- 1:31Speaker 5: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Have to turn the mouth. The turn you probably got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn the mouth turn out. Wad the money up?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:06Speaker 6: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 6: radio show. Man, oh man, oh man, God been good
- 2:15Speaker 6: to me.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Man.
- 2:16Speaker 6: I can't explain it all really, Hey, you know, I
- 2:19Speaker 6: want to remind everybody of something that I need reminding
- 2:22Speaker 6: of myself all the time. And I'm I'm dealing with
- 2:28Speaker 6: a couple of things now and I had to remind myself.
- 2:31Speaker 6: You know what I have to remember. I have to
- 2:34Speaker 6: constantly remind myself to stay in constant communication with God.
- 2:39Speaker 6: Constant communication with God. You know.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know, I have a tendency and maybe we
- 2:46Speaker 1: do all the people.
- 2:47Speaker 6: I don't know, but I know for me that when
- 2:49Speaker 6: it's going okay, I slack up in sometimes having conversations
- 2:55Speaker 6: with him because I'm not coming to him on a
- 2:57Speaker 6: daily with something that's pressing or something, and I find
- 3:00Speaker 6: myself slacking up in the communication.
- 3:04Speaker 1: The danger I have learned in that is this, I think,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you know, I mean.
- 3:10Speaker 6: We've all heard old people say, you know, you got
- 3:12Speaker 6: to stay prayed up, you know, and you know prayed
- 3:17Speaker 6: up means you know you got some stoed up. You
- 3:20Speaker 6: just got an abundance of them where you're putting it in.
- 3:24Speaker 6: Because what happens is is when you're not in constant
- 3:27Speaker 6: communication with God, when you're not constantly praying, doing those
- 3:31Speaker 6: good times, that allows for the enemy to slip in
- 3:37Speaker 6: and do the little things that can be upsetting. And
- 3:40Speaker 6: then the next thing, you know what, you get several
- 3:42Speaker 6: little things in a row. Now you got an issue
- 3:46Speaker 6: you're dealing with. You know, I have to remind myself
- 3:49Speaker 6: when it's going like that, Man, Have I really been
- 3:52Speaker 6: praying though? Have I really been in constant communication with God?
- 3:56Speaker 6: Because you know, that helps God against that that little
- 4:00Speaker 6: bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's big stuff, sometimes it's
- 4:04Speaker 6: major stuff. But I've noticed, man, that when I get
- 4:07Speaker 6: on a more of a smooth plane in life, I
- 4:10Speaker 6: have a tendency to slack up in that department, and
- 4:14Speaker 6: that ain't the time to slack up. I'm really learning
- 4:18Speaker 6: that I have to stay in constant communication with God
- 4:21Speaker 6: because it enables me to ward off those little things
- 4:27Speaker 6: coming up that can get in the way. And so
- 4:30Speaker 6: I just wanted to make you aware of that as
- 4:32Speaker 6: I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up is important
- 4:37Speaker 6: that you try to stop prayers, you know, you try
- 4:39Speaker 6: to you know, have some prayers in the bank, so
- 4:43Speaker 6: to speak, and just constant communication with Him because it'll
- 4:46Speaker 6: just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back doing you.
- 4:49Speaker 6: You know, I just wanted to make sure you understood
- 4:51Speaker 6: that because on your journey, it's gonna be many obstacles.
- 4:56Speaker 6: I've said this one hundred times on the show. The
- 4:59Speaker 6: road to success is always under construction. I say that
- 5:02Speaker 6: all the time, and it's to let you understand that
- 5:06Speaker 6: it's not going to be easy, but we can make
- 5:10Speaker 6: it more difficult than it has to be, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 6: when you go out strike out on the journey. You know,
- 5:18Speaker 6: Let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 5:20Speaker 6: in New York and I get in my car and
- 5:23Speaker 6: I say I'm.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Going to LA.
- 5:26Speaker 6: I know. If I drive west and continue to drive west,
- 5:32Speaker 6: eventually I should get to California, or I may wind
- 5:36Speaker 6: up in Portland or Seattle or something like that.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But if I drive.
- 5:41Speaker 6: West, I'm going to eventually get to the West Coast.
- 5:46Speaker 6: Now wouldn't it be smarter though? If I mapped out
- 5:53Speaker 6: the route which saved me a bunch of driving, I
- 5:58Speaker 6: don't need and figuring that I I don't have to
- 6:00Speaker 6: calculate when you know the way to go. You know,
- 6:05Speaker 6: if you know you want to cut cross on the twenty,
- 6:11Speaker 6: or you want to cut cross on the seventy, or
- 6:14Speaker 6: you want to cut cross on the Tin, you know
- 6:18Speaker 6: you got to devise a route.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Now, if I want to go visit some people I know,
- 6:22Speaker 1: then I know I got to I need to go down.
- 6:25Speaker 6: You know. I might go through Ohio, come down on
- 6:27Speaker 6: the eighty, then get on seventy one and take that
- 6:30Speaker 6: all the way down to the Tin and then ride across.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Or I might take it to the twenty, cut through
- 6:35Speaker 6: Texas and then and then let it link back up
- 6:38Speaker 6: on the ten. I know a lot of different ways,
- 6:40Speaker 6: but guess what the best way is to map it out?
- 6:45Speaker 6: You can go anywhere. But if you go with a map,
- 6:48Speaker 6: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 6: And that's what prayer has taught me that when I
- 6:55Speaker 6: will deentify, continuously pray that I stay in the In
- 7:00Speaker 6: the I stay in a prepared mode, I have more
- 7:03Speaker 6: idea of where I'm going.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I'm more secure with my route.
- 7:07Speaker 6: If you just take off driving heading west, Yeah, you'll
- 7:11Speaker 6: eventually get to the west coast if you out east.
- 7:13Speaker 6: But guess what though, had you mapped it out, you
- 7:17Speaker 6: can see when you veering off, you may stop, come
- 7:20Speaker 6: out and not be paying attention. Next thing you know,
- 7:23Speaker 6: you're on a route and you go on another way.
- 7:25Speaker 6: You're going north when you could easily still be going west.
- 7:28Speaker 6: You've got to constantly be aware of that. And I'm
- 7:30Speaker 6: just pointing that out to you because I know that
- 7:32Speaker 6: on your journey, a lot of times you get sidetracked.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And part of the ways we get sidetracked is we
- 7:38Speaker 1: lose out on that very the very beneficial resource of prayer.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We lose out. Our connection with God gets strained. The
- 7:48Speaker 1: thicker you can keep the cord connected to God.
- 7:53Speaker 6: If you thin out your communication with God, and instead
- 7:57Speaker 6: of having a big thick cable.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Now you're dealing with a little red.
- 8:01Speaker 6: You know, a cable is stronger than thread, and so
- 8:05Speaker 6: it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know, I
- 8:09Speaker 6: wanted to just make you aware of that, and uh,
- 8:12Speaker 6: you know, to ever be encouraged and to say to
- 8:14Speaker 6: everybody out there and just keep your head up. It
- 8:17Speaker 6: is going to be dark days for you. There are
- 8:20Speaker 6: going to be situations where it's going to be daunting
- 8:23Speaker 6: and hard to face. But man, oh man, oh man,
- 8:27Speaker 6: everybody has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes.
- 8:31Speaker 6: You know, look, if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose,
- 8:37Speaker 6: you wouldn't even appreciate winning because if it all went
- 8:40Speaker 6: your weight all the time. Do you know how complacent
- 8:44Speaker 6: and content and how easy life would be if it
- 8:49Speaker 6: just went your.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Way all the time.
- 8:51Speaker 6: So when it kept going your way, you wouldn't even
- 8:54Speaker 6: appreciate it because guess what, it's been going this way
- 8:56Speaker 6: the whole time. So what life does is it has
- 9:00Speaker 6: checks and balances. These hard times are coming, and you
- 9:04Speaker 6: need the hard times to appreciate the good times. You
- 9:07Speaker 6: need the clouds and you need the rain to appreciate
- 9:11Speaker 6: the sun and the flowers. It's just when it comes
- 9:16Speaker 6: to prayer, though, just stay prayed up, stay constant with it,
- 9:22Speaker 6: because the challenges of life are coming, whether you prayed
- 9:25Speaker 6: up or not, they're coming. Understand that you could pray
- 9:29Speaker 6: every day all day. When you get through praying every
- 9:32Speaker 6: day all day, something gonna happen to you. That's gonna
- 9:35Speaker 6: be challenging.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Now.
- 9:37Speaker 6: I would rather have been in communication with God on
- 9:40Speaker 6: a regular than wait till every time something pop off
- 9:43Speaker 6: to have to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, it
- 9:47Speaker 6: was over a little around the board with it today,
- 9:51Speaker 6: but that's how it came to me. So that is
- 9:53Speaker 6: I ain't mad at it. Y'all have a great day.
- 9:55Speaker 6: We're gonna have a good one day.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Let's go listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Steve Harvey Morning Show. What's up everybody? This she mayor
- 10:06Speaker 6: Steve Harvey.
- 10:06Speaker 3: You know what.
- 10:07Speaker 6: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And I want
- 10:09Speaker 6: to remind you all that you got to start your
- 10:12Speaker 6: day with the proper attitude. And it doesn't always start
- 10:16Speaker 6: that way sometimes, I'll admit, because we're humans, sometimes you
- 10:18Speaker 6: wake up and you allow negative moment to creep into
- 10:21Speaker 6: your head and then it starts to fester. To negate negativity.
- 10:26Speaker 6: The best way to negate negativity is with gratitude. Gratitude
- 10:32Speaker 6: replaces that immediately. So I had a little brief moment
- 10:35Speaker 6: this morning and I just started being grateful, Start telling
- 10:38Speaker 6: God how much I appreciated what all I have, the
- 10:40Speaker 6: things He's done for me, the things he's allowed me
- 10:43Speaker 6: to overcome, the winds I had when it looks like
- 10:46Speaker 6: a loss, when he picked me up, when they tried
- 10:49Speaker 6: to knock me down, when he held me above the fray,
- 10:51Speaker 6: when they was throwing rocks at me, and I just
- 10:53Speaker 6: got grateful. So that's what it is. So we grateful
- 10:56Speaker 6: this morning. Welcome to the Steve Harven Morning Show. I'm
- 10:58Speaker 6: gonna start this day off with it joke. I don't
- 11:01Speaker 6: normally do that, and we're gonna have to beat this
- 11:03Speaker 6: joke because it was the only way for me to
- 11:06Speaker 6: say it good. But it made me laugh this morning.
- 11:08Speaker 6: I just wanted to share it with you. Get the
- 11:10Speaker 6: beat button ready. This joke is about older men, and
- 11:15Speaker 6: I thought about myself, if I had to do a
- 11:17Speaker 6: job in if you hire, would go This is why
- 11:20Speaker 6: older men don't get higher. This is why. Human resource
- 11:25Speaker 6: manager says to an old man he's about eighty years old.
- 11:29Speaker 6: He said, what is your greatest weakness? The old man replied,
- 11:34Speaker 6: my honesty? The home depot manager, excuse me, let's start
- 11:40Speaker 6: the joke over. I don't do jokes good. I can't
- 11:42Speaker 6: stand joe because I said the home depot manager. It's
- 11:51Speaker 6: the whole resource kick a got all right, here we go,
- 11:58Speaker 6: this is why you can't hire old man. Human resource
- 12:02Speaker 6: manager says, what is your greatest weakness?
- 12:08Speaker 1: The old man said, my honesty.
- 12:11Speaker 6: The human resource manager says, I don't think honesty is
- 12:15Speaker 6: a weakness.
- 12:16Speaker 1: The old man said, I don't give a what you think.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Honesty.
- 12:29Speaker 5: He just told you.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You're hired. It's my greatest week star.
- 12:41Speaker 6: I don't really think honest did the weakness? Well, I
- 12:47Speaker 6: don't give up what you said. That's my joke. This
- 12:55Speaker 6: morning man, like you know, that had me hollered. This
- 12:59Speaker 6: morning man got me into a good move. He told him,
- 13:03Speaker 6: my greatest weakness is my honesty. He just told me
- 13:06Speaker 6: my honesty.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I just told it to you.
- 13:07Speaker 3: He said, No, he ain't.
- 13:09Speaker 6: I don't think that's a weekend. Well, I don't really
- 13:14Speaker 6: what should take Well.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I was honestly.
- 13:19Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, that's the way to kick off for Friday.
- 13:24Speaker 6: Yeah, they helped me out this morning.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Friday.
- 13:28Speaker 5: Phone, don't turn it into freedom Friday, man, and turn
- 13:31Speaker 5: it into freedom Friday.
- 13:33Speaker 6: You know what, I think I might pick myself up
- 13:35Speaker 6: with a cupboat jokes today.
- 13:38Speaker 7: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:42Speaker 7: we'll hear from the nephews. He runs that prank back
- 13:44Speaker 7: right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show. It is
- 13:53Speaker 7: time now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:55Speaker 7: What you got for us, nef Yes.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yes, no, no, no, no, no no.
- 14:01Speaker 5: We lashing out, Shirley. This is where you you ladies
- 14:04Speaker 5: go get your eyelashes done. You understand what I'm saying.
- 14:07Speaker 5: We lashing out. That's what we got it cause these
- 14:13Speaker 5: lashes have gotten out of control. Okay, if your lashes
- 14:17Speaker 5: are past your nose, come on now, Yes, that's a
- 14:22Speaker 5: that's a bit much. That is a bit much, so
- 14:24Speaker 5: cat dog, if you would, we're gonna lash out a
- 14:26Speaker 5: little bit.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 14:28Speaker 8: Hey is clashing out? How can we lash out?
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Bianca.
- 14:33Speaker 8: This is Bianca.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Hey, listen, my name is Brian my my wife, Jamie
- 14:38Speaker 5: come up there and get her eyelashes done.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Is uh?
- 14:40Speaker 1: Who the who's the owner of this place? I am Brian?
- 14:44Speaker 8: What's going on?
- 14:45Speaker 1: Okay?
- 14:45Speaker 6: Going on?
- 14:46Speaker 9: You be?
- 14:47Speaker 10: You be?
- 14:47Speaker 1: You the one that owned the place.
- 14:49Speaker 8: I'm Bianca. I'm the owner. We opened about a year
- 14:51Speaker 8: and a half ago, proud, happy, black owned, women owned,
- 14:55Speaker 8: woman owned establishment. What can I do for you?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Okay, here's the deal.
- 15:00Speaker 5: I'm sick and tired of my wife coming up there,
- 15:03Speaker 5: and then when she get back home, she got these
- 15:05Speaker 5: thick ass eyelashes on and they long as hell, you know.
- 15:09Speaker 5: I mean, it's these eyelashes thicking of somebody's mustache. It's
- 15:12Speaker 5: a shame, you know. Now they told her to take that.
- 15:17Speaker 8: Hold up, Brian. Now I may or may not be
- 15:20Speaker 8: the person doing it, but whoever, I'm pretty sure probably
- 15:22Speaker 8: that sounds familiar. But whoever, we have a lot of customers.
- 15:26Speaker 8: But whoever comes in here, they pick their lashes. We
- 15:29Speaker 8: we you know, we collaborate. But the girls are saying
- 15:32Speaker 8: what they want done, they pick it. So if they're thick,
- 15:35Speaker 8: they're sick because they want them thick.
- 15:37Speaker 5: Okay, well these are two they too thick. And then
- 15:39Speaker 5: and they too long. Your eyelasses ain't supposed to be
- 15:42Speaker 5: sticking away. I pass your nose. That's a shame. But
- 15:45Speaker 5: let me let me tell you what I'm getting at though.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Here's here's here's my reason for calling. If my wife
- 15:50Speaker 5: comes home one more say what.
- 15:52Speaker 8: Brian, can you send her down? Because I mean, I'm
- 15:55Speaker 8: running a business here and you sound crazy. They can
- 15:59Speaker 8: cheer you through the fall. The girls looking at me
- 16:01Speaker 8: in the chair. I don't know what's going on.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 16:04Speaker 8: Can you calm down? You loud and screaming.
- 16:08Speaker 5: All I'm saying is if my wife come home with
- 16:09Speaker 5: these long, thick as I lasses again, I'm gonna come
- 16:13Speaker 5: up there and raise Holy hell at that place.
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm telling you the truth about that.
- 16:17Speaker 8: You know, what are you talking about? What are you
- 16:19Speaker 8: threatening me? You are not coming up here.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I'm coming up there.
- 16:22Speaker 5: You if my wife coming home with them thick as
- 16:25Speaker 5: long eye lasses again, I am no.
- 16:27Speaker 8: You're not coming up here. We just opened a year
- 16:29Speaker 8: and half ago. We are doing that. We don't need
- 16:32Speaker 8: no drama for nobody. You need to talk to your wife.
- 16:34Speaker 8: It's your marriage. Don't come down here taking it.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Ain't nothing wrong with my marriage The only thing wrong
- 16:38Speaker 5: with my marriage is he thinking as I lasting and.
- 16:41Speaker 2: They too long.
- 16:42Speaker 8: That's why are you? Why are you calling me with this?
- 16:45Speaker 5: See now I'm yes because I'm calling because this is
- 16:48Speaker 5: what she got her eyelashes done.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Oh my god, Oh my god. Then you need to
- 16:53Speaker 8: talk to your wife. Okay, I need to calm down.
- 16:56Speaker 8: I'm running a business here. What you're trying to do
- 16:58Speaker 8: sabotage me? What you work for?
- 16:59Speaker 1: The How are you trying to stat now?
- 17:01Speaker 5: But I'll tell you what if she come home with
- 17:02Speaker 5: these long thickets as our lads again, I'm gonna come
- 17:05Speaker 5: up there and I'm gonna find all the violates and
- 17:07Speaker 5: the codes and everything building codes, and I will get
- 17:10Speaker 5: you shut down if we don't stop these long thickets
- 17:12Speaker 5: as I last.
- 17:13Speaker 8: Okay, Brian, I'm from the south Side so much. You
- 17:18Speaker 8: need to back up because now you're threatening my livelihood. Yes,
- 17:22Speaker 8: I'm gonna go there with you. You're threatened in my livelihood.
- 17:25Speaker 8: You're threatening the jobs of so many girls here.
- 17:27Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 17:28Speaker 8: You need to talk to your wife and you just
- 17:30Speaker 8: back up. And I am sorry to Kurt. We try
- 17:33Speaker 8: to speak class here, but now you're making me lash
- 17:37Speaker 8: out at from lash out, But you need to back up.
- 17:40Speaker 8: This is my job and people have jobs. What are
- 17:43Speaker 8: you doing threatening to come up here. I'm gonna call
- 17:46Speaker 8: the cops on you, and you will not be able
- 17:48Speaker 8: to come here, and we will not let you get
- 17:50Speaker 8: her her eyelashes on. And you need to fix your
- 17:53Speaker 8: marriage because you got some anger issues. Clearly you pissed
- 17:56Speaker 8: off at your wife and you're calling us, threatening to
- 17:58Speaker 8: ruin our business. Why what is your wife's name?
- 18:01Speaker 1: My wife name is? My wife name is Jamie?
- 18:04Speaker 6: Okay?
- 18:05Speaker 8: Does anybody is here no Jamie? Or do Jamie blashes? Okay?
- 18:11Speaker 8: It's like four girls raising her hand because everybody goes
- 18:14Speaker 8: to somebody different, so I don't know who is does
- 18:17Speaker 8: Jamie blashes? But you got some anger issues? Okay?
- 18:21Speaker 1: I ain't got no anger issue.
- 18:22Speaker 5: The only problem I got is my wife having some long,
- 18:25Speaker 5: thick eyelashes and they further out than her nose and
- 18:28Speaker 5: thinking in on somebody's muchstair.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That's what I got a problem with.
- 18:31Speaker 8: Okay, you know what, Jamie just needs to leave your
- 18:34Speaker 8: because if you got an issue, call her. Why are
- 18:36Speaker 8: you calling us?
- 18:40Speaker 5: Why wouldn't I call the people that put the thick
- 18:42Speaker 5: eyelashes on why wouldn't I Well.
- 18:44Speaker 8: First of all, you need to talk to Jamie and
- 18:48Speaker 8: send her up here. We're gonna tell her not to
- 18:49Speaker 8: leave your first of all. Second of all, I don't.

- 22:01Speaker 6: Well, dog, they ain't like your food prep, All that

- 22:15Speaker 6: Bring it all over, all that stuff you put them
- 22:17Speaker 6: in another tougher way and set in the cloth you
- 22:19Speaker 6: might want that. They asked her to come cook for them, dog,
- 22:24Speaker 6: that's all. And they told you by having they sister
- 22:26Speaker 6: come over here. They an't want to hurt your feeling.

- 23:37Speaker 1: Well, you're getting used again. The sex is terrible.
- 23:41Speaker 6: But you've made a video and you're gonna send it

- 23:46Speaker 1: She already.
- 23:47Speaker 6: Look, everybody pay for every all of their sins, don't
- 23:51Speaker 6: You don't. You don't get to skipped through free. And
- 23:54Speaker 6: just because you don't know how the payment worked out,
- 23:56Speaker 6: it ain't up to you to decide what payment is.
- 23:58Speaker 6: That's why they say beinga it's his mind, said the lord.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Because once you start getting in there, then you got
- 24:04Speaker 6: to pay for your wrong too. Now you sleeping with
- 24:07Speaker 6: a married man, you're gonna have to pay for that.
- 24:09Speaker 6: You vidy made a video. You do know when you

- 24:24Speaker 6: when you dig that hole, dig too, we're all right.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Moving on, I hope you got that, Virginia.

- 24:33Speaker 7: married nine years and my husband has never once washed clothes.
- 24:37Speaker 7: I got home from a revival and he had washed
- 24:40Speaker 7: our bedding and the towels. He said he was trying
- 24:43Speaker 7: to surprise me and be nice. Would I be wrong
- 24:46Speaker 7: to second guess him?
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 24:49Speaker 6: Go on, second So what you think you think he
- 24:51Speaker 6: had somebody in the bed that's why he was, Yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 6: washing the bed sheets and stuff.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Why wouldn't he just throw them away?
- 25:01Speaker 2: She would ask, Really, where's my way to comfort her?
- 25:04Speaker 1: And what and the towels?
- 25:10Speaker 6: We better go answer that question? Then that then than
- 25:15Speaker 6: this here? It didn't mess she came up with. And
- 25:19Speaker 6: I'm not really the one that asked, because I ain't
- 25:21Speaker 6: watched the thing and I can't even count the years.
- 25:24Speaker 2: I don't know neither her husband and I.
- 25:27Speaker 6: Don't even know.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Really how to turn the washing machine on. No more.
- 25:32Speaker 6: They got these new ones now, and they got all
- 25:35Speaker 6: these instructions on them. I don't even know.
- 25:37Speaker 1: But they got power but what you well, they had
- 25:40Speaker 1: power button? But then what I do after that? Put
- 25:44Speaker 1: the the detergent in rest the time?
- 25:48Speaker 6: Whoa who put detergent? Where where it goes? And where
- 25:53Speaker 6: where asked that? Because it don't look like.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Crazy?
- 26:01Speaker 3: Man?
- 26:01Speaker 6: What happened to just pull it in and there on
- 26:03Speaker 6: the clothes? I don't do that's the last time I
- 26:07Speaker 6: washed them clothes. Wow, you pull it in and then
- 26:10Speaker 6: you pull pull the stuff. Or you sprinkled powder on
- 26:13Speaker 6: top of all the clothes and then you shut it
- 26:15Speaker 6: and cut it on.
- 26:16Speaker 1: They don't do that no more? See that right there?
- 26:19Speaker 1: And that's all I got for you.
- 26:22Speaker 2: All right, Well, her husband hasn't washed in nine years.
- 26:25Speaker 1: That's I got. Your husband beat Pete? All right?
- 26:34Speaker 2: So h so should she second guess him? That's her question?
- 26:38Speaker 1: No second guessing for what? But your second guessing.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Saying why would he wash these clothes?
- 26:44Speaker 7: He hasn't washed clothes in nine years, while all of
- 26:47Speaker 7: a sudden is he washing the linen?
- 26:50Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 26:51Speaker 1: What are you trying to make it out to be?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, and they messed up the bedland in?
- 27:00Speaker 1: Really you you're not.
- 27:01Speaker 6: You're not even You don't have a suspicion that your
- 27:04Speaker 6: husband is cheating. Your stun that he watched something after
- 27:08Speaker 6: nine years? Yes, but now you're gonna introduce cheating into
- 27:12Speaker 6: the me. That's crazy to me?
- 27:16Speaker 2: Why all of a sudden when he do this, that's
- 27:18Speaker 2: what it is.
- 27:19Speaker 1: But his ways, Shirley, you want.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Y'all sitting up here, though y'all didn't added this into it,
- 27:28Speaker 6: and y'all okay with it.
- 27:30Speaker 4: I don't think he cheated, but I'm saying that's where
- 27:33Speaker 4: she's coming from.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Hello.
- 27:36Speaker 4: I think she complained about him not doing anything Washington,
- 27:39Speaker 4: So I think he just said, well, I do the
- 27:41Speaker 4: bids and the towels. I don't think this man is
- 27:43Speaker 4: crazy enough to cheat and bring another woman to his
- 27:46Speaker 4: bedroom in his house.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Stupid. That's me.
- 27:53Speaker 7: From a revival. And he had washed our bedding and
- 27:56Speaker 7: the towels, but revival. Sometimes she's suspicious. It must have
- 28:03Speaker 7: been something else. Yes, she's suspicious of him after nine
- 28:07Speaker 7: years of not washing.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I wonder if he used game though? Did he use?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Would you rather?
- 28:17Speaker 2: Are you stunned to Steve?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm just how how you just soaked?
- 28:22Speaker 5: What? Why is?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Why is it down with y'all?
- 28:25Speaker 7: I don't even want to spill, because when you change
- 28:29Speaker 7: your behavior, I mean.
- 28:31Speaker 1: You don't know you've changed, but that day what it't mean?
- 28:34Speaker 7: Though he changed after nine years he washed something, that's
- 28:38Speaker 7: a change anyway, it's security camera.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Hold on, hold on, hold on, let me tell you something.
- 28:45Speaker 6: I powerwashed my ATV the other day. Look at I've
- 28:51Speaker 6: never powerwashed an ATV in my life, but the other
- 28:58Speaker 6: day I powerwash it. That's so.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Did I have a girl on that riding with me
- 29:02Speaker 1: and I wanted to wash her sin off of it?
- 29:07Speaker 10: Huh?
- 29:09Speaker 6: Well, I'm making sure it wasn't no DNA own it
- 29:12Speaker 6: wasn't no fragermails extra straight hair, ain't no hair come
- 29:17Speaker 6: out the lace front and got on the bike.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Why did I wash that?
- 29:22Speaker 2: She's suspicious for some reason, though, Steve? All right, thank you, Celo. Hey, y'all,
- 29:31Speaker 2: this is Monica.
- 29:32Speaker 1: This is Spike Lee.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Hey, this is Mary J. Blood Yo.
- 29:34Speaker 1: This is Stephen A. Smith.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Hey, this is Shaka Kahan.
- 29:37Speaker 1: You have no idea what it is. This is Carlos Miller.
- 29:39Speaker 1: And this may or may not be the Steve Harvey
- 29:42Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 29:43Speaker 2: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Uncle Neff
- 29:51Speaker 2: are here three days?
- 29:53Speaker 7: Yes, yes, so lovely. So you guys, you and have
- 29:58Speaker 7: some grilling tips for grill rules and all of that. Yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 7: let's get started. What you got do you clean your grill?
- 30:08Speaker 1: H not that much.
- 30:10Speaker 6: I really just I really just brush off the residue
- 30:13Speaker 6: from the last time that fall into the flame.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't clean the grill completely.
- 30:19Speaker 2: You don't clean it.
- 30:20Speaker 1: You don't on that heat hit it once that he'd hit.
- 30:22Speaker 6: See I put that. I put that grill over that fire,
- 30:26Speaker 6: fire kill all journey, and you just scrub it up
- 30:30Speaker 6: so it leaves.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I take my steel brushing clean it. But I want
- 30:36Speaker 1: that seasoning and there you do. Now walk me through this.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Walk me through marinateing a slab of reel.
- 30:44Speaker 6: Now, marinating the slab of reel for me is very
- 30:46Speaker 6: simple because you can do it overnight, but it's not necessary.
- 30:52Speaker 6: I do like a thirty five forty five hour long process.
- 30:57Speaker 6: The first thing I do, I go down to Walmart.
- 31:00Speaker 6: Got this thing that can peel the skin off the
- 31:02Speaker 6: back of the ribs. That's the first day. That little
- 31:07Speaker 6: that little thin layered skin that that's real chewy.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I takes that off. See I peel that off. Keep going.
- 31:16Speaker 6: I'm listening, because this is how you really get your
- 31:18Speaker 6: meat to taste right. You take that skin off that's
- 31:21Speaker 6: on the.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Bone side of the rib. So serious time get this
- 31:28Speaker 1: feel like yeah, and you should be.
- 31:36Speaker 6: Head cooking. I only use a dry rub. That's all
- 31:43Speaker 6: I use. And I have a special dry rub that
- 31:47Speaker 6: I use. All right, so you put that on? How
- 31:50Speaker 6: long you just let this?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Now?
- 31:52Speaker 6: First, I got my fire outside going right, But I
- 31:57Speaker 6: prefer the big green egg. That's what I got.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yes, that's the best way.
- 32:01Speaker 6: Then once I get that cold down there, I pull
- 32:05Speaker 6: them to three quarter side of the grill because I
- 32:07Speaker 6: got the big one, and I leave a fourth of
- 32:10Speaker 6: the grill with.
- 32:11Speaker 1: No coal under it. I pull all the cold forward.
- 32:14Speaker 6: So I'm only on three fourths of the grill. That
- 32:17Speaker 6: bast in case my meat get to go on a
- 32:18Speaker 6: little hot, I got a little cool spot. I can
- 32:20Speaker 6: push the meat too, keep it from direct heat cook it.
- 32:25Speaker 6: Then when I shut the lid down, I monitor the
- 32:28Speaker 6: dampers and the drafts on it to keep it around
- 32:32Speaker 6: two seventy five two fifty.
- 32:34Speaker 1: That's good cooking temp right there?
- 32:37Speaker 6: What you want? Got that green egg in there. Now
- 32:40Speaker 6: I've rubbed my meat with this dry rub. I take
- 32:44Speaker 6: it out there and I set it on the grill
- 32:48Speaker 6: rebside down, ribside down at two seventy five, and I
- 32:56Speaker 6: shut it.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Fifty five five minutes later. Come on, take him on.
- 33:02Speaker 6: I open the lid and you can start eating baby
- 33:06Speaker 6: bags that fact. Yes, sir, that's all you do.
- 33:10Speaker 1: You ever wrap yours in four No? I do nothing. Okay,
- 33:14Speaker 1: you've seen that process though, right, I've seen there's nothing
- 33:17Speaker 1: wrong with it.
- 33:19Speaker 5: You put them on four five, But you can put
- 33:20Speaker 5: them on for about forty five what about thirty minutes
- 33:23Speaker 5: and then take them off, wrap and put them back
- 33:24Speaker 5: on and let him cook the rest of the way
- 33:26Speaker 5: in the fall y.
- 33:27Speaker 1: See, I don't wrap my meat.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Well, is there a problem with wrapping your beat?
- 33:32Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, he sounds.
- 33:36Speaker 6: I'm just saying it ain't the sacondah against but it's
- 33:43Speaker 6: not the same.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Said, come on, I felt like I was going the
- 33:48Speaker 1: wrong way. I biled out of this and Tommy was
- 33:55Speaker 1: just taking you there.
- 33:58Speaker 6: But fifty five to fifty seven minutes on one side,
- 34:02Speaker 6: I never flipped the meat, right, really, I never flip
- 34:06Speaker 6: it because what happens is when you cook it just
- 34:08Speaker 6: bone side down, and you know it ain't no meat
- 34:12Speaker 6: on the bone side of the reb sea. But what
- 34:15Speaker 6: it does is it seals it real nice, and it
- 34:18Speaker 6: keeps the meat real juicy because you put a sear
- 34:21Speaker 6: on the bone side and then the smoke and my
- 34:23Speaker 6: wood chips cooked the meat on the top.
- 34:26Speaker 2: So why do people flip their meat? I mean, I
- 34:28Speaker 2: see that all you know.
- 34:30Speaker 6: I mean my brother flippes me, My daddy flipped this week.
- 34:33Speaker 2: I just don't.
- 34:34Speaker 6: I just don't because it's not necessary and you get
- 34:39Speaker 6: you get a real tender piece of baby back. I
- 34:43Speaker 6: do this now.
- 34:44Speaker 5: I'm ask anybody that didn't have my ribs. Now here's
- 34:49Speaker 5: what a lot of people don't perfect Because now you
- 34:51Speaker 5: did turn me on the sun. That was good, that
- 34:52Speaker 5: lump cold. I never knew nothing about that tea. That's
- 34:55Speaker 5: the only thing I messed with.
- 34:56Speaker 1: That's that's now. What's that? That's that's like wood that's
- 35:00Speaker 1: already been burners. Yeah, and it's when they have uh
- 35:06Speaker 1: sports fires. Yeah, all them charred.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Trees, that's what it is. That's perfect for barbecue. Love
- 35:14Speaker 6: cod Central Market got hurt as the best of it.
- 35:18Speaker 6: I bet a lot of bellows of Central Market grocery store.
- 35:22Speaker 6: It's made by Central Market. Well they bag it up
- 35:25Speaker 6: as what I mean, Well, yeah, it's it's all the same.
- 35:29Speaker 6: But Green Egg has a good version that's usually the
- 35:32Speaker 6: most burned. You know, because you could see some of
- 35:36Speaker 6: the wood in some of it.
- 35:37Speaker 1: You ain't never seeing the green eggs. Shure, the smoker
- 35:39Speaker 1: s not actually green eggs and ham. Girl, God, this
- 35:44Speaker 1: this this is too much. Just sit and wait till
- 35:48Speaker 1: not only can she not cooked, she don't even know
- 35:52Speaker 1: the brands of applying smoke. I green eggs at the
- 35:56Speaker 1: barbecue brown up? Oh my gosh, upset, that's real sad?
- 36:05Speaker 2: What your real green egg?
- 36:08Speaker 1: Okay, all right, go on, Steve. Sorry, all right, So
- 36:14Speaker 1: we learned a lot grilling with Steve Man. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 1: Tommy is a good grill. Yes you can, sir. I
- 36:24Speaker 1: will be grilling this weekend. I won't be eating out
- 36:27Speaker 1: there on that grill.
- 36:29Speaker 7: We'll be back with more right after this. You're listening

- 55:56Speaker 2: Thank you, my good friend, Junior.
- 55:58Speaker 7: Subject, pack up bag and a snack because you ain't
- 56:02Speaker 7: coming back. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a going back
- 56:07Speaker 7: because you ain't going back?
- 56:08Speaker 2: Right? You do that again?
- 56:10Speaker 7: Subjects, Pack a bag and a snack. That ain't you
- 56:12Speaker 7: know kind of threw me. Pack a bag and a
- 56:14Speaker 7: snack because you ain't going back? Okay, I do you
- 56:18Speaker 7: like that, Junior?
- 56:19Speaker 1: I love it with a little bit more better for you.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Pack a bag uh huh and a snack uh huh?
- 56:28Speaker 1: Cause going back.
- 56:34Speaker 6: Ahead?
- 56:36Speaker 2: All right, Thank you, Steve.
- 56:39Speaker 7: Dude, Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a new guy that is
- 56:42Speaker 7: either really crazy about me or he's Craig Cray in
- 56:45Speaker 7: real life.
- 56:46Speaker 2: He can't seem to get enough of me and wants
- 56:48Speaker 2: to be in my face. Twenty four to seven.
- 56:51Speaker 7: He was married eight years and said he can't live
- 56:54Speaker 7: without companionship. His house is forty five minutes from mine,
- 56:58Speaker 7: so when we go on dates. He either sleeps in
- 57:01Speaker 7: my guest room or I sleep in his, depending on
- 57:04Speaker 7: whose area we spend time. Then I work from home,
- 57:07Speaker 7: so I'm always able to work from his home. Two
- 57:10Speaker 7: weeks ago, he invited me to a white party and
- 57:13Speaker 7: he said to quote pack a bag and a snack
- 57:16Speaker 7: because you ain't going back. He wasn't joking, and I've
- 57:19Speaker 7: been at his house for two weeks. He drove me
- 57:22Speaker 7: home to pick up some clothes and water my plants,
- 57:25Speaker 7: and I had to get my mail stopped in everything.
- 57:27Speaker 7: He has fixed the guest room up for me, and
- 57:29Speaker 7: he brought all of my favorite snacks. I think he
- 57:32Speaker 7: might really like me because he doesn't pressure me for
- 57:35Speaker 7: sex and he lets me sleep peacefully in my own room.
- 57:39Speaker 7: He cooks breakfast most of the time, and we have
- 57:42Speaker 7: been cooking dinner together. The question I've been asking him
- 57:46Speaker 7: is where is this going. He can't give me a
- 57:49Speaker 7: straight answer. He just says this is a trial period
- 57:52Speaker 7: to see if we are compatible. I'm thirty four and
- 57:55Speaker 7: he's thirty nine, and both of us are still in
- 57:58Speaker 7: our prime. Fact that he is locked in on me
- 58:03Speaker 7: so quickly it's interesting. I don't doubt that he could
- 58:06Speaker 7: be the one, but he's treating me more like a roommate.
- 58:10Speaker 7: I sometimes lie in the guest room and wonder why
- 58:12Speaker 7: he's not trying to sneak in and make love to me.
- 58:16Speaker 7: We have done it a few times and it's really good,
- 58:19Speaker 7: but it's like he's rationing it out. Is this a
- 58:22Speaker 7: good thing?
- 58:22Speaker 1: Or is this weird to you?
- 58:24Speaker 7: I want to know what he's doing in the other
- 58:27Speaker 7: bedroom at night. How do I get him to open
- 58:30Speaker 7: up to me? Okay, I think this is a little weird.
- 58:33Speaker 2: I really do. You don't think so?
- 58:36Speaker 7: I mean, who basically orders someone to pack snacks because
- 58:39Speaker 7: they're not going back to their own home?
- 58:42Speaker 2: Is that what you want?
- 58:44Speaker 7: It just doesn't sound like that's what you want to me.
- 58:46Speaker 7: I think he has pretty much kidnapped you. That's what
- 58:49Speaker 7: it sounds like. For lack of a better term, I
- 58:52Speaker 7: think it's all because he's uncomfortable, very uncomfortable being by himself,
- 58:57Speaker 7: and that's why he's not bothering you at night or anytime,
- 59:00Speaker 7: because he just needs a body in the house with him.
- 59:04Speaker 2: But you do know that you can go home at
- 59:06Speaker 2: any time, right?
- 59:07Speaker 5: You do know this?
- 59:09Speaker 1: He says. It's a trial.
- 59:11Speaker 7: Period to see if you guys are compatible when you ask,
- 59:14Speaker 7: but what is this trial period for? I mean, is
- 59:17Speaker 7: it for marriage? Are you trying to be in a
- 59:20Speaker 7: serious relationship? It sounds like he just wants you as
- 59:25Speaker 7: a roommate. You said that yourself, But again, what do
- 59:29Speaker 7: you want? And you should have a say in how
- 59:32Speaker 7: long you want this trial to go on. You don't
- 59:34Speaker 7: just have to ask him and get his answer. And
- 59:37Speaker 7: if you want to continue to participate in this so
- 59:41Speaker 7: called trial period, you should have an opinion on that.
- 59:45Speaker 7: In other words, this should have been a joint decision.
- 59:48Speaker 7: Tell him you're going home, and that you want to
- 59:50Speaker 7: go home and see what he says and how he acts.
- 59:53Speaker 7: If he throws a fit or doesn't want to take you, Yeah,
- 59:56Speaker 7: he's crazy and you need to leave ASA. I just
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: think you need to think about what you want and
- 1:00:03Speaker 7: only you can determine that if you want to leave,
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: leave Steve.
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: I want to say something about Pete. People ask me
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: all the time, Steve, y'all be writing strawberry letters? Y'allself?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Who still can do this? Right here?
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: Ooh?
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: Who you know can think of this right here? These
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: just people with real life, real situation. I'll be just
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: as stunned as y'all are me and Surety and these
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: nuns and we'll be going.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: What the hell? No, I'm pack a bag and a
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: snack because you ain't going back, okay.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: Now, come to find out later in the letter that
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: this woman is thirty four to dude thirty nine. Now
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: you're dating this new guy that's really crazy about you,
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: or he's Craig Cray in real life.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: He can't get enough time with me. He wants to
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: be in your face. Twenty four seven.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: He was married eight years. Said he can't live without companionship.
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Now this is a fact. He cannot live with our companionship.
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: Now listen to me. Now, I think he's going to
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: prove to you that he is needy.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: This man is needy.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Now, when a man tell you he can't live with
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: our companion, he can't be alone. I can't stand to
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: be by myself. Get you, that's one red flag, red
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: flag stuck in the ground. Now what you're doing with
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: these red flag is you're collecting them. You picking them up,
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: putting them in the back seat of your car, steady
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: riding with him. But that was the first red flag.
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: His house forty five minutes from mine, so when we
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: go on dates, he just sleeps in my guest room
- 1:01:30Speaker 6: or I sleep in his, depending on who's there. We
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: spend time in a work from house, so I'm always
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: able to work from home. Two weeks ago, y'all got
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: invited to a white party. He said, pack a bag
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: and a snack because you ain't going back. Really, what
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: what the hell you mean?
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Now?
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: You ain't.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: You ain't asked no questions right there, right there, You
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: ain't saying, wait, minue, what you mean I ain't going back.
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: I got a house, I got plants, I got a life.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: I'm paying rent or whatever you're doing. I need to
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: know you didn't get nothing. Yo, dumb packed a bag
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: and got some snack and.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Went on over there.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: She's a hostage.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: All right, hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: Today's strawberry letter subjects, pack a bag and a snack
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: because you ain't going back. We'll get back into it
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:02:30Speaker 7: come on, let's up recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is,
- 1:02:33Speaker 7: pack a bag and a snack because you ain't going back.
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: Thirty four year old woman dating this guy that's thirty nine.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: She thinks he's really the great guy. He's crazy, why
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: because he wants to be in her face. Twenty four
- 1:02:45Speaker 6: to seventy man was married for eight years and told
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: her I couldnot live without companionship. Well, I remember now
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: he told that to somebody else too, because he was
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: married for eight years. Now he might not be able
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: to live with companionship, but somebody show decided he wasn't
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: a companion that she wanted to continue to ship with.
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: So now obviously this ship don't sail the right way.
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: Now he told you he can't live without companionship. That's
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: a red flag. Ladies, instead of collecting red flags, drive
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: over them. You don't put this red flag in your
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: back seat. And you kept riding. He forty five minutes
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: from your house, you forty five minutes from his. So
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: when y'all go out on dates, you spend the night
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: in his guest room and he stay in your guest room,
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: depending on where y'all spent the time at You work
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: from home, so you can work from his house. Two
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: weeks ago, he invited you to a white party. And
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: then he told you, he said, pack a bag and
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: a snack, cause you ain't going back.
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: You are.
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: And voluntary experimental roommate. You are a voluntary experimental roommate.
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: He was joking. He wasn't joking. And I've been in
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: this house for two weeks. He drove you home, picked
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: up some clothes and water. Your players, had to get
- 1:04:20Speaker 6: my mail stopped, and everything you had to or you
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: wanted to see ain't.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Nobody got a gun to your head.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: So what you're not gonna do is blame this letter
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: on him being Craig Craig, because right now he'd have
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: told you what to do, and Yo, dummit is doing
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: it all. You stopped your mail. He fixed up his
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: guest room for me. He bought all your favorite snacks.
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: I think he might really like me because he don't
- 1:04:48Speaker 6: pressure me for sex, and he lets me sleep peacefully
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: in my own room. He cooks breakfast most of the time,
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: and we've been cooking dinner together. The question I've been
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: asking him is where is this going? And he can't
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: give me a straight answer. Right there. You should have
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: took your back home, I asked him in the first place,
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: because that pack your bag and a snack because you
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: ain't going back now, you canna stop your mail. You
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: over that water and your plans, trying to make sure
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: they still living, and you over there working from his house.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: Y'all playing husband and wife, but you ain't husband and wife.
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: Y'all playing house, but y'all don't really live together because
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: you got another house.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Where is this going? Everybody listening to this woman.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: Know he says this is a trial here to see
- 1:05:42Speaker 6: if we are compatible. I'm thirty four and he's thirty nine,
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: and were still in our prime. So the fact that
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: he's locked in on me so quickly, it's interesting. See, lady,
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: this dude he the one. In your mind, he is
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: the one, because you're doing all the things he asking
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: you to do, so you can lock him in. And
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: he bene locked in on you, and you like it.
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: You ain't never been treated this way, so you like it.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: Now I've been asking him where this is going, and
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: he can't give me a straight answer. So now you're
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: involved in an experiment that you don't know what the
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: experiment is hoping to accomplishment. You don't know what he's
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: trying to accomplish. So you got an experiment, and you
- 1:06:30Speaker 6: don't know what he's trying. What are we what conclusion
- 1:06:36Speaker 6: are we trying to reach. That's what an experiment is for.
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: Somebody's trying to cure something. Somebody's trying to find an
- 1:06:43Speaker 6: answer to something. Somebody trying to find a shorter way.
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: Like when I'm out at the ranch, I might cut
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: through another trail and see.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Where it go. Okay, well that's an experiment. But he's
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: treated me more like a roommate.
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: I sometimes lie in the guest room and wonder why
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: he's not trying to sneak in and make love to me. Well,
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: I said, I'm curious about this money, because I'm telling
- 1:07:14Speaker 6: right now, I'll be wearing your have to death.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I would be wearing you have to death. I'll be
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: army crawling.
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: I open your doughknob from the stomach position, and army
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: crawl to the bed. You look up at the foot
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: of the bed, all you see his eyes and the
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: ball head. I'll be down there and wait. I'll be
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: wearing your task to death. I sometimes lying the guest
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: room and wonder why he ain't trying to sneak in
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: and make love to me.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: We've done it a few times and it's really good.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: But it's like he rationing it out. Is it a
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: good thing? Or is it weird to you? How the
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: hell is a good thing to you?
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: Weird man? All this nutty mess he doing? I want
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: to know what he's doing in the other room and
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: mother bedroom at night?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: In now right?
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Go it?
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: Hey?
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Hey, what's all that out here? Open this dough?
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: How do I get him to open up to you?
- 1:08:15Speaker 6: If you want a man to open up to you,
- 1:08:17Speaker 6: close yourself off to him. Me and a real easy
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: How do I get him to open up to me?
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: Hell?
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: You doing everything he tell you to do?
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: See you never thought about being in lucid ever.

- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I don't know where the rule came from anybody.

- 1:09:34Speaker 6: be talking about.
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: Girl. First of all, this is what you need. A
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: half a cup of apple side of vinegar. Okay, you

- 1:09:58Speaker 6: easy teaspoon a garlic powder, got it. You need seven
- 1:10:03Speaker 6: tea spoons A brown cane raw sugar, all right, Not that,
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: not that brown sugar that's matted together in the bag.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: You want cane sugar crystallized. So you want seven teaspoons

- 1:13:12Speaker 2: You're listening to the Steed Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: All right, guys, Americans spend ninety two percent of their
- 1:13:23Speaker 7: time inside these days. But something called the mature or
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: the nature pyramid can help us get outside more. Okay,
- 1:13:32Speaker 7: it's like the food pyramid, but it recommends how much
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: time we should be spending in nature to reduce stress
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: and boost our happiness. The twenty five to three rule
- 1:13:42Speaker 7: for the nature pyramid says we need twenty minutes outside
- 1:13:46Speaker 7: like in a park, three times a week. We need
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: five hours a month in semi wild nature like a
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: a what a forest, a state park, and then three
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: days a year off the grid in nature like camping.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Really that is never. I never say never, but I
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: will never go.
- 1:14:10Speaker 6: Camp three days a month.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Off degree.
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: In nature just where it's like camping wilderness way out
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: in the middle.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Of no take a break.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: Yeah okay the wounds, yeah no, no, no for camping.
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: For camping, Steve, it's three days a year or camping.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Okay, three days a year.
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: What y'all talking about?
- 1:14:41Speaker 7: Five hours a month in semi wild nature like a forest,
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: state park.
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Okay, you're back to the Dallas five hours.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: A month, five hours a month. That's all.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: That's I'm just walking right lot. Yeah, little Dell on
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: my herbology.
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: He up in there now, he's on the video everything.
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: He's all up in blue reads. Steve got yeah, excuse me,
- 1:15:13Speaker 6: I have a job. He texted me once a week. Here.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: You gotta hear some of these trail I like, I
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: can hurt my uh uh.
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: I got what they call that all bunder foot plaster
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: flighters something. Oh God, plan to.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Fascius, plan to fascian Ius. I've had that twice in
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: my life.
- 1:15:40Speaker 6: Very very painful, I know.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I can I can't see it. I know, I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: ain't planter plan to flatchy iris flats, but you step on.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Plants, see right there, that's why we flay.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Strange. If you strain the tendon, it's a under your heel.
- 1:16:06Speaker 7: Yeah, and it says yeah, and that is a connective
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: tissue which supports the arch.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: Of the foot. And when you strain that muscle right there, brother,
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: you have a serious problem. I've had it twice.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: Pain in the heel and in the bottom of the
- 1:16:23Speaker 7: foot that is usually most severe with the first steps
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: of the day.
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: Oh God, in the morning. Man, I've gotten out the
- 1:16:30Speaker 6: bed and it dropped to my knees with this pain. Yeah,
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: and you know, and then you warm it up and
- 1:16:36Speaker 6: you get better with it. But you got to be
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: but it's just a pain, and it takes a couple
- 1:16:41Speaker 6: of months to get rid of it.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I had it comes on gradually and it affects both
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: feet in.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: About it sounds like we don't need to go out there.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: What it sound like?
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: Yeah for us, what I had to do is you
- 1:16:59Speaker 6: got to learn how to stretch before you get into
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: strenuous exercise.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: Well, if you're gonna be walking up steep hills and
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: everything like that. You gotta stretch your calves out really good.
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: Stretch your tendons on the back of your achilles, get
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: them nice and stretched.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: There's some stretches I had to learn how to do.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: So when I go up and I'm trying to walk
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: on my toes and climb up the trails, I don't.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: I don't stretch that tendon. How long is a hike though?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: A couple hours? Two hours?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: You're into camping at all?
- 1:17:35Speaker 6: Do you like to? I used to, not not anymore.
- 1:17:38Speaker 6: I found out what luxury camps is like and cut
- 1:17:43Speaker 6: all that to put your hand up under your knee squad.
- 1:17:53Speaker 7: Stew. Minutes after right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:17:57Speaker 7: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here's a quick
- 1:18:04Speaker 7: question for you. If you earned ten thousand dollars per
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: hour and not ever talk to your relatives again, would
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: you take the money if you could earn that. If
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: you could earn ten thousand dollars, not every enough per minute,
- 1:18:21Speaker 7: don't need that.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: What I'm making that often enough?
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: Thank you?
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: Ten thousand an hour, yeah, not ever talk to your
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: relatives again? Would you take it?
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: I don't think so. I got to talk to my mom. Yeah, Steve,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: there's no way I could do that.
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: Now, guys, that is one point six million dollars a

- 1:18:55Speaker 7: one point six million dollars a month. See, I saw
- 1:19:01Speaker 7: your eyebrows raise.
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Okay, so what is that? One point six times?
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: If you were shop need to do twelve is twelve million,
- 1:19:10Speaker 6: six hundred thousand one point plus per hour, six million
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: plus another two one point two one point two. You're
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: looking at six seven two. You're looking at what how much?
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: Nineteen million? Oh?
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: Yeah, oh with mek Yeah, that's just me at the talk.
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, thanks guys, we'll have more of Steve.

- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Coming out?
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: Would you rather?
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: Right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: Time now for a round of would you rather? Would
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: you rather stay the age you are physically forever? Or
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: would you rather stay the way you are now financially forever?
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: B B the age you are physically or the way
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: you are financially be I won't.
- 1:20:14Speaker 6: Stick with I'd like to stay with age, keep keep
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: my health where it is right now. Yeah, I keep that. Yeah,
- 1:20:21Speaker 6: that's more important than money late.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Night menus, I'm not doing it.
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: Would you rather be a world but if your plan
- 1:20:33Speaker 6: is to make more money anyway and you could stay
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: right where you at physically without aging, now I'm gonna
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: take that though.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: Okay, time to dollar fries. That is what I'm talking

- 1:21:00Speaker 6: I know? Goodn't hell?
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Well Forsta Turner, don't look nothing like that.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: High school crush.
- 1:21:08Speaker 6: They jammed all up in that corner in that shower.
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: There ain't no water getting on me.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm going down.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: For a water at it's back. It's up here, baby. No,
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure I ain't seen I don't know. I
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: ain't seen it since I ain't seen it since.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Wow, it's probably high school.
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: But I that you.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: If I saw, I would on the reunions.
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: Would you rather bring food into the bedroom or would
- 1:21:42Speaker 7: you rather bring pop props into the bedroom?
- 1:21:45Speaker 5: Props? I don't like the crop. Yeah, I would go
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: with the food. There's too much so there's too many motives.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: And stuff going. I don't know.
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: Yes, I ain't never need it all all that. No,
- 1:22:02Speaker 6: because what I can't hear somebody be talking about something
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: your turn?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: What I can't do? What the motor do? What you're
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: doing with this ninety three octane in him? She got

- 1:22:26Speaker 1: We were talking horsepower. Yeah, you got going on.
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: Would you rather be with a jealous, hard working spouse
- 1:22:36Speaker 7: or would you rather be with a lazy but trusting spouse.
- 1:22:39Speaker 5: I'm gonna take her lazy to deal with. I don't
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: I ain't got tap of that jealous spoff lay it
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: up and won't do it.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I'm cool.
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: I can have that all right, Thanks guys. That's today's round.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: Would you rather be real fine to get that last one?
- 1:22:57Speaker 2: Coming up?
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: It's the last break of the day, and we'll have
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: some closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: right after this.
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: It is she Steve Harbin, Marty shaw Man. Men that
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: wear thongs don't pay money back. Thro wearing men do
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: not pay money back. I don't know, it's just a rule.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I don't know where the rule came from.
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: Anybody I know where throne don't pay money back, and
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: men who wear throngs that think they sexy, it's usually
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: not thong and don't even go in the same.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: You have a throng on and all they see is
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: the love V in the front coming up right after you.
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: It'ster Steve Harbin, Marty shaw Man. I love the fact
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: that God is who he is. God is everything. He's
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: all powerful, all knowing, all seen, all failing, all doing,
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: all knowing. Whatever you need, God got it. You have
- 1:24:05Speaker 6: got to have a relationship with him. He is the
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: one entity that is ever present at all times.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: Here we are last break of the day. We want
- 1:24:19Speaker 7: to say thank you Steve Harvey Nation for listening every day.
- 1:24:22Speaker 7: We appreciate your business so much. Thank you, Steve.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: You have some closing words for us.
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: You know what again, I like to use things that
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: are happening to me in my life to encourage people
- 1:24:36Speaker 6: that might be going through some of the same things
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: in theirs. It's just a couple of piece of encouragements
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: I got this week. So many people have reached out
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: to me man giving me love. It's far always anything
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: else that's going on in my life. I'm actually surrounded
- 1:24:54Speaker 6: by a lot of love and prayers, and I'm actually,
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: actually really.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Not even privy to a lot.
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: Of the swirl that goes around me. Like I was
- 1:25:04Speaker 6: saying the other day, God's peace keeps me in the
- 1:25:08Speaker 6: center of the hurricane. And I do understand that there's
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: a swirl going on out there, but it's none of
- 1:25:14Speaker 6: my business. I can't stop the swirl, but I cannot
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: participate in the swirl. And by neither participating in it
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: nor acknowledging it it, it has no room with me.
- 1:25:28Speaker 6: If you stay the center of the hurricane and the
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: swirl is going around you, if you gonna stay, if
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: you don't step out into the swirl, you stay in
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: the center. It's peaceful in the eye of the hurricane.
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: The problem is when you get caught up in the swirld.
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: A couple of people sent me something. I'm gonna share
- 1:25:45Speaker 6: a couple of them with you.
- 1:25:48Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: You talk about people in your life that you need
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: to kind of get rid of. Somebody sent this to me, says,
- 1:25:53Speaker 6: sometimes people have to be escorted out of the VIP
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: section in your life and you just have to put
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: them in regular seats. Sometimes people have to be escorted
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: out the VIP section of your life, and.
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: You just have to put them in some regular seats.
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: Sometimes we place too much importance on people, period, and
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: we give so much people so much importance that they
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: now have a say so, they have authority, they got ruled,
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: they get comfortable. All of a sudden, they in a
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: position and they don't really even really mean us no good.
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: So now here they are they in your life? You
- 1:26:36Speaker 6: done gave them permission to sit in the VIP section.
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: But you know, sometimes you need to escort them out.
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: You say, you know what, you're no longer welcome in
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: the VIP section. You could take a seat right over here.
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: Those are the only seats that's available. I got the
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: view ain't that good from over here, But those are
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: the only seats that's available in my arena. As a
- 1:26:56Speaker 6: matter of fact, security, could you escort them out?
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: Please?
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: See what I don't do is but I can't stop
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: some people. I just I let people sit up in
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: the stands and say what they want to say because
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: they're not on my stage in my life. You're not
- 1:27:14Speaker 6: on the same stage I'm on. So why do I
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: allow your insults from in back of the room that
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: I can't hardly nobody here but you and your little
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: fourteen followers. So I've learned that that the credit belongs
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: to the man who is actually in the arena, whose
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: face is marred with dust, blood, sweating tears, not to
- 1:27:36Speaker 6: those cold and timid souls in the stands who know
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: neither victory nor defeat. I live like that, all right.
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: Next thing I'm gonna share with you, I'm gonna share
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: with you something about somebody told me about trusting in God.
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: And this is what they sent me. And this is
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: really nice, and it says I ask for stret and
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: God gave me difficulties to make me strong. I asked
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: for wisdom and God gave me problems to solve. I
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: asked for prosperity, and God gave me brain and brawn
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: to work. I asked for courage, and God gave me
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: danger to overcome. I asked for love, and God gave
- 1:28:32Speaker 6: me troubled people to help. I asked for favors and
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: God gave me opportunities. I've received nothing I wanted. I
- 1:28:48Speaker 6: received everything I needed.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: Trust in God.
- 1:28:55Speaker 6: Do you know how rich those words were to me
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: today that someone sent to me, Because what that says
- 1:29:03Speaker 6: to me, was Steve, you gotta trust the process, man,
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: I don't care how it looks.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: What you're asking for. God is working on.
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: On your behalf. Now, it might not look that good
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: to some people. It might not even look that good
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: to you. I would imagine those on the outside looking
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: in this look kind of crazy. But you have no
- 1:29:28Speaker 6: idea the way God is working. So when you ask
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: God for strength, and then God give you a bunch
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: of difficulties, guess what to make you stronger? So you
- 1:29:37Speaker 6: ask God for wisdom and God give you problems to solve.
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: You asking for prosperity. God give you a brain and
- 1:29:44Speaker 6: some broad to go to work. I asked for courage
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: and God gave me danger to overcome.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: I asked for.
- 1:29:51Speaker 6: Love, and God turned around and gave me troubled people
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: to hell.
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: What is this?
- 1:29:55Speaker 6: I ask for favors and God turn around give me opportunities.
- 1:29:59Speaker 6: I've received nothing I wanted, but I received everything I needed.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: You got to trust in God, man, You got to
- 1:30:08Speaker 6: trust in the process. Y'all. We are all in the
