- 1:24Speaker 7: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Go to turn the mouth turn you probably got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn mouth the word of the monod me.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out, you think I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 2: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show today.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I want to just share something with you along your
- 2:20Speaker 2: way to wherever it is you're trying to get to.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You know, everybody has a different definition for success, and
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm not here to tell you what yours should be.
- 2:32Speaker 2: I mean, please pursue whatever you think success is. Aim
- 2:37Speaker 2: as high as you can, though, that's for sure. My
- 2:42Speaker 2: father used to say all the time. I'm sure you
- 2:44Speaker 2: all have heard it in different variations, but he used
- 2:46Speaker 2: to always say, aim for the moon. Just in case
- 2:50Speaker 2: you miss, you'll still be amongst the stars. Just say
- 2:53Speaker 2: that to me all the time. So that always was
- 2:56Speaker 2: in me to aim high. Now he wasn't saying aim
- 3:01Speaker 2: with the intent to miss. He was just saying aim
- 3:06Speaker 2: in case you miss, you'll steal me amongst the stars
- 3:10Speaker 2: if you aim for the moon. But if you just
- 3:12Speaker 2: aim for that first flow window and you miss it,
- 3:16Speaker 2: you know, usually run into some type of wall and
- 3:20Speaker 2: nothing happens. You slither down, you know. In my book,
- 3:23Speaker 2: act like a lady, think like a man. I told
- 3:25Speaker 2: her people that me in love three ways. They profess,
- 3:28Speaker 2: they provide, they protect, and that's the core essence of
- 3:32Speaker 2: a man's love. Well, there's some other PE's in life too.
- 3:38Speaker 2: The number one thing you have to understand about trying
- 3:42Speaker 2: to be successful, and I guess I'll call this the
- 3:45Speaker 2: four p's. I may come up with five along the way.
- 3:48Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm just talking as it's given to me.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So I'm gonna summer start by saying that these are
- 3:55Speaker 2: the four PE's of success that you have to get
- 3:59Speaker 2: ready for. Number one is pressure. A lot of it
- 4:04Speaker 2: is applied by the circumstance of what you're trying to
- 4:07Speaker 2: go for and what you're trying to do.
- 4:10Speaker 8: But.
- 4:12Speaker 2: A lot of it also is self imposed pressure. It's
- 4:16Speaker 2: what you put on yourself to make it. It's a
- 4:20Speaker 2: sense of urgency, it's a sense of necessity. But pressure
- 4:28Speaker 2: is the first thing I want you to be ready for.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And pressure comes in a lot of different forms, but
- 4:34Speaker 2: it's going to be pressured as an old saying that
- 4:36Speaker 2: pressure buster pipe. See, that's why most people turn around
- 4:39Speaker 2: because of the pressure of trying to be successful. I
- 4:42Speaker 2: want you to get it in your mind that it
- 4:45Speaker 2: is going to be a pressure rise situation on your
- 4:49Speaker 2: rise to the top. Pressure, but understand that that is
- 4:54Speaker 2: what it is, is not going to change. That's it.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Prepare yourself, get ready for there to be pressure. The
- 5:04Speaker 2: second thing I want you to understand is when you
- 5:07Speaker 2: receive this pressure, you have to persist. You got to
- 5:12Speaker 2: stay at it. You got to develop a dog illness.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Hez A. There's a song that says, why must I
- 5:25Speaker 2: feel like that? Why must I chase the cat? Nothing
- 5:30Speaker 2: but the dog in me? That's a funny line in
- 5:34Speaker 2: that song, because really I was thinking about it one day.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I was humming it and and it occurred to me, said,
- 5:42Speaker 2: why must I feel like that? Why must I chase
- 5:46Speaker 2: the cat? Nothing but the dog in me? And you know,
- 5:51Speaker 2: now you could take it in the literal sense that
- 5:53Speaker 2: a cat chases the dog, because it's innately it's in
- 5:57Speaker 2: his spirit that cats and dogs are a lot of
- 6:00Speaker 2: times enemies. Now people have pets in him, proving that
- 6:03Speaker 2: if you show love on both sides, they can exist.
- 6:06Speaker 2: And that happens too but naturally innately, when your cat
- 6:11Speaker 2: goes by a dog and your dog don't recognize him,
- 6:13Speaker 2: there's some barking going on. I'm talking about just walking
- 6:16Speaker 2: through the neighborhood or something. So, but the reason that
- 6:19Speaker 2: this dog is so persistent towards this cat is just
- 6:26Speaker 2: cause it's in him. It's innately in him. And what
- 6:31Speaker 2: I'm saying to you, just using that as an analogy,
- 6:36Speaker 2: is that you got to be you got to be
- 6:40Speaker 2: persistent in that. You got to develop some dog in
- 6:44Speaker 2: you now because pressure takes some fighting back. See if
- 6:49Speaker 2: you don't fight back against pressure, pressure buster pipe, So
- 6:52Speaker 2: what you think it'll do to you? Pressure crack walls,
- 6:56Speaker 2: pressure calls explosions. So if you don't fight back to
- 7:00Speaker 2: hold it in, you understand pressure does most people in
- 7:06Speaker 2: the simple thing called pressure, the weight of what it
- 7:10Speaker 2: feels like to want to be successful every single day,
- 7:13Speaker 2: over and over and over and over and over. It's
- 7:16Speaker 2: just too much pressure. People crack. You got to persist.
- 7:21Speaker 2: You have to persist.
- 7:23Speaker 7: You can.
- 7:24Speaker 2: The thought of giving up can come, but you got
- 7:27Speaker 2: to get it out. You got to persist. The next
- 7:32Speaker 2: thing I want you to think about is another something
- 7:36Speaker 2: that I've been thinking about for years and learned for years.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It's called perseverance. To persist means to insist, keyword in
- 7:47Speaker 2: incest and persistence insists you must. You must insist that
- 7:52Speaker 2: this is going to happen. Now, the persist I'm assuming
- 7:56Speaker 2: means it's a proaction. It's some type of proaction that
- 8:00Speaker 2: you go towards it to make it. You know, persist,
- 8:04Speaker 2: You gotta be persistent. You gotta be constantly at it,
- 8:07Speaker 2: insisting that it happens. You gotta be constantly at it.
- 8:10Speaker 2: But the next thing I want you to remember is perseverance.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Perseverance is important. Perseverance means that when you've done your best,
- 8:20Speaker 2: when you've persisted, when you're fighting back against the pressure.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Perseverance simply means I'm going to hang in here. What
- 8:30Speaker 2: if a crack come into pipe, I'm gonna hang in there.
- 8:34Speaker 2: If the pipe bust, I'm gonna keep going. If I
- 8:38Speaker 2: gotta put duct, take mud, whatever I got to put
- 8:42Speaker 2: on this thing. Man, I'm gonna use perseverance. I'm going
- 8:47Speaker 2: to stay with it no matter what. So we're looking
- 8:51Speaker 2: at the three things again. You got to understand that
- 8:54Speaker 2: it's gonna be pressure that you're gonna have to persist.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Keyword in persistence, in insist. You have to insist that
- 9:02Speaker 2: no matter what the pressure is, I'm gonna stay with it.
- 9:05Speaker 2: But then perseverance. If it goes wrong, Man, you got
- 9:09Speaker 2: to get in there and keep fighting. But then, Lord
- 9:13Speaker 2: have mercy. Nothing helps you handle the three pece better
- 9:17Speaker 2: than the fourth p You got to pray. You got
- 9:21Speaker 2: to use prayer. You got to talk to God. You
- 9:24Speaker 2: gotta use faith. You got to have some conferences with
- 9:28Speaker 2: him late at night, early in the morning, in the
- 9:31Speaker 2: middle of the afternoon, when you're on the train, when
- 9:33Speaker 2: you're driving. You got to talk to God. Man, you
- 9:37Speaker 2: got to get yourself some help along the way. Nothing
- 9:39Speaker 2: is bigger than prayer. There is nothing bigger than prayer.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Prayer will help you overcome the pressure. Prayer will help
- 9:46Speaker 2: you stay persistent, and Lord have mercy. Prayer will help
- 9:50Speaker 2: you persevere. Then, mister faux pease, God gave that to me.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I'm passing it on ladies and gentlemen, the time has
- 10:05Speaker 2: come for us to acknowledge the fact that we don't
- 10:09Speaker 2: have to be here, for us to acknowledge the fact
- 10:12Speaker 2: that this is a blessing. It's called the present. It
- 10:15Speaker 2: is a gift from God. That's why they call it
- 10:18Speaker 2: the present. If you are presently living, if you are
- 10:21Speaker 2: living in the present, that's why they call it the present,
- 10:25Speaker 2: because it is a gift from God. Man, I'm here.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I'm just glad got up this morning. Cold plunge, just
- 10:32Speaker 2: dealt with it. I just you know, man, we'll talk
- 10:36Speaker 2: about that in a moment because Junior's not here today,
- 10:39Speaker 2: so I have something to discuss, ladies and gentlemen. Steve
- 10:44Speaker 2: Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry, the Resilient Caller for Real
- 10:50Speaker 2: Nephew Tommy Mississippi Monica. We are here today. I want
- 10:54Speaker 2: to talk to y'all just momentarily. First of all, good
- 10:57Speaker 2: morning everyone, good money. Also would like to save I
- 11:03Speaker 2: haven't talked about it on the radio much, but with
- 11:06Speaker 2: my radio family we do it almost every day. It's
- 11:09Speaker 2: called the Cold Plunge Report, and it's where I discuss
- 11:14Speaker 2: the fact that our cold plunge every morning in forty
- 11:18Speaker 2: eight degree water for six person. I was talking to
- 11:24Speaker 2: my old trainer, Lee hated, and he said, stop doing that,
- 11:29Speaker 2: soul brother. You know, Lee hated. He real old school,
- 11:32Speaker 2: stop doing that, soul brother. That's not our method. That's
- 11:37Speaker 2: a very true statement. It's not. It's not for everyone,
- 11:42Speaker 2: but I will tell you this. It has been a
- 11:46Speaker 2: game changer for me. But to wake up in the
- 11:49Speaker 2: morning from your cozy bed and go and lower yourself
- 11:53Speaker 2: down up to your neck in forty eight degree to
- 11:58Speaker 2: fifty degree water and setting it for six minutes requires
- 12:04Speaker 2: a discipline that I didn't really know I had. And
- 12:09Speaker 2: I thank God for dis lord. And you know, man,
- 12:13Speaker 2: somebody asked me, man, what is your motivation for doing that?
- 12:17Speaker 2: I said, well, the way I look and feel is
- 12:19Speaker 2: the main motivation is for the health benefits. I say,
- 12:22Speaker 2: but let me tell you something. It ain't got nothing
- 12:25Speaker 2: to do with motivation sometimes. You know what cold plunging
- 12:28Speaker 2: has taught me that it is more important to be
- 12:32Speaker 2: disciplined than it is to be motivating.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I can see it.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense, that's what it has taught because
- 12:41Speaker 2: your motivation can vary.
- 12:42Speaker 9: You know.
- 12:43Speaker 2: The motivation is why you do something like you know,
- 12:45Speaker 2: I want to be healthy. I want to feel better.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I want to look better. Okay, cool, But on days
- 12:50Speaker 2: where you go, man, I don't get it. Damn h
- 12:52Speaker 2: I look and you go get in there anyway where
- 12:55Speaker 2: you take your mind. For six minutes, I listen. I
- 12:58Speaker 2: listened to gospel music every more. I listened to two songs.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I listened to Blessing highly favored by the Clark Sisters,
- 13:05Speaker 2: which is exactly five minutes and seventeen seconds.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Okay, time that thing, and then I know I.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Got about forty seconds left. And then other times, like
- 13:17Speaker 2: this morning, I listened to We Are Conquerors by Kirk
- 13:21Speaker 2: Franklin and the family and that boy that saying that
- 13:25Speaker 2: song and big favorite male gospel boy. Yeah boy, let
- 13:29Speaker 2: me tell you something. That big boy in the family
- 13:31Speaker 2: at Kurt Franklin, thank name.
- 13:33Speaker 1: What's his all right?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Steve hed boy?
- 13:37Speaker 8: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 8: hear from the nephews. He runs that prank back right
- 13:42Speaker 8: after this. You're listening hard morning show. It is time
- 13:47Speaker 8: now for the nephew to run that prank back. What
- 13:50Speaker 8: you got for his nephew, that's right here.
- 13:53Speaker 2: This is a truck driver exchange, truck driver exchange. Let's
- 13:59Speaker 2: go get.
- 14:01Speaker 7: Hello.
- 14:02Speaker 5: Hello, I'm trying to refracle.
- 14:03Speaker 4: Yeah, this is Franklin.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Hey, Franklin, how you doing? This is Roosevelt giving you
- 14:07Speaker 5: a call from Human Resources doings?
- 14:10Speaker 4: Hey, Hey, what's up Roosevelt?
- 14:11Speaker 7: What could I do? All right?
- 14:13Speaker 5: Man, I'm calling you from Human Resources. We'll trains and partners.
- 14:17Speaker 7: Where you been?
- 14:18Speaker 5: You've been driving trucks for us for quite some time?
- 14:21Speaker 7: Now?
- 14:22Speaker 10: What are you you?
- 14:22Speaker 5: Six? Six? Six and a half years right now?
- 14:25Speaker 4: Man, I'm eight and a half years.
- 14:27Speaker 5: He's two years shorty, okay, eight and a half years.
- 14:31Speaker 5: How you doing?
- 14:31Speaker 11: Man?
- 14:32Speaker 4: I'm good man, enjoying this road life.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Man.

- 14:40Speaker 5: I wanted to give you a call and is this
- 14:43Speaker 5: a bad time? Can you talk right now? Yeah? I
- 14:45Speaker 5: actually told over man, I have to get something to eat. Man, Okay, okay,
- 14:49Speaker 5: so listen. Let me tell you what's going on here

- 15:03Speaker 5: been pulled out of a pool and uh, some of
- 15:06Speaker 5: you guys are going to be actually driving in different
- 15:09Speaker 5: places now. So for the next six months, within the
- 15:12Speaker 5: next thirty days, here, Franklin, you're going to be you're
- 15:16Speaker 5: you're going to be driving trucks in South Africa, and
- 15:19Speaker 5: you're gonna be or for about six for about six
- 15:23Speaker 5: about six months, you're gonna drive in South africol.
- 15:28Speaker 10: Hold hoo.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Yeah, listen, I ain't got no problem with South Africa
- 15:32Speaker 4: for job chat. Rather, Simond, I'm not going on no
- 15:36Speaker 4: South Africa. I'm a job on the right hand side
- 15:39Speaker 4: of the road.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Man.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I love Africans. I love everything about Africa, but I'm
- 15:43Speaker 4: not going I got a family out here in the
- 15:45Speaker 4: United States of America and you're trying to tell me
- 15:47Speaker 4: I got to go to South Africa.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Come on, man, what type of do you on that?
- 15:51Speaker 5: It's it's fragment. It's part of the job exchange, is
- 15:54Speaker 5: what it is.

- 16:24Speaker 4: type of are you on?

- 16:28Speaker 5: I'm not being part of this.
- 16:30Speaker 4: You pulled my name out of pull like it was

- 16:39Speaker 5: Be a joke.
- 16:40Speaker 7: No, no, so good.
- 16:43Speaker 5: This is a good thing, though, Franklin, I think you're
- 16:45Speaker 5: gonna like it.
- 16:45Speaker 10: And no, it's not a good thing.
- 16:47Speaker 4: What are you telling me?

- 19:34Speaker 4: I ain't going a matter of fact, let me turn
- 19:35Speaker 4: this truck on right now, I'm coming down to see you,
- 19:38Speaker 4: mister Rosevelt.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Okay, well, hold on, now do you know Jermaine?
- 19:46Speaker 4: Yeah, I know Rivers?
- 19:47Speaker 7: But what do you got to do with it?
- 19:49Speaker 5: Okay, let me go on on. Say this, Franklin, this
- 19:52Speaker 5: right here that you're talking to is nephew Tommy and
- 19:55Speaker 5: your boy. River's got me a prank phone call you
- 19:58Speaker 5: you just got by your boy Jermaine us.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Oh that month, Wait till I see rhythm. So you
- 20:09Speaker 4: ain't no roads a though, And I ain't got to
- 20:11Speaker 4: go to South Africa. No, not God, Oh man, this.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Man on the road.
- 20:22Speaker 4: You want to play it? Lis, Well, put some sugar
- 20:25Speaker 4: in the trick, all.
- 20:28Speaker 5: Right, Franklin, Before we leave, man, tell me this. What
- 20:31Speaker 5: is the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve
- 20:34Speaker 5: Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:38Speaker 1: I'm all right, all right?
- 20:41Speaker 5: You are.
- 20:43Speaker 8: Coming up next and is ask the clo. Our chief
- 20:45Speaker 8: love Officer, Steve Harvey is in the building. You're listening
- 20:50Speaker 8: Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 20:53Speaker 8: In entertainment news, our girl Carla is here with today's
- 20:57Speaker 8: music news. Guess what the Grammy nominations are, Carla, Right, we'll.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Talk about it.
- 21:03Speaker 8: Plus the inductees for the class of twenty twenty three
- 21:07Speaker 8: Toy Hall of Fame have been announced, and Kirk Franklin
- 21:11Speaker 8: is mad. Steve, He's mad at his driver Tommy for
- 21:15Speaker 8: giving him a step stool.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We'll talk about.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Oh sorry, you got to get in here.
- 21:20Speaker 11: Be out.
- 21:23Speaker 7: Right now.
- 21:23Speaker 1: It is time to ask the clo.
- 21:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 21:26Speaker 8: This one's from Dunnellen Patterson. Danelle says, I borrowed money
- 21:30Speaker 8: from my cousin and I didn't know she was going
- 21:32Speaker 8: to tell her boyfriend. I saw them out, and he
- 21:36Speaker 8: tried to embarrass me for borrowing money. I paid her
- 21:39Speaker 8: all the money right then, and I cursed her out
- 21:42Speaker 8: for telling him. If they're not married, why would she
- 21:45Speaker 8: share my business with this man?
- 21:48Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know why she was shared, but
- 21:50Speaker 2: that's run of him out. But you know what, people
- 21:52Speaker 2: who do that kill me. You know, every time I
- 21:55Speaker 2: turn around, I got to help her.
- 21:56Speaker 7: Now.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I don't like people like that. That's one of the
- 21:59Speaker 2: reasons why I don't go nobody, ask nobody for nothing,
- 22:01Speaker 2: because I don't want you to talking about no yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 2: he come again, you know. But people who do stuff
- 22:07Speaker 2: for you and their reward is to brag about it,
- 22:11Speaker 2: then that becomes their reward. When in essence, what God
- 22:16Speaker 2: says do is if you help these, even the least
- 22:20Speaker 2: of these, so have you done unto me, then he
- 22:24Speaker 2: will reward you ten times. And I would rather get
- 22:27Speaker 2: the god in reward than help people's reward. But some
- 22:30Speaker 2: people like to give you money in brag that they
- 22:33Speaker 2: did it, so they can, you know, show off you
- 22:35Speaker 2: did the right thing about flexing on them. Give them
- 22:37Speaker 2: all their money right back.
- 22:38Speaker 1: But you know, but he cut he gave her the
- 22:42Speaker 1: money cursed rout.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, don't don't don't. You've learned now,
- 22:51Speaker 2: don't don't go back that way. You find out who
- 22:56Speaker 2: people are when you get in.
- 22:57Speaker 1: A hole, and you're gonna ask somebody, oh yeah.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Sometimes and lesson this for you. Now you know you
- 23:08Speaker 2: in that hole, don't go to that person right there,
- 23:10Speaker 2: because they're not gonna climb down any witch.
- 23:13Speaker 8: Moving on to Bianca in Norfolk, Bianca says, I heard
- 23:16Speaker 8: rumors that my boyfriend had a threesome with two girls
- 23:19Speaker 8: he works with.
- 23:20Speaker 1: When I saw these.
- 23:21Speaker 8: Girls, I went to the doctor to get a check
- 23:23Speaker 8: up because they looked rough. Why do men downgrade when
- 23:27Speaker 8: they cheat? Does cleanliness even matter?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Whoa whoa what? Well?
- 23:37Speaker 1: Else?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Let's go over a couple of things. First of all,
- 23:40Speaker 2: you're going off of a rumor. That's a rumor you said.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You don't even have the facts, so you're operating on
- 23:47Speaker 2: the rumor. Secondly, they look rough to you. Maybe if
- 23:56Speaker 2: it weren't true, maybe he was looking for rough. You know,
- 24:02Speaker 2: you could send us a picture over it and let
- 24:03Speaker 2: you know. Sometimes you want to put them on the
- 24:08Speaker 2: wall and sometimes you want to get put on the wall.
- 24:10Speaker 2: So now you got to go with the rough. Got
- 24:13Speaker 2: to go get some little strong ass looking girl, you know.
- 24:18Speaker 8: Large glutes, large glutes, that's what we're calling bbls.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, thick told man I saw a lady that
- 24:30Speaker 2: I was in a restaurant the other night with my son. Mad.
- 24:34Speaker 2: A lady came in that restaurant and went up some
- 24:38Speaker 2: steps that had a BBL and mad she had put
- 24:43Speaker 2: too much ones, she had put too much on. No
- 24:46Speaker 2: one looks like that, no one, no one. I've been
- 24:50Speaker 2: around women my whole life, and I am an admirer
- 24:54Speaker 2: of women. Now here's the rule of bbls. And I
- 24:57Speaker 2: didn't make this up. I heard somebody say this, and
- 24:59Speaker 2: I think, if you're gonna get a b b L
- 25:02Speaker 2: they have to match your thighs.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so what you mean because big BBL.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Has to be coordinated to your thighs.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Uh huh, okay, okay.
- 25:12Speaker 2: See the key is you can't look have you ever
- 25:18Speaker 2: seen them a lo liip pop? You can't look like
- 25:22Speaker 2: a lollipop.
- 25:23Speaker 1: You can't look like a you know, but they coordinate.
- 25:27Speaker 2: One stick stuck up under that ball. You can't do that.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Your butt can't come off like it's coming off that
- 25:34Speaker 2: stick at the bottom of a sucker that it's off.
- 25:39Speaker 8: But they coordinate. They coordinate the bbls to their waistlines,
- 25:43Speaker 8: not their legs. And that's the issue. You're saying, because
- 25:46Speaker 8: you know they have a tiny, tiny waist and then
- 25:48Speaker 8: the you know, the big butt.
- 25:50Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, yeah, you can have too much and I've
- 25:58Speaker 11: just seen too Okay, all right, I've never heard that.
- 26:01Speaker 2: I'm not against me, man, I'm not against it. But yeah, no,
- 26:05Speaker 2: oh no, oh no oh no, I'm telling you right
- 26:07Speaker 2: now you can do too much. You can do too much.
- 26:09Speaker 8: The way you look crazy, okay, cry and coordinated with
- 26:14Speaker 8: your legs, not your waistline.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Damn your waistline.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Ah, all right, Well, you can't look.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Like a toothpick stuck in the olive. You can't look
- 26:25Speaker 2: like nothing on an auditor track. Yeah, you see what
- 26:30Speaker 2: I'm saying. Thats what you can't look like.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 2: It has got to match your thighs, all right, all.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Right, Moving on to Selena in Maywood.
- 26:40Speaker 8: I was standing in my driveway talking to my neighbor's
- 26:43Speaker 8: husband when she got home from work. He skirted on
- 26:46Speaker 8: across the yard. As she got out of the car,
- 26:49Speaker 8: she asked him what me and him had to chat about.
- 26:51Speaker 8: I told my husband about it, and he said I
- 26:54Speaker 8: should go over and clear the air. Was I wrong
- 26:57Speaker 8: for talking to him?
- 26:59Speaker 2: Well, no, you weren't wrong for talking to him. But
- 27:01Speaker 2: she's jealous, envious, suspicious and your husband, Hey, look man,
- 27:07Speaker 2: so we can have a cool thing. Just hey, I was.
- 27:10Speaker 2: I went and told my husband. You asked what it was,
- 27:13Speaker 2: and I just want you to know we was just
- 27:14Speaker 2: worn't talking about anything. But the husband looked a little
- 27:17Speaker 2: bit suspicious. The husband saw the wife pull up. He
- 27:25Speaker 2: knew what was on his mind. See what was on
- 27:29Speaker 2: his mind talking to the neighbor and his body position,
- 27:33Speaker 2: and he might have thought his wife would recognize that
- 27:36Speaker 2: in him, and he tried to scoot on over that
- 27:38Speaker 2: open her car door right quick. But what you and
- 27:40Speaker 2: her over there talking about? Yeah, because over there automatically Okay,
- 27:48Speaker 2: Now what he should have did was okay, let's say
- 27:50Speaker 2: his wife named Debbie. Let's say his wife named Debbie.
- 27:54Speaker 2: Debbie pulled up and got it. Debbie, come here, Come here, Debbie, Debbie,
- 27:58Speaker 2: come here, tell her what you just said. And then
- 28:02Speaker 2: you know, you know, a conversation here talking about Yeah,
- 28:06Speaker 2: her and Miles, her husband. Her and Miles was talking
- 28:10Speaker 2: about having this thing. And I was letting him know
- 28:12Speaker 2: the way we do it over here, and brought her
- 28:14Speaker 2: into the conversation. But when you try to run over
- 28:17Speaker 2: there so she can't talk to the neighbor. Yeah, the suspicion.
- 28:23Speaker 2: You got to get slicker in this fellow.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Drop the knowledge clo.
- 28:27Speaker 8: Yes, God, you've had you was in the driveway right across.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Good thing is, I ain't never had no fine neighbor,
- 28:40Speaker 2: So I never had a fine neighbor ever.

- 33:46Speaker 8: Kirk said. That's what Kirk says, Yeah, I know Jesus.
- 33:49Speaker 8: That's when Kirk tells the driver to move the stool
- 33:52Speaker 8: out of the way. Kirk tried to jump up and
- 33:54Speaker 8: get in the suv, but he slid right back.
- 33:56Speaker 5: Out.
- 33:57Speaker 1: But he did make it. He did making now on
- 34:01Speaker 1: the second attempt, if.
- 34:04Speaker 2: You need to try your truck, you need that damn
- 34:09Speaker 2: steps too.
- 34:10Speaker 7: Though.
- 34:12Speaker 2: Now the new driver saw that, So Tommy, how does
- 34:18Speaker 2: you're not going to do it? That I ain't had
- 34:24Speaker 2: the long jump into no truck.
- 34:26Speaker 1: So and then he slid.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Right on the back out of it, and that you
- 34:37Speaker 2: got to have that dough in your hand and slang
- 34:39Speaker 2: that with you.
- 34:41Speaker 1: I told you that's a lot.
- 34:45Speaker 2: At the kirk before you mess around, hit yourself without
- 34:49Speaker 2: trying to do it. Bring the step to so you
- 34:51Speaker 2: don't keep doing what you're doing because the war show
- 34:57Speaker 2: or something. Then you jump up in at that chair
- 34:58Speaker 2: and you slide down there. People go, hey, you'll know

- 35:24Speaker 2: I knew that, Hey, sheerly should I used to. I
- 35:27Speaker 2: used to drive Jane Cleveland.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Oh did she?
- 35:29Speaker 9: Now?
- 35:30Speaker 7: Did you?
- 35:31Speaker 10: Did you?

- 35:57Speaker 8: End his campaign came as a surprise to his camp
- 36:00Speaker 8: paying staffers, who only fought out after watching his interview
- 36:05Speaker 8: on Fox TV. I only found out. Yeah, they found out. Yeah,
- 36:09Speaker 8: they found out on Fox.
- 36:12Speaker 2: That's the Republican way. That's how they do it. Yeah,
- 36:17Speaker 2: that's how they The Republicans don't have no meeting with people.
- 36:20Speaker 2: They go on Fox and tell it.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah.
- 36:23Speaker 8: Well, voters had questions about Scott's marital status after he
- 36:26Speaker 8: refused to reveal his girlfriend's identity, leading some to question
- 36:30Speaker 8: whether he had a girlfriend at all.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Well, Tim Scott ended.
- 36:34Speaker 8: The mystery after the last week's GOP debate in Miami
- 36:37Speaker 8: when he introduced his girlfriend on stage. All right, that's
- 36:41Speaker 8: how you do it, Senator Scott. She was a white
- 36:45Speaker 8: woman named Mindy Knos, Mindy Nose.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Where she called from a white girl named Mindy come on.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Now, according to uh huh, yeah you want you want
- 37:01Speaker 1: to see her right here?
- 37:03Speaker 2: And I'm dropping out the race boy. And you know
- 37:07Speaker 2: what it is, man, because they was questioning his sexuality.
- 37:10Speaker 2: That's the reality of it. They can stop, Yeah, that's
- 37:14Speaker 2: what all it is. Man, Stop dancing around the issue.
- 37:18Speaker 2: They were questioning his sexuality. And in the Republican Party,
- 37:23Speaker 2: there is no way they can let that walk with
- 37:26Speaker 2: their hypocritical self. They are hypocrites over there. So they
- 37:30Speaker 2: got to act like they ain't gonna do it now
- 37:32Speaker 2: now we we we you know, that's that's just well,
- 37:36Speaker 2: I'm glad I ain't say that, but that's that's what.
- 37:40Speaker 8: I have.
- 37:40Speaker 2: One that was finn to come out that was not
- 37:42Speaker 2: gonna be radio open believe I myself. Yeah, but that's
- 37:46Speaker 2: what's happening with the brother. I don't know how you
- 37:48Speaker 2: thought it was gonna be president in damn way.
- 37:51Speaker 8: Why do you say that you didn't think he had
- 37:53Speaker 8: a chance. Well, his numbers were low in the polls though.
- 37:58Speaker 2: The publicans crazy. Do y'all really think Republicans in this
- 38:04Speaker 2: country will nominate a black person? Are you kidding me?
- 38:10Speaker 2: Do you all know the real real Republicans in this country.
- 38:15Speaker 2: You think they will nominate a black person, they still
- 38:20Speaker 2: party there? Do you know who they really are?
- 38:25Speaker 10: I do?
- 38:26Speaker 2: You can forget that Tim Scott or Richard Steele or

- 55:28Speaker 1: I have switched the TV.
- 55:31Speaker 8: Off on him and he stopped, turned it back on
- 55:34Speaker 8: and laid down in the bed to finish washing watching
- 55:37Speaker 8: his show. If I did that to him when he
- 55:40Speaker 8: wants sex, he started a shouting match with me. He
- 55:43Speaker 8: and I have had talks about him doing things without
- 55:45Speaker 8: me asking him to do them, but he won't take
- 55:49Speaker 8: the initiative, he said, when I ask him or tell
- 55:52Speaker 8: him to do it, it makes him mad, so he
- 55:55Speaker 8: does it his way, so I'll shut up. It causes
- 55:58Speaker 8: me to do things to myself, and I'm tired of
- 56:00Speaker 8: doing all the heavy lifting when I have a spouse
- 56:03Speaker 8: that does whatever he wants to do. Why is this
- 56:05Speaker 8: such a big problem for him to do things right
- 56:07Speaker 8: the first time. Why doesn't it bother him when I
- 56:10Speaker 8: ask him to help out around here? Why is he
- 56:13Speaker 8: so resistant to me initiating sex? What's wrong with him? Well,
- 56:17Speaker 8: I think you said it in the letter. Clearly he
- 56:21Speaker 8: behaves like a child. He's selfish and immature. He doesn't
- 56:24Speaker 8: understand or care about the rewards he would get if
- 56:28Speaker 8: he puts you first and try to keep you happy.
- 56:30Speaker 8: You heard the saying happy wife, happy life, a mature
- 56:34Speaker 8: man gets that, A smart man knows that he acts
- 56:37Speaker 8: like he doesn't even like you.
- 56:38Speaker 1: I mean, he would be so crazy as.
- 56:40Speaker 8: To turn the TV back on during sex after you
- 56:43Speaker 8: turned it off during sex, and then he gets mad
- 56:46Speaker 8: when you ask him to initiate it. Sometimes, Such a baby,
- 56:50Speaker 8: such a little boy. I'm surprised that you still want
- 56:55Speaker 8: to be with him at all the way he treats you.
- 56:58Speaker 8: Why won't he help you, you ask, because you've let
- 57:00Speaker 8: him get away with what he's been doing for so long.
- 57:03Speaker 8: He has no incentive to do better. I mean, you
- 57:06Speaker 8: gotta stop letting him treat you like this. You've got
- 57:09Speaker 8: to change it up or you, guys won't make it
- 57:12Speaker 8: very long. This doesn't look good, Steve.
- 57:16Speaker 2: I'm just gonna tell you right now on top of
- 57:17Speaker 2: this letter, y'all ain't gonna make it. Y'all ain't gonna
- 57:21Speaker 2: make it. I've seen this before. This is divorce proceedings.
- 57:24Speaker 2: As we read, these are what's called divorce proceedings, meaning
- 57:31Speaker 2: this is the type of behavior that proceeds a divorce.
- 57:37Speaker 2: You all are not together, you ain't trying to be together.
- 57:41Speaker 2: There is no compromise here. Everybody in this relationship is unhappy.
- 57:48Speaker 2: The Steven Shirley. My husband behaves like a child when
- 57:52Speaker 2: I ask him to do things around the house. Now
- 57:54Speaker 2: listen to me. Some of this stuff you wrong about, lady,
- 57:57Speaker 2: some of this stuff, but I can show you how
- 58:00Speaker 2: to correct it. But I know y'all ain't gonna like this,
- 58:03Speaker 2: but I'm just gonna tell you. Now, watch this right here.
- 58:06Speaker 2: He gets home from work and he takes his clothes off,
- 58:09Speaker 2: and he leaves him on the floor. Then he walks
- 58:11Speaker 2: around the house in his boxes to bedtime. That's not childish.
- 58:17Speaker 2: That's just a man doing what he want to do. Okay,
- 58:20Speaker 2: he just doing what he want to do. He'd have
- 58:22Speaker 2: been in the work clothes all day, he probably don't
- 58:24Speaker 2: like his uniform or job, and come home, be free
- 58:28Speaker 2: and walk around the boxes home. Now here's the danger
- 58:32Speaker 2: of this letter. You have never said how long y'all
- 58:34Speaker 2: been married. I could help you better if I knew that.
- 58:36Speaker 2: But ain't nothing wrong with what he just did. If
- 58:40Speaker 2: I ask him to pick up his clothes off the floor,
- 58:43Speaker 2: he kicks them into his side of the closet, or
- 58:47Speaker 2: he'll put them on top of the washing machine. He
- 58:50Speaker 2: bypasses the hamper to take them all the way to
- 58:53Speaker 2: the laundry room by a front door lady. Ain't that
- 58:57Speaker 2: way they gonna end up if he put him into Hample.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Ain't a hample gonna eventually go to the laundry room.
- 59:05Speaker 2: So what you're tripping for right there? But I'm gonna
- 59:08Speaker 2: tell you what it is about him. And I was
- 59:11Speaker 2: gonna wait till we come back, but i'ma give you
- 59:13Speaker 2: all the teaser. This is in radio call TSL or
- 59:18Speaker 2: T T sentence. Yeah, time spent listening.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Hang on, Stave.
- 59:24Speaker 2: This is because you are nagging him. And I will
- 59:29Speaker 2: tell you what nagging is when we come back. And
- 59:32Speaker 2: I don't care if you don't like it, sure, and.
- 59:35Speaker 1: You know I don't. Steve Harmer, we'll have a part
- 59:40Speaker 1: We'll have part two of.
- 59:41Speaker 8: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 59:44Speaker 8: Today's Strawberry letter, subject he doesn't do it right. We'll
- 59:48Speaker 8: get back into it right after this.
- 59:50Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show.
- 59:53Speaker 8: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 59:57Speaker 1: The subject is he doesn't do it right.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: Here's a couple that's in this are called divorce proceedings
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: and in this letter, it means these are the things
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: that proceed a divorce. This is what happens that leads
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: to divorce this couple. Right here, she says, he doesn't
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: do it right. Let us go quickly. My husband behaves
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: like a child when I ask him to do things
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: around the house. He gets home from work, he takes
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: his clothes off and he leaves them in the floor,
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: then waits. Then he walks around in his boxes to bedtime.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: Like I said earlier, there's nothing childish about that. He
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: don't like his work uniform. He just want to walk
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: around in his draws. I got that. If I ask
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: him to pick up his clothes off the floor, he
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: kicks them into his side of the closet, or he'll
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: put them on top of the washing machine. He bypasses
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: the hamper to take them all the way to the
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: laundry room by our front door. What's wrong with that?
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: You tell the man to pick it up, he kick
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: him to the closet. I don't want him kicked in
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: the closet. He picks them up, takes them all the
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: way to the laundry room, put them on top of
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: the washingman sheet. Now guess what you're mad at because
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: he done bypass the hamper. Well, ain't that where the
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: hamper going? Eventually that hamper always finds his way to
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: the laundry room. But you know why he not doing
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: it the way you want him to do it and
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: how you want him to do it, because he in
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: his mind you are nagging him. And that's exactly what
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: you're doing. And I will tell you why it's called nagging.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Nagging is your timing and your tone. That's what's called nagging, ladies.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: It's your timing and your tone. He your husband, He
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: ain't your baby. So if you see your man, you
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: know your man take his clothes off every day when
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: he come over it. You know he like walking around
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: here his drawer, that's what he liked to do. Pick
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: your clothes up off the floor. He kicked him in
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: the closet. Don't kick your clothes in that closet. He
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: picked him up and take him to the washing machine.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: What you want, damn, Just let the man kick his
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: clothes off and take him to the washing machine. What
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: difference do it make? But it ain't what you want. Now,
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: that's where you're wrong. The rest of it is on
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: him though, same with picking up behind himself in the kitchen.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: The few times that he helped me out with the dishes,
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: he washed everything that was good and then put it
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: in the dishwasher with the dirty dishes that we're in. Now, okay,
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: he's stupid. Now see I said, See, lady, I'm gonna
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: tell you where you're wrong. But he is stupid. He
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: washed everything and put it in dish washing with the
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: dirty dishes that we're in there. When I asked him
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: to do it, he doesn't do it right on purpose,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: because I'm telling you, ma'am, it's the timing and the
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: tone that you are using with this man, and this
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: is his way of rebelling. I promise you we are simple.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: This is his way of rebelling. Same thing with sex.
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: If I initiate sex and he don't want to do it,
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: he won't do it the way he know I like it. Well,
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: let's get to your women too, because when y'all give
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: us sex and y'all don't really want to, it ain't
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: the same. We just don't care at all. Yeah, we
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: just don't care. See that's difference.
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: See see, you asked us for sex and we don't
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: want to have it. And then you come in here
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: and get it. Yeah, I ain't gonna do it the
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: where you want to. I told you I ain't want to.
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: See now, you got attitude. We on the other hand,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: if you just give it to us at you ain't
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: gotta want to, you ain't gotta feel like if you
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: just give it to us, we don't care. I knew
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: it wasn't your best. Your best. He is pretty good though,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: yeah you know, Yeah, y'all's even if it's it ain't
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: up to quality, It's still good though. It's like pizza
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: ud in that box in the morning. Yes, lord, Same
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: thing with sex. If I initiate your sex, he won't.
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: He doesn't wan't to. He won't do it the way
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: he know I like it. He does it his way
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: so he won't have to stop watching TV. And it's
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: a turn off to me. I have switched the TV
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: off on him, and he stopped, turned it back on
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: and laid down in the bed to finish watching his show.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: See I told you not, now, baby, Hold up, I'm
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: watching something. You make the man have sex? He gonna
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: watch TV? Why y'all having sex? That's trifling? You reach
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: over and turn the TV off. He stopped, turned TV
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: back on. Now, he laid out, now you had your
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: little sex, let me going back to watching this show.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: Y'all not gonna make it. Y'all ain't gonna make it,
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: because once again, he's stupid. If I did that to
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: him when he want sex, he started shouting match with me,
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: he's stupid again. How you gonna holler at the purse
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: you trying to have sex with? How you think that's
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: gonna work.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: Out for you?
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Any baby? Let's go and get into something. I don't
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: want to know the hell you mean. You don't want
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: to cool?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: Hey, bruh, bruh. If you want to make sure you
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: don't have sex, mess with a moment's moved because they
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: have to be in the mood. They not like us.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: We just have to be in the room. They have
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: to be in the moved. See there's a big difference.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: It's two double o's in each word. But we have
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: to just be in the room. They had to be
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: in the movie. He said, when I asked him to
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: tell him to do it, it makes him mad. You
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: know why. It makes it mad because he feels like
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: you naggative, miss your tone and your timing. Lady, he
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: tied of you, naggat him, and he don't like you
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: no more. End of letter.
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: FM on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: Letter podcast on the free iHeartRadio app now coming up
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: at forty six minutes after the hour. You guys can
- 1:05:59Speaker 8: be married, don't live together in the same house. We'll
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: talk about a couple who does just that right after this.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. All right, guys.
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: So, back in September, comedian and actor Jay Moore married
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: Jeanie Buss. We all know Genie Buss because she's the
- 1:06:16Speaker 8: president of the La Lakers. This marriage is interesting because
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: Genie and Jay not only don't sleep in the same bed,
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: they don't even live in the same building unit. Okay,
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: Jeannie lives on the third floor of the building, Jay
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: lives on the first floor, and some I don't know,
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: some random couple lives in between the two of them
- 1:06:36Speaker 8: on the second floor. So here's a question, how about
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: you and your partner. Do you spend every moment together
- 1:06:43Speaker 8: whenever you can as much as you can, or do you,
- 1:06:46Speaker 8: you know, do your best to give each other, as
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: much space as possible, as often as possible, and could
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: you you know, how would you feel about living apart
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: in all of that?
- 1:06:54Speaker 9: But they'll get a lot across the street that's for sale.
- 1:06:57Speaker 9: If I get that lot cross the street. If I
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: can get that lot, you got building only by twenty
- 1:07:03Speaker 9: twenty four, stay cross street from Jackie nie kids. Kay,
- 1:07:08Speaker 9: why do you need that much? You are so stupid.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: The peacefulness, the time to yourself.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Oh, they're getting on your nerves.
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: Huh wait, I know Jackie wants to fly away, you
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: get Yes, I know she wants to go.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: She might chipend on the lot.
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I got the dumb.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know everybody needs me time. Me time
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: is critical. Yeah, you got to have some time to
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: yourself where you don't have to worry about what your
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: spouse is thinking, wanting, or saying. Because I do things
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: when I'm around my boys that I will not do
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: around her.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: She can't see me, of course, Yeah, she can't see me.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Ladies, what I'm finished saying, you're not gonna believe coming
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: out of my mouth.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: The whole idea of marriage is to be together. But
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: what's over.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Not all the time, but together all the time. Yeah,
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: where I go?
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: Here you go.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Like Marjorie now is talking about. She told me yesterday, Steve,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: I want to take up golf so we can play
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: golf together. I went up to that golf course and
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: told everybody up there, my wife, come up here. You'll
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: schedule this book.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: So you want that to be just your thing, not
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: a week.
- 1:08:37Speaker 9: Yeah, I don't want golf course. Two of the questions
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: eighteen holes with my wife?
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: What hell?
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: Game?
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Golf A hard game. I already can't play. Now I
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: know she can't play. How do I I don't know.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: Okay, guys, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: a guy on social media needs some advice Steve. He's
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: been invited to a wedding, but not to the bachelor party.
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: We'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: All right, So Steve Eddie on Steve Harvey FM. Right,
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: I was invited to a good friend's wedding, but I'm
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: not invited to the bachelor party. It seems to include
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: a lot of mutual friends, and I'm kind of mad
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: and hurt about this, Uncle.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Stephen Morning Crew.
- 1:09:22Speaker 8: I want to participate in all the bachelor party festivities
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: with special guests Cinnamon, Glitter, Olympia and them.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: If you know what I mean? Should I bring this
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: up with the groom or just let it go and
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: focus on the wedding.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Well, see, Eddie, you got to figure out now. You know,
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: everybody got some friends that they can do this with.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Everybody got some friends where they don't do that with them.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: I have.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: It's certain people, man, like my boy Radcliffe. He'll minister
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: and I'll need of him seeing all this.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: He can't.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: All right, don't need to see that that that ain't
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: gonna Yeah, And what it is, Eddie, is just something
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: about you, something in your character that does not fit
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: into what they plan for the bachelor party. And you
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: gotta be honest with yourself. Maybe they trying to spare
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: you from it, like Eddie didn't say what he did,
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: you know, or Eddie, maybe you wanted them dudes where
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: you tell your wife everything and they know it. So
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: they got to keep Eddie away from this hell, right,
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: you know? So it is it's a flaw in you, Eddie.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: You gotta recognize what it is. It's not that they
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: don't like you, man, Maybe they trying to protect you
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: because they know how you are.
- 1:10:41Speaker 9: You know, don't want ed ass around, right? Yeh?
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: I know, and that's what it is.
- 1:10:48Speaker 9: Eddie.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: You can't touch the dancers, not Eddie. Ain't no Edie
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: grab people touching people. Now I just lost it. See Eddie,
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: you we told you you can't touch you dance.
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: Their names are Cinnamon, which is your super name, Glitter which.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Was mine, Olympia and them world why.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: Keyword?
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: Oh?
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I know when they call you Olympia, I know what's
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: happened to me.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Coming to the stage.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: Yes, olympiall.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: All right, So that's what it is, all right. I
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: think we have time for another one.
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: Steve Ashley on Facebook says, my neighbor lets her cat
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: roam around the neighborhood. The cat is sweet and friendly,
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: but it often comes into my yard, digs up plants
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: in my garden and leaves unwanted gifts behind. I've spoken
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: to them politely about it, but nothing's changed. How would
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: you suggest I handle this without damaging my relationship with
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: my neighbor?
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Get a pit bull?
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that will help. That would do it?
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Ass over here again, scratch up some moat yard and
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: watch this here.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Come on, Yeah, that would do it.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: No, let's get your pit bull. I don't want it,
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: and then not to hurt the cat, but not a cat.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: See the pit bull. He ain't going over there any
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: other suggestion to be detrimental to the cat's health. You know,
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: you can't put no no spray out or nothing like that.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: You know, kill the cat and nothing like that. It
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: ain't worth it, you know. But the pit bull will
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: discourage the cats. You ain't got to go that big Tommy,

- 1:19:23Speaker 2: So we got Indiana kind of has a special place
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: in my heart a little bit because it was my
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: very first road GIG ever out of Cleveland. Oh really,
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: I had come down seventy one south to Columbus, Ohio
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: and got on seventy west.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: And did you know how you got GP y'all get lost?
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: Y'all need to.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: Okay, Well it was done back then, it sure was,
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: you know. Can I tell you another fact? I have
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: never ever used GP yes on my car ever?
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Really, so you know where you're going every single time
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: you get in a car.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: Well, it's no way. I'm getting in my car and
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: I don't know where I'm going. It is no way.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: That's never been a new location of some place of
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: business or something that you.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: I got to know where I'm going. I can't sit
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: up here and read the screen and you left her. No,
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: I have to know where I'm going. I can't do that.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: Well I don't know. First of all, I got a driver,
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: so yes, problem. But I'm just saying, when I do drive,
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: I never use GPS because I have to know where
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: I'm going. That's I can't. It's just the old way
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: of doing stuff. I can't get that out of my head.
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: It's like I don't go nowhere without cash.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: My kids be talking, Dad, you don't need to say that.
- 1:20:52Speaker 2: Well, it don't matter what what are you finna? Do
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: You have bodyguards but I have people who are paid
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: to hurt you. You don't want to do this to me?
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: Just stop. I ain't through. I don't want no problems.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: But then I don't want.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Well Indiana's story anyway.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: So I drove to Bloomington, Indiana. It was my first
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: gig ever. On the road I left home no iron,
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: I just did. I didn't know how to thank it through.
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: And I'm and that. I get to the hotel that
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: the agent told me, I was standing there, which was
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: a red roof end. I went up to the counter
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: and the counter said, your roommate is already in the room.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: So I said, okay, I need roommate, but I ain't
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: you know, I can't argue. This is my first gig.
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: I figured this how I go? So I go up
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: there and knock on the door. A black dude opened
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: the door and it's j Anthony Brown. What And I said, hey, man,
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: how you doing? I said, my name is Steve Hargis. Yeah,
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: what's up?
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: Man?
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: I said, I'm your roommate. Not as soon as he
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: opened the door, I noticed it's two beds in there,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: but it's stuff all over every bed. It was a
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: long cord crossed the room. It was a sewing machine
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: in there. I said, what is this? I said, hey man,
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: I'm your room man. He said, no, no, no, no no.
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: I don't do roommates. Man, I don't do roommates. I'm
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: a headliner. I don't do roommates. I said, well, bro,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you. But the dude
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: told me that I have a roommate and you and
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: you here, so he said, now, man, you got to
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: get your own room. I said, hey, bro, that can't happen.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I ain't got no money. Janthony Brown reached in his
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: pocket gave me thirty dollars. He said, hey, man, go
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: go downstairs, get yourself a room, and don't and don't
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: let your white folks tell you you got a roommate.
- 1:22:44Speaker 2: No more learn that. I said, okay, bo, I ain't
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: no nothing. So I went downstairs. Now got my own room.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: And I'm up there and it's getting close to showtime.
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: And I got about three hours and I started pulling
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: my stuff out of my bag, all my clothes wrinkling.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: I remember that, I mean this dude, room. I saw
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: ironing board, sewing machine. So I went back up there
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: and knocked on the door. He said, hey man, what's happening.
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: I told you I don't do room. Mat say, hey man,
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: come up here. I got the room, I said, but
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: can I borrow your iron? I say, because I ain't
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: got no iron. He said, hey, little man, how you
- 1:23:18Speaker 2: out here on the roads? They ain't got no iron?
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: I said, okay, you know, but I normally didn't let
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: nobody talk to me like that. But I saw this
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: dude was more advanced than the game than me, so
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: I took it, and he said, man, use it.
