- 2:05Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice, come on digging now. One
- 2:09Speaker 2: and only Steve Harley got a radio show today. It
- 2:14Speaker 2: is real simple for everybody that's trying to become successful
- 2:18Speaker 2: on any level, in any arena, any genre. I don't
- 2:23Speaker 2: care what it is. If you're trying to be successful,
- 2:27Speaker 2: this message is for you. Let me help you understand
- 2:30Speaker 2: something real clear. You ain't gonna make it the way
- 2:33Speaker 2: you want to, and you're not going to make it
- 2:37Speaker 2: to the heights that's fully out there and available for
- 2:40Speaker 2: you without God. And I just keep it real simple
- 2:44Speaker 2: and clean for you today. You're not going to make
- 2:47Speaker 2: it the way you want to, and you're not going
- 2:51Speaker 2: to get to the heights that's available to you without God.
- 2:56Speaker 2: You have to get this through your head. You can
- 3:00Speaker 2: try it if you want to, because I did. I'm
- 3:02Speaker 2: here to tell you I am talking purely from experience.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Here you can try it without God, and you can
- 3:09Speaker 2: see how far you can get. Will you have some
- 3:12Speaker 2: measures of success? Of course you will. Will it feel
- 3:16Speaker 2: like days like you might make it? Of course you will.
- 3:19Speaker 2: But let me ask you a question, though. What you're
- 3:21Speaker 2: gonna do about them days when you feel like you
- 3:23Speaker 2: ain't gonna make it. When you're gonna do about them
- 3:25Speaker 2: days where it feel like there are no answers to
- 3:28Speaker 2: your questions. What you're gonna do about them days? What
- 3:30Speaker 2: you're gonna do about them days when everybody laughing that
- 3:33Speaker 2: you turn it against you. What you're gonna do about them,
- 3:35Speaker 2: days when you just don't see no way through it?
- 3:38Speaker 2: What you're gonna do about them days? I got the sunshine?
- 3:41Speaker 2: You know, sunshine cool? Everybody got friends? When it's sunny outside.
- 3:45Speaker 2: You want some friends, hit the lotto, You wanna get
- 3:48Speaker 2: rid of them friends, Go ask for some help.
- 3:50Speaker 7: Man.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I'm talking about man. They scattered like roaches when lights
- 3:52Speaker 2: come on. I'm trying to tell you, so, now here
- 3:56Speaker 2: we go again. You can do this without God. Now,
- 3:58Speaker 2: because I've done it and you can have yourself some
- 4:01Speaker 2: measure success. Let me even hip you to a little
- 4:04Speaker 2: bit closer, though, let me tell you why you are
- 4:06Speaker 2: doing it without God and having some measure of success.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Can I tell you why? Because of God's grace and
- 4:13Speaker 2: mercy to us, because of his grace and mercy trying
- 4:16Speaker 2: to keep us in spite of ourself for the real
- 4:20Speaker 2: mission that He really got for us. See that's the
- 4:23Speaker 2: truth of the matter now now what we're talking about,
- 4:25Speaker 2: nasty See. So yeah, yeah, you can do it without
- 4:28Speaker 2: God and you can have some measure of success without God.
- 4:31Speaker 2: And yeah, you know, yeah you got your little degree
- 4:33Speaker 2: and everything, or yeah you completed the program God, all that, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 4:38Speaker 2: But don't you know something. It's because of God's grace
- 4:41Speaker 2: and mercy that he helps us anyway, well, even when
- 4:44Speaker 2: we ain't asking for help, when he bails us out anyway,
- 4:47Speaker 2: when we ain't even ask him to be bailed out.
- 4:49Speaker 2: You know why, because He love us that much that
- 4:51Speaker 2: he would allow us to exist until we get our
- 4:54Speaker 2: mind together where he could take us away, really trying
- 4:57Speaker 2: to take us. Let's get this real straight and clue today.
- 5:01Speaker 2: You can do this without God if you want to.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But I am telling you to get to where you
- 5:06Speaker 2: really want to be and to be all that God
- 5:10Speaker 2: has for you. You got to have God. That is,
- 5:13Speaker 2: no ifs ads, but about it. And let me tell
- 5:16Speaker 2: you this here. I don't really care what nobody then
- 5:19Speaker 2: told you. Are you listening to me? I don't care
- 5:23Speaker 2: what they say. Don't get this thing twisted. They got
- 5:26Speaker 2: these people out here talking about they illuminatis and all. Listen, man,
- 5:30Speaker 2: don't listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Don't get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 5:38Speaker 2: God created you and your soul. We were all created
- 5:42Speaker 2: in His image, all of us. Don't get to talking
- 5:46Speaker 2: about you. Finish. Cut a deal with the devil and
- 5:48Speaker 2: all you ain't cutting no deal with nobody.
- 5:49Speaker 8: Man.
- 5:50Speaker 2: The devil don't do deals. He one sided. I'm taking
- 5:54Speaker 2: you to hell. You going to hell. You're burning here,
- 5:56Speaker 2: that's his deal. I want your soul. I want you
- 5:59Speaker 2: to lose whose hope. I want you to take your life.
- 6:02Speaker 2: I want you to take some other people's lives. I
- 6:04Speaker 2: want you to feel hopeless. I want you to realize
- 6:07Speaker 2: that it ain't no God. That's his whole deal. His
- 6:09Speaker 2: whole deal is negative. He can talk you in the
- 6:12Speaker 2: deal in drugs if you want to. But let me
- 6:14Speaker 2: tell you something about this. I watch these shows all
- 6:16Speaker 2: the time, drug inc And all this here cocaine mafia.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Everybody on now go to jail and get killed. Our
- 6:24Speaker 2: prisons is filled today with our young boys because they
- 6:27Speaker 2: thought they can outslick the system. They thought they had away,
- 6:31Speaker 2: they thought they sitting up been here, and they failed.
- 6:33Speaker 2: For the old cliche, man, I gotta do what I
- 6:35Speaker 2: gotta do, I gotta get this money. Well, the only
- 6:38Speaker 2: reason you gotta do what you gotta do is because,
- 6:39Speaker 2: like I say all the time, you didn't do what
- 6:41Speaker 2: you were supposed to do. It is but because of
- 6:44Speaker 2: His grace and mercy that we exist. And God is
- 6:47Speaker 2: just taking care of you, looking out for you. Got
- 6:50Speaker 2: some angels and camped around you until you get your
- 6:53Speaker 2: mind right so he can get you where you're going.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But now I want you to understand something. There's a
- 6:57Speaker 2: cost and a consequence and a penalty for everything we do.
- 7:01Speaker 2: This outside the will of God. That's for all of us.
- 7:04Speaker 2: All of us have consequences, penalties, and everything that we
- 7:08Speaker 2: got to deal with outside of the will of God.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Understand that clearly. Don't get this thing twisted sideways. You
- 7:17Speaker 2: understand me.
- 7:18Speaker 9: You know.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I heard a young man tell me one day. He said, Steve,
- 7:22Speaker 2: you know, man, I just don't see how God looking
- 7:24Speaker 2: out for me, if he would allow all these things
- 7:26Speaker 2: to happen to me. I'm having such a hard time
- 7:28Speaker 2: in my life. I really don't see how there's a
- 7:32Speaker 2: God looking out for me. I lived a young man.
- 7:34Speaker 2: I said, in the man, it's just something. Man, you
- 7:36Speaker 2: still breathing. He said, yeah, I'm standing here talking to you.
- 7:40Speaker 2: I said, you're still free. He said what you mean.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I said, you ain't locked up, are you? He said no,
- 7:44Speaker 2: I'm standing here talking to you. I said, where you
- 7:46Speaker 2: get them clothes from? I bought him. I said, well,
- 7:48Speaker 2: you bought them with what I bought him with money.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I said where you get the money from? Young Joe.
- 7:52Speaker 2: So I got job, mister, I got a job. I said, well,
- 7:56Speaker 2: well where you live though? He said, I got apartment.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I said, well you get the apartment from, mister Harvey.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I'm working. I got an apartment. I got a job.
- 8:04Speaker 2: I said, okay, okay, So now this this God ain't
- 8:08Speaker 2: looking out for you. Think finish, finish telling me what
- 8:10Speaker 2: you're telling me. Well, see, man, I'm having it real
- 8:13Speaker 2: hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man, are are
- 8:15Speaker 2: you hungry? Have you had lunch yet? He's yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 8:19Speaker 2: already had lunch. Yeah. I said, oh, okay, okay, so
- 8:23Speaker 2: gone finish telling me about this how God ain't looking
- 8:25Speaker 2: out for you? He said, oh. And you know, man,
- 8:28Speaker 2: every every time I try to do something, it seemed
- 8:30Speaker 2: like it go wrong for me. I said, but let
- 8:32Speaker 2: them let man something. Man, I say, every time it
- 8:34Speaker 2: go wrong for you, I say, somehow you survive it.
- 8:37Speaker 2: He said, yeah, yeah, I survive in some kind of way.
- 8:40Speaker 2: But it's still be all messed up with me. I said,
- 8:42Speaker 2: but but you still got through it though, he said yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I said, okay, man, gone finish telling me how God
- 8:47Speaker 2: ain't looking out for you? And he stopped. He said, hey,
- 8:49Speaker 2: miss Harvey. He said, how come every time I tell
- 8:52Speaker 2: you something that's going wrong, you keep telling me God
- 8:54Speaker 2: looking out for me? I said, because you're still here, man,
- 8:57Speaker 2: I said, See, you don't understand it. I said, you've
- 8:59Speaker 2: seen the think that you're supposed to just you're supposed
- 9:02Speaker 2: to skate through life. That is all supposed to go
- 9:04Speaker 2: how you want it, any kind of way, I said, Man,
- 9:06Speaker 2: thisesus the test to your faith, I said, God looking
- 9:09Speaker 2: out for you the whole time. I said, every time
- 9:11Speaker 2: you tell me something going wrong, you seem to turn
- 9:14Speaker 2: around and tell me how you survived that. You keep
- 9:16Speaker 2: telling me what ain't going right, but you keep telling
- 9:18Speaker 2: me all these things you have. I said, man, so
- 9:20Speaker 2: what you gotta do is you got to stop looking
- 9:22Speaker 2: at the what you ain't got column and start focusing
- 9:25Speaker 2: on what you do have column. But if you ain't
- 9:27Speaker 2: happy with nothing heating done for you, you wanted to
- 9:29Speaker 2: keep piling stuff on. I said, you fail in the test,
- 9:32Speaker 2: young man. The test is are you grateful for where
- 9:35Speaker 2: you are right now? So I could give you more
- 9:38Speaker 2: so we can move forward. He said, oh, Man, never
- 9:40Speaker 2: even looked at like that. I said, well, why don't
- 9:42Speaker 2: you take your blessed self on somewhere and sit down?
- 9:44Speaker 2: He said, I think I'm going over here and let
- 9:46Speaker 2: you finish talking. I said, thank you, son. Sometimes you
- 9:49Speaker 2: just got to look at what you do God, folks,
- 9:50Speaker 2: that's all it is. Okay, you can't make it without God, y'all.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You got me today. All right, let's be clear, let's go.

- 10:16Speaker 2: stacked packed, doing the most. But guess what, Still grateful, though,
- 10:22Speaker 2: still grateful man, that I got something to be tired from.

- 17:16Speaker 7: you know, the way we've been chit chatting and going
- 17:18Speaker 7: back and forth on the site, things have been really
- 17:19Speaker 7: really well. You know, you know, I would like to

- 36:25Speaker 12: Well, congratulations to everyone who went to the med uh
- 36:28Speaker 12: galla last night and the other day.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Wait wait, wait, did.
- 36:32Speaker 9: I miss a?

- 37:10Speaker 12: Coming up at twenty minutes after the Supreme Court's recent
- 37:13Speaker 12: ruling on the Voting Rights Act is devastating to our democracy,
- 37:17Speaker 12: and we will talk about that right after this. You're
- 37:21Speaker 12: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Think about the people who
- 37:29Speaker 12: mean the most to you. Giving them valuable protection is
- 37:33Speaker 12: a great gift you can offer, and Globe Life Insurance
- 37:36Speaker 12: can make it easy. With Globe Life coverage, there's no
- 37:39Speaker 12: medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step for
- 37:43Speaker 12: the people you love. Call Globe Life at one eight
- 37:46Speaker 12: hundred two five one fifty four hundred or visit globelifradio
- 37:49Speaker 12: dot com. That's one eight hundred two five one fifty
- 37:52Speaker 12: four hundred or globelifradio dot com. According to US News,
- 37:57Speaker 12: the Voting Rights Act was passed to protect the fifteenth Amendment,
- 38:01Speaker 12: which prohibits denying the rights to vote based on race
- 38:04Speaker 12: or color. However, Section two of the Voting Rights Act
- 38:09Speaker 12: has enabled groups to force states to draw additional minority
- 38:13Speaker 12: majority districts for decades.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Well. Last week, the Supreme Court basically.
- 38:19Speaker 12: Gout it the Voting Rights Act in the case of
- 38:21Speaker 12: Louisiana versus Calais and their six to three decision to
- 38:25Speaker 12: throw out Louisiana's congressional maps. Louisiana, along with other states,
- 38:32Speaker 12: may now try to redraw their districts right before right
- 38:37Speaker 12: before the midterms, which will impact polling places, and of
- 38:41Speaker 12: course that's what they want. According to ABC News, the
- 38:45Speaker 12: White House celebrated the Supreme Court decision as a quote
- 38:48Speaker 12: complete and total victory for American voters.
- 38:51Speaker 1: How this craziness right, yes, crail.
- 39:01Speaker 2: The man in Louisiana that was denied his position, he
- 39:05Speaker 2: won in November, and he's supposed to take office. They
- 39:09Speaker 2: went to court about it and they ruled that it
- 39:12Speaker 2: was unconstitutional and he will take office today. Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:19Speaker 11: And this guy in the Supreme Court case, he is
- 39:21Speaker 11: obviously one of the plaintiffs Calai. He's representing a group
- 39:26Speaker 11: of non African American voters who challenge this is, according
- 39:30Speaker 11: to the Internet, who challenged the state's congressional map.
- 39:34Speaker 1: So now they're just gonna just redraw redistrict.
- 39:40Speaker 2: It is to take away This is all to make
- 39:43Speaker 2: America great again.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Yeah, this is all this is.
- 39:47Speaker 2: And this is what this means. And they're doing all
- 39:50Speaker 2: this redistricting and all of this here to take away
- 39:54Speaker 2: black and brown people's right to vote and have proper representation.
- 40:01Speaker 2: And they're getting away with it, man, And they're getting
- 40:04Speaker 2: away with it. And that's crazy, man.
- 40:07Speaker 1: And the Supreme Court this time opened it up for
- 40:10Speaker 1: him to do that. So it's a slam to democracy.
- 40:14Speaker 1: This really is. This is ongoing every day.
- 40:18Speaker 2: It's something America didn't have this before. No, we didn't
- 40:22Speaker 2: have such thing for they didn't have voting right. Blacks
- 40:26Speaker 2: just got this in sixty four.
- 40:29Speaker 1: I was seven, and now you're sixty nine, and then
- 40:32Speaker 1: we're still.
- 40:33Speaker 2: Talking about the voting right, and they then took it back.
- 40:36Speaker 1: But this this statement.
- 40:38Speaker 12: The White House celebrated this decision as a quote complete
- 40:42Speaker 12: and total victory for American voters.
- 40:45Speaker 2: So why are people in power?
- 40:48Speaker 9: Is what this is for.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, and so they can maintain their power. And this
- 40:53Speaker 2: dude been real quiet about running for a third time.
- 40:55Speaker 2: He gonna try to find a way to do that.
- 40:57Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, right right ahead of votes. I gotta
- 41:03Speaker 4: find a new planet, all right.
- 41:11Speaker 12: Coming up at thirty four minutes after Mother's Day, guys,

- 42:15Speaker 1: What was shocking about it?
- 42:16Speaker 2: I was just sitting there, going, what is going on?
- 42:21Speaker 2: What is this?
- 42:22Speaker 7: What is this?
- 42:24Speaker 2: Oh?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Got the head?
- 42:27Speaker 2: The shoulders just kipt When the head come out of
- 42:29Speaker 2: when the shoulders come What are we doing here?
- 42:34Speaker 1: What the miracle of birth?
- 42:36Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 42:36Speaker 3: That back.
- 42:42Speaker 2: I was sitting You're thinking to myself, this playground is done. Yeah,
- 42:48Speaker 2: he said it, He said it.
- 42:52Speaker 1: That's that's what you were thinking at the time. Yeah,
- 42:55Speaker 1: you know you got over it.
- 42:56Speaker 2: I didn't know. Let it recovered as quick as it did, Okay,
- 42:59Speaker 2: I didn't know what had recoupit TOI powers.
- 43:04Speaker 1: What about when your boys were born? Your sons too?
- 43:07Speaker 8: Uh?
- 43:09Speaker 3: Steve?
- 43:09Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I was there when Winnen was born too.
- 43:13Speaker 2: H knew that when Steve was born. I knew when
- 43:17Speaker 2: Whennen was born. That was traumatized again that it's not
- 43:21Speaker 2: been a great experience.
- 43:24Speaker 8: Oh, poor baby, Tommy. I know you have something going on.
- 43:31Speaker 8: I remember because I fainted for when they first started
- 43:37Speaker 8: working on and she went in the label. I fainted
- 43:39Speaker 8: and when I woke up, they were working on me.
- 43:44Speaker 8: But then I had a baby, that was it.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I was next to her. Pass me the baby. Let
- 43:53Speaker 2: me look at I'll tell you one thing, because you know,
- 43:56Speaker 2: Lamar's was big back then. It was my first kids
- 43:59Speaker 2: was born. So you know, we went to the little
- 44:01Speaker 2: Mars class. And none of that worked in the delivery room,
- 44:04Speaker 2: none of it. The breathing that put the ice chips
- 44:08Speaker 2: in her mouth, she spent them on me.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I said, this is not Yeah, I can relate to that.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I don't want no ice, the ice.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Talking to me crazy. I just said, what is it?
- 44:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I did that.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And she wanted natural childbirth, and so I was standing there,
- 44:24Speaker 2: so she did. She refused to api duel and everything.
- 44:27Speaker 2: So I took that long needle that tapped me in
- 44:33Speaker 2: the back. Baby, just give one of us some release.
- 44:38Speaker 2: So you go way back. I mean, when they used
- 44:41Speaker 2: to have babies in the house, what was the hot
- 44:44Speaker 2: water for?
- 44:44Speaker 7: What was that?
- 44:45Speaker 2: I never understood that. I don't know. You know, I
- 44:47Speaker 2: was in the country when I was a little boy.
- 44:50Speaker 2: A lady crossed the street had the baby at the house.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I wasn't allowed to go in there. I know they
- 44:55Speaker 2: took some hot water in there. I was a little boy,
- 44:57Speaker 2: that I wasn't allowed to go in there.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you want everything to stare roll and but I
- 45:01Speaker 1: thought I was.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Going to be able to play with the baby. Like now,

- 45:09Speaker 2: I went, what is what is the baby here for?
- 45:15Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 45:15Speaker 12: But if you've gone through the miracle of childbirth and

- 56:52Speaker 12: Thank you nephew. Subject. Why does it have to end
- 56:56Speaker 12: like this? Dear Stephen Shirley, Shirley. Even my boy boy
- 57:00Speaker 12: friend ghosted me because he's a cheater, or he's mad
- 57:03Speaker 12: because I called his ex. We met a year ago
- 57:06Speaker 12: and we hit it off instantly. We met at a
- 57:09Speaker 12: gas station and he was meeting his baby mama to
- 57:12Speaker 12: drop his son off. They got into a huge argument
- 57:15Speaker 12: in front of me and everyone else at the gas station.
- 57:18Speaker 12: I felt bad for him, so I asked if he
- 57:20Speaker 12: was all right. We ended up going to the restaurant
- 57:23Speaker 12: next door and we had dinner and drinks. Two months later,
- 57:26Speaker 12: we slept together and I was in love after that.
- 57:30Speaker 12: He is the best I've ever had, and he said
- 57:32Speaker 12: the same thing about me. But there was always the
- 57:35Speaker 12: issue of his baby mama and the fact that they
- 57:37Speaker 12: started being friendly and talking more. I started secretly reading
- 57:42Speaker 12: her text to him and found out that he had
- 57:45Speaker 12: been dropping the sun off at her house and not
- 57:48Speaker 12: the gas station anymore. And she texted him stuff like
- 57:51Speaker 12: he was smelling good when she saw him, and he
- 57:54Speaker 12: still makes her smile. He always responded with laughing emojis,
- 57:58Speaker 12: kissy face emojis.
- 57:59Speaker 2: And heart eyes.
- 58:01Speaker 12: A week ago, I asked if he was having sex
- 58:03Speaker 12: with her. He said, I'm having sex with you. To me,
- 58:08Speaker 12: that was not a good answer. The next night, his
- 58:11Speaker 12: baby mama sent him a picture of her private area
- 58:14Speaker 12: and asked him to send a picture back. He was
- 58:17Speaker 12: in my bed a sleep, so I called her from
- 58:19Speaker 12: his phone. She laughed in my face and hung up.
- 58:25Speaker 12: She called his phone back and it woke him up.
- 58:28Speaker 12: He grabbed the phone from me and hung it up.
- 58:31Speaker 12: He told me I was wrong for calling his ex
- 58:33Speaker 12: and he wants nothing else to do with me. I
- 58:36Speaker 12: apologized a million times, but he will not talk to me.
- 58:40Speaker 12: Maybe I was wrong, but why can't he have a
- 58:43Speaker 12: conversation with me about this? Because it's over? That's why. Okay,
- 58:50Speaker 12: he's been trying to get out for a while. You
- 58:53Speaker 12: went looking for something and you found it.
- 58:55Speaker 1: You said.
- 58:56Speaker 12: He's been going over her house and responding to her
- 58:58Speaker 12: text messages with hard emojis and all that. It's clear
- 59:04Speaker 12: that they are still at the very least very very
- 59:07Speaker 12: friendly with each other. And you're right, he didn't really
- 59:11Speaker 12: answer your question when you asked him if he was
- 59:13Speaker 12: sleeping with his ex. You didn't like his answer when
- 59:16Speaker 12: he said, I'm sleeping with you. You did not like
- 59:19Speaker 12: his answer. So it has now become a trust issue
- 59:22Speaker 12: with you. So you started snooping and then you called her.
- 59:28Speaker 12: That played right into his hands. It gave him an out,
- 59:31Speaker 12: and because you called her, he can make it, you know,
- 59:35Speaker 12: look like it's all your fault and blame everything on
- 59:37Speaker 12: you the breakup.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I say, let him go because if you have to.
- 59:40Speaker 12: Snoop on his phone and do all that you're doing anyway,
- 59:44Speaker 12: he's probably not worth it. The relationship is not worth it.
- 59:47Speaker 12: He's not completely done with her, and he never will
- 59:50Speaker 12: be because she's the mother of his child.
- 59:52Speaker 2: Anyway, Steve, you know, when I look at these letters,
- 59:56Speaker 2: I kind of look at I kind of read everything.
- 59:59Speaker 2: You know, it is all something that lets you know
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: this is gonna be something to be concerned about. It
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: don't matter what she says in the beginning, you know,
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: talking about either my boyfriend ghosted me because he's a cheater,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: or he's mad because I called his ex, or either way,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: it's mad either way if you busted me, if you
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: saw me, if you're calling my ex, all this cannot
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: happen again. Now, this is how, This is how you
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: know the relationship. And to be crazy. She said, we
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: met a year ago and we hit it off instantly. Okay, cool,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: you're thinking cool, right, But let me tell you how
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: they met. We met at a gas station. He was
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: meeting his baby mama to drop the son off. They
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: got into a huge argument in front of me and
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: everybody else at the gas station. Oh yeah, that's how
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: I want to meet somebody. Evan a major blow up
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: over a baby in a gas station parking lot in
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: front of everybody. Ooh that's my kind of girl, right damn?
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I want that in my life.
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: See.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: So you didn't have no problem with it with the
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: man being in the drama situation, so you wanted it
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: in your life. So now you got the drama in
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: your life. So you felt sorry for him, And I
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: asked him, was he all right?
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: This?
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: See the women, y'all always trying to help somebody, always
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: trying to be there for somebody. Rescue somebody, y'all such
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: good nurtured shed have left his phone in that parking,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: just crazy. We went to a restaurant next door. We
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: had dinner in joints. Two months later we slept together.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: I was in love after that, he said. I was
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: the best out of head after he the best I
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: ever had. Who we in love? Now, See, you didn't
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: know everything you needed to know about the drama at
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: the gas station. Y'all just went to dinner and started
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: sleeping together two months later and that was it. So
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: now then, you say, but that has always been the
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: issue of his baby mama and the fact that they
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: started being friendly and talking more. Girl they've been. That's
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: how they communicate. They argue, then they have breakup.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Set.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Spinder wrote a song about it, break up the makeup.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: That's all we do. First you love me, then you
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: hate me. It's a game for food. Stylistics. Yeah, who
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: I said, is Spinder? Same thing?
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Thing?
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: Like my Mamy said, spinner stylistic. Give young people didn't
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: know what I was talking about. It was styl Listen,
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: all right, we come back. I'll tell you that.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: All right, all right, we'll have part two.
- 1:03:01Speaker 12: Steve of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:03:05Speaker 12: after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject is why does
- 1:03:10Speaker 12: it have to end like this?
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: All right, we'll get back into it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I'll tell you why.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:25Speaker 11: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:28Speaker 11: after you mop? Power Mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:31Speaker 11: you can see and feel. Unlike stream mops, Swift for
- 1:03:35Speaker 11: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:38Speaker 11: and hard to reach places like behind the toilet. The
- 1:03:41Speaker 11: new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning actions
- 1:03:46Speaker 11: for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No more
- 1:03:49Speaker 11: dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love it
- 1:03:53Speaker 11: or your money back?
- 1:03:54Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:57Speaker 12: The subject is why does it have to and like this?
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: Well?
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Why do it have to end like this? Because it
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: started kind of crazy. You met this man. First of all,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: they not speaking right now because either she thinks he
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: cheated on him or because she called his head. This
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: is how they met. They met at a gas station.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: They was out there pumping gas. He was meeting his
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: baby mama. In the parking lot to drop the sun off.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: They got in the big argument in front of everybody
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: at the gas station. Everybody you sitting there watching the
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: whole thing like everybody else, but you the only one.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: Ain't nobody else say nothing to him but oh no,
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: you and the rescue a man being since always trying
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: to be that with your little lonely self. You gonna
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: go up to him and ask him and is he
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: all right? Hell no, he wasn't all right, woman talking
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: crazy you in front of gas station. No he ain't
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: all right. Y'all went next to the door to the
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: restaurant and hit it off. Two months later, y'all sleeping together.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: He was the best you ever had, And he told
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: you you it was the best he ever had. That's
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: just how you return the compliment.
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: It.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: I can't tell you how many times I've told that line,
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: But if that's what it gets me, you know, another
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: round and lieding it. Who were you the best I
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: ever had? Knowing it wasn't anyway, y'all end up seeing
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: each other and everything. And but she said, but that
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: was always this issue about the baby, mama. Well, how
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: it wasn't It was an issue at the gas station.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: So where you think that went? You think that because
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: he still got the baby, and he still got the baby, mama,
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: So where did you think it went to? So then
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: you started recently reading her text to him, found out
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: that he been dropping the sun off at her house
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: and not at the gas station anymore. You thought that
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: was permanent, that we do all the exchanges at the
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: gas station. Lady wow. Anyway, then she started texting and
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: stuff like he's smelling good, he still make us smile.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Then he responded with laughing emoji's chesty faces. And then
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: you asked him, You said, are you having sex with her?
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: His response was, I'm having sex with you. He didn't
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: say he wasn't having sex with her. I'm having sex
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: with you, like as to imply that having sex with
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: two people that are out up the question, how dare
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: you think that I would sit up in here and
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: ruin my reputation as a man and be sleeping with
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: two women at one time? Why would I do anything
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: like that. I'm sleeping with you. Then you said that
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: was not a good answer, Well, it sounds good to me.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: It worked because he's still in your bed the next night.
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: Next night, he in your so it was a good
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: enough answer. It worked. The baby mama sent him a
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: picture of her private area and asked him to send
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: a picture back. But he was laying in the bed
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: next to you sleep. So you called her from his phone.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: She laughed in my face and hung up. Then she
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: called his phone back, and it woke him up. He
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: grabbed the phone from me and hung it up. Now,
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: see God, I want you all to see what happened.
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: Now she called his phone back. It woke him up.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: He grabbed the phone from me. So you already had
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: the phone. See you still had the phone. Now how
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: the man sposed to feel? And then he told me
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I was wrong for calling his ax and he wants
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: nothing else to do with me. I apologize a million times,
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: but he still won't talk to me. Maybe I was,
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: But why can't we have a conversation about with me
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: about this? Well, because now he has the tool, he
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: needs to have the upper hand to see him. If
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: he made you calling her more wrong than her calling him,
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: then he wins. See you could have easily turned this
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: around and said why is she calling you and you
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: in my bed, But you wasn't quick enough for that.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: You let him spend it on you. What you call
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: her folk, you don't call my ex. We got your son,
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: and we co parented and were trying to do the
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: right thing. And here you are stopping me from being
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: the father and always trying to beat to my son.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: You knew what I was out in that parking lot
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: of that gas said what I was going through. Then
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: you gonna call yourself trying to help me, And now
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: all you do is brain more drama is my life.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Now I'm sitting up here, I'm unhappy that I missed
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: my son. What do they have to do to try
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: to beat the father that you need to be? All
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: I want is my son. I wish both of y'all
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: would just go away and leave me and my son
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: to be me and by myself. Yeah, one of my
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: goals is to have a TV show with my boy
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: call It's finally just me and my daddy. But y'all
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: just anyway, won't let us have them.
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: There is a song called gas Station Love. By the way,
- 1:09:53Speaker 12: there is a song I got to hear it. Yeah,
- 1:09:58Speaker 12: it's by a young guy.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: Ag all right.

- 1:11:30Speaker 2: And all he gonna get is the bucket oas.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: He did all the work.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: You're speaking up a golden temper.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm fiking off all horses.
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: And some apples.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: That's about it. I'm gonna get these horses union, getting
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: the many union. We're gonna get some more money right here.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: The good part of it was that the first female
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: trainer in the history this won the Kentucky Derby. And
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: I mean that that horse, Tommy ain't Lyne from the
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: back to the front man.
- 1:12:08Speaker 10: That temple, Golden Tempo and uh, you know Renegade was
- 1:12:13Speaker 10: the favorite. And when you going to horse racing, and
- 1:12:15Speaker 10: help me understand this time, and when you you don't
- 1:12:18Speaker 10: want the first lane, you don't ever want the first lane?
- 1:12:21Speaker 10: Is that what they're saying? The first post? Okay, the
- 1:12:24Speaker 10: post is the laying closest to the rail. That's a
- 1:12:28Speaker 10: bad lane to pool.
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: Well, let's say it's it's hard to win from there
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: for closed in a little bit. It's tight. It didn't matter.
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: Golden Temple got all the way out around the other side.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: The favorite, which was I forgot the name of that horse, renegade, Renegade,
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: what's the favorite? Yeah, he took second. Now I thought
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: that the two jockeys that took first and second were
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: they brothers?
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Really pop team right now?
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Really from sure Wow came out.
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: She just thought you might know him, came out outstanding.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Ship all ain't got a union or nothing. You got
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: y'all got a little black book with everybody name it.
- 1:13:25Speaker 7: Did we know?
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Well, it just came out.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: That was That was the perfect time. Some peoples come
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: by to buy a house a long time ago, and
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: so to impress the buyers, my daddy had Thomas standing
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: out there and holding landing in front of the house, like.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: You will have money.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: It's just a lot of jobs, just little people can have.
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: All right, Junior, thanks, thank you. Coming up at the
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: top of the hour.
- 1:14:02Speaker 12: Woman on social media needs some advice, she said, He lied,
- 1:14:06Speaker 12: And now I'm stuck. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:16Speaker 12: this is from Tina on Steve Harvey FM. Tina says,
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: my coworker, who is like twenty years older than me,
- 1:14:22Speaker 12: offered to rent me a spare room in his house.
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: Before I agreed, I asked him directly if he had
- 1:14:29Speaker 12: any romantic interest in me, or if there were any
- 1:14:32Speaker 12: ulterior motives, and he assured me it was strictly friendly
- 1:14:37Speaker 12: and he just thought we'd be good roommates. I took
- 1:14:40Speaker 12: him at his word, moved out of my old place
- 1:14:43Speaker 12: and moved and moved in with him.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: A few weeks later, he admitted he actually does have
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: feelings for me.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: Well, you must have heard no I on to do
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: a night, She says.
- 1:14:57Speaker 12: Now I feel completely misled and uncomfort to be living there.
- 1:15:01Speaker 12: Moving again would be expensive and a huge hassle, especially
- 1:15:05Speaker 12: since I just paid to relocate. I told him I
- 1:15:08Speaker 12: think he should help cover my costs since he wasn't
- 1:15:10Speaker 12: honest up front, But he says nothing has changed and
- 1:15:14Speaker 12: I'm free to stay or go. Am I wrong to
- 1:15:17Speaker 12: expect him to take some responsibility here?
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: No, ladies, I done told y'all, I don't know how
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: you think we are, but you know you find to him,
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: that's why you asked him was there any attraction to
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: me at all?
- 1:15:35Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: No, we're friends as soon as you got in there.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: Now you hear scratching at the door, hearing at you
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: in the bottom of the dough so he can slide
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: a mirror under that. This dude, he's just now you
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: are comfortable and you want to move. How could you
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: think that this man wasn't interested in you when you
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: knew he was. And that's why you asked, stop being gullible,
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Stop being Stop putting yourself in these gullible positions when
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: you know your intuition told you he had something in mind.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: And no, he does not owe you any money to
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: help you move and cover your expenses for what What
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: he's hoping is that you get tired of being uncomfortable,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: tired of trying to round up the extra money, and
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: just come on open that.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: Door, all those scratch marks on it.
- 1:16:37Speaker 12: He's twenty years older than her, and he assured her
- 1:16:41Speaker 12: that it was strictly friendly.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: So that's what she went on. Yes, and he said
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: he thought that.
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: He had changed his mind once she got that you
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: in there cooking. He's standing there looking huh, drinking a
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: cup of coffee, looking over the top of the cover.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: What's he saying. What's he saying, Lord Jesus.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Guard him balling the thing over there?
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but she feels uncomfortable, now, yeah, that's not gonna want.
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: You knew something was going on. You was in there
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: frying him eggs, and he rubbed up against you on
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: his way to the refrigerator. You know, well you and
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: then you and that bending overlooking and refrigerator. He bending
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: over on top of you. Yeah, let me see what's
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: in there too.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: Old old people do different stuff.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: You come in the house and work. Won't play them.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Domino about though, right, he.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: And that just shaking the bone won't play Domino majors.
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Some car, he up early major, some coffee.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: But she needs to move out, right if she's uncomfortable.
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, but he ain't. He don't owe you no money.
- 1:17:57Speaker 12: Okay, all right, we have time for another one. This
- 1:18:00Speaker 12: is Reggie and Steve Harvey FM. Reggie says, So there

- 1:18:07Speaker 12: to cut costs. It seems, however, that to help decide
- 1:18:10Speaker 12: which employees might be on the chopping block, my boss
- 1:18:13Speaker 12: has opted to put up with what he calls a snitchbox. Yes,
- 1:18:17Speaker 12: it's exactly what it sounds like. He's encouraging workers to
- 1:18:21Speaker 12: snitch on other workers for behavior that could be construed
- 1:18:25Speaker 12: as unethical, illegal, and or wasteful. It doesn't seem to matter.
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: Let's stop.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: This is his name, Reggie, Yes, his name is Reggie.

- 1:19:29Speaker 12: stressful is the word so far for this year's That's
- 1:19:33Speaker 12: the word. What word would you use to describe twenty

- 1:24:03Speaker 2: I was twenty nine years old. I was on tour
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: and I ordered the Tomali's and when they came, I
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: was cutting them and I was just chewing. Now he
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: was chewing. Yeah, I was feeding the corn huk. I
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: didn't know, and white guy next to him, he said, hey,
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: what are you doing? I'm steady trying to talk to
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: him over I'm doing good. He said, you don't eat?

- 1:25:10Speaker 11: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:25:14Speaker 11: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:25:18Speaker 11: more dirty floors. Try the Swift for power Mop. Love
- 1:25:21Speaker 11: it or your money back?
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: Here.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: We are guys, last break of the day, and we
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: want to say thank you and Steve we want you
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: to take us out.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: I know you hey, you know what, man, I was
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: thinking recently a lot about this lately. You know, the
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: best decision I ever made was to really really tighten
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: up my relationship with God. That has been the most
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: beneficial thing to me over the past few years, and
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: especially this year twenty twenty six, Man took a turn
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: for me. I don't know what it was, but he
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: separated me and he put me in some solitude. And
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: I guess some people look at solitude differently. Some people
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: look at it as loneliness. I guess you know if
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: you I guess solitude becomes a loneliness when you become
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: aware of it. But some people call being by yourself loneliness.
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: I don't know what you call it. But he separated
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: me this year because he wanted my undivided attention. And
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: the lesson that he's been teaching me is to trust
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: in his timing. And I got to tell y'all something
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: and be honest with you, man, that's difficult sometime to
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: trust in God's timing. I mean fully trust in his timing,
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: which means Steve Harvey, don't meddle in it. You know,
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: I was reading somewhere and it had a really interesting cause.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: He said, when you feel overwhelmed and you get the
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: feeling that life is too much, he said, ah, all
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: you have to do is stop doing God's job. Just
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: stop stop doing his job and you won't feel overwhelmed.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: Stop worrying about tomorrow because you don't know what tomorrow brings.
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: So why are you over there trying to control something
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: you have no control over? Why you sit up there
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: going through anxiety over something you can't control? And because
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: that's what anxiety is. Anxiety is concerning yourself over one
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: of two things. You're either concerned about yesterday or you're
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: concerned about tomorrow, and that brings on anxiety. So in
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: this solitude, this moment of separating me, he's really been
- 1:27:44Speaker 2: teaching me what it means to trust in his timing,
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: to lean not to your own understanding, to ask God
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: to order my steps. And I've been doing that, man,
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: and it's been such a relief. It takes the worry away.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: Do you understand what could happen? And I know it's tough, y'all,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: So talking to you real about this, if you could
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: really find it within yourself to just really give it
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: to God. I mean really hand it over to him
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: and just say, Lord, I give my life to you,
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: I give my direction to you. I'm asking you to
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: order my steps, to guide me, and to trust in
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: your time. If you can do that, it takes away stress.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: It takes away worry, anxiety, it removes fear because now
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: you don't have to worry about and it eliminates confusion. See.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I know what it feels like, y'all to not know
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: what my next move is gonna be. I know what
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: that feeling is. I've had it so many times in
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: my life. I know what it's like to try to
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: figure out to next move and you don't have it. Man.
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: If I had known now, if I have known then
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: what I know now, Man, I could have saved myself
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: so much wearying concern. Because when you give it to God,
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: and truly give it to God, you can live in
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: a a a a in a kind of peace that's
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: just uncommon.
- 1:29:22Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: It says that God can give you an uncommon peace.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: I was at work yesterday and something happened on the
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: job and somebody asked me and said, mister Harvey, did
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: you hear this? I said, yeah, did you hear what
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: they're trying to do. I said, yeah, mister Harved, that
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: doesn't concern you. I said no. They said, well, mister Harvey,
- 1:29:43Speaker 2: it will affect you too. I said, well, it will
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: affect me too. But ain't nothing gonna happen to me
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: that God that ain't gonna prepare me for. There's nothing
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: that's going to happen to me that God won't get
- 1:29:59Speaker 2: me through. There's nothing that's going to happen to me
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: that God won't give me the wherewithal and the will
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: and the understanding on how to conquer and deal with it.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: They said, well, how can you feel that way? I say,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: because I have evidence, because He's done it for me
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: over and over and over again. And if you stay
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: out of the way, God got it. See. God knows
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: when you're trusting him. God knows when you really are
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: leaning on him because you because you get out the
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: way and you stop doing his job. Do you know
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: how much easier it would be to live your life
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: like that?
- 1:30:35Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: I'm not saying life is going to be easy, but
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: it it will become easier for you. It really will.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: But you have to try it. And I guess you
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: got to try it in steps, just like I did.
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: I didn't wake up and come to it all at
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: once one morning. Faith Faith is built something that's stacked.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: You know. Faith is belief in things that you care
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: that that that you can can't see. Faith is the
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: substance of things hope for Do you know faith really
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: starts with hope. You remember when you was a little
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: boy and you hoped you gotta buicycle for Christmas, and
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: then one year showed up under the tree. Well, if
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: you have enough hopeful things that occur in your life,
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: don't you understand that as you get older, you can
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: turn that into faith. I believe this is gonna happen.
- 1:31:26Speaker 2: I know this will happen, and that's how it works.
- 1:31:29Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: But you gotta start in steps. So take some steps
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: today to let God give you direction. To let God
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: give you peace of mind, to let God order your steps.
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: To let God take care of tomorrow. You quit worrying
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: about that. Let God do that. You'll feel a lot better.
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: Take it in steps, y'all, but start moving in that
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: direction if you can't. All right, those are my closing
- 1:31:53Speaker 2: remarks today. Talk to God today. He would absolutely love
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: to hear from you in the meantime in peace. See
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: you next year well.
