- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: These kids are accused of violently attacking a little five-year-old girl.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, our original has the beyond disturbing details.

- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: This happened in Cleveland, let's go.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_09]: Either way, you look at this story.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_09]: It's just devastating all three people involved in this situation under the age of 11.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_09]: I literally thought a worse thing ever.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_09]: Like, in Tavia, Kenny Brew, a mother heartbroken and pleading for justice.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_09]: Police say her five-year-old daughter was beaten, scouted and sexually assaulted.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: by nine and a 10-year-old child.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: And this happened to a five-year-old.

- 7:31[SPEAKER_09]: I saw my daughter.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, recognize the boy, Kay Bruce says she dropped her daughter off with a family member on September 13th.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_09]: Somehow, the five-year-old got outside, the next thing the mother knows her little girl is being treated by paramedics.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_09]: Police say the Brula's hack happened in a field near East 148th Street and St. Claire Avenue.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_09]: Her hair was...
- 7:53[SPEAKER_10]: scout from her head.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_10]: She had bruises and blood all over her body.

- 8:05[SPEAKER_09]: 19 news spoke to Kenny Brew last week.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_09]: Nearly a month after the attack, she's still wondering how and why this could have happened.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_09]: The Kyle Gakami prosecutors office charging the children with some adult-like crimes, attempted murder, rape, kidnapping.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_09]: attempt it murder, rape, kidnapping, on a five-year-old, and strangulation, Kenny Brue telling us her daughter is left emotionally and physically hurt.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_09]: I will hurt her to just
- 8:45[SPEAKER_09]: That would be somewhat a normal five-year-old again.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_09]: A prosecutor's office says they are still going through evidence and getting new information.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: Our team reached out to Cable's lawyer for common on these charges, but have not heard back for now.

- 9:34[SPEAKER_01]: How does it happen?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: scout, they took her hair and cut it out of her head.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: Why she had dirt on a knee for nails where she was just laying there, motionless, digging for the pain that she was going through.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: Getting raped.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_01]: by nine and 10-year-old, I got more.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: Same thing, gotta hear, a little bit more is.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we got here a little bit more is.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: that the mother and the child had to go through this.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_01]: No reason for it.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: No reason at all.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: But yet it happened.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know guys.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen that like this.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: I've never heard nothing like this.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: You hear me?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: Never.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I've never heard nothing like this.

- 12:02[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, Nicky, thank you.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_03]: New developments now on a chilling case said has shocked our entire community in nine year old, a 10 year old accused of attempted murder and rape in an absolutely brutal attack.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_03]: And the victim just five years old, both suspects were supposed to appear in juvenile court this morning.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_03]: Only one showed up, Katie Tursick was inside the courtroom, spoke to the victim's mother.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_06]: The 10-year-old girl walked into a courtroom this morning, accused of unthinkable crimes.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_06]: She came wearing a face mask dressed in a pink coat, saying silent, the entire time, as the prosecutor outlined the charges.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_04]: This case results in the facts that a five-year-old, on September 13th of 2025, was found naked in a field here in a pond.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: And you heard that, I didn't say this last time.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: The 5-year-old also was urinating on somebody pissed on her, a 5-year-old child got pissed on.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_04]: And assaulted with a weapon.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_04]: At the very minimum, you're on her, having spoken with the, uh, with the biggest family, the very minimum you're on her, we are asking for a comb detention with ankle monitor.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_06]: A family member of her sat behind her during the hearing as a judge placed the 10 year old unhomed attention with electronic monitor.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_05]: I can't really imagine circumstances in which these would be the charges, and I would not release the son sort of fort supervision.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_06]: The victim's mother and Tavia Kenny Bre was in court, too, and understandably emotional.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_10]: This type of behavior doesn't deserve grace.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_10]: They knew what they were doing, and that was okay with that.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_10]: They even play, they even play after.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_06]: A nine year old suspect was also supposed to be in court today, but he did not show up.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_06]: His family said that they were having car troubles.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_06]: The judge ordered the boy to be in court within the next week or else, she will have to issue in a rest warrant, another stunning twist in a case that is still hard to understand.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: I want you guys to know nine charges, nine charges were brought against these two youth.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_01]: three or four rape charges, assault charge, attempted murder charge, also, as well, in court, guys, in court, I family member represented the 10-year-old, but she has no mother and no father, the 10-year-old.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: The grandmother that's sitting there,
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Or whoever she is sitting there, wear a hoodie in the court appearance over her head, a mass that you can't see or face.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_01]: She was so embarrassed that this happened.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: on appearance, you know, they want to keep things discreet because these are minors.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: So they have rights.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: You can't just give out the information.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: You can't just talk to them about what happened.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: You can't give out the location.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they act for monitors to be put on their ankles.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: I will keep you posted with this.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: But for this five year old, what's next for her?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: how she recovers from this.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_01]: Five years old.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: Could you imagine your five-year-old should just be chilling?
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: And yet, she had to fight for her life.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: She don't even know how to fight at five.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: What is she doing?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Acting like she's swinging?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_01]: What can she do at five?
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: This is horrible man, this is horrible.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: I'm speechless, I never seen him like this.
