- 2:04Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now
- 2:07Speaker 1: want and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:12Speaker 1: here we go. I was working out. I was talking
- 2:18Speaker 1: to a buddy of mine, and I was telling him
- 2:21Speaker 1: something that Bishop td Jake's told me one time. I
- 2:26Speaker 1: would hate to die and not do the thing that
- 2:31Speaker 1: I was born to do. I would hate to die
- 2:37Speaker 1: and not do the thing that I was born to do. Man,
- 2:43Speaker 1: oh man, oh man, man. That hit me like a
- 2:46Speaker 1: like a like a pile of bricks man, because it
- 2:50Speaker 1: made me feel so grateful that God has allowed me
- 2:57Speaker 1: to live my life this way now. And I'm talking
- 3:02Speaker 1: about grateful for all of it, the good, the bad,
- 3:06Speaker 1: and the ugly. And I have had all of them.
- 3:11Speaker 1: The person you see today, it ain't always who I was.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It was on the inside of me, but it hadn't
- 3:18Speaker 1: externalized itself, if that's a word. It hadn't been brought out.
- 3:23Speaker 1: It was in here, but it was under development. Who
- 3:27Speaker 1: I am today was a process. But like I said before,
- 3:33Speaker 1: don't trip Hem through with me yet. Even today, I'm
- 3:40Speaker 1: still an imperfect soldier for Christ. Today. I still fall
- 3:46Speaker 1: short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what, I'm ever grateful
- 3:52Speaker 1: for the life I have. And you know what, I
- 3:55Speaker 1: want to encourage everybody today to explore your possibilities. I mean, man,
- 4:04Speaker 1: explore your possibilities. Why would you not want to find out, discover,
- 4:14Speaker 1: or know what it is God got for you? Why
- 4:20Speaker 1: would you not want to achieve or accomplish all of
- 4:24Speaker 1: your possibilities? Now, as I ask you this question, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: want you to know that the devil is busy, that
- 4:32Speaker 1: he plays mind tricks. So as you hear this, I
- 4:35Speaker 1: already know he's saying to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve,
- 4:38Speaker 1: that's easy for you to say, but I didn't get
- 4:41Speaker 1: myself in this situation right here. Ain't nothing too hard
- 4:45Speaker 1: for God? Nothing nothing? And see, so as you listen
- 4:52Speaker 1: to me, try to try to get your mind open
- 4:55Speaker 1: to this. Why would you not want to explore all
- 5:00Speaker 1: of your life's possibilities, what's possible with your life? And
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'm talking about from right where you are right now.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm not asking you to change, I'm not asking you
- 5:11Speaker 1: to do anything. I'm telling you this is a fact
- 5:14Speaker 1: that God can get you from right where you are
- 5:18Speaker 1: right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken, all of that, misfortunate,
- 5:34Speaker 1: all of the missus you've been talking about in your life.
- 5:38Speaker 1: You know you I missed a lottery, I missed my ride.
- 5:42Speaker 1: They fined men, I missed the deadline. I didn't get it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Miss people. People just miss stay self to death. If
- 5:51Speaker 1: you've been all in missus, God can get you from
- 5:54Speaker 1: right where you are. God at home run hither. I'm
- 5:58Speaker 1: here to tell you that he's home run hit her.
- 6:01Speaker 1: He's all put him over the wall whenever he wants to,
- 6:03Speaker 1: all the time. And you can be a recipient of
- 6:06Speaker 1: some of these home runs. He'll put the bat in
- 6:08Speaker 1: your hand. But you got to swain. Now, listen to me.
- 6:12Speaker 1: You got to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got
- 6:15Speaker 1: to stop holding yourself down with beating yourself up. I
- 6:18Speaker 1: was listening to George Meyers on TV the other day
- 6:21Speaker 1: and she said that she was talking to God, and
- 6:24Speaker 1: she said that she had kept asking God to forgive
- 6:27Speaker 1: her over and over one of her prayers, Lord, forgive
- 6:30Speaker 1: me and for something she had done, and she was
- 6:33Speaker 1: telling it to somebody. As I remember the story she
- 6:37Speaker 1: was telling, she says she was telling it to somebody,
- 6:39Speaker 1: that minister or something, and the minister said, hey, hey, hey,
- 6:43Speaker 1: he heard you the first time. See a lot of
- 6:48Speaker 1: us we keep ourselves down and back because we keep
- 6:53Speaker 1: beating ourselves up for the mistake sweet and made. But
- 6:56Speaker 1: God is in the forgiving business all day long. He
- 7:01Speaker 1: forgives you time and time again. He won't hold you
- 7:04Speaker 1: down about it if you don't hold yourself down about it.
- 7:07Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you one more time. The devil
- 7:09Speaker 1: is busy. So what the devil do is he makes
- 7:12Speaker 1: you think you ain't worthy. He makes you think that
- 7:14Speaker 1: you've done something so despicable that you can't come back
- 7:17Speaker 1: from it. He makes you feel like you're so low
- 7:20Speaker 1: you can't go up high. He knocked you down and
- 7:22Speaker 1: make you feel like you've been knocked down harder than
- 7:24Speaker 1: anybody else. You can't get up, he wrote, you so
- 7:27Speaker 1: deep down in that ditch you can't see over the edge.
- 7:31Speaker 1: God can come get you from. No matter where you are,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you ain't been to love. I know terminally ill people
- 7:38Speaker 1: that's still here today. I know a lady. I know
- 7:42Speaker 1: a lady personally. The doctors told her you got sixty
- 7:47Speaker 1: days tops a year and a half. Lady, she was
- 7:51Speaker 1: still here. You ain't in no hole too deep for God.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Steve Harvey can tell you that I know some people
- 7:59Speaker 1: can tell you that. Tyler Perry can tell you that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I can name you some people. Bishop Jake can tell
- 8:05Speaker 1: you that. Kirk Franklin can tell you that. Donnie Mcclerkton
- 8:08Speaker 1: can tell you that. I just know some people personally
- 8:10Speaker 1: man that they've been in a hole. I know some
- 8:13Speaker 1: people man been down, been in a hole so deep.
- 8:16Speaker 1: See you know, See, we don't we don't like to
- 8:20Speaker 1: talk about that because now we want everybody to pay
- 8:22Speaker 1: extra hard for some mistakes they made when clearly and
- 8:26Speaker 1: excuse me for being a new Christian. But there is
- 8:29Speaker 1: a prayer that I've been saying since I was a
- 8:31Speaker 1: little bit boy, and it took me till I was
- 8:33Speaker 1: a grown man to understand it. Forgive us our trust
- 8:36Speaker 1: passes as we forgive those who trust passed against us.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So see, it ain't my job to hold nobody down,
- 8:43Speaker 1: to keep my knee on somebody's neck. Who am I?
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here, probably today.
- 8:51Speaker 1: See so all this, you're holding people down with the
- 8:54Speaker 1: way you feel in bout the man. She shouldn't have
- 8:56Speaker 1: said this, and she will never get it. I never
- 8:58Speaker 1: support this again. Man, get up, get up and get real.
- 9:02Speaker 1: You're for real. You think you ain't finn need forgiveness?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Real soon? You ain't Finn to make a diabolical mistake
- 9:07Speaker 1: in your life. You don't think you are. I have
- 9:11Speaker 1: thousands of them, probably gonna make a few hundred more
- 9:13Speaker 1: for I get up out of him. So I've decided
- 9:16Speaker 1: to be in a forgiving business because I want God
- 9:20Speaker 1: to forgive my trust passes as I forgive those who
- 9:24Speaker 1: trust pass against me. You understand. See, excuse me for
- 9:28Speaker 1: being a new Christian. I get I get tired of
- 9:31Speaker 1: talking to people man supposed to be saved and talking
- 9:34Speaker 1: about their christian I don't want that type of religion. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I ain't in that, no more. I ain't in that.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You can call me wrong if you want to saying
- 9:40Speaker 1: how you want to say. I ain't in that, No more.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I ain't in all that. You can feel how you
- 9:43Speaker 1: want to feel about me. But I got proof that
- 9:45Speaker 1: God work in my life. I got I am a
- 9:48Speaker 1: living witness to God's mercy and grace because I haven't
- 9:52Speaker 1: been a recipient of it the whole time. Look at me, man,
- 9:55Speaker 1: if you knew me back then, I'm talking about really
- 9:57Speaker 1: knew me. Man, you be crying too. It time somebody
- 10:00Speaker 1: to ask you a question. You know. I can't hardly
- 10:03Speaker 1: get it out sometime when people ask me something about
- 10:06Speaker 1: deeper on the inside of me, about my soul and
- 10:08Speaker 1: how I used to being, and my journey and my
- 10:10Speaker 1: trip because people don't know the trip I've been on.
- 10:13Speaker 1: You may have been on one worse than me, but
- 10:15Speaker 1: you know what. You ain't in a hole too deep.
- 10:17Speaker 1: God can't get you out of. Man. I wish I want.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I want people to remember that man, God is a redeemer.
- 10:24Speaker 1: He the redeemer. Man. God is the great. I am.
- 10:26Speaker 1: He ain't the great. Maybe I will be. He ain't
- 10:29Speaker 1: the great. Later on, he ain't the great. After a
- 10:31Speaker 1: while he the great. I am. That's today right now.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So if you ain't got nothing, now what you're asking for?
- 10:38Speaker 1: You know, you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 10:40Speaker 1: asking for nothing. Could asking God to get you out
- 10:43Speaker 1: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 10:48Speaker 1: You keep asking to get out of debt. You keep
- 10:50Speaker 1: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 10:52Speaker 1: what you're asking God for? I'm just tripping today, that's all.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I apologize. You're listening to morning ladies and
- 11:03Speaker 1: gentlemen today it's going to be different. I have decided,
- 11:08Speaker 1: without conferring with anyone, that today would be a day
- 11:14Speaker 1: well come on, wow, every day think that this? No,
- 11:21Speaker 1: should not like watch this? Watch this? What a fool
- 11:33Speaker 1: but nothing hid front and waiting. Hey ladies, hello, Steve,
- 11:42Speaker 1: stay out the way, you try to control it, do
- 11:48Speaker 1: your best? All right? Well let's okay, Well then, if
- 11:52Speaker 1: this is going to be a different day of ignorance,
- 11:54Speaker 1: let's have it. Don't back up now, don't back down now, Okay,
- 11:58Speaker 1: what you need Let's start with any question you want
- 12:01Speaker 1: to ask me let's just get this started right now.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Any question you want to ask me, This can carry
- 12:06Speaker 1: over into six thirty four. These are all ignorant, non
- 12:12Speaker 1: responsible answers. Oh okay, tell junior. I don't just but
- 12:18Speaker 1: tell Junior. You can see how fat you are the
- 12:23Speaker 1: most when you are wiping your backside. That's when the
- 12:30Speaker 1: most of your fat leans forward and you're able to
- 12:33Speaker 1: really see how much fat really is you. So you
- 12:39Speaker 1: still so you still reaching behind yourself. Yes, you're retching back.
- 12:46Speaker 1: So that's how we're still okay, okay, all right, all
- 12:51Speaker 1: right now you're still jamming your hand down the back
- 12:54Speaker 1: of the new level of ignorance. Okay, you win? Oh
- 13:03Speaker 1: that were you the fattest that? I didn't think. I
- 13:09Speaker 1: didn't think you can talk yourselves. I really didn't. But man,
- 13:12Speaker 1: oh man, you gotta put your hand on the wall
- 13:16Speaker 1: in front of It's early, guys, it's early in the morning. Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 1: People are having they're eating or they're just getting out.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Everybody going breakfast time? Wow? Really, okay, let's start this again, Steve,
- 13:32Speaker 1: because speak to us again. Yeah, that was that's unacceptable.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Far see it. I just wanted to be there. There
- 13:41Speaker 1: ain't nothing they ain't I beg to differ with you? Girl?
- 13:48Speaker 1: You do all the stuff I inhale back. Give you
- 13:52Speaker 1: credit for that. Okay, Okay, how about this, let's not line,
- 13:58Speaker 1: Let's not do bodily fun, Let's not do alright? Alright, Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's out. Be quiet, Tommy. Thirty seconds you got thirty seconds,

- 14:40Speaker 1: So what you got? Jay? This is it? This is
- 14:42Speaker 1: football season and the worst thing is to be around
- 14:46Speaker 1: a losers. Loses have best. Loses have stuff. They say,
- 14:52Speaker 1: we got one, we got one on the show. I
- 14:56Speaker 1: don't know. I don't even have a team. If I hate,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I got a world, world weird together because I have
- 15:04Speaker 1: a team, and here for hey, I wish you got Jay.
- 15:08Speaker 1: This is just stuff that loss say when the team
- 15:10Speaker 1: when the team is losing, just things they say, at
- 15:13Speaker 1: least they got championship ring. What's your team got what
- 15:18Speaker 1: to do with? He said that if you literally can't
- 15:23Speaker 1: say you got one hey, damn one word. Word Damn,
- 15:36Speaker 1: that's it. That's one word, Tommy. You got to be alright.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, I know he doesn't really want to play.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I'm an alumni member, dash right, I'm with them when
- 15:59Speaker 1: they win. And you know, damn with all them kids
- 16:04Speaker 1: of age, I got no got nine. People say when
- 16:12Speaker 1: their team is losing, come on, let's go turning on
- 16:16Speaker 1: the old to bat mitten. Just just turned it to
- 16:20Speaker 1: bat mitten. I didn't get into that on the reluctant one.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I can't believe it's Sunday. I tell you what they
- 16:34Speaker 1: losing stuff. People say when the team loves because they
- 16:38Speaker 1: got that white boy quarterback. And this is what they
- 16:46Speaker 1: say when they say when they lose him, you don't
- 16:50Speaker 1: even know how to play. So don't even know why
- 16:52Speaker 1: you talking. I don't know. I get a lot. Just
- 17:04Speaker 1: stop watching tear into the hockey game. Let's just watch that. Uh,
- 17:12Speaker 1: anybody told the Browns we supposed to be playing what
- 17:18Speaker 1: anybody told the Browns we supposed to be playing? Time?
- 17:24Speaker 1: He can't just keep letting him run. He get real
- 17:27Speaker 1: man hack on flag football. It don't matter to me.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I ain't got no money on the game. No damn
- 17:37Speaker 1: rationalize that thing. People say when the team is losing, you,
- 17:42Speaker 1: I'm about to burn this jerset. I'm gonna set your
- 17:46Speaker 1: damn jersey on file. Keep playing last week for me.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I don't know why they's gonna sell the damn team.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Come see, I'm really from Philip Deal, not even from
- 18:07Speaker 1: a whole nother city. Keep on running your mouth. You're
- 18:12Speaker 1: about to piss me off. Okay, I'll tell you what
- 18:20Speaker 1: why they're winning. They got a lot of Pro Bowl players,
- 18:23Speaker 1: got a lot of people in Pro Bowl on the team.
- 18:25Speaker 1: That's why we ain't got for two here here, this one.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Somebody really got up to it. I'm gonna tell you
- 18:31Speaker 1: right now, you're gonna mess around and let them cowboys
- 18:33Speaker 1: help you get your ass right now. They say that
- 18:37Speaker 1: for real, really say that. Some people say when their
- 18:43Speaker 1: team is Mister Steve Harvey, all right, I'm gonna say
- 18:49Speaker 1: this and get on out this When you really don't
- 18:53Speaker 1: have a logical explanation as to why your team keep
- 18:57Speaker 1: losing Sunday after Sunday, you're ready count the white people
- 19:01Speaker 1: on the team team, No, s got to do exactly.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Get the whole people on that one one. That's it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: That's got seven white people. Team. You can't win with
- 19:24Speaker 1: seven white people, but the whole yea talking about you're
- 19:31Speaker 1: so confused at that point, always so racist. Count the
- 19:37Speaker 1: white people on tea. Yeah, that's what you your team.
- 19:41Speaker 1: You know, when all else fails racial, you know, they
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't play good on the road. That's what it is. Yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 1: all right, stuff people say when their team is losing,
- 19:58Speaker 1: count the white people on the ta. I have to
- 20:02Speaker 1: play with a lot of white people. I know what
- 20:04Speaker 1: that means. Oh my god, that is so true. A minute, yeah, dog,
- 20:12Speaker 1: that's when you really dealt with your team. You're giving up.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Give it when you try to throw that out. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 1: they're always losing it with them Jerseys. Man. Stuff people
- 20:29Speaker 1: say when their team is losing. I knew it. I
- 20:33Speaker 1: knew it. I knew it when I woke up. That's
- 20:35Speaker 1: why I ain't got no money. All right, guys, this
- 20:40Speaker 1: is stuff people say when their team is losing. You guys,
- 20:45Speaker 1: you know that thing. I'm gonna get it, getting another
- 20:46Speaker 1: piece of pack that always by always out right here,
- 20:54Speaker 1: y'all ain't want all y'all games right done there? Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna head working moment. I think they have watching
- 21:13Speaker 1: what happened? Come on closing out? See more time you
- 21:20Speaker 1: know lebron nem on eleven games see Colombo? All right,
- 21:35Speaker 1: more craziness coming up right after this. You're listening to
- 21:39Speaker 1: show it is time for something funny, guys. And here's
- 21:43Speaker 1: a question for you. Are your elderly relatives, you know,
- 21:47Speaker 1: the ones to a little up in age, of course,
- 21:49Speaker 1: are they becoming annoying with their texting? You know, as
- 21:54Speaker 1: annoying as young people with their texting and stuff like that.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Do you regret your parents and you're in law people
- 22:00Speaker 1: like that, other relatives having a smartphone. They don't know
- 22:03Speaker 1: what they're doing and they can't see the screen. Good
- 22:09Speaker 1: it ain't. My mom would say called him, and they'd
- 22:12Speaker 1: be saying, called Hope. You'd be like, come on, now,
- 22:16Speaker 1: you don't have to work on this, but they expect
- 22:19Speaker 1: you to know. Why do you Why didn't you call
- 22:22Speaker 1: me back? You call me a hole? My brother, my
- 22:28Speaker 1: brothers and sisters. What Steve see, I'm the youngest in
- 22:32Speaker 1: my family, so my my my brother eleven years older
- 22:36Speaker 1: than me, my sister twenty one years older. Yep, so
- 22:41Speaker 1: I got damn the old people in my family. My
- 22:45Speaker 1: sister Poly got a flip phone, so she texted and
- 22:49Speaker 1: won't change, but got to hit the number of certain
- 22:52Speaker 1: money and Lord Jesus, it's like when her texts come up,
- 22:59Speaker 1: it's damn Morrish code. I got a brand people that
- 23:07Speaker 1: specializes in encryption to read damn. Like at the end
- 23:17Speaker 1: when she signed love Poly, it says something like Lo
- 23:21Speaker 1: PAULA what I just go Lo Paul? What the hell
- 23:28Speaker 1: is lo Paul? Because you know their patients is short.
- 23:31Speaker 1: You just going to see that sound that sounds fine,
- 23:35Speaker 1: he'll know what I'm talking about. No, my grandmother just
- 23:38Speaker 1: got the internet last year from Christmas. She got the internet.
- 23:42Speaker 1: It's not even take na. She emailing me, moning, that's
- 23:48Speaker 1: the whole email. I will never get it, moaning. Then
- 23:52Speaker 1: she'll come, did you get my email? She just got it?
- 23:59Speaker 1: What she doing? I love that. That's the second Aman.
- 24:03Speaker 1: They don't even have nothing to do with nothing. I
- 24:06Speaker 1: told my brother. I told my brother, I said, hey, man,
- 24:09Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't believe stuff that you read about
- 24:14Speaker 1: me online. My brother said, where is that? Where's the
- 24:21Speaker 1: land Stoke? I love that. Did he get mad when
- 24:28Speaker 1: he read stuff about you? Like? He get man like

- 24:44Speaker 1: tea off. Nobody love bro. That's his whole take. Don't
- 24:53Speaker 1: take sugar honey, iced tea off. Nobody love bro. Man,
- 25:00Speaker 1: Danny see something else then here just text me fall though,
- 25:06Speaker 1: seeing and I'm that is your brother and I oh
- 25:11Speaker 1: my brother man. I mean, he's all he texts men.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But on the flip side, have have your kids ever
- 25:19Speaker 1: like taking your phone? Just give it to me. Mom,
- 25:21Speaker 1: I'll do it, Dad, I'll do it. Yeah. They don't
- 25:25Speaker 1: know how to go into another settings I need. Yeah. Yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 1: especially my daughter, she's so everything she texts emojis. It's
- 25:33Speaker 1: just absolutely I don't even know what half those emojis mean.
- 25:38Speaker 1: But Steve, you're awfully choired right now. I don't really.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I said, I sent my daughter some emojis the other day,
- 25:47Speaker 1: just messing with her. Uh, she said, Dad, what does
- 25:52Speaker 1: this mean? I said, Hell, you sent him. I don't
- 25:57Speaker 1: know what yours mean. I just said some eyeball, some
- 26:02Speaker 1: black feet and a ghost eyeballs another, I'm sure to kill,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I'm sure to kill, I kill you. Describe what I said.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Remember we used to call him images images Imagy. Then
- 26:22Speaker 1: ended with one hundred everything, my favorite one on what
- 26:29Speaker 1: I said, eyeball, roll all right, he gonna tell you
- 26:32Speaker 1: what I said. Okay, this fool sent some black feet,
- 26:38Speaker 1: uh huh, the looking ass, one eyeball and a ghost.
- 26:45Speaker 1: What does that mean? So then my daughter said, give
- 26:49Speaker 1: me that. Tell him what I said. You said, hello,
- 26:54Speaker 1: respond please? I knew that through a little last city.
- 27:03Speaker 1: She said, l m a O. I wasn't really sure
- 27:07Speaker 1: what to say to that. Then a little crime face.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, so I said, that's laughing. So I told
- 27:16Speaker 1: her what it said. That's laughing, stick face, the tears smiles,
- 27:23Speaker 1: that's laughing. That's laughing. Yeah yeah, ain't they just got
- 27:28Speaker 1: a smiling face for that? Well yeah, but that's that means?
- 27:32Speaker 1: So then text what I that's this is what I
- 27:35Speaker 1: texted her. Okay, so he explains all the emotions. Now
- 27:40Speaker 1: she said, I don't know what that means. I don't
- 27:42Speaker 1: know how to respond. So now I said, okay, check
- 27:44Speaker 1: this out. It says black feet. Let's go. I see,
- 27:50Speaker 1: I means I'll see ghosts. If you're surprised. That's that's
- 27:56Speaker 1: all that means. Because we were going to have a
- 28:00Speaker 1: lunch date. That's prison code. Hey boy, my daughter, but no,
- 28:05Speaker 1: damn prison Okay, crazy snap, but really, Steve though their photos.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's what I'm talking code. It's the code.
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm not getting dog, that's crazy. The ghost. Let's go,
- 28:32Speaker 1: I say, see the eyeball, I see, I see see
- 28:37Speaker 1: eyeball and then the ghost. If you surprise, yeah, you
- 28:40Speaker 1: do better just call yeah, they have a surprised face
- 28:44Speaker 1: on there. Coming up more of a Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 28:47Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 28:53Speaker 1: time for church complaints. Pastor Motown Deacon death jam in
- 28:56Speaker 1: the building. What you got? Um? It is obviously decision time.
- 29:10Speaker 1: We've been going forward and back. What about the complaints,
- 29:17Speaker 1: whether we're doing them or whether we ain't? No bad?
- 29:23Speaker 1: All right, well if you say so, I'm here. I
- 29:27Speaker 1: have plenty of complaint. I know you do. I know
- 29:31Speaker 1: you do. Go ahead, Deacon, go ahead, all right, pass
- 29:35Speaker 1: the eye first and foremost, Deacon Fred Flintstown and Deacon
- 29:39Speaker 1: Varney Robber, I ask him for you to have a
- 29:44Speaker 1: shoe drive so they can get their shoes down because
- 29:49Speaker 1: right now they are bad footing and it is starting
- 29:52Speaker 1: to be a problem with them driving. Well, I'm Jay
- 29:59Speaker 1: like here, Fred and Barney, we are not buying any
- 30:06Speaker 1: more damn shoes unless no listen to me. They don't
- 30:12Speaker 1: have any shoes at out. I know they don't, and
- 30:15Speaker 1: I know why because they won't upgrade their call. If
- 30:21Speaker 1: you're trying to stop your car with your damn feet
- 30:24Speaker 1: like we prehistoric, we're not buying no more damn shoes
- 30:27Speaker 1: from Fred and Barney. But past that, they have seventy
- 30:33Speaker 1: two Chevy or something. But they have worn out all
- 30:36Speaker 1: of the sandals. They won their sandals out trying to
- 30:39Speaker 1: stop them. Prehistoric called with them times made out of rocks.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Right now times have changed. Get yourself something. I understand
- 30:53Speaker 1: where you're coming from, path, but but we're not having
- 30:56Speaker 1: a shoe drive for them all right, bam. But they
- 31:02Speaker 1: are wanting a shoe drive or something. The words or
- 31:07Speaker 1: my daddy, people in hell gonna want ice water. What
- 31:12Speaker 1: they gotta do with the shoe drive. We ain't from there.
- 31:17Speaker 1: You don't think they have any ice water in the air, No,
- 31:20Speaker 1: I don't. There's been no mention over the revelation. All right,
- 31:26Speaker 1: well let's just keep it going out a technical Bible
- 31:30Speaker 1: versus him. It twists his little evil mind. Go ahead,
- 31:36Speaker 1: all right. Down to a sister, Sharnice Williams has had
- 31:40Speaker 1: her fifth child and it wants to know why the
- 31:46Speaker 1: church is not supporting her child fund. She has got
- 31:50Speaker 1: it a child fund on the website. Well, they can
- 31:54Speaker 1: donate money to the cheering, but but nobody in the
- 31:58Speaker 1: church has donated in her name. Sharinese Williams tell Sharnese
- 32:05Speaker 1: Williams the reason we ain't donating to nothing to her
- 32:08Speaker 1: child fun because they have a turn for that. It's
- 32:12Speaker 1: called child support. And if you find the five men
- 32:16Speaker 1: daddies and we can pin something on them with some
- 32:20Speaker 1: DNA or some paternity tests, she could get child support.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Batter you sound like you we look at we're looking
- 32:28Speaker 1: at forensic files or something. I don't understand what where
- 32:31Speaker 1: you're going. I don't understand how a woman had a
- 32:35Speaker 1: fifth baby and don't look the daddy or that one
- 32:37Speaker 1: either wants us to help her with a fun. Well,
- 32:41Speaker 1: the hell was helping her with a fun We need
- 32:43Speaker 1: to help her find someone. Ladies and gentlemen without full
- 32:52Speaker 1: or do someone with more intelligence than my deacon. Please
- 32:58Speaker 1: welcome the honorable but legitly beloved miss A and true.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Thanks Steve. Good morning everybody. This is a trip with
- 33:08Speaker 1: the news. Okay, our right wing federal judge in California
- 33:11Speaker 1: ruled on Friday that the Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional. However,
- 33:15Speaker 1: Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer was on NBC's Meet the Press,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and he says it's not going to be that easy
- 33:20Speaker 1: to get rid of Obamacare, not as easy as the
- 33:23Speaker 1: GOP thinks. A lot of this depends on Congressional intent,
- 33:26Speaker 1: and if a majority of the House and a majority
- 33:28Speaker 1: of the Senate say that this case should be overturned,
- 33:31Speaker 1: it'll have a tremendous effect on the appeal. Even Missouri
- 33:34Speaker 1: Republican Senator Roy Blunt says that Friday's ruling has no
- 33:37Speaker 1: immediate impact until the case can be appealed. Me While,
- 33:40Speaker 1: on another matter, White House Senior Policy Advises Stephen Miller
- 33:44Speaker 1: insists that Trump will allow the government to partially shut
- 33:47Speaker 1: down at the end of this week if the Congress
- 33:49Speaker 1: doesn't authorize the five billion dollars he wants for the
- 33:52Speaker 1: border wall, but to that, Santa Schumer says that the
- 33:54Speaker 1: President should start dealing with reality. President Trump should understand
- 33:59Speaker 1: there are not the votes for the wall in the
- 34:02Speaker 1: House or the Senate. He is not going to get
- 34:04Speaker 1: the wall in any form again. Sena Shumer was interviewed
- 34:08Speaker 1: on NBC's Meet the Press. Critics say that the House
- 34:12Speaker 1: and Senate were dominated by the GOP for two years
- 34:15Speaker 1: and they didn't get the border wall. Another member of
- 34:17Speaker 1: the Trump administrations leaving and may soon be under investigation,
- 34:21Speaker 1: this time at Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinky. And
- 34:24Speaker 1: Zinky's departure comes after two years marked with allegations of misconduct.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Zinky promised to model himself after President Theodore Roosevelt, who
- 34:32Speaker 1: believed in the conservation of public lands. However, Zinky's critics
- 34:36Speaker 1: say he opened more coastal waters and public lands to
- 34:39Speaker 1: oil and gas leasing, that he recommended the shrinking of
- 34:42Speaker 1: as many as four national monuments, and Zinky initiated, they say,
- 34:46Speaker 1: the rollback of a number of Obama era environmental regulations.
- 34:49Speaker 1: Trump tweets a Zinky did a great job and that
- 34:51Speaker 1: his replacement will be announced this week. By the way,
- 34:54Speaker 1: his personal lawyer, and talk about the president's personal lawyer,
- 34:56Speaker 1: Rudy Giuliani says, quote over my dead body when asked
- 35:00Speaker 1: if a president Trump would answer questions in person from
- 35:02Speaker 1: special counsel Robert Mueller. A Florida man is on trial
- 35:05Speaker 1: in the latest murder case involving that state's controversial standard
- 35:09Speaker 1: ground law, this time a white man named Michael Draker
- 35:11Speaker 1: seen on surveillance video confronting a young black woman who
- 35:14Speaker 1: was sitting in a car parked in a handicapped space.
- 35:17Speaker 1: The video shows Drake's verbal assaults on the woman getting
- 35:19Speaker 1: louder and louder as she defends herself. The woman's husband,
- 35:22Speaker 1: Marquis McLaughlin, sees his wife being Harris, exits the store,
- 35:26Speaker 1: pushes the man to the ground. The white man gets
- 35:29Speaker 1: up and, without saying anything, fatally shoots a young black man.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Draker claims he was following the law. He's charged with manslaughter.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Tops to the box office this weekend. Spider Man into
- 35:38Speaker 1: the Spider Earth. My name is Miles Morale. I'm a
- 35:43Speaker 1: born and only Spider Man. At least this is what
- 35:46Speaker 1: I thought. Remember what makes you different, That's what makes
- 35:51Speaker 1: you and spider Man brought in thirty five point four million.
- 35:55Speaker 1: They were tops. Back to Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 35:58Speaker 1: listening String show. All right, Jay, it's time now for
- 36:02Speaker 1: comedy Roulette that go. It takes food subjects, put them
- 36:08Speaker 1: on a wheel, spun the wheel with stop we do

- 36:31Speaker 1: ain't saying this house is nasty, but okay, number four,
- 36:39Speaker 1: that's not what you said when they were out of
- 36:41Speaker 1: the room. Okay, I'm just saying that's not what you're
- 36:43Speaker 1: saying when they were Yeah, all right, come on, cat,
- 36:52Speaker 1: see where it's gonna stop. Wait a minute, I stopped it.

- 37:39Speaker 1: Hey man, look at uh. I ain't really saying your
- 37:43Speaker 1: house nasty, but do your dog always go right now?

- 48:54Speaker 1: had to go. I told you I drink a lot
- 48:56Speaker 1: of fluids in this heat. Man, what else do you

- 51:19Speaker 1: mean I've been you know, you know you since Junior

- 51:39Speaker 1: You tell me what you think. Tell this boy. If

- 52:00Speaker 1: what a rabbits foot, you're even You're not gonna get
- 52:04Speaker 1: this seven. Nothing's going to happen to get even believe
- 52:11Speaker 1: that stupid falling out. I don't really understand where he's
- 52:18Speaker 1: coming from with that. I don't know why he thinks
- 52:22Speaker 1: like that. That right, there is some ignorant thinking. Ain't
- 52:26Speaker 1: the rabbit luck and bad luck years? Right? Then? If
- 52:34Speaker 1: you break it with you, I'm saying, yeah, no, no,
- 52:38Speaker 1: nobody seen. Well. The thing about this segment is the
- 52:41Speaker 1: I three with that thing. He said he'll go to one.

- 52:49Speaker 1: dry ice, you can take a bath and not get wet.

- 53:13Speaker 1: you want our advice, all you have to do is
- 53:15Speaker 1: submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey FM dot com. Alright, nephew,
- 53:20Speaker 1: let's go just like this one. Buggle lap, Hold on tight,
- 53:22Speaker 1: We got it for you. It is the Strawberry Letter,
- 53:25Speaker 1: all right. Subject, Me and my man have a little situation.
- 53:31Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I met a gentleman seven months ago.
- 53:34Speaker 1: I'm forty five and he's thirty seven. When we met,
- 53:38Speaker 1: he lived three hours away, so he decided to move
- 53:42Speaker 1: to my area. It's been four months now since we've
- 53:45Speaker 1: been in the same city, and I'm starting to see
- 53:48Speaker 1: issues with him. He didn't have a plan in place
- 53:51Speaker 1: when he moved to my city, and now he's living
- 53:54Speaker 1: in a shelter because I told him he cannot live
- 53:57Speaker 1: with me. He doesn't have a car and I refused
- 54:00Speaker 1: to drive him around. He does have a job. In fact,
- 54:04Speaker 1: he's had three different jobs since he's been here. He
- 54:07Speaker 1: has been fired from each job because he has an
- 54:10Speaker 1: issue with the way people talk to him. See, he
- 54:14Speaker 1: has issues with being short. He is only five three ware.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I'm out out a break, but I'm not going to
- 54:25Speaker 1: do this. Yeah, let me just say yes, thank you, Jeeves.
- 54:30Speaker 1: I told you you were gonna love it, and I
- 54:33Speaker 1: asked you enough you to stick around. I'm going to
- 54:36Speaker 1: break round. We're a team, all right. See. He has
- 54:41Speaker 1: issues with being short. He's only five three. I am
- 54:45Speaker 1: five two, so his height doesn't bother me, but it
- 54:48Speaker 1: bothers him. He has short patience with people. I believe
- 54:53Speaker 1: he's been abused by a woman before because he always
- 54:56Speaker 1: thinks I'm talking down to him and belittling him. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: jokingly push these issues to the side, but it's getting old.
- 55:04Speaker 1: I'm getting to the point where I want to end
- 55:06Speaker 1: this relationship. Can I help him overcome this or should
- 55:10Speaker 1: I just let him work through his own problems alone?
- 55:13Speaker 1: Please help turn let me get back. I tell you're
- 55:23Speaker 1: gonna love it, and you're welcome. By the way, You're welcome. Listen.
- 55:27Speaker 1: You may not have a problem with his height, but
- 55:29Speaker 1: he certainly does, and you got to let him work
- 55:33Speaker 1: it out on his own. There are things that you
- 55:34Speaker 1: can help help him do. I don't know. Maybe take
- 55:37Speaker 1: him to therapy so he can deal with it that way.
- 55:40Speaker 1: But there's nothing you can do about his problem with
- 55:43Speaker 1: his height. You cannot change people. You cannot change him.
- 55:48Speaker 1: You've only known him for seven months. It made me think,
- 55:51Speaker 1: did you see him before you guys you know, got together.
- 55:55Speaker 1: But I guess you did because you would have said
- 55:56Speaker 1: that if you didn't. But now he's moved, you guys
- 56:00Speaker 1: and talk about what was going to happen, where he
- 56:02Speaker 1: was going to live, whether or not he had a car.
- 56:04Speaker 1: You guys didn't discuss any of that before he moved
- 56:07Speaker 1: to the same city. How can he's had three jobs
- 56:11Speaker 1: since he's been there. He's only been there what four months?
- 56:14Speaker 1: He has an issue with the way people talk to him.
- 56:17Speaker 1: This is crazy. These are things that he has to
- 56:20Speaker 1: deal with on his own, and he's probably been dealing
- 56:22Speaker 1: with for the majority of his adult life. You don't
- 56:26Speaker 1: care because he's still taller than you at five two.
- 56:29Speaker 1: So I don't know if you're going to be able
- 56:33Speaker 1: to help him overcome this, because he's got to do
- 56:36Speaker 1: it first. The only thing you can do is to
- 56:38Speaker 1: be there to support him. Yeah, he's going to have
- 56:41Speaker 1: to work through these problems alone. I don't know if
- 56:44Speaker 1: this relationship is going to last because he can't keep
- 56:47Speaker 1: a job. He lives in a shelter. I mean, you know,
- 56:51Speaker 1: and you want him to do better. I'm sure, but
- 56:53Speaker 1: he can't because of he has a problem with being little.
- 56:57Speaker 1: You know, he needs counseling. I think see where turned now,
- 57:02Speaker 1: Uncle Steve the flat boy, I ain't got the time,
- 57:08Speaker 1: good advice. This is not the time to be funny
- 57:10Speaker 1: and be rude and stuff. Okay, please don't start it out, Steve,
- 57:14Speaker 1: as dear Tommy don't supposed to be. I'm the one
- 57:16Speaker 1: to get stupid about you. Steven should wait. Now, this
- 57:23Speaker 1: lady met this man seven. Y'all need to stop. Let
- 57:26Speaker 1: me down, let me go, don't let me down. I
- 57:28Speaker 1: promise you down. I'm farted five years old. He thirty seven.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Down right now? He shot he down? Eight years he
- 57:44Speaker 1: already he now he's eight years shout he already and
- 57:48Speaker 1: equated this the inches you can believe that you farted
- 57:54Speaker 1: five He thirty seven. When we met, he lived three
- 57:57Speaker 1: hours away, so he decided to move to my area.
- 58:01Speaker 1: It's been four months now since we've been in the
- 58:03Speaker 1: same city. Here's the line in this letter that really
- 58:07Speaker 1: amazes me. I'm starting to see issues with him, really,
- 58:14Speaker 1: So here we go he didn't have a plan in
- 58:17Speaker 1: place when he moved to my city. He now living
- 58:20Speaker 1: in a shelter. Your man that you dating, the one
- 58:25Speaker 1: that moved to your city, is now living in the shelter.
- 58:31Speaker 1: So when you go by, pop in to see him,
- 58:36Speaker 1: how's that working for you? Where you sick at the shelter?
- 58:45Speaker 1: Little man ain't got no home. Oh you get in
- 58:52Speaker 1: my house. Listen to me. Tiny houses they got This
- 59:01Speaker 1: boy could have had a place by now. Tiny house
- 59:07Speaker 1: nation is old TV. Well left. Part two of Steve's
- 59:11Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour you're
- 59:14Speaker 1: listening Steve Morning Show. All right, Steve, come on part two. Okay,
- 59:20Speaker 1: your response. Now I left y'all with this woman dating
- 59:22Speaker 1: this shout man. Yeah, me and my man have a
- 59:25Speaker 1: little situation. Yeah. Now she fied, he fired three, she
- 59:29Speaker 1: fired two, So that don't bother her. It's an eight
- 59:32Speaker 1: year difference in him because she farty five, he thirty seven.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Now he'd have moved into town, but he ain't got
- 59:40Speaker 1: no plan. She won't let him live with him, so
- 59:42Speaker 1: he lived in a shelter. I was just wondering how
- 59:46Speaker 1: it is for her when she stopped back. How you
- 59:49Speaker 1: gonna see your man at a shelter where you sick.
- 59:52Speaker 1: What you end of the bed, he's yours because one
- 59:55Speaker 1: thing I know from being a homeless you can't sit
- 59:57Speaker 1: on another homeless person stuff. Not that's ruining number one,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: that's all late got. You don't touch my grocery car.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: You don't put your hand on my duct tape. You
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: don't get away from this blanket. He doesn't have a job,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: he doesn't have a car, and I refuse to drive
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: him around. So now he just trying to walk around
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: him the lead. Well he does have a job, Well
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: excuse him. He got a job, but he ain't got
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: no car. You refuse. Now he got to try everywhere.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: In fact, Tina had three different jobs since he's been here.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: He's been fried from Me's job because he has an
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: issue with the way people talk to him. And old Lord,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: how many times have we run into this the right
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: show because we are dealing with this ourselves, and I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: want to thank you for the opportunity to give us
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to vent some of the things that we've been going through.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Because we got somebody on this show that has an
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: issue with the way people talk to him. He stayed
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: touching he edgy all the damn time. Some are always wrong.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: He always offended. See, he has an issue with being short. Thing, Ji,
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: wouldn't you have an issue with being short of you?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Five foot three? Now? She says, so his height doesn't
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: bother me, but it bothers him. He has short patience
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: with people. What you want him to have long patience,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: he don't. He don't like nobody because he edgy. He
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: always assumed it's about his height. He produced the thought
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: that we had to produce on this show. If you
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: throw a rock in a pack of dogs, wonder Holly
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: if the one hit. Every time we mentioned height on
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: this show, we got one jump to conclusion that we're
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: talking about him even when we not, like right now,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I can bet you he think we talked about his
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: ass right now now, She says, I believe that he's
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: been abused by a woman before because he always think
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I'm talking down to him. That's because the women he
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: dated was taller. They was talking down to him. It
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: happens to Tom, excuse me, it happens to this person
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: we refer to all the time I'm talking. That kind
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: of slipped out. Now. I believe he's been abused by
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: a woman because they always think I'm talking down to him.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I jokingly pushed these issues to the side. But he's
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: getting old. I'm getting to the point where I want
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to end this relationship. Can I help him overcome this?
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I want to answer that for you in just a second.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Or should I just let him work through his own
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: problems alone? Can I help him overcome this? No? You cannot, No,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you cannot. This person can be fifty. You ain't gonna
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: be able to help them, because that's a big number.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: He thirty seven. I'd have seen this go all the
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: way up to at least I know fifty fifty for
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: damn showing we ain't been able to help him yet.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Or should you let him work through his own problems alone?
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: He can't. He has no answers for this because he
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: touches all the damn time. It's all ways about him.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Little people got big issues. Little man. Shot patients, they
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: got shot legs, they got short arms, they're sending up.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Everything about him is shot. But one thing about sharp people,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: they get a job. Though I don't care what nobody's say,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: they always working. I'm surprised why he had a shot
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: shuter at five three. He could easily sign up for
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: foster killer, but he could be in somebody's house. Get
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: the horo. Yeah, he can get in the house because
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: he shocked. And once again, why is he out of
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: work and ain't got nowhere to stay? Why is he
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: in the shelter? Listen? I was watching tiny houses the
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: other day, Tiny house Nation. This be like a mansion
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: for him. Matter of fact. You take this little lass
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: house and you rename it. You can call it like
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: a shadeau or something. Give it a big name, and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: it be just for little people. Wow. See that's how
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: you do it, genius. You take a little house and
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: give it a big name. See, you ain't gotta call
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: it tiny house, call it a shadeau. All of the
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: rooms pomp out, lift up a lead that was a
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: cupboard for clothes and stuff. It's a bathtub stand you
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: climb up stairs for storage, and a little loft. You
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: move that stuff out the way. It's a bunk band man.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: The stove and the toilet is the same thing that
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: you fit the food on the toilet. Then you move
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: all the stuff out the way and lift the lid
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: up and you put the food that you just eat
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: down in the toilet. I can't go with you on
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: that one. Now, this is for tiny houses. Surely you
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: ain't got too because you have a hole. But the
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: people right here shop people like this can do stuff
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: like that. I've seen it done. You're right, I'm fine,
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I'm a man. I'm gonna be all right now. You
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: all right, you ain't fine. Yeah, you a man, But
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: it's two things you ain't You ain't fine, and you're
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: not tall, and you damn near this letter. We have
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: seen see some of the things that were dealing with.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: All Right, Steve, we gotta get out of here. You
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: can email us or Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Strawberry letter at my girl Shirley coming up, it's more
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, Jay, Now explain this. This
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: is holiday phrases, at the Christmas holiday phrases at the

- 1:13:10Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. You're listening to show. All right,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: it is time for something funny, guys. And you know
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: people are getting ready for work right now, probably and
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: uh maybe they're making their own lunch. You know people
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: do that at home. Well, Steve, it turns out that
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: eighteen percent of people have admitted to eating someone else's
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: lunch at the office. One worker's live tweeting of the
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: mystery of a co worker stolen shrimp fried rice was
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: retweeted over one hundred and seventy three thousand times. Okay, uh,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: and while you may think it's funny, and it is
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: kind of funny, I mean when you think about it, um,
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: you know, getting away with eating someone else's meal it
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: actually could have some serious consequences on the job. People
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: don't forget stuff like this, and you see these people
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: every single day is according to a human resource expert,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: it becomes a trust issue. So Steve, I have to
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: ask you, I know you did know? He didn't do
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: it often? No, never in my life taking somebody's food,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: because I ain't that way. I don't lie. I don't
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: know you. Oh so you don't know what kind of
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: home they have at? How clean? Right now? Two things
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: I have done, I've had mine taken. Yeah, I've called
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: a person what happened? And I've had I've seen a
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: person taking a person's line. Okay, well what happened when
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: someone took cure? Both these is now situations I used
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: to my advantage. So yeah, they see not you don't
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: want this out, So now I need a couple of favors.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: You the mom, No dog, I mean, look, I saw
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: you because I'm real observing. Y'all know that about me.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: I'm extreme, we observed. So I'm watching this dude still,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: this dude food and the dude food he was still.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: He's deceased. His name is James Paradise, and we worked
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: at General Electric and this dude was taking Jared James
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: paradig Leca jaka cook his ass off and he was
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: just eating James lunch every night then and I caught him. Now,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: if I tell this to James Paradise dog, I'm talking
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: about you've fen to get drug out in the parking
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: lot and when you come back in, you're gonna need
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: to show the people that to do your id. You know,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: like sandwiches. You know James cook ribs, He take his ribs.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: You know he made pork shoulders sandwich. You should bring
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: it in to work for everybody. He stole his pork
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: shoulders sandwich and James was getting upset. So I saw
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: him take James stalk. It was his young white dude
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: that was still in the food because he was single,
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and you know he wouldn't bring no lunch, had the
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: times a stupid ass boy. So I told him, I say, man,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: you know, if Jane find out you want taking his lunch, man,
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: you know what's gonna happen to you? Cheese? Wait, what
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: come on, chez? Yeah, that's what I need see. Once
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I hear that fear in your voice, then I got
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: your ass now, because all geez it's not a hood turn,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: he said. Ah. I said, look hold on, man, this
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: ain't got to gonna wear No. Look, this can stay
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: right here. But I'm need a couple of favors. Man.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Now I'm gonna leave early Wednesday. I need you to
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: cover my job for me. See see, it's not a
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: problem with me, Steve. It's mister Harvey. Harvey. No, now
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: you're gonna put some speck on my next I was
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: the original birds man. Yeah, yeah, you word. So you're
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: gonna put some speck on my name. And so I
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: had him cover cover my job like three times for that.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Then I saw a dude take my lunch. This is
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: a black dude had it just got hired, and he
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: would hadn't completed his ninety day probation. Now if I
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: report this, you ain't gonna get the job. Oh man,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I'm so sorry. I thought it was mine. Out of hell.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Your name ain't Steve Gregory. It's Gregory. Your name Frederick
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: fred stev get confused with Frederick, right right, So I said,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: so Frederick, look here, man, I'm just need a couple
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: of figures from it. Man. Now I'm gonna come in late.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: I need you to punch my time clock. When you
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: get at the gate, punch my time clock from me.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Hit me in. Oh that's that's that's that's not a problem.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Now listen to me. They have a camera aimed at
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: the time clock, so you got to put your back
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: to the camera. So he did it the first time.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: How do you know all of this? Come on, no, no, no,
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me, Tom Hula, I was never a thug. Hula.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Hulum was crime with a purpose, with respect. Thugs just
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: out here doing stuff. Thus, crimes with a purpose, and
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: it was always to better uplift one self. Yes, at
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: the expensive Yeah, And so that's what I had him
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: do so I could leave early caused it a little
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: white dude, and I could come in late black causing
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: Frederick Wow. So I had him a nice little set up.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: And then meanwhile at school he was you know, hall
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: passage crime, the first huzzling. Yeah, y'all need passes to
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: be late in this hallway? Who name you put on it? See,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: my name was never on a hall pass, So I
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: ain't no need you talking about you got it from
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Steve because I ain't got no hall pass. Because I
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: had told her back off my locker anyway. Yeah, and
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: so I kept my stuff. I told her back off
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: my locker. I don't get that. I have the harder
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: bent down and I put on my step behind. So
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: if you open my locking, I ain't never had nothing.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Oh I get okay? Yeah, so Steve gave you a
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: hall pa. How the hell I got hall passed? I'm
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: in class, not learning. I'm here miss. Two days in
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: high school, two cut days all I ever did? Man, Oh, woe,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: your life has been in been wonderful, it really really

- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Are you still a hoodler? No? I no, I don't
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: do crime. I had a little running. I had a
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: little running. Kind of straighten me out coming up. It's
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: more of a Steve Harvey Morning show. You're listening to show. Okay, guys,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: check this out. According to a survey by the health
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: site it's called doctor ed dot com, eighteen percent of
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: us have one of these in our lives right now?
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: What is it? Wow? Eighteen what's the percentage? Eighteen percent
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: of us have one of these in our lives? What
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: do you think it is? Right now? Tell me what
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: you say, I said, side peace, and I know it's
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: end a percent it could be it could be greater percentage. Okay,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: so Tommy says, side piece, that's so much higher percentage? Wow,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: eighteen percent? Let oh no, go ahead of Jake. Somebody
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: in that family that's affected by either diabetes or heart trouble. Okay,

- 1:21:12Speaker 1: a friend with benefits? Oh, Tommy was wrong, That's what
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I was saying, Tommy, right, hold on, it's way. So
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: can you have intimacy with no commitment? Yea, what you
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: think we're doing? Yeah, can do it. Intimacy? What what
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: intimacy with no commitment? Yeah? You can do that. That's
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: what this all calm so like, that's the point. I
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: did what it's called, it's called the end of a
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: marriage a couple times. You know it, well, yeah, I
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: know it. Well you're gonna be up there to night.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, let's do it. Okay, Well whatever intimacy with
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: no commitment, Oh yeah, you can do that. That's that's
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: what it is. But what's more than them committed? The
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: goal is to find somebody who don't have a problem
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: with you. Tom I your lifetime. Give me a number, Timmy,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: how many women have you been involved with over your lifetime?
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Give me a number? Right there? Dog? You said, what
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: see it throws with hod on? Hold on, let me
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: ask your question, Tommy, this is gonna throw the women?
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: Is it more than forty? Oh? Hell? What that throws
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: women off? When you say more than forty? Oh yeah? Yeah, Hell,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I'm fitty. What is your timber? That's a low number
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: to you? My roaring my roaring twenties was incredible. What
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: are you talking about? What about you see with another
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: zero on that for that? When you're talking to him?
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: What's some spec only numbers for numbers in my whole life?
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Did you multiply? Jesus, hey, you got to use that
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: new man these kids got when you tell my stuff
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: like this, there's a different kind of man when you
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: don't carry that one. You don't care in your whole
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: life feed thing in my whole life it at minimum numbers.
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: Crazy that you went over a thousand d I ain't
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: know where there on thousand? Dog? Ain't you you you
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: you you You're we're changing in the same group. Agent,
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: ain't no way. I ain't never been with that. But
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: in my lifetime dog, my whole life, the whole runs.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I'm the actually dog. I mean, I'm shamed, not real,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I knew yours. I'm saying because if you look at
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: that number, it's really it's it's numbing, it's really, it's
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: kind of crazy. I'm shame. I'm not gonna say I haven't.
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not shaming. No, I've only been with
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: seven women, and you know, damn you've been married eight
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: ten so you just didn't even food whatever? Who did
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you just forget about? Coming up? It's more of the
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty three after the hour.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, guys, time
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: for church complaints pastor Motown Deacon death jam in the building.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: What you got m It is obviously decision time. We've
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: been going forward and back. What about the complaints, whether
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: we're doing them or whether we ain't? No man, all right, well,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: if you say so, I'm here have plenty of complained.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: I know you do. I know you do. Go ahead,
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Deacon go ahead, all right, past the eye first and
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: foremost Deacon Fred Flintstown and Deacon Barney Robber. I ask
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: him for you to have a shoe drive so they
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: can get their shoes down because right now they are
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: bad footed and it is starting to be a problem
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: with them driving. Well, I'm like this hill, Fred and Barney,
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: we are not buying any more damn shoes unless no
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: listen to me. They don't have any shoes that I know.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: They don't and I know why because they won't upgrade
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: their car. If you're trying to stop your car with
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: your damn feet like we pre his stock. We're not
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: buying no more damn shoes from Fred and Barney. But
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: past that, they have seventy two Chevy or something. But
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: they have worn out all of the sandals. They want
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: their sandals out trying to stop them. Prehistoric called with
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: them times made out of rocks. Right now times have
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: changed yourself something. I understand where you're coming from, Bath,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: But but we're not having a shoe drive for them
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: all right, path, But they are wanting a shoe drive
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: or something. The words of my daddy. People in hell
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: gonna want ice water. What they gotta do with this
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: shoe drive. We ain't from the heir. You don't think
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: they have any ice water in the air. No, I
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: don't there's been no mention over the revelation. All right, well,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: let's just keep it going out. She's throw a technical
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: Bible versus him. It twists his little evil mind. Go ahead,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: all right. Down to a sister, Sharanese Williams has had
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: her fifth child and wants to know why the church
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: is not supporting her child fund. She has got it
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: a tie fund on a website. Well, they can donate
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: money to the cheering but but nobody in the church
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: has donated. Sharinese Williams tell Sharnese Williams the reason we
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: ain't donating to nothing to her child fund because they
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: have a turn for that. It's called child support. And
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: if you find me five men daddies and we can
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: pin something on him with some DNA or some paternity tests,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: she could get child support. Patter, you sound like we
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: look at we're looking at forensic files or something. I
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: don't understand what where you're going with it. I don't

- 1:28:10Speaker 1: to help up with a fun All right, thank you.
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: We will be back with closing remarks from the One
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: and Only Steve Harvey right after this you're listening to show.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: All right, Steve, last break of the day. Time for
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: your closing remarks. What do you have for us today?
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: My friend? Well, I did and Act Like a Success
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: seminar this past weekend on Saturday down at in Los
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Angeles by the airport at the Renaissance Hotel. Doreen Raimi
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: does a good job of running my Act like a
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Success seminars. And I was a keynote speaker after graduation
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: on Saturday, and so I'm gonna bring a piece of
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: that to what I talked to him about. And I
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: want to keep motivating people. And one of the greatest
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: motivations in my life was my dreams. My dreams were
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: so motivating to me because it put me in a
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: place of not so much focusing on where I was,
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: but it caused me to put my focus on where
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I was headed. And so as dismal as to where
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: I was was, it didn't throw me off as sinking
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: of a feeling as I had at times in my life.
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: Because of my dreams. I didn't I didn't feel sunken
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: as low as I had gotten at some points in
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: my life. I didn't ever think I wasn't going to
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: ever come up because of my dreams. My dreams inspired
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: me to keep going. So what I'm saying to you
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: is this. People ask me, Steve, what motivates you? What
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: makes you keep going? It's my dreams what causes you
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: to keep getting up, going to work when you sick,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: fighting through all the stuff they're saying about you. How
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: do you handle all this negativity around you and you
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: just keep going. It's my dreams. It's my faith in God.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: It's my faith in God that there's no way He
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: brought me this far to leave me that because you
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: hating on me, You ain't my God, you ain't my savior.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: You can't hate me out of what He has for me,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: and you're hating me cannot stop nothing God has for
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: me or for you. So my faith in God and
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: my dreams have been my motivation. So let me share
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: what I shared with them on Satday. Motivation. Look at
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: him now? This good motivation. It's when your dreams put
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: on work clothes. Did you hear me? Motivation? It's when
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: your dreams put on work clothes, when your dreams dress
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: up and go to work. That's the motivation. Now, you're motivated.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: You don't put some work clothes on them dreams. Because see,
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: you can stay sleep and have your dreams, or you
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: can wake up and you can chase them. You need
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: to wake up and chase them. You need to wake
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: up and chase them dreams. You need to put some
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: work clothes on them. Jeans, you gotta get some grips,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: some dirty on you. You gotta put work clothes on
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: your dreams. That's your motivation. I'm motivated because, man, my
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: dreams they keep me going because it means I'm headed somewhere.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: Your dreams make your head somewhere. Man, you ain't gotta
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: get stuck on him. Like I tell people all the time,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: I keep a plaque in my office in Atlanta that says,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: and a dude send it to me. A friend of mine,
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: when I was going through a bunch of messed up stuff,
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: he sent me a plaque that says, if you're going
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: through hell, just keep going. Why would you stop there?
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Why would you stop in hell? You're going through hell,
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: just keep going because I'm heading somewhere. So all the
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: hell I've been through, I survive at all because of
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: my dreams, because of my faith. Because my dreams allow
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: me to think that the better day is coming. So
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: if a better day is coming, why am I tripping
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: so hard on what's happening today? Because I know the
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: better day is coming. Because one day, somehow, my God
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: gonna make my dreams come true. Simply because how you
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: know that, Steve, because he said he would. Now, you
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: tell me one thing he said that ain't popped off.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: You tell me one promise he made he ain't kept.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: You tell me one thing he didn't assured you of
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: that you can't rest assured. That's gonna just name it.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: I'm listening. I'm listening. I'm listening. See, I got that
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: much sense as a Christian, as flawed as I am,
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: I have that much sense as a Christian. So those
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: Christians of you that's better than me, congratulations. But guess
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: what I know that about him? No, I know that
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: his promises is true, and I gotta know sense to
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: lean on him. So when you see me falling and
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: making mistakes and doing something wrong and not staying on
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: the white line, you can quit tripping with me. I'll
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: get back on the line. Just give me a minute.
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: I just fell off. I just made a mistake. That's
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: all I said. Someone shouldn't have said I went somewhere.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: I shouldn't have win. I got that. I'm gonna get
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: it together. Lord forgive me and what he gonna do,
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: and I'm gonna get back up and I'm gonna get
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: it right agreed. I'm gonna get it right again. My
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: dreams motivate me. My faith motivates me. Motivation it's when
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: your dreams put on work clothes. You did. That's what
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: motivation is. When I'm going to do something about making
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: what I dream about come true. My dreams got work
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: clothes on it. So when you see me out there,
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: my dreams got on work clothes. I'm trying to make
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: it happen. My faith in God gonna make sure that happened.
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: And I just give him something to touch my dream.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: Those are my clothes remarks today. All right, drop the mic, baby,
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: drop the motivation. That's when your dreams put on WORKO
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: better get it right. And you ended with that, Just
