  Romans 6 2, it simply says,

  How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

  The fact is, if you've become a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ,

  if you recognize that you have sinned,

  that the wages of that sin was death,

  and the gift of God's eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord,

  and you chose to receive that gift of eternal life,

  you've become something different.

  You may lie and never be a liar.

  You may steal and never be a thief,

  like you were before you were saved.

  We were dead in our trespasses and sins,

  and now we've been brought to life.

  But because we can sin and not be considered a lost sinner,

  doesn't mean we should sin.

  In fact, Paul writes to the Romans in Romans 6 2,

  May it never be.

  How shall we who died to sin still live in it?

  Our state has been changed.

  This is a contradiction.

  To live, to continue to live in sin, seek out sin, do sin,

  fall to sin, fail in sin, that kind of thing.

  Once you've been saved,

  that should be cut out of your life the best you know how.

  Every time you realize you've done something wrong,

  repent, turn again to God, confess,

  be willing to admit what you've done,

  and Jesus Christ will forgive you, forgive our sins,

  and cleanse us of all unrighteousness.

  When we do what's wrong, saved or not,

  there is a result of that.

  It is the wrath of God.

  God does not want us to do what's wrong for us

  and wrong in general.

  but you can do the best you can to live for Jesus every day.
