- 2:24Speaker 2: You want to phrase it another way, I want you
- 2:26Speaker 2: to catch on fire today, but I need you to
- 2:30Speaker 2: catch fire today. I need today to be today that
- 2:34Speaker 2: you stop complaining and you do something. Do you know
- 2:38Speaker 2: why a lot of people can't move forward in their
- 2:40Speaker 2: life because they complaining about their past? They always complaining,
- 2:45Speaker 2: man about something? Is that explains the reason why they are.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Let me help you with this right here. If you
- 2:52Speaker 2: are steady complaining about the reason you are, you know,
- 2:56Speaker 2: if I hadn't met this man, if I hadn't have
- 2:58Speaker 2: been involved with this woman, and if I hadn't have
- 3:00Speaker 2: had this baby, if I had never went down there,
- 3:03Speaker 2: if I hadn't have got arrested, if I hadn't this,
- 3:06Speaker 2: if I hadn't it at, if I had a just
- 3:08Speaker 2: finished school, if I had to Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 3:11Speaker 2: stop stop all that stuff that you're complaining about, everything
- 3:18Speaker 2: that you keep allowing to resonate with you as a
- 3:21Speaker 2: reason to justify and explain you not being successful. Can
- 3:26Speaker 2: I share something with you about all of that? Guess
- 3:29Speaker 2: what it is? You done, got past all of it.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You didn't have the baby, you got arrested, they didn't
- 3:36Speaker 2: kill you, you didn't finish school, but you're still standing.
- 3:40Speaker 2: You met that man, he gone, He involved with two
- 3:42Speaker 2: other women. Right now, I got three other kids. Guess what.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You still here and the baby's here. You got over
- 3:49Speaker 2: all the injustices that were done to you. You got
- 3:52Speaker 2: something happened to you when you was a kid. You're
- 3:55Speaker 2: an adult now. Somebody did something to you when you
- 3:57Speaker 2: was a little boy. Guess what, man, Now, some things
- 4:02Speaker 2: happen to you that you haven't found closure on. The
- 4:06Speaker 2: person that you're looking for closure from has moved on.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Can I tell you that everything that has happened to you?
- 4:13Speaker 2: Do you know you've gotten pasted it? So why are
- 4:17Speaker 2: you steady complaining about what has happened to you that
- 4:21Speaker 2: has caused you to be in this position? But do
- 4:24Speaker 2: you understand that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop
- 4:27Speaker 2: complaining today, catch fire, Let your pass be your past.
- 4:31Speaker 2: I've told this to you one hundred times on this radio,
- 4:33Speaker 2: but I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jakes told me
- 4:36Speaker 2: something man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive
- 4:41Speaker 2: your car if you gonna keep looking in the rear
- 4:44Speaker 2: view mirror. That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield
- 4:50Speaker 2: is huge. The rearview mirror is this tiny thing that
- 4:54Speaker 2: sits up there. Now all is far. It's so you
- 4:57Speaker 2: can see stuff that's coming up on you. All the
- 5:01Speaker 2: rearview mirror for is so you can assure yourself. Oh,
- 5:05Speaker 2: listen to this. The realview mirror is imp there to
- 5:08Speaker 2: assure you that you've cleared something.
- 5:12Speaker 8: See.
- 5:12Speaker 2: That's what the rearview mirrors for. So when you pass
- 5:14Speaker 2: the can you want to switch lanes, you can glance
- 5:17Speaker 2: up there and it says, okay, you're clear. Now you
- 5:20Speaker 2: passed it. You can switch lanes. That's all the rearview
- 5:23Speaker 2: mirrors for. It ain't for you to stare at and
- 5:26Speaker 2: dictate your life with what you're tripping for. Man, catch
- 5:29Speaker 2: fire today today, Man, quit complaining about everything that did
- 5:35Speaker 2: happened to you. Life is ten percent. What happens to
- 5:38Speaker 2: you is ninety percent. What you do about what happens
- 5:40Speaker 2: to you? What are you going to do about it?
- 5:44Speaker 2: So what I got all this? Look, man, your story
- 5:47Speaker 2: ain't no deeper than nobody else's. I can tell you
- 5:50Speaker 2: I was homeless for three years. It's people been homeless
- 5:53Speaker 2: for thirty years. How long I'm gonna ride that out?
- 5:58Speaker 8: Man?
- 5:58Speaker 2: You know I can't do nothing right now. I fell
- 6:01Speaker 2: on hard times and I lost my place to stay.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Where you staying now? See the majority of people are
- 6:09Speaker 2: staying somewhere right now. I was out there. I didn't
- 6:12Speaker 2: have nowhere to go. I'm in a shelter. Now. You
- 6:15Speaker 2: was under the bridge a week ago. You into shelter.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Now why you still crying about the bridge? You in
- 6:22Speaker 2: a shelter now. Man. You know how you find your purpose?
- 6:28Speaker 2: You get in touch with who created you. Because when
- 6:33Speaker 2: God made you, he had a purpose in mind. Now
- 6:37Speaker 2: we've ignored it and we haven't tapped into it. But
- 6:40Speaker 2: we all had a purpose. You don't, and it's sometimes
- 6:43Speaker 2: it takes people be longing to discover the purpose. Colonel
- 6:47Speaker 2: Sanders was frying chicken with a recipe that he was
- 6:51Speaker 2: telling people was the best chicken in the world. Ain't
- 6:53Speaker 2: nobody believe him till he turned seventy. Why you think
- 6:59Speaker 2: the dude that's on the Kentucky Fried Chicken signs is old.
- 7:04Speaker 2: That dude ain't twenty up there he oh, he oh,
- 7:08Speaker 2: But you know what, he had been frying that chicken
- 7:12Speaker 2: for forty some years. They just found out about it
- 7:16Speaker 2: when he was seventy. But he didn't give up his
- 7:21Speaker 2: purpose in life. This dude was just frying chicken. See,
- 7:24Speaker 2: people keep looking for their gifts in all kinds of
- 7:26Speaker 2: places when it's right there in you. You ain't got
- 7:29Speaker 2: to go to school to find your gift. You're born
- 7:32Speaker 2: with the gift that God got for you. You'll go
- 7:34Speaker 2: to school to tack it on to something else. But
- 7:38Speaker 2: your gift was already given to you. You were born
- 7:40Speaker 2: with that. You don't have to go to college to
- 7:42Speaker 2: know your gift. Your college allows you to enhance it
- 7:45Speaker 2: and to find something to attach it to and hopefully
- 7:48Speaker 2: you get a degree that attaches your gift to a
- 7:51Speaker 2: vehicle where it can work. The problem with college is
- 7:55Speaker 2: we go to college and we attach it to what
- 7:57Speaker 2: we like or what we might be passionate about, nor
- 8:00Speaker 2: the gift we have. You know how many people and
- 8:02Speaker 2: graduated from college ain't doing nothing they went to college for.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Come on, man, you know why because you discovering life,
- 8:08Speaker 2: your gift. You discover what you was born to do.
- 8:11Speaker 2: I wasn't bought you know what I mean? You know
- 8:13Speaker 2: what my major was in college? It was advertising. I
- 8:17Speaker 2: can't be at no death, drawing, no picture for nobody.
- 8:20Speaker 2: But now guess what I can wake up every day
- 8:22Speaker 2: and guess what I can tell you. I advertise. I've
- 8:25Speaker 2: been advertising my career. Come see me live. Come see
- 8:28Speaker 2: me live at Madison Square, guard Come see me live
- 8:31Speaker 2: at Phillips Winga. Come see me live at Jokers Comedy Club.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Come see me live at Percy's. Come see me live
- 8:37Speaker 2: at Elisis Tabitt. Come see me live. I've been advertising
- 8:41Speaker 2: the whole time, but I had a different purpose in
- 8:45Speaker 2: mind because I went and I talked to God. And
- 8:48Speaker 2: this is how you do it. You go talk to
- 8:50Speaker 2: God and say, hey, God, look, okay, this is the deal.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I've been struggling here. I'm over forty. I still haven't
- 8:57Speaker 2: found my purpose in life. Okay, but so I can
- 9:00Speaker 2: quit wasting any more time? Would you help direct me
- 9:04Speaker 2: and guide me to my purpose? I know you created
- 9:07Speaker 2: me to do something. I just haven't found what it is.
- 9:10Speaker 2: And the reason I haven't found what it is because
- 9:12Speaker 2: I've been doing things my way. I ain't been checking
- 9:14Speaker 2: with you, confirming with you on anything. I ain't locked in.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I tried to settle it up with you. I've been
- 9:20Speaker 2: just doing my thing. Well, my thing has gotten me
- 9:22Speaker 2: as far as it can get me. How about you
- 9:25Speaker 2: take over and do your thing now? Can you direct
- 9:28Speaker 2: me in my path? I'm an open book. Treat me
- 9:32Speaker 2: like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man, if
- 9:35Speaker 2: you go to God, he'll give it to you. But
- 9:37Speaker 2: see you have not because you ask not. How many
- 9:41Speaker 2: times have you asked God for it? This ain't no
- 9:46Speaker 2: magic trick, y'all. This is the deal. You got to
- 9:49Speaker 2: catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am. I'm excited
- 9:53Speaker 2: about today. I've got a lot to do.
- 9:56Speaker 9: You're listening, show.
- 10:01Speaker 2: You know what today? It's today? After the birthday. But
- 10:07Speaker 2: I'm still doing the birthday because.
- 10:09Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I don't know on you and I ain't even really
- 10:13Speaker 2: one of them people that do birthday weeks and birthday
- 10:17Speaker 2: months and all like that.
- 10:18Speaker 4: I'm just.
- 10:20Speaker 2: I guess I'm still just glad I made it. That's
- 10:24Speaker 2: all it is. You're greatlad I made it, man, because
- 10:29Speaker 2: I had a couple of woo moments along that way. Now,
- 10:32Speaker 2: but it didn't look like Steve har Marny show jamming
- 10:34Speaker 2: this morning.
- 10:34Speaker 10: Y'all.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Hope you feel good today.
- 10:36Speaker 4: I do.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Did you tell God you appreciate him working up? Because
- 10:39Speaker 2: that's who did it. Let's get that thing started with
- 10:41Speaker 2: the right gratitude because if you got the right gratitude
- 10:44Speaker 2: and affect your attitude, and once you change your attitude
- 10:46Speaker 2: and change altitude, that's we got to remember that show
- 10:49Speaker 2: Strawberry calling for real, Junior or Nephew Tommy, Mississippi Monica,
- 10:53Speaker 2: all of us we here, Jr.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Junior?
- 10:55Speaker 11: YEA, how you feel you.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Feel different? Do you feel changed?
- 11:05Speaker 8: Man?
- 11:06Speaker 2: I'm a little bit. Yeah, I'm still fly. I ain't
- 11:09Speaker 2: gonna change, but you know, like I ain't.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, I guess.
- 11:16Speaker 4: I ain't.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I ain't gonna ever quit pivot that that that.
- 11:18Speaker 1: That that, that's just not I love it.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not finna do that doog? You know?
- 11:28Speaker 2: I guess though, man, probably what I'm most changed about
- 11:33Speaker 2: is and Carl has said it best. We were talking
- 11:37Speaker 2: off the air, well, I really don't care. Oh yeah,
- 11:48Speaker 2: I don't care. Listen, do you know what, man? If
- 11:51Speaker 2: I don't know you and I know you don't know me,
- 11:57Speaker 2: and you start saying something about me that ain't the truth, man,
- 12:03Speaker 2: what do I care? I could care less, man, And
- 12:09Speaker 2: why would you address it?
- 12:10Speaker 4: You know?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Somebody has told me reached. They said, Man, so you
- 12:14Speaker 2: are gonna Are you gonna dress any of this stuff
- 12:16Speaker 2: that's out there on the internet? I said, no, I'm not,
- 12:20Speaker 2: I said, because you have to understand something.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Man.
- 12:24Speaker 2: The internet only has power over you if you give
- 12:27Speaker 2: it to them. And I have yet to see I
- 12:33Speaker 2: have yet to see this is me now, Vista Equity, Apple,
- 12:39Speaker 2: Delta Airlines, Coca Cola, Amazon, I have yet to see
- 12:46Speaker 2: them on a blog site talking about nobody. I've yet
- 12:50Speaker 2: to see. I've never seen a major company, major human
- 13:01Speaker 2: being on a blog talking about somebody. So if I'm
- 13:07Speaker 2: aiming to be major. Why would I not act like
- 13:11Speaker 2: the majors act? Yes, sir, So that's man, that's that's
- 13:18Speaker 2: the new thing about me.
- 13:19Speaker 12: Man.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I'm really really good, man, I'm really really good and
- 13:24Speaker 2: grateful to man because God. You know what God has
- 13:27Speaker 2: done for me. Really, He's given me a level of peace.
- 13:32Speaker 2: He's given me peace of mind.
- 13:34Speaker 4: All right.
- 13:35Speaker 13: See, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:37Speaker 13: we will hear from the nephew as he runs that
- 13:40Speaker 13: prank back right after this.
- 13:42Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: It is time now to run that prank back with
- 13:48Speaker 1: the nephew. Nephew, what you got for us?
- 13:50Speaker 4: This is the classic nephew pranks.
- 13:54Speaker 2: The yeah, I mean, while I was trying to be
- 13:58Speaker 2: a better Christian.
- 13:59Speaker 4: That's all.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Okay, that's what we're going.
- 14:05Speaker 2: That's not every day.
- 14:06Speaker 4: Now here we go. It ain't price the uncle. Let's
- 14:13Speaker 4: go ket though.

- 14:19Speaker 14: He's sitting on there.
- 14:20Speaker 8: He got nothing to do with me.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Man, That ain't my book.
- 14:22Speaker 8: That's his damn books. Put him on the phone here.
- 14:24Speaker 8: I'm gonna tell him. I don't know why he stayed
- 14:26Speaker 8: to stay. He ain't writing about you. He had told
- 14:30Speaker 8: on me.

- 14:36Speaker 8: with you, man, No.
- 14:37Speaker 14: No, nobody his book do got something to do with me?
- 14:39Speaker 14: Because everything that stayed. Don't learn if he was growing
- 14:42Speaker 14: up from the hood telling on everybody. And I'm tired
- 14:45Speaker 14: of this. He ought to go somewhere and sit down.
- 14:47Speaker 14: I know.
- 14:48Speaker 8: No, you gotta get right with your girl.
- 14:50Speaker 14: If he's stolen my girl, he ain't got no business
- 14:52Speaker 14: coming in my house in my car.
- 14:55Speaker 8: Telling every damn thing. So hello, Hello, who who is this?

- 15:22Speaker 14: my family. I gotta turn my radio heat because you
- 15:25Speaker 14: telling game. We grow up sticking together.
- 15:28Speaker 8: If I run in the middle game to make my ends.
- 15:30Speaker 14: Meet or whatever it is, that's my business.
- 15:32Speaker 8: You ain't got a running on me.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Hold up, hold old.
- 15:36Speaker 8: First of all, I don't know who you are.
- 15:38Speaker 14: I know you don't, but I know who you are,
- 15:40Speaker 14: and we listen to the show. Okay, her first thing
- 15:43Speaker 14: you gonna do, though, back up a little bit.
- 15:45Speaker 8: Dumb because you're talking to me ways and Steve, ain't
- 15:48Speaker 8: nobody scared of you because you got money on it
- 15:50Speaker 8: says I'm nothing to do with no money, and I'm
- 15:52Speaker 8: gonna be too many.
- 15:54Speaker 14: Listen, I put a minute and where they just enjoy
- 15:57Speaker 14: your life. You find the perfect why no, you you
- 16:00Speaker 14: found the perfect person, the perfect relationship. Okay, that's good.
- 16:04Speaker 8: Goddess, hold up, don't put God in this. Leave God
- 16:07Speaker 8: out of this because you ain't calling from the God.
- 16:09Speaker 8: It ain't gonna see people kill me with that part
- 16:11Speaker 8: right there, God bless you.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Don't throw God.
- 16:14Speaker 8: You don't want God bless me because you're talking too
- 16:16Speaker 8: crazy to me. That's for starters right there. But since
- 16:19Speaker 8: you talking crazy to me, let me turn you onto something.
- 16:22Speaker 8: You out that running game. That's your problem.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Run your game.
- 16:26Speaker 8: You can't get mad at me because I'm doing what
- 16:28Speaker 8: I do. Man, y'all kill me. You out there doing
- 16:32Speaker 8: what you want to do, like you all in this
- 16:34Speaker 8: right here. Then you coming to me because I'm trying
- 16:37Speaker 8: to empower somebody. I don't give a damn botch you man,
- 16:40Speaker 8: feel how you want to feel about me. But what
- 16:42Speaker 8: you ain't gonna do, though, is talk to me like
- 16:45Speaker 8: you Clay, because I ain't playing in Steven. Let's make
- 16:47Speaker 8: the player feel fair.
- 16:48Speaker 14: Okay. You got the airways, you got the microphone, you
- 16:52Speaker 14: got the ability to touch a lot of people. Okay,
- 16:54Speaker 14: and you're just telling you're.
- 16:55Speaker 8: A walking talking them. Hold on, hold up, this ain't
- 16:58Speaker 8: got nothing to do with the airways. You got nothing
- 17:00Speaker 8: to do with the media. That's just me and you talking.
- 17:04Speaker 8: I talk to you personally. Personally, me and you can
- 17:07Speaker 8: talk anybody. I don't like a man there called you
- 17:13Speaker 8: talking all this yet see his people like you. Man, dog,
- 17:16Speaker 8: You know why I wrote a book in the first place,
- 17:18Speaker 8: because you're always somewhere trying to act like you something
- 17:21Speaker 8: that you in. Now you've got the sauce on the phone.
- 17:24Speaker 8: Now you're trying to mention about money into me. This
- 17:26Speaker 8: just me and you, just two men.
- 17:28Speaker 14: Talking, not what you want. And if there's two men
- 17:30Speaker 14: men talking there from one man to another, watch you
- 17:33Speaker 14: just go somewhere and sit down and quit telling.
- 17:35Speaker 8: First of all, I ain't even got to sit down.
- 17:38Speaker 8: You already doing nothing as it is. See the soon
- 17:41Speaker 8: did somebody go out and do something? Try to do
- 17:43Speaker 8: something positive? You got some more shaking, big shimmy wabb
- 17:47Speaker 8: like you sitting up in here, man wanting to go
- 17:49Speaker 8: sit down somewhere. I ain't gonna sitting down, No, damn well,
- 17:53Speaker 8: you can mince me with that. I say what I
- 17:55Speaker 8: want to say. And who are you anyway? You ain't
- 17:58Speaker 8: even doing nothing?
- 18:00Speaker 14: Tell me I ain't doing nothing. I'll tell you what
- 18:01Speaker 14: I am doing. I'm trying to do something. And every
- 18:03Speaker 14: time I take a step, you take two steps.
- 18:06Speaker 8: I can't long hand hand hold. Man, when y'all kill me?
- 18:11Speaker 8: Why don't you quit trying and do something? You wanta
- 18:14Speaker 8: steal me? Man? With that on you trying to do something?
- 18:16Speaker 8: Why don't you do something? Thog You shinn't have been
- 18:19Speaker 8: here talking to me about what you're trying. You try

- 28:09Speaker 2: Usually soon as you walk into the right y I
- 28:14Speaker 2: used to work at the grocery store. I can tell
- 28:17Speaker 2: that most of the most produced sections as soon as
- 28:20Speaker 2: you walk through the door to the right yep, because
- 28:26Speaker 2: that's the stuff that's perishable they trying to get rid of.

- 29:17Speaker 2: You know, I just had a dinner, you know, I
- 29:19Speaker 2: just had a dinner with the family. Grandkids came through.
- 29:22Speaker 2: The grandkids sent me, Uh, well, they decorated my office.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I can show you that. The grandkids decorated my office
- 29:29Speaker 2: you see up on the wall.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, birthday.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and then they sent me the little balloons and stuff.
- 29:37Speaker 2: All the grandkids did that for me. Then they came
- 29:41Speaker 2: to dinner. All my grandkids is vegan.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Vegan grand keys. I ain't never heard of that.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Vegan parents, Yeah obviously.
- 29:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Yeah. My son Jason and his wife they vegan,
- 29:53Speaker 2: so they kids. Is vegan? That little elsewhere? He don't
- 29:55Speaker 2: give it that what does that mean? He likes me,
- 30:00Speaker 2: don't give a damn. He bites into it then ask
- 30:02Speaker 2: you is it vegan? And if you don't answer him,
- 30:04Speaker 2: he finish it off. Joe and him. He don't really
- 30:08Speaker 2: participate in the vegan life because Ezra just want to eat.
- 30:14Speaker 2: As soon as he sit down, he get the big
- 30:15Speaker 2: spoon and just hold it. And then every time something
- 30:19Speaker 2: come to the table, he said, Papa, is that vegan?
- 30:21Speaker 2: I said yeah, Cause to me, if it ain't meet,
- 30:24Speaker 2: it's vegan. But you can't eat like that because they're
- 30:27Speaker 2: not allowed to have dairy, you know, several things. Oh wow,
- 30:33Speaker 2: But to me, it's vegan if it don't have meat
- 30:35Speaker 2: in it. But I'll give him stuff with meeting. He
- 30:37Speaker 2: had crab legg last night, you know, enjoyed it.
- 30:42Speaker 1: When his parents find out.
- 30:46Speaker 2: That they find out all the time. He said, Jay said, Pop,
- 30:48Speaker 2: you gotta stop doing that. Man, I don't want the
- 30:51Speaker 2: kids eating me. Okay, you to sit his ass somewhere
- 30:55Speaker 2: next to me, because I got to play full of meat.
- 30:56Speaker 1: So and tried.
- 31:01Speaker 2: He looking like that, I think it tastes less. Yeah, well,
- 31:05Speaker 2: I think I think he needed to taste and me
- 31:07Speaker 2: make a decision on his own because I don't really
- 31:10Speaker 2: appealed to this vegan lifestyle, and neither does Ezra. So
- 31:14Speaker 2: I'm just telling y'all straight up. Me and Ezra is
- 31:16Speaker 2: over here eating things that's not veganish. And then the
- 31:21Speaker 2: cake last night, and then Amanda, my daughter in law,
- 31:24Speaker 2: apologized because they wanted to bring a cake from the outside,
- 31:28Speaker 2: but the vegan restaurant that they ordered their cakes from
- 31:31Speaker 2: had ran out of the ingredients, so the so the
- 31:34Speaker 2: restaurant had a cake for me. And then one of
- 31:36Speaker 2: my partner's wife came. She bought a cake. She make
- 31:38Speaker 2: a carry cake that's off the chain, And so we
- 31:41Speaker 2: were sitting there and Ezra couldn't eat no dessert and
- 31:44Speaker 2: he just looked too sad, and I just couldn't you
- 31:50Speaker 2: car cake carry carry is vegetable vegetables cass I had.
- 32:01Speaker 2: I didn't see the gluten, I didn't see the den
- 32:06Speaker 2: So I gave him some cake and he loves carried cake.
- 32:11Speaker 2: And the parents is mad at me about that. So
- 32:16Speaker 2: that was mine. And then my other grandson he gave
- 32:20Speaker 2: me for my birthday. He gave me three Pokeymon cards,
- 32:25Speaker 2: which I was ready to throw in the trash there.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I don't understand nothing by no Pokemon. And then the
- 32:33Speaker 2: man that was at the table was going a friend
- 32:35Speaker 2: of mine over here, he said, mister Harvey, you you
- 32:38Speaker 2: understand what's going on here. So they're a Pokemon card
- 32:41Speaker 2: that's worth three four million.
- 32:42Speaker 4: Dollars, you.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Pokey man cards that are collectibles that are worth three
- 32:51Speaker 2: four million dollars. So I picked them Pokemon cars up

- 36:10Speaker 10: Do you agree that America has never been a racist country?
- 36:14Speaker 16: First of all, and I think everyone agrees. We all

- 36:44Speaker 16: history of our nation. And when I think about it,
- 36:49Speaker 16: I think we all would agree that while it is
- 36:53Speaker 16: part of our past and we see vestiges of it today,
- 36:59Speaker 16: we should all so be committed collectively to not letting
- 37:02Speaker 16: it define the future of our country. But we cannot
- 37:06Speaker 16: get to a place of progress on the issue of
- 37:09Speaker 16: race by denying the existence of racism, by denying the history.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Of racism.
- 37:19Speaker 2: That was a good answer. Yeah, yeah, very good answer, IPHP.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. But that's you know, the mo is to
- 37:28Speaker 2: get rid of it, to act like it didn't exist,
- 37:31Speaker 2: and that if we keep talking about it, we keep
- 37:33Speaker 2: bringing it up. That's that they try to say that.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But if you don't know your history, history will repeat itself.
- 37:40Speaker 2: And that's what they really want to do, because that's
- 37:42Speaker 2: the whole idea behind Mega make America great Again, which
- 37:47Speaker 2: is a deplorable statement for us as African Americans, because
- 37:51Speaker 2: when was it great? What year you won't go back to?
- 37:55Speaker 2: And so you know, I think we all understand that.
- 37:59Speaker 2: But you know, that leads us to this election conversation
- 38:02Speaker 2: that we're going to have to have that I've dreaded having,
- 38:04Speaker 2: I didn't want to have. But twenty twenty four looks
- 38:07Speaker 2: like it's going to be a repeat of Biden and
- 38:11Speaker 2: Trump unless we can get him in prison before this
- 38:14Speaker 2: election come up. That's the only way. Other than that,
- 38:18Speaker 2: what you're going to have is a recap of the
- 38:22Speaker 2: election we had four years.
- 38:24Speaker 4: Ago, so he's going to be.
- 38:27Speaker 2: We got to make sure it's no doubt in my
- 38:31Speaker 2: mind he is a Republican. They offer no one else.
- 38:34Speaker 1: It's because they think he can win the presidency.
- 38:45Speaker 2: But but Desantus is even more racist.
- 38:55Speaker 13: And apparently too if she doesn't think this country has
- 38:59Speaker 13: ever been a racist country.
- 39:01Speaker 4: What's that part?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Yeah? Absolutely all right?
- 39:06Speaker 13: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:08Speaker 13: check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.
- 39:12Speaker 13: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. It
- 39:18Speaker 13: is time now to check Steve's voicemail. Eight seven seven
- 39:21Speaker 13: twenty nine, Steve, call and leave a message for Steve.
- 39:25Speaker 1: You might just hear your call in the air. Steve,
- 39:27Speaker 1: Are you ready?
- 39:28Speaker 2: Ready?
- 39:29Speaker 1: Here we go. This one's from a pastor in Louisiana.
- 39:33Speaker 12: Hey, Steve, I'm Reverend Leno Brown. I'm a little town
- 39:38Speaker 12: in Louisiana called Colonna, Louisiana, and I just wanted to
- 39:42Speaker 12: comment on some of the things that mister saying. And
- 39:46Speaker 12: I just want to tell you, man, you're an inspiration
- 39:50Speaker 12: chair with black America, every black person in America, all
- 39:54Speaker 12: over the world, Steve, mister Harvey, and a lot of times,
- 39:58Speaker 12: by me being a rever, I had things on my
- 40:01Speaker 12: mind that that was tearing me down. And you look
- 40:04Speaker 12: like that morning you said the right thing to keep
- 40:07Speaker 12: me going, you know. So I'm gonna just tell you, man,
- 40:11Speaker 12: I wish you all the blessings in the world.
- 40:14Speaker 8: Man, you in margin with your wife's.
- 40:16Speaker 17: Man, and then I hope God continues to bless your
- 40:19Speaker 17: marriage and all your kids and every day.
- 40:21Speaker 12: Man.
- 40:21Speaker 17: I just needed to say that to you, man, because
- 40:24Speaker 17: you're an answeriation man. And then you know, God bless
- 40:27Speaker 17: you your wife and your old family and your dads
- 40:29Speaker 17: on your on the Steve other morning, shore Man, thank you,
- 40:32Speaker 17: and God bless y'all.
- 40:34Speaker 4: You heard me. Wow.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah, See, that's what it's for. You know, Like I
- 40:40Speaker 2: always say, hate is louder than love, but love is stronger.
- 40:45Speaker 2: And when you get people like that that really care
- 40:47Speaker 2: about you, that's praying for you, that's pulling for you,
- 40:50Speaker 2: that's who's for And I appreciate that so much because
- 40:55Speaker 2: you know, look, man, I've also learned this. Junior asked
- 40:59Speaker 2: me a question, how do I feel different now I'm
- 41:01Speaker 2: sixty seven? You know one thing I've really really learned,
- 41:05Speaker 2: and I've had to learn it more than once till
- 41:07Speaker 2: I finally got it. So for those that love you,
- 41:11Speaker 2: no explanation necessary. For those that hate you, no explanation acceptable.
- 41:18Speaker 2: When you go online to respond, you're talking to people
- 41:23Speaker 2: who blog, and bloggers, by nature happen to have a
- 41:28Speaker 2: negative tone for the most part. That's why they own blogs.
- 41:33Speaker 2: If they wasn't that way, they'd be on the news
- 41:35Speaker 2: or they'd have a show somewhere. But they don't. Bloggers
- 41:40Speaker 2: carry a negative tone because that's where mess is at.
- 41:43Speaker 2: So when you respond to those bloggers, got to know
- 41:47Speaker 2: who your audience is now, and it's primarily haters. Every now,
- 41:52Speaker 2: I need to be some people on there trying to
- 41:53Speaker 2: check a person with some facts or something like that.
- 41:56Speaker 2: But it's the most unfact checked place I've ever seen.
- 42:02Speaker 2: I don't even worry about it.
- 42:04Speaker 8: Man.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I appreciate that call, pastor thank you?
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah go aha, all right. This one's from Chuck in Detroit.

- 42:53Speaker 4: And it should have been shame pop thing. I got

- 44:05Speaker 13: Coming up next, we'll hear from a nephew and the
- 44:07Speaker 13: prank phone call for today. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:12Speaker 13: hard morning show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:16Speaker 13: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for
- 44:19Speaker 13: today and the subject is her injury is not my fault.
- 44:24Speaker 1: We'll get into that, find out what that's all about.
- 44:26Speaker 13: Wait till you hear this and just a few but
- 44:29Speaker 13: right now the nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:33Speaker 1: What's on the menu for today, nephew?
- 44:36Speaker 4: Uh, we got an issue here. We got lights. I
- 44:39Speaker 4: think every time this lady turns her pile with her
- 44:43Speaker 4: lights on, it's turning stuff on in my h in
- 44:47Speaker 4: my apartment, it's turning on my stove and turning on
- 44:51Speaker 4: all kind of stuff. So could we get this situated.
- 44:54Speaker 4: I'm gonna need hooting ow to turn nothing home. So
- 44:57Speaker 4: the title lives are your lights on? All your lights?
- 45:02Speaker 4: All right? Dog? If you could.
- 45:05Speaker 5: Hello, I'm trying to reach who's calling? They call me
- 45:09Speaker 5: Pepper I live. I think I actually live in the
- 45:12Speaker 5: apartment behind you. I think my my apartments are up
- 45:16Speaker 5: against each other. You are you in unit?
- 45:20Speaker 15: Who want to know?
- 45:21Speaker 5: Actually I want to know. I'm calling you. I got
- 45:23Speaker 5: a little bit of a problem. I actually live in,
- 45:25Speaker 5: uh which is the apartment that that's our apartments are
- 45:30Speaker 5: back to back with each other. And I don't mean
- 45:34Speaker 5: no harm man, but you are right, yes, okay, here's
- 45:38Speaker 5: here's what's going on. It took me a long time
- 45:40Speaker 5: trying to figure this out. But when you come home
- 45:43Speaker 5: in the evening and you turn your life dome, my
- 45:47Speaker 5: my oven and stove come on, and I'm talking about
- 45:51Speaker 5: every out on my stove is on and burning high.
- 45:56Speaker 15: How do you know that's because when I turn my
- 45:58Speaker 15: life on, I just I mean, I done figured it out.
- 46:01Speaker 5: It just seemed like every time, I mean I hear
- 46:03Speaker 5: you when you close your door, and every evening I'm like,
- 46:07Speaker 5: why is my oven in my stove coming on? And
- 46:10Speaker 5: I'm talking about my whole kitchen just a hundred degrees
- 46:13Speaker 5: in there behind the stove being all like that.
- 46:15Speaker 15: Okay, did you call maintenance?
- 46:17Speaker 5: From my understanding, I'm on the list and they're not
- 46:19Speaker 5: gonna get to me for a couple of days now,
- 46:22Speaker 5: So I'm not I'm asking you, miss you don't mind
- 46:25Speaker 5: to not have your light's on until they come get
- 46:28Speaker 5: this fix.
- 46:29Speaker 15: Okay, So you asking me not to turn all my
- 46:32Speaker 15: lights for three or four days, and you know, to
- 46:35Speaker 15: sit in the dark.
- 46:36Speaker 5: Well, I'm just saying it's only gonna be for a
- 46:38Speaker 5: couple days. I know it's a little bit of an inconvenience,
- 46:40Speaker 5: but I mean, I can't be over here in the house.
- 46:42Speaker 5: You know they're about to burn down.
- 46:44Speaker 15: Are you listening to what you're saying? You're asking me
- 46:46Speaker 15: to sit in the dark. You know I got a baby.
- 46:48Speaker 15: I can't sit in the dark, Okay.
- 46:50Speaker 5: I mean, do y'all have any cameras or something y'all
- 46:51Speaker 5: can work with or something like that.
- 46:54Speaker 15: I have to give my baby food, milk. I mean, really,
- 46:57Speaker 15: you want me to sit in the dark and you
- 46:59Speaker 15: don't want need to turn anything on. You know, I
- 47:01Speaker 15: got to feed my baby.
- 47:03Speaker 5: I understand, and and and much respect to you and
- 47:06Speaker 5: your child, and much respect. But what I'm trying to
- 47:08Speaker 5: explain to you is, I mean we have to look
- 47:10Speaker 5: at the big hazard here. The bigger hazard is is
- 47:13Speaker 5: that I'm over here with fire on Okay.
- 47:16Speaker 15: What's about? Where are you getting this wee from? How
- 47:18Speaker 15: am I involved in your situation? I have nothing on.
- 47:22Speaker 5: Your life is patched in some kind of way to
- 47:25Speaker 5: my oven stove?
- 47:27Speaker 15: Okay, but I still I don't have anything to do
- 47:29Speaker 15: with that. You know, you need to call management whatever,
- 47:33Speaker 15: But I don't have anything with that. And I want
- 47:36Speaker 15: to know, how do you know when I get home
- 47:38Speaker 15: and turn on my lights? I mean, like, are you
- 47:40Speaker 15: looking at my window or something? Are you a peeping tong?
- 47:42Speaker 15: Do I need to call nine one one?
- 47:44Speaker 5: You don't need to call nobody on me. Now what
- 47:46Speaker 5: we need to get somebody over here, fix this of
- 47:48Speaker 5: it in the stove. That's what we got to get done.
- 47:50Speaker 5: But until then, right now, you can't turn them lights off.
- 47:54Speaker 15: Oh I'm turning on my life. I mean, I know
- 47:58Speaker 15: you ain't trying to regulate what I do in my house.
- 48:00Speaker 5: I'm fine listening. I'm gonna tell you just like this here,
- 48:02Speaker 5: I'm gonna need you to keep them lights off until
- 48:05Speaker 5: meeting this get over here in two days now. If
- 48:08Speaker 5: if I see this stove come on and all these
- 48:11Speaker 5: eyes on this on this stove come on, that I'm
- 48:14Speaker 5: finna come back over there, and we're gonna have direct
- 48:16Speaker 5: to fire the problem. But I cannot have this coming on.
- 48:19Speaker 15: So you're threatening me.
- 48:20Speaker 5: Now, I'm not no, I'm not no, I am not.
- 48:23Speaker 5: I'm telling you not to turn the lights off. That's
- 48:26Speaker 5: what I'm asking you to do.
- 48:27Speaker 15: Well, I can't sit in the dark and I'm gonna
- 48:29Speaker 15: turn on my lights. So you know you're gonna have
- 48:31Speaker 15: to deal with it.
- 48:32Speaker 5: No, I'm not finna.
- 48:33Speaker 4: Deal with it.
- 48:33Speaker 5: You're gonna have to actually turn the lights off. Now,
- 48:36Speaker 5: I understand. Do you have somewhere you can go stay?
- 48:39Speaker 5: To me?
- 48:39Speaker 15: Do you have somewhere you can go stay? I'm not
- 48:41Speaker 15: leaving my house. I don't have a problem you and
- 48:43Speaker 15: the one the problem.
- 48:45Speaker 5: I'm not goinna leave here and then you turn it on,
- 48:47Speaker 5: and then you come over.
- 48:48Speaker 15: Here and knock on my door. You think you see
- 48:50Speaker 15: fire in your stove. You gonna see some fire. I
- 48:52Speaker 15: can show you somepi.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Okay, listen, I'm trying with it, you as calmly as
- 48:56Speaker 5: I can.
- 48:56Speaker 14: Okay, trying to.
- 48:57Speaker 15: Work with me calmly.
- 48:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 48:58Speaker 15: The only thing you doing right now you're trying to
- 49:00Speaker 15: tell me what to do and run my household.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Okay, if you're not gonna work with me, then that's
- 49:05Speaker 5: what I'm gonna do. And I already found out where
- 49:07Speaker 5: the break is. I just go and just turn all
- 49:09Speaker 5: the power off so you don't have your power on
- 49:11Speaker 5: it off.
- 49:12Speaker 15: Wait a minute, what the number? You can't turn my
- 49:15Speaker 15: break off? Are you crazy?
- 49:16Speaker 5: I got to do what I got to do. I
- 49:18Speaker 5: can't start no fire right there?
- 49:19Speaker 15: You get my phone number anyway? I mean, how you
- 49:22Speaker 15: know my name? My number? Artist? You know what I'm
- 49:25Speaker 15: about to come home and he gonna put the foot
- 49:27Speaker 15: up your I don't care if he put your in
- 49:29Speaker 15: the up and we set you up on fire. What
- 49:32Speaker 15: do you talking about? You gonna damn turn the break off?
- 49:36Speaker 5: Let me off. I'm trying to kill me and prevent
- 49:38Speaker 5: a file for the whole complex. And you up in
- 49:40Speaker 5: there trying to comment, Uh, this is like arsome for
- 49:43Speaker 5: you to turn that on.
- 49:44Speaker 15: I don't give you want. You already got a problem,
- 49:47Speaker 15: so I'm just gonna add fuel to the fire. You
- 49:49Speaker 15: call me and again I want to know how you
- 49:51Speaker 15: got my number?
- 49:52Speaker 5: I said, Look, I'm not from the city, and go
- 49:54Speaker 5: on in this little small talk? Is is that we
- 49:57Speaker 5: got a problem with your twitch when you turn it on.

- 54:04Speaker 4: We got it for you here. It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:07Speaker 13: Thank you, nephew. Subject her subject her injury is not
- 54:11Speaker 13: my fault. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am dating a cheater
- 54:15Speaker 13: and he just asked me to marry him, and I
- 54:17Speaker 13: was thinking of saying yes, but then one of his
- 54:19Speaker 13: side chicks pressed charges against me.
- 54:24Speaker 2: I am what that lie right there?
- 54:27Speaker 1: That's the opening, Okay.
- 54:29Speaker 13: In November I found my man on the side of
- 54:32Speaker 13: a building in his car, naked from the waist down,
- 54:36Speaker 13: and a woman was running across the parking lot away
- 54:39Speaker 13: from his.
- 54:39Speaker 1: Car because she saw me pulling up.
- 54:42Speaker 13: I fired a warning shot with an air gun that
- 54:45Speaker 13: I keep, just to scare a criminal away. When the
- 54:48Speaker 13: gun went off, she got scared and fell like she
- 54:51Speaker 13: had been shot. I thought it was funny, and so
- 54:53Speaker 13: did my boyfriend. I took my boyfriend's pants and his
- 54:56Speaker 13: car keys, and he called the police on me. Witnesses
- 54:59Speaker 13: said I fired a gun, so after examining my air gun,
- 55:03Speaker 13: the policeman issued a fine and I went and paid
- 55:06Speaker 13: it the next day. I wasn't worried about the side
- 55:09Speaker 13: chick because my man was on his best behavior and
- 55:12Speaker 13: stuck to me like glue. He spoiled me for Christmas,
- 55:15Speaker 13: and I got three rings to choose from. When he
- 55:18Speaker 13: asked me to marry him, I was still trying to
- 55:20Speaker 13: play hard to get and I hadn't said yes yet
- 55:23Speaker 13: to his proposal. I planned to marry him, but now
- 55:26Speaker 13: I have to deal with being sued by the side
- 55:28Speaker 13: chick that fell in the parking lot. She pulled a muscle,
- 55:32Speaker 13: sprained her ankle, and had a gash on her.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Leg and needed stitches. She didn't have.
- 55:37Speaker 13: Insurance, so she's suing me for two one hundred dollars
- 55:42Speaker 13: twenty one hundred dollars for her trip to the er
- 55:45Speaker 13: that night. I am not responsible for her injuries. I
- 55:49Speaker 13: think that my boyfriend is responsible and she should sue
- 55:52Speaker 13: him instead. This has created a major conflict in our relationship.
- 55:57Speaker 13: He wants me to pay it so we can get
- 55:59Speaker 13: on with our lives. He won't even give me half
- 56:02Speaker 13: of the money. If it wasn't for him cheating, she
- 56:04Speaker 13: never would have fallen in that parking lot. Should my
- 56:07Speaker 13: boyfriend pay up?
- 56:08Speaker 1: Or is this all my fault? Okay?
- 56:11Speaker 13: The simple answer is yes, he should pay his side
- 56:15Speaker 13: chick his responsibility.
- 56:17Speaker 1: All right, that's the quick answer.
- 56:19Speaker 13: But the real problem here is why are you even
- 56:21Speaker 13: considering marrying this man?
- 56:24Speaker 4: Why?
- 56:25Speaker 1: Why are you guys together? What is going on here?
- 56:28Speaker 1: I don't get it.
- 56:29Speaker 13: A man you yourself described in the first paragraph of
- 56:33Speaker 13: this letter as a cheater. You caught him, I mean
- 56:36Speaker 13: literally with his pants down in the parking lot. You
- 56:41Speaker 13: saw the side chick running away and you shot at her.
- 56:45Speaker 19: What in the hot ghetto mess is going on here?
- 56:49Speaker 19: What are you guys doing?
- 56:51Speaker 13: This relationship is a disaster waiting to happen, and stuff
- 56:56Speaker 13: has already happened that should make you turn away. And
- 57:00Speaker 13: please don't waste your time or your money getting married
- 57:02Speaker 13: to this man, because it's only going to end in divorce.
- 57:06Speaker 1: All right, it's a hard no for me, Steve.
- 57:10Speaker 2: This is an episode of forty eight Hours. This is
- 57:15Speaker 2: an episode of Dateline. This is an episode of American Greed.
- 57:22Speaker 2: This is an episode of this. This is not even
- 57:26Speaker 2: a strawberry letter. I'm never we have. I don't remember
- 57:32Speaker 2: a letter with this level of criminal activity in it.
- 57:39Speaker 2: I just don't listen, y'all as I'm reading a letter.
- 57:43Speaker 2: This is what I'm here. So let's go. I'm dating
- 57:46Speaker 2: a cheatah and he's asked me to marry him, and
- 57:49Speaker 2: I'm thinking about saying, yeah, let's just stop right here.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, let's just pump the brakes right here. Let
- 57:56Speaker 2: me read this to you again. I'm dating a CHEATAH
- 57:59Speaker 2: and he has to marry him, and I'm thinking about
- 58:01Speaker 2: saying yes. Right after this, we off to the races.
- 58:06Speaker 2: This letter right here is one I be damn statement
- 58:10Speaker 2: after the next, because I just don't even understand. I'm
- 58:15Speaker 2: dating the cheetah. He has me to marry I'm thinking
- 58:17Speaker 2: about saying yes, and we're off to the races. Next line,
- 58:22Speaker 2: but then one of his side chicks press charges against me.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Let's stop right here. What that in this letter? There's
- 58:33Speaker 2: nowhere to breathe in this letter. This letter is packed
- 58:38Speaker 2: with incredible ass information. I was thinking about saying yes,
- 58:42Speaker 2: but then one one of his side chicks press charges
- 58:48Speaker 2: against me. Then then she tried to calm it down.
- 58:53Speaker 2: In November, I found my man on the side of
- 58:57Speaker 2: a building in his car. This is the most rest
- 59:00Speaker 2: you getting this letter with this line right here, I
- 59:03Speaker 2: found my man on the side of the building in
- 59:05Speaker 2: his car. Most people in their lifetime have been on
- 59:09Speaker 2: the side of a building in a car, so that's
- 59:12Speaker 2: nothing along. But we've all been in our car on
- 59:14Speaker 2: the side of a building. That's the only rest moment
- 59:17Speaker 2: in this letter. He would go back to crazy naked
- 59:21Speaker 2: from the waist down, and a woman was running across
- 59:27Speaker 2: the parking lot away from his car because she saw
- 59:32Speaker 2: me pull it up. What is going on in this
- 59:38Speaker 2: damn letter? In it? Don't stop there? Next line, I
- 59:43Speaker 2: fired a warning shot with an air gun that I
- 59:49Speaker 2: keep to scare a criminal away. What you shot at
- 59:56Speaker 2: this woman? You and you call it a one that's
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: you know when you go to court, that's actually called attempted.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: There aren't no cop.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I find a warning shot with an air gun that
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I keep the scare criminal way hang on. Oh, when
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I come back, I can't. We're gonna get back into
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: it because this is the most what the hell going
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: on letter I've even read?
- 1:00:21Speaker 13: Truly is all right, we'll have part two of your
- 1:00:24Speaker 13: response coming up Steve at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:27Speaker 13: hour today Strawberry letter, subject her injury is not my fault.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:00:37Speaker 13: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: The subject is her injury is not my fault.
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: Listen to me. Like I said, this is the most
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: what the hell going on? Letter I've ever read. I
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: like to crew to join it with me on this.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Every time I say Dean, I want y'all to say
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: what the hell? Okay, I'm gonna say Dan, and y'all
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: just say what the hell so y'all can understand how
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: I read this letter? Ready, Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a cheetah.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: He asked me to marry him, and I was thinking
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: about saying yes, Dean, what the what the hell? In November?
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: But then one of his side chicks pressed charges against me.
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: Dean?
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: What he in November?
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I found my man on the side of a building
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: in his car, naked from the waist down, and a
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: woman was running across the parket lot away from his
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: car because she saw me pulling up.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Dean, what the hell? That was my favorite line?
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: I fired a warning shot with an airgun that I
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: keep just in case to scare a criminal away.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Dean, What the what the he?
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: When the gun went off, she got scared and fell, Dean.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: I know why she fause she thought she was shot.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: I know exactly why she fell like she had been shot.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: I thought it was funny, and so did my boyfriend.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Dean, what the hell?
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: What do you mean?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: You thought it was funny, and so did your boyfriend.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Well after you y'all thought that was funny, I took
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: my boyfriend's pants and he and his car keys. He
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: called the police on me, Dean, what the hell is
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: happening in him?
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: Wait?
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Bit man, a minute ago, you fired a shot. She failed.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: You thought it was funny, and the boyfriend thought it
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: was funny. But Ada, you take his pants in the
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: cor keys. He your boyfriend called the police on you. Okay,
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: I don't need y'all's help no more. I think y'all
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: understand what this letter is about. Let me take it
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: from here. Witnesses, I'll be damn. Witnesses said I fired
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: a gun, So after examining my air gun, the policeman
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: issue to find and I went and paid it the
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: next day. Okay, do you understand what's happening here? Witnesses said,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: I fired a gun. You told us you fired a Lady,
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: you wrote in this letter that you fired a gun.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: You can quit talking to us about what the hell?
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: The witnesses said you confessed. Confessions carry a lot of
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: weight in court. Baby, you ain't really need no question.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: You really don't need too many witnesses once you say
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: I did it, Okay, I went and paid it the
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: next day. I wasn't worried about the side chick because
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: my man was on his best behavior and stuck to
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: me like glue. What you're not worried about this side
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: chick because your man was on his best behavior and
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: stuck to my side like glue?
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: What good?
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: He spoiled me for Christmas? And I got three wings
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: to choose from when he asked me to marry him. Lady,
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: you got three what rings choose from? Ain't no man
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: got money for three engagement rings unless ain't now one
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: of them real? You got three Zarconians. When he asked
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: me to marry him, I was still trying to play
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: hard to get and I hadn't said yes yet to
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: his proposal. I'm planning to marry him, but now I
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: got to deal with being sued by the side chick
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: that fell in the parket lot. You're talking about the
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: lady you shot at that one right there that failed
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: in the parking lot. She pulled a muscle, sprained her ankle,
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: and had a gash on her leg and kneeded stitches.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Ain't this the same girl you and your boyfriend was
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: laughing at before you took his car keys and pants
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: and then he called the police. This was this was
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: the same chick y'all was laughing at. Now she can
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: pull the muscle, sprain the ankle, and got some stitches.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: She didn't have insurance. Oh, I know that. I know that, y'all.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Y'all don't sound like insurance type people. She didn't have insurance,
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: which one of her insurances what she called. You can't
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: call your life insurance people about this, can't call your
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: homeowners insurance people about this, And you can't call your
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: car insurance people about this? What insurance was she supposed
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: to have? Unless she had Obamacare, which has a medical device.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: But then I can promise you that the deductible gonna
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: swallow up that two grand, So she might well take
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: her ass on down there and pay this.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: Hell.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: But anyway, she saw for twenty one hundred for her
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: trip to the ear at night. I'm not responsible for
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: her injury.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: Yeah you did?
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: You shot at her caused her to fault? Anyway, I
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: think my boyfriend is responsible and she should shoes sue
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: him instead. Okay, this has created a major conflict in
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: our relationship. He wants me to pay it so we
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: can get on with our lives. If you don't pay
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: my side check this money so we can get on
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: with our lives. He won't even give me half the money.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: If it wasn't for him, she wouldn't have fallen in
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: that parking lot if you had to shot at her.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Should my boyfriend pay up? Or is this all my fault?
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Whow are y'all together?
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Yes?
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:06:43Speaker 13: Poster commentary Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: Instagram and.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: The best letter I've had this year.
- 1:06:49Speaker 19: Yeah, and check out the Struwberry Letter podcast on the
- 1:06:52Speaker 19: free iHeartRadio app for he never sounded so good.
- 1:06:55Speaker 13: You can download it today. Coming up at forty six
- 1:06:57Speaker 13: minutes after the hour. It is Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:07:01Speaker 13: Right after this, you're listening morning show. All right, ladies
- 1:07:06Speaker 13: and gentlemen, he is here Junior with Sports Talk.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:07:10Speaker 11: All right, Well, let's go ahead. Just let everybody know
- 1:07:12Speaker 11: that Mike McCarthy will still be the head coach of
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: the Dallas Cowboys this season. He lost, yeah to the
- 1:07:18Speaker 11: package man, He's still gonna be the head coach. Jerry
- 1:07:21Speaker 11: Jones said he gonna ride it out with him. He
- 1:07:22Speaker 11: said he believes in his leadership. But I'd say somebody
- 1:07:25Speaker 11: need to go though. Is the defensive coordinator Dan Quinn?
- 1:07:29Speaker 11: Do he need to go? Since the head coach ain't
- 1:07:31Speaker 11: going because he gave up four to eight points, they
- 1:07:32Speaker 11: probably still be in the playoffs if it wasn't for him.
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: It ain't da. I don't say that.
- 1:07:36Speaker 11: I don't think they're gonna give me a dack that
- 1:07:38Speaker 11: that can't go nowhere. No, I ain't gonna give ri
- 1:07:41Speaker 11: to DA. You're not gonna do that. Also, Uugh, you
- 1:07:44Speaker 11: know listen, know Bill Bilichick has has stepped down as
- 1:07:47Speaker 11: if Patriots head coach. They hired Gerard Mayo, former linebacker
- 1:07:51Speaker 11: for New England Patriots, and you know he's gonna be
- 1:07:54Speaker 11: a new head coach. So Bill Bilichick's still out here
- 1:07:55Speaker 11: looking for a job. Thought was gonna get the Dallas job.
- 1:07:58Speaker 11: He's not gonnaet it cause they're gonna up Mike McCarthy.
- 1:08:00Speaker 11: So then we all have that.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: Now, let's just get to it.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: This week, Texans and Ravens.
- 1:08:05Speaker 11: We have Texas Ravens former Cleveland Brown quarterback tamp Bay Buccaneers.
- 1:08:10Speaker 11: Bacon Mayfield is playing the line. He's still in there, man, Baker, Yeah,
- 1:08:17Speaker 11: Baker player.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Well n what the question is you asking me?
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Well, man, is you is you going for the bumps?
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: Because he used to play for y'all?
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Are you going for them? Versus Detroit? Who are they playing?
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: Detroit?
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Who are they playing?
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: They playing Detroit? Detroit?
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: The Detroit all day long? Though I'm Detroit lines all
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: the way down. Okay, I've been. I've been pulling for
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Detroit the whole damn year. I ain't finna change about
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield? What about the Texans and the Ravens. I'd
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: love to pull for your taxi.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: You're not gonna pull us.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: I wish you would.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: This little joyous ass moment you' all having this finna
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: come to a stop right here. We're gonna see this
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: right here.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: I don't know this.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: We We're gonna well one thing bout it. If the
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: Texas do win. You talk about somebody who don't give
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: a damn, you are talking to him right now. No,
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I don't have no dog in this fight no more. Man.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: The Eagles is out. That was my team, Detroit steal

- 1:09:52Speaker 2: I'm a Lamar Jackson fan. I appreciate you put him.

- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Hey, man, just take me out of sports.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Beat joy I want to do it. Coming up at
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the top of.
- 1:10:14Speaker 13: The hour, Steve Aman on social media needs your advice.
- 1:10:18Speaker 13: He's saying, can you steal a vacation? We'll talk about
- 1:10:21Speaker 13: it right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:10:28Speaker 13: this is from Brittany on Steve Harvey FM. Brittany says,
- 1:10:32Speaker 13: when my husband and I married twelve years ago, we
- 1:10:35Speaker 13: were both ambitious and hard working. We work out together,
- 1:10:38Speaker 13: and we're both excelling in our careers. He was let
- 1:10:41Speaker 13: go from his job in twenty twenty, and it was
- 1:10:43Speaker 13: a year before he found a new one. His current
- 1:10:46Speaker 13: job is practically no room for advancement and he earns
- 1:10:49Speaker 13: a fraction of what he did before. Meanwhile, I've been
- 1:10:52Speaker 13: steadily moving up at my company. To top this off,
- 1:10:55Speaker 13: my husband has lost motivation to do anything outside of work.
- 1:11:00Speaker 13: He used to have hobbies and like to work out,
- 1:11:02Speaker 13: but now he just scrolls the internet in a spare
- 1:11:04Speaker 13: time and doesn't do much else. I've tried discussing my
- 1:11:07Speaker 13: feelings with him, but it hasn't led to any change.
- 1:11:10Speaker 13: I don't want to nag, but I'm at my wits end.
- 1:11:14Speaker 13: How can I either come to terms with this situation
- 1:11:16Speaker 13: or motivate my husband to make some positive changes.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: His communication is the key to all relationships. It's the
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: only thing that's going to keep it alive. Because what
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: you have to do is because what happens is people change.
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: You two are not the same people that got married.
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: And so if you don't recognize the changes what you
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: now seeing, but you're not discussing the changes and now
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: how to adapt to the changes you have what you
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: now have as all proper because now he's not communicating
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: and you want something from him that he's not giving you,
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: and you don't know how to get it from me.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: But he may have something he wants from you that
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: he's not getting it. He don't know how to get
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: it from you because he ain't talking to you. Communication
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: is key. Is the only thing you can do is
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: sit down and have this conversation. That is the only way.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: That is the only way. There ain't no trick to this.
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: To say, no secret, sauce, y'all got to talk.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: Two people who are real quiet, got a whole lot
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: to say.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: Trust me, I'm sorry.
- 1:12:21Speaker 4: I shouldn't have said I that was Thomas, my house,
- 1:12:24Speaker 4: my fan.
- 1:12:25Speaker 13: Yeah, okay, all right, yeah, okay, we'll have.
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: For another one.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Steve, this is from.
- 1:12:39Speaker 13: This is from kJ and Steve Harvey FM. kJ says,
- 1:12:42Speaker 13: over the weekend, my wife and I had some friends
- 1:12:44Speaker 13: over and I overheard the ladies talking about vacation wishes.
- 1:12:49Speaker 13: My wife's friend started talking about wanting to go to Dubai,
- 1:12:52Speaker 13: and my wife was like, yes, me too, So I
- 1:12:55Speaker 13: took the queue and booked us for a trip to
- 1:12:57Speaker 13: Dubai in the spring. My wife was so happy until
- 1:13:02Speaker 13: she told her friend. Now they're not speaking to each
- 1:13:05Speaker 13: other because my wife has been accused of stealing the vacation.
- 1:13:10Speaker 13: Last I checked, Dubai was still there. Is there any
- 1:13:13Speaker 13: way to get them to squash their beef and get
- 1:13:15Speaker 13: these two talking again?
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: What?
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: What?
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: What have I steal a vacation? Dubai is open to
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: the public. I can pretty much tell you which city's
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: image flies out of. I know you can get them
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: out of New York. I know you can get it
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: out of DC. You can also fly out of Chicago
- 1:13:40Speaker 2: directly to Dubai, and Houston has a flight, and so
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: this Los Angeles. Miami also has a flight on IMORHAGE,
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: so you can go Miami. You cannot fly out of Atlanta, Charlotte, Nope, nope, nope,
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: you can go to New York. I think image flies
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: to see if not I know Abu Dhabi, does I
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: mean at the hort and uh, Chicago, l A and Houston.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: Now your friend hating because you done beat her to
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: the punch. But your husband did that. You ain't stole
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: no trip? How are you still a trip?
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Is the husband that's writing he wants to help me?
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I'm happy?
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: Yeah, then what you ought to do is you ought
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: to just call her girlfriend and say, hey, listen, I
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: want you to know. It wasn't really Joanne's fault. It
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: was my fault. I heard y'all talking about it, and
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: I was surprised her with the trip, So it's really
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: on me. She didn't even know. She's happy. But why
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: don't you and your broke ass husband join.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Us to say that though? To her friend?
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: What a hater?
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Yeah? One more time? Why don't you what, Steve?
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: Why don't you and your broke ass husband?
- 1:14:57Speaker 10: I mean, oh.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: All right, thank you. We got more of the Steve.
- 1:15:06Speaker 13: Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes after right
- 1:15:09Speaker 13: after this, you're listening.
- 1:15:11Speaker 9: To Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Okay, here we go again with this question?
- 1:15:19Speaker 13: What is wrong with the friendly skies and aircraft flying?
- 1:15:24Speaker 9: From?
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Here?
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: We go again?
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:15:26Speaker 13: An aircraft flying from Tokyo to Seattle, Washington, reportedly had
- 1:15:31Speaker 13: to fly back to Japan on Tuesday after an intoxicated
- 1:15:35Speaker 13: passenger bit a crew member. A heavily drunk fifty five
- 1:15:39Speaker 13: year old male passenger a bit a crew member's arm.
- 1:15:42Speaker 13: The female crew members sustained minor injuries from the attack,
- 1:15:45Speaker 13: and after landing back in Tokyo, the passenger said he
- 1:15:49Speaker 13: doesn't recall his actions and has turned and was turned
- 1:15:53Speaker 13: over to the local authorities. Sooper, what do you mean
- 1:15:58Speaker 13: you don't recall biting me? So what would you guys
- 1:16:03Speaker 13: have have done if you were on this flight and
- 1:16:06Speaker 13: some drunk guy bit you.
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: I'm beating it there, That's what I'm beating.
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: A long flight for him. It's hard to get on
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: the plane. You ain't bite me.
- 1:16:19Speaker 4: I got the drop that oygen your mask down. They're
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: gonna need your math. You're gonna need to breathe.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: How drunk was he?
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: Damn drunk?
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: People tell rot you and you don't remember it.
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: You're just not biting me.
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: Pardon if you?
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I mean I'm saying I can't get bit. You can
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: bite me, but you won't be using the whose teeth
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: umping to you? Everything on that plane.
- 1:16:53Speaker 13: At thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll play around it.

- 1:21:17Speaker 13: quality clothing and underwear. I want him to buy nicer things,
- 1:21:22Speaker 13: but he says everything he likes costs too much. How
- 1:21:25Speaker 13: can he be fashionable and fly without breaking the bank?
- 1:21:30Speaker 13: I think this is a question for Blue Cheese Blue too.
- 1:21:33Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: You know you can be fashionall than fly without breaking
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: the bank. But you're gonna have, you're gonna shop different now.
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: I ain't been TJ Max in a long time. You know,
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: I ain't been to Marshalls in a long time. I
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: ain't been to the Burlington coat factory.
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: I ain't been down to K and G. But these
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: are places you can go and find some quality stuff
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: without and get it at a discount. That's what you
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: got to do. The name of the game is fake
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: it till you make it. Come on, Oh, I was
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: all well experted that my first comedy outfit, the whole
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: outfit shoes included with twenty two dollars Value City. I'll
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: never forget that outfit. Twenty two dollars the whole thing,
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: corduroy pants, a shirt or undershirt, and some shoes twenty
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: two dollars the whole thing. I got shoes at eight dollars.
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: They looked like little bowling shoes. I got them for
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: eight dollars. Caught the pants and the two shirts on
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Sailing Boy, I was out there clean his hair. Fake
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: it till you make it. I had another Saturday night
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: shirt that I got from TJ Max. It was red,
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: short sleeve, had a shimo on it that had flecks
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: in it, a little shiny flex. That was my Saturday
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: night outfit.
- 1:22:51Speaker 13: Wow.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: Then I got my little paper going and I used
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: to buy. I bought a sweatshirt from the Merry Go Round,
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: me a pair im pleted pants from Merry Go Round,
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: had a belt with the long belt and you tied
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: in the front, come on that little nod in and
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: had a strap hanging down. But you couldn't tell me
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: nothing I had all was cheap.
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: Is that the same story.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: Where you bought.
- 1:23:19Speaker 13: Huh, sorry for interrupting, but is that the same store
- 1:23:23Speaker 13: where you bought those shoes and put them in lay
- 1:23:24Speaker 13: away and they were too little by the time.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: You got them out.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: I was in high school when I did that. What
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: the only thing I put in lay away when I
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: was out on the road was there was a girl
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: named Gigi, beautiful chocolate sister down at Birmingham, Alabama. GG
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: had a store and I laid away a paylaid leather
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: suit eight hundred dollars. Had it in there for damn
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: near two years. I ain't gonna lie to hear you
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: man on that out fit for me. I finally got
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: it out. That's what I did death jail in ohay,
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: that leather suit I had on on death jail. I
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: came from Birmingham, Alabama. Man had the thing and lay
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: away so long. My first chain I ever wore had
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: a pineapple on it. One hundred and sixty eight dollars.
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: Had that on layaway from a jewelry store in Atlanta
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: up there by the Punchline Comedy Club bought me a chain.
- 1:24:25Speaker 4: Had that on moving around one hundred and sixty eight dollars.
- 1:24:28Speaker 4: So you had to keep.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: How much were you holding on it?
- 1:24:34Speaker 4: Intil a long time?
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: But I was going to drive back through that. I
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: love Vernon hair man, I mean Atlanta. I used to
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: come to Atlanta all the time.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Yeah, how much do you put on your did you
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: put on your lay away? At one time?
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: Twenty dollars held them shoes? Everybody lay away back. Now
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: twenty dollars held them shoes and shoes was hold with
- 1:24:58Speaker 2: lettle Wind. No way in hell I could give you
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: seventy two at one time, he said, He sent two
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: pays US dollars seventy two at one time. Now, law
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: wee now yet, junior, So to answer the question is
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: fake it till you make hunh said, I'm looking at
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: you that dog.
- 1:25:23Speaker 4: Dog, Man, I be dog.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: That's why I I'll be sometime. I'd be going, hold up, man,
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: you're tripping you all right? Any more questions, Shelby anything?
- 1:25:34Speaker 13: Well, you know, it was your birthday, and you know what, Steve,
- 1:25:39Speaker 13: I just had to I have to tell you this
- 1:25:41Speaker 13: because I've been with you a long time.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: It's not a question as much as a comment. I
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: just wanted to tell you that people don't know.
- 1:25:50Speaker 13: You know that maybe I have started listening to the
- 1:25:53Speaker 13: show later, that you kind of started all of this,
- 1:25:57Speaker 13: like comedians and radio and multiple income streams and all
- 1:26:02Speaker 13: of that stuff. People weren't doing it like they're doing
- 1:26:05Speaker 13: it now. Before you started this, you had your job
- 1:26:09Speaker 13: at showtime at the Apollo, You had your radio gig,
- 1:26:12Speaker 13: you had your TV show, and you were out doing comedy,
- 1:26:16Speaker 13: a stand up comedy. You started this, you know what
- 1:26:19Speaker 13: I'm saying. Comedians in LA When we started the radio
- 1:26:22Speaker 13: show in La together, there were no other comedians doing
- 1:26:25Speaker 13: radio until.
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: After you started, you know. So I just wanted to
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: give you your props on that. A lot of people
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: don't know that.
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: And they they got a Tiro sheltered in Chicago, they
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: got Tony on these radio shows they put. They went
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: and got Sitting Bad. They went and got George Lopez,
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: they went and got George Wallace. They tried everything. Man,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: after I showed them that I could do it. But
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: they thought they could just plug in a comedian. It's
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: not how it works. You have to care about the craft.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: I love radio. That's what's made us successful. Hell I mean, hey, y'all,
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: y'all have a great day. Talk to God. He'd love
- 1:27:05Speaker 2: to hear from you. God will and we'll see y'all
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: the moss take.
