- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your tha
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh I shore will good morning everybody. You are
- 2:06Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:09Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man o
- 2:13Speaker 1: man o, man Hey, you know to date, I just
- 2:20Speaker 1: want to say something um um that I don't think
- 2:25Speaker 1: I've ever shared this way before. The title is very simple,
- 2:35Speaker 1: and that is it's been worth it to me, you know.
- 2:42Speaker 1: I just I just kept thinking that this morning, that
- 2:47Speaker 1: it's all been worth it to me. And what I
- 2:51Speaker 1: mean by that is this relationship that I have with
- 2:55Speaker 1: my heavenly father, it's been worth it to me. I
- 3:02Speaker 1: can't even tell you the value that it has had
- 3:07Speaker 1: in my life. I can't tell you how it's helped
- 3:14Speaker 1: me to understand not only my purpose, but to better
- 3:20Speaker 1: understand my past. That's that's that's critical, man, because I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: grateful for that, because so many people can't get beyond
- 3:33Speaker 1: their past and event a set of circumstances, some calamity
- 3:38Speaker 1: that besets them. Maybe it's been grief something, but it
- 3:42Speaker 1: ties so many people up. It's been so worth it
- 3:47Speaker 1: to me it, man, it's it's been worth having someone
- 3:56Speaker 1: to go to when no one else was there. Do
- 4:01Speaker 1: you do you understand what I'm saying. It has It
- 4:05Speaker 1: has given me a place to go when no one
- 4:10Speaker 1: else has been there. Oh, hey man, we're pulling for you.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Hey man, hanging there, Hey man, keep your head up,
- 4:19Speaker 1: all of that. But I gotta tell you, man, you
- 4:24Speaker 1: get yourself in some circumstances and situations in this thing
- 4:27Speaker 1: called life when no one can help you but God,
- 4:31Speaker 1: When the only person that could possibly understand or know
- 4:35Speaker 1: what you're feeling is God. The only person that I'll
- 4:39Speaker 1: sit there with you through it all and understand everything
- 4:43Speaker 1: about it has been God. It's been worth it to me, man,
- 4:49Speaker 1: It's it's been worth it to me. It's been the
- 4:55Speaker 1: biggest improvement in my life. I mean, man, as I
- 4:59Speaker 1: look back over my life and forming a strong bond
- 5:04Speaker 1: with God has been the most beneficial thing to me.
- 5:10Speaker 1: You know these things you read in your in your
- 5:13Speaker 1: in your in writings in the Bible or or whatever
- 5:17Speaker 1: you're reading. You know, when you when you read scriptures
- 5:19Speaker 1: and things of that nature. It it's it's been around
- 5:24Speaker 1: a long time. It holds so much truth to it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I mean, man, it's like, how could this have been
- 5:33Speaker 1: written so long ago and still pertain directly to today?
- 5:41Speaker 1: I mean that that's amazing. That is amazing to me that.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I mean, that has to be God at work to
- 5:49Speaker 1: have written something so complete, so dead on point that
- 5:57Speaker 1: if you read it today it means exactly what pertains
- 6:04Speaker 1: to today. That's amazing, man. That's why my my my
- 6:11Speaker 1: spiritual walker. It's just worth it to me. And I
- 6:14Speaker 1: keep saying it's worth it, because if you're sitting out
- 6:17Speaker 1: there and you're tripping like I was tripping, deciding NA,
- 6:21Speaker 1: let me do. I got a few more things I
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to do, a couple more girls I want to
- 6:25Speaker 1: haul at cup, more things I want to get into.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I got a couple more deals I want to do.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I got a little bit more dirt. I want to
- 6:31Speaker 1: roll up on me a little bit. First for while, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I wish I had known. I really wish I had
- 6:37Speaker 1: understood exactly what forming a relationship with God would do
- 6:42Speaker 1: for me. It's been worth every person who out there
- 6:47Speaker 1: who hate on me, that don't even know me, it's
- 6:51Speaker 1: because I have a relationship with Him that I'm fine
- 6:55Speaker 1: with that, or I don't care for it. But it
- 6:58Speaker 1: ain't gonna stop me though. See, because I know for
- 7:02Speaker 1: a fact that haters make you greater. I know for
- 7:06Speaker 1: a fact that haters validate your mere existence. I know
- 7:12Speaker 1: for a fact that half of them is out of
- 7:16Speaker 1: envy and jealousy because of something you're doing that they
- 7:20Speaker 1: wish they could do or they won't credit for, so
- 7:24Speaker 1: they just now anything all that bam and now you
- 7:27Speaker 1: just all over the place with people. Man, I'm so
- 7:31Speaker 1: grateful for this relationship that it has not allowed outside
- 7:36Speaker 1: influences that do not have my best interests at hard
- 7:40Speaker 1: to throw me off. Course. It has just been worth it.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And if you're sitting out there and you're wondering about
- 7:48Speaker 1: the benefits of it, I can't even tell you what
- 7:53Speaker 1: it's like to know that when bad things are happening
- 7:57Speaker 1: to me, the calming piece that I feel that I
- 8:00Speaker 1: know that that's gonna be all right too, that I
- 8:04Speaker 1: know that this tool shall pass. That I know in
- 8:08Speaker 1: my heart of hearts, man, that there's got to be
- 8:11Speaker 1: a reason for this. And if I can just hang
- 8:13Speaker 1: on in there, he gonna unfold that from me and
- 8:16Speaker 1: he gonna let me see it. But the number one
- 8:18Speaker 1: thing I always know is I'm gonna survive this one too,
- 8:22Speaker 1: that this tool shall pass. It has been worth it
- 8:25Speaker 1: to me, man, to have this thing called faith, which
- 8:30Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see, and
- 8:33Speaker 1: to know man along the way that, oh my goodness, man,
- 8:37Speaker 1: even though I don't know who's next, or even I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: not really sure about the next step, I do know
- 8:44Speaker 1: for a fact that some mooe is coming. I do
- 8:47Speaker 1: know for a fact. It is a fact that God
- 8:51Speaker 1: will take care of me. It is a fact that
- 8:55Speaker 1: he will never ever leave me or desert me. If
- 8:58Speaker 1: I just stay here. Why I'm supposed to be, He's coming.
- 9:03Speaker 1: The Calvary's coming over the hill. He coming over the hill,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and when he come over that hill, he gonna wipe
- 9:08Speaker 1: out all this mess down here. That's that's trying to
- 9:11Speaker 1: hurt me, that that I don't have to worry about
- 9:13Speaker 1: my enemies anymore that my enemies that are all around
- 9:17Speaker 1: you can surround me. You can shoot all the arrows
- 9:22Speaker 1: you want. That's not to say that none of them
- 9:25Speaker 1: ain't gonna come close. And I ain't gonna say that,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you know, I ain't gonna be a little under some pressure,
- 9:31Speaker 1: a little nervous about being shot at so hard. But
- 9:34Speaker 1: at the end of the day, I know this for show.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Ain't none of them gonna stick in me. You could
- 9:39Speaker 1: shoot them, but ain't none of them gonna stick in me.
- 9:42Speaker 1: No matter what you do, no weapon formed against me.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Nothing you can't. You can't do nothing with me. Man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: I'm so cool. It's been worth it for me. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening. Ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us. It
- 10:05Speaker 1: is the morning hour. It is a moment that we've
- 10:10Speaker 1: been waiting for all night. To be honest with you,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I was hoping I would be here when it arrived.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I am here, grateful, motivated, favorite, and relentless in my
- 10:30Speaker 1: pursuit of happiness. Even though the Constitution is not talking
- 10:35Speaker 1: to us. I am in pursuit of my inamiable right
- 10:43Speaker 1: to that pursuit of happiness. Damn it. Here I am,
- 10:48Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, Shirley's strong. I like it, Steve, good morning,
- 10:52Speaker 1: good morning, and calif real good morning. Happy Friday. Never
- 10:56Speaker 1: man legend that is Julia whatever up? Everybody morning, the
- 11:02Speaker 1: old and nearly defeated and very bitter about it, but
- 11:09Speaker 1: a survival j Anthony Bryant, whatever up, mister hardad ignorant
- 11:17Speaker 1: at a whole another level, PhD in it mph your side,
- 11:25Speaker 1: your side, it's Fried? Whoa, it's happening by f R
- 11:33Speaker 1: I t y it's fried. Yeah, yeah, it's great. And
- 11:40Speaker 1: you don't like Friday's y, nephew because it's too close
- 11:44Speaker 1: to my tea. That makes a lot of sense. But
- 11:48Speaker 1: if you sounded excited about I get excited until Sad
- 11:53Speaker 1: to come call you know what? It's logic, right yeah, man,
- 11:57Speaker 1: right up on Monday. God. So let me ask your
- 12:01Speaker 1: question to me. Are you happy with what day? Am
- 12:09Speaker 1: I happy with? What's your favorite? Days? Too close? Thursty?
- 12:15Speaker 1: I like thirst why thirsty? Because we almost like the
- 12:19Speaker 1: weekend starts for me actually on Thursday, but you're in sad.
- 12:25Speaker 1: But who But if you don't like the next day
- 12:29Speaker 1: with your Friday because it's too close to Monday, And
- 12:32Speaker 1: that's what I'm trying to piece this together, half struggling
- 12:36Speaker 1: over here, headache. This is your nephew. We got to
- 12:44Speaker 1: worry about this to say. Then you got to think
- 12:45Speaker 1: about you know what, Thursday is bold days. Thursday's fold
- 12:53Speaker 1: days away from Monday. Either either way you go towards it,
- 12:56Speaker 1: think about it. Monday is just bad. So Thursday's four
- 13:02Speaker 1: ways away either way. You look at it well and
- 13:07Speaker 1: see what you don't Why you saying Thursday and Friday
- 13:12Speaker 1: using Monday because you can't say winnsday. I say, Quinny,
- 13:24Speaker 1: what i'd say, Quinn quinsy? In time, I want to
- 13:27Speaker 1: say Quinn. That's not it? All right, listen, coming up
- 13:32Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll do a
- 13:35Speaker 1: version of Ask the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey
- 13:38Speaker 1: in the building right after this you're listening to show.
- 13:44Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Time now for Ask the CLO. We
- 13:47Speaker 1: have some good questions from Steve Harvey FM dot com.
- 13:50Speaker 1: If you have some questions for the CLO, please please
- 13:54Speaker 1: please feel free to write us. This one is from
- 13:57Speaker 1: Jess in Hollywood, Florida. Steve says, my boyfriend and I
- 14:02Speaker 1: are in our mid twenties and sometimes he is not
- 14:05Speaker 1: able to perform unless he watches poor and first last
- 14:09Speaker 1: night we were being intimate and he was really into it.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Then he called me his ex girlfriend's name. I didn't
- 14:16Speaker 1: say anything because I didn't want him to stop. It
- 14:19Speaker 1: was his best performance so far. Apparently thinking about his
- 14:23Speaker 1: ex girlfriend kept him in the mood. Do you think
- 14:26Speaker 1: he secretly still wants his ex or is this just
- 14:29Speaker 1: something that happens from time to time. Well, I got
- 14:33Speaker 1: a couple of ideas here from you said that he
- 14:36Speaker 1: only gets excited unless he's watching pown in your twenties.
- 14:41Speaker 1: That's dangerous. That's dangerous because I don't even I very
- 14:46Speaker 1: rarely hear that from a guy that young. Very rarely
- 14:50Speaker 1: do I hear that. So that's kind of that's kind
- 14:52Speaker 1: of odd right there, him calling and he only gets excited. Now,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you having your best performance and all of a sudden
- 15:00Speaker 1: he calls his ex girlfriend his name. Now the question
- 15:05Speaker 1: you need to find out is his ex girlfriend a
- 15:08Speaker 1: porn star has possibility written all over it? Maybe she
- 15:21Speaker 1: an't one of them movies that getting real excited. Other
- 15:26Speaker 1: than that, I don't know how long you all have
- 15:29Speaker 1: been dating, And I don't know how long you can
- 15:31Speaker 1: continue to accept being called the other girl's name that ain't.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I don't know how long that's allowable, but I think
- 15:41Speaker 1: you should have bought it to his attention so that
- 15:44Speaker 1: he is aware of it and he can start working
- 15:47Speaker 1: on it if it's serious. But I don't think y'all's
- 15:49Speaker 1: relationship is gonna go nowhere, because if you got to
- 15:53Speaker 1: have porno to turn you on at in your twenties,
- 15:57Speaker 1: your rest of your sex years is shock man, damn dog.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Because in my twenties I needed nothing. I just not
- 16:06Speaker 1: a cool as if if just ready just walking around,
- 16:12Speaker 1: ready the wind blow that right there, hot, just right here, hot,
- 16:20Speaker 1: don't matter, I could Okay, okay, this is from its
- 16:32Speaker 1: from Tony in New Jersey. I have a problem with
- 16:34Speaker 1: my lady friend. I'm a bodybuilder, and I get a
- 16:37Speaker 1: lot of women trying to holler at me at my
- 16:40Speaker 1: d in my DMS, and they send lots of nude pictures.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I'll show my lady the pigs and we laugh at
- 16:46Speaker 1: them together. I found out the other day that my
- 16:49Speaker 1: lady also gets nude pictures of men and her DMS.
- 16:53Speaker 1: She clicked on a message by mistake, and I saw
- 16:56Speaker 1: the picture of a naked man. She has never mentioned
- 16:59Speaker 1: this to me, She said she hates the pics and
- 17:02Speaker 1: she immediately deletes them. But why does she keep it
- 17:04Speaker 1: from me? Should I be concerned? Well? You know what, dog?
- 17:08Speaker 1: See hold up now, when you showing neked pictures y'all laughing?
- 17:13Speaker 1: You know, so now all of a sudden, this ain't
- 17:16Speaker 1: funny to you no more. See, dog, you got to
- 17:19Speaker 1: be careful what you introduce. I don't know what your
- 17:22Speaker 1: ass is showing your girl naked pictures of other women fault.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I really don't know, man, I'm confused about that. Normally
- 17:31Speaker 1: that you're you're inviting a hail storm into your house
- 17:35Speaker 1: when you do that. So I don't know what that was.
- 17:37Speaker 1: But then she gets me and sending her naked pictures too.
- 17:41Speaker 1: But she ain't mentioned it to you because guess why,
- 17:45Speaker 1: because she knows. Look at you didn't wrote a letter.
- 17:49Speaker 1: See you see a picture your ass and wrote a letter.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Y'all watching together? You just keep kid, Yeah, see problemer,
- 17:55Speaker 1: So she already know it's a problem and the bodybuild
- 18:00Speaker 1: Come on, man, come on all right, see yeah, it's
- 18:05Speaker 1: it's it's it's it's not a problem that she might
- 18:07Speaker 1: be messing around. But maybe she just didn't feel like
- 18:10Speaker 1: dealing with this because you don't wrote a letter into
- 18:12Speaker 1: a national radio show. You show her pictures, y'all just laugh.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Anonymous in Tennessee writes, I've been married for five years
- 18:21Speaker 1: and my mother lives with us. I'm a diabetic and
- 18:24Speaker 1: I've been sick a lot lately, so my mother has
- 18:27Speaker 1: assumed the role as my full time nurse and caregiver.
- 18:31Speaker 1: This drives my wife crazy. My mother told my wife
- 18:34Speaker 1: that she's been taking care of me all my life
- 18:37Speaker 1: and it's not up for debate. My wife isn't having it,
- 18:40Speaker 1: and their constant arguing stresses me out. My wife works
- 18:44Speaker 1: long hours, and my mom is here when my wife
- 18:47Speaker 1: can't be. So in a way, my mom is right.
- 18:50Speaker 1: I'm stuck in the middle. Please help, No, no, come no, no,
- 18:54Speaker 1: your mom isn't right. No, she's not right, all right.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Your wife is the queen of the castle that can
- 19:00Speaker 1: There's only one queen in the castle. It might be
- 19:04Speaker 1: some damsels, it might be some some some other people
- 19:07Speaker 1: at work, but it's one queen, and your wife is
- 19:11Speaker 1: being rooted out by your mother, who's obviously taking some
- 19:16Speaker 1: liberties with you. That your wife would like to be
- 19:20Speaker 1: able to do. Now the fact that you're sick, Brod
- 19:22Speaker 1: can't do nothing about that. Feel for you? Uh, you know,
- 19:26Speaker 1: I don't know what you supposed to say to somebody
- 19:28Speaker 1: with diabetes. I don't know. You don't seeing condoles? Okay,
- 19:35Speaker 1: well you know, I don't know what you say to
- 19:37Speaker 1: people got diabetes. I don't know what to say, nothing
- 19:39Speaker 1: condolences or I don't know. I don't know what to
- 19:45Speaker 1: say to him about the sickness. But your mother is not.
- 19:51Speaker 1: She may have been taken care of you your whole life,
- 19:53Speaker 1: but this your wife. Dog, See you said viles to
- 19:56Speaker 1: your wife. Now, if your mother's there because you you
- 20:00Speaker 1: can't provide for yourself, I don't I don't know what
- 20:04Speaker 1: it is, but she lives with y'all, and it's creating
- 20:07Speaker 1: a problem. She didn't marry you to live with your mama. Now.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't know how sick you are, dog, but if
- 20:15Speaker 1: your mother just over there because she won't just keep
- 20:17Speaker 1: eye on you and check on you, then you got
- 20:18Speaker 1: to change your living arrangements. Now, if you incapacitated in
- 20:22Speaker 1: some way, then your wife gonna had to work with
- 20:25Speaker 1: your mama a little bit better. But your mamma gonna
- 20:27Speaker 1: had to back up and let your wife be the
- 20:29Speaker 1: queen at the castle. Your wife's wife and dog. Now,
- 20:34Speaker 1: you don't sleep with your mama, so you're gonna mess
- 20:39Speaker 1: around here that in a minute. Yeah, yeah, we're going
- 20:44Speaker 1: there and sleep with your mammy. You're gonna fee here
- 20:46Speaker 1: that all right? Coming up next and have you in
- 20:49Speaker 1: the building. Would run that frank back right after this.
- 20:53Speaker 1: You're listening. Coming up at the top of the hour, miss,
- 21:00Speaker 1: we'll be here with today's national news and headlines. But
- 21:04Speaker 1: right now it's time for the nephew to run that
- 21:06Speaker 1: brank back. Problems at the valet, at the problems at
- 21:14Speaker 1: the valet, all right, I'm gonna say one more time.
- 21:17Speaker 1: I said, problem at the valet, all right, all right, past,
- 21:23Speaker 1: oh all right, cat dog, if you would hello, hey, hold,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm going Hey Tommy, how's it going? Hey man? What's
- 21:32Speaker 1: going on? You doing all right? I'm doing good, doing good?
- 21:35Speaker 1: What's up? Hey? Listen? I need you to do something
- 21:37Speaker 1: for me. But you need your your your cartels. No no, no, no,
- 21:41Speaker 1: no no no, not because we listen. If I got
- 21:43Speaker 1: someone want you to do for me, I'm doing a
- 21:45Speaker 1: plank phone call, and I want you to call this
- 21:47Speaker 1: guy and tell him you're the valet downstairs, ask him
- 21:51Speaker 1: for his ticket number and tell him, hey, we got
- 21:53Speaker 1: a little bit of an issue. But my my manager's
- 21:55Speaker 1: gonna call you back. Uh. Are you sure you want
- 21:58Speaker 1: me to do it? You're the valet guy, That's all
- 22:00Speaker 1: you gotta do? All right? What does the Mexican guy
- 22:03Speaker 1: gotta be a de valet guy and you get to
- 22:05Speaker 1: be the manager. What's up with that? I'll put a
- 22:08Speaker 1: click on with Nick the car. All I want you
- 22:10Speaker 1: to do is just killing you new to Vallet guy?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Will you do that for me? All right? Man? I
- 22:14Speaker 1: got you? All right? All right, all right? Hay On
- 22:16Speaker 1: hay On? Hello? Hello? Is this mister Franklin? Yes? Can
- 22:22Speaker 1: I ask us calling? Oh? Yes, Um, I'm I'm Orlando
- 22:26Speaker 1: with Vallet. Did you start collectis with us about thirty
- 22:28Speaker 1: minutes ago? Yeah? I did. What's what's going on? What's
- 22:32Speaker 1: this about? I'm just gonna need your ticket number real quick.
- 22:35Speaker 1: There's a small issue. And once you get the ticket number,
- 22:39Speaker 1: I could have my manager just call you back five
- 22:42Speaker 1: three four six. But why do you why do you
- 22:45Speaker 1: need my ticket number? Is there something wrong with my car.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Something happened. Um, my manager will call you back and
- 22:50Speaker 1: he'll give you all the details. Oh okay, so, so
- 22:53Speaker 1: something did happen to my car? Um? Once I give
- 22:57Speaker 1: him my manager your ticket number, he'll call you back

- 30:33Speaker 1: station when they're singing to Twitter on talk, I don't talk, raider.
- 30:38Speaker 1: I don't care what they're talking about. We started listening
- 30:40Speaker 1: to talk the minute you open your mouth, and amazes
- 30:44Speaker 1: and gentlemen, we are here to do. Like when we're
- 30:51Speaker 1: going Crosstown to my Auntie High, I hadn't been there
- 30:54Speaker 1: a thousand times, but my wife want to give me
- 30:57Speaker 1: direction though on how to go this way? Go this, yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 1: party five and then take fifty nine. If you take
- 31:05Speaker 1: fifty nine, we'll get there a little quicker. But we've
- 31:07Speaker 1: been there several times. I know where I'm like, come on, Steve,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I can't dan when people driving they damn car looking
- 31:21Speaker 1: over at an accident that they ain't in am about
- 31:29Speaker 1: to get us in one over him? Yeah, I can't

- 31:40Speaker 1: that window, that window is not to be played with, okay, down,
- 31:46Speaker 1: up and down? Ye yes, or women with hot splashes. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:53Speaker 1: I can't stand that. That's why I got win the locked.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That's why I got locked. Yeah, he got the lock
- 31:59Speaker 1: to win. Take the job off. I'm not not doing it,
- 32:02Speaker 1: not hal from you. I'm not gonna do it. You know.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I can't saying. Right as I get my car washed
- 32:08Speaker 1: and I come pick you up, takeing awhere, If you
- 32:10Speaker 1: eat in my car and drop anything, I don't know
- 32:15Speaker 1: when it. When you're driving, you always notice somebody dropping something.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Got chips. I see the chip fall down your shirt
- 32:24Speaker 1: and to a seat to my float, but you keep
- 32:27Speaker 1: eating like it ain't down that okay, Okay. I hate
- 32:31Speaker 1: to go there. I'm driving in my car. I look
- 32:35Speaker 1: out the little just look out to the peripheral of
- 32:37Speaker 1: my of my right side. Are you hicking? Yo? Know?
- 32:42Speaker 1: Wait a minute, where are you dusting? That? A man
- 32:50Speaker 1: I used to hate getting there somebody's car and don't
- 32:55Speaker 1: nothing work. We ain't got no radio, we got no
- 33:00Speaker 1: al We just send in here hot in silence, and
- 33:10Speaker 1: it is starting to smoke tower. Alright, stee, let's get
- 33:19Speaker 1: to the news. Ladies and gentlemen, miss A and trup.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody, this is a trip well. President Biden
- 33:25Speaker 1: has promised state officials in the Gulf States, the Northeast,
- 33:29Speaker 1: and the West that federal moneys and assistance is on
- 33:32Speaker 1: the way. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to
- 33:35Speaker 1: all the first responders and everyone has been working to
- 33:38Speaker 1: save lives and get power back. And I made clear
- 33:40Speaker 1: to the governors that my team at the Federal Emergency
- 33:43Speaker 1: Management Agency FEMA is on the ground and ready to
- 33:47Speaker 1: provide all the assistance as needed. At the request of
- 33:50Speaker 1: California Governor Newsom, I approved an emergency declaration for California
- 33:55Speaker 1: for the Calder fire, which is burning aggressively toward Lake
- 33:59Speaker 1: tah Basin and in the Nevada. It's one of the
- 34:02Speaker 1: few fires that has ever burned from one side of Sera,
- 34:05Speaker 1: Nevada's mountain range to the other. So far, it's burned
- 34:08Speaker 1: more than two hundred thousand acres. Wow in the president
- 34:12Speaker 1: as a recent disasters service deadly reminders that climate change
- 34:15Speaker 1: is here. By the way, mister Biden's on his way
- 34:18Speaker 1: to the Gulf Coast today calling out the insurance industry
- 34:20Speaker 1: for what it's doing, or more like, what it's not
- 34:23Speaker 1: doing for policyholders in Louisiana. One issue concerns requested reimbursement
- 34:28Speaker 1: for disaster related hotels days. No one fled this killer
- 34:31Speaker 1: storm because they were looking for a vacation or a
- 34:34Speaker 1: road trip. You're able to stay in a hotel. They
- 34:36Speaker 1: left their homes because they felt it was flee or
- 34:40Speaker 1: risk debt. Do the right thing and pay your policyholders
- 34:44Speaker 1: what you owe them. On the bright side, FEMA has
- 34:46Speaker 1: announced some positive changes in the way that the government
- 34:49Speaker 1: verifies homeownership for disaster relief applicants who may lack certain
- 34:53Speaker 1: documents like a formal will, for instance, for inherited property.
- 34:57Speaker 1: For years, that stipulations made it difficult for black homeowners
- 35:00Speaker 1: to get government helped to rebuild after storms because their
- 35:03Speaker 1: families felt, well, this is our house, you take it,
- 35:05Speaker 1: and they never really put it in a will. But
- 35:07Speaker 1: now FEMA under the Biden administration is going to make
- 35:10Speaker 1: it easier for people in that predicament to prove that
- 35:12Speaker 1: their homes were legally left to them. On another issue,
- 35:15Speaker 1: the President Biden's issued a statement condemning the new restrictive
- 35:18Speaker 1: abortion law out of Texas. Mister Biden says the lone
- 35:21Speaker 1: star state that is blatantly violating the constitutional right to
- 35:25Speaker 1: an abortion for women, and the President says his administration
- 35:28Speaker 1: is going to start defending that right, looking for legislation
- 35:30Speaker 1: to stop them. George's Attorney General and died. They form
- 35:34Speaker 1: a district attorney who practically had to be drag kicking
- 35:36Speaker 1: and screaming into bringing charges against the three white men
- 35:39Speaker 1: who surrounded an innocent black Jaga Ahmed Aubery and shot
- 35:42Speaker 1: him to death for no reason. Form a DA Jackie Johnson,
- 35:45Speaker 1: whose white has been charged with violation of oath of office,
- 35:48Speaker 1: obstruction of police officers a job. The Michaels and a
- 35:53Speaker 1: friend surrounded Aubery and shot him to death. She's denied
- 35:57Speaker 1: any wrongdoing. Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, So Junior is here today with
- 36:06Speaker 1: this is a comedy segment you called Junior when dead?
- 36:09Speaker 1: What's that? When did you know? We've been seeing a
- 36:12Speaker 1: lot of things that been happened, but you just don't
- 36:15Speaker 1: know when it started. Like, for example, when did kids
- 36:19Speaker 1: get lucky? You ever go to the this little baby
- 36:23Speaker 1: in front of you, when all my drawls was in
- 36:26Speaker 1: the same luggage, when my grandmother all my drawls up
- 36:30Speaker 1: against the Brazil When did kids getting lucky? I don't
- 36:36Speaker 1: know when it started. When did people start wearing house
- 36:41Speaker 1: shoes everywhere I had church? Somebody stepped out their house
- 36:46Speaker 1: shoes to get to the altar. And now when you
- 36:48Speaker 1: leave your shoes out here in church like that? When
- 36:53Speaker 1: when did it happen? Like when did vegans get so outspoken?
- 36:59Speaker 1: What do you You ain't never know? Who the hell
- 37:02Speaker 1: wasn't vegan? Now? Hey, upsetting by everything you can't eat?
- 37:05Speaker 1: That it had a mother cat vegas. I mean, when
- 37:13Speaker 1: did they all the stump start they speaking up? When
- 37:17Speaker 1: did we just never mind just wearing ripped jeans? Maybe
- 37:19Speaker 1: you should get your ass for your jeans coat? Why
- 37:24Speaker 1: am I looking at the Wayne draws. Just when did
- 37:29Speaker 1: that start? We just don't know when it happened? Man,
- 37:32Speaker 1: When people used to borrow money? Now the ain't cash chef, Yeah,
- 37:37Speaker 1: but dinner you did the ass Remember I cannot borrow?
- 37:41Speaker 1: Was important? Yes, they don't do that, no more, they
- 37:43Speaker 1: don't do none of that. When did big guys just
- 37:45Speaker 1: start showing their stomach with no results? You know, they
- 37:48Speaker 1: don't don't care, no remorse, They just a stomach just
- 37:51Speaker 1: out a matter of fact. When did women just start
- 37:54Speaker 1: wearing their stomach side? You whended all of this half?
- 37:59Speaker 1: When when did white kids get comfortable with saying the
- 38:02Speaker 1: N word to black kids? Where did that start? When
- 38:05Speaker 1: did we start knocking our kids? When did that stop? Knocker?
- 38:09Speaker 1: My nephew is sitting up here making fs at school
- 38:12Speaker 1: and we ain't been school a week. When did this start?
- 38:15Speaker 1: Just when did it happen? We just don't know. We
- 38:18Speaker 1: have to figure out when did that happened? That When
- 38:22Speaker 1: we start thinking about it, stuff stuff changed. Just no, no,
- 38:27Speaker 1: when did it happen? Wow, I'll tell your number. Okay,
- 38:33Speaker 1: here's one that everybody knows. This something We don't even
- 38:35Speaker 1: know when this stought? We remember when when did when
- 38:38Speaker 1: the joggon sup member? When when it meant you was
- 38:40Speaker 1: going jogging? Oh? Yeah, people wearing joggon suits a jogging
- 38:45Speaker 1: No damn what you're talking about? That used to mean
- 38:50Speaker 1: something you got on the jogging suit. I can assume
- 38:53Speaker 1: your ass was going jock Nah. Nah nah. You're asking
- 38:59Speaker 1: drive throughs. You're doing walking in sleeping. I just have
- 39:05Speaker 1: work now. I'm in one right now? All right, thank you, Junior.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I like that. When did All right? We'll have more

- 43:05Speaker 1: Little man be dressed. Yeah, looking just like just like it.
- 43:17Speaker 1: They always looked like clubs. I know you did. Cute man.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Yeah you call it. You walk into lit room calling
- 43:35Speaker 1: your daddy. Man. I had a girl to that one time. Boy,
- 43:41Speaker 1: girl have her little boy three years old. This girl,
- 43:46Speaker 1: the boy came say, hey, daddy, I ain't got no kids.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I'm so scared of that. I got I got him,
- 43:55Speaker 1: never went back and she was fine too. On what
- 44:00Speaker 1: you're not? I ain't got nothing to help nobody with
- 44:06Speaker 1: coming up next, nephew, tell me he's prying phone call.
- 44:08Speaker 1: We'll be back. You're listening Stry Morning Show coming up
- 44:14Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after.
- 44:17Speaker 1: It's today's Strawberry letter. Here's the subject for today. My
- 44:21Speaker 1: wife is living like she's single, live in my bathline
- 44:30Speaker 1: right now. The nephew is here though. Yeah, with today's
- 44:33Speaker 1: praying phone call? What you got for us? Now? Brand
- 44:35Speaker 1: spanking new. Just when it's called triple cast free people
- 44:39Speaker 1: pass and they can you know the family might not
- 44:43Speaker 1: have enough money, Paul them, cass just one cat, triple
- 44:47Speaker 1: can three people, one can the concept? Okay, this can work.
- 44:57Speaker 1: Thank some money they can. Listen Jenkins Mortuary, This is
- 45:01Speaker 1: Calvina Man. Help you. Hey, how are you doing? You? Calvin?
- 45:05Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Brandon Man or Brandon Giles. Kay,
- 45:11Speaker 1: I'm calling. We've got somebody that has passed. Actually three
- 45:16Speaker 1: people we passed away. Yeah, I thank you for that, man.
- 45:22Speaker 1: It was kind of expected, so you know, it wasn't
- 45:26Speaker 1: something that caught us off guard. But you know, but
- 45:28Speaker 1: all in all, you know, we're still grieving about losing
- 45:31Speaker 1: our loved ones. But h but I wanted to give
- 45:33Speaker 1: you all a call. We're trying to um pick a
- 45:37Speaker 1: particular funeral home on who we want to um take
- 45:40Speaker 1: care of. Yes, yes, sir, yes, sir, okay, I can
- 45:45Speaker 1: definitely help you with that. And uh, once again, I
- 45:49Speaker 1: just want to to you know, just let you know
- 45:51Speaker 1: that we can pretty much do the whole game that
- 45:54Speaker 1: we we can make sure that you're need to take
- 45:57Speaker 1: them from you know, from from now on. UM, we're
- 46:00Speaker 1: here for you. Tanting to get that out. What does
- 46:03Speaker 1: your meme need? Uh? You said three people? Sir? Yes, yes, yes,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I wanted to bring attention to you. Do you guys
- 46:13Speaker 1: customize caskets? Yes, we do goal plating, uh, engraving. We
- 46:20Speaker 1: even have a new thing where we can put the
- 46:22Speaker 1: picture of the person on the outside like a semigloss coating.
- 46:27Speaker 1: That's a couple of hours. Yeah, I don't. I don't
- 46:29Speaker 1: need that all. No goal or nothing like that. Listen, listen,
- 46:32Speaker 1: what I want to do. Is it any way that
- 46:35Speaker 1: you could maybe uh customize a casket that can accommodate
- 46:40Speaker 1: three people? Um? Uh yes, like we we can. We
- 46:45Speaker 1: can customize each individual casket for each individual. No, no, no, no, Calvin,
- 46:52Speaker 1: that didn't want to ask. What I'm saying is if
- 46:54Speaker 1: I want to like like I like I said, d
- 46:57Speaker 1: my could they was all close? You know, I don't
- 47:00Speaker 1: have a problem with all three of them being in
- 47:02Speaker 1: the same casket. I get you. Um uh you know,
- 47:08Speaker 1: to my knowledge is as far as I've been in
- 47:10Speaker 1: this business, I've never uh, I'm not really sure we
- 47:14Speaker 1: can actually do that. I mean, I mean, I mean,
- 47:17Speaker 1: but what's the problem if we can get them all
- 47:19Speaker 1: in there and we'll serve I mean, I think that's
- 47:23Speaker 1: a I don't even think if for one, it's legal
- 47:26Speaker 1: in this state or any state, three people in one casket, um,
- 47:32Speaker 1: and ethics wise, I uh, that's not really something that
- 47:37Speaker 1: how can I say that we actually you know, but
- 47:40Speaker 1: if you customizing a casket, Calvin, then you ought to
- 47:43Speaker 1: be able to put as many people in there, if
- 47:45Speaker 1: you make it deep enough and wide enough, ought to
- 47:48Speaker 1: be to get three people in there. Right. Well, the
- 47:51Speaker 1: customization is is the outer side of the casket and
- 47:56Speaker 1: maybe you know some people, uh even put TV screen
- 48:00Speaker 1: on the inside or some of their there their loved ones,
- 48:03Speaker 1: memorable mementos. We customize it for that, you know. Colorwise,
- 48:10Speaker 1: So what about when when is a person real big? Uh?
- 48:13Speaker 1: You know, A heavy said person. You know, you gotta
- 48:15Speaker 1: have a casket that can accommodate them, right, yes, But okay,
- 48:19Speaker 1: so so you ought to be to put you ought
- 48:21Speaker 1: to be able to put three people in one casket
- 48:24Speaker 1: if they can fit, if you put two one way
- 48:27Speaker 1: in one the other other way, then you ought to
- 48:29Speaker 1: be able to have all three of them in there
- 48:31Speaker 1: at one time. Um, is there anybody else around you
- 48:34Speaker 1: and your family that can help talk with me about this?
- 48:38Speaker 1: I'm talking right now. I'm trying to get I'm trying
- 48:41Speaker 1: to accommodate my cousins and get them straight. And I'm
- 48:44Speaker 1: asking you can we get them in a casket, that
- 48:47Speaker 1: one casket that can accommodate three people. If you put
- 48:50Speaker 1: two pillars on money in one pillars, that's not something
- 48:53Speaker 1: we're really uh, That ain't some of you just used
- 48:57Speaker 1: to doing, Calvin. But I'm calling you telling you that's
- 48:59Speaker 1: the way I want this customize man, right all right? Brother,
- 49:02Speaker 1: look brother, brother, just just chill out with customs, all right.
- 49:05Speaker 1: So we're trying to get three people. I have a
- 49:09Speaker 1: standard plan, it'll be a low end standard plan for
- 49:13Speaker 1: three individual caskets that we ain't gotta we all have
- 49:18Speaker 1: enough money for three individual caskets. I keep telling you
- 49:22Speaker 1: that we got room for one casket. We we just
- 49:26Speaker 1: need to big enough, man, so you could get everybody
- 49:28Speaker 1: in there. Close the dope. I'm not gonna I'm not.
- 49:31Speaker 1: I don't want to go back and forth with you, sir.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I know this is a time, then go. You ain't
- 49:35Speaker 1: gotta go back and forth with me. Buildings to our knees.
- 49:38Speaker 1: I can bear my family. It's I don't really know
- 49:41Speaker 1: what to tell you, sir, but I'm just really trying
- 49:43Speaker 1: to help. I'm trying to Won't you tell me you're
- 49:45Speaker 1: gonna get three people in the casket looking good? We
- 49:49Speaker 1: cannot do that. You hauling that man, I'm the one
- 49:52Speaker 1: going through bereaveing. I understand that. But you are, you're
- 49:56Speaker 1: you're you use the foul language it. We can't do it, brother,
- 50:00Speaker 1: you hear me. No, that's no hold on my cousin.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Them said they wanted to you. No, sir, No, okay,
- 50:10Speaker 1: Look look, hey man, y'all gonna bury these three people,
- 50:14Speaker 1: and you're gonna put all three of them in the
- 50:16Speaker 1: same damn casking man two two on one on one
- 50:20Speaker 1: end and one on the other. One man, sir, if
- 50:23Speaker 1: you're drinking. Just ain't nobody. Let me tell you something, man,
- 50:26Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. Your name Calvin, right, yes,
- 50:30Speaker 1: yes it is. Okay, so Calvin, Calvin, let me say
- 50:33Speaker 1: this to you. Either y'all gonna bury my cousin is
- 50:36Speaker 1: the way I want it, or Calvin, you're gonna get
- 50:39Speaker 1: your who you're talking to. That's what's going now. Now,
- 50:43Speaker 1: now that's it, right there, sir. I've been trying to
- 50:45Speaker 1: be as professional as I can this whole conversation. It's
- 50:48Speaker 1: as crazy as it is, but now it ain't nothing
- 50:51Speaker 1: crazy about. No, no, no, no, no. I told you
- 50:53Speaker 1: I want you to bury my cousin. Come on down here.
- 50:55Speaker 1: I got some places to put your body and your
- 50:57Speaker 1: cousin's body. How about that? Huh are you telling me? Yeah?
- 51:01Speaker 1: Because you know you don't. You don't sound too damn confident.
- 51:05Speaker 1: You don't sound too confident, Calvin. I'm gonna tell you
- 51:08Speaker 1: right now. I'm gonna tell you right now, this ain't
- 51:12Speaker 1: the place and I'm not the one you will be
- 51:14Speaker 1: in the ground messing with us. Matter of fact, if
- 51:17Speaker 1: you come here, I'm gonna you up. How about that? Okay, Calvin? Okay, Calvin,
- 51:23Speaker 1: let me tell you something, Calvin, Me and Tommy gonna
- 51:25Speaker 1: be down there to day. Then I'm bringing Tommy with me.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Who it's Tommy? Huh? This is nephew Tommy from the
- 51:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Martin Show. Baby, you just got Frank Calvin. Yo,
- 51:39Speaker 1: y'all have me ready to whip everybody? Tell y'all, I
- 51:43Speaker 1: just want to move up to Reginald. That works. Yes,
- 51:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna. I'm gonna Reggie. You bet watch what you drink?
- 51:52Speaker 1: You bet watch with your team. I'm on your to revenge. Man, Hey, Calvin,
- 51:58Speaker 1: give me this man, what's the baddest I mean, the
- 52:00Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. Man, you know it's
- 52:03Speaker 1: nothing but the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all, y'all got
- 52:07Speaker 1: got me? Got me, y'all ain't with me? But I'm
- 52:11Speaker 1: just like two bodies this boy, one body this way,
- 52:15Speaker 1: had to foot three different pillows. We work that thing,
- 52:19Speaker 1: ie cat. Yeah, well you're probably gonna need ten j
- 52:25Speaker 1: You're probably gonna need five on each side. Roll. Yeah,
- 52:31Speaker 1: but you saved some money, Jay Dolly, like like bunk
- 52:36Speaker 1: beds for three people. All right, I got a bad idea.

- 53:26Speaker 1: got it for you. Here it is the Strawberry Letter. Yeah.
- 53:30Speaker 1: This is a letter where you, our audience, write us
- 53:32Speaker 1: and we give you advice. Can make up? No, no,
- 53:36Speaker 1: no no. People think we do though, because they're so crazy,
- 53:38Speaker 1: but no, here we go. Subject my wife is living
- 53:41Speaker 1: like She's single. Dear Stephen Shirley. I have been married
- 53:44Speaker 1: to my childhood sweetheart for eight years and we have
- 53:49Speaker 1: two wonderful children. Early on, we had problems in our
- 53:52Speaker 1: marriage and we separated for a short period, but we
- 53:56Speaker 1: worked things out and I thought we were back on track.
- 53:59Speaker 1: My wife a minute that during our separation she had
- 54:02Speaker 1: flings with two other guys. She compared me to the
- 54:07Speaker 1: guys she had the flings with and bragged about the
- 54:10Speaker 1: money and the nice things they had. I am an
- 54:13Speaker 1: educated guy and I have a great full time job
- 54:16Speaker 1: and a part time job for extra money, but it's
- 54:19Speaker 1: not enough for my wife. She told me that I
- 54:22Speaker 1: need to be making six figures to keep her happy.
- 54:26Speaker 1: She has a demanding full time job, so she doesn't
- 54:29Speaker 1: do much around the house. I cook, I clean, I
- 54:33Speaker 1: take the kids too and from school, wash the clothes,
- 54:36Speaker 1: help the kids with homework, and maintain the law. She
- 54:41Speaker 1: neglects my sexual needs too, because she goes out most
- 54:45Speaker 1: days after work to unwind, and when she comes home
- 54:49Speaker 1: she says she's exhausted. A few days after Christmas, she
- 54:54Speaker 1: told me that I need to find a nice woman
- 54:56Speaker 1: that will appreciate me and the little bit I have
- 54:59Speaker 1: to offer, because she needs more. She told me that
- 55:03Speaker 1: after I found her texting one of her old flings,
- 55:07Speaker 1: I asked her to see the text and she showed
- 55:10Speaker 1: it to me. The guy was asking her for sex again,
- 55:14Speaker 1: and he said that their chemistry is unmatched. I am
- 55:18Speaker 1: trying to stick out for my kids, but I cannot
- 55:21Speaker 1: be her doormat in the process. She doesn't respect me
- 55:24Speaker 1: as the man of the house. And I am not
- 55:26Speaker 1: sure how we got to this point, but she is
- 55:29Speaker 1: very disrespectful. Do you think I should try to stay
- 55:33Speaker 1: for the sake of my kids? Or make her wishes
- 55:36Speaker 1: come true? And leaves? Who wrote this? Let the husband
- 55:43Speaker 1: the husband? It seems like a letter that a wife
- 55:45Speaker 1: would write, but now this time the husband wrote this one.
- 55:49Speaker 1: And you know, doesn't the grass always look greener on
- 55:52Speaker 1: the other side. I mean, she's, you know, thinking that
- 55:54Speaker 1: these guys who were taking her out when she was
- 55:56Speaker 1: on a break from you, you know, spending money, a
- 55:59Speaker 1: nice things and all that. Yeah, but she came back home.
- 56:03Speaker 1: She's not with him, so the grass always looks greener
- 56:06Speaker 1: on the other side. I have to ask you, though,
- 56:08Speaker 1: what do you want to do? I mean, you're asking
- 56:11Speaker 1: us should you stay for the sake of your kids?
- 56:13Speaker 1: I'm sure you don't want to stay with a wife
- 56:15Speaker 1: who continues to disrespect you like your wife does. I mean,
- 56:19Speaker 1: kids are no kids. You don't have to take this man,
- 56:21Speaker 1: You don't have to take you do know that, right,
- 56:24Speaker 1: I mean, where's your dignity, where's your self respect? Getting
- 56:27Speaker 1: your kids and leaving her will probably be the best
- 56:30Speaker 1: thing you can do to save yourself and your two children.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Okay from this mama right now, she's just out of order.
- 56:39Speaker 1: I mean, you says she's disrespectful. She's all of that.
- 56:42Speaker 1: You sound like a good man, a hard working man
- 56:45Speaker 1: and all of that. You know, you're cooking and cleaning
- 56:47Speaker 1: and doing all this stuff and taking the kids at school,
- 56:50Speaker 1: working two jobs. You shouldn't be a dormat for her,
- 56:53Speaker 1: So you're right about that. She definitely is disrespecting you,
- 56:59Speaker 1: and I think you should take her advice. I really do.
- 57:02Speaker 1: I think you there is a nice woman who'll appreciate you.
- 57:05Speaker 1: There are plenty of them, as a matter of fact,
- 57:07Speaker 1: who'll take you and the kids. So um, get on
- 57:10Speaker 1: out of there. Okay, you don't have to take this.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Steve who wrote this letter, he did. My wife admitted
- 57:19Speaker 1: doing our separation. She had a fleeing with two other guys.
- 57:22Speaker 1: She just been out there just lounding, not know off
- 57:26Speaker 1: fail she's been doing what lound just out here just
- 57:35Speaker 1: showing her natural two flings. That was enough. She gonna
- 57:41Speaker 1: compare the guys that she had the flings with, bragged
- 57:44Speaker 1: about the money and the nice things they had. She
- 57:47Speaker 1: gonna come back home and tell me about it. Well,
- 57:50Speaker 1: you might want to stay your ass out there, so
- 57:53Speaker 1: disament from me. You ain't going to brain you have
- 57:55Speaker 1: to come back. Steve Harvet, tell me this here. Who
- 57:57Speaker 1: you think I am? But who you talking to? Then
- 58:02Speaker 1: let's go. I am an educated guy and have a
- 58:05Speaker 1: full great, full time job and a part time job
- 58:08Speaker 1: for extra money, but it's not enough for my wife.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Somebody told me something one time. I just want to
- 58:14Speaker 1: share with you, a very very wealthy person. He said,
- 58:17Speaker 1: if you got one job and it ain't cutting it
- 58:20Speaker 1: for you, why would you go get another? One of
- 58:23Speaker 1: them said, if you got a job that ain't cutting for,
- 58:26Speaker 1: your next movie is you're gonna have to open some
- 58:28Speaker 1: type of little hustle on the side of business. But
- 58:31Speaker 1: he said, always talking, he said, don't go get another job.
- 58:34Speaker 1: Oh okay, he said, because you got one job ain't
- 58:37Speaker 1: working for why would you get another? One of them? Right,
- 58:40Speaker 1: So that was a very educational thing I learned. She
- 58:45Speaker 1: told me that he needed to be making six figures
- 58:48Speaker 1: to keep her happy. Now you got two jobs that
- 58:50Speaker 1: ain't making six figures. So you're just working all the
- 58:53Speaker 1: day and you still ain't making six figures. But this
- 58:55Speaker 1: health a right here and told you that's what you
- 58:58Speaker 1: need to do to make her happy. Get on back
- 59:01Speaker 1: out there and get the flaming again. Yeah, what you
- 59:04Speaker 1: probably need to do now. She has a demanding full
- 59:07Speaker 1: time job, so she don't do much around in the house.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Now what y'all listen to this? Right here? He working
- 59:13Speaker 1: two jobs already, Right, she got a demanding full time job.
- 59:18Speaker 1: But he say, I cooked clean, take the kids to
- 59:23Speaker 1: and from school, washed clothes, help the kids with homework,
- 59:28Speaker 1: and maintain the loan. Already got two jobs. I just
- 59:32Speaker 1: told this help. I got a full time job at
- 59:35Speaker 1: a part time job. I ain't got time for this hill, right,
- 59:39Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, hang on. We're gonna have part two
- 59:41Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three after the
- 59:44Speaker 1: hour's subject my wife is living like she's single. We'll
- 59:50Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening show, all right,
- 59:55Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter, Part two
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: of your response to and that's this woman don't want
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: this man. When they separated, she had a fleeing and
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: now she compared the guys to her. He do all
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the work and he got two jobs. She neglects my
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: sexual needs because she goes out most days after work
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: to unwind, and when she come home she exhausted. Question
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: when she out there unwinned after hard day work and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: when she comes home she's exhausted. What you think she
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: exhausted from unworked unwinding ain't exhausted. It's when you getting
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: wound up that's exhausted. It's when you get somebody winding
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: her up real tight. And then what that's what is
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: get getting tight? Now? She do that three times a night. Boy,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: she coming in this house tied as hell. Then a
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: few days after Christmas, she told me, I need to
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: find a nice woman that appreciate me and a little
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: bit that I had off. Well, you know, she just
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: told you, you need to go find you somebody post
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: and dog gonna you can do that, Yeah, because she
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: needs most she told me. I found I found her
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: texting one of her old friends. I asked her to
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: see the text. She showed it to me. First of all,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you're not finna be that comfortable in my house where
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: I asked you to see the texting him. Yeah, you're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: gonna have seen me somewhere in my life go off
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: on somebody where you would have you would pause and
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: go you know what. Showing him to text right now
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: probably ain't gonna be the best thing because he has
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: an ignity side to it, and I don't want to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: see it. But na, see, you ain't never demonstrated that.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Let me see what you're texting, Hilly. Oh you're comfortable
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: with him? Yea. The guy was asking her for sex again,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and he said that the chemistry is unmatched. I'm trying
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to stick it out for my kid What women did
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: I read that the guy was asking her for sex
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: again and he said that the chemistry is unmatched. I'm
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: trying to stick it out for my kids. Is missing?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Who asked? What did you start before you said, I'm
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: trying to stick it out for the kids, but I
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: cannot be her dormat in the process. She don't respect
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: me as the man of the house, the man of
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: the house. Dog, you ain't been the man in the house.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Then she went out there and had them too fleas.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I'm not sure how we got to this point, as
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: that's why you typed the letter. You're not sure how
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you got to this point. I'm I'm crystal clear how
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you got. Y'all was going wrong in your lives, your childhood, sweetheart,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: y'all got married, hadn't experienced no light. Then y'all had
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: some problems in the relationship. She went out there and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: had a taste of light. And the taste she had
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: wasn't the taste you've been giving up. See what you
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: had been laying down, she thought was fool. Then she
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: ran out there and ran up into rowdy rodding it pipe.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: She ran up the rowdy roddy pipe. Then she ran
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: up in the big big dusty rolls. Then she ran
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: up in the or the junk yard. Then she ran
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: up in the earning of that bow both for zeal
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: ran up into the chic and ran up into some
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: people that was tossing up, keeping all up in the
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: air and getting flipped. Andrea Jian ran up in that rando, sat,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you got some I got something flat its gorgeous. Jean
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: ran up there and ran up into some rick flat
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: whoa and got turned the old ut out. Now she
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: come back home and shed here with little tiny teen,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: litle little little chemic to frogs, keeping in here playing
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Sesame street keep him been out there in the streets
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: and ran up into the ww L. He hadn't been
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: in bed with the undertake all. I hadn't had a
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: date with Triple X. Been all over the place, getting
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: throwed from ConA to coner, tossed into the ropes, flying
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: off on the turn buckle. Then all of a sudden,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Dwayne Johnson his hands on it, soup flavor, put her
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: in her head lock, put her in a soup flavor,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: and all of a sudden overhead fires, carry over boom.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: She was on the ground. Now she back at the house.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You ain't picking up the one across the rain. Yeah,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: you ain't jumping off the top rope. You ain't used
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: none of the tree. Now, she don't want you know.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That's how you got to this point. What you need
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to do is do like she said, find you somebody
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: that appreciate the little bit you got, that little bit
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: of money you're making, that little bit of love, and
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you that little teaspooner thing you've been just shelveding around
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: like you like you've been just dropping. You've been dropping
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: bringing hamlework that ain't hammelework. That's number two leaded pencils.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Work you've been doing. You ain't been doing what you
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: thought you would do. She went out rand set. All right,
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Guys, email us, your

- 1:06:54Speaker 1: but while you, I'm trying to go ahead take her back.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: After she cheated, though, and explained to my family why
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: it was all right? Yeah that was that was still
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: yeah that I ain't never done that journey. You ain't
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: never done that. Oh yeah, I stole a necklace. It's
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: what you can't be prep from the main company the girl. Yeah,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: because I didn't have no money and I was crazy
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: about it, and I got caught going out the door.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: White dude had on a sweatshirt and gym shoes. He
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: was fast too. It was fast too, just wasn't quite
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: fast and though he had me. And then when I
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: gave him my jacket, though, and I was so thin
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: then that didn't mean nothing to me. It was damn
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: near irrelevant. I slipped out that jacket so fast. I
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: just let my arms go, little black spaghetti. He had
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: the jacket. That white dude I got out on a prospect,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: that white boy star chasing me. That dude was fast
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: or he had no idea who he was chasing. Dog Dog,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I was un catchable back then. I looked back. I said, man,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: he's still on hill. And I just went on and
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: just dropped it down in Nitro was gone. Put that
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: black on him head when you're scared. When you're scared, dog,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I would put that black speed on it that he
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: hadn't seen. Sound like an indie car, Yeah that was.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: And he yelled at me back to the store again,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: or to be years, partner, don't worry. And when I
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: did go back and may company, I looked, I had

- 1:14:17Speaker 1: situation so sad and cursed out the people. You know
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: how Cardi B is. She cursed out the people who

- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Cardie says she was a sweetheart. Yeah. Mercedes More, whose
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: real name was Janet Gagnier or Gagnier, was found dead
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: in her apartment in Houston earlier this week in an
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: apparent murder suicide. Carla. Her mother says that her daughter
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: was very cautious about her surroundings, but unfortunately someone was
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: basically stalking her and killed my baby. Her father said
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: he discovered her body on the floor with her clothes
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: torn up, and went upstairs to find a man with
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: a knife in him, still alive, and said I just
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: couldn't do nothing but stand there and call the police.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: Mercedes parents believe this man was crazy, follower and stalker. Wow,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: this is such a sad story. But this is just

- 1:15:54Speaker 1: you know? We've been seeing a lot of things that
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: have been happening, but you just don't know when it
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: stought it? For example, when did kids get lucky? You
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: never go to that this little baby in front of you,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: When all my drawls was in the same luggage, when
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: my grandmother all my draws up against the Brazil. When
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: did kids getting lucky? I don't know when it started.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: When did people start wearing house shoes everywhere? I had church?
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Somebody stepped out their house shoes to get to the altar.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: And now when you leave your shoes out here in
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: church like that? When when did it happen? Like? When
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: did vegans get so outspoken? What do you mean you
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: ain't never know? Who the hell wasn't vegan? That he
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: upsetting by everything you can't eat? That it had a mother?
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: I can vegans? Is I mean? When did all this
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: stuff starts they speaking up? When did we just never
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: mind just wearing ripped jeans? Remember used to get your
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: ass for your jeans? Told? Why am I looking at
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Duayne's draws? When did that start? We just don't know.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: When it happened. When people used to borrow money? Now
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: they't cash haff Yeah, but dinner he didn't the ass?
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Remember I cannot borrow? Was important? Yes, they don't do that,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: no more, they don't do none of that. When did
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: big guys just start showing their stomach with no results?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: You know they don't they don't care, no remarse, They
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: just the stomach just out a matter of fact, When
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: did women just start wearing their stomach side? When did
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: all of this happen? When? When did white kids get
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: comfortable saying the N word to black kids? When did
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: that start? When did we start knocking our kids? When
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: did that stop? Now, because my nephew is sitting up
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: here making fls at school and we ain't been a
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: school a week, when did this start? Just when did
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: it happen? We just don't know. We have to figure
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: out when did that happened? That started thinking about it?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Just stuff stuff changed? M No, No, when did it happen? Wow?
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I'll tell you another profile. Okay, here's one that that
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: everybody knows. This something we don't even know when they started.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: But remember when when did win a jogging? Sup? Member?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: When when it meant you was going jogging? Oh? Yeah,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: people wearing jogging suits ain't jogging? No, damn what you're
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: talking about me? That's used to mean something you got
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: on the jogging suit. I can assume your ask was
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: going jock nah. Nah, you're asking drive throughs. You know
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: you ain't doing walking in it? Sleeping right now, I'm
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: just saying at work now, I'm in one right now?
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: All right? Thank you, junior. I like that. All right,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: coming up our last break of the day and some
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey. Right
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: after this, we'll be back at forty nine after you're
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: listening to. All right, Steve, here we are last break
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: of the day. Boy, oh boy, what a day it
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: has been. Oh my goodness, um, but a great day,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: A great day, all of them been good. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: all right, Steve, you can take us home with some
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: closing remarks. Well, here's here's something I want to share.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: I've really gotten into this mode of sharing some of
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the things I've learned this year when I was when
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I've started doing these morning meditations. And I just started
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: it this year, everybody, So I'm not like, you know,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: I've been doing this for years anything. I just started
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: it this year and it's probably been one of the
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: best changes that I've bought about myself mentally, spiritually for
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: just to have the right state of mind to continue
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: up the road. And I just want to talk to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: you all about about your relationship with God. And once again,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: this is not that I'm an expert at this, because
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: trust and believe I'm not. I'm growing every day with
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: this I'm learning, but I'm in a sharing mode of
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: trying to share you what I've learned. So you don't
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: feel like you don't want out there tripping on this thing,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: because I have too. And so I just want to
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: talk to you about what happened to me when I
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: just started to give God a bigger presence in my life.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And I want you all to listen to this. If
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: you're on the outside like I was, or you borderline
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: like me, if you gave God a bigger presence in
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: your life, what could happen if you just gave him
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: a chance. I just want to throw this out there,
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: just what could happen if you would just give him
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: a chance to have just a bigger presence in your life?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Because what it did for me, man, it brightened up
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: some of the dullest of my great days. You not
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: have some days? Man, while I felt overworked, overstressed, the monotony,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: it over it all. You know, when you when you
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: give God a chance, God can put a sparkle in
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: the routine of your daily life. Because see what happens
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: is and I found this to be true in my situation,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: and maybe some of you can relate to this. You
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: gotta repeat so many tasks day after day. You know,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it just gets monotonous. You got it. You go to
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: work at the same time, you drive the same route.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: You got the same task at your job. You work
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: around the same people, you said, at the same cubicle
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: or the same station. You work in the same route.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: You know, you drive the same way to work and
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: take the same amount of time. You listen to the
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: same music. This monotony, this monotony can oftentimes dull your
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: inky and when you're when you get monotonous in your thinking,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: it does it and then your mind slips into neutral.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: So you know, you know what I mean, when your
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: mind isn't stimulated, when your mind slips into neutral because
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: the monotony, you can do it with your eyes sleep.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: You don't need to even think about it. You know
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: your way to work, you know the way home. You
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: ever noticed you'd be driving all of a sudden, you
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: just know that this is your exiting just monotonous. Your
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: mind can slip into neutral. Well, when your mind isn't neutral,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: it becomes unfocused, and then it's vulnerable to the world.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: It's vulnerable to the devil. You remember, old people used
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: to say the idle mind is a devil's playground. This
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: is what it's talking about. And when your day to
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: day task become monotonous, your mind can slip into neutral
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: and all of a sudden and idle mind is the
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: devil playground. And then that just pulls your thoughts down
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: with and as your thinking process start to deteriorate because
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: it is monotony has become so mundane, you become confused
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: about a lot of stuff and you feel like you
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: ain't got no direction. But the best way, the best
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: remedy to refocus your mind is that relationship with God.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: You need God, man, you really do. And I ain't.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: I ain't talking like I've had him my whole life,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: even though he's been around me. My Mama raised me
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: in the church. I sleep it off. I was doing
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: my thing. But man, in the total realization of it,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: on the real, just on the low low, you need God, man,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you really do. He offers you guidance, saying, companionship, and
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: it can clear up a lot of stuff for you. Man.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: And look, I ain't trying to tell you, man that
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you got to become Bible thumping off or you know,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: or what have people thinking of? You as a holy
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: role or something like that. Now I've known that's what
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: you're running from because I try to duct the terminology
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: myself and that labels that people put on you. But man,
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: don't trip on that. Don't trip on that. I'm telling you, man,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: go farm yourself in relationship with God. It becomes so
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: helpful to you. What would happen if you just gave
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: God a chance. Let me just think about it, man,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: if you made more room in your heart for God,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: what could possibly happen? I mean, look, you got so
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: much that's going on in your life, so many challenges
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: and barriers and things that you up against, and so
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: much indecision and confusion and wanting to know your beck,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: your next move. Well, why don't you try this? Man,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Why don't you sit down and just tell God that
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you really needed that, you really need some help, and
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: you really need a companion and you would love to
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: have his advice and his counseling. You ain't got to
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: go nowhere to do that. Man, You could just do
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: that today, but it would slow the hound some of
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: this tripping. I'm telling you, man, God performs miracles all
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: the time. God make dreams come true. What would happen
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: if you just gave him a chance. Open up your
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: heart a little bit, man, make God a greater presence
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: in your life. Man, and he could do some miraculous
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: things from All you got to do is ask he
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: don't ever walk away from people are seeking him. Okay,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: talk to God. He'd love to hear from you. Y'all.
