worked out for me, and it has worked.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Out because it's a what you it helps your stress level.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Why did you decide to forgive that person that who
- 44:17Speaker 1: did you wrong? Well?
- 44:18Speaker 7: The first person I decided because he sent some flowers
- 44:22Speaker 7: to my mom's funeral and talked about how great she was.
- 44:26Speaker 7: He knew when we grew up together. So I forgave
- 44:28Speaker 7: him because at that point in time he didn't even
- 44:31Speaker 7: matter to me. It is the most difficult time, so
- 44:35Speaker 7: I decided then it didn't matter. So I'll compare it
- 44:38Speaker 7: to that, so it didn't mean nothing. Then, uh for
- 44:42Speaker 7: this other person, I guess somebody else gonna have to die.
- 44:45Speaker 2: That's the only thing. What it's gonna look like, it's
- 44:51Speaker 2: gonna need another major death.
- 44:54Speaker 9: To get you there.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Seemed to seem like that what coming down?
- 45:00Speaker 1: It's about forgiveness?
- 45:01Speaker 11: Hello, you want to probably, well, let me ask it
- 45:05Speaker 11: this way. Don't you want to be forgiven when you
- 45:09Speaker 11: mess up?
- 45:11Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:12Speaker 1: Don't you want the other person to forgive you?
- 45:14Speaker 2: But what to save you?
- 45:15Speaker 1: I mean, we're all human, we make mistakes, dakes, we
- 45:18Speaker 1: make mistakes. Yeah, so don't you want to be forgiven?
- 45:22Speaker 2: Yes?
- 45:22Speaker 1: Yes, okay, so the same.
- 45:25Speaker 2: But I ask for forgiveness though.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Oh so it's different if they ask you for forgiveness, let.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Me man, I give it to you right away, bro.
- 45:35Speaker 7: But if you walk around you steady, and you steady
- 45:37Speaker 7: doing something to me, steady, you just out there, steady talking, steady,
- 45:42Speaker 7: running your mouth, steady line, it's on site.
- 45:47Speaker 2: We're not butt whoop no, steady but whoop. Yes, he's right, No,
- 45:51Speaker 2: I do it.
- 45:53Speaker 9: Know I did it already, So you know what are
- 45:55Speaker 9: you talking to? Put my hands of all? I couldn't
- 45:57Speaker 9: forgive that was not forgiven.
- 46:00Speaker 1: We must learn to forgive. We talk about it all
- 46:03Speaker 1: the time.
- 46:03Speaker 11: Guys.
- 46:06Speaker 2: After the on site, you know after.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Coming up next it is a nephew and the prank
- 46:11Speaker 1: phone call right after.
- 46:12Speaker 2: See don't you bring your uncle up?
- 46:13Speaker 11: No, mo, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:24Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour. Right about
- 46:26Speaker 11: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:30Speaker 11: the subject is this is gross but I need help.
- 46:34Speaker 11: We'll get into that find out what that's all about.
- 46:36Speaker 11: That grossness is. Yeah, but right now the nephew is here.
- 46:41Speaker 11: You hear them with today's prank phone call.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Nephew, what you got for us?

- 47:23Speaker 7: I get one move and I turned. Then they go
- 47:26Speaker 7: freestyle with it and I don't know what we're doing.
- 47:28Speaker 7: Then I went low and I couldn't come back up
- 47:30Speaker 7: my shoulders. Ribbon lit bit didn't die.
- 47:32Speaker 8: I'm good for about thirty seconds. I'm trying to last
- 47:36Speaker 8: for about a minute in a hand. So I got
- 47:38Speaker 8: some time, I got some work. Well, I'll tell you
- 47:40Speaker 8: what you if you send me you hoppy with the

- 48:27Speaker 12: Yeah, this is Denise.
- 48:29Speaker 4: Hi, Denise, this is Tony. I'm calling security. I've got
- 48:34Speaker 4: an alarm that we've got an alarm that's gone off
- 48:36Speaker 4: on you guys. Property is are you guys? We're just
- 48:39Speaker 4: checking before we send authorities out. Is everything okay? Then
- 48:42Speaker 4: maybe someone tripped the alarm.
- 48:44Speaker 12: Oh my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm at work
- 48:48Speaker 12: right now. I'm not home.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Okay. Do you have a tet or dog or anything
- 48:52Speaker 4: that could actually trip the alarm?
- 48:55Speaker 12: No, No, it's that's strange. It never goes off like that.
- 48:59Speaker 12: I'm nervous.
- 49:00Speaker 4: Okay, give me a second. We've got a call into
- 49:02Speaker 4: the neighborhood security that actually are en route to the property,
- 49:06Speaker 4: and they were going to give us some information before
- 49:10Speaker 4: we actually sent the uh sent the police officers out,
- 49:13Speaker 4: unless you would like for me to send them out now.
- 49:15Speaker 12: But I yeah, I feel like you should send the police.
- 49:17Speaker 12: I mean, if I'm not home and nobody's home and
- 49:20Speaker 12: my alarm's going off and it never goes off that,
- 49:24Speaker 12: I'm worried.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Okay, hang on one second, this is neighborhood security calling that.
- 49:28Speaker 4: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you. Okay, niece,
- 49:32Speaker 4: are you there?
- 49:33Speaker 12: Yes, yes, yes, I'm here.
- 49:34Speaker 4: Great, they have they're out there at the property the
- 49:37Speaker 4: neighborhood security. Do you there is a black guy there
- 49:43Speaker 4: is on your premise? Are you familiar with who that
- 49:46Speaker 4: might be?
- 49:47Speaker 12: Well, I mean, my husband's black, but he should be
- 49:50Speaker 12: at work right now. Okay, okay, and he probably would
- 49:55Speaker 12: have texted me if you know the alarm was going off.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I mean, do you have any other black
- 50:00Speaker 4: male friends?
- 50:02Speaker 12: Excuse me?
- 50:04Speaker 4: Do you might have any other Do you have any
- 50:06Speaker 4: other black male friends that might be at the house.
- 50:10Speaker 12: I mean, yeah, it's a very weird question. I mean
- 50:14Speaker 12: I have black friends, yes, but I don't think they
- 50:16Speaker 12: would be in my house.
- 50:18Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I mean should we just assume that this
- 50:21Speaker 4: is your husband? What do you think? I I mean,
- 50:24Speaker 4: what would you like to me?
- 50:25Speaker 12: Your husbands at work? I mean, how tall is this person?
- 50:30Speaker 4: My husband's sixty three? Hold on one guy, Hold on
- 50:33Speaker 4: one second. Let me go back to the story from
- 50:35Speaker 4: the netbook. Hanging on one second.
- 50:37Speaker 12: Yeah, no, somebody's in my LUN's going off.
- 50:41Speaker 4: I don't know, I mean, okay, Denise, yes, okay, they have.
- 50:47Speaker 4: The black guy that they're looking at is about five
- 50:49Speaker 4: foot ten maybe late twenties. How old is your husband?
- 50:54Speaker 12: No, my husband is I just told you that my
- 50:59Speaker 12: husband's not there. He would have texted me or called
- 51:02Speaker 12: me and told me that he accidentally set the alarm off.
- 51:05Speaker 12: And I'm actually going to text him. I mean, this
- 51:07Speaker 12: is crazy. I should probably call him.
- 51:10Speaker 4: Okay, you realize, you do realize if we send the
- 51:13Speaker 4: authorities out and this is a false call, that you're
- 51:16Speaker 4: going to get charged for that. You do know that, right,
- 51:18Speaker 4: a false call.
- 51:19Speaker 12: You just said somebody's in my house and it's not
- 51:22Speaker 12: me or my husband, so you shouldn't be that.
- 51:26Speaker 4: You're saying your husband's black, and then there's a black
- 51:29Speaker 4: guy there. I mean they probably know each other, right,
- 51:31Speaker 4: Are you kidding me?
- 51:34Speaker 12: What kind of question is that?
- 51:37Speaker 4: Why?
- 51:37Speaker 12: Because they're both black?
- 51:38Speaker 4: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 51:40Speaker 4: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 51:43Speaker 4: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 51:45Speaker 4: the black guy or he's a relative or something. I mean,
- 51:48Speaker 4: do they I mean, you know, do you want to
- 51:50Speaker 4: call yourn?
- 51:52Speaker 2: Do you think like this.
- 51:55Speaker 12: Is really offensive? And I don't understand if I'm telling
- 51:59Speaker 12: you that I don't know who the person is in
- 52:01Speaker 12: my house. That means send the police. I mean, this
- 52:05Speaker 12: is ridiculous. He my black back.
- 52:08Speaker 4: They're calling back neighborhoods. Just hold on one second. Neighborhood
- 52:13Speaker 4: security is calling back here.
- 52:15Speaker 12: Oh my god, this is ridiculous.
- 52:21Speaker 4: Okay, Denise, Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling
- 52:25Speaker 4: me that this guy just drove out of the garage
- 52:28Speaker 4: and a white pickup. Do you do you guys have
- 52:30Speaker 4: a white pickup? Yes, we do. So this guy just
- 52:35Speaker 4: pulled out of your your your garage and a white pickup.
- 52:39Speaker 12: Well, I have my car at work and my husband
- 52:41Speaker 12: has his car that's like the truck that he uses
- 52:44Speaker 12: on the weekends for like construction and stuff. So that
- 52:48Speaker 12: means somebody just stole our car. I can't believe this
- 52:51Speaker 12: is happening. You are watching somebody in my house and
- 52:54Speaker 12: you you basically watch them steal my truck.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Well, well, I'm going to go ahead and now and
- 53:00Speaker 4: you get the police to go over. Okay, why are
- 53:03Speaker 4: you going to send them? Now?
- 53:04Speaker 12: He probably took all my in my house. I mean,
- 53:08Speaker 12: the police get there, there's not gonna be anything left
- 53:09Speaker 12: in my house. Probably the back of the truck.
- 53:12Speaker 4: I mean, I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying
- 53:14Speaker 4: to help you out here.
- 53:16Speaker 12: That is going to do me now, I mean the
- 53:18Speaker 12: whole time you've been talking to me, he's been cleaning
- 53:21Speaker 12: up my house out and stealing.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Well, how did you get in your house? I don't know.
- 53:27Speaker 4: I don't know this guy. I was asking you and
- 53:33Speaker 4: how could somebody get your house? Did you leave something open?
- 53:36Speaker 2: What? What did you go?
- 53:38Speaker 12: Okay, listen, you would know because I wouldn't have been
- 53:42Speaker 12: able to set my alarm this morning. If something was opened,
- 53:45Speaker 12: it would beef and it wouldn't let me set the alarm.
- 53:48Speaker 12: And the fact that you're interrogating me when somebody's robbing
- 53:51Speaker 12: my house.
- 53:53Speaker 1: You need to do your job.
- 53:54Speaker 6: I need to call my spen.
- 53:56Speaker 12: You're wasting my time. I mean, by the time the
- 53:58Speaker 12: police get there, it's gonna me tomorrow.
- 54:01Speaker 4: So you're gonna so you're gonna call Daryl now, I'm sorry,
- 54:05Speaker 4: you're gonna call Daryl?
- 54:06Speaker 12: Now, how does you know my husband's name?
- 54:14Speaker 4: This is nephew. Tell me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 56:55Speaker 11: single man, and I might be single for the rest
- 56:57Speaker 11: of my life. I live in a small city and
- 57:00Speaker 11: there's a nasty rumor out about me. It actually it's
- 57:03Speaker 11: actually not a rumor, but I always say it's alive
- 57:07Speaker 11: when people bring it up to me. It's beyond nasty
- 57:10Speaker 11: and I wish I could move out of the country.
- 57:12Speaker 11: I was dating a woman that is a thirty year
- 57:15Speaker 11: old virgin. She is prim and proper and soft spoken.
- 57:19Speaker 11: She approached me at a party and said she had
- 57:21Speaker 11: a crush on me for a while. That was five
- 57:24Speaker 11: months months ago, and we saw each other every day
- 57:27Speaker 11: after we met. I even got her comfortable enough to
- 57:30Speaker 11: have sex with me, but it didn't happen. On the
- 57:34Speaker 11: morning of the day we planned to have sex, my
- 57:36Speaker 11: stomach was killing me. I stayed home all day to
- 57:40Speaker 11: get myself done.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Got it to go home. I have got to go away.
- 57:44Speaker 1: Listen listen.
- 57:46Speaker 11: On the morning of the day we planned to have sex,
- 57:48Speaker 11: my stomach was killing me. I stayed home all day
- 57:52Speaker 11: to get myself together. Before she came over, my stomach
- 57:56Speaker 11: was growling still, but I felt fine. I told her
- 57:59Speaker 11: I wasn't hungry, and I watched her eat. I made
- 58:03Speaker 11: Martini's and we watched a movie, then went to bed.
- 58:06Speaker 11: I had the fireplace screen on my TV and I
- 58:09Speaker 11: had the ceiling fan on low to set the mood.
- 58:12Speaker 1: She assured me that she was ready for me to
- 58:15Speaker 1: be her first.
- 58:16Speaker 11: We were kissing and cuddling, but then I felt a
- 58:20Speaker 11: pain in my abdomen and I panicked. I couldn't hold it.
- 58:25Speaker 11: It was gas, loud and long gas. It was so awful.
- 58:31Speaker 11: She pushed me away and got up and went and
- 58:34Speaker 11: took a shower because she said the air got on
- 58:37Speaker 11: her leg. She left after her shower, and she broke
- 58:40Speaker 11: up with me two days later. We've talked a few
- 58:43Speaker 11: times since it happened, and she said I ruined a
- 58:46Speaker 11: really special night for her.
- 58:48Speaker 1: She said I should have told her that.
- 58:50Speaker 2: I was sick.
- 58:51Speaker 11: I had no way of knowing that would happen. She
- 58:54Speaker 11: barely takes my calls now, and she told her friends
- 58:57Speaker 11: what happened. I was hoping that we could move on
- 58:59Speaker 11: past this. Should I give up on her?
- 59:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you should. It's over. But your bad because you
- 59:07Speaker 1: took a chance, you gambled, and you blew it. Period.
- 59:10Speaker 11: In this case, you should not have trusted your gut. Okay,
- 59:14Speaker 11: people say I trust my gut, and you shouldn't have
- 59:16Speaker 11: trusted your gut this time. Even though flatulence is a
- 59:20Speaker 11: natural body function and all that it happens to everyone.
- 59:25Speaker 11: That it should just be between you and God. Okay,
- 59:28Speaker 11: you said she was prim and proper, so you should
- 59:31Speaker 11: have expected her to react like that. You shouldn't have
- 59:34Speaker 11: waited until you felt better to be with her. You
- 59:36Speaker 11: should have It's not the worst.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Thing in the world.
- 59:39Speaker 11: It doesn't mean you're a bad person or a nasty
- 59:41Speaker 11: person even, but that is something you can't unsee.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Or you're gonna remember this forever.
- 59:48Speaker 11: I don't understand how you could have gotten up and
- 59:51Speaker 11: how come you couldn't have ran to the bathroom or something.
- 59:55Speaker 1: I mean, I get it.
- 59:57Speaker 11: You know this was pretty bad. I would want to
- 1:00:00Speaker 11: move to another country too. So what have we learned
- 1:00:03Speaker 11: from this funky and very unpleasant experience? That sexy does
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: not go with gas and boiling stomachs and all that.
- 1:00:11Speaker 11: It does not go together. All right, So if you're
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: not feeling well, you got to postpone the date. Yeah,

- 1:00:30Speaker 7: But here a thirty two year old single man, and
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: I might be single the rest of my life. Why
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: because I live in a small city and there's a
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: nasty room out about me, and it's well, it's actually
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: not a rumor, but always say it's a lie when
- 1:00:48Speaker 7: people bring it up to me. It's beyond nasty. And
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: I wish I could move out the country. Boy to

- 1:01:03Speaker 7: If getting stuff said about you caused you to move
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: out the country, I wouldn't have nowhere to live by now.

- 1:11:45Speaker 9: exciting game. I mean the halftime to score was just
- 1:11:48Speaker 9: thirty three to twenty nine at halftime.
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: One of them old games, just like playing North Carolina
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: with that folk corner offense they had.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: I was just I'm glad Michigan won, but just a
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: boring game. He wasn't exciting.
- 1:12:01Speaker 9: I was folding clothes at one point in time. I
- 1:12:02Speaker 9: wouldn't even watching lunch. You had other stuff to do.
- 1:12:07Speaker 9: I paid a couple of bills.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I came back.
- 1:12:09Speaker 9: It was just the same score it was. It was
- 1:12:11Speaker 9: minutes with anybody's scoring. It was minutes. You ain't lying.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: Steve said, laundry.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: He was doing launch. It was folding clothes.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Regular people do laundry.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: He walks the little dog. He do laundry.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: All that why he can't do laundry?
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: He wear what's the problem.
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: But see the hostility that comes with your questions. This
- 1:12:39Speaker 7: was concerning to me.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: But why can't you want.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: He wear clothes?
- 1:12:47Speaker 11: Them up?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Yeah, wash your clothes also.
- 1:12:50Speaker 9: Uncle, let's talk about saying. Angel Reese is coming to
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: the A t L. She's been traded.
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: Traded to the Atlanta Dream from the Chicago Sky for
- 1:12:59Speaker 10: two first round picks. Man, these game about to be
- 1:13:01Speaker 10: sold out. I'm telling you right, we're all going the
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: whole season, the whole seat. We get seasoned tickets just
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: went up. We got angels down. You know, about to
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: get nice around here. Come, we should go to a
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: dream game. You've been to a dream game?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Yeah? I used to go to w n B A
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: all the time and it was in the LA the
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: spark did.
- 1:13:21Speaker 9: Just go ahead and go to the first game. Me
- 1:13:23Speaker 9: and you after my tree, and we're gonna be sitting
- 1:13:25Speaker 9: up kind of high high.
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: Keep it one hundred you gotta you know you just
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: this morning you fold and closed. Now we gotta go
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: to gates, sit up high. That's too much regular.

- 1:13:42Speaker 2: I'm not going sitting up. How support How she gonna
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: know I'm supporting.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: Thank you, Junior.
- 1:13:49Speaker 11: Coming up at the top of the hour, a woman
- 1:13:51Speaker 11: on social media needs some advice.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Do we owe her that information?
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: Is the question.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: Steve, you came to see your age.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: You're listening to.
- 1:14:04Speaker 11: The Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is from Elisa on
- 1:14:11Speaker 11: Steve Harvey FM. Melisa's my husband and I recently had
- 1:14:14Speaker 11: twin girls and the first twenty four hours after delivery
- 1:14:18Speaker 11: were really scary, with some unexpected complications for both me
- 1:14:22Speaker 11: and the babies. We made the decision not to tell
- 1:14:25Speaker 11: anyone until we had a better sense of what was
- 1:14:28Speaker 11: going on because we didn't want to panic our families unnecessarily. Thankfully,
- 1:14:34Speaker 11: everything turned out okay, but now my mother in law
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: is upset that we kept her in the dark and
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: says she feels shut out. Since then, she's been distant
- 1:14:43Speaker 11: and has made it clear she's not interested in helping
- 1:14:46Speaker 11: out with the babies the way she originally offered. I
- 1:14:49Speaker 11: understand why she might be hurt, but we were just
- 1:14:52Speaker 11: trying to manage a stressful situation the best way we could.
- 1:14:56Speaker 11: Were we wrong not to tell her in the moment
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: that her question.
- 1:15:00Speaker 7: No, well if you told, if you told your mother
- 1:15:06Speaker 7: and didn't tell her, she gonna feel some kind of
- 1:15:09Speaker 7: way because people do that.
- 1:15:11Speaker 11: You know, Yeah, she gonna feel some kind of way.
- 1:15:13Speaker 11: But she gonna get over you know, she's gonna get
- 1:15:17Speaker 11: over it and help out with the babies.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Because she doesn't.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: She don't. That's stupid reason not to be the grandmother
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: that you are. That's a pretty dub reaon.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it really is.
- 1:15:27Speaker 11: Come on, grandma, come she had complications twin giving birth
- 1:15:32Speaker 11: a complication?
- 1:15:33Speaker 7: What about Oh my god, I wish you had told me.
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: I could have tried to help. Now we don't want
- 1:15:37Speaker 7: nobody to penny.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: And they had to wait till they were in the clear. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: it was going whatever.
- 1:15:48Speaker 7: Everybody want to be more important than they really are.
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: Good he mercy, you ain't had no baby in here,
- 1:15:53Speaker 7: and you wasn't in here with me?
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: What you won't be to tell you?
- 1:15:57Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:15:58Speaker 11: Come on, grandmother, come on now all right now? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:05Speaker 11: all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: This is from Sharita on Steve HARVFM. Charita says, I
- 1:16:11Speaker 11: manage a small team and someone who recently joined a
- 1:16:15Speaker 11: different team in our office, keeps reaching out to offer
- 1:16:18Speaker 11: help in ways that come across more condescending than supportive.
- 1:16:23Speaker 11: I'm a competent leader, not a damsel in distress. I
- 1:16:27Speaker 11: neither want nor need this person's help, and I'm it's
- 1:16:30Speaker 11: starting to get under my skin. Maybe he's legitimately trying
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: to be helpful, but I don't trust him. I want
- 1:16:37Speaker 11: to be abundantly clear that he needs to stay in
- 1:16:40Speaker 11: his lane. How do I check him in a professional
- 1:16:43Speaker 11: way without coming off as rude or defensive?
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: Wow?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Just whispering, I got, she said, professional way?
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: Well quiet as the professional man.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Yeah, she doesn't want to be rude, she was, doesn't
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: want to look like.
- 1:17:13Speaker 4: That.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Don't work there.
- 1:17:14Speaker 7: Okay, see y'all, y'all, y'all got these people down at
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: your job. You want to get up off your back
- 1:17:18Speaker 7: and off your case. But then y'all want to do
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: a professional that ain't have to work and word moment.
- 1:17:25Speaker 11: I told you, Okay, what if Tommy, what if Steve
- 1:17:30Speaker 11: was you know, you got to promote, Steve was in
- 1:17:32Speaker 11: there just messing with you all the time.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: What would you do?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Your uncle?
- 1:17:39Speaker 4: You know that.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: That's not professional.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: I know she wasn't. What have you seen me?
- 1:17:45Speaker 7: And I'm a better cussing than Tommy though, I'm a
- 1:17:48Speaker 7: much better cussing in town.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: Really, I thought you both were because more he got
- 1:17:54Speaker 8: more combinations than I got.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: I had to cuss more. Man, I'm gonna hurd it.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: So this a cuss off, Yeah, thank you? Down to
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: a cuts off. Basically, let's let's do it versus.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: You stay out this.
- 1:18:15Speaker 11: Wow?
- 1:18:16Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: So that's how it would be. Okay, So you're saying,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm not worried about hr. Y're not worried about HRR.
- 1:18:28Speaker 11: Junior.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: What were you going to say?
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: My age, my hr HR in my company staying for he? Right?
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Does it?
- 1:18:40Speaker 11: Really?
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: I had it?
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: So yeah, a lot of nepotism going on there.
- 1:18:46Speaker 11: All right, guys, I we'll have more of the Steve

- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Non starter?
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: I don't want to be on that hockey at all?
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Can't you might get your teeth knocked out.
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: I'm a I'm anna fall and bust them out myself.

- 1:21:59Speaker 1: All right?

- 1:22:04Speaker 11: a full tank of gas?
- 1:22:07Speaker 9: Oh yeah, right now, yeah.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Steve, your phone charged? Your guess? Come
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: on a lot of cars? Yeah, you got a lot
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: of cars and trucks and stuff.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: You've seen them empty, so I don't really know what
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: that is.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:22:33Speaker 11: Would you rather be asked the same questions over and
- 1:22:36Speaker 11: over again or never be spoken to again?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: My wife?
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: Do both of them?
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: Both?
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: You will both.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: Ask me the same thing over and over and spoke
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: in a while.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Yes, because we don't be listening. We asked you something.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: We don't care.
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Man, Just add any same question over.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Okay, you're gonna do it anyway, man, she's gonna do it.
- 1:23:04Speaker 9: She did it this morning already.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: Oh, ask you the same thing over and over?
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: What she has?
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: What's okay?
- 1:23:13Speaker 9: Three times this morning? Okay?

- 1:23:20Speaker 7: We're gonna be in the sun. See y'all gonna be
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: sitting up here in therapy in a minute.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: Keep on.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: He could easily say I don't want to answer that. Okay,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: that's an option too.
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: That's junior you talking to all right?
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Would you rather only whisper only whisper or shout? Which
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: one whisper? I'd rather let me here, let me hear.

- 1:23:52Speaker 2: Listen God, he is good. He a kid. He has
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: done it again. Only he can create a new day
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: all the time. Hey, Steve Harvey, welcome to what June
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: give me? Jackie? I got one more thing to say.
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: Thank you. If you're listening, you just got preak my nephew. Come, huh.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Should Junior do this though? Should you?
- 1:24:22Speaker 12: Sir?
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Should Jr? Whisper?
- 1:24:26Speaker 5: Morning?
- 1:24:26Speaker 9: Everybuddy?
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: That is to day rounded which you're rather that's all crazy?
- 1:24:33Speaker 11: Coming up next our last break of the day, and
- 1:24:35Speaker 11: we'll close out the show with the one and only
- 1:24:37Speaker 11: Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Do you ever notice your floor still look dirty even
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops sot for
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: power mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Even and hard to reach places like behind the toilet.
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: So now micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:25:09Speaker 3: more dirty floors. Try to swear for power, mom, love
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: it or your money back.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are last break of the
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: day on this Tuesday. It's been a great day. Thank
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: you for listening as always, and Steve, you have the floor.
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: Hey, you know what I was just this.
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: I'm not even upset about this. I just have a
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: couple of questions for the Congress and the Senate. How
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: long are you all going to allow what's happening to
- 1:25:40Speaker 7: continue to happen? How long are you all going to
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: sit there in your elected positions knowing that this man
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: is wrong and go along with it. I was watching
- 1:25:52Speaker 7: a TV commercial lother day. There's a guy running for
- 1:25:56Speaker 7: Attorney General of Georgia, and he was saying, I stand
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: with Trump. I fought against the stolen election in Georgia.
- 1:26:08Speaker 7: I fought Fanny Lewis, Fanny made what's.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Her name, Fannie Willis.
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: I fought Fannie Willis against the stolen election that happened
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: in Georgia. And then they showed a clip of Donald
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: Trump congratulating him and thanking him.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Hey, man, are y'all for real? You all know that's
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: a lie. It was a lie when he told it
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: it was a lie.
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: When he took it to court to get it overturned,
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: every judge told you that was a lie. And you
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: all have set up in here and let this man
- 1:26:44Speaker 7: tell you the same thing he told Doug Christie's wife
- 1:26:48Speaker 7: when she invited him up to dinner because he didn't
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: want to have dinner loan and he invited Doug Christie
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: up to his house to have dinner. And he told
- 1:26:55Speaker 7: Doug Christie's wife, he said, do you know something, if
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: you say something that's not true and you keep saying it,
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: it becomes the truth. And deug Christy was sitting there going,
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: what you can't do that? Well, guess what. That's what
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: Donald Trump does repeatedly. But my question to the Congress
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: and the Senate is you know this is what he's doing,
- 1:27:20Speaker 7: and you're going along with it. You know, I'm amazed
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: at y'all. I'm just talking to the people who we've
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: elected as officials. You all sit up in here and
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: you swear by that constitution of y'all's like it's some
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: righteous piece of paper that your slave on in full
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: bar and forbearing fathers wrote, and y'all act like it's
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: just this piece of document that's so precious. How long
- 1:27:45Speaker 7: does he get How long does he get to hijack
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: that thing? How long does he gelt do everything that
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: that constitution says you're not supposed to do? How long
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: are y'all gonna sit around and let him negotiate with
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: our children's lives, with other countries' lives and it has
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: no effect on his How many lies can he tell you, man,
- 1:28:10Speaker 7: that just goes unchecked. America has plenty of all. We
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: don't need the oil coming through the strait, Yes we do.
- 1:28:19Speaker 7: If we don't need that oil, if we have plenty
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: of all while our gas price is still climbing, it's
- 1:28:25Speaker 7: just not true. How do we elect a man into
- 1:28:30Speaker 7: office who is so indecent, who talks in a way
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: man that you would not expect any president to talk.
