- 2:13Speaker 1: Man o man o man something going on real good today.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You ought to feel blessed today. The fact that God
- 2:20Speaker 1: woke you up and gave you another opportunity. You know,
- 2:23Speaker 1: every day you wake up, it's another chance. It's a
- 2:26Speaker 1: chance for all of us to get better, to get
- 2:28Speaker 1: it right, to get on the right path, to stop
- 2:31Speaker 1: heading the wrong way. Every day you wake up, that's
- 2:34Speaker 1: your opportunity. See, because he's gonna keep waking you up
- 2:38Speaker 1: because he has a plan for you. You know, I
- 2:42Speaker 1: don't know, uh you know, I don't. I don't. I
- 2:48Speaker 1: don't know when he makes his call and you know
- 2:51Speaker 1: who gets called home when I can't explain it, I
- 2:53Speaker 1: don't have that answer. I'm not him, I'm not God.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I don't claim to be. I don't. I don't understand
- 2:59Speaker 1: it all something times. But God has an amazing way.
- 3:03Speaker 1: But as long as he's waking you up, I do
- 3:05Speaker 1: know this, God ain't through with you yet. God has
- 3:08Speaker 1: a plan for you. Your job is to identify identify
- 3:13Speaker 1: the plan. You know. That's that's clearly what I need
- 3:16Speaker 1: for you to do. You know, um oftentimes the thing
- 3:20Speaker 1: that you're looking for, it's right there inside of you.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know. I can't tell you how many people I meet,
- 3:29Speaker 1: mister Harvey, mister can't speak to you for a many year. Man,
- 3:31Speaker 1: what's up with you? Man? I was just wondering. Man,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I've been trying to and I want to know, man,
- 3:36Speaker 1: can you give me a good agent? Can you give
- 3:39Speaker 1: me a good lawyer? Can you give me a good Now? Look,
- 3:42Speaker 1: if you got some legal problems, I understand you're gonna
- 3:45Speaker 1: need some help right there. But the majority of questions
- 3:48Speaker 1: I get asked is about their future, about their place
- 3:51Speaker 1: in this world, about their mission, about what they're trying
- 3:54Speaker 1: to do, how they're trying to figure out and then
- 3:56Speaker 1: how to go about doing it. But the answer I'm
- 4:00Speaker 1: must remind all of you is always within yourself. It
- 4:03Speaker 1: starts right there. See a lot of people burn up
- 4:06Speaker 1: a lot of time looking around trying to find someone.
- 4:11Speaker 1: If I could just meet them, if I could just
- 4:14Speaker 1: get on her show. Man, if all, if I could
- 4:18Speaker 1: just get to his show, I beating made It's not
- 4:22Speaker 1: That's not necessarily the case. Because see, just like every
- 4:27Speaker 1: time you put your put your faith in a person
- 4:32Speaker 1: or an event or currens or some type of thing
- 4:36Speaker 1: that you imagine yourself being and in that'll do it
- 4:38Speaker 1: for you. Imagine of all the people who've made it
- 4:41Speaker 1: without you know, I look at everybody telling man, if
- 4:43Speaker 1: I could get on so and so show, that will
- 4:46Speaker 1: do it for me. Man, somebody else got on that
- 4:48Speaker 1: show and they blew up. Man, if I could just
- 4:50Speaker 1: make it to that show, do you know how many
- 4:52Speaker 1: people have made it without that? So see, when you
- 4:55Speaker 1: start focusing in on what your idea of how to
- 4:59Speaker 1: make it is, and your idea of how to make
- 5:02Speaker 1: it does not include your relationship with God, you're spending
- 5:06Speaker 1: your wills. Man, it's a vicious cycle you in now,
- 5:09Speaker 1: And I'm asking everybody to get out of that cycle,
- 5:12Speaker 1: get out of looking for someone and something. The answer
- 5:16Speaker 1: is within you. God resides in you. That burning thing
- 5:20Speaker 1: that you have that you just can't get out your head.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's a seed. God planet that that that's a seed.
- 5:27Speaker 1: It needs watering, nurturing, fertilizing, and that's what it needs.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It didn't it. Don't ever say, man, I need that
- 5:34Speaker 1: other person right there now. Now, people you will meet.
- 5:37Speaker 1: That a compliment you, and I can assure you that
- 5:40Speaker 1: God will put you in the right place at the
- 5:42Speaker 1: right time. I'm almost certain that God will introduce you
- 5:46Speaker 1: to everybody you need to be introduced to to make
- 5:49Speaker 1: it to wherever it is. You all are trying to
- 5:51Speaker 1: get to them talking about you and God now. But
- 5:54Speaker 1: the moment you're taken into your own hands and you
- 5:57Speaker 1: make the decision as to who you got to get to,
- 5:59Speaker 1: you just clouded and muddied the waters. See God's plan
- 6:03Speaker 1: for you don't really need your help. It needs your attention,
- 6:10Speaker 1: It needs your focus, it needs your faith, and it
- 6:13Speaker 1: needs your hard work. But it needs you to listen.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It needs you to listen more than anything. Listen, keep
- 6:21Speaker 1: the faith and be willing to work your tail off.
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't know how you think it can happen any
- 6:28Speaker 1: other way, But then again I do because I try
- 6:32Speaker 1: to make it another way. So I had to come
- 6:35Speaker 1: to the conclusion, Hey man, listen here, dog, this ain't
- 6:39Speaker 1: working for you. You gotta get some more God, here, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: listen to me. The answer was always within me, the
- 6:48Speaker 1: moment I sat down with myself and told myself the
- 6:51Speaker 1: truth that a partner you ain't really all that they
- 6:55Speaker 1: a partner, regardless as to what people are seeing and stuff.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You ain't happy. Hey Pardner, this really ain't about you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Hey Pardner, you really ain't all that good at this.
- 7:08Speaker 1: God is keeping you for a reason. Okay, hold of Steve,
- 7:11Speaker 1: quit tripping what I need to do. I just started
- 7:14Speaker 1: talking to myself and then I heard Bishop Jake's say
- 7:17Speaker 1: a couple of things. Then I was watching TV. I
- 7:19Speaker 1: heard Joel Oldstein say a couple of things, and I
- 7:22Speaker 1: went wild, man, Okay, cool, that's pretty slick. I'm gonna
- 7:26Speaker 1: try that. And when I did it, it changed my life.
- 7:30Speaker 1: I am telling you, man, it has been God this
- 7:33Speaker 1: whole time, and the God has been residing inside of me,
- 7:37Speaker 1: just like the God resides on the inside of you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: That's him talking to you, telling you, man, you are
- 7:43Speaker 1: to get it together. Man making you feel bad, it's
- 7:46Speaker 1: sending you on guilt trips, you knowing you wrong and
- 7:49Speaker 1: you out there wrong, and something telling you you all
- 7:52Speaker 1: not do it. Here's how you know. It's God. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: Bishop Olmer taught me this in his book He's Got
- 8:00Speaker 1: Again't think of the name of it right now, but
- 8:01Speaker 1: it's a really good book. But it says in there man.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Bishop Alma was talking in this book and he was saying,
- 8:08Speaker 1: the way you know is not God's voice. It's if
- 8:12Speaker 1: it ain't no sin in it. See how many times
- 8:17Speaker 1: have you made up in your mind, I'm gonna show
- 8:19Speaker 1: this person or I'm gonna show that person. I'm gonna
- 8:22Speaker 1: get this person back. You hurt me, I'm gonna hurt you.
- 8:26Speaker 1: You know the Lord don't like ugly. I'll show you well,
- 8:29Speaker 1: the Lord don't like ugly. But no way in that
- 8:32Speaker 1: doesn't safe for you to go show them. It doesn't
- 8:35Speaker 1: say that. See, so when you strike out on that mission,
- 8:40Speaker 1: you know the God knows in my heart I loved you,
- 8:43Speaker 1: but I got to do this because you did me. Whoa,
- 8:45Speaker 1: whoa ain't got nothing to do with God right there,
- 8:47Speaker 1: you can take him out of it. If it's God,
- 8:50Speaker 1: has no sin in it. So anytime somebody come to
- 8:55Speaker 1: me talking about the Lord told me to do this
- 8:58Speaker 1: to you, and that's the only reason, and now I'm
- 9:00Speaker 1: doing it, you need to get yourself right with God.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I heard all them threats right there. That ain't God
- 9:05Speaker 1: talking to me through you. What are you crazy? If
- 9:08Speaker 1: it's God, it has no sin in it. So you
- 9:11Speaker 1: got to be careful, man, when you're talking to people
- 9:14Speaker 1: and we're gonna go down here and we're gonna do
- 9:15Speaker 1: this because this is the right thing to do. If
- 9:18Speaker 1: it has something wrong going on, then it can't be
- 9:21Speaker 1: the right thing to do. Took me a minute to
- 9:25Speaker 1: learn that one. But please get that through your head
- 9:28Speaker 1: so you can quit spinning yourself around and remember everything
- 9:32Speaker 1: you're looking for is within you. It's all right there.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Quit wasting your time looking around all the time. Go
- 9:40Speaker 1: to your God, man, talk to him. Go to that
- 9:44Speaker 1: spirit that's on the inside of you that's calling you.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Stop letting people shake your treat. At the end of
- 9:50Speaker 1: the day, somebody gonna be right, somebody gonna be wrong.
- 9:52Speaker 1: All right, y'all, we're gonna help going day, tripping a
- 9:55Speaker 1: little bit, going through something. You're listening show, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:02Speaker 1: it is upon us the beginning of a new day.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing to you the man who has
- 10:07Speaker 1: involved in the three trillion dollars lawsuit against the music
- 10:11Speaker 1: industry claiming to have back pay royalties for publishers and
- 10:15Speaker 1: writing and performing rights. Ladies and gentlemen, here to tell
- 10:18Speaker 1: us a little bit more about the story raw Scold Wallace. Yeah, Yeah,

- 11:08Speaker 1: rain night. Yea you wrote purple rain. All I have
- 11:21Speaker 1: woded was to be out of the rain. What color
- 11:26Speaker 1: was the rain? Rain? Was called it purple? They would saying,
- 11:31Speaker 1: someone just another hit I wrote, never got raw Chi's
- 11:34Speaker 1: from just what y'all new, the vast diversity and just
- 11:38Speaker 1: clear out of abilities out over here. Thank you to
- 11:42Speaker 1: you someone for allowing me explain my lawsuit. Just get
- 11:46Speaker 1: it out there, y'all have a great day. Another hit
- 11:49Speaker 1: purplate Lord Rock see y'all maw all right, Yeah, that
- 11:57Speaker 1: boy right there, Boy he wrote purple rain. Jay don't
- 12:01Speaker 1: say nothing because he came here. But well he didn't
- 12:04Speaker 1: write purple rain. So it was that's where you're wrong.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I heard you here. Yeah, I wrote perpor rain. She was,
- 12:18Speaker 1: y'all don't know. I was friends when Prince Daddy and
- 12:22Speaker 1: his name was what you think purple rain one. You know,
- 12:32Speaker 1: we lived, you know literally there. You know Minnesota, come
- 12:35Speaker 1: down Chicago one time, going to Minuter and you know,
- 12:38Speaker 1: a lot of factors up back then, you know a
- 12:41Speaker 1: lot of factors and a lot of smoking and everything.
- 12:45Speaker 1: One night they got red head outside and rain was
- 12:47Speaker 1: coming down, and rain picking up cumicle and coming up
- 12:50Speaker 1: through coming through the cloud picking the ball and the
- 12:52Speaker 1: factory smoke. And then all of a sudden the sun
- 12:54Speaker 1: came out and then the shot the shot the rage
- 12:57Speaker 1: through it, and I'll be damned, look purple purple rain.
- 13:06Speaker 1: So I drove up Daddy King. I told King, I said, man,
- 13:09Speaker 1: you know what I just saw, purp rate need come here,
- 13:12Speaker 1: pre come here, chill the last in that studio. Come on,
- 13:20Speaker 1: rocks here the prime rate. But as you know, my
- 13:23Speaker 1: no peak rain, He's had prep rain. If you're right,
- 13:26Speaker 1: peak rain will be chain coming up next sea coming
- 13:39Speaker 1: up with thirty two minutes after the hour. We'll have
- 13:41Speaker 1: the pastors and church complaints right after this. You're listening
- 13:46Speaker 1: morning show, all right? It is Monday day after Sunday,
- 13:50Speaker 1: so you know what that means. Time for the pastors
- 13:53Speaker 1: and church complaints. We gabble most aubidaciously for the more
- 14:00Speaker 1: or earqunew it. The sounds you here in the background
- 14:07Speaker 1: only means that death jail is not him. The snoring,
- 14:13Speaker 1: the goggling, then haling, the loss of breaths, the asthmatic,
- 14:18Speaker 1: the bron titus, all the breathing difficulties wrapped up into
- 14:24Speaker 1: one man, my older brother, the river ad No, and
- 14:29Speaker 1: it's time for the church complain about. Have a question
- 14:35Speaker 1: to ask you. The question is are you not sick
- 14:40Speaker 1: of what he's doing by not showing up? Because if you,
- 14:44Speaker 1: if it's okay with you, then it's okay with me
- 14:46Speaker 1: not showing up. Not call it. If it's okay with you,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'm telling you the truth. This is not gonna work.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Out the way you wanted to. I'm the sick of
- 14:58Speaker 1: both of y'all. There's gonna be what you're sick of
- 15:04Speaker 1: more you more. Okay, that's where I am is most
- 15:08Speaker 1: sick of him. Okay, Okay, here I am most sick
- 15:13Speaker 1: of him. We'll get to the bottom of this about
- 15:15Speaker 1: what it is today that's caused that absent tie is.
- 15:20Speaker 1: But we're gonna put up stop to all and this
- 15:24Speaker 1: hill sugar hunted iced tea san little kids, that's listening
- 15:31Speaker 1: to the rain at all. A lot of spelling. You
- 15:35Speaker 1: gotta be. You gotta be a parent to understand that
- 15:39Speaker 1: you got to spell out in front of them kids.
- 15:42Speaker 1: But my daddy used to try spelling in front of us,
- 15:47Speaker 1: but he couldn't spell good, and so my mama just
- 15:49Speaker 1: made him say it all right, here we go. We
- 16:00Speaker 1: had a bit of a problem. This has nothing to
- 16:02Speaker 1: do with our church, but we had a problem in Brunswick, Georgia.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Would have had a hundred black pastors march in Brunswick,
- 16:12Speaker 1: Georgia over the weekend. A hundred. They were calling for
- 16:15Speaker 1: a hundred. Now, the problem was a lot of wives
- 16:19Speaker 1: and mothers and girlfriends were calling the church to volunteer
- 16:23Speaker 1: their boyfriends and their husbands, and we were not looking.
- 16:28Speaker 1: We're looking for black pastors, and they got it all
- 16:31Speaker 1: mixed up. We're looking for black pastors. It will volunteer.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So what happened was a lot of black bastards. Yeah, yes,
- 16:44Speaker 1: way too many. We had way too many. An accommodating Yeah,
- 16:50Speaker 1: that had to be a huge misunderstanding. The women who
- 16:57Speaker 1: look real fine from behind, but when you get up
- 17:00Speaker 1: on them, they're not. It's fine. We'll meet in meeting
- 17:03Speaker 1: room five insteady thing you'd like to say about that
- 17:07Speaker 1: or in the missing room. We're asking that everyone faced
- 17:11Speaker 1: the south wall because the dough is on the north wall.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That's all our only request. Thank you so much, thank you,
- 17:24Speaker 1: thank you. Now, we've had some problems with the church
- 17:28Speaker 1: program that we'll put it on this year. None of
- 17:31Speaker 1: the larger members wanna be Santa Claus. They think its
- 17:36Speaker 1: fat shaming. So we don't have anybody to be Santa
- 17:40Speaker 1: Claus School. We're gonna go with Skinny Rickett. Now what
- 17:44Speaker 1: we're asking you is will you paid for the alterations
- 17:49Speaker 1: on the song? Gonna stop this here. I'm tired of
- 17:55Speaker 1: the large membership always gathering together to form some type
- 18:01Speaker 1: of organization for facts. Let me ask you something. If
- 18:05Speaker 1: we because that's all we got at this church. Now,
- 18:09Speaker 1: if we allow Skinny Rickett to be saying it clause,
- 18:16Speaker 1: how is we gonna explain to the babies all the
- 18:20Speaker 1: fat ass elves help me? You see the problem? I
- 18:28Speaker 1: see the problem. Yeah, the elves raindeers is all bigger
- 18:34Speaker 1: than the boss who has saying it, Claus. Thank you,
- 18:38Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. None of them want to be
- 18:41Speaker 1: saying we do have a problem. And you have said
- 18:46Speaker 1: that you're not going to pay for the alterations for Skinny. Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 1: you'll stop h yourself into the role. Thank you very much,
- 18:57Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Moving on, thank you. Okay, wait
- 19:04Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait we used to babies. Yeah, we
- 19:08Speaker 1: using the less fact babies as the eggs. Uh huh.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Now the mom and daddy gonna have to be in
- 19:14Speaker 1: Santa Claus unless we're gonna change the story. Somebody who
- 19:18Speaker 1: had to win the suit, somebody who had to win somebody,
- 19:22Speaker 1: listen and let we change. We're gonna have to change
- 19:25Speaker 1: his name. This is how big our church here, from
- 19:27Speaker 1: Chris Queen to Krispy Kreen. Okay, moving over the weekend,
- 19:33Speaker 1: I noticed last Sunday. You really enjoyed yourself at the
- 19:37Speaker 1: water balloon baptisma. And I want to know if you
- 19:41Speaker 1: like to continue that. We filled the balloons up with
- 19:44Speaker 1: the Holy water and you were allowed to throw them
- 19:46Speaker 1: at the members. You still want to continue that? Kill you?
- 19:50Speaker 1: That's an absolute must. Yeah. I like the baptize and
- 19:56Speaker 1: people busting them in the head. Called listen to them
- 19:58Speaker 1: that I ain't got to get down in the water.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I ain't got to get the deep water. Yeah, I
- 20:04Speaker 1: ain't got to change my clothes. No, I didn't know
- 20:09Speaker 1: your arm was that good. I was surprised that the
- 20:12Speaker 1: way was throwing them. Oh my god, it was so fun. Boy.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Did you see the way I baptized that drug dealer? Yes? Boy,
- 20:23Speaker 1: I tried to kill him with the balloon carter. He
- 20:26Speaker 1: got my little nephew question strung out right now. And
- 20:29Speaker 1: I know that you got him right in the back
- 20:31Speaker 1: of the head. It was it was amazing, righting the
- 20:33Speaker 1: back of the heading in the back. It is amazing.
- 20:36Speaker 1: You want to continue that? Okay, we've had to cut
- 20:39Speaker 1: back on the Christmas program. Here's what we cut it
- 20:41Speaker 1: down to just save some money. We got one while
- 20:45Speaker 1: we out of time. Ain't we out of time? Time?
- 20:48Speaker 1: Okay to come, you to speak up, get your nasal passages,
- 20:53Speaker 1: your head, yes, but look him though, that's crazy. All right,
- 20:58Speaker 1: thank you, basts. Coming up next, asked the CLO. Right
- 21:01Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll talk
- 21:08Speaker 1: about the Astro World Festival. There's a criminal investigation going
- 21:12Speaker 1: on right now. We'll talk about that. And right now, though,
- 21:16Speaker 1: it is time for ask the CLO. The Chief Love Officer,
- 21:20Speaker 1: Steve Harvey is in the building ready for your love questions.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Erica and Southfield, Michigan rights. I am a married man. Oh,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I'm married a man that I went to high school
- 21:31Speaker 1: with and he's the best husband and father in the world.
- 21:35Speaker 1: We didn't date in high school because I was a
- 21:37Speaker 1: nerd and he played football. I am thirty and he's
- 21:40Speaker 1: thirty one, and we've been married for three years. But
- 21:43Speaker 1: I never felt good enough for him. I finally talked
- 21:47Speaker 1: to his mother about how I felt, and she admitted
- 21:50Speaker 1: that she felt the same way. I was hurt to
- 21:53Speaker 1: the core, and she tried to fix it by saying,
- 21:55Speaker 1: but you're a great mom and a God, fairy woman,
- 21:59Speaker 1: what of my husband? And why did he marry you?
- 22:03Speaker 1: Why you need to you know, you need to stop.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You've blossomed from this nerd into this really incredible woman,
- 22:11Speaker 1: and he recognizes it. And let me help you understand something.
- 22:16Speaker 1: A man gets the baddest chick he can get. Period.
- 22:21Speaker 1: If your husband could get better, he would have better.
- 22:25Speaker 1: But he doesn't qualify for better, and he can't get better.
- 22:29Speaker 1: He's married the baddest chick he can get. Now, you
- 22:33Speaker 1: need to pick up your self esteem and quit treating
- 22:35Speaker 1: yourself like you used to be in high school and
- 22:38Speaker 1: go on and beat and blossom into the woman that
- 22:41Speaker 1: you are. And the hell with his mama. She probably
- 22:45Speaker 1: ain't got nobodyhood to look at her. She looked like
- 22:48Speaker 1: she all after you probably not Quit asking people their
- 22:53Speaker 1: opinion of you. Don't do that, and pick up a
- 22:55Speaker 1: better opinion of yourself. Pick up your self esteem. You
- 22:58Speaker 1: actually fine, don't worry about it. And great advice to clo.
- 23:03Speaker 1: All right, Cynthia, and Saint Louis says, I've been divorced
- 23:06Speaker 1: for a few years and I am dating casually. I
- 23:08Speaker 1: had two free passes to a wine tasting and I
- 23:11Speaker 1: invited a guy I met online. We had advertisers, and
- 23:15Speaker 1: we're having a great time until the check came and
- 23:18Speaker 1: he didn't make a move to pay for it. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: got it, got a little awkward, and I was ready
- 23:24Speaker 1: to go, so I asked if he was ready to pay.
- 23:27Speaker 1: He said, go ahead. I invited him out, so I
- 23:31Speaker 1: gotta pay. I didn't really ask him out. But is
- 23:35Speaker 1: this a new rule of dating? It's a new rule
- 23:38Speaker 1: by a lot of guys. I was just watching online
- 23:41Speaker 1: a video fifty cent and he was on a Stephen
- 23:44Speaker 1: Colbert show drinking champagne, and he said, let me ask
- 23:48Speaker 1: you a question, fifty whose responsibility is it to pay
- 23:52Speaker 1: on the first date? And he said, the person that
- 23:56Speaker 1: invited him. That's a general ration or other things that
- 24:01Speaker 1: these cats is doing. Now. It's not the right thing
- 24:04Speaker 1: to do. It's not the proper thing to do. Um
- 24:08Speaker 1: And so you know you have your answer. Go ahead.
- 24:11Speaker 1: These dudes nowadays they don't even get it. But they
- 24:15Speaker 1: don't get it because a lot of y'all women don't
- 24:17Speaker 1: make them get it. So you pay for the tab
- 24:21Speaker 1: and then just walk away, leave him alone. What do
- 24:24Speaker 1: you mean this is not your guy? Women don't make them. No,
- 24:30Speaker 1: you all don't. You all don't have a set of standards.
- 24:32Speaker 1: You know you sit there, you know you don't expect
- 24:35Speaker 1: a man to pay. Then when you do expect him
- 24:38Speaker 1: and he said, now, go ahead, you pay. You invited me.
- 24:41Speaker 1: You've learned your lesson. It cost you some time and
- 24:43Speaker 1: some money. Buy your food and going out. A man
- 24:47Speaker 1: that won't buy a woman a plate of food, who
- 24:49Speaker 1: is this guy? Yeah, you got some bigger trouble up
- 24:53Speaker 1: the road if you if I don't see you worthy
- 24:55Speaker 1: of a plate of food for some appetizers. See if
- 25:01Speaker 1: she scared me when she said that for something. Now
- 25:05Speaker 1: just think that's that's for the act time. This ain't
- 25:11Speaker 1: for nothing else. So his his value system is off.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And a lot of young guys this way to day,
- 25:19Speaker 1: a lot of young guys old school is simple. You
- 25:22Speaker 1: ask a woman out, you pay. That's what it is.
- 25:25Speaker 1: The man pays for the date. Now, if you are
- 25:27Speaker 1: have an agreement, that's okay, Hey, let me get this
- 25:29Speaker 1: when it's okay. Yeah, But for the man to assume
- 25:33Speaker 1: that you're going to pay, you're doing what a different
- 25:35Speaker 1: kind of dude. Now cut your losses, Bye bye, I'm
- 25:38Speaker 1: glad even if there's some women who are at If
- 25:42Speaker 1: you had a dinner and it's a party of people
- 25:44Speaker 1: and the women who don't have dates, I think a
- 25:47Speaker 1: dude should pick they check up too. If you just think, yeah,
- 25:53Speaker 1: it's just a gentleman thing to do, I mean, you
- 25:56Speaker 1: may have a date and you don't have a date,
- 25:57Speaker 1: you have my table, hold on, there's nothing wrong with
- 26:05Speaker 1: it at all. But now if a guy has a
- 26:09Speaker 1: date at the table and all the women are at
- 26:13Speaker 1: the table, I don't know who asked for this date,
- 26:17Speaker 1: but the guy is responsible for the woman that he's
- 26:20Speaker 1: responsible for. He's not responsible for all of her friends.
- 26:23Speaker 1: But if it's a nice gesture, if you can afford
- 26:27Speaker 1: to do it, it's a nice gesture, you do it.
- 26:30Speaker 1: But it's fourteen people at the table, eating and drinking,
- 26:32Speaker 1: and the dude was there for one. Ye. Well, I'm
- 26:36Speaker 1: just saying it's a gentleman right, But that's that's not
- 26:41Speaker 1: an obligation for this guy to pick up the tab
- 26:44Speaker 1: for everybody at the table. I think his obligation is
- 26:48Speaker 1: to his date. Juniors never let us pay for a meal,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and we're well, you all never reach I'm not gonna
- 27:01Speaker 1: let you pay either. Because that's just our way. But
- 27:05Speaker 1: we old school cats, you know, I mean, we old
- 27:10Speaker 1: school cats. So we're not gonna ladies. That's with us.
- 27:13Speaker 1: You're you're under our care. If we go somewhere, if
- 27:16Speaker 1: I invite y'all out somewhere, if we seen somewhere, you
- 27:20Speaker 1: all are under our care. Because if y'all's husbands are
- 27:23Speaker 1: not there, then I would expect I would expect y'all's
- 27:28Speaker 1: husband to treat my wife the same way because now
- 27:34Speaker 1: you know, because I know Tash, because I know Nesto.
- 27:37Speaker 1: You know, these dudes got wise. I know them. So
- 27:40Speaker 1: now when they wife with me, they under my care.
- 27:45Speaker 1: That's that's the gentleman and a man way to do it.
- 27:47Speaker 1: And I would expect the same thing. If Margie was
- 27:49Speaker 1: with y'all, the neighbor was there, if something pop off,
- 27:52Speaker 1: dog and somebody somebody get to swing it, and you
- 27:54Speaker 1: don't cover my girl, You let the dude beat her.
- 27:57Speaker 1: You was there, No Yah and me and you we've
- 28:02Speaker 1: ever crossed up whatever. All right, So we're moving on.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Thanks for clearing all of that up. Celo Shasta and
- 28:11Speaker 1: Charlotte says, my husband is overly protective of one of
- 28:14Speaker 1: his co workers, and it makes me suspicious. He came
- 28:17Speaker 1: home about a month ago and told me that his
- 28:20Speaker 1: co worker's husband is verbally abusive. Then she started calling
- 28:24Speaker 1: him after work and would talk to him until he
- 28:26Speaker 1: got home. I told him it was inappropriate and I
- 28:29Speaker 1: didn't like it. My husband maintains that he is only
- 28:32Speaker 1: offering emotional support to her, and I need to relax.
- 28:35Speaker 1: How do I put an end to this? Wow? Well, dog,
- 28:39Speaker 1: Now see, you got a problem man. If you got
- 28:43Speaker 1: a wife and you protected another woman, you boy, you
- 28:50Speaker 1: got a problem man. You know you know why you
- 28:55Speaker 1: that's all women gonna say. Why you got to be
- 28:57Speaker 1: the one. She ain't got no brother, she ain't got
- 28:59Speaker 1: no dad, he ain't no other co workers in it?
- 29:01Speaker 1: Who a single man? And added like now all of
- 29:03Speaker 1: a sudden, you got to talk to and help her out,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you finn mess, your crebo bro trying to save another one,
- 29:12Speaker 1: you stupid thane. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:18Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you. Right after this.
- 29:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Comedian Afion
- 29:27Speaker 1: Crockett was on stage Friday night at the Comedy Zone
- 29:32Speaker 1: in Jacksonville, Florida. Duval We had an encounter with a
- 29:36Speaker 1: white woman that stormed the stage during his show Okay.
- 29:41Speaker 1: During his show he was performing, the woman made a
- 29:44Speaker 1: comment about his jokes about sex being too offensive, and
- 29:47Speaker 1: Afian told her he is referring to consenting adults and
- 29:52Speaker 1: describing his own experiences. Then he took a poll from
- 29:56Speaker 1: the audience and no one no one was offended. Afian
- 30:00Speaker 1: called the lady a Karen and told her to get
- 30:02Speaker 1: off his stage. Security escorted the lady off stage while
- 30:06Speaker 1: the crowd heckled her. Afian yelled by Karen as she left,
- 30:11Speaker 1: and later Afian posted a picture of the lady on
- 30:14Speaker 1: stage with him with the caption, so tonight I had
- 30:18Speaker 1: my first Karen to storm the stage like the Capitol.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I can't make this sugar honey iced tea up when
- 30:24Speaker 1: I perform, I said what I said. If you don't
- 30:27Speaker 1: like it, don't come. Okay, cancel anyway. I mean, have
- 30:36Speaker 1: you guys ever had that experience? Oh yeah, cancel, Jake,
- 30:45Speaker 1: stop lying. Well, I had a fight one time. That's
- 30:50Speaker 1: a whole show. Oh okay, great, I thought you never
- 30:53Speaker 1: had anyone wasn't storm the stage? How he well, he
- 30:56Speaker 1: didn't quite get up on this stage. No, women cannot
- 31:00Speaker 1: explain what happened. If you let me tell it, you
- 31:05Speaker 1: can explain it. Just let it tell. So this food
- 31:10Speaker 1: in Memphis guy helps Jay Jay tell him. Now Jay
- 31:16Speaker 1: Jay wanted The drunk hillbilly comes and tries to climb
- 31:20Speaker 1: up on the stage because the stage was elevated the
- 31:23Speaker 1: mic with the base of the mic stand. Jay Anthony
- 31:26Speaker 1: Brown picks up the microphone stand the bass and bust
- 31:31Speaker 1: him dead in the head. Now, go ahead and explain it.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Please explain the reason the hillbilly came on the stag.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I was at the reason because the guy before me,
- 31:44Speaker 1: that particular knife, was having a better set. And the
- 31:48Speaker 1: hillbilly said, bring the other black guy up there, and
- 31:53Speaker 1: I took offense to that, and he, I guess he
- 31:57Speaker 1: came on stage to remove me from the stage and
- 32:01Speaker 1: put the other black guy up there. And that wasn't
- 32:03Speaker 1: having it. And you know I hit him in here.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Ye knocked his ass smooth, Sharlotte. Was he all right? Sureley?
- 32:15Speaker 1: You get hit in the here with the bass of
- 32:17Speaker 1: the microphone, so the thing that holds a thing from
- 32:21Speaker 1: falling over. No, he wasn't all right. Flashing lights outside
- 32:26Speaker 1: up Jason Manner though I would never think about him. Man.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I know he cusses a lot of stuff, but Jake
- 32:36Speaker 1: got you'all food. He doesn't seem like a fighter to me. No, No,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. That's right. Surely I'm not a fighter.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I'm not all right runner, not as fast as I
- 32:50Speaker 1: used to be. But I'm gonna I'm gonna get out
- 32:52Speaker 1: of there. Yeah, okay, but you canna get some licks
- 32:55Speaker 1: in first. These carrons, man, they're taking over. I mean,
- 32:58Speaker 1: they're gonna kill comedy in it minute. The way they're going,
- 33:01Speaker 1: comedy will be dead because you won't be able to
- 33:04Speaker 1: say anything. Yeah, that was some nerve, some privilege, I
- 33:07Speaker 1: should say, for her to think she could just do
- 33:09Speaker 1: that interrupt his happened to just leave it. If you
- 33:12Speaker 1: don't just leave, why you gotta do all that? Yeah,
- 33:16Speaker 1: you're on stage interrupting his performance. That is so crazy.
- 33:22Speaker 1: All right, So moving on, Steve, you'll be happy to
- 33:25Speaker 1: know that Britney Spears is free. In Los Angeles Superior Court,
- 33:32Speaker 1: on Friday, Judge Brenda Penney terminated Brendy's legal Britney's legal
- 33:37Speaker 1: conservatorship after long battle over whether or not Brittany was
- 33:40Speaker 1: mentally stable enough to control her sixty million dollars. State
- 33:44Speaker 1: Judge Penney stated the court finds a conservatorship of the
- 33:47Speaker 1: person and a state of Britney spears is no longer required.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Hundreds of supporters outside of the courthouse cheered and danced
- 33:54Speaker 1: as they heard the great news that Britney is free.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Britney posted to Instagram. Good God, I love my fans
- 34:01Speaker 1: so much it's crazy. I think I'm gonna cry the
- 34:04Speaker 1: rest of the day. M Brittany thirty nine years old
- 34:07Speaker 1: now popeyicon and she added a new hashtag freed Freed Brittany.
- 34:13Speaker 1: So good for her. Yeah, yeah, a lot of people
- 34:17Speaker 1: wanted that. Yeah, one woman I did with all that
- 34:22Speaker 1: damn opportunity. That's herman, No, none at all, but just
- 34:28Speaker 1: just knowing as I did, all right, And Steve, you'll
- 34:34Speaker 1: you'll love this. Dj Kala's latest business venture is a
- 34:37Speaker 1: sprawling chicken wing delivery service with more than one hundred
- 34:41Speaker 1: and fifty kitchens in five countries on three continents, and
- 34:46Speaker 1: it plans to offer boat side jet ski delivery. You
- 34:49Speaker 1: can be chilling on your yacht, Steve and order wings
- 34:52Speaker 1: from another Wing. That is the name of his business.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Another Wing and a jet ski will pull up next
- 34:58Speaker 1: to your boat with your delivery. If you don't live
- 35:01Speaker 1: on water, so the wings can also be delivered to
- 35:05Speaker 1: your house. Another Wing will service in New York, Atlanta, Houston, Miami,
- 35:09Speaker 1: Los Angeles, Toronto, and Vancouver, as well as the UK
- 35:13Speaker 1: and Canada, France and the United Airates Emirates. And another
- 35:18Speaker 1: Wing will operate in a ghost kitchen. That's a new
- 35:20Speaker 1: delivery only concept that is floating right now. It's real
- 35:23Speaker 1: popular right now. Yeah, so can you imagine I love it?
- 35:30Speaker 1: Instead of another one, another wing, another wing, another wing,
- 35:34Speaker 1: Alert and another one another wings. Congratulations DJ Khaled, Yes
- 35:50Speaker 1: what you think, Steve on your yacht Chicken wings, hot wings.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Uh yeah, that won't happen, but yeah, the concepts great.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Coming up. In about twenty minutes, we're gonna look into
- 36:02Speaker 1: the mind of the one and only Jay Anthony Brown.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show, all right, come on, Steve,
- 36:11Speaker 1: it's time for you to introduce your friend, ladies and gentlemen.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Here he is the Darkness, Jay Anthony Brown. Darkness. Thank you,
- 36:20Speaker 1: thank you, thank you, thank you very much. Mister Harvey.
- 36:22Speaker 1: As you know from last week, I'm giving out holiday tips.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Holiday tips today we're gonna focus on paper goods. Paper
- 36:30Speaker 1: goods for your parties. That would meaning cups, napkins, paper plates,
- 36:36Speaker 1: tilet paper. Let me go over the list again. Case
- 36:39Speaker 1: you don't know you got a party coming up, you
- 36:41Speaker 1: don't know what to have. You're gonna need paper cups,
- 36:44Speaker 1: paper plates, napkins, and tarlet paper. Here we go. You
- 36:49Speaker 1: want your eight ounce cups? Do not go and have
- 36:52Speaker 1: a party with them, tin of ass cups. Okay, well,
- 36:56Speaker 1: you can only put one damn icicle in the cup.
- 36:59Speaker 1: You gotta stand right there and drink it up and
- 37:01Speaker 1: fill it up again. Get the eight ounce Dixie cups.
- 37:05Speaker 1: You want the Dixie plates plates, Dixie, I know your
- 37:10Speaker 1: races out out of none of them DIXI plates. You
- 37:13Speaker 1: want to be able to put meatball on the plate
- 37:15Speaker 1: and damn meatball on falling the floor and bounce up
- 37:18Speaker 1: and hit you in your damn You want strong ass plates. Okay, yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 1: you don't want them, love flim. If you put gravy
- 37:25Speaker 1: on the plate and then the plate just flip over
- 37:27Speaker 1: and gravy just drip off, you got a weak ass plate. Okay,
- 37:32Speaker 1: you don't know right away. You want big ass napkins.
- 37:36Speaker 1: You got big people eating. Don't come up with the
- 37:38Speaker 1: little ast tight ass napkins. The little tight You wanna
- 37:43Speaker 1: fall back a sheet, they got him. You wanna full cover.
- 37:47Speaker 1: You want to be in a pop it open like
- 37:49Speaker 1: a bed, like a fittedge sheet. You gotta look for
- 37:52Speaker 1: him there out there, the biggest napkin you can find,
- 37:57Speaker 1: because you got big ass eaters in there. Okay, get
- 38:00Speaker 1: a lot of them. Now, this is the most important
- 38:03Speaker 1: thing about your holiday gathering. Oh my god, I can't
- 38:07Speaker 1: stretch this enough. Toilet lit paper. Let me say it again,
- 38:12Speaker 1: tall lit paper. Put several rolls in the restroom. Several rolls.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Don't embrass people take the plunger. Stack them on top
- 38:23Speaker 1: of that. That means you got your fall deep. Don't
- 38:26Speaker 1: put them behind people on that low tank back there.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's uncomfortable. Try to reach back there when you need it.
- 38:31Speaker 1: And you can't. You can't. You you cannot get that.
- 38:40Speaker 1: You wan't bounty bounty. It's your strongest, your strongest. Okay.
- 38:44Speaker 1: If you got a tilet paper, you can blow a
- 38:46Speaker 1: hole in it. It's weak, weak ass tilet paper. If
- 38:51Speaker 1: you got a toilet paper, you can read the paper
- 38:53Speaker 1: through the tilet paper. That's a weak ass tilet paper.
- 38:58Speaker 1: If you got a tilet paper that the paper is
- 39:02Speaker 1: wrapped in over the toilet paper is soft than the
- 39:06Speaker 1: toilet paper is the paper that's wrapping the toilet paper
- 39:11Speaker 1: is soft than the toilet paper. You got a week
- 39:15Speaker 1: as the toilet paper, just one little session. You can't
- 39:20Speaker 1: work with that. Okay, all right, thank you Jay, being
- 39:23Speaker 1: a holiday till I have more when I come back.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Thank you. All right, coming up at thirty four minutes
- 39:28Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 39:30Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 39:33Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Fans injured in the Astra World tragedy,
- 39:39Speaker 1: along with the families of some of the deceased, have
- 39:42Speaker 1: filed more than one hundred lawsuits against Travis Scott and
- 39:46Speaker 1: Live Nation. Tragically, nine people died and more than three
- 39:50Speaker 1: hundred were hurt when chaos broke out on the first
- 39:53Speaker 1: night of Travis's Astra World Festival festival in Houston. Fifty
- 39:57Speaker 1: thousand fans packed into the concert and reportedly rushed the
- 40:00Speaker 1: stage and crushed and trampled victims over a period of
- 40:03Speaker 1: forty minutes while the concert continued. The total number of
- 40:07Speaker 1: lawsuits against the events producer Live Nation reached one hundred
- 40:10Speaker 1: and eight by the time Harris County District Court closed
- 40:13Speaker 1: on Friday. The lawsuits not only target Live Nation and Scott,
- 40:17Speaker 1: but also Drake as well. Drake, of course, appeared on
- 40:21Speaker 1: stage with Travis during the concerts, so there you go,
- 40:25Speaker 1: and stuff was going on. They just didn't know on stage. Well,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you know it's our legal system now that the wheels
- 40:32Speaker 1: of that sometimes turned just for the money while y'all
- 40:39Speaker 1: dragging Drake into this at all because he appeared on
- 40:42Speaker 1: the stage. But now it's just about you know, you
- 40:46Speaker 1: gotta you gotta, you gotta pointed that anybody you think
- 40:48Speaker 1: has something to lose. You know, the tragedy is that
- 40:52Speaker 1: there was nine people who lost their lives and three
- 40:54Speaker 1: hundred people hurt. Now that's going to have to be
- 40:57Speaker 1: some form of compensation that's going to happen. You can
- 41:02Speaker 1: believe that. And Live Nation, as a lawyer told me,
- 41:05Speaker 1: Live Nations lawyers ain't been to bed, yeah, he since
- 41:09Speaker 1: this happened, he said, trust me, they ain't been to bed.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And now you're telling me that a hundred and eight
- 41:16Speaker 1: suits have been filed at close of day. That's a lot,
- 41:19Speaker 1: and it's going to be more to come. And it's
- 41:22Speaker 1: tragedy for the families that lost loved ones, the ten
- 41:25Speaker 1: year old boy, the mothers, the fathers, the sisters, the brothers,
- 41:31Speaker 1: the friends. It's a horrible situation. It's going to be
- 41:35Speaker 1: a while. Know that this story is going to get
- 41:39Speaker 1: drug out. That's what all both lawyers do that and
- 41:45Speaker 1: so the lawyers who are pressing are going to act
- 41:48Speaker 1: like not nothing you can do can fix this and
- 41:52Speaker 1: then live nation lawyers have got to go, well, this
- 41:56Speaker 1: is what we're doing, this is what we're willing to do.
- 41:59Speaker 1: But to get to that number right there, to even
- 42:01Speaker 1: start this, it will be a long time before they
- 42:05Speaker 1: get to a number. But when you have general admission concerts,
- 42:10Speaker 1: you you're asking for a problem like that. You really
- 42:16Speaker 1: people standing right, yeah, I mean yeah, there's no way
- 42:20Speaker 1: to predict this. I'm pretty sure if they would have
- 42:22Speaker 1: thought this could happen, precautions would have been taken. But
- 42:26Speaker 1: now you know some of the blame, some of the
- 42:30Speaker 1: blame is on not the victims, but the party, the
- 42:34Speaker 1: people who rush and charge and only have concern for themselves.
- 42:39Speaker 1: I want to get to the front. Were you in
- 42:41Speaker 1: the back? And that's usually how stampede is from when
- 42:46Speaker 1: the pressure keeps coming from the back. The stampede doesn't
- 42:51Speaker 1: isn't drastic from the front. It's when it starts. People
- 42:54Speaker 1: in the front start falling into people in the back,
- 42:57Speaker 1: keep coming. Some of this blame has to go to
- 43:00Speaker 1: the way people behave. Yeah, and it's sad that people
- 43:07Speaker 1: aren't considerate. And then there are people who, let me
- 43:11Speaker 1: tell you something, there are people who saw them victims
- 43:14Speaker 1: on the ground, didn't do nothing to help them. Yeah,
- 43:16Speaker 1: that's very trust that I'm going to the front. Stepped
- 43:20Speaker 1: on people, you know, you stepped on somebody that ain't
- 43:23Speaker 1: no coat? Yeah, you know that, you know. And then
- 43:28Speaker 1: there were some people who were trying to stop stop
- 43:30Speaker 1: pushing the people on the ground. You better believe a
- 43:32Speaker 1: lot of good people in that trying to get that
- 43:34Speaker 1: under control. But the show all stop, the show trying
- 43:38Speaker 1: to get to the production officials to show as well,
- 43:43Speaker 1: really really sad. Travis Scott is still in his home
- 43:46Speaker 1: in Houston and just they say he's just really depressed
- 43:49Speaker 1: and sad. Some people trying to protest outside his home. Yeah,
- 43:53Speaker 1: it's a lot, Yeah, it's a lot. Yeah, But you know,
- 43:56Speaker 1: y'all feel somewhat responsible. Well yeah sure, as an artist,
- 44:00Speaker 1: well you don't want anything to happen. But y'all outside
- 44:03Speaker 1: Travis Scott's house for what. Yeah, Travis Scott didn't ask
- 44:08Speaker 1: for any of this to happen. I'm almost certain he
- 44:11Speaker 1: didn't and wishes this never had to happen. You protesting
- 44:14Speaker 1: outside of Travis scott house. I got you on to
- 44:17Speaker 1: direct your anger somewhere, but it really ain't at him. Yeah,
- 44:21Speaker 1: So all right, we're gonna move on. Coming up next
- 44:25Speaker 1: it is the prank phone call. We'll get into that
- 44:27Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show coming up at
- 44:34Speaker 1: the top of the hour, well about four minutes after
- 44:37Speaker 1: the hour, it's my Strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 44:40Speaker 1: he's for the streets. Okay, we'll get into that in
- 44:43Speaker 1: just a bit. Huh's for the streets. But right now,
- 44:46Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew with today's frank phone call.
- 44:49Speaker 1: What you got for its Junior for the YEA, yeah,
- 44:52Speaker 1: exactly sure, I'm in for the next it's money he
- 44:56Speaker 1: worked this weekend now I'm in for the next Y
- 45:00Speaker 1: don't know what's happening. I know I know, so what
- 45:04Speaker 1: I do have for the nift Mike will just be there.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Look a here, Sherty hitt here, Okay, okay, Sherty he
- 45:10Speaker 1: hitty today, pray funk hitty h gene. I got your
- 45:16Speaker 1: girl walks again? Gee, I got your girl credit kit? Hello?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Need the gene? Is my name? Vernon? Brother was playing
- 45:31Speaker 1: what's going on? I need to high let you for
- 45:33Speaker 1: a minute, my man? What I want to how let
- 45:35Speaker 1: you about your wife? So you got a minute. Yeah,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm listening. I don't even know how to breaktice to
- 45:40Speaker 1: your dog. I just want to be straight up with you, man.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Me and your wife have been kind of seeing each other,
- 45:45Speaker 1: and uh, really she want to let you go. But
- 45:49Speaker 1: she ain't, you know, she really ain't got it got
- 45:52Speaker 1: it up in her to say she want to let
- 45:53Speaker 1: you go. So I'm coming to you like a man
- 45:56Speaker 1: and letting you know. You know that, Uh, she really
- 46:00Speaker 1: wanted to shut it down with you. We've been seeing
- 46:02Speaker 1: each other for a minute now, so I don't know
- 46:06Speaker 1: how we can, you know, I'm just coming at you
- 46:08Speaker 1: like a man, brother, trying to let you know, she
- 46:10Speaker 1: don't even really want you no more. You know, we
- 46:13Speaker 1: didn't talked about it, talked about it, and I'm just
- 46:17Speaker 1: trying to get it all. I know. I'm tired. I'm
- 46:20Speaker 1: tired of hiding with it. Really, okay, okay, Well you
- 46:24Speaker 1: know it's a lot smoother than I expected. Player, I man,
- 46:29Speaker 1: it is what it is. It is what it is.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I mean, long as long as you as long as
- 46:33Speaker 1: you cool, I thought, you know, I just want to
- 46:36Speaker 1: be a man called and how I let you let
- 46:37Speaker 1: you know? Have you seen her today? And where are
- 46:39Speaker 1: you from? From Jersey? I'm up around Newark. I mean
- 46:45Speaker 1: you said it's a lot smootherer than you thought it
- 46:46Speaker 1: was going. Ba. Well, you know anytime i'm another man
- 46:50Speaker 1: from to call another man about his wife, I mean, yeah,
- 46:52Speaker 1: you don't expect it to be nothing. You know, pretty simple,
- 46:55Speaker 1: that's for sure. I didn't contemplate it a long time
- 46:58Speaker 1: by calling you saw you know, the day I just
- 47:00Speaker 1: said to head whatever, I will get my number. So
- 47:02Speaker 1: I've been here at your number. I had your number
- 47:05Speaker 1: a long time. All right. Now you say you're looking, Uh,
- 47:12Speaker 1: there's a lot smoother than you thought us gonna be.
- 47:14Speaker 1: It ain't that smooth, but you know you don't want
- 47:17Speaker 1: You know, the thing is, you got one up on
- 47:20Speaker 1: it because you know my information. Now I's gonna come
- 47:22Speaker 1: find you. Okay, wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 47:25Speaker 1: hold up? Now good. You feel like I'm gonna need
- 47:28Speaker 1: to hold up? Okay, you feel like you need to
- 47:31Speaker 1: be looking for me or something. Brother, Look look ahead,
- 47:34Speaker 1: let's check this out. This is a decision that the
- 47:36Speaker 1: wife has made. You understand what I'm saying. So you
- 47:39Speaker 1: have no reason to be mad at me about anything.
- 47:41Speaker 1: You have no reason to be coming looking for me
- 47:43Speaker 1: or any information on me, because see, when that happens,
- 47:46Speaker 1: then it's gonna really get stinky up in here. And
- 47:48Speaker 1: I'm trying not to let that happen. That's why I'm
- 47:50Speaker 1: calling you like a man. Brother, Trust me, Man, ain't
- 47:53Speaker 1: nothing that I'm never worried about. Okay, Well, I'm just
- 47:56Speaker 1: letting you know, man, I'm letting you know up front
- 47:58Speaker 1: sheet with me and how contemplated a long time, y'all
- 48:01Speaker 1: to y'alla, so now you know here we are. So
- 48:03Speaker 1: I said, you know, what the hell with it? I'm
- 48:04Speaker 1: calling to day y'all should have did this on the
- 48:07Speaker 1: phone together out of respect to both of y'all a
- 48:10Speaker 1: lot more. Okay, well you know, and then you know,
- 48:12Speaker 1: if that's what it's got to be, we be face
- 48:14Speaker 1: to face together whatever it's gotta be, man, you know, okay, so,
- 48:19Speaker 1: but but let me ask you this here where it's
- 48:21Speaker 1: going in. Once we're both staying flat footed and tell
- 48:23Speaker 1: you how it is, then what I ain't gonna never
- 48:26Speaker 1: be flat footed? Okay? What the flat footed? Or upside down?
- 48:30Speaker 1: Ain't the way you want to look at it, bro,
- 48:32Speaker 1: I'm trying not to get into this physical part, but
- 48:34Speaker 1: it seemed like you're leaning that way with me. It
- 48:37Speaker 1: could be with uver. You know, it could be on
- 48:39Speaker 1: this side of the dirt or the other side. And
- 48:40Speaker 1: don't make it difference. It never does, brother, it never does.
- 48:44Speaker 1: When two bulls come together, one of them got to
- 48:46Speaker 1: go down. No, guess what we are doing? Too much talking?
- 48:49Speaker 1: You've got my information. Guess what now I'm bought loaded
- 48:52Speaker 1: the hunter for you. You lock and loaded. There's no
- 48:55Speaker 1: need for you to say. There's no need for us
- 48:57Speaker 1: discussing anymore. Okay, cool? You know why? Well at it, man,
- 49:00Speaker 1: let me go and drop it all on you then,
- 49:03Speaker 1: because it's it seemed like we need to go and
- 49:04Speaker 1: get it all out the way. You cool, you know
- 49:07Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I think you need you know, a
- 49:09Speaker 1: matter of fact, if you want to just keep it
- 49:11Speaker 1: all the way real, you might want to go take
- 49:13Speaker 1: a blood test about a lina and make sure you
- 49:15Speaker 1: to Papa to that. All right? Feel me? Got it?
- 49:23Speaker 1: So I'm gonna have your wife getting your car man
- 49:26Speaker 1: because we didn't contemplate it or too long and it's time. Yeah,
- 49:29Speaker 1: you do that. You know my information? Like I said,
- 49:31Speaker 1: you said enough, you had enough balls yet now I'm
- 49:34Speaker 1: really hunter for somebody. So you know what I mean,
- 49:39Speaker 1: somebody's got to go. What you mean? Wait, wait, what
- 49:42Speaker 1: was all this? Somebody got to go? What you're saying,
- 49:46Speaker 1: somebody got to go. Okay, you're trying about either me
- 49:50Speaker 1: or you. One of us got to go, see because
- 49:52Speaker 1: you're saying the wrong thing. Because what you must understand
- 49:54Speaker 1: is if I've given you as much information as I
- 49:56Speaker 1: already have, that means I have enough information to know
- 49:58Speaker 1: where you are. Brother. You know nothing about me norway
- 50:01Speaker 1: I reside. So if you're gonna talk about locking lower,
- 50:04Speaker 1: then somebody got to go. Then you're saying it to
- 50:06Speaker 1: the wrong person, because I'm already up on you player that.
- 50:10Speaker 1: First off, they ain't really annoyed because it got a
- 50:12Speaker 1: country action. So second off, like you've done them on
- 50:15Speaker 1: the real street. So however you want to handle it,
- 50:18Speaker 1: you know my information. Guess what. I don't reside did
- 50:20Speaker 1: the more. I ain't doing the more. That's what. Now
- 50:23Speaker 1: you've got to start from the scratch like me. He'll
- 50:27Speaker 1: go to math. Man, you're ready for that. You're ready
- 50:29Speaker 1: for this, math, You're ready to play. He'll go to math.
- 50:33Speaker 1: This nephew, Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You've
- 50:36Speaker 1: been pranked by your wife. I'm kill yeah black man.

- 51:43Speaker 1: the and the way we have to praise and worship
- 51:45Speaker 1: you after each prank. I believe it actually replaces going
- 51:52Speaker 1: to church, the praise of worship service that we have
- 51:55Speaker 1: to do after each prank. It's amazing. God appreciate it.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Let me let me go, Ready to love, Roden separate

- 52:47Speaker 1: you see it? Twelve pounds on each side? Oh my god, God, whoa, Lindon, whoa?

- 54:12Speaker 1: You never know it could be your Well i'ma for
- 54:15Speaker 1: a niff, so buckle up, hold on tight, we got
- 54:18Speaker 1: it for you, Strawberry. Let all right, subject, thank you
- 54:23Speaker 1: you and your subject He's for the streets. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:28Speaker 1: I'm a thirty three year old single woman and my
- 54:30Speaker 1: older sister just married a man that's for the streets.
- 54:34Speaker 1: I know you're going to say I need to mind
- 54:36Speaker 1: my business, but my brother in law is a whore.
- 54:39Speaker 1: When I graduated from college ten years ago, I went
- 54:42Speaker 1: to a party and he was one of my classmate's
- 54:45Speaker 1: boyfriends at the time. I was annoyed by him flirting
- 54:48Speaker 1: and staring at me all night. I had way too
- 54:51Speaker 1: much tequila and he followed me into the bathroom and
- 54:54Speaker 1: I had sex with him in the tub. All I
- 54:57Speaker 1: remember was trying to get out of that bathroom before
- 54:59Speaker 1: his old friend caught us. Then I ran into him
- 55:02Speaker 1: at a game and he asked if we could exchange
- 55:04Speaker 1: numbers and meet up some time for dinner. I didn't
- 55:07Speaker 1: give him my number, and I told him it was
- 55:10Speaker 1: a one night stand that shouldn't have happened. A few
- 55:13Speaker 1: days later, my cousin called me and asked me to
- 55:17Speaker 1: be a third wheel on a date because she was nervous.
- 55:20Speaker 1: I showed up and saw she was on a date
- 55:22Speaker 1: with the same guy, and I didn't go in. I
- 55:25Speaker 1: didn't say anything to her about the guy. I called
- 55:29Speaker 1: her two weeks later to see if she and the
- 55:31Speaker 1: guy hit it off, and she said he gave her
- 55:34Speaker 1: an STI, so she dumped him. I was disgusted, but
- 55:39Speaker 1: relieved because I had gotten a clean bill of health
- 55:42Speaker 1: after my encounter with him. Now, the tricky part is
- 55:46Speaker 1: how he met my nerdy sister. My sister is very
- 55:49Speaker 1: naive to be thirty five years old, so he latched
- 55:52Speaker 1: on to her and moved into her nice house within weeks.
- 55:56Speaker 1: When she showed me a picture, I didn't recognize him,
- 56:00Speaker 1: bald head and sunglasses. She calls him Stephen, and everyone
- 56:04Speaker 1: else calls him by his middle name. My cousin, and
- 56:07Speaker 1: I want to tell her that she eloped with the devil,
- 56:10Speaker 1: but we don't know how. Do I let him use
- 56:14Speaker 1: her and cheat on her? Or do I tell him?
- 56:16Speaker 1: Do I tell her she's married a whore? All right?
- 56:21Speaker 1: Not your place, not your business? Okay, seriously, I mean
- 56:26Speaker 1: you're right when you said that we would tell you
- 56:29Speaker 1: to mind your own business. Normally would we would definitely
- 56:31Speaker 1: say that. My question to you is, why, all of
- 56:35Speaker 1: a sudden do you want to tell her after she's
- 56:38Speaker 1: already married the guy. I do think this is different
- 56:41Speaker 1: because A, it's your sister, and be both you and
- 56:44Speaker 1: your cousin have had dealings with him. You both slept
- 56:47Speaker 1: with him. You because you said you were drunk off
- 56:49Speaker 1: to quila her. I don't know why, but anyway, it's
- 56:55Speaker 1: the whole timing thing that's off here. I do get
- 56:58Speaker 1: why you're concerned it's sister, But did you not tell
- 57:03Speaker 1: her because she eloped and you didn't get a chance
- 57:05Speaker 1: to initially because you didn't mention that in a letter?
- 57:09Speaker 1: But what about when they started dating and he was
- 57:11Speaker 1: living with her and her nice home as you put it,
- 57:14Speaker 1: where were you then? Where were you then? Why couldn't
- 57:16Speaker 1: you if you wanted to say someone, if you cared
- 57:18Speaker 1: so much, why couldn't you say something then? I mean,
- 57:20Speaker 1: you had that window to bring it up, but you didn't.
- 57:23Speaker 1: So I just think now it's best to let the
- 57:25Speaker 1: situation play out. He is her husband, and I can
- 57:29Speaker 1: almost guarantee you that she's not going to take very
- 57:32Speaker 1: kindly to you telling her that you and your cousin
- 57:35Speaker 1: slept with him and what happened after that. She'll get matt,
- 57:38Speaker 1: she'll get defensive because she loves him. This is her husband,
- 57:41Speaker 1: and she's gonna think you're jealous. I mean, that's just
- 57:43Speaker 1: how the game goes. So it's nice if you want
- 57:46Speaker 1: to save your sister, but I just think it's too much,
- 57:50Speaker 1: too late. Now. You got to let this from play
- 57:52Speaker 1: out and just be there to catch her win or
- 57:54Speaker 1: if she finds out that's it. That's all you can do. Steve, Yeah,
- 57:59Speaker 1: he's for the lady. This letter is so confusing to
- 58:04Speaker 1: me because I don't know what your angle is here,
- 58:07Speaker 1: and I don't know what you want. You're thirty three
- 58:11Speaker 1: year old single woman. Your oldest sister just married a
- 58:14Speaker 1: man that's fur the streets. Now you don't say in
- 58:19Speaker 1: all of this letter, okay, but yes she does. So
- 58:23Speaker 1: let me help you. I know you're going to say
- 58:27Speaker 1: I need to mind my own business, and Shirley is
- 58:30Speaker 1: exactly right. That's exactly what we're going to say. You
- 58:34Speaker 1: knew it because none of this is your business. And
- 58:37Speaker 1: I got news for you. I'm not really fond of
- 58:40Speaker 1: the timing of it, and I have some conflicting information.
- 58:46Speaker 1: But my brother in law is a horror. W h
- 58:51Speaker 1: O r E. My brother in law is a horror.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Very important line. When I graduated from college ten years ago,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I went to a party and he was one of
- 59:05Speaker 1: my classmate's boyfriends at the time. Ten years ago. Ten
- 59:15Speaker 1: he was my classmate's boyfriend at the time. I was
- 59:20Speaker 1: annoyed by him flirting and staring at me all night.
- 59:24Speaker 1: She made she's annoyed. But listen to the next line.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I had way too much tequila. He followed me into
- 59:34Speaker 1: the bathroom and I had sex with him in the tub.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Wait a minute, I thought you said your brother in
- 59:41Speaker 1: law was a whore. See that's what you said. You
- 59:49Speaker 1: said your brother in law was a whore. Now we
- 59:52Speaker 1: allow this type of thing on this show because of determinology.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But you call your brother in law whore and you
- 59:59Speaker 1: say you are annoyed by him flirting and stead at
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: you all night. Then you said I had too much
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: a keyla. He followed me into the bathroom, we had
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: sex in the tub. I'm confused. So why are your
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: brother why he got to be the one? Why he
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: gets a bad name because she was a drunk after
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: the killers? Girl by I have more? All right, Look,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: we'll have part two and gather yourself, Steve. We'll have
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up in twenty three
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: minutes after the hour Strawberry letters, subject He's for the streets.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: to morning show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. The subject is He's for the streets.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: This very conflicting letter of this thirty three year old
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: single woman who oldest sister just married a man. That's
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: for the streets. But like I said earlier, I don't
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: appreciate the timing of this and the conflicting information. So
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: here we go. I know before that you were surely
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: gonna need to say I need to mind my own business.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: You do. You do need to mind your own business
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: because none of this is yours, and I'll tell you why.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: First of all, let's start with the timing of it.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: My brother in law is a whore billy, Okay. When
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I graduated from college ten years ago. Ten years ago,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: they were at a party and one of your classmate's
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: boyfriend was this guy right here now. You were annoyed
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: by him flirting and staring at you all night long.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Then you said I had way too much to mkula.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: He followed me into the bathroom and I had sex
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: with him in the table. You just said he was
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: a whore. I'm just so confused right now, I promise
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you I am, but I'm gonna let them gonna read
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you a letter like you wrote it. He is a whore, okay,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: all I remember I listened to this line. I was
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: trying to get out of that bathroom, and you know
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: while he was getting out, trying to get out of
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the bathroom before his girlfriend calls. So now not only
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: is he a whore, you probably think he real conniving
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and tricky too, because it's probably not you, but you
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: trying to get out of that for His girlfriend called it.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: She was your classmate, invited you to the party, then
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you took her boyfriend in a bathroom and had sex
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: with the whore in the bathtub. That's what you're saying,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: little girl. I'm just reading your letter. Then I ran
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: into him at a game and he asked me could
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: we exchange numbers and meet up sometime for dinner. I
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: didn't give him my number, and I told him it
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: was a one night stand that should not have happened.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: A few days later, days later, now we're talking ten
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: years ago, y'all, my cousin called me and asked me
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: to be a third wheel on the day because she
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: was nervous. I showed up and saw she was on
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the date with the same guy, so I didn't go in.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I didn't say anything to her about the guy. I
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: called it. Two weeks later to see she and the
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: guy hit it off. She said he gave her STI,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: so she dumped him. I was disgusted, but relieved because
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I'd gotten a clean bill of health after my encounter
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: with him. Now the tricky part is now he's met
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: my nerdy sister. Your sisters very naive to be thirty
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: five years old. So he latched on to her, moved
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: into a nice house within weeks. When she showed me
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: a picture, I didn't recognize him with a ball hid
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: and sunglasses. She calls him Stephen, and everyone else calls
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: him by his middle name, My cousin, and I want
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: to tell her that she's eloped with the devil, but
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: we don't know how Do I let him use her
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: and cheat on her? Or do I tell her she's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: married to Oh? Now, let's go over a couple of things.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: The first one to inform your sister that she's married
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: to a whore. You're gonna have to tell her why
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you know this. Then you're gonna have to go ten
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: years ago, while he was a whore, he took me
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: into a bathroom at a party over my girlfriend's house.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: That invited me bad and I was annoyed by him,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: but he took me in the bathroom, and since I
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: was annoyed, I had sex in the bathtoob with the whore. Okay, okay,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: then you're gonna have to move up to y'all's cousin
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: who ran up into the same whore and just in
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: a matter of less than two weeks had sex with
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: that whore again. All y'all in the same family. Obviously,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: y'all don't know a whore when you see one, nor
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: do you know the definition of one. So now she
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: got an STI and now they felt relieved. Ten years later,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: this is a different man, could be a totally different man.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: He even got a ball head, and you didn't recognize
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: him at all. Now y'all want to go in there
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: and bust bubble why you don't know this man. All
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: this that you had to happen was ten years ago.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: This could be a totally different man right now. I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: can assure you all of us have some things in
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: our past that are no longer a part of us anymore,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: all of us, so you're going back there to point
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: this out is wrong. Secondly, how many times have men
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: been one way and then some woman ends up with
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: a better finished product. How many times have you dated
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: a man and it didn't work out with y'all? And
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: you look up and he married somewhere now with a family.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Now you looking at him. She don't know him, Yes,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: she do. She knows who he is now, y'all wasn't
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: good together then, but now he married somebody. He's a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: different guy, so she got a better finished product. What
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: you need to do do? I let him use her
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: and she don't hurt. No, you don't know what he's
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: going to do. You need to mind your damn business
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: and stop calling him a whore, you and your cousin,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: because it seems like in this letter the whorey was
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: consensual between more than one at the time. Now, if
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: you don't want to be one, stop calling him one.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: All right, he was the one in the bathtub, Thank you.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: It ends up at Steve Harvey FM with your thoughts

- 1:08:45Speaker 1: about it because I wanted the Lions to win, and
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: any time the Steelers don't, it's a joyous day at
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: the at the Pimple House home. I mean, they was
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: giving the ball away. Man. I never seen the game

- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you know, But the hospitals are their hospitals are slowing
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: up a bit. It seems to be some more people
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: have gotten vaccinated, you know, coming down a lot of
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: people and had it and they got anybody's now so
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: you can get it again, but it may not be
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: as rough. So I just appreciative of all the hospital stuff. Hey,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: here we go, guys. I got a closer remark for
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you today. And this song closing remark that I'm going
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: to do is something I found on the internet by
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Bishop td Jake's and I'll tell you, man, when I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: found this, I started playing it and I played it
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: so many times till till it just made me cry.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I was just sitting up by myself at my desk
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: and I just played it and until it made me cry, man,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: because I was just feeling what he was saying so much.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: And it's I thought it would be great to play
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: for my audience because I want you all to hear something.
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: And the reason that it affected me so much is
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: because I was having a conversation with a young person about.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: They were going through some things, and you know, the
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: guy kept telling me, man, I don't want to go
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: through this. Man, I don't want to go through this.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: What I've learned in my life is to get to it.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: The only way to get to it is through. Listen
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: to what I'm saying. The only way to get to
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: it is through. I've tried everything, y'all. I promise you
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: I've tried. I've tried to go around it. I've tried
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: to go under it. I've tried to get over it.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: See when you try to get over something but you
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: don't go through it, it resurfaces. If you try to
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: get around something you mean avoid it, It's gonna risk
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: gonna resurface. It's gonna show itself again. If you try
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to get under it, go up under, circumvent it. When
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: you pop up, you're gonna see it again. The only
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: way to get through it is through. And this young
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: guy kept telling me, I don't like this. Man, this
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: is uncomfortable. I said, I got it, But young man,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: you gotta go through it now, I said, I said, man,
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: and you remember the other week I was talking about.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: I said, I just learned to embrace the suffer I
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: don't know. I ain't been to suffer. Now, hold on, Parking,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: hold on, You're not gonna suffer. I was listening. I
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: saw this online with Bishop Jakes. Now I'm gonna play
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: this for you on the radio right now what I heard,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: and I'm going to play it three times in a row.
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: And the reason I'm gonna play it three times in
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: a row is because in case you don't quite get
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: it the first time, and then if you sort of
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: get it the second time. But I'm only gonna play
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: it three times. I've listened to this thing, I'm telling
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: you over twenty times. At every time I hear it
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: is most impactful. This is for anybody that's going through
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: it right now. This is for anybody that's questioning what's
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: happening to them on your journey. I'm gonna play this.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: This is my buddy, Bishop T. D. Jake's go Dad.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: I have never met anybody who became incredibly successful in
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: any area of their life until they have suffered a
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: sweat it and sacrifice and kept their focus and fucked
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: through tears and trials and tests, and if you have
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: a dream and you commit to it it Grell, I
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: have never met anybody who became incredibly successful in any
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: area of their life until they have suffered a sweat
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: it and sacrifice and kept their focus and fucked through
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: tears and trials and tests. And if you have a
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: dream and you commit to it, it grew. I have
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: never met anybody who became incredibly successful in any area
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: of their life until they have suffered and sweated at
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: sacrifice and kept their focus and fucked through tears and
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: childs and tests. And if you have a dream and
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you commit to it, it led to man. See that
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: was so powerful to me because after Bishop Jake's described
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: what happens that, he said he had no he don't
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: know nobody, nobody man that ain't fought through tears and
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: suffered and sacrifice and kept the focus. But then after
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: describing all this heartship, he said, but if you stay
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: committed to your dream, it will come to pass. See
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: that's the part man, which gets me to the part
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: while I was saying, man, but I got this from
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Bishop Jake's and I text him. I told him, I said,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: bro he I send him. I sent him the clip.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: I said, I saw this about you. This really he said, wild,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: Thank you man. But let me tell you something, y'all.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: I said that to say this, in order to get
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: to it, the only way to get to it is
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: through it. You're gonna have to go through something. It's
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: it's you're not exempt. And it ain't just you bishops saying.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: I've never met anybody, anybody that became successful and they
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: didn't go through it. That's it. You gotta go through it.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: But if you stay committed your dream. Our closing remarks today,
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: I hope y'all got somebody that like I did. Wow,
