- 0:00Speaker 1: Let's do a preview of the state of the Union
- 0:02Speaker 1: and how to actually watch this thing. There are going
- 0:05Speaker 1: to be some big lies tonight, and we can pretty
- 0:08Speaker 1: much predict what they're going to be because they've been
- 0:10Speaker 1: rolling these out there. So we're gonna start at the
- 0:12Speaker 1: top of the list. Top of the list is going
- 0:15Speaker 1: to be the issue of inflation. Joe Biden is going
- 0:19Speaker 1: to try to sell you tonight that he actually inherited inflation.
- 0:23Speaker 1: That will be part of this Day of the Union.
- 0:26Speaker 1: So is that true or is it false? Let's fact
- 0:31Speaker 1: check it. I want to take you back to the
- 0:33Speaker 1: middle of July of last year when things we're really
- 0:37Speaker 1: getting out of control with inflation. Now that inflation is
- 0:40Speaker 1: kind of set in and things are still bad, Americans
- 0:45Speaker 1: have been feeling the heat of what I refer to
- 0:47Speaker 1: as Biden inflation. Prices increase from June twenty twenty one
- 0:53Speaker 1: to June twenty twenty two by nine point one percent.
- 0:57Speaker 1: That is not inherited from Donald Trump. And this is
- 0:59Speaker 1: the reason why I'm going back to June and July
- 1:01Speaker 1: so you understand how much of this inflation was caused
- 1:04Speaker 1: by the President of the United States of America. Last
- 1:08Speaker 1: June's prices were already five point four percent higher than
- 1:12Speaker 1: the year before that it went again. Joe Biden was
- 1:15Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America, so not
- 1:18Speaker 1: only a year over year did inflation skyrocket, but month
- 1:21Speaker 1: over month it was skyrocketing during his administration. There was
- 1:26Speaker 1: a year under Biden of soaring prices that have destroyed
- 1:30Speaker 1: families budgets and force them to make tough choices. In
- 1:34Speaker 1: a recent survey, nearly seventy percent of Americans said they're
- 1:39Speaker 1: having to dip into savings to make ends meet. They
- 1:43Speaker 1: said the financial strain is particularly acute for low income households,
- 1:48Speaker 1: and the newest data yet President Biden is refusing to
- 1:52Speaker 1: accept responsibility for the role the Democrats two trillion dollars
- 1:58Speaker 1: spending spree right when he got into office, saying it
- 2:01Speaker 1: was in the name of COVID and the American Recovery Act,
- 2:05Speaker 1: right was what kicked inflation into a steep climb. He
- 2:10Speaker 1: also has chided those who were begging him to pump
- 2:15Speaker 1: the brakes on another round of reckless spending when they
- 2:18Speaker 1: was said when they went through that second round of
- 2:21Speaker 1: trillion dollars spending, he said, quote, we're changing people's lives.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And that's true, not for the better, but for the worse.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Americans across the country comparing their monthly expenses to their
- 2:33Speaker 1: bills from this time last year will confirm to you
- 2:38Speaker 1: that this bold pronouncement is in fact true. What is up. Rent, food, gasoline, electricity,
- 2:46Speaker 1: and everything else costs far more today. There's no disputing it.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Biden inflation is, to quote the present, changing americans lives.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Let me just tell you how it looks around the country,
- 2:59Speaker 1: because this is going to be a local issue for
- 3:02Speaker 1: many Americans. If you live in Georgia, for example, right now,
- 3:07Speaker 1: a couple in Georgia needs one hundred and sixty one
- 3:10Speaker 1: dollars more per month just for gasoline because of Joe
- 3:14Speaker 1: Biden's policies canceling the Keystone Pipeline and many other things.
- 3:19Speaker 1: A retired couple in New England, for example, needs twenty
- 3:24Speaker 1: seven dollars more a month just for electricity alone. If
- 3:27Speaker 1: you're in a fixed income, that's real money. Young professionals,
- 3:31Speaker 1: for example, in Phoenix, need two hundred and fifty eight
- 3:35Speaker 1: dollars more a month just to cover the increase and
- 3:39Speaker 1: rent since Biden has become president. And if you are
- 3:43Speaker 1: a parent of three in the US, you're gonna need
- 3:47Speaker 1: at least two hundred and seventy dollars more per month
- 3:50Speaker 1: to feed your family. And that's not including what it
- 3:53Speaker 1: costs to eat out right now. So as bidenflation changing
- 3:57Speaker 1: people's lives, you better believe it is the President taking
- 4:00Speaker 1: responsibility for it. Let's go back to February the third,
- 4:04Speaker 1: when he talked about jobs for Americans. This is what
- 4:07Speaker 1: the President had to say to you. Take any president,
- 4:13Speaker 1: I'm taking blame for inflation. No, why not? Because it
- 4:16Speaker 1: was already there when I got here. Man, Remember what
- 4:18Speaker 1: the economy was like when I got here. Jobs were hemorrhage,
- 4:23Speaker 1: inflation was rising. We weren't manufacturing and damping here. We
- 4:27Speaker 1: were in real economic difficulty. That's why I don't so
- 4:31Speaker 1: everything that the President just said, they're a lie, making
- 4:34Speaker 1: it up. And notice how he said thank you, and
- 4:35Speaker 1: then he walked out and didn't allow for any follow
- 4:38Speaker 1: up questions on the lie that he just told. Tim Scott.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Talking about Biden's stay of the Union, he said, it's
- 4:45Speaker 1: time for the president to include an apology for not
- 4:48Speaker 1: just record breaking crime, but also inflation and the crisis
- 4:52Speaker 1: at the border. I think you'll hear a lot of
- 4:54Speaker 1: glossing over of the real issues that the American people
- 4:57Speaker 1: are suffering through. If we were going to hear some
- 5:00Speaker 1: thing authentic from the President Biden, it would be American people.
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I apologize for a record breaking crime, record
- 5:07Speaker 1: breaking inflation, and record breaking border crossings. What I anticipate, however,
- 5:13Speaker 1: is he will talk about nothing for as long as
- 5:15Speaker 1: himily possible and stop talking. What do the American people deserve.
- 5:20Speaker 1: They deserve to be inspired, they deserve to be encouraged.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I agree with that. Biden, however, saying back in January,
- 5:28Speaker 1: costs are coming down with a big billboard behind him.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Of that, here's what he said about inflation, and of
- 5:34Speaker 1: course he didn't cause even though he actually did. And
- 5:37Speaker 1: as inflation is coming down, take home pay for workers
- 5:41Speaker 1: is going up. Workers' wages are higher now than they
- 5:44Speaker 1: were seven months ago, adjustice for inflation. By the way,
- 5:48Speaker 1: talk to the average American worker. They'll also tell you
- 5:50Speaker 1: that what the President just said, there is also a
- 5:52Speaker 1: lie center Coons talking about the Inflation Reduction Act, investing
- 5:59Speaker 1: in clean energy and will benefit the whole world. That
- 6:02Speaker 1: was at the World Economic Forum, as they were trying
- 6:05Speaker 1: to sell you on the Inflation Reduction Act when we
- 6:09Speaker 1: all knew what was really in it, more than fifty
- 6:10Speaker 1: percent of spending debt with green and alternative energy. At
- 6:14Speaker 1: the World Economic Forum, Chris Coons told the truth about
- 6:17Speaker 1: inflation in the presence demise of this country. Chris cons Senator,
- 6:25Speaker 1: we know the US is still the largest economy of
- 6:29Speaker 1: the world. What you're hearing also, Managing Director of IMF,
- 6:33Speaker 1: is saying here that a bit of near shoring to
- 6:38Speaker 1: avoid this notion of just in time and a little
- 6:44Speaker 1: bit more just in case, building a little bit resilience
- 6:48Speaker 1: is fine. But if we go too much into this
- 6:53Speaker 1: notion of friend shoring or more protectionist measures, if you
- 6:56Speaker 1: can shave off a lot of growth, globe, boy, we
- 7:01Speaker 1: know that there is there is a new house. There
- 7:06Speaker 1: is also partially a new Senate. How far will the
- 7:12Speaker 1: US go in front shoring making sure that things goes
- 7:16Speaker 1: to Mexico and countries that you're allied? Would do you
- 7:21Speaker 1: see the point of the IMF Managing director, And how
- 7:25Speaker 1: will the US balance this to make sure that we
- 7:28Speaker 1: also will have growth in the earths to come, and
- 7:29Speaker 1: this will be a various shallow recession of a recession
- 7:32Speaker 1: at all. Look, thank you, thank you for your comments
- 7:35Speaker 1: and the opportunity. I do think that American leaders and
- 7:38Speaker 1: business leaders in particular recognize that the severe disruptions of
- 7:43Speaker 1: the pandemic and some of the challenges of the reach
- 7:47Speaker 1: and the scope of globalization that have caused a backlash
- 7:51Speaker 1: in many of our countries, a populist backlash, certainly in
- 7:54Speaker 1: the United States, need to be addressed. One of the
- 7:56Speaker 1: ways to deal with some of our challenges in terms
- 8:00Speaker 1: of the hemisphere and migration also is to do some
- 8:02Speaker 1: near shoring to improve the job opportunities in Central America,
- 8:07Speaker 1: for example. But I don't think it will be as
- 8:10Speaker 1: robust as potentially projected. I do think that we will
- 8:14Speaker 1: continue to have an open economy, to be committed to
- 8:18Speaker 1: free trade and to see the robust value that globalization
- 8:22Speaker 1: has brought to the world as well as to many
- 8:24Speaker 1: of our people. Isn't that nice globalization to the world
- 8:28Speaker 1: and the Clean Energy Act will benefit the whole world.
- 8:32Speaker 1: So we're passing a inflation reduction Act that really isn't
- 8:36Speaker 1: dealing with inflation. We lied to you to get it passed,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and now we're telling you that it's for the good
- 8:43Speaker 1: of the whole world that we did this would create green,
- 8:47Speaker 1: clean alternative energy. Now after they pass this is when
- 8:51Speaker 1: they tell you the truth. At the World Economic Forum,
- 8:55Speaker 1: Chris Coon's one of the top GUIDs in the Democratic
- 8:57Speaker 1: Party being honest about this. So when you hear the
- 9:00Speaker 1: present tonight say oh, I'm the one, right, I'm the one.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I'm the guy who who you know is saving you
- 9:11Speaker 1: from inflation, when the reality is Inflation Reduction Act is
- 9:16Speaker 1: a lie and he caused inflation. Know that he's lying
- 9:20Speaker 1: to you, and hear the facts. Why lie Number two
- 9:23Speaker 1: that Joe Biden's going to tell you tonight is that
- 9:26Speaker 1: real wages are actually up. That is also a lie.
- 9:30Speaker 1: How do we know that? Well, Number one, let's go
- 9:34Speaker 1: back to the issue of inflation. Inflation was at one
- 9:37Speaker 1: point four percent when Biden took office on January the twentieth,
- 9:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty one. The number, I'll say it again, one
- 9:45Speaker 1: point four percent. Yes, wages have gone up. I'm a
- 9:49Speaker 1: small business owner. I understand that wages have gone up
- 9:52Speaker 1: for some, but real wages are actually lower today than
- 9:56Speaker 1: they were in December of twenty nineteen for all most
- 10:00Speaker 1: every single industry. How do we know that. Well, let's
- 10:04Speaker 1: talk again. Let's talk about the data. You look at
- 10:08Speaker 1: the wages now and you see the wages that we
- 10:12Speaker 1: have in this country right now. If you go category
- 10:16Speaker 1: by category, industry by industry, what you will notice is
- 10:22Speaker 1: at the jobs right now in this country across the board,
- 10:27Speaker 1: no matter what your quote, increase in pay is. Inflation
- 10:30Speaker 1: is eating up. Let's look at those goods in producing
- 10:36Speaker 1: grow since the growth since twenty nineteen has actually been
- 10:41Speaker 1: at negative one percent, what is normal growth in that
- 10:44Speaker 1: industry and wages three point eight percent? So what does
- 10:48Speaker 1: that mean? Well, if you look at the difference from
- 10:51Speaker 1: pre pandemic trend, it gets even worse. The normal would
- 10:55Speaker 1: be two point one percent increase, and goods in producing
- 10:59Speaker 1: salaries it is actually down six point six percent. Construction
- 11:03Speaker 1: difference from pre pandemic trend down seven point two percent.
- 11:06Speaker 1: In your buying power, manufacturing down six point one percent,
- 11:10Speaker 1: Private services provided down four point seven percent in that category,
- 11:14Speaker 1: trade transportation utilities down four point seven percent, hostale trade
- 11:19Speaker 1: down three point eight percent, retail trade three point one percent.
- 11:23Speaker 1: But this is when it gets even worse. Transportation warehousing
- 11:27Speaker 1: is down nine point one percent compared to what it
- 11:29Speaker 1: costs you in that industry. Utilities not eight point one percent, down,
- 11:34Speaker 1: information technologies five point six percent, down, financial activities five
- 11:39Speaker 1: point three percent down, professional and business services down five
- 11:43Speaker 1: point four percent, and education and health services down four
- 11:46Speaker 1: point four percent. What does this mean, Well, overall, if
- 11:50Speaker 1: you look at any other services, the average is down
- 11:53Speaker 1: five percent and real buying power since this guy became president,
- 11:59Speaker 1: real wages are lower today than they were in December
- 12:01Speaker 1: of twenty nineteen for every industry except retail, trade in leisure,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and hospitality, and there below the trend in every industry
- 12:10Speaker 1: at the same time, this president should go down as
- 12:14Speaker 1: the absolute worst present the history of modern political times
- 12:17Speaker 1: when it comes to the economy. This is what you
- 12:21Speaker 1: need to understand. This is not a joke. And when
- 12:24Speaker 1: they try to sell you that things are better, it
- 12:26Speaker 1: is not better. In fact, right now, there is a
- 12:30Speaker 1: new poll out that says sixty four percent of Americans
- 12:34Speaker 1: are now living paycheck to paycheck. It is a near
- 12:38Speaker 1: all time high. That is coming from CNBC. Living from
- 12:44Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck sixty four percent. Let's go to the
- 12:49Speaker 1: article from CNBC. So when he tells you that wages
- 12:52Speaker 1: are up as the cost of living is surged in
- 12:55Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. Again, that's only under Biden. You can't
- 12:58Speaker 1: say you inherited that from Trump. The number of Americans
- 13:01Speaker 1: living paycheck to paycheck is skyrocketed to eighty four excuse me,
- 13:04Speaker 1: sixty four percent of December, according to the new recent
- 13:06Speaker 1: polling number. You compare that with twenty twenty one, there
- 13:10Speaker 1: were nine point three million more Americans that said they
- 13:13Speaker 1: are stretched too thin. Again, you cannot blame that on
- 13:16Speaker 1: something you inherited from Donald Trump. Months of high inflation,
- 13:20Speaker 1: CNBC rights have weighed heavily on households. As of December,
- 13:26Speaker 1: sixty four percent of Americans or living paycheck to paycheck,
- 13:29Speaker 1: according to the recent Lending Club report. That's up from
- 13:32Speaker 1: sixty one percent a year earlier, meaning things are getting worse.
- 13:36Speaker 1: It's also in line with the historic high first hit
- 13:40Speaker 1: in March of twenty twenty. For the first time, more
- 13:43Speaker 1: than half of all six figure earners also say they
- 13:47Speaker 1: were stretched too thin. That is a jump from forty
- 13:50Speaker 1: two percent a year ago. Quote. The effects of inflation
- 13:54Speaker 1: are eating into every American's wallets, and as the Fed's
- 13:59Speaker 1: effort to heurb inflation drive up the cost of debt,
- 14:03Speaker 1: we are seeing near record numbers of Americans living paycheck
- 14:06Speaker 1: to paycheck. For its part, the Federal Reserve is widely
- 14:11Speaker 1: expected to announce its eighth consecutive rate hike at this
- 14:15Speaker 1: week's policy meeting. Even though wage growth is high by
- 14:19Speaker 1: historical standards, it isn't keeping up with the increased costs
- 14:24Speaker 1: of living, which in December was up six point five
- 14:28Speaker 1: percent from the prior year. That leaves many Americans in
- 14:31Speaker 1: a bind as inflation and higher prices force more people
- 14:34Speaker 1: to dip into their cash reserves or lean on credit,
- 14:38Speaker 1: just when interest rates rise at the fastest pace in decades.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Other reports also show financial wellbeing is deteriorating overall. One
- 14:50Speaker 1: of these suggestions from CNBC because where we are in
- 14:53Speaker 1: the economy created by Joe Biden. Number one, cut spending. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 1: they said you're gonna have to cut spending. Number two,
- 15:02Speaker 1: they say you must put money away, and you need
- 15:05Speaker 1: to do that no matter how tight things are right now,
- 15:07Speaker 1: because you're gonna need it in the future. CNBC is
- 15:11Speaker 1: telling you now that sixty four percent Americans are living
- 15:14Speaker 1: paycheck to paycheck, and more than fifty percent of those
- 15:17Speaker 1: who makes six figures or more, saying that they're struggling
- 15:19Speaker 1: right now economically. So when the President comes out and
- 15:23Speaker 1: tells YO wages are up and to say the union again,
- 15:26Speaker 1: he's lying to you. He's full of crap. This is
- 15:30Speaker 1: total crap. Okay, I don't know any other way to
- 15:35Speaker 1: describe it. It is total crap. The media, by the way,
- 15:42Speaker 1: should fact check all this heavily. The media should be
- 15:49Speaker 1: very clear about the truth being told. They're not going
- 15:53Speaker 1: to fact check this, They're gonna keep putting out the propaganda.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Biden says his inflation has grown, take home pay workers
- 16:02Speaker 1: is going up. I want you to remember this because
- 16:04Speaker 1: this is what he's going to say again tonight. You
- 16:06Speaker 1: need to know it's a lie. And as inflation is
- 16:08Speaker 1: coming down, take home pay for workers is going up. Workers'
- 16:12Speaker 1: wages are higher now than they were seven months ago,
- 16:15Speaker 1: adjustice for inflation. That's just a lie. He's lying to you,
- 16:20Speaker 1: and everybody knows it. Biden also has made it clear
- 16:25Speaker 1: and he said he as he said he will whisper
- 16:27Speaker 1: that he'll veto Republican bills because they will make inflation work.
- 16:31Speaker 1: He's going to tell you the Republicans are trying to
- 16:33Speaker 1: make the economy worse. That's also lie. Plus House Republicans
- 16:36Speaker 1: in introduced another bill blocking action that would help lower
- 16:41Speaker 1: gas prices and help consumers. And on top of that,
- 16:44Speaker 1: House Republicans are preparing to vote on a national sales
- 16:48Speaker 1: tax bill, National Sales Tax. That's a great idea. It
- 16:52Speaker 1: would raise taxes on the moon class by taxing thousands
- 16:55Speaker 1: of every day and some groceries to gas, while cutting
- 16:58Speaker 1: taxes for the wealthy Americans. And if I'm not mistaken
- 17:02Speaker 1: what they've introduced, it also would totally eliminate the irs.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Feels good, except all gonna be sales tax. Go home
- 17:10Speaker 1: and tell your moms. They're going to be really excited
- 17:12Speaker 1: about that. Come on, Is this how the House Republicans
- 17:16Speaker 1: are starting a new term, cutting taxes for billionaires, raising
- 17:21Speaker 1: taxes for working families, making inflation worse. Will let me
- 17:26Speaker 1: be very clear, if any of these bills make it
- 17:28Speaker 1: to my desk, I will veto them. I will flat
- 17:33Speaker 1: veto Now there's the creepy whisperer in chief whispering to you.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I will veto them. You're gonna hear this propaganda again tonight.
- 17:44Speaker 1: They're gonna he's gonna go over this and he's gonna
- 17:46Speaker 1: keep playing these hits. He's going to tell you the
- 17:49Speaker 1: Republicans are trying to destroy your life. He's going to
- 17:52Speaker 1: tell you that they are going to ruin everything in
- 17:54Speaker 1: this country, as they have single handedly done all of this.
- 17:59Speaker 1: They have ruined and all of it with their policies,
- 18:03Speaker 1: passing an inflation Reduction Act. Okay, that is clearly not
- 18:08Speaker 1: an inflation reduction Act. Lying to you, it was a
- 18:12Speaker 1: Green New Deal under a different name. They lied to you.
- 18:17Speaker 1: One of the big lies he's going to talk about
- 18:19Speaker 1: is also gas prices, claiming that he is bringing gas
- 18:23Speaker 1: prices down. Have gas prices come down from their highs? Yes?
- 18:28Speaker 1: Did he inherit that from Donald Trump? No? Are they
- 18:31Speaker 1: still significantly higher than they were when he became president?
- 18:36Speaker 1: The answer is yes. Let me remind you of last summer,
- 18:39Speaker 1: and there's a very good chance that last summer's prices
- 18:42Speaker 1: we could hit those record highs again. Here is what
- 18:45Speaker 1: happened in June, gas prices hitting another record today, with
- 18:51Speaker 1: the national average now up to four dollars and eighty
- 18:53Speaker 1: six cents a gallon. That's up more than a dollar
- 18:56Speaker 1: eighty since this time last year. Prices have now more
- 18:58Speaker 1: than doubled since prices and Biden took office. Kelly O.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Grady of Fox Business, She's live in Los Angeles. What
- 19:04Speaker 1: I know it's even higher there, Kelly, Oh, it definitely is.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You can see the price over my shoulder. Dana. You know,
- 19:11Speaker 1: with hit record highs twenty seven of the last twenty
- 19:14Speaker 1: eight days. Today marks the tenth straight day in a row.
- 19:17Speaker 1: And you know, with the national average eight cents higher
- 19:19Speaker 1: than double the price when President Biden took office. That
- 19:22Speaker 1: means you're averaging about thirty four dollars extra every time
- 19:25Speaker 1: you fill up. Every time you fill up. That means
- 19:31Speaker 1: you're averaging about thirty four dollars extra every time you
- 19:36Speaker 1: fill up on average. Did it get better after that? No,
- 19:40Speaker 1: it actually got worse. A month later, CNN telling you
- 19:43Speaker 1: about Independence Day drivers from skies to the roads. Millions
- 19:48Speaker 1: are expected to drive somewhere this holiday weekend. According to
- 19:51Speaker 1: Triple A Drivers, we'll see the highest gas prices in
- 19:53Speaker 1: seven years. Adrian brought us as live in Chicago. Adrian,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you're near a gas station right now. What are you seeing?
- 20:00Speaker 1: What a driver's telling you? Hey, good morning to you, Jim.
- 20:04Speaker 1: We're seeing folks who fill up at this station in
- 20:07Speaker 1: Chicago are going to pay a little bit higher than
- 20:10Speaker 1: the national average to fill up here. Get ready for it.
- 20:14Speaker 1: It's gonna cost you about four dollars a gallon. These
- 20:17Speaker 1: are prices we haven't seen, as you mentioned, in seven years.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It's a record this holiday, and not only this holiday,
- 20:26Speaker 1: the travel for this holiday also beats the record we
- 20:29Speaker 1: saw in twenty nineteen. That's according to Triple A. That's
- 20:35Speaker 1: according to Triple A. So you can't say it's bias. Folks.
- 20:41Speaker 1: That was Independence Day. Oh, don't worry, it gets better.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Democrats start to say, well, things are getting better. Secretary
- 20:50Speaker 1: Grahamhall bragged about gas prices they actually remained high, claiming,
- 20:55Speaker 1: oh no, no, they've come down from our hives. The
- 20:58Speaker 1: average price of a gallon of gas is now down
- 21:01Speaker 1: about a dollar sixty from last summer's peak, but at
- 21:05Speaker 1: thirty percent decline, thirty percent decline from the all time high.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So are you paying more now than you were when
- 21:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden became president? Yeah? How much more? Oh? At
- 21:14Speaker 1: least a dollar dollar fifty? Gas prices are skyrocketing, And
- 21:19Speaker 1: the Secretary says, well, gas prices remain high, but they're
- 21:24Speaker 1: lower than they were when we were really screwing you.
- 21:27Speaker 1: In the middle of the summer, CNN talking about gas
- 21:33Speaker 1: prices and how much of an impact they're having on
- 21:35Speaker 1: the economy as a whole. Listen to this. This inflation peaked.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Is that look in terms of gas prices in the
- 21:41Speaker 1: near term, Yes, I mean you had more than five
- 21:42Speaker 1: dollars a gallon this summer and we are far far
- 21:45Speaker 1: from that. Just in the last month, forty seven cents
- 21:47Speaker 1: has come off a gallon of gasoline. So let me
- 21:49Speaker 1: put that into a real perspective here. If you have
- 21:52Speaker 1: an SUV and you're filling it up, it's about ten
- 21:55Speaker 1: bucks less today than it was last month. So that's
- 21:58Speaker 1: a noticeable amount. Here, a couple of things going. You
- 22:01Speaker 1: had some refineries that were off. By the way, let's
- 22:03Speaker 1: just talk about CNN math for a second. Where was
- 22:06Speaker 1: gas when Donald Trump left office? About a dollar eighty
- 22:11Speaker 1: five a gallon. Okay, January of twenty twenty one, when
- 22:17Speaker 1: he left office, we were about a dollar eighty five
- 22:19Speaker 1: a gallon. Biden takes office and we start jumping to
- 22:25Speaker 1: two forty six a gallon. Six months later, we're at
- 22:28Speaker 1: three fifty four a gallon. A year after he took office,
- 22:31Speaker 1: we're at five dollars and two cents a gallon. And
- 22:34Speaker 1: now what they want to do is they want to play.
- 22:36Speaker 1: What I refer to is and I say this jokingly,
- 22:39Speaker 1: so ladies, don't take offense this, but I call this
- 22:42Speaker 1: wife math. Honey, I saved you seventy five dollars. No,
- 22:49Speaker 1: you spent two hundred and eighty five dollars. No, but
- 22:51Speaker 1: I saved you seventy five. No, you didn't save me
- 22:54Speaker 1: seventy five. Right, Yes, I know it's on sale. That's great,
- 22:56Speaker 1: but you didn't save me any money. You spent money.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That's the same logic the White House is using right now.
- 23:03Speaker 1: They're like, well, hey, it was at five dollars a gallon,
- 23:06Speaker 1: which we created, but now we're down to three fifty
- 23:10Speaker 1: or three twenty five or three dollars, so we saved
- 23:13Speaker 1: you money, which is again totally insane. It's totally psychotic
- 23:21Speaker 1: the logic here. And they go on to try to
- 23:22Speaker 1: sell you this. I'm standing it all morning. Long hairs
- 23:26Speaker 1: and are online now. So they're refining a little bit
- 23:28Speaker 1: more gas. But also you have these concerns about COVID
- 23:31Speaker 1: shutdowns in China. China's using less petroleum, right so the
- 23:35Speaker 1: whole worldwide market of gas and oil, there's a little
- 23:38Speaker 1: bit less demand. There's some concerns about slowing demand in
- 23:41Speaker 1: the US next year, so futures markets have been a
- 23:44Speaker 1: little bit cool. But this is all good news for
- 23:46Speaker 1: anybody who's filling up at the guesting which they sunsk you,
- 23:48Speaker 1: because a huge part of this and the White House
- 23:51Speaker 1: every day is tracking these gas prices. We know that
- 23:53Speaker 1: the Chief staff Rounclane's getting up, was getting up at
- 23:56Speaker 1: three am to check the gas prices. And they mutated
- 23:58Speaker 1: a big question, by the way, a may you believe
- 24:00Speaker 1: that propaganda? We know the chief staff is waking at
- 24:03Speaker 1: three a m To get the gas prices. I don't
- 24:05Speaker 1: buy that for a second. I think they're totally full
- 24:07Speaker 1: of crap. This idea that you're setting an alarm to
- 24:10Speaker 1: wake up at three am to check the gas prices.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Why couldn't you check them at five am or six
- 24:16Speaker 1: am when you wake up, or seven am. And the
- 24:18Speaker 1: idea that you're waking up at three am. The White
- 24:20Speaker 1: House wants you to believe this crap. They made a
- 24:22Speaker 1: policy that they knew was going to make gas prices
- 24:25Speaker 1: go up on purpose because they want to force you
- 24:27Speaker 1: into green alternative energy. Then they want you to believe
- 24:30Speaker 1: that they're so concerned about gas prices why they refuse
- 24:33Speaker 1: to allow for more pipelines and the Keystone Pipeline to
- 24:37Speaker 1: reopen and allow for more drilling from our natural resources
- 24:41Speaker 1: in this country, while they've also were releasing the strategic
- 24:44Speaker 1: oil reserves to lower the price of gas artificiallys they
- 24:47Speaker 1: could have a better election cycle. That's all true. Okay,
- 24:52Speaker 1: we know that's true. We know that's a fact, right,
- 24:55Speaker 1: we know that, like, we know this is the fact.
- 24:59Speaker 1: And they sit there, I tell you this, right, it's absurd,
- 25:03Speaker 1: and they're like, well, he woke up at three am
- 25:05Speaker 1: to check the prices. I don't give a crap. He
- 25:07Speaker 1: wakes up at two am or one am check the prices.
- 25:09Speaker 1: If you have a policy for which you know is
- 25:12Speaker 1: going to make the prices of gas absolutely skyrocket, do
- 25:16Speaker 1: I really give a crap? What time you wake up
- 25:19Speaker 1: in the morning. And that's what their defenses are, the
- 25:21Speaker 1: high gas prices. Well, we wake up really early in
- 25:25Speaker 1: the morning. And even the people on set at CNN
- 25:28Speaker 1: you can hear them chuckle on the background at the
- 25:30Speaker 1: absurdity of that. It's been about diesel because that is
- 25:33Speaker 1: also how goods are transported. So what are we saying
- 25:35Speaker 1: with diesel prices, because that is really key to inflation prices. Absolutely,
- 25:39Speaker 1: So gasoline prices are cooling a little bit faster than
- 25:42Speaker 1: diesel prices, but those are also showing signs of peaking
- 25:44Speaker 1: as well, so that's incredibly important. Now one of the
- 25:47Speaker 1: things that can be sort of the downside, I could
- 25:50Speaker 1: say this of lower gas prices. Sometimes they fall because
- 25:53Speaker 1: you're worried about a recession. So they're falling for the
- 25:55Speaker 1: wrong reasons. You know, they were very low during the pandemic.
- 25:57Speaker 1: That's because we were in the middle of a pandemics.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Sometimes you'll hear people say, oh, you know, gas prices
- 26:02Speaker 1: dropped so much from that pandemic low of a dollar
- 26:04Speaker 1: eighty five. Well, you don't want low gas prices because
- 26:06Speaker 1: the economy is crashing, right, you don't want gas prices
- 26:12Speaker 1: low for because of a crashing economy. This is where
- 26:15Speaker 1: again they're lying to you at SCENN and this is
- 26:17Speaker 1: what the present is going to lie to you about tonight.
- 26:19Speaker 1: If you want to know why gas prices were low
- 26:21Speaker 1: during the pandemic and why they dropped to dollar eighty five,
- 26:24Speaker 1: it's for one reason. No one was driving. Do you
- 26:28Speaker 1: remember the driving habits of an economy shut down? Schools
- 26:33Speaker 1: were shut down, public schools. No one was driving, everybody
- 26:37Speaker 1: was staying home, no one was flying anywhere. This idea
- 26:42Speaker 1: that they're like, oh, well, it was because the economy
- 26:45Speaker 1: was crashing, No, it wasn't. We had an abundance of gas.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Do you remember when oil went to actually negative because
- 26:50Speaker 1: we had so much that was out there and no
- 26:53Speaker 1: one could take it, and everything was filled. Do you
- 26:55Speaker 1: remember when Donald Trump tried to fill the strategic oil
- 26:57Speaker 1: reserves for basically needs on the dollar and Democrats blocked it?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Do you remember that this is why? This is why
- 27:08Speaker 1: when you hear this present talk tonight, listen to what
- 27:12Speaker 1: he's saying and then connect it to what you're experiencing.
- 27:17Speaker 1: And I think it will very clearly, okay, very clearly
- 27:24Speaker 1: show you that he is going to sell you a
- 27:27Speaker 1: bill of goods that is as egregious as the Inflation
- 27:32Speaker 1: Reduction Act that had nothing to do with reducing inflation.
- 27:36Speaker 1: All right, I'll be staying up late tonight. I can
- 27:39Speaker 1: promise you that watching the Stay of the Union, we'll
- 27:41Speaker 1: put out a post stay the Union show, so make
- 27:43Speaker 1: sure you join us for that tomorrow morning, and I
- 27:46Speaker 1: will see you then
