- 0:00Speaker 1: Donald Trump formally charged to New York City pleads not
- 0:03Speaker 1: guilty to thirty four counts of made up, literally trumped
- 0:09Speaker 1: up charges against him that aren't even felonies, counting the
- 0:12Speaker 1: same crime over and over again. Now you may be
- 0:14Speaker 1: confused by that. So I'm going to give you the
- 0:16Speaker 1: best analogy that I can explain to you about how
- 0:20Speaker 1: ridiculous the thirty four count indictment is before I let
- 0:23Speaker 1: you hear from Donald Trump directly from what he had
- 0:25Speaker 1: to say this press conference last night. I want you
- 0:29Speaker 1: to imagine that you are jaywalking and a police officer
- 0:34Speaker 1: stops you jaywalking, and he says, I'm gonna charge you
- 0:39Speaker 1: with jaywalking, and I'm deciding out of thin air now
- 0:43Speaker 1: that it is a felony to jaywalking, not a misdemeanor.
- 0:47Speaker 1: You'd be a little bit shocked and stunned, like, what
- 0:49Speaker 1: do you mean while you were having the intent, the
- 0:53Speaker 1: officer says, of committing another heinous crime that was a felony,
- 0:58Speaker 1: You would obviously ask the Russian what is the other
- 1:02Speaker 1: crime that I was about to commit? Well, we're not
- 1:05Speaker 1: going to tell you yet. That is analogy number one
- 1:10Speaker 1: of exactly what happened in court to Donald Trump this
- 1:14Speaker 1: indictment which I've read, and I've talked to a lot
- 1:18Speaker 1: of lawyers that I trust, a lot of lawyers that
- 1:21Speaker 1: understand the stuff. And after I read it, I called
- 1:24Speaker 1: each one of them that I knew and I was like,
- 1:25Speaker 1: all right, have you read it? And they're like, yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 1: I've read it. And I'm like, Okay, am I wrong
- 1:30Speaker 1: or am I right to understand it the way that
- 1:33Speaker 1: I just described it? And they're like the spot on?
- 1:35Speaker 1: I said. So, So Donald Trump has been arraigned, the
- 1:38Speaker 1: indictment has been unsealed, it's been leaked before that, which
- 1:42Speaker 1: also is a felony. I wonder if Alvin Bragg is
- 1:44Speaker 1: going to charge himself at crimes for leaking that. I'm
- 1:46Speaker 1: sure he won't. But this is not a felony. Correct, Okay,
- 1:54Speaker 1: so it's not a felony. They're making up charges out
- 1:57Speaker 1: of thin air. Yes, and one of the charges that
- 2:00Speaker 1: they're charging Donald Trump with they won't even tell you
- 2:03Speaker 1: what the other crime was. Is that right? That's exactly right?
- 2:06Speaker 1: All right? Well, then fast forward to Alvin Bragg's press conference.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Alvin Bragg is asked about this, and Alvin Bragg's like, well,
- 2:15Speaker 1: we know there was a crime that was that was
- 2:17Speaker 1: going to be committed and moved on, wouldn't name what
- 2:20Speaker 1: the crime is he's being accused of. Now, you have
- 2:24Speaker 1: to be able to have a defense, and you got
- 2:26Speaker 1: to know what you're being charged with. And this thirty
- 2:28Speaker 1: four count indictment doesn't tell you what the big crime is.
- 2:33Speaker 1: So so Donald Trump doesn't even know and his legal
- 2:36Speaker 1: team doesn't even know how to defend a crime that
- 2:38Speaker 1: they're accusing him of because the crime is actually not listed.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Now let's move on to analogy number two. How did
- 2:48Speaker 1: we get to a thirty four count indictment? All right,
- 2:52Speaker 1: we're gonna go exactly back to the same scenario. Imagine
- 2:56Speaker 1: you are jaywalking and Alice police officer runs up on
- 3:01Speaker 1: you and says, ah, you're jaywalking. I'm gonna nail you.
- 3:05Speaker 1: And you're like okay, and they say, wow, we're gonna
- 3:07Speaker 1: charge you with a felony felony count of jaywalking because
- 3:11Speaker 1: you had the intent to jaywalk to then commit another crime.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And you're like, well, that's insane. And then they say
- 3:18Speaker 1: this to you, well you've actually jaywalked thirty four times.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You're like, what are you talking about? Well, we counted
- 3:27Speaker 1: the number of steps it must have taken you to
- 3:29Speaker 1: get to where you were when you stopped jaywalking halfway
- 3:33Speaker 1: through that intersection, and you took thirty four steps, So therefore,
- 3:37Speaker 1: we're gonna charge you with thirty four counts of jaywalking.
- 3:41Speaker 1: And you're like, well, hold on a second, I just
- 3:43Speaker 1: if you're gonna accuse me of jaywalking, then I have
- 3:46Speaker 1: to that's one count, buddy. You can't say that I
- 3:50Speaker 1: just jaywalked thirty four times when I'm jaywalking one time.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And they're like, no, no, no, that's exactly what We're
- 3:57Speaker 1: gonna charge you with, thirty four counts of jaywalking because
- 4:00Speaker 1: you took thirty four steps walking across the street. Before
- 4:05Speaker 1: we busted you. You would look at that law enforcement agent,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you'd look at that prosecutor, and you'd say, you're totally insane.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You would say this is this is absolutely absurda and
- 4:16Speaker 1: think about how mad you would be, because that's how
- 4:18Speaker 1: that's how how ridiculous would it be that every single
- 4:21Speaker 1: time that you took a step they then say that, oh, yeah, no,
- 4:26Speaker 1: that's that's that's what you did. You you jay walked again,
- 4:30Speaker 1: You took another step, you jay walked again. You took
- 4:32Speaker 1: another step, you jay walked again. The thirty four count
- 4:35Speaker 1: indictment against Donald Trump is the exact same scenario as that.
- 4:40Speaker 1: They're alleging that Donald Trump committed a crime and paying
- 4:45Speaker 1: money to Stormy Daniels. But each time there was a
- 4:49Speaker 1: check written when it came to paying Stormy Daniels, that
- 4:55Speaker 1: money back to Michael Cohen, who was at the time
- 4:58Speaker 1: the lawyer for Donald Trump, that he committed a new crime.
- 5:04Speaker 1: So he committed one crime. But they're saying you did
- 5:06Speaker 1: it thirty four times, and they're saying that each time
- 5:10Speaker 1: there was a check or they wrote in the ledger
- 5:15Speaker 1: that there was paperwork done internally, that that is a
- 5:19Speaker 1: count of falsifying business records in the first degree, which
- 5:24Speaker 1: by the way, is also not a fellow in New York.
- 5:26Speaker 1: That's the part that's insane. So if you're President Trump,
- 5:30Speaker 1: I want you to imagine sitting there in court yesterday,
- 5:33Speaker 1: and I want you to imagine the absurdity that you're
- 5:36Speaker 1: waiting on this to come down, right, You're you're actually
- 5:40Speaker 1: waiting and you're like, all right, what the hell are
- 5:42Speaker 1: you going to charge me with? I want to know, Like, yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I mean, I'm you're you're forcing the former president United's
- 5:48Speaker 1: America to come into New York City. You're forcing me
- 5:51Speaker 1: that the entire city to shut down. You're wasting taxpayer
- 5:56Speaker 1: dollars at a level that we've never seen before. And
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'll give you an example. Eric Trump tweet the SAUT
- 6:02Speaker 1: He said, Alvin Bragg literally shut down the entire city
- 6:05Speaker 1: of New York. Alvin Bragg called up thirty eight thousand
- 6:09Speaker 1: New York Police Department officers. Everybody, get there, get to work.
- 6:13Speaker 1: He then closed down the FDR drive. And now we've
- 6:17Speaker 1: been told as spending and estimated two hundred million dollars
- 6:21Speaker 1: of city funds to go after Donald Trump, all for
- 6:27Speaker 1: a hundred and a thirty thousand dollars India payment. But
- 6:31Speaker 1: every time you put it in the Ledger, it was
- 6:33Speaker 1: a new felony. This is insane. Eric Trump said, I
- 6:38Speaker 1: never thought I would see this level of corruption the
- 6:40Speaker 1: United States of America, but here we are. And to
- 6:44Speaker 1: be clear, this is not a prosecution for crimes. This
- 6:47Speaker 1: is a persecution. If Donald Trump had just gone away
- 6:51Speaker 1: after he lost the last election, they wouldn't have done
- 6:54Speaker 1: this to him. Ever, there's a reason why the last
- 7:00Speaker 1: attorney did not charge him with these crimes. There's a
- 7:03Speaker 1: reason why the federal government and the FEC looking into
- 7:06Speaker 1: this did not charge crimes because not only did he
- 7:09Speaker 1: not commit a crime once, he's sure as hell didn't
- 7:12Speaker 1: commit it thirty four times within the same crime. There's
- 7:17Speaker 1: reaching and then there's total insanity. Somebody else said to me,
- 7:21Speaker 1: they said, this would be like the equivalent of saying, Okay,
- 7:23Speaker 1: you cheated ninety three times because you were with somebody
- 7:28Speaker 1: for ninety three minutes. You're like, wait, what, I was
- 7:34Speaker 1: with him one time? Nope, ninety three times because it
- 7:36Speaker 1: was ninety three minutes. There's a million different analogies that
- 7:41Speaker 1: can be used here to talk about the absurdity and
- 7:44Speaker 1: the insanity of all this. And I think you understand
- 7:48Speaker 1: the point now. Now there's also something else here. There
- 7:54Speaker 1: are some in the media that are reacting to this
- 7:56Speaker 1: differently than others. CNN had their senior Justice correspondent, Evan Perez,
- 8:04Speaker 1: said this about this indictment. This is CNN folks talking
- 8:08Speaker 1: to Anderson Cooper, and they hate Donald Trump. They've wanted
- 8:10Speaker 1: Donald Trump to be arrested. They want they want Donald
- 8:13Speaker 1: Trump to live in prison and die in prison. This
- 8:16Speaker 1: is CNN okay. CNN's Evan Perez said the DOJ quote
- 8:21Speaker 1: underwhelmed by Bragg's indictment based on many of the things
- 8:26Speaker 1: they didn't prosecute. I don't know how it's a felony
- 8:35Speaker 1: that is CNN saying that that's CNN. But this was
- 8:42Speaker 1: all a political charade from the very beginning. Eric Trump
- 8:46Speaker 1: last night went on Hannity's show, and Eric Trump had
- 8:50Speaker 1: this to say about this charade, and it is a charade.
- 8:55Speaker 1: We hopped in the motorcade. Every single intersection was closed,
- 8:58Speaker 1: the FDR was posed. There was an army around Trump
- 9:02Speaker 1: toward There's an army around the courthouse. There was barricades
- 9:05Speaker 1: all over New York. Literally, Alvin Bragg caused thirty eight
- 9:11Speaker 1: NYPD officers to be distracted from their jobs over two
- 9:14Speaker 1: hundred million dollars or estimating that trip was for what
- 9:18Speaker 1: for one hundred and thirty thousand dollars payment. It's insane
- 9:21Speaker 1: how many people in New York died because the entire
- 9:24Speaker 1: NYPD wasn't doing their job because they were dealing with
- 9:28Speaker 1: Alvin Bragg's political charade. You want to know how political
- 9:34Speaker 1: the charade is? Making up these charges out of thin air,
- 9:40Speaker 1: taking the one payment and somehow turning into thirty four
- 9:43Speaker 1: different felonies one payment for the same thing over and
- 9:47Speaker 1: over again, Like oh yeah, each time you stroked the pen,
- 9:50Speaker 1: that's a felony on the same check. That's how absurd.
- 9:54Speaker 1: This is jay walking and you took thirty six steps
- 9:57Speaker 1: with thirty four steps, and so we're going to charge
- 9:59Speaker 1: you with four counts of jaywalking. That's how observed this charges.
- 10:03Speaker 1: What's even more insane than that Democrats are cheering on
- 10:08Speaker 1: the fact that former President Donald Trump could and this
- 10:11Speaker 1: is a fact, could face We're now being told up
- 10:15Speaker 1: to one hundred and thirty six years in prison if
- 10:20Speaker 1: he is convicted on these thirty four counts of falsification
- 10:24Speaker 1: of business records. If the judge decides this, it could
- 10:30Speaker 1: be up to one hundred and thirty six years if convicted.
- 10:34Speaker 1: A new New York state law, the crime with which
- 10:37Speaker 1: Trump has charged is a classy felony, which carries a
- 10:40Speaker 1: maximum sense of four years per count. Do the math.
- 10:46Speaker 1: A person is guilty of falsifying business records in the
- 10:48Speaker 1: first degree when he commits the crime of falsifying business
- 10:51Speaker 1: records in the second degree and when his intent to
- 10:53Speaker 1: defraud includes an intent to commit another crime, but we
- 10:58Speaker 1: don't know what the other crime is. Remember, he's been
- 11:00Speaker 1: accused of trying to commit another crime, but they won't
- 11:02Speaker 1: tell us what the other crime was. To aid or
- 11:04Speaker 1: conceal the commission thereof That's what it says in New York.
- 11:08Speaker 1: So all right, we've charged Donald Trump. They want to
- 11:11Speaker 1: put them in jail for one hundred and thirty six years.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I think we all know that means a life sentence,
- 11:15Speaker 1: and this is the Democratic Party. Now, let's talk about
- 11:19Speaker 1: a great opportunity for your IRA. In four oh one ks,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you can get free gold just by learning about gold
- 11:26Speaker 1: iras from August of Precious Metals. It's important that you
- 11:29Speaker 1: know what's going on in this crazy economy and your
- 11:32Speaker 1: hard earned savings need protecting from the devalued dollar. Protecting
- 11:36Speaker 1: from the devalued dollar, especially if you're close to retirement.
- 11:40Speaker 1: August of Precious Medals will give you information on how
- 11:42Speaker 1: to protect your savings and open a gold IRA. So
- 11:45Speaker 1: if you've saved at least a hundred thousand for retirement,
- 11:48Speaker 1: call and ask about their ultimate guide to Gold Iras.
- 11:52Speaker 1: I trust August of Precious Metals and you can too.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They will make sure that you understand what is best
- 11:57Speaker 1: for you and your portfolio. There's a reason Money magazine
- 12:01Speaker 1: says they are the best gold IRA company. Get free,
- 12:05Speaker 1: goal free information and retirement protection now by calling eight
- 12:10Speaker 1: seven seven four gold IRA. That's eight seven seven the
- 12:13Speaker 1: number four gold IRA or Augusta Precious Metals dot Com.
- 12:19Speaker 1: This indictment came down from Da brag and his press
- 12:23Speaker 1: conference where he couldn't even answer basic questions about what
- 12:26Speaker 1: happened and wouldn't explain what the crime was that Donald
- 12:32Speaker 1: Trump had the intent to break. That's then the indictment
- 12:35Speaker 1: but not named, which is totally absurd. And Anie McCarthy
- 12:42Speaker 1: said this about what this judge should do, if this
- 12:45Speaker 1: judge was a real judge, not an activist, Neil, If
- 12:48Speaker 1: the judge does his job right here, the case should
- 12:51Speaker 1: be dismissed, and it actually should be dismissed quickly. I
- 12:54Speaker 1: agree with what my friends have said, but I think
- 12:57Speaker 1: this is actually worse than what we anticipated, because what
- 13:02Speaker 1: we anticipated was that they were trying to bootstrap a misdemeanor, which,
- 13:07Speaker 1: by the way, they'd have a good deal of difficulty
- 13:09Speaker 1: proving if it was just a misdemeanor. But they need
- 13:13Speaker 1: to show that he concealed another crime in supposedly falsifying
- 13:18Speaker 1: the business records. And what we've thought up until now
- 13:21Speaker 1: is that they were he was going to use that
- 13:23Speaker 1: as an avenue to enforce federal campaign finance law. Now
- 13:28Speaker 1: maybe that's what he's planning to do, but he's got
- 13:30Speaker 1: to tell us what he's planning to do, and more importantly,
- 13:32Speaker 1: he's got to tell Donald Trump. So I think this indictment,
- 13:36Speaker 1: even before you get to the statute of limitations and
- 13:39Speaker 1: whether he's got jurisdiction to enforce federal law, I would
- 13:43Speaker 1: dismiss it on its face because it fails to state
- 13:46Speaker 1: a crime. Here. It fails to state a crime thirty
- 13:50Speaker 1: four times, fails to state a crime thirty four times.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Donald Trump held a rally last night at Marlow after
- 14:00Speaker 1: pleading not guilty. I want you to hear some of
- 14:03Speaker 1: the highlights of what he had to say. And I
- 14:06Speaker 1: never thought anything like this could happen in America, never
- 14:11Speaker 1: thought it could happen. The only crime that I have
- 14:15Speaker 1: committed is to fearlessly defend our nation from those who
- 14:19Speaker 1: seek to destroy it or our elections were like those
- 14:23Speaker 1: of a third world country. And now this massive election
- 14:27Speaker 1: interference at a scale never seen before in our country,
- 14:31Speaker 1: beginning with the radical left George Soros back prosecutor Alvin
- 14:36Speaker 1: Bragg of New York. You want to get President Trump
- 14:40Speaker 1: at any cost. And this before he knew anything about me,
- 14:44Speaker 1: didn't know a thing about me. He was campaigning. This
- 14:47Speaker 1: fake case was brought only to interfere with the upcoming
- 14:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty four election, and it should be dropped immediately, immediately.
- 14:57Speaker 1: The criminal is the district Attorney Becau is He illegally
- 15:00Speaker 1: leaked massive amounts of grand jury information for which he
- 15:08Speaker 1: should be prosecuted. And this is where we are right now.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I have a Trump hating judge with a Trump hating
- 15:16Speaker 1: wife and family. Incredibly, we are now a failing nation,
- 15:22Speaker 1: We are a nation in decline, and now these radical
- 15:26Speaker 1: left lunatics want to interfere with our elections by using
- 15:30Speaker 1: law enforcement. With all of this being said, and with
- 15:35Speaker 1: a very dark cloud over our beloved country, I have
- 15:42Speaker 1: no doubt, nevertheless, that we will make America great again.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Thank you very much. You hear Trump there, and you
- 15:55Speaker 1: hear what he had to say, and it's interesting how
- 15:58Speaker 1: calm he is. I think is still in shock that
- 16:02Speaker 1: they're actually doing this in the United States of America
- 16:04Speaker 1: like what we also know, there are reports out that
- 16:08Speaker 1: Albn Bragg wants this Trump indictment slash trial to happen
- 16:13Speaker 1: in January of next year, right in the middle of
- 16:17Speaker 1: the Republican primary. In other words, throw Trump in a courtroom,
- 16:24Speaker 1: will attack and slander him and make people hate him
- 16:28Speaker 1: so they won't vote for him, right when they're about
- 16:31Speaker 1: to vote for him. The Manhattan District Attorney Alban Bragg
- 16:35Speaker 1: reportedly asked a judge to hold the trial of former
- 16:37Speaker 1: President Donald Trump in January of twenty twenty four, which
- 16:40Speaker 1: happens to be dead smack in the middle of a
- 16:43Speaker 1: presidential primary season. Fox News reporter Jake Gibson, who was
- 16:48Speaker 1: in the courtroom, said the prosecutors had asked for the
- 16:51Speaker 1: January twenty four trial date. You want to know when
- 16:54Speaker 1: the Iowa caucuses is the first contest the Republican primary
- 16:58Speaker 1: February the fifth. That means that prosecutors want a trial
- 17:03Speaker 1: that would undoubtedly affect the race for the Republican nomination,
- 17:08Speaker 1: both by distracting the current frontrunner and by tarnishing him.
- 17:13Speaker 1: This is a smear campaign relative to the other candidates
- 17:16Speaker 1: in the race at the exact same time when people
- 17:19Speaker 1: start to go vote in Iowa, and then after Iowa
- 17:23Speaker 1: you have New Hampshire, and then after that you have
- 17:24Speaker 1: South Carolina. The list goes on and on. The requested
- 17:28Speaker 1: date would also deprive Republican voters the opportunity to choose
- 17:32Speaker 1: another candidate. And the event that Trump was in fact
- 17:36Speaker 1: found guilty, that's part of what they want to do here.
- 17:39Speaker 1: It would force them to vote while the outcome of
- 17:41Speaker 1: the trial is still in question, which would make people nervous. Remember,
- 17:47Speaker 1: in twenty twenty, Trump was forced a campaign for reelection
- 17:50Speaker 1: during his impeachment trial, which was brought on by the Democrats,
- 17:54Speaker 1: which no doubt had an impact on the election. This
- 17:58Speaker 1: is called election interference. You remember how Democrats were obsessed
- 18:01Speaker 1: with that. Remember when they were obsessed the idea of
- 18:04Speaker 1: of of Russia interfering in our elections, which never happened
- 18:08Speaker 1: because they created the Still dossiera thin air. They were
- 18:11Speaker 1: the ones that paid for it. They're the ones that
- 18:12Speaker 1: got it with fugion GPS that They're the ones that
- 18:15Speaker 1: did all of that, remember, and it was successful by
- 18:18Speaker 1: the way. You undermined the President of the United States
- 18:21Speaker 1: of America the entire time he was in office. Alvin
- 18:26Speaker 1: Bragg ran on, I'm gonna get him. Those are his words.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him. I'm gonna get Trump. He ran
- 18:34Speaker 1: for office for the for the the District Attorney of
- 18:38Speaker 1: New York and raised money off of sag I'm gonna
- 18:41Speaker 1: get him, I'm gonna get him, I'm gonna get Trump.
- 18:50Speaker 1: They started this which hunt in twenty sixteen. They started
- 18:56Speaker 1: in twenty sixteen, and now look at where we are.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Tiger Carlson put it brilliantly when he said, if Donald
- 19:05Speaker 1: Trump would have retired in twenty twenty, he would not
- 19:10Speaker 1: have been arraigned tonight. They would have just let it go.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But he didn't go away. Take a listen happened at
- 19:16Speaker 1: that Manhattan courthouse. It's obvious to many Democrats too, Trump
- 19:21Speaker 1: was criminally charged because he is planning to challenge Joe
- 19:24Speaker 1: Biden in the upcoming presidential election. It's really that simple.
- 19:28Speaker 1: If Donald Trump had retired in twenty twenty, would he
- 19:31Speaker 1: have been arraigned today? Of course not top democrats know that.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Some effectively admit it. The liberal blog Politico this morning
- 19:40Speaker 1: ran a piece describing what it called President Joe Biden's
- 19:44Speaker 1: most senior advisers predicting that Trump will be the Republican
- 19:47Speaker 1: nominee and because he has now been charged with crimes,
- 19:51Speaker 1: he will lose the general election. Thanks to this criminal case.
- 19:55Speaker 1: The Biden White House believes that swing voters, the critical
- 19:59Speaker 1: voters in a presidential election our quote now permanently out
- 20:02Speaker 1: of Trump's reach, and just to make certain that swing
- 20:05Speaker 1: voters never fall within Trump's reach, Donald Trump has schedule
- 20:09Speaker 1: to be back in court in New York with the
- 20:12Speaker 1: accompanying media circus, just weeks before the first Republican primary.
- 20:17Speaker 1: This is the boldest election interference ever attempted in this
- 20:21Speaker 1: country's history. And if you doubt that, if you think
- 20:25Speaker 1: it's maybe on the level, then we suggest you look
- 20:28Speaker 1: carefully at the indictment that was unveiled today. Donald Trump,
- 20:31Speaker 1: as you probably heard, has been charged with thirty four
- 20:34Speaker 1: separate crimes. Those crimes turn out on close examination to
- 20:37Speaker 1: be the same crime repeated thirty four times. And that
- 20:41Speaker 1: crime is quote, falsifying business records in the first degree.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So the Manhattan DA alleges that Donald Trump sent his
- 20:48Speaker 1: own money to various people for various entirely legal reasons,
- 20:53Speaker 1: but didn't account for it correctly in his office records.
- 20:57Speaker 1: That's what he's accused of. And even if Alvin Bragg
- 21:00Speaker 1: has said Trump did, he actually did do. Trump could
- 21:04Speaker 1: not be charged with that because the statute of limitations
- 21:07Speaker 1: has expired. So the question is how did Alvin Bragg
- 21:12Speaker 1: drag Donald Trump into court today? Well, he did it
- 21:15Speaker 1: by claiming that Trump falsified business records as a means
- 21:19Speaker 1: of violating some other, much more serious law. That's what
- 21:23Speaker 1: he's saying. Here's Alvin Bragg today. Under New York state law,
- 21:27Speaker 1: is a felony to falsify business records with intent to
- 21:31Speaker 1: the fraud and intent to conceal another crime. That is
- 21:37Speaker 1: exactly what this case is about. Thirty four false statements
- 21:43Speaker 1: made to cover up other crimes. These are felony crimes
- 21:48Speaker 1: in New York State. No matter who you are, we
- 21:53Speaker 1: cannot and will not normalize serious criminal conducts. To defend it,
- 22:00Speaker 1: repeatedly made false statements on New York business records. He
- 22:05Speaker 1: also caused others to make false statements. So here's what
- 22:11Speaker 1: Bragg just said. In case you weren't paying attention to
- 22:14Speaker 1: the lecture, Donald Trump has committed a crime. Not by
- 22:18Speaker 1: changing business records, but by changing business records in order
- 22:22Speaker 1: to conceal another more serious crime or to defraud somebody.
- 22:27Speaker 1: So let's take it this in order. What is the
- 22:30Speaker 1: more serious crime. Well, we have no idea, because Bragg
- 22:35Speaker 1: hasn't told us no such more serious crime is listed
- 22:39Speaker 1: in the indictment, and critically, in this really is the point.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Donald Trump has not been charged with another more serious crime.
- 22:46Speaker 1: So what we have as of tonight is an indictment
- 22:48Speaker 1: that does not allege specific violations of the law. Let's
- 22:53Speaker 1: of course unconstitutional, but it's also farcical. What about the
- 22:58Speaker 1: fraud claim you just turn Bragg make on television. Well,
- 23:03Speaker 1: Bragg claims that Trump sent money to Stormy Daniels in
- 23:06Speaker 1: order to influence the outcome of the twenty sixteen election,
- 23:09Speaker 1: and in so doing he tried to quote defraud voters. Well,
- 23:14Speaker 1: that turns out to be an actual crime that's on
- 23:16Speaker 1: the books. Bragg is claiming that Donald Trump committed a
- 23:19Speaker 1: campaign finance violation, which is a federal crime. By the way,
- 23:22Speaker 1: the problem is, he did not commit a campaign finance violation.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Nobody is claiming that he did, including the Federal Election Commission,
- 23:31Speaker 1: which has investigated this question. So as a legal matter,
- 23:34Speaker 1: the case brought today, the thirty four felonies make no
- 23:38Speaker 1: sense at all. It's ridiculous. But as a political tactic,
- 23:43Speaker 1: which is precisely what it is, it is likely to
- 23:45Speaker 1: be effective, and that's why the media so fervently supports it.
- 23:50Speaker 1: I had to play that for you because I love
- 23:52Speaker 1: the way that he described it. It's exactly how I
- 23:55Speaker 1: said it earlier. And this is another brilliant conservative of
- 24:00Speaker 1: individual who's sang it the same way. We don't know
- 24:03Speaker 1: what the crime is. They're charging for the same crime
- 24:06Speaker 1: thirty four times. There is no there there. This is
- 24:09Speaker 1: a get Trump at any cost strategy. They've been doing
- 24:13Speaker 1: this since two and sixteen, which brings me back to
- 24:16Speaker 1: what I was saying a moment ago about the liberal media. Now,
- 24:20Speaker 1: before I get into more of this story, I want
- 24:22Speaker 1: to say thank you and tell you about our good
- 24:24Speaker 1: friends at the Patriot Mobile. They are now offering a
- 24:27Speaker 1: performance guarantee. If you're not happy with your coverage, you

- 24:49Speaker 1: the same great quality that you're used to, but they

- 25:30Speaker 1: that's eight seven eighth Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 25:35Speaker 1: There are obviously commentators right and hosts that are cheering
- 25:40Speaker 1: on these indictments because this is get Trump at all costs, right, hold,
- 25:44Speaker 1: hold nothing back. We don't care if we're with the
- 25:46Speaker 1: Banana Republic, just do it. We don't care if this
- 25:48Speaker 1: is third world we just do it. CNN's Evan Perez,
- 25:53Speaker 1: who is their top guy when it comes to justice.
- 25:58Speaker 1: He is not a commentator, He's an actual news guy.
- 26:03Speaker 1: He was asked about this indictment when it came out.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Listen to how he described it. This is live on
- 26:10Speaker 1: air at CNN right after the indictment of Donald Trump.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Correspondent Evan Perez is here. I mean, you've been following
- 26:17Speaker 1: all the legal back and forth in this case, certainly
- 26:19Speaker 1: the classified documents case. What stood out to you about today? Well, Anderson,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think like you, you know, we were certainly expecting
- 26:26Speaker 1: a lot more of a narrative from the prosecutors in
- 26:30Speaker 1: the district attorney there of the legal theory of this case,
- 26:35Speaker 1: and what we don't have is exactly how they're tying
- 26:39Speaker 1: it to a second crime which makes it a felony.
- 26:41Speaker 1: And you know, one of the things that we were watching,
- 26:44Speaker 1: of course, when the district attorney was speaking later after
- 26:47Speaker 1: the court had wrapped up, was he made reference to
- 26:51Speaker 1: a possible tax crime, possibly under New York state tax law.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Now that's what we're going to be watching for in
- 26:59Speaker 1: the coming week when the district attorney has to present
- 27:03Speaker 1: more of the evidence for this case. They point out,
- 27:07Speaker 1: for instance, you know, they cross the the issue of
- 27:11Speaker 1: intent for Donald Trump by saying that he personally signed
- 27:15Speaker 1: these checks, right, so, or at least they established that
- 27:17Speaker 1: they believe they have evidence that Donald Trump intended to
- 27:21Speaker 1: violate these laws. The question is, you know, how does
- 27:24Speaker 1: this cross into a felony? And again that's where we
- 27:28Speaker 1: are surprised, frankly, that we didn't see more of that
- 27:31Speaker 1: in the statement of facts or in anything that the
- 27:34Speaker 1: district attorney presented today. And I'm wondering if you're hearing
- 27:37Speaker 1: from any sources within the Justice Department about their reaction
- 27:40Speaker 1: to the indictment today. I think like that, like us Anderson,
- 27:44Speaker 1: I think there was a lot of consternation that there
- 27:46Speaker 1: wasn't more here to be seen. Again, they are not
- 27:50Speaker 1: privy to the evidence that the district attorney has. Certainly,
- 27:54Speaker 1: you know, for the presentation of this case, a lot
- 27:57Speaker 1: of the stuff, of course, is what federal prosecutors in
- 28:01Speaker 1: New York had looked at Anderson. They had chosen not
- 28:04Speaker 1: to bring a case against Donald Trump based on many
- 28:07Speaker 1: of the things that you saw today. It is possible
- 28:10Speaker 1: that again Alvin Bragg has facts that violate that show
- 28:15Speaker 1: a violation of state law that, of course the FEDS
- 28:18Speaker 1: would not have looked at. So again, they're not privy
- 28:21Speaker 1: to everything here, but they're they're like us. I think
- 28:24Speaker 1: a little bit underwhelmed by the facts they saw presented.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I mean underwhelmed by the facts that were presented today.
- 28:31Speaker 1: This is CNN. You gotta understand thing about CNN. Okay,
- 28:34Speaker 1: they hate Donald Trump, right he called him fake news.
- 28:36Speaker 1: They've been at war with him since twenty and sixteen
- 28:38Speaker 1: when he came down that escalator. They wanted this, and
- 28:42Speaker 1: you gotta understand about these psychos they're watching CNN. Like.
- 28:45Speaker 1: CNN's ratings are so bad right now that the worst
- 28:48Speaker 1: they've been in it since they've been on the air
- 28:50Speaker 1: in my entire lifetime. And I'm not exaggerating that. So
- 28:54Speaker 1: these moments are when CNN gets huge ratings boots from
- 28:56Speaker 1: the anti I hate Trump viewer was going to tune
- 29:00Speaker 1: in because they want to watch Donald Trump burne. Right.
- 29:03Speaker 1: This is big news if you're a cheerleader for that side,
- 29:07Speaker 1: and that is your audience, and that's exactly what the
- 29:09Speaker 1: audience is for CNN right now. You want to give
- 29:13Speaker 1: them hope, false hope that this thing is gonna work.
- 29:17Speaker 1: And this is a day of reckoning in America for
- 29:20Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump and the evil Trump person and the
- 29:23Speaker 1: staff at CNN. I know this because I was a
- 29:26Speaker 1: conservative commentator for seven years there in Hell, fighting the
- 29:30Speaker 1: good fight, defending Donald Trump. Many times. In fact, that's
- 29:32Speaker 1: when I would get my phone calls from Donald Trump
- 29:34Speaker 1: at the White House. Thank you for defending me, thank
- 29:36Speaker 1: you for fighting for me, thank you for I would
- 29:39Speaker 1: get the notes from the White House. Hey, you know,
- 29:42Speaker 1: the President appreciates and saw what you did on CNN
- 29:44Speaker 1: tonight defending him. This is their bread and butter. Okay,
- 29:50Speaker 1: this is what they want to happen. The fact that
- 29:55Speaker 1: they didn't give their audience a lot of hope here
- 29:58Speaker 1: and the fact that they gave the this analogy the
- 30:01Speaker 1: way that they did, Like, we're just kind of shocked
- 30:03Speaker 1: by this, right based on many of the things they
- 30:06Speaker 1: didn't prosecute, referring to the federal government. I don't know
- 30:09Speaker 1: how it's a felony. And we're underwhelmed, and everybody else's
- 30:13Speaker 1: justice is underwhelmed by this. They know this is absurd,
- 30:19Speaker 1: They know that there is nothing there. But if this
- 30:24Speaker 1: case has to play out during a primary. If this
- 30:28Speaker 1: case has to go to a primary, and this thing
- 30:31Speaker 1: doesn't start until twenty twenty four, right before Iowa, you
- 30:35Speaker 1: may have gotten the gift that you want, the gift
- 30:39Speaker 1: of an interfering in a presidential election. Let that sink in.
- 30:45Speaker 1: This may not be about him going to jail. This
- 30:48Speaker 1: may be about costing him the White House again. That's
- 30:51Speaker 1: the goal here, all right. Make sure you share this
- 30:54Speaker 1: podcast please with your family and friends. See you back
- 30:57Speaker 1: here in just a little bit.
