- 1:24Speaker 5: Got to turn, got to turn the mouth, the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You probably got to turn the mouth, turn out the
- 1:47Speaker 2: water the mon jup looking.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Come come on you think that? Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 4: on now, dig me one and only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:11Speaker 4: got a radio show. What God doing y'all? Huh what
- 2:16Speaker 4: he doing? What he doing in your life? He doing something?
- 2:18Speaker 4: He moving, he working. Don't lose your patience though, see
- 2:22Speaker 4: I did that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't get
- 2:27Speaker 4: so sick of waiting that you take matters into your
- 2:31Speaker 4: own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it. Listen
- 2:35Speaker 4: to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it that way.
- 2:39Speaker 4: I had a dream. I had a vision. I had
- 2:42Speaker 4: some hope, I had some faith, I had some aspirations.
- 2:46Speaker 4: But I got a little impatient waiting on it. So
- 2:49Speaker 4: I tried a couple other things. Move it along, boy,
- 2:52Speaker 4: I can't tell you how I messed it up. Then
- 2:54Speaker 4: I messed it up. Then, because God gave me the
- 2:56Speaker 4: power of decision, what I had to do was then
- 2:59Speaker 4: after I took matters into my own hand, messed it up.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Now I guess what, he still got something fummy. But nah,
- 3:06Speaker 4: I gotta fix all the mistakes now, I gotta straighten
- 3:09Speaker 4: them out. I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay
- 3:13Speaker 4: for my transgressions, all of that, All of that, it's
- 3:16Speaker 4: gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and not
- 3:20Speaker 4: pay for it. It's just you call it, calma, call
- 3:24Speaker 4: it whatever you want to call it. Every action has
- 3:27Speaker 4: an equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just
- 3:32Speaker 4: stays sunny all the time, you might think it's cool,
- 3:35Speaker 4: but there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 4: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 4: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 4: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 4: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 4: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:55Speaker 4: so that sun can it can soak up the sun
- 3:58Speaker 4: and get the benefit of the sun. If you don't
- 4:00Speaker 4: get the opposite. You got a problem, man, and it
- 4:03Speaker 4: happens throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think
- 4:07Speaker 4: that you can do wrong and not have to pay
- 4:10Speaker 4: for that. You think this is man. We think man,
- 4:15Speaker 4: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:17Speaker 4: best for us, and no matter how to affect nobody else,
- 4:20Speaker 4: we got the right to make that call. No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 4: gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need to be
- 4:29Speaker 4: this way to be down with us. I'll tell you what.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 4:33Speaker 4: many them be there for you. Oh they'll go around
- 4:36Speaker 4: the corner with you and start shooting. But look, okay,
- 4:39Speaker 4: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 4:42Speaker 4: lessen they sentence, you gonna get that time. They gonna
- 4:44Speaker 4: point their finger dead at you. I watched for eight
- 4:47Speaker 4: hours all the time, man, I watch Lock Up Raw
- 4:49Speaker 4: all the time, all the time, man, all the time.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Ain't no real cold dudes out there, just holding to
- 4:55Speaker 4: the mantra and sticking to it. Even the mob turns stateside,
- 5:00Speaker 4: evidence go fed all that. Now we in now the
- 5:03Speaker 4: hood we didne created this ignorant mess called no snitching.
- 5:06Speaker 4: With that ignorant mess, you don't even understand. No snitching
- 5:09Speaker 4: was created by criminals as a cold of honor. If
- 5:12Speaker 4: you do dirt and you get busted doing the dirt,
- 5:15Speaker 4: don't bring my name up if I was with you.
- 5:17Speaker 4: That's a cold of honor amongst the thieves. Now, so
- 5:19Speaker 4: many code of honor thieves that then came out of prison.
- 5:22Speaker 4: They ain't gotten honor. They done brought that stuff back
- 5:24Speaker 4: to the street. Now that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching,
- 5:28Speaker 4: No snitching, You got to be crazy. That's for people
- 5:31Speaker 4: who disobey the law. That's who people have made a
- 5:34Speaker 4: cold of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if
- 5:36Speaker 4: you get busted, don't drag me down with you. Just
- 5:39Speaker 4: do your time. Oh man, you can't bring that stuff
- 5:42Speaker 4: out here to me. I'm a law abiding citizen. Dog.
- 5:45Speaker 4: I'm trying to live right over here.
- 5:47Speaker 6: Man.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I don't want no crack house up street from my
- 5:49Speaker 4: mama's house. I'm trying to do right out here.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Man.
- 5:52Speaker 4: You can't do wrong and expect wrong not to come
- 5:54Speaker 4: to you. You got to make a decision every day
- 5:57Speaker 4: to do right. God ain't got no protection. You on dirt.
- 6:00Speaker 4: You got what you got coming. You made a decision.
- 6:05Speaker 4: You go down there to get some you might get
- 6:08Speaker 4: got See, we got to come on. I'm talking to
- 6:12Speaker 4: so many men out here right now. I should have
- 6:14Speaker 4: said that in the beginning, but a conversation kind of
- 6:16Speaker 4: got away from me. I was gonna talk to you
- 6:18Speaker 4: about something else this morning. But they're just only man
- 6:20Speaker 4: because our communities. Man's just going to the pot man
- 6:24Speaker 4: because it ain't nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody
- 6:29Speaker 4: care when they see that young dude over there doing wrong.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Look at them foods over there. Man, go over there
- 6:33Speaker 4: and talk to one of them. Pull them to the side. Man,
- 6:36Speaker 4: you might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 4: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, Let
- 6:41Speaker 4: me talk to you. I saw you the other day.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Man.
- 6:43Speaker 4: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:45Speaker 4: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 4: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 4: you was doing.
- 6:51Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:51Speaker 4: It's like Tommy did a prank phone call one time
- 6:53Speaker 4: as a limo driver, and the dude the prank was
- 6:58Speaker 4: he called this limo company to ask this limo driver
- 7:01Speaker 4: to take him to this location late at night, and
- 7:06Speaker 4: the limo driver got a young business he going, yeah, okay,
- 7:08Speaker 4: I got you. I don't normally work like that. But
- 7:11Speaker 4: how long you need it? He say, for just about
- 7:12Speaker 4: an hour? He said, well, I'm gonna have to charge
- 7:14Speaker 4: you for the full three though, because a three hour minimum.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Tommy told him, now, I just need it for one hours.
- 7:19Speaker 4: He said, okay, I'll give you a break, young man.
- 7:21Speaker 4: You're trying to do something. Where you want to go?
- 7:23Speaker 4: He gave an address. The man stopped writing. He said,
- 7:26Speaker 4: that's a bank. He said, yeah. He said, you want
- 7:30Speaker 4: to go to the bank at twelve thirty at night.
- 7:33Speaker 4: He said yeah, And I'm gonna be in for a
- 7:35Speaker 4: few minutes and when I come out that bank, I
- 7:38Speaker 4: need for you to flow it. That to do with
- 7:41Speaker 4: the limo. He stopped writing. He said, hold on, hold on, man,
- 7:46Speaker 4: you want me to take you to a bank twelve
- 7:48Speaker 4: thirty at night. You gonna be hitting there for a
- 7:51Speaker 4: few minutes and you gonna come out, and you want
- 7:54Speaker 4: me to flow it. He said, sir, I don't do
- 7:56Speaker 4: stuff like that. He said, you got the wrong company.
- 7:58Speaker 4: He said, what made you call? He said, hey, man,
- 8:00Speaker 4: don't worry about that. You a limo come to you.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Just drive. He stopped and took the time out. He said,
- 8:06Speaker 4: young man, let me tell you something. He said, I've
- 8:09Speaker 4: been down before, I've been locked up before. It ain't pretty.
- 8:13Speaker 4: He said, that's what's wrong with you young people today.
- 8:16Speaker 4: Instead of going to get a job, trying to work
- 8:17Speaker 4: your way, you're always looking for some fast money. He said,
- 8:20Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you what I already know. Don't go
- 8:22Speaker 4: down there messing with them people's money like that because
- 8:24Speaker 4: they love that money way more than they love you,
- 8:26Speaker 4: and they gonna do something to you down there. Now,
- 8:28Speaker 4: you stop this foolishness. And I'm not caring you know where,
- 8:32Speaker 4: but I'm gonna take a little bit of time out
- 8:34Speaker 4: to tell you something. Don't go down here with messing
- 8:37Speaker 4: with these people's money because it ain't gonna go good.
- 8:40Speaker 4: They gonna take care of their business where they come
- 8:41Speaker 4: to that money. Tommy kept insisting to this man to
- 8:44Speaker 4: pick him up in the limbo. It was a plank
- 8:46Speaker 4: phone call. But the point I'm making is the man
- 8:49Speaker 4: took our time. He could have just hung the phone up.
- 8:51Speaker 4: But you know what he said. He said, hold up,
- 8:53Speaker 4: young man, let me hip you to something. Because the
- 8:55Speaker 4: brother had been locked up before. He said, no, no, no, see,
- 8:58Speaker 4: I've done that when I was young. Now'n stop it.
- 9:00Speaker 4: I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you I'm
- 9:02Speaker 4: up here, working man, trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:04Speaker 4: I ain't going back down there because I don't. They
- 9:07Speaker 4: make you eat what they want you to eat. You
- 9:09Speaker 4: don't want the food. You got to get up when
- 9:11Speaker 4: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 4: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 4: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 4: young man out of me. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 4: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 4: young man's mind. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 4: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not
- 9:30Speaker 4: having them. And it's up to us who know what
- 9:33Speaker 4: manhood is. It is to start delivering the message. The
- 9:36Speaker 4: problem that we have in our communities we can solve ourselves.
- 9:39Speaker 4: It's to escalate it to a point because we who
- 9:42Speaker 4: are men won't stop on our corporate climb and our
- 9:45Speaker 4: day to day making money and trying to ball out.
- 9:48Speaker 4: We won't stop and grab some of these young soldiers
- 9:51Speaker 4: and tell them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay, Sah,
- 9:54Speaker 4: I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 2: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen. The time has come. It's a new day,
- 10:07Speaker 4: a new opportunity, a new blessing, a new gift from God.
- 10:10Speaker 4: It's all good man. Today. I live my life and
- 10:13Speaker 4: the expectations. I expect God to prosper me. I expect
- 10:18Speaker 4: God to render me into great health. I expect God
- 10:22Speaker 4: to cover me in all aspects of my life, my family,
- 10:26Speaker 4: my wife, my children, my grandchildren. I expect God to
- 10:30Speaker 4: do exceedingly and abundantly over all. I could think. I asked,
- 10:36Speaker 4: I asked us in his name. Let your church say amen, Amen, Amen.
- 10:41Speaker 4: I said it for you, ladies, Jenimen Sheldon Strawberry calling
- 10:44Speaker 4: for real. That girl out to silk or that boy
- 10:47Speaker 4: out of Houston got his hat back on today? Something
- 10:49Speaker 4: going wrong, ladies and gentlemen, and Timmy the legend that
- 10:53Speaker 4: is Junior. What's on your mind today? Or you just
- 10:56Speaker 4: want to keep it a secret that why you will
- 10:58Speaker 4: you at couldn't take it. That's not that's not what
- 11:01Speaker 4: it is, because it couldn't take you no more. Go ahead,
- 11:03Speaker 4: now it got cold. Now that's not it.
- 11:06Speaker 7: But I do need to want I want to ask
- 11:08Speaker 7: you something. I do you know on your climb to success?
- 11:12Speaker 7: How did you handle all the naysayers that told you
- 11:15Speaker 7: you wouldn't make it? And what's the worst thing they've
- 11:17Speaker 7: ever said?
- 11:18Speaker 4: I use it as fuel. I use it as fuel.
- 11:22Speaker 8: You know.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Sometimes, man, you get blockades and naysayers, you get haters,
- 11:27Speaker 4: you get or detours, you get setbacks, because what you
- 11:35Speaker 4: need along the way, and the reason you have these
- 11:38Speaker 4: people and these things that happen that's supposed to throw
- 11:41Speaker 4: you off course is because you need that experience to
- 11:46Speaker 4: strengthen you for the journey ahead. And so once you
- 11:50Speaker 4: get over these hurdles like this, it gives you the
- 11:54Speaker 4: fuel that you need to further your journey because now
- 11:58Speaker 4: you have an understand that you can get through it,
- 12:02Speaker 4: and it comes to you in waves and steps, and
- 12:05Speaker 4: the first thing you get through is not that hard,
- 12:07Speaker 4: and then the next thing is a little bit harder.
- 12:10Speaker 4: And to finally, man, there is nothing, nothing that can
- 12:15Speaker 4: happen because you've built up a track record and then
- 12:18Speaker 4: the understanding of who you are, and it was created
- 12:21Speaker 4: by God, by these circumstances, by these haters. Now I
- 12:25Speaker 4: don't care what you say. It done got to the
- 12:28Speaker 4: point now where I don't care what you say now.
- 12:32Speaker 4: I was doing an interview the other day because we
- 12:35Speaker 4: were getting ready for celebrity family Feud, and one of
- 12:38Speaker 4: the interviewers say, you seem to be such a motivational speaker,
- 12:42Speaker 4: and let me ask you a question, how do you
- 12:45Speaker 4: deal with all of the haters out there to some
- 12:49Speaker 4: of the things that are said about you online? I said,
- 12:52Speaker 4: I really don't care, I said, and I mean that,
- 12:55Speaker 4: I really don't care. Now I'm human. Do I like it?
- 12:58Speaker 5: No?
- 12:58Speaker 4: But I don't care because it doesn't move me in
- 13:01Speaker 4: either direction. Because I've discovered that no matter what they say,
- 13:06Speaker 4: and no matter what nobody say about show life, you
- 13:09Speaker 4: need to understand this what God has for you, there
- 13:14Speaker 4: is nothing that a man can do to stop what
- 13:19Speaker 4: God has for you. It's yours, man, man, And what's
- 13:23Speaker 4: I understood that? Man? So what do I care about
- 13:25Speaker 4: what you're talking about?
- 13:26Speaker 6: Me?
- 13:27Speaker 4: Wasting your time? Matter of fact, we're not even in
- 13:29Speaker 4: the same lead. So I'll tell you another story later on.
- 13:33Speaker 2: That's it all right, Thank you. Great answer to that question, Steve.
- 13:37Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:40Speaker 9: hear from the nephew as he runs that prank back

- 14:37Speaker 8: got to have our owly name like this. I'm sorry,

- 14:46Speaker 8: to do, but it's not going to have my baby name.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Oh no, oh no, no, no your name. No no,
- 14:52Speaker 4: let's go cat dog one baby name for school. Let's go.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Hello.
- 14:58Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to reach out. Uh, Patricia, Patricia?
- 15:03Speaker 8: Who is this?
- 15:03Speaker 4: How you doing?
- 15:04Speaker 6: Listen? My name is Floyd Floyd. I want to give
- 15:07Speaker 6: you a call. Your your daughter, she attends middle school?
- 15:10Speaker 5: Right?
- 15:11Speaker 10: What's your name.
- 15:11Speaker 6: Again, Floyd Floyd?
- 15:13Speaker 10: Uh huh okay?
- 15:13Speaker 4: What can I just like?
- 15:15Speaker 6: Uh, well, like I said, your your daughter she goes
- 15:17Speaker 6: she do go to middle school, right, yeah, okay, Now
- 15:20Speaker 6: her name her name is Dereka.
- 15:22Speaker 10: Why you need to know that?
- 15:23Speaker 8: Okay?
- 15:24Speaker 10: Well, ain't something wrong or something?
- 15:26Speaker 3: No?
- 15:26Speaker 6: No, uh no, no, nothing wrong. I mean I don't
- 15:28Speaker 6: mean the alarm, You're nothing like that. But let me
- 15:30Speaker 6: see what's you call me? Well, here's the situation. My
- 15:35Speaker 6: daughter actually goes to middle school along along with with
- 15:39Speaker 6: your daughter. Okay, and and it's it's a bit of
- 15:43Speaker 6: a problem that that that has arisen that me and
- 15:45Speaker 6: my wife just found out about.
- 15:47Speaker 10: Okay, what they have some issues Derek and your baby
- 15:50Speaker 10: in in some kind of like trouble or something.
- 15:53Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, nothing like that.
- 15:56Speaker 10: But I may it don't food with nobody at that school.
- 15:58Speaker 10: She don't mess with nobody. She own the honor row
- 16:01Speaker 10: and everything. I don't have no problems out of Derreka.
- 16:03Speaker 6: Right, okay, let me know. Let me tell you, miss
- 16:09Speaker 6: miss Patricia, what the problem is. See, my daughter name
- 16:12Speaker 6: is Dereka. Okay, so, and and it just blew me
- 16:16Speaker 6: and my wife away that it was another Derreka that
- 16:19Speaker 6: went to school.
- 16:21Speaker 10: Okay, all right, I don't know too many derekas that's
- 16:24Speaker 10: the unique name. That's cute, okay, right.
- 16:27Speaker 6: Right, Well here's the problem me and my wife Actually,
- 16:30Speaker 6: you know, when it was time to name my child,
- 16:32Speaker 6: we thought we was really picking the name that nobody
- 16:35Speaker 6: uh would have a pick out for their daughter. And
- 16:38Speaker 6: to have another Dereka in the school that blew us away.
- 16:41Speaker 6: And I guess the real reason why I'm trying to
- 16:43Speaker 6: call you, miss Patricia c is if if there's something
- 16:47Speaker 6: maybe we can work out, you know, maybe like your
- 16:50Speaker 6: Dereka does middle name or nickname she can be called
- 16:55Speaker 6: by in opposed to both of them being Dereka. You
- 16:59Speaker 6: really want to our child to be the only one
- 17:01Speaker 6: with this name?
- 17:01Speaker 10: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait for now you calling me
- 17:05Speaker 10: and you asking me to change my baby's name, Well.
- 17:08Speaker 6: I mean you you ain't really got to legally change
- 17:10Speaker 6: I mean, but just start calling us something else you know?
- 17:13Speaker 10: No, No, wait a minute, say what you the name
- 17:16Speaker 10: in police or something? Do you know how many ants
- 17:19Speaker 10: and lewis this? And Patricia's out there? What if I
- 17:21Speaker 10: asked everything in the United States to change their name
- 17:24Speaker 10: from Patricia did? How crazy that is?

- 35:00Speaker 2: Of course, Yes, the King is.
- 35:01Speaker 4: Here visiting your king.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Guess we don't get we have a president. This is
- 35:07Speaker 2: a democracy.
- 35:08Speaker 4: That's not what he told Charles.
- 35:10Speaker 2: He not a monarchy.
- 35:14Speaker 4: Yeah, he said kill it clearly, he said to King
- 35:17Speaker 4: Charles in privacy is wonderful to meet a fellow king.
- 35:20Speaker 9: He said, wow, you have the inside scoop. So he
- 35:29Speaker 9: does call himself king? Uh, Donald Trump? Behind closed the
- 35:33Speaker 9: cost Trump.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Thinks he's the king. How do you think why he's behaving?
- 35:36Speaker 4: That's one, isn't it?
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeahs, no road nothing.
- 35:39Speaker 4: He doesn't confer with anyone.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Just all that.
- 35:42Speaker 4: That just pushing buttons and pulling strings. What an incredible
- 35:47Speaker 4: man you all have been elected to all though that.
- 35:49Speaker 4: I don't know how you do it. It is amazing
- 35:54Speaker 4: to now we've all over here in London been trying
- 35:56Speaker 4: to figure out how can you be a convicted Fela
- 35:59Speaker 4: and being du antoination never happened over here. You've already
- 36:04Speaker 4: gotten in trouble. Got this one boy in trouble because
- 36:07Speaker 4: him to Epstein Fils, and you all have somehow managed
- 36:10Speaker 4: to get his name taken out of everything. That is
- 36:14Speaker 4: amazing to me. You don't believe him to be in that. Wow.
- 36:19Speaker 9: So you know there was a big White House state
- 36:22Speaker 9: dinner to honor the King and Queen here in the US.
- 36:27Speaker 4: All that we didn't enjoy it at all. The King
- 36:30Speaker 4: and Queen were very upset.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Why what was wrong? You didn't like the food?
- 36:35Speaker 4: Donald Trump? You all don't know it, but he had
- 36:38Speaker 4: McDonald's body. Well it's right, Oh my god, the gloruble
- 36:46Speaker 4: dinner and the pies were cold, and I don't know
- 36:49Speaker 4: if you've ever eaten no cold McDonald fry, but it's
- 36:52Speaker 4: like a shoelace this what.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Did have tea?
- 36:57Speaker 4: So we washed it all down hundred. Well, we're heading back.
- 37:02Speaker 2: There, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, thank you, Earl of Attingham.
- 37:07Speaker 2: We've missed you.
- 37:08Speaker 4: I have to go now, Turtles take out. Tell y'all
- 37:10Speaker 4: that hell.
- 37:12Speaker 9: Coming up at twenty minutes after we'll talk about please
- 37:16Speaker 9: the ghosting epidemic. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 37:21Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think about the people who mean
- 37:29Speaker 9: the most to you. Giving them valuable protection is a
- 37:32Speaker 9: great gift you can offer, and Globe Life Insurance can
- 37:35Speaker 9: make it easy. With Globelife coverage, there's no medical exam,

- 37:49Speaker 9: That's one eight hundred two five one fifty four hundred
- 37:52Speaker 9: or globelifradio dot com. Well, I don't know if you
- 37:55Speaker 9: guys have heard about this, but apparently there's a ghosting epidemic.
- 38:00Speaker 9: Have you cut off a family member or friend? Because
- 38:03Speaker 9: it's becoming more and more common now. According to a
- 38:07Speaker 9: new survey, thirty eight percent of Americans have gone no
- 38:11Speaker 9: contact with a friend or family member in the past year.
- 38:15Speaker 9: While cutting ties was once just for extreme situations extreme situations,
- 38:20Speaker 9: it now seems to be the go to move for
- 38:23Speaker 9: handling everyday drama. In fact, seventy three percent of people
- 38:27Speaker 9: admit their first instinct during a rough patch is just
- 38:30Speaker 9: pull away rather than talk it through, and once that
- 38:33Speaker 9: cord is cut, it usually stays that way, with the
- 38:37Speaker 9: majority of respondents still not speaking to the person they
- 38:40Speaker 9: broke away from.
- 38:41Speaker 2: So what do you guys think about that?
- 38:43Speaker 4: Junior?
- 38:44Speaker 7: Dear Gangs, and why Julian because he locked up the
- 38:48Speaker 7: judge goat made us ghost the judge.
- 38:51Speaker 4: He's gone ten years, Dear Games, what Ruston Martin? He
- 38:55Speaker 4: and jail? Yeah? Yeah, but can't you just stopped calling
- 39:02Speaker 4: asking for money? Though he could do that?
- 39:05Speaker 7: Yeah, Derrick Gaes, thank you, I appreciate it.
- 39:10Speaker 4: I don't have one though, No way, I ain't doing
- 39:13Speaker 4: that ghost that I know, I know you're talking about
- 39:22Speaker 4: you not Oh you don't have time to go through
- 39:26Speaker 4: all the names? Is that what?
- 39:27Speaker 6: You?
- 39:28Speaker 4: Go ahead? Pick one, pick one that you know though, Yeah.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Do that for all of us, because I'm not saying.
- 39:38Speaker 4: A fight.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, we can't say run.
- 39:42Speaker 4: I can't say your friend's name Tom because they be listening.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Well can't say it either. That's why he can't. Yes,
- 39:52Speaker 2: that's why I can't say it and me.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 9: So so what about the whole ghosting phenomenon, let's just
- 39:58Speaker 9: stick there, Okay? Why do people ghost each other? I mean,
- 40:02Speaker 9: they don't want to commitment, they don't want it. They
- 40:04Speaker 9: just don't want to deal with it anymore.
- 40:06Speaker 4: What is the issue with this? A lot of people
- 40:09Speaker 4: try to avoid confrontation. Yeah, you know, I'm just bouncing now.
- 40:15Speaker 4: I don't want to explain it out. I don't want
- 40:17Speaker 4: to with you at all. What I did? How you feel?
- 40:22Speaker 4: I don't care. I'm gone.
- 40:24Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 40:25Speaker 4: Some people, when they done it, don't even it doesn't
- 40:27Speaker 4: even need a discussion. It's just done.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Uh huh, just done.
- 40:31Speaker 9: You the other person is owed some sort of explanation
- 40:35Speaker 9: as to why you see right there, I'm asking.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Men, don't then don't look at closure and women require
- 40:44Speaker 4: closure and we rather just be going, I'm out. What
- 40:46Speaker 4: difference it require? I'm out and coming back?
- 40:49Speaker 3: What you need to know?
- 40:50Speaker 4: But why that's why Barkley and Jordan was fifteen years
- 40:54Speaker 4: and what is it?
- 40:55Speaker 3: Nothing?
- 40:57Speaker 9: All right, guys, coming up, Yeah, it is coming up.
- 41:02Speaker 9: In thirty four minutes after the hour. We're going to
- 41:04Speaker 9: check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 41:08Speaker 9: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve, right after this.
- 41:11Speaker 4: And don't bring this up no more.
- 41:13Speaker 2: You'd be quiet. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:23Speaker 9: All right, Steve, it's time now to check your voicemail
- 41:25Speaker 9: at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 41:27Speaker 2: You can call and leave a message. You might just
- 41:29Speaker 2: hear your call on the air now.
- 41:32Speaker 9: Birth both the first Lady and the President want ABC
- 41:35Speaker 9: to fire Jimmy Kimmel. You've heard about this, basically claiming
- 41:39Speaker 9: he made a joke about assassination attempt on the president.
- 41:43Speaker 9: During his alternative White House Core correspondence dinner last week,
- 41:49Speaker 9: Jimmy Kimmel joked that Milania had a quote glow like
- 41:53Speaker 9: an expectant widow. Kimmel said the joke was about the
- 41:57Speaker 9: couple's age difference, not violence, and noting his long standing
- 42:01Speaker 9: opposition to gun violence.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Okay, we have a call about that, Steve. It's Michael
- 42:06Speaker 2: from Alabama.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Yes, it's Mike Alabama Morning. It's a train. They're trying
- 42:12Speaker 4: to fight this man, Tim Kndle, Uh the whole at
- 42:15Speaker 4: night show.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Okay, your president Trump called Obama them monkey.
- 42:21Speaker 4: Why he can't get fired?
- 42:22Speaker 2: That man should not be fired, that man should he
- 42:25Speaker 2: keep his job for shame?
- 42:27Speaker 4: Then say a thing and talk about in any kind
- 42:29Speaker 4: of way.
- 42:30Speaker 2: This man had wont to be joking. He's been joking.
- 42:33Speaker 2: I mean, is that's very good?
- 42:34Speaker 4: Fired?
- 42:39Speaker 2: H can be serious at all?
- 42:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I understand what he's saying, and he's he's correct.
- 42:54Speaker 4: But here's here was the mistake of the joke. Jimmy
- 42:57Speaker 4: Kimmel was referring to the age, but it came came
- 43:00Speaker 4: out the same night as the dinner and the shooting,
- 43:07Speaker 4: so they thought he had wrote the joke about that,
- 43:10Speaker 4: and he didn't. But Milania wants him fired, and Trump
- 43:17Speaker 4: wants him fired. And I agree with the caller. But
- 43:19Speaker 4: the amount of indecency that has come from this very
- 43:24Speaker 4: president's mouth to call because you want somebody fired because
- 43:29Speaker 4: they said something indecent. You can't count the indecent statements
- 43:35Speaker 4: that this president has made. And there's been no consequences
- 43:38Speaker 4: at all, none, And nobody's trying to produce consequences on
- 43:43Speaker 4: this man. And because they're scared of him, he can
- 43:46Speaker 4: call white women reporters on plane fat pig to her face,
- 43:54Speaker 4: the Obamas's monkeys, he Christ, no apology, ain't no, oh wow,
- 44:01Speaker 4: I'm sorry that got out. None of that. It's always
- 44:05Speaker 4: really and we're doing all the animals in a line case.
- 44:09Speaker 4: But wen't no monkeys in that though, right, yeah, so,
- 44:14Speaker 4: you know, and it's always something with him. So and
- 44:16Speaker 4: it's amazing how they jump on board with this guy.
- 44:20Speaker 4: I'm stunned. I'm actually the.
- 44:22Speaker 2: World in which we live, Steve, Unfortunately.
- 44:28Speaker 1: It's unbelievable. And now you see this mag of voter
- 44:32Speaker 1: apology tour.
- 44:34Speaker 4: Where have you seen that?
- 44:36Speaker 1: With Tucker Carlson and Megan Kelly and Candice Oldwins and
- 44:40Speaker 1: all of them saying they shouldn't have supported him and
- 44:44Speaker 1: shouldn't have told, you know, people to vote for him.
- 44:49Speaker 4: Now, yeah, y'all, you know what, y'all, I think it's
- 44:55Speaker 4: a good thing.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Really, I do.
- 44:58Speaker 4: I think it's a good thing because somebody got to
- 45:01Speaker 4: wake up and go I was wrong. Now, I know
- 45:04Speaker 4: it seems like but whatever. I'm glad somebody is saying
- 45:08Speaker 4: I was wrong, and somebody that was so deeply entrenched
- 45:12Speaker 4: into the back of movement they were I'm glad to
- 45:16Speaker 4: hear somebody say they were wrong. And we as Democrats,
- 45:19Speaker 4: we got to quit playing this game of decency because
- 45:23Speaker 4: they not playing it.
- 45:24Speaker 2: But don't you think so much damage is done.
- 45:27Speaker 9: That's why we were saying it's too late, because it's
- 45:30Speaker 9: so much damage done.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Now now you want to apologize, you know it's so
- 45:35Speaker 2: much Yeah, surely so.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Yeah. It ain't nobody saying I don't care, man, I
- 45:44Speaker 4: want to play the game.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Just like playing chess, ches no rule.
- 45:50Speaker 4: They're not playing. They playing a whole nothing. They dirty, man,
- 45:54Speaker 4: And we're always trying to be clean and decent. Oh
- 45:56Speaker 4: now they want to come over here, you know I
- 45:58Speaker 4: want them over here.
- 45:59Speaker 9: Come on, come on, Steve, he comes, Hey, Candace, the
- 46:08Speaker 9: apology to her? All right, thank you guys. Coming up
- 46:11Speaker 9: next is the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right
- 46:14Speaker 9: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 46:23Speaker 9: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:26Speaker 9: four minutes after. It's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 46:30Speaker 9: the subject is she talks too much.
- 46:33Speaker 2: She talks too much.
- 46:35Speaker 9: We'll get into it, find out exactly what's going on
- 46:38Speaker 9: there with her doing all this talking. But right now,
- 46:41Speaker 9: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 46:44Speaker 3: What you got for us?
- 46:44Speaker 2: Neph one?
- 46:46Speaker 8: Little tense right here, y'all, let me know what you think.
- 46:48Speaker 8: What do y'all think about relationships having a lot of detectives?
- 46:54Speaker 2: Wow, so there's no trust at all?
- 46:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we.
- 46:59Speaker 8: Got We want you to come down here and take
- 47:02Speaker 8: this test so we can see what's been going on
- 47:04Speaker 8: in the relationship.
- 47:05Speaker 2: Oh, I thought they were giving it to each other. Okay,
- 47:07Speaker 2: they're going to let a professional adminis.
- 47:10Speaker 8: It's a professional. That's the professional that's doing it. And
- 47:13Speaker 8: I'm gonna call the husb. Okay, got it and tell
- 47:16Speaker 8: him to come on boyfriend, husband, come on down here.
- 47:18Speaker 8: But yeah, we just want to see what's going on.
- 47:20Speaker 8: You know, would you take it? Would you take it?
- 47:25Speaker 2: I'm breaking up, I'm breaking.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Up with you.
- 47:28Speaker 2: They're not admissible in the court of law.
- 47:30Speaker 5: Right.
- 47:31Speaker 4: This ain't by no court. This ain't by no court
- 47:33Speaker 4: about this. This ain't bout no court. This is about
- 47:36Speaker 4: this ain't got nothing to do with no court. This
- 47:38Speaker 4: ain't got that.

- 47:40Speaker 4: That yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. This ain't no crime. This,
- 47:43Speaker 4: this is this about is you lying? That's what this about.

- 48:45Speaker 8: months here. She's are we able to get you to
- 48:47Speaker 8: come into this to the office?
- 48:50Speaker 5: Uh?
- 48:52Speaker 6: And when?
- 48:52Speaker 5: Uh?
- 48:53Speaker 8: Sometime next week. Actually, Dorothy and I have had a conversation.
- 48:56Speaker 8: She let me know the things that you guys are
- 48:58Speaker 8: going through, and what she's trying to do is get
- 49:01Speaker 8: you to come in and actually take a lot of
- 49:02Speaker 8: detectives tests next week. Excuse me, she would like for
- 49:05Speaker 8: you to come in and take a lot of detective
- 49:07Speaker 8: test next week.
- 49:09Speaker 11: You want me to take a lot?
- 49:11Speaker 6: This is what she said.
- 49:12Speaker 8: This is what Dorothy has agreed upon. This is what
- 49:14Speaker 8: she wants to do, and she thinks it's going to
- 49:16Speaker 8: help the relationship.
- 49:17Speaker 11: I'm all about making a relationship work. But I'm not
- 49:20Speaker 11: taking a lot of tickets. I'm sorry, What's what's the
- 49:24Speaker 11: purpose well, a lot of tickets? I ain't done nothing?
- 49:26Speaker 4: Long? Is there is there anything that you're hiding?
- 49:28Speaker 11: Ken, I'm not hiding anything. But what's the purpose of
- 49:31Speaker 11: me taking a lot of take the test if I
- 49:33Speaker 11: ain't did nothing? I mean, this is something whose bright
- 49:37Speaker 11: idea was this?
- 49:38Speaker 8: This is something that Dorothy wants to and you know,
- 49:40Speaker 8: put within the relationships she wants you to take a
- 49:42Speaker 8: lot of detective tests.
- 49:43Speaker 11: Oh no, I'm not taking on a lot of ticket Bro.
- 49:45Speaker 11: I'm sorry.
- 49:46Speaker 8: I mean I am the one that suggested it to
- 49:49Speaker 8: her because it helps the relationship.
- 49:50Speaker 4: So so so.
- 49:54Speaker 11: You suggested to my wife that I take a lot
- 49:58Speaker 11: of ticket tests. She's not taking a lot to.
- 50:01Speaker 6: Take a test.
- 50:01Speaker 4: Ken, I've heard everything that's going on with you guys. Relationship.
- 50:04Speaker 11: No no, no, no, no, no, no, no no no.
- 50:07Speaker 11: I'm asking the question, why do I have to take
- 50:10Speaker 11: a lot of texture tests and she does not? With
- 50:13Speaker 11: the counselors.
- 50:14Speaker 4: Would you like for me to have her take a
- 50:15Speaker 4: test as well?
- 50:16Speaker 11: We both need to take a test. That's the case
- 50:18Speaker 11: that I'm not taking.
- 50:19Speaker 1: This on my own.
- 50:20Speaker 4: Is there anything anything that you've done.
- 50:23Speaker 11: Ken that you're that you don't Bro, I haven't done anything.
- 50:26Speaker 11: This is this is crazy, like it doesn't make any
- 50:29Speaker 11: sense whatsoever.
- 50:31Speaker 4: I can when when?
- 50:32Speaker 6: When? When?
- 50:32Speaker 11: When did y'all talk about this?
- 50:34Speaker 4: We had a conversation earlier today today today.
- 50:37Speaker 11: Sure, I'm gonna have to call her to this don't
- 50:39Speaker 11: make no sense. We don't have to be a zoom
- 50:42Speaker 11: zoom meeting or something, because Ken is not about to
- 50:44Speaker 11: take no about to take a till.
- 50:46Speaker 8: Dorothy wants to start with a clean slate, and and
- 50:49Speaker 8: that's when I'm starting.
- 50:51Speaker 11: I'm starting with the what's your name again? I don't
- 50:53Speaker 11: call you the name. What's your name again? My name
- 50:55Speaker 11: is doctor Pritchell, Pritcher bro I'm not taking on to
- 50:58Speaker 11: take you. You would take a lot of texture tests,
- 51:01Speaker 11: but I'm not taking it. I don't need to take
- 51:04Speaker 11: no lot of take the tills. Okay, but but don't
- 51:06Speaker 11: you haven't done anything wrong. But now my past sing
- 51:09Speaker 11: is squeaky clean. But I ain't taking no tap.
- 51:13Speaker 4: Okay, but now that's blacker. Now it seems like you
- 51:16Speaker 4: have something to hide, can't.
- 51:18Speaker 11: I'm not hiding nothing, Devin. I know I'm not taking
- 51:21Speaker 11: no lighter text or tests, sir.
- 51:23Speaker 4: Okay, listen, if you're not, if you're not willing to
- 51:25Speaker 4: take the test, I have to go back. I have
- 51:28Speaker 4: to go back, Dorothy.
- 51:29Speaker 6: Though you are not.
- 51:32Speaker 4: You're not ready to have a clean slate in this relationship.
- 51:34Speaker 11: I don't give what you say or do, but I'm
- 51:38Speaker 11: not taking a blood text.
- 51:40Speaker 4: So but Dorothy wants she can take one.
- 51:44Speaker 11: Now I'll take you. She wants to take a test
- 51:46Speaker 11: by all means take the something, but you know who
- 51:49Speaker 11: not taking the DEVI can not taking that?
- 51:52Speaker 8: Explain this? Why are you being offensive about this? Why

- 56:46Speaker 9: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject she talks too much.
- 56:51Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a sixty six year old mother
- 56:53Speaker 9: of two grown women. My husband passed away five years ago,
- 56:57Speaker 9: so I've been enjoying being single and dating when I
- 57:00Speaker 9: want to. Sex is a very important part of my
- 57:03Speaker 9: life still, but I can't get it as frequently as
- 57:06Speaker 9: I would like to because my daughter and her new
- 57:09Speaker 9: husband moved in with me. They got married three months ago,
- 57:12Speaker 9: and I allowed them to stay with me while they
- 57:15Speaker 9: renovate their home. I love having them here with me.
- 57:19Speaker 9: It gives me a chance to show my daughter how
- 57:21Speaker 9: to be a wife. We have been cooking together and
- 57:24Speaker 9: her new husband loves her food. They're my recipes, of course,
- 57:28Speaker 9: but he doesn't give me any credit. I now have
- 57:31Speaker 9: a built in housekeeper and a yard man since they
- 57:35Speaker 9: moved in. Her husband grew up in the projects and
- 57:37Speaker 9: he never He had never cut grass before, so I
- 57:40Speaker 9: showed him how to do it. He also washes all
- 57:43Speaker 9: three of our cars every weekend because that's what men
- 57:46Speaker 9: are expected to do. They are living together for the
- 57:50Speaker 9: first time, so they're working out the kinks. The only
- 57:53Speaker 9: issue I see is that my daughter talks too much
- 57:56Speaker 9: in and out of the bedroom. I told her that
- 57:59Speaker 9: men and don't like all of that talking, especially during sex.
- 58:03Speaker 9: I can hear her every night across the hall talking
- 58:06Speaker 9: non stop during sex.
- 58:08Speaker 2: She tells him what to do and how to do it.
- 58:11Speaker 9: She gives him too much praise while he's quiet as
- 58:14Speaker 9: a church mouse. I suggested that she speaks softly and
- 58:18Speaker 9: not talk as much during intimacy, and she took it
- 58:21Speaker 9: the wrong way. I was not trying to embarrass her.
- 58:24Speaker 9: I'm just making sure she keeps her husband as long
- 58:27Speaker 9: as I kept mind. How do I get her to
- 58:30Speaker 9: realize that I'm a concerned mom and I meant no harm. Well, Mom,
- 58:36Speaker 9: I don't care. Well that's easy, Mom, that's easy, But
- 58:42Speaker 9: you might not want to hear it. Okay, The answer
- 58:45Speaker 9: is simple. You have to get out of their business.
- 58:49Speaker 9: You have to leave them alone. You know your intentions
- 58:53Speaker 9: are good, you say, and I know they probably are
- 58:58Speaker 9: to you too, but you have to keep those opinion
- 59:00Speaker 9: to yourself. Your daughter doesn't want to hear it. She's
- 59:03Speaker 9: feeling judged by you, and yes she resents it. Hopefully
- 59:06Speaker 9: they will stay together for a long time, but in
- 59:09Speaker 9: life experience we've all come to know is the best teacher,
- 59:14Speaker 9: not the mom who wants her daughter to have a
- 59:16Speaker 9: marriage as long as she had. Sorry, Mom, but you
- 59:18Speaker 9: can't compare the two. You guys are two different people.
- 59:21Speaker 9: So yeah, Mom, you gotta let all this go. Let
- 59:24Speaker 9: your daughter be who she is in and outside of
- 59:27Speaker 9: the bedroom, and keep your disapproval to yourself. Just let
- 59:31Speaker 9: her know that you will be there for her if
- 59:34Speaker 9: she needs anything, Be supportive, but stay out of their business.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Mom, Steve, you know what I think in this letter.
- 59:40Speaker 4: I think that the mother needs a friend. She needs
- 59:44Speaker 4: several friends, she needs some girlfriends, she need a male friend,
- 59:47Speaker 4: she needs everybody, because she done wrote us a letter
- 59:49Speaker 4: that really ain't none of our business, right, and it's
- 59:52Speaker 4: really because it's ain got nothing to do with her.
- 59:54Speaker 4: Uh Uh, it ain't you done wrote some stuff that
- 59:57Speaker 4: you just ain't your business, it ain't our and now
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: you have made it your daughter and your son in
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: law's business.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: And I don't.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: I don't. I don't want to do this letter. I don't,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: I don't care. Listen, I'm finn cry listen you sixty
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: six years old? But okay, see, first of all, let
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: me show you how much this don't matter. I'm a
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: sixty six year old mother of two grown women. Okay,
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: my husband passed away five years ago. I've been enjoying
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: being single and dayton when I want to. Sex is
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: very important part of my life, but still I can't
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: get it as But still I can't get it as
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: frequently as I want to. Sex is very important part
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: of my life. But still I can't get as as
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: frequently as I would like. You because my daughter and
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: her new husband moved in with me. What is this
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: information for? See? I don't understand that you want sex
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: and you can't get it. And you sixty six and
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: you got two grown daughters. What do this have to
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: do with?
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: What did?
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: And then here we go with some most of them
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: they got married three months ago. I allowed them to
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: stay with me while they renovate their home. I love
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: having them here with me. Make up your mind, up
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: your mind because it's fitting the turn. I love having
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: them here with me. It gives me a chance to
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: show my daughter how to be a wife. Wait a minute,
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: did your daughter move in from that for that? Or
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: did your daughter move in so she could get her
- 1:01:37Speaker 4: house renovated? But guess what the grand der mama that
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: made it about this is a chance to show me.
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: She'll let me to show her how to be a wife.
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: Don't nobody want to be liked you? Sixty six? We
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: have been cooking together and her new husband loves my food,
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: that my recipes, of course, but he don't give me
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: any credit? Or where are we going with this?
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: Lady?
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: What is this letter about? Because if you trying to
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: show her how to be a good wife, and you're
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: teaching her how to cook, why are you concerned with
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: You don't get no credit and they my recipes. I
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: now have a built in housekeeper and a yard man
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: since they moved in. What, lady, why did you write
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: us what?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: She's all over the place?
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: I mean she crazy. Her husband grew up in the
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: project and he ain't never cut grass before, so I
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: showed him how to do it. Now as you're showing
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: your daughter how to be a good wife, or you
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: showing this boy how to be a man. Tell me
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: what you want to do, because you have turned this
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: into your personal project, and that's not why they moved in. No, no,
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: this ain't the only issue. You are the entire issue
- 1:03:00Speaker 4: in this letter.
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: Hang on, we'll have part two of your response coming
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: Subject she talks too much. We'll get back into it
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:52Speaker 9: talks too much?
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: No a subject, ain't she talks too much? The subject
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: is you talk too much? See you talk too much? Lady?
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: You just information that we don't need you sixty six
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: years old, your husband passed five years ago. You got
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: two grown women. One of them came to live with
- 1:04:13Speaker 4: you with her husband because they renovating their house. You
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: and what being single, because you like dating that sex
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: is a very important part of your life. But you
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: can't have sex no more because you got these people
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: in your house. Now you turn around and say, I
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: love having them here, but that's why they're here. But
- 1:04:29Speaker 4: then you start finding out everything is wrong. But you
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: done took it on as a self project of yours.
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: So now you're trying to teach this little girl how
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: to be a wife. And she gave her all your
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: recipes and she cooking now and the husband loves it
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: and compliments her on it. And he don't give me
- 1:04:46Speaker 4: no credit. They are my recipes. Okay. Now, a minute
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: ago you said he's gonna try to help her be
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: a good wife. Now you on, now you want credit
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: for being a counselor. I don't understand. I just don't
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: understand the letter. I don't understand where you're going with this.
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: Why did you write us? And then you're sitting up
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: in here talking about now you got to build in
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: house keeper in the yard. Man since they moved in.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: Because her husband grew up in the projects and he
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: ain't never cut no grass before, so I showed him
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: how to do that, and he washed our cars every
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: weekend because that's what me and are expected to do.
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: What the title of the letter is that she talks
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: too much? She ain't said nothing yet, but you dragging
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: us through all these kids' business, and it ain't our
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: business or your business. And now they are living together
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: for the first time, so they working out the kinks.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: The only issue I see is that my daughter talked
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: too much. Well, I'll be well, what did the daughter say? Well,
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: let's try to find out she talks too much in
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: and out of the bedroom. I'd have told her the
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: men that don't. Men don't like all that talking, especially
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: during sex where you get that from your man. Didn't
- 1:06:15Speaker 4: like that talking because you talk too much. I don't
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: know if you notice or not, Mama, But the reason
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: they living together is probably cause they hand sex before.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: And I'm pretty sure she was talking to him then
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: and he asked her to marry her. Because you know what,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: he might like all that talking. It might be making
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: him feel feel real good about himself. Then I can
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: hear every night across the hall talking non stop doing sex.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: I don't know, mom.
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Yes, she tells him what to do and how to
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: do it. She give him too much praise? What Yes,
- 1:06:59Speaker 4: she gives him too much praise. Wait a minute, here
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: we go, smack me, smack me, Wait a minute? Told
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: me to me? I guess, tell me, wool you strong?
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: See that's too much praise?
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Is a mom at the door?
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: Yes, she got a heap against the dom. Yes, if
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: you hear every word, because if you because if you
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: can hear every word through two does in a hallway?
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: Spik me?
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Is she in the room with them?
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Oh? You better do that?
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Okay, just a little bit.
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: I ain't know too much. She too much. She gives
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: him too much praise while he's quiet as a church mouse.
- 1:07:46Speaker 4: I suggested that she speaks softly, not talk as much
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: doing intimacy as she took it the wrong way. You
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: think how else was she supposed to take it? First
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: of all, she had found out that you listening to everything, Yeah,
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: that you keyed in on everything, And now you sitting't
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: have been here telling her what she's doing the wrong way.
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: I was not trying to embarrass her. Well, you did.
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: I'm just making sure she keeps her husband as long
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: as I kept mind. What I can promise you your
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: husband has somebody else. I could just tell her by
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: this day.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: She was on his nerves.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: I can assure you your husband had somebody else. Lady,
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: I got all more problem now.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: He gone, Yes, five years gone.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: But if you review your relationship, that are signs you
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: have asked him many times, where have you been?
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: That is so crazy?
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: And he told you he's down at the car wash.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: No he wasn't, No, he wasn't. How do I get
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: her to realize that I'm a concerned mom and I

- 1:11:57Speaker 4: First you can ask you can ask doctor Corey Herbert. Yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 4: you know he already donated. Why you didn't say that
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: I've done no, no.
- 1:12:09Speaker 7: Because they wanted to know from him, like they was like,
- 1:12:12Speaker 7: he really hard on Junior with the sickle sale jokes.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Why you didn't back him up?
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: I did, I did.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: I brought it to him.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: I brought it to him.
- 1:12:20Speaker 7: I just wanted wanted him to respond in his own words.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: I know he's don't. I know that's not even to do.

- 1:12:34Speaker 4: don't go. Hey, y'all need to pull up. Y'all don't
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: know what uncle do for sickle sale. That the problem
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: to me, because you know that's how Junior do. Man,
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: I can't leave. How they be talking about you at
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: the bober shop that I do? That's what he do? Yeah,
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: they do be talking about you, uncle, but talking about

- 1:12:56Speaker 4: you don't know him? What about that?
- 1:12:58Speaker 5: Okay?
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Did you hear the note?
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: Do you here to tell mister Harvey to donate to
- 1:13:02Speaker 7: your foundation if he's to continue the sickle cell jokes?
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: That's I was I listening for the donation.
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Okay, but you oh, whether I donate to your foundation
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: or not, these jokes are still coming now. Are you
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: saying I had to pay for the right?
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: That's what stop?

- 1:13:44Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Hey, man, if I do.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: That right in here anymore? All right?
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: Come on? Raising for all.
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: These operations and all these everybody said nothing.
- 1:13:56Speaker 9: Social media need some advice, he says, If we don't
- 1:14:00Speaker 9: well the name differently is not special. I will talk
- 1:14:03Speaker 9: about it right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:14:06Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show. This is from Travis on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: Travis says, my wife is five months pregnant and we're
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: getting into some serious baby naming drama. I never thought
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: something like this could be so complicated. We know our
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: baby is going to be a boy, but my wife
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: is insisting that her son's name be special and spelled differently.
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: So like Kyrie, she wants to spell it k A
- 1:14:37Speaker 9: r ee, Isaiah she wants to spell she wants to
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: spell Isaiah e z i a h Malachi.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: She wants to spell me e l l A k Ai.
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: I can go on and on and on.
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: I think this is stupid. Our son will have to
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: explain his name all the time. So what should I
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: I do? Keep going back and forth with her or
- 1:15:03Speaker 9: should I just let her have this one?
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: You want the boy to name to be jeroones that
- 1:15:12Speaker 4: find a way to spell that tricky? Yes, you know people,
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: people always want to do something. This lady's having this baby,
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: so she got a serious vote. Now though she got
- 1:15:27Speaker 4: a real serious vote one caring the baby, I understand
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: what you're saying. Because it's your baby too, and it's
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: a boy. I was gonna tell you it sound like
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: she wanted to be biblical. Man, maybe you need to
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: That's what I Tommy, That's exactly where I was going.
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: I suggest they're away from names because you don't know
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: what the hell of trouble he fit to get in, right,
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Malachi Isaiah all this here, what you don't want is
- 1:16:00Speaker 4: down there now he in prison with that name. Wow,
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: all right, you don't use a biblical name. You need
- 1:16:14Speaker 4: to spell it biblically spell it.
- 1:16:16Speaker 9: Yeah, that's what the dad wants, but the mom, Yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 9: I don't want to spell differently. Yeah, so you say
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: the baby Jerome, okay o, har.
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: Harry.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: If you want a unique name, that's what I suggested.
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: Black people, you won't a really unique name. What you're
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: gonna have to do is go back, okay, and to
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: start renaming your baby's name. They don't use no more okay.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Yeah, Betty Bobby boy, Bobby Bobby.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, you know you gotta get the old black name
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: Otis Cleos Yes, yeah, Sylvester. Yeah, you ain't hear nobody
- 1:17:08Speaker 4: named sevest long.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Long time yeah, long time I think we have time
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: for another one.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: Steve.
- 1:17:14Speaker 9: This is Andre and Steve Harvey FM. He says, my
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: girlfriend and I have been together for about three years
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: and it's always been pretty rocky. A couple of months ago,
- 1:17:22Speaker 9: she got pregnant, and it forced me to really think
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: about what the rest of my life would look like
- 1:17:27Speaker 9: tied to her. I did not like that future for
- 1:17:30Speaker 9: either of us. I realized that long term, this isn't
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: the person I want to build a life with. So
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: when she had a miscarriage, I'd be lying if I
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: said I didn't feel some sense of relief that I'm
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: not locked into a future and locked into that future anymore.
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: Now I'm thinking about ending things and moving out, but
- 1:17:49Speaker 9: my sister says it would be wrong to leave her
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: right after something like this. I actually do love her,
- 1:17:56Speaker 9: and I'm willing to stay for a bit to support her,
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: but I don't want to drag things out when I
- 1:18:01Speaker 9: know how I feel.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: How long? Get out now?

- 1:18:38Speaker 4: All right now, I'm not talking about the misfortunate thing

- 1:25:54Speaker 4: And in this quiet storm moment of closing remarks, I
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: want to include one of my co hosts, Junior, who
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: earlier today called himself taking me to task to bring
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: about the fact that he had gotten a letter from
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: a fellow Sickle Cell member that was getting a little
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: upset with me talking about on the radio show. Why
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: do Steve Harvey be joking with Junior about circle sell
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: And if he's going to do that, why don't Steve
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: Harvey make a donation to your foundation if he's gonna
- 1:26:38Speaker 4: tell the jokes. So what I've decided to do was
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: seeing Junior fifty dollars and let the jokes Speakgie, if
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: that's all it is, you think this is about a
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: mere donation, What do fifty dollars to get me? Well,
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: as ridiculous as that sounds, I've come to the conclusion
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: to let a few people know something when I'm joking
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: with Junior about it is to put levity to the situation.
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: I don't know who all out there deals with sickle Cell,
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: and I'm not talking to you. I've never called a
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: particular person's name. I don't know the children or none
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: of that. But we open up this platform for Junior
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: to freely discuss anything about sickle sell, to support his causes,
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: to uplift his people, And we do that all the
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: time on this show. Every now and then, I will
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: admit I go too far, but I like far far
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: as good. But see, the too far is because of you.
- 1:27:57Speaker 4: See you think it's too far because the line that
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: I keep crossing in your mind is too close. Your
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: line is just below your nose line. Every time you
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: look down you see a line. I don't have that line.
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: My line is way way over there. So when I
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: cross the line, I've just crossed your line. I ain't
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: even got nowhere near mind. So what I'm saying to
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: you is take a chill pill, relax, have a quiet
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: storm moment, enjoy the last. See. The problem with comedy
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: today is everybody is upset about everything. Everybody's super sensitive.
- 1:28:48Speaker 4: You can't joke about this. I can't say nothing about
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: fat people, but if I keep eating, I'm gonna be
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: one of them. You see what I'm saying. I can't
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: say nothing about people because I ain't got none. But
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: then neither do Junior. You see what I'm saying. You
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: see how it goes. So what am I supposed to do?
- 1:29:10Speaker 6: What?
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: We can't talk about people being stupid? They say stupid.
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: You can't use the word stupid no more. But yet,
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: and still we have Tommy every day on this show,
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: just a blaring example of stupidity, admitted stupidity. So what
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: we do on this show is we try to provide
- 1:29:30Speaker 4: levity in moments of controversy and moments of touching moments
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: and subjects to give you a reason to laugh. People
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: with sickle sell and still laugh. I met some really
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: cool people that I've had. I've said some things about it,
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: but it wasn't directed or mean spirited in anybody's child.
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: I've never said a single word about a child having
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: sickle cell, have I. So please don't put your children
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: in the joke that I didn't write for them. Stop
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: interjecting yourself into humor when nobody said your name. You
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: the one keep pulling through that drive through window. You
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: the one, You the reason, and now you mad at me.
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: I didn't know you were listening. I thought you had
- 1:30:24Speaker 4: went to the refrigerator. I didn't know you were still here.
- 1:30:29Speaker 4: I didn't know you had got out because the drive
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: through line was too long, and you went in there
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: to cust somebody out because you didne ordered something that
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: ain't on the menu. They don't make extra crispy chicken nuggets,
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: but all of a sudden, you want extra crispy chicken nuggets.
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: Now you all up at the counter talking about just
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: leave them in there another minute. You the one at Costco,
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: not me. You you the one that got the four
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: hundred piece bag of chicken wings at Costco. That's you
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: that ain't me already pre fried? All you gotta do
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: is heat them up. That's you. You the one that
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: had to make a whole nother cookie sheet out to decide.
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: Don't panel off your car. You don't put that in
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: the oven so you can heat up all your chicken
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: wings at once. But now you mad at me. I
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: don't see it. So for everybody out there, that's suffering
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: within the ill on this or going through some things.
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: These jokes will continue to provide you with a moment
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: of levity. But if you want to sit there and
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: be sad, please, if you can be sad all you want,
- 1:31:42Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, those are my clothes and quiet story remarks.
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: God bless you today. Talk to God today because he
- 1:31:51Speaker 4: would have loved to hear for me, because I'm not listening.
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: Peace out, Thank you.
