- 0:37Speaker 4: between thirty to fifty million barrels of oil. This could
- 0:41Speaker 4: have huge implications for Venezuela's economy as well as the US.
- 0:46Speaker 4: I'll explain that to you in just a moment. Also,
- 0:50Speaker 4: new warnings for Cuba at this hour coming from the
- 0:53Speaker 4: Trump administration. Is there a very good chance that Cuba
- 0:57Speaker 4: and the dictators there could be in serious trouble? And
- 1:01Speaker 4: is it even spreading after seeing Maduro leave Venezuela in
- 1:05Speaker 4: an American custody, is it inspiring people in Iran to
- 1:10Speaker 4: stand up? To their regime. That's exactly what seems to

- 3:05Speaker 4: with every call you make. It's the forty seven Morning
- 3:07Speaker 4: Update and it starts right now.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Donald Trump has made a major announcement about Venezuela, and
- 3:14Speaker 4: as a taxpayer, you should be very excited about what
- 3:17Speaker 4: I'm about to tell you. He said that Venezuela will
- 3:21Speaker 4: turn over thirty to fifty million barrels of oil to
- 3:25Speaker 4: the United States of America. Donald Trump announcing that the
- 3:29Speaker 4: interim authorities in charge of Venezuela would be giving US
- 3:33Speaker 4: between thirty to fifty million barrels of high quality, sanctioned
- 3:37Speaker 4: oil to the United States. In a post on True
- 3:40Speaker 4: Social Trump explained that the oil would be sold at
- 3:44Speaker 4: its market price and that Trump would ensure the money
- 3:48Speaker 4: from the sales will be used to benefit the people
- 3:51Speaker 4: of Venezuela and the US, saying quote, I'm pleased to
- 3:56Speaker 4: announce that the innim authorities in Venezuela will be turning
- 4:00Speaker 4: over between thirty to fifty million barrels of high quality,
- 4:02Speaker 4: sanctioned all of the United States. This oil will be
- 4:05Speaker 4: sold at its market price, and the money will be
- 4:07Speaker 4: controlled by me, as President of the United States of America,
- 4:11Speaker 4: to ensure it is used to benefit not only the
- 4:14Speaker 4: people Venezuela, which means you and I as taxpayers, do
- 4:18Speaker 4: not have to worry about paying for Venezuela like we
- 4:22Speaker 4: did in Afghanistan in Iraq. He also went on to
- 4:25Speaker 4: say this, I have asked the Energy Secretary, Chris Wright,
- 4:29Speaker 4: to execute this plan immediately. It will be taken by
- 4:32Speaker 4: stored ships and brought directly to unloading docks in the
- 4:35Speaker 4: United States of America. Now after Venezuela's socialist dictator Maduro
- 4:40Speaker 4: and his wife Flores were captured by US military forces.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Trump stated that the US will run everything regarding Venezuela's
- 4:49Speaker 4: oil reserves. It also has been reported that Venezuela, as
- 4:55Speaker 4: of Saturday's oil price, has approximately seventeen point three trillion
- 5:00Speaker 4: in oil reserves, which exceeds the collective global gross domestic
- 5:05Speaker 4: product excluding the United States of America and China. To
- 5:10Speaker 4: put in perspective, this obviously is a major step forward
- 5:14Speaker 4: for the President and also to getting Venezuela back on
- 5:18Speaker 4: its feet and the people there that have been oppressed
- 5:21Speaker 4: by the commist regime for far too long. What they
- 5:24Speaker 4: need economic stability now story number two, What is next
- 5:29Speaker 4: for the Western hemisphere? That is a question that Donald
- 5:32Speaker 4: Trump is answering in real time through his actions instead
- 5:37Speaker 4: of his words. With Maduro's capture, there are now real
- 5:40Speaker 4: speculation among those in Washington that this could be the
- 5:45Speaker 4: beginning of the end for places like Cuba's dictators the
- 5:49Speaker 4: regime there. The House Intelligence Committee chairman going on Fox
- 5:54Speaker 4: News channel to talk about exactly what could be next,
- 5:58Speaker 4: and I want you to listen carefully to what he
- 6:00Speaker 4: had to say about the President also talking about Cuba.
- 6:05Speaker 4: So This will obviously have a lot of a domino
- 6:07Speaker 4: effect in the neighborhood down there.
- 6:10Speaker 5: President Trump and Secretary of Rubio talked about the possibilities
- 6:14Speaker 5: for Cuba. Let's play this clip real quick.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Cuba is going to be something we'll end up talking
- 6:19Speaker 2: about because Cuba is a failing nation right now, very
- 6:22Speaker 2: badly failing nation, and we want to help the people.
- 6:25Speaker 2: If it's very similar in the sense that we want
- 6:27Speaker 2: to help the people in Cuba.
- 6:28Speaker 5: When the president speaks, you should take them seriously. So
- 6:30Speaker 5: it's effice that to say, you know, Cuba is a disaster,
- 6:32Speaker 5: it's it's run by incompetent. See now, men, if I
- 6:36Speaker 5: lived in Havana and I was in the government, I'd
- 6:37Speaker 5: be concerned.
- 6:39Speaker 4: What is Cuba thinking right now?
- 6:40Speaker 6: We're going to We're going to see freedom in liberty
- 6:42Speaker 6: in Cuba. I mean the Cuba is a failed state
- 6:46Speaker 6: that people of Cuba do not like IDAs Canal, they
- 6:49Speaker 6: don't like their government. It was all it's all propped
- 6:52Speaker 6: up with the oil from Venezuela. So Cuba has been
- 6:55Speaker 6: the root of evil. So if you look at this
- 6:58Speaker 6: is an unbelievable opportunity. When Trump finishes this term, I
- 7:02Speaker 6: think all across Latin America see freedom and liberty. We
- 7:06Speaker 6: have a new president in Columbia next year, and I
- 7:10Speaker 6: think the right thing will happen there. I think diascnaw
- 7:13Speaker 6: will be will be gone. So I'm look, I'm excited
- 7:17Speaker 6: for all my friends that have fought all these years
- 7:21Speaker 6: for freedom and liberty and they have not been able
- 7:23Speaker 6: to get a president that would show up and do
- 7:25Speaker 6: the job that needed to be done. And this president
- 7:27Speaker 6: has been willing to do it. So hats off to
- 7:30Speaker 6: Donald Trump.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Senator Rick Scott and what he had to say there,
- 7:32Speaker 4: He's absolutely right, and it brings me the top lawmaker
- 7:35Speaker 4: of the House Intelligence Committee, also saying that he believes
- 7:39Speaker 4: that the weekend capture of Maduro may have a major
- 7:43Speaker 4: domino effect in Cuba. Chairman Rick Crawford, a Republican from Arkansas,
- 7:48Speaker 4: call it the beginning of the end for the regime.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Cuba and Venezuela have had a symbolic relationship for a
- 7:55Speaker 4: long long time. The congressman said, Cuba needs Venezuelan oil.
- 8:00Speaker 4: They no longer have the resources that will be provided
- 8:04Speaker 4: by Venezuela, and that means there are major consequences. According
- 8:10Speaker 4: to Crawford. Venezuela also benefited from the partnership by receiving
- 8:15Speaker 4: medical assistance from Cuba and military protections used by Maduro.
- 8:22Speaker 4: President of Cuba Manuel Diaz, is a one party communist
- 8:25Speaker 4: state that has been long at odds with the United
- 8:28Speaker 4: States of America, and the US has an economic embargo
- 8:32Speaker 4: on the country, restricting exports to and from Cuba, as
- 8:36Speaker 4: well as travel restrictions that limit tourism. Those measures have
- 8:41Speaker 4: been in place now for sixty three years. You go
- 8:45Speaker 4: back to February of nineteen sixty two when President JFK
- 8:49Speaker 4: proclaimed an embargo on trade between the United States and
- 8:51Speaker 4: Cuba and directed the Department of Commerce and the Treasury
- 8:55Speaker 4: to implement the embargo, which literally remains in place today.
- 8:59Speaker 4: The state harm and saying that on its own website,
- 9:02Speaker 4: which brings us to the bigger question that Crawford brought up.
- 9:06Speaker 4: He said, quote, you may very well see a very
- 9:08Speaker 4: popular uprising there. There's a lot of connective tissue. We have, really,
- 9:14Speaker 4: for a lack of a better term, we have a
- 9:17Speaker 4: familiar bond with Cuba. We have so many families in
- 9:21Speaker 4: South Florida that are directly connected to family members in Cuba.
- 9:26Speaker 4: That remittances are a big part of their economy. They
- 9:29Speaker 4: rely on the United States of America, whether they want
- 9:33Speaker 4: to admit it or not, We can play an outsized
- 9:36Speaker 4: role there in influencing those folks and helping them to organize,
- 9:40Speaker 4: to rise up and help overcome the oppressive, to help
- 9:43Speaker 4: overcome that oppressive regime. Now, Congressman Crawford isn't the only
- 9:49Speaker 4: one talking about how there could be a major domino
- 9:51Speaker 4: effect when it comes to Venezuela and now in other
- 9:54Speaker 4: parts of Latin America. The White House saying they believe
- 9:57Speaker 4: that this could certainly move us in the right direction
- 10:01Speaker 4: and inspire others to stand up to the regimes, whether
- 10:04Speaker 4: it's Columbia or Cuba. There are several other countries now
- 10:08Speaker 4: where there's real problems on the ground for the dictators,
- 10:12Speaker 4: including even Iran, which makes this part of the conversation
- 10:16Speaker 4: even more interesting. We're now hearing a new chant coming
- 10:20Speaker 4: out of Iran. Usually you hear the chant of death
- 10:23Speaker 4: to America. Right now, the protests are continuing across Iran,
- 10:28Speaker 4: and now the protests are calling for quote death to
- 10:32Speaker 4: the dictator, not to America. The protests against the Iranian
- 10:38Speaker 4: regime has now spread to most of Iran's thirty one
- 10:42Speaker 4: provinces as of Tuesday, including cities that have long been
- 10:47Speaker 4: seen as firmly loyal to the Ayatola. The current movement
- 10:51Speaker 4: is arguably larger than the Women Life and Freedom uprising
- 10:57Speaker 4: that really shook the regime to its core in twenty
- 11:00Speaker 4: twenty two, and today's demonstrations are now showing no sign
- 11:04Speaker 4: of backing down in the face of the brutal repression.
- 11:09Speaker 4: The BBC cited video confirming massive protests in seventeen provinces,
- 11:15Speaker 4: plus reports of demonstrations in eleven more verified Video footage
- 11:21Speaker 4: of anti government demonstrations was posted from over fifty Iranian
- 11:26Speaker 4: towns and cities, including the Holy Cities as well, which
- 11:30Speaker 4: have previously been strongholds for the theocracy. Outside analysts said
- 11:35Speaker 4: these surprising size and the persistence of the protests in
- 11:40Speaker 4: the regime's political fortress cities was a sign that even
- 11:43Speaker 4: the Iatola's hardcore supporters are abandoning him in the face
- 11:48Speaker 4: of rank incompetence and most importantly, massive economic collapse. The
- 11:54Speaker 4: regime seems reluctant to indulge in the kind of bloody
- 11:58Speaker 4: crackdown that snuffed out the Women, Life and Freedom movement,
- 12:02Speaker 4: the protests after Iran's humiliating defeat by Israel and the
- 12:07Speaker 4: United States in the summer of twenty twenty five, as
- 12:10Speaker 4: well as the uprising after the rigged elections in nine.
- 12:14Speaker 4: The Iranian regime is also attempting a difficult political balancing
- 12:18Speaker 4: act by separating demonstrators with legitimate grievances from the rioters
- 12:24Speaker 4: who are supposedly acting on behalf of the United States
- 12:27Speaker 4: and European powers they claim, and all out bloodbath would
- 12:31Speaker 4: make it very difficult for the regime to pretend it
- 12:34Speaker 4: has sympathies and concerns for the Iranian people, which now
- 12:39Speaker 4: brings us to the President's promise if Iran does go
- 12:42Speaker 4: after the protesters, then America will step up, and that
- 12:46Speaker 4: seems to be giving cover for freedom for the people
- 12:49Speaker 4: of Iran to actually rise up against another regime.
