- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a suit on giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the million buck things in its true good, it has
- 0:24Speaker 1: to other. Please, I don't join me. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turning you're going. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out to turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your tha uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will a good morning everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man oh man, oh man,
- 2:14Speaker 1: God being good to me. Man. I can't explain it
- 2:17Speaker 1: all really, you know, I want I want to remind
- 2:20Speaker 1: everybody or something that I need reminding of myself all
- 2:23Speaker 1: the time. And I'm I'm dealing with a couple of
- 2:28Speaker 1: things now and I had to remind myself. You know
- 2:32Speaker 1: what I have to remember. I have to constantly remind
- 2:35Speaker 1: myself to stay in constant communication with God. Constant communication
- 2:42Speaker 1: with God. You know sometimes you know, I have a
- 2:45Speaker 1: tendency and maybe we do all the people. I don't know,
- 2:48Speaker 1: but I know for me that when it's going okay,
- 2:52Speaker 1: I slack up in sometimes having conversations with him because
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm not coming to him on the daily with something
- 2:58Speaker 1: that's pressing or something, and I find myself slacking up
- 3:02Speaker 1: in the communication. The danger I have learned in that
- 3:07Speaker 1: is this, I think, you know, I mean we've all
- 3:11Speaker 1: heard old people say, you know, you got to stay
- 3:13Speaker 1: prayed up, you know, and you know prayed up means
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know you got some store it up. You just
- 3:20Speaker 1: got an abundance of them. Where you don't you're putting
- 3:23Speaker 1: it in. Because what happens is is when you're not
- 3:26Speaker 1: in constant communication with God, when you're not constantly praying,
- 3:31Speaker 1: doing those good times, that allows for the enemy to
- 3:36Speaker 1: slip in and do the little things that can be upsetting.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And then the next thing you know it, you get
- 3:42Speaker 1: several little things in a role. Now you got an
- 3:45Speaker 1: issue you dealing with. You know, I have to remind
- 3:49Speaker 1: myself when it's going like that, Man, have I really
- 3:52Speaker 1: been praying though? Have I really been in constant communication
- 3:55Speaker 1: with God? Because you know that that helps God against
- 4:00Speaker 1: that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff,
- 4:03Speaker 1: sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man, that when
- 4:07Speaker 1: I get on a more of a smooth plane in life,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I have a tendency to slack up in that department,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and that ain't the time to slack up. I'm really
- 4:17Speaker 1: learning that I have to stay in constant communication with
- 4:21Speaker 1: God because it enables me to ward off those little
- 4:26Speaker 1: things coming up that can get in the way. And
- 4:30Speaker 1: so I just wanted to make you aware of that
- 4:32Speaker 1: as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up is
- 4:36Speaker 1: important that you try to stop prayers, you know, you
- 4:39Speaker 1: try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 4:42Speaker 1: so to speak, and just constant communication with Him because
- 4:46Speaker 1: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 4:49Speaker 1: doing you. You know, I just wanted to make sure
- 4:51Speaker 1: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 4:55Speaker 1: many obstacles. I've said this a hundred times on the
- 4:58Speaker 1: show The Road to Success. It is always under construction.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I say that all the time, and it's to let
- 5:05Speaker 1: you understand that it's not going to be easy, but
- 5:09Speaker 1: we can make it more difficult than it has to be,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you know, when you go out strike out on the journey.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You know, Uh, let's say I got in my car.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Let's say I'm in New York and I get in
- 5:22Speaker 1: my car and I say I'm going to LA. I know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: if I drive west and continue to drive west, eventually
- 5:33Speaker 1: I should get to California, or I may wind up
- 5:36Speaker 1: in Portland or Seattle or something like that. But if
- 5:40Speaker 1: I drive west, I'm gonna eventually get to the West Coast.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Now wouldn't it be smarter though, if I mapped out
- 5:53Speaker 1: the route, which saved me a bunch of driving I
- 5:58Speaker 1: don't need and figuring that I don't have to calculate
- 6:01Speaker 1: when you know the way to go. You know, if
- 6:06Speaker 1: you know you want to cut cross on the twenty,
- 6:11Speaker 1: or you want to cut cross on the seventy, or
- 6:14Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the ten, you know
- 6:18Speaker 1: you got to devise a route. Now, if I want
- 6:20Speaker 1: to go visit some people I know, then I know
- 6:23Speaker 1: I got to I need to go down. You know,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I might go through on how I'll come down on
- 6:27Speaker 1: the eighty, then get on seventy one and take that
- 6:30Speaker 1: all the way down to the Tin and then ride across.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Or I might take it to the twenty cut through
- 6:35Speaker 1: Texas and then and then let it link back up
- 6:38Speaker 1: on the Tin. I know a lot of different ways,
- 6:40Speaker 1: but guess what the best way is to map it?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Out you can go anywhere, but if you go with
- 6:47Speaker 1: a map, it's more precise. You save yourself a lot
- 6:51Speaker 1: of time. And that's what prayer has taught me that
- 6:55Speaker 1: when identify, continuously pray that I stay in the in
- 7:00Speaker 1: the I stay in a prepared mode, I have more
- 7:03Speaker 1: idea of where I'm going. I'm more secure with my route.
- 7:07Speaker 1: If you just take off driving heading west, yeah, you'll
- 7:11Speaker 1: eventually get to the west coast if you out east.
- 7:13Speaker 1: But guess what though, had you mapped it out, you
- 7:17Speaker 1: can see when you're veering off, you may stop, come
- 7:20Speaker 1: out and not be paying attention. Next thing you know,
- 7:23Speaker 1: you're on a route and you go on another where
- 7:25Speaker 1: you're going north when you could easily still be going west.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You've got to constantly be aware of that. And I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: just pointing that out to you because I know that
- 7:32Speaker 1: on your journey a lot of times you get sidetracked.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And part of the ways we get sidetracked is we
- 7:39Speaker 1: lose out on that very the very beneficial resource of prayer.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We lose out our connection with God get strained. The
- 7:48Speaker 1: thicker you can keep the cord connected to God. If
- 7:53Speaker 1: you thin out your communication with God and instead of
- 7:57Speaker 1: having a big thick cable, now you're dealing with a
- 7:59Speaker 1: little thread. You know, a cable is stronger than thread,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and so it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I wanted to just make you aware of that, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know, to ever be encouraging to say to everybody
- 8:15Speaker 1: out there and just keep your head up. It is
- 8:17Speaker 1: going to be dark days for you. There are going
- 8:20Speaker 1: to be situations where it's going to be daunting and
- 8:23Speaker 1: hard to face. But man on, man on man, everybody
- 8:28Speaker 1: has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes. You know, look,
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose, you wouldn't
- 8:37Speaker 1: even appreciate winning because if it all went your way
- 8:41Speaker 1: all the time. Do you know how complacent and content
- 8:45Speaker 1: and how easy life would be if it just went
- 8:50Speaker 1: your way all the time. So when it kept going
- 8:53Speaker 1: your way, you wouldn't even appreciate it because guess what,
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's been going this way the whole time. So what
- 8:58Speaker 1: life does is as its checks and balances. These hard
- 9:03Speaker 1: times are coming, and you need the hard times to
- 9:05Speaker 1: appreciate the good times. You need the clouds and you
- 9:09Speaker 1: need the rain to appreciate the sun and the flowers.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It's just when it comes to pray, though, just stay
- 9:19Speaker 1: prayed up, stay constant with it, because the challenges of
- 9:23Speaker 1: life are coming, whether you prayed up or not, they're coming.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Understand that you could pray every day all day. When
- 9:31Speaker 1: you get through praying every day all day, something gonna
- 9:34Speaker 1: happen to you. That's gonna be challenging. Now. I would
- 9:38Speaker 1: rather have been in communication with God on a regular
- 9:41Speaker 1: than wait till every time something pop off to have
- 9:43Speaker 1: to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, it was over
- 9:48Speaker 1: at a little around the board with it today, but
- 9:51Speaker 1: that's how it came to me, so that it is.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I ain't mad at it. Y'all have great day. We're
- 9:55Speaker 1: gonna have good one day. Let's go. You're listening, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Now have your undivided attention. Please. This is
- 10:08Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. What this simply means is
- 10:12Speaker 1: that this is the show that comes on in the morning,
- 10:16Speaker 1: and my name is Steve. That's all that means. Don't

- 10:57Speaker 1: get it, but you got it. So about that what
- 11:00Speaker 1: you want? Yeah, yeah, I know you didn't think. I
- 11:02Speaker 1: know you don't think. And I thought, I'm man, and
- 11:05Speaker 1: I'm man. I didn't think it was huside man enough
- 11:07Speaker 1: to give it to man. I tell what I'm supposed
- 11:09Speaker 1: to do. You ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 11:11Speaker 1: He ain't from this. This is the Los Angeles Lakers. Okay,
- 11:14Speaker 1: this is not the Cleveland Lakers. It's the Los Angeles Laker. Okay, brother,
- 11:18Speaker 1: what if it was what if it wasn't for Cleveland,
- 11:22Speaker 1: how we produced him, that would be no championship this
- 11:24Speaker 1: year for the Lake. These are Cleveland Lakers, dog, matter fact,
- 11:29Speaker 1: I don't even think he funk Cleveland. Well we know
- 11:34Speaker 1: he ain't for but he ain't from dog. Akron right there,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and he played for Cleveland all the years in Cleveland
- 11:43Speaker 1: held dog dog Acron is right there. I don't care
- 11:48Speaker 1: about right down at the right there from welt West
- 11:54Speaker 1: for Jennie. You want to start being jail hey, you
- 11:58Speaker 1: go with Tommy own it because you don't know about sports.
- 12:00Speaker 1: No right here. But I'll tell you, I tell no
- 12:07Speaker 1: no sherlot shell. I got this. I handle to blow
- 12:09Speaker 1: you too, idiots by my damn self. We know he
- 12:12Speaker 1: went from Houston. Damn where I'm from him. This ain't
- 12:16Speaker 1: bout where I'm for him. We know his ass ain't
- 12:19Speaker 1: from Houston. We know his ass ain't from Texas, and
- 12:22Speaker 1: we know from Cleveland. Now, everybody, Cleveland Lakers, Like I said,
- 12:33Speaker 1: one football game and that was yesterday. You just won that.
- 12:37Speaker 1: That's why you got your little high ass up on
- 12:39Speaker 1: your back. Just finally start winnison game after thirty years.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Excluse me, excuse me. We've won four in a row. Okay,
- 12:49Speaker 1: excuse me. And we have a title more recently than
- 12:53Speaker 1: does Houston in basketball. Thank you. And y'all's little chick
- 13:00Speaker 1: up and she got took from y'all because you're punk
- 13:03Speaker 1: ass cheated. We ain't cheated, and it ain't took Nick.
- 13:07Speaker 1: We still got everything we got and they back in
- 13:10Speaker 1: the playoffs again talking Astro's cheated the whole damn time.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I ain't gonna take this from somebody from welt West Virginia.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Don't about where the heir ass head. So no, I'm
- 13:27Speaker 1: from kiss where I'm from, where I'm from, And that's
- 13:30Speaker 1: and that's how y'all played too. All right, look, we
- 13:35Speaker 1: gotta get out of here, guys. Coming up at thirty
- 13:38Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, it's asked the CLO. Right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this, you're listening Steven Show. All right, Steve, time
- 13:47Speaker 1: for your favorite segment. It's called Asked the CLO the
- 13:50Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Chloe, as your nephew calls it. Are
- 13:54Speaker 1: you ready, sir? This one is from Mary and Queens.
- 13:59Speaker 1: It says, I'm forty one years old and I've been
- 14:01Speaker 1: engaged to my man for when you stay married. They
- 14:07Speaker 1: didn't breathe for a minute. I know they don't had it.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I tried, That's why I did it quickly so it
- 14:13Speaker 1: could just right by. All right in Queens, I'm I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: forty one years old and I've been engaged to my
- 14:24Speaker 1: man for six years, and I won't marry him because
- 14:28Speaker 1: I cannot stand his kids. He has three teenage daughters,
- 14:31Speaker 1: and when we met, I told him he needed to
- 14:33Speaker 1: start disciplining them while they were young. They will sneak
- 14:37Speaker 1: out of the house, take his car, talk back to him,
- 14:40Speaker 1: and they don't clean up. They had one chance to
- 14:43Speaker 1: try me, and I popped one of them in the
- 14:45Speaker 1: mouth so they would know I don't play. How can
- 14:49Speaker 1: I get him to take control if he won't, does
- 14:51Speaker 1: it means he doesn't love me? Well, it's not that
- 14:55Speaker 1: he just doesn't know how to parent. He's he's just
- 15:00Speaker 1: he don't know how to handle them girls. He's a man,
- 15:02Speaker 1: and he doesn't know. He's afraid to discipline. He's he
- 15:06Speaker 1: wants to be Disney Dad. Obviously, my courtion is do
- 15:10Speaker 1: you live with him? I don't know what the situation is,
- 15:14Speaker 1: so really the bottom line is why are we talking
- 15:18Speaker 1: about this. You've been a game for six years and
- 15:21Speaker 1: you're not gonna marry because he won't discipline that and
- 15:23Speaker 1: they got teenage George, he not gonna discipline them, and
- 15:27Speaker 1: looks like you're not gonna get married. Yep, But where
- 15:31Speaker 1: we are now moving on? I have no idea where. Yeah,
- 15:37Speaker 1: it sounds like she wants him to make a choice
- 15:39Speaker 1: to Steve between her and the daughters. No, no, you can't.
- 15:44Speaker 1: You can't ask as to do that. And you think
- 15:48Speaker 1: hitting kids kids, people's kids in all. Uh, but you
- 15:53Speaker 1: don't know what they did to her. But still that
- 15:56Speaker 1: was Oh I understand it. Yeah, yeah, I saying to
- 16:00Speaker 1: her about hitting him in the mouth, right, I guess
- 16:05Speaker 1: I should have as a person, wouldn't advice segment on
- 16:09Speaker 1: the radio. But I'm not going to get the best
- 16:12Speaker 1: part of the letters when you filed off on one
- 16:14Speaker 1: of them in that jol. We don't think necessarily violence
- 16:19Speaker 1: is a way, but something needs to be done, and
- 16:21Speaker 1: like you say, doesn't look like she's gonna marry him.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Courtland and Texas says, I'm thirty two and my wife
- 16:28Speaker 1: is thirty years old, and she likes to shop at
- 16:30Speaker 1: stores and sell skimpy and cheap cloth. This started during
- 16:34Speaker 1: the quarantine and she ordered a lot of trendy cut
- 16:37Speaker 1: off tops and super short shorts. She dresses like this
- 16:41Speaker 1: to run errands with me, and I see how people
- 16:44Speaker 1: look at her. I thought I'd catch a break because
- 16:46Speaker 1: of the cooler weather, but she just switched to wearing
- 16:48Speaker 1: super tight leggings and short jackets. A lot of the
- 16:52Speaker 1: clothes are thin and see through, and she's a little overweight.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Can I tell her that she is too big for
- 16:59Speaker 1: these styles without very carefully listened to this without hurting
- 17:04Speaker 1: her feeling? Oh dog, that ain't no boy. But it's
- 17:11Speaker 1: no words for this. There's no there's no tender way
- 17:16Speaker 1: to save Bay Bay. I love you, I really do.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You know. You weight and got out of hand and
- 17:23Speaker 1: you wear these tight ass clothes and you know you
- 17:25Speaker 1: just they you stretching it fabric. We can see your
- 17:28Speaker 1: skin and people starting to look at you and you're
- 17:31Speaker 1: a bass. It's no way. Hey, you know, man, I
- 17:37Speaker 1: love everything about you, one thing you do, except one
- 17:41Speaker 1: thing something like that. You're like, no, no, it's you.
- 17:47Speaker 1: You know your clothes you've been buying lately. Yeah, Like
- 17:51Speaker 1: I mean not, I ain't you know? I mean you
- 17:56Speaker 1: know they tight? Yeah? Yeah, I think I have a
- 17:59Speaker 1: nice figure, right, and I wanted to show it off.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Well hey, huh head nice Okay, I'm gonna breathe it
- 18:10Speaker 1: one more time without hurting her. Yeah, there is no way.
- 18:14Speaker 1: That's no way. There's no way to leave this matter
- 18:16Speaker 1: without you getting hurt. How can I tell her that
- 18:20Speaker 1: she is too big for these styles without hurting her feelings.
- 18:24Speaker 1: Now to hurt a dolt, No, you don't hurt her.
- 18:27Speaker 1: She gonna keep going. You can't dance around facts. It's
- 18:31Speaker 1: got to crush your wife. It's his wife, jeans. Come
- 18:36Speaker 1: on now, people talking to you, looking up, looking at you.
- 18:47Speaker 1: The way she dresses puts him in a position where
- 18:50Speaker 1: he might have to fight. No, good, bro, you had
- 18:54Speaker 1: to go on it. Just do it. It's not gonna
- 18:56Speaker 1: You're gonna have to hurt her without that. Ain't no
- 19:03Speaker 1: without Okay, you're not getting out of this one clean.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I don't care how you do it, say it or
- 19:09Speaker 1: present it. This is a problem and it's yours who
- 19:14Speaker 1: all right, Yeah, you're hurt. You're hurting the clo Lamont
- 19:22Speaker 1: and Gary. That's a good name. Steve Lamont Lamont and
- 19:27Speaker 1: Gary says. I'm sixty six and I was set up
- 19:30Speaker 1: on a blind date with a sixty one year old woman.
- 19:33Speaker 1: We hit it off, but on our first date she
- 19:35Speaker 1: had three glasses of remy neat she started slurring her words,
- 19:40Speaker 1: so I ended the date. I tried for a second date,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and that time she had three long id iced teas
- 19:47Speaker 1: at dinner, I had a coach. I asked her she
- 19:51Speaker 1: was a big drinker, and she said she has a
- 19:53Speaker 1: cocktail nightly to relax. It's hard meeting a woman at
- 19:57Speaker 1: my age. Besides her drinking, we had a good time.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Should I leave her alone or try to make this work?
- 20:04Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell you. Don't you just
- 20:06Speaker 1: said as hard meeting women at chain? You meet one,
- 20:10Speaker 1: It drank heavy, three long and I left three long
- 20:15Speaker 1: out of nice tea and one every night to relax,
- 20:18Speaker 1: every nice lot. Oh, anybody drink every night to go
- 20:23Speaker 1: to sleep. You ain't even been around it in the daytime.
- 20:27Speaker 1: You don't know what she's doing again, So should he
- 20:33Speaker 1: leave her alone or try and make it work? No, dog,
- 20:35Speaker 1: it ain't going nowhere. Y'all have a nice time. Just
- 20:38Speaker 1: had a nice time. This ain't going nowhere, all right,
- 20:41Speaker 1: All right, there you go, Thank you. Cello is always
- 20:43Speaker 1: coming up and drunk and slapped it sugar honey iced
- 20:46Speaker 1: tea right there. I know, I scared me. It's Monday morning,
- 20:52Speaker 1: so you know what that means. Reverend Motown dickon depth

- 22:21Speaker 1: to the lack of contributions doing COVID. Oh well, we
- 22:27Speaker 1: don't fish some more money coming in here. We're gonna
- 22:29Speaker 1: quit calling ourselves the Jackpot Joint or we're just gonna
- 22:33Speaker 1: be the joint. Well from my understanding. You still gotta
- 22:39Speaker 1: you don't have a billing fund. You got a home
- 22:41Speaker 1: fund now, but you don't want to answer those questions. Well,
- 22:43Speaker 1: let's keep it, Louis. The after church Zoom happy hour
- 22:50Speaker 1: is out of control U as you signed off, pastor yesterday,
- 22:54Speaker 1: it got crunk. Brother Travis opened up a ball of
- 22:57Speaker 1: tangaray and since the diamonds started working and church members
- 23:01Speaker 1: started wild and out completing it. Now, do we want
- 23:04Speaker 1: to cancel this happy hour after church? Or do you
- 23:07Speaker 1: want to continue to let this happen? It's out of control.
- 23:10Speaker 1: I've not been involved in any of the Zoom alcohol
- 23:16Speaker 1: buildings or things prob Yeah, that's another jewelery or thing
- 23:21Speaker 1: that's ran by you. And how do you feel about
- 23:25Speaker 1: I don't. I think it's out of control and I
- 23:27Speaker 1: think we need to shut it down because it's It
- 23:30Speaker 1: goes on for two and three hours after service on Zoom,
- 23:32Speaker 1: the party and any one. Then you get on that
- 23:35Speaker 1: and you shut it? Do you get on that and
- 23:37Speaker 1: you shut it done? When you are the pastor that
- 23:42Speaker 1: brings it to you, you voted to me, I don't
- 23:45Speaker 1: give a damn you should have done Why? Why? Why?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Why do I feel like me and you is arguing
- 23:52Speaker 1: that why do I feel like that? Oh? And not
- 23:53Speaker 1: an argument mother, beloved or decon. It's just your responsibility
- 23:59Speaker 1: to shut it down. I don't care, all right, all right,
- 24:04Speaker 1: I handle it. No, I'm not I'm not taking up off. Okay, Well,
- 24:15Speaker 1: heads are proud of another, proud of all the black
- 24:17Speaker 1: people who attended Trump rallies are asking for forgiveness. A
- 24:22Speaker 1: sister Sarah Peters told them to kiss her ass. But
- 24:25Speaker 1: that's up to you path on what you want to
- 24:27Speaker 1: do with these people. But they all have come to
- 24:29Speaker 1: asking for forgiveness. I am or in concurrence with sister Peters.
- 24:37Speaker 1: A matter of fact, you can kiss our whole entire
- 24:42Speaker 1: center point including kay for that you want me? Mind that?
- 24:48Speaker 1: Put mine in the box, kiss every cone? Wow? What
- 24:57Speaker 1: kind of church? Silly? Okay? Uh, all right, pass it?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Moving right along. Uh, let's see here. This is the
- 25:11Speaker 1: third Sunday in the road that someone is watching service
- 25:15Speaker 1: on zoom butt naked. Now we don't know who it
- 25:18Speaker 1: is because he has a mask. One, he has a
- 25:21Speaker 1: rose tattoo on a rose tattoo on her left shoulder.
- 25:25Speaker 1: But at this point past we do not know who
- 25:27Speaker 1: it is that's sitting there during the whole service naked?
- 25:31Speaker 1: What do you want to do about this? Because I
- 25:33Speaker 1: don't I can't call this well. I think that it
- 25:38Speaker 1: would be sister roles, don't you Well, you can call
- 25:44Speaker 1: it sister rod but I don't know. I mean we
- 25:46Speaker 1: have a sister role. She I don't know if this
- 25:50Speaker 1: role has the tattooed on. She has the same same complexion.
- 25:57Speaker 1: I've watched the zoom, so you've been looking at the good.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Realis the rule? How? Because I just tell about where
- 26:09Speaker 1: she is? Man, Okay, so you want to continue to
- 26:16Speaker 1: let her sit there on Sunday and naked? But how
- 26:19Speaker 1: do you want to handle it? Shocked? I'm not bothered
- 26:24Speaker 1: by this out you. I thought it was church complaints.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I'm complaining about a woman sitting there and nack it
- 26:33Speaker 1: doing save it. I have not noticed it. Why we
- 26:36Speaker 1: are still own this leaves. She rolls alone. She's rolling,
- 26:40Speaker 1: not bothering you. She's in here for the word, not
- 26:43Speaker 1: beacon by what you're telling me. Man, you like what
- 26:46Speaker 1: you see. I don't care nothing about what I see.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Okay that you are difficult today, but anyway, let me
- 26:58Speaker 1: keep it moving. It is a proudlem. Yesterday was not
- 27:03Speaker 1: Men's Day Sunday on zoom. It was the no wig,
- 27:08Speaker 1: no we've challenge. Most of the people you saw with
- 27:12Speaker 1: female but passing you kept addressing people as deacons and brothers,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and that's not what that was on the on the screen. Sorry,
- 27:20Speaker 1: I'm sorry to call it like I see it. I
- 27:22Speaker 1: can't help look at the weeds back home. Yeah, it
- 27:27Speaker 1: was no we've no wig day and no we need
- 27:30Speaker 1: to cut have we need to stop having that? No,
- 27:34Speaker 1: we win't. No weeds don't look like we got no
- 27:37Speaker 1: women all right now, No we've no wig, no makeup,
- 27:46Speaker 1: no lash. Yeah, that's what it was. They had no right. Yeah,
- 27:54Speaker 1: we five of them didn't even draw the eyebrows on.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I thought of was appreciate the front of a bunch
- 28:01Speaker 1: of emotions yelling went I'm getting all right past it.
- 28:17Speaker 1: We got another issue here. Brother Marvin Demison, as you know,
- 28:22Speaker 1: is nine hundred and three pounds, has been moved from
- 28:25Speaker 1: his house by the fire fire Department. He's on the
- 28:29Speaker 1: back of the fire the truck. They was taking him
- 28:31Speaker 1: to the supermarket, but the axel has given out on
- 28:34Speaker 1: the fire truck. Brother Marvin is asking ken the church,
- 28:38Speaker 1: send one of our vands to pick him up. We
- 28:40Speaker 1: don't have a van for him. I don't know the
- 28:47Speaker 1: way to take him to the supermarket where he wont
- 28:50Speaker 1: he's he's trying to He's on a diet, so he's
- 28:53Speaker 1: trying to eat healthy. No, he's not. The Last time
- 28:57Speaker 1: we pushed brother Marvin down the house, he would do
- 29:00Speaker 1: raker sto falls to the fleet and we gotta go.

- 31:19Speaker 1: the house. But that's well, I don't know, Jay, we're
- 31:21Speaker 1: not sure if they're still getting a divorce because the
- 31:25Speaker 1: photos from the party, I mean, it looks like they
- 31:27Speaker 1: may be working things out. There was a lot of
- 31:29Speaker 1: kissing going on. Yeah, don take it all bits. Some
- 31:38Speaker 1: some baby news to report. Kelly Rowland, formerly of Destiny's Child,
- 31:43Speaker 1: revealed in the November issue of Women's Health magazine that
- 31:47Speaker 1: she is expecting her second child with her husband Tim
- 31:50Speaker 1: Witherspoon Weatherspoon. Kelly and Tim already have a five year
- 31:54Speaker 1: old son. His name is Titan, And congratulations to them.
- 31:57Speaker 1: What a sweetheart she is. That wasn't at the drift
- 32:01Speaker 1: club and none of that, none of that. You see
- 32:02Speaker 1: how they do that. That's how you she's pregnant. What
- 32:08Speaker 1: do you think I don't celebrated her pregnancy. You know,
- 32:11Speaker 1: it's you know, you know, we're totally different culture. Couples
- 32:16Speaker 1: go to strip clubs. That's a totally different culture. That's crazy.
- 32:21Speaker 1: You mean, girl girls throw parties at the strip clubs
- 32:25Speaker 1: all the two so good, Oh my god, they were
- 32:29Speaker 1: gonna but Jake, we're gonna have to quit blame it
- 32:31Speaker 1: on the way and the wings are good. Finally we
- 32:35Speaker 1: fly the truth. We stay to serve food and there
- 32:43Speaker 1: to be the same crowd right exactly next week we
- 32:51Speaker 1: got a special loan Burger Booties. Burger Booties will be
- 32:54Speaker 1: late ladies and gentleman. So, Steve, you were saying that
- 32:58Speaker 1: it was totally different culture because couples go to strip clubs.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Now that's a big thing. I mean, look, I mean,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I mean what they're doing now, it's just different, man,
- 33:08Speaker 1: It's just it's different. I just stop talking about it
- 33:11Speaker 1: because it ain't changing. Dude. Do you date though? Birthday
- 33:15Speaker 1: parties in field club? Everybody? It's crazy, all right, Steve,
- 33:19Speaker 1: Let's check in with Mithanne now with a very very
- 33:22Speaker 1: wonderful special why we vote miss Anne Trip. Thanks very much,
- 33:27Speaker 1: Steve Shirley, Thank you, everybody, send a confirmation. Hearings first
- 33:30Speaker 1: of all, said to begin today for President Trump Supreme
- 33:33Speaker 1: Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett and prepared remarks. She claims
- 33:36Speaker 1: she would rule based on the law and not her
- 33:38Speaker 1: personal views. That's what she says. President Trump goes back
- 33:41Speaker 1: on the campaign trail today. He's held holding a rally
- 33:43Speaker 1: in Florida, his first since contracting Corona. But he spoke
- 33:47Speaker 1: about let's about hundred supporters at the White House on
- 33:49Speaker 1: Saturday as well. I'm feeling great. I don't know about you.
- 33:52Speaker 1: How is everyone feeling good. I want to thank all
- 33:55Speaker 1: of you for your prayers. I know you've been praying.
- 33:58Speaker 1: And I was in that hospital. I was watching down
- 34:01Speaker 1: over so many people watching down. Anyway, he says he's immune.
- 34:05Speaker 1: That's what he says. By the way, speaking of presidents,
- 34:09Speaker 1: this is an trip with why we vote. Margaret Kimberly
- 34:13Speaker 1: is the author of Prejudential Black America and the Presidents.
- 34:19Speaker 1: The story of Black people and the Presidents is a
- 34:23Speaker 1: story of fighting against racism at the very top. Anti
- 34:28Speaker 1: black racism is foundational to this nation. The first twelve presidents,
- 34:34Speaker 1: ten of them were slaveholders. George Washington was in that group.
- 34:38Speaker 1: We were always told about his dentures being made of wood,
- 34:41Speaker 1: and that's not true. Some of the teeth came from
- 34:45Speaker 1: the people he owned. He actually took teeth out of
- 34:48Speaker 1: their mouth to transplant in his own mouth. Thomas Jefferson
- 34:54Speaker 1: was a hypocrite. We know about Sally Hemmings. They had
- 34:58Speaker 1: five children together. Her father was a white man and
- 35:02Speaker 1: was also the father of Jefferson's wife. We were taught
- 35:08Speaker 1: that Lincoln was the great emancipator, but whenever Union lines
- 35:12Speaker 1: approached enslaves people would run to union lines in an
- 35:15Speaker 1: attempt to escape. Lincoln's policy was to return them to
- 35:19Speaker 1: their slaveholders. There was even one colony established off the
- 35:24Speaker 1: coast of Haiti where they set several hundred people, and
- 35:28Speaker 1: that was the beginning of his plan to empty the
- 35:31Speaker 1: nation of black people. Neither he nor any of these
- 35:36Speaker 1: people should be admired, and all their monuments should come down,
- 35:40Speaker 1: and we should take their faces off of the money.
- 35:43Speaker 1: That's why I wrote the book. It's important to know
- 35:45Speaker 1: this history. Who followers were faithfully That was Margaret Kimberly,
- 35:51Speaker 1: author of Prejudential Black America, and the presidents. So why
- 35:55Speaker 1: do we vote because we got very little help from
- 35:57Speaker 1: the Oval Office. This is a trip. That's speaking of presidents.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:09Speaker 1: to show. President Trump greeted several hundred supporters gathered on
- 36:15Speaker 1: the south lawn of the White House from a balcony
- 36:18Speaker 1: on Saturday and what he called a peaceful protest in
- 36:22Speaker 1: honor of law and order. This was his first big
- 36:25Speaker 1: public appearance since he was hospitalized with the coronavirus. Trump
- 36:30Speaker 1: told the crowd, I'm feeling great. I know you've been praying,
- 36:33Speaker 1: and I was in that hospital. I was watching down
- 36:36Speaker 1: over so many people. What he was watching down on people?
- 36:43Speaker 1: He mentioned that there is a coronavirus pandemic which is
- 36:46Speaker 1: flaring up in several states and around the globe, and
- 36:48Speaker 1: once again insisted it's going to disappear. It is disappearing.
- 36:53Speaker 1: The President is planning trips to battleground states this week,
- 36:56Speaker 1: starting today in Florida. So he just can't be stopped.
- 37:01Speaker 1: So say what you want to say, hadn't disappeared at
- 37:04Speaker 1: the White House? Yeah, just show it up. Yeah. They're
- 37:08Speaker 1: calling him the super spreader. Yeah, he is a super spreader.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Didn't he say he was immune to He said that.
- 37:15Speaker 1: He said anything you can think of that's not true. Yes,
- 37:21Speaker 1: So you know there's no global warming. All these protests
- 37:25Speaker 1: are violent. Everything he says. He just he doesn't care
- 37:30Speaker 1: for the wall. Yeah, yeah, he said a lot. He
- 37:36Speaker 1: said a whole lot. Um Joe Biden. The poles show
- 37:41Speaker 1: that he's still leading in the polls. So maybe that's
- 37:44Speaker 1: why you know, the president is so deafer, but I
- 37:47Speaker 1: don't want us to take for granted these poles. Yeah,
- 37:51Speaker 1: because because he was leading last time too. No, man,
- 37:55Speaker 1: we're going to the polls because we are tired of
- 37:57Speaker 1: you treating us like with trash, like we don't matter.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I don't care how we do it to you, we
- 38:05Speaker 1: don't matter. You don't even mention Black lives matter. You know,
- 38:09Speaker 1: he doesn't mention anything about a cause. All the causes
- 38:13Speaker 1: he's taken up to stop has got something to do
- 38:15Speaker 1: with people of color. Every last one of them. The doctor,
- 38:21Speaker 1: the wall, the band, and the Muslims, the anti black
- 38:27Speaker 1: lives matter right right, Colin Kaepernick, NBA players kneel it.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I don't care what it is. All of his rally
- 38:35Speaker 1: cry got something to do with people of color. Yeah,
- 38:40Speaker 1: but what about last week? Colin Kamala Harris a monster
- 38:44Speaker 1: because he just he finds labels man that he sticks
- 38:48Speaker 1: with his with his ignorant base. But let me ask
- 38:53Speaker 1: you this, how many people are in a pole? I've
- 38:56Speaker 1: never understood. I don't mess it. Yeah, they usually tell you,
- 38:59Speaker 1: but you know, I've never known anyone who's been polled.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Poles and pulse can be all different sizes and all
- 39:08Speaker 1: different kinds of people. You know, we're moving on. Coming
- 39:12Speaker 1: up at thirty four minutes after the hour, some sad
- 39:14Speaker 1: news to report the infamous fly from last week's vice
- 39:17Speaker 1: presidential debate, and he's died and will celebrate his life
- 39:21Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show the funeral for
- 39:28Speaker 1: the fly from the VP debate, The fly, the flies
- 39:41Speaker 1: d H. We're having his funeral on Sunday. Yeah, we
- 39:52Speaker 1: are gathering here today for the past or fly a
- 40:02Speaker 1: k A super as in fly a k A house,
- 40:12Speaker 1: as in fly a k A fruit. Come on, he said,
- 40:23Speaker 1: as in fly of course my favorite. I referred to
- 40:27Speaker 1: him as soul soul fly, but we all knew him
- 40:38Speaker 1: as dj Ung while he's three days on earth wind
- 40:45Speaker 1: by extremely faced. He led a glorious life his way
- 40:54Speaker 1: from Florida Bagger's claim, m h. That's why he made
- 40:59Speaker 1: it to the top or the vice President's here. Take
- 41:04Speaker 1: your time now, we will not heal from one of
- 41:09Speaker 1: his closest friends. If you will please come forward, we're
- 41:13Speaker 1: going to hear from Musquito. First of all, I like
- 41:19Speaker 1: to say that that that that house flight with one
- 41:23Speaker 1: of my one of my greatest friends. We were friends
- 41:25Speaker 1: for a long time, for the whole three days that
- 41:27Speaker 1: he would hear you know that that one of my
- 41:29Speaker 1: greatest people right there, and just for him to be
- 41:34Speaker 1: for but him to be going already, because I mean,
- 41:37Speaker 1: there was a lot of things that he and I
- 41:38Speaker 1: wanted to do together, you know, a lot of stuff
- 41:40Speaker 1: that we supposed we were gonna land on. We're gonna
- 41:43Speaker 1: be you know, around a lot of sugar hunting at eighty,
- 41:45Speaker 1: but we never did it. Just it just didn't go
- 41:50Speaker 1: the way that me and me and House thought we
- 41:52Speaker 1: were gonna do. You know, we thought we're gonna do
- 41:53Speaker 1: a lot of things in this world that we didn't
- 41:55Speaker 1: get to do it. But I I just want to
- 42:00Speaker 1: say on the on you from all the mosquitoes and
- 42:03Speaker 1: all the stingers out there, and we love we love
- 42:06Speaker 1: all the flies, all the mosquitoes and flies when you
- 42:09Speaker 1: reunite together and become one because we all we all
- 42:12Speaker 1: friends like that, you know, we just we just I
- 42:16Speaker 1: just wanted to say House was one of my greatest friends,
- 42:19Speaker 1: one of my greatest friends for three days like that.
- 42:23Speaker 1: But for him to be gone, it just it just
- 42:26Speaker 1: it's just it's just so hard so difficult. You know,
- 42:31Speaker 1: we just just from all the mosquitoes. I just wanted
- 42:33Speaker 1: to say we we love house, We love all the
- 42:35Speaker 1: house flight. So that you go. That's that's all I
- 42:38Speaker 1: gotta say. All stingers up, baby, all stingers up. Thank you,
- 42:44Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you. Mosquito. That was great
- 42:50Speaker 1: and also touching. Your words had a lot of biting.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Not my face, not that's my fly, mister, mister, that's
- 43:07Speaker 1: not your fly. This is a twoth the service you
- 43:13Speaker 1: you're showing services at fourth the man, Well, I'm not
- 43:17Speaker 1: doing that again. I hope they heard it. Okay, now
- 43:24Speaker 1: we were here from someone who went to school with him.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Please give it up for killer Be. He look yeah,
- 43:33Speaker 1: like I say, told me and House was like really
- 43:35Speaker 1: really really really close. You know what I'm saying, Like
- 43:37Speaker 1: this hill Me and House was like, you know, we
- 43:40Speaker 1: was tight, like did so for him to be, you know,
- 43:44Speaker 1: to lead this world so earlier after three days you
- 43:48Speaker 1: know that right there? That just shook me right there,
- 43:50Speaker 1: you know, so like I say, oh, that's my boy,
- 43:54Speaker 1: you know, d seeing peace or whatever. And I just man,

- 54:43Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here at
- 54:45Speaker 1: ease is the strong, very letter subject. His wife called
- 54:49Speaker 1: while we were in his car. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 54:53Speaker 1: a single mom and I met a great guy at work.
- 54:56Speaker 1: We dealt with each other for months and the sex
- 54:59Speaker 1: was really good good, But I found out he was
- 55:01Speaker 1: married one day while we were in the car in
- 55:04Speaker 1: his car having sex in the parking lot at work.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I asked him to turn on the air conditioner so
- 55:09Speaker 1: we could cool off. He cranked the car up and
- 55:12Speaker 1: his Bluetooth was connected to his phone, so we listened
- 55:15Speaker 1: to some ninety slow jams and kept on having sex.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Right when it was getting good, his phone rang and
- 55:22Speaker 1: he tried to hit the decline button to ignore the call,
- 55:25Speaker 1: but instead he answered it. The caller ID read missus Patton,
- 55:30Speaker 1: and he looked like he's seen a ghost. I asked,
- 55:33Speaker 1: who is missus Patterson, and he put his hands over
- 55:36Speaker 1: my mouth. The lady said, I'm his wife. She asked
- 55:40Speaker 1: who I was, and I said I was his co worker,
- 55:43Speaker 1: and I did not know he was married. She asked
- 55:46Speaker 1: me what was I doing in her car, and I
- 55:48Speaker 1: told her exactly what I was doing in her car.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I told her that her husband likes to have sex
- 55:55Speaker 1: with me in the car, and now I know why
- 55:57Speaker 1: because he's married. She said she'd deal with him later,
- 56:02Speaker 1: and she thanked me for being honest. He was furious
- 56:05Speaker 1: with me, and on the next day he told me
- 56:08Speaker 1: I talked too much and I almost got him put out.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I told him I was sorry and I'd make it
- 56:13Speaker 1: up to him. What At lunch time, we went back
- 56:17Speaker 1: to his car so I could make up for what
- 56:20Speaker 1: I did the day before. After that, I told him
- 56:23Speaker 1: we were done and I started avoiding him at work.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Two weeks past and he called to say that his
- 56:29Speaker 1: wife is done with him and he wants a second
- 56:32Speaker 1: chance with me. I do miss him and the sex.
- 56:35Speaker 1: Should I believe this, liar, or do I contact his
- 56:38Speaker 1: wife first to make sure the coast is clear? Girl,
- 56:43Speaker 1: you already have done enough to him, and she talked
- 56:45Speaker 1: to his wife. Don't do that, okay, leave his wife
- 56:48Speaker 1: out of the situation, and you need to leave him
- 56:51Speaker 1: out of the situation. He didn't tell you he was married.
- 56:54Speaker 1: He put his hand over your mouth when his wife called.
- 56:57Speaker 1: I mean he relegates to having sex with him in
- 57:01Speaker 1: his car. You should value yourself more than that. Let's
- 57:05Speaker 1: not be stupid here, okay. I mean, and how can
- 57:08Speaker 1: you believe anything that comes out of his mouth. I mean,
- 57:10Speaker 1: he hasn't exactly been forthcoming with his information, and definitely
- 57:15Speaker 1: he hasn't told you the truth. He told you you
- 57:17Speaker 1: talk too much. You should have told him he didn't
- 57:20Speaker 1: talk enough. He conveniently left out the fact that he
- 57:23Speaker 1: was married. But I blame you too, because you guys
- 57:26Speaker 1: work together. You could have found out a lot of
- 57:28Speaker 1: stuff if you just, you know, would take the time
- 57:31Speaker 1: to investigate a bit. You should have done a little
- 57:35Speaker 1: more homework here. I said it before, I'll say it again.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You should value yourself way more than a lunchtime quickie
- 57:43Speaker 1: in the parking lot in the car. And you don't
- 57:47Speaker 1: have anything to make up to him, but you did
- 57:50Speaker 1: it anyway. Once again, lunchtime in the car in the
- 57:54Speaker 1: parking lot. You've got to stop that. You know, you
- 57:58Speaker 1: can do what you what you're first mind told you
- 58:01Speaker 1: to do, and that's avoid him at work. Okay, all
- 58:05Speaker 1: of that, you could do all of that, and that's
- 58:07Speaker 1: what you need to do. You need to leave this
- 58:09Speaker 1: guy alone, whether he's divorced or not, because who knows
- 58:12Speaker 1: if he is divorced what he will do for you
- 58:15Speaker 1: to you if you guys get together. Don't you think
- 58:17Speaker 1: he'll cheat on YouTube? Come on now, Steve, Well, let's
- 58:22Speaker 1: let's just get right to it. His wife call while
- 58:27Speaker 1: we was in his car. But you wasn't just in
- 58:29Speaker 1: the car, right. The latter ain't about y'all being in
- 58:36Speaker 1: the car. The latter is about what the hell was
- 58:40Speaker 1: happening in the damn car that you go in there
- 58:45Speaker 1: all the time. You met a great guy at work.
- 58:49Speaker 1: He's a great guy. You made him at work, and
- 58:52Speaker 1: y'all deal with each other for a month and the
- 58:54Speaker 1: sex was really good. But I found out he was
- 58:56Speaker 1: married one day. We was in his car having sex
- 58:58Speaker 1: in the parking lot of where. Okay, now, the great
- 59:01Speaker 1: guy you met only had sex with you in the
- 59:05Speaker 1: parking lot at work. Great guy, I asked him Oneder
- 59:11Speaker 1: while we was in the car having sex in the
- 59:14Speaker 1: parking lot. You asked him to turn on the air
- 59:17Speaker 1: conditions so we could cool off. Y'all just open there
- 59:21Speaker 1: y'all is gonna just just drawing heat, y'all just opening
- 59:25Speaker 1: them all the can somebody cut on this ad hell?
- 59:31Speaker 1: So he cranked the car and the bluetooth was connected
- 59:37Speaker 1: to his phone. I've done this before. The bluetooth connected
- 59:40Speaker 1: to the phone, and I didn't know it, but it
- 59:43Speaker 1: just scanned me because I was driving the car and
- 59:46Speaker 1: all setting the phone rang and I didn't know how
- 59:48Speaker 1: the hell it was ringing in my damn car. I
- 59:50Speaker 1: just didn't know. But of course I didn't have this
- 59:53Speaker 1: here going on. I wasn't parked in the parking lot
- 59:55Speaker 1: with a co worker at work. Y'all listen to slow
- 59:59Speaker 1: jams and having sex, you know, y'all in there like
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: y'all at a room. Some damn well, my Quinn, what
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: kind of car he got? Is this a nineteen ninety
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Lincoln Town Car? A big car? H Is this a
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: seven six Fleetwood Poe do bro hand? I would ignore
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: how big this car got to just a pickup trunk?
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Oh Lord? Does he have a van? Hang on, Steve,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up in
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: his wife called while we were in his car. We'll
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Morning show,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: Uh subject, His wife called while we were in his
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: carthing got crazy in him. Yeah, then this this woman
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: and mentions great guy work, he's so great. They just
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: have sex in the pocket lot or the car now
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and they had to cut the air condition on because
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: they was having great sex. And name they kept on
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: having sex once they got the air cut on. Now,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: hold on. My question was what kind of cars this?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: I was thinking of, nineteen ninety Lincoln town Car, something
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: like that big car, Cata, Fleetwood, brom seventy six, you
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: know with the could just say Broye, you know, so
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Dan de Ville, you know, you know Bontomville with the
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: bench seats. I don't know what you're driving, but anyway,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: that's either had him. Anyway, the bluetooth is on in
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the car and the phone range the caller, ID said,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: miss Patten, and all of a sudden he looked like
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: he's seen it goes then you said out a lout,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I asked, who is miss Patten? He put his hands
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: on my mouth too, damn late too damn late. The
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: lady said, I'm his wife, and then she asked who
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you was, and you said you was his co worker,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: that I didn't know he was married. She asked me
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: what was I doing in her car? And then you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: told her exactly what you were doing, girl, exactly, come on,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: come on, you told her everything point blank, sounds like
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: it details. And then well then I'm just up there.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: So then we cut the own, you know, and I
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: kept going because it was just about to get good
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: when you called. And then, oh god, so then she
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: asked who you was. You said you was a co worker.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You told her what y'are doing the car, and then
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you told her that our husband like to have sex
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: with me in the car, and now I know why
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: because he's married. She said. She deal with him later,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: and she thanked me for being honest. What kind of
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: conversation y'all having. Thank you so much, baby, you know,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: for your honesty, For your honesty. Maybe we have tea sometimes.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: He was furious with me, and the next day he
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: told me I talked too much and almost got him
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: put out. I told him I was sorry, and I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: make it up to it at lunchtime. Y'all, went back
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: to his car so I can make up for what
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: I did to David Folk. And after that I told
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: him we was done. That's how you apologize. And then
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I started avoiding him and worked in Two weeks past
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: he called me saying his wife done with him and
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: he wants a second chance with me. I do miss
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: him in the sixth in that hot car. Should I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: believe his liar? Or do I contact his wife first
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: to make sure the coaches clear? What? Look? Sureley told
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you right? You don't call this man as woman to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: make sure the coaches cui. You went back in the
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: car after you found out he was married. Now you're
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: thinking about going back again and married or not. It
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: don't make you no damn difference, So stop trying to
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: play righteous with this. You don't care about none of that,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: And why don't you just going to do what you're
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: gonna do? But I think I think you're not a
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: very nice person. I think you have low self esteem.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: I think that you lower your values and standards or
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: you may not have any. You should develop some and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: stop having sex in the car at lunch because that's
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: all you are now, No less you The lunch break
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: ain't none like some good car. Off shut up, some
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: good blowing ain't none like some good car's. Let's quit
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: act like these are these? These are some young people talking,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: y'all too old asses. Can't have sex in the car? No,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: damn mo, and you know it. No, you can't. We
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: could do it in a van though we we got
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: we still got a band ability, we still banbil. Okay,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: if y'all old ass have sex in the van, it's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: gonna need a lift on it. But clean out the
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: card and work it right. Yeah, y'all, two old ass
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: dudes gonna pull every Charlotte horse, y'all got try? What
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: about to win a bago? Though? Can we do winna bago?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Can we do a car? It's a cargo hoist, it's
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: a car, and modern day cars have bucket seats. It's
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: too I go out for that. No, but for her,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: definitely not. She needs to get her self esteemed because
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: she thanked you one time. The next time gonna be
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: that ass for yep, yep. And he's not divorced. You
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: know he's not divorced. He's just telling her that so
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: his lunch times won't change. Well, let's be real, though,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: how many of us have been in the car and
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: done it. I mean, let's not act like we hain't
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: done it in the car. So them by myself didn't
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: really just say that I was pumping it up, but
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: not Team Tommy, Team Tommy. He took a hard left
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: on it by yourself. All right. Listen, hit us up
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: on Instagram at Steve Harvey FM with your thoughts on
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter. Check out the Strawberry Letter podcast One
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: to Man Now coming up next. The President says he's
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: got a protective glow now and he threw shade at
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: VP Joe Biden. We'll talk about it right after this
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Trump appeared at Maria Barton Romo's
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Fox News Channel show Sunday Morning Futures and says he
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: now has a protective glow, and he threw shade at
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Joe Biden by saying, it seems like I'm immune, so
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I can go way out of the basement. Fact is,
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: of course, Vice President Biden has been out of his
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: basement for weeks now. He's been able to campaign because
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: he's been wearing masks and of course socially distancing m
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: so he didn't get COVID, mister president, and this new
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: glow that he has his mo orange makeup. That's it, Steve,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: that's it. Trump's attitude toward his whole COVID treatment. Yeah,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: he switched from Sherman Williams, but his whole attitude towards
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: his COVID treatment has alarmed doctors and scientists, who believe
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: he continues to send an incorrect and dangerous message about
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the perils of COVID. He's also oblivious to the fact
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: that he's gotten better medical care than virtually any other
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: American on Earth period. Yes on Earth. Come on now,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: he's misquoted doctor Foulci. Doctor Foulci came out to say that,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: you know, President Trumps has quoted him, but it's all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: been wrong. He didn't say that, he took it off
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a context context. And of course there will be no
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: second presidential debate this week in Miami. The Commission on
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: Presidential Debates on Friday canceled the second debate between Donald
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: Trump and Joe Biden. Yeah, I mean, after the President
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: declined to do a virtual debate despite concerns over his
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: COVID nineteen run of debates, even with the overtime talking
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and him dropping out. Joe should have been able to
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: speak by himself if he didn't show up. I should
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: have just had a townhol like it was already said, yeah,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: man should have been well. But you can't go around
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: acting like you don't have COVID. She's gonna tell you what.
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: He can't fix the damage he did, so they don't
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: want to put him in another debate situation because they
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: found out he can't. Yeah, he won't. Yeah, and he can't.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: You're right. That's why they tried so to go so
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: hard on Kamala, like she did such a horrible job,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you know, that's all they had, and she did show. Yeah, man,
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Kamala was great, She really was. She really was, right,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: come on, Yeah, I just hate the fact that he's
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: going around like he doesn't have COVID. I can't. That gets,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: you know, more disturbing him. The idiots that go around
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: him and he has k yeah following him. It's okay, yeah,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: like you can just wish it away. I mean, he
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: said it again. It's going to disappear. It's going to disappear,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: all right, We're gonna switch gears here. Coming up at

- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Andrew Young and Bounced TV founder Ryan Glover to launch
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: a digital bank called Greenwood Now. Greenwood aims to become
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: the first digital bank for black and Latino individuals and businesses.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: So far, they have secured three million dollars in seed money.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Steve Yeah, and they chose the name Greenwood in homage
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: to the historic neighborhood in Tulsa Oklahoma that was once
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: home to some of the nation's highest performing black businesses. Yes,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Killer Mike says he hopes the bank will draw in
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: black customers and keep the black dollar within the community.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Greenwood will begin servicing customers next year twenty twenty one.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Great news. Yes, yeah, I like that. Yeah, what do
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: you think, Stee? I mean, you don't want to know
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: more about it, but it sounds really smart to start,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and I love to hear more about it. What the
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: plan is? Um, of course, to grow a bank, you
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: got to have customers, so that's very important. You know,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: if everybody just opened up one hundred dollar account. Yeah no,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I'm just saying, you know, how to know, you gotta
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: get it. You know, we gotta keep our eye on this,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: and we will opens up next year twenty twenty the Greenwood.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: We'll have more of a Ce Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: up at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: this you're listening to show, All right, Steave, time for
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: your favorite segment. It's called ask the clo the Chief
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Love Officer Chloe, as your nephew calls it. This one
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: is from Mary in Queens. It says, I'm forty one
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: years old and I've been engaged to my man for
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: six year. When you say Mary, let him breathe for
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: a miny, I know they'd I tried. That's why I
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: did it quickly so it could just right by all
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: right in Queens. I'm I'm forty one years old and
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: I've been engaged to my man for six years. And
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: I won't marry him because I cannot stand his kids.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: He has three teenage daughters and when we met, I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: told him he needed to start disciplining them while they
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: were young. They will sneak out of the house, take
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: his car, talk back to him, and they don't clean up.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: They had one chance to try me and I pop
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: one of them in the mouth so they would know
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: I don't play. How can I get him to take
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: control If he won't, does it means he doesn't love me? Well,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's not that he just doesn't know how to parent.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: He's a He's just he don't know how to handle
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: them girls. He's a man and he doesn't know. He's
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: afraid to discipline. He's he wants to be Disney Dad. Obviously,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: my question is do you live with him? I don't
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: know what the situation is so really, the bottom line is,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: why are we talking about this. You've been a game
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: for six years and you're not gonna marry because he
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: won't discipline yet and they got teenage George. He not
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: gonna discipline and looks like you're not gonna get married. YEP.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I ain't saying nothing to her about hitting him in
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: the mouth, but right, we don't think necessarily violence is
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: a way, but something needs to be done, and like
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: you say, doesn't look like she's gonna marry him. Courtland
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: in Texas says, I'm thirty two and my wife is
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: thirty years old and she likes to shop at Stories.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: It sells skimpy and cheap clubs. This started during the
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: quarantine and she ordered a lot of trendy off tops
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: and super short shorts. She dresses like this to run
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: errands with me, and I see how people look at her.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I thought I'd catch a break because of the cooler weather,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: but she just switched to wearing super tight leggings and
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: short jackets. A lot of the clothes are thin and
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: see through, and she's a little overweight. Can I tell
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: her that she is too big for these styles? Without
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: very carefully listened to this without hurting her feeling. Oh,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: there's no words for this, there's no there's no tender
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: way to say, Babay, I love you, I really do.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: You know? You weight and got out of hand and
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: you're wearing these tight ends clothes and you know they
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: you stretching it fabric. We can see your skin and
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: people starting to look at you and you're vast. It's
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: no way coming up. It's our last break of the day.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Listen up, damn. It is the last break of the day. Fast, okay,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: And of course we'll have some closing remarks from the
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: one and on late Steve Harvey and uh yeah we
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: might hear from Junior two where he's been on morning.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: All right, but all that's coming up at forty nine
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, right after this you're listening to show,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: all right, right before we get to Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: This is, by the way, our last break of the
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: day on this Monday. Um who we're gonna talk about
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: voting for a moment, but we all wanted to know Junior,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: thank you for today. Yeah what you know, I still
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: made a little late from home. Yeah, it's a little
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I a little late from home. I spend all weekend
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: discussing the health of sickle sale. I've been working all
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: week and I wanted to say thank you to the
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Atlanta Black Health Movement. We had a great weekend, three
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: days discussing black health. But I do want to put
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: this out here. I know I was late today. Forgive me.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I don't do it all the time. Just forgive it.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Don't be mad at men. I'm just trying to help people,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: because you know, sometimes you get tired trying to help people,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: but you gotta do it. All weekend. I did that part.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: But the great news that came out of this man
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: is that is that we discussed sickle cell, the state
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: of it for black I'm in a position where I
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: can help a lot of black people with sickle cell
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: when they battle. I'm just in position right now. We
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: just look at the position. So I'm gonna come back
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: with some more information about how we all can benefit
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: if we do this one thing. I'm not gonna say
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: what it is right now. Up, Steve is aware of it.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: Something I'm working on. Something aren't gonna help me. I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: appreciate you, Up, thank you just for even giving me
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: an idea. It's just a thought process and I'm just dreaming.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Be that's all, just dream should so forgive me for
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: being a little late this morning. I worked all weekend.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: I'm good though. I'm here for the closest. I'm here
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: for the closes. Yeah, you made it term. You're gonna
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: be negative anywhere. You wouldn't even hear last week. I know,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: I know I came in here. You're gonna have something
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to say you wouldn't hour. So okay, this is something
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: we don't want anyone to be late for it, okay.
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: And that's to vote. We want to vote early. Okay.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: We are three weeks away from the November third election day.
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: You can vote early. A lot of people have already voted,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: already vote. A lot of people are going to vote
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: tomorrow and the rest of this week. Please go to
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: vote dot org. Yeah, you can find out when you
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: can vote early in your state. All right, Please do that.
