Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Social Media Attacks Speakers From CPAC And Trump Calls Them Out
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You want to know what happens when you go to
- 0:02Speaker 1: a major conference like CEPACK and you stand up on
- 0:05Speaker 1: stage and you talk about big tech censoring conservatives. Well,
- 0:11Speaker 1: I've just experienced exactly what happens to you when you
- 0:14Speaker 1: do that. Big tech fights back, they come after you,
- 0:18Speaker 1: and they silence you. This morning, we received a notice
- 0:22Speaker 1: from Facebook, clearly after my conversation at CEPAC about big
- 0:27Speaker 1: tech silencing conservatives, and that's exactly what they have now done.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We got a threat a risk. It says your page
- 0:36Speaker 1: is at risk of being unpublished. Here are page restrictions
- 0:39Speaker 1: that we have right now. Number one, your Facebook page
- 0:43Speaker 1: at risk of being unpublished and has reduced distribution and
- 0:46Speaker 1: other restrictions due to continued community standard violations. Number two,
- 0:52Speaker 1: your pages at risk of being restricted unpublished repeated violations
- 0:55Speaker 1: against our standards on an authentic behavior. Your page may
- 0:58Speaker 1: also experience reduced to a Number three, your page is
- 1:02Speaker 1: reduced distribution other restrictions because of repeated sharing of false news.
- 1:06Speaker 1: People will also be able to see if a page
- 1:08Speaker 1: has a history of sharing false news. Number four, this
- 1:12Speaker 1: page isn't being suggested to people at this time, why
- 1:16Speaker 1: because of some posts that we had already deleted from
- 1:19Speaker 1: a long time ago that apparently, somehow they said was
- 1:22Speaker 1: in violation of the standards of Facebook, a post that
- 1:26Speaker 1: we couldn't even delete because the post had already been deleted.
- 1:34Speaker 1: So you go on stage, you talk about Facebook, Facebook
- 1:42Speaker 1: monitors that speech. Facebook then comes after you to silence
- 1:47Speaker 1: you and to shut you down. If you want to
- 1:51Speaker 1: know how dangerous big tech is right now, look at
- 1:54Speaker 1: what they did in twenty four hours. Twelve years of
- 1:57Speaker 1: work that we had put in to build and grow
- 1:59Speaker 1: Facebook Connect with You will disappear now, and it will
- 2:04Speaker 1: disappear only because we talked about our free speech being silenced.
- 2:09Speaker 1: And then when you talk about that, they actually say,
- 2:12Speaker 1: oh yeah, watch this. My question is, where the hell
- 2:16Speaker 1: are the conservatives. They're supposed to be protecting people like
- 2:19Speaker 1: you and I, as our voices are being silenced. Where
- 2:23Speaker 1: are we? Why are they not protecting and defending us?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Why are they not doing more to hold big tech
- 2:31Speaker 1: accountable for retaliating against people To have a different viewpoint,
- 2:36Speaker 1: all I said at SEPAC was we are under attack.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Clearly I'm right, because look at what happened this morning.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I said that it's time for big tech to play fair.
- 2:47Speaker 1: It's time for big tech to not just censor conservatives.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's time for big tech to get out of the
- 2:52Speaker 1: censorship business. It's time for big tech to leave us alone.
- 2:56Speaker 1: My opinion should not be shut down because you disagree
- 2:59Speaker 1: with it. And that's what I said. And now they've said, Okay,
- 3:04Speaker 1: we're going to punish you for saying it. You think
- 3:07Speaker 1: that you're going to be allowed on our platform. No,
- 3:10Speaker 1: you think people are gonna be able to find you
- 3:11Speaker 1: on our platform. No, you think you're gonna be able
- 3:13Speaker 1: to broadcast on our platform. No, because you got out
- 3:16Speaker 1: of line. Now, if you're a liberal, you can post
- 3:19Speaker 1: and say whatever the hell you want to. If you're liberal,
- 3:22Speaker 1: you can say that others should be silenced. Now, I'm
- 3:26Speaker 1: not surprised that they're coming after me. I'm just surprised
- 3:28Speaker 1: how transparent they're being about it. Twenty four hours after
- 3:32Speaker 1: less than twenty four hours after seapack ended, Those that
- 3:35Speaker 1: spoke at Seapack about conservative values are being targeted. Those
- 3:40Speaker 1: that speak out about their experience with big tech are
- 3:42Speaker 1: being targeted. Now, they've already taken away Donald Trump's page.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Twitter already banned the President of the United It's America.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And they've also said that even if he becomes president
- 3:52Speaker 1: again in twenty twenty four, which is a very good
- 3:56Speaker 1: chance that could happen in twenty twenty four, give me
- 4:00Speaker 1: that cleared seapack and I'll play that for you in
- 4:02Speaker 1: a second, that they will not give him his page back. Yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 1: they won't give his page back in twenty twenty four,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even if he runs and wins. They're saying, no, the
- 4:13Speaker 1: President United It's America is not welcome on Facebook. If
- 4:17Speaker 1: you speak out against Facebook, we will silence you. If
- 4:21Speaker 1: you do anything on Facebook, we will silence you. That's
- 4:26Speaker 1: what they are saying. Now, that is exactly what they
- 4:30Speaker 1: are saying. I want you to hear what Donald Trump
- 4:33Speaker 1: had to say at Sea Pack about big tech. And
- 4:36Speaker 1: the question is why is no one doing what the president,
- 4:38Speaker 1: the former president United It's America Donald Trump is saying.
- 4:41Speaker 1: And he's right. There used to be a debate in
- 4:42Speaker 1: this country. You used to be a debate the ideas.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Now you can't even do that. They just silence you
- 4:46Speaker 1: and your ideas make up it's mind. But now there
- 4:49Speaker 1: is no debate because they refuse to allow our side
- 4:52Speaker 1: to even speak or be heard. They don't want debate
- 4:55Speaker 1: because we have easy victories in a debate, very easy victories.
- 4:59Speaker 1: This old common sense. It's called other things, but it's
- 5:02Speaker 1: called common said, so they don't want it to be.
- 5:06Speaker 1: The time has come to break up big tech monopolies
- 5:09Speaker 1: and restore fair competition. Republicans conservatives must open up our
- 5:25Speaker 1: platforms and repeal Section to thirty liability for factory And
- 5:33Speaker 1: if the federal government refuses to act, then every state
- 5:38Speaker 1: in the Union where we have the votes, which is
- 5:42Speaker 1: a lot of them, big tech giants like Twitter, Google,
- 5:45Speaker 1: and Facebook should be punished with major sanctions whenever they
- 5:50Speaker 1: silence conservative voices. And Governor on Descantis to Florida and
- 6:03Speaker 1: in Texas and in other states are doing this. If
- 6:10Speaker 1: they do what they're doing, Florida and that legislation will pass,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and Texas and others will have tremendous power to do
- 6:21Speaker 1: what's right and what's fair. We have no time to waste.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in Congress are racing to
- 6:28Speaker 1: pass a fragrantly, flagrantly unconstitutional attack on the First Amendment.
- 6:35Speaker 1: He's right, by the way they are moving to do
- 6:37Speaker 1: this unconstitutional attack on the First Amendment But the question
- 6:45Speaker 1: that all of us should be asking is where the
- 6:47Speaker 1: hell are the Republicans. I know that the left is crazy,
- 6:51Speaker 1: I know the Democrats crazy. I understand why they want
- 6:53Speaker 1: to silence me, understand why Facebook's coming after me this
- 6:55Speaker 1: morning because I spoke out against Facebook at the Seapack Convention.
- 7:00Speaker 1: But where are the Republicans protecting us? Congress clearly is
- 7:03Speaker 1: not going to do it. Thank goodness, we have governors
- 7:06Speaker 1: like Governor to SANDUS and FDA they are actually going
- 7:08Speaker 1: to try to hold big tech accountable. Thank goodness. We
- 7:10Speaker 1: have the ag in Texas that says they're gonna hold
- 7:15Speaker 1: Facebook and these other big tech companies accountable. But they
- 7:17Speaker 1: say they're gonna do it. My question is, why aren't
- 7:19Speaker 1: you doing it right now? Because every day that you wait,
- 7:22Speaker 1: every single day, you have more and more conservatives like
- 7:25Speaker 1: myself who are getting screwed. Every single day, more and
- 7:29Speaker 1: more of us are getting shut down and we are
- 7:31Speaker 1: getting silenced. It's a problem and they need to fix it.
- 7:36Speaker 1: They need to fix it real quick before all of
- 7:39Speaker 1: us disappear. But it's the biggest people right now that
- 7:42Speaker 1: are being silenced. They're going from the top down and
- 7:47Speaker 1: they're just shutting us down, one by one by one
- 7:49Speaker 1: by one by one by one. This is what they
- 7:52Speaker 1: are doing. They're shutting us down. And where are they
- 7:57Speaker 1: Why are they not protecting us? Because we're out there
- 8:00Speaker 1: fighting the good fight. And this is part of the
- 8:02Speaker 1: problem I have with so many of these Republican establishment people.
- 8:05Speaker 1: They'll go out there and they'll talk about being oppressed.
- 8:08Speaker 1: They'll go out there and talk about being silenced. They've
- 8:10Speaker 1: not done a thing to stop it. I don't care
- 8:17Speaker 1: who you are right now, you should be angry that
- 8:20Speaker 1: this is happening. It should not be happening to anybody,
- 8:23Speaker 1: whether you're a liberal or a Republican. This is un
- 8:25Speaker 1: American and this is an attack on our free speech.
- 8:30Speaker 1: The President talked about what we got to do to
- 8:32Speaker 1: protect us and to protect conservatives out there, But where
- 8:35Speaker 1: are the other Republicans? You know? Donald Trump also mentioned
- 8:39Speaker 1: something else at spec not only to say there's a big,
- 8:42Speaker 1: good chance he might run for president twenty twenty four.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Clearly the Republican Party has not left Donald Trump, but
- 8:48Speaker 1: he also talked about the media and the fake news
- 8:50Speaker 1: are protecting this guy, protecting Joe Biden, not telling the
- 8:55Speaker 1: truth about what Joe Biden is doing. We are at war, folks,
- 8:59Speaker 1: whether you miran, I'm not saying that we're the ones
- 9:01Speaker 1: that went to war. I'm saying we are under attack.
- 9:05Speaker 1: The media is attacking us, big texts attacking us. You
- 9:08Speaker 1: speak out, you get silenced, and you get disappeared from
- 9:11Speaker 1: the Internet, which is exactly what is happening right now.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And the media is protecting Joe Biden in his hypocrisy
- 9:18Speaker 1: and the corruption already within his White House. American people.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He didn't talk about this stuff. I debated him. He
- 9:26Speaker 1: wasn't talking about this. He wasn't what he signed with
- 9:30Speaker 1: those executive orders. They weren't things that were discussed. We
- 9:34Speaker 1: didn't know all about him. And the press because they're
- 9:37Speaker 1: fake news. They're the biggest fakers there are. But the
- 9:41Speaker 1: press refused to ask the questions. And when I asked
- 9:47Speaker 1: the questions on television on the debate, Chris Wallace in
- 9:52Speaker 1: this case and others refused to let him answer. They
- 9:57Speaker 1: refused to let him answer the questions. Maybe we could
- 10:00Speaker 1: have found something or if the media did its job,
- 10:03Speaker 1: which they don't. Their callous indifference to working family is
- 10:07Speaker 1: equally clear when it comes to the critical matter of
- 10:10Speaker 1: getting America's children back to school, and they must get
- 10:18Speaker 1: back and get back right now, right now, crazy, terrible.
- 10:33Speaker 1: The Biden administration is actually bragging about the classroom education
- 10:38Speaker 1: they are providing to migrant children on the border, while
- 10:42Speaker 1: at the same time, millions of American children are having
- 10:46Speaker 1: their futures destroyed by Joe Biden's anti science school closures.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Think of it. We're educating students on the border, but
- 10:56Speaker 1: our own people, children of our citizens, citizens themselves, are
- 11:02Speaker 1: not getting the education that they deserve. There's no reason
- 11:07Speaker 1: whatsoever why the vast majority of young Americans should not
- 11:11Speaker 1: be back in school immediately. The only reason that most
- 11:19Speaker 1: parents do not have that choice is because Joe Biden
- 11:23Speaker 1: sold out America's children to the teachers' unions. His position
- 11:34Speaker 1: is morally inexcusable. You know that Joe Biden is shamefully
- 11:38Speaker 1: betrayed America's youth, and he is cruelly keeping our children
- 11:42Speaker 1: locked in their homes no reason for whatsoever they want
- 11:46Speaker 1: to get out. They're cheating the next generations of Americans
- 11:51Speaker 1: out of the future that they deserve, and they do
- 11:54Speaker 1: deserve this future. They're going to grow up and they're
- 11:57Speaker 1: going to have a scar It's a scandal of the
- 12:00Speaker 1: highest order and one of the most craven acts by
- 12:03Speaker 1: any president in our lifetimes. It's the teachers union, it's
- 12:08Speaker 1: the votes, and it shouldn't happen. And I have nobody
- 12:11Speaker 1: has more respect for teachers than I do. And I'll
- 12:14Speaker 1: bet you a lot of the people within that union
- 12:17Speaker 1: they agree with everything I'm saying. Even the New York
- 12:20Speaker 1: Times is calling out the Democrats. The mental and physical
- 12:24Speaker 1: health of these young people is reaching at breaking point. Tragically,
- 12:28Speaker 1: suicide attempts of skyrocket it, and student depression is now
- 12:33Speaker 1: commonplace and at levels that we've never seen before. You know,
- 12:38Speaker 1: one of the things that Trump just mentioned, they're about
- 12:40Speaker 1: the kids, And it's another example of just the total
- 12:42Speaker 1: bs hypocrisy of the left. They always couldn't they care
- 12:45Speaker 1: about kids. They always couldn't they care about mental health.
- 12:47Speaker 1: You listen to what he just said about mental health,
- 12:49Speaker 1: and you listen to what he said about the kids
- 12:51Speaker 1: and the issues with mental health. They don't care. They
- 12:55Speaker 1: could care less about our kids. They could care less.
- 12:58Speaker 1: In fact, California Team Union president who led the school
- 13:02Speaker 1: closure charge in California, has been busted dropping his daughter
- 13:07Speaker 1: off at an in person preschool. That's right, Meyer told
- 13:13Speaker 1: Fox News and statement that there are no public options
- 13:16Speaker 1: for kids his daughter's age, so therefore that's why it
- 13:21Speaker 1: was appropriate. Okay. A group known as Guerrilla Moms is
- 13:26Speaker 1: calling the Berkeley Foundation of Teachers President Matt Meyer a hypocrite.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Why because they spotted him dropping off his two year
- 13:37Speaker 1: old daughter to an in person institution at a private preschool.
- 13:43Speaker 1: A private preschool. Yeah, private preschool. Meet Matt Meyer, white
- 13:51Speaker 1: man with dreads and president of the local teachers union,
- 13:54Speaker 1: the group wrote in a tweet on Saturday, along with
- 13:56Speaker 1: a video footage of Meyer, he's been saying it's unsafe
- 13:59Speaker 1: for your kid to be back at school, all while
- 14:02Speaker 1: dropping his kid off at a private school. Meyer, now
- 14:06Speaker 1: in the defense in California, told Fox News in a
- 14:09Speaker 1: statement that the video, which blurred at his child's face,
- 14:12Speaker 1: was quote very inappropriate. He's now playing the victim card,
- 14:15Speaker 1: which they play oh so well, and instruct an intrusion,
- 14:19Speaker 1: he says, of his child's privacy. He added that there
- 14:23Speaker 1: were no public options for kids her age, so that's
- 14:26Speaker 1: why it happened. There are major differences in running a
- 14:30Speaker 1: small preschool and a ten thousand student public school. District
- 14:36Speaker 1: in terms of size, faculty, public health guidance and services
- 14:39Speaker 1: that legally have we have to provide. He added, we
- 14:43Speaker 1: all want a safe return to school. The Berkeley Foundation
- 14:46Speaker 1: Federation of Teachers I Say is it cited that Berkeley
- 14:49Speaker 1: Unified will be reopening soon with a plan supported by
- 14:54Speaker 1: our members of the district to get our students back
- 14:56Speaker 1: in the classroom starting we hope later this month. Parents
- 15:00Speaker 1: A Marakalissa, a former PTA Berkeley council president, told the
- 15:07Speaker 1: local news station that while she understands parents anger and
- 15:10Speaker 1: a Greek school should be open, the video by guerrilla
- 15:13Speaker 1: moms crosses a line. So now they want to claim victimhood.
- 15:16Speaker 1: That's their defense. Quote for me, you don't need to
- 15:19Speaker 1: attack people personally, you need to address it politically. Well,
- 15:22Speaker 1: we've been trying to politically do it politically, and you
- 15:25Speaker 1: guys aren't listening, you idiots. She went on to say,
- 15:29Speaker 1: when you start getting personal, you mix up dimensions and
- 15:32Speaker 1: you don't get to discuss the real thing. We are
- 15:34Speaker 1: discussing the real thing, mom, union mom, former PTA president,
- 15:40Speaker 1: We are discussing the real issue here. Why is it
- 15:44Speaker 1: that they're union president who demands that the kids stay home.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Why is it? Why is it that he can then
- 15:53Speaker 1: take and drop his kid off at a private school.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It goes back to the point that I've been saying
- 16:00Speaker 1: for a long time. You guys are always doing different
- 16:05Speaker 1: things for your unions and you actually do in your
- 16:07Speaker 1: own life. He knows it's safe to drop his kid
- 16:11Speaker 1: off at school. That's why he's doing it. He's dropping
- 16:14Speaker 1: it off at a private school. The reason why he's
- 16:16Speaker 1: dropping off of the private school is very clear, because
- 16:20Speaker 1: he doesn't want to be bothered with his kid not
- 16:22Speaker 1: getting an education, or he believes his kid deserves to
- 16:25Speaker 1: get a better education he's giving his kids in his
- 16:28Speaker 1: own district where he's the union president. The only reason
- 16:33Speaker 1: why the public schools are not open in this country,
- 16:35Speaker 1: buy and far as one reason because the teachers know
- 16:37Speaker 1: that they don't have to answer to anybody. The teachers
- 16:41Speaker 1: know it, okay, The unions know it. They get paid
- 16:46Speaker 1: whether the kids get educated or not. They get paid
- 16:48Speaker 1: whether the kids show up or not. In the private school,
- 16:51Speaker 1: that doesn't happen. We all know this, okay. In the
- 16:55Speaker 1: private schools. We all know what happens. What happens in
- 16:58Speaker 1: the private schools. Folks, answer me, what happens. Think about it.
- 17:03Speaker 1: In the private schools. You don't show up to teach,
- 17:06Speaker 1: and you don't get you don't get a paycheck. Right,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you don't show up to teach, you don't open the schools,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and no one writes their tuition checks. And when you
- 17:16Speaker 1: don't want to write the tuition checks, then what happens.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You don't have any money, which means you don't have
- 17:22Speaker 1: a job. So the private schools figured out a way
- 17:25Speaker 1: to do it safely nationwide, and they did a really
- 17:27Speaker 1: good job of doing it safely nationwide. That's why the
- 17:30Speaker 1: private schools haven't been closing down. It's why the private
- 17:34Speaker 1: schools are continuing to stay open. It's why this guy's
- 17:37Speaker 1: dropping his kid off the union present at a private
- 17:40Speaker 1: school while saying you can't open the public schools. It's
- 17:43Speaker 1: a problem and it's disgusting. But to say that this
- 17:50Speaker 1: is we should be debating, quote policy. We've been trying
- 17:54Speaker 1: to debate policy. We've been giving you the facts. We've
- 17:56Speaker 1: been telling you that the schools are not super spreaders.
- 17:59Speaker 1: We've been showing you what's been happening to private schools,
- 18:01Speaker 1: and you guys still refuse to go back to work.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Because you care more about getting a paycheck for doing
- 18:06Speaker 1: nothing but babysitting, and you don't realize you're ruining these kids' lives.
- 18:10Speaker 1: The private school kids were already ahead nine times out
- 18:13Speaker 1: ahead of the public schools that you get a better
- 18:15Speaker 1: education in the private schools. Now you've taken an entire
- 18:19Speaker 1: year away from these kids, and they're way behind. They're
- 18:22Speaker 1: way behind where they should be, even for public school standards,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and they're way way, way way behind, way way way
- 18:31Speaker 1: behind when it comes to where they should be against
- 18:35Speaker 1: the kids and the private schools. How many kids? How
- 18:39Speaker 1: many kids? How many kids are not going to get
- 18:42Speaker 1: scholarships wanting to be competitive for scholarships because of you
- 18:45Speaker 1: guys screwing their lives up this year? How many answer
- 18:50Speaker 1: me that question? You don't care about these kids. It
- 18:54Speaker 1: is absolutely insane. But they don't care about you. They
- 18:59Speaker 1: don't care about your kids. They don't care if your
- 19:01Speaker 1: freedom of speeches being taken away, they don't care if
- 19:04Speaker 1: your pages are being disappeared from Facebook. They don't care
- 19:06Speaker 1: that if you can't give your opinion, because this is
- 19:08Speaker 1: exactly what liberals want to do. You speak out, they
- 19:11Speaker 1: silence you. We tell you what you have to do
- 19:15Speaker 1: with your life, and if you don't agree with what
- 19:16Speaker 1: we tell you, we will silence you. We can send
- 19:19Speaker 1: our kids a private school while you're sitting at home
- 19:21Speaker 1: with your kids in the public school is getting behind.
- 19:23Speaker 1: This is what is happening in this country. And I
- 19:26Speaker 1: say this to the Republicans, you better start doing your
- 19:29Speaker 1: damn job, because before you know it, you're not gonna
- 19:32Speaker 1: have any allies. Folks, you won't have any because we'll
- 19:36Speaker 1: all be silenced, just like I have been silenced now
- 19:39Speaker 1: on Facebook because I spoke out against big tech at
- 19:42Speaker 1: seapat convention. It's disgusting and I'll leave it at that.
