- 1:47Speaker 4: the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 9: One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man, Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 2: got a radio show because God.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Because God is simply amazing, because God is off the chain,
- 2:20Speaker 7: because God is over the top, because God is all
- 2:23Speaker 7: that in a bag of chips.
- 2:25Speaker 2: God is amazing. Man.
- 2:27Speaker 7: God will take you places that you never ever thought
- 2:31Speaker 7: you would go.
- 2:32Speaker 9: Or you know what.
- 2:33Speaker 7: It's sometimes it amazes me when I'm watching people talk
- 2:37Speaker 7: about themselves and their careers and where they're at in
- 2:40Speaker 7: life and things, and they and I hear people say,
- 2:43Speaker 7: you know, always dreamed of being here. You know, I
- 2:47Speaker 7: can understand when a person says that I've always dreamed
- 2:51Speaker 7: that of something like this would happen to me. But
- 2:53Speaker 7: I want you to think about that for a second.
- 2:59Speaker 7: Did you really see it just like that though? Did
- 3:02Speaker 7: you really really see it just like that? Did you
- 3:09Speaker 7: really know that God was going to bring you through
- 3:11Speaker 7: all he bought you through to get you to this place?
- 3:16Speaker 7: Did you know that, in spite of the losses along
- 3:19Speaker 7: the way that would crumbled the average person, that somehow
- 3:23Speaker 7: He kept you through it.
- 3:24Speaker 2: All and that's how you got here? Did you think
- 3:28Speaker 2: of you know?
- 3:29Speaker 7: I mean, you know, I mean, since you're so busy
- 3:32Speaker 7: talking about yourself now, have you forgotten all the times
- 3:37Speaker 7: He was bringing you through when you didn't see no
- 3:40Speaker 7: way that you was gonna get through?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Do you remember that?
- 3:44Speaker 7: So when you sit there and you say, I dreamed
- 3:48Speaker 7: of this, this is what I always saw happening, I.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Don't really think.
- 3:52Speaker 10: So.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I don't really think.
- 3:53Speaker 7: If you take inventory, or real close inventory of your
- 3:57Speaker 7: life and you look back on it all, stop looking
- 4:00Speaker 7: at the moment right now, remember where you come from. See,
- 4:03Speaker 7: that's what gets me emotional sometimes, that's what makes me
- 4:06Speaker 7: tear up, because when something is happening to me in
- 4:09Speaker 7: the moment, it ain't the moment for.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Me, it's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:16Speaker 7: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:21Speaker 7: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:24Speaker 7: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:27Speaker 7: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out on
- 4:30Speaker 7: the ward to me or somebody calling my name, that's that.
- 4:35Speaker 7: Did you really think you was gonna make it?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Then?
- 4:38Speaker 7: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 7: I always dreamed? Did you really think in those moments
- 4:44Speaker 7: right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 2: That's why I try to I try to give people.
- 4:48Speaker 7: To understand, you know, and and and and this is
- 4:51Speaker 7: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.
- 4:54Speaker 7: But then guess what I sometimes I had to remind
- 4:57Speaker 7: myself of it. So I guess it's still kind of
- 4:59Speaker 7: for everybody, you know, because I work with a lot
- 5:02Speaker 7: of young people, and so many times, man, young people
- 5:06Speaker 7: just don't understand what all it takes. And I know,
- 5:11Speaker 7: and if you're a full grown adult, if you're forty,
- 5:14Speaker 7: you really understanding where I'm coming from, because you know
- 5:20Speaker 7: it's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't
- 5:23Speaker 7: understand this, that you got to do some things that
- 5:27Speaker 7: you don't want to do in order to do what
- 5:30Speaker 7: you want to do, you have to understand this principle
- 5:34Speaker 7: of success or else you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 7: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 7: ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 7: all of that. But in the meantime, though, there are
- 5:49Speaker 7: some necessary steps that you have to take in order
- 5:51Speaker 7: to become successful. And you cannot skip these steps. You
- 5:56Speaker 7: can't jump over these steps just because you want to
- 5:58Speaker 7: be rich, Friday, I got that.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I got that. Everybody got that.
- 6:04Speaker 7: But if you want this, whatever you're talking about, whether
- 6:07Speaker 7: it's money or success or fame or climbing the corporate
- 6:11Speaker 7: letter or this is the position or you all, that's
- 6:14Speaker 7: fine and day please hold on to your dreams. Dreams
- 6:18Speaker 7: come true. But in the meantime, let me remind you
- 6:23Speaker 7: of something that you gotta do some things you don't
- 6:26Speaker 7: want to do in order to do what you want
- 6:29Speaker 7: to do.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Let's say you want to be rich and famous. Let's
- 6:32Speaker 2: just say that's it for you. Now, it's a lot
- 6:35Speaker 2: of other ways of being successful. Please don't think that's
- 6:37Speaker 2: the only one. But I'm just saying, let's just say, yo,
- 6:39Speaker 2: it is rich and famous.
- 6:42Speaker 7: And let's say some miraculous way God made you rich
- 6:46Speaker 7: and famous. Next Friday, Ta dad d y'all you rich
- 6:51Speaker 7: and you famous? Next Friday? Can I share something with you?
- 6:54Speaker 7: This is not going to last for you. You know
- 6:57Speaker 7: why because you have not done the things it's necessary.
- 7:02Speaker 7: You have not done the things that you have to
- 7:05Speaker 7: do in order to do the things you want.
- 7:08Speaker 2: So now you're rich and famous. How you gonna know
- 7:11Speaker 2: how to budget money?
- 7:14Speaker 7: How you gonna know how to get up and keep
- 7:16Speaker 7: clawing towards the top when you fall.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Off your pedestal. See, it's so many things.
- 7:22Speaker 7: You got to know about something, and you think because
- 7:26Speaker 7: it's what you want right now, it's supposed to happen
- 7:28Speaker 7: just now. It's a process. When you ask God for something.
- 7:31Speaker 7: Please know God know the process. He knows the necessary
- 7:35Speaker 7: steps to take you through. Don't lose your patience with
- 7:38Speaker 7: God because your dreams ain't coming true right now? Man,
- 7:45Speaker 7: You know, I think the best way y'all is for me.
- 7:47Speaker 7: I just use myself as an example. I really do
- 7:50Speaker 7: understand why God has given me the life he's given
- 7:53Speaker 7: me so far. I understand the being homeless part. Now
- 7:57Speaker 7: I get to not being successful when I want it.
- 8:00Speaker 7: Two Part now I get it. I got the delayed
- 8:03Speaker 7: entry into the field of choice for myself. I got
- 8:06Speaker 7: it now. I've been wanting to be on TV and
- 8:08Speaker 7: a little comedian since I was nine years old. But
- 8:11Speaker 7: guess what, I didn't get there until I was twenty eight.
- 8:15Speaker 7: But see I didn't get it. Then I was mad
- 8:17Speaker 7: at God. You know what I want, and I'm senterm
- 8:20Speaker 7: here here. I got exactly what you want. But I
- 8:22Speaker 7: got this process. I want you to go through to
- 8:24Speaker 7: get here too, because see I'm finna take you somewhere.
- 8:27Speaker 7: You don't know nothing, but one day you're gonna have
- 8:29Speaker 7: a radio show with you a little stupid behind. You
- 8:31Speaker 7: don't know this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a
- 8:33Speaker 7: radio show. You don't even know it. That's why I
- 8:35Speaker 7: say every morning, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Because see,
- 8:39Speaker 7: I didn't see this one coming. But see, God had
- 8:41Speaker 7: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 8:43Speaker 7: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is,
- 8:46Speaker 7: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit.
- 8:51Speaker 7: I'm gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions
- 8:54Speaker 7: you wanna make and I'm gonna make you learn from them.
- 8:56Speaker 7: I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.
- 9:00Speaker 7: I'm gonna let you not get into your field of
- 9:02Speaker 7: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking
- 9:05Speaker 7: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.
- 9:07Speaker 7: I ain't gonna let you get your first con your
- 9:09Speaker 7: name to your thirty eight. I'm gonna make you go
- 9:12Speaker 7: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a
- 9:15Speaker 7: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you
- 9:17Speaker 7: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.
- 9:20Speaker 7: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 7: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 7: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:28Speaker 7: minute and I turned your life around for you.
- 9:30Speaker 2: That's God dealing with me. See.
- 9:33Speaker 7: So now I finally understand why I went through the
- 9:36Speaker 7: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 9:40Speaker 7: I ain't over here telling you about what I think
- 9:42Speaker 7: will happen. I'm telling you what I know can happen.
- 9:45Speaker 7: That God does make dreams come true, but sometime it
- 9:48Speaker 7: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
- 9:51Speaker 7: things you don't want to do. In order to do
- 9:53Speaker 7: what you wanna do. All right, all that you, I'm
- 9:56Speaker 7: gonna be tripping to day you're listening, Ladies and gentlemen,

- 10:53Speaker 9: Get this here.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Show ain't like no other show.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Yes, Shirley, right after you heard me, you know, surely
- 11:03Speaker 7: I just wanted to say.
- 11:06Speaker 2: You know, the Lord God Almighty created he and created me.
- 11:15Speaker 2: He knew what he was doing.
- 11:16Speaker 7: When he bought me here, he knew how I was
- 11:21Speaker 7: gonna turn out, for I started out. He knew when
- 11:25Speaker 7: I was a little boy that he was gonna make
- 11:27Speaker 7: me this. So why am I trying to be that
- 11:31Speaker 7: when clearly he made me to be this?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Amen?
- 11:36Speaker 7: And if anybody don't like this, then find you something
- 11:41Speaker 7: else that you like that's like that.
- 11:47Speaker 1: That's all man.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I ain't got no problem with this right here, because
- 11:51Speaker 2: I ain't mad at you for being you.
- 11:54Speaker 7: You know, I let everybody be who they gonna be. Cool,
- 11:58Speaker 7: but now when I'm doing I won't want everybody to
- 12:02Speaker 7: you know, just go along with it.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Also, we've got to understand this.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Everybody has the right to be and do whatever they
- 12:11Speaker 7: want to be or do, but also, in your being
- 12:15Speaker 7: and doing that, make sure that you allow a lotment
- 12:19Speaker 7: for everybody to be and do who they are.
- 12:22Speaker 9: You see what I'm saying. You see what I'm saying.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Just let it go.
- 12:27Speaker 7: You can't raise your hand publicly and make a statement
- 12:31Speaker 7: about what you believe in what you do, and don't
- 12:33Speaker 7: expect nobody to raise their hand and say what they
- 12:36Speaker 7: believe in what they do. And if it's counter to you,
- 12:39Speaker 7: then let us let it be counter.
- 12:41Speaker 11: It's all good. It's all good. Yeah, go to your
- 12:49Speaker 11: house and preach that.
- 12:51Speaker 7: That's all go ahead. It doesn't work at your house,
- 12:55Speaker 7: Tom wives zim from all this. Yes, logic rez and
- 13:04Speaker 7: then under logic.
- 13:05Speaker 9: Logic don't work.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Right out the window.
- 13:10Speaker 9: You can come appreciate it.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Family, if you like going to jail, go and go
- 13:14Speaker 1: to jail.
- 13:15Speaker 12: I'm not saying nothing to you.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Family, I'm not stopping you from going.
- 13:22Speaker 3: No.
- 13:23Speaker 7: No, you know how many people that wasted they want
- 13:25Speaker 7: call by calling me?
- 13:32Speaker 1: All right, on that note, we're moving on.
- 13:37Speaker 13: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we're
- 13:40Speaker 13: gonna hear from the nephew as he runs that prank
- 13:42Speaker 13: back right after this. You're listening hard Morning show. It
- 13:48Speaker 13: is time now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 14: What you got for his nep This right here is
- 13:53Speaker 14: alarm alert.
- 13:55Speaker 9: Let's just get right to it.
- 13:56Speaker 10: Come on, cat Hello, Hello reached Denise.
- 14:00Speaker 15: Please, Yeah, this is Denise.
- 14:03Speaker 10: Hi Denise, this is Tony. I'm calling security. I've got
- 14:07Speaker 10: an alarm that we've got an alarm that's gone off
- 14:10Speaker 10: on you guys property are you guys? We're just checking
- 14:14Speaker 10: before we send authorities out. Is everything okay? Then maybe
- 14:16Speaker 10: someone tripped the alarm.
- 14:18Speaker 15: Oh my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm at work
- 14:22Speaker 15: right now. I'm not home.
- 14:24Speaker 10: Okay. Do you have a tet or dog or anything
- 14:26Speaker 10: that could actually trip the alarm?
- 14:28Speaker 15: No, No, that's strange. That never goes off like that.
- 14:32Speaker 15: I'm nervous.
- 14:34Speaker 10: Okay, give me a second. We've got a call into
- 14:36Speaker 10: the neighborhood security that actually are in route to the property,
- 14:40Speaker 10: and they were going to give us some information before
- 14:44Speaker 10: we actually sent the sent the police officers out, unless
- 14:47Speaker 10: you would like for me to send them out now.
- 14:49Speaker 10: But yeah, I feel like.
- 14:50Speaker 15: You should send the police. I mean, if I'm not
- 14:52Speaker 15: home and nobody's home and my alarm's going off and
- 14:56Speaker 15: it never goes off that, I'm worried.
- 14:59Speaker 10: Okay, hang on one second, this is neighborhood security calling that.
- 15:02Speaker 10: Hang on one second. I'll be right back to you.
- 15:04Speaker 15: Okay, niece, are you there, Yes, yes, yes, I'm here.
- 15:08Speaker 10: They have they're out there at the property, the neighborhood security.
- 15:13Speaker 16: Do you.
- 15:15Speaker 10: There is a black guy there is on your premise.
- 15:18Speaker 10: Are you familiar with who that might be?
- 15:20Speaker 15: Well, I mean my husband's black, but he should be
- 15:23Speaker 15: at work right now, Okay, definitely, okay, and he probably
- 15:27Speaker 15: would have texted me if you know the alarm was
- 15:29Speaker 15: going off.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Okay, Well, I mean, do you have any other black
- 15:33Speaker 10: male friends?
- 15:34Speaker 15: Excuse me?
- 15:36Speaker 10: Do you have any other Do you have any other
- 15:39Speaker 10: black male friends that might be at the house.
- 15:42Speaker 15: I mean, yeah, it's a very weird question. I mean
- 15:46Speaker 15: I have black friends, yes, but I don't think they
- 15:49Speaker 15: would be in my house.
- 15:51Speaker 10: Okay, Well, I mean should we just assume that this
- 15:54Speaker 10: is your husband? What do you think? I I mean,
- 15:56Speaker 10: what would you like for me?
- 15:59Speaker 15: I mean, how tall is this person? My husband's sixty three?
- 16:04Speaker 10: Hold on, guy, hold on one second. Let me go
- 16:06Speaker 10: back to the street from the neghbhook I hang on
- 16:08Speaker 10: one second.
- 16:09Speaker 15: Yeah, no, somebody's in my lum's going off. I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 10: I mean, okay, Denise, Yes, okay, they have a The
- 16:19Speaker 10: black guy that they're looking at is about five foot ten,
- 16:23Speaker 10: maybe late twenties. How old is your husband?
- 16:26Speaker 15: No, my husband is. I just told you that my
- 16:31Speaker 15: husband's not there. He would have texted me or called
- 16:34Speaker 15: me and told me that he accidentally set the alarm off.
- 16:38Speaker 15: And I'm actually going to text him. I mean, this
- 16:40Speaker 15: is crazy. I should probably call him.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Okay, you did not realize if you do realize, if
- 16:45Speaker 10: we send the authorities out and this is a false call,
- 16:47Speaker 10: that you're going to get charged for that. You do
- 16:49Speaker 10: know that, right, a false call.
- 16:51Speaker 15: You just said, somebody's in my house and it's not
- 16:54Speaker 15: me or my husband, so you shouldn't be charging me
- 16:58Speaker 15: for that.
- 16:59Speaker 10: You're saying your husband's black, and then there's a black
- 17:01Speaker 10: guy there. I mean, they probably know each other, right.
- 17:04Speaker 15: Are you kidding me? What kind of question is that
- 17:08Speaker 15: they Why? Because they're both black?
- 17:11Speaker 10: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 17:12Speaker 10: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 17:15Speaker 10: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 17:17Speaker 10: the black guy or he's a relative or something. I mean,
- 17:20Speaker 10: do they I mean, you know, do you want to call.
- 17:23Speaker 16: Your rank done?
- 17:24Speaker 17: Do you think like this.
- 17:27Speaker 15: Is really offensive? And I don't understand if I'm telling
- 17:31Speaker 15: you that I don't know who the person is in
- 17:33Speaker 15: my house, that means sends the police. I mean, this
- 17:37Speaker 15: is ridiculous and black.
- 17:40Speaker 10: They're calling back neighborhoods. Just hold on one second. Neighborhood
- 17:45Speaker 10: security is calling back.
- 17:45Speaker 15: Here, Oh my god, this is ridiculous.
- 17:53Speaker 10: Okay, Denise. Now the security in the neighborhood, they're telling
- 17:57Speaker 10: me that this guy just drove the garage and a
- 18:00Speaker 10: white pickup. Do you do you guys have a white pickup?
- 18:03Speaker 15: Yes, we do.
- 18:06Speaker 10: So this guy just pulled out of your your your
- 18:09Speaker 10: garage and a white pickup. Well, I have my.
- 18:12Speaker 15: Car at work and my husband has his car that's
- 18:14Speaker 15: like the truck that he uses on the weekends for
- 18:18Speaker 15: like construction and stuff. So that means somebody just stole
- 18:21Speaker 15: our car. I can't believe this is happening. You are
- 18:24Speaker 15: watching somebody in my house and you you basically watch
- 18:27Speaker 15: them steal my truck.
- 18:29Speaker 10: Well, well, I'm gonna go ahead and now and get
- 18:32Speaker 10: the police to go over. Okay, so why are you
- 18:35Speaker 10: going to send them?
- 18:35Speaker 17: Now?

- 26:34Speaker 13: The fact that my mother won't let him sleep over

- 26:39Speaker 1: We're going to get married, so why is she still
- 26:41Speaker 1: treating me like a child.
- 26:45Speaker 7: Your man can't sleep at your mama house. If you

- 27:08Speaker 7: your mama. Now he over and now he got a
- 27:10Speaker 7: free place. He ain't got spending. You see how that sounds, man,
- 27:14Speaker 7: it's the sense of entitlement that people have. So first

- 27:56Speaker 13: I recently moved from Chicago. For a fresh start after
- 27:59Speaker 13: a breakup. My friend told me that my axe is
- 28:02Speaker 13: trying to find out where I disappeared to.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Is he trying to keep up with me because he
- 28:08Speaker 1: wants me back?
- 28:09Speaker 13: Or is he making sure I'm totally out of the way.
- 28:13Speaker 2: What difference do you do?
- 28:17Speaker 8: What differ?
- 28:20Speaker 10: Now?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Here he go again?
- 28:22Speaker 7: First he tree trimming. Now he'd just set up here.
- 28:26Speaker 7: Now he got a pawn shop. He's buying health of
- 28:28Speaker 7: jewelry farms. Now he's gonna be here looking for free rumors.
- 28:31Speaker 7: Now he got a people location service going. That's why
- 28:36Speaker 7: what is you worried about him? I told you should
- 28:38Speaker 7: have left his ass a long time ago. Who plan
- 28:41Speaker 7: on making money with a people location service?
- 28:44Speaker 9: I know?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Now he just app Now he googled?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Now he did he is? So who is he?

- 29:02Speaker 1: I'm coming up.
- 29:04Speaker 8: You're listening Morning show.
- 29:09Speaker 10: Up.
- 29:09Speaker 13: Presidential candidate Vivica Vivic Ramaswamy has agreed to stop rapping
- 29:15Speaker 13: to eminem on the campaign trail. Ramaswamy wrapped part of
- 29:19Speaker 13: Lose Yourself during a campaign event at the Iowa State Fair.
- 29:23Speaker 13: Eminem A Ka Marshall Mathers sent a c SYN desist
- 29:27Speaker 13: letter objecting to the Vivic Ramaswami campaign's use of his music.
- 29:33Speaker 13: In response to the c syent desist, Ramaswamy said on
- 29:37Speaker 13: x or Twitter quote, will the real slim shady please
- 29:41Speaker 13: stand up?
- 29:43Speaker 14: He Hey, that is not the smoke.
- 29:52Speaker 2: You won't not im.
- 29:57Speaker 1: Detroit before you don't.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I mean he won the top cats. Man.
- 30:01Speaker 7: You know I've been watching a First of all, let
- 30:03Speaker 7: me say this about this dude, ram will Swami.
- 30:05Speaker 9: Whatever his name is.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Rob's a very dangerous candidate. You are.
- 30:09Speaker 7: We're gonna have to get ready because they already know
- 30:13Speaker 7: they have no candidate that's going to stand up to
- 30:15Speaker 7: Donald Trump. So Donald Trump will be their pick, the
- 30:20Speaker 7: pick that Donald Trump is going to make. That's what
- 30:22Speaker 7: these debates are about. He's looking for a vice president
- 30:26Speaker 7: and right now this boy is running. All of them
- 30:29Speaker 7: are running for second place because the ain't none of
- 30:31Speaker 7: them in double digits except the Santas and he only
- 30:34Speaker 7: seventeen percent. He ain't finna be president either, but they
- 30:37Speaker 7: want to be vice president. And that Ramaswami guy, he's
- 30:41Speaker 7: very dangerous. He's more dangerous than Trump. He's an evil guy. Man,
- 30:46Speaker 7: he's an evil guy, and he's an evil guy from
- 30:50Speaker 7: in his heart and soul. Trump doing what he do
- 30:53Speaker 7: for party and power. He don't even know issues.
- 30:56Speaker 10: Really.
- 30:58Speaker 2: This other guy right here is adres Man.
- 31:01Speaker 7: He raised his head and said, if first thing I'm
- 31:05Speaker 7: going to do when I'm elected president is pardon Donald Trump.
- 31:08Speaker 7: This dude right here, it's danger Now let me say
- 31:12Speaker 7: this about Eminem. This dude right here's one of the
- 31:16Speaker 7: few cats. I'm not a hip hop specialist at all.
- 31:18Speaker 7: I have no business. Don't ask me nothing on the
- 31:21Speaker 7: subject because I'm not well first or nothing. But I
- 31:25Speaker 7: was watching the game on drink Champs and the game said,
- 31:30Speaker 7: I think, yeah, I used to think Eminem was a
- 31:35Speaker 7: better rapper than me.
- 31:37Speaker 2: He's not. And the dude, what's his name, Noriega?
- 31:43Speaker 7: He said, He said, He said, wait a minute, hold up, now,
- 31:48Speaker 7: hold on, what.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Are you saying? So then game said, oh, you saying
- 31:53Speaker 2: Eminem is better than me?
- 31:57Speaker 7: That dude, no yega with man, what the hell you
- 32:00Speaker 7: talking about? And and the debate started the game and
- 32:05Speaker 7: went off talking about all you think because he a
- 32:06Speaker 7: white man.
- 32:07Speaker 2: He said, brother, ain't got nothing that has nothing to
- 32:10Speaker 2: do with it. Eminem man is a head bad boy.
- 32:16Speaker 1: This dude is, he's a.
- 32:19Speaker 2: He's a dude. But man, Game said that, and I'm that.
- 32:26Speaker 9: Baby Games blamed.
- 32:29Speaker 1: The real slim shady. Please stand up? Did he say that?
- 32:33Speaker 13: Did he really say that?
- 32:37Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, look it up, go and
- 32:39Speaker 2: drink Champs.
- 32:40Speaker 7: Just look it up, drink jump and Game says he's
- 32:42Speaker 7: better than just look it up.
- 32:46Speaker 2: About And I don't know a damn thing about hip hop.
- 32:48Speaker 7: I'm not an expert or nothing, but I know you
- 32:51Speaker 7: know that.
- 32:54Speaker 1: But I'm talking about saying with a real yeah, he really.
- 33:00Speaker 2: He's so stupid.
- 33:03Speaker 13: Switching gears still trending in sports entertainment news. We love
- 33:08Speaker 13: how young tennis great Coco Golf stood up for herself
- 33:12Speaker 13: in the match against Laura Siegmuan on day one of
- 33:15Speaker 13: the US Open. Coco approach chair umpire in the third
- 33:19Speaker 13: set to express her frustration that she believed the umpire
- 33:22Speaker 13: wasn't enforcing time violation rules for Siegmund's pace of play.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Take a listen, Hurry fall rallies. It's two balls. She's
- 33:30Speaker 1: going to send me doing everything.
- 33:32Speaker 2: I'm not going.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I'm going on normal speed, that's any wreck.
- 33:35Speaker 16: Here.
- 33:36Speaker 15: I go a.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Medium pace speed.
- 33:39Speaker 18: But she can't everything missing like six points.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Not per se every game second. Sy I didn't say nothing.
- 33:56Speaker 18: But now was I don't care what she's going to
- 33:58Speaker 18: urse her yet ready?
- 34:03Speaker 1: She said what she said, be ready, and.
- 34:06Speaker 7: She was one hundred percent correct, because they played it
- 34:08Speaker 7: back on Sports Center, and every time Coco was ready
- 34:13Speaker 7: to serve, she had to wait on this girl. And
- 34:16Speaker 7: the rule in tennis is the server sets the pace
- 34:20Speaker 7: of play, you know, within a reasonable amount of time.
- 34:24Speaker 7: But the girl plays, like she says, at a medium pace.
- 34:27Speaker 7: She's not a fast player, she's not a but the
- 34:30Speaker 7: other girl who was getting her hey was trying to
- 34:35Speaker 7: slow her down and throw her rhythm off. So she
- 34:39Speaker 7: was over there fixing, fixing threads in her paddle, walking off,
- 34:44Speaker 7: and you know, the girl bouncing the ball got her thing.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Out of fire for them over the knit and her.
- 34:51Speaker 7: Busts her dead and her damn face with that, Oh
- 34:55Speaker 7: my bad.
- 34:57Speaker 13: The good news is that Coco feeded Sigmund three six,
- 35:01Speaker 13: sixty two and sixty four to advance to the second round. Yeah,
- 35:05Speaker 13: so that's the good news. Yeah, that's the good news. Finally,
- 35:11Speaker 13: in entertainment news, Kanye we was pull up your pants
- 35:14Speaker 13: while in Italy. The paparazzi managed to snap shots of
- 35:17Speaker 13: Yay hunched over just with his butt sticking out and
- 35:20Speaker 13: facing the camera. He was enjoying a scenic water taxi
- 35:23Speaker 13: ride with his wife at the time, apparently not realizing
- 35:26Speaker 13: or even caring that his butt was out that it
- 35:29Speaker 13: was showing. Everybody in Italy could see it if they
- 35:32Speaker 13: wanted to, because it was just out.
- 35:34Speaker 1: It's too much for it. It's just yeah, talk about
- 35:37Speaker 1: what is that about?
- 35:39Speaker 17: What?
- 35:40Speaker 14: I'm not going to discuss Kanye's as I'm coming up at.
- 35:44Speaker 13: Twenty minutes after the hour, Well, check Steve's voicemail at
- 35:47Speaker 13: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening Hard Morning show.

- 35:57Speaker 13: you would like to leave a message for Steve yourself,
- 35:59Speaker 13: call him at eight nine Steve.
- 36:01Speaker 1: You might just hear your call on the air.
- 36:03Speaker 2: Ready, Steve, Yeah, yeah, I'm ready.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Here we go. This is Carol from Chicago.
- 36:10Speaker 10: Hi, Steve, this.
- 36:11Speaker 19: Is Carolyn from Chicago.
- 36:13Speaker 10: I just want to put something out there.
- 36:15Speaker 9: Everybody.
- 36:16Speaker 19: Leave Steve Harvey and Margie Harvey alone.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Mind your business.
- 36:21Speaker 10: They're doing okay as far as I know.
- 36:23Speaker 1: Leave them alone.
- 36:25Speaker 10: Okay. I love you, Steve bye.

- 38:24Speaker 7: I just can't say that. I just said one more time.
- 38:27Speaker 7: Ain't nothing wrong with us. We're good.
- 38:30Speaker 10: I know it.
- 38:31Speaker 2: I don't know where that's all coming from. Y'all do
- 38:33Speaker 2: like you want to do.
- 38:34Speaker 7: But when y'all get through, what I ain't finna do
- 38:37Speaker 7: is be on no blog with y'all. I'm staying on
- 38:40Speaker 7: the wall and I'm trusting in God. Whatever this is
- 38:42Speaker 7: fa I'm gonna let God show you what it's for.
- 38:46Speaker 7: But you're gonna see though.
- 38:48Speaker 13: All right, See, we have more calls coming up at
- 38:50Speaker 13: thirty four minutes after the hour, right after this, you're.
- 38:53Speaker 8: Listening hard morning show.
- 38:57Speaker 13: So Steve, your voicemail is just full of message, and
- 39:00Speaker 13: we want to remind our listeners that if you would
- 39:02Speaker 13: like to leave a message for Steve yourself, call him
- 39:05Speaker 13: at eight seven seven nine. Steve, this is a caller
- 39:09Speaker 13: female who want who needs some relation advice. Okay, relationship advice,
- 39:15Speaker 13: not relations relationship advice.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Hind see.
- 39:21Speaker 16: I just have a question.
- 39:23Speaker 10: I just want to know if I'm wrong here.
- 39:25Speaker 5: So every year for my birthday, my significant other never
- 39:30Speaker 5: does anything.
- 39:31Speaker 10: I've gone out.
- 39:32Speaker 16: And above, going on trips, I've posted the.
- 39:35Speaker 10: Prise party, and he's never done anything. That's here at
- 39:40Speaker 10: eighteen of marriage and we've never done anything. Well, he's
- 39:45Speaker 10: never done anything for my birthday. And my wrong for
- 39:48Speaker 10: expressing myself and saying how sad I am.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Because every time that I do.
- 39:53Speaker 10: Say how I feel about not being treated for birthdays
- 39:56Speaker 10: or I am a birth thy, i am being told
- 39:59Speaker 10: I'm ungreatf God should be happy with whatever.
- 40:02Speaker 19: Thanks tell me if I'm wrong, Thank you.
- 40:07Speaker 7: No, you're absolutely not wrong. You have a right to
- 40:10Speaker 7: want what you want, you have a right to expect things.
- 40:16Speaker 7: Now you're calling him your significant other, so obviously this
- 40:22Speaker 7: has been going on for a period of time. I
- 40:26Speaker 7: think the question you really need to ask yourself is
- 40:28Speaker 7: how significant of the other are you to him? That's
- 40:34Speaker 7: a real question you need to ask yourself that card.
- 40:38Speaker 7: The man ain't asked you to marry him. He don't
- 40:41Speaker 7: do nothing for your birthdays. Y'all don't have no anniversaries.
- 40:46Speaker 7: And every time you ask him for something, you ought
- 40:48Speaker 7: to be happy with what he gives you well, And
- 40:51Speaker 7: the reason he's doing that is because you've accepted everything
- 40:54Speaker 7: else he's given you, which has been little or nothing.
- 40:56Speaker 2: So why would you want more than.
- 40:58Speaker 7: Now, Ladies, if you're gonna call yourself a significant other,
- 41:04Speaker 7: I think you need to find out how significant you
- 41:06Speaker 7: are to the other person, because you may not be
- 41:11Speaker 7: as significant as you think.
- 41:14Speaker 2: And any time a man loves you and you go
- 41:18Speaker 2: to him.
- 41:18Speaker 7: With something you want or need, most men who love
- 41:23Speaker 7: a woman will try to make it happen for them
- 41:27Speaker 7: as long as within their power. Now, if you're asking
- 41:31Speaker 7: for stuff, this man just ain't God and ain'tcapable of giving.
- 41:34Speaker 7: That's another thing. But a simple thing like something for
- 41:38Speaker 7: your birthday, some thought being put into Christmas or something
- 41:42Speaker 7: like that, that ain't much of nothing. And if a
- 41:45Speaker 7: man ain't thinking of you on those special days, he
- 41:48Speaker 7: ain't thinking of you on them other days either. So
- 41:51Speaker 7: now how significant is he or how significant are you
- 41:55Speaker 7: to him? So your significant other may be just significant
- 41:59Speaker 7: to you, You might not be a significant to him.
- 42:02Speaker 2: It's real simple.
- 42:03Speaker 7: And he'd have told you just gonna get ready to
- 42:06Speaker 7: settle on in because that's all this is right here.
- 42:08Speaker 7: I'm gonna get you nothing else, and you complaining now
- 42:11Speaker 7: you are ungrateful or grateful for what you'll You don't
- 42:14Speaker 7: do nothing. You don't even get nothing on your special day.
- 42:19Speaker 7: That's that's interesting. So no, you're not wrong at all.
- 42:27Speaker 7: But you're doing all this stuff for him, but he
- 42:29Speaker 7: ain't doing nothing for you. That one and one ain't
- 42:33Speaker 7: coming out to be two. Your one and one, your
- 42:35Speaker 7: one plus one is zero.
- 42:38Speaker 1: I like that one.
- 42:40Speaker 7: Show that ain't a negative sign on the plus Yours
- 42:43Speaker 7: is one minus one.
- 42:46Speaker 2: Make sure you got the plus signing now.
- 42:50Speaker 7: All right?
- 42:51Speaker 13: This caller Steve left a message about the would you
- 42:53Speaker 13: rather segment.
- 42:55Speaker 4: See morning show that I'm from Houston, Texas, y'all, man,
- 43:01Speaker 4: I just listened to.
- 43:02Speaker 9: Uh would you rather?
- 43:04Speaker 10: Wife? Seventy five babies diapers for.
- 43:08Speaker 17: Two adults in two days. Man, almost choked.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Food, water, everything, y'all some fools.
- 43:16Speaker 10: Keep it up. Peace.
- 43:19Speaker 1: That's your best compliment, right your favorite man.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Thank you sir.
- 43:25Speaker 7: If you almost choked to death, thank you sir.
- 43:30Speaker 2: You almost was gonna lose your life, Thank you sir.
- 43:36Speaker 7: If you lost what you bought at Starbucks and McDonald's,
- 43:41Speaker 7: thank you, sir.
- 43:42Speaker 13: Coming up next, frank phone call for today from the nephew.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening.
- 43:50Speaker 8: Morning show.
- 43:52Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 43:54Speaker 13: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today and
- 43:57Speaker 13: the subject is low vibrational loving. All right, but right
- 44:00Speaker 13: now it is time for the nephew with today's prank
- 44:05Speaker 13: phone call.
- 44:05Speaker 1: What you got for his nepht I got.
- 44:07Speaker 14: Real stupid today, shirt. I mean, yeah, that other level
- 44:11Speaker 14: of it, you know, that other other level that's right here,
- 44:14Speaker 14: that other leftl what you say, Steve, Okay, just just
- 44:21Speaker 14: listen to my title and tell me, am, I entering
- 44:24Speaker 14: another level of stupid. Here's the type. Can I paint
- 44:29Speaker 14: your wife nick? But not another level?
- 44:34Speaker 12: You was over there yesterday?
- 44:39Speaker 14: Can I paint your wife naked? And I don't see
- 44:43Speaker 14: the big deal.
- 44:44Speaker 7: I don't why y'all keep thanking Steve. Did you just
- 44:49Speaker 7: hear say? This is a new level of stupidity. I
- 44:52Speaker 7: haven't seen it before. What you won't meet it? It's
- 44:56Speaker 7: a new level of stupidity. I haven't seen it before.
- 45:01Speaker 7: Let's see what this is. You know this boy is dumb?
- 45:05Speaker 14: No, no, no, no, I'm not dumb. I'm brilliantly stupid.
- 45:09Speaker 14: And that's a difference thing brilliantly stupid.
- 45:12Speaker 6: Boy.
- 45:13Speaker 2: All right, boy, you really don't know what you just seen.
- 45:19Speaker 2: He just proves your point.
- 45:24Speaker 14: See, the problem is y'all don't know a stupid genius
- 45:27Speaker 14: when y'all see one.
- 45:28Speaker 9: Let's go get though.
- 45:29Speaker 14: Yeah, y'all, hey man, that's all right, come on, come on,
- 45:33Speaker 14: I can be brilliant. I'll be brilliantly stupid by myself
- 45:36Speaker 14: and I'm okay with that.
- 45:37Speaker 9: Let's go get.
- 45:39Speaker 17: Hello.
- 45:40Speaker 16: Hello, I wish to speak with a mister please, Hello, sir.
- 45:46Speaker 16: My name is Sebastian. I am with the Art Institute

- 46:01Speaker 16: But I have one drawing that I am looking to
- 46:03Speaker 16: display that I have not put on canvas yet, and
- 46:07Speaker 16: I'm looking to take something of essence to put on canvas,
- 46:11Speaker 16: and I want to call you about getting permission. Well wait,
- 46:14Speaker 16: hold on, dog, just to stop me right now, I
- 46:16Speaker 16: don't do that. I am not a model. That's not

- 46:21Speaker 16: you know what I'm saying. Just mister, I don't think
- 46:25Speaker 16: you understand that my showing is going to have some

- 46:54Speaker 16: I'm not calling you as for being a model that
- 46:58Speaker 16: I'm going to portray on canvas. But you have something
- 47:01Speaker 16: far more greater visually that I would like to behold
- 47:05Speaker 16: on canvas. Now you're married to your wife, is am I.
- 47:11Speaker 10: Correct the whole world.
- 47:12Speaker 20: World, wol god, No, for who is this seriously?

- 47:22Speaker 16: My name is Sebastian. I am with Art Institute. What

- 47:58Speaker 16: she shops one hundred and twenty fifth Street in hallm
- 48:00Speaker 16: I've seen her so many times there, and she holds
- 48:03Speaker 16: all the beauty that an artist would like to put
- 48:05Speaker 16: on canvas. Like I said before, I have a huge
- 48:08Speaker 16: showing in May. You're welcome to come out as well.
- 48:11Speaker 16: It's gonna be so many important people there. But I

- 53:40Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 53:41Speaker 13: Subject low vibrational loving Dear Stephen Shirley. I am divorced
- 53:46Speaker 13: and I'm dating again. I've gone to counseling to deal
- 53:50Speaker 13: with the baggage that was part of the destruction of
- 53:52Speaker 13: my marriage. So I consider myself healed and I'm ready
- 53:56Speaker 13: to get into a healthy new relationship. But God, really,
- 54:00Speaker 13: he does have a sense of humor. I won on
- 54:02Speaker 13: three horrible dates when I first got back on the
- 54:05Speaker 13: dating scene. I decided to try online dating and I
- 54:08Speaker 13: matched up with a guy that looks great on paper,
- 54:11Speaker 13: but he has some issues with his finances. I don't
- 54:14Speaker 13: mind meeting a man halfway with the bills, but if
- 54:17Speaker 13: I got serious with this guy, I'd have to pay
- 54:19Speaker 13: our bills and his child support. I can't fold a
- 54:23Speaker 13: man for having baggage, but I also don't have to
- 54:26Speaker 13: take on a fixer upper. I just don't think that
- 54:29Speaker 13: God would put me through that again. Been there, done
- 54:32Speaker 13: that with my ex husband. So what's with all the
- 54:36Speaker 13: low vibrational loving with this new generation of men. I'm
- 54:39Speaker 13: thirty four years old, and it's hard to meet a
- 54:42Speaker 13: man in my age range that's successful, that's successful and
- 54:46Speaker 13: ready to settle down. I've been on first dates and
- 54:50Speaker 13: have had to pay for my meal, and the guys
- 54:52Speaker 13: expect me to pursue them. I prefer a strong minded man.
- 54:56Speaker 13: He doesn't have to be rich, but he needs to
- 54:58Speaker 13: have a plan. I work with a few married men
- 55:01Speaker 13: my age and they seem to be on the right path,
- 55:04Speaker 13: so I know good black men are out there. Some
- 55:07Speaker 13: women are accepting low vibrational loving and the bare minimum
- 55:10Speaker 13: from a man, and that makes it hard for women
- 55:13Speaker 13: with higher standards.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I want to meet a.
- 55:15Speaker 13: Man that is on my level, But if I can't,
- 55:18Speaker 13: how do I help guide a man to greatness without
- 55:21Speaker 13: belittling him or making him feel inadequate? Okay, that's a
- 55:26Speaker 13: lot of work right there. I mean a lot. And
- 55:29Speaker 13: it's not your responsibility to fix a man. That's not
- 55:33Speaker 13: your job. But you can encourage him, you can build
- 55:36Speaker 13: him up. You can stroke his ego, that sort of thing.
- 55:39Speaker 13: And it's perfectly fine. In having said all of that,
- 55:42Speaker 13: for you to want what you want out of a man,
- 55:45Speaker 13: that's okay too. It's great that you have higher standards.
- 55:48Speaker 13: I mean, and I could tell you're a good woman
- 55:50Speaker 13: because you care, You've gone to therapy, you've worked on yourself,
- 55:54Speaker 13: You're willing to help you man and elevate him to greatness.
- 55:57Speaker 13: All that is wonderful to you. And there are a
- 56:00Speaker 13: lot of good men out there. But there also are
- 56:05Speaker 13: a lot of to use your term, low vibrational loving
- 56:08Speaker 13: men and women in the world today.
- 56:11Speaker 1: You know that low.
- 56:12Speaker 13: Energy, that sad energy, low self esteem, energy going nowhere,
- 56:18Speaker 13: just bad energy. Okay, But again, there are a lot
- 56:23Speaker 13: of good men out there. If that's all you're running into,
- 56:27Speaker 13: these kind of low vibrational kind of guys, then you're
- 56:30Speaker 13: going to have to do something different than what you've
- 56:32Speaker 13: been doing. You got to change your circle, you know,
- 56:35Speaker 13: go different places, try a new type of dating, app
- 56:38Speaker 13: et cetera. The kind of man you want would not
- 56:41Speaker 13: allow you to pay his child support, let alone dinner
- 56:44Speaker 13: and his bills and all of that. I mean, I
- 56:47Speaker 13: just say, don't give up. You said it in your letter.
- 56:49Speaker 13: There are some good black men out there, so just
- 56:52Speaker 13: be patient, Steve.
- 56:54Speaker 7: Let me just go and get into it. You divorced
- 56:56Speaker 7: and you're dating again, so you have some baggage.
- 56:59Speaker 2: But to the city. Yourself healed after counseling.
- 57:02Speaker 7: But then you say, but God does have a sense
- 57:05Speaker 7: of humor, and God ain't through this though.
- 57:09Speaker 2: See, God gives us all the power of choice.
- 57:13Speaker 7: It is the choices that we make that put us
- 57:16Speaker 7: in a predicaments or situations that we find ourselves in.
- 57:21Speaker 7: God didn't tell you to call either one of these men.
- 57:26Speaker 7: God didn't tell you to pick one of them. You
- 57:28Speaker 7: didn't even ask God. You went on the date app
- 57:32Speaker 7: and you did what you wanted to do.
- 57:34Speaker 2: This is you. God don't have a sense.
- 57:36Speaker 7: Of humor, but he does want to have a relationship
- 57:40Speaker 7: with you where you confide in him about things. Now,
- 57:43Speaker 7: you got over this divorce, which congratulations, and you went
- 57:47Speaker 7: to therapy, so you didn't bring the baggage.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 57:50Speaker 7: Then after you got yourself here, you quit talking to
- 57:52Speaker 7: God because you fixed now, so you ain't asking him
- 57:55Speaker 7: to help you find the man. You went out there
- 57:57Speaker 7: to find one yourself. The Bible says, when a man
- 58:00Speaker 7: find that the wife, he find it the good thing.
- 58:03Speaker 7: So now while you out there husband hunting, good luck.
- 58:07Speaker 7: That ain't what you do. That ain't your job finding
- 58:12Speaker 7: a husband. Lord, have mercy, good luck lady. Anyway, So
- 58:16Speaker 7: you decided to dating app and you've matched up with
- 58:20Speaker 7: a guy that listened to this, that looks great on paper.
- 58:24Speaker 2: But has some issue with his finances. Okay, so what
- 58:27Speaker 2: paper were talking about?
- 58:30Speaker 7: He looked good on the dating app paper, but on
- 58:34Speaker 7: the credit app. We ain't gonna be able to rent
- 58:39Speaker 7: this apartment. He ain't gonna ever get that car, so
- 58:46Speaker 7: we ain't gonna have nowhere to live and we can't
- 58:48Speaker 7: drive off. No, well, well let's see why am I
- 58:53Speaker 7: sitting here talking to him?
- 58:56Speaker 10: Now?
- 58:56Speaker 7: You say I don't mind meeting the man halfway with
- 58:59Speaker 7: the bills. See right there, stop all that. If you're
- 59:03Speaker 7: gonna have high expectations, have them.
- 59:06Speaker 17: Now.
- 59:06Speaker 7: I'm not saying you ain't supposed to chip in, because
- 59:08Speaker 7: that's what a marriage is. It's chipping in. So I
- 59:11Speaker 7: applaud you with your willingness to do that. But you
- 59:14Speaker 7: want to meet him halfway with the bills, But i'd
- 59:20Speaker 7: have to pay our bills and his child support. Really,
- 59:26Speaker 7: that don't sound like fun to me.
- 59:30Speaker 9: Anyway.
- 59:31Speaker 7: But if I got serious with this guy, you'd have
- 59:33Speaker 7: to pay the bills that. I can't fault a man
- 59:35Speaker 7: for having baggage. But I also don't have to take
- 59:37Speaker 7: a fixer upper.
- 59:39Speaker 2: No, you don't.
- 59:40Speaker 7: But when I come back, I will get into this
- 59:43Speaker 7: letter with you. And you said, I just don't think
- 59:46Speaker 7: God will put me through that again. But see, you
- 59:49Speaker 7: didn't ask God about this man, though, dig you you
- 59:52Speaker 7: picked him on your own.
- 59:53Speaker 13: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 59:56Speaker 13: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. The
- 1:00:00Speaker 13: today's Strawberry Letter subject is low vibrational loving.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:09Speaker 13: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:12Speaker 13: The subject low vibrational loving.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: This woman's divorce, got on the dating scene, went to counseling,
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: got herself fixed up. She says, she's healed no baggage
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: from an ex husband, and so she started dating. Met
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: a great guy that looked good on paper, but his
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: finances was raggedy. So the paper she was looking at
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: was the online dating app. Who gonna put some incriminating
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: information on a dating app? Nobody? Everybody looked good on
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: Daton app. Good looking guy, sharp, young, in shape, just
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: like you like it. Yeah, but y'all got some issues
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: with the finances. Now, you don't mind meeting the man halfway?
- 1:00:51Speaker 7: I'd applaud you for that. But if I got serious
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: about this guy to have to pay our bills and
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: his child support. Oh so you got to take care
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: of me. So you got to pay our bills, which
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: means your bills, his bill and his child support.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: How does a good ass dear who signs up for this?
- 1:01:09Speaker 7: But see, you went out husband hunting, and this is
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: what happened when you go husband hunting once again. Like
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: I said before, I know y'all think scriptures is old
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: fashioned and stuff, but this stuff been around for a
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: long time and it still hold true. The Bible says
- 1:01:23Speaker 7: when a man find that the wife, he finds it
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: the good thing. It don't say when a woman go
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: out to find a husband, she can find a good thing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: You are not hunters, is not what you do.
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:01:33Speaker 7: It's okay to put yourself on these apps. It's okay
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: to date, and it's okay, to show them that you're available.
- 1:01:39Speaker 7: But if you're out there hunting for one, that ain't
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: what you do. You're uncomfortable hunting. You don't know how
- 1:01:45Speaker 7: to hunt. Most hunters, if you go to bass Pro Shopping,
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: my favorite store in the world, When you go to
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: Bass Pro Shops, they have a women's section.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: It ain't a big ast the men's section though.
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: Most hunters are men. Women hunt, but most hunters are men.
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: That's some women who are really really great hunters, but
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: the vast majority of men sitting up in them trees,
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: shooting deers and ducks, going bad hunting and wild bowl hunting.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Mostly men. Okay, so here we go.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Now, I don't think God would put me through that
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: again because you don't want to have a fixer upper.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: But you picked this guy, not God.
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: Remember, you didn't go to God for this. You was
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: going to God to get over your husband. Then after
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: that you got healed, you went out there and start
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: making decisions on your own. So now you want to
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: know why God would send you through this, and what's
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: up with all this low vibrational love in this new general.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: I'm thirty four years old and it's hard to meet
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: a man in my age range that's successful and ready
- 1:02:41Speaker 7: to settle down. Right here, it is hard to find
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: a thirty four year old man that's successful. That's a
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: true statement. They are out there, but all the way
- 1:02:52Speaker 7: successful at thirty four. I was nowhere near very successful
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: at thirty four, but I was on my way. I
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: had a plan you may not want to fix or upper.
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: But most men at this level from are just a
- 1:03:08Speaker 7: few decisions away from becoming successful.
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: They need a woman. Most men do.
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: I'm not saying you can't be successful without a woman,
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: because there's a lot of men in the music business
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: and the pro athletes and sign the contract and you
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: can be successful. Hard to be great without a woman,
- 1:03:26Speaker 7: though most great men in history have had women by
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: these side. It's just hard to be great without a man.
- 1:03:32Speaker 7: I ain't got time to explain it to you. Just
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: take my word for it. But now, anyway, thirty four
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: years old, it is hard to find a man that's
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: successful and ready to settle down. Because just like you
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: all have a biological clock that's ticking, and around thirty
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: you want to start having kids and make it all that,
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: we got a financial clock and we don't really get
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: it to ticket until our late twenties and thirties, after
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: we'd have messed up all of our twenties party and
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: hanging out, running around trying to figure it out. So, yes,
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: it's hard, but they are out there. What you need
- 1:04:03Speaker 7: to find is a thirty four year old man that's
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: headed somewhere. He might not be there, but he's headed somewhere.
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: Then you want to attach yourself to that wagon. He
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: may not be a fixer upper, but he needs.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: Some fix it just like you do.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I like that.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: Yeah, everybody needs fixing. Like Marjorie is everything that I'm not.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: She's that.
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: So she helps me be a better version of me
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: because she's what I'm not and I needed that. We're
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: seventeen years in now see, and that's comes from getting somebody.
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: And when she met me, I was successful. I was
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: broken up pretty bad. They had done a number on me,
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: but she came along and came in there and got
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: in the trenches with me and made it work. I've
- 1:04:54Speaker 7: been on first dates and had to pay for my
- 1:04:57Speaker 7: meal and the guys expect me to pursue him. I
- 1:05:00Speaker 7: prefer strong minded man that he don't have to be rich.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: That's good, but he needs to have a plan. That's
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: exactly what I said to you. Well, now you know that,
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: what is you picking these other men? You see what
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: I'm saying. You can't know this and then overlook this.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: Now the dude that needs you to pay his bills
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: and his child support? What plan he got? He just
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: told it to you. I need you to pay these
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: bills and his child's support. You can't hit yourself to
- 1:05:25Speaker 7: that wagon. I work with a few married men and
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: my age, and they seem to be on the right path.
- 1:05:30Speaker 7: So I knew good blinking black men out that they are.
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: Some women are accepting of low income, vibrational bare minimum
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: from a man, and that makes it hard for women
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: with the higher standards.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Know it, don't know it? Don't?
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: You just got to stay away from those types of men.
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: It's easy to find out. I ask some questions anyway,
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: I want to meet a man that's on my level.
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: But if I can't, how do I help guide a
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: man to greatness without belooking him on making him feel inadequate?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: That's an easy question for me to ask. You know
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: how you do that?
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: You don't belittle him and you don't make him feel inadequate.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: Tada.
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: All right, Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve.

- 1:06:31Speaker 8: Listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:34Speaker 13: All right, it is time now for Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:06:37Speaker 13: What you got Junior?
- 1:06:38Speaker 12: Okay, I'm gona tell you, Zach what I guess sure is.
- 1:06:40Speaker 12: The NFL season is here. You know, I'm gonna have
- 1:06:42Speaker 12: him come over. They canna watch the game. But I'm
- 1:06:44Speaker 12: gonna tell you right now. These are the NFL season
- 1:06:47Speaker 12: rules at my house. And I mean this first rule
- 1:06:50Speaker 12: rule number one, two game, maximum game. You gotta watch
- 1:06:53Speaker 12: two gays, then you gotta go.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: You can come and watch the one o'clock game, hey,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: real time one o'clock game, and the four o'clock game.
- 1:07:01Speaker 12: After that seven o'clock you gotta be gone, or you
- 1:07:04Speaker 12: can come at three and leave it ten.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: You ain't here all day though, yes, call her. I'm
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: gonna say, isn't it a Sunday night game.
- 1:07:12Speaker 12: But you gotta come at at three o'clock to catch
- 1:07:15Speaker 12: the Sunday night game. You get to watch the I
- 1:07:17Speaker 12: mean the four o'clock game, and then you can watch
- 1:07:19Speaker 12: the seven o'clock game, which is a Sunday night game.
- 1:07:21Speaker 14: But you get a two game as the first two
- 1:07:24Speaker 14: and be out.
- 1:07:25Speaker 12: You gotta go to hear another one. If I catch asleep,
- 1:07:29Speaker 12: then you gotta leave. Don't bring your marital problems over
- 1:07:32Speaker 12: here for some rest. That's what's wrong, because you ain't
- 1:07:34Speaker 12: getting no rest. No see you coming over here trying
- 1:07:37Speaker 12: to sleep.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: I know what you're doing.
- 1:07:39Speaker 12: You're not finna get that. You're not getting rest over here.
- 1:07:41Speaker 12: You catch asleep, you gotta go. When my team got
- 1:07:44Speaker 12: the ball, I need everybody quiet. Oh yes I am.
- 1:07:49Speaker 12: Don't say nothing. We're struggling as it is. When the
- 1:07:51Speaker 12: Texas got the ball, don't say nothing. We're struggling as
- 1:07:54Speaker 12: it is. I'm to tell her when my team got
- 1:07:57Speaker 12: the ball, everybody got to be quiet here.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, hold on, what Steve hard what yeah?
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: What Texans chances or winning the Super Bowl. There's one
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: in twenty thousand to one in twenty thousand. You're damn right.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: We're gonna be quiet when you get We don't see
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: if you know how.
- 1:08:21Speaker 12: To play, he'll go another you go. Another rule I
- 1:08:25Speaker 12: have in my house in the NFL season, bring what
- 1:08:28Speaker 12: you drank to the house because.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: When you run out, you out.
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:08:32Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm telling you right now, Junior, got something to
- 1:08:35Speaker 12: drink water, go over there and get it out the refrigerator.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Yo, go go ahead, go ahead, like Steve.
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: If you're a Texans fan, you're gonna need to bring
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: a lot of drinks.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: Here we go, here go another route.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Keep your kids at home.
- 1:08:52Speaker 12: This is not a field trip for them to come
- 1:08:54Speaker 12: visit Uncle Junior. Okay, I'll tell you right now. If
- 1:08:57Speaker 12: it's your weekend to keep the kids, your ass can't come.
- 1:08:59Speaker 12: That's all him to watch the gamete.
- 1:09:01Speaker 9: Yeah, can't, can't do that.
- 1:09:03Speaker 3: Go ahead, up.
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: Ain't no need of bringing your kids over there and
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: learn by losing.
- 1:09:10Speaker 12: Okay, youre going another one, and that's one of the rules.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Is very important. Okay.
- 1:09:15Speaker 12: All cell phone call must be taken outside.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Ain't none words than trying to watch the game.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Somebody tell me, yeah was that what?
- 1:09:23Speaker 15: Yeah?
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Man, we're all here, Joe, how right now?
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:09:25Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's okay, a call come through yet
- 1:09:28Speaker 12: not a car.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: We on know call.
- 1:09:31Speaker 21: Go ahead on all right, Junior, they're gonna show you
- 1:09:36Speaker 21: coming up at.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: The top of the hour.
- 1:09:39Speaker 13: Yeah, a person someone needs some social media advice, Steve.
- 1:09:42Speaker 13: Her ex husband is constantly calling her. We'll talk about
- 1:09:45Speaker 13: it right after this.
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:09:52Speaker 13: So Steve Matt from Steve Harvey FM says, I just
- 1:09:56Speaker 13: started seeing a girl and she's absolute magic.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I just love being with her.
- 1:10:01Speaker 13: The only issue so far is how attached she still
- 1:10:05Speaker 13: seems to be with her ex husband. They've been divorced
- 1:10:08Speaker 13: for a year, and every time we go out he's
- 1:10:11Speaker 13: calling her to see how she's doing and how things
- 1:10:13Speaker 13: are going. Sometimes she'll be on the phone for thirty minutes.
- 1:10:17Speaker 13: I don't want to tell her how to live or
- 1:10:19Speaker 13: who she can talk to, but wtf.
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: Yeah, So I think, man, maybe she's still, as you say, attached,
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: and you have the right to ask that, and you
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: could just have it in the form of a conversation,
- 1:10:37Speaker 7: just say, hey, listen, I notice you spent a lot
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: of time talking to your ex.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: I'm really looking for something serious here.
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: I was really trying to find me somebody that you
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: know I could have something real with. I just want
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: to know if that's what you're ready for, if you're
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: not ready to actually date right now, and just tell
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: me that, because I thank you magical, I love you
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: being with you. But I'm really kind of feeling a
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: little bit uneasy because I think you just seemed to
- 1:11:03Speaker 7: me like you might not be ready just for the
- 1:11:05Speaker 7: deal is And just ask her.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Though, and expect her to tell the truth.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Oh, y'all got problem with that?
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: I'm asking.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: It's the question. I mean, y'all are lovers of.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Truth, and so you want her to tell the truth
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to you.
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: Well, you know, I'm just you can ask her, you know. Yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: she's probably gonna lie. Yeah. Now we just cod you know,
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: we got a light now. If they ain't got no kids,
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: I don't know what all.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: Is talking for.
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: Separation anxiety.
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: I'm just calling check on you, see how you're doing.
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: You know, he could still be in love with her, yeah,
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: you know.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all right.
- 1:11:49Speaker 13: Okay, here's another one. We have time for Lasagnya who writes.
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: I work in the small office with eleven other people,
- 1:11:56Speaker 13: five of whom are women. The woman that has the
- 1:11:59Speaker 13: desk next to mine and I are very friendly with
- 1:12:02Speaker 13: one another, and she's super nice, but a bit dizzy.
- 1:12:06Speaker 13: She also dresses very provocative, provocatively, and I know the
- 1:12:10Speaker 13: other people in the office talk about her behind her back.
- 1:12:14Speaker 13: I'm not sure if she really cares, or maybe she's unaware,
- 1:12:17Speaker 13: But I like her enough that I want to try
- 1:12:20Speaker 13: and help her to fit in better.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Is this wrong of me?
- 1:12:24Speaker 13: Should I just let her be who she is and
- 1:12:25Speaker 13: not tell her how other people in our office see her.
- 1:12:28Speaker 13: I wouldn't want to hurt her feelings, but I feel
- 1:12:31Speaker 13: like she needs some guidance.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: Okay, go ahead, go ahead, what go ahead and tell
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: her what you think. Yeah, don't go start guiding. See
- 1:12:41Speaker 7: how that work out for you. You're gonna find out
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: one or two things. What she don't appreciate it, or
- 1:12:49Speaker 7: she don't appreciate you trying to guide her. And you'll
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: know the next day because the outfit will be tighter and.
- 1:12:56Speaker 21: Shall shorter, giving it to the people what they want
- 1:13:05Speaker 21: to have it.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: You don't like what I got on watch, I'm telling you,
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: I'm telling you right now, watch this.
- 1:13:19Speaker 14: Which one said that's what I wanted? I know it
- 1:13:23Speaker 14: ain't Rolando. They've been talking about what I'm wearing. I
- 1:13:25Speaker 14: know it ain't huh. That's who said something about me?
- 1:13:29Speaker 14: Which one was it that said something about what I'm waaring?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Who is though she can't tell you that?
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: Who told her?
- 1:13:37Speaker 14: She the hell in the office then said something about
- 1:13:39Speaker 14: what I'm waining.
- 1:13:42Speaker 13: Well, I mean it is a little you know, sexy
- 1:13:44Speaker 13: for office.
- 1:13:46Speaker 14: A lot of okay, okay, cool, I'm coming to the
- 1:13:48Speaker 14: marrow without my damn brown.
- 1:13:50Speaker 9: That's what I went through them.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Don't be different.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: That's what it is.
- 1:14:02Speaker 14: I ain't gonna be able to get this throng high. No,
- 1:14:04Speaker 14: but watch how ab up when it's throng tomorrow. That's
- 1:14:08Speaker 14: too much.
- 1:14:08Speaker 12: Well for the office at the job, you can talk
- 1:14:13Speaker 12: about what she got home.
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll tell you.
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: We get this team meeting going. I bet you it's
- 1:14:19Speaker 12: gonna be a different conversation. Excuse me, after the stock

- 1:14:40Speaker 1: That's moving.
- 1:14:41Speaker 13: Hurricane Adahlia is a serious storm causing severe flood and
- 1:14:46Speaker 13: wind gus damage. The National Guard has been deployed to Florida,
- 1:14:50Speaker 13: and a state of emergency has been declared in various
- 1:14:53Speaker 13: states in the Southeast. According to NPR, the United States
- 1:14:57Speaker 13: is feeling the effects of climate driven storm. Hotter Earth
- 1:15:01Speaker 13: makes storms more likely to get big and dangerous. The
- 1:15:05Speaker 13: cost of damage from hurricanes is skyrocketed, overwhelmingly, overwhelming emergency agencies,
- 1:15:11Speaker 13: insurance companies, and household budgets, displacing entire neighborhoods and killing people. Remember,
- 1:15:18Speaker 13: scientists recently said that July of this year was the
- 1:15:21Speaker 13: hottest month on Earth.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Ever. Can you imagine that?
- 1:15:25Speaker 16: Ever?
- 1:15:25Speaker 13: Go to Redcross dot org if you want to help
- 1:15:28Speaker 13: and find out how you can help these storm victims. Okay,
- 1:15:32Speaker 13: Redcross dot org. This is the time. This is all
- 1:15:36Speaker 13: into August, Yeah, hurricane season. I will never forget the
- 1:15:40Speaker 13: date of Katrina August twenty eighth.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, never forget that. So we know this is
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: that time.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Of year now.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: Yeah, so climate change.
- 1:15:51Speaker 9: Right after Katrina won to one? Right after that?
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Oh, so many was it Superstorm Sandy? Wasn't Superstorm standy?
- 1:15:58Speaker 17: Oh?
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: In New York, New York? That was a big destructive
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: storm too.
- 1:16:02Speaker 13: So bottom line, y'all listen to local authorities, be prepared evacuate.

- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Right after this?
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:16:25Speaker 13: And it's time now guy for a round it would
- 1:16:27Speaker 13: you rather? Would you rather be poor and live a
- 1:16:30Speaker 13: very peaceful life or would you rather have million millions
- 1:16:34Speaker 13: of dollars and leave it?
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Live a life full of drama? Just drama?
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: I am.
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Hell what what in real time?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Millions make you handle the drama? A little bitter?
- 1:16:54Speaker 9: Over there?
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: Sit they ask down, so when mine they home down?
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Business quick line, We don't even had no damn drumming,
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:17:05Speaker 7: We could just line up the liars and have they
- 1:17:08Speaker 7: ass set on fire. Not like to die, nothing, just
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: have they butt blow torch. That's I don't know nobody
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: that died. But if we could, every time you told
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: a lie about somebody else, Look, if you lying to
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: get yourself out of situation, you.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: Know I fully supported.
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: That one hundred pence sitting behind. You're trying to get
- 1:17:33Speaker 7: out of trouble, not go to jail, save your family,
- 1:17:37Speaker 7: keep from getting busted. I am off of that line.
- 1:17:41Speaker 7: But if you line on somebody else though, blow torch they.
- 1:17:46Speaker 13: Ass tell me and jam, I'm thinking you feel the
- 1:17:52Speaker 13: same way of this one.
- 1:17:53Speaker 14: The same way I ain't taking. I don't want to
- 1:17:55Speaker 14: take the pole route, churt, if I don't have to
- 1:17:57Speaker 14: take the toe.
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: Route, Now take the pole route? Was all right?
- 1:18:09Speaker 13: Would you rather be in your twenties all your life
- 1:18:12Speaker 13: while your spouse keeps growing or would you let your
- 1:18:15Speaker 13: spouse be in their twenties while you are growing old?
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:18:19Speaker 12: And I just grow old because I ain't really like
- 1:18:21Speaker 12: my twenties you're gonna be?
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: If that's yeah? You realize that? Yeah, y'all? What what
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you got Steve Junior?
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: You want the woman to stay in the twenties? And
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: you keep going No.
- 1:18:41Speaker 12: When I was, I ain't had none, unk, I ain't
- 1:18:43Speaker 12: known nothing the hell I'm gonna do with my twenties?
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: Keep what How'm gonna do that?
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Explain me?
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: How'm gonna do that?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: What? What's your choice? What woman?
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Do you know?
- 1:18:55Speaker 7: Mum?
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Hmm, gonna stay with you, gonna leave me?
- 1:19:02Speaker 12: So you just gonna you're gonna stand your Lenny Martin,
- 1:19:06Speaker 12: what's gonna plain is today?
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: Let me tell you something. My nickname was Jack Rabbit Johnson.
- 1:19:18Speaker 9: What to pay something?
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Well, I was something to seeing my spect I'm talking
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: about boy locking lot rip.
- 1:19:33Speaker 13: That's today's rounded. Would you rather coming up in? Forty
- 1:19:36Speaker 13: nine minutes after the hour?
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Our last break of the day got with Steve right
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: after you did.
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:47Speaker 13: All right, guys, here we are last break of the day,
- 1:19:50Speaker 13: last break of the day for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: Today. It's been a good day.
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: Herd M Yes, yeah, So you gotta all listen.
- 1:20:00Speaker 14: Uh, you're all over social media and this and that.
- 1:20:06Speaker 14: Normally when something like this happened, somebody getting ready to
- 1:20:08Speaker 14: drop an album.
- 1:20:09Speaker 9: Are you're finn to drop an album?
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Doct you in the studio?
- 1:20:13Speaker 9: Is that you've been in the studio?
- 1:20:14Speaker 10: Man?
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: That would mean That's an interesting way to look at
- 1:20:17Speaker 7: this because it's like equivalent to.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: What me and my wife was talking about last night.
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: Was it seemed like Steve every time God fitting to
- 1:20:32Speaker 7: drop something.
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: Huge on us. Something comes out to try to distract us.
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: See, so you know, you know you hear like new level,
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: new devil, right, and so it's kind of like that.
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: It's me and Marjorie finning to drop an album.
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: And so.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Up the Lord. Yeah, he the producer on it, Jesus Christ.
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: And I'm telling you, man, I kid, y'all not that's
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: really what my clothes remarks was gonna be about, because
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: it's you know, and it gets kind of hard, like okay,
- 1:21:18Speaker 7: for example, like you noticed the other day, I was
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: telling y'all, I said, this is the first time in
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: my life I've really just stopped trying to figure it
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: out and then gave God the will.
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: And you drive, y'all. Remember he said that.
- 1:21:32Speaker 7: Yeah, And it's really really created a point in my
- 1:21:36Speaker 7: life why I'm not as worrisome about tomorrow because I've
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: just decided I'm gonna let God drive. And part of
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: the prayer was, Lord, help me to trust in your
- 1:21:47Speaker 7: timing more and to and to and to and to
- 1:21:50Speaker 7: lean to your understanding and trusting you and only you.
- 1:21:55Speaker 7: That's what I've been praying for. So you know what
- 1:21:57Speaker 7: God does when you ask him for something, He answers
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: to prayer.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: So then he allows some things.
- 1:22:03Speaker 7: To happen that now requires you to fully trust in him,
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: because this out of my hands, this out of Marjorie's hands,
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: This ain't got nothing to do with us. This is
- 1:22:15Speaker 7: somebody else out there that want his imps. The thing
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: about the devil is man, he got a lot of
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: imps and they busy twenty four seven.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: And so what didn't happen is in asking God.
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: To make sure that I'm more trusting in him and
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: leaning not to my own understanding.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: He allows things to happen and now requires.
- 1:22:40Speaker 7: Us to lean on him more and more, trusting his
- 1:22:45Speaker 7: time and more and more because we can't do nothing
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: about this. And so what stopped me from coming out
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: releasing statements and all this here was I actually saw
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: this God on Instagram and I was thumbing through and
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: he said, Man, when God is sending allowing things to
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: happen in your life, you have to trust him.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: Don't fight back.
- 1:23:11Speaker 7: Let the Lord fight your battles, because in his due
- 1:23:15Speaker 7: time he will refute all of your enemies. And that
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: goes back to Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon formed
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: against me, show prosper and every tongue that has come
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: out against.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: Us will have to be refuted. And you're gonna watch this.
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: So I don't know what album God is doing in
- 1:23:34Speaker 7: our life. I don't know exactly when it's gonna drop.
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: But Stephen Margray Harvey Finish drop a new album and
- 1:23:43Speaker 7: it ain't gonna have no music on it. We're gonna
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: be dancing, but y'all won't be able to hear the music.
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: But we're gonna be dancing. And that is what Tom.
- 1:23:51Speaker 7: I'm glad you asked me that, because that's exactly what's
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: happening in me and my girl's life right now.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: God finish drop an album.
- 1:23:58Speaker 7: So now here comes from because see remember this too now,
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: whenever you ask God for something, God ain't the only
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: one that hear your prayer.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: The devil here it too. And I've said this one
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: hundred times.
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: The devil's job, only mission is to rob you of
- 1:24:14Speaker 7: your destiny. So if he can distract you, throw you
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: off base, cause you to run out in front of it,
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: make statements, get you all involved, make you climb down
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: off the wall. If the devil can rob you of
- 1:24:29Speaker 7: your destiny by stopping your assent by causing you to
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: climb down off the wall and start blogging and replying
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: and all like that. He has now slowed the assent
- 1:24:42Speaker 7: and he's robbing you of your destiny.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Well it's not gonna work.
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: Because me and my girl we pray all the time, man,
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: and so now we actually see what's happening.
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: Now. Do we like it? No? Of course not. Is
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: it aggravating?
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: Of course it is to have people lying about you
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: don't even know you making up stuff and just lying
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: and you know, like they got information that.
- 1:25:09Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: But like Tommy said Stephen margin Finn to drop album
- 1:25:15Speaker 7: produce executive produced by God himself.
