- 0:01Speaker 1: There are a lot of you that have had a
- 0:02Speaker 1: lot of questions that you have been asking about the
- 0:06Speaker 1: indictment of Donald Trump and what it means moving forward.
- 0:10Speaker 1: The Justice Department prosecutors we know have brought thirty seven
- 0:16Speaker 1: felony counts against Donald Trump in this indictment, relying upon
- 0:21Speaker 1: photographs from mar Lago, surveillance, video, text messages between staffers,
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trump's own words, those of his lawyers, and quote other evidence.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I want to talk about these charges, but first I
- 0:35Speaker 1: want to answer one of the big questions that you
- 0:38Speaker 1: guys have been asking me on social media and if
- 0:40Speaker 1: you're not following me on social media Ben Ferguson podcast
- 0:43Speaker 1: on Instagram, which I'm shocked. Hell, you guys are on Instagram,
- 0:46Speaker 1: so it's great. A lot of you have found me there.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson Podcasts on Twitter, Ben Ferguson's show on facebooking
- 0:52Speaker 1: putting Ben Ferguson, You'll find us there as well. I'm
- 0:56Speaker 1: one of the main questions that's been asked to me,
- 0:59Speaker 1: is is it possible that Donald Trump could actually be
- 1:04Speaker 1: in a jury trial as a defendant while running for president.
- 1:08Speaker 1: The answer is absolutely yes, one thousand percent yes. It
- 1:18Speaker 1: is incredible the possibilities. It's shocking. So I'm going to
- 1:24Speaker 1: walk through those. This prosecutor has said and said in
- 1:29Speaker 1: his press conference that he wanted there to be a
- 1:34Speaker 1: speedy and he was requesting a speedy trial. Let me
- 1:37Speaker 1: explain to you why I believe they want it. They
- 1:39Speaker 1: want that speedy trial because they want Donald Trump to
- 1:42Speaker 1: be in a courtroom and they want it to be
- 1:44Speaker 1: on TV. And they want the president of United States
- 1:48Speaker 1: of America to look like he is having to protect himself,
- 1:52Speaker 1: that he is a defendant, that he is a criminal,
- 1:56Speaker 1: and they want to take him off the election campaign cycle. Now,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I want you to think about how big of an
- 2:06Speaker 1: advantage it would be for his opponent, Joe Biden, if
- 2:14Speaker 1: he's not out there campaigning. Very much like COVID sideline
- 2:18Speaker 1: sideline Donald Trump. Remember, COVID cut down the number of
- 2:22Speaker 1: debates and also changed the way that he was able
- 2:26Speaker 1: to run for president. COVID cut the knees out of
- 2:30Speaker 1: the most important thing that Donald Trump has. That is
- 2:33Speaker 1: him on a stage with his supporters flying around on
- 2:36Speaker 1: Trump One. That's what he's doing right now. And what
- 2:40Speaker 1: I think this indictment is all about is trying to
- 2:44Speaker 1: hurry up to a trial, and if you can hurry
- 2:48Speaker 1: up and get to that trial, it would be like
- 2:52Speaker 1: oj Simpson, no doubt about it. The trial would actually
- 2:56Speaker 1: not deal with a campaign, right because the indictment has
- 2:59Speaker 1: nothing to do with that. So it would be very
- 3:02Speaker 1: tough at the same time for the President of the
- 3:05Speaker 1: United States of America Foreign Presidentald Trump to be campaigning
- 3:10Speaker 1: because that's not what it would be about. That would
- 3:12Speaker 1: be a massive advantage for Joe Biden. I also think
- 3:17Speaker 1: anytime someone's in a trial, it doesn't put them in
- 3:20Speaker 1: the best light, right because they're being accused by the government,
- 3:23Speaker 1: and there is audio and video that will come out
- 3:27Speaker 1: of that entire scenario that is not going to make
- 3:30Speaker 1: Donald Trump look good. It's going to be a campaign
- 3:34Speaker 1: donation in essence from the Justice Department to the Joe
- 3:38Speaker 1: Biden campaign. Joe Biden would also have a huge advantage
- 3:42Speaker 1: while he is doing his limited campaigning. He can talk
- 3:47Speaker 1: about how Donald Trump, my opponent today is still stuck
- 3:51Speaker 1: in court dot dot dot, my opponent who's on you know,
- 3:56Speaker 1: right now, on trial for dot dot dot. These are
- 4:01Speaker 1: the things that are going to be said. These are
- 4:05Speaker 1: the things that are going to be talked about on
- 4:10Speaker 1: the campaign trail. That is going to be much tougher
- 4:13Speaker 1: for Donald Trump to overcome that if this is how
- 4:16Speaker 1: it plays out. Now, if you also look at what
- 4:20Speaker 1: this means for a primary, I think it changes the
- 4:23Speaker 1: primary race. In fact, I actually think that it hurts
- 4:28Speaker 1: every other cant but Donald Trump in the primaries because
- 4:32Speaker 1: it's very tough to get people to rally behind you,
- 4:36Speaker 1: rally around you. When people are looking at the persecution
- 4:42Speaker 1: and the prosecution of Donald Trump, there's a new pullout.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Eighty percent of likely GOP voters saint Trump should still
- 4:53Speaker 1: be able to be president if convicted, and he would
- 4:55Speaker 1: be by the way, he would still be eligible. That's
- 4:58Speaker 1: what the law says. In fact, you can be president
- 5:00Speaker 1: technically from jail. That is one of the reasons why
- 5:05Speaker 1: I think this is bad news for every other Republican running. Now,
- 5:10Speaker 1: let's dive into these counts so that you also understand
- 5:13Speaker 1: what he's been charged with. There's thirty one counts of
- 5:18Speaker 1: willful retention of national defense information under the Espionage Act.
- 5:25Speaker 1: That's the majority of the counts that are against Donald J.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Trump.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Each count pertains to a specific classified document found at
- 5:32Speaker 1: mar Lago Mark's secret.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Or top secret.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's the case in essence, same type of documents, by
- 5:39Speaker 1: the way, that were being held by the Vice President
- 5:42Speaker 1: Mike Pence, who's running. Remember, he found classified documents in
- 5:45Speaker 1: his possession, but they didn't charge him with crimes because
- 5:48Speaker 1: he was quote working with them. They said Joe Biden
- 5:51Speaker 1: had classified documents dating back to his time in the Senate.
- 5:57Speaker 1: That's thirty years ago to forty years ago. Now there's
- 6:04Speaker 1: a special prosecutor involved in that, to be clear, But
- 6:08Speaker 1: what I can tell you is it's also very clear
- 6:12Speaker 1: that they are not worried about being indicted. They are
- 6:16Speaker 1: claiming they are quote cooperating and giving back the documents,
- 6:19Speaker 1: so everything should be fine for them. Is there a
- 6:21Speaker 1: double standard, No doubt about it. That'll be part of
- 6:23Speaker 1: the defense that Donald Trump uses that just so you know.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Other charges against Donald Trump include conspiracy to obstruct, corruptly
- 6:36Speaker 1: concealing a document or record, concealing a document and a
- 6:41Speaker 1: federal investigation, and making false statements.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Now Trump isn't the only one being charged.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Just so you know, this has also not been covered
- 6:50Speaker 1: by the media, and I think it's important that you
- 6:52Speaker 1: hear this and understand it.
- 6:55Speaker 2: An aid to Donald Trump. Walt not A was.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Charged as a co conspirator with six felony counts six
- 7:05Speaker 1: different counts against him.
- 7:06Speaker 2: The media has not been talking about that.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Now for the classified documents that lead to the quote
- 7:14Speaker 1: will for retention counts. Topics addressed in the documents the
- 7:18Speaker 1: DOJ is now released in this indictment include details they
- 7:21Speaker 1: say about US nuclear weapons, the nuclear capabilities of a
- 7:25Speaker 1: foreign country, and the military activities or capabilities of other
- 7:31Speaker 1: countries they said. The conspiracy charges deal with Trump's alleged
- 7:36Speaker 1: attempts to hide documents they claim from his lawyer or
- 7:40Speaker 1: from federal investigators.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Is the claim.
- 7:44Speaker 1: The false statement charges stem from Trump causing his lawyer
- 7:47Speaker 1: to tell the FBI that no more classified documents were
- 7:50Speaker 1: at mar Lago, but then the FBI later found out
- 7:53Speaker 1: that there were more than one hundred documents during that
- 7:56Speaker 1: August twenty two raid. Accused of sharing classify information. The
- 8:02Speaker 1: indictment alleges that Trump showed classified documents to people who
- 8:05Speaker 1: didn't have security clearance on two different occasions. The most
- 8:10Speaker 1: serious charges carry potential prison sentences of up to twenty
- 8:13Speaker 1: years each. Judges have discretion and if convicted, first time
- 8:18Speaker 1: offenders rarely get anywhere near the max sentence. Being a
- 8:22Speaker 1: former president would also likely be a major consideration in
- 8:25Speaker 1: any sentencing, as it should, because this is going to
- 8:29Speaker 1: divide the country like never before. I just have to
- 8:33Speaker 1: step back, and I got to think about this idea
- 8:35Speaker 1: of an OJ Simpson trial, except it's Donald Trump. Donald
- 8:40Speaker 1: Trump on trial, sitting there to desk day after day.
- 8:42Speaker 1: This trial could take weeks or months, maybe even longer.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I mean it really could. It could take an incredible
- 8:49Speaker 1: amount of time to figure this out.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It is shocking when you think.
- 8:55Speaker 1: About it, truly truly shocking to think about the idea
- 8:59Speaker 1: of a former president and that's it's in America, sitting
- 9:01Speaker 1: there on trial and us watching it live.
- 9:04Speaker 2: That's not normal. But this is what Democrats want.
- 9:08Speaker 1: They want to weaken him, but they also think it
- 9:10Speaker 1: may actually help him win the primary. Now, let me
- 9:13Speaker 1: explain to you the primary aspect of this, because this
- 9:16Speaker 1: is important that you understand it. The thinking in the
- 9:20Speaker 1: Democratic Party is that Donald Trump is the best candidate
- 9:24Speaker 1: to go up against in the general election. Why do
- 9:26Speaker 1: they believe that they hate They say, hey, we already
- 9:28Speaker 1: beat him once. He's undisciplined, he's a erratic. You can't
- 9:32Speaker 1: keep him on focus, and Joe Biden beat him once,
- 9:36Speaker 1: he can beat him again.
- 9:39Speaker 2: That's their thinking.
- 9:40Speaker 1: They believe that he'll he can't get out of his
- 9:43Speaker 1: own way, he won't listen to his advisors, he won't
- 9:47Speaker 1: pay attention to the subject matter, and he'll make everything
- 9:50Speaker 1: personal and they can get him off track, and that's
- 9:52Speaker 1: how they'll beat him.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That's what they believe.
- 9:56Speaker 1: And they believe that there's a very good chance that
- 9:58Speaker 1: they will be able to win again if he is
- 10:00Speaker 1: the candid they're up against. Now. They are more worried
- 10:02Speaker 1: about other Republicans than the primaries because they believe that
- 10:06Speaker 1: they might be more palatable to the country in a
- 10:08Speaker 1: general election.
- 10:11Speaker 2: So Democrats don't mind if.
- 10:13Speaker 1: This solidifies the base, because this is who they want
- 10:16Speaker 1: to run against. They want Donald Trump to be the nominatee.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Whether they're thinking is right or wrong is I don't
- 10:22Speaker 1: care about the moment. I'm just wanting you to understand
- 10:24Speaker 1: the democratic mentality. They're loving this idea. I mean, they
- 10:30Speaker 1: are loving the idea of Donald Trump being indicted, being
- 10:37Speaker 1: in a trial, and the Republican Party rallying behind him.
- 10:41Speaker 2: They love this idea.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Now you go back to the if any of these
- 10:48Speaker 1: charges stick, and this is going to play out in
- 10:50Speaker 1: a courtroom in Florida. Just so you know, the most
- 10:53Speaker 1: serious charges carry potential prison senses of up to twenty
- 10:56Speaker 1: years each. Judges have discretion, and I can first time
- 11:00Speaker 1: offenders usually don't get that, but they could. But if
- 11:03Speaker 1: you take into account Donald Trump's age here, this would
- 11:10Speaker 1: in essence be a life sentence. Trump's court appearances will
- 11:17Speaker 1: become national news, international news.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Trump has also made his first public statement following the indictment.
- 11:25Speaker 1: He was in Columbus, Georgia. He was very clear there
- 11:30Speaker 1: that this is nothing more than a witch hunt, the
- 11:32Speaker 1: same witch hunts he's dealt with before, in fact, the
- 11:35Speaker 1: same thing that they've been harassing him since the day.
- 11:38Speaker 1: As he describes, he came down the staircase right at
- 11:41Speaker 1: Trump Tower. I want you to hear what Donald Trump
- 11:44Speaker 1: said about the bias in the media and also the
- 11:47Speaker 1: bias of the DOJ and the Democratic Party.
- 11:50Speaker 3: He'll continue to watch this.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Yesterday in Columbus, every time I fly over a blue state,
- 11:58Speaker 4: I get a subpoena. It's no coincidence they indicted me
- 12:03Speaker 4: the very same day that it was revealed that the
- 12:05Speaker 4: FBI hit explosive evidence that Joe Biden took a five
- 12:08Speaker 4: million dollar illegal bride from Ukraine. Next, Hunter will probably
- 12:14Speaker 4: be charged with some very minor offense so that the
- 12:16Speaker 4: FBI and DOJ can pretend.
- 12:19Speaker 2: That they're fair.
- 12:20Speaker 4: They want to pretend they're fair. We got Hunter for jaywalking.
- 12:26Speaker 4: As far as the joke of an indictment, it's a
- 12:29Speaker 4: horrible thing. It's a horrible thing for this country. I mean,
- 12:34Speaker 4: the only good thing about it is it's driven my
- 12:38Speaker 4: poll numbers way up.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Can you believe that he's right? And Democrats don't seem
- 12:43Speaker 1: to mind that. Now there's also another chance that the
- 12:46Speaker 1: president could be indicted and I believe he'll probably be
- 12:48Speaker 1: indicted again, this time in Georgia for they say election interference.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The reason why I believe he'll be indicted there is
- 12:56Speaker 1: because at this point, after they did what they did
- 12:59Speaker 1: in New York City with Alvin Bragg, there's nothing stopping
- 13:02Speaker 1: these rogue prosecutors from doing it over and over and
- 13:05Speaker 1: over again. They love this idea. They want this to happen.
- 13:07Speaker 1: They think it's amazing. They can't wait for this to
- 13:12Speaker 1: continue because they believe that this is how you take
- 13:17Speaker 1: him out, and they've been wanting to take him out
- 13:19Speaker 1: since the very beginning. Now, I don't know how anyone
- 13:24Speaker 1: else beats Donald Trump in the primary. If the election
- 13:29Speaker 1: was today, he would win overwhelmingly. Can things change, Sure,
- 13:32Speaker 1: they can change. But this Special Council Jack Smith, he
- 13:36Speaker 1: believes that you guys will not show up for him
- 13:39Speaker 1: in massive numbers in the general and he believes that
- 13:42Speaker 1: the Democrats will be able to win. He also lied
- 13:46Speaker 1: to you, Special counsel Jack Smith, mayde it very clear.
- 13:49Speaker 1: He said that you know, not only did the Grand
- 13:51Speaker 1: Jury of Citizens come back with this, but he said,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, you need to understand that we have one
- 13:56Speaker 1: system of one tier of justice here that is equally
- 13:58Speaker 1: applied to both sides.
- 13:59Speaker 2: No, it's not was.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Hillary Clinton would have been indicted for the same thing.
- 14:02Speaker 1: So would Mike Pence for that matter, so would Joe Biden,
- 14:06Speaker 1: So would Barack Obama, so would Jimmy Carter, so would
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know, George Bush and every other living president. But
- 14:15Speaker 1: they're making this step up as they go because they
- 14:17Speaker 1: want to take out their political enemy.
- 14:19Speaker 5: Today, an indict Muslim sealed, charging Donald J. Trump with
- 14:24Speaker 5: felony violations of our national security laws as well as
- 14:28Speaker 5: participating in a conspiracy to obstruct justice. This indictment was
- 14:34Speaker 5: voted by a grand jury of citizens in the Southern
- 14:36Speaker 5: District of Florida, and I invite everyone to read it
- 14:39Speaker 5: in full to understand the scope and the gravity of
- 14:43Speaker 5: the crimes charged. The men and women of the United
- 14:48Speaker 5: States Intelligence community and our armed forces dedicate their lives
- 14:52Speaker 5: to protecting our nation and its people. Our laws that
- 14:57Speaker 5: protect national defense information are critical the safety and security
- 15:02Speaker 5: of the United States, and they must be enforced. Violations
- 15:08Speaker 5: of those laws put our country at risk. Adherence to
- 15:13Speaker 5: the rule of law is a bedrock principle of the
- 15:15Speaker 5: Department of Justice, and our nation's commitment to the rule
- 15:19Speaker 5: of law sets an example for the world. We have
- 15:24Speaker 5: one set of laws in this country, and they apply
- 15:26Speaker 5: to everyone. Applying those laws, collecting facts. That's what determines
- 15:32Speaker 5: the outcome of an investigation. Nothing more and nothing less.
- 15:40Speaker 1: We know he's a liar. The law is not applied
- 15:43Speaker 1: equally to both sides. That's the biggest lot of crap
- 15:46Speaker 1: I've heard all day.
- 15:48Speaker 2: And he knows it. He knows.
- 15:55Speaker 1: That they have not gone after Joe Biden the same
- 15:58Speaker 1: way they've gone after Donald Trump. Molly Hemingway said the
- 16:03Speaker 1: most important part of the Trump indictment is the broader
- 16:05Speaker 1: context here. She's right, she said, the larger context here
- 16:09Speaker 1: is important. I don't think people would have been willing
- 16:12Speaker 1: to hear from a Department of Justice that they needed
- 16:14Speaker 1: to indict their top political opponent and hear that in
- 16:17Speaker 1: good faith if we hadn't experienced what we have for
- 16:20Speaker 1: the last six years from the Department of Justice. In
- 16:24Speaker 1: other words, they've lost faith and trust in the system.
- 16:27Speaker 1: They have gone rogue in the system. I also think
- 16:31Speaker 1: it's important that we understand this. You have a DOJ
- 16:38Speaker 1: that it interfere in the twenty sixteen election and the
- 16:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty elections, and now they're interfering in the twenty
- 16:44Speaker 1: twenty four election. And while they're doing all this, the
- 16:49Speaker 1: Treasury Department has had these financial records about Hunter Biden
- 16:52Speaker 1: and Jim Biden and the foreign business dealings, and apparently
- 16:55Speaker 1: had the records on the five million dollar bribery scheme
- 16:58Speaker 1: between Barisma bribing the the United States of America, and
- 17:01Speaker 1: they didn't do a damn thing about it. Why because
- 17:03Speaker 1: they love him and they're on the same team. Let
- 17:06Speaker 1: me say that again. It's because they love him and
- 17:09Speaker 1: they're on the same team. President Trump also said something
- 17:15Speaker 1: else that is spot on. Why did they come out
- 17:20Speaker 1: and announced they were indicting him the same exact day
- 17:23Speaker 1: that they came out and said that we know that
- 17:26Speaker 1: the president of the United States of America is being
- 17:28Speaker 1: accused of taking a five million dollar bribe from the
- 17:32Speaker 1: Barisma company to get the prosecutor fired, which, by the way,
- 17:35Speaker 1: he did and bragged about it publicly.
- 17:38Speaker 2: You know the answer.
- 17:40Speaker 1: They didn't want that to be the story, so it
- 17:43Speaker 1: was like, okay, now release the story and then it'll
- 17:48Speaker 1: work to your advantage, right Like, do it now, no brainer,
- 17:51Speaker 1: knock it out now right then we'll be fine.
- 17:55Speaker 2: That's how corrupt these people are.
- 17:58Speaker 1: They will wait and then diet a former president in
- 18:01Speaker 1: the moment when they need it the most, when the
- 18:03Speaker 1: American people might actually find out that the president of
- 18:06Speaker 1: the United States of America is being accused of taking
- 18:08Speaker 1: a five million dollars bribe with money that we know
- 18:13Speaker 1: has come in from suspicious activity reports, that's when they
- 18:17Speaker 1: decide to do it. Now, think about how messed up
- 18:19Speaker 1: that is. Byron Donald's had this to say on Fox
- 18:25Speaker 1: about all of this take a listen.
- 18:28Speaker 6: If you've had this information since twenty fifteen, there are
- 18:31Speaker 6: several documents that speak to this. We already know that
- 18:35Speaker 6: there are financial records that the Department of Treasury has
- 18:38Speaker 6: about a lot of these business dealings surrounding Hunter Biden
- 18:41Speaker 6: and Jim Biden, and we all know the only reason
- 18:44Speaker 6: people even give them a red scent is because of
- 18:46Speaker 6: Joe Biden's position in our government. If you know this
- 18:50Speaker 6: and nobody looks into this, it reeks of the hypocrisy
- 18:54Speaker 6: at the FBI and the Department of Justice where they
- 18:56Speaker 6: will literally take phony information from Hillary Clinton to start
- 19:01Speaker 6: the Trump Russia collusion scandal saga. But then this information
- 19:05Speaker 6: comes forward and they do nothing. They put it in
- 19:08Speaker 6: a box. It's disgusting.
- 19:11Speaker 1: It is disgusting. Congressman Byron Donald's Republican from Florida, is
- 19:15Speaker 1: absolutely right. And what he just said there, Jim Jordan,
- 19:19Speaker 1: by the way, asked about you know all of this right,
- 19:24Speaker 1: he's investigating it. And Jim Jordan was asked to go
- 19:30Speaker 1: on CNN Sunday Morning to talk about the Hillary Clinton
- 19:35Speaker 1: and the Joe Biden Hunter Biden stuff where they ask
- 19:39Speaker 1: him about oh no, no, no, the classification of documents.
- 19:44Speaker 1: He said this about how political it was when he
- 19:47Speaker 1: was fighting back.
- 19:49Speaker 7: In this indictment, he states in on at least one occasion,
- 19:53Speaker 7: that he did.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Not declassify the information.
- 19:56Speaker 4: When he's showing a document to somebody who doesn't have
- 19:59Speaker 4: a security clearance, I.
- 20:01Speaker 8: Might add, he says explicitly that it is classified. He
- 20:04Speaker 8: didn't declassify.
- 20:05Speaker 7: It, Danna. He has said time and time again he's
- 20:09Speaker 7: declassified all this material. This is this is the most
- 20:13Speaker 7: political thing I have ever seen. They've been out to
- 20:15Speaker 7: get president.
- 20:16Speaker 2: They're going to it.
- 20:17Speaker 7: They're indicting President Trump on Tuesday for having material that
- 20:20Speaker 7: he declassified that was protected by the Secret Service. One
- 20:24Speaker 7: of the people who are doing it is the administration,
- 20:26Speaker 7: the Justice Department, from his opponent in the upcoming presidential election.
- 20:31Speaker 7: I mean, this is as political as it gets, and frankly,
- 20:34Speaker 7: it's part of a pattern. We have seen it time
- 20:36Speaker 7: and time again with the president over the last seven years.
- 20:39Speaker 7: They try one thing, then they try another. They've continued
- 20:41Speaker 7: to go after him, and I think anyone with common
- 20:44Speaker 7: sense can see that.
- 20:46Speaker 1: I think he's right. Jim Jordan is right. They're going
- 20:49Speaker 1: after him with lies. They've gone after him. The dossier
- 20:52Speaker 1: that the Clinton's paid for and the DNC Democrat ask
- 20:54Speaker 1: can to be paid for?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Right?
- 20:57Speaker 1: I mean this is this is very clear that this
- 21:02Speaker 1: is how they're going to keep going after him, no
- 21:04Speaker 1: matter what. It doesn't matter, they are going to go
- 21:08Speaker 1: after him, no matter what. It's a broader context here.
- 21:15Speaker 1: The broader context is they will stop at nothing to
- 21:19Speaker 1: silence the president. They're right, they will stop at nothing
- 21:25Speaker 1: to silence a president of the United States of America.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Senator Johnson was asked about this Trump indictment over the
- 21:33Speaker 1: hand handling of the classified documents on Fox Sunday Morning
- 21:38Speaker 1: Futures with Maria Bartromo, and I want you to hear
- 21:41Speaker 1: part of what he had to say about this.
- 21:43Speaker 8: News of the indictment came just hours after the House
- 21:46Speaker 8: Oversight Committee finally got to see that document FBI document
- 21:51Speaker 8: alleging a criminal scheme tying then Vice President Joe Biden
- 21:54Speaker 8: to bribery. The document reportedly claims both Joe and Hunter
- 21:58Speaker 8: Biden received five millionion dollars apiece from an executive from
- 22:02Speaker 8: Barisma for what one source called pay to play. Join
- 22:06Speaker 8: me right now with more on all of this is
- 22:07Speaker 8: Wisconsin Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who has been at the
- 22:10Speaker 8: forefront in the investigation into President Biden and his family's
- 22:14Speaker 8: business deals. Senator, good to see you this morning. Thanks
- 22:16Speaker 8: so much for joining me. Your reaction to the indictment
- 22:20Speaker 8: against President Trump.
- 22:22Speaker 3: Well, when you consider the exoneration of Hillary Clinton, when
- 22:25Speaker 3: you consider the fraudulent and corrupt investigation on Russian collusion,
- 22:30Speaker 3: which was a complete lie and the FBI knew it was,
- 22:34Speaker 3: you put all these things together. The FBI Department Justice
- 22:38Speaker 3: interfered in the twenty sixteen election, in the twenty twenty
- 22:41Speaker 3: twenty election, and here we go again, there's going to
- 22:44Speaker 3: be interfering in the twenty twenty four election. They already
- 22:47Speaker 3: have what a mess. You know, obviously President Trump's going
- 22:51Speaker 3: to have an ability to defend himself. But will he
- 22:55Speaker 3: be able to defend himself quickly? Or is this going
- 22:57Speaker 3: to drag on and on and on. So it's hard
- 23:01Speaker 3: not to be suspicious of what the Department Justice is doing.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Once again, as you mentioned, the investigation Hunter Biden has
- 23:07Speaker 3: been dragging on for years. They're able to wrap up
- 23:10Speaker 3: this investigation very rapidly. In addition, they announce it pretty
- 23:15Speaker 3: much the same day when the details of the FBI
- 23:21Speaker 3: confidential human source is going to be revealed by members
- 23:24Speaker 3: of Congress. And I won't steal the Congresswomen's thunder here,
- 23:27Speaker 3: but it's all suspicious and it's just just a horrible mess.
- 23:32Speaker 8: Well what about the investigation into Hunter Biden. You've done
- 23:35Speaker 8: so much work on that over the years. Where does
- 23:39Speaker 8: that stand. We are going now on almost six years
- 23:43Speaker 8: that the Feds have been frozen on this investigation. They
- 23:46Speaker 8: got that laptop win in twenty.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Nineteen, correct, but they are investigating Hunter Biden as far
- 23:53Speaker 3: back as twenty eighteen. So this investigation is moving at
- 23:58Speaker 3: a glacier pace. We have a whistle blower coming into
- 24:01Speaker 3: our office saying that the US Attorney Wiss is not
- 24:03Speaker 3: out of the resource to do a proper investigation. But
- 24:06Speaker 3: what was interesting, Maria, Now that this FBI document has
- 24:10Speaker 3: been revealed, I've gone back and I've looked at the timeline,
- 24:14Speaker 3: and first of all, you have to understand the bidens. Certainly, Hunter,
- 24:18Speaker 3: I think probably Joe Biden as well, knew exactly the
- 24:20Speaker 3: type of people they're dealing with. Hunter's business partner who's
- 24:23Speaker 3: also on the border, Barisma Devon Archer, is now he
- 24:26Speaker 3: convicted Felon Patrick Hoe, who Hunter Biden was paid a
- 24:31Speaker 3: million dollars to defend against money laundering charges. Hunter Biden
- 24:35Speaker 3: called him the expedited, deleted spy chief of China. In
- 24:40Speaker 3: terms of Breizeman, that's what this five million dollar sounds like.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Ten million dollars of bride money paid. This all around
- 24:47Speaker 3: Bearisma and their corrupt oligarch, Mikola Zolceski. He was his
- 24:56Speaker 3: assets were seized by the UK in two thousand and fourteen,
- 25:00Speaker 3: same time when Hunter, Biden and Devon were joining the board.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Twenty fifteen, he was declared officially declared a fugitive. That's
- 25:08Speaker 3: when Andre That's when Victor Chokin was hired as a
- 25:11Speaker 3: prosecutor general. Twenty fifteen is we'll find out, is when
- 25:14Speaker 3: all this activity was going on with the Bidens. Twenty
- 25:17Speaker 3: sixteen is when Chokun opened up investigation and within three
- 25:23Speaker 3: months Chokun was fired. And that's about the same time
- 25:26Speaker 3: that Vice President Biden was talking to Poorshenko and demanding
- 25:30Speaker 3: the firing of Chokun. So it's incredibly corrupt, it's incredibly dirty.
- 25:36Speaker 3: The Bidens knew exactly the type people that you're dealing
- 25:38Speaker 3: with but the mainstream media has by and large ignored it.
- 25:41Speaker 2: But it is interesting.
- 25:41Speaker 3: The New York Times the tail end of December twenty
- 25:46Speaker 3: sixteen or twenty fifteen was actually writing a story about
- 25:49Speaker 3: the Bidens and this corrupt oligarch, but then they pretty
- 25:52Speaker 3: well dropped the lead.
- 25:54Speaker 8: It feels like American citizens are onto this corruption, even
- 25:58Speaker 8: though the mainstream media refused is to report on the
- 26:02Speaker 8: most serious charges leveled at a president ever, in my view,
- 26:07Speaker 8: the influence peddling. I heard from Lee Carter this morning,
- 26:11Speaker 8: the pollster, and she says this most recent poll that
- 26:14Speaker 8: she's looking at has corruption and crime at the number
- 26:18Speaker 8: one and number two issues for voters right now. So
- 26:20Speaker 8: do you think that people understand that part of this
- 26:24Speaker 8: is political. We're going to get into the details of
- 26:26Speaker 8: the indictment coming up with Alan Derschowitz. But you say
- 26:28Speaker 8: it is.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Political, Well, I think certainly almost about half of America
- 26:34Speaker 3: believes that. But again, the complicit, compliant, corrupt media, they're
- 26:38Speaker 3: not covering this thing honestly. And you know, Maria, I
- 26:40Speaker 3: also have to point out you talked about Preston breaking.
- 26:43Speaker 3: You know, President Ford decided it's best for America not
- 26:46Speaker 3: to pursue prosecution against President Nixon. President Trump pretty much
- 26:50Speaker 3: made the same decision, decided not to pursue any kind
- 26:52Speaker 3: of prosecution of Hillary Clinton. You know, Joe Biden could
- 26:56Speaker 3: have made the exact same decision, but he didn't. He
- 27:00Speaker 3: out a swat raid on a very secure residence of
- 27:03Speaker 3: President Trump over federal records, even though he was holding
- 27:07Speaker 3: classified records himself, So that record issue should have been
- 27:13Speaker 3: handled civilly. We never should be even in this place.
- 27:17Speaker 3: But these are decisions that President Biden made. As much
- 27:20Speaker 3: as he's probably lying about not talking to Justice Department
- 27:23Speaker 3: at all, that's pretty hard to believe when you understand
- 27:26Speaker 3: how many other lies President Biden has told the American public.
- 27:28Speaker 2: Johnson's right, he's lying.
- 27:32Speaker 1: There are many that are saying, Wow, he's just got
- 27:34Speaker 1: too much baggage now, and with too much baggage, what
- 27:37Speaker 1: that means is it's time for us to move on
- 27:39Speaker 1: to someone else.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Five three Are they headed on? Our should say?
- 27:44Speaker 1: One eight hundred four seven four nine seven three two
- 27:48Speaker 1: One eight hundred four seven four nine seven three two
- 27:52Speaker 1: Will you stick with Donald Trump? Are you more or
- 27:55Speaker 1: less likely to vote for him in a primary because
- 27:59Speaker 1: of this prosecution? One other thing that I want to
- 28:04Speaker 1: point out about what Senator Johnson said is the fact
- 28:07Speaker 1: that this has been going on now for so long,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and the DOJ and those that are supposed to be
- 28:13Speaker 1: doing the job of protecting the American people from corruption
- 28:17Speaker 1: seem to actually be involved in the corruption and then
- 28:20Speaker 1: helping cover it up. And the question then becomes, what
- 28:24Speaker 1: happens next, Right, what happens next? At that point, what
- 28:30Speaker 1: happens next? There has to be some sort of change
- 28:36Speaker 1: at the DOJ. You look at the media, they're communists,
- 28:40Speaker 1: their socialist media. The media has not been covering the
- 28:43Speaker 1: suspicious Biden family deal. They just won't cover it. And
- 28:47Speaker 1: the reason why they won't cover is because so damning.
- 28:50Speaker 1: But they're on the same team with the Biden so
- 28:52Speaker 1: they're going to protect them at all costs. Now, Donald
- 28:54Speaker 1: Trump will cover it wall to wall, will cover things
- 28:56Speaker 1: and get awards for for even some of our cover
- 29:00Speaker 1: is filled with nothing but lies.
- 29:01Speaker 2: That's another problem.
- 29:04Speaker 1: But at some point we're going to have to fight
- 29:06Speaker 1: this and we're gonna have to win, and we're going
- 29:08Speaker 1: to need to win for the future of this country. Now,
- 29:12Speaker 1: this primary is going to be messed up, but the
- 29:14Speaker 1: idea that we're going to see a president of the
- 29:16Speaker 1: United States of America on trial the same way that
- 29:18Speaker 1: we watched the O Dre Trill tells me that we're
- 29:21Speaker 1: losing this country and we better start fighting to protect
- 29:24Speaker 1: and defend it. A former president of the United States
- 29:28Speaker 1: of America should never be indicted the way that Donald
- 29:31Speaker 1: Trump is being indicted. By the way, that would also
- 29:33Speaker 1: mean that I'm saying that Joe Biden shouldn't be indicted
- 29:35Speaker 1: for his classified documents unless he was selling those classified
- 29:39Speaker 1: documents the highest bidder.
- 29:40Speaker 2: That's different. But we shouldn't go after Mike Pence.
- 29:44Speaker 1: We shouldn't go after Barack Obama, we shouldn't go after
- 29:47Speaker 1: George Bush, we shouldn't go after Jimmy Carter, any living
- 29:50Speaker 1: president for something as simple as having a document. Now
- 29:54Speaker 1: in the future, moving forward, should it be very clear
- 29:56Speaker 1: President that you can't do this ever again moving forward. Absolutely,
- 30:00Speaker 1: there should be that precedence. Okay, no doubt there should
- 30:03Speaker 1: be that precedent. I want to make that clear. But
- 30:06Speaker 1: the idea that we're going to lock up a former
- 30:08Speaker 1: president United to in America over a document having a
- 30:11Speaker 1: document that people are saying, well, you really shouldn't have
- 30:14Speaker 1: the document.
- 30:16Speaker 2: That's wrong.
- 30:18Speaker 1: There's a picture, and I think it really shows you
- 30:22Speaker 1: the laughability of the left on a Navara, who's just
- 30:26Speaker 1: a gosh, he's an awful person. On the View and
- 30:28Speaker 1: on CNN she posts a picture of these documents in
- 30:32Speaker 1: a you know, in the bathroom Marlago you've probably seen
- 30:34Speaker 1: it now, says.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Quote, the gravity of this case is very serious.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But we can talk about how freaking tacky and dated
- 30:41Speaker 1: Marlago is for a minute, question mark. I mean, they
- 30:44Speaker 1: don't even sell low to the ground mage toilets anymore.
- 30:49Speaker 1: The shower rod is one of those cheap extendable plastic
- 30:52Speaker 1: thingies that keeps falling off the wall at the lightest tug.
- 30:55Speaker 1: And the shower curtain you can get them in Amazon
- 30:58Speaker 1: for four n nine. You telling me all these these
- 31:01Speaker 1: boogiey people actually pay a quarter million dollars to belong
- 31:03Speaker 1: to this dump. I actually am glad that she wrote
- 31:07Speaker 1: this because it shows you the level of Trump derangement syndrome.
- 31:17Speaker 1: This is Trump derangement syndrome. These are the psychos of
- 31:23Speaker 1: the left. They just want to beat him, folks, that's
- 31:26Speaker 1: all it is. Wayne Navarro said that she just.
- 31:28Speaker 2: Wants to beat him.
- 31:30Speaker 1: That's her take because she knows the case is so weak.
- 31:33Speaker 1: She's going to comment on the on the bathroom right.
- 31:36Speaker 1: These documents are there, there's a picture, and that's her critique.
- 31:40Speaker 1: That's how petty they are, and that's how psycho they
- 31:42Speaker 1: are about bringing him down. Who would want to be
- 31:45Speaker 1: a member of this place? Who would want to be
- 31:47Speaker 1: a member?
- 31:48Speaker 2: It's pathetic, It is absolutely pathetic. We're going to cover this,
- 31:54Speaker 2: by the way, all week long on our podcast, so
- 31:57Speaker 2: make sure you download the Ben Ferguson podcast. We do
