Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Democratic Party Now Officially the PR Arm of Hamas and Iran
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: It is begun.
- 0:02Speaker 2: The Democratic Party is now officially the pr arm of
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hamas Terris as well as Iran. Democratic Senaer Dick Durbin
- 0:11Speaker 2: now coming out as a lead Democrat in the Senate
- 0:15Speaker 2: saying it is time for a ceasefire in Gaza, saying, quote,
- 0:19Speaker 2: we need a resolution the Middle East that gives some
- 0:22Speaker 2: promise for the future. This just weeks after the nine
- 0:27Speaker 2: to eleven style attack on Israel at the hands of
- 0:30Speaker 2: Hamas that was paid for, funded and trained by Iran.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So why are the Democrats abandoning Israel because apparently they
- 0:39Speaker 2: hate the Jews. Take a listen to Senator Dick Durbin
- 0:43Speaker 2: calling for a ceasefire as Israel is trying to get
- 0:47Speaker 2: rid of the terrorist organization that murdered, raped, beheaded, and
- 0:53Speaker 2: stabbed to death and cooked in ovens infant children.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Bring us now as a Senace umber chie Democratic and
- 1:00Speaker 3: also chairs the Judiciary Committee. Senator, thanks very much for
- 1:03Speaker 3: being with me, and I wonder if you agree with
- 1:05Speaker 3: Attorney General Allison that more forceful public language on civilian
- 1:10Speaker 3: casualties from President Biden would be helpful.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Well, let me say at the outset that what happened
- 1:15Speaker 4: on October seventh, the Hamas terrorism against Israel was outrageous
- 1:19Speaker 4: and barbaric, no question about it. Fourteen hundred people who
- 1:23Speaker 4: lost their lives in the process. Israel has the right
- 1:25Speaker 4: to defend itself and it has the right to stop
- 1:28Speaker 4: this terrorist activity by Hamas. Now let's get down to
- 1:31Speaker 4: the reality of this confrontation. We know that hundreds thousands,
- 1:36Speaker 4: if you will, have been killed innocent people in the process.
- 1:39Speaker 4: It is time for a humanitarian pause. It is time
- 1:43Speaker 4: for us to count to the injured and bring them
- 1:45Speaker 4: forward for floating hospitals and other sources that can help them.
- 1:50Speaker 4: I think this is the moment we should seize.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I think a lot of people listening to people in power,
- 1:57Speaker 3: President you, sectary of Blincoln calling for a humanitarian are
- 2:00Speaker 3: asking themselves why is that different from a ceasefire? Two
- 2:04Speaker 3: years ago twenty twenty one, during an escalation of violence
- 2:07Speaker 3: between Israel and Gaza, you called for a ceasefire, and
- 2:10Speaker 3: you said you quote couldn't disagree more with that Yahoo's
- 2:13Speaker 3: policies quote when it came to the treatment of Palestinians.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Is a ceasefire needed now?
- 2:19Speaker 4: I think it is, at least in the context of
- 2:23Speaker 4: both sides agreeing, for example, the release of those who
- 2:27Speaker 4: have been kidnapped should be part of this immediate release.
- 2:31Speaker 4: That should be the beginning of it. An effort should
- 2:34Speaker 4: be made to engage in conversation between the Israelis and
- 2:38Speaker 4: the Palestinians. Let's face it, this has gone on for decades.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Whatever the rationale from the beginning, it has now reached
- 2:44Speaker 4: an intolerable level. We need to have a resolution in
- 2:48Speaker 4: the Middle East that gives some promise.
- 2:49Speaker 5: For the future.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Have you told the President the White House you think
- 2:52Speaker 3: it's signed for a ceasefire, because that is a word
- 2:54Speaker 3: that the President is intentionally not using.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Well, believe me what I said about seas far as
- 3:01Speaker 4: under circumstances, for example, the release of those who have
- 3:03Speaker 4: been kidnapped, as part of an indication that this is
- 3:07Speaker 4: a good faith effort on the part of the other side.
- 3:10Speaker 4: But I know I'm not communicated with.
- 3:12Speaker 2: The White House on that good faith effort. Did you
- 3:15Speaker 2: hear the Senator Durban say good faith effort? What world
- 3:18Speaker 2: is he living in? Does he actually believe for a
- 3:21Speaker 2: moment that Hamas, who is willing to bake to death
- 3:26Speaker 2: babies in stoves in Jewish people's homes, babies with knives
- 3:32Speaker 2: stuck in them where they were bleeding out to death,
- 3:36Speaker 2: Babies whose heads were severed, infant children whose heads were severed,
- 3:41Speaker 2: women that were purposely raped to the point of death,
- 3:45Speaker 2: are going to somehow agree to give up hostages in
- 3:49Speaker 2: a quote humanitarian cease fire. What world are you living
- 3:55Speaker 2: in where you think this is is a thing. Now,
- 3:58Speaker 2: this all happening is there's an open hatred of Jews
- 4:02Speaker 2: that is surging globally, inflamed by this type of rhetoric
- 4:07Speaker 2: implying that somehow Israel is doing something wrong. Right now,
- 4:12Speaker 2: obviously Israel is not doing anything wrong. They're doing exactly
- 4:16Speaker 2: what any country should do after they are attacked by
- 4:20Speaker 2: barbaric individuals and terrorists organizations. Now it's not just Durban
- 4:26Speaker 2: John Fetterman has come out that senator from Pennsylvania.
- 4:31Speaker 1: He had this to say about Israel.
- 4:33Speaker 4: I am really about making sure that Israel is able
- 4:39Speaker 4: to do is.
- 4:43Speaker 3: He deserves to do.
- 4:45Speaker 2: We don't really know what that means. I'm really about
- 4:48Speaker 2: Israel doing what Israel deserves to do. So that is
- 4:51Speaker 2: what you have from democrats I guess that are trying
- 4:54Speaker 2: to be like pro Israel MSNBC's Lawrence o'donnald Israel is
- 5:00Speaker 2: launching disproportionate attacks now, they say on the people. This
- 5:05Speaker 2: is more of that propaganda saying this nick. The phrase
- 5:10Speaker 2: that that's used to frame these events in the twentieth
- 5:14Speaker 2: century was proportionate response, whether it be the United States
- 5:19Speaker 2: of America, whether it be Israel responding to some kind
- 5:21Speaker 2: of attack. The response was supposed to be, in theory,
- 5:24Speaker 2: proportionate quote unquote. The twenty first century Israeli government seems
- 5:29Speaker 2: to have deliberately and publicly abandoned the notion of proportionate
- 5:32Speaker 2: response into in effect, disproportionate saying we will hit you
- 5:37Speaker 2: even harder than you've ever expected. This seems like it
- 5:42Speaker 2: is deliberate framing it this way, that that's what they want.
- 5:47Speaker 2: This is how MSNBC is now covering this. You have MEBC,
- 5:53Speaker 2: who's out there NBC saying that it's unfair the way
- 5:58Speaker 2: that Israel is respond to ridding the world of a
- 6:02Speaker 2: terrorist organization that butchered innocent children, grabbed women and raped
- 6:07Speaker 2: them to death, or raped them and then killed them.
- 6:11Speaker 2: This is now what you're what's happening now In a moment,
- 6:15Speaker 2: I'm also going to be joined by Senator Marshall Blackburn,
- 6:18Speaker 2: who's going to talk about what's going on in the
- 6:20Speaker 2: Senate with us. But what we are seeing in this
- 6:23Speaker 2: country right now is we are seeing not only a
- 6:27Speaker 2: rise of anti Semitism, but we are also seeing new warnings.
- 6:31Speaker 2: The former acting Customs and Border Patrol Commissioner has come
- 6:35Speaker 2: out with a start warning the day after the FBI
- 6:38Speaker 2: has said that they are very concerned about a terrorist attack,
- 6:42Speaker 2: and the former acting CBP Commissioner says that this is
- 6:47Speaker 2: Israeli type attack that we just witnessed could quote absolutely
- 6:51Speaker 2: happen in the United States of American. Mark Morgan told
- 6:56Speaker 2: Senator Blackburn the terrorist attack that happened in Israel on
- 6:59Speaker 2: a over the seventh could absolutely happen in the United States
- 7:02Speaker 2: due to the unsecured southern border, according to his words
- 7:07Speaker 2: about the condition that we're in in this country, quote,
- 7:10Speaker 2: the answer is absolutely.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And this is what I keep saying.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Morgan said to congress Our Senator of Blackburn, you don't
- 7:18Speaker 2: have to be a border security expert to understand that
- 7:21Speaker 2: we have a national security crisis happening in our southern border.
- 7:25Speaker 1: It's just common sense.
- 7:29Speaker 2: What happened in Israel should be a wake up call
- 7:33Speaker 2: for two very important reasons. One, this is again the
- 7:36Speaker 2: former head of Customers and Border Patrol. It shows us
- 7:39Speaker 2: that global terrorism is alive and well. Islamic extremists that
- 7:44Speaker 2: carried out these atronocities in Israel they want to do
- 7:48Speaker 2: harm to our homeland. That commitment is not changed, it
- 7:52Speaker 2: is unwavering. And addition to that, it shows a colossal
- 7:57Speaker 2: intelligence failure. He went on to say, we know that
- 8:01Speaker 2: that May of this year, the Director of the FBI,
- 8:04Speaker 2: during congressional testimony, said he's concerned about the southwest border
- 8:08Speaker 2: as a national security threat. He told Congress that has
- 8:11Speaker 2: Baus absolutely still committed to long term contingency planning to
- 8:16Speaker 2: do harm to the United States. The Department of Home
- 8:19Speaker 2: and Security just a couple of days before the October
- 8:21Speaker 2: attack in Israel release an internal report that said they
- 8:26Speaker 2: are concerned that terrorists organizations are going to exploit our
- 8:30Speaker 2: southern border, and just a couple of days ago, the
- 8:34Speaker 2: Customs and Border Patrol in San Diego put out a
- 8:36Speaker 2: similar intelligence bulletin that they're concerned that terrorists inspired by
- 8:40Speaker 2: what happened in Israel right now are going to exploit
- 8:43Speaker 2: our southern border to do harm to our United States,
- 8:46Speaker 2: and yet this Biden administration, they're not even acknowledging that
- 8:52Speaker 2: there is a correlation and that risk is massive at
- 8:57Speaker 2: our open southern border. I also want you to hear
- 9:01Speaker 2: from Bassam Yusef, who sat down with Piers Morgan, and
- 9:05Speaker 2: I want you to hear what he had to say
- 9:07Speaker 2: about what's going on with Israel and the Palestinians.
- 9:10Speaker 6: Listen, now, other people said, well, okay, if you feel
- 9:15Speaker 6: that strongly, why aren't you taking in any Palestinians?
- 9:20Speaker 5: Why is Egypt not taking Palestinians?
- 9:22Speaker 6: Why does the Arab world want to constantly attack Israel
- 9:27Speaker 6: without actually offering any place to go for the Palestinians?
- 9:31Speaker 5: So what do you say about That?
- 9:32Speaker 7: Is exactly what Israel wants, and that is exactly what
- 9:36Speaker 7: it actually starts Third War three.
- 9:39Speaker 5: This is the worst solution.
- 9:41Speaker 7: These are Palestine, these are Dada lands, and then Sudd
- 9:44Speaker 7: take them.
- 9:44Speaker 5: Why so they've been basically kicked.
- 9:46Speaker 7: Around from their homes and now another country should take them.
- 9:51Speaker 5: You see what would happen? Imagine this now?
- 9:55Speaker 7: And because Israeli official has been talking openly about this,
- 9:58Speaker 7: it's like, why don't they just go and sign.
- 10:00Speaker 5: What do they go? You know, what would happen? Those
- 10:02Speaker 5: people are going to be.
- 10:02Speaker 7: Pushing Sinai and with any population two million people they
- 10:06Speaker 7: are living in refugee cam what do you think will happen? Unrest, chaos,
- 10:12Speaker 7: And then after a few years, the Western media will
- 10:15Speaker 7: come with their cameras like, oh, look at those Arabs.
- 10:17Speaker 5: Oh they're killing each other. Oh Israel, it's good that
- 10:19Speaker 5: they got trade over them. And then they will go
- 10:21Speaker 5: to the West Bank.
- 10:21Speaker 7: And so then those three point November five million people
- 10:24Speaker 7: pushing to Jordan. This the whole idea, Why does Jordan
- 10:27Speaker 7: take them? Why does Egypt? The same question? Europe has
- 10:32Speaker 7: forty four countries, why don't they take Israel? America has
- 10:37Speaker 7: fifty states. Why don't they give them Florida? I mean
- 10:39Speaker 7: they we seem to complain about Florida the whole time.
- 10:40Speaker 7: Why don't they just like give it? Is the whole
- 10:42Speaker 7: idea is like, oh, you're Arabs. All they say no, no, no,
- 10:47Speaker 7: because what would happen the so if they all move
- 10:49Speaker 7: into Jordan, it's like, oh, Sally, why.
- 10:50Speaker 5: Don't you take the Jordanium? So this is not not
- 10:54Speaker 5: a solution, I hear. I'm not taking a position out
- 10:57Speaker 5: of the way. Let me ask you, doctor.
- 10:58Speaker 7: I want to say something about Queen Rodya said, okay,
- 11:01Speaker 7: the whole idea about.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Like the West.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I think, listen very carefully to what Yusef is about
- 11:08Speaker 2: to say about Israel and this war in the West.
- 11:12Speaker 1: He's blaming the West for all this.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Right, nothing will make one feel happier after killing a
- 11:16Speaker 2: bunch of policy kids and a happy meal.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Listen, he's going to say that.
- 11:21Speaker 7: I think that in three weeks Israel morally corrupted the
- 11:27Speaker 7: West like no other. I think the West will have
- 11:29Speaker 7: a lot of time to recover because for years the
- 11:33Speaker 7: West has been telling us, oh, look, we're liberally, We're
- 11:35Speaker 7: all about human rights, all are equal, adopt our values.
- 11:39Speaker 5: And then suddenly you don't want to even to cease.
- 11:42Speaker 5: We don't want to even tell Israel to stop. And
- 11:44Speaker 5: suddenly we woke up.
- 11:46Speaker 7: McDonald's are giving three meals two the Israeli because like,
- 11:50Speaker 7: nothing will make you feel better after killing a bunch
- 11:52Speaker 7: of Fantasinian kids than a happy meal.
- 11:55Speaker 2: This is the propaganda that the left is putting out there.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Nothing will make you feel happier after killing a bunch
- 12:01Speaker 2: of palacing in kids in a happy meal. Israel morally
- 12:04Speaker 2: corrupted the West like no other. The media is playing
- 12:08Speaker 2: into this. These are the terrorists who are literally sitting
- 12:11Speaker 2: there telling you that somehow they have become the victims instantly.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Now to combat that, Israel has now put out Hamas footage.
- 12:23Speaker 2: They put out one hour, eleven minutes and thirty four
- 12:27Speaker 2: seconds of the Hamas footage of October seventh terror attacks,
- 12:32Speaker 2: and the IDF audio recordings have come out with this. This,
- 12:37Speaker 2: by the way, is one of the smartest decisions that
- 12:41Speaker 2: was ever made by Israel to do this, and I
- 12:46Speaker 2: made it through about thirteen minutes. I finally had to
- 12:50Speaker 2: turn it off because it was so horrific how they
- 12:54Speaker 2: were killing children, how they were killing kids. This also
- 12:59Speaker 2: comes as what we're witnessing on this in this country.
- 13:03Speaker 2: University of Pennsylvania students refer to hamas terraces, as freedom fighters,
- 13:10Speaker 2: and the University of Pennsylvania students called the October the
- 13:15Speaker 2: seventh attacks quote glorious, joyful, and powerful. These are students
- 13:22Speaker 2: at you of penn Listen carefully.
- 13:28Speaker 1: A friend from.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Blackwell recently reminded me of something which I would like to.
- 13:32Speaker 5: Share with all of you.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Do you guys remember the photo of the.
- 13:36Speaker 6: Kids and men laughing and smiling as they sat.
- 13:39Speaker 1: On top of this really military.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Jeep captured by our freedom fighters.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Ye remember that picture?
- 13:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:46Speaker 8: How about the photos of the bulldos are breaking through
- 13:48Speaker 8: the deathly border.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Do you remember that picture.
- 13:52Speaker 8: And the several other joyful and powerful images which came
- 13:55Speaker 8: from the glorious October seventh. Yeah, I want you to
- 14:02Speaker 8: picture those in your mind. I want you all to
- 14:04Speaker 8: remember how you felt.
- 14:05Speaker 5: When you saw those images and heard the news.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I remember feeling so empowered and.
- 14:11Speaker 8: Happy, so confident that victory was near.
- 14:14Speaker 1: It so tangible.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Yea.
- 14:20Speaker 8: I want all of you to hold that feeling in
- 14:23Speaker 8: your hearts, never.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Let go of it.
- 14:25Speaker 8: Channel it through every action you take.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Bring it to the streets.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Go down to the streets every day, and don't ever
- 14:34Speaker 8: let them feel that you quietly accept this genocide.
- 14:38Speaker 7: WHOA pay thy pla side.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Pray, pray palside.
- 14:50Speaker 8: From the reverer to the sea, from the river to
- 14:53Speaker 8: the set, from the ripper to the sea, placide will
- 14:58Speaker 8: be free.
- 15:05Speaker 2: This is the University of Pennsylvania students referring to the
- 15:10Speaker 2: hamas butchers as freedom fighters, calling October the seventh attack,
- 15:17Speaker 2: a glorious, joyful and powerful day calling for the extermination
- 15:25Speaker 2: from land to sea, from c to sea, all the
- 15:29Speaker 2: Jews will be gone from the face of this earth.
- 15:33Speaker 1: All the Jews will be gone.
- 15:37Speaker 2: That is what is happening right now on our college campuses,
- 15:43Speaker 2: which brings me back to what I said a moment ago.
- 15:46Speaker 2: The amount of open hatred of Jews surging globally is
- 15:51Speaker 2: not only disgusting, but there's also the fact that while
- 15:54Speaker 2: this is surging, it's happening on our college campuses, happening
- 16:00Speaker 2: in Central Park, It's happening in Times Square, It's happening
- 16:03Speaker 2: at the University of penn It's happening in Australia in
- 16:08Speaker 2: front of the famous opera house where they're chanting gas
- 16:13Speaker 2: the Jews. It's happening at airports in Russia where they
- 16:17Speaker 2: heard there was a flight coming in from Tel Aviv.
- 16:20Speaker 2: It's happening all over the world and in America at
- 16:26Speaker 2: levels we've never seen before. The Hamas Terris attack is
- 16:32Speaker 2: igniting this open hatred that you can see everywhere, whether
- 16:38Speaker 2: it's Germany where segments of the Jewish population in Berlin
- 16:42Speaker 2: are now being forced to consider a question many once
- 16:44Speaker 2: thought unthinkable. Is it time to leave Germany? In recent
- 16:50Speaker 2: days there assailants have heurled two different explosions at a
- 16:57Speaker 2: synagogue in central Berlin, and the star of day David
- 17:00Speaker 2: was found put on the facade of several buildings where
- 17:03Speaker 2: Jews live in.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Berlin, just like they did back in World War Two.
- 17:10Speaker 2: German citizens have been confirmed as being victims now of
- 17:14Speaker 2: the horrific AMAS attacks. And yet well that's happening, this
- 17:18Speaker 2: is what they're labbing to happen there In France, the
- 17:21Speaker 2: star of David was also spray paint on homes in
- 17:23Speaker 2: Paris on Tuesday night and what political leaders called a
- 17:27Speaker 2: chilling reminder of what happened in the nineteen thirties, Sixty
- 17:33Speaker 2: starved David's were left stenciled on walls in and around
- 17:37Speaker 2: areas around the French capital where a massive rise, they say,
- 17:42Speaker 2: in anti Semitic instances happened. What did the government say there, Hey,
- 17:46Speaker 2: if you're Jewish, watch your back.
- 17:49Speaker 1: That's it.
- 17:50Speaker 2: And we have the Democratic Party now that's calling for
- 17:53Speaker 2: a cease fire, a humanitarian ceasefire, wanting Israel to stop
- 18:00Speaker 2: filling the terrorists who did these barbaric acts for ten years,
- 18:04Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile has been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 18:08Speaker 2: And when I say the only one, I mean it,
- 18:10Speaker 2: they're the only one. They make a huge difference every
- 18:13Speaker 2: time that you pay your bill because they actually get
- 18:15Speaker 2: back to conservative causes and organizations to help you stand
- 18:21Speaker 2: up for what you believe in. While you're paying a
- 18:23Speaker 2: bill you're going to have anyways. This is the part
- 18:26Speaker 2: that I love about Patriot Mobile. They're making a difference
- 18:30Speaker 2: every time you pay your bill, every time you make
- 18:32Speaker 2: a phone call, every time that you.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Send a text message.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile actually gives money back to protect First and
- 18:41Speaker 2: Second Amendment rights, to protect the lives of unborn children.
- 18:45Speaker 2: And that's what they're doing right now, is they celebrate
- 18:48Speaker 2: their tenth anniversary. If you switch right now to Patriot Mobile,
- 18:52Speaker 2: they are going to give a donation to help protect
- 18:55Speaker 2: life and to help mothers choose life to an organization
- 19:00Speaker 2: that does everything they can to protect the lives of
- 19:03Speaker 2: unborn children. Then every month when you pay your bill,
- 19:06Speaker 2: they're going to continue to support the causes that I
- 19:09Speaker 2: just mentioned. And this is exactly why you need to
- 19:12Speaker 2: make the switch. If you're tired of woke companies. Switch
- 19:17Speaker 2: your cell phone to Patriot Mobile. Whether you are a business,
- 19:21Speaker 2: a small business, or just a family, you can switch
- 19:24Speaker 2: and they make switching easy. They have a one hundred
- 19:27Speaker 2: percent US based call center making switching extremely easy.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You're going to get.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Nationwide coverage, unlimited talking texts, and usually save real money
- 19:35Speaker 2: on your bill. Nine seven to two Patriot. It's nine
- 19:39Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot, nine seven to two Patriot. Or
- 19:43Speaker 2: go online to Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben that's
- 19:47Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ben or nine seven to
- 19:50Speaker 2: two Patriot. I want to bring in now US Senator
- 19:55Speaker 2: from Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn, Senator.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Nice to chat with you.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Is good to see you the other day in the halls
- 19:59Speaker 2: of co Congress as well, and Hamas is holding. We've
- 20:03Speaker 2: been told at least five hundred Americans hostage and GAZA.
- 20:07Speaker 2: That has not been what we've been getting in transparency
- 20:10Speaker 2: from this administration, and it doesn't seem like this administration
- 20:14Speaker 2: wants to talk about those numbers at all. Can you
- 20:18Speaker 2: tell us more about how we got to that number
- 20:21Speaker 2: and what may or may not be being done right
- 20:24Speaker 2: now by this administration to try to get those American
- 20:26Speaker 2: hostages freed, and.
- 20:29Speaker 9: We're quite frustrated with the administration not coming forward about this.
- 20:35Speaker 9: And then I think that Sunday when Jake Sullivan was
- 20:38Speaker 9: unfaced the nation and he said, you know, we've got
- 20:42Speaker 9: about five hundred American citizens. There are people that are
- 20:46Speaker 9: aid workers and people that were there visiting family and friends,
- 20:50Speaker 9: and they're stuck in Gaza. We're trying to work with Hamas.
- 20:56Speaker 9: Hamas has some demands. It's a challenging situation. Egypt's ready
- 21:02Speaker 9: to receive them. Israel is saying let's get them out,
- 21:07Speaker 9: but they didn't want to call them hostages. They are
- 21:12Speaker 9: skirting around using that term. So we looked up the
- 21:17Speaker 9: definition of what our government considers to be a hostage,
- 21:22Speaker 9: and it's people that are being held against civil people
- 21:25Speaker 9: that are not allowed to leave a country, and a government,
- 21:29Speaker 9: organization or individual is making demands of the United States.
- 21:34Speaker 9: So why they are tiptoeing around this and not saying
- 21:38Speaker 9: to Hamas, do not touch any of these American citizens
- 21:44Speaker 9: and get them out today, I don't know why they
- 21:48Speaker 9: are not doing that, because that's what you would expect
- 21:52Speaker 9: them to do. These are citizens that were they're providing aid,
- 21:57Speaker 9: they were visiting family, so let's get them moved out
- 22:03Speaker 9: of the country as quickly as we can. And the
- 22:10Speaker 9: fact that they will not say the word hostage is
- 22:14Speaker 9: indeed quite baffling, because not only did you have Jack
- 22:18Speaker 9: Sullivan say that, but you've also had the National Security
- 22:22Speaker 9: Council spokesman John Kirby say that HAMAS is making demands.
- 22:27Speaker 9: And by the way, for your listeners, HAMAS is in
- 22:30Speaker 9: control of the government in Gaza, and HAMAS is recognized
- 22:35Speaker 9: as a terrorist organization by the United States of America
- 22:41Speaker 9: and our allies, and we need to realize this.
- 22:48Speaker 2: It's shocking to me that this administration hasn't been more forceful,
- 22:52Speaker 2: at least publicly. And look, I always try to give
- 22:54Speaker 2: a benefit of the doubt when we're dealing with hostages
- 22:57Speaker 2: that hey, maybe there's some sort of conversations happening behind
- 23:01Speaker 2: the scenes. They're not trying to turn this into a
- 23:05Speaker 2: pr you know, catastrophe or and they're trying to get
- 23:09Speaker 2: them out. But based on the last three years of
- 23:12Speaker 2: this administration, that doesn't they don't seem to be very
- 23:15Speaker 2: good at this. When when you trade Iranians, for example,
- 23:18Speaker 2: for Americans and then you send more than a billion
- 23:21Speaker 2: dollars per person you're trading for, which is something I
- 23:24Speaker 2: thought we didn't do, which was negotiate with terrorists, and
- 23:27Speaker 2: then we find out that those same Iranians, while they're
- 23:29Speaker 2: doing that deal, are not only funding, but also helping
- 23:34Speaker 2: plan and train the terrorists are about to take out
- 23:37Speaker 2: this horrific attack against the Israelis.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of confidence.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And if I was a American system with a family member
- 23:44Speaker 2: that's being held hostage one of these five hundred, I
- 23:47Speaker 2: wouldn't have a lot of confidence in the competency of
- 23:51Speaker 2: this administration and or the transparency even to the families.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Are you hearing from families and what are what are
- 23:59Speaker 2: other senders hearing from other families that you've heard about,
- 24:02Speaker 2: maybe from different states.
- 24:04Speaker 9: And I have Our office has helped nearly a hundred
- 24:09Speaker 9: people get out of Israel, and I've met with some
- 24:14Speaker 9: of the families that have Israeli Jewish family members that
- 24:20Speaker 9: are being held hostage, were taken from Israel into Gaza.
- 24:26Speaker 9: I have not heard from Palestinian Americans who have someone
- 24:33Speaker 9: that is being held there in Gaza, but we have
- 24:36Speaker 9: all the information on our website. If there is someone
- 24:40Speaker 9: who needs our assistance on any of these. But the
- 24:47Speaker 9: important thing to realize, and what you were just talking
- 24:51Speaker 9: about then, is with Iran. Iran is the world's largest
- 24:58Speaker 9: state sponsor of terrorist them. Much of that money we
- 25:01Speaker 9: put over to them in the Iran nuclear deal in
- 25:04Speaker 9: twenty fifteen, they have used to do two things. They
- 25:09Speaker 9: have used it to enrich uranium because they want to
- 25:12Speaker 9: get it just below that level so that they could
- 25:16Speaker 9: in a few months make a nuclear warheads. And the
- 25:19Speaker 9: second is they put that money into terrorism. They fund
- 25:25Speaker 9: Hamas to the tune of about one hundred million dollars
- 25:29Speaker 9: a year plus. As you point it out, they do training,
- 25:32Speaker 9: supplies equipment, and they do weapons, they do armaments, so
- 25:39Speaker 9: they are heavily invested in these terrorist organizations. You've got Hamas, Hezbela,
- 25:48Speaker 9: the Whosies isis, Syria isis the Rock, the Revolutionary Guard.
- 25:54Speaker 9: Iran is funding all of that. Now, this is why
- 25:59Speaker 9: I've led the for to freeze that six billion dollar
- 26:04Speaker 9: ransom payment that we made. And of course with the
- 26:08Speaker 9: pressure by thoughts in pressure from the Senate to freeze
- 26:12Speaker 9: that payment. Now you have the White House saying, oh,
- 26:16Speaker 9: we've got quiet agreement that we're freezing that money. That
- 26:20Speaker 9: money hasn't been touched, and we're saying no, we want
- 26:23Speaker 9: this to be formalized. Iran does not get the money.
- 26:27Speaker 9: And then we also are calling for the sanctions that
- 26:32Speaker 9: Donald Trump placed on Iran for their oil sales, and
- 26:38Speaker 9: he had driven down their oil market revenue from about
- 26:43Speaker 9: thirty billion little over thirty billion dollars a year down
- 26:47Speaker 9: to about ten billion dollars a year. Now under Joe Biden,
- 26:52Speaker 9: who has relaxed those sanctions, they're making a billion bucks
- 26:57Speaker 9: a week, a billion a week oil primary customers Russia, China,
- 27:04Speaker 9: North Korea.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Explain relaxing sanctions because this has been I think a
- 27:10Speaker 2: huge underreported story in this country, and that is Look,
- 27:15Speaker 2: we had sanctions because we knew Iran was bad. We
- 27:18Speaker 2: knew they were sponsoring terrorism, We knew they were giving
- 27:21Speaker 2: safe haven to people from al Qaeda, to ISIS, to
- 27:24Speaker 2: hamas hesblah, and funding terrorism you just mentioned. But if
- 27:29Speaker 2: they're not bringing in a billion dollars a day, they're
- 27:31Speaker 2: not funding this type of terrorism at this level. And
- 27:34Speaker 2: it seems like they're so emboldened now they believe a
- 27:38Speaker 2: they own this administration. Have them compromise somehow or somebody
- 27:42Speaker 2: in China does. They can do whatever they want to,
- 27:44Speaker 2: and we're not going to quote enforce sanctions that we
- 27:47Speaker 2: already have on them much let's put new ones on them.
- 27:50Speaker 2: So explain what they could just do immediately if they
- 27:53Speaker 2: just enforce the sanctions they currently have.
- 27:56Speaker 9: That's right. And see, this was an administrative's choice that
- 28:02Speaker 9: Biden made is look, Iran, We're going to just look
- 28:08Speaker 9: the other way and not enforce the sanctions against you
- 28:11Speaker 9: on the oil seals. Sanctioning Iran on their oil sales
- 28:18Speaker 9: means they can't take it to the market, and so
- 28:22Speaker 9: it minimizes their ability to move above a certain level
- 28:27Speaker 9: of production. Now, Hamas was basically broke when Donald Trump
- 28:32Speaker 9: was president, and that was a good thing they were
- 28:36Speaker 9: getting money from because they were stealing it from the
- 28:41Speaker 9: UN Relief and Works Agency and other entities that were
- 28:46Speaker 9: out there. But Iran didn't have the extra cash to
- 28:50Speaker 9: fund all of these terrorist groups. Thereby the Middle East
- 28:56Speaker 9: was quieter and you had to functioning differently. And of
- 29:03Speaker 9: course the Sunnis and the Shias each have some of
- 29:08Speaker 9: these terrorist organizations. So when Iran is able to make
- 29:16Speaker 9: that one billion dollars a week every week, they do
- 29:21Speaker 9: not use that money to feed the poor and to
- 29:25Speaker 9: provide education for children and to take care of the elderly.
- 29:30Speaker 9: It is going in the funding that terrorist activities win.
- 29:34Speaker 9: Does Iran do that? Iran has and the Ayahtolahs, And
- 29:39Speaker 9: this is the government of Iran, not the Iranian people
- 29:43Speaker 9: who desperately want regime change, but the government. They say,
- 29:48Speaker 9: destroy America, destroy Israel. They go in the streets and
- 29:54Speaker 9: they chant death to America, death to Israel. And that
- 29:59Speaker 9: is the same thing that Hamas chance. That's the same
- 30:02Speaker 9: thing that has full of chance. You had one of
- 30:06Speaker 9: the Halasa leaders that gave an interview this week and
- 30:09Speaker 9: said until they destroy Israel, they will continue to carry
- 30:13Speaker 9: out attacks like they did on October seventh. Batty said,
- 30:17Speaker 9: goal and I tell you.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Know, and I know it's shocking and it brings well,
- 30:24Speaker 2: let me ask you this real quick, because I know
- 30:26Speaker 2: you've got to run, but it's an important one. At
- 30:27Speaker 2: the border. You mentioned terrorism and these terrorism threats. The
- 30:30Speaker 2: FBI Director Ray came out and said that he is
- 30:34Speaker 2: very concerned about a terrorist attack in this country at
- 30:37Speaker 2: a whole other level than he was before the Hamas
- 30:40Speaker 2: attack on Israel. This after We know from the Border
- 30:44Speaker 2: Patrol and from the Department Home Security that we've had
- 30:48Speaker 2: more terrorists on the terrorist watch lists get caught coming
- 30:51Speaker 2: across the border this year than the last five years combined.
- 30:54Speaker 2: I am terrified that this open southern border, with ten
- 30:58Speaker 2: thousand coming across some days in a single twenty four
- 31:01Speaker 2: hour period, has been filling terrats, been filling this nation
- 31:04Speaker 2: with terrorists that we haven't caught.
- 31:06Speaker 1: They're in the godaways. Terrists.
- 31:08Speaker 2: If you're on a terrorist watch list, are not trying
- 31:10Speaker 2: to turn themselves into border patrol. How concerned are you
- 31:13Speaker 2: right now about actual terrorists in this country planning attacks
- 31:17Speaker 2: like Chris eracity is at a whole other level.
- 31:21Speaker 9: I am very concerned. We know there are terror cells
- 31:24Speaker 9: in this country. We know in the months of October
- 31:28Speaker 9: alone you had thirty Iranians, thirty five pakistanis one hundred
- 31:33Speaker 9: Russians in two thousand Chinese present at that southern border
- 31:37Speaker 9: and ask for asylum. We have thousands of people from
- 31:42Speaker 9: what we call countries of interest, and what we know
- 31:46Speaker 9: is and we've got a briefing on this, Lindsey Graham
- 31:50Speaker 9: and I've called for it, when you pick up these
- 31:53Speaker 9: terrorists at the southern border. What are you doing with them?
- 31:57Speaker 9: We don't want them in a jail in Tennessee. We
- 32:00Speaker 9: don't want them in jails in Texas. They ought to
- 32:02Speaker 9: be sent to Gimo. So what are they doing with
- 32:07Speaker 9: these people? If you send them back to their country,
- 32:10Speaker 9: they're just going to come back again, and as you mentioned,
- 32:14Speaker 9: they might end up in either those known or unknown
- 32:18Speaker 9: Gota ways. This is a danger to our country. These
- 32:23Speaker 9: tear cells will activate, they will carry out something. I
- 32:28Speaker 9: am very very very concerned, Senator.
