- 1:43Speaker 1: to do. You gotta turn. You won't got to turn out? Come?
- 2:30Speaker 1: Come on? Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody
- 2:37Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice? Come on dig me now
- 2:40Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'll do. Then. God is good. Hey today, I just
- 2:47Speaker 1: want to get right to it because this has really
- 2:49Speaker 1: been oppressing me. I woke up and this was on
- 2:53Speaker 1: my mind, and I wanted to share it with you
- 2:56Speaker 1: because I know this for a fact. See I I've
- 3:00Speaker 1: lived this for a fact. Uh. And you know the
- 3:05Speaker 1: majority of things I talked about in the morning before
- 3:09Speaker 1: we get started with the regular show. It's something that
- 3:13Speaker 1: I've experienced. I can only tell you what I know.
- 3:16Speaker 1: And so I've really really understood why God has had
- 3:20Speaker 1: my life go the way that is gone, Because if
- 3:24Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests in my life, I
- 3:27Speaker 1: didn't have all these tests that I passed, all these
- 3:31Speaker 1: tests that I failed. If I didn't have all of
- 3:35Speaker 1: those the good and the bad, what could I share
- 3:40Speaker 1: with you in the morning? What could I tell you
- 3:45Speaker 1: about hanging What could I tell you about failing and
- 3:49Speaker 1: then winning? What could I tell you about hanging in
- 3:53Speaker 1: now when all hope was gone? How could I share
- 3:56Speaker 1: that with you unless I've had those moments myself. And
- 4:01Speaker 1: so I've really come to the realization that I am,
- 4:05Speaker 1: just like all of you, the somem total of my past,
- 4:09Speaker 1: just as you are the sum total of your past.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It is these bumps and bruises, the ups and downs,
- 4:15Speaker 1: the peaks and valleys that create us who we are today.
- 4:20Speaker 1: All you got to do is be grateful for the
- 4:22Speaker 1: fact that you survived at all, and somehow you still
- 4:25Speaker 1: sitting here, you still stand it. So with that in mind,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I want to share something with you. I don't care
- 4:34Speaker 1: what happens to you. I don't care what you're going through.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare give up? Under no circumstances. I
- 4:47Speaker 1: don't care who told you know. I don't care who
- 4:51Speaker 1: told you you never make it. I don't care who
- 4:55Speaker 1: who has shown you no faith. I don't care who
- 4:58Speaker 1: ain't believed in you. I don't care what you heard
- 5:02Speaker 1: about him saying behind your back. Don't you dare dare
- 5:07Speaker 1: ever give up? It is the biggest trick that the
- 5:13Speaker 1: enemy has is making us think we ain't gonna make it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: The biggest trick that enemy has is filling our minds
- 5:25Speaker 1: with hopelessness, to water down the illusion that there as
- 5:31Speaker 1: a possibility that you might still have a chance to
- 5:36Speaker 1: get over. The biggest trick he uses is when you
- 5:40Speaker 1: make a mistake and you fall. He gets you to
- 5:43Speaker 1: start to thinking it's final, that there is no resurrection,
- 5:48Speaker 1: there is no redemption, there is no recovery. He just
- 5:52Speaker 1: makes you think it's final. He is the master deceiver.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare ever give up? I don't care
- 6:01Speaker 1: what happens to you. I don't care what besets you,
- 6:05Speaker 1: befalls you, trips you up, What circumstantial situations may arise.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare ever give up? Because listen to me,
- 6:17Speaker 1: these are tests that you are going through. And these tests,
- 6:22Speaker 1: whether you pass the test or it appears that you've
- 6:26Speaker 1: failed the test, the test accomplishes the mission if you're
- 6:30Speaker 1: smart about it. If you pass the test. Let's say
- 6:36Speaker 1: you're going through a situation and you get over and
- 6:39Speaker 1: it goes the way you wanted to do, then what
- 6:41Speaker 1: you've learned is if you hang in there, there's a
- 6:47Speaker 1: light at the end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished.
- 6:52Speaker 1: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 6:55Speaker 1: way you want it, and it goes the opposite, and
- 6:59Speaker 1: it turns out to a negative result, and and response
- 7:02Speaker 1: you were looking for is a no. That's not final.
- 7:08Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it's over. That doesn't mean it's time
- 7:12Speaker 1: to turn back. It simply means that now you have
- 7:17Speaker 1: learned a valuable experience, you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You now know what not to do. You are now
- 7:28Speaker 1: because you know what not to do, another step closer
- 7:33Speaker 1: to getting it right. Listen to me, it has to
- 7:38Speaker 1: happen this way. You have to have the rain in
- 7:42Speaker 1: your life. To get the flowers in your life, you
- 7:46Speaker 1: got to have the darkness in your life to appreciate
- 7:50Speaker 1: the sunshine in your life. You got to have woes
- 7:55Speaker 1: and worries to appreciate the joys. It is merely a test.
- 8:02Speaker 1: So when you get through failing, and you get through stumbling,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and you get through messing it up, all that's getting
- 8:12Speaker 1: you one step closer to getting it right. On my
- 8:16Speaker 1: relationship ended, I'll never be able to find another person
- 8:20Speaker 1: like that. Not only will you not be able will
- 8:23Speaker 1: not only will you be able to find a person
- 8:25Speaker 1: like that, you can find a person that far better
- 8:30Speaker 1: than that if you don't give up. But see, sometimes
- 8:35Speaker 1: you've got to go through the bad ones to get
- 8:38Speaker 1: to the good ones, don't you, Dare? Dare, never give up.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you if you lose
- 8:46Speaker 1: a love one. And Lord knows, I've lost some people
- 8:50Speaker 1: I've loved dearly with every itch in me. I've lost
- 8:57Speaker 1: my mother, my father, my brother, and my best friend.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I don't know. I know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man,
- 9:07Speaker 1: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 9:13Speaker 1: What you're giving up for? Oh? I got you? Miss
- 9:16Speaker 1: him and I got you grieving, but I got news
- 9:19Speaker 1: for you. Don't you let the devil make you think
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's over for you because somebody else ain't still here.
- 9:26Speaker 1: It was their time. Now. I'm not trying to lessen
- 9:29Speaker 1: to blow for you, but I'm trying to get you
- 9:30Speaker 1: up on your feet so you can stop all this
- 9:34Speaker 1: old woe is me because the things is happening to you.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You're not the first person that has happened to Come on, now,
- 9:39Speaker 1: let's get a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 9:43Speaker 1: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 9:46Speaker 1: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 9:49Speaker 1: commercial breaks on Family Feud the other day and somebody
- 9:51Speaker 1: asked me, uh something, and I forgot the question, but
- 9:55Speaker 1: my answer was, I always wanted my mother and father
- 9:58Speaker 1: to be proud of me, and in the absence, in
- 10:02Speaker 1: their demise, I'm hoping just somehow man, that they're watching me,
- 10:08Speaker 1: that they see their boy, that I'm down here, that
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm doing better, that I'm making something out myself, that
- 10:16Speaker 1: I'm loving my wife, that I'm taking care of my kids.
- 10:19Speaker 1: To him old man, to see that about me. You know,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I want my mother to see I'm trying to get
- 10:25Speaker 1: my life together over here. You know, say, I'm trying
- 10:28Speaker 1: to be a better person. My mama was a Sunday
- 10:30Speaker 1: school teacher for forty years. She's been praying for me
- 10:32Speaker 1: for a long time. I just hope, man, and that's
- 10:36Speaker 1: all I'm doing. It's just hoping that they see me
- 10:39Speaker 1: so they can't be proud of me. See you, you, you,
- 10:43Speaker 1: you you. You got to understand that when you make
- 10:47Speaker 1: these mistakes, that when you fall and stumble and you
- 10:51Speaker 1: get it oh so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Don't you Dad, Dad, Dad? Ever give up? Don't stop thinking, man,
- 10:59Speaker 1: because it ain't happening just the way you wanted to
- 11:01Speaker 1: that it ain't meant to be devil. He got so
- 11:04Speaker 1: many tricks to deceive you. You know why you're being
- 11:07Speaker 1: tested right now, because there is no testimony without the test.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You got to go through something. It's all good man
- 11:18Speaker 1: telling you. I just wanted to share that with you.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victories coming, but

- 23:18Speaker 1: to come into the white facility, you shouldn't have signed
- 23:21Speaker 1: up for the white facility. You should have took your
- 23:24Speaker 1: black ass down to Cromwell with all the rest of
- 23:27Speaker 1: the black folks. I'm black. I can't stay white if
- 23:34Speaker 1: it don't fit my curmity. This is a black woman
- 23:37Speaker 1: old and that can't complain. But that's white too. Now,
- 23:42Speaker 1: I don't want to be Tom time us are time here,
- 23:46Speaker 1: But I don't want to be Tom. Oh yeah, well
- 23:49Speaker 1: that's the man's name in the story. Sweet, but you
- 23:52Speaker 1: change your name in the story. I'm I'm old Dale Adam.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Then I'm and I'm that, I'm Tim and Tom and
- 24:00Speaker 1: I'm yeah, I'm using Tom all right now that you're
- 24:03Speaker 1: gonna watch me today, let's get baby. You would think
- 24:07Speaker 1: that eighty you learn how to pronounce a word with ones.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Washing is not a word. But I need to be watched. Well,
- 24:16Speaker 1: the nurses is here for that. Have you met anybody
- 24:19Speaker 1: since you've been here? Yeah? Feelis she lives in uh
- 24:22Speaker 1: down in a four nineteen. That's well up the hole. Hey,
- 24:29Speaker 1: you gotta turn the corner to get down. We walked
- 24:32Speaker 1: together half where where y'all walk to? Outside in the garden? Okay,
- 24:38Speaker 1: So tell me a little bit about Peelis Phelis is. Uh,
- 24:43Speaker 1: he's ninety one. He's say that, and um, you know
- 24:52Speaker 1: she likes to play shuffle boy. I'm gonna had to
- 24:55Speaker 1: go down here and talk to this half about pressing
- 24:57Speaker 1: up on my baby. She knows, she owed well, she's
- 25:01Speaker 1: ninety one, and you ate it what she won't with you?
- 25:05Speaker 1: It ain't working. We're thinking about having relations, huh me
- 25:12Speaker 1: and miss Phyllis is thinking about having relations real close
- 25:16Speaker 1: to your mom. You ain't married to her. What is
- 25:21Speaker 1: you want to go to hell for? And you eighty
- 25:24Speaker 1: because you're close to something? You do know that, don't you? Yeah?
- 25:29Speaker 1: What does she do before before she come to this home? Tom?
- 25:34Speaker 1: That's time and time when it's time when I'm man,
- 25:36Speaker 1: so just time and see your mama answering me, don't
- 25:40Speaker 1: get back hands at eight? You don't hit me, n sweater,
- 25:45Speaker 1: God knock your airs right over there. Walker. Okay, she
- 25:52Speaker 1: was a stivil rights leader. And what was her name?
- 25:56Speaker 1: Because I know every linger one on Phillis sojourn join
- 26:03Speaker 1: that what's her name? Is her name? Jo? You're talking
- 26:07Speaker 1: about philis, sweetly, cousin, I think stop, Wait a minute,
- 26:16Speaker 1: they're there. You're talking about fast feelers, not no move?
- 26:23Speaker 1: Are you ninety one? Now you're not gonna call out
- 26:28Speaker 1: no mama. You're not gonna call out her name. Lord, Lord, Lord,
- 26:33Speaker 1: my baby then took up with a hole. Now you're
- 26:39Speaker 1: not gonna call Phillis no help. What is she thinking? She? Mom?
- 26:44Speaker 1: I love Philips. Boy, you ain't been in love a
- 26:50Speaker 1: day in your life. We got a future to take out.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Has you got a future together? She ninety one? For future? Future?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Be all way tomorrow week we end up. You don't
- 27:03Speaker 1: get futures with ninety old people. You just yes time remaining.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I'm going out laid on this evening and by philis
- 27:10Speaker 1: a ring? What what I'm gonna ask her for her hand?
- 27:16Speaker 1: What you want with hold? And we're thinking about settling
- 27:21Speaker 1: down and starting the family. You start you know this fool,
- 27:26Speaker 1: and start family? You just dumb. You never was good
- 27:29Speaker 1: in your health class back in school. They ain't got
- 27:32Speaker 1: no kids, and you can't be either. Trying to get
- 27:34Speaker 1: the boy you you're blowing saw dust if it blow
- 27:37Speaker 1: it out, says she's fertile. Boy, she didn't say she
- 27:46Speaker 1: was fertile. What does she says? She said she was fruitful? Well,
- 27:54Speaker 1: it ain't that the same thing that Martha plies down there?
- 27:58Speaker 1: Fruitful is in the Lord. Well, we want to have
- 28:02Speaker 1: a child together and raise it, raise it? How long
- 28:07Speaker 1: you think you'd take the raise of baby God? How
- 28:10Speaker 1: long is you thinking you and Phyllis is gonna have
- 28:12Speaker 1: a hand and raised child and go out? Now what
- 28:16Speaker 1: are y'all gonna make it a keen? I can't tell
- 28:18Speaker 1: you that right now, especially huh. Sarah in the Bible
- 28:24Speaker 1: had a baby at ninety. But we ain't in the Bible.
- 28:28Speaker 1: We're in a nursing home. We're nothing. If you read
- 28:35Speaker 1: about me, I don't think. I don't believe it's nothing
- 28:36Speaker 1: in there about the nihing home. Moses was nine hunted
- 28:41Speaker 1: because he was out there with the Lord mathusm or
- 28:43Speaker 1: whatever his name was. We don't do that in the here,
- 28:46Speaker 1: No more, God did all that back then he ain't
- 28:51Speaker 1: doing it now. How I want to know is where
- 28:53Speaker 1: you walk me down the aisle and give me away?
- 28:56Speaker 1: That's your father is supposed to walk a tide down
- 29:00Speaker 1: the aisle. But she ain't gotten on that it cause
- 29:02Speaker 1: he did. And why would I walk you down the
- 29:05Speaker 1: hole when you're stupid as post already be standing up there? Mommy?
- 29:11Speaker 1: Why do you have to talk like this in front
- 29:14Speaker 1: of our friend? But listen to me, We'll listen. What
- 29:16Speaker 1: is you saying? Why is you walking down? Are you
- 29:19Speaker 1: supposed to be up there as the bride that walks
- 29:21Speaker 1: down the out Now she's gonna come down there, the
- 29:24Speaker 1: whole wedding party in a hub round you know the
- 29:28Speaker 1: films that's gonna be in this church. I'm we're gonna
- 29:33Speaker 1: have nine operated vehicles in there. And why we're gonna
- 29:36Speaker 1: park all the old hell? Do you want me to
- 29:38Speaker 1: be happy or not? Mama? I want you to be happy, Tommy.
- 29:42Speaker 1: That's time at Tom. I'm not calling your time at Tom.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Now if you keep on, you feel to be time
- 29:49Speaker 1: at dud Tom. But you ain't feeling to be nothing.
- 29:53Speaker 1: Uncle Wow, Well this is remind me so much of
- 30:02Speaker 1: your uncle Tom. Just used to tell everything that we're
- 30:06Speaker 1: not gonna do that. Now, that's where the term came from,
- 30:09Speaker 1: just sitting down there with white folks just running head man,
- 30:13Speaker 1: have you picked out the ring yet? I picked out
- 30:16Speaker 1: the ring that I won't. I just need to get
- 30:17Speaker 1: down How much did you? How much was it? The
- 30:20Speaker 1: ring is two thousand dollars? What what is wrong with that?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Where did you get two thousand dollars from? I don't
- 30:29Speaker 1: have two thousand. I was gonna ask you for it. Okay, well, well,
- 30:36Speaker 1: oh we're good. Then safe in the arms of Jesus
- 30:40Speaker 1: is where that two thousand is? Because it won't be
- 30:42Speaker 1: on that old helper's hand. But have you met her?
- 30:45Speaker 1: Miss Ada? It's three thirty. Man, I got to go
- 30:48Speaker 1: down here and brush philix teeth. I'll be back in
- 30:51Speaker 1: a minute. See right there. How long you think that's
- 30:53Speaker 1: gonna last? Because you're not good as a kid giver.
- 30:56Speaker 1: You're gonna brush your teeth two times? Coming up, Miss
- 31:00Speaker 1: Sam will be here with why don't you Jeff had
- 31:02Speaker 1: a nurse bring her teeth down here to us, yester.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Ms Sam will be here with yesterday's election day results.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 31:18Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Uh, this horrible story. The Texas gunman's
- 31:23Speaker 1: domestic assault conviction wasn't sent to the national FBI database.
- 31:28Speaker 1: And this is really sad. This is terrible. Yeah, twenty
- 31:32Speaker 1: six people in the Texas church shooting on Sunday, many
- 31:36Speaker 1: of them were children, about half of them which were children. Uh.
- 31:39Speaker 1: The U. S. Air Force says the Texas church shooter's
- 31:42Speaker 1: name was never put into the FBI's National Criminal Information
- 31:46Speaker 1: Center the n c i S database after he was
- 31:49Speaker 1: court martialed for domestic violence. Now, I had that happened
- 31:54Speaker 1: as it was supposed to, shooter David Patrick Kelly would
- 31:57Speaker 1: never have been allowed to buy a weapon in the
- 31:59Speaker 1: first place. According to federal law, Kelly's conviction for a
- 32:03Speaker 1: domestic assault on his wife and young stepson. He cracked
- 32:07Speaker 1: the skull of the young stepson. He was violent, this man, Yeah,
- 32:12Speaker 1: he should it should have been made impossible. Should have
- 32:14Speaker 1: made it impossible for him to legally purchase the military type.
- 32:19Speaker 1: Two things are correct here. What's that, Steve? This is
- 32:24Speaker 1: a mental mental health issue. But with that, we still
- 32:30Speaker 1: refuse to address the gun law problem. We keep overlooking it,
- 32:37Speaker 1: and it's and it's and it's so right down the
- 32:40Speaker 1: middle of party lines. No Republican is saying this is
- 32:46Speaker 1: a gun law problem. All the Democrats are saying, we
- 32:50Speaker 1: got to do something about gun laws. So when President
- 32:53Speaker 1: Trump said it's a mental health issue, then they heavily
- 32:57Speaker 1: went over here and started spinning it in to if
- 33:00Speaker 1: it's if he wasn't mentally ill. You can't stop a
- 33:03Speaker 1: person who's mentally ill from doing evil stuff, but if
- 33:06Speaker 1: he didn't have access to that gun, And then the
- 33:12Speaker 1: extra spin was somebody, another law abiding citizen had a
- 33:18Speaker 1: gun was able to chase him down in that well,
- 33:21Speaker 1: he didn't get apprehended. He's dead, which I don't have
- 33:26Speaker 1: a problem with myself personally. Well, I think Steve, what
- 33:33Speaker 1: the President is saying that part is irrelevant. The issue
- 33:36Speaker 1: is that this man, if he had mental health issues,
- 33:39Speaker 1: he should have been input into the database and they
- 33:42Speaker 1: would not have sold him these weapons. They refused to
- 33:45Speaker 1: talk about the gun control in the database. Is getting
- 33:48Speaker 1: all of this together that when is it going to
- 33:50Speaker 1: be enough? How many people have to die before they
- 33:52Speaker 1: do something right? And the only time we talked about
- 33:56Speaker 1: this is during times like this all too often now
- 34:00Speaker 1: because it happens so frequently, you know, but um, yeah,
- 34:04Speaker 1: this is the only time we even bring up. It's
- 34:09Speaker 1: clear to me mm hmm that money comes in front
- 34:13Speaker 1: of life to a lot of these politicians and country
- 34:17Speaker 1: and it's just obvious to me. Let me because this
- 34:21Speaker 1: Second Amendment, man, y'all can stop faking with this American
- 34:26Speaker 1: right to carry a gun. That ain't what we talk that.
- 34:31Speaker 1: We're talking about the types of guns that you can
- 34:33Speaker 1: buy in this country. That's what I'm asking and your
- 34:36Speaker 1: ability to purchase what's this thing they're trying to take
- 34:39Speaker 1: off the thought rifle that they think, but what is that?
- 34:44Speaker 1: It's something that you can buy to put on a
- 34:46Speaker 1: rifle that gives it the capability to be repeat you
- 34:50Speaker 1: over and over in Vegas did. Yeah, that's gonna help.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Why we just can't remove the whole gun period. Good
- 34:58Speaker 1: question that we've asked, how losing Yes, answer to that question. Yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: But they're not gonna do it because it would affect sales. See,
- 35:08Speaker 1: you gotta this is just guns sales, y'allah. This is
- 35:12Speaker 1: gun sales. It's a huge business, alright, Steve. We we
- 35:18Speaker 1: gotta move on here and uh go to mssan Ladies
- 35:24Speaker 1: and gentlemen, our very own voice of fact MS and trip.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Thanks Steve. Good morning everybody out there. This is a
- 35:34Speaker 1: trip with the news. President Trump met with both US
- 35:37Speaker 1: and South Korean forces yesterday on a new base in
- 35:39Speaker 1: The new base is named Camp Humphreys. It's going to
- 35:42Speaker 1: reportedly ultimately house many of the twenty thousand of the U.
- 35:45Speaker 1: S servicemen stationed on the Korean peninsula. Authorities say it's
- 35:48Speaker 1: located forty miles south of the capital of Seoul, so
- 35:51Speaker 1: the Camp Humphreys is beyond the reach of North Korea's
- 35:53Speaker 1: conventional artillery. The President also issued a warning, by the
- 35:57Speaker 1: way to the North, this is a very different administration
- 36:02Speaker 1: then the United States has had in the past. Do
- 36:06Speaker 1: not underestimate us, and do not try us. It appears
- 36:13Speaker 1: that President Trump may have been snubbed, but he may
- 36:15Speaker 1: not care about this one. Hundreds of world leaders have
- 36:17Speaker 1: reportedly been invited to a climate summit next month in Paris,
- 36:20Speaker 1: but Trump has not. French officials say that an invite
- 36:23Speaker 1: will be sent to the US, but only on the
- 36:25Speaker 1: diplomatic level. French President Manuel Clong Emmanuel mcclon is hosting
- 36:30Speaker 1: the gathering, which he's calling make our planet great again.
- 36:33Speaker 1: That's an obvious ripped one Trump's campaign slogan, the president's
- 36:36Speaker 1: vow to pull the United States out of the Paris
- 36:39Speaker 1: Climate Accord early this year unless the deal that he
- 36:42Speaker 1: liked better could be set up, which is probably why
- 36:44Speaker 1: he's not invited. Okay. According to the l A Times,
- 36:47Speaker 1: get this, u c l A recooperating with Chinese law
- 36:50Speaker 1: enforcement following report the rest of three of its basketball
- 36:53Speaker 1: players on Tuesday. They're all freshmen and one of them
- 36:56Speaker 1: is lavarre Ball's son, li Angelo Ball. Dayton Hills another one,
- 37:01Speaker 1: and Cody Riley is the third. They were taken into
- 37:03Speaker 1: custody in China for allegedly stealing from a high end
- 37:06Speaker 1: retail store next to the team's hotel. By the way,
- 37:09Speaker 1: the laws in China are so strict that one one
- 37:12Speaker 1: was sentenced to ten years in prison for stealing a
- 37:15Speaker 1: cell phone. They don't play over there. In Virginia yesterday,
- 37:18Speaker 1: the Democrat Ralph Northam won the governorship over the Republican
- 37:22Speaker 1: Ed Gilesbie by about fifty three percent over fort pent Gleespie.
- 37:26Speaker 1: They say ran a very Trumpish type campaign. By the way,
- 37:29Speaker 1: Virginia was the only southern state that Donald Trump did
- 37:31Speaker 1: not win last November. New Jersey's incoming governor is a Democrat,
- 37:34Speaker 1: Phil Murphy, a former Goldman Sachs banker and US Ambassador Germany,
- 37:38Speaker 1: promising to bring a number of progressive policies to the
- 37:41Speaker 1: Garden State. For instance, Murphy says he wants to tax millionaires,
- 37:44Speaker 1: legalized marijuana, and raise the minimum wage. Looks like Republican
- 37:47Speaker 1: Kim Guardano, who served as Governor Chris Christie's lieutenant governor,
- 37:50Speaker 1: couldn't get out from under Christie's very very unpopulous shadow. Finally,
- 37:54Speaker 1: Today's National Cappuccino Day and National dunstaye and this is
- 38:00Speaker 1: san trip Whop be back with Eugene the Butterfly twenty
- 38:02Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Stay tuned to the Steve Harvey
- 38:04Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 38:08Speaker 1: All right, Steve come on, introduced the Butterfly. He is here,
- 38:12Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Eugene, Good morning everyone, Stephen Um Charlie
- 38:17Speaker 1: College Jr. Timy, Good morning to everyone in the building. Morning.
- 38:20Speaker 1: But I am needed some good morning good morning. I
- 38:25Speaker 1: mean a desperate need of help today. I am really
- 38:27Speaker 1: going through some issues. Man. What you need. Man. For
- 38:29Speaker 1: the last two days, I have been having a huge nightmare.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Is this a man that keeps chasing me in my dreams?
- 38:37Speaker 1: And I'm just really really going through It's a big pile, man.
- 38:43Speaker 1: But I don't even know why he's chasing me. It's
- 38:44Speaker 1: just I'm I'm not getting any sleep and I'm staying
- 38:47Speaker 1: up late at night pacing the floor. Which man, is
- 38:49Speaker 1: it because everybody taller? So who you calling? I don't know.
- 38:53Speaker 1: And Stephen, but he's really he's just a scary look
- 38:56Speaker 1: at man, and he's just chasing me. So I just
- 38:58Speaker 1: wanted to get what did you all do when you
- 39:00Speaker 1: have nightmares? Because I don't know what to do. I'm
- 39:02Speaker 1: afraid to close my eyes at night, and it's just
- 39:04Speaker 1: bothered me. But I'm being chased and he's tasted me
- 39:07Speaker 1: off with two cliffs and I've fallen and it's just
- 39:10Speaker 1: it's just too much. It's way too much. I mean,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I very rarely. I can't even tell you the last
- 39:17Speaker 1: time I've had a nightmare. Nightmare, Yeah, something scary, but
- 39:21Speaker 1: I'm the only one to have nightmares. I've had dreams,
- 39:24Speaker 1: but nothing like what you're talking about. I got somebody
- 39:27Speaker 1: it's chasing me and continually do you have a high butt?
- 39:32Speaker 1: Well do you think timmy chasing me? Here? Now? You
- 39:36Speaker 1: said tall, Yeah, I'm not in your dream. You ain't tall. Listen.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I just want some help from friends, but as kind
- 39:52Speaker 1: of workers. What can I do to to stop the nightmares?
- 39:55Speaker 1: I'm coming? Does anyone have a dream book? I mean,
- 39:57Speaker 1: I know they have dream books. Let's do with that. Yeah,
- 40:00Speaker 1: do what you're dreaming about. I just told you this
- 40:03Speaker 1: man is chasing me and I don't know what he wants,
- 40:06Speaker 1: but I just it's I think he's gonna I think
- 40:09Speaker 1: he's trying to do some harm to me. Why don't
- 40:11Speaker 1: you slow down and see that's that stipid right there?
- 40:14Speaker 1: When what then you have to have a dream? No?
- 40:16Speaker 1: Most Yeah, but get caught and then we can go
- 40:19Speaker 1: get the dream over. You realize that it is only
- 40:22Speaker 1: a dream. Stop real, stop and let him beat the
- 40:26Speaker 1: hell out of me and then wake up, that's what
- 40:27Speaker 1: you're saying. But you can fight in the dreams bad.
- 40:30Speaker 1: It's just a dream, butterfly, So tonight when I lay down,
- 40:34Speaker 1: get ready for the big fight. Is that what you're saying, Junior?
- 40:38Speaker 1: When you got with me? Yeah, I'm gonna meet you
- 40:40Speaker 1: over there now. I'm just thinking if we lay down together,
- 40:43Speaker 1: we could go into the No. I just need somebody
- 40:48Speaker 1: to go with me. I'm thinking, where do you want
- 40:51Speaker 1: them to come. I'm just thinking if we lay down
- 40:53Speaker 1: and take a nap together, he'll go into my dream
- 40:55Speaker 1: with me. Is that you say your prayers before you
- 40:59Speaker 1: go to say I didn't the last two nights. Maybe
- 41:01Speaker 1: that's the problem. That's why right there, right, I think
- 41:04Speaker 1: that's what you need to do. Yeah, absolutely, all right.
- 41:07Speaker 1: When we come back from the break at thirty, back
- 41:09Speaker 1: to the hour. Thanksgiving isn't about two weeks, guys, believe
- 41:14Speaker 1: it or not. So yeah, So which house guest is
- 41:18Speaker 1: coming that drives you nuts? We'll talk about that when
- 41:20Speaker 1: we come back at thirty or four after. I'm sure
- 41:27Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, uh,
- 41:32Speaker 1: who is the house guest or a person coming by
- 41:35Speaker 1: for Thanksgiving? Which surprisingly isn't about two weeks? Man, this
- 41:40Speaker 1: year went fast that that you're not looking forward to sing?
- 41:43Speaker 1: Who is it? My mother in law's sister's husband? What?
- 41:48Speaker 1: Who was that? Though? I don't even know? Thank yous
- 41:52Speaker 1: for Ernest? Why what's yeah, your mother as a dream.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I love her, love her man, My mother law, my
- 42:05Speaker 1: father in law is the best. Mom and daddy. I
- 42:07Speaker 1: got the best. I never had a complaint. Man, we're happy.
- 42:10Speaker 1: We enjoy each other. They don't stay in my house
- 42:12Speaker 1: as long as they were her sister husband. I don't know,
- 42:19Speaker 1: that's what that's what's wrong. I don't know. No, they
- 42:22Speaker 1: come to dinner and they do what we was having
- 42:26Speaker 1: a prayer. One my mom in law said, that's all
- 42:29Speaker 1: whole hands, you know, huge kitchen, about twenty people. Everybody
- 42:34Speaker 1: go around and say what they think. Okay, now I
- 42:38Speaker 1: ain't like this here because there's too many people, and
- 42:41Speaker 1: I didn't know half the people that was in the circle.
- 42:44Speaker 1: So and then I really don't care what you're grateful
- 42:46Speaker 1: fault because dinner is ready and we can talk about
- 42:50Speaker 1: this why we eat, you know? But what is all
- 42:52Speaker 1: this beforehand? And it got around to everybody. This one
- 42:58Speaker 1: lady took a long time, but her is what's the best.
- 43:01Speaker 1: So I I broke from the circle and started clapping
- 43:04Speaker 1: because I wanted to try to end it with applause,
- 43:07Speaker 1: and you're not supposed a clap doing prayer. But I
- 43:11Speaker 1: just tried to wrap it up and it kept going.
- 43:15Speaker 1: And I'm holding this dude's hand now. I don't know
- 43:18Speaker 1: nothing wrong with him until it got to him and
- 43:22Speaker 1: he started talking about what he was grateful folks. He said.
- 43:26Speaker 1: He said, I'm grateful for the weather and that we
- 43:32Speaker 1: had these jackets home, and that the fact that you know,
- 43:38Speaker 1: everything at the grocery store is fresh, and that we
- 43:41Speaker 1: can go go by there. And I think, I thank
- 43:46Speaker 1: him for my cards to that come on in the
- 43:50Speaker 1: morning and take us safe. And then I want to
- 43:54Speaker 1: thank him for the freshness or the potato chips in
- 43:58Speaker 1: the bag sometime me. I'm sitting now, I'm looking outside
- 44:04Speaker 1: his head, but my whole body trimming because everybody got
- 44:07Speaker 1: their head down and sept Winting is looking up in
- 44:12Speaker 1: full blown hollow mode up at me, face toalk. I'm
- 44:22Speaker 1: over here. My whole body is shaking. I'm laughing so hard,
- 44:26Speaker 1: trying not to blurt it out. My mother law she
- 44:31Speaker 1: holding my hand on the other side. She squeezes my
- 44:33Speaker 1: hand to try to help me through it. That ain't
- 44:35Speaker 1: stopping nothing. I got. Who is this man? Then my
- 44:40Speaker 1: other son, Steve, he opens his eyes and he starts snickering.
- 44:45Speaker 1: My son's me and my sons is in hollow mode.
- 44:51Speaker 1: This to us, yil, and I've given him full permission
- 44:55Speaker 1: that laughing stuff like that. So I looked over to
- 44:59Speaker 1: the left the circle, and my wife is glaring at
- 45:02Speaker 1: me with a little green eyes. I'm talking about glaring
- 45:06Speaker 1: if you don't squid, if you don't pull it together
- 45:12Speaker 1: like when she said that. And then I thank the Lord.
- 45:16Speaker 1: I gotta tune up. The other day I had. I
- 45:24Speaker 1: had to let everybody head and go and leave the circle.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I got a tune up. Yeah, thank god, I got
- 45:30Speaker 1: a tune up. The other day I went in my office.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I'm holly, I'm holling. Next thing, I look up winting
- 45:37Speaker 1: in the office with me because he couldn't handle it.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I love it. That was it. I love it. So
- 45:45Speaker 1: you don't want him to come by this year? Man,
- 45:47Speaker 1: Please don't please don't let him speak right? What's yours?
- 45:52Speaker 1: And my wife got a cousin and a never on
- 45:56Speaker 1: time with her part of the US. But one year, bro,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I was ready for this peach cop her ass put
- 46:05Speaker 1: some damn blueberries in it with it. I was so
- 46:09Speaker 1: mad about that, man, I walked we don't mess that
- 46:12Speaker 1: up like that, right, hang on, we'll let you finish that.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Coming up next is the nephews frank phone call. You're
- 46:21Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show, coming up at the
- 46:25Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after today's
- 46:27Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. But first the nephew has to finish your
- 46:30Speaker 1: Thanksgiving story. Then we'll do the prank phone call. She
- 46:33Speaker 1: brings the peace coblok and it is the worst because
- 46:37Speaker 1: you know, I'm a ice cream cobbler, man. That's that's
- 46:40Speaker 1: how I has to go together. You know what was
- 46:44Speaker 1: uncle Ernest? I need a name? Yes, her name Joscelyn.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Do you know it? You know Houston listening right now?
- 46:58Speaker 1: You know, damn will she brought that cobler with him.
- 47:00Speaker 1: I'm being resented, man, don't mess up, don't try nothing
- 47:02Speaker 1: new on the factor, do that, don't do that? Alright, alright,
- 47:08Speaker 1: so thank you for that? All right? Come on, what
- 47:12Speaker 1: I didn't brought my wife to work with me today?
- 47:13Speaker 1: So this is a great plank for this. Here. This
- 47:16Speaker 1: is w c S Wife Correction Service. Yeah, yeah, you
- 47:21Speaker 1: sent them down in their correct wife correct service, didn't
- 47:30Speaker 1: I tell y'all, wasn't gonna laugh. Just he got about
- 47:36Speaker 1: two more weeks, just the beginning of it right here. Hello,
- 47:44Speaker 1: I am trying to reach George Police. My name is
- 47:48Speaker 1: Marcus with w c S. UH calling and see if
- 47:52Speaker 1: we can actually try to lend you our services. We
- 47:55Speaker 1: understand that you're having a few problems and want to
- 47:58Speaker 1: see if maybe w c S can bring um a
- 48:01Speaker 1: better life to you and you can have a uh
- 48:03Speaker 1: an exciting life better than the one you have. Now.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Who is it? We are with Wife Correctional Services, sir,
- 48:11Speaker 1: w CS. What it is is, we take your wife's
- 48:13Speaker 1: for a couple of weeks and we reprogram them so
- 48:16Speaker 1: that it's of course you have to sign a waiver contract,
- 48:18Speaker 1: but we take your wife and we reprogrammed them so
- 48:21Speaker 1: that they will act in a fashion of what you
- 48:23Speaker 1: want them to act. Okay, okay, whatever, See sir. What
- 48:28Speaker 1: it is that we've gotten some we've gotten some reports
- 48:31Speaker 1: that you've been having some problems with with your particular wife.
- 48:35Speaker 1: And we're here in St. Louis, sir, And don't worry,
- 48:41Speaker 1: We're totally confidential. This is not anything that's gonna get
- 48:44Speaker 1: out um. And and your your names are never submitted.
- 48:48Speaker 1: First of all, here's here's something we can do. I
- 48:50Speaker 1: can ask you questions because we've been notified that this
- 48:52Speaker 1: is probably a service that you would probably want. Now, Um,
- 48:56Speaker 1: has your wife ever snapped on you in public? And
- 49:00Speaker 1: snapped on me? I mean what I mean? She My
- 49:03Speaker 1: wife ain't crazy, So I don't just snap on me.
- 49:05Speaker 1: She might, you know, try to check me, U say something.
- 49:08Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. She's just gonna snap on me.
- 49:10Speaker 1: So your wife you so your wife has tried to
- 49:12Speaker 1: check you. It's what you're saying. May not check me
- 49:15Speaker 1: per se? I mean she might. She might not like
- 49:17Speaker 1: some mom doing it, might say something about it, but
- 49:19Speaker 1: don't just snap on So basically your wife is not
- 49:22Speaker 1: in her place where she needs to be. I mean
- 49:25Speaker 1: what you mean? Another plan? I mean she might say something,
- 49:28Speaker 1: you know. I mean I might be doing something or
- 49:30Speaker 1: you know, it might be with my boys and might
- 49:32Speaker 1: get out of control a little bit. She might just
- 49:33Speaker 1: say something at the time, but she don't just try
- 49:35Speaker 1: to all out check nobody. You know what I'm saying. Okay, Okay,
- 49:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Let me ask you this one.
- 49:40Speaker 1: Have you ever just had some plans with your guys?
- 49:42Speaker 1: We're gonna go out and had to change your plans because, um,
- 49:46Speaker 1: your wife. Well, I mean if if like I'm just
- 49:49Speaker 1: comb hanging out and I ain't let her know or something,
- 49:52Speaker 1: she might you know, be like, well, baby already had plans,
- 49:54Speaker 1: you know, can you stay home with the boys or something.
- 49:57Speaker 1: But I mean nothing, I mean nothing on the regular.
- 49:59Speaker 1: You know, you we do what I want to do.
- 50:01Speaker 1: It seems like denial. Okay, here's another one, sir. Well, no,
- 50:05Speaker 1: just listen, hear me out. Now, let me ask you this.
- 50:07Speaker 1: Um has your wife. Let's say, back when Michael Jordan
- 50:11Speaker 1: was playing basketball, did you ever miss a playoff game
- 50:14Speaker 1: on television because your wife wanted to watch something else? Now, men,
- 50:18Speaker 1: we got two TVs in my house. Man, I wish No.
- 50:20Speaker 1: I don't even get down. I mean I might have
- 50:22Speaker 1: to watch the little TV, okay, but I mean I
- 50:25Speaker 1: usually watch it on the big Yeah. But but you
- 50:28Speaker 1: doing You've been pushed to watching the smaller television. No,
- 50:32Speaker 1: I wouldn't push to do nothing. Man. What I'm trying
- 50:34Speaker 1: to tell you is, I mean we compromise. We do
- 50:36Speaker 1: in my house. I mean she might get the big
- 50:38Speaker 1: TV to watch her stories or something, and I just
- 50:40Speaker 1: had to go watch the TV. Let's TV do go
- 50:43Speaker 1: out of here? Wants to see? We got so cool
- 50:46Speaker 1: with that. I'm cool with that. So you're you're actually
- 50:50Speaker 1: the one that's programmed. And ain't nothing wrong with my wife?
- 50:53Speaker 1: Ain't nothing wrong with my family? I understand. Well, let
- 50:57Speaker 1: me the reason why I'm asking you these particular questions
- 51:00Speaker 1: is because someone has actually let me know the problems
- 51:04Speaker 1: that are at hand in your household. Let me ask you.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I got one question for you. Here's what I want
- 51:07Speaker 1: to ask you. Has your wife ever cussed you out
- 51:10Speaker 1: at a family cookout? Man? Hold on, man, you know
- 51:13Speaker 1: what you're getting a little personal? Man? Is this even legal? Man?
- 51:19Speaker 1: I'm here, I'm here, I man, I've never heard. This
- 51:24Speaker 1: is something new. Is definitely saying something new. I mean, what,
- 51:27Speaker 1: don't make me be your guinea pig. Don't don't start.
- 51:30Speaker 1: I'll calling me trying to get you know, referrals, the
- 51:33Speaker 1: clientele or whatever it is you're trying to do. Man,
- 51:35Speaker 1: don't call me with this nonsense. Partner, And I completely
- 51:38Speaker 1: understand that WCS, Sir, is here to benefit you, benefit
- 51:43Speaker 1: to men. Look at my personal business one and what's
- 51:46Speaker 1: going on in mind? As old? Okay, well, last thing
- 51:49Speaker 1: I want to ask you, and this is the last
- 51:51Speaker 1: question I have for you. Make straight up? Okay? Have
- 51:55Speaker 1: you do you do? Do you buy your own clothes
- 51:58Speaker 1: or does she buy the clothes? You know? Man? This man?
- 52:01Speaker 1: You whatever company? This is? Dog? Don't call house no more?
- 52:05Speaker 1: And whatever put you up to this? Whoever gave you
- 52:08Speaker 1: my number talking about my wife? Checked me, got me
- 52:11Speaker 1: under control, got me on lock man. You tell him too,
- 52:14Speaker 1: don't call me no more? What are you are? You?
- 52:17Speaker 1: Are you in denying? No dog? Don't call house no more.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what George Foreman or whatever it's

- 52:32Speaker 1: I'll located dog. I'm coming down there and I'm gonna
- 52:34Speaker 1: brush you as you in my personal So you're ready,
- 52:37Speaker 1: you're ready to retaliate on me, but you don't want
- 52:41Speaker 1: to retaliate on the problems you have with your wife. Retaliation. Man,
- 52:44Speaker 1: what I'm saying, you're calling my house, I'm minding my home.
- 52:48Speaker 1: And as you're worried about who you're watching what TV
- 52:50Speaker 1: in my house? And my wife checking me in public.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I want man, Hey, don look, I'm telling you. Don't
- 52:56Speaker 1: you want to watch the big television? Big TV? Man?
- 52:59Speaker 1: I'm comfortable with the TV I got. You know what
- 53:01Speaker 1: I'm saying. It's in my room. I came across the bed.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Watch whatever I want, you whatever I want. Don't you
- 53:07Speaker 1: want to be able to go out with when you
- 53:09Speaker 1: went with my partner's dollar? Not a fact? You don't
- 53:11Speaker 1: need to get partners. You call it what you wanna
- 53:16Speaker 1: do to me and your wife has already done to you.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I see you got to Damn. I'm gonna block what's
- 53:21Speaker 1: your phone number? Man? Give me something? Tell me where
- 53:23Speaker 1: to find you. Why are you in denial? Denial? I'm
- 53:27Speaker 1: gonna tell you what. You need to get your wife
- 53:29Speaker 1: checked in to wife correctional services so that you can

- 53:37Speaker 1: a life? Man? Can I get the life? Man? Stop

- 56:14Speaker 1: You do not want to miss it. But before we
- 56:16Speaker 1: get to the letter, La La or girl La La,
- 56:20Speaker 1: We love La La Anthony, she shared some words of
- 56:23Speaker 1: wisdom for strippers. All right, we'll work out. Yeah, if
- 56:27Speaker 1: you haven't heard strippers are currently on strike in New
- 56:30Speaker 1: York City. Now. According to the dancers, the sexy dressed
- 56:35Speaker 1: bartenders and the bottle girls steal their tips. They what
- 56:39Speaker 1: they do is sweep the cash off the stages and
- 56:42Speaker 1: onto the bar floors when the customers make it rain.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Uh huh la La, who claims she knows that scene
- 56:51Speaker 1: very well. She weighed in on the situation when asked
- 56:54Speaker 1: who she tips more, uh La La said she tries
- 56:57Speaker 1: to be equal to the strippers and the bartender, but
- 57:00Speaker 1: no matter what, her limit is a thousand dollars, whoever
- 57:03Speaker 1: she's tipping, her limit is one grand. That's it. Yeah,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and that's a lot. And she right now, you're not
- 57:10Speaker 1: getting a thousand dollars, man, I tell you right nothing
- 57:13Speaker 1: to the strip club since Joe Tory took me the
- 57:16Speaker 1: Magic City in the eighties. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 57:20Speaker 1: thousand dollars we were in that backwards Pence, thousand dollars.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Thousand dollars that where we were in the back were
- 57:31Speaker 1: the back ain't Kurt and I want to go to
- 57:35Speaker 1: the rock. You're really transparent saying a thousand dollars. The
- 57:41Speaker 1: bouncer can't being here in them. Come on, come on,
- 57:43Speaker 1: I can't say what I want thousand dollars. We we
- 57:47Speaker 1: were a little bit pass v I p we nike
- 57:51Speaker 1: it on the way to the back of put your
- 57:53Speaker 1: trains four thousand. Yeah, you're not gonna put that back
- 57:56Speaker 1: on them, all right? But should name Marge Shirley? Should
- 58:00Speaker 1: they march since they strike? Oh the stripper? Oh like
- 58:03Speaker 1: we're unpaid. But they should do this in scrip or clothes. Well,
- 58:10Speaker 1: but one thing about it though, if they don't come
- 58:14Speaker 1: to work, some bottle girls and waitresses, they gotta do
- 58:18Speaker 1: a whole lot of mode and sparkles. So what you're saying, everybody,
- 58:22Speaker 1: you know sparkles and the bottle girls. They had sparkles
- 58:26Speaker 1: for years. This is this is this guy started. We'd
- 58:30Speaker 1: back when I was out there. This ain't nothing new.
- 58:33Speaker 1: It's just younger people are getting involved in it. So
- 58:36Speaker 1: just everybody. They are sparkless when I was a little boy,
- 58:41Speaker 1: we're not talking about yeah that we had sparkless when
- 58:46Speaker 1: I was a little boy. That right. I kept them
- 58:47Speaker 1: over there on my dress, right next to my captain.
- 58:50Speaker 1: All right, you'll be interested, you'll be interested in what else?
- 58:53Speaker 1: Lala said. She added that the cutoff age because you'll
- 58:57Speaker 1: be interested in this stay for stripping should be round.
- 59:00Speaker 1: What do you think I think stripping you You gotta
- 59:04Speaker 1: end your stripping career at thirty thirty, Lala says, around
- 59:10Speaker 1: forty forty a career. Yeah, well, I mean there's some
- 59:15Speaker 1: women who are fine now who can be out there,
- 59:18Speaker 1: but you lose a lot of points in your life department.
- 59:22Speaker 1: You can't be farty and come off the pole and
- 59:25Speaker 1: want to be wife. No, you can't. Not that it's
- 59:29Speaker 1: just a job. They look at it as a job.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Not because the Fortio stripper in New York is not
- 59:34Speaker 1: the same Fortio stripper in Birmingham. I'm two different forty
- 59:41Speaker 1: it's not the same one. Atlanta. Pull up to me?
- 59:45Speaker 1: Are you crazy? Magic city? It's magic? So I'll just continue.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Lala says, right the way as long as you can. Okay, okay,
- 59:55Speaker 1: l line is wrong, La. It ain't no future in it.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: It ain't no future in this. I think we should
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: go down. Ain't nobody taking you making? You know? Wife?
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: After this, let's go talk to him, all right. We
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: gotta get to the letter. Call hold on tight, we
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: got it. Strawberry letter, subject stop sneaking I know what
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: you're doing. Good morning, Steve and Carla. I listened to
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: your show every day on my way to work and
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: was wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: a thirty one year old mother of two and I've
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: been married for over seven years. I've noticed that our relations,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: meaning my husband and I have decreased to almost nothing.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I have to almost coax him into having relations both
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: times while I was pregnant. It was like pulling teeth.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: My aunt was amazed as to how I even got pregnant,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: not once, but twice. Anyway, I remember Steve saying a
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: while ago that even when men are sick, they still
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: want to have sex. Here's a problem. My husband, in
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: my mind, is addicted to porn. It's all on the computer.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: He tries to have a password on this computer, but
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I know it, so I check every now and then
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: to make sure it's only females he's looking at. Thank God,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: because that was question number one. There are you? They
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: are usually wider Latino girls, occasionally black girls. Needless to say,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I am African American. Anyway, I noticed that in the
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: middle of the night he makes a trip to the hall.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Lenen closet to obtain a wash cloth. I mean, I
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: am not stupid. I know what he's doing. I once
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: found over a hundred tapes and DVDs in the basement.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: My question to you all is what can I do
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to change his interests from the computer to me? Steve,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: don't tear me up too bad. But I have to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: mention I am a very attractive young lady and have
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: the opportunity at any time to have my needs met
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: outside the home. But he is the father of my children,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and I love him and would not do that even
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: though we average three times a year. I want to
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: have relations with him and only him. Stop using all
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: my washcloth. Okay. Contrary to what's contrary, you know what,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Contrary to what some people think pornography is harmful, it
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: is not harmless. Okay. It could be very destructive in
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: a marriage and a relationship because what happens is the
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: more you see, the more you need to keep you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: or or to get you stimulated regular or just like
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: normal stuff doesn't hold your interests anymore. And it makes
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: your wife feel betrayed. It can make her feel helpless.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: You know, she may not. She may feel responsible and
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: unattractive but she says, she's an attractive mother of two
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: whose husband is addicted to porn has plenty pretty much
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: lost his interest in being intimate with her. That's why,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: to me, porn is dangerous. You know, if I could
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: say anything to your husband, it would be that anything
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: that takes you away from or captures your mind in
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: such a way that you put it over your wife
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: in marriage, that's wrong. You know, your wife and her
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: needs should come first, and any kind of addiction and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: be detrimental to your relationship, be a drugs, food, shopping, gambling,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: et cetera. Whatever it is. But you, as his wife,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: are gonna have to stop, you know, just step up,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: speak to him, Talk to him, tell him what you
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: told us, that you love him, you want only him,
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: and that uh, you know, the both of you are
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: going to have to work out this problem. Tell him
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: how you feel about it, Tell him that you need
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: intimacy in your marriage, and suggest that he get help
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: for his porn addiction because it is taking a toll
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: on your marriage. Uh. And if all else sails, you know,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: go on his computer. You've got the past where delete everything,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Steve Yep, that's it. And they're married seven years. I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: am too. What was he yesterday? The code cracker? Most
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: take consideration before I answer this, and hell, while y'all
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: on a commercial break, I'm gonna be in prol Okay,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: come back, she'll response, you're listening, all right. Come on,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: Steve with your response to part two of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: I want to just say, shut your damn line, but
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: I have come on. Good morning, Steve, Sherlett, Tommy and Carl.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I listen to you every day on my way to
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: work and was wondering if you could give me some advice.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I'm a thirty one year old mother too and have
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: been married over seven years. I've noticed that our relations,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: meaning my husband and I have deceased to almost nothing.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I have to almost coaxed in and having relations. Both
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: times while I was pregnant, it was like pulling teeth.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Mine was amazed. As a high I even got pregnant,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: not once but twice. Anyway, I remember Steve saying a
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: while ago that even when me and are sick, they
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: still want to have sex. Here's the problem. My husband,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: in my mind, is addicted to point it's all on
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: the computer. He tries to have a password on his computer,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: but I know it, so I checked every now and
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: then to make sure it's only females he's looking at.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Thank god, that was question number one. They are usually
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: white or Latino girls, occasionally black girls. Needless to say,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I'm African American. Anyway, I noticed that in the middle
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: of the night he makes a trip to the hall
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: linen closet to obtain a wash cloth. I mean, I
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: am not stupid. I know what he is doing. I
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: once found over one hundred tapes and DVDs in the basement.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: My question to you all is what cannot you to
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: change his interest from the computer to me? Steve, don't
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: tell me I'm too bad, but I have to mention
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: that I am a very attractive young lady and had
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: the opportunity in any time to have my knees mat
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: outside the home. But he is the father of my children.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I love him and would not do that, even though
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: we average three times a year. I want to have
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: relations with him and only him stop using my wash cloth. Well.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: After praying about this so that I wouldn't turn this
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: into something vulcan in case we didn't lose the show,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: because that's what the letter is, I decided that today's
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: sermon should be on the subject stop using all of
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: my wash club, take your time. Now, I ventured to say,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: let's break the letter down line by line, bit by bit.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Come on here now, your aunt was amazed how you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: even got pregnant, not once, but twice. If you're only
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: loving somebody three times a year and you wind up
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: pregnant two times, I want to commend your husband for
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: being virile, full of villain in life. He it's qualified
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to be a far Go to verse three now I didn't.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: As we move on, I remember Steve saying a while
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: ago that even when me and are sick, they still
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: won't have sex. Or you don't have to print that
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: back to me. That's a norm sack to every man living.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Come on, we'll have sex whether we're sick. We can
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: get a goal bladder operation and want to have sex
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: that even we can get our tools tied. You can
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: get your tools, you want to have sex. Right after that,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I had a case of here rods one time, screaming
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: and blind swoll so big when I sat on the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: toilet they hung in the cool I was flush to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: get relief, and right after that I still wanted to
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: have sex just you get my gut true. Come on,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you don't understand where we act with sex. It's important,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: it is. But now your man is having sex on
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: the comprooter. That's your on the it's on the comprooter. Okay,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Now I ventured to say that it is always white
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: girls and latinos. Well, let me say this to you,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: black girl. Maybe when he went to Louis Sen you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: read off, he get it just high wanted high wanted
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: it hurt away from. Now you're thinking just because you
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: find an attractive and you could get yours outside the house. Yeah, well,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: let me tell you something my Deacon Boomerang's grandmother wants saying.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: What is it that no matter how fine a woman
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: he is, there's a man somewhere sick and tired of her. Know,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: you asked me not to cut you up too bad,
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: But let's just talk about really how stupid you are
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you letting your man get up every night in the
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: middle of the night, stand with down to the linen
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: closet and get a watch clothes to go do what
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: you know what he's doing. But guess what what if
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: you ain't had a meeting with him? Body, come on,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: you ain't pulled him into the pastor's office for confrontation.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: If you just keep letting him get the watch cloth
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: and go meet with little senior reader and send it
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: bubblicious and and and sting it ain't oh oh and
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: little amen, and he pulling blood, hell, slap it on
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: latin on, got the planting nose and hell all over
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: the bed. And now you are upset because all you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: can think of stop using my wash cloth. Stop using
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: my wash Come on, hip hop staff. Why don't you
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: quit saying stop and start saying start? Why don't you
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: cut to comprove on yourself? Sign down what they're doing
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: on the comprove that's the duplicate it in your bed,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: because if you don't ain't stop using to watch clause,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: maybe you're gonna need to get with your friends and
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: tell them for Christmas and tell them for your birthday
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: guilt what you wanted to gift call down in bed. Yes,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: so you ain't got to keep using gihim same washcloth.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: That's right, that's right. I will want to know what
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: your address is, yes, so I can know that if
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I'm ever visited, to make sure I don't drive my
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: hands as wash I didn't want to know who you are,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: what city you live in. That's right. So when I
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: come to your house, I'll bring a roll of paper tie. Yes,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I want to know what's one of the wash proofs
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: he ben use. That's right. I can make it sure.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I don't mess around and dab the myth one of
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: them wash cloths. Come on, I don't want We're thinking
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: be at your house one day, yea, and think it
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: is okay? And I'm in that trying to get clean.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: And I got that nash all up from the mom. Yes,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I don't want to wash no dog cracks or crevices,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: taking hold watch clothing. He been in there with little

- 1:11:07Speaker 1: know we got to go to great we do here
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: And in closing, I'll say, that's right, that's right. Check
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: your wash clon. Look at him close beyond if you
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: have to pull him apart. Don't you watch cloth learning
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: and things? You're listening to the Steve Ry Morning Show. Well,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: it may not be romantic having a work spouse, that
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: the office can be essential. Okay, al right, it may
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: not be romantic, but your work spouse can be important
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: to you. Okay. Many people have colleagues at the office.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: They are so close to boy, it's going in his
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: man call is my work pou we do our way
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to vote us the world. Many people of colleagues at
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: the office there so close close to that they can
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: be characterized as a quote work spouse, such as work spouses. Um.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Such workspouses offer support and mentorship and also give advice
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: and guidance. Okay, so that's pretty cool, as well as
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: friendship and championship. We're not going there, Steve, I know, so,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: so what other benefits do such work spouses offer. Well,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: they tend to be the person in the office that
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: always has your back and you can always count on. Plus,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: they give you a standing lunch partner okay if you
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: go to lunch with them. Yeah. They're also the person
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: who will keep a watchful eye out for you at
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the office events or Christmas parties if you start embarrassing yourself.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: If you have one question, so do my work spouse? Yes?
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: What is it? Are you wonder lover? Steve? Okay, well come,

- 1:14:09Speaker 1: that an u person. I'm not telling your wife anything.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: I'm telling you you're not acute person. You don't think

- 1:14:23Speaker 1: she know that that had to be one of the
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: reasons she married you. No, it's not she in love
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: with him. He has earning potentially, Okay, that's not people
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: that you're attracted to us. Yeah, but that don't make

- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Holland Dutch, whatever it is, they pay for their own food. Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: nobody ever bought nobody else. They don't. They buy it
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: on this Dutch boy. You go American, they go Dutch.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: You're stupid. Okay, here there, he's stupid. If a criminal.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: Watch me on. If a criminal turns himself in, shouldn't
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: he get the reward money? Cry stoppers? Baby? Ya gonna
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: put it all on his books. He's back. All right,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Here we go, Here we go. If you get addicted
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: to counseling. Uh, how do you treat that one? If
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you get addicted to counseling? You going back? How do
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you treat that? How somebody gonna get addicted to counsel Yeah,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: if you get addicted to it, to counseling, how do
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: you fix that? You don't go to counseling? You know
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Yeah, y'all, that's over, y'all. Here's one look.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Think that if a pig is sold to a pawn shot,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: ain't that a ham hock? Yeah? Yeah, that's a good one.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: I like that one for pig is sold too, ain't
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: that I That's all I'm saying. All right, I'm gonna
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: give y'all one moment. Tell Junior that a cemetery can
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: raise their prices and blame it on the coast to
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: live it, baby, cemetery can raise their prices and blame
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: it on the coast. Living right a row? Hey, right, okay, right,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: you're back, all right. I'm not answering the phone next week.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I'm just telling you are good what you're talking about.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: You know, it's not because you don't have to take
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: the phone. Coster. I like the way you want to
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: about it. Out to the phone, say you say, this
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: is what you're here. Hello, hey June. If a man
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: sell a pig to a punch that I'm telling your
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: pat man you want to nothing to No, No, we're good.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: We're good to the next week. You don't like, you
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: don't like. I don't know if a pig gets sold
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to a paun shop, ain't that a him? All right?
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: That's good, alright, that's a good point. Right. If I
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: write about Dutch people don't pay for other people when
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: they go out. If a deaf person go to court,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: it is no longer a hearing. It's a thing. You
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: gotta understand that, all right, go along. Okay, we got
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: a little bit of time though. I'm gonna send you
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: one to do. Okay, you created one writing last it
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: was Remember he was talking about a German chocolate cake.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: I told him here for German, make the cake. It's
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: a German chocolate cake. If he make it that's a
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Negro chocolate cake. You know what I'm saying? What what call?
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: He ain't German? Well, it's the recipe from what the cake.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: But it has nothing to do with the person's race.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: It was a German that made it. Carla, he got
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: black chocolate cake. I don't understand that he has an
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: African American cake. Me am? I right wrong about this time?
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Go ahead? If a turtle, see Tommy, Ain't that consented? Family?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: Can I say this here? Ain't that consent? Can I
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: say this? Yeah? Yes, you just say, all right, here
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: we go, Here we go, Me and my wife and kids.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: We got we got a dog? Name right? You got dog?
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: I want to ask you if your dog got stuff?
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: To say you ain't that a flea market? I mean
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: it is a yeah, yeah, if your dog got something today?
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: All right, more foolishness on the way. It never stops
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: on this show you're listening to show. Going home for
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: the holidays can be a nightmare for some people. Dealing
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: with bickering family can ruin anyone holiday, but the real
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: horror comes when it's time to go to sleep. Being
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: forced to crash in either your childhood home or a
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: relative place over Thanksgiving, your Christmas, and why they staying
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: it can definitely get awkward, which is why it shouldn't
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: surprise us that a new survey finds at fifty two
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: per cent of adults say they've made up some sort
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: of excuse specifically to avoid uncomfortable sleeping arrangements over the holidays. Overhap,
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: so you should. Yeah, if I can't walk to my
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: kitchen Friday, I have to thank you in my draft.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: There's a problem. Hey, listen to me. Why does holidays
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: have to be for all family? What do you what
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: do you mean? You know, ain't no law say all
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: family got to come over? All family got to be together.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Most of these people in your family that you don't
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: like any more, I'm married and have their own family.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Don't you invite together? The family is coming together. Don't
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: you invite who you want to invite over your house?
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: But you don't like them, and you're gonna have them over.
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: You're trying to tolerate them. But that's the problem for
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: the occasion, for the holiday. I don't do that, and
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: my wife honors that request of me. Don't have nobody
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: in my house on my limited time off that I
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: don't like. Just do that for me? Is that at
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: about people that go over their mom's house, right, or
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: they go over their parents house and they gotta stay
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: and put up with people that they don't like for
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: the sake of their parents. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: that's on your I don't go no where I ain't liked.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: I think here's the biggest problem. Not you, but you
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: may not like who's coming, but you dealing when they
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: get down. I'm going like, I'm cool with the family.
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: It's who the family brain with them. Once again, my
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: wife got a cousin always gonna bring somebody. We don't
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: know who the hell he got. You can't relax, I don't.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: I need to get him to have two spoons and
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: keep clicking them to gel so I know where you're at. Well,
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: when you invite them, do you say plus one? Or
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: you just invite them and they bring someone? They don't
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: let you know. She just come over with somebody new
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: every yea or they are already en route. It's kind
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: of bring huh my my grandmother sister. When she come over,
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: I leave because I ain't nobody telling me about her condition.
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Ain'tbody told me? She h her memory going Yeah, see.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: I don't like. See, I don't like that because she's
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: surprised by everything. She don't remember nobody and nothing. Ever
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: time you speak to her, hey and she said, who
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: who is that? Who is that? Who is that? Right there? Yeah,
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: you don't want to do that? Five hours of that?
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Your plate? What's this on this plate? What is that?
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: That's turkey and dressing that you don't know? To this
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: the reason we're here today. You don't know that, and
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: then you gotta mash it up for you know what.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: I'm like, she go to the restroom, did come back
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: and say, Hi, get to the back froom? You just
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: left out of there. No, I'm not gonna do it
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: for five hours. I'm sorry, I'm not doing that. I'll leave.
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: You ain't got to come over. That's the reason where
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: turkey how you don't know turkey and dressing when you
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: see it? Man? You know who else I don't like.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: I don't like the people that come over to the
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: house and take more food with them than they come on.
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, Like, are you for real? Man?
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: You're just gonna cut out half a pan of dressing?
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: You got a spatchlor? You taking so much dressing? Out
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: using a Spaci dog. But you in that three fold time.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: But do they bring their own aluminum foil in their
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: bad You know what they got these new ziplock bangs
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: just bigger than a gallon. More of the show right
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: after these jams. You're listening to the Steve Show, all right, Steve, Uh,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: this horrible story. The Texas gunman's domestic assault conviction wasn't
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: sent to the national FBI database. And this is really sad.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: This is terrible. Yeah, twenty six people in the Texas
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: church shooting on Sunday, many of them were children, about
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: half of them which were children. Uh. The U. S.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: Air Force says the Texas church shooter's name was never
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: put into the FBI's National Criminal Information Center the n
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: c i S database after he was court martialed for
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: domestic violence. Now, had that happened as it was supposed to,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: shooter David Patrick Kelly would never have been allowed to
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: buy a weapon in the first place. According to federal law,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: Kelly's conviction for domestic assault on his wife and young stepson.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: He cracked the skull of a young stepson. He was violent,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: this man, Yeah, he should it should have been made impossible,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: should have made it impossible for him to legally purchase
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: the military type. Two things are correct here. What's that, Steve,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: This is a mental mental health issue. But with that,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: we still refuse to address the gun law problem. We
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: keep overlooking it, and it's and it's and it's so
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: right down the middle of party lines. No Republican is
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: saying this is a gun law problem. All the Democrats
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: are saying, we got to do something about gun laws.
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: So when President Trump said it's a mental health issue,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: then they heavily went over here and started spinning it
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: into if it's if he wasn't mentally ill. You can't
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: stop a person who's mentally ill from doing stock, but
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: if he didn't have access to that gun, And then
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: the extra spin was somebody, another law abiding citizen, had
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: a gun, was able to chase him down in that day.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Well he didn't get apprehendive, he's dead, which I don't
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: have a problem with myself personally. I think, Steve, what
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: the President is saying that part is irrelevant. The issue
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: is that this man, if he had mental health issues,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: he should have been input into the database and they
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: would not have sold him these weapons. They refused to
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: talk about the gun control in the database is getting
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: all of this together that when is it going to
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: be enough? How many people have to die before they
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: do something? And you're right, And the only time we
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: talked about this is during times like this all too
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: often now because it's it happened so frequently, you know,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: But um, yeah, this is the only time we even
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: bring up the gun laws. It's clear to me that
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: money comes in front of life to a lot of
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: these politicians and country and it's just obvious to me.
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: Let me because this Second Amendment, man, y'all can stop
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: faking with this American right to carry a gun. That
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: ain't what we talk We're talking about the types of
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: guns that you can buy in this country. That's what
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: I'm asking and your ability to purchase what's this thing
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: they're trying to take off the thought rifle that they think,
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: but what is that? It's something that you can buy
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: to put on a rifle that gives it the capability
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: to be a repeat you over and over in Vegas
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: did Yeah, that's gonna help. Why we just can't remove
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: the whole gun period? The question answer to that question.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: But they're not gonna do it because it would affect sales. See,
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: you gotta this is just guns sales, y'all. It's a
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: huge business. Yeah, you're listening to the Steve Steve. I
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: don't know if you heard about this story, but I
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: think you're gonna like it. A Virginia woman who was
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: photographed last month flipping off Donald Trump's motorcade as it
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: drove by her. You heard about this. I mean I hated, Yeah,
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: I hate the way it ended up. But she flipped
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: off President Trump's motorcade as it drove by her while
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: she was riding her bike. Well, the sad news is
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: she's lost her job. Yeah. It was just after three
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: pm on October. Fifty year old Julie B was riding
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: her bike when the President's motorcade, leaving his Trump National
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: Golf Course and Sterling, Virginia, rolled past her. Although she
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: considered cutting between the cards, Julie instead flipped the bird
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: at the vehicles. The spontaneous gesture was caught by news
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: cameras and went viral. The woman said, hey, I just
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: got angry. I lifted my arm and started flipping him off.
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: I started thinking, you're golfing again when there's so much
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: going on, right, now when Julie b Yeah, when Julie
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: be enjoyed her newfound fame for a bit, she did
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: enjoy it for a bit. Uh. It soon came back
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: to haunt her when executives at her job, which oversees
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: government contractors, decided to relieve her of her job. They
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: fired her, pointing out the company social media No, no,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: the company social media policy bans I've seen content. So
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: she put it on her Facebook and all of that
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: they saw it. Can we flip here at the space?
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: A lot of flip It depends on the company's uh
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: policy answer this, No, you're not. We was working with
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: We can flip people are a matter of fact. I
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: don't I like saying it better though, Sammy come of feeling,
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I really really hate that she lost her job. Yeah,
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: that's job, I hope. So she deserves a second chance
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: and another. Yeah. But that's that stuff now, it really
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: is because she it was she was in the moment,
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: you know, his motorcade drove by, and she's like, you're
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: golfing when all this other stuff is going on in
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: this country and in the world. That's what you're doing.
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: She wasn't at work when she did it. Yeah, but
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: she put it on her social media page. Did I
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: just say it wasn't that's not because it went viral. Yeah,
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: that's not cool though, that's not you. That's not you.
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: Can you flip the little finger? Was that a little better? Well,
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: that's not an obscene gesture. But if I flipped a bird,
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: I like for mine to be trembling. Why are you
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: shaking your hand that hard? Yeah? I wanted that firm.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: I wanted a firm to wear. It's a slight tremble
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: to it. It's pretty firm. Hey, the text is thinking
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: about Kaepernick, many thinking about Browns. Don't get and don't
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: let us get both of the quarterback. Y'all should have
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: got you already got the man we we have right
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: the Cleveland Browns the dumbest sports organization. Is it ego
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: or they're just dumb? I just think it's some stupidity. No, no, no,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: it's dune. When you don't get your paperwork in attack
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: that j Carron used to might get Kaepernick, that's a
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: good yeah talk, I mean they change their mind. Well,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: you know, we just lost the quarterback. We need the quarterback.
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: He's hurt, he's out for the year. Oh yeah, we
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: got if we get back to back black black what
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: if they sign him on time Junior, if they signed him,
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: see it right now, he's gonna have surgery today actually Jacksonville.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: But you know what, Bimore, I think that I think
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: the owners up under so much scrutiny right now. He
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: needs to do something like that. They the Texas owner Texas, Yeah,
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: they need to do so some winds talking about YO
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: owner need to do something. When I asked, it's oh
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: and nothing nothing from nothing leaves nothing. Well, I mean
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: Spike Lee said it best. He said that the football
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: team or the owners need the same nerve, the same
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: whatever it took, bravado whatever back in the day when
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: they hired Jackie Robinson to be you know, in the
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: baseball league. They need that same kind of nerve to
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: do that, to hire Colin Kaepernett. Yeah, that was to
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: make him the first one. This is far less, takes
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: far less nerve than what Jackie Robinson did. This requires this,
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: Oh no, this is far less. Jackie Robinson's move was
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: way bigger for everything. All we got to do is
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: stop the hypocrisy that is the NFL, like they this
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: righteous choir boyd organization and you're not. And people can stop.
- 1:39:14Speaker 1: The white football players always be in trouble because it's
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: the largest team. It's the largest team. It's fifty three
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: players on the squad, not to mention travel practice players
- 1:39:26Speaker 1: and stuff like that. So it's fifty three players. So
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: you've got more opportunities. And they're not the best paid
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: sports if you're not starting. Man, if you're on the
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: special special teams and all this here and the practice squad,
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: the guys not making the money you think they making.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: It's just more players. Man. The man deserves to play football.
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: There's no reason why he shouldn't be playing football because
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: he made a statement and it's collusion and they all
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: got together and said we're not gonna do this now
- 1:40:02Speaker 1: as a subpoena. These phone records and Texas and all
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: like this here. Oh it's been to come out. Oh
- 1:40:08Speaker 1: yeah yeah, lacies and gentlemen, we've had a great morning today, Yes,
- 1:40:12Speaker 1: yes we have. Buckle up your seatbelts, have yourself a
- 1:40:15Speaker 1: wonderful time because this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show
