- 0:50Speaker 1: me in doing me. Honey. You gotta turn, you gotta turn, turn, turn,
- 1:43Speaker 1: got the turnout, then turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back that I sure will come morning.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig me
- 2:07Speaker 1: now one it only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeoh, man, boy,
- 2:13Speaker 1: God has been good to me. Man, I can't really
- 2:17Speaker 1: count at all. You can't either, you know. It's all
- 2:20Speaker 1: in perspective. You really can't count all that God has
- 2:24Speaker 1: done for you if you look at every little thing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It's unbelievable the things He's done for us. How many
- 2:31Speaker 1: times you know, we got through something without even talking
- 2:34Speaker 1: to him about it. He just he just blessed us
- 2:37Speaker 1: with it. How many you know? It's just it's so
- 2:40Speaker 1: much that the fact that you wake up in the morning,
- 2:43Speaker 1: the fact that you still have a place to stay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the fact that you know may be struggling out here,
- 2:47Speaker 1: but guess what you still going to work. You you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: you live in check the check, but but you're making
- 2:52Speaker 1: it all. You got all the plates spinning. You know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: it's hard. You got a lot of plates spinning, but
- 2:57Speaker 1: you keep him up there somewhere. Every now I near
- 2:59Speaker 1: one break, but he put two more back up there
- 3:01Speaker 1: to look a little bit better. And you got to
- 3:02Speaker 1: get to spending them so it all works. And then
- 3:06Speaker 1: you got a lot of people who just can't seem
- 3:09Speaker 1: to mentally put it together as to you know, why
- 3:15Speaker 1: their life isn't in a position that they wanted to be.
- 3:18Speaker 1: We talked about this oftentimes, but I want to try
- 3:20Speaker 1: another angle with you to day. You know, maybe it's you.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about that? Maybe it's you. Maybe
- 3:31Speaker 1: it's no external force that's at fault, like you keep
- 3:34Speaker 1: making the excuse to be You know, so many people
- 3:38Speaker 1: I hear, well, if this hadn't have done this, if
- 3:40Speaker 1: he hadn't have done that, if she hadn't have done that,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would have been further along. I wasted all my time,
- 3:47Speaker 1: my years with this man, and he did this, and
- 3:50Speaker 1: I could have been here, and I could have been there,
- 3:53Speaker 1: and this woman she did this to me. If she
- 3:55Speaker 1: hadn't have done that, I could have been here, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: I could have been there. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: not really that external force that you keep making it
- 4:06Speaker 1: out to be. See, I've done this to myself before.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Once again, I'm talking to you about something I know about.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I've done this to myself before. I've had the reason
- 4:19Speaker 1: I wasn't where I wanted to be. I had it
- 4:23Speaker 1: figured out as some external force. I had worked it
- 4:27Speaker 1: out in my mind. Clearly it wasn't me, because if
- 4:32Speaker 1: so and so, or if this hadn't happened, and if
- 4:35Speaker 1: they hadn't have done this, I would have been further
- 4:38Speaker 1: along up the road. That's what I was saying. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: WOLDO hold on it or learned a valuable lesson? Man, See,
- 4:46Speaker 1: if you don't ever let it go, it's gonna be
- 4:52Speaker 1: hard for you to go. If you don't ever let
- 4:57Speaker 1: it go, it's gonna be hard for you to go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I was listening to Bishop td Jake's one day, and
- 5:04Speaker 1: I heard him say, you can't drive your car if
- 5:10Speaker 1: you're gonna keep looking in the rearview mirror. You go
- 5:15Speaker 1: outside and try that. Try to drive your car, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: keep your eye in the rearview mirror. All you looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: at is where you're being. All you looking at in
- 5:25Speaker 1: that rearview mirrors where you're passed or should have passed,
- 5:28Speaker 1: something you should have moved on from. All you're doing
- 5:32Speaker 1: is looking in that rearview mirror at what happened back there.
- 5:36Speaker 1: If you don't stop looking in the rearview mirror, you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: gonna crash your car over and over and over again.
- 5:45Speaker 1: All you got to slow it down so bad in
- 5:49Speaker 1: order for you to keep looking in that rearview mirror.
- 5:53Speaker 1: If you don't learn to let it go, it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be hard for you to go forward because you keep
- 6:03Speaker 1: reviewing the past. The past is the past, and I
- 6:08Speaker 1: know it's hard. Man. I watched a show and this
- 6:10Speaker 1: lady said, well, I just can't ever forgive them for that,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or guess what. Guess what God may have already forgiven
- 6:19Speaker 1: that person. That person may be extremely remorseful, could have
- 6:24Speaker 1: gone to God and God and forgiveness for it years ago.
- 6:28Speaker 1: But you you sit here and you keep hanging on
- 6:32Speaker 1: to the back. I can't ever forgive that. Then I
- 6:36Speaker 1: heard Bishop Jakes come on the show one time and
- 6:39Speaker 1: say something that really really struck on you keep drinking
- 6:43Speaker 1: the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. He said that.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I just shook my head and went, wow, you drinking
- 6:54Speaker 1: the poison waiting on your enemy to die. Revenge is
- 6:59Speaker 1: poor to you. You know, if hatred is poising to
- 7:06Speaker 1: you unforgivingness, when you won't forgive a person, that person
- 7:12Speaker 1: could be going on with their life, made the right
- 7:15Speaker 1: with God. Don't know how you're feeling. They're skipping through life. Now.
- 7:19Speaker 1: You make adjustments every time you see them, and it
- 7:21Speaker 1: takes energy. Man, it takes so much energy to hate.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It takes so much energy not to forgive too. Now
- 7:29Speaker 1: they come in the room. You got to avoid them.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Stay over here, Oh here they come. Now you got
- 7:34Speaker 1: to make a situation over here. They come into the house.
- 7:37Speaker 1: It's family reunion. Oh here they come. And where they're
- 7:40Speaker 1: gonna be in the basement. I'm going up on the
- 7:42Speaker 1: third floor. I want to go ahead and get some barbecue.
- 7:44Speaker 1: She out there at the barbecue, staying, Oh lord, I
- 7:46Speaker 1: don't want a barbecue. I just eat to take the salade. People.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Man take themselves all out of position, trying to make adjustments,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when if you it would simplify your life, if you
- 7:58Speaker 1: would let just let it go. Maybe you ain't where
- 8:01Speaker 1: you need to be because of them external forces altogether.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Maybe you're not where you need to be cause of you.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Because you won't let it go, you won't move forward.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Look at this, ladies. Let's say you've been in a
- 8:15Speaker 1: situation with a man for years. It didn't work out
- 8:20Speaker 1: for whatever the reason, it just didn't work out. I got,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I got what you said he did. I got what
- 8:25Speaker 1: he did, I got all of that. YadA YadA YadA.
- 8:29Speaker 1: When you get through, did not God get you through it?
- 8:35Speaker 1: Did not he allow you to survive it? I got you,
- 8:40Speaker 1: got some cuts on you, I got you been a
- 8:42Speaker 1: little bit bruised. But did he not get you through it? So,
- 8:48Speaker 1: now that he's freed you from it, now he didn't
- 8:50Speaker 1: went on. He got a whole other family over that somewhere.
- 8:53Speaker 1: He now he trying to make it right because maybe
- 8:55Speaker 1: he learned the mistake he made and now he trying
- 8:58Speaker 1: to be a better man. He just trying to get
- 8:59Speaker 1: it right now. But you're sitting there holding onto it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You're drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die.
- 9:06Speaker 1: So now instead of you enjoying the blessing of finally
- 9:09Speaker 1: being free from a situation that was not healthy for you.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You create an even more unhealthy situation in your mind
- 9:16Speaker 1: by hating, by having revengeful thoughts, by hoping he fall
- 9:21Speaker 1: on his face. Maybe you're even doing something to the
- 9:24Speaker 1: other situation to make sure they struggle. Oh man, you're
- 9:28Speaker 1: drinking the poison, waiting on your enemy to die. Maybe
- 9:32Speaker 1: you ain't where you ought to be in life, not
- 9:34Speaker 1: because of your external forces, but maybe it's you. If
- 9:39Speaker 1: you don't let it go, it's gonna be hard for
- 9:42Speaker 1: you to go. You can't keep driving your car looking
- 9:46Speaker 1: in the rear view mirror. Come on, man, Forgiveness is
- 9:52Speaker 1: not for the other person. Forgiveness is for you. But
- 9:58Speaker 1: shop Jake's got a book out man, and called let
- 10:00Speaker 1: It Go. I'm telling you read this book. It'll help yourself.
- 10:03Speaker 1: It's not just for people who who are angry. This
- 10:07Speaker 1: is for people, man, who don't even know the little
- 10:09Speaker 1: things you hold it on too. You don't even know
- 10:12Speaker 1: the name of the book is let it Go? Man.
- 10:14Speaker 1: I had to read it and go wow, Man, I
- 10:16Speaker 1: had really had to check myself all that I know
- 10:18Speaker 1: about this thing called life and trying to succeed. I
- 10:22Speaker 1: still need refreshing courses and remind us every now and then.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Maybe hold on, man, Maybe you've been sometimes man, it's
- 10:29Speaker 1: just you holding on to a business practice too long.
- 10:33Speaker 1: You know. I had to catch myself. You know, I
- 10:36Speaker 1: said a thousand times, if you keep doing what you've
- 10:38Speaker 1: been doing, you're gonna keep getting what you've been getting.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Maybe you need to change your business practice. Maybe it's
- 10:43Speaker 1: the way you've been doing a certain thing. You just
- 10:46Speaker 1: got to let that go, because if you let it go,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it frees you up to goal. It's hard to get
- 10:52Speaker 1: to the next level with all that baggage. Steve Harvey
- 10:56Speaker 1: Morning Show, yep, you're listening to show, ladies and gentlemen.

- 11:32Speaker 1: This is my first solda I've had in four years.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Ain't back. I just wanted it, you know. I it
- 11:40Speaker 1: was either to add or some juice. But if I

- 22:44Speaker 1: can get you to come to the store. There's a
- 22:46Speaker 1: bit of a situation I want to discuss with you.
- 22:49Speaker 1: There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise missing from
- 22:53Speaker 1: the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise.
- 22:58Speaker 1: And we definitely know that this is a in house situation.
- 23:01Speaker 1: This is not someone walking in shoplifting. This is definitely
- 23:05Speaker 1: an in house situation with employees who have evidently been
- 23:10Speaker 1: shoplifting from the store, taking things. And we want to
- 23:12Speaker 1: get down to the to the roots of the problem. Okay, well, ma'am,
- 23:18Speaker 1: it's uh, it's been brought to my attention that there's
- 23:21Speaker 1: a possibility that you may be part of this situation
- 23:27Speaker 1: and a thief. I don't steal. You don't call my
- 23:33Speaker 1: house accusing me. Is still I stole? Listening from nobody? Okay, well,
- 23:37Speaker 1: my hangar man, what I'm trying to do is just
- 23:39Speaker 1: trying to you, trying to say out and stole something
- 23:43Speaker 1: and I stole them. Okay, wait just a second. Now here,
- 23:47Speaker 1: do you have a sister named Cynthia? Yeah, what about it? Well, now,
- 23:51Speaker 1: it seems that here on some of the footage that
- 23:54Speaker 1: we have on camera, that it's a possibility that it
- 23:58Speaker 1: seems like your sister's actually wearing some of the merchandise
- 24:01Speaker 1: that we sell here in the store. Okay, just because
- 24:04Speaker 1: she wears something that we sell in the store, don't
- 24:07Speaker 1: mean that I stole it. Well, we don't see where
- 24:11Speaker 1: she's act. I backed the footage up as far as
- 24:14Speaker 1: I could. I don't see any footage of where she
- 24:16Speaker 1: purchased this particular merchandise. And my assumption is maybe you
- 24:20Speaker 1: gave it to her. I gave her and just because
- 24:24Speaker 1: you don't see what somebody purchased. It don't mean that
- 24:26Speaker 1: it's been stolen. Okay, here's what I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 24:29Speaker 1: just get to the chase of this, Tanya. What I'm
- 24:32Speaker 1: gonna have to do is this if I can't get
- 24:35Speaker 1: you to come to the store. Man. And matter of fact,
- 24:38Speaker 1: here's another question for you before I go any further.
- 24:40Speaker 1: You have children at all, Tanya? Yeah? I got children?
- 24:43Speaker 1: Why because I'm missing a lot of baby merchandise as well.
- 24:49Speaker 1: And you know what, you know what you really cruising
- 24:52Speaker 1: for this morning? Okay, because you don't call somebody on
- 24:56Speaker 1: the off day accusing them of stealing. Okay, that's what
- 25:00Speaker 1: I gotta do. Are you coming into the office so
- 25:02Speaker 1: I can talk with you. I'm not coming no where
- 25:06Speaker 1: on my off day. Well, then what's gonna happen, Miss Tanya,
- 25:10Speaker 1: is I'm gonna have to actually come to your home,
- 25:13Speaker 1: check your closets. I'm gonna have to check your kids
- 25:15Speaker 1: and see if they're what check and see if they're
- 25:18Speaker 1: wearing merchandise that comes from this. Come to my house
- 25:21Speaker 1: if you want to, and they're gonna take yourbody here
- 25:24Speaker 1: in the body bad excuse me? You heard what I
- 25:27Speaker 1: said you heard what I said. You don't call nobody.
- 25:30Speaker 1: I bust my death store. I bust my to death store.
- 25:33Speaker 1: You understand me. I work hard for y'all. Okay, you
- 25:37Speaker 1: you've been busting you, you've been busting. You car here
- 25:40Speaker 1: excusing me of stealing. I ain't so from nobody. I
- 25:43Speaker 1: don't have to steal. That's why I work all that.
- 25:46Speaker 1: You understand. I think you've been busting your butt. Taking
- 25:49Speaker 1: stuff is what you've been doing. You've been from nobody.
- 25:53Speaker 1: You understand me. I do not steal. I'm gonna come
- 25:56Speaker 1: over there. I'm checking your closets things, but it ain't
- 26:00Speaker 1: no sea, you understand. And I'm checking your babies as well.
- 26:03Speaker 1: And I'm making check my babies. And see what happened.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You put your hands on any damn thing in here,
- 26:08Speaker 1: and see what happens. Okay, I don't wanta have to
- 26:11Speaker 1: drag your button here. Drag Oh you're gonna drag somebody? Oh? Now,

- 26:20Speaker 1: your job that much you're willing to die for that? Huh?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Who said anything about me? Die? I did come over
- 26:27Speaker 1: here and that's what's gonna happen. That's what happens when
- 26:29Speaker 1: you put people on the off day, you get hurt. Okay,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I get a couple of damn days off, and y'all
- 26:35Speaker 1: gonna call me with this. So are you threatening me? Now?

- 26:45Speaker 1: I'm don't bring your security guard. I'm all, don't let
- 26:49Speaker 1: me tell you something. Okay, I get you. I can
- 26:52Speaker 1: have you brought up on charges. You know that, bring
- 26:55Speaker 1: me up on charges and see what happens. Want to
- 26:58Speaker 1: charge see if you get that far. I'm on my
- 27:00Speaker 1: way over there now to check you when your kids.
- 27:03Speaker 1: You understand me, I'm over here to check me and

- 27:09Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You got to tell me.
- 27:12Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing to tell me, You ain't got something.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Why don't you go ahead and tell me what you took.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Maybe I'll go light on you. I'll go like I'm
- 27:20Speaker 1: stupid or something. You don't sound like a damned food.

- 29:58Speaker 1: what they're doing, because NA tell what they're gonna have
- 30:03Speaker 1: to do. We're gonna have entertainment news. You're listening string show. Well,
- 30:10Speaker 1: Beyonce patted her bank account this past Saturday. Whoa with
- 30:14Speaker 1: a private performance at a pre wedding bash for the
- 30:17Speaker 1: daughter of the wealthiest man in India. Steve. The bride
- 30:21Speaker 1: to be's father is worth forty billion. That's billion with
- 30:25Speaker 1: a B, and ranks on four of magazines top twenty
- 30:29Speaker 1: richest people on the planet, Top twenty. Yeah, top twenty.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. If I get forty billion dollars,
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm number one, your bull. Hey, lesh, you'all gonna think
- 30:41Speaker 1: I him that damn that's on the planet. Yeah. Really.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Beyonce posted a picture on the Instagram of her exotic
- 30:47Speaker 1: gown from the lavish party and the caption read in
- 30:50Speaker 1: India and just attended a spectacular event. She didn't say
- 30:55Speaker 1: where she was the star. The article also didn't add
- 30:59Speaker 1: how much Beyonce was paid. I mean people were talking
- 31:01Speaker 1: she had to get at least three million, five million.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I mean it was going on and on. What do
- 31:06Speaker 1: you guys think, Yeah, yeah, yeah. For whatever she got
- 31:09Speaker 1: out of overder, I'll take Beyonce, check I don't get
- 31:13Speaker 1: a damn or sight on the seat and try to
- 31:15Speaker 1: get the same dance perform. Give it to you a man.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Everything I got that was a drop of the bucket
- 31:23Speaker 1: for forty millions. I have hand bone for half of that.
- 31:29Speaker 1: I do the hambone in the Spoon Show with the
- 31:32Speaker 1: spoons on your man be over there with a washboard
- 31:39Speaker 1: three million. I'm up in a hooked up with jayon
- 31:42Speaker 1: Confectionary Sugar on three to follow. So this is what
- 31:49Speaker 1: I was talking about earlier. Guys. With the Heisman Trophy
- 31:51Speaker 1: winner Kyler Murray Junior got to celebrate Saturday night after
- 31:55Speaker 1: being named college football's best player, but by Sunday morning,
- 31:59Speaker 1: the party was over and he was suddenly apologizing for
- 32:03Speaker 1: some deleted homophobic tweets he made when he was fifteen
- 32:07Speaker 1: years old. Early Sunday morning, Murray truth tweeted, I apologize
- 32:12Speaker 1: for the tweets that have come to light tonight from
- 32:15Speaker 1: when I was fourteen and fifteen. I used a poor
- 32:17Speaker 1: choice of words that doesn't reflect who I am or
- 32:20Speaker 1: what I believe. I do not intend to single out
- 32:23Speaker 1: any individual or group. I did not intend to do that.
- 32:26Speaker 1: This is just another big reminder that when you put
- 32:29Speaker 1: anything on social media, it sticks around for every guys,
- 32:32Speaker 1: even even if you delete it. This happened when he
- 32:36Speaker 1: was fourteen or fifteen. You know, to get on this
- 32:41Speaker 1: kid about something he did at fourteen or fifteen. It's
- 32:45Speaker 1: utterly ridiculous. Yes, it is utterly ridiculous. The kid wins
- 32:51Speaker 1: the hisman, and here they come when he made some
- 32:53Speaker 1: homophobic remarks when he was fourteen? Are you kidding me? Man?
- 32:58Speaker 1: Everybody did something when didn't know what we did fourteen, fifteen, eighteen,
- 33:04Speaker 1: twenty thirty. And listen, man, before this politically corrects uh
- 33:12Speaker 1: being started. You can't go back and get this stuff
- 33:16Speaker 1: I did. Yeah, it's ridiculous, man. You can't go back
- 33:21Speaker 1: and keep beating somebody up. Now, he got apologize something
- 33:24Speaker 1: he did when he was fourteen. A damn mine. You
- 33:27Speaker 1: can't even lock him up for none of this. Yeah,
- 33:30Speaker 1: get out of here. We gotta move On't time for
- 33:34Speaker 1: the headlines, Steve Shelley, You don't move us a long? Yeah,
- 33:37Speaker 1: that's my job. Was long? Oh boy, that is my job?
- 33:41Speaker 1: And feel good right fifth day one? Yeah, since day one? Sir,
- 33:50Speaker 1: let mis hand? What was that? Miss a hand? Move
- 33:56Speaker 1: that snow along? And I will tell you about that
- 33:58Speaker 1: right now. This is a trip with the news. Virginians
- 34:00Speaker 1: and North Carolina Carolinians are trying to move the snow along.
- 34:04Speaker 1: They're digging out from a massive snowstorm over the last
- 34:07Speaker 1: two and a half days, which has left many parts,
- 34:09Speaker 1: especially at the tar Heel state, under mounds of snow, ice,
- 34:13Speaker 1: and slush. Thousands of people still out of power, the
- 34:16Speaker 1: schools are closed. At least three storm related deaths are reported,
- 34:20Speaker 1: and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper says things could get worse.
- 34:23Speaker 1: With cold temperatures today and freezing nights ahead. The snow
- 34:27Speaker 1: and ice and the danger may not go away as
- 34:30Speaker 1: quickly as they came. The governor says some places got
- 34:33Speaker 1: wood would be a year's worth of the white stuff
- 34:35Speaker 1: and a little more than a day. North Carolina is
- 34:38Speaker 1: still under a state of emergency. President Trump is still
- 34:41Speaker 1: looking for a new chief of staff now that Major
- 34:43Speaker 1: John Kelly is leaving. Reports are that some rumored candidates
- 34:47Speaker 1: don't seem to want the job. They keep taking their
- 34:49Speaker 1: names out of contention, like oh no, that's okay. A
- 34:51Speaker 1: new chief of staff would be Trump's third chief of
- 34:54Speaker 1: staff in less than two years. In Ohio, FBI agents
- 34:58Speaker 1: say they've taken two people into custody near Cleveland in
- 35:00Speaker 1: a connection with two separate alleged terra plots. US attorney
- 35:04Speaker 1: Justin Herdman says that one involves a man suspected of
- 35:07Speaker 1: planning to shoot up two synagogues in the Toledo area.
- 35:10Speaker 1: We do not have to and we will not wait
- 35:13Speaker 1: for someone to shoot up innocent worshippers at a synagogue
- 35:16Speaker 1: or did that nate a bomb? We will act to
- 35:18Speaker 1: protect our nation and Herdman says a young woman is
- 35:20Speaker 1: suspected of planning several bombings. Again though she said, they
- 35:23Speaker 1: say that's there were two separate things. They weren't connected.
- 35:26Speaker 1: The former chairman of Nissan, Carlos Going, has been indicted
- 35:30Speaker 1: for alleged financial misconduct. Prosecutors say this guy Goings concealed
- 35:33Speaker 1: tens of millions of dollars in compensation. Goings led Nissan,
- 35:38Speaker 1: Renault and Mitsubishi at the same time. Once. Filming has
- 35:41Speaker 1: stopped for now on next seasons episodes of the Stars
- 35:45Speaker 1: cable series Power. Officials say that filming for The Populace
- 35:48Speaker 1: Show sixth season was suspended yesterday after a member of
- 35:51Speaker 1: the crew was accidentally killed. Production system pedro himandus was
- 35:55Speaker 1: fatally struck by an SGUV as he was setting up
- 35:58Speaker 1: parking cones at about thirty in the morning in advance
- 36:01Speaker 1: of yesterday's schedule shoot in Brooklyn. He'd been with the
- 36:04Speaker 1: power company since the beginning of the show back in
- 36:06Speaker 1: twenty fourteen. No cast members were on set yet, so
- 36:10Speaker 1: because they recalled for like seven am, and this was
- 36:12Speaker 1: around four thirty. Police say the driver of the vehicle
- 36:15Speaker 1: though that killed him and his was a fellow crew member.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Some staff cuts going on at Verizon. The communications companies
- 36:23Speaker 1: announced that some ten thousand, four hundred US managers have
- 36:26Speaker 1: accepted buyout packages. And that's on top of the termination
- 36:30Speaker 1: agreements accepted by more than forty four thousand Verizon workers
- 36:34Speaker 1: earlier this year. This is all a Verizon officials say
- 36:36Speaker 1: the Verizon wants to save enough money to invest in
- 36:39Speaker 1: newer technology. Sad news, legendary voting rights activist rosenel Eaton
- 36:44Speaker 1: has died at age ninety seven. Rosenel Eaton led the
- 36:46Speaker 1: lawsuit that successfully challenged the new voting restrictions passed by
- 36:50Speaker 1: North Carolina's republic Control legislature in twenty thirteen and finally
- 36:55Speaker 1: looks like a lot of people like Bacon. Ohio State
- 36:58Speaker 1: University's installed a bacon ending machine. They say it's so
- 37:01Speaker 1: popular has to be restocked four or five times a day.
- 37:04Speaker 1: It offers cook bacon strips and bacon Bifolia dollar Wendy
- 37:08Speaker 1: bring it up to us. Now back to Steve Harvey
- 37:10Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. So Gods. Yesterday,
- 37:15Speaker 1: President Barack Obama urged everyone to check out healthcare dot
- 37:19Speaker 1: com that was dot gov before December fifteenth deadline. Okay,
- 37:24Speaker 1: this is in hopes of pushing more people to sign
- 37:26Speaker 1: up for Obamacare. President Obama posted a video of himself
- 37:30Speaker 1: to a social media account to remind people to get coverage.
- 37:35Speaker 1: It was a playful message. It was aimed mostly at
- 37:37Speaker 1: young people, especially young people. Take a listen to this.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Young people have stepped up like never before on campuses,
- 37:46Speaker 1: at the voting booth, and at the doors of power.
- 37:49Speaker 1: And frankly, I think you've proven that you don't need
- 37:52Speaker 1: to see me taking jump shots or sitting between a
- 37:55Speaker 1: couple of forest plants in order to know it's important
- 37:59Speaker 1: to have health insurance in case God forbid, you get
- 38:03Speaker 1: really sick or hurt yourself next year. So this year
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'm giving it to you straight. Sign up for health
- 38:09Speaker 1: insurance at healthcare dot gov before the deadline on December fifteenth,
- 38:15Speaker 1: you can do it right now, and most folks can
- 38:18Speaker 1: bind coverage for fifty dollars to one hundred dollars per month.
- 38:22Speaker 1: That's probably less than your cell phone bill. One more time.
- 38:26Speaker 1: If you need health insurance for twenty nineteen, sign up
- 38:30Speaker 1: for it right now at healthcare dot com. And that's
- 38:33Speaker 1: how it's done. What did Trump say about that? Nothing? Yet,
- 38:43Speaker 1: He's got other issues. I've got a little Russian probe
- 38:49Speaker 1: that he's occupied with right now, say next, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:54Speaker 1: you make it, I will use right now. Tight. Yeah,
- 38:57Speaker 1: But yeah, you said something about this Obama thing right here.
- 39:02Speaker 1: You said that's how to be president without being Yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I like that, so don't forget. Yeah, if you do
- 39:08Speaker 1: want to sign up for Obamacare, go to healthcare dot
- 39:11Speaker 1: gov before December fifteenth. Just got a couple of no wall,
- 39:15Speaker 1: you didn't kill Obamacare. You know, you didn't bring people
- 39:17Speaker 1: together Christian hate. What have you done? Man? Well, all
- 39:22Speaker 1: they gonna say is these are the things that he's
- 39:25Speaker 1: going to tell. He's gonna say that unemployment is lower
- 39:29Speaker 1: than it's been in years, which is true, but it's
- 39:34Speaker 1: all the workings of the Obama administration. But because it's
- 39:39Speaker 1: on his watch, he gets to take credit. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:42Speaker 1: he is going to say that he passed the tax law. Okay,
- 39:47Speaker 1: and he did. But I must tell you all rich
- 39:50Speaker 1: people are happy. If you knew what these tax laws
- 39:53Speaker 1: really said that have nothing to do with you, it
- 39:56Speaker 1: didn't trickle down, you would be mad. M he put
- 40:00Speaker 1: into a Republican Supreme Court justice. Yeah, yeah, he's gonna
- 40:05Speaker 1: he's gonna claim that so far, and he's gonna claim
- 40:09Speaker 1: all of the orders Obama made that he rescinded. Yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 1: all right, coming up next to thirty four after the hour,
- 40:16Speaker 1: we're gonna play a little comedy roulette. Yeah, all right,
- 40:22Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 40:28Speaker 1: it is time for comedy roulette. Please, Jay set this
- 40:31Speaker 1: one up for us. Tell us And it's so important
- 40:33Speaker 1: to explain this because we get new listeners every day
- 40:38Speaker 1: and we're doing a different segment that people are not
- 40:41Speaker 1: aware of. So that's why I take the time to
- 40:45Speaker 1: explain comedy. And it's very simple. You take flus subjects
- 40:52Speaker 1: and you put them on a wheel, and you take
- 40:56Speaker 1: them on the wheel, you spun the wheel and where
- 41:00Speaker 1: it stop, we can do the damn thing. Because we's
- 41:05Speaker 1: comedians be good. All right, here we go. These are
- 41:13Speaker 1: the subjects for today. Things you can do to get
- 41:16Speaker 1: people to leave your house. Things you say to people
- 41:20Speaker 1: who've overdecorated for the holiday. Yeah, things you say to
- 41:27Speaker 1: people who have underdecorated for the holidays. And here's the
- 41:33Speaker 1: last one. Things you say when you didn't get what
- 41:36Speaker 1: you wanted for Christmas? Okay, yeah, yeah, you gotta in participate. Yeah,

- 54:45Speaker 1: Let's buckle up and hold on tight. We got it
- 54:47Speaker 1: for you. Here it is Strawberry letters, subject, I wish
- 54:52Speaker 1: my boyfriend was bigger. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am in
- 54:57Speaker 1: my mid thirties and I'm five one and I one
- 55:00Speaker 1: hundred and twenty eight pounds. I am dating a personal
- 55:03Speaker 1: trainer and he weighs one hundred and seventy pounds. He
- 55:07Speaker 1: used to weigh three hundred and fifty pounds, and he
- 55:10Speaker 1: worked hard to lose the weight and keep it off.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He is looking so good these days, but we have
- 55:16Speaker 1: a big problem. Our eating habits are totally different now.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm a country girl, so my meals are pretty hefty
- 55:25Speaker 1: and full of flavor. They aren't bad nutritionally, but they
- 55:30Speaker 1: definitely are not the healthiest option. My boyfriend eats cheese, crackers,
- 55:35Speaker 1: mixed nuts, salads, and smoothies while he's at the gym working,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and I have a full dinner for him when he
- 55:41Speaker 1: gets home. I love to cook, so the other day
- 55:44Speaker 1: I baked chicken, made mac and cheese, yam, sauteed spinach,
- 55:49Speaker 1: and dinner rolls. My boyfriend walked in and got mad
- 55:52Speaker 1: as soon as he saw what I cooked. This is
- 55:55Speaker 1: how I've always cooked, and it's used what he's used
- 55:59Speaker 1: to eating, what he used to enjoy eating. We've been
- 56:02Speaker 1: arguing over food a lot recently, and most nights we
- 56:05Speaker 1: eat in silence because he's mad at me. Mind you,
- 56:08Speaker 1: he does eat everything I cook, including the bread. I
- 56:12Speaker 1: do add healthy options, such as baking the chicken instead
- 56:16Speaker 1: of frying it, and I include leafy green vegetables more.
- 56:19Speaker 1: I know he's scared of gaining his weight back, but
- 56:22Speaker 1: he needs to work on his willpower. I try to
- 56:24Speaker 1: eat the way he eats, and I literally passed out
- 56:27Speaker 1: at the gym. I got lighthearted and blacked out. Lightheaded,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I mean lightheaded and blacked out. Stephen Shirley, how can
- 56:36Speaker 1: we resolve our food issues? I want my man to
- 56:38Speaker 1: be happy and healthy, but I was happier when he
- 56:41Speaker 1: was fat. Well, he's not happy when he's fat. He's
- 56:45Speaker 1: not happier. And this is the problem. Your man has
- 56:49Speaker 1: a food issue and you're not helping with all that
- 56:51Speaker 1: good food and good smelling food around the house that
- 56:54Speaker 1: you cook. So let me ask you. I want to
- 56:59Speaker 1: say that I'm scared to answer this letter. I just
- 57:04Speaker 1: want to put that out there out there I'm just
- 57:06Speaker 1: gonna say, in the sake of comedy, I'm doing my
- 57:09Speaker 1: answer in the vein of comedy. Okay, feel what you
- 57:13Speaker 1: want to feel and get to tweets. Okay, yeah, I mean,
- 57:18Speaker 1: so you know you're not helping him with all the
- 57:20Speaker 1: good food. It's smelling good, it's tasting good. So let
- 57:23Speaker 1: me ask you this. If he were a covering drug addict,
- 57:26Speaker 1: would you have crack and weed lying around the house.
- 57:29Speaker 1: If he were an alcoholic, would you have liquor and
- 57:32Speaker 1: beer and wine all piled up in the fridge. If
- 57:34Speaker 1: he was hooked on opioids, okay, would you have percocet
- 57:38Speaker 1: and oxycodon in the medicine cabinet? All right, you got
- 57:41Speaker 1: to think about this stuff. So don't just say he
- 57:44Speaker 1: needs to work on his willpower when you put it
- 57:46Speaker 1: right in front of his face and under his nose.
- 57:49Speaker 1: You know, you gotta help a brother out here. He's
- 57:51Speaker 1: not trying to go back to three hundred and fifty pounds.
- 57:55Speaker 1: He's got his weight down to a nice one hundred
- 57:57Speaker 1: and seventy. You said he looks so good, So maybe
- 58:01Speaker 1: you can cook, you know, a heavy meal like you
- 58:03Speaker 1: cook on the weekends. You know, give him a cheat day,
- 58:07Speaker 1: keep it light and healthy during the week, Okay, and
- 58:09Speaker 1: then maybe you what, guys, won't be mad at the
- 58:11Speaker 1: dinner table. Maybe you'll you know, have some conversation instead
- 58:15Speaker 1: of you know, eating in silence. That's all he needs,
- 58:17Speaker 1: some encouragement, some support. Steve, that ain't what this let about.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna just gonna get to it. First of all,
- 58:26Speaker 1: the letter opens with a lie. These measurements is wrong.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I'm in my mid thirties, I'm five one. Yeah, who
- 58:38Speaker 1: you know? Five one monica? She just added the one.
- 58:45Speaker 1: She either five flat or hard for eleven and I
- 58:52Speaker 1: weigh a hundred and twenty eight pounds. That's another lie.
- 58:57Speaker 1: No woman gives her exactly quait. No woman. So so
- 59:06Speaker 1: you're saying she weighs more than yeah, she's about five
- 59:10Speaker 1: one one. She over there looking like a little flow
- 59:14Speaker 1: model TV. I'm just gonna tell you, and ain't nothing
- 59:20Speaker 1: wrong with it. I'm just giving you some facts. Now,
- 59:25Speaker 1: big boy weigh one hundred and seventy pounds, but he
- 59:27Speaker 1: used to weigh three fifty. Yeah, he worked hard, loser weight.
- 59:31Speaker 1: That here's a problem. They eating habits is totally different.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Here we go, I'm a country girl. So my meals
- 59:38Speaker 1: are pretty hefty and full of flavor. They aren't bad nutritionally.
- 59:44Speaker 1: What you just said, your meals is pretty hefty and
- 59:51Speaker 1: full of flavor. They aren't bad nutritionally. That's they all
- 59:59Speaker 1: got a et full of fat food. And you want
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: to talk about you ain't bad nutritionly, Yes it is.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You know what you cookie? Yeah, it's a big country girl.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: And you said it's little. This woman ain't little shit.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: You hear what she over the eating, She baking the chicken,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: She got mac and cheese, and she got dinner rolls.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: And once you eat mac and cheese and dinner rolls,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what else you got on
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: your plate. It wins. That's a meal in it. They
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: aren't bad nutritiony, but they definitely are not the healthiest option.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: My boyfriend eas cheese, crackers, mixed nuts, salads, and smooth
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: it's while he at the gym working, and I got
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a full dinner for him when he get home. I
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: love a cook, So the other day I baked chicken,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: made mac and cheese, yams, you know what I mean,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: sugar on him, yam, making salt spinish and dinner roll
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: My boyfriend walked in and got mad as soon as
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: he saw with our cook. This is how I've always cooked.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: It's what he used to enjoy eating when we were
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: Now we've been arguing him over food a lot recently,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and most nights weed in silence because he's mad at me.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Mind you, he does eat everything out cook, including the bread.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I do add healthy options, such as baking the chicken
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: instead of frying it, and I include leafy green vegetables more.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: Now he's scared of gaining his I know he's scared

- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I gotten people are taking me serious because of my
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: voice for real, I'm wrong. I'm forty. I'm telling I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: tell I said, hey, man, don't test me, and people
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: tickle me. This I'm tired to talk about Elmo. I'm

- 1:12:54Speaker 1: that we all we little, we got a little voice,

- 1:14:03Speaker 1: and going to this movie was truly, truly just one
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: of the great things. I want to announce his son's
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: candidacy and the fact that they would be beating him profusely.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: This speech right here is as meaningless as the award
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: I just got. And therefore I just wanted to thank

- 1:14:39Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown, with a wonderful giver of awards. I
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: knew this award was coming one day because you're so
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: damn angry in a bit of this is just a
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: part of who you are. We are here thinking the
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Lord all we are. Furthermore, he's let him use where
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: is this going? You? And knowing that all that we
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: are today, he could be no mo if it were yesterday.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Oh hey, you ever had somebody be talking and they
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: think they're heavy? Yes, but they all saying nothing. Shut up?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: Did you not hear Tommy speak? A friendless place in
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: my entire life? Boy, I'm telling you you gotta have Yeah,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: you gotta have triple. We'll join us next year for
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: another award presentation of the Steve the Stevie Awards. Yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: I love that Stevie. Yeah, huh, greatness, right there? You
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: thought of this, Jay, No junior. Junior thought the man
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: with the baby voice. Yeah, all right, coming up next, guys,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: if you're planning and travel by airplane during the holidays,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: you will want to hear this. Don't go anywhere. It's
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening to show. All right, So, Steve,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: you're traveling by airplane during the holidays, I'm going away. Well,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: I guess we all are right up in the air. Yeah, yeah, well, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: because I'm flying commercial. Okay, Well, if you're flying commercial,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: listen to this. Here's a very serious tip. Do not
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: drink the coffee, the tea, or the water on the
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: airplane unless it's out of a bottle. Okay, this is
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: a courting Yeah. This is according to a recent study
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: by the New York Food Policy Center. They found Yeah,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: they found that the water tanks on planes aren't cleaned
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: often enough, and they are topped off with the hair
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: drink water after plane. I don't well, a lot of
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: people do, Steve where they pour it out of the bottle.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: But yeah, they poured out of the bottle. But it's
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: not a fresh you know, bottle. I mean, you don't
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: know if it's a fresh bottle, fresh bottle of water.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: That's not a fresh bottle of water. Well, I got
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: my top on the seal when I get Yeah, if
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: they give you bottles of water with the seal on there,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: but if they're just pouring them out of the bottle,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: you don't know that. Yeah. Well, anyway, this recent study,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: as I was saying, by the New York Food Policy Center,
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: found that the water tanks on the planes aren't cleaned
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: often and they are topped off with new water after
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: every flight. So the water at the bottom of the
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: tank isn't very clean and it has been sitting there
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: for a while. Oh and a study from the EPA
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: found that twelve percent of commercial planes tested positive for
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: fecal bacteria in the water supply. Uh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: that's the same. Yeah, yes it is. That's the same
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: water you wash your hands within the laboratory, and the
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: same water they used to make coffee and tea on
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the plane. That's that's planes. That attitude of that fight
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: attended to. Yeah, that's that's thank you. Well that fix
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: it up. You can't do nothing now, can't drink coffee,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: can't drink you can't fly. Man. I was on the
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: plane one time. They had a baby on the plane.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: This lady said her child was allergic to peanuts. Now
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: this after we own and they passing out, you know food.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: The lady said, nobody in first class can have hot
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: nuts because if he smelled the peanuts. I said, why
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: is his ass on the plane? Because I gets on
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: the front of him hot nuts. Yea, And now you
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: got your little sick ass back there. He can't staying
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the smell and nuts. Well, you don't need to fly
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: when you gotta train, y'all cut the tooth. Why don't
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: y'all drive? I don't like that, man. Man, we had
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: the one time, and this is a true story, kid,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: you not we pulled out, we're going to the runway.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: We had turned the plane around and take off all
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the peanuts on the plane. Wow. But the lady just
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: said it on the way out when we use taxing.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: But I was so mad. Man. Yeah, that's the second
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: madness I've ever been on the plane. Mm hmm, ain't
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: knowing you can do back? Wow, Steve, Well, just a reminder,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you know, when a lot of people will be fly.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: That was the second madness I've ever been on the plane. Second, man,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: But what was the first half? What happened? What happened?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Or you're gonna play stupid Shirley. Oh that's what you're
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: gonna do, ste if you do. I had anxiety issue,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: you know, when we were taxing and the ladies said
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: we have to go back and take all the peanuts
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: off to play. I was so mad. That was the
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: second that the first madness I've ever been. Hey, before
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: you tell the story, I love you. I just want
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: to say that the plane were back all the way out,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: we take off, we going towards the runway. All of
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: a sudden, we put the brakes, were back up. We
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: back up at the gate. Don't nobody say nothing. Then
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the flight attendant said, I'm sorry, but we have to
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: remove someone from the plane. I'm sitting there, Shirley coo
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: walker pad So sure, situation for white folk, see you
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: up on this place. They didn't ball Shirley back because
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: she didn't have the anxiety attack. She can't fly. This
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: is true. This is the truth. Yeah, that actually happened.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: That brought her back, and I just can't do this.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: So now three hundred damn people can't go where we
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: going because she didn't got that crazy ass on the
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: plane to decide if she can't do it about the ticket.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: This we were going to New York. Remember to be
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: on the montell Williams talk. Hey got he got in
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: the damn plane, fastened her seat belt. It's taxi. She
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: snapped her seat belt and called best precedent. But then
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: they all, I has to back plane. What baby, it's
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: on the damn I was hyper ventilating. The lady ran
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: back down. Here comes Sirley with all her bag and
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I lookt too walking past me. I said, Sherley, sit
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: down for the white folks seat. I got to get
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: off this. Everybody said, this bug you I know. I couldn't. Nah,
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: you know it is after nine elevens. So now we
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: got to wait on her to get her bag off
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the damn play. So they got to go in the
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: underbelly to get her because they can't let her kill us.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: And she ain't on a prank. But I was so
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: dead and they got to look forward, yeah, and everything
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: was fine. I ended up coming the next day. Oh,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been waiting more. The next day, Well,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you couldn't go to day before. I couldn't. I had
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: to make myself. I had to talk myself into it.
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: I had to make myself. You know, you have to.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: You have to face your fears drunk and I had
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: a panic attack. I was hyperventilating. Well, you know it
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: bothers me sometimes, butly don't get drunk. But I'm much
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: better at it now. I don't know what's happening to it.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: But you can't be rounding not with one. She don't
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: get drunk, but she drank one glance away. Oh man,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: she ain't drunk with something wrong. I believe your bodies
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: telling me before whatever, Steve, you've never seen that. I
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: said to time to foot and treatments every time. See
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: a lot of people have panic attacks on the plane. Okay,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: we'll get off the plane here. You have to face
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: your fears out of Africa as a as a show.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: You really can't go with it. Oh you need to
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: be on another flag. Yeah, or you know. That's why
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I was asking you yesterday how do you handle the
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: long flights? And you said yesterday you remember that that's
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: your favorite thing to do. That's your that's your favorite
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: thing to do. Timmy, what would you do if you
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: on the plane and then started lightning, Pull that shade down,
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: get up on that seat. A shade all right, coming
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes, Thanks a lot. I left the
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: shade down and just be flicking my light on it all.
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Sea vrby morning show right
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, all right, Jay, this story is
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: kind of for you right here. Our good friend Kevin
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Hart has been in the news lately. We know why
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: for stepping down from the oscars, But this time I
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: think he really dodged a bullet here. One of the
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: venues on his comedy tour is being sued by a
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: diabetic woman who claims she got kicked out of Kevin
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: Hart's comedy show because she used her cell phone to
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: check her blood sugar before the show began. The incident
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: happened last July in San Diego when the lady used
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: cell phone app that I'm sure you're aware of this
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: jay that monitors her blood sugar levels. The venue had
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: signs posted no, but it's a device that goes on
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: your arm and then you see it on your phone.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: She's not telling the truths you have the other part.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I've never seen anything where you just touched the phone
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and it checks your blood. They may have it, I
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: haven't seen it. Ye what I've seen is it? You
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: put it on your arm. You can see the must
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: have had that. Well, I'll see it is how you
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: are diabetic. I think we have to lean go with
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: what you say, Ye go with me this time. Well
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: this lady was one two. Well, but she didn't she's
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: not here. Okay, let's see you got hold up. You
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: gonna go. You're gonna go with a diabetic that's not here.
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: That's why a comedian diabetic all day. But I know
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: how sick you can get. And all you do is
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: poor orange juice and keep it moving, that's all. I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: don't even do that for Jake. What do you do
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: for Jake? I walk off and leave anyway. The venue
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: had signs posted prohibiting the use of cell phones, but
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: she said it was a medical necessity. She was still ejected.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: They still removed her from the venue. She never got
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: a refund, so she's suing Live Nation, which operates the venue. Again.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: Kevin Kevin Hart is not named in this lawsuit. Okay,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: but it happened, you know, But just get up leaving.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: They'll let you back in. I mean she making him
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: big dealing, you making an all check that photographs. Yeah,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: well you're you. You can be quiet non diabetic. He
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: know a lot about blood raising because he's short. What
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: did you say? He know a lot about how blood
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: because he showed Trump didn't get high blood real quick,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: like if he stepped down off a curve. Now blood
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: bod because he showed us the loan drop for him.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: It's a curve to you, but it's a loan drop
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: for him. Thinking of that, Steve, I'm really mad at
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: you for telling story. We've gone No, no, no, we've
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: gone all year, not one time. If we had a
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: little Tommy story, not one what we practically beg you
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: for them. It's him that doesn't want them. Oh, Shirley,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: things have changed now we're in a different place. Okay, man,
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: No they haven't, and no we're not. Things have changed.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: Shirley was gonna have the same question, thank you? Why
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: are you tallert? What? What? Y t? He's taller and
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: statue taller than what? Jay in life's taller than what? Who?
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: Who ain't he over here? So what he's taller than what?
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: He's accomplished more things than last year? Oh? Because of
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: his TV show? You're set most definitely definitely sure, So
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: we can't do that kind of stuff. Stand all right,

- 1:31:32Speaker 1: coming up our last break of the day and some
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: closing remarks from our fearless leader, the one and only
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Right after this. You're listening all right? Here
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: we are, Steve. Last break of the day. It's been
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: a good day. A lot of stuff going on in
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: the world Jesus, but we need a break from all
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: of this. Yeah, that's why we love having you, Steve,
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: so you can give us some closing remarks the world today.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Oftentimes my best closing remarks are remarks that are reflective
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: of something that I'm going through, have been through, or experienced.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: And so today is going to be in that vein.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: I want to talk to you all today about faith. Faith.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: The purest definition of faith to me, this is to me, now,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I don't know how other people view faith. I'm just
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: talking about the purest definition of faith to me is
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: simply this, faith is the belief in things that you
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: cannot see. That's what faith really means to me. Faith
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: is to belief in things that you cannot see. That
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: categorizes faith for me, That exemplifies faith for me, That
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: expresses faith for me that somehow, over the years, I
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: have managed to understand that faith is in the belief
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: in things that you cannot see. So when situations beset me,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: when circumstances run up into me, when I find myself
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: in something that I have no control over that circumstances,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: just set thyself right in front of my door, and
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: then all of a sudden, I get the phone calls,
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: hey man, you all right, Hey man, hang in now.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Man so sad to hear the news. You know, I
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: had a slew it that this week because of some
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: article that came out about the show friends from Cleveland,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: and I appreciate it all. But I'm gonna tell you
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: something that I'm drawing on. I'm drawing on this thing
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: called faith. I'm drawing on some words that my mother
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: told me when she was young. When I was young,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: my mama was a Sunday school teacher for forty years.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: She always taught me that I don't believe God brought
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: me this far to leave me. There is no way
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: that God got me to this place to leave me.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: See where faith comes in. I firmly believe that when
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: one door closes, God has another one to open up. See.
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: I never stand in the doorway that's closing in my
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: face and keep knocking on that door. Y'all need to
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: open this door back up. I'm not gonna stand there
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: and try to force my way back in the door.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna take care of my business. Of course, faith
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: without works is dead. But I do not get crippled
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: and crumbled. The predictions are the thoughts of somebody else.
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: Somebody come to me and tell me what they're gonna
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: do to me. How many times have you had somebody
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: come to you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: do to you? How many times have you had a
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: boss confront you and tell you what they was gonna
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: do to you? And they say it with the full
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: intent of shaking you up? And sometimes it work, don't it.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: You go home and you shake it. Let me offer
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: you something, stop shaking. Don't worry, don't be dismayed. There's
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: no way God brought you this far to leave. See
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: the people's talking about taking stuff from you, They didn't
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: give it to you in the first place. What they
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: don't know that your steps was ordered by God. What
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: they don't know that God positioned you right where he
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: wanted you to be at a particular time. They had
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: no choice that to put you in the position because
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: God had ordered his soul. So when they come along
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: and they start talking about taking you out of position,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: what you're worried about that fault? You don't think. You
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: don't think that you have an option here. You don't
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: think that the God you served that put you where
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: he wanted you to be placed. You don't think he
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: see all of this. I do. I think he sees me.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: I think he places me right where he wanted me
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: to be placed. I think he has people saying things
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: about me so I can hear it. I think he's
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: allowing people to think that they're making decisions because they
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: want to. I believe that they don't know that God
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: is always working on my behalf behind the scenes always.
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: Why Because I believe and I trusted him, That's why
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: he always working on my behalf. That is No, I'm
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: not an evil person. I'm not an unrighteous person. I'm
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: really a good person. I'm flawed, but I'm a good person.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: I don't set out to hurt nobody. I ain't trying
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: to step on nobody. So when somebody bring me some
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: disparaging news about what they're gonna do to me, in
- 1:37:17Speaker 1: the words of Bishop T. D. Jakes, you got to
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: be careful how you handle me. Be very careful how
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: you handle me. Because I happen to be a child
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: of the Most High. What He's done for me in
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: the past, he can continue to do for me in
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: the future. I have no fear of what you claiming
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: that you will do to me, because God didn't bring
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: me this far to leave me. That I'm certain of.
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: And even though I can't see what he's doing right now,
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: I bet he's doing something. I'm excited about the future
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: of what God got for me. Those are my clothing.
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: You better know it, better drop yourself a good WEEKI
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: rop up face baby drop. Did you drop the micro
