- 2:04Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now for it only Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:11Speaker 1: show man steady trying to be about the business. To y'all,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm I'm, I'm I'm doing all I can. But you
- 2:20Speaker 1: know what's crazy in the efforts that I make. I
- 2:24Speaker 1: can do more. And my father used to tell me
- 2:28Speaker 1: something when I was growing up. He says, son, when
- 2:32Speaker 1: you've done your best and you've done all you can,
- 2:39Speaker 1: sit still for a second and just do a little
- 2:42Speaker 1: bit more. Always remember that, he said, when you've done
- 2:46Speaker 1: the best you can and you can done all you
- 2:49Speaker 1: can think of. He say, sit still for a minute
- 2:52Speaker 1: and do some more. And you know what I've discovered
- 2:55Speaker 1: in my life, always have a little more. I ain't
- 2:58Speaker 1: ever just out out out completely. I can't take another step.
- 3:03Speaker 1: There ain't another breath in me, There ain't there ain't
- 3:05Speaker 1: another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:14Speaker 1: just do a little bit more. And that that. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times that's helped me get
- 3:20Speaker 1: over the top. You know, I was watching a documentary
- 3:24Speaker 1: about people climbing or Mount Everest and how difficult climbing
- 3:27Speaker 1: Mount Everest was and how they have on the hill,
- 3:32Speaker 1: uh something called like a death zone or killing zone
- 3:36Speaker 1: where the majority of people run out of oxygen and
- 3:39Speaker 1: they have to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's
- 3:44Speaker 1: right in view of the summit. You can actually see
- 3:48Speaker 1: the top of Mount Everest from there. But it's but
- 3:52Speaker 1: it's that little bit that's left that's this most difficult.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Now that I forgot all the reasons why they said
- 3:58Speaker 1: most people don't make it from there, and more people
- 4:01Speaker 1: have lost their lives in that area. I don't know
- 4:03Speaker 1: what it is, but the people that make it to
- 4:07Speaker 1: the top of Mount Efforts. They all had to go
- 4:11Speaker 1: through that same zone or that same area, but they
- 4:16Speaker 1: had a little bit more that allowed them to get
- 4:19Speaker 1: to the top. You know, a lot of people have
- 4:22Speaker 1: had accidents up there trying that. So I'm not even
- 4:24Speaker 1: really sure if Mount Everest analogy is a good one.
- 4:29Speaker 1: But let's just break it down a little bit more.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Let's just talk about life. There's a poem I learned
- 4:36Speaker 1: back when I host Pledge, and it's called don't Quit.
- 4:39Speaker 1: The authors are unknown, but the poem was called don't Quit,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and I had to memorize it. I memorize this point
- 4:52Speaker 1: when I was eighteen nineteen, but the poem stayed in
- 4:56Speaker 1: my head. I'm gonna try to remember it right now
- 5:00Speaker 1: say it for you. But there's a stanza in it
- 5:02Speaker 1: that talks about how many a fellow has turned about
- 5:07Speaker 1: when he might have won had he stuck it out.
- 5:11Speaker 1: So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow, you
- 5:14Speaker 1: may succeed with another blow. You know. That's a stanza
- 5:18Speaker 1: that always sticks out in my mind. I'm gonna say
- 5:22Speaker 1: I can memorize on a whole of right. Okay, this
- 5:24Speaker 1: is the point. There's the author is unknown the name
- 5:26Speaker 1: of the pointments. Don't quit. It goes like this. If
- 5:30Speaker 1: I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum it up.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So here we go. It says when things go wrong,
- 5:35Speaker 1: as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems
- 5:38Speaker 1: all uphill, when your funds are low and your debts
- 5:43Speaker 1: are high, when you want to smile, but you have
- 5:47Speaker 1: to sigh, when cares are pressing you down. A bit,
- 5:51Speaker 1: rest if you must, but don't quit. For life is
- 5:55Speaker 1: queer with his twist and turns, as every one of
- 5:58Speaker 1: us must sometimes learned, And many a fellow has turned
- 6:02Speaker 1: about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
- 6:07Speaker 1: So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow, You
- 6:10Speaker 1: may succeed with another blow. Often the gold is nearer
- 6:16Speaker 1: than it seems to a faint and a faltering man.
- 6:21Speaker 1: And often the struggler has given up when he might
- 6:24Speaker 1: have captured the victor's cup, and he learns too late,
- 6:28Speaker 1: when the night came down, how close he was to
- 6:32Speaker 1: the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out. It's
- 6:39Speaker 1: your silver tent of your clouds of doubt, and you
- 6:43Speaker 1: never can tell how close you are it. Maybe kneel
- 6:47Speaker 1: when it seems afar. So stick to the fight when
- 6:52Speaker 1: your hardest hits, when things seem worse, that you mustn't quit.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I remember it because I had a special method of
- 7:01Speaker 1: helping you remember stuff back then. But I remembered it
- 7:04Speaker 1: at that point, right. Dad has kept me. You know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: if we often talk about scripture and everything, and I don't,
- 7:11Speaker 1: I don't see how I could live without it. But
- 7:13Speaker 1: every now and then, man, somebody has a writing. God
- 7:16Speaker 1: puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a message, man,
- 7:20Speaker 1: that can help people. I use every motivational tool that
- 7:23Speaker 1: I possibly can to climb this letter of success or
- 7:26Speaker 1: try to be the best father and the best husband
- 7:28Speaker 1: I can be. I've done a lot of changing over
- 7:31Speaker 1: the years, and so have you. But change is necessary
- 7:34Speaker 1: in order to grow. If you don't make changes, folks,
- 7:37Speaker 1: you can't grow. I was a young man on my set.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I kept looking at him, and a sharp little young
- 7:43Speaker 1: dude just on my set, and he had these dreads,
- 7:48Speaker 1: and I mean they were they were super long, man,
- 7:52Speaker 1: they will well below the middle of his back. I
- 7:55Speaker 1: mean it was just long. And he kept talking to me,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and he kept talking to me and talking to me,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and I know somebody gonna take this to roll away,
- 8:02Speaker 1: but this is my story. So you know, feel how
- 8:04Speaker 1: you want to feel. Already know the emails is coming.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You're talking about it. So your man kept talking to him,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and I said, hey, man, you know you do You're
- 8:12Speaker 1: here a huge self, a favor in the business you
- 8:15Speaker 1: and if you got a hair cut, you would do
- 8:17Speaker 1: yourself a huge favor. I said, your images everything, man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: I said, you keep stopping me in the hallway to
- 8:22Speaker 1: try to tell me what you're doing, what you are,
- 8:25Speaker 1: but all I see is your hair. I keep trying
- 8:27Speaker 1: to figure out what you're doing with all that hair. Man,
- 8:30Speaker 1: Now you can feel how you want to feel. But
- 8:32Speaker 1: I'm like an employer. I employed people. So when I'm
- 8:37Speaker 1: walking through the hallway and I try to think of
- 8:39Speaker 1: you traveling me with me, and you're sitting in a
- 8:41Speaker 1: meeting with me, I try to imagine you in your
- 8:44Speaker 1: suit sitting there talking business with me. And so, just
- 8:47Speaker 1: like other employers are, I'm just having a real story
- 8:50Speaker 1: with you. So I said, man, you are to consider
- 8:52Speaker 1: cutting your hair. He said, mad mister Harvey, I've been
- 8:56Speaker 1: growing his hair side a little boy. I said, how
- 8:59Speaker 1: holder you now, he said. I said, well, how long
- 9:02Speaker 1: you want to hang on to what you was when
- 9:04Speaker 1: you was a little bored? You know, if you started
- 9:06Speaker 1: growing your hair when you're a teenager? I mean you're
- 9:09Speaker 1: twenty eight now? What we and? I said, so let
- 9:11Speaker 1: me help you understand something. Let me let me ask
- 9:13Speaker 1: you something. What does it do for you? He s,
- 9:17Speaker 1: it's just who I am. I said, so you your
- 9:21Speaker 1: have He said, no, no, but it's a part of me.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on too.
- 9:28Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I feed that. But if
- 9:35Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 9:37Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
- 9:41Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
- 9:44Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
- 9:47Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
- 9:49Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
- 9:52Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I'm
- 9:56Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I've had to
- 9:58Speaker 1: change change just necessary to grow. You can't be all
- 10:05Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep hanging on
- 10:08Speaker 1: to all you was. That don't make no sense. How
- 10:12Speaker 1: do you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You
- 10:17Speaker 1: can't stay here and go there? Do you understand that
- 10:21Speaker 1: if you want to go over there, you must remove
- 10:24Speaker 1: yourself from right here? Oh? I got right here is comfortable,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
- 10:33Speaker 1: the shade is. Over There's where the fruit is. Over
- 10:37Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is over there is where
- 10:42Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
- 10:45Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there.
- 10:49Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 10:52Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was. Changes, growth is necessary.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Let's go show, ladies, gentlemen, boys, girls, This is it
- 11:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. What you think it was? We're here,
- 11:13Speaker 1: we're live, We're off the chain. I mean, jeez, how
- 11:19Speaker 1: can I tell it to you? We're the absolute best? No,
- 11:23Speaker 1: really we are. What's up showing? Steve? Yeah? Right down,
- 11:31Speaker 1: there's too much energy to do that. That ain't me?
- 11:34Speaker 1: So that what's happening? Call of what's going on? Who
- 11:39Speaker 1: you exhausted? Huh? Myself? I would definitely ignorant. Opening good
- 11:44Speaker 1: morning crew with up well happy said junior boy? Morning?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Uh and uh what should I call it Tommy from now?
- 11:56Speaker 1: Scheduling conflict? Tomas? Oh you know, man, I've never really
- 12:03Speaker 1: cared for Thomas Miles. Wow, but that's his name, Steve, Okay,
- 12:09Speaker 1: you want him to change his name? Now you're all
- 12:12Speaker 1: growing up? It was no, I see it's not. It's
- 12:14Speaker 1: not the name, perse it's the persona of the name. Yeah,
- 12:19Speaker 1: Thomas Miles. It's very difficult to deal with this is
- 12:23Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Nephew Tommy is so damn stupid. So
- 12:30Speaker 1: where's the middle ground, Shirley, you got nephew Tommy, you
- 12:32Speaker 1: got Thomas Miles. Where it can't be tom in the middle?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Two Miles, where's the dude that I played golf with? It?
- 12:46Speaker 1: He's in the middle. That ain't nephew Timmy to be
- 12:49Speaker 1: out there. He'd be a little more serious, but then
- 12:51Speaker 1: he know he can't play, so he. Don't take yourself
- 12:53Speaker 1: too serious. Thomas or the Tommy that takes us out
- 12:57Speaker 1: to dinner and pay What what do y'all call him? Thomas?
- 13:02Speaker 1: He's Thomas. He's just a differentia. No, Thomas Miles. When
- 13:07Speaker 1: you say the whole name, you get all that. How
- 13:10Speaker 1: about t Yeah, I can't call him t is the
- 13:19Speaker 1: middle ground. Yeah, man, that's the dude. That that's that's
- 13:22Speaker 1: that's when you will like, that's what a lot of
- 13:24Speaker 1: people like. Youbody likes Thomas. When I was in the
- 13:35Speaker 1: hospital and he came with that, that was t Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I was so hard. That wasn't Yeah, that's yeah, No,
- 13:44Speaker 1: that that's the one you like. Thomas. I can deal
- 13:48Speaker 1: with nephew Tommy, but in various short doses. But Thomas
- 13:53Speaker 1: like the radio show and then that's it. Yeah, I do.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Was asked for four hours and then I got to go.
- 13:59Speaker 1: But Thomas Thomas Miles, man, I can't do. And we
- 14:03Speaker 1: all stand together today. Thomas. You're saying Thomas and Thomas
- 14:10Speaker 1: Miles are two different That's what I'm saying. Two Miles,
- 14:17Speaker 1: Thomas Miles. That's the one that everybody's like, Oh he's Thomas.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Every damn thing. Thomas and Thomas Miles, they're they're kind
- 14:27Speaker 1: of the same. Thomas Miles A w two. All right, listen, Okay,
- 14:32Speaker 1: we'll be back with something funny. We're gonna talk about vacations.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It's not a lot of people's minds right now. We'll
- 14:38Speaker 1: be back at thirty two after the hour Tea Miles.
- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, Americans may
- 14:48Speaker 1: not take all their vacation days. Everybody on this show
- 14:53Speaker 1: can can agree to that. Example, one person, I'm not
- 14:58Speaker 1: talking about you this time. Oh no, yeah, yeah, you
- 15:07Speaker 1: ain't doing that. Let me hear it. A week, vacation days,
- 15:13Speaker 1: sick days, whatever he could take off, he does it
- 15:16Speaker 1: is he sick on the sick days? Uh? This golf week? Yeah,
- 15:22Speaker 1: we're talking about you. Americans may not take all their
- 15:26Speaker 1: vacation days, but that does not mean that we don't
- 15:29Speaker 1: spend a lot of time thinking about those vacation days.
- 15:33Speaker 1: New research revealed that Americans spend about two hundred and
- 15:36Speaker 1: eighty four days of their life dreaming about being on vacation.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And we spend more than that's a lot of time.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Then we spend more than a hundred and thirteen hours
- 15:46Speaker 1: every year thinking about being on a beach somewhere. And
- 15:50Speaker 1: your vacation picks on social media. People don't like those.
- 15:54Speaker 1: They do not stop up. Yes, yes, yes, they make
- 15:59Speaker 1: people jealous. They ring out that one of that food.
- 16:04Speaker 1: The study found that every day the average person sees
- 16:07Speaker 1: vacation pictures on social media. That makes them mad, Okay,
- 16:11Speaker 1: that's probably why. Yeah, I know nobody cares. That's probably
- 16:18Speaker 1: why thirty six percent of Americans admit they put those
- 16:21Speaker 1: vacation picks on social media to show people just how
- 16:24Speaker 1: great their lives are. So, Steve, you and your wife
- 16:28Speaker 1: Marjorie take wonderful vacation. And we know you guys ball
- 16:33Speaker 1: until you fall when you go on vacation. But we
- 16:35Speaker 1: what we want to know is how do you vacation
- 16:37Speaker 1: on a budget? Before you got to where you are now,
- 16:40Speaker 1: how did you Well? I just need to know, you
- 16:42Speaker 1: know how much we're talking about. If you tell me
- 16:44Speaker 1: what the budget is now, things I can recommend. Let's
- 16:49Speaker 1: do two thousand dollars, two thousand dollars for a family
- 16:53Speaker 1: of four. Okay, bad chucky cheese. Yeah, yeah, well we
- 17:07Speaker 1: ain't going like that. Okay, all right, here we go.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Let me change that. We're gonna have to drive somewhere.
- 17:15Speaker 1: We have to make the gas budget be the how
- 17:19Speaker 1: much Okay, let me how much it costs phillip at
- 17:21Speaker 1: average tank right now? So we need we need to
- 17:27Speaker 1: stay one gas tain't going and one gas tain't coming.
- 17:32Speaker 1: We're talking about a hundred twenty dollars out the budget.
- 17:35Speaker 1: You know, man, we gotta stay within one tank. So
- 17:38Speaker 1: we're talking about it's got to be within three hundred miles. Now,
- 17:44Speaker 1: if we're gonna stay overnight, we gotta get in economically
- 17:48Speaker 1: feasible accommodation. These are stuff like comfort in sweets that
- 17:56Speaker 1: reason you I would recommend comfort in because they had
- 17:59Speaker 1: a free breakfast. See that's saved money now, you know.
- 18:03Speaker 1: And they've got free WiFi. So you gotta gotta take
- 18:06Speaker 1: this consideration. And if you stay a comforty and you
- 18:08Speaker 1: get points, I'm just working with this two thousand, so
- 18:11Speaker 1: everybody's room and fifty dollars a night. Would you say
- 18:14Speaker 1: that's fast? Sixty? So you need just two rules for
- 18:17Speaker 1: the kids, you and the wife and one for the
- 18:19Speaker 1: kids with a connector dough and lead a damn dolly
- 18:24Speaker 1: so they don't burn that damn hotel down. And then
- 18:27Speaker 1: you got other issues. So we got two rules that
- 18:32Speaker 1: let's say seventy dollars five dollars a night. That's a
- 18:34Speaker 1: hundred and fifty two nights. We're looking at three hundred
- 18:38Speaker 1: dollars in rooms. How many nights we're gonna do two nights? Well,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm trying to I'm trying to get it together. First,
- 18:43Speaker 1: we got to stay somewhere. We're gonna do three fifty
- 18:46Speaker 1: four rooms, and we got a hundred twenty on gas.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Were about five fifty oh fifty something like that. All right,
- 18:54Speaker 1: now we got let's just say we got Now, okay,
- 19:00Speaker 1: that's a nice amount of money. Did we eat? We
- 19:06Speaker 1: should make some sandwich? Yeah, pack a cooler full of
- 19:10Speaker 1: sandwich because you're driving, But make sandwiches that stick, peanut
- 19:15Speaker 1: butter and jelly being a whole lot of ham. Now
- 19:21Speaker 1: peanut butter and jellous sandwiches permental spread and sandwich. Abody
- 19:27Speaker 1: to give you damn what? You don't want this all
- 19:29Speaker 1: we got? You want to eat uk skins and water.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You gotta get something in you that swear punched skins
- 19:43Speaker 1: and water familiar with all this? Just what we we
- 19:46Speaker 1: got hot blood press. By the time we take bagging
- 19:49Speaker 1: and porn skins and drink a bottle of water, you
- 19:51Speaker 1: ain't even gonna know your hut damn that. But at
- 19:56Speaker 1: least they quick crying. All right, now, we've got us
- 20:02Speaker 1: a little something to eat. The kids. It stopped up
- 20:11Speaker 1: from the hospital. Go we gotta have some kind of
- 20:15Speaker 1: activities now, now we're going to six Flags with a
- 20:19Speaker 1: day pass for everybody, or we're going to the zoo
- 20:23Speaker 1: where you can really entertain kids and keep it on
- 20:27Speaker 1: the budget. All We're going to a state park. Pull
- 20:34Speaker 1: up at it where we can barbecue out there and
- 20:36Speaker 1: then let the kids run till they drop in open
- 20:40Speaker 1: field and you gotta put your grill. What you only
- 20:44Speaker 1: gonna stay there and watch well on the other side
- 20:46Speaker 1: away from the car. Then you run your kids to
- 20:50Speaker 1: the car to get stuff. Dad helps zap the energy
- 20:53Speaker 1: out of their hand and to give them something to do.
- 20:57Speaker 1: You can see the car from your barbeque grill, but
- 21:00Speaker 1: way across the fields, back and forth across that field
- 21:04Speaker 1: by six trips. And every time you send him say
- 21:07Speaker 1: hell you, thank you having phone because you're running in
- 21:17Speaker 1: that field trip back, They answered walking, I welcome to
- 21:29Speaker 1: put responsibility on all right, See, we gotta go, Thank
- 21:34Speaker 1: you though. Listen coming up next it is t Miles
- 21:37Speaker 1: and the nephew tell me with run that prank back.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Guys and
- 21:49Speaker 1: Entertainment News. Some celebrities who work with Fox Entertainment. Are
- 21:53Speaker 1: disgusted with Fox News. But first the nephew is here
- 21:57Speaker 1: with run that prank back? What you flf PC? Yeah
- 22:04Speaker 1: yeah you did lf PC funeral pitt you're coming. Everybody
- 22:09Speaker 1: need one. It's right there on here. Okay, what's the
- 22:13Speaker 1: title of elf PC funeral? Get your picture now? Pick
- 22:19Speaker 1: out the one you want? You know what you know
- 22:21Speaker 1: there's so many people while you're alive. Yeah, that's running
- 22:26Speaker 1: that prank. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a Darwin Darwin.

- 23:45Speaker 1: Picture company, Funeral Picture company. And what we do is
- 23:49Speaker 1: we come out and take your picture and we actually
- 23:52Speaker 1: keep it on file. That way, when you do pass away,
- 23:55Speaker 1: we have your picture for your programming. We have a
- 23:57Speaker 1: nice picture for you. I'm not dead, right and now
- 24:01Speaker 1: you're not taking no picture of me? Who is this again?
- 24:04Speaker 1: My name is Frank? Frank? Okay, Frank, do you mean
- 24:06Speaker 1: to tell me y'all taking pictures of people before they
- 24:10Speaker 1: die just so you could have them picture? Oh? Found,

- 24:24Speaker 1: like that? Who the hell signed me up for something
- 24:26Speaker 1: like that? I'm not quite sure, but we're trying to
- 24:29Speaker 1: schedule where we can come out beginning of next week
- 24:32Speaker 1: so we can get your picture taken next week week
- 24:34Speaker 1: after you get picture when I'm dead, you're not taking
- 24:37Speaker 1: no picture of me before that that. That don't sound right? Uh, sir?
- 24:41Speaker 1: Don't you want to have a good picture on your program?
- 24:43Speaker 1: So you're not taking the picture of me for no
- 24:46Speaker 1: junal arrangements that I'm not dead yet. I don't understand that.
- 24:50Speaker 1: What the hell is this about? Nobody who signed me
- 24:53Speaker 1: up for it? Then tell me that much? Uh? So
- 24:55Speaker 1: I don't have the actual person listen here on who
- 24:58Speaker 1: signs you up? But I do have the I'm bringing
- 25:00Speaker 1: you are Darwin, Mr Darwin. So I didn't sign up
- 25:04Speaker 1: for that. I'm not taking the pictures. Uh. You guys
- 25:08Speaker 1: running around taking pictures of people before they that just
- 25:11Speaker 1: to have a good picture on fail man that I
- 25:15Speaker 1: ain't never heard of the like that? Sir. Okay, sir,
- 25:18Speaker 1: are you? I mean we have your address here? Are
- 25:21Speaker 1: are you? Are you available? No? I'm not available. I'm
- 25:24Speaker 1: not available at all to take no picture for funeral
- 25:28Speaker 1: that I'm not even dead yet. I don't. I don't
- 25:30Speaker 1: get that. That that sounds like a much of and
- 25:32Speaker 1: I who the hell gave you my number? That's what
- 25:35Speaker 1: I want to know. So I'm not quite sure. But
- 25:37Speaker 1: one thing we have to do is we have to
- 25:39Speaker 1: follow through with our jobs. So what we're gonna have
- 25:41Speaker 1: to do is we have to come out there and
- 25:43Speaker 1: take a picture. So I don't wanna, you know, create
- 25:47Speaker 1: a problem, but I have to get a picture of
- 25:49Speaker 1: you by next week. Oh it's gonna be a problem
- 25:52Speaker 1: because you're not getting a picture me for no funeral arrangement,

- 26:26Speaker 1: I work for l PC, Sir, I worked for f
- 26:29Speaker 1: PC FCC. Mike, you're not taking no picture of me.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Don't come over here Friday talking about no guy. Piston

- 26:43Speaker 1: stud got company you worked for. I ain't never heard
- 26:46Speaker 1: of nobody taking no picture before they died. I got
- 26:49Speaker 1: millions of pictures in here for that program. And when

- 27:11Speaker 1: you familiar with with Glinda? That's my wife? What what
- 27:15Speaker 1: you're about to say? Now? I want all I wanna
- 27:18Speaker 1: do is say this man. I just want to say, Glinda,
- 27:20Speaker 1: the one that got me to prank phone call you.
- 27:23Speaker 1: This is nephew Tommy baby from the Steve Harvey Martin Show. Huh,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I'll beat up boy, Yeah, a little shy little I
- 27:37Speaker 1: ain't never let know. Bit. It's like there's some FDC
- 27:41Speaker 1: funeral kick Well, man, I said my New year resolution.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I was gonna cut back on drinking. But you got

- 28:26Speaker 1: Y't have lost the half of y'all head with that there, buddy, Man,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I gotta ask you something, man, darm and tell me
- 28:33Speaker 1: this here. Man, what's the baddest and I mean the
- 28:35Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land, Steve Harvey Morning Wick
- 28:40Speaker 1: up Show? Buddy, you gotta get your picture, lord, Okay,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you know when we get off the ad to day.

- 28:51Speaker 1: and it just save you know what I'm saying. And
- 28:56Speaker 1: here is the funeral picture that you know you POSTU
- 29:00Speaker 1: you're gonna take my I'm gonna put a down on
- 29:02Speaker 1: like I'm in the hospital with the back as used that.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I don't want to see that. Thank you, Thank you
- 29:14Speaker 1: so much. Carla. You said you have baby fever. We
- 29:17Speaker 1: talked about that yesterday when you got back from your
- 29:19Speaker 1: Bahamas vacation. Okay, well you're gonna love this story. Congratulations
- 29:25Speaker 1: to forty three year old. No hold on, I ain't
- 29:27Speaker 1: saying nothing call but you. But you are though even
- 29:32Speaker 1: with saying that. Now, my husband told me we can
- 29:36Speaker 1: get another dog something like that. But I do, I do.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I got baby fee but well, three year old. Um.
- 29:46Speaker 1: You know. Eva Longoria, she just gave birth to her
- 29:49Speaker 1: first child, so congratulations to her was a baby boy.
- 29:52Speaker 1: She and her husband announced their good news on Spanish
- 29:55Speaker 1: language social media. Their son is Santiago Enrique Austin. He
- 30:00Speaker 1: weighed almost seven pounds. Eva wrote, we are so grateful
- 30:04Speaker 1: for this blessing and um upcoming celebrity baby watch, of
- 30:07Speaker 1: course is Cardi B coming up next? Does she is
- 30:10Speaker 1: do real soon? I think next month or something. Yeah,
- 30:15Speaker 1: So coming up at the top of the hour, some
- 30:17Speaker 1: celebrities who work with Fox Entertainment are disgusted with Fox News.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to so guys, celebrities who
- 30:29Speaker 1: work with Fox Entertainment are voicing their disgust at working
- 30:33Speaker 1: under the same umbrella as Fox News. Family Guy creator
- 30:37Speaker 1: Seth McFarlane. Uh, it's business like this that makes me
- 30:41Speaker 1: embarrassed to work for this company. That's what he said. Also,
- 30:45Speaker 1: Steve Leviton, creator of Modern Family, tweeted, let me officially
- 30:49Speaker 1: joined Seth McFarlane and uh, saying I'm disgusted to work
- 30:53Speaker 1: at a company that has anything whatsoever to do with
- 30:57Speaker 1: Fox News. This bull blank is the opposite of what
- 31:02Speaker 1: Modern Family stands Where. I knew you'd like that, Steve. Uh, Yeah,
- 31:06Speaker 1: it's it's the exact opposite of what Modern Family stands for.
- 31:09Speaker 1: He later said he would leave twenty first Century Fox
- 31:12Speaker 1: after his show, and also Trump's former campaign manager, Corey
- 31:16Speaker 1: Lawn Lewandowski, was a guest on Fox News Tuesday afternoon
- 31:21Speaker 1: along with Zach pin Canis, a former senior d n
- 31:24Speaker 1: C advisor. The two got into a very heated argument
- 31:29Speaker 1: after uh Lewandowski dropped the want Want mom about the
- 31:35Speaker 1: disabled immigrant child being separated from her mom and sent
- 31:38Speaker 1: to a detention facility. Take a listen to this. I mean, look,
- 31:42Speaker 1: I read today about a ten year old girl with
- 31:45Speaker 1: Down syndrome who was taken from her mother and put
- 31:47Speaker 1: in a cage. I read about a they just say,
- 31:50Speaker 1: want want to a ten year old with down anything
- 31:54Speaker 1: you worked up? But then when you absolutely you, Shirley,
- 32:00Speaker 1: you have taken from the country. We have board country
- 32:05Speaker 1: stolen from their mothers in this country, your parents and
- 32:10Speaker 1: understands just they understand that you crossed the border. Ly, sir,
- 32:16Speaker 1: how commit you are taken away from She has a
- 32:19Speaker 1: down center that was taken from all that country. And
- 32:24Speaker 1: that's pretty low, man, You know that's pretty low. That's
- 32:27Speaker 1: ignorant on so many levels. You know, if a comedian
- 32:31Speaker 1: did Dad Boys done, You're done. Kathy Griffin is out
- 32:39Speaker 1: of work right now because she had a chopped off
- 32:42Speaker 1: version of Donald Trump's head That wasn't out of line,
- 32:45Speaker 1: of course it was, of course it was. But she
- 32:48Speaker 1: out of work. But hold up, man, you're you're a politician. Yeah,
- 32:53Speaker 1: used to run this campaign, used to run his campaign.
- 32:57Speaker 1: He's a women, sir, Are you want want want a
- 33:00Speaker 1: child with Down syndrome? How? And he would see that's
- 33:05Speaker 1: political anger? How dare you see? That? Ain't hood? It
- 33:09Speaker 1: ain't whod ain't gonna come with something? So I want
- 33:13Speaker 1: to you know what, Man, I'm gonna say something right now.
- 33:15Speaker 1: I thank God, I really do, man, I really do.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Thank God. And this is not a joke. I thank
- 33:20Speaker 1: God for raising me the way I was raised. I
- 33:23Speaker 1: thank God that that I can recognize levels hood. Anger
- 33:28Speaker 1: ain't always best, but it's damn show help for that time.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It could have easily been what it could have been. Answer,
- 33:37Speaker 1: It could have been whatever you say. Yeah, don't I
- 33:42Speaker 1: mean seriously, because you're sitting there trying to work it
- 33:45Speaker 1: out in his head. But you're going, wait a minute, man,
- 33:48Speaker 1: hell did you just say? Don't wrong with you? All?
- 33:55Speaker 1: That would have been in order? Yeah, yeah, under the circumstances,
- 34:00Speaker 1: for sure. Yeah, that's why the celebrities are outraged if
- 34:03Speaker 1: Fox News. But how could you be Yeah, you're right,
- 34:06Speaker 1: And how could you be so cold and heartless? How
- 34:11Speaker 1: these kids are separated from their folks, from their part
- 34:13Speaker 1: if you come over here illegally and you cross the wall,
- 34:17Speaker 1: you lose all your right what Yeah, all right, it's
- 34:21Speaker 1: time to get caught up on more of today's national news. Steve,
- 34:24Speaker 1: please introduce Miss Dan, ladies and gentlemen, miss and Trup.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Thanks Steve. Surely everybody out there, this is and Trop
- 34:31Speaker 1: with the news and good morning. Well we'll see if
- 34:33Speaker 1: he changes his mind again. But as of yesterday afternoon,
- 34:36Speaker 1: President Trump has rescinded his administration's policy of separating illegal
- 34:40Speaker 1: adult immigrants from their children, and he did it by
- 34:43Speaker 1: executive order, the very thing he claimed for week said
- 34:46Speaker 1: he didn't have the power to do. Anybody with a
- 34:48Speaker 1: heart would feel very strongly about it. We don't like
- 34:50Speaker 1: to see families separated. At the same time, we don't
- 34:53Speaker 1: want people coming into our country illegally. This takes care
- 34:56Speaker 1: of the problem. However, Trump also makes it clear that
- 34:58Speaker 1: his zero tolerance of pursuing is coming into the US
- 35:01Speaker 1: illegally is going to continue, except that now he says
- 35:03Speaker 1: families will be detained together. Trump's family separation policy had
- 35:07Speaker 1: drawn not only bipartisan criticism in this country, but also
- 35:10Speaker 1: international condemnation. Even he got a condemnation from members of
- 35:15Speaker 1: his conservative Christian base. Also, several airlines, United Frontier and
- 35:19Speaker 1: American had asked the White House not to use their
- 35:21Speaker 1: plans to transport any separated migrant children. In fact, American
- 35:25Speaker 1: Airlines as issued a statement yesterday saying it did not
- 35:28Speaker 1: wish to profit from the separation of families. State attorney's
- 35:32Speaker 1: generals in New York and Massachusetts say they're suing the
- 35:34Speaker 1: Trump administration over a plan to expand a form of
- 35:37Speaker 1: health insurance that critics say has been rife with corruption.
- 35:41Speaker 1: The Trump Labor Department issued rule this week opening health
- 35:43Speaker 1: insurance markets to association health plans. Those allow businesses to
- 35:47Speaker 1: band together for workers insurance. However, critics say that millions
- 35:50Speaker 1: of people could eventually shift to these and these plans
- 35:53Speaker 1: instead of the Affordable Care Act, and most would receive
- 35:56Speaker 1: less coverage and have fewer safeguards when medical costs are
- 35:59Speaker 1: not reimbursed. This suit comes as Trump continues to chip away,
- 36:02Speaker 1: of course, at Obamacare. Looks like the rate of teenagers
- 36:06Speaker 1: who are sexually active is on the way down. According
- 36:09Speaker 1: to the latest Youth Risk Behavior survey from the Centers
- 36:12Speaker 1: for Disease Control, high schoolers are we're having sex at
- 36:15Speaker 1: declining rates last year and using condoms less. Also, as
- 36:19Speaker 1: for drug use, the data shows it over the last
- 36:21Speaker 1: ten years, use of illicit drugs like cocaine and heroin
- 36:25Speaker 1: is down considerably by the young while fourteen percent of
- 36:28Speaker 1: high schools admit misusing prescription opios. You know, that's a
- 36:31Speaker 1: big problem in this country. By the way. In elementary
- 36:34Speaker 1: school in Richmond, Virginia has changed its name to Barack
- 36:38Speaker 1: Obama Elementary. That was a six to one vote the
- 36:41Speaker 1: school board deciding to rename the school. Since up till now,
- 36:44Speaker 1: it's been named after a Confederate general J. E. B. Stewart.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Richmond was the capital. You may your a member of
- 36:49Speaker 1: the Confederacy during the Civil War. And finally it's here summertime, summertime,
- 36:55Speaker 1: some some summertime, summertime, summertime, some some summertime, summertime, summertimes.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I'm some summertime, summertime, summertime, sum summertime, summertime at summertime.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Back with more detainment to taste during the topics, Twain
- 37:09Speaker 1: Misses After the Hour and the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:12Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay. In
- 37:17Speaker 1: sports news, uh well, Tommy, um, here's a running race
- 37:21Speaker 1: story just for you. Uh. Former NFL star Torell oh
- 37:29Speaker 1: Terrell Owens, I should say, may have last played in
- 37:32Speaker 1: an NFL game and back in two thousand and ten.
- 37:35Speaker 1: But he's forty four years old. He appears to be
- 37:38Speaker 1: faster now than he was when he was drafted back
- 37:41Speaker 1: in Wow, did you see him run a blazing four
- 37:47Speaker 1: three in the forty dash? Did you see him? He's
- 37:51Speaker 1: forty four? Asked me. Okay, he's never ran a four three?
- 37:59Speaker 1: Hold up, asked me the question again. I just said,
- 38:03Speaker 1: did you see Terrol when he ran a four three
- 38:06Speaker 1: in the forty yard dash? Did you see that? T
- 38:09Speaker 1: Just are you serious? Yeah? Yeah, and he's forty four.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Still he got a mold on him now. But what
- 38:17Speaker 1: you ask Tommy, Well, the history of our show, Tommy
- 38:25Speaker 1: was the runner. Is the runner. That's what t word was.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Tommy has been dethroned. The runner on this show's name
- 38:31Speaker 1: is kill Spates A K A jr. Un. Still ain't
- 38:36Speaker 1: no damn running to me, But go ahead, what's out?
- 38:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I know what a full three
- 38:41Speaker 1: feel like. That's all I'm saying. Why are we talking
- 38:44Speaker 1: to you do. I hear a rematch? Okay, well we
- 38:51Speaker 1: know who ain't man man? All right? Uh ter? His
- 38:58Speaker 1: official time in the pretty at the NFL Combine twenty
- 39:02Speaker 1: two years ago was four point six five. Is that
- 39:05Speaker 1: how you say that? Steve? Four point six five? Earlier
- 39:08Speaker 1: this month, before he announced that he wouldn't be attending
- 39:11Speaker 1: the NFL Hall of Fame ceremony even though he is
- 39:14Speaker 1: a member of class. Yeah, why why isn't he gonna?
- 39:19Speaker 1: I was wondering about this. Why. Oh yeah, because he's
- 39:24Speaker 1: trying to try out for the forty niners. That's what
- 39:26Speaker 1: it is. Okay, that's cool. Yeah, so that that's okay, Okay,
- 39:29Speaker 1: cool because you gotta take care of business and you're
- 39:31Speaker 1: still gonna get inducted. But there's one of the greatest
- 39:33Speaker 1: honors of football players entire career here, and yes, and
- 39:44Speaker 1: you know what, Steve, it seems like, you guys at
- 39:47Speaker 1: the story I was watching the video, it seems like
- 39:48Speaker 1: they had two two people timing him. Julio Jones from
- 39:52Speaker 1: the Atlanta Falcons time to me at four point three,
- 39:54Speaker 1: and then someone else time him at four point four.
- 39:57Speaker 1: So yeah, yeah, for a wide receiver for four years old,
- 40:06Speaker 1: if you got a running back running the full three.
- 40:08Speaker 1: You got anybody running foe three's they're really excited. So
- 40:12Speaker 1: then the forty niners he has a chance of playing again. Then,
- 40:15Speaker 1: is what you're saying, Perhaps we don't exactly good attitude.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Al Right, coming up next in about ten minutes at
- 40:24Speaker 1: thirty or four after, we're gonna do another version of
- 40:27Speaker 1: Asked Steve. Okay, we'll be right back. You're listening to
- 40:31Speaker 1: Stow Alright, Steve, the crew is going to ask you
- 40:35Speaker 1: some random questions again. You know how we do it,
- 40:38Speaker 1: and you love this section. It's segment it's called time
- 40:41Speaker 1: uh to ask Steve. Okay, you're ready. Alright, alright, here's
- 40:46Speaker 1: the first question. What is absolutely hilarious as long as
- 40:50Speaker 1: it's not happening to you, that's what I want to
- 40:52Speaker 1: anybody falling down stipeople have fallen down steps looks, they
- 41:02Speaker 1: look surprised, and they'd be trying to stop to fall,
- 41:08Speaker 1: but every time they get ready to stop something, they're
- 41:11Speaker 1: already flipping. So that's gone. So it's just a series
- 41:16Speaker 1: of attempted stops that never worked. Till you get to
- 41:20Speaker 1: the bottom of them steps, never know what's going to
- 41:23Speaker 1: come out. Of your mouth falling down, other people falling down.
- 41:29Speaker 1: What's the most unethical thing you've ever been asked to
- 41:33Speaker 1: do by a core Oh? Good one? Oh hell yeah?
- 41:41Speaker 1: Care from The sad thing is they always came to
- 41:45Speaker 1: me with these ideas because even if I didn't do it,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I always gave him a better way to do it.
- 41:54Speaker 1: So the most unethical thing was this dude that Ford
- 41:58Speaker 1: Motor Company. Can't say his name because he's still living.
- 42:02Speaker 1: We were making engines in the engine plant number two
- 42:06Speaker 1: at Brooke Park. This dude had come up with an
- 42:08Speaker 1: idea of where he was gonna forklift a finished motor.
- 42:13Speaker 1: We was making four O fives fifties. He was gonna
- 42:17Speaker 1: forklift two engines at a time to the back door.
- 42:21Speaker 1: He wanted me to drive my forklift around, pick it
- 42:23Speaker 1: up and put it on back of this flat black bed.
- 42:26Speaker 1: But it wasn't a Ford flatbed. He would had rented
- 42:30Speaker 1: a flatbed even gonna load them up, and then he
- 42:33Speaker 1: was gonna take him back and sell him. Yeah, so
- 42:37Speaker 1: he was taking motors out the back door free, whole
- 42:42Speaker 1: brand new motors just made. I said, dog, you can't
- 42:47Speaker 1: do that. Well why not? I said, because bro, somebody
- 42:52Speaker 1: gonna see you how, I said. First of all, with
- 42:57Speaker 1: the I don't know, I don't know where you know
- 43:01Speaker 1: how you ain't thought this through a little bit better,
- 43:03Speaker 1: I said, Bro. Secondly, the whole parking lot got cameras on.
- 43:07Speaker 1: But yeah, if they don't know where the truck comes from.
- 43:10Speaker 1: But dog, somebody got to dry the truck off. They
- 43:14Speaker 1: got cameras back. Killed, Bro, that's why we're gonna wear hoods.
- 43:18Speaker 1: See stop saying we I'm telling you, man, this ain't
- 43:24Speaker 1: gonna work, and I'm not doing it. Man, So you're
- 43:28Speaker 1: gonna punk out on me. Just like I said, Dog,
- 43:30Speaker 1: you just came to me with this. This ain't a
- 43:32Speaker 1: good idea, man, Bro, I tried. I begged that brother.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I said, Man, look, you're not gonna be get way
- 43:38Speaker 1: with this. What happened? He got them trucks up on
- 43:42Speaker 1: that and row them damn injured right off? Did he
- 43:44Speaker 1: get caught? Ever? Two weeks later they let him load
- 43:47Speaker 1: it up again. So he went back and try. They
- 43:52Speaker 1: had just had that one of the cameras had mauth function.
- 43:55Speaker 1: Two weeks later he said, I told you love. Two
- 43:58Speaker 1: weeks later, he loaded that truck up. He got to
- 44:00Speaker 1: the gate there's a police call. Man, that's a good one.
- 44:06Speaker 1: Come on, all right, we'll look at uh what is
- 44:10Speaker 1: something that you actually care nothing about at all? Just
- 44:14Speaker 1: you don't even care at all? That's right, that's rust
- 44:24Speaker 1: so damn close to the top of the list I'm
- 44:26Speaker 1: talking about at all, not even remotely right. It don't
- 44:31Speaker 1: it don't look like now moment of that would be enjoyable. Carla,
- 44:37Speaker 1: you have a quick one. I know you can't. Here
- 44:39Speaker 1: we go. What do you miss the most about your
- 44:42Speaker 1: younger self? The lack of responsibility? Yes, sir, I didn't
- 44:49Speaker 1: have no damn kids. I didn't have no damn ex wife.
- 44:55Speaker 1: I didn't have no credit. I didn't have a damn
- 44:59Speaker 1: call to be a kid again, right, nobody looking for me.
- 45:04Speaker 1: All I had to do was hustling pop balls and
- 45:06Speaker 1: turning me in down at Moore delicate tested to center piece,
- 45:10Speaker 1: give me a hostess chair, pine Ausi Cola. I was
- 45:12Speaker 1: all right, man. Every now and then I go to
- 45:15Speaker 1: Darings and buy me a chicken denner for a dollar five.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I didn't even know who Uncle Sam will next. It
- 45:22Speaker 1: is the nephew. He has a prank phone call right
- 45:24Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Morning Show coming up
- 45:29Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:32Speaker 1: after today's Strawberry letter subject my husband's ex is so disrespectful.
- 45:38Speaker 1: But right now it is the nephew with today's prank
- 45:41Speaker 1: phone call pranks road lord, what road you said it?
- 45:48Speaker 1: But we all got wet. Yeah, I did it right there,
- 45:54Speaker 1: the show did right there? Do it again? Take no, no, no,
- 45:57Speaker 1: no no no, run that back what I just said?
- 45:59Speaker 1: Can they run it back? We all have a recorded
- 46:02Speaker 1: let's go. What you say showers anyone running the prank? Hello, Hello,

- 46:52Speaker 1: anything from that, all of the chore members. We probably
- 46:55Speaker 1: have about the requirembers coming out. Um, yeah, I'm free
- 47:00Speaker 1: on Saturday. Okay. Now, we're doing from five to seven
- 47:04Speaker 1: on Saturday. So are you available five pm to seven pm?
- 47:08Speaker 1: It's only two hours? Yeah, what's your saying? Name was Brian?
- 47:11Speaker 1: I'm sorry they called me Brian, Brian, they called me
- 47:15Speaker 1: be A. I'm sorry. Okay, did I meet you at
- 47:18Speaker 1: the church? Uh? Well, I just joined about three weeks
- 47:22Speaker 1: ago and they've already given me an assignment. So I
- 47:26Speaker 1: made you in marketing in school. So they're trying to
- 47:28Speaker 1: get me to take care of the children and their
- 47:31Speaker 1: vacation that's coming up. We put together some things, a
- 47:34Speaker 1: great fundraiser, and you know, the chore members have been
- 47:37Speaker 1: very receptive. You're the last one for me to call,
- 47:39Speaker 1: and I wanted to make sure you on board with us. Okay, yeah,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I just never heard about this. Right right now? Are
- 47:46Speaker 1: you able to bring your choir robe on on Saturday? Uh? Yeah,
- 47:51Speaker 1: we sing it. We're singing a song? What song did
- 47:53Speaker 1: you need us to um to sing? Did you tell
- 47:55Speaker 1: the pastor about this? No? No, no, you guys are
- 47:58Speaker 1: not actually gonna be singing a song. Uh. What it
- 48:01Speaker 1: is is that we're we're having a uh and I'm glad.
- 48:05Speaker 1: I'm so glad that you're you're you're, you're ready to
- 48:07Speaker 1: participate in what we're doing. So I want to, first
- 48:09Speaker 1: of all, say thank you first and foremost, I want
- 48:11Speaker 1: to say thank you. Okay, all right, So what all
- 48:15Speaker 1: right is that we need the ropes for I can
- 48:21Speaker 1: bring my robe by just a rod. So what's gonna
- 48:23Speaker 1: happen is you guys are singing a song, but we're
- 48:26Speaker 1: having a wet robe uh contest. So what now a
- 48:33Speaker 1: wet robe contest? You're talking about like a wet T
- 48:37Speaker 1: shirt contest type of thing. Well, it's not a T shirt,
- 48:41Speaker 1: it's a robe. So you don't have a T shirt on.
- 48:43Speaker 1: What what we need you to do with? No? No, no, no,
- 48:46Speaker 1: no no no, not in the church. You're talking about
- 48:49Speaker 1: the whole they go to do. Uh A wet robe contest.
- 48:54Speaker 1: You said a wet road contest. I heard a wet
- 48:58Speaker 1: T shirt contest. That's not that's not the same thing though, right, well, no,
- 49:02Speaker 1: it's a little bit different one it is. You don't
- 49:04Speaker 1: have a T shirt on, You actually have your your
- 49:06Speaker 1: your quire robe on, and you don't have anything underneath it.
- 49:11Speaker 1: You don't wear any clothes undneathing. What we do is
- 49:14Speaker 1: all of ladies listen to me. We're gonna let wet
- 49:17Speaker 1: all of the ladies down, and the sexiest one that
- 49:22Speaker 1: went with their role is gonna win five hundred dollars
- 49:26Speaker 1: and half of the money is gonna go to the
- 49:29Speaker 1: children's vacation. Hello, you're talking about a wet T shirt
- 49:34Speaker 1: contest in the church. No, I'm talking about a wet
- 49:37Speaker 1: road contest at the church. No, I'm not in there
- 49:40Speaker 1: getting there and and and and be naked. It's gonna
- 49:44Speaker 1: be it's gonna be out, it's gonna be d We
- 49:47Speaker 1: need you to be completely naked on your road, and
- 49:49Speaker 1: we're gonna win everybody down with the water holes, and
- 49:52Speaker 1: the finest one is going to be able to uh
- 49:56Speaker 1: to win five hundred dollars and two hundred and fifty
- 49:58Speaker 1: of that half of the money is gonna go to
- 50:01Speaker 1: the children's they cald on, hold on, what did you
- 50:03Speaker 1: say your name was again my name, my name is
- 50:06Speaker 1: Brian Bright. How long you've been a member of this church?
- 50:09Speaker 1: Because I don't ever remember me? Okay, I've been a
- 50:13Speaker 1: member for about three weeks now, Like I said, since
- 50:15Speaker 1: I was amazing in marketing. They actually threw me into
- 50:19Speaker 1: no way after three weeks that they're gonna put you
- 50:21Speaker 1: in charge of something. I don't understand. What another problem
- 50:24Speaker 1: with you trying to I don't even trying to me,
- 50:33Speaker 1: and you don't want to help kid. I want to
- 50:36Speaker 1: help the kids, but I'm not going to get up
- 50:37Speaker 1: there and no choir road. I'm doing my best right
- 50:40Speaker 1: now not to cuss you out because I'm a woman's gude.
- 50:43Speaker 1: So you're too good to be naked under your role?
- 50:45Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying? You're too Look, I don't
- 50:48Speaker 1: have to exclaim myself, but I'm not gonna be naked
- 50:51Speaker 1: up to no church. Okay, So so you can't do
- 50:53Speaker 1: the naked roll card. You couldn't do that for the kids.
- 50:57Speaker 1: I know you're not about to tell me what I
- 50:59Speaker 1: can can I do for no kids? Now. I don't
- 51:01Speaker 1: know who gave you my number, but I think you
- 51:03Speaker 1: need to figure out who else to call for this
- 51:05Speaker 1: because I'm not gonna be a part of this. We
- 51:06Speaker 1: called all the other QUA members and they don't have
- 51:09Speaker 1: a problem with it. If you don't called all its
- 51:12Speaker 1: fire members, what are their names? What are the QUIRE
- 51:14Speaker 1: members did you call that were called? Were called sister
- 51:20Speaker 1: Sister Bridge in the choir to the Bridge that I
- 51:23Speaker 1: have a problem with it, ain't no Sister Bridge in
- 51:26Speaker 1: the quai. Okay, how about Sister Rachel. So Sir Rachel
- 51:30Speaker 1: in the choir was fine with it. Ain't no Sister Rachel.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Sister Rachel wouldn't be getting naked. Okay, okay, okay, let
- 51:39Speaker 1: me ask you to something. Look, you know, I don't
- 51:43Speaker 1: know thinking, but I think you need to get Do
- 51:46Speaker 1: you know Sister Devita in the choir? Hello? Yes? Do
- 51:52Speaker 1: you know Sister de Vita in the choir? Yes, I
- 51:56Speaker 1: know Sister Divita. Okay. So, so if the Divita of
- 52:00Speaker 1: said that Sister Bridge and it, Sister Rachel didn't have
- 52:04Speaker 1: a problem doing it, why do you have a problem
- 52:07Speaker 1: doing it. I'm not about to be naked into a church.
- 52:11Speaker 1: You're not getting naked into the church. You're gonna be
- 52:14Speaker 1: in the back part of the church and we're gonna
- 52:16Speaker 1: spray you down with a water holes on your road.
- 52:19Speaker 1: That's what We're not gonna be up there. This is

- 52:27Speaker 1: We don't even have a Tommy at the church. You
- 52:29Speaker 1: keep making up all these maids. Tommy is nephew tom

- 55:06Speaker 1: for them. We could be reading your letter live. Buggle up,
- 55:11Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 55:13Speaker 1: is all right, nephew, Thank you. Subject. My husband's ex
- 55:19Speaker 1: is so disrespectful. Dear Stephen Shirley. My husband and I
- 55:25Speaker 1: have been together for thirteen years and we've been married
- 55:29Speaker 1: for five years. Before we got married, we broke up
- 55:32Speaker 1: for about a year, and during that time we dated
- 55:35Speaker 1: other people. We got back together in two thousand and ten,
- 55:38Speaker 1: and we swore that we cut ties with anyone from
- 55:41Speaker 1: our past. I moved in with him and we got married.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Not long after our wedding, I found out that my
- 55:48Speaker 1: husband was still communicating with an ex girlfriend. This woman
- 55:52Speaker 1: had the nerve to call our house and ask for him.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I had words with her and she ended up hanging
- 55:58Speaker 1: up on me. It been many years since that happened,
- 56:02Speaker 1: but I figured my husband was still talking to her occasionally.
- 56:06Speaker 1: I saw some interaction with them on social media, so
- 56:09Speaker 1: I decided to call her and let her know that
- 56:11Speaker 1: she needs to stop talking to my husband. She said
- 56:15Speaker 1: that my husband was a good friend to her, but
- 56:17Speaker 1: she would stop communicating with him if it would make
- 56:20Speaker 1: me feel better. She also said that if I want
- 56:22Speaker 1: my marriage to work, I need to stay out of
- 56:25Speaker 1: my husband's business. I was hot. Then she told me
- 56:30Speaker 1: that she hoped I found a new job since I
- 56:32Speaker 1: had just been laid off. Needless to say, I cursed
- 56:36Speaker 1: her out and then hung up on her. Apparently, my
- 56:40Speaker 1: husband tells this woman all of our business. I could
- 56:43Speaker 1: not wait for him to get home so I could
- 56:46Speaker 1: curse him out too. But get this, he came home
- 56:49Speaker 1: and he was furious with me. She had called him
- 56:53Speaker 1: and told him everything. My husband told me not to
- 56:56Speaker 1: ever call her again, and he said that I cannot
- 56:59Speaker 1: control role who he's friends with. I was dumbfounded. Is
- 57:04Speaker 1: he crazy? Surely? I just have one question for you.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Is my marriage over? Well, I'll say this, No, it's
- 57:12Speaker 1: not over until it's over, but it is on life
- 57:16Speaker 1: support right now. It definitely is. Your marriage is in
- 57:19Speaker 1: a whole lot of trouble because your husband has decided
- 57:24Speaker 1: to bring another woman into the sanctity of your marriage. Okay,
- 57:28Speaker 1: this is why it's a problem a lot of times
- 57:30Speaker 1: to have friends of the opposite sex when you're married,
- 57:33Speaker 1: because lines across there are no boundaries. Sometimes. Listen, your
- 57:37Speaker 1: husband is wrong. He is wrong for telling her your business.
- 57:40Speaker 1: He shouldn't have done that. That should have been between
- 57:42Speaker 1: husband and wife. And by the way, by the way
- 57:45Speaker 1: she's acting, he's probably doing more than just talking to her,
- 57:49Speaker 1: if you get what I mean. Okay, she's bold, she's empowered.
- 57:52Speaker 1: She's disrespectful to you, she's disrespectful to the marriage. Your
- 57:56Speaker 1: husband is on her side. He's choosing side. It's here
- 58:00Speaker 1: because he's mad at you, his wife for calling her.
- 58:05Speaker 1: I think he's putting her before you, and you know
- 58:07Speaker 1: you're not supposed to do that. So is it over? Uh,
- 58:10Speaker 1: it's hanging on by a thread. I don't know what
- 58:13Speaker 1: you can do necessarily to get it back as long
- 58:15Speaker 1: as this other woman is in the picture. Steve, Oh,
- 58:20Speaker 1: it's too much to say in this letter. This is
- 58:23Speaker 1: just too much. First of all, you all broke up
- 58:27Speaker 1: in dating thirteen years and you broke up. You've been
- 58:31Speaker 1: married from five but you broke up a year and
- 58:32Speaker 1: a half during the time, and y'all dated some other people.
- 58:35Speaker 1: Y'all got back together, and y'all swolder cut Tis was
- 58:38Speaker 1: in exis. Uh. Then you find out that your husband
- 58:42Speaker 1: still communicating with this ex girlfriend. This woman had the
- 58:46Speaker 1: nerd to call y'all's house and ask for him, God Joe,
- 58:52Speaker 1: God Joe, what he was doing when he got that
- 59:01Speaker 1: call from you. That said Belenda on the phone, that
- 59:06Speaker 1: she sounds like some Belinda. This a Belinda that do this.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Benda always find out my hut still communicating with his girlfriend.
- 59:16Speaker 1: She ended up after the house. I had words with him,
- 59:20Speaker 1: and then she hung up on you. It's been a
- 59:22Speaker 1: whole lot of years since that happened. But then you
- 59:25Speaker 1: got to thinking that your husband was still talking with
- 59:27Speaker 1: her occasionally, and then you saw some interaction between them
- 59:31Speaker 1: on social media. So I decided to call her. You
- 59:35Speaker 1: call her to let her know she needs to stop
- 59:38Speaker 1: talking to your husband. First of all, that ain't the
- 59:41Speaker 1: first call you should have made. She didn't walk down
- 59:45Speaker 1: the aisle with you. She ain't saying no vials to you.
- 59:48Speaker 1: She made no vows to you. She promised to cleave
- 59:51Speaker 1: all others and hang only onto you. So what you
- 59:54Speaker 1: call this woman for you? You start your A lot
- 59:58Speaker 1: of things you're doing is out of order. You shouldn't

- 1:00:13Speaker 1: now she telling you stuff about your husband was a

- 1:01:01Speaker 1: of relationship she got with your husband? Oh, this was
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: s thank what she did. So then she said you
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: need to staut your husband's business. Then you was hot.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Then when she got you hot, then she said, well
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: let me heat the asser for real. Then she told
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you that she hoped you would find a new job
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: since you just got laid off. You know, he of
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: you ain't working, You ain't working. I'm trying to show
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you how closer friends we are because I already know
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I hope you find some work since you've been laid off.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Because he told me that. Needless to say, I cussed
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: her out. Okay, cool, then hug up on her. Then
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: now here the conclusion. You then came to this her
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: damn moment you have it. Apparently my husband tells this
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: woman all our business you thank you. I could not
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: wait for him to get home so I could cuss
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: him out to but get this. He came home. He
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: was fierce with me because she had already called him
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and told him everything. This girl setting you up. And
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you what really have aff for this
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: after We'll be back with Steve's response Part two. Coming up.

- 1:02:30Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, now, what is it after this? Okay? Uh,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: here it is. Let's get on part two of your response.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: If I get off his phone, I'm whipping your ass.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: You nobody never said after it's apple. Okay, my husband's
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: ex is so disrespect I don't know that it's heard.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: That's disrespectful. More so it is than it's your husband.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: You didn't found out he communicating with his ex girlfriend.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: The woman had nerd to call your house and ask
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: for you had words? Where did she hung up on you?
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Been a whole lot of years passed since then, but
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: you kind of thought they were still talking, so you
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: went on social media. You found out they've been communicate.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: So instead of calling your husband, you did what the
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: dumb thing to do was you called her first. See,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: once you called the woman first, you get your husband
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: heads up. You got to go to the source first.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: So you call her and you let her know she
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: need to stop talking to your husband. She told me
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: that your husband was a good friend to her. Then
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: she started staying your gass. But I stopped communicating with him.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: If it make you feel better, But before you hang
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: up though, you know, I hope you find a new job.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: And she just got laid on her there, so I
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: hope you found a new job. Because he just told
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: me that, Oh she's staying her hands. Oh now she hot.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: She cossed her out, then hung up bonner. Then she
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: had to dune her moment. Apparently, uncle, Apparently my husband
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: tells this woman everything. I could not wait for him
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: to get home so I could cuss him out too,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: but hold up though she get this. He came home,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: he was furious with me. She had called him and
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: told him everything. This woman is playing you like a drum.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: She just beating on you because she knows how to
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: float your boat. Since you to call and cuss out,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: she's gonna call yours and your what your wife just
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: called me and cuss me out? What now? When you
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: couldn't waiting on the cuss him up? He come in
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: to the house. He mad at you for cussing? How
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: out you don't cuss? How out right? My husband told
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: me don't ever call her again, and then he told
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: her you can't control who the hell I'm friendsly my
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: number two. I was dumbfounded. Is he crazy? The question
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: is are you crazy? Yeah, because he had told you
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: you better not call it again because I'm protecting her
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: before you. Well, do you she my friend? You don't
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: call her and you're don't control who I'm friends. Shirley,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I had one Now hit this goes straight to Sharley. Shirley,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I had one question for you? Is my marriage over?
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: What you're asking? Sherley for what you want Sherley to
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: tell you? You gotta ask? Hello, you tell me. I
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: ain't saying your marriage is over, but let me tell
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: you what he is over. Your days are telling him
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: what to do them, over your days of honor and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: your wishes them over the days of getting what you
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: want from a marriage. That's over the fact that does
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: he put you in front of everybody else? That's over done.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, I don't like yours? And
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: then you know you can't call her no more. All
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: we learned in this ladder you need here and find
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: your That's a job, that's all. It's the only thing
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: in here. And I see that's what show that your
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: ass needs to go get the job, because now you're
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: sitting around house. You got all damn day worry about
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: this work. And they're still talking. My husband's is disrespectful.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't think it's the X. See, your
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: ex can't say none of the stuff to you that
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: she didn't get from him. Rule number one, you cannot
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: discuss your private business with your side piece because your
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: side piece now has information to give back to your
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: main thing. And if you don't think they're gonna feed
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: it back to him soon as they can, you dead wrong,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: that's right, because she wants to feel, you know, like
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: she's got something on you. You know, Yeah, she wants
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: you to know she got something on you. Right. She
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: may not have your man. You might have a man,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: but he really won't. But yeah, but she's got him
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: in some ways. But you ain't gonna be able to
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: keep him knowing. You know why, because you need to
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: stay out of his business. That's what the side p says. Yeah,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: I tell you something else too. If you don't have him,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: find a damn like his women working. That's why he called.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: You know, I'm working. I'm working. I'm working, and I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: don't stay off in his business. I let him, as
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: a man, do what he wants to do. I let
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: him come home to you don't and if he tells
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: me he got that he got to make a showing
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: at the house. I don't trip because I know he's
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: coming back. Has spoken. Man, tell me, why are you
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: all perked up? You smiling and everything? You love that
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: kept talking about the dude. I can't do nothing but
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: stake my head got to it's power in the dude. No,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: it ain't stupid. I can't believe him. He just came
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: back from his honeymoon vacation or anniversary anniversary vacation. You
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: keep old. Ain't gonna be too many more? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: so that's it, lady mar over. I don't know if
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: the marriage is over, but all the components has showed
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: you a life support. It is. We know out of work.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: That's the one thing for showy takeaway, ain't woman told
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: us too. She's telling everybody your business at number two
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: show got a lot of first hand in from Yes, yes, yes,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: she does. She's got power you don't have. You need
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: to stay out, he'd be and you thought you were
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: getting laid off with you just oh baby, I got you.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: You better hear him fast some more working, all right, Steve,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. Please email us or Instagram.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: That's your thoughts on today's strawberry letters. But you ain't
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: got to get no work because he can come over
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: here and our social media Steve Harvey FM dot com
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: or until you get on your feet. Coming up in
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: about ten minutes from the time. It is our girl,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Cheryl Underwood. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Morning Show. President Trump signed an executive order yesterday to
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: keep families together in response to outrage over his zero
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: tolerance policy, which separated children migrant children and their parents
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: at the US border with Mexico. Steve bringing our girl
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: from the talk, Well, I know Sheryl has something to say.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Go ahead, Steve, Ladies and Wood, Steve Harvey, let me
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: tell you something. What's happening to Steve haven't want to
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: show everybody listening. I think the president the caved baby. Listen.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: First of all, I'm so proud of our country on
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: this immigration thing. Like I said before him and said again,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: we need to have zero tolerance on the zero tolerance policy.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: We should not be fut this and don't let them
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: pick brown people against black people and my right brothers.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: And when the Republicans stand up with Democrats with right
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: thinking people and say this is wrong. You don't several
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: people and stop lying talk about this law. Ain't no law.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: President Obama didn't do this. Don't try to blame him
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: on this. This is all Jefferson bowregard Sessions and what
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: did if Donald J. Trump? That's both of it. When
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: your own wife go against you, Milania said this is enough,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and you know how she got in here. So ain't
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: gonna say no shade to it because you're on our
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: side right now. When five former first ladies say you're
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: wrong for this, when the country say you're wrong for this,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you're wrong. And I'm gonna tell you what executive order
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: my behind. What you need to do, pass the laws,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: get immigration straight. And the last thing we need to
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: we need to really talk about this is what it
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: is racism. When you're talking about who could come, well,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: it's racism. Why we wasn't the first people in Neither
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: was the Europeans. It was already some people here. They
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: had walked over from Alaska all the way down for Russia.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: This was other people's house. A matter of fact, ain't
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: none of this nobody This has all been on the god.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: When the Indians talked they say, the Great Father put
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: all this down here for our enjoyment. Then a man uh.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: And I'm in no shade the white people because I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: know a lot of white people listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: and they got a lot of sense. So I'm just
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: saying this is historical purposes. What happens is they put
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: something down on paper, then they forced you to make
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: your mark upon it, to say you agree with something,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: so you agree that they get to take your land.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: You did it to the I Need people. You made
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: laws so they couldn't come here. But really you was
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: against your own people when you made laws about the
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Irish people, when you made laws about the Italian people,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: you made laws about the Jewish people, you made laws
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: about the black people. But all these people don't come
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: together to help our brown brothers and sisters. So I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: need us, the lawyer up. I need us to get
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: these kids some h some support and foster care and everything,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: because this ain't what America's about. You got a statue
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: over there in New York that say bring us your
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: tired you're hungry yearning. The brief free with these people
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: is trying to escape the tyranny of their country. They're
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: trying to escape the violence of their country. We are
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: not like if these people were not brown, I bet
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: you they would be passing some kind of laws. And
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: then last, we'll not least, don't forget this when it's
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: trying to vote in the mid term election, and don't
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: forget this when we decide who we're gonna put in
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: the White House. Somebody's got some sense and not making
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: it up as they go along. Today, I'm standing with
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: our brown brothers and sisters, and I'm gonna say this,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: the People United can never be defeated. And right now
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: we stand with the brown brothers and sisters on our
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: southern borders because all illegal immigrants are not Latin, they're
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: not all brown, but they showed getting the blame for everything.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I'm out Steph Harvey, but I'm tired of this mess.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I'm about the cuss caller, get your dumb button wetting,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: because this is wrong right here, and you don't make
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: no place where you fence people in and you don't
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: make them look we're talking about this on Jim tenth Week,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Jill tenth Week. When the trumpet sounded Emancipation was in
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: eighteen sixty three. But if you lived in Kansas, Texas
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: and Oklahoma. You didn't here tell us Jim teen Jill nineteenth,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: eighteen sixty five. That means you had two more years
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: of free labor. So we know the shenanigans that you
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: do with laws, and we ain't gonna stand for it,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: and we're not gonna forget this, and we're gonna be
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: ready if you don't side with what's right, we will
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: vote your butt right up out our office. Are you
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: with me? Brothers? And and listen to me. I had
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: to quote the Ozley brothers when they said in the power,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: why say he don't want no? But going down the power?
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: And let me say something. I was watching CNN and
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: they were interviewing Trump voters about this whole policy of
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: separating family. You are stunned, man, I am stunned. These
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: are all Trump supporters, and not all of them, but
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: a huge part of them was, you know, I love
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: children too, but it's the law, and we should let
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: our politicians decide that for us. I'm sitting here and
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I'm looking at people who are so damn stupid. Because
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: you belong to a certain party doesn't mean you have
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: to agree or stop thinking. Damn look, man, Hillary Clinton.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I voted for her, but did she do something didn't mess. Oh,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: let me point it out first of all, to go
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: to the place that I was born in, McDowell County,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: West Virginia, who has always been cold counties, and say, listen,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: that's gonna be a lot of coal miners gonna lose
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: jobs because we're gonna stop tearing up this earth. You
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: thought that you could run off making a statement instead
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: of bringing jobs to America. You thought the statement of
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: we're gonna let a lot of coal minors gonna lose jobs.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Not even though Trump lied and said he's bringing cold
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: back what you can't that sounds a lot more promising
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: than a lot of coal miners gonna lose jobs. That
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: was a huge mistake. That's right. So at no point
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: do I stop thinking just because I'm a liberal Democrat,
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Because no, But you can't just be over there listening
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: to this man and agreeing with everything he said. This
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: damn st that's right. If they would just imagine this,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: if they came to take your baby, that's right, that's right,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: that's right. But one minute, you can't even sit there
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and put yourself in somebody's position and why they're coming
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: here is to seek asylum because the conditions in their
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: countries horrendous. They're not packing drugs, that's what they're doing.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: That's right. Yeah, alright, we got we're supposed to be
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: to beacon a freedom. Yeah, alright, great conversation we're having, guys.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: We got to take a short break right here. We'll
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: have more of this conversation when we come back right
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steven Show. Alright, Uh, this
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: conversation was hot right here when we left you. We
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: were talking about, uh, the illegal immigration situation and what
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: President Trump is not doing about it. Ryl Underwood stayed
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: over so we can finish our conversation and about this, Steve,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: All of this talk about flooding the borders and colored across,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: this only applies to people who come from South, right,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: They got nothing to do with everybody come out to East.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Because I hate to remind these these loving country members,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: all all one hundred percent of your forefathers came here
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: speak without passports, just on ships from Italy, Greece, France, London.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: All y'all, everybody came from somewhere else. African America's guess what.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: And after y'all came here. Guess what we came here.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: We was over here. So now all of a sudden,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: it's just youyous. That's right, All of a sudden, it's
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: just you, and you determine who come out. But now
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: because the color their skin is different, right, and they're
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: coming from the South. With your hypocritical ask as if
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: you don't use these people, that's right, speak on the stage.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Go to Donald Trump's golf courses. Have been to and
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: they are some of the best golf courses out there.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: If I want you to go, just welcome. Start trying
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: to help some conversations with who worked there. Absolutely, absolute
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: and Steve. What they do is they periodically make laws
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: where they decide no more of you. So when they
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: were using Chinese people to build the railroads and strap
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: and dynamite to them and lower them down on cliffs
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: so they can put these dynamite packs in, then they
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: decided to know more of you. When they decide who
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: they don't want anymore of, then they change laws. As
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: early as Lyndon Bings Johnson president in the sixties. So
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: what I'm trying to say is, look, we need to
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: be a country that stands against evil, stand against wrong.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: And what's happening right now, President Trump has unchecked power.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: People are afraid. So if you speak against them, and
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: I'm in the Republican Party, and when you speak against them,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: so you don't win your election. But what happened this
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: week was that the country unified and said this was wrong.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: And when white people stand up and go, I'm not
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: taking this anymore. So I want to applaud the white
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: people that have stood up. And You've got to understand
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: what this is about. This is about politics and playing
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: to your base and playing to the least. This is
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: the least. This is not what this country is about.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: We are a beacon of freedom. I can't wait. I
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: cannot wait for people to get woke up enough about
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: what this really is about. And that's racism. It's racism,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: and it's bigger treat. And I'm gonna say it because
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I was one of those people that was like, well,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: you know, people need to come in legally, you know,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: because I was in the party, and I'm gonna say
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: it to my people. I was drinking the kool aid,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: but I'm not drinking that kool ai no more. I'm
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: standing on the side of what is right and when
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: people of color, especially brown brothers and sisters, need our
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: help is to stop this. Make sure that our legislature
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: stands up. Elijah Commons brother, that's my fraternity brother paid
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: that brother was speaking from his heart. When Kamala Harris
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: stand up, she is speaking from her heart. And what
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: we got to do as Americans is joined together and
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: say this cannot happen because this is not what we
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: are about. This is not what we are about. We
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: are not a totalitarian nation. We're not a nation that
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: say you can't come here. We're not xenophobic, we don't
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: have fear of strangers. We are the greatest nation in
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the world. And I did not put on a uniform
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to defend the flag and the constitution for it to
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: be turned into this. They for this. That's right. And
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: also also I'm all for legal border crossings myself. It
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: would make it easier and safer for everybody. But the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: problem is we don't have a system in place that
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: handles it in a timely fashion. That's right. Being free.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: What what what most people in this country don't understand
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: is that being free is urgent. That's right, It's urgent.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Dog you know, if if you were the one who
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: was in Like Frederick Douglas made an interesting statement about slavery.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: He said, who amongst you would think that slavery is
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: right for you? So when you're oppressed, when you're living
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: in stark poverty, you're running from drug cardtail and there
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: is no fish, just some dirt, and I run this
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: way and escape it. Who you think ain't coming? Now?
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: Other drugs coming across? Yeah, should we stop that? How
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: about you stop using drugs and then they won't have
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: nobody to sell it to. How about that? How about that?
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: And then what killed me is now you got an
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: opioid crisis. If you stop being a customer, then they
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: stop having the supply. Well see but now now we're
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: talking about the legalization of malwa because see now what
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: we found our nos higher government really thinks since we
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: can't beat them, let's Jordan. So now let's find a
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: way to make this legal so we can tax it.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: It ain't ever, it don't ever get far away from
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: money with this country, and you can stop thinking that
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: it does. This is not the big moral barometer that
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: we keep laying on the world that we are because
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: we're not we're very much a loally corrupt country because
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: if you don't think we all just look at the actions.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Here is a country whose president will turn around and
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: if you kneel, skip the fact that you're kneeling for
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: oppression and injustice of people with police brutality in this country.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: That's not what you're kneeling for. I'm gonna turn it
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: into your disrespecting the flag in our military. So now
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: those people are sums of so. But then a group
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: of haters in Virginia who run over innocent people who
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: protest Jews, gaze blacks and all this here there's fine
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: people on both sides. So let me get this straight.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: You are son of if you kneel for the flag,
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: but you're a good person if you burn across somebody.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Somebody helped me on this. Come get bigger than that cross.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: You tell me today you made the decision to make
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: that flag bigger than that cross. You made that decision,
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: your dad. This is a true story about someone who
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: works here with us at the radio company. This woman

- 1:24:37Speaker 1: a little bit. Here it is reality Update. Okay, nephew,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: here we go. Is Kenya Moore coming back to the
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Real House Lives of Shirley? What is going on? What
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: is happening? Did she resign? Did she what? What? I
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: don't know. If they I had heard and we talked
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: about this, you heard about it too, that they let
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: her go that she got fired. But but according to her,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: yeah yeah So. Just weeks after it was reported that
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: Kenya Moore would not be returning to the Real Housewives
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: of Atlanta, she took to Instagram to further confuse us
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: the fans on whether she's coming back or not. Now
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: her post it could be interpreted either as a final
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: goodbye message or a message about another TV deal. So
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: after posting yeah, it was too much posting video clips
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: of Real Housewives of Atlanta, can you drop these facts
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: in caption? No one has ever asked me to be
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: a friend to the show. I am the housewife that
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: has had the highest rated episodes the past three seasons,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: even last year having missed three episodes. Hashtag fact love
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: me or hate me, I may not be the fan favorite.

- 1:26:03Speaker 1: continuing to contribute to the success of Real Housewives of

- 1:26:26Speaker 1: gonna be They asked her to be a friend, you
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: know how they take her. She's not holding the peach anymore.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: She's just a friend to the house. Yeah, that's what
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: it sounds like. Yeah, that's not She kind of got
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: demoted and she's not accepting. She said, a housewife for nothing. Nothing.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: If I don't see Kenya, I'm not watching. We're not watching,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: Andy Cohen. How about So that's the question. Oh so
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: that's the question. Yeah, go to live. That's right, Steve,

- 1:27:45Speaker 1: too with her husband Greg. I was about to say
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: that what's wrong with Nini revealed last week that Gregg
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: has been diagnosed with cancer and we are praying for
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Nini and Greg. She posted a photo of her husband
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: at M. D. Anderson Cancer Hospital here in Houston. People

- 1:28:46Speaker 1: celebrities who work with Fox Entertainment are voicing their disgust
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: at working under the same umbrella as Fox News Family
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: Guy creator Seth McFarlane. Uh, it's business like this that
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: makes me embarrassed to for this company. That's what he said. Also,
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: Steve Leviton, creator of Modern Family, tweeted let me officially
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: joined Seth McFarlane and uh saying I'm disgusted to work

- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Modern Family stands Where I knew you'd like that, Steve. Uh, Yeah,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: it's it's the exact opposite of what Modern Family stands for.
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: He later said he would leave twenty first century Fox
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: after his show, and also Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lawren.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Lewandowski was a guest on Fox News Tuesday afternoon along
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: with Zach pin Canis, a former senior d n C advisor.
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: H The two got into a very heated argument after
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: uh Lewandowski dropped the want bomb about the disabled immigrant
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: child being separated from her mom and sent to a
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: detention facility. Take a listen to this. I mean, look,
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: I I read today about a ten year old girl
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: with Down syndrome who was taken from her mother and
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: put in a cage. I read about a they just
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: they want want to a ten year old with Down syndrome.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Anything you ward, but the bottom line is very scare
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: you when you cra absolutely, dare you, sir? You have died?
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: You right, taken from their country, we have board stolen
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: from their mothers and put into cages. This country, your
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: parents and understands, just just they understand. So you crossed
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: the border illegally, sir, com rhyme, you are taken away
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: from She has a down center that she was taking
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: from her mind all that country. Wow, that's pretty low, man,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: You know that's pretty low. That's ignorant on so many levels.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: You know, if a comedian did Dad Boy, out of
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: business done, you're done. Kathy Griffin is out of work
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: right now because she had a chopped off very you know,
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Donald Trump's head. That wasn't out of line, of course
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: it was, of course it was, but she out of word.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: But hold up, man, you're you're a politician, yeah, used
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: to run this campaign campaign. He's a women, sir? Are
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: you want want want a child with down syndrome? How
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: and he would see that's political anger? How dare you
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: see that? Ain't hood, ain't gon whod ain't gonna come
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: with something? So I want to you know what, man,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something right now. I thank god, I
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: really do man, I really do. Thank God, and this
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: is not a joke. I thank God for raising me
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: the way I was raised. I thank God that that
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: I can recognize levels hood. Anger ain't always best. But
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: it's damn show help for that time, because it could
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: have easily been what it could have been? Answered that
- 1:31:54Speaker 1: it could have been? Yeah, whatever you say, Yeah, don't
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: I mean sicily because you're sitting there trying to work
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: it out in his hand. But you're going, wait a minute, mate,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: how did you just say? Done? Wrong with you? All?
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: That would have been in order? Yeah, under the circumstances,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: for sure. And how could you be so cold and heartless?
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: How these kids are separated from their folks, from their path.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: You come over here illegally and you cross the wall,
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: you lose all your rights. What yeah, coming up next,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: our last break of the day. And you know what
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: that means. Steve Harvey's closing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: miss him. He's working on him right now. You're listening
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: to Steve show. All right, here we are, last break
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: of the day. What an exciting morning it has been today, Steve,
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: and take us home with some closing remarks. Please, You
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: know a lot of people graduate this year from high school,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: from college. I see the kids everywhere going out and
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: joining their proms and celebrations. I've seen a lot of
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: photos of caps getting thrown in and robes and parents
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: standing around crying, and great moments for young people. I
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: want to say something to young people. I'm often asked
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: what would I say to my eighteen or twenty one
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: year old self if I knew the things I know now.
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: I get often asked that question. And because my youngest
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: is turning twenty one this month, that's all my kids
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: will now be over twenty one years old. I think
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: one of the things that I've tried to impress upon
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: them was two things. Follow your dreams and keep your
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: foot on the gas pedal. Follow your dreams and keep
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: your foot on the gas pedal. You know, so many
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: times young people take this opportunity to graduate, to just
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: start on this party run. And I can't really, I
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: can't really knock that. You know, you should celebrate the
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: fact that you finally out of high school, that you
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: finally out of college. You should have a celebration. But
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: I got news for you. At celebration aught to be brief.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: That whole summer you talking about doing a lot of
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: that's gonna be wasted valuable time. And you get and
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: it's a funny thing. Man. It only takes thirty days
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: to be a form of habit. So if you get
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: into this party mode for the ninety days of summer,
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: you could potentially be developed in a habit that you
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: don't need. And so you find yourself not so much
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: taking care of business when September get here, because you're
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: still in party mode. I have tried to express upon
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: the young people in my life, keep your foot on
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: the gas pedal. Don't blow your twenties. Your twenties ain't
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: the party time. Your twenties should be part of the
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: grind time. What most people do is what I did.
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: I blew my twenties. I just blew them. Next thing
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: I knew, I was in my thirties, and I spent
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: all of my thirties fixing everything I was supposed to
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: do when I was twenty, and I looked up and
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I was forty, and all of a sudden, I was
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: trying to be in my forties everything that I could
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: have been in my thirties. And then I looked up
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: one day and I was fifty and I was finally
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: putting it together. But Lord, ha mercy. I looked back.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: I said, man, I could have had it together. I
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: could have saved myself a lot of time had I
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: just kept my foot on the gas. Stop looking for
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: ways to be s stop looking for ways to chill
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: and relax, Find ways to maximize your time and effort
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: to make them count for something. Because your future, I
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: got news for you, is coming and everything you do
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: today is going to affect those days that's coming called
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: the future. So what you're doing today is gonna affect
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: your tomorrow. You can believe that. So if you ain't
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: got your foot on the gas, it's gonna show up tomorrow.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: I promise you it will. It's just the way it works.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: And the second thing I tell my young people, follow
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: your dreams. Chase him dreams. Man. But here's the good news.
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: God is in to make your dream come true. Business.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: And I don't care what age you are. God is
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: in to make your dream come true. Business. God is
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: in the delivery business. He's in the forgiving business. He's
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: in to get your life together business. He's going to
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: pick you up and dush you off business. He's in
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: the come on. Let's go forward business. That's the business
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: he's in. But he can't put you in the business
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: unless you're already in it. You make one step, he'll
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: make two. He will not make all the steps for you.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: You gotta do some of this yourself. You gotta try something.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: God will put his finger on it and bless it,
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: but he gotta have something to put his finger on.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: He just can't seeing blessings to your house and you
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: sit there just opening up boxes, but you ain't paid
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: for nothing. Boxes don't come to your house unless you
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: make an order. If you want a big box at
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: the house, you got to make an order. It's some
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: things you gotta do to get packages to the house,
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: don't you agree. But that's the same thing with a blessing.
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: If you want more blessings to come your way, you
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: gotta do more things to get blessed. It's just a
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: real common sense thing. Follow your dreams and don't take
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: your foot off that gas pedal. Quit being what everybody
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: else wants you to be. Your mom and them don't
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: know everything, begging you to be a lawyer. You know
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: how many lawyers I know out of that profession because
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: they got talked into it, and then they find out
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: later a man, that it don't make them happy, that
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: it don't make their heart beata. They realize, Man, I
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: want to do something that I'm not only gifted at,
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: but I'm passionate about. You better start thinking about that,
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: because you only got one time to go around these
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: this track hill. Follow your dreams, because God is going
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: to make your dream come true. Business. And once you
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: decide what your dream is, don't take your foot off
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: the gas because you do. Like I and so many
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: others have done, I blew all my twenties, all of them.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: Spent all of my thirties fixing what I had messed
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: up in my twenties. Next thing I knew, I was forty,
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: and now all of a sudden, I'm trying to be
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: what I should have already been in my thirties. And
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: then I looked up and out fifty and I had
- 1:38:23Speaker 1: it together. But I looked back and I went mad.
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: I blew so much time. So those are the two
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: things I would say to young people. If I could
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: say to the eighteen and the twenty one year old
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, this is what I would say to me,
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: And I'm saying it to you. That's my votes to you.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: I ain't talking down to you. I'm just telling you
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: the truth. Y'all. Have a great weekends this manniversary this
- 1:38:49Speaker 1: weekend too. Man. Wow, going strong, ul congratulations. Ain't no
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: signs of it going wrong. You pass your normal number.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: Huh huh, you're normal. Stop it stopped folding. Okay, I'm
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: not gonna do it, Leven Pain. We have to go
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: on that note. Thank you. Drop the mic, drop the mic,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: let's go. Just talk to graduates and all for all.
