- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show man, Yeah, I do. Man. God been good
- 2:14Speaker 1: to me. Man, He's been so good to me. Wow.
- 2:22Speaker 1: You know why I say it like that. What makes
- 2:24Speaker 1: it amazing is because it's been in spite of myself.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I mean you know what I mean by that. I
- 2:30Speaker 1: mean I mean that he's been good to me in
- 2:34Speaker 1: spite of all the craziness I've done, all the foolishness
- 2:39Speaker 1: I've gotten myself involved with, and not only got but
- 2:43Speaker 1: knowingly got myself involved with, all of the stupid decisions
- 2:49Speaker 1: I've made. Put all that to the side, and he's
- 2:54Speaker 1: still been good to me. Bring it all and put
- 2:57Speaker 1: it on the plate, and he's still been good to me. Man.
- 3:00Speaker 1: That's amazing man. And I'm sure there's a lot of
- 3:03Speaker 1: people that can say the exact same thing. I mean,
- 3:06Speaker 1: come on, man, I got you, ain't famous, I got anybody,
- 3:10Speaker 1: got no microphone in your face, I got nobody, ain't
- 3:12Speaker 1: got no spotlight on you. I got nobody, ain't got
- 3:14Speaker 1: no came in your face. I got nobody problem. Ain't
- 3:16Speaker 1: your body blogging about you. But let me tell you so,
- 3:19Speaker 1: if you break it down and be real about it, Oh,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you haven't done something outside the box. You haven't done
- 3:25Speaker 1: something ladies included, you've done something out the box. You
- 3:28Speaker 1: woke up and went what did I do that for? Oh?
- 3:32Speaker 1: We've all done it. So when all that said and done,
- 3:37Speaker 1: God still loves you, man, God still loves you, still
- 3:41Speaker 1: wants you the best for you, still considers you his child.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And and it's willing, it's willing man to show you
- 3:48Speaker 1: your future. He is willing to show you your life.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He is willing to let you take a peek at
- 3:55Speaker 1: the blueprint. Man. That's an amazing God right there. Because
- 3:59Speaker 1: I don't I know, I couldn't do it. I couldn't
- 4:02Speaker 1: do it. I'm glad it's him, you know. Today, man,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I want to encourage brothers out there. And when I
- 4:07Speaker 1: say brothers, I'm talking to everybody that's of the male species.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I don't care about your color. I really really don't.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I don't even have time for that in my day
- 4:15Speaker 1: a matter a matter of fact. Sometimes when you get
- 4:18Speaker 1: to discussing race, I just get tired of it. Sometimes
- 4:21Speaker 1: I just wish, you know, some days I just want
- 4:23Speaker 1: to wake up, just do me. You know, I got
- 4:26Speaker 1: what what what the skin tone is? I got that.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But I just want to wake up some days and
- 4:31Speaker 1: just going by my business and do me. I don't
- 4:33Speaker 1: want to have to deal with it. Somebody. I get
- 4:34Speaker 1: tired of talking about the issues. Ain't gonna make them
- 4:36Speaker 1: go away. But sometimes I get tired. So the damn
- 4:38Speaker 1: talking to brothers, all the brothers of the male species.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about men today. Man, If if you ain't
- 4:47Speaker 1: doing it all, if you're feeling empty, man, start today
- 4:50Speaker 1: completing your process and your journey. And you know what
- 4:54Speaker 1: I'm saying by that, if there's a part of you
- 4:57Speaker 1: just missing as a man, and and now man, I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: talking to you, so you know some ladies listening, but
- 5:04Speaker 1: you know what I'm talking about. It it's some part
- 5:06Speaker 1: of you that's missing as a man, if you ain't
- 5:10Speaker 1: really been in touch with your kids like you supposed
- 5:12Speaker 1: to now for whatever the reason is. And please no,
- 5:16Speaker 1: I do understand how sometimes women can use children as pawns.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It happens all the time. I've been through it. I've
- 5:26Speaker 1: been through it, man, I know what it feels like,
- 5:28Speaker 1: man to want to do something. But because you ain't
- 5:31Speaker 1: got this, or you ain't doing this, then I ain't
- 5:33Speaker 1: gonna let you have this. You gotta fight through, fellas,
- 5:37Speaker 1: you got to fight through. You got to fulfill your
- 5:42Speaker 1: end of the deal. And I got how difficult they're
- 5:45Speaker 1: making it. I got how man, it's gonna come with
- 5:48Speaker 1: some drama, but you gotta fight through it. Because man,
- 5:51Speaker 1: we need fathers to be fathers. That's really what we need.
- 5:55Speaker 1: If you're a man out there and you are a
- 5:57Speaker 1: father of a child, we need you do your job.
- 6:01Speaker 1: We I'm talking about the our community, our situation, us
- 6:07Speaker 1: as a people, all of us. We need you to
- 6:10Speaker 1: be a father. Period. Hey man, I ain't coming down
- 6:15Speaker 1: on you. I'm just your boy. I'm your man, and
- 6:18Speaker 1: I've been in the same predicament, in the same hole myself,
- 6:23Speaker 1: where I couldn't get to them, where they were used
- 6:25Speaker 1: as pawns, where they were told things about me that
- 6:29Speaker 1: wasn't even true. I've been through it. You can't see them,
- 6:33Speaker 1: you don't come on, okay, okay, I got all that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You ain't sent this. You ain't okay, hey, hey, got
- 6:37Speaker 1: all that. If if you can call them sometimes, tell
- 6:43Speaker 1: them you're thinking about them, tell them you love them.
- 6:46Speaker 1: If you can get a letter to them, if you
- 6:49Speaker 1: can get a message to your children through one of
- 6:51Speaker 1: your relatives, start the process today. Be a father. It's
- 6:58Speaker 1: your job now. Because you ignore him, or you acting
- 7:01Speaker 1: like they ain't over there, or you to back him
- 7:04Speaker 1: out of your mind because the situation got too difficult.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I got that, I got that. But you got to
- 7:10Speaker 1: step up and be fatherless. You got to write a letter.
- 7:13Speaker 1: You gotta send the money if she talking about it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: If you don't send all the money, you ain't gonna
- 7:17Speaker 1: see him. Send what you got if she if taking
- 7:19Speaker 1: it over there's too much drama, Send it through a relative,
- 7:22Speaker 1: Give it to a mama, give it to her sister,
- 7:24Speaker 1: ask her to take it over there and do something
- 7:26Speaker 1: for the baby because okay, okay, you can't deal with
- 7:29Speaker 1: the drama. I got that, and I know it's much
- 7:32Speaker 1: to pay when you had to deal with that, because
- 7:35Speaker 1: I clearly I know hell have no fury like a
- 7:38Speaker 1: woman scorn. Please know. I know that. Please know. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: that's a real statement. That ain't no saying. Steve got that,
- 7:45Speaker 1: that's the truth. But do what you gotta do. Sometimes
- 7:50Speaker 1: you have to apologize. Sometimes an apology goes a long
- 7:54Speaker 1: way to your children. Just hey, look, because I've made
- 7:58Speaker 1: this apology before. Hey man, look, I'm sorry. I wasn't
- 8:03Speaker 1: there for you. I was out grinding and hustling and
- 8:06Speaker 1: I wasn't paying attention to you, and I should have been.
- 8:10Speaker 1: And I apologize now. I imagine, man, there's days where
- 8:13Speaker 1: you was telling people I was your father up at
- 8:15Speaker 1: the school and they wasn't believing you. I apologize for
- 8:18Speaker 1: sending you through that. But now, man, I'll tell you what.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I made some mistakes, and I got it together. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: want me and you to move forward as father and son.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I want me and you to move forward as father
- 8:30Speaker 1: and daughter. I want to be in your life. I
- 8:33Speaker 1: ain't got a lot, but guess what, I know a lot,
- 8:36Speaker 1: because if you're a man and you a father, please
- 8:38Speaker 1: know you know something that child don't know. You have information,
- 8:41Speaker 1: you have experience. That's all they need sometimes to have
- 8:45Speaker 1: somebody to talk to. That daughter yours just needs to
- 8:49Speaker 1: know from her daddy, how should a man treat me? Dad?
- 8:54Speaker 1: What should I look for in a man? See, they'll
- 8:56Speaker 1: take that information from you because they know it's coming
- 8:59Speaker 1: from the right place. And then you know that your
- 9:02Speaker 1: son needs you because you know how difficult it is
- 9:06Speaker 1: if you're trying to be a man without your daddy.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You already know how funky that is right there. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: come on, man and match your mistakes and move forward.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Call your kids, write a letter, get a phone number
- 9:19Speaker 1: on them, send a text, drop a message, send a
- 9:22Speaker 1: note up to the school. Do something. Man. If those
- 9:26Speaker 1: of us that are fathers would just be fathers, I
- 9:31Speaker 1: could shut the mentor and camp down. Now. I will
- 9:36Speaker 1: say I apologize because I don't want you to think
- 9:38Speaker 1: I'm coming down on you. But I've been through this myself.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I ain't really coming down. I'm just reminding you this
- 9:44Speaker 1: is our job. These are our children, this is our responsibility.
- 9:48Speaker 1: We all men. There is no excuses. You don't get,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you don't get. Cut a break on that one. Sorry,
- 9:55Speaker 1: you're listening, Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your undivided attention. Please.
- 10:03Speaker 1: You know what's going down, don't you. I'm pretty sure
- 10:06Speaker 1: you do, because it happens on a daily basis. This
- 10:10Speaker 1: right here, let me tell you something. Do not get
- 10:13Speaker 1: this thing twisted. Now, what you're listening to is actually
- 10:20Speaker 1: the absolute best morning show of all times. Bar No,
- 10:30Speaker 1: it's a fact. It's a fact, man, it really is history.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah, Shirley Strong,
- 10:46Speaker 1: twenty years strong, baby, Good morning, Colin Farrell. I've been
- 10:52Speaker 1: working Junior, I his redge. I was the greatest hipper
- 11:01Speaker 1: morning show. In a history book yesterday I read it's
- 11:05Speaker 1: in there. I love it. Ladies, Jimmy jafferd brought up
- 11:09Speaker 1: me and this negro right here, go way way back.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Neither one of us had a damn thing. I mean nothing, nothing, nothing.
- 11:20Speaker 1: God is good a time time, all that time. What up,
- 11:26Speaker 1: Steve Hardy, Ladies and gentlemen, nephew, Timmy, uh huh. Eighteen
- 11:36Speaker 1: years on the radio, fifteen years, fifty two years in
- 11:42Speaker 1: my life. Yeah, yeah, wow you Yeah, yeah, I got
- 11:49Speaker 1: I got number. Yeah. You know what, you know what,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you ain't sick. You ain't sick at us as got
- 12:01Speaker 1: healthy until you get sick, you ain't got a damn
- 12:06Speaker 1: thing on. Not the healthy hater and get sick and
- 12:13Speaker 1: then come back and talk to him and you know
- 12:14Speaker 1: what I'm yeah, you're you're one of the baddest who's
- 12:17Speaker 1: ever done sick though. Yeah, I have to give it.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Yeah you and Alex trebec I went to my doctor
- 12:25Speaker 1: all day all day yesterday. I was getting a chema
- 12:28Speaker 1: on all day from six in the morning until you know,
- 12:31Speaker 1: like maybe four o'clock. So good news and lyft notes
- 12:34Speaker 1: are going away, you know, yeah, look at God going down.
- 12:38Speaker 1: They're shrinking, but they shrinking my blood. I'm feeling good.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I'm good. So is good man. I'm feeling good man.
- 12:48Speaker 1: And thanks to all the people who listen to the show,
- 12:50Speaker 1: who stopped me on the street and say, man, were
- 12:52Speaker 1: praying for you. Just people you don't know who just
- 12:55Speaker 1: come up to you and go, we're praying for you, man,
- 12:57Speaker 1: you know, just you know, just praying for you. Can
- 13:00Speaker 1: I have a dollar? I'm like a dollar? Yeah, you
- 13:06Speaker 1: were saying something really interesting off here as well. We
- 13:09Speaker 1: were talking about all the love you're getting and everything.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It is amazing how many people you know, I mean,
- 13:17Speaker 1: we know there's a lot of people that listen to
- 13:18Speaker 1: the show. But the love that you know that you
- 13:21Speaker 1: don't know, You've never seen these people and they come
- 13:23Speaker 1: up and they hug you, and then we're pulling for you.
- 13:25Speaker 1: This is I mean, the love is amazing, it really is,
- 13:28Speaker 1: and it really helps you on bad days. Coming up
- 13:32Speaker 1: at thirty two after the hour, the second announcement in
- 13:36Speaker 1: as many weeks from our fearless leader Steve Harvey. Right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after this, you're listening stew All right, guys, look, this
- 13:49Speaker 1: is so manzing. We need another drum wrong because you
- 13:53Speaker 1: know when you want to ask what is he doing now?
- 13:56Speaker 1: This is one of those times, what is Steve Harvey doing? Now?
- 14:01Speaker 1: Last week we told you about the big announcement in Africa,
- 14:05Speaker 1: going to be doing family Feud in Africa with Steve Harvey.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Now is a drum roll, drum and rolling. Okay, there
- 14:13Speaker 1: it is all right, it's rolling, it's drumming all of that. Okay,
- 14:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. This is so exciting. Steve Harvey is on
- 14:22Speaker 1: the board of Directors and has entered into a strategic
- 14:26Speaker 1: agreement for content development and promotion of Anthem Sports and Entertainment.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So you're saying to yourself, what is Anthem Sports can Entertainment?
- 14:38Speaker 1: What Anthem and Entertainment? I said it, Well, Jay, Anthem
- 14:43Speaker 1: is a global I said global. There's that word again,
- 14:47Speaker 1: global media company, which has a portfolio of channels that
- 14:51Speaker 1: includes get this, fighting and wrestling entertainment, what TV game shows,
- 14:58Speaker 1: what your hunting and fishing shows? And more? Oh my god,
- 15:06Speaker 1: what I mean? W e y Dave mean junior? Junior?
- 15:14Speaker 1: Do you know what that means? Right right somewhere, Tommy,
- 15:22Speaker 1: you'll be fishing. This is a wait a minute. They
- 15:31Speaker 1: said your career was over though it's supposed to be through. Yeah,
- 15:36Speaker 1: what are you doing? Yeah? They did. You're talking about
- 15:39Speaker 1: the haters? They they are? They say, yeah, you know
- 15:43Speaker 1: they are. Steve. They said, you ain't acting like your
- 15:46Speaker 1: answer is done. Let's Steve down. Yeah. I appreciate your humility,
- 15:52Speaker 1: I really do. But this this is major. I mean,
- 15:54Speaker 1: tell us about this global partnership with Anthem Sports and Entertainment.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm assuming it's actually, um, it's a big deal. And
- 16:03Speaker 1: Mark Cuban, Uh, the game show owner of the Dallas
- 16:07Speaker 1: Maverick was a huge part of the anthem peace and
- 16:12Speaker 1: so uh some people bought it to me. BC Partners
- 16:16Speaker 1: bought a deal to me. Uh. This has been going
- 16:19Speaker 1: on for about almost two years. Wow. It took two
- 16:23Speaker 1: years to negotiate all the terms and everything. And I
- 16:27Speaker 1: was fortunate enough just to be one of those people
- 16:30Speaker 1: that was in the right place at the right time
- 16:33Speaker 1: as an investor. You're an investor, yeah, I mean, you know,
- 16:38Speaker 1: that's what it is. That's how you get uh, you know, equity.
- 16:42Speaker 1: So you're a bad boy. I just happened to be
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the right place at the right time. Yeah, I
- 16:47Speaker 1: have a little money, and so uh you know, we
- 16:53Speaker 1: we we structured the deal because they're bringing me on
- 16:57Speaker 1: as a content provider amongst other things, promotional will, all
- 17:04Speaker 1: things like that. You know. It's very interesting because it
- 17:06Speaker 1: came along and you know, they first approached me about
- 17:10Speaker 1: some ideas and then they talked. They saw some pictures
- 17:13Speaker 1: of me fishing a long time ago. Nasmy was a
- 17:16Speaker 1: navide sports fan, and I said sports, but I'm not
- 17:19Speaker 1: a sportsman like hunting. I don't hunt. I'm not a hunter.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I say, but I do fish. They said, that's that's
- 17:25Speaker 1: that's close enough. But you know, your TV career is
- 17:28Speaker 1: so vast man, we liked talk to you about how
- 17:31Speaker 1: you did it. So we sat out and we started
- 17:32Speaker 1: working and all we just worked through a bunch of stuff, man,
- 17:35Speaker 1: and you know, not saying what all it is, but
- 17:39Speaker 1: it's it's a very promising package that was put together.
- 17:43Speaker 1: And so my lawyers worked on it tirelessly. My team
- 17:48Speaker 1: was on it tirelessly. God was in his God was
- 17:51Speaker 1: in his element doing what he'd do. Yes, and he
- 17:55Speaker 1: put the opportunity there, and the deal got signed and
- 17:58Speaker 1: announcements went out, uh, yesterday. Wow. And so God is
- 18:04Speaker 1: good man. I'm moving the brand forward on a lot
- 18:08Speaker 1: of levels. And so you know, think I thank God,
- 18:12Speaker 1: but you know I mostly think. Man. It's like Jay
- 18:15Speaker 1: was talking about, you know, I thank God for people
- 18:18Speaker 1: out there who pray for me. Who who who? Who? Who?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Who are real fans who have my best interest? You know,
- 18:25Speaker 1: you know how many times I heard people say I
- 18:27Speaker 1: can't wait to see what he gonna do next, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: that right there has always been encouraging, you know, because
- 18:36Speaker 1: you know, I mean, look, let's be real, you know
- 18:38Speaker 1: you hear the other stuff. It's so sad man, how
- 18:42Speaker 1: nasty we can be towards one another when we think
- 18:44Speaker 1: something is happened. But it's so refreshing man from this
- 18:49Speaker 1: morning show man to get there. I can't wait to
- 18:52Speaker 1: see what he gonna do next, Steve Harvey. When God
- 18:55Speaker 1: closed one door, he over another. And that's one of
- 18:57Speaker 1: the main things I've learned in my life that when
- 18:59Speaker 1: the door closes, I don't panic. It's not the only door. No,
- 19:04Speaker 1: you walk up the hall, it's mo doors. There's no
- 19:07Speaker 1: one person that has the door, not no person. You
- 19:11Speaker 1: know what, Steve, and what I love too, is that
- 19:15Speaker 1: you do it quietly. No one knows what you're working on,
- 19:18Speaker 1: what you're doing, You don't. Yeah, you don't announce it
- 19:21Speaker 1: until it's done, you know, till all the teaser crossed
- 19:25Speaker 1: and all the eyes are dotted and all that. Then
- 19:27Speaker 1: you know, you share with the world. And that's a
- 19:30Speaker 1: good way to handle it. I sent you then, I
- 19:32Speaker 1: send you this quote. Last week I sent you a
- 19:33Speaker 1: quote about don't it now, don't announce it. Yeah, until
- 19:36Speaker 1: it's done. They'll see. Surely is my spiritual partner. Shirley
- 19:41Speaker 1: sends me every single day. So y'all know this, surely.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I asked her a little over almost two years years. Yeah,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I said, Shirley, I need some help. I'm changing as
- 19:51Speaker 1: a person. Could you send me a scripture every nine
- 19:54Speaker 1: in because I know you? And she said, okay, but
- 19:56Speaker 1: this has been every day, seven days week. Shirley Strawberry
- 20:02Speaker 1: never missus sending me a scripture of some kind, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 1: and listen to me. This is seven days a week.
- 20:10Speaker 1: She does this, and this has been going on for
- 20:12Speaker 1: two years and she just sends them to me. And
- 20:15Speaker 1: then she send me on Monday, August twenty six, she said,
- 20:18Speaker 1: don't announce the move before it's made. They'll see it.
- 20:22Speaker 1: And it wasn't like she texted to me. She found
- 20:25Speaker 1: a plaque somewhere the hardness on it. Yeah, and send
- 20:28Speaker 1: it to me. And she always does. And she didn't.
- 20:30Speaker 1: She didn't even know about this, did not because you
- 20:33Speaker 1: don't say anything. This had nothing to do with this.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Nobody knows. But congratulations, Yeah, my little Kemia not announced. Well,
- 20:49Speaker 1: you beg in a sick category coming up? Tell me
- 20:54Speaker 1: in the building. Would run that break back right after this,
- 20:58Speaker 1: you're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:02Speaker 1: the Hour and entertainment news. Jay Z's Rock Nation and

- 35:53Speaker 1: to all the victims of the hurricane. This is a
- 35:56Speaker 1: trip once again. Hurricane Dorian now a category one eighty

- 36:21Speaker 1: oh Man, And yesterday Dorian slammed Charleston, South Carolina pretty hard.
- 36:27Speaker 1: That's your home state, right Jay, South Carolina. Johnson is
- 36:30Speaker 1: right on the edge, man. And it's just it's easy
- 36:33Speaker 1: to flood out one of them cities. Man, it just floods. Really,
- 36:37Speaker 1: it's tough, man, you know, you you have to you know,
- 36:40Speaker 1: these are acts of nature. You know, it's it's really
- 36:44Speaker 1: no no call on. This's nothing you can do. You know.

- 37:07Speaker 1: they are such good people in the Bahamas. Man. But

- 37:14Speaker 1: who's taking money from relief programs that should be going
- 37:16Speaker 1: to devastated places. And then you know, to build a wall.
- 37:20Speaker 1: It's just like, what are you thinking, dude, really, what
- 37:23Speaker 1: are you thinking? You're taking money to build a wall
- 37:27Speaker 1: and people need help. Puerto Rico needs help, the Bahamas
- 37:31Speaker 1: need helm, Saint Thomas need helm. But you want to
- 37:34Speaker 1: build a wall. It's just crazy. I just want to
- 37:37Speaker 1: build a wall around his ass when we do that.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But people are down there, I mean really in some
- 37:42Speaker 1: serious trouble, and you drawn on them on the board
- 37:45Speaker 1: with a market from Alabama yesterday, wrong information with a
- 37:50Speaker 1: sharp wrong information with r y the storm is going
- 37:58Speaker 1: nowhere near Alabama. He can't say oops, I made a mistake.
- 38:02Speaker 1: He can't say that, or you know, I misspoke, or
- 38:05Speaker 1: I looked at the map wrong or anything. And now
- 38:08Speaker 1: you got people in Alabama boarding up the house. Might
- 38:11Speaker 1: be right. That's the issue right there, Jim. He scared
- 38:16Speaker 1: the people in Alabama, in the state of Alabama quickly.
- 38:20Speaker 1: We do have to send a shout up to a
- 38:22Speaker 1: Florida man who went to Costco. He bought about one
- 38:25Speaker 1: hundred generators and some food. He did that to send
- 38:28Speaker 1: it to the Bahamas. He spent almost fifty thousand dollars
- 38:32Speaker 1: because each generator was four hundred and fifty dollars. The
- 38:35Speaker 1: man wanted to remain anonymous, but he did say, you
- 38:39Speaker 1: just can't sit there. We have to help each other out. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 1: he spent about almost fifty thousand dollars. He said that, Um,
- 38:49Speaker 1: you know, you just can't sit here. You gotta do something.
- 38:52Speaker 1: You gotta help each other out, you know. All right,
- 38:54Speaker 1: if you want to help, go to Steve Harvey FM.
- 38:56Speaker 1: We have a list of organizations that can help our

- 39:01Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna switch gears here. This segment
- 39:05Speaker 1: is called neighbor Wars. A vegan woman sued her neighbors
- 39:08Speaker 1: for barbecuing in their backyard. In their backyard. Okay, thirty
- 39:13Speaker 1: four after, we'll be right back. You're listening to show,
- 39:19Speaker 1: all right, So here we go this woman who's a vegan.
- 39:23Speaker 1: She lives in Australia. Her name is Sylla. She sued
- 39:27Speaker 1: her neighbors because they deliberately fire up their grill and
- 39:31Speaker 1: cook their meat of choice. Okay, it's their grills, their yard,
- 39:36Speaker 1: their meat because she's a vegan. She said the stench
- 39:40Speaker 1: or smell was too unbearable and that she couldn't enjoy
- 39:43Speaker 1: her yard, so she took the issue to court. Yeah
- 39:47Speaker 1: I hear you any Yeah you really can. She took
- 39:52Speaker 1: it to court, but she lost. How about that? Uh
- 39:56Speaker 1: So to get to get back at her, the neighbors
- 39:59Speaker 1: have organized community barbecue that's yours. They're protesting her actions.
- 40:07Speaker 1: They posted it on Facebook and the caption said, helped
- 40:10Speaker 1: Silla still a cardon get some pork on her fork.
- 40:14Speaker 1: All these starting out brills up at about four o'clock. Okay,
- 40:18Speaker 1: everybody holding grill up, real goods. It won't find the
- 40:23Speaker 1: bad boys up. We won't meat nothing but wrong meat
- 40:27Speaker 1: on these grills. Briskets, baby, we want brisket. We want
- 40:31Speaker 1: ham Honks. Whoever volunteered to cook that Australia too straight,
- 40:40Speaker 1: they're gons out man, damns mean they we got room
- 40:46Speaker 1: for any elk on here kangaroo. That's so crazy. The
- 40:58Speaker 1: smell or stinch was so bad, it was so unbearable.
- 41:02Speaker 1: He couldn't enjoy hers. Just my opinion. Ain't no vegans
- 41:05Speaker 1: has been vegans for a long time. These is new
- 41:07Speaker 1: vegans with attitude to me that yeah they knew, they
- 41:12Speaker 1: think they're better because they wasn't on the first vegan
- 41:15Speaker 1: board and nothing when it first started. You wasn't let
- 41:21Speaker 1: the vegans. You still a vegan by the way, Oh well,
- 41:26Speaker 1: you mean like nin I am. But when it comes
- 41:29Speaker 1: to barbecue that but the smell of meat don't offend
- 41:34Speaker 1: me at all. Not a frat man. Every time I
- 41:38Speaker 1: smell meat, I gonna damn this. Now, you know, I'm
- 41:43Speaker 1: not really I'm not doing but I'm doing primarily plant
- 41:47Speaker 1: base right now since I came. Once I got from Africa,
- 41:52Speaker 1: It's only been about four or five days now that
- 41:55Speaker 1: i've been uh well a little bit actually actually about
- 42:02Speaker 1: six days seven days now since we've been back. And
- 42:06Speaker 1: what I've done is my daughter Morgan and her husband
- 42:11Speaker 1: bought me the other day as a gift, one of
- 42:14Speaker 1: those fitbit watches, you know, and yeah, and so I
- 42:20Speaker 1: set up my little account and so I've been tracking everything.
- 42:24Speaker 1: But you know, I'm such a competitor. You know, they
- 42:27Speaker 1: want everybody to get in ten thousand steps a day.
- 42:30Speaker 1: That's that gives you optimum health, right, And so every
- 42:34Speaker 1: day I've been tracking, and so the first day I
- 42:38Speaker 1: didn't do that well, I mean I didn't wear it.
- 42:41Speaker 1: I got like nine thousand. A matter of fact, I
- 42:42Speaker 1: can tell exactly what I got was, I'm tripping. I
- 42:45Speaker 1: think you got it right there. And he text me
- 42:50Speaker 1: what he did yesterday? Steve did so. Tuesday the workout,
- 42:58Speaker 1: I had my thing on. I burned tooth thousand, eight
- 43:01Speaker 1: hundred calories steps nine thousand, eight hundred and forty seven. Uh.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Then Queen stage workout, I did two thousand, two hundred
- 43:13Speaker 1: and twenty three calories and I did ten thousand, four
- 43:18Speaker 1: hundred and ninety steps. Thursday Thursday. Where it's Thursday. Oh
- 43:24Speaker 1: here we go, go back, he'd be wanting to start. Yeah,
- 43:30Speaker 1: excuse me, twelve thousand, four hundred and ninety six steps. Yeah,
- 43:38Speaker 1: I walked five point seven two miles and I burned
- 43:43Speaker 1: three thousand, seven hundred and eighty five calories. Good job.
- 43:47Speaker 1: What you want to say, hater? I wanted to say,
- 43:49Speaker 1: it's amazing that you have a house that big that
- 43:52Speaker 1: you can do ten miles in your own damn house.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I ain't got good you walk ten miles in your
- 43:59Speaker 1: day the house? What are you? The bad boy? You
- 44:04Speaker 1: gotta have a house to do it. You gotta have
- 44:06Speaker 1: a house, all right? All right? Coming up next to
- 44:08Speaker 1: nephew with today's spring phone call. Right after this. You're
- 44:12Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right. Coming
- 44:16Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 44:18Speaker 1: minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today. Subject six
- 44:21Speaker 1: feet tall, a six pack and a six figure income. Yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 1: that is the subject of the strawberry letter. I know
- 44:29Speaker 1: around me about me? Finally, right now, the nephew is
- 44:40Speaker 1: here with today's bring phone call. What you got for us?
- 44:43Speaker 1: And asked if you can't talk straight into barbershop, then
- 44:46Speaker 1: where can you talk straight? This is the bobshop, Baby,
- 44:49Speaker 1: the bobershop. Let's go, kid, Brady. How you doing. Man?
- 44:55Speaker 1: My name, my name is Dennis Man. I got a
- 44:56Speaker 1: hacko from you a couple of weeks ago. Yeah, what's up? Listen? Um,
- 45:01Speaker 1: I wanted to get an appointment with you. Man. Uh
- 45:03Speaker 1: like I said, I was there a couple of weeks ago. Man,

- 45:20Speaker 1: name here? Bro? Dennis Man? Dennis? Okay, Dennis, Why I
- 45:24Speaker 1: can get chance? Dennis? About three o'clock, man, something of
- 45:27Speaker 1: that nature. I mean, you know I'm on the work
- 45:28Speaker 1: of formly you know. Okay, three o'clock you will be there? Yeah, okay, Hey.
- 45:34Speaker 1: I got a little bit of situation though, man, that
- 45:36Speaker 1: happened last time I was there. I kind of wanted
- 45:39Speaker 1: to talk to you about it, man, because it kind
- 45:41Speaker 1: of called me off guard. So I wanted to do
- 45:44Speaker 1: how I let you, man and see if we could
- 45:46Speaker 1: rectify the problem. For I came back up there. What happened?
- 45:49Speaker 1: What somebody disrespect your something? I mean, what else to do? What? What? Um?
- 45:54Speaker 1: It really wasn't something body, man, it was it was
- 45:56Speaker 1: It was it was actually you me whoa? I mean,
- 45:59Speaker 1: what's the his deal? Man? When you was cutting my hair?
- 46:02Speaker 1: When it when it was time to turn the chair,
- 46:06Speaker 1: you didn't turn the chair with with with with with
- 46:09Speaker 1: your hand man. See Brady, man, you you turned the
- 46:12Speaker 1: chair with your with your private part. Oh, come on
- 46:16Speaker 1: safe then it's I mean, Dannis, I'm a professional Man,
- 46:19Speaker 1: I've been doing this fifteen years, bro right, right. I
- 46:21Speaker 1: don't think it's anything deliberate. Man. I think you just
- 46:24Speaker 1: do it unconsciously, man, because you know you be leaning
- 46:27Speaker 1: over on the chair cutting, and I think you don't realize,
- 46:30Speaker 1: you know, you be turning the chair with your private
- 46:33Speaker 1: part instead of doing it with your hand. Man. And see,
- 46:36Speaker 1: my hand got caught out there, and I saw it
- 46:38Speaker 1: out the corner of my eyes. I saw your private
- 46:40Speaker 1: part coming towards my hand. I moved it just in time.
- 46:44Speaker 1: You understand, but not see, Dennis, I'm not understanding something.
- 46:48Speaker 1: But because I don't, I don't. We don't operate like that, mind, yes,
- 46:51Speaker 1: because you know I don't make mistakes like that. But
- 46:54Speaker 1: I mean, you know I don't know you. You're sure
- 46:55Speaker 1: you're talking to the right person, man, Yeah, I mean,
- 46:58Speaker 1: ain't you the third chair on the right when you
- 47:00Speaker 1: walk in the door. Yeah, that's correct. Okay, that what
- 47:03Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Man. And you cut me two weeks ago,
- 47:05Speaker 1: and like I said, I really like my hair cut,
- 47:07Speaker 1: so I want to call back and rectify this problem.
- 47:09Speaker 1: But you know you gotta turn the chair with your
- 47:11Speaker 1: head and not your pride part. If now we're gonna
- 47:14Speaker 1: have a problem. Okay, Bro, Now I feel it, and
- 47:17Speaker 1: I understand you your complaint and everything. I mean, I'm

- 47:50Speaker 1: And I'm not I'm not feeling that jump up having
- 47:52Speaker 1: a problem because you know, you don't really know me
- 47:55Speaker 1: like that. Bro, you know what I mean. I'm trying
- 47:56Speaker 1: to be a professional here and and solve your little
- 47:59Speaker 1: issues that you got your understanding, But I was jumping
- 48:02Speaker 1: up and stuff you're talking about doing. I don't look,
- 48:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to come in and get a nice hair
- 48:07Speaker 1: cut and walk out with a nice hair cut. What
- 48:10Speaker 1: I don't want to do. It's come down, Neil, you're

- 48:40Speaker 1: out fitting like a man, and not walk out feeling violated. Man,
- 48:44Speaker 1: because you didn't turn the chair with your private part
- 48:47Speaker 1: all up against my head, in my elbow and stuff. Man,
- 48:50Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Bro. You know I'm trying
- 48:55Speaker 1: to talk to you. But now you don't run me wrong.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I ain't punk flying here, and you understanding, ain't no

- 50:37Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Man say, oh man, say
- 50:53Speaker 1: bro my bad man. You hey, hey, I got one
- 51:01Speaker 1: more thing to ask you, man, what is what is
- 51:04Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 51:07Speaker 1: the lagger Man Barbershop? Anybody want to go? I think
- 51:19Speaker 1: we should still go to the bobshop just for the
- 51:21Speaker 1: conversation that's in the babershop. They got the best conversations
- 51:25Speaker 1: in the bhop. Oh man, everything going on in the barbshop.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But you know there a lot of people go to
- 51:30Speaker 1: the barbershop. Don't even get a headcut. They just sit
- 51:32Speaker 1: in there. Let's stay spot. But Tomy, you still get
- 51:37Speaker 1: your go go t trimmed up, shaped up right and
- 51:41Speaker 1: died and stuff. Oh yeah, same thing. His mama does,
- 51:45Speaker 1: the same thing. She gets and her mutton shops. What
- 51:50Speaker 1: you just say, mutton shops, Mutton shops. Man. Wow, the
- 51:56Speaker 1: first time you was in church and saw a lady,
- 51:57Speaker 1: I saw one of the sisters with hell that she
- 51:59Speaker 1: ended that missing up. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. They want
- 52:05Speaker 1: they want to kiss you, he said. They want to kids.

- 53:45Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 53:47Speaker 1: is thank you nephew. Subject six feet tall, a six
- 53:52Speaker 1: pack and a six figure income. Okay, we'll see now
- 53:57Speaker 1: as we get into the letter if this is actually
- 53:59Speaker 1: at J Anthony Brown. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a forty
- 54:06Speaker 1: year old man and my wife and I have a
- 54:08Speaker 1: strong marriage and a great life together. We just have
- 54:13Speaker 1: one little problem in our home. It's my wife's sister.
- 54:17Speaker 1: My wife's sister has been living with us for the
- 54:19Speaker 1: past seven years since she got a very nasty divorce.
- 54:24Speaker 1: She said it would be temporary until she got on
- 54:26Speaker 1: her feet, but she's still here. I do love my
- 54:29Speaker 1: sister in law, and she contributes to the household as
- 54:32Speaker 1: much as possible, but she should have moved out years ago.
- 54:37Speaker 1: My wife and I have one child that's in college
- 54:39Speaker 1: and the other child is graduating this year, so we're
- 54:42Speaker 1: close to being empty nesters. My wife has told her
- 54:46Speaker 1: sister that she can't stay with us. Forever, and every
- 54:48Speaker 1: time she has a talk with her, my sister in
- 54:51Speaker 1: law says she's waiting for mister Wright and he must
- 54:53Speaker 1: be at least six feet tall with a six pack
- 54:56Speaker 1: abs and a six figure income. Now the problem is,
- 55:00Speaker 1: my sister in law is five feet one, two hundred
- 55:05Speaker 1: and fifty pounds, all right, and she isn't able to
- 55:12Speaker 1: support herself. My wife has introduced her to some of
- 55:15Speaker 1: the guys that she works with, but her sister says
- 55:18Speaker 1: they're not handsome enough for her, they don't make enough money,
- 55:22Speaker 1: or they are too short for her. My sister in
- 55:26Speaker 1: law has told everyone about her stupid requirements and now
- 55:29Speaker 1: it's a joke behind her back because she believes that
- 55:32Speaker 1: she is as fine as Beyonce. That and she has
- 55:36Speaker 1: told us on many occasions that if the man isn't
- 55:38Speaker 1: equivalent to Idris Elba or Brad Pitt, then she's not interested.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I don't want to be mean, but she's not going
- 55:48Speaker 1: to ever pull that type of man. And she can't
- 55:51Speaker 1: stay in our house forever with her crazy fantasies. How
- 55:55Speaker 1: can we nicely explain to her that her expectations are
- 55:58Speaker 1: not realistic. We want her to move out, but we
- 56:02Speaker 1: want to We don't want to be mean. What should
- 56:04Speaker 1: we do? Please help? Seven years is way way too long, okay,
- 56:11Speaker 1: And I'm very surprised you guys have allowed her to
- 56:13Speaker 1: stay all these years. I really am. What about your privacy?
- 56:17Speaker 1: You know, what about your marriage? You just want some
- 56:20Speaker 1: alone time, you know, to be together as husband and wife,
- 56:23Speaker 1: for date nights, for intimacy, for everything. You want your
- 56:27Speaker 1: own house, want to walk around naked, whatever you do
- 56:30Speaker 1: at your own life, that's what you want to do,
- 56:32Speaker 1: and you can't do that with your sister in law
- 56:34Speaker 1: in the house. I think your sister in law is
- 56:36Speaker 1: taking advantage of you, your wife, your hospitality, your patients,
- 56:40Speaker 1: and definitely your kindness. It's not like your wife hasn't
- 56:45Speaker 1: talked to her sister. I mean she talked to her.
- 56:47Speaker 1: But my problem with that is is that your wife
- 56:49Speaker 1: didn't give her any specifics. You know, she just said, girl,
- 56:53Speaker 1: you can't stay here forever. But you gotta give her
- 56:56Speaker 1: a date. You gotta help her start packing. She needs
- 56:59Speaker 1: a clear message that her time at your house is
- 57:02Speaker 1: over now. As far as her wanting six feet tall,
- 57:06Speaker 1: six pack and six figure income, and I mean you
- 57:13Speaker 1: can want that, you can definitely want that. We all
- 57:15Speaker 1: have a right to want whatever it is we want,
- 57:18Speaker 1: but don't use that as an excuse to stay in
- 57:21Speaker 1: your sister's house because so called mister Wright hasn't come along. Okay,
- 57:25Speaker 1: I know you want that, Steve. She's five one, she's
- 57:28Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty. She can't support herself, but she
- 57:31Speaker 1: does need to get out, get her own apartment and
- 57:34Speaker 1: move on. Maybe mister Wright will come then when she's
- 57:36Speaker 1: on her own. Steve Harvey, take it away, sir. Well,
- 57:40Speaker 1: you know appreciate you, Shirley. Y'all love the attitude and
- 57:44Speaker 1: approach you always try to find a Christian way to
- 57:48Speaker 1: do this hill. But let me just start down at
- 57:52Speaker 1: the bottom of this letter. How can we nicely explain
- 57:57Speaker 1: to her that her expectations are not realistic. We won't
- 58:02Speaker 1: her to move out, but we don't want to be mean.
- 58:07Speaker 1: What should we do? You can't be nice, No, damn mode,
- 58:13Speaker 1: You got to be mean from here on out because
- 58:17Speaker 1: she's not leaving. This woman right here, six feet tall
- 58:23Speaker 1: and six pack and a six figure income. Now hear you?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Hear you and your wife put y'all's life together. You
- 58:29Speaker 1: got a great marriage, you say you got kid in
- 58:32Speaker 1: college and one about to graduate. You almost got anybody
- 58:35Speaker 1: at the house, but your wife's sister been living with
- 58:38Speaker 1: y'all for the past seven years after a very nasty divorce. Nah,
- 58:47Speaker 1: this nasty divorce has led to a complication. What do
- 58:53Speaker 1: people do sometimes when they get divorced to kind of
- 58:56Speaker 1: fight through the anguish of a nasty divorce? They what eat?
- 59:02Speaker 1: Said again? They eat well? This divorced and pushed five
- 59:11Speaker 1: foot one ass up to two fifty. Who she's still
- 59:22Speaker 1: living in her head at the pre divorce weight. This
- 59:31Speaker 1: is in this damn letter of Sharley. She is living
- 59:35Speaker 1: in the pre divorced weight in her head, which I
- 59:40Speaker 1: bet you wasn't five foot one, two fifty. That's in
- 59:43Speaker 1: the letter, isn't it, Shirley. No, it's it isn't Shirley.
- 59:47Speaker 1: It's in the letter. The problem is my sister in
- 59:49Speaker 1: laws five foot one, two fifty and she isn't able
- 59:53Speaker 1: to support herself. But you don't know how. You don't
- 59:56Speaker 1: know if she wasn't that while she was married. You
- 59:58Speaker 1: don't know that. You are on the bed, you don't know.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: There's no way to prove it. I'm just sending the
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: letter I'm gonna prove it when I come back. All right,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: we'll let Burt two of Steve's response coming up in
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour subject six feet tall, six
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: pack and a six figure income. We'll get back into
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters. Yeah, well yeah, six yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I need all this time because I have to prove
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: something to share. Okay, Come on for the old man.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: His wife, they had strong marriage, life together, got a
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: couple of kids, one in college, were about to move out,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: about to be empty. Nesta's only problem is his wife's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: sisters been lived with him for the past seven years
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: because she got a nasty divorce. She said it would
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: be temporaryuntil she got on her feet or seven years later.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: She's still there. She would have moved out years ago.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: But my wife and anyway and whole like, she's still
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: here now. She not leaving until she fine someone that's
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: six feet tall, we're a six pack and a six
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: figure income. That's who she's waiting on. Mister Wright, he
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: got to be at least six feet tall, six packs
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: and six figures. Here's the problem, he says, in his letter,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: the sister in law is five foot one, two hundred
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and fifty pounds and isn't able to support herself. Now,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I said, the reason she's stuck in this house is
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: because she's operating in her mind wanting this six foot
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: tall man with the six pack apps and six figure income.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Because in her mind she's talking in pre divorce weight
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: what she weighed before the divorce. Because I asked the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: question before we went on break and Tommy and Jay
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: answered it. I said, what happened when people go through
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a nasty divorce? How did they get through it? And
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: they said eat. Now she that ain't a asked to
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: five foot one fifty, But in her mind she's still
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: the fine chick that was mad before. She was still
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: on six feet six abs, six figure in car. Now,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: how do I know? Shirley said, that's not in the
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: letter that it was it is, Shirley, you didn't read it.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: She said, My sisters has been living with us for
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: seven years since she got a very nasty divorce. Listened
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to this line. She said it would be temporary until
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: she got on her feet right, but she's still here.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: That's the line it was gonna be temporary until she
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: got on her feet because she knew then. Back then
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: she had a chance of getting up on her feet
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: because she was light. She can't get up on her
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: feet now because her big ass is two fifty bass.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: What this letter is about not? Here's the other thing.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: She believes on many occasions that the demand isn't equivalent
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: to indurss Elbow or Brad Pitt. She's not interested. Here's
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: what y'all need to do. Let's stop all this being nice.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: We got to get ugly right now. Show her a
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: picture or who Brad Pitt and indurss Elbows is dating
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and who they married. Show this picture because this is
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: who they date, This is who they married, This is
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: what they look like. It's interested birthday too. Your ass
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: ain't getting indress or no damn body else. Let me
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: explain something to show a picture? Who Eddie Murphy guy?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: That ain't you? Show a picture? Who Chris Rock guy?
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: That ain't you? Who Will Smith got that? Ain't you?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: You need a wake up call, get some pictures talking
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: about you on some damn six foot tall no abbs.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: How about this? You need somebody five five two hundred
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: pounds and a truck that a movie. Your ass out
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: that house. That's what you need. Now. His numbers is
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: six feet tall, six pack, and a six figure income.
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: Your numbers five one two fifty no income. Your numbers
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: don't add up to his numbers? Now what you're not
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: gonna do with me? On this letter? Right here? It's
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: started telling me that I'm fat shaming. It's in the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: letter five one two fifty's unrealistic of hunt to wont
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Brad Pitt do? Brad Pitt won't. Huh, We're just gonna
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: We're just look at numbers. Do you want somebody with
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: seventy more pounds than you and nine inch your show? No,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I've big girl. Now listen to me. I'm six two,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I'm six two, about two thirty eight. She heavier than me?
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: How could you chill? She's fifteen and just shout him?
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: And she heavier than me? How can you don't ask Jay?
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: Because you know Jay probably down, Jay damn me and
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Smalian way all right, Jay down some low right now?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'm scared he might say, Jay, damn Jimmy, do it
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: right now? Jay's way. I can't that weight, There's no
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: way I can. And Jay's wait right now, he could

- 1:14:41Speaker 1: That's that's major, right, serious? Yeah? Uh. The San Francisco
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Board of Supervisors passed a resolution. The resolution urges the
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: city to distance himself from the NRA and avoid doing
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: business with organizations that have ties to the NRA because
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: it says that it is linked to the epidemic of
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: gun violence in the US. The resolution reads, the National
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Rifle Association spreads propaganda that misinforms and aims to deceive
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: the public about the dangers of gun violence. There you go,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: they're dead on Yeah. Wow, Yeah, that's that's some major. Yeah. Wow,

- 1:15:27Speaker 1: That's gonna be some huge pushback from that. Yeah, from
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: a lot of people too, from a lot of politicians.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: They're gonna have to because what you know, when Trump
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: just a week or so ago, a couple of weeks back,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: made a statement about the gun laws and changing them,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: he got that phone call and he didn't backed up.

- 1:16:42Speaker 1: so exciting. Steve Harvey is on the board of directors
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: and has entered into a strategic agreement for content development
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: and promotion of Anthem Sports and Entertainment. So you're saying
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: to yourself, what is Anthem Sports and Entertainment? Let me
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: see it. What's Anthem Sports and Entertainment? I said it. Well, Jay,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Anthem is a global I said global. There's that word again,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: global media company, which has a portfolio of channels that
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: includes get this, fighting and wrestling entertainment, what TV game shows,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: what outdoor hunting and fishing shows, and more? Oh my god,

- 1:17:38Speaker 1: Right somewhere, Tommy, you'll be fishing. This is amazing. Wait
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: a minute, said your career was over though it's supposed
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: to be through. Yeah, what do you do? Yeah? They do?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Is nay? You're talking about the haters? Yeah you know
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: they are. Yeah, ain't acting like your answers. But Steve,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I appreciate your humility, I really do. But this this
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: is major. I mean, tell us about this global partnership
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: with Anthem Sports and Entertainment. I'm Assill's actually, um, it's
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: a big deal. And Mark Cuban, the game show owner
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: of the Dallas Maverick, was a huge part of the
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: anthem peace and so uh, some people bought it to me.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: BC Partners bought a deal to me. This has been
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: going on for about almost two years. Wow, it took
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: two years to negotiate all the terms and everything. They're
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: bringing me on as a content provider, amongst other things

- 1:19:17Speaker 1: you know, and I appreciate y'all. Appreciate y'all support, encouragement.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I try to do the same for you all. You know,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: we've got a really good radio family here, man, and
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: that we are we you know, we stay with each other.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: You know, everybody's pulling for Jay with everything he's going through.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: We got a lot of fans out there that's pulling
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: for Jay for what he's going through. It's a lot
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: of love out there, man, It's a lot of people.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: It's a lot of people pulling for Junior. You know,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: he suffers with sick of sale he had. You know,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: whenever he goes to a crisis, he gets a lot
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: of support. And while he's out there doing the work,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: you know, calling Shirley with their foundation work, you know,
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: call out there with the breast cancer and everything because
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: of a mom. You know, Shirley does all this work
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: in the community, goes out there speaking engagements, involvement, things
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: like that. You know, Tommy got miles of miles of
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: giving his foundation what they do work, you know. And
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: we we have a great radio family here man. How
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: we just stick together. And I've always appreciated the support.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: You know. I want to share something with you all.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: People have written me off on so many occasions, not
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: just haters. Now, some of them his family, some of
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: them his friends, and some of y'all listening out there
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: can relate to what I'm about to share with you,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: because some of you have been written off, some of
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you have been doubted, many of you have been ridicuted
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: for decisions you make. Some of you have walked in
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: houses and rooms and shared your visions and dreams with
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: what you call what you thought was loved ones and friends,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: and they shot it down. And you can't do that,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: And who you think you are? How to ass gonna work?
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: And see I told you and look at you now.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I think everybody's had a portion of that, especially listen
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: to the show, because if you've lived any life, you've
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: heard these words before. You know you'd have been more
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: if you hadn't have done this. And they just keep
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: on bringing up things that happened to you to help
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: or justify the things that they want to say to you.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: There's so many people around us that won't let us
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: move past our past, who keep bringing up our past
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: to remind us who we were, not realizing that we're new,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: not realizing that we've changed, not wanting to accept the
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: new you that you've become or the person you've grown into.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: There's a constant reminder of who you were. Well, let
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: me tell you the solution to that. The solution to that, y'all,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: is maintained your faith. Don't ever lose faith, don't ever
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: give up. I don't care what your current circumstance looks
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: like I don't care what your current situation is drawing
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: the attention of others. I don't care how they're talking
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: about you. I don't care what they're saying in the
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: cubicles about you on your job. I don't care what
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: they're saying about you on social media, your blogs, or
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: what your circumstances are today. Do not get caught up
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: in the moment. Do not let your circumstances shake your faith.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Maintain your faith through adversity, in the good moments, in
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: the moments where everything is beaming and bright, and when
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: he get dark and cloudy and he get real stormy
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: in your life. Maintain your faith because God's way of
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: doing things, God's way of doing things. No man has
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: any idea how he does what he does or why
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: he does it the way he does it. There is
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: not a single living soul that can take credit for that.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: God's ways are so high above those on this earth.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: God is good man, and God is good to those
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: who love him. God is good to those who don't
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: even talk to him. God is good to people that
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: don't even pray. God is good to people who have
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: turned and walked away from him. God is merciful man.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: All of us have been a benefactor of his favor.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: God is good man. But if you love God and
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you honor him, there's a special blessing in line for you.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: He will take care of you no matter what the
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: circumstances are. It doesn't matter what the outlook looks like.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Because Kate no outlook. Outlook God know that for a fact.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Maintain your faith through your moments of adversity because God
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: will deliver, because that's a promise of his. God promises
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: to never leave your side. If you're a child of God,
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: that's a promise he made to you. If you're not
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: a real person of faith, to what I'm saying to
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: you right now, it means nothing. I can already hear
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: people in the background going, well, he didn't walk away
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: from me. That's easy for you to say, Well, how
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: come this happening? How come that happened? Well, how come
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: this happening? How come that happen? Because it's called life?
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Because life happens to all of us. Every last one
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: of us suffers through some type of trial, crises, conflict, problem, detramits.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Everybody goes through something. It's called life. But I'm I'm
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: so glad that God has taught me how to maintain
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: my faith. And I invite all of you to do
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: the same thing. When he looked dark, hang on when
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: they look gloomy, hang on when they write you off,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: hang on. Keep praying, never cease from praying. Keep talking
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: to God. God hears your prayer. Now. He may not
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: come when you want him to. Hear old people saying that,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: but he's always on time. I'm a living witness that
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: He just keeps coming to get me over and over
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and over. Maintain your faith through it all, God will
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: deliver on his promises. Those are my closing remarks today. Hey, y'all, listen,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: don't forget talk to God. He'd love to hear from me.
