- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to get you an update on where we are.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It has been almost two weeks now of the war
- 0:05Speaker 2: from the United States and Israel on Iran, and according
- 0:09Speaker 2: to officials inside the Trump administration, the battlefield momentum is
- 0:13Speaker 2: clearly moving in America's favor. The military campaign, known as
- 0:17Speaker 2: Operation Epic Fury, it was launched with a clear mission
- 0:21Speaker 2: destroy RAN's ability to threaten the United States, stop its
- 0:25Speaker 2: nuclear ambitions, and dismantle the infrastructure it uses to fund
- 0:29Speaker 2: terrorism across the Middle East. President Trump has said repeatedly
- 0:34Speaker 2: that the operation is designed to neutralize Iranian regime's missile forces,
- 0:40Speaker 2: as well as their naval capabilities and their drone production,
- 0:44Speaker 2: while ensuring the regime can never obtain a nuclear weapon.
- 0:49Speaker 2: We also know Iran has made it clear what their
- 0:51Speaker 2: goal is. If they get a nuclear weapon, they want
- 0:53Speaker 2: to use it on Israel and on America now. In short,
- 0:57Speaker 2: the White House this week says this war is about
- 0:59Speaker 2: removing the biggest state sponsor of terrorism from the global stage.
- 1:04Speaker 2: According to US officials, the military campaign has already delivered
- 1:08Speaker 2: significant blows to Iran's military capabilities. One of the most
- 1:12Speaker 2: dramatic operations occurred just days ago, when US forces launched
- 1:18Speaker 2: a massive air strike, and Iran's primary military hub connected
- 1:23Speaker 2: to its oil export network was hit hard. Military officials
- 1:28Speaker 2: say the strike targeted more than ninety Iranian military sites,
- 1:32Speaker 2: including missile storage facilities, naval mine depots, and weapons bunkers.
- 1:39Speaker 2: President Trump described the attack as one of the most
- 1:41Speaker 2: powerful bombing raids in modern Middle Eastern history, saying the
- 1:45Speaker 2: United States obliterated every military target quote unquote on the
- 1:50Speaker 2: island while deliberately avoiding civilian oil infrastructure. The Pentagon Is
- 1:55Speaker 2: also reported that Iran's ability to launch missiles and drones
- 1:59Speaker 2: has dramatically declined during the conflict, with a tax dropping
- 2:03Speaker 2: sharply after early strikes crippled major military facilities. The Defense Secretary,
- 2:10Speaker 2: the man who's in charge of this war, summed up
- 2:12Speaker 2: the administration's view of the conflict this way, we didn't
- 2:17Speaker 2: start this war, but under President Trump, we're finishing it.
- 2:22Speaker 2: That coming from Pete Heagseth. Now the White House says
- 2:25Speaker 2: the war could actually end soon. That was another message
- 2:29Speaker 2: coming from the administration over the weekend, because they made
- 2:32Speaker 2: it clear this was a short conflict and not a
- 2:36Speaker 2: long conflict, that the American people would have to worry about.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Senior Trump economic advisor Kevin Hassett said Pentagon estimate suggests
- 2:45Speaker 2: the war could last between four and six weeks total,
- 2:50Speaker 2: meaning the campaign could be approaching its final phase. President
- 2:54Speaker 2: Trump has echoed that view publicly, saying the United States
- 2:57Speaker 2: is quote way ahead of schedule militarily and that there
- 3:01Speaker 2: is practically nothing left to target in many parts of
- 3:05Speaker 2: Iran's military network.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Trump is also predicted the war could end very soon,
- 3:11Speaker 2: suggesting over the weekend the regime's ability to continue the
- 3:15Speaker 2: fight is rapidly deteriorating.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:18Speaker 2: The Strait of Hormuz is what everyone is now really
- 3:21Speaker 2: talking about, and that is a strategic fight. They could
- 3:25Speaker 2: have major economic impacts around the world because of the
- 3:29Speaker 2: energy prices. Twenty percent of the world's oil goes to
- 3:32Speaker 2: the Straight of Hormus each and every day, and one
- 3:35Speaker 2: of the biggest strategic flashpoints right now is that Straight
- 3:38Speaker 2: of Hormuz, the shipping channel which Iran says that they
- 3:42Speaker 2: are going to shut down with mines for those boats.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Twenty percent of the world's oil supply is significant. Iran
- 3:50Speaker 2: knows it, and they're trying to use it as leverage.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Now.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Ran is also attempted to threaten or block the shipping
- 3:56Speaker 2: in the region altogether. The President Trump is called for
- 3:59Speaker 2: a global naval coalition to keep the waterway open. Trump
- 4:04Speaker 2: recently said multiple countries should send warships to protect the
- 4:08Speaker 2: shipping lanes, arguing that nations dependent on Middle Eastern oil
- 4:12Speaker 2: should send help to defend it right away. The administration
- 4:16Speaker 2: says securing the Strait is critical to preventing Iran from
- 4:19Speaker 2: using energy markets as a weapon against the world economy.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Having just come back from Israel, I want to paint
- 4:26Speaker 2: you a picture. It's midnight, sirens are blearing, and you
- 4:30Speaker 2: have only seconds to grab your child and run.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Now, imagine your elderly. Your legs don't work like they
- 4:37Speaker 3: used to.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Getting downstairs feels impossible, And after all of that, you
- 4:41Speaker 2: end up in a bomb shelter for hours, even days,
- 4:44Speaker 2: because you can't make the trek again. This is what's
- 4:47Speaker 2: happening across Israel as Operation Epic Fury continues. Children are
- 4:52Speaker 2: being traumatized, families are just exhausted, and homes have been destroyed.
- 4:58Speaker 2: And that's why the International fell Ship of Christians and
- 5:01Speaker 2: Jews is there on the ground bringing food, emergency equipment,
- 5:06Speaker 2: care for those children, and help for the elderly, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: supplying the bomb shelters and medical centers for critically needed essentials.
- 5:14Speaker 2: If you've ever wondered what it looks like to stand
- 5:16Speaker 2: for Israel and stand for good against evil, this is it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: And that's why I'm asking to now, please act, give
- 5:23Speaker 2: forty five dollars right now to rush life saving essentials
- 5:27Speaker 2: to the vulnerables under fire. You can also call eight
- 5:31Speaker 2: eight eight for eight eight IFCJ. That's eight eight eight
- 5:36Speaker 2: for eight eight IFCJ. Join me and give and make
- 5:40Speaker 2: a real difference online at IFCJ dot org.
- 5:45Speaker 3: That's IFCJ dot org.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Let's talk about the administration's position moving forward. There is
- 5:53Speaker 2: one aspect of this entire debate and the insanity from
- 5:57Speaker 2: Adam Schiff that you just heard that does affect Americans,
- 6:02Speaker 2: and that is energy prices, the energy markets, and the
- 6:05Speaker 2: economic outlook are real. Many Americans are concerned about where
- 6:09Speaker 2: gas prices are going, and the conflict has caused oil
- 6:13Speaker 2: prices to spike temporarily. As the White House has described it,
- 6:17Speaker 2: the Trump administration says the impact on you will be limited.
- 6:22Speaker 2: The Energy Secretary Chris Wright recently told reporters that gas
- 6:26Speaker 2: prices could drop below three dollars per gallon by summer
- 6:29Speaker 2: once the conflict ends, part of the reason why they're
- 6:32Speaker 2: doing so much to protect the Strait of Hormuz as well.
- 6:36Speaker 2: The administration is also releasing hundreds of millions of barrels
- 6:41Speaker 2: from the US and international strategic reserves to stabilize markets
- 6:45Speaker 2: and offset disruptions caused by this war. The Trump administration
- 6:50Speaker 2: sets these actions are designed to ensure that Iran cannot
- 6:54Speaker 2: destabilize the global economy during the conflict, which is in
- 6:59Speaker 2: essence their only upper hand here. You look at what
- 7:03Speaker 2: Iran has done, and you look at a democratic party,
- 7:08Speaker 2: and what the Democratic Party has done has been truly incredible.
- 7:12Speaker 2: No matter what Donald Trump has said, they are against it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: No matter what Donald Trump is advocated for, there against it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Adam Schiff is an individual who said that there was
- 7:23Speaker 2: an Iran nuclear deal, and that Iran nuclear deal was
- 7:27Speaker 2: such a good deal, such a good deal that they
- 7:31Speaker 2: couldn't believe that Donald Trump tore it up. Now, what
- 7:34Speaker 2: was the Iran nuclear deal? They were not supposed to
- 7:37Speaker 2: work towards a nuclear weapon. We know that Iran broke
- 7:41Speaker 2: multiple points in that deal. We also bribed them to
- 7:45Speaker 2: stay on track with billions and billions of dollars that
- 7:48Speaker 2: came in pallets of cash United States America. That was
- 7:51Speaker 2: also a disaster. I want to go back and I
- 7:54Speaker 2: want to play for you what Adam Shift, what he said.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I want you to again pay attention to the very
- 8:00Speaker 2: beginning of this interview and what Adam Schiff said. I'll
- 8:02Speaker 2: meet the press, and then I want to again at
- 8:05Speaker 2: the end, I'm gonna explain to you where the Administration's
- 8:07Speaker 2: going next.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Simply unsustainable.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Well, let me ask you. David Boyce, who's of course
- 8:12Speaker 5: a Democratic attorney who argued Bush v. Gore before the
- 8:16Speaker 5: Supreme Court, argues that President Trump ultimately had no choice
- 8:21Speaker 5: but to act on Iran, and he writes this quote.
- 8:24Speaker 5: If he hadn't acted, his successor would have been left
- 8:27Speaker 5: with an even more dangerous choice than his predecessors left him.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Three or four years from now, the Iranian missiles now
- 8:34Speaker 5: hitting Iran's neighbors could be hitting Berlin or London, perhaps
- 8:38Speaker 5: even New York or Washington, perhaps with a nuclear device
- 8:42Speaker 5: or at least a dirty bomb. Do you agree with
- 8:47Speaker 5: Boyce's assessment that the threat from Iran needed to be
- 8:51Speaker 5: dealt with now.
- 8:53Speaker 6: I certainly co occur that Iran is a terrible actor,
- 8:56Speaker 6: that it engages in state sponsored terrorism. But let's remember
- 9:00Speaker 6: we had a nuclear agreement with Iran that puts serious
- 9:03Speaker 6: constraints on the Irani nuclear program, and Donald Trump tore
- 9:06Speaker 6: up that agreement. And when you do that, when you
- 9:09Speaker 6: essentially say that diplomacy is not the way to resolve this,
- 9:13Speaker 6: then that leaves war. And that's what we are countering now.
- 9:18Speaker 6: But the President promised to see wouldn't engage in this,
- 9:21Speaker 6: and there was nothing imminent about the threat from Iran.
- 9:24Speaker 6: The nuclear program supposedly was obliterated just.
- 9:28Speaker 4: About nine months ago.
- 9:30Speaker 6: The missile program is incapable of reaching the United States
- 9:33Speaker 6: for years and years.
- 9:34Speaker 4: According to the.
- 9:35Speaker 6: Defense Intelligence agencies own estimate, it be nine years before
- 9:38Speaker 6: that is true. And unless the United States is prepared
- 9:43Speaker 6: to continue to bomb Iran year after year after year,
- 9:47Speaker 6: how do we respond when Iran starts to rebuild their
- 9:50Speaker 6: missile program as they will. Are we going to be
- 9:53Speaker 6: in an endless state of war with Iran? And the
- 9:56Speaker 6: administrations has no answers for this, and I don't think
- 9:59Speaker 6: that leaves them. Could people better off or safer.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Let's be clear over what Adam Schiff just said. Adam
- 10:07Speaker 2: Schiff just said that we should just a let Iran
- 10:11Speaker 2: get their nuclear program in their missiles because we don't
- 10:14Speaker 2: want to be at a endless war with them in
- 10:16Speaker 2: constantly war and bombing them all the time. So he
- 10:19Speaker 2: is clearly saying the Democrats position is to go back
- 10:23Speaker 2: to what it was before. You give billions of dollars
- 10:27Speaker 2: to Iran, and then when you give billions of dollars
- 10:30Speaker 2: to Iran, then you hope that they don't nuke you
- 10:34Speaker 2: or get the nuclear weapon, and you just cross your
- 10:38Speaker 2: fingers because you can't bomb them when they're getting close
- 10:41Speaker 2: every time. That is the Democratic Party's position. Now, the
- 10:46Speaker 2: bigger strategic argument, as I mentioned a moment ago, is
- 10:49Speaker 2: this the White House is framing this is a clear doctrine,
- 10:55Speaker 2: and the doctrine is described as peace through strength. Trump
- 11:00Speaker 2: is arguing that the Iranian regime has spent decades attacking Americans.
- 11:05Speaker 2: They are the number one state sponsor of terrorism in
- 11:08Speaker 2: the world and the number one threat to Israel and
- 11:13Speaker 2: helping the terrorist organizations from Austin HESBLA attack Israel. Now,
- 11:18Speaker 2: in his most recent address, Trump said the objective of
- 11:21Speaker 2: the campaign is simple. Number one, destroy Iran's missile and
- 11:25Speaker 2: drone programs. Number two, eliminated its naval capabilities in the
- 11:29Speaker 2: Persian Gulf. Number three prevent ran from obtaining nuclear weapons.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Number four stop Tehran from funding terrorist networks across the region.
- 11:39Speaker 2: The White House has not flinched on those being the
- 11:44Speaker 2: goals and objectives even before this war started. Trump has
- 11:48Speaker 2: also said the war is about protecting American lives, American soldiers' lives,
- 11:53Speaker 2: and restoring the as he described it, with the deterrents
- 11:57Speaker 2: to make sure it doesn't happen again.
- 11:59Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:59Speaker 1: As of the war is entering.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Its third week, US officials believe Iran's military capabilities have
- 12:05Speaker 2: been severely degraded. We should all celebrate that American and
- 12:09Speaker 2: Allied forces are continuing to target strikes where they find,
- 12:14Speaker 2: as President Trump likes to say, the bad guys. And
- 12:18Speaker 2: there's also multi national naval efforts to forming right now
- 12:24Speaker 2: to secure the Strait of horror moves.
- 12:26Speaker 1: That is good news.
- 12:27Speaker 2: The White House believes the conflict will end within weeks,
- 12:31Speaker 2: not months from today, and at the same time, Iran
- 12:35Speaker 2: is doing everything he can to launch missiles and drone attacks.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Across the region. They're doing everything they can to try
- 12:41Speaker 2: to stay alive. Now, inside the Trump administration, the message
- 12:46Speaker 2: is clear. Number one, we should be celebrating because America
- 12:50Speaker 2: is winning and the Trump administration believes the Iranian regime
- 12:54Speaker 2: is running out of options. That is also good for us.
- 12:58Speaker 2: So look at the Democrat Party right now and just
- 13:01Speaker 2: listen to their message. When they talk about Iran, they
- 13:04Speaker 2: admit Adam Shift said it Iran engaged in terrorism, but
- 13:09Speaker 2: we had a nuclear agreement and Trump tore it up.
- 13:11Speaker 3: That's a lie.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Adam Shift said, Iran is a country that well, we
- 13:15Speaker 2: just can't keep bombing forever. That's not the mission here
- 13:18Speaker 2: at all from Donald Trump. So you got to ask
- 13:21Speaker 2: yourself the question whose side are they really on? Whose
- 13:27Speaker 2: side are they really on? Is it America or is
- 13:31Speaker 2: it the Ayatola. I'll let you decide. America is entering
- 13:36Speaker 2: the two hundred and fiftieth year and the direction of
- 13:38Speaker 2: this country is being decided right now in our culture
- 13:41Speaker 2: and our economy, and who we choose is support matters
- 13:45Speaker 2: more than ever. Most wireless companies don't care who you
- 13:50Speaker 2: are or what you believe. They just want your money.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Patreon Mobile they're different. For more than twelve years, they've
- 13:56Speaker 2: stood with Americans who believe freedom is worth defending, funding
- 14:01Speaker 2: the Christian Conservative movement when others stay silent.
- 14:04Speaker 3: That's what they do. So here's the deal.
- 14:07Speaker 2: You don't have to give up quality or service when
- 14:09Speaker 2: you switch to Patriot Mobile. They deliver premium priority access
- 14:14Speaker 2: on all three major US networks, so you'll get the

- 15:02Speaker 2: CBS uh talk to the Iranian Foreign Minister and I
- 15:08Speaker 2: want you to hear what CBS had to say on
- 15:10Speaker 2: face the nation to Iran's foreign minister.
- 15:14Speaker 5: Listen, I just do want to point out you're speaking
- 15:17Speaker 5: to us via zoom. The Iranian people don't have open
- 15:20Speaker 5: Internet access but you do.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Why.
- 15:25Speaker 7: Well, I'm the because I'm the voice of Iranians and
- 15:28Speaker 7: I have to defend a day, right, So this is
- 15:32Speaker 7: why I have access to to internet to to just
- 15:38Speaker 7: uh you know, have have our voice being held by
- 15:42Speaker 7: the international community.
- 15:45Speaker 8: But the Internet is closed because of the security.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Is because we are under the under attack.
- 15:50Speaker 8: We are under.
- 15:51Speaker 7: Aggression, and we have to do everything to protect our people.
- 15:54Speaker 7: In any country, there are you know, edgent measures taken
- 15:59Speaker 7: for the fort the sacred law.
- 16:02Speaker 2: This is who Adam Shift is defending a regime that
- 16:06Speaker 2: shuts down the Internet from their people. This is the
- 16:09Speaker 2: same Adam Shift that admits that it is engaged in
- 16:12Speaker 2: states monitor terrorism but says, well, we had an Ranian
- 16:14Speaker 2: deal nuclear dewim was fine.
- 16:16Speaker 1: It was fine.
- 16:18Speaker 2: This is the same guy Adam Schiff on Iran that
- 16:20Speaker 2: says we still don't know what the real cost of
- 16:22Speaker 2: this will be, implying that somehow America is the bad guys.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Listen to this from Meet the Press.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Welcome back and joining me now is Democratic Senator Adam
- 16:34Speaker 5: Schiff of California. Senator Shift, welcome back to meet the press.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Good to be with you.
- 16:39Speaker 3: It's good to have you back.
- 16:41Speaker 5: Let me ask you about the big picture argument that
- 16:44Speaker 5: we are hearing from the Trump administration with top officials.
- 16:47Speaker 5: You just heard Secretary of Chris Wright argue that the
- 16:51Speaker 5: threat from Iran is so significant not just to the world,
- 16:56Speaker 5: but that to the United States that invading now will
- 17:00Speaker 5: ultimately make the world more secure.
- 17:04Speaker 6: No, I don't think they do, and I don't think
- 17:05Speaker 6: the President has really leveled with the American people, first
- 17:08Speaker 6: by promising the American people he wouldn't bring us into
- 17:11Speaker 6: another foreign war, then being unwilling to tell us what
- 17:15Speaker 6: the real cost of this.
- 17:16Speaker 4: War are going to be.
- 17:17Speaker 6: And we still don't hear from the Secretary, don't hear
- 17:19Speaker 6: from the President what the real costs of this will be,
- 17:22Speaker 6: how long it will go on. Already we've spent billions
- 17:25Speaker 6: and billions of dollars, and more significant, we've lost thirteen
- 17:29Speaker 6: service members.
- 17:29Speaker 4: As a result of the war, and we still.
- 17:32Speaker 6: Haven't heard a clear articulation of why we're at war,
- 17:35Speaker 6: what was the imminent threat we were facing. They've said
- 17:38Speaker 6: it was a nuclear threat, but the intelligence doesn't back
- 17:41Speaker 6: that up. They said it was a threat of being
- 17:43Speaker 6: hit in the United States by ballistic missiles that is
- 17:46Speaker 6: years and years away. They want regime change, but then
- 17:50Speaker 6: they say they don't want regime change. And when you
- 17:52Speaker 6: ask how long this war's going to go on, the
- 17:55Speaker 6: Secretary can't tell you.
- 17:56Speaker 4: The President won't tell you.
- 17:57Speaker 6: And it's because not having a clear object in mind
- 18:00Speaker 6: when we began this war, it makes it very difficult
- 18:03Speaker 6: to tell when its objectives have been accomplished. This is
- 18:07Speaker 6: why I think the President was so vague with you
- 18:10Speaker 6: when he wouldn't describe to you what kind of a
- 18:12Speaker 6: deal is he looking for with Iran, because it just
- 18:15Speaker 6: isn't clear. And now there's the prospect with the thirty
- 18:19Speaker 6: first Marine Expeditionary Force going to the region, that we
- 18:23Speaker 6: have boots on the ground, and I don't think they've
- 18:25Speaker 6: leveled with us about that either.
- 18:27Speaker 4: So I don't think the war is worth the costs.
- 18:30Speaker 6: And it has already unleashed a lot of things that
- 18:33Speaker 6: should have been foreseen, like the closing of this strait,
- 18:36Speaker 6: like Iran's attack on its neighbors. But it's not clear
- 18:40Speaker 6: that the President had a plan for.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Any of this.
- 18:42Speaker 5: Well, you did hear Secretary Wright say he anticipates the
- 18:45Speaker 5: conflict will be over in the next few weeks.
- 18:48Speaker 2: You notice they are rooting for the success of Iran.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Adam Shift is making it clear he would rather Iran
- 18:59Speaker 2: succeed so that they can then just look at Donald
- 19:05Speaker 2: Trump and say you lost, You're a loser. They would
- 19:10Speaker 2: rather hurt Donald Trump politically than protect the United States
- 19:16Speaker 2: of America from a nuclear Iran. One of the other
- 19:22Speaker 2: big lies that was also told by Adam Shift on
- 19:26Speaker 2: TV was that he said that, and this one really
- 19:32Speaker 2: was a head scratcher, that Dems want to fund the
- 19:36Speaker 2: Department of Homeland Security. They just don't want to fund ICE,
- 19:41Speaker 2: even though ICE has already been funded through the end
- 19:43Speaker 2: of the year. They're not defunding ICE right now. They're
- 19:46Speaker 2: just trying to hold up again America from being secure
- 19:50Speaker 2: with the DHS shut down.
- 19:53Speaker 1: He was asked about it, and listen to this lie.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Center as you have to ask you just finally about
- 19:59Speaker 5: partial government shut down, DHS not being funded for a
- 20:03Speaker 5: month now. Just this week we saw terror attacks in
- 20:07Speaker 5: West Bloomfield, Michigan, in Norfolk Virginia. This morning, the CEOs
- 20:12Speaker 5: of the nation's major airlines and cargo carriers have written
- 20:16Speaker 5: a letter to Congress calling for them to end the shutdown,
- 20:19Speaker 5: talking about the importance of American security in the airways.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Is it responsible for Democrats to hold up DHS funding
- 20:27Speaker 5: with the threat of terror attacks looming during this conflict, No, Kristin.
- 20:34Speaker 6: As you know, we offered vote after vote, resolution now
- 20:36Speaker 6: for resolution, even as recently as this week, to reopen
- 20:41Speaker 6: those agencies, to fund them, and the Republicans voted it down.
- 20:45Speaker 6: We said, let's walk off ICE funding, let's fund these
- 20:49Speaker 6: other agencies that protect the country, and the Republicans one
- 20:52Speaker 6: after another voted them down, voted down funding TSA voted
- 20:56Speaker 6: down funding the Coastguard, voted down funding FEMA. Republicans are
- 21:00Speaker 6: controlling both houses in the presidency, they can't very well
- 21:04Speaker 6: blame the minority party for their own inability to govern,
- 21:08Speaker 6: particularly when they're voting down Democratic motions to reopen these agencies.
- 21:13Speaker 3: They are liars.
- 21:15Speaker 2: The Department of Homeland Security is not funded right now
- 21:18Speaker 2: solely because Democrats voted yet again. Adam Schiff was one
- 21:23Speaker 2: of those on Thursday night to not fund the Department
- 21:28Speaker 2: of Homeland Security.
- 21:30Speaker 1: That is a fact. There is no way that you
- 21:35Speaker 1: can change those facts.
- 21:36Speaker 2: There is a record, a voting record, and that record
- 21:40Speaker 2: is extremely clear. They know they are putting American lives
- 21:46Speaker 2: at risk. They understand, as she described it, that there
- 21:51Speaker 2: are terariors attacks and they're still not funding the Department
- 21:54Speaker 2: of Homeland Security.
- 21:57Speaker 1: That's clear. You look at the Iranian Foreign minister.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Talking even about their terrorism, and you look at them
- 22:08Speaker 2: Adam Shift, like, how on earth could you guys not say, hey,
- 22:11Speaker 2: we clearly need to like, we really got to do
- 22:14Speaker 2: a better job. Guys, we got to make sure America
- 22:16Speaker 2: is safe. We got to have the Department hound Security.
- 22:18Speaker 2: This is too big of a liability. We'll get Jim Kleiburn, Democrat,
- 22:21Speaker 2: blaming Republicans for shutting down DHS as Democrats wanted to
- 22:25Speaker 2: fund ICE. In the same sentence, again another liar on MS.
- 22:29Speaker 9: Now, this is an issue about Ice, not anything to
- 22:34Speaker 9: do for TSA, not anything to do with FEMA, nothing
- 22:39Speaker 9: to do with the Coast Guard. All of these are
- 22:42Speaker 9: wrapped up in this bill that the Republicans are refusing
- 22:47Speaker 9: to put on the floor. We will vote for them,
- 22:52Speaker 9: but we are not going to fund ICE to continue
- 22:57Speaker 9: chilling people, to continue massed in themselves so no one
- 23:02Speaker 9: can identify them.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So let's just be clear. At least Jim Cliburn was
- 23:07Speaker 2: a little more honest here. They believe that ICE agents
- 23:11Speaker 2: are the enemy, and they believe that the people they
- 23:13Speaker 2: are going after the rapists and child predators and sex abusers,
- 23:18Speaker 2: and the list goes on and on. Of these guys
- 23:22Speaker 2: that are drug dealers killing Americans with fetnel, he believes
- 23:25Speaker 2: they're the good guys. He says that the murderers are
- 23:29Speaker 2: not the actual murderers in the streets that ICE are
- 23:31Speaker 2: going to get.
- 23:33Speaker 1: He says, it's ICE.
- 23:35Speaker 2: So he's willing to make sure that you have no
- 23:39Speaker 2: Department of Homeland Security. He will hold you hostage and
- 23:44Speaker 2: the safety of the United States of America until they
- 23:47Speaker 2: defund ICE, even though funding for ICE has already been
- 23:50Speaker 2: extended through the end of the year. Why are they
- 23:54Speaker 2: doing this Because of their radical base, they don't care.
- 23:59Speaker 2: And part of the is the media. The media is
- 24:03Speaker 2: not holding Democrats accountable. If the media was being an
- 24:06Speaker 2: actually honest they would have done all the sunny morning
- 24:08Speaker 2: shows of the breaking news story. There have been four
- 24:10Speaker 2: terrorist attacks in the last couple weeks in the United
- 24:12Speaker 2: States of America and Democrats are shutting down the exact department
- 24:17Speaker 2: that is needed for homeland security. And they would have
- 24:20Speaker 2: led with the story, and they would have owned them
- 24:22Speaker 2: and they would have destroyed them on the facts. But
- 24:24Speaker 2: they didn't because all of these networks are propagandists for
- 24:28Speaker 2: the Democratic machine. They're no different than state sponsored media.
- 24:32Speaker 2: The same media that told you that Joe Biden was
- 24:35Speaker 2: not in a cognitive decline, the same media that told
- 24:38Speaker 2: you it was AI and deep fake videos of him
- 24:42Speaker 2: losing his mind or losing his train of thought, or
- 24:45Speaker 2: walking out into the wilderness. Right, none of that, None
- 24:50Speaker 2: of that is they would describe it would be any
- 24:53Speaker 2: other way.
- 24:54Speaker 1: This is all the Democratic.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Party's saying this. It's incredibly sad. So we have no
- 25:00Speaker 2: Department of Home and Security.
- 25:02Speaker 3: At this point.
- 25:03Speaker 2: I'll say it again, we have no Department of Homeland
- 25:06Speaker 2: Security right now. It is shut down because Democrats are
- 25:10Speaker 2: willing to play politics on this issue. I want to
- 25:14Speaker 2: get into the straight of horror moves for a second
- 25:16Speaker 2: and dive back into that because I do think it's
- 25:19Speaker 2: important for many people to understand this. And again, all
- 25:21Speaker 2: of this that will be covered in the podcast, So
- 25:23Speaker 2: make sure you download the Ben Ferguson podcasts wherever you
- 25:27Speaker 2: get your podcasts.
- 25:28Speaker 1: We do it each and every day.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Also, if you want to know what's happening out of
- 25:30Speaker 2: the White House every day, download the forty seven Morning Update.
- 25:34Speaker 2: It is the top stories coming out of the White
- 25:36Speaker 2: House each and every day, and I keep you update
- 25:39Speaker 2: on what's happening in Washington, d C. All right, Donald
- 25:42Speaker 2: Trump has come out with a new statement saying many
- 25:45Speaker 2: countries will send warships to patrol the Strait of Horror moves. Now,
- 25:50Speaker 2: this is just now breaking, President Trump announcing that many
- 25:54Speaker 2: countries will be dispatching their warships to patrol the Strait
- 25:58Speaker 2: of Horror moves among the ongoing conflict with i Ran,
- 26:00Speaker 2: suggesting that it is quote still easy for its military
- 26:05Speaker 2: to inflict damage on vessels there, no matter how badly
- 26:08Speaker 2: defeated they are riding on true social The President said,
- 26:12Speaker 2: many countries, especially those who are affected by Iran's attempted
- 26:16Speaker 2: closure of the Strait of Hormuz, will be sending warships
- 26:20Speaker 2: in conjunction with the United States of America to keep
- 26:22Speaker 2: the straight open and safe. We have already destroyed one
- 26:26Speaker 2: hundred percent of Iran's military capability. But it's easy for
- 26:29Speaker 2: them to send a drone or two, drop a mine,
- 26:32Speaker 2: or deliver a close range missile somewhere along or in
- 26:36Speaker 2: the waterway, no matter how badly defeated they are. And
- 26:39Speaker 2: this is basically what terrorists do, right. You take one
- 26:42Speaker 2: bomb and you do something like this. It's not that
- 26:45Speaker 2: you're winning a war, but it's a way of being
- 26:47Speaker 2: a terrorist, and that's what the present's worried about. The
- 26:51Speaker 2: present can continue by saying this. Hopefully China, France, Japan,
- 26:58Speaker 2: South Korea, the UK and others that are affected by
- 27:02Speaker 2: this artificial constraint will send ships the area so that
- 27:07Speaker 2: the Straight of Hormuz will no longer be a threat
- 27:10Speaker 2: by a nation that has been totally decapitated. In the meantime,
- 27:15Speaker 2: he added, the United States will be bombing the hell
- 27:17Speaker 2: out of the shoreline and continually shooting iranium.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Boats and ships out of the water.
- 27:22Speaker 2: One way or another, we will soon get the Strait
- 27:25Speaker 2: of Hormus open, safe and free.
- 27:29Speaker 9: Now.
- 27:29Speaker 2: In the statement purportedly to be from the leader in Iran,
- 27:33Speaker 2: the new Supreme Leader ordered on Thursday that the Straight
- 27:37Speaker 2: remain closed as long as the war continues, because this
- 27:40Speaker 2: is the only leverage literally that they have. Like this
- 27:44Speaker 2: is the whole ballgame. I want you to understand this,
- 27:46Speaker 2: Like this is all the levers they've got. They have
- 27:49Speaker 2: nothing else but this, And so part of that is
- 27:53Speaker 2: the reason why you're hearing this now in this way
- 27:56Speaker 2: where they're just they're like, hey, like what can we do?
- 27:59Speaker 3: What do we have?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Right?
- 28:02Speaker 2: What is there that we can really do? Is there
- 28:05Speaker 2: anything that we can do? What is our leverage? It
- 28:09Speaker 2: is shutting down the street. That is what they have.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Now.
- 28:12Speaker 2: The new leader hasn't been seen in public, by the way,
- 28:15Speaker 2: since the joint US Israeli operation began, and reports have
- 28:20Speaker 2: also serviced that he may have been either seriously injured
- 28:22Speaker 2: or even disfigured and in a coma and actually may
- 28:27Speaker 2: not be in charge of the country at all. There's
- 28:30Speaker 2: even reports that the new leader is dead and they're
- 28:34Speaker 2: acting like you still alive so that they don't have
- 28:36Speaker 2: to name another leader who will then be taken out
- 28:39Speaker 2: by America or Israel.
- 28:41Speaker 9: Now.
- 28:42Speaker 2: The Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen propose on Thursday that an
- 28:47Speaker 2: international coalition could escort oil tankers through the Strait something
- 28:54Speaker 2: he said, would have a big effect. The President's announcement
- 28:57Speaker 2: comes in the wake of surging asoline prices. Many Americans
- 29:03Speaker 2: are concerned about this, as well as the impact on
- 29:07Speaker 2: prices of other patroleum based goods. That would include things,
- 29:11Speaker 2: for example, like fertilizer that's important in the eg industry,
- 29:15Speaker 2: et cetera. All these things affect what you pay at
- 29:19Speaker 2: the pump and really in the grocery stores in life
- 29:21Speaker 2: in general. About twenty percent of the world's old surpri
- 29:25Speaker 2: around twenty million barrels per day normally travel in tankers
- 29:29Speaker 2: through the Narrow Corridor between Iran in the north and
- 29:33Speaker 2: Oma and Oman and the United Air of Emirates in
- 29:36Speaker 2: the south. Those transits have all but stopped as a
- 29:40Speaker 2: result of a number of ships being attacked in the
- 29:42Speaker 2: region since Operation Epic Flurry began on February the twenty eight. Now,
- 29:47Speaker 2: if you can get a deal done, and this is
- 29:49Speaker 2: part of what I think people really need to understand. Okay,
- 29:53Speaker 2: Iran desperately needs to get their oil out because they
- 29:56Speaker 2: desperately need the money. That's part of what you need
- 29:59Speaker 2: to do, understand. And so I do think that this
- 30:05Speaker 2: is just another example of where we are Ambassador Mike Waltz,
- 30:12Speaker 2: for example, in the Strait of Horror moves. He had
- 30:14Speaker 2: this to say on Say the Union on CNN Woul
- 30:16Speaker 2: Jake Tapper listen.
- 30:18Speaker 10: Consistent about for ten years, if not longer.
- 30:22Speaker 11: President Trump said that the Navy, the US Navy is
- 30:25Speaker 11: going to begin escorting tankers through the Straight of Horror
- 30:28Speaker 11: moves and that will begin very soon. And he said, quote,
- 30:31Speaker 11: many countries will be sending warships to keep the straight
- 30:33Speaker 11: open and safe.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Unquote.
- 30:35Speaker 11: The administration's been talking about potential navy escorts for more
- 30:38Speaker 11: than a week now. Shipping executives tell CNN that all
- 30:41Speaker 11: their requests for escorts have as have now been rebuffed.
- 30:45Speaker 11: President Trump said, quote hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea,
- 30:48Speaker 11: the UK and others will send ships to the area unquote.
- 30:52Speaker 11: Is he hoping that those countries are going to send
- 30:54Speaker 11: ships or have they committed to sending ships? And how
- 30:57Speaker 11: soon will those naval escorts be ready?
- 31:00Speaker 10: Well, I'll leave those, you know, those conversations to him.
- 31:03Speaker 10: The conversations are ongoing. I think there's an important point
- 31:06Speaker 10: that's getting you know, kind of missed in the conversation,
- 31:09Speaker 10: and that eighty percent of the oil coming out of
- 31:12Speaker 10: the Gulf heads to Asia, only about seven eight percent
- 31:17Speaker 10: heads to the Western Hemisphere. And thank God for President
- 31:20Speaker 10: Trump's energy dominance agenda, everything from opening up and war,
- 31:25Speaker 10: a new pipeline in Alaska, incentivizing fracking, what we're going
- 31:31Speaker 10: to see come out of Venezuela and Guyana in the
- 31:35Speaker 10: coming months and years. This is why we.
- 31:37Speaker 4: Have to be energy independent.
- 31:39Speaker 10: And I have to just say it's a little rich
- 31:41Speaker 10: coming from the progressive left who has literally been at
- 31:44Speaker 10: war against oil. Literally we're putting policies in place to
- 31:49Speaker 10: drive up the price of oil in order to force
- 31:52Speaker 10: Americans to buy evs and go to wind and solar.
- 31:56Speaker 10: Are now suddenly celebrating it or to crossing the lack
- 31:59Speaker 10: of it.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I said, it's a little bit rich.
- 32:01Speaker 10: We have the energy dominance in place. But to your
- 32:04Speaker 10: point on escorts, look back in the eighties under the
- 32:09Speaker 10: tanker wars. Then the last time Iran tried to constrain
- 32:13Speaker 10: global energy supplies, you had French, United Kingdom, even Soviet
- 32:19Speaker 10: Union forces in their escorting their tankers out that were
- 32:23Speaker 10: heading to their markets. And I think that's what President
- 32:26Speaker 10: Trump is calling upon the world, saying the entire world
- 32:28Speaker 10: is affected. Iran can't hold your economies hostage, and we
- 32:32Speaker 10: certainly welcome, encourage, and even demand their participation to help
- 32:39Speaker 10: their own economies. And meanwhile, the US military will continue
- 32:43Speaker 10: to pound the Iranian military their missile, boat and drone
- 32:48Speaker 10: forces to keep the straits open.
- 32:51Speaker 11: Sources LCNN that Russia has been providing Iran with intelligence
- 32:56Speaker 11: to help Iran better target.
- 33:00Speaker 2: You notice their ambassador Mike Waltz explaining it perfectly and
- 33:05Speaker 2: letting people understand exactly the fact that the Strait of Hormus.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Any percent that will coming out of the Gulf heads
- 33:11Speaker 2: to Asia, it's not coming to America now. Can It
- 33:13Speaker 2: will certainly traine the prices in general. But the way
- 33:17Speaker 2: that you described is what they're doing to the global
- 33:19Speaker 2: energy supplies is constraining the world's economy.
- 33:24Speaker 1: That's the other reason why you need other.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Countries to come in here and do what the present
- 33:30Speaker 2: said in his comments right like this is very clear.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Now.
- 33:35Speaker 2: The Iranian Foreign minister went on the Communists ms NOW
- 33:39Speaker 2: network and here's what he had to say about the
- 33:42Speaker 2: Strait of Hormuz.
- 33:44Speaker 12: Is there any sign that Iran is prepared to allow
- 33:48Speaker 12: passage of the Straits of Hormuz. Will the straits of
- 33:51Speaker 12: Hormuz remain closed so long as this war continues?
- 33:57Speaker 13: Well, as a matter of fact, this straight off Hormos's open.
- 34:00Speaker 13: It is only closed to the tankers and ships belong
- 34:06Speaker 13: to the to our enemies, to those who are attacking
- 34:09Speaker 13: us and their allies.
- 34:11Speaker 8: Others are free to pass. Of course, many of them
- 34:15Speaker 8: prefer not because of their you know, security concerns. This
- 34:19Speaker 8: this has nothing to do with us.
- 34:21Speaker 14: And at the same time, there are many tankers and
- 34:24Speaker 14: ships who are passing through the Strait of Hormos. And
- 34:27Speaker 14: and and I can say that the strait is not closed,
- 34:32Speaker 14: but it is only closed to American and Israeli uh,
- 34:37Speaker 14: you know, ships and tankers, and not to others.
- 34:42Speaker 3: I love the lies there.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Now, notice that MSNBC doesn't.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Like pushback at all on any of that, Like, hey,
- 34:48Speaker 2: we're not really sure that's true. Hey, you guys have
- 34:51Speaker 2: been doing X, Y and Z. Hey we don't think
- 34:53Speaker 2: what you're saying is accurate at all. None of that.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Like none of it. They don't. They don't like none
- 34:57Speaker 1: of it.
- 34:58Speaker 2: They're just like, yeah, okay, we'll go with that. Sounds good,
- 35:00Speaker 2: Like let's please come on. Put out your propaganda at
- 35:03Speaker 2: full speed. What could possibly go wrong here? This is
- 35:08Speaker 2: and again, this is American TV that hates Donald Trump
- 35:14Speaker 2: more than they care about our national security. This is
- 35:18Speaker 2: American TV that is willing to give cover to the
- 35:24Speaker 2: Democratic parties. They shut down the Department of Home Security
- 35:27Speaker 2: while there are terroist attacks happening on the United States
- 35:31Speaker 2: of America. Think about that. It's incredible. And they know
- 35:37Speaker 2: the terroist attacks are happening. They know the Department Home
- 35:39Speaker 2: Security is important. They also know the straighterformis is not
- 35:42Speaker 2: open the way that the DURAN just discredit. But they
- 35:44Speaker 2: let that propaganda get out there. Why because they hope
- 35:48Speaker 2: that it hurts Donald Trump. That's what it's all about.
- 35:52Speaker 2: Hurt Donald Trump at all costs. Make sure you share
