- 0:01Speaker 1: Iowa is Maga country, plain and simple. It was a
- 0:06Speaker 1: blowout victory in Iowa for Donald J.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Trump.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And it was such a blowout that even on MSNBC
- 0:14Speaker 1: and on CNN they were having to talk about the
- 0:18Speaker 1: fact that they had never called it this early in
- 0:21Speaker 1: Iowa ever for a candidate like this. It was so
- 0:26Speaker 1: early in the night in this landslide, and it is
- 0:29Speaker 1: a landslide that the people at the Donald Trump party
- 0:34Speaker 1: weren't even there yet because they were still caucusing or
- 0:38Speaker 1: leaving from where they had been meeting.
- 0:41Speaker 2: That's how fast it was.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I want you to hear how Fox News reacted to
- 0:45Speaker 1: Donald Trump for winning Iowa in a landslide. And let
- 0:48Speaker 1: me be clear about this. It is obvious that President
- 0:51Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump had an incredible victory in the Iowa primary.
- 0:56Speaker 1: He didn't do one single televised debate. What does this mean, Well,
- 1:00Speaker 1: it means this a lot of working class Americans who
- 1:04Speaker 1: value the work he did to make America great again
- 1:07Speaker 1: voted for him. They gave him four years of historic
- 1:10Speaker 1: peace and prosperity, and they want it back again again.
- 1:15Speaker 2: This is how Fox News announced it.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Listen, and especially when it comes to that Maga voter.
- 1:20Speaker 3: It's telling us a lot about how President Trump is
- 1:23Speaker 3: having a really good night there in Iowa.
- 1:26Speaker 4: So take a look. This is some of the key
- 1:27Speaker 4: findings so far.
- 1:29Speaker 3: When it comes to the MAGA supporters in our Fox
- 1:32Speaker 3: News analysis, more than six and ten of them of
- 1:35Speaker 3: those caucus goers that identify as MAGA, the vast majority
- 1:39Speaker 3: of them, close to eight and ten, it is revealed,
- 1:42Speaker 3: are breaking for Donald Trump. He still appears to be
- 1:46Speaker 3: king of the MAGA world seventy seven percent of them.
- 1:48Speaker 4: But looking at the.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Moderate voters, this is a key group that we were
- 1:52Speaker 3: watching heading into Iowa.
- 1:54Speaker 4: This appears to give some hope to Nikki Haley.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Now when it comes to those moderate voters, she does
- 2:00Speaker 3: that beat Donald Trump there, but she's well ahead of
- 2:02Speaker 3: DeSantis and Ramaswami among moderate voters. This may reflect something
- 2:08Speaker 3: about her potential strength in a general election.
- 2:11Speaker 4: So that is a key takeaway.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Now let's take a look at another very key group
- 2:15Speaker 3: there in Iowa, and that is the evangelical Christian voter.
- 2:19Speaker 3: This is a sizeable group in Iowa. We all know
- 2:21Speaker 3: that we've been watching that heading into Iowa with this group,
- 2:25Speaker 3: DeSantis courted them, was even endorsed by Bob Vanderplatz as
- 2:29Speaker 3: we know, but they love Donald Trump. DeSantis is forty
- 2:34Speaker 3: points behind him and just five points ahead of Haley.
- 2:38Speaker 3: All right, So another key finding with Trump is the
- 2:41Speaker 3: fact that he is still facing multiple investigations and indictments.
- 2:46Speaker 3: So we put the question to voters, this for the
- 2:48Speaker 3: most part, does not appear to.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Be a factor for caucus goers. Look at this.
- 2:53Speaker 3: More than half think the former president did nothing wrong
- 2:56Speaker 3: on January sixth. Half think the same about interference in
- 3:01Speaker 3: the twenty twenty election.
- 3:03Speaker 4: That bumps down to four and ten.
- 3:05Speaker 3: As you can see when it comes to classified documents,
- 3:08Speaker 3: that is Florida Home. Overall, though, Iowa Republicans think the
- 3:12Speaker 3: investigation and the former president are political, not legitimate. So
- 3:18Speaker 3: take a look at this. Another key finding in a
- 3:20Speaker 3: question that we put to voters. When it comes to
- 3:22Speaker 3: those Trump charges, close to eight and ten say the
- 3:25Speaker 3: charges against Trump are political. Only two in say two
- 3:29Speaker 3: and ten say legitimate. And speaking of legitimate, more than
- 3:34Speaker 3: six and ten caucus goers say President Biden was not
- 3:38Speaker 3: legitimately elected four years ago. This is when we put
- 3:41Speaker 3: this question to voters. Those who think Biden's election was
- 3:45Speaker 3: on the up and up clicking yes here they're backing
- 3:49Speaker 3: Nikki Hiley. Those who don't break strongly close to three
- 3:52Speaker 3: quarters for Donald Trump. And finally, one other hot button
- 3:57Speaker 3: issue among Iowa Republicans is what is being taught in schools.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So we asked about three issues and here is what
- 4:05Speaker 3: they said and some of the top findings that we
- 4:07Speaker 3: took away from the Fox News voter analysis school teachings.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Half say K through eight schools are teaching too much
- 4:16Speaker 3: Sean about racism. But look, close to three quarters of
- 4:20Speaker 3: caucus attendees think schools are focusing too much on sexual
- 4:24Speaker 3: orientation and gender identity.
- 4:26Speaker 4: These are some really revealing numbers. Something to dig into, Sean.
- 4:31Speaker 2: What does this mean?
- 4:32Speaker 1: By the way, and I played that it was longer,
- 4:34Speaker 1: but I wanted you to hear all of this. What
- 4:35Speaker 1: this means is exactly what I've been telling you. Not
- 4:38Speaker 1: only was Trump gonna win Iowa easily, which is exactly
- 4:41Speaker 1: what I predicted for you, but honestly, this was a
- 4:44Speaker 1: comeback in a way that was against everybody against him,
- 4:47Speaker 1: including all of the lawsuits against him, including all of
- 4:51Speaker 1: the indictments, including all of the Shenanigans, and the American
- 4:54Speaker 1: people on the conservative side are saying, we are smart
- 4:57Speaker 1: enough to not be influences way, we are smart enough
- 5:02Speaker 1: to realize what's happening here. We're not stupid, We're very smart.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Now what the White House is now doing, just so
- 5:11Speaker 1: you know, if you want to know, if they think
- 5:12Speaker 1: that Donald Trump's a nominee, they are now fundraising off
- 5:16Speaker 1: of this, putting out fundraising letters making it clear that
- 5:20Speaker 1: they believe that Donald Trump is the guy. See and
- 5:23Speaker 1: in Politics is now reporting tonight that that Donald J.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Trump is the front runner, and the Biden campaign is
- 5:32Speaker 1: now using that to say we're up against Trump. They're
- 5:36Speaker 1: not mentioning Nicki Haley. They're not mentioning Ronda Santis. Now
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me get into quickly, DeSantis Haley, so you understand, Okay,
- 5:44Speaker 1: Number one, Ace Hudgson's done, eighty four votes done the
- 5:50Speaker 1: vek Ramaswani. You can be entertained by the guy and
- 5:53Speaker 1: watch him be a blowhard.
- 5:54Speaker 2: He's done. He needs to get out.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Ronda Santis and Nikki Haley both are fighting desperately to
- 6:00Speaker 1: claim that they came in second here and the reason why.
- 6:04Speaker 1: And as I'm doing this, by the way, I'm doing
- 6:05Speaker 1: live reaction to this at night, while we don't have
- 6:10Speaker 1: exactly every bit of data in on who's going to
- 6:13Speaker 1: come in second, So I'm giving it from this perspective.
- 6:15Speaker 1: When you hear this, we may know who's second or
- 6:17Speaker 1: who and who's third. But regardless, this was a disaster
- 6:22Speaker 1: for Haley and a disaster for Ron. And the reason
- 6:26Speaker 1: why I say that is when I was, as I'm
- 6:29Speaker 1: looking at this right now, Donald Trump has more votes
- 6:32Speaker 1: than DeSantis, Haley, Ramaswadne, and Hudgson all combined. Now there
- 6:37Speaker 1: was also something else and the goalposts removed, and the
- 6:40Speaker 1: media was doing this early in the day in Iowa
- 6:43Speaker 1: as they were dealing with these bitter cold temperatures and
- 6:47Speaker 1: the countries in a freeze right now, they were saying, well,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if Donald Trump can't get above you know, fifty percent,
- 6:52Speaker 1: then then is he really have a commanding lead?
- 6:55Speaker 2: Like you guys are idiots.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I understand that you don't want him to get to
- 6:59Speaker 1: be the nominee, and I understand you're going to say
- 7:01Speaker 1: everything you can to undermine, but the reality is that
- 7:05Speaker 1: this is a massive win. And this is the earliest
- 7:07Speaker 1: I've ever seen it called in Iowa in my political life.
- 7:11Speaker 2: And I do this for a living. I'm not the
- 7:14Speaker 2: only one.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Even Jake Tapper went on CNN and said the same thing.
- 7:18Speaker 1: He was like, all right, I mean, think about how
- 7:20Speaker 1: early they called this for Trump. It was so early
- 7:23Speaker 1: no one was at the party yet, because that's how
- 7:25Speaker 1: early the night it was. And the Biden campaign reacted instantly,
- 7:29Speaker 1: Joe Biden's campaign fundraising off Donald Trump's projected Iowa caucus
- 7:34Speaker 1: when warning of quote vile attacks, endless lies, and massive
- 7:37Speaker 1: spending of Trump secure as a Republican nomination for president. AKA,
- 7:41Speaker 1: what they're saying is give us your money because we're
- 7:44Speaker 1: going up against Donald Trump in the general election, and
- 7:47Speaker 1: it's clear to us that's what's about to happen. Now,
- 7:50Speaker 1: let me also say this, I think it's time to
- 7:54Speaker 1: walk away from Iowa. You can go into New Hampshire.
- 8:00Speaker 1: But who should be there. The only two people that
- 8:03Speaker 1: could even say, well, I should still stay in this,
- 8:05Speaker 1: or I might need to say this, or maybe there's
- 8:08Speaker 1: a chance I should stay in this would be Haley
- 8:13Speaker 1: Intosantus Ramaswami. You're done, Hudson, you're done, okay, And honestly,
- 8:17Speaker 1: I think the other two are done as well. They're
- 8:19Speaker 1: going to have a real big problem after this beat
- 8:22Speaker 1: down from Trump. And this was a beatdown from Trump.
- 8:25Speaker 1: It's Maga country in Iowa. I also think this tells
- 8:27Speaker 1: you about where the mindset is of the conservative Republican
- 8:31Speaker 1: GOP voter nationwide. I think you can absolutely read into
- 8:35Speaker 1: it because it was such a beatdown, and for the
- 8:38Speaker 1: president to be able to do this, for Trump to
- 8:40Speaker 1: be able to do this without doing a single televised
- 8:43Speaker 1: debate tells you something as well about just how powerful
- 8:48Speaker 1: he is. And there's gonna be a problem with donors
- 8:52Speaker 1: for these other two candidates. These other two candids are
- 8:55Speaker 1: going to have some serious problems raising money because they
- 8:58Speaker 1: came so far behind, they didn't challenge Trump at all.
- 9:04Speaker 1: If you're a donor, are you gonna write a million
- 9:06Speaker 1: dollar check or a fifty thousand dollar check, or a
- 9:09Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars check or a five thousand dollar check to.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Either of these individuals? Think about that.
- 9:16Speaker 1: You think Hailey's gonna get a big fat check from
- 9:18Speaker 1: somebody like, hey, you did great, coming in whatever it
- 9:20Speaker 1: is first or second or Desanders, Hey you did great,
- 9:22Speaker 1: You're gonna come in. We're gonna give you a fat
- 9:24Speaker 1: check first. Second, I don't see it. I don't see
- 9:27Speaker 1: it at all. I just don't. I don't see a
- 9:29Speaker 1: pathway for anyone but Trump. Let me just say this
- 9:33Speaker 1: about money real quick. You can raise money. There's people
- 9:36Speaker 1: out there that just want to be around a candidate.
- 9:39Speaker 1: They want to have a relationship and feel like they're important,
- 9:42Speaker 1: and they'll write you checks.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I want to be clear about that.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And I think that there's enough people out there that
- 9:47Speaker 1: truly hate Donald Trump that you can get some money
- 9:50Speaker 1: and make and get them to write checks to you
- 9:53Speaker 1: if you're Nikki Haley, for example. I think this Iowa
- 9:58Speaker 1: result is actually going to be worse on DeSantis because
- 10:01Speaker 1: DeSantis and Trump are basically one of the same.
- 10:04Speaker 2: One's a little older, one's a little younger.
- 10:06Speaker 1: One's got a track record as president in the United
- 10:10Speaker 1: States America and the other one doesn't, and so they're
- 10:13Speaker 1: both feeding from the same pool of people, and that's
- 10:16Speaker 1: going to be a problem.
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think it's actually.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Going to be a really really really really really big
- 10:21Speaker 1: problem moving forward for DeSantis. Now, DeSantis needed not just
- 10:27Speaker 1: to come in second, in my opinion, he needed to
- 10:29Speaker 1: show that he could challenge Trumper or at least bite
- 10:33Speaker 1: a big chunk and have Trump be well under fifty
- 10:36Speaker 1: percent at forty forty one, forty two percent of the vote.
- 10:39Speaker 2: That didn't happen.
- 10:41Speaker 1: And so now you've got, yeah, Nikki Haley, she's going
- 10:45Speaker 1: to get some cash right from the never Trump crowd,
- 10:48Speaker 1: the establishment crowd. But you cannot overlook the reality of
- 10:52Speaker 1: the results. I'm glad that we have Iowa. I'm glad
- 10:55Speaker 1: that New Hampshire happens very quickly after Iowa. I think
- 10:59Speaker 1: it's important people get to speak. But you got to
- 11:03Speaker 1: you gotta look into this. You you do have to
- 11:05Speaker 1: understand that. Okay, You've got to look into these numbers
- 11:08Speaker 1: and get some understanding out of it.
- 11:11Speaker 2: And these numbers.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Are overwhelmingly massive for Donald Trump called earlier than I've
- 11:19Speaker 1: ever seen in my life.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Everyone should let that sink in.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Hailey DeSantis are battling for not just second, but a
- 11:29Speaker 1: distant second, and Viveck was basically shut out here.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So and I'm glad I've e's gone. By the way.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I don't trust the guy. I think he's a stakehold salesman.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I don't like the fact he actually he's some sort
- 11:41Speaker 1: of evangelical Christian when he's really Hindu and I don't know.
- 11:44Speaker 2: You can pick your religion.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I don't care, but don't act like Hindu isn't the
- 11:47Speaker 1: same as Christianity and try to fake people out. That
- 11:50Speaker 1: offended my, uh my understanding of my faith when you
- 11:54Speaker 1: try to act like somehow your faith is the same
- 11:56Speaker 1: and they're very, very different, just trying to hoodwink people
- 11:59Speaker 1: into voting for you.
- 12:00Speaker 2: It bothered me a lot.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And I think the voters in Iowa clearly saw the
- 12:04Speaker 1: same thing that I did and said, Okay, we don't
- 12:08Speaker 1: like how you are a chameleon, and we don't like
- 12:11Speaker 1: that you're this kind of arrogant, cocky, billionaire, pompous get
- 12:16Speaker 1: in the face of people and hear me roar with
- 12:19Speaker 1: no background. All right, I think this is an opportunist
- 12:23Speaker 1: and I think this really is. The Other thing is
- 12:26Speaker 1: Donald Trump crushed it with evangelicals, and there were a
- 12:29Speaker 1: lot of people that were saying internally they were worried
- 12:31Speaker 1: that Trump may have lost some of the evangelicals support
- 12:34Speaker 1: because of all these lawsuits. Right and Democrats in the
- 12:38Speaker 1: media have been trying to just beat him up for
- 12:40Speaker 1: the last four years, looking like he's some sort of
- 12:42Speaker 1: lawless narcissist individual that is should be in jail. It
- 12:47Speaker 1: didn't work with him either. The early entrance pulling presented
- 12:51Speaker 1: by Seeing and found Trump seeing support from fifty five
- 12:54Speaker 1: percent of evangelicals. That's more than double the twenty four
- 12:58Speaker 1: percent garnered by Florida Governor de Santas and more than
- 13:00Speaker 1: four times what Nicky Hayley got twelve percent support among
- 13:04Speaker 1: that group. So this idea that among evangelicals right Christians,
- 13:11Speaker 1: that they were going to walk away from.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Trump, it's just not true.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Sixty plus percent of evangelicals going for Trump, and Iowa,
- 13:20Speaker 1: Ronda Santis, by the way, made a very valiant and
- 13:23Speaker 1: well campaigned pushed for evangelicals.
- 13:25Speaker 2: It didn't pan out.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And the reason why is because this goes back to
- 13:28Speaker 1: what I say early on about Dysantis. I said on
- 13:30Speaker 1: the show, and I was giving you this as not
- 13:32Speaker 1: a cheerleading perspective, but honest, real authentic analysts perspective for you,
- 13:40Speaker 1: just an honest analysis to give it to you. And
- 13:45Speaker 1: one of the things that I said early on was
- 13:48Speaker 1: if you put Rhonda Santis' what he believes in on
- 13:53Speaker 1: a page, and then you put Donald Trump and what
- 13:55Speaker 1: he believes in on a page and their stances on
- 13:57Speaker 1: the issues.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Can you really find anything? Can you? I mean seriously,
- 14:03Speaker 2: can you find.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Anything that is significantly different between the two men that's
- 14:09Speaker 1: gonna make you say, Okay, I want that one over
- 14:12Speaker 1: that one. No, And so I didn't understand the whole DeSantis,
- 14:16Speaker 1: Why are you running if Trump's going to get indicted
- 14:18Speaker 1: which we all knew he was because Democrats were psychotically
- 14:21Speaker 1: obsessed with doing it and it was going to turn
- 14:24Speaker 1: him into martyr. How do you run against the guy
- 14:26Speaker 1: that's been president, has a much lengthier voting record than
- 14:30Speaker 1: you do, who has already had experience with the job,
- 14:33Speaker 1: when you basically believe exactly the same things.
- 14:35Speaker 2: If you're side by side.
- 14:36Speaker 1: On stage, I mean, if you went through the top
- 14:38Speaker 1: twenty five issues in the conservative movement, I think twenty
- 14:42Speaker 1: four of twenty five, they would both raise their hand
- 14:44Speaker 1: saying are you in favor of this? Do you support this?
- 14:47Speaker 1: Do you support that? Do you support this? They would
- 14:49Speaker 1: raise their hands. So why run against one another in
- 14:52Speaker 1: that scenario when clearly Donald Trump had the advantage. And
- 14:56Speaker 1: that's what the Iowa voters, by the way, are saying
- 14:58Speaker 1: right here. Okay, that's exactly what the Iowa voters are saying.
- 15:03Speaker 1: They're saying, we still like Donald Trump. There's also the
- 15:06Speaker 1: aspect of this I think that's really important is the
- 15:09Speaker 1: Biden team has been trying to say, well, Okay, if
- 15:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden is too old, then so is Donald j.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Trump.
- 15:15Speaker 1: That didn't work in Iowa either, because people are judging
- 15:18Speaker 1: them on cognizance, not just based on a number on
- 15:23Speaker 1: a page. The difference between Donald Trump and the difference
- 15:27Speaker 1: between Joe Biden is Donald Trump still very much seems
- 15:31Speaker 1: like he is completely with it at the same level
- 15:33Speaker 1: that he was four years ago and four years before that.
- 15:37Speaker 1: No one is gonna in their right mind they're lying
- 15:40Speaker 1: to they say that Donald that Joe Biden is at
- 15:43Speaker 1: the same cognitive level that he was a year ago,
- 15:45Speaker 1: much less four years ago, much less eight years ago.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And so Donald Trump's age is not an issue because
- 15:52Speaker 1: he hasn't seen the cognitive decline that Joe Biden is seen.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And I would argue that Joe Biden's age actually isn't
- 15:57Speaker 1: the issue. It's his cognitive decline that's the issue. Yes,
- 16:00Speaker 1: it's associated with his age, clearly right, it's absolutely associated
- 16:05Speaker 1: with his age.
- 16:06Speaker 2: No doubt about it, Okay, no doubt.
- 16:10Speaker 1: But at the end of the day, Donald Trump's age
- 16:14Speaker 1: doesn't really matter to anyone. And that's the part that
- 16:19Speaker 1: people need to understand. All right, let me tell you
- 16:22Speaker 1: real quick about an amazing company. And if you're like me,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and you're sick and tired of giving your money to
- 16:27Speaker 1: companies that hate you, that literally hate you, hate your
- 16:30Speaker 1: family values, hate your Christian values, hate your traditional values,
- 16:34Speaker 1: well now there's an option when it comes to your
- 16:36Speaker 1: cell phone.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I have switched to Patriot Mobile.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And when I look at my phone every time and
- 16:40Speaker 1: the top left it says Patriot And I know that
- 16:43Speaker 1: when I pay my bill every month, that a percentage
- 16:46Speaker 1: of that bill, at no extra cost to me, is
- 16:48Speaker 1: going to go back to support conservative causes, candidates, organizations,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and most importantly to me, support the rights of unborn
- 16:57Speaker 1: children this country to live. Now, I do that every
- 17:00Speaker 1: month because I love knowing that I'm giving my money
- 17:03Speaker 1: to a company.
- 17:03Speaker 2: That actually loves my values.
- 17:06Speaker 1: For ten years, Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian
- 17:10Speaker 1: conservative wireless provider. And when I say only trust me,
- 17:13Speaker 1: they are the only one. Patriot Mobile is a great
- 17:16Speaker 1: supporter of this show, which is why I'm proud to
- 17:18Speaker 1: partner with him because they support conservative ideals. Patriot Mobile
- 17:22Speaker 1: offers dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the ability to access

- 17:32Speaker 1: coverage you've been accustomed to without funding the left. Now,
- 17:35Speaker 1: when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending the message
- 17:38Speaker 1: that you support free speech, religious freedom, the sancty of life,

- 18:07Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson. One other thing that I think
- 18:11Speaker 1: this does moving forward is people there is a mentality,
- 18:15Speaker 1: okay that people have in politics, whether you're a Republican
- 18:19Speaker 1: or a Democrat. People like feeling like they're on a
- 18:22Speaker 1: winning team. And so after you see these results coming
- 18:26Speaker 1: out of Iowa.
- 18:27Speaker 2: What does it mean.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It means that people that maybe were on the fence
- 18:31Speaker 1: or maybe could have voted for Haley or de santas
- 18:33Speaker 1: of vivic right, They're going to now want to pick
- 18:35Speaker 1: a winning team. It's just like sports. We're watching the
- 18:38Speaker 1: playoffs right now, right. You can call it fairweather fans.
- 18:42Speaker 1: I'm fine with that. But people don't like to vote
- 18:44Speaker 1: for a loser. You want to be on a winning team.
- 18:47Speaker 1: And so these states moving forward are going to look
- 18:51Speaker 1: at Trump differently because of this overwhelming beat down in Iowa,
- 18:58Speaker 1: and there's going to be people that maybe, like, you know, man,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I could vote for DeSantis, and by the way, I could.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I could vote for DeSantis just for the record, right, like,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't see any things in his resume that terrify me.
- 19:11Speaker 1: In fact, I would be all in for DeSantis if
- 19:14Speaker 1: Donald Trump wasn't in the race. And I think there's
- 19:18Speaker 1: many conservatives that feel the same way that if Donald
- 19:20Speaker 1: Trump was in the race, DeSantis would have been a
- 19:22Speaker 1: guy that would have been absolutely loved by many people.
- 19:26Speaker 1: The problem is Donald Trump's in the race, and so
- 19:29Speaker 1: with Donald Trump and the race, then then it's kind
- 19:32Speaker 1: of one of those moments you're like what are you doing?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Man like, like for real, like what are you doing?
- 19:38Speaker 1: And so I just don't see there being this big
- 19:43Speaker 1: like Okay, we're gonna double down, right, and and we're
- 19:46Speaker 1: gonna show Trump in New Hampshire or South Carolina. Right,
- 19:50Speaker 1: We're gonna we're gonna really show him. And I need
- 19:54Speaker 1: more money, more support. Look, it takes a lot of
- 19:56Speaker 1: money to run for office in general. Now, it takes
- 19:58Speaker 1: a hell of a lot of money in insane amount
- 20:00Speaker 1: of run money to run for president, and people like
- 20:03Speaker 1: being on a winning team. I just don't see how
- 20:06Speaker 1: you overcome this beat down if you're the other two Kennants,
- 20:11Speaker 1: just from the standpoint now that there's a lot less
- 20:13Speaker 1: people that want to sit down with you, and a
- 20:15Speaker 1: lot less people that want to write you a check.
- 20:17Speaker 1: By the way, there's a lot of people that may
- 20:19Speaker 1: have been holding out to write checks who are now
- 20:21Speaker 1: saying okay, and maybe it's in their business interest, right,
- 20:24Speaker 1: Maybe they're selfish voters, but they're going to pick who
- 20:27Speaker 1: they think is going to be the winner because it's
- 20:29Speaker 1: good for them. You don't want to be on the
- 20:31Speaker 1: record in public. It's public knowledge of who people write
- 20:34Speaker 1: checks to and say, yeah, I run a huge check
- 20:36Speaker 1: to Ron DeSantis or Nikki Haley after you want an
- 20:39Speaker 1: Iowa as president, but now I need a favor from you,
- 20:41Speaker 1: or now I want you to listen to about what I want.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You know, this issue, like come on, and there's going
- 20:47Speaker 1: to be a lot of big donors that are going
- 20:48Speaker 1: to look at this and say, Okay, look, hey, we
- 20:50Speaker 1: need to hedge our bets.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Now.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's clearly going to be Trump. It's not going to
- 20:53Speaker 1: be DeSantis, not gonna be Haley. It's time for us
- 20:54Speaker 1: to get on board. That's what I think is going
- 20:57Speaker 1: to happen here. Let me also say so something else
- 21:00Speaker 1: about the media and their meltdown over this. MSNBC couldn't
- 21:05Speaker 1: believe that sixty three percent of Iowa voters will say
- 21:07Speaker 1: they'll still vote for Trump even if he's a convicted felon,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and MSNBC this is how they were talking about the
- 21:14Speaker 1: win for Trump, like they can't get their head around
- 21:16Speaker 1: the idea that there's a real chance that Donald Trump
- 21:20Speaker 1: could get elected to the presidency yet again, after what
- 21:24Speaker 1: all they've done to try to stop him, including indicting him.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Listen, is that of people turning out to caucus in Iowa,
- 21:32Speaker 5: a third of them think that if Donald Trump is convicted,
- 21:36Speaker 5: he is not fit to be president. And this incredibly
- 21:39Speaker 5: conservative electorate where Trump is going to run away with
- 21:42Speaker 5: the Iowa caucuses by a mile, and then some still
- 21:46Speaker 5: a third of that electorate says if he's convicted, they're
- 21:50Speaker 5: going to nominate him national.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but even a third of Iowa caucus goers will say, no,
- 21:55Speaker 4: he can't be president if he's convicted. I'm sorry, but.
- 21:57Speaker 2: He's going to be convicted. There, I mean, you can
- 22:01Speaker 2: hear it there.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Like they're like, they don't understand it, right, they say
- 22:06Speaker 1: they got there, They're like, look, you know, sixty three percent,
- 22:11Speaker 1: sixty three percent say Trump still fit if convicted. They
- 22:14Speaker 1: can't understand that because the majority of the people think
- 22:17Speaker 1: that this is total crap. And she says, six to
- 22:20Speaker 1: three percent of Iowa voters say they'll still vote.
- 22:23Speaker 2: For Trump even if he's a convicted felon.
- 22:25Speaker 1: He's going to be convicted, she whispers, Right, let me
- 22:28Speaker 1: explain this to you simply, your damn right, We're going
- 22:31Speaker 1: to still vote for him because we understand what trumped
- 22:35Speaker 1: up charges actually look like. We understand what this actually means,
- 22:39Speaker 1: which brings me to something that was said by new Gingrich.
- 22:43Speaker 1: New Gingrich was on Fox with Hannity, Uh doing you
- 22:46Speaker 1: know this just beat down coverage, and I want you
- 22:49Speaker 1: to hear what he said about why Donald Trump did
- 22:53Speaker 1: so well and what this means moving forward.
- 22:55Speaker 6: Listen the speaker, You became part of a very big
- 22:59Speaker 6: ad that the trum campaign if somebody put together I'm
- 23:01Speaker 6: not sure if it was a super pack of the campaign,
- 23:04Speaker 6: and you voice it over and you make a comparison
- 23:07Speaker 6: about corruption with the Clintons and the Bidens and a
- 23:10Speaker 6: dual system of justice. I don't know what to what
- 23:13Speaker 6: degree at that played a role tonight, but certainly it
- 23:16Speaker 6: did not deter many people in Iowa tonight for voting
- 23:19Speaker 6: for Donald Trump. What's your analysis is?
- 23:22Speaker 7: You know, I almost never write anything down listening to
- 23:27Speaker 7: the two brilliant people. You know, you just had two
- 23:29Speaker 7: of the best analysts on American politics that we have.
- 23:33Speaker 7: So I've got five quick points. One, this is the
- 23:36Speaker 7: people's victory. Despite every media, despite every lawsuit, despite every
- 23:42Speaker 7: effort to destroy Trump, the people of Iowa have stood
- 23:46Speaker 7: up and said, no, he is our candidate number two.
- 23:50Speaker 7: He's the nominee.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Get over it.
- 23:53Speaker 7: He is the nominee. He's going to win the nomination.
- 23:55Speaker 7: The news media doesn't want to say that because they
- 23:58Speaker 7: need to somehow hype. Please watch us while we go
- 24:01Speaker 7: through this charade. There is no candidacy for number two.
- 24:05Speaker 7: There is no number two. There are irrelevancies. You get
- 24:08Speaker 7: to be the leading irrelevant, or the second irrelevant, or
- 24:11Speaker 7: the third irrelevant. But nobody's going to be number two
- 24:14Speaker 7: because he's going to dominate totally. If you look at
- 24:17Speaker 7: the country at large, where he's at like sixty two
- 24:19Speaker 7: or sixty four percent approval, Trump is not a candidate.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Trump is the leader of a nationwide movement to take
- 24:28Speaker 7: power back from the establishment. And that's why every time
- 24:32Speaker 7: he's attacked by the judiciary, every time he's attacked by
- 24:36Speaker 7: the news media, he gets stronger because people go, yep,
- 24:39Speaker 7: that's what I thought. That's exactly what those corrupt people
- 24:42Speaker 7: will do. And of course, starting with the Russian hoax,
- 24:45Speaker 7: it's just clear these people lie all the time. Finally,
- 24:50Speaker 7: Iowa has turned red. When I first got involved in politics,
- 24:53Speaker 7: Iowa was a very competitive state and sometimes there's a
- 24:57Speaker 7: sort of Democrat state. But over the years Iowa has
- 25:00Speaker 7: moved away, and Trump is a big part of this.
- 25:02Speaker 7: If you look at the who's winning elections in Iowa today,
- 25:05Speaker 7: they're Republicans. If you look at which party is collapsing
- 25:08Speaker 7: in Iowa today, it's the Democrats. That's a harbinger. I
- 25:11Speaker 7: think of what the next few years are going to
- 25:13Speaker 7: be like. So that's my sweeping introduction.
- 25:17Speaker 1: By the way, I agree with everything that speaker Gingrich
- 25:20Speaker 1: just said there. And so this now turns into what
- 25:23Speaker 1: is the media going to do to try to stop
- 25:27Speaker 1: Donald Trump? Howard Dean, he said that evangelicals have now
- 25:32Speaker 1: sold out, They've abandoned everything because they went with Donald Trump.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Listed this is the former leader of the Democratic Party,
- 25:39Speaker 1: former presidential candidate.
- 25:41Speaker 2: The guy Rah. Remember when he screamed, that's that Howard Dean. Listen.
- 25:44Speaker 8: I mean Trump is the farthest thing from an evangelical Christian,
- 25:47Speaker 8: in factually the farthest thing from a Christian in terms
- 25:50Speaker 8: of his own professed values. How he treats women, how
- 25:53Speaker 8: he treats other people, his willingness to say whatever he wants,
- 25:58Speaker 8: whether it's true or not. I mean, these are what
- 26:00Speaker 8: most Christians would call Christian values.
- 26:03Speaker 2: So in many ways.
- 26:05Speaker 8: The danger here is that the evangelical Christians have abandoned
- 26:09Speaker 8: any pretense of being ethical, and they're just doing this
- 26:13Speaker 8: because Trump is their vehicle to their vision of what
- 26:16Speaker 8: they'd like to impose on the rest of us in
- 26:18Speaker 8: the United States.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So there it is Howard Dean now saying that if
- 26:23Speaker 1: you're a Christian and you vote for Donald Trump, you're
- 26:25Speaker 1: not really a Christian at all. Then you move on
- 26:29Speaker 1: over to Chris Wallace, right, the former guy that was
- 26:33Speaker 1: over at Fox, who's now at CNN, And what did
- 26:35Speaker 1: he say. He was scolding Christians, saying that you're basically
- 26:39Speaker 1: now no longer Christians.
- 26:40Speaker 2: You're a cult. Yes, you're a cult. Like David Koresh.
- 26:44Speaker 9: When he walked in the room, the reaction was electric.
- 26:48Speaker 10: Everybody.
- 26:48Speaker 9: There may be people here for a lot of other candidates.
- 26:51Speaker 9: There was genuine excitement. Everybody stood up, gave him a
- 26:53Speaker 9: standing ovation. I completely agree with you, And it's interesting
- 26:57Speaker 9: he's not, at least the part that we heard so far,
- 27:00Speaker 9: is not talking about twenty twenty.
- 27:02Speaker 2: He's not talking grievance.
- 27:03Speaker 4: You start somebody's screen, you didn't lose.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Well, then you can't help the audience.
- 27:08Speaker 9: But I mean he was exactly saying how much better
- 27:11Speaker 9: the country was when he was president than it is now.
- 27:14Speaker 4: And I think you're going to.
- 27:15Speaker 9: See that, I'm told an increasing focus on Biden and
- 27:20Speaker 9: a general election in a sense that assuming that he
- 27:24Speaker 9: does well tonight, that you know, let's get this nomination
- 27:28Speaker 9: over with and unite and fight Joe Biden.
- 27:30Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean, I think you know, the thing that
- 27:32Speaker 10: we can't lose sight of is that this really is
- 27:36Speaker 10: a race between two incumbents for all intents and purposes,
- 27:40Speaker 10: in Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
- 27:43Speaker 11: Donald Trump is one of the most famous men on
- 27:45Speaker 11: the entire planet. Right, it makes sense that he has
- 27:49Speaker 11: been the front runner all along.
- 27:51Speaker 4: And I think what really.
- 27:52Speaker 11: Has driven that dynamic is that no other candidate has
- 27:55Speaker 11: made a convincing argument against him or shown the country
- 27:59Speaker 11: that they can stand and become or be a bigger
- 28:03Speaker 11: deal than he is.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I love this.
- 28:05Speaker 1: It's a cult. You guys are like a cult. You
- 28:07Speaker 1: stand up and cheer him. It's like you're a cult.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Right there.
- 28:12Speaker 2: It is. I'm going to just say it there.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Lawrence o'donald, by the way, throwing out a new conspiracy
- 28:16Speaker 1: theory on MSNBC, this is what they had to say
- 28:19Speaker 1: about Nikki Hayley.
- 28:21Speaker 12: Then there is overwhelming data, new data to night among
- 28:23Speaker 12: Republican activists and a a bunch of other indies, Normanies
- 28:27Speaker 12: and otherwise who say no, I don't want.
- 28:29Speaker 4: A Fellon running the play.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so that would.
- 28:31Speaker 12: Be and I don't say this as anything other than observation,
- 28:34Speaker 12: that would be bad news for Trump in a general Right.
- 28:37Speaker 13: Look, I also think we're going to see tomorrow and
- 28:39Speaker 13: we saw last week that Trump is basically running a
- 28:41Speaker 13: campaign in the courtroom, right, he was there more than
- 28:44Speaker 13: he was in Iowa over the last week. Is that
- 28:47Speaker 13: going to work for the Republican electorate? Seems pretty clearly
- 28:50Speaker 13: from these entrance polls. Yes, But to your point, the
- 28:53Speaker 13: whole electorate is an entirely different population of people, and
- 28:58Speaker 13: Trump loves his own stress, so it's very possible he
- 29:01Speaker 13: may keep doubling down on that, right, Yes, Well.
- 29:04Speaker 14: The worst thing we've learned about the Republican primary electorate
- 29:08Speaker 14: is not yet in these entrance poles questions. Not the
- 29:12Speaker 14: CBS poll of their final poll before the Iowa coox
- 29:16Speaker 14: is a national poll shows that eighty one percent of
- 29:21Speaker 14: Republican primary voters and caucus participants, eighty one percent of
- 29:27Speaker 14: those people agree with Donald Trump that immigrants are poisoning
- 29:32Speaker 14: the blood of this country. That means that eighty one
- 29:36Speaker 14: percent of the Republican primary electorate believe Nikki Hayley has
- 29:42Speaker 14: poisoned blood and is poisoning the blood of the United States.
- 29:47Speaker 14: So that as a roadblock for Nicki Haley is impossible.
- 29:52Speaker 1: But it also you hear this right now, we're getting
- 29:55Speaker 1: down to like people's blood and are they pure bloods?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Do you hear this psycho talk from MSNBC, And I
- 30:02Speaker 1: play this for you because I just want you to
- 30:04Speaker 1: understand they're not going to stop. Okay, they're not going
- 30:08Speaker 1: to back down. They're not going to stop and just
- 30:12Speaker 1: to allow Donald Trump to have this. They're going to
- 30:14Speaker 1: now and this is part of what they do. They're
- 30:16Speaker 1: going to come after all of us.
- 30:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Right, you're in a cult, You're like a Nazi. You're
- 30:23Speaker 1: a bunch of psychopaths. Right, You're a bunch of crazies
- 30:27Speaker 1: out there. You're a bunch of demented, crazy people. And
- 30:32Speaker 1: if you think they're going to sit there for a
- 30:35Speaker 1: moment and let you have a second to enjoy this victory,
- 30:41Speaker 1: you are wrong.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm going to keep covering it. Enjoy the moment.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I will say that it is very clear that this
- 30:49Speaker 1: country is behind Donald Trump right now. I think it's
- 30:54Speaker 1: very clear he is a presumptive nominee right now. It's
- 30:57Speaker 1: going to be very hard for these other candidates to
- 30:59Speaker 1: move forward right now now, don't forget share this podcast
- 31:02Speaker 1: on social media. Please this episode wherever you can, and
- 31:06Speaker 1: I'll see you back here tomorrow
