- 2:58Speaker 1: In the interview was a fan fantastic We hit it off,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you know, you know, because you have I'm a big
- 3:03Speaker 1: fan of yours, you know, because I love it with
- 3:06Speaker 1: individuals you know who have these multi lifetime when they multilifestyle.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You know, you're married, you're acting, you you're on TV,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and then you have to deal with other legal issues,
- 3:16Speaker 1: which is like a multitude of hats. You're an entrepreneur,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you employ people, you know, your roade Eye, COVID and
- 3:22Speaker 1: all those things, and so you not coming back on
- 3:25Speaker 1: the show immediately, didn't It's just a tease because I'm
- 3:28Speaker 1: such a big fan of yours. How are you doing?
- 3:31Speaker 3: I am good and thank you so much your show
- 3:35Speaker 3: and your people, your audience even when we did the
- 3:38Speaker 3: show two years ago, reached out to me after the show.
- 3:41Speaker 3: So I am happy to be back and I'm just
- 3:43Speaker 3: glad that you're here.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yes, well let's get out of the way. How can
- 3:46Speaker 1: how can my audience reach out to your contact you
- 3:49Speaker 1: for your services as a lawyer.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Well, definitely, I am on the Internet and all aspects,
- 3:55Speaker 3: so I am on all social media platforms. Tiffany Hawes,
- 3:58Speaker 3: that's Tiffany with an eye. You can find my business
- 4:02Speaker 3: the Hawes Law Firm website www dot Thehaws Law Firm,
- 4:06Speaker 3: dot com and any which of those ways you're able
- 4:09Speaker 3: to get in contact with me, right, and.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So getting contacted you there's always I remember when I
- 4:15Speaker 1: interviewed your first time, it's always when you are a person,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you know, just reality shows, because reality shows kind of
- 4:22Speaker 1: push the envelope and you're a true professional. Let's say
- 4:24Speaker 1: a true professional. You went to college, you got your
- 4:27Speaker 1: law degree, you have a law firm, you have a practice,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and sometimes a reality show can blur the reality of
- 4:34Speaker 1: is is she really a lawyer? Did you have to
- 4:36Speaker 1: deal with that?
- 4:38Speaker 3: I definitely did not have to deal with that. Congratulations
- 4:42Speaker 3: not to do with that, because I was the same
- 4:46Speaker 3: person on television as I am in person, and so
- 4:49Speaker 3: there was no difference. I think what ends up happening
- 4:52Speaker 3: with reality TV is that you have the television persona
- 4:58Speaker 3: of who everyone thinks that you are or what you're
- 5:01Speaker 3: portraying yourself to be, and then you have your social
- 5:04Speaker 3: media persona, and then you have real life. All three
- 5:07Speaker 3: of mine matchups. So for me, it wasn't anything that
- 5:12Speaker 3: I really had to honestly deal with after television.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So let's go back a little bit with the show,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you know, ladies who lists? How were you approached to
- 5:21Speaker 1: do that show and why did you do the show?
- 5:24Speaker 3: So? I was approached to do the show because they
- 5:27Speaker 3: were looking for a show in Atlanta about real estate
- 5:32Speaker 3: and they wanted it to highlight African American business real
- 5:40Speaker 3: estate women. And so when you're talking about Atlanta and
- 5:44Speaker 3: real estate, because I've utilized social media in a way
- 5:48Speaker 3: to put myself in my brand out there when you
- 5:52Speaker 3: would have no other choice but to see like, oh,
- 5:55Speaker 3: who is she? You know, because he's branded herself in
- 5:59Speaker 3: a way where you know, my hashtag everyone's favorite closing attorney.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And so because of all the hard work that I
- 6:06Speaker 3: did over over the years to brand myself on social media,
- 6:10Speaker 3: I was found to be one of the ones that
- 6:13Speaker 3: they were interested in, you know, doing the show with.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Now now they found you? Now still were you? Was
- 6:21Speaker 1: it a goal? Because you're watching TV, You're watching you know,
- 6:24Speaker 1: you're pretty smart than the whole practice that really reality,
- 6:27Speaker 1: The TVs could be a giant infocommercial. You can use
- 6:30Speaker 1: it to market your brand, you know, put your products
- 6:33Speaker 1: out there if that's what you're going into it. So
- 6:36Speaker 1: when they come through youse already, like I said, you
- 6:38Speaker 1: are not intimidated about being a law professional using social
- 6:42Speaker 1: media to grow your brain. You were not intimidated about that.
- 6:46Speaker 1: You saw the advantages of that. When they approached you,
- 6:50Speaker 1: what ran through your mind and did you have any stipulations.
- 6:55Speaker 3: So when they approached me to do the show, because
- 6:57Speaker 3: the show was centered around real estate, and real estate
- 7:00Speaker 3: is what one hundred percent did every single day, I
- 7:04Speaker 3: saw it as an opportunity. I saw it as a
- 7:07Speaker 3: place for me to even further grow my brand and
- 7:11Speaker 3: the reality of social media. You know, you're already in
- 7:15Speaker 3: front of tons of people. So being on television wasn't scary,
- 7:19Speaker 3: but it also wasn't something that I sought after. I
- 7:23Speaker 3: never I've never wanted to like, I've never had a
- 7:25Speaker 3: desire to be on television. I've always had the desire
- 7:31Speaker 3: to be an attorney. And so I reached that goal.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And in me being an attorney and in me focusing
- 7:38Speaker 3: on one area, which you know, of course, is will estate.
- 7:41Speaker 3: When you become that expert on it, then people will
- 7:45Speaker 3: seek you out for your expertise, right, you know, mine
- 7:49Speaker 3: is real estate. And so that's what happened.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Well, you know, it's interesting because you know, you you
- 7:55Speaker 1: know you're successful, let's be true about you know, and
- 7:59Speaker 1: that's what You're an attractive person and those equalities, and
- 8:03Speaker 1: then you your social media savvy and you're an attorney.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Those qualities. Did you did anybody tell you, Oh, no, Tiffany,
- 8:11Speaker 1: you're crazy. You shouldn't do that. What would the what
- 8:15Speaker 1: would the feedback when? Because you have to share this
- 8:17Speaker 1: information with people that you love, what you were, who
- 8:19Speaker 1: you respect, How did they approach you about being on
- 8:23Speaker 1: a reality show. Let's go, let's go do the elephant
- 8:25Speaker 1: the room. Reality shows don't look good to everybody.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Right, And I did get that more so from my husband,
- 8:36Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I didn't want to bring that up. I didn't want
- 8:39Speaker 1: to bring that up.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Yeah, my husband's very conservative, not on any social media platform,
- 8:45Speaker 3: never has been, and he's very private and so, wow,
- 8:51Speaker 3: you drugged.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Your very private husband.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I want it. Wow, extremely private. I mean for it
- 8:59Speaker 3: to be an his day and age and him not
- 9:01Speaker 3: to even have a social media that kind of explains
- 9:04Speaker 3: to you how private he is. And so he had
- 9:07Speaker 3: tons of concerns. He had concerns about, you know, what
- 9:11Speaker 3: is this going to do for the family, because you
- 9:13Speaker 3: know they want negativity? What is it going to do
- 9:16Speaker 3: for your business because they might try to harness you know,
- 9:19Speaker 3: your business.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:21Speaker 3: But like I explained to him and others that may
- 9:24Speaker 3: have had those concerns, when you're when you walk in
- 9:29Speaker 3: who you are, all aspects of life, whether there's cameras
- 9:33Speaker 3: or not, it's going to be really difficult for people
- 9:37Speaker 3: to turn what you do into negative. So if I'm
- 9:44Speaker 3: purporting to be something that I'm not, then it's going
- 9:46Speaker 3: to be easy to say, oh, well, these are the
- 9:49Speaker 3: negative things or whatever. But in my case, I wanted
- 9:53Speaker 3: to I don't know how to be anyone else but me,
- 9:57Speaker 3: so in my marriage and my family and my business,
- 10:00Speaker 3: and even as a reality TV show star, it was
- 10:05Speaker 3: just another day. And I kept that same perspective when
- 10:08Speaker 3: it came to the entire show, and you know, throughout
- 10:14Speaker 3: the filming, you know, it made my husband a little
- 10:17Speaker 3: bit more comfortable. I mean, he's still I mean, he
- 10:19Speaker 3: asked if he would rather be television or not, he's
- 10:22Speaker 3: always gonna say no.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Right, Well, you know he really got that. I saw
- 10:26Speaker 1: some episodes, you know, he really got comfortable. He really
- 10:28Speaker 1: got into the show. A couple of episodes. You know,
- 10:30Speaker 1: he realized that he realized what it is. You know
- 10:33Speaker 1: the thing about it is that I really appreciated the
- 10:36Speaker 1: approach that you guys took and and and just blame
- 10:40Speaker 1: your family. And I think this was all about design
- 10:42Speaker 1: because everything's produced and and I guess what I'm trying
- 10:46Speaker 1: to make everybody understand is that there are people who
- 10:49Speaker 1: do these reality shows and that's the level that they
- 10:53Speaker 1: want to showcase. They want to show that that energy,
- 10:56Speaker 1: they want to show maybe in that negativity. And so
- 10:59Speaker 1: when you when you look at these other shows out
- 11:02Speaker 1: there and you saw what your show was doing, did
- 11:05Speaker 1: anybody try to push donvelope as far as producing? You said, Nope,
- 11:09Speaker 1: that's not me. As not attorney at Tiffany Halls.
- 11:13Speaker 3: I think with reality TV, so this is what I
- 11:16Speaker 3: tell people. They can't film break it down to us,
- 11:19Speaker 3: different break it down to us. They can't film something
- 11:23Speaker 3: that you did not do or say yes, if you
- 11:27Speaker 3: saw it, then it happened. What reality television? What happens
- 11:32Speaker 3: in reality TV? They give you these things called they're
- 11:35Speaker 3: called beats. So if I'm being filmed, they're gonna say, hey,
- 11:39Speaker 3: we at least want you to bring up X, Y
- 11:42Speaker 3: and Z.
- 11:43Speaker 1: That's the producing part. They're not writing it.
- 11:46Speaker 3: You just bring this up exactly. We need these issues
- 11:52Speaker 3: brought up, right, however, y'all bring them up. Bring them up.
- 11:55Speaker 3: So if somebody were to bring up an issue with
- 11:58Speaker 3: with me, my response is going to be whatever my
- 12:01Speaker 3: response sponse is going to be. And so if you
- 12:05Speaker 3: bring up an issue with me and you're fishing for
- 12:07Speaker 3: let's say, drama, or you're fishing for a response that's
- 12:11Speaker 3: going to excite the people, more than likely you're not
- 12:14Speaker 3: going to get that out of me if that's not
- 12:17Speaker 3: my true response. If I don't care about something, I don't,
- 12:20Speaker 3: I'm not going to fake care about it on national
- 12:23Speaker 3: television so that I have a bigger or wider audience
- 12:27Speaker 3: or so that they can see this dramatic side of me.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Because remember I didn't come on television to be a star.
- 12:34Speaker 3: It was an opportunity presented to me for what I
- 12:36Speaker 3: did professionally as a professional attorney. You know, I mean,
- 12:42Speaker 3: And even in that aspect, I'm just I'm chilled, you know.
- 12:46Speaker 3: And if I don't if I don't talk to you,
- 12:47Speaker 3: I don't talk to you. If I don't have an
- 12:49Speaker 3: issue with something, I don't have an issue for something,
- 12:51Speaker 3: and I'm not going to make it an issue or
- 12:55Speaker 3: make it bigger than what I would in real life,
- 12:57Speaker 3: just because there are cameras in front of me. It's
- 13:00Speaker 3: just not it's not my personality.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Well, I'm talking to attorney Tiffany Hall's attorney, Tiffany Halls.
- 13:05Speaker 1: You know you've seen her on Ladies Who List, very
- 13:08Speaker 1: popular reality TV show. So what is life you know
- 13:11Speaker 1: after the Ladies Who Lists? Give us, give us some
- 13:14Speaker 1: like some buzzwords so I can sell everybody to come back.
- 13:18Speaker 1: We're about to do some at another level here, Tiffany, And.
- 13:23Speaker 3: So life after Ladies Who List is my life during
- 13:27Speaker 3: and before Ladies Who I am still out here slaying
- 13:30Speaker 3: in real estate in these Atlantic I'm definitely when I
- 13:35Speaker 3: do go out, you know, I do you know people
- 13:38Speaker 3: are you know well aware of who I am beyond
- 13:42Speaker 3: you know, my social media presence. So but yeah, I'm
- 13:46Speaker 3: still the same.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Oh you gonna do? Are you gonna do TV again?
- 13:51Speaker 3: It all depends on, you know, the opportunity. I'm all
- 13:53Speaker 3: about if if an opportunity is presented to me and
- 13:58Speaker 3: I'm able to.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Say, you might be a TV judge? How about that?
- 14:01Speaker 1: How about will you be.
- 14:02Speaker 3: A TV judge? I'll be whatever guy, come on.
- 14:08Speaker 1: That Judge Halls, come on that, come on that people school.
- 14:11Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't know if they want to
- 14:13Speaker 3: judge Halls. You know, I love the real judges that
- 14:18Speaker 3: give real responsible what they're gonna get from me.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Absolutely, I appreciate that we're talking to Attorney Tiffany Halls.
- 14:25Speaker 1: When we come back, we go. It's all about the
- 14:27Speaker 1: real estate. It's all about how you can maximize and
- 14:31Speaker 1: grow your social media. It's all about understanding how to
- 14:35Speaker 1: take your balance and appreci your balance. I'm talking about
- 14:39Speaker 1: that bottom line. Right after this break.
- 14:49Speaker 4: We'll be right back with more money Making conversations Masterclass
- 14:53Speaker 4: with rough Shawn McDonald. You are now tuned into the
- 14:57Speaker 4: money making conversations, many of them Operation with Rashawn McDonald.

- 15:06Speaker 1: concert promoter, and recently he was inducted into the Hall
- 15:09Speaker 1: of Fame by Stevie Wanner's powerhouse radio station KJLH one
- 15:14Speaker 1: on two point three FM. Kirk has never been one
- 15:16Speaker 1: to stand still. We talked about his new podcast and
- 15:19Speaker 1: why it is important to diversify.
- 15:21Speaker 5: I'm honored at whatever capacity, to be able to do
- 15:25Speaker 5: life with people, to be able to be part of
- 15:27Speaker 5: people's journey for God, to to loanely words of music
- 15:31Speaker 5: or whatever that I can borrow from him, to just
- 15:33Speaker 5: be a catalyst. That's something that I take a great
- 15:37Speaker 5: level of humility and responsibility in And it was never
- 15:40Speaker 5: my intent to try to do something that would be
- 15:44Speaker 5: left of center. That was that was That was never
- 15:46Speaker 5: my tippy.
- 15:46Speaker 1: If you want to hear this full interview with Kurt Franklin,
- 15:49Speaker 1: visit money Making Conversation dot com. Keep on in.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Now let's return to Money Making Conversations Masterclass with Rashawn McDonald.
- 16:00Speaker 1: This has always been very popular in legal profession, but
- 16:03Speaker 1: a reality TV show made even bigger. It's Attorney in
- 16:05Speaker 1: Tiffany Halls. But the thing that I enjoy when I
- 16:08Speaker 1: bring individuals on that have multi levels of income, that
- 16:13Speaker 1: have multi levels of structuring their life, because it's a
- 16:16Speaker 1: very complicated life because you have to deal with it
- 16:18Speaker 1: on a databasis and you have to have one personality. Otherwise,
- 16:22Speaker 1: when you have levels of personality and people could people
- 16:25Speaker 1: can like avoid you with play. So can you tell us, Tiffany,
- 16:29Speaker 1: how does your day start? What time you get up,
- 16:30Speaker 1: what's a typical day when you start, Let's say Monday morning.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Okay, so Monday mornings, of course, they're always crazier than
- 16:37Speaker 3: any other days because you're coming off the weekend, and
- 16:40Speaker 3: the weekend is where you know, real estate really happens.
- 16:43Speaker 3: That's when people are going under.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Conci So so Monday and Friday are probably big days
- 16:48Speaker 1: for you then.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Right, yes, Monday getting new contracts, Fridays closing on contracts.
- 16:54Speaker 3: So yeah, so my Mondays is, you know, I probably
- 16:57Speaker 3: wake up around seven and I work out. You know,
- 17:03Speaker 3: it really helps, you know, with my mental health and
- 17:06Speaker 3: just you know, staying focused. Right now, it's the summertime,
- 17:09Speaker 3: so I get my kids ready and take them to camp,
- 17:12Speaker 3: and then I head into the office and it's on
- 17:15Speaker 3: to deal with all the many issues that come with
- 17:18Speaker 3: real estate. I mean, every day is a new day.
- 17:20Speaker 3: And you know, I've been doing this long enough, but
- 17:22Speaker 3: I swear new issues come every single day, and so
- 17:26Speaker 3: you know, it just goes to tackling those issues and
- 17:29Speaker 3: then as soon as I'm done with that, I'm back
- 17:31Speaker 3: to being a mom picking up kids and you know,
- 17:34Speaker 3: going to practice and doing the rest.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Now, now, let's talk about this real estate. Now to
- 17:42Speaker 1: get into what you're doing, you're closing attorney. Correct. Does
- 17:46Speaker 1: one have to be a lawyer to do that?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so in Georgia you are required to sign your
- 17:53Speaker 3: closing documents in front of a license to Georgia attorney,
- 17:57Speaker 3: and so for in Georgia it is a requirement. And
- 17:59Speaker 3: others say it's like Florida. You don't have to be
- 18:02Speaker 3: a license attorney in order to do what I do
- 18:04Speaker 3: on a daily basis. But here we are definitely a
- 18:07Speaker 3: necessary party of a transaction being an attorney.
- 18:10Speaker 1: You know, whenever I'm on the show, you know, one
- 18:12Speaker 1: of the questions I get asked all the time is,
- 18:15Speaker 1: especially from entrepreneurs, is social media? How do you use
- 18:20Speaker 1: effectively use social media? Like you said, your hashtag everyone loves,
- 18:24Speaker 1: Everyone's Favorite closing attorney is your hashtag that you've used
- 18:27Speaker 1: and you've built out. And if anybody don't know about hashtag,
- 18:30Speaker 1: they're very effective because once you use it and you
- 18:33Speaker 1: do a search on it, and then this shows all
- 18:35Speaker 1: your posts and you show people all engaged in that
- 18:37Speaker 1: whole little it's almost like creating a little group that's
- 18:40Speaker 1: tied to your your hashtags. And so it's very smart
- 18:43Speaker 1: to use hashtags, and her hashtag is everyone's favorite closing attorney.
- 18:49Speaker 1: How did you? How did you learn the master that
- 18:51Speaker 1: part of the social media game.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Well, with social with social media, the biggest thing about
- 18:57Speaker 3: social media is being consistent. People don't know what you're
- 19:01Speaker 3: doing until you remind them, and you have to do
- 19:03Speaker 3: so on a daily basis. And so when I found
- 19:07Speaker 3: that formula of being consistent and posting all the time,
- 19:12Speaker 3: then you want to give something that people can remember.
- 19:15Speaker 3: People may not always remember your name like Pivity Halls
- 19:19Speaker 3: or what's the law firm name? They may forget that,
- 19:21Speaker 3: but if you put your hashtag there enough, they're going
- 19:25Speaker 3: to remember that hashtag and in order to find you,
- 19:28Speaker 3: they may just go to the hashtag everyone's favorite, you know,
- 19:31Speaker 3: close an attorney. And so it's that little saying that
- 19:35Speaker 3: reminds people of who you are. They may not remember
- 19:38Speaker 3: my name personally, they may just remember how I look,
- 19:41Speaker 3: or they may just remember that hashtag. And so it's
- 19:44Speaker 3: just a quick way to remind people what you do
- 19:47Speaker 3: and for them to be able to find you.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Okay, Now, in the social media game, everybody's into numbers.
- 19:54Speaker 1: You know, how many followers or likes. What is I'm
- 19:57Speaker 1: just I'm not asking you be an expert, but you
- 19:59Speaker 1: in the so you know how people react and when
- 20:01Speaker 1: people will make you an influencer and all these things.
- 20:04Speaker 1: What's a nice range When you feel that you have
- 20:07Speaker 1: an effective of social media? Number of followers are likes
- 20:11Speaker 1: that impacted you?
- 20:14Speaker 3: I don't think the number of followers or likes impacted
- 20:17Speaker 3: my business. I think it was the quality right engagement
- 20:21Speaker 3: the people who I wanted to follow me. It was
- 20:24Speaker 3: about them following me. So even when I had let's
- 20:27Speaker 3: say less than ten thousand followers who was following me
- 20:31Speaker 3: will estate agents, those are the people that I wanted
- 20:34Speaker 3: to follow me because those are the people that would
- 20:37Speaker 3: have the greatest impact on my business. And so I
- 20:41Speaker 3: don't think it's the number of followers that you have.
- 20:44Speaker 3: For some people, they do care about that because they
- 20:47Speaker 3: feel like it gives you some type of credibility. But
- 20:49Speaker 3: for most people, they don't care about it. They care
- 20:53Speaker 3: about if you're giving really good information or whatever product
- 20:56Speaker 3: or service that you have if they needed at that time.
- 21:00Speaker 3: And so for business people, if you're focusing on social media,
- 21:04Speaker 3: don't focus on the amount of followers that you have
- 21:07Speaker 3: or the amount of likes that you have. Focus on
- 21:10Speaker 3: getting the right people to follow you. So for me,
- 21:13Speaker 3: as you get a closing attorney, I want real estate
- 21:15Speaker 3: agents to follow me. So what am I going to do.
- 21:18Speaker 3: I'm going to go follow real estate agents. I'm going
- 21:20Speaker 3: to go on their page and I'm going to engage
- 21:23Speaker 3: with them. I'm going to like their posts. I'm going
- 21:25Speaker 3: to comment under their posts. I'm going to DM them,
- 21:29Speaker 3: you know when they have nice stories going on, because
- 21:31Speaker 3: I want them to follow me so that when I
- 21:34Speaker 3: post my information, they utilize my business. Okay, So I
- 21:38Speaker 3: think it's more about the quality of followers than it
- 21:41Speaker 3: is the quantity of them.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Okay, cool. This is important because because like I had,
- 21:46Speaker 1: you know, I had other people running my social media
- 21:48Speaker 1: account and so I took it over. They liked what
- 21:51Speaker 1: they were doing with it, and they had me following
- 21:53Speaker 1: thirteen hundred people, and I have like eight hundred and
- 21:56Speaker 1: sixty thousand Facebook followers and I and I didn't even
- 22:00Speaker 1: know these people. I didn't know who they were, and
- 22:02Speaker 1: that reduced I just started just unfollowing these people. I'm
- 22:04Speaker 1: down at one hundred and ninety eight people that I
- 22:07Speaker 1: kind of that I know and so so, so that's
- 22:11Speaker 1: what you're saying, ra Sean. If you're going to follow somebody,
- 22:13Speaker 1: follow somebody that that that you know, that has a
- 22:17Speaker 1: sense of purpose as to why you're follow them. Because
- 22:19Speaker 1: when you follow them, when you post, you go on
- 22:21Speaker 1: their feed or do they their feed goes on your
- 22:23Speaker 1: feed when you follow them? How does that work? Yeah?
- 22:25Speaker 3: So on on Facebook, when your friends, it doesn't matter.
- 22:29Speaker 3: You get to see, you know, whatever they do, or
- 22:31Speaker 3: they get to see whatever you do. But on Instagram,
- 22:34Speaker 3: in order for people to see what you're doing, they
- 22:36Speaker 3: have to actually follow you. And so a lot of
- 22:38Speaker 3: times you got to work for the follow. People just
- 22:41Speaker 3: don't follow you just because I mean maybe back you know,
- 22:45Speaker 3: a few years ago, but now people are very intentional
- 22:49Speaker 3: about who they follow, So you have to give people
- 22:52Speaker 3: a reason to follow you. You have to make sure
- 22:55Speaker 3: when people come to my page, if they're a real
- 22:57Speaker 3: estate agent, they're gonna follow me because the content that
- 23:00Speaker 3: I'm giving is actually gonna help them in some way
- 23:04Speaker 3: with their business. So I have to earn that. So
- 23:06Speaker 3: I can't just post, you know, random things all the
- 23:10Speaker 3: time or cute pictures. I have to give information that's
- 23:13Speaker 3: going to be useful for them and their business because
- 23:16Speaker 3: they got to work for their follow They need to
- 23:19Speaker 3: be following me for a reason and not just just
- 23:21Speaker 3: to be following.
- 23:22Speaker 1: And that's really true. That's really true because you know,
- 23:26Speaker 1: I'm an influencer when it comes to food. Now, I've tried.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Now I post something about something else, and when I
- 23:34Speaker 1: post my breakfast, you know, thousand two thousand likes I
- 23:37Speaker 1: post something else. They can't care less. So you're saying,
- 23:40Speaker 1: and I'm hearing this clear and everybody she's is if
- 23:42Speaker 1: you're going to have followers, make sure you appeal to
- 23:45Speaker 1: the people who follow you and also have a reason
- 23:48Speaker 1: for other people to follow you. That's what you're saying. Correct,
- 23:50Speaker 1: Attorney Halls, Correct. Yeah, so she's you know this is
- 23:54Speaker 1: this is like this is free service she give me
- 23:56Speaker 1: right now in regards to social media. Now, when you
- 23:59Speaker 1: when you talk about your specific tips that you could
- 24:02Speaker 1: about being successful, because you and some terms I consider
- 24:07Speaker 1: a multi millionaire, how did you get there?
- 24:10Speaker 3: A lot of hard work, focused, being burnt out from
- 24:16Speaker 3: working so hard. And so what I tell people is
- 24:21Speaker 3: number one, figure out what you want to do, whatever
- 24:23Speaker 3: that is, give all your energy to it. So I
- 24:26Speaker 3: knew I wanted to be an attorney. So even though
- 24:29Speaker 3: you know, I had bills to pay, I kept my
- 24:32Speaker 3: job and then went to law school at night. So
- 24:34Speaker 3: I stayed on path to what I wanted to do,
- 24:38Speaker 3: went to law school at night, graduated, opened up my business.
- 24:43Speaker 3: And when I opened up the business, I was willing
- 24:47Speaker 3: to do any and everything legally in order to make
- 24:50Speaker 3: my business successful. So if that meant staying up till
- 24:54Speaker 3: one o'clock at night, That's what I was going to do.
- 24:57Speaker 3: And so when I did open my business, it was
- 25:00Speaker 3: isn't easy. The first year, I think I made ten
- 25:03Speaker 3: thousand dollars. I didn't make a lot of money, and
- 25:06Speaker 3: I had to figure out what was going to be
- 25:08Speaker 3: my best source of getting my clients and your traditional
- 25:12Speaker 3: marketing sources of like going out shaking hands. I was
- 25:15Speaker 3: uncomfortable and I didn't have time. And so when I
- 25:18Speaker 3: finally found my niche, which was social media, then I
- 25:23Speaker 3: focused on that and it became how can I be consistent?
- 25:26Speaker 3: How can I get the attention of people? And of
- 25:29Speaker 3: course this took years. This wasn't like an overnight success story.
- 25:33Speaker 3: It took one client believing in me, and then me
- 25:37Speaker 3: believing that this was actually gonna work, and then finding
- 25:41Speaker 3: more and more and more, and as the years went on,
- 25:45Speaker 3: then of course I was able to build my business.
- 25:48Speaker 3: And in building my business, I became a resource for people.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I became a trusted, knowledgeable attorney that was able to
- 25:55Speaker 3: give good information that would help agents because that's my
- 26:00Speaker 3: business source, increase their business and we grow together in
- 26:04Speaker 3: this industry.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Wow, I have learned a lot today, and I'm a
- 26:09Speaker 1: know it all everybody. I'm a know it all. And
- 26:11Speaker 1: when you get educated because you do know social media,
- 26:14Speaker 1: that's important. And I'm talking to attorney Tiffany Halls, the
