- 0:01Speaker 1: Well, come in is the Ben Ferguson Show. It is
- 0:03Speaker 1: nice to have you with us.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I was planning on being on family vacation and just
- 0:08Speaker 2: taking some time off for the next week, but with
- 0:11Speaker 2: so many things happening in the world, we're deciding we're
- 0:14Speaker 2: not going to be doing that. So what we're going
- 0:15Speaker 2: to be doing instead is I'm going to be doing
- 0:18Speaker 2: a hybrid with this show and the forty seven Morning Update.
- 0:21Speaker 2: It's that show that I do every morning that's about
- 0:23Speaker 2: ten to twelve minutes long, three biggest stories of the
- 0:26Speaker 2: day coming out of the White House or that affect
- 0:28Speaker 2: the White House. So for the next few days, that
- 0:31Speaker 2: is what you're going to be hearing here, and I
- 0:33Speaker 2: just want to make sure that you knew that on
- 0:35Speaker 2: the front end. But first I got to ask you
- 0:37Speaker 2: a question. Are you one of those that is just
- 0:40Speaker 2: so tired of giving your money to radical, left woke
- 0:43Speaker 2: companies that actually are fighting against your values every day?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Well, there are certain bills that you pay.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Every month that if you can go with a conservative company,
- 0:53Speaker 2: why not do it? In fact, why not go with
- 0:56Speaker 2: a conservative company actually takes part of your bill every
- 0:58Speaker 2: month that you're going to pay to some and they
- 1:01Speaker 2: give it back to organizations that support your First and
- 1:04Speaker 2: your Second Amendment rights, that support the rights of unborn children,
- 1:08Speaker 2: that stand with our military, are first responders and so
- 1:13Speaker 2: many wounded warriors that need help. Well, that bill I'm
- 1:17Speaker 2: talking about is your cell phone bill. And I've been
- 1:21Speaker 2: telling you for a long time about Patriot Mobile, but
- 1:23Speaker 2: there's no better time to switch.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Than right now.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Not only does Patriot Mobile operate on all three major
- 1:30Speaker 2: networks in this country, yeah, all three. That means you
- 1:32Speaker 2: get the same great coverage you're used to right now,
- 1:35Speaker 2: but you also make a difference with every call you
- 1:37Speaker 2: make and every text you make. And why would you
- 1:40Speaker 2: want to give your money to Big Mobile? Big Mobile
- 1:42Speaker 2: has been giving big donations to democratic causes, democratic candidates,
- 1:47Speaker 2: and radical left organizations. I'm talking about organizations that actually
- 1:52Speaker 2: support abortion. That is why I want you to switch
- 1:56Speaker 2: right now to Patriot Mobile. Go ahead and make the switch,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and it's so easy. All you have to do is
- 2:03Speaker 2: simply call Patriot Mobiles one hundred percent US based team
- 2:07Speaker 2: from the comfort of your home or your office, and
- 2:09Speaker 2: they'll have you activated in minutes. And if you're still
- 2:12Speaker 2: locked in a contract, not a problem. Patriots Mobile contract
- 2:16Speaker 2: buyout program covers up to five hundred dollars per device.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Keep your same number, keep your phone, or upgrade do
- 2:22Speaker 2: a new one. So back to my point, what are
- 2:24Speaker 2: you waiting for? Call Patriot Mobile today and make a
- 2:28Speaker 2: difference every single day with every call you make. Patriot
- 2:31Speaker 2: Mobile dot com slash Ferguson. That's Patriot Mobile dot com
- 2:37Speaker 2: slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot. And if
- 2:41Speaker 2: you use the promo code Ferguson, you're gonna get a
- 2:43Speaker 2: free month of service on top of that. Patriot Mobile
- 2:46Speaker 2: dot com slash ferguson or nine seven two Patriot. That's
- 2:51Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven.
- 2:53Speaker 1: To two Patriot. This is the forty seven Morning Update,
- 2:57Speaker 1: the new show.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I do hit subscribe auto download to it as well,
- 3:00Speaker 2: and yeah, take a listen to the big stories of
- 3:02Speaker 2: the day.
- 3:04Speaker 3: But I never want to hurt our farmers. Our farmers
- 3:06Speaker 3: are great people. They keep us happy and healthy in fat.
- 3:10Speaker 4: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Good Saturday morning to you.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson, with you, and these are some of the
- 3:18Speaker 2: stories that you may have missed that we talked about
- 3:20Speaker 2: this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
- 3:23Speaker 2: in a shocking move, a major TV network is now
- 3:27Speaker 2: helping warn individuals where ice agents are so that they
- 3:33Speaker 2: can get away from being held accountable for breaking our laws.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Who's doing it? We'll expose that coming up as well. Also,
- 3:41Speaker 2: what made it into the bill that is now headed
- 3:44Speaker 2: back to the House from the Senate. I break it
- 3:47Speaker 2: all down for you, and I'll have all those details
- 3:50Speaker 2: for you about exactly what made it in this bill
- 3:53Speaker 2: in just a moment. And finally, we also now know
- 3:56Speaker 2: that the present saying it's time for the FED chair
- 3:58Speaker 2: Jerome Powell to be gone to resign, and he's got
- 4:02Speaker 2: two or three choices to replace the FED chairman, which
- 4:06Speaker 2: could save Americans literally trillions of dollars in interest. I'll
- 4:11Speaker 2: give you those details in a moment. It's the forty
- 4:13Speaker 2: seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Story number one.
- 4:18Speaker 2: The media yet again putting ice agents lives at risk,
- 4:22Speaker 2: this time CNN featuring a segment on ice block. It
- 4:27Speaker 2: is an app that lets users anonymously crowd source ice
- 4:32Speaker 2: agents sidings across the app and send alerts to others
- 4:36Speaker 2: within a five mile radius.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Now, the app's creator framed.
- 4:41Speaker 2: As a quote harmless early warning system to help people
- 4:44Speaker 2: avoid ICE, not to incite violence against the agents. Ice
- 4:49Speaker 2: block enforces constraints, they claim as well, one post every
- 4:54Speaker 2: five minutes, auto deletion after four hours, and explicitly recommends
- 4:58Speaker 2: users not interfer with officers. That's their get out of
- 5:03Speaker 2: jail free card.
- 5:04Speaker 3: Apparently.
- 5:05Speaker 2: The White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt accusing CNN of
- 5:08Speaker 2: encouraging violence by publicizing the app, especially amid a reported
- 5:13Speaker 2: five hundred percent surge in assaults on ICE agents nationwide.
- 5:18Speaker 2: The acting ICE Director called CNN's coverage quote reckless and irresponsible,
- 5:24Speaker 2: warning that it paints a target on federal law enforcement officers.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Backs and Tom Homan, the former ICE director, and the
- 5:32Speaker 2: current borders are branded the app is simply disgusting, and
- 5:36Speaker 2: urge the DOJ to investigate CNN's role in all of this.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I want you to hear more of what Tom Homan
- 5:43Speaker 2: had to say on Fox News Channel about this.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Well, this next story is outrageous. A new iPhone app
- 5:51Speaker 5: is a learning people about ICE sightings in their area.
- 5:54Speaker 5: As if that's not bad enough, CNN it appears to
- 5:56Speaker 5: be promoting the app, talking to the creator, and doing
- 5:59Speaker 5: a whole story on it that is not sitting well
- 6:02Speaker 5: with My next guest borders our time home and joins me. Now, Tom,
- 6:07Speaker 5: they've crossed the line here. This is out of control.
- 6:11Speaker 6: I know. It's just simply disgusting, and any network that
- 6:13Speaker 6: covers that is disgusting as well. So I'm hoping the
- 6:16Speaker 6: DOJ steps in here and see if they cross that line.
- 6:18Speaker 6: I'm impeding federal lawenforcement ofshers. Look, Lawrence, you're not talking
- 6:22Speaker 6: about this aasult again. SIS is up over five percent.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Now you've got an app that's going to tell where
- 6:27Speaker 6: ICE operators are going to be. It's only a matter
- 6:30Speaker 6: of time fore ICE ages are ambushed by some nut
- 6:33Speaker 6: like we're happening in LA throwing them out the top, cocktail,
- 6:35Speaker 6: throwing bricks, and these officers is just this is just
- 6:38Speaker 6: disgusting at every level. So I hope DOJ dives in
- 6:41Speaker 6: this deeply, because you know ICE is constrant on public
- 6:44Speaker 6: safety threats and national security threads. This shouldn't be a
- 6:47Speaker 6: partisan issue. There shouldn't be an issue anybody's is against.
- 6:50Speaker 6: So they're already a dangerous job going after the worst
- 6:53Speaker 6: the worst. These guys are putting their lives on the
- 6:55Speaker 6: line every day going after the worst and worst internationalecurity threats,
- 6:58Speaker 6: and this app makes it that much more dangerous. It's
- 7:01Speaker 6: incredible that those who enforced law, all of a sudden,
- 7:04Speaker 6: they're the bad guys you wanted to break the law.
- 7:06Speaker 6: They're victims. It's disgusting.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Why was seeing INN promote this? Why would they do
- 7:10Speaker 5: a story on this?
- 7:12Speaker 6: I can't figure it out. I've been look, I've been
- 7:13Speaker 6: doing this for four decades. I've never seen anything like
- 7:15Speaker 6: this in my life. You know, it's got to be
- 7:18Speaker 6: they hate Trump more than love law enforcement or I
- 7:21Speaker 6: can't figure it out, but something needs to be done.
- 7:23Speaker 6: I mean, you advertise this guy's app on a national
- 7:27Speaker 6: TV network, that's just going to bring more followers, sick
- 7:31Speaker 6: followers to the app and use it again, letting the
- 7:33Speaker 6: bad guy no Ice is coming. They're here, here's where
- 7:38Speaker 6: they're going next. This is dangerous for the men and
- 7:40Speaker 6: women law enforcement.
- 7:42Speaker 5: So true, Tom, I want to.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Get Tom Homan clearly slamming CNN for promoting the Ice
- 7:47Speaker 2: tracking app and now is saying maybe it's time for
- 7:50Speaker 2: law enforcement, the DOJ to step in here and see
- 7:53Speaker 2: if they cross the line, impeding federal law enforcement officers.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Yet again, another exampample of how the Left is doing
- 8:01Speaker 2: everything they can to protect I legal immigrants and put
- 8:05Speaker 2: American lives at risk.
- 8:08Speaker 4: Next story number two.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Now you may be asking yourself what is actually in
- 8:13Speaker 2: this bill that has left the Senate.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Let me give you that list, because it's an important one.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Number one, this bill delivers the largest tax cut in
- 8:23Speaker 2: history of the United States of America for middle and
- 8:26Speaker 2: working class Americans. Bigger paychecks of ten thousand dollars more
- 8:32Speaker 2: in annual take home pay for families as well. A
- 8:37Speaker 2: massive campaign idea is now reality. No tax on tips,
- 8:42Speaker 2: which will expand middle class America like we've never seen before.
- 8:47Speaker 3: We also are going to reward people that work hard
- 8:50Speaker 3: with no tax on overtime, incentivizing people to work more
- 8:55Speaker 3: to get ahead, and something that should have happened a
- 8:58Speaker 3: long time ago. No tax on Social Security, giving more
- 9:03Speaker 3: security to seniors, especially when cost of living has skyrocketed.
- 9:09Speaker 3: We also have no tax on made and America auto loans.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Let me say that again, no tax on made in
- 9:18Speaker 3: America auto loans, which will help prop up American made
- 9:21Speaker 3: automobiles and incentivize Americans to look at America first. It
- 9:26Speaker 3: will also help with massive amounts of manufacturing jobs, keeping
- 9:30Speaker 3: Americans working in manufacturing. It also protects two million family
- 9:36Speaker 3: farms from punitive double taxation, something that's been a huge
- 9:40Speaker 3: problem in this country. Permanent increases to the child tax credit.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Let me say that again, permanent increases to the child
- 9:50Speaker 3: tax credit, supporting over forty million American families. Also, a
- 9:56Speaker 3: vote against this bill is a vote for the largest
- 9:58Speaker 3: tax increase in history, something that Republicans did a very
- 10:03Speaker 3: good job of selling to the American people. It also,
- 10:06Speaker 3: in this bill rescinded billions in green news scam funding,
- 10:11Speaker 3: which DOGE and the Trump administration had exposed in the
- 10:15Speaker 3: last several months. It restores fiscal sanity, slashing deficits by
- 10:21Speaker 3: roughly two trillion dollars. Yes, there are many in the
- 10:25Speaker 3: House that want more than that, and we'll have to
- 10:27Speaker 3: see what happens moving forward. We also know that this
- 10:30Speaker 3: bill eliminated waste, fraud, and abuse from the bloated federal
- 10:35Speaker 3: programs that we have now been exposing through DOGE and
- 10:40Speaker 3: permanently securing our southern and northern borders, something the President
- 10:45Speaker 3: said needed to be in this bill. We also know
- 10:49Speaker 3: that this bill deports at least one million illegal aliens
- 10:52Speaker 3: a year. Yes, that is also in the bill, and
- 10:57Speaker 3: it makes the largest investment in border security in an
- 11:01Speaker 3: entire generation, providing nearly one hundred and fifty billion to
- 11:06Speaker 3: secure our border and also to deport illegal aliens, which
- 11:11Speaker 3: the American people voted for. The bill also includes finishing
- 11:15Speaker 3: Phase two of the border wall, something Donald Trump campaigned
- 11:19Speaker 3: on back all the way in twenty sixteen, and it
- 11:23Speaker 3: shifts the cost of adjudication in the immigration system from
- 11:28Speaker 3: the American taxpayer to the illegal aliens. We also know
- 11:33Speaker 3: that we're hiring it because of this bill, hiring ten
- 11:37Speaker 3: thousand new ice agents, more than five thousand customs officers,
- 11:44Speaker 3: and more than three thousand new border patrol agents, yet
- 11:48Speaker 3: again sending a message to the cartels and terrorists that
- 11:52Speaker 3: you don't want to try to sneak in to the
- 11:54Speaker 3: United States of America or ship your drugs into this country,
- 11:59Speaker 3: because we're coming for you. There's also funds for the
- 12:02Speaker 3: Golden Dome missile defense system to confront the twenty first
- 12:07Speaker 3: century threats, something the President and the DoD talked about
- 12:11Speaker 3: extensively with the American people. We know that we need
- 12:15Speaker 3: to put America first when it comes to our national security,
- 12:18Speaker 3: and that's exactly why the funds were included in this
- 12:21Speaker 3: bill for the Golden Dome Missile Defense System. We also
- 12:25Speaker 3: know the bill delivers the largest coast guard upgrade since
- 12:29Speaker 3: World War Two. Why are we doing that?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Because that's where the fetinyl is coming into this country
- 12:35Speaker 2: and the criminal cartels are clearly exploiting our open seats.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Now we will have the largest coastguard upgrade that we've
- 12:44Speaker 2: had since World War Two, something that needed to happen
- 12:47Speaker 2: decades ago. Finally, the bill modernized our military to ensure
- 12:52Speaker 2: it has the resources to be ready and encourages a
- 12:57Speaker 2: lethal fighting force. After four years of weeks by the
- 13:00Speaker 2: Biden administration, we've fallen behind China, but ninety longer. It
- 13:06Speaker 2: also ends Biden's war on American energy and drives down
- 13:11Speaker 2: energy costs, something that was important in this bill to
- 13:14Speaker 2: make sure that we as a nation are in fact
- 13:17Speaker 2: energy independent, something that the prior administration did everything they
- 13:22Speaker 2: could to make sure that we were weak as a nation.
- 13:26Speaker 2: And it also unleashes domestic oil, domestic gas, as well
- 13:31Speaker 2: as nuclear power, restoring what made America great all along
- 13:36Speaker 2: the ability to function without relying on Middle Eastern countries
- 13:40Speaker 2: or anyone else that's producing oil around the world, including
- 13:44Speaker 2: places like Russia. So if you want to know what's
- 13:47Speaker 2: in this America first, this big, this beautiful bill, well
- 13:52Speaker 2: here's what's in it. Now it moves back to the
- 13:55Speaker 2: House and hopefully it will be moving within days to
- 13:59Speaker 2: the press desk.
- 14:01Speaker 4: And here is story number three.
- 14:03Speaker 1: We also know this.
- 14:05Speaker 2: The President is also moving on to other major issues.
- 14:09Speaker 2: For example, Donald Trump is calling for the FED chair
- 14:15Speaker 2: Powell to quit quote immediately. Trump is ramping up the
- 14:19Speaker 2: pressure on Powell, urging lower interest rates against the Federal
- 14:24Speaker 2: Reserve Chair's continued opposition the president making it clear that
- 14:28Speaker 2: it's time for him to quote resign. In a True
- 14:32Speaker 2: Social post on Wednesday in the late afternoon, Trump said
- 14:36Speaker 2: too late, should resign immediately. He also linked to a
- 14:40Speaker 2: Bloomberg story headline that says FED chair should be investigated
- 14:44Speaker 2: by Congress. The FHSA head is now saying Powell was
- 14:51Speaker 2: nominated by Trump to lead the FED during the first administration.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Joe Biden, who succeeded Trump as President, nominated him for
- 14:58Speaker 2: a second term. His tenure as the FED chair is
- 15:01Speaker 2: set to end May of twenty twenty six, and Trump
- 15:06Speaker 2: is ramping up pressure, saying I don't want to wait
- 15:09Speaker 2: on Jerome Powell's tenure to end, issuing a call for
- 15:14Speaker 2: lower interest rates against the Federal Reserve Chair and continued
- 15:18Speaker 2: opposition and calling out the failure of the Fed's monetary policy.
- 15:24Speaker 2: For instance, earlier this week, Donald Trump posted this, Jerome
- 15:29Speaker 2: too late. Powell and his entire board should be ashamed
- 15:33Speaker 2: of themselves for allowing this to happen in the United
- 15:35Speaker 2: States of America. They have one of the easiest yet
- 15:39Speaker 2: most prestigious jobs in America, and they've failed, and they
- 15:43Speaker 2: continue to do so, saying this, If they were doing
- 15:47Speaker 2: their job properly, our country would be saving trillions of
- 15:50Speaker 2: dollars in interest costs. The board just sits there and watches,
- 15:56Speaker 2: so they are equally to blame. We should be paying
- 15:59Speaker 2: one percent or better now. The post preceded trump SONI
- 16:03Speaker 2: a letter to Powell urging him to lower interest rates,
- 16:05Speaker 2: the White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told reporters on Monday.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Pallis stated that the Fed's decision to hold off on
- 16:13Speaker 2: dropping your interest rates owes much to concern about the
- 16:18Speaker 2: possible impacts of quote tariffs on inflation that coming from
- 16:23Speaker 2: CBS News Now reports say he's waiting to see how
- 16:27Speaker 2: the Trump tearor policy quote plays out and what it
- 16:30Speaker 2: ultimately does to the US economy before making interest rate adjustments.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Powell has specifically said he wants to see longer term impacts,
- 16:41Speaker 2: if any, on consumer pricing. So I tell you that
- 16:45Speaker 2: story to just make it very clear there could be
- 16:48Speaker 2: some big changes coming very soon. But it also tells
- 16:51Speaker 2: you about the confidence that the President has that by
- 16:55Speaker 2: the time many of you hear this, he will already
- 16:58Speaker 2: have the biggest tax c that we've seen in our
- 17:01Speaker 2: lifetime and turning it into a reality. So what does
- 17:05Speaker 2: that mean moving forward, Well, it means we could see
- 17:09Speaker 2: some pretty big changes here. The President even moving forward
- 17:13Speaker 2: to say there are quote two or three choices to
- 17:16Speaker 2: replace the FED chairman and saying on Tuesday, yes, I'm
- 17:21Speaker 2: ready to go. When asked to board Air Force one
- 17:24Speaker 2: whether he has a top choice to succeed your own Powell,
- 17:27Speaker 2: Trump said exactly this, I have two or three top choices.
- 17:32Speaker 2: He declined to give any further information, yet again showing
- 17:36Speaker 2: how much Donald Trump's ready to move on. We also
- 17:39Speaker 2: know that The Wall Street Journal reported last week that
- 17:42Speaker 2: Trump is considering the former FED Governor Kevin Walsh and
- 17:46Speaker 2: National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett as replacements. Also, Treasury
- 17:52Speaker 2: Secretary of Scott Descent is also being pitched as a
- 17:55Speaker 2: potential candidate. That according to Wall Street Journal, which also
- 18:00Speaker 2: listed former World Bank President and FED Governor Christopher Waller
- 18:05Speaker 2: as potential nominees. Now courting the Wall Street Journal, Trump
- 18:09Speaker 2: is toyed with the idea of selecting and announcing a
- 18:12Speaker 2: replacement as early as September or October. However, the CENT
- 18:16Speaker 2: told Bloomberg TV on Monday that the Trump administration is
- 18:20Speaker 2: considering using the next expected Federal Reserve Border governor's vacancy
- 18:24Speaker 2: in early twenty twenty six to appoint a successor.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Now.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Since returning to the White House in January, Trump has
- 18:30Speaker 2: criticized Powell, as well as other FED governors for declining
- 18:35Speaker 2: not to lower interest rates, which are currently in the
- 18:38Speaker 2: four point twenty five to four point five to zero range.
- 18:41Speaker 2: FED chairs have long seen as insulated from presidential dismissal
- 18:46Speaker 2: for reasons other than malfeasan's or misconduct that Trumps threatened
- 18:51Speaker 2: to test the legal premise with frequent threats to fire
- 18:55Speaker 2: Jerome Powell now Supreme Court ruling in May. By the way,
- 18:59Speaker 2: he's concerns that Trump could fire Powell, as the Justice
- 19:04Speaker 2: called the Fed quote a uniquely structured quasi private entity.
- 19:10Speaker 2: So that leaves us at this point where the president's
- 19:13Speaker 2: clearly saying he believes Jerown Powell on this board are
- 19:16Speaker 2: the wrong people for the job, and he wants to
- 19:19Speaker 2: move as quickly as possible to move the country in
- 19:22Speaker 2: the right direction. He also has made it clear that
- 19:25Speaker 2: lower interest rates save you countless dollars in interests, something
- 19:30Speaker 2: that's good he believes for the economy. So if you
- 19:34Speaker 2: want to know what's happening right now at the White House,
- 19:37Speaker 2: it's pretty clear the present's getting ready for a very
- 19:40Speaker 2: big Fourth of July celebration, and it's one that is
- 19:44Speaker 2: going to give you a huge advantage in your pocket book.
- 19:48Speaker 1: And he's not done there.
- 19:50Speaker 2: He's also now looking to lower interest rates for you
- 19:53Speaker 2: as well. And that is exactly what the America First
- 19:57Speaker 2: Agenda that Donald Trump promised you looks like as we
- 20:00Speaker 2: go into the fourth of July.
