- 2:05Speaker 8: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, digny
- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey Man oh Man got a
- 2:13Speaker 8: radio show. The only way to find your real purpose,
- 2:17Speaker 8: your real mission in life.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You're real what for?
- 2:20Speaker 8: The thing that you got to go get it get
- 2:22Speaker 8: after is you got to connect with God. You have
- 2:26Speaker 8: to connect with him because as your creator, no one
- 2:29Speaker 8: knows better what you were made for than your maker.
- 2:33Speaker 8: I mean not just I mean, man, you just make
- 2:39Speaker 8: a lot of common sense, don't it. I mean really,
- 2:43Speaker 8: you know, people kill me with the lack of belief.
- 2:50Speaker 8: I think that science is very real. I think that
- 2:53Speaker 8: science is very applicable. I think that science helps us
- 2:58Speaker 8: learn so many things. But science ain't everything. Now you
- 3:04Speaker 8: might as well under that there's some unexplainables that science
- 3:08Speaker 8: can't wrap their mind around. So here they go with
- 3:11Speaker 8: something else, and then you got the nay sayers who
- 3:14Speaker 8: use that, the non believers who use that as the
- 3:17Speaker 8: proof that there is no high calling on how being.
- 3:20Speaker 8: And I listen to me, I don't really into explaining
- 3:25Speaker 8: all that a way. If that's how you feel, then
- 3:27Speaker 8: gone and get the feeling how you feeling with it.
- 3:29Speaker 8: But let me explain something to you. I just don't
- 3:31Speaker 8: see how God is really almost unexplainable to me. So
- 3:37Speaker 8: really for me to sit here and try to explain,
- 3:39Speaker 8: I'm really not that good of a guy, you know
- 3:41Speaker 8: what I mean, I'm not that person. So let me
- 3:44Speaker 8: try to give you something real here. Okay, So this
- 3:46Speaker 8: we done. Just had that moment. I had to get
- 3:48Speaker 8: that off my chest.
- 3:50Speaker 2: I want, I want.
- 3:50Speaker 8: I want to share something with you about when you
- 3:54Speaker 8: strike out to find your mission, or how about when
- 3:59Speaker 8: you strike out on your mission once you discover what
- 4:04Speaker 8: your purpose is, or let's simplify, what happens when you
- 4:11Speaker 8: set a goal and you're ready to strike out on
- 4:15Speaker 8: that goal. What happens when you set an ambition in
- 4:21Speaker 8: front of you or put something in your sights that
- 4:23Speaker 8: you want to attain, that you want to become successful at.
- 4:27Speaker 8: What's the mind set that you have to develop. There
- 4:32Speaker 8: are three things you must first ask, You must then believe,
- 4:42Speaker 8: and you must then receive.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Now the received part, all these parts.
- 4:47Speaker 8: Iss got a thing to it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You gotta ask. You just got to ask for it.
- 4:54Speaker 8: You know you've heard the scripture before, you have not
- 4:57Speaker 8: because you ask not Why don't you ask? But then
- 5:01Speaker 8: after you ask, here's the kick. You got to believe
- 5:05Speaker 8: that it can happen for you. Stop looking at the
- 5:09Speaker 8: success of other people and not thinking that that same
- 5:12Speaker 8: success can happen for you. Then I'm not saying that
- 5:15Speaker 8: Pacific waste specific weight. I'm just saying that a success
- 5:20Speaker 8: can happen for you, just like it.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Can happen for somebody else.
- 5:24Speaker 8: Why do you think it keeps happening to other people
- 5:26Speaker 8: over and over because they ask and they believe.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Now here's the cold part. Receive it? Oh what you mean?
- 5:36Speaker 8: Receive it? I ask for it, I believe in it.
- 5:38Speaker 8: Why would I not want to receive it? Act like it,
- 5:43Speaker 8: Act like it's already there. Behaviors though you have it
- 5:49Speaker 8: in your hands, Smile about it realize that man is
- 5:56Speaker 8: just days away, and how many of a days that is?
- 6:01Speaker 8: If it's days away, it's just days away. We don't
- 6:05Speaker 8: know if it's gonna happen tomorrow, next week, in thirty days.
- 6:09Speaker 8: We don't know if it's gonna take a few years.
- 6:13Speaker 8: But you got to receive it though. You gotta ask,
- 6:17Speaker 8: You got to believe, and you got to receive it.
- 6:21Speaker 8: You gotta act as though as that Now as another
- 6:23Speaker 8: part now to this about work, you don't please.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Faith with our works is dead.
- 6:28Speaker 8: Don't think you're gonna just ask for something believing and
- 6:30Speaker 8: then go sit down, start watching TV.
- 6:32Speaker 9: Come on, now, let's get real.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Let's not leave out the other jewel. You got to work.
- 6:38Speaker 1: But now.
- 6:41Speaker 8: Here hear what I want you to know about when
- 6:43Speaker 8: you strike out on that mission, that the journey that
- 6:48Speaker 8: you strike out on to accomplish a goal or to
- 6:52Speaker 8: set out on the mission, the journey, if you could
- 6:56Speaker 8: understand this, or to help you so much, the journey
- 6:59Speaker 8: is a process. It's not an arrival date. It's a process.
- 7:06Speaker 8: All you're looking to do, folks, is start the process.
- 7:13Speaker 8: Get it started. Don't worry about the arrival date. Act
- 7:18Speaker 8: like it's there. The arrival date is coming. But here
- 7:24Speaker 8: is the beauty of the journey being a process. But
- 7:30Speaker 8: all along the way of your journey you will find
- 7:34Speaker 8: success the whole time you're on the journey, The whole
- 7:41Speaker 8: time you're in the process of finding your mission, fulfilling
- 7:45Speaker 8: your mission, uncovering your.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Dreams, reaching your goals.
- 7:49Speaker 8: The beauty of it is all along the way you're
- 7:52Speaker 8: going to find success.
- 7:55Speaker 1: On so many levels. And people fail to look at
- 7:59Speaker 1: that part.
- 8:00Speaker 8: They keep thinking of themselves, Man, I ain't there yet,
- 8:04Speaker 8: I ain't you know. It's like when you take a
- 8:06Speaker 8: little kid on a long car tripping there in the
- 8:08Speaker 8: back seat.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
- 8:11Speaker 9: Boy?
- 8:11Speaker 8: If you just look out the window, see where we've
- 8:15Speaker 8: done being Look out the window, look at the mountains,
- 8:19Speaker 8: Look at these.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Trees, look at the views we got.
- 8:23Speaker 8: No, we ain't there yet, But Lord have mercy, look
- 8:26Speaker 8: at what he's showing us along the way. Smell the roses,
- 8:32Speaker 8: have yourself a cup of coffee, chill every now and then,
- 8:37Speaker 8: and see what he's doing for you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Because the journey is a process.
- 8:42Speaker 8: But man, know that in the process of arriving at
- 8:45Speaker 8: your designated gold dream, ambition, or mission, understand this that
- 8:51Speaker 8: the journey is a process. But all along the way
- 8:54Speaker 8: you'll find success. That are things that are going to
- 8:57Speaker 8: happen to you along the way, Man, that will be
- 9:00Speaker 8: so gratifying and fulfilling. Where the journey is joyful, there
- 9:06Speaker 8: is joy in the journey. You don't have to be
- 9:11Speaker 8: there to appreciate the ride. Appreciate the journey and the process.
- 9:18Speaker 8: Stop getting mad because you ain't at the arrival dat
- 9:21Speaker 8: or your dreams ain't come true yet.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Look up, Look up? You might discover, man, that you
- 9:27Speaker 1: living better.
- 9:28Speaker 8: You might discover that you don't have a million yet,
- 9:31Speaker 8: but you'd have made a quarter of a million? What
- 9:32Speaker 8: you tripping for because you ain't got the million yet?
- 9:35Speaker 8: Remember when you didn't have nothing? Be grateful for the
- 9:38Speaker 8: two hundred and fifty thousand dollars mark, the one hundred
- 9:42Speaker 8: thousand dollars mark, the three hundred and twenty two thousand
- 9:45Speaker 8: dollars mark. Don't you understand, man, you may not be
- 9:49Speaker 8: where you wanna be, But man, can't you thank God
- 9:51Speaker 8: that you ain't.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Where you was? How about that? One? Huh?
- 9:56Speaker 4: All right here listening, it's a the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 10:11Speaker 8: So listen, everybody, start with gratitude. It changes your attitude
- 10:16Speaker 8: and that produces entirely different altitude. Oh man, it's all
- 10:20Speaker 8: about the tood this morning. Baby, it's the three tooths
- 10:24Speaker 8: gratitude attitude altitude.
- 10:26Speaker 9: Yeah, I just made that up. I'm gonna put that
- 10:29Speaker 9: on a T shirt. No I'm not.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Please, don't nobody do that.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Make up your mind with it or not?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but nah, just out there.
- 10:41Speaker 10: No.
- 10:41Speaker 8: I did that once before. Man, I did something and
- 10:44Speaker 8: somebody stole the domains. Soon as I said it, dot
- 10:48Speaker 8: Com end up having to pay them five thousand to
- 10:50Speaker 8: get it back.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Wow.
- 10:53Speaker 8: So I said, Okay, ain't no problem. Bet it won't
- 10:55Speaker 8: happen again. They took right, They took that.
- 11:02Speaker 2: No good.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Hell well they didn't think of that. Yep.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Me and Tommy tried to get that. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:08Speaker 8: Shirley Strawberry calling for real. Mississippi Monica killed Space better
- 11:13Speaker 8: known as Junior and the legendary is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:16Speaker 1: We are here, junior, what's on your mind? Let me
- 11:19Speaker 1: tell you this, unc man.
- 11:20Speaker 11: You highly successful, You've had a storied life, You've been
- 11:24Speaker 11: in it everywhere around the world, faithful, Like what is
- 11:28Speaker 11: your drive now?
- 11:29Speaker 10: Like?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Why do you keep doing it?
- 11:32Speaker 10: Well?
- 11:33Speaker 1: You know?
- 11:33Speaker 9: To be honest, man, it's a couple of things.
- 11:36Speaker 8: First of all, I think I've been so blessed that
- 11:42Speaker 8: the work that I do doesn't really feel like work now.
- 11:48Speaker 8: It's challenging to do at times, as is everybody's job.
- 11:52Speaker 8: There are some things about it that's not pleasant, and
- 11:55Speaker 8: it requires a discipline to do our job, to be
- 11:58Speaker 8: on time, to get up every morning, to be cheerful
- 12:01Speaker 8: even if you're having a bad day or something goes wrong.
- 12:04Speaker 8: But I've been very blessed in that my work is
- 12:08Speaker 8: actually my passion, So that's a big part of it. Secondly,
- 12:14Speaker 8: I'm working on my legacy, which as when the Lord
- 12:19Speaker 8: does call me home, I'm working on what they will
- 12:24Speaker 8: say and remember about me. And I'm telling you right
- 12:28Speaker 8: now has nothing to do with comedy. And then thirdly,
- 12:33Speaker 8: if Marjorie could just stop shopping.
- 12:37Speaker 1: That's never gonna happen.
- 12:42Speaker 8: I could, you know, at least look at some type
- 12:46Speaker 8: of out day, and it ain't really her.
- 12:56Speaker 9: That's just her, you know, it's it's really them.
- 12:59Speaker 8: You know when you have kids, man, and you're they
- 13:02Speaker 8: out the house and you think they gone, they don't.
- 13:05Speaker 1: They ain't gone.
- 13:08Speaker 8: They still need help and they still have request of you.
- 13:12Speaker 8: And these requests ain't simple no more. Ain't no Can
- 13:15Speaker 8: I use the car? Can I go over so and
- 13:17Speaker 8: so house? It ain't that no more. It's wade big
- 13:20Speaker 8: a request.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Help me with my business? No, ain'tybody help me with mine?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Help me with your Hell?
- 13:31Speaker 12: No, all right, don't stop shopping, Marjorie, keep it going,
- 13:37Speaker 12: girl coming up next to his a nephew and run
- 13:39Speaker 12: that prank back right after this.
- 13:41Speaker 4: You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 13:47Speaker 13: Hey, it's Carla Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside?
- 13:51Speaker 13: Are you ready for a mop.
- 13:52Speaker 4: And bucket clean?
- 13:53Speaker 13: And half the time make the swap to swipper power
- 13:57Speaker 13: mop the only one. Cleaning Hero has a builtiness solution
- 14:00Speaker 13: that breaks down dirt and grind like magic.

- 14:20Speaker 12: frank back. Nephew, what's on the menu?
- 14:23Speaker 6: What you got this right here, Shirley? Is lunchtime date?

- 15:13Speaker 10: is cool with the job. This right here, man, is
- 15:16Speaker 10: like what I noticed, man, And it's you know, it
- 15:18Speaker 10: just seems like every single day, you know, while she's
- 15:21Speaker 10: on her lunch break, it seems like you know, you
- 15:24Speaker 10: would call and and and uh and then blocked off
- 15:27Speaker 10: the whole hour of her lunch break. And actually, you know,
- 15:31Speaker 10: just be real, man, I'm just trying to come correct

- 56:07Speaker 12: just like we're gonna read this one right here, right now.
- 56:10Speaker 6: Okay, cool, we should do naked radio, all right. Buccle up,
- 56:14Speaker 6: Hold on tight, We got it for you here.
- 56:16Speaker 4: It is a letter subject. He took it out at
- 56:20Speaker 4: the dinner table.
- 56:21Speaker 10: Uh.
- 56:22Speaker 12: Dear Stephen Shirley, my friend hooked me up with a
- 56:25Speaker 12: great guy. And before I met him, we had great
- 56:28Speaker 12: conversation and he seemed to be a cool guy. He
- 56:31Speaker 12: sent me a picture of himself and I sent him
- 56:33Speaker 12: a picture too. He had a beautiful smile, and I
- 56:36Speaker 12: commented that he had perfect teeth.
- 56:39Speaker 4: He told me that he had false teeth.
- 56:41Speaker 12: I asked him why he chose false teeth over implant,
- 56:44Speaker 12: and he said that implants were too expensive.
- 56:47Speaker 4: It was no biggie, so we continued to get to
- 56:50Speaker 4: know each other.
- 56:51Speaker 12: After two weeks, we went out on our first date
- 56:55Speaker 12: to a very nice restaurant for dinner.
- 56:58Speaker 4: I was so glad to finally meet him. We ordered
- 57:01Speaker 4: our food and started.
- 57:02Speaker 12: Eating, and the conversation was so good that I didn't
- 57:06Speaker 12: realize he had taken his entire top row of teeth out.
- 57:12Speaker 12: He saw how I was looking at him, and he said, see,
- 57:15Speaker 12: you can't even tell when I take my teeth out.
- 57:17Speaker 1: I look the same.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Wait, there's more.
- 57:22Speaker 12: I was at a loss for words. His teeth were
- 57:25Speaker 12: in a container beside his plate, and he was just.
- 57:28Speaker 4: Eating and talking like all.
- 57:30Speaker 10: Of this was okay.
- 57:32Speaker 4: I had lost my appetite.
- 57:35Speaker 12: I know being single can be lonely, but there is
- 57:37Speaker 12: no way I can be seen with this bald mouth man.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Steven Shirley.
- 57:42Speaker 12: I do not have a problem at all with false teeth,
- 57:45Speaker 12: but you can't just take them out on the first.
- 57:47Speaker 4: Date and not let me know first after the date.
- 57:51Speaker 12: After the date, I called a friend that set us
- 57:53Speaker 12: up and told her that his teeth were a deal breaker,
- 57:57Speaker 12: oh and his lack of table manners. Said that I
- 58:00Speaker 12: was being bougie and I have to be more open
- 58:03Speaker 12: minded and willing to work with some men to turn
- 58:06Speaker 12: them into the ideal man.
- 58:08Speaker 4: I beg to differ.
- 58:09Speaker 12: But maybe I'm being too insensitive. Maybe I'm being insensitive.
- 58:13Speaker 4: What do you think? Hey, listen, miss bougie. I'm with
- 58:17Speaker 4: you all day.
- 58:18Speaker 1: Okay.
- 58:19Speaker 12: Manners are important, hygiene is important, and taking your teeth
- 58:23Speaker 12: out at the dinner table it's very unhygienic. It's unacceptable, okay.
- 58:28Speaker 12: I mean, it's one thing to have dentures, but leave
- 58:32Speaker 12: them in your mouth. How about that take them out
- 58:34Speaker 12: at home at night and put them in the container
- 58:37Speaker 12: and then put that container on the nightstand like normal
- 58:40Speaker 12: people do who have dentures and false teeth. I don't
- 58:44Speaker 12: agree with your friend about you being bougie. It's okay
- 58:47Speaker 12: to like what you like and not like the fact
- 58:49Speaker 12: that he had dentures and took him out at the
- 58:51Speaker 12: dinner table. That's ridiculous, since that I'm an container next
- 58:55Speaker 12: to a plate at a very nice restaurant.
- 58:58Speaker 4: You're single here, not okay? And you don't have to
- 59:02Speaker 4: settle no matter what your friend says. All right, Steve,
- 59:07Speaker 4: that's it for me.
- 59:08Speaker 8: Well, very good answer, Shirley. I agree with everything you said,
- 59:13Speaker 8: but let me go at it from this here right here.
- 59:16Speaker 8: Went out on the date with this man you've been talking,
- 59:18Speaker 8: and y'all sent a picture, and you told the man, boy,
- 59:20Speaker 8: you got you got your teeth. Look, you got a
- 59:24Speaker 8: beautiful smile, and you got perfect teeth. Then he, right
- 59:29Speaker 8: off the dribber, told you he had false teeth. I
- 59:32Speaker 8: asked him why he chose false teeth over implants. He
- 59:36Speaker 8: said the implants was too expensive. All right, let's stop
- 59:40Speaker 8: this letter right here. Let's go back over because I
- 59:43Speaker 8: need some things that y'all need to see what I saw. Okay,
- 59:46Speaker 8: he sent you a picture of himself. You said he
- 59:49Speaker 8: had a beautiful smile. I commented that he had perfect teeth.
- 59:54Speaker 8: For no damn reason at all, he told me he
- 59:58Speaker 8: had false teeth. How old is this man?
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Here? Were he cool with this? Here? Maybe you got
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: some perfect teeth.
- 1:00:08Speaker 8: These ain't my teeth, These ain't mine, these false teeth.
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: So already know we're talking about an older couple here.
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: This ain't no too forty year olds at dinner. So
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: I asked him why he chose false teeth over implants.
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: He said the implant was too explicsive. We're talking about
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: a cheap ass man here. Now, there's a lot of
- 1:00:34Speaker 8: things you can save money on. YO damn teeth ain't
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: one of them. Spend some money on your damn mouth. Now,
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: if you want to go to Walmart and get you
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: them tank tops where when you put it on, the
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: armhole be down to your belt.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: I've often wondered whetting people get them tops from them
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: is Walmart tanks. So I don't care how big your
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: AMC is. You can put this tank top on. It's
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: gonna fit.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: Yeah, that ain't the Nike tank top. That's the Walmart
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: tank top.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: That armhold.
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: I don't care how what size you are. This tank
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: top fish. That's where you save money at. You want
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: to go to the grocery store and you don't want
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: to buy them manty green beans, I got you buy
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: you now at green beans. They steal green beans. The
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: label is white and the brightness black. All this say
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: is green beans.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I got that.
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: You don't save money on your damn teeth. So y'all
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: got to know each other. And after two weeks you
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: went out on the first date to the nice restaurant.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: You finally met him. You ordered your food, You start eating.
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: The conversation was so good that I didn't realize he
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: had taken his entire top rower teeth out. He saw
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: how you was looking at him. He said, See, you
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: can't even tell when I take my teeth out. I
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: look to say, Hold up, partner, hold up, let me
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: correct your We might not.
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: Have seen when you took him out.
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: We didn't see you take him out, but we damn
- 1:02:08Speaker 8: show sitting here looking at you, trying to figure out
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: what the hell.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Is your whole rower teeth? You can't take sixteen teeth out?
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: And don't nobody know it?
- 1:02:16Speaker 13: What wrong?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: We didn't see you take him out?
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: Kay?
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Dammit?
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: We look at you now, and now hell you talking about?
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: You can't even tell? No, I didn't No, I didn't
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: see you take him out. Pardon them all?
- 1:02:31Speaker 12: Right, hold that thought, Steve. We'll be back at twenty
- 1:02:34Speaker 12: three after the hour. Subject of today's letter. He took
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: him out at the dinner table.
- 1:02:39Speaker 13: We'll get back into it right after this. Hey, it's
- 1:02:44Speaker 13: Carla farroh. Kick that old mopping bucket aside? Are you
- 1:02:48Speaker 13: ready for a moping bucket? Clean and half the time

- 1:03:18Speaker 4: He took him out at the dinner table.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: This man she'd have met.
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: They talking on the phone, They exchange picture. She saw
- 1:03:26Speaker 8: the man smile and said, wow, you got perfect teeth
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: right out the blue. No damn reasoning at all, no
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: need to confess this, he said, these false teeth. Oh
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: that lets we know he already old, because he didn't
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: see no problem with it. And then she said, well,
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: why did you choose false teeth over implants? He said,
- 1:03:44Speaker 8: because day too expensive?
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: Okay, he cheat, he cheap.
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: If you'll cut back money on your damn teeth, lady,
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: your ass is finn to be weighing.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Your first Christmas gift is going to be.
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: One of them, Walmart, Tank, I can promise you that
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: because his ass is cheap. So they finally go out
- 1:04:08Speaker 8: to dinner after two weeks. It went on the first date,
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: nice restaurant, Glad to finally meet the man.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: You ordered your food and you start eating. Conversation was
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: so good that I didn't realize he had taken his
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: entire top row of teeth out.
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: Now he saw how I was looking at him, and
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: he said, see, you can't even tell when I take
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: my teeth out.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I looked the same food. Listen to me. She didn't
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: see you take the teeth out, but you said in.
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: The letter right here, he saw how I was looking,
- 1:04:44Speaker 8: cause see after you took him. She didn't see you
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: take him out, but somewhere in the conversation she was
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: just staring at your damn mout. And then you see,
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: you can't even tell when I take my teeth out. No,
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: we can't tell when you take him out, but we
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: can tell that they out.
- 1:05:01Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: So now she looking at you and you're talking about
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: See you can't even tell I took him out.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah, we can.
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: Why when you talking your top lip disappear? Where your
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: lip at that? And what is you eating without the
- 1:05:18Speaker 8: top row? What we damn plate helping me question? I
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: need to know what you are the partner that you
- 1:05:29Speaker 8: can eat without that whole damn top row. Now, what
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: I want everybody to do is, at one point today,
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: take your top lip and cover your front teeth with it. Now,
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: put something up your mouth and keep chewing, but keep
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: your top lip covering them teeth. You can choke your
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: ass to death. You finn to be swallowing food? So
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: who this man's digestive track is shot because he ain't
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: chewing up nothing. He's just swallowing food. Now I take
- 1:06:05Speaker 8: I look to say. I was at a loss for words.
- 1:06:08Speaker 8: His teeth was in a container beside his plate, and
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: he was just in eating and talking.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: Like everything was okay. I can't talk to you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: And half your damn mouth is in the glass looking
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: at me, because.
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: I'm trying to figure out it's just a magic trick,
- 1:06:33Speaker 8: because Hi, half your mouth.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: In a glass looking at me.
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: My goodness, I don't know if you'd have never been
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: over somebody house and they had their dentiance in the glass,
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: but it looked like the teeth is looking at you
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: cause they are because the teeth don't want to be
- 1:06:48Speaker 8: in the glass. They want to be in the mouth
- 1:06:50Speaker 8: because that's why they belong. I know being single can
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: be lonely, Yes it is, baby, but there's no way
- 1:06:57Speaker 8: I could be seen with this bald mouth man, Steven Shirley.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I do not have a problem at all with false teeth.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Yes you do, Yes you do.
- 1:07:07Speaker 8: This whole damn letter is about false teeth, and you
- 1:07:10Speaker 8: got a problem with them, so it's okay. It's just
- 1:07:14Speaker 8: you don't like false teeth. You got the right to
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: like what you like, right. Some men don't like women
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: with wigs. I don't give damn what you got on
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: long as you're cute, I could care less. It's men
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: don't like fake nails.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I like them.
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: It's men don't like our lashes. Please put them on.
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: I like all that extra blink blink, give me all that.
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: I do not have a problem with false teeth. But
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: you can't take them out on the first date. You
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: can't take them out with me. Ever, No damn first date,
- 1:07:45Speaker 8: at no point is our answer. At dinner, can you
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: reach up in your head pull a whole row of
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: damn teeth out.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: There. Ain't got nothing to do with the first date.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: You can't eat.
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: Take your damn teeth out, your heads over.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Set them down on the table. I don't give it, damn.
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: If you don't put him in glass, you can wrap
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: them up in your handkerchief and put them in your
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: top pocket.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I don't want to know that they helped there. Oh man,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I don't give it.
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: Damn.
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: If you know how to spin them teeth on your
- 1:08:15Speaker 8: finger like a basketball, you want to be sitting up
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: in here and launching your teeth go around in the song.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: But what about her friend, Steve? You gotta speak to her.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: Hold up, wait a minute.
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: I don't give a damn if you take your teeth
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: off and set them in the champagne bucket.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: But I can't see it. But when the waiter come
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: over there to pull another glass.
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: After the date, I called the friend to set us
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: up and told that his teeth was a deal breaker.
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: Oh and his lack of table. Man, she said, I
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: was being bugey. Ain't nobody bush right? This, ain't bushing
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: send him.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I don't give it down.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: How much money I ain't got? You can't pull your
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: damn teeth out and not see you. I don't care
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: how fine years sitting over there half and you pull
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: your teeth out your mouth.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I'm getting up and getting in my cop. Date is over,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: damn date is over.
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: Yes, all right, listen, we gotta go left me.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: You're damn right.

- 1:10:09Speaker 4: All right, Tommy, what is it now?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:10:13Speaker 6: I got a problem and it's you know, it might
- 1:10:16Speaker 6: it might be minded to y'all, but it's a big
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: problem to me because I've been going through for the
- 1:10:20Speaker 6: last month.
- 1:10:20Speaker 9: But this is Tommy. Yeah, should I come here first
- 1:10:24Speaker 9: or last?
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: You probably?
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: I mean, you ain't never went through that. You don't
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: go through stuff like this. Okay, this is something I'm
- 1:10:32Speaker 6: going through. Okay, this this is something I'm going all right.
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: This is a problem I'm had for the last month.
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: And it's a simple question. How do you throw away
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: a trash can?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I just just listen to him.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Now, ain't nobody helping you with that?
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I didn't.
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: If I put it on the street, they leave it
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: on the street. Now I done took the trash can?
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: They just leave it now?
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: Now I done took the trash can. I didn't put
- 1:10:59Speaker 6: it inside a bigger trash can. They take it out
- 1:11:02Speaker 6: and still leave it there. And I'm asking, how do
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: you get rid of a trash can? Okay, it's a
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: big problem. Okay, here's last thing I did.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: All right, I.

- 1:11:16Speaker 6: a sharpe. I be damn garbage man. Still left it there,
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: and I'm standing in the driveway trying to figure it out.
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: How in the hell do I get rid of a
- 1:11:25Speaker 6: trash can? Now here's what I did. Next, hook the
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: trash can next door to the neighbor's house and put
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: it by his trash Do you know I come home
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: that evening my trash is that trash can is in
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: my driveway, and it's a note on it saying I
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: don't know how your trash can got next door, but
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: I brought it over here. Sign GM garbage man, I said,
- 1:11:48Speaker 6: I'll be dawn. I cannot get rid of the trash can,
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: so that if anybody can just help me figure out
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: how in the hell do I get rid of a
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: trash can.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I don't know how to throw it away out right time?
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: Any suggestions, Uncle Steve.
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: I have a I have a question. Yes, how bad
- 1:12:08Speaker 8: do you want to get rid of the trash can?
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: On the scale of one to ten ten I've been
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: trying for a month. Then I have the perfect solution.
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: Put some money in it.
- 1:12:21Speaker 12: They're just gonna take them the money it'll go and
- 1:12:25Speaker 12: then what, Yeah, they're just gonna take the.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: Cash out of there.
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: What girl, ain't nobody? Ain't nobody finn run the risk
- 1:12:32Speaker 8: of taking the cash out. They're gonna take that trash can,
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: put it up in the front seat with them. They're
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: gonna have that thing on their lap. That's gonna wait
- 1:12:42Speaker 8: till they get somewhere because they don't want you to
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: see them taking that money out, because they ain't. You
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: ain't never seen nobody take no trash out the trash can.
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: That's some value without taking the whole thing. And that's

- 1:13:01Speaker 8: you know, I depending on how bad you want it gone.
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: That's why I asked him, how important to you you

- 1:18:04Speaker 12: Right, ladies and gentlemen, that is comedy roulette. You're listening
- 1:18:08Speaker 12: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, apparently single parents
- 1:18:14Speaker 12: are having a hard time dating and popular dating apps
- 1:18:17Speaker 12: have failed them. So a brand new app for single
- 1:18:20Speaker 12: parents launched. It's called Stir, will cater to the specific
- 1:18:25Speaker 12: needs of single parents who aren't finding luck on mainstream
- 1:18:28Speaker 12: dating apps. Studies have shown that single parents naturally gravitate
- 1:18:32Speaker 12: toward each towards other single parents. I think that's natural
- 1:18:36Speaker 12: because they didn't have to explain their constraints, and as
- 1:18:40Speaker 12: they're in the same stage of life, so I think.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: It should be interesting. What do you guys think?
- 1:18:45Speaker 12: But what if they both have like, you know, seven kids,
- 1:18:48Speaker 12: like Steve or something, and they're trying to make a
- 1:18:50Speaker 12: love connection.
- 1:18:52Speaker 6: What do you guys, think I need to if I'm single,
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: I need't know how many damn kids you gotten? If
- 1:18:56Speaker 6: you got five set kids and I don't, I need
- 1:18:59Speaker 6: to And we fill that out when we when we
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: type in our information, we need to.
- 1:19:03Speaker 18: Know that datable.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: Is that what you're saying? If she has five?
- 1:19:06Speaker 10: For me?
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Okay for me? Yeah, I'm thinking because I'm six cheering,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Well what well, what if you have five or six kids?
- 1:19:15Speaker 4: You want somebody to date you?
- 1:19:17Speaker 6: But I'm not looking for somebody that got What we
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: don't need is another five, not as ten.
- 1:19:22Speaker 18: So would you get someone with children?
- 1:19:24Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:19:24Speaker 16: I could ate somebody with children, but it can't be six.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: What's your limit?
- 1:19:29Speaker 10: Dog?
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Dog? About about one?
- 1:19:32Speaker 18: Two?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah, wasn't it possible?

- 1:24:28Speaker 4: it really did and it was a great day.
- 1:24:30Speaker 12: Yeah, and thank you Lord, and we have our one
- 1:24:34Speaker 12: and only fearless leader, our captain to take us.
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: Home with some closing remarks to get us through the day.
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: Steve, I think I decided to do something a little
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: bit different today. I want to give you a bullet
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: point list of things to consider on your journey. I
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: want to give you some bullet points to protect yourself
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: as you're climbing the letter to success. These bullet points
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: are things that all of us will can and have experienced,
- 1:25:11Speaker 8: and they come over and over and over at different
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: levels in different times. Now, the things I'm about to
- 1:25:18Speaker 8: share with you are not the only things, and I
- 1:25:24Speaker 8: don't have them in any particular order. I just wanted
- 1:25:27Speaker 8: to share them with you. These are what I call
- 1:25:32Speaker 8: dream crushes. I can't tell you how many people I
- 1:25:35Speaker 8: know who have had wonderful aspirations and dreams and got
- 1:25:39Speaker 8: started and they allowed these dreams to get crushed.
- 1:25:44Speaker 9: And I know a lot of them.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: I'm not gonna name all of them, but I am
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: gonna name some of them, and I want you all
- 1:25:51Speaker 8: to think about them as I list them, so you
- 1:25:54Speaker 8: can be on guard for them because they are coming. Oh,
- 1:25:58Speaker 8: don't you think for one moment that they are not coming.
- 1:26:03Speaker 8: These are some of the dream crushes that you will encounter.
- 1:26:08Speaker 8: The first one I simply call background chatter. Somehow, when
- 1:26:14Speaker 8: you're on your way, you hear the murmuring in the crowd,
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: you hear the naysayers.
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: You just hear this constantly. Here he comes, here she
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: come again. Oh, hey, how you doing?
- 1:26:28Speaker 10: Oh?
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: Here he come with that old crazy man. Have you
- 1:26:31Speaker 8: seen what he thought he was gonna be? Anybody y'all
- 1:26:35Speaker 8: seeing his dream? Boy, it's so crazy.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Hey, how you doing?
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: Man?
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: That's all right.
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: And you hear stuff like this, I call it background chatter.
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: It can be very very rough if you get it
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: on a constant basis. Those are one of the dream crushers.
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: Be very very careful. Here's another dream dream crusher. Comparisons
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: to others. See when you building your house, when you're
- 1:27:05Speaker 8: building your road, when you're building your building, don't look
- 1:27:09Speaker 8: across the street at the other house, the other structure,
- 1:27:13Speaker 8: and the other building. First of all, you don't know
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: what's under the foundation of what appears to be a
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: grand building. Now you trying to build your solid on
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: a great foundation, rock by rock, level by level, But
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: you're looking over there and somebody halfway up with a skyride,
- 1:27:30Speaker 8: and you try to figure out why it's taking you
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: so long. You don't even know that they done built
- 1:27:34Speaker 8: that on sand. You don't even know that there's no
- 1:27:38Speaker 8: flooring behind it, that it ain't nothing but a shell.
- 1:27:41Speaker 8: Be careful of comparing your building to others, because what
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: you see across the street might not be the same.
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: Those are dream crushes. Here's another one, a well timed
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: set back. Right when you think things are going along,
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: all of a sudden, something just pops up.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: You know what that is.
- 1:27:58Speaker 9: It's called life.
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: It just serve. It's surfaces for all of us, y'all.
- 1:28:02Speaker 9: It's just life. It's nothing aimed.
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: Directly at you. It's not, but it's not resigned and
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: particularly your situation.
- 1:28:11Speaker 8: Everybody got them well time setbacks, crushed dreams all the time.
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: Be ready because there will be some. Here's another one.
- 1:28:20Speaker 8: I want you to be careful, love watch out for statistics.
- 1:28:23Speaker 8: Statistics were designed by people who were failing to justify
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: their failure.
- 1:28:29Speaker 9: One out of every four hundred, you know, only.
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: Two in a million, ever, get I wouldn't play that
- 1:28:35Speaker 8: lotto because the only person to hear is today say
- 1:28:37Speaker 8: is one in two hundred and eighty five million chances.
- 1:28:40Speaker 8: Statistics stop so many people because they keep putting yourself
- 1:28:45Speaker 8: in the one.
- 1:28:47Speaker 9: You either put yourself in the one, or you put
- 1:28:49Speaker 9: yourself in the group.
- 1:28:50Speaker 8: You know, one out of every two thousand comedians make
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: it on the Johnny Carson Show. That was the stat
