- 0:00Speaker 1: Is the US a de facto member of IPEK right now.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Well, I'll tell you what, we are a very strong
- 0:05Speaker 2: presence in Venezuela. We're gonna get a lot of money
- 0:08Speaker 2: for Venezuela, and Venezuela has the largest oil reserves of
- 0:11Speaker 2: the world with the exception I think of our country yep,
- 0:14Speaker 2: and it's bigger than Saudi Arabia. And we are working
- 0:17Speaker 2: beautifully with Venezuela. I will tell you they're going to
- 0:20Speaker 2: do better now than they ever did that they've done
- 0:22Speaker 2: ever at any point, and we're going to be making
- 0:24Speaker 2: a lot of money for them and a lot of
- 0:26Speaker 2: money for our country. We have a very good relationship
- 0:28Speaker 2: with the leaders of Venezuela and.
- 0:30Speaker 3: We're gonna keep it.
- 0:31Speaker 4: If you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:34Speaker 4: Ben ferguson.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Good Monday morning, So nice to have you with us
- 0:38Speaker 3: on the forty seven Morning Update. And we've got one
- 0:40Speaker 3: big story for you. Donald Trump breaking the United Nations.
- 0:44Speaker 3: They're now begging for money and angry at the United
- 0:47Speaker 3: States of America for not sending them more. How did
- 0:51Speaker 3: Donald Trump do it? And what does this mean? Explain
- 0:53Speaker 3: it all to you. It's a forty seven Morning Update,
- 0:56Speaker 3: and it starts right now.
- 0:57Speaker 4: Story number one.
- 0:59Speaker 3: The United Nations is in theory going broke and needs
- 1:04Speaker 3: member nations to step up and send cash, and lots
- 1:09Speaker 3: of it. That is the plea from the Secretary General,
- 1:12Speaker 3: who fears that the globalist body is at risk of
- 1:16Speaker 3: imminent financial collapse quote unquote due to member states not
- 1:20Speaker 3: paying their fees. The former leader of the Portuguese Socialist
- 1:25Speaker 3: Party said Friday that the UN faces a financial crisis
- 1:30Speaker 3: which was deepening, threatening program delivery and money could run
- 1:35Speaker 3: out as soon as July, leaving the unaccountable globalist society destitute.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Doesn't that sound amazing?
- 1:44Speaker 3: By the way, Such is the financial drama unfolding at
- 1:47Speaker 3: the UN headquarters in Geneva. Signs warning of the situation
- 1:51Speaker 3: have reportedly been put up everywhere in an almost desperate
- 1:55Speaker 3: attempt to save cash. The escalators, they say, are regularly
- 1:59Speaker 3: turned off, the heating turned down. The BBC is now
- 2:02Speaker 3: reporting the man in charge in a massive email to
- 2:07Speaker 3: our cable or whatever you want to call it, to
- 2:10Speaker 3: all one hundred and ninety three member states, outlining his
- 2:13Speaker 3: fears and pleading they had to honor their mandatory payments
- 2:18Speaker 3: or overhauled the organization's financial rules to avoid collapse. Now
- 2:22Speaker 3: it comes after the UN's largest contributor, wait, wait for it,
- 2:26Speaker 3: drum roll please, you guessed it, the United States of
- 2:28Speaker 3: America refuse to contribute to its regular and peacekeeping budget
- 2:33Speaker 3: and withdrew from several agencies that called a waste of
- 2:37Speaker 3: taxpayer dollars. By the way, you can think literally Donald
- 2:40Speaker 3: Trump for this. These include the UN's Population Agency and
- 2:44Speaker 3: the UN treaty that establishes international climate negotiations.
- 2:49Speaker 1: As the AP reported it.
- 2:50Speaker 3: As well, the US also intends to exit dozens of
- 2:53Speaker 3: other global organizations or initiatives not affiliated with the UN
- 2:57Speaker 3: but still rely on massive UN funding. Here's something that's interesting.
- 3:01Speaker 3: One person put on social media question, what do you
- 3:04Speaker 3: call Don Trump defunding sixty six globalists anti American organizations
- 3:09Speaker 3: and calling back billions of US taxpayer dollars.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Answer?
- 3:12Speaker 3: A good start. By the way, I couldn't agree more
- 3:16Speaker 3: with that. He's absolutely right to do it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Now.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you more about that money in
- 3:21Speaker 3: a moment, but let me get back to this. The
- 3:24Speaker 3: BBC now reports the Secretary General wrote that the UN,
- 3:27Speaker 3: which officially came into being in October of nineteen forty five,
- 3:32Speaker 3: had faced financial crisis in the past, but the current
- 3:35Speaker 3: situation was categorically quote unquote different decisions not to honor
- 3:41Speaker 3: assess contributions that finances significant share of the approved regular
- 3:46Speaker 3: budget have now been formally announced, as Secretary General said,
- 3:50Speaker 3: without naming specific members, He said the integrity of the
- 3:53Speaker 3: entire system depends on states adhering to their obligation under
- 3:57Speaker 3: the UN Charter to pay their assessed contributions, adding that's
- 4:00Speaker 3: seventy seven percent of the total ode have been paid
- 4:04Speaker 3: in twenty twenty five, leaving a record amount unpaid. By
- 4:07Speaker 3: the way, what's also really funny if you google this guy,
- 4:10Speaker 3: this dude has like been eaten high on the hag okay,
- 4:12Speaker 3: Like he's a fat dude, And a lot of his
- 4:15Speaker 3: pictures show him in luxury situations like a private jet
- 4:19Speaker 3: or a private helicopter. That's just one example of like
- 4:23Speaker 3: who this dude is. Like you want to talk about
- 4:24Speaker 3: somebody needs to tighten the belt, it's this guy now. Now,
- 4:27Speaker 3: de Gutia has said a rule that the UN must
- 4:30Speaker 3: return unspent money on particular programs to members if it
- 4:33Speaker 3: could not implement a budget created a double blow in
- 4:37Speaker 3: which it was expected to give back cast that does
- 4:40Speaker 3: not exist. Well, hold on, I seid, you're supposed to
- 4:42Speaker 3: give it back if it's not used, where'd it go,
- 4:44Speaker 3: mister EWN Secretary General. I'm asking for I don't know,
- 4:47Speaker 3: a bunch of taxpayers in America.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Quote.
- 4:50Speaker 3: I cannot overstate the urgency of the situation we now face.
- 4:53Speaker 3: We cannot execute budgets with uncollected funds nor return funds.
- 4:59Speaker 3: We never reset now. The US is the UN's largest contributor.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Donald Trump has said it was not fulfilling its great potential,
- 5:09Speaker 3: and then he criticized it for failing to support US
- 5:11Speaker 3: led peace efforts, especially in the Middle East. You also
- 5:14Speaker 3: have to remember it was the same UN that was
- 5:17Speaker 3: busted helping Hamas and Hezballah. Yes, they were actually helping them.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I'll have more on that story in a minute. The
- 5:23Speaker 3: US did not pay its contributions to the UN's regular
- 5:25Speaker 3: budget in twenty twenty five, and offered only thirty percent
- 5:29Speaker 3: of its expected funding to UN peacekeeping operations. Why because
- 5:33Speaker 3: they're pretty much worthless now. In January last year, Trump
- 5:36Speaker 3: withdrew it from dozens of international organizations, including thirty one
- 5:41Speaker 3: UN agencies to quote in American taxpayer funding and involvement
- 5:46Speaker 3: in entities that advanced globalist agendas over US priorities. The
- 5:51Speaker 3: President said, Now the UN's thirst for other people's money appears,
- 5:55Speaker 3: well something that they're not going to stop any time soon,
- 5:58Speaker 3: because they're crying out for the rest of the world
- 6:00Speaker 3: to give them money and demanding that. America is in
- 6:03Speaker 3: a huge check. I expect some of the world to
- 6:06Speaker 3: like be suckered into this and like, yeah, we'll stand
- 6:08Speaker 3: up and you know, do this.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I don't think America should send any of this money.
- 6:12Speaker 3: In fact, I actually believe we should just completely get
- 6:15Speaker 3: out of the UN, except for having one person show
- 6:17Speaker 3: up so we know what's going on. But like, we
- 6:19Speaker 3: should not give any money to the United Nations, in
- 6:22Speaker 3: my opinion, like the bare minimum, just to have a
- 6:25Speaker 3: seat at the table, like whatever that is.
- 6:27Speaker 1: That's all I think. Any of the other crap.
- 6:29Speaker 3: I don't think we should be involved in any of
- 6:31Speaker 3: it because these are Marxist socialists and communists that are
- 6:33Speaker 3: running the organization. Literally, a former communist is running the organization.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Now here's the second part of the story, which is
- 6:40Speaker 3: really interesting. The Trump administration announced it's taking US tax
- 6:44Speaker 3: payer dollars away from What they have said is sixty
- 6:48Speaker 3: six globalist organizations, nearly half of them affiliated with the
- 6:52Speaker 3: United Nations, and all of which are identified as quote,
- 6:56Speaker 3: contrary to the interests of the United States. Most notable
- 7:01Speaker 3: is the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change known as
- 7:04Speaker 3: the UNFCCC, the parent treaty underpin all the major international
- 7:10Speaker 3: climate agreements. The treaty was adopted in nineteen ninety two.
- 7:14Speaker 3: It's a global pack by nations to cooperate to drive
- 7:17Speaker 3: down planet warming greenhouse gast missions and adapt to the
- 7:21Speaker 3: impacts of so called climate change. So they're saying, if
- 7:24Speaker 3: you don't do this, and it's all this money we waste,
- 7:26Speaker 3: and it goes all these special organizations, interest groups and
- 7:29Speaker 3: family members and friends of all the powerful people, and
- 7:31Speaker 3: it doesn't do jack crap.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's the reality of the situation, okay. Quote.
- 7:36Speaker 3: The decision by the world's largest economy and second largest
- 7:39Speaker 3: emitter of I guess greenhouse gases to retreat from this
- 7:44Speaker 3: is regrettable and unfortunate.
- 7:46Speaker 1: That is what they set at the time. When we
- 7:48Speaker 1: decide to.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Get out, we will unequivocally support and continue to support
- 7:52Speaker 3: international climate research as the foundation of our understanding and work.
- 7:57Speaker 3: We will also continue to work on international climate cooperation. Trump,
- 8:01Speaker 3: by the way, who has thrown the full weight of
- 8:03Speaker 3: his domestic policy behind fossil fuels, has openly scorned speculation
- 8:11Speaker 3: of human activity that is warming the planet, and the
- 8:14Speaker 3: UN has.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Condemned him for that. Did you already just said? Has
- 8:19Speaker 1: condemned him for that. Now.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Trump's administration has also sent no representative the most recent
- 8:26Speaker 3: UN Climate Summit in Brazil in November, which is held
- 8:29Speaker 3: every year under the guidance of the United Nations. Now
- 8:33Speaker 3: Trump is making sure that your tax dollars are no
- 8:36Speaker 3: longer spent at the discretion of the UN and its
- 8:40Speaker 3: associated global affiliates or entities. Why because the President said
- 8:45Speaker 3: no more. Presence memo also directs the United States to
- 8:49Speaker 3: withdraw from the inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change, the
- 8:54Speaker 3: UN body responsible for assessing client science, alongside other climate
- 8:58Speaker 3: related organizations including the International Renewable Energy associ Agency, the
- 9:02Speaker 3: UN Oceans and UN Water As in his first term,
- 9:05Speaker 3: Trump is also a draw in the United States from
- 9:08Speaker 3: the UN e SCO, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural
- 9:13Speaker 3: organization which Washington had rejoined under of course, Joe Biden.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Trump has likewise pulled the US out of the World
- 9:21Speaker 3: Health Organization, sharply reduced for an AID. California governor, by
- 9:25Speaker 3: the way, Gavin Newsom said the move was made by
- 9:28Speaker 3: a brainless president who is surrendering America's leadership on the
- 9:32Speaker 3: world stage and waking our ability to compete in the
- 9:35Speaker 3: economy of the future, creating a leadership vacuum that he
- 9:38Speaker 3: now says that China is going to exploit you.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I mean not kidding you. Literally cannot make this crap up. Now.
- 9:45Speaker 3: I bring all this to you, and I tell you
- 9:46Speaker 3: all this because right now you should be extremely proud
- 9:51Speaker 3: and extremely happy that we have a president United States
- 9:54Speaker 3: of America that is doing this and not just like
- 9:57Speaker 3: on a little scale, is right up throwing it down
- 10:02Speaker 3: on it.
- 10:02Speaker 1: He's not waiting. He's not doing it in a very
- 10:06Speaker 1: in a very quick way.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Okay, he's not doing it in a like a in
- 10:11Speaker 3: a Hey, I'll act like I'm making a difference by
- 10:14Speaker 3: cutting some stuff, and I'm gonna move on really fast.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I don't know this this President Donald Trump. He went
- 10:20Speaker 3: in and said, stop it all. Don't just stop a
- 10:23Speaker 3: little bit. Just don't don't stop like a token program here, okay,
- 10:28Speaker 3: or a token program there.
- 10:29Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, stop it.
- 10:32Speaker 3: All, stop every bit of it, stop it all, and
- 10:39Speaker 3: it truly is incredible.
