- 1:10Speaker 1: you gotta turn't to turn out at the time you
- 1:43Speaker 1: lovey got to turn out to turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back at it. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one it only Steve harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: Man got a radio show. Real glad about it too,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know. Um I um, I hope that God always
- 2:19Speaker 1: keeps me in the frame of frame of mind to
- 2:22Speaker 1: try to be sharing and try to be motivational. And
- 2:26Speaker 1: even when it's not felt or or wanted by some people.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I have people around me who seemed to not benefited
- 2:36Speaker 1: off anything, and I can sit with them and talk
- 2:39Speaker 1: to them or take meetings with them to try to
- 2:42Speaker 1: encourage them. And for whatever reason, you know, they want
- 2:45Speaker 1: to just keep going the way they're going. When you
- 2:47Speaker 1: run into people like that, you have to pray for him.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You have to just hope that one day, uh that
- 2:52Speaker 1: they released the chains on their mind and open up
- 2:55Speaker 1: your mind to a new way of thinking. A couple
- 2:58Speaker 1: of things I wanted to go over with that I
- 2:59Speaker 1: want you to all today in terms of motivation. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: want you to be aware of statements or old sayings
- 3:10Speaker 1: that have been created that you here over the course
- 3:13Speaker 1: of time, and you may be applying them to your life.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And I want you to be careful of some of
- 3:19Speaker 1: them because some of these old sayings, man, are not
- 3:24Speaker 1: designed for people who are dreamers, are not designed for
- 3:30Speaker 1: people who have any aspirations of being extraordinary. These are
- 3:34Speaker 1: not designs or or or sayings that people who want
- 3:39Speaker 1: to be extremely successful at anything or have high aspirations
- 3:43Speaker 1: to put these sayings into your life. Let me give
- 3:47Speaker 1: you an example. Statistics say that's it. That's the one
- 3:55Speaker 1: who want you to be careful about statistics, say be
- 4:01Speaker 1: very careful of stats. When a person says, you know
- 4:06Speaker 1: statistics say one out of every what see, listen to me.
- 4:12Speaker 1: These are things that sound like they're good, sound solid advice,
- 4:16Speaker 1: but they're setting you up for failure. And you can't
- 4:20Speaker 1: adhere yourself to a lot of these sayings that's been
- 4:24Speaker 1: passed down from generations. And it's not scripture. It ain't
- 4:29Speaker 1: in the scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's just some
- 4:33Speaker 1: people and a lot of people who have lost have
- 4:38Speaker 1: come up with these things to justify why they keep
- 4:41Speaker 1: losing or why they lost. When I was gott started
- 4:46Speaker 1: in the business, there were more stand ups around now
- 4:51Speaker 1: than it is today because the comedy boom in eighty
- 4:54Speaker 1: four was uh, it was gaining a lot of momentums,
- 5:00Speaker 1: comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The statistic that a guy
- 5:04Speaker 1: told me I told him I wanted to be on
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show. The guy said,
- 5:15Speaker 1: one out of every two thousand comedians ever make it
- 5:21Speaker 1: to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when he told us that,
- 5:29Speaker 1: some of the comedians in the room went, well, wow, man,
- 5:32Speaker 1: that's that's rough. Because a guy had also said that
- 5:37Speaker 1: there was approximately six thousand comedians in the country at
- 5:42Speaker 1: that time. I don't know if it was true. I'm
- 5:44Speaker 1: just telling you guy, without the sputing numbers, I have
- 5:46Speaker 1: no idea how many it was. But he said one
- 5:50Speaker 1: in every two thousand will make it to the tonight show,
- 5:53Speaker 1: and he let the air out of everybody in the room.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Button be so every night before I went on stage,
- 6:00Speaker 1: I used to do this right here, bad pamper bad
- 6:03Speaker 1: la la la da Bada pamper bad la la la da.
- 6:09Speaker 1: That was the tonight theme song. I was young, opening
- 6:13Speaker 1: act nowhere near Hollywood, didn't. I was in Cleveland telling
- 6:17Speaker 1: jokes at one night. But that was my thing because
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was bent and determined that if it's one in
- 6:24Speaker 1: two thousand, okay, why don't I just be the one?
- 6:28Speaker 1: Be careful when people say statistics say because they are
- 6:32Speaker 1: set up to ful failure. If you're gonna adhere to him,
- 6:35Speaker 1: see that one in so many? It wasn't so many
- 6:37Speaker 1: people win a lottery. But if you don't play the lottery,
- 6:39Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be the one to here. Now when
- 6:41Speaker 1: the dude hit you go while he was lucky, but
- 6:43Speaker 1: he played here's another one. Maybe it's not meant to be.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Let's go one step further. I guess it wasn't the
- 6:53Speaker 1: Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God for something you
- 6:59Speaker 1: may have not done yourself because you didn't get the
- 7:03Speaker 1: proper education, because you didn't do the things you were
- 7:07Speaker 1: supposed to do, because you didn't stay to the task,
- 7:10Speaker 1: because you quit, turned around and went the other way. Now,
- 7:14Speaker 1: maybe it's not It wasn't the Lord's will. These are
- 7:17Speaker 1: all statements that sound like sound advice, but they ain't
- 7:23Speaker 1: all the time, got nothing to do with you. Stop
- 7:27Speaker 1: letting these old fogy sayings get in your way of
- 7:31Speaker 1: what can happen in your life. Don't put all your
- 7:36Speaker 1: eggs in one basket? Wow, who came up with this?
- 7:42Speaker 1: Who came over there? If you don't pour all your
- 7:44Speaker 1: efforts into one thing, how are you gonna be great
- 7:48Speaker 1: at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan's Magic
- 7:53Speaker 1: Johnson Larry Bird had not played basketball sun up to sundown,
- 7:58Speaker 1: Magic Johnson didn't go to Michigan to get an education.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Landberry didn't go to Indiana to get an education. These
- 8:07Speaker 1: casts was bawling. Michael Jordan didn't go to North Carolina
- 8:11Speaker 1: get an education. They went to play ball. They went
- 8:14Speaker 1: to do one thing. Tiger Woods didn't go to Stanford
- 8:18Speaker 1: to get an education. He went to play golf. As
- 8:22Speaker 1: soon as he got good enough, he gone. These are
- 8:25Speaker 1: guys that put all their eggs in one basket. See
- 8:30Speaker 1: what's what's cool we're putting all your eggs in one basket.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Is you now can maximize your effort and laser beam
- 8:36Speaker 1: what you're doing. Your problem is all you gotta do
- 8:41Speaker 1: is make sure what is your basket made out of.
- 8:45Speaker 1: If your basket is made out of faith, hope, hard work,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and belief, then guess what, that's a good basket. I'm
- 8:53Speaker 1: dumping all mine in it. Because ever since I was
- 8:56Speaker 1: a young dude, I've been telling jokes one thing, one
- 8:59Speaker 1: thing only. Even when it got ugly and I was
- 9:02Speaker 1: living in a car, I never quit telling them jokes. Man.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I just kept believing that them jokes was gonna pay
- 9:07Speaker 1: me one day. And I'll be dog on if it didn't.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I ain't take no time off. Go work at the Walmart,
- 9:13Speaker 1: give me a job, go back to forward and big
- 9:15Speaker 1: for my job back. Hey man, put all your eggs
- 9:19Speaker 1: in a basket. Just make sure that your basket is
- 9:22Speaker 1: made up of faith, hope, belief, hard work. Your your
- 9:27Speaker 1: basket woven by God what you're tripping for. And then
- 9:31Speaker 1: here's another one. Let me throw this on that you
- 9:33Speaker 1: always have a plan. B that's another loser statement, why
- 9:37Speaker 1: do you have a Plan B? Listen to me, In
- 9:40Speaker 1: order to have a Plan B, you have to stop
- 9:42Speaker 1: working on plan A to formulate Plan B. In order
- 9:46Speaker 1: to have plan B to fall back on. You not
- 9:49Speaker 1: have to stop your time working on plan A to
- 9:51Speaker 1: apply some effort to have a plan B. So in
- 9:54Speaker 1: case plan A on work, you can fall back on
- 9:57Speaker 1: plan B. Really, who told you that? People ask me
- 10:02Speaker 1: all the time with Steve, I don't make no sense.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You ain't got no plan be supposed Plan A don't work,
- 10:07Speaker 1: then I just go get another Plan A. I'm gonna
- 10:11Speaker 1: put all my eggs in the basket. If you have
- 10:14Speaker 1: Plan B, you are planning on Plan A not working. Man,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 10:27Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 10:30Speaker 1: got to blee that God could do what he say
- 10:32Speaker 1: gonna do. Because he didn't done it for others, he
- 10:34Speaker 1: will most certainly do it for you. Be careful of
- 10:37Speaker 1: these sayings that's out here, that's aligned by losers and
- 10:41Speaker 1: people to justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply
- 10:44Speaker 1: this stuff to your life. And it ain't got nothing
- 10:46Speaker 1: to do with you. You're gonna mess yourself up. Get
- 10:49Speaker 1: your plan A, make it work if it don't ever
- 10:52Speaker 1: come to pass, and get another plan A. All right, okay,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening to show. We all show everybody live uh
- 11:09Speaker 1: and vivid color. So much to discuss? What a weekend final?
- 11:16Speaker 1: Oh J's tape is out? Just running Disney Dreamers Academy
- 11:24Speaker 1: is Yeah, Cleveland Packer got second places that don't matter.

- 11:49Speaker 1: were you this weekend? Went the sounds Bury Friday nights? Meryn,
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I thought you sent me something. You were
- 11:57Speaker 1: at the heart. I went there Sunday night with Wi,
- 12:00Speaker 1: my wife and kids. We went to the to the
- 12:02Speaker 1: Hot Music Award. Oh yeah, it was off the chain.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Where was it at the phone? They're always at the phone, Yes, sir, yes, sir, okay,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I didn't know that. I didn't know that. It's spring break, brother,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm about to do everything. I'm about to do the
- 12:21Speaker 1: Universal Studio Disney I'm doing. Spring break means nothing to
- 12:26Speaker 1: me anymore. I know nothing about that it's your spring break.
- 12:33Speaker 1: You have it. You asked me nothing. You go what
- 12:41Speaker 1: Steve Man, that's such a joy. I don't have to
- 12:45Speaker 1: take my kids to the mall, to the movie over
- 12:49Speaker 1: the friend's house. I don't what's yours? See I feel
- 12:55Speaker 1: the I think, Yeah, I think they grew up me fast.
- 13:00Speaker 1: They grow up to grow up fast enough for me.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I thought they was all on a damn delay. Out
- 13:11Speaker 1: my house, um dog, I'm I'm so happy. Get out
- 13:17Speaker 1: of my house with love, dog, get out my house.
- 13:20Speaker 1: A matter of fact, he got some money to move.
- 13:24Speaker 1: How about dad? Uh, I'm crying. Hey, all of them out.
- 13:31Speaker 1: One of the greatest things that's ever happened. But now
- 13:35Speaker 1: they are they often they're having kids. And when they
- 13:37Speaker 1: come back, they come back with more people. That's the
- 13:41Speaker 1: only thing about it, I tell you with and they
- 13:48Speaker 1: can't talk. Starting over again. I saw you at Disney
- 13:54Speaker 1: with your little grandson, just like Papa vo. Yeah said,
- 14:00Speaker 1: come on, man, we're gonna walk to the stage. This
- 14:03Speaker 1: a little bit walk. And I'm a baby. I do
- 14:07Speaker 1: everything and top speed. I run everywhere I go to.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I can't even breathe. No, yea, it looked like you
- 14:17Speaker 1: were dragging him a little bit, and then with his
- 14:20Speaker 1: time to go to sleep, he started crying, you don't
- 14:23Speaker 1: know what's happening to it down and he's trying to
- 14:27Speaker 1: fight it. Yeah, alright, we'll be back. Congratulations to the
- 14:34Speaker 1: class of Steve Harvey Disney Dreamers. We'll be back. You're

- 16:45Speaker 1: down here and explore the possibilities and in dreams and imagine,
- 16:50Speaker 1: and we discussed. My closing speech was all about imagination
- 16:54Speaker 1: and how important it is. And so many guests speakers

- 17:01Speaker 1: Michelle or your thanks, Alex English, Uh, Jonathan Sprinkles. What's
- 17:08Speaker 1: that lady name? I don't never know her name? What's
- 17:13Speaker 1: her name? Sonya Jackson, Miles Lord. I was doing names
- 17:19Speaker 1: and what's going down the road, and I got to
- 17:21Speaker 1: her and skipped over her, and she just dropped her head.
- 17:29Speaker 1: My daughters were there speaking again. Brandon, me and b
- 17:33Speaker 1: J hung out backstage a little bit. Your grandson he
- 17:38Speaker 1: eats his mama has him eating vegan snacks. These little
- 17:43Speaker 1: koe pumps, that little puffs of kale. He just cast
- 17:48Speaker 1: them around in the Canista, nasty ass snacking. This boy
- 17:54Speaker 1: right here, he loves me because when he come over
- 17:56Speaker 1: to me, I don't got nothing for him. But I
- 17:58Speaker 1: gave him his first sleep Jim over the house breaking in.
- 18:05Speaker 1: I gave him a slim Jim. Boy. He was sucking
- 18:06Speaker 1: on that meat stick so hard he couldn't if the jar,
- 18:09Speaker 1: and he was staring at it. Come on, come like
- 18:13Speaker 1: staring at it. I would have been so upset with
- 18:16Speaker 1: you if I was. She was, but we was at
- 18:22Speaker 1: the problem. The reason she had to hold on to
- 18:25Speaker 1: her ain'tle was we was in my house and so
- 18:30Speaker 1: my kids already. No, ain' don't need to get mad
- 18:33Speaker 1: at this food in his Damn he don't. I don't.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That's the one place I have when I ain't gotta
- 18:40Speaker 1: be nothing but me. Yeah, we met baby, We eat meat.
- 18:48Speaker 1: Come on there, I might feed you meat. All my
- 18:52Speaker 1: grandkids and had meat and kid when they come. Why
- 18:58Speaker 1: Why does why does b J always want to be
- 19:00Speaker 1: in your office? We got Jim slim slim jims in him.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I can't he get profile. I had barbecue in there
- 19:10Speaker 1: for the little vega, the vegan baby barbecue Did he
- 19:19Speaker 1: have teeth yet? Did he have you ain't got teeth?
- 19:24Speaker 1: He had his first baby back. At least I gave
- 19:26Speaker 1: him baby back. Oh baby, smoke them things right? Oh
- 19:33Speaker 1: babies and babies. You can't get babies food like that?
- 19:38Speaker 1: What do you mean? I can't get him food like
- 19:40Speaker 1: I can't get babies that kind of rich and smoky
- 19:43Speaker 1: food like that. So early it was raised like that
- 19:46Speaker 1: we got but baby, so I'm still let me back.
- 19:54Speaker 1: We didn't have a baby food. Talking about your can't
- 20:00Speaker 1: be your ship. Coma has one child. You are learning
- 20:08Speaker 1: as you go, that's all we all are as parents. Nobody.
- 20:12Speaker 1: I'm through. I'm through learning. And the grand baby is
- 20:18Speaker 1: getting beef stick. And he had his first baby back
- 20:22Speaker 1: half terrible, He ate three bones. See what I over?
- 20:31Speaker 1: When I said he would get sick? Whoa, whoa, whoa, Well,
- 20:36Speaker 1: why wouldn't make him? I'm just saying if if all
- 20:39Speaker 1: he's eating is vegan food, and you here, you come
- 20:41Speaker 1: with the beef and pork, you know, doesn't that changes?
- 20:45Speaker 1: It's fine. He has Harvey blood pos. That's where we're going.
- 20:54Speaker 1: This meat in his DNA. You know you're really not here, port,
- 20:59Speaker 1: You're not listening, boy, my father wanted great Bob, my

- 21:54Speaker 1: I need to clear my throat. Coming up in the
- 21:57Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Ms Anne's
- 21:59Speaker 1: gonna be here with you. Uh No, I don't see it,
- 22:03Speaker 1: not necessarily, you know. It was a rough coming up
- 22:09Speaker 1: the legal stuff in l A. No that I don't
- 22:16Speaker 1: think you want that. I don't know, but I don't
- 22:19Speaker 1: think so. Coming up at the top of the hour, Miss,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and we'll be here with today's national news and we're
- 22:27Speaker 1: gonna run down the winners from the I Heart Radio
- 22:30Speaker 1: Music Awards. But right now it's some Reverend Motown and
- 22:34Speaker 1: Deacon deaf jam. They are here with church complaints. Yes
- 22:37Speaker 1: we are we Today Cavil was again for incomplicity of
- 22:57Speaker 1: a bochery of complete. That's when it ends. Man. We
- 23:05Speaker 1: would expect them to be more grateful than they's, but
- 23:11Speaker 1: they ain't their fool. We have church complete. Yes we
- 23:17Speaker 1: go ahead. I passed the eye the wheelchair way Makers Ministry.
- 23:24Speaker 1: We'll be watching cars this Saturday, but they are letting
- 23:27Speaker 1: people know in advance at the top of the cars
- 23:30Speaker 1: will remain dirty. But yet well we'll look pretty awesome.
- 23:36Speaker 1: The members are asking for have price on the Why
- 23:38Speaker 1: the wheel chair way makers say they're not dropping their
- 23:41Speaker 1: prices for nobody will. The wheelchair way Maker Ministry has
- 23:50Speaker 1: never been able to do the tops of cars. So
- 23:53Speaker 1: I put into the church suggestion box on last Sunday
- 23:59Speaker 1: that since y'all can't do the tops, that y'all would
- 24:04Speaker 1: throw in undercarriage washing, cleaned off muscles and models and
- 24:15Speaker 1: and and all paying cleaner just go under there. Since
- 24:18Speaker 1: you can't do on tops of the car, and then
- 24:20Speaker 1: accomplsate for the extra money, Miss, I'm doing rooftops, got it?
- 24:26Speaker 1: Got it? Go ahead? You take that note to him,
- 24:28Speaker 1: all right, I'm here. We got past your sister Gracie
- 24:32Speaker 1: violetta dang yes, who shouts at the same time every
- 24:37Speaker 1: Sunday doing your salmon, wants to now get paid for it.
- 24:41Speaker 1: She feels she is your official hype woman. That's sister
- 24:47Speaker 1: Grace and electa damn we've all we are, me and
- 24:55Speaker 1: Sister Grace. You have entered into no such agreement nor ship.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Hell we all of my sermons are five field right.
- 25:07Speaker 1: She thinks she's a hype woman. She's just caught up
- 25:13Speaker 1: in the power. Come on that message. Yes, right, as
- 25:17Speaker 1: I do that at some churches that I visit, I
- 25:20Speaker 1: don't get a lot of shotting from our very own congregation.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Sister Sherlan, Sister Caller have been a witness to these
- 25:29Speaker 1: great sermons for years and have become now to the
- 25:34Speaker 1: affect and these two dry healthfuls and they don't put
- 25:41Speaker 1: money in the church either past and that's that's not
- 25:44Speaker 1: a damn quarter. Now. I have been trying to leave
- 25:47Speaker 1: you all won't let us. You can't leave because you
- 25:51Speaker 1: are a membership. We're the only church with gang rules
- 25:56Speaker 1: to blood out goodness. Only where you leave this church,
- 26:03Speaker 1: you got to die, pull out past. I don't know.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You go here, you tell me to pull. Okay, well
- 26:11Speaker 1: let's move along. Let's see. We haven't proud of that carcass.
- 26:14Speaker 1: We can't out us the Coradine Miller, her seeing eye
- 26:18Speaker 1: dog has a cataract in both eyes. He wants us
- 26:21Speaker 1: to get the dogs some glasses. He don't want to
- 26:24Speaker 1: give up. Buster. Now, as you know the dog well
- 26:27Speaker 1: with it's saying that accidentally took her to a bar
- 26:30Speaker 1: and they were both drunk and had to catch the
- 26:33Speaker 1: ride home, which was actually across the street. So I'm
- 26:37Speaker 1: very familiar with such a core dean, you know, being blood.
- 26:40Speaker 1: We had purchased that dog at a discount, our dog,
- 26:46Speaker 1: and the church didn't have the money for new seeing
- 26:50Speaker 1: our dogs. Who we her dog is whether old that
- 26:56Speaker 1: going to the ball wasn't an incident or bust dog
- 26:59Speaker 1: Bus of the German Shepherd goes to that ball regularly
- 27:03Speaker 1: to be so he can continue on. They put your
- 27:07Speaker 1: lick in the bowl on the floor, Buster, Buster the
- 27:11Speaker 1: jermanship Buster to the German Shepherd. He was already seventeen
- 27:17Speaker 1: when he bought code called Coral old too, so she
- 27:23Speaker 1: didn't need a quick dog. And I just figured why
- 27:27Speaker 1: not buy old dog for old person? They don't need
- 27:31Speaker 1: to spending all his money on the dog and the
- 27:33Speaker 1: dog I'll live the customer. I ain't pass why that
- 27:39Speaker 1: was our thinking on buying that old dog for sister
- 27:43Speaker 1: cold redee pastor? What you got seeing our dog out
- 27:48Speaker 1: live the client? What are suppsed to do? Yeah? He
- 27:53Speaker 1: just standing. He ain't got nobody to leave. You gotta
- 27:56Speaker 1: seat for somebody, you know you just somebody grabbed his
- 28:02Speaker 1: harness and needs some help. All right, I now passed
- 28:07Speaker 1: it back with me on this one here, this has
- 28:09Speaker 1: just come in. Two of our members, Monique and o J,
- 28:14Speaker 1: are trying to shoot a movie together called Hypothetically If
- 28:20Speaker 1: I had one and want the church to produce the film,
- 28:24Speaker 1: it's your call if you think this woul be a blockbuster? Yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 1: that's the title is hypothetically if I had one bath.
- 28:37Speaker 1: I think they've both spoken in hypothetical. Therefore, well, I
- 28:45Speaker 1: don't know where we're gonna be able to show it.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They've pretty much killed all distribution chills. I think you
- 28:56Speaker 1: should say that, oh you, I don't know. Hypothetically if
- 29:04Speaker 1: I had well, their friends ain't gonna be able to
- 29:07Speaker 1: see them o J friends is feel getting stabbed and
- 29:12Speaker 1: mony friends would go over there, but hell, all the
- 29:15Speaker 1: bridges is going. Man in the words that my granddaddy
- 29:26Speaker 1: passed that I don't burn the bread with me and
- 29:28Speaker 1: then asked me to send about hypothetically did you did
- 29:42Speaker 1: you want to do something that hypothetically path Well, hypothetically
- 29:47Speaker 1: we could show the film here at church. Okay? Do
- 29:53Speaker 1: you think we can possibly getting Netflix to look at
- 29:56Speaker 1: this and maybe pick it up? Oh? Hell? Oh you
- 30:02Speaker 1: think that first awful five grand half a minute? All right,
- 30:14Speaker 1: I don't think around certainly won't come back for it.

- 34:08Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody, This is a hand trip with the news.
- 34:11Speaker 1: President Trump spent part of this weekend on the stump
- 34:13Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania, and the Chief Executive was there supporting Republican
- 34:17Speaker 1: state lawmaker Rick that Cohn's reelection bidna peraps. Not unexpectedly,
- 34:21Speaker 1: Trump spent most of his time focusing on his own
- 34:24Speaker 1: re election bid. In he addressed his mostly white, mostly
- 34:27Speaker 1: male supporters, painting targets on the backs of two female lawmakers.
- 34:32Speaker 1: We have to defeat Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Water is
- 34:37Speaker 1: a very low i Q individual. Never see hi, you
- 34:42Speaker 1: ever seen you? Ever see her? We will impeach him.
- 34:46Speaker 1: We will impeach the preath. But he hasn't done anything wrong.
- 34:50Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. We will impeach you. She's a low
- 34:54Speaker 1: i Q individual. You can't help her. But you have
- 34:57Speaker 1: Maxine Waters, and you have plenty of others. Congressman Waters
- 35:00Speaker 1: is demanding an apology for that low i Q remark,
- 35:03Speaker 1: which he says is racist. You may remember that private
- 35:05Speaker 1: citizen Trump said he wanted to see former President Obama's
- 35:08Speaker 1: college transcript, suggesting that Mr Obama wasn't that smart and now,
- 35:13Speaker 1: According to a former Chief White House strategist of Steve Bennon,
- 35:16Speaker 1: though some members of the Trump administration have referred to
- 35:18Speaker 1: Mr Trump using words like moron. By the way, the
- 35:21Speaker 1: President now says his new slogan is keep America Great.
- 35:24Speaker 1: The White House, meanwhile, has announced the package of proposals
- 35:27Speaker 1: designed to combat all the school's shootings. White House spokes
- 35:30Speaker 1: and rob Shaw was on ABC's Meet the Press yesterday,
- 35:33Speaker 1: explained that the President doesn't want stepped up background checks,
- 35:35Speaker 1: but he does want better sharing of information. The President
- 35:38Speaker 1: has been clear that he does support raising the age
- 35:40Speaker 1: of one for certain firearms. There's gonna be recommendations to states,
- 35:45Speaker 1: a task force that will be a component of it
- 35:47Speaker 1: raising the age as well as mental health. Meanwhile, the
- 35:49Speaker 1: state of Florida passed its first bunch of gun control
- 35:52Speaker 1: measures in twenty years. Last week, they await Governor Rick
- 35:55Speaker 1: Scott's signature. Secretary State Direct Hilson on a five nation
- 35:58Speaker 1: trip to Africa. His business come, of course, in the
- 36:01Speaker 1: wake of President Trump's reported use of vulgar language to
- 36:04Speaker 1: refer to nations on that continent at the movies Black
- 36:07Speaker 1: Panther remained tops at the box office for the fourth
- 36:10Speaker 1: weekend in a row. It has now passed the one
- 36:14Speaker 1: billion dollar mark in ticket sales one billion dollars. Black Panther,
- 36:18Speaker 1: directed by a black director, Ryan Coogler, has made over
- 36:21Speaker 1: a half a billion dollars domestically, making it the number
- 36:25Speaker 1: two superhero release of all time. Black Panther has also
- 36:29Speaker 1: made over sixty six million this opening weekend this weekend
- 36:32Speaker 1: in China sixty six million in China. Meanwhile, Ava Durnays
- 36:36Speaker 1: A Wrinkling Time, I Gotta tell you made about thirty
- 36:39Speaker 1: three million. That's not that much, but it was its
- 36:41Speaker 1: first weekend and of course it had to go up
- 36:42Speaker 1: against Black Panther. However, younger and female audiences are expected
- 36:47Speaker 1: to keep supporting A Wrinkling Time for weeks to come,
- 36:50Speaker 1: eventually pushing up its box office numbers, so that that's
- 36:54Speaker 1: not you know, something that looks very very bad for
- 36:56Speaker 1: most people. They feel, well, you know, the people are
- 36:58Speaker 1: gonna watch it because it is beautiful. It is targeted
- 37:01Speaker 1: at young ladies and especially you know women, generally. Sad news,
- 37:04Speaker 1: one of the last Tuskegee airman has died. Floyd Carter, Sr.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Was ninety five, the Virginia native of New York City
- 37:10Speaker 1: native decorated veterans of Three Wars and later joined the NYPD,
- 37:13Speaker 1: became a detective and retired in nineteen eighty. Finally, Today's
- 37:17Speaker 1: National Napping Day. Thanks to that switch, todaylight saving time.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I feel sleepy too. Back with more entertainment. Today's trending
- 37:24Speaker 1: topics twenty miss after the how Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Steve,
- 37:32Speaker 1: the whole world was watching last night. I know you were.
- 37:35Speaker 1: When O J. Simpson uh confessed more or less his
- 37:40Speaker 1: special on Fox and Now. According to O J. Steve,
- 37:43Speaker 1: an imaginary friend named Charlie, Charlie warned him. Charlie warned
- 37:49Speaker 1: him that Nicole had been hooking up with another man,
- 37:52Speaker 1: so they went to her place. O J and Charlie.
- 37:55Speaker 1: They went to Nicole's place to confront her, but Ron
- 37:58Speaker 1: Goldman tried to intimid ate him with some sort of
- 38:01Speaker 1: karate thing. O J. Said, O RAW. Goldman was actually
- 38:06Speaker 1: returning the glasses right. He was returning that Nicole's glasses
- 38:09Speaker 1: that she had left in the restaurant earlier after he
- 38:12Speaker 1: had knocked the cold down. You didn't look up, but
- 38:17Speaker 1: he said tell Yeah, o J said she fell last night.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Yeah J. Whoa and he believes his life. So O
- 38:29Speaker 1: J said he grabbed the knife from Charlie. Steve. Well,
- 38:32Speaker 1: let's let's take a listen to O J. Let's just
- 38:35Speaker 1: go back and do the details. Where did your part
- 38:40Speaker 1: in the alley? Park in the alley and you put
- 38:44Speaker 1: on well cap and gloves. Uh? In hypothetical, I put
- 38:49Speaker 1: on cap and gloves, and um, you reached under the
- 38:54Speaker 1: seat for a knife. I always kept a knife and
- 38:59Speaker 1: not car for the crazies and stuff because you can't
- 39:02Speaker 1: travel with a gun. Wow, for the craziest. Yeah. O
- 39:10Speaker 1: J also discussed the glove and not remembering removing the
- 39:14Speaker 1: glove at the scene of the crime. Check this one out.
- 39:17Speaker 1: You right about removing a glove before taking the knife
- 39:21Speaker 1: from Charlie. Uh. You know, I had no conscious memory
- 39:27Speaker 1: of doing that, but obviously I must have because they
- 39:30Speaker 1: found a glove there. Wow. I mean, Steve, are you
- 39:39Speaker 1: spaceless right now? I watched the whole thing. First of all,
- 39:45Speaker 1: to do an interview like this talking about hypothetically, but
- 39:50Speaker 1: your children, who this was their mother? And you claim
- 39:54Speaker 1: to love so much. But you do an interview like
- 39:57Speaker 1: this claiming that you did kill these kids and mother.
- 40:01Speaker 1: That says a lot about you just as a human,
- 40:04Speaker 1: that something's wrong with you hypothetically are not. Yeah, and
- 40:10Speaker 1: then secondly, you forgot that it was hypothetical and you
- 40:13Speaker 1: was actually discussing the way you felt exactly. Steve, you
- 40:17Speaker 1: nailed it right there. How to hell you hypothetically discuss
- 40:21Speaker 1: how you felt hypothetically we're talking about all right, coming
- 40:30Speaker 1: up next, Wow, j Anthony Brown is gonna murder another hit.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Uh yeah, we're cutting here. Yeah, you're listening to the
- 40:39Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, Now before we
- 40:43Speaker 1: get to jo Anthony Brown, this is really big, big,
- 40:46Speaker 1: big news. For the first time, over two movies directed
- 40:51Speaker 1: by African Americans held the number one and two spots. Okay,
- 40:56Speaker 1: that's big. We're talking about Black Panther, of course, and
- 40:59Speaker 1: I'm one with forty four point one million dollars and
- 41:02Speaker 1: then a recal in time. You know, that's the movie
- 41:04Speaker 1: that starts Oprah and uh Reese Witherspoon. It was directed
- 41:08Speaker 1: by Oh Great Jay. It was directed by Ava duvernet Um.
- 41:13Speaker 1: She had a one hundred million dollar budget. We understand
- 41:16Speaker 1: that came in number two. It brought in thirty three
- 41:18Speaker 1: point three million dollars. So congratulations to Yeah, Wrinkling Time
- 41:23Speaker 1: is an excellent movie. Oh that's good. Good too. Well,
- 41:26Speaker 1: I'm not going to say. And our girl Cheryl Underwood.
- 41:31Speaker 1: You know she brought out a theater yet again in
- 41:33Speaker 1: l A for a bunch of kids to go see it.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Plus corn and drink. Yeah, Steve and Steve did it. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:42Speaker 1: all right, come on, Steve introduced ja. I to just popcorn.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I saw one board two pulling a box of raising
- 42:01Speaker 1: nets and milk DoD just in his mouth. I'm talking
- 42:04Speaker 1: about candy just rolling down his shirt free. Free. He
- 42:12Speaker 1: got box in each head. You your ants ain't going
- 42:20Speaker 1: to the movie. That's how he eat it it free though,
- 42:23Speaker 1: I mean, ain't mad at him. That's how you do.

- 42:51Speaker 1: trying to sell at least myself, just myself. No, you
- 42:57Speaker 1: got to share the money at the end of the night.
- 43:03Speaker 1: Number one movie in the country is What the Black Panther.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Number one song on Steve having on the show is
- 43:09Speaker 1: what the Fat Panther? Come on, get out, y'all all
- 43:16Speaker 1: right here that one day the pack away and he
- 43:49Speaker 1: didn't even show his food a lot of time, but
- 43:55Speaker 1: it was change his eyes and his stomach just brute
- 44:01Speaker 1: starting for seats from stealing treats. He'll bring was taken
- 44:07Speaker 1: my diet deal. It's flying around the world. Couldn't bring
- 44:13Speaker 1: any board and girls and he'll do it. You know,
- 44:17Speaker 1: chudge it's free. That's thatther that. Then he'll bring man
- 44:26Speaker 1: your food. That's the that's the that's what he does.
- 44:38Speaker 1: That's that. Then he'll bring manual food. That's then that
- 44:50Speaker 1: then you because that's what he does. That's that. Then
- 45:10Speaker 1: anthem those Steve Harvey f M today For those of
- 45:17Speaker 1: you who don't know what that soul, it's limba. That
- 45:20Speaker 1: was co limbo. But callimba. Oh yeah about this dass
- 45:29Speaker 1: for you all right, gran phone call one day with
- 45:33Speaker 1: the nephew Rob would make me play. You're listening to
- 45:37Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up at
- 45:41Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after Steve,
- 45:44Speaker 1: it's today's Strawberry letter. The subject your Mama has to Go.
- 45:51Speaker 1: That is the subject right here, right now. It is
- 45:58Speaker 1: the nephew with today's prank phone called what you Got Now.
- 46:01Speaker 1: I hate to break it to you, but y'all ain't married.
- 46:06Speaker 1: Y'all ain't married. I'm I'm I'm sorry, but y'all ain't married. Hello. Hello,
- 46:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah. How are you doing, Brian?
- 46:18Speaker 1: My name is Daniel H. Wanted to give you a
- 46:20Speaker 1: call today. You got a minute? Yeah, okay, listen, um,
- 46:25Speaker 1: you're you're Brian, Um, Brian, right, you're married to uh Alpea. Yeah. Hello, Hello, yeah, yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 1: that's that's me. That's my wife's Yeah, okay, I got
- 46:37Speaker 1: a question for you. Hello. Have you guys been married?
- 46:40Speaker 1: Going on nine years now? We've been married? Now? Who
- 46:43Speaker 1: is this? My name is Daniel, Were you um? Were
- 46:47Speaker 1: you guys married a Greater New Missionary Baptist church? Let
- 46:52Speaker 1: me see? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the name of
- 46:54Speaker 1: that church. Yeah, great by nine years? Yeah, that's right.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Why what's going on? What's your questions? Okay, do you
- 47:02Speaker 1: remember the minister that officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah? Uh,
- 47:09Speaker 1: Reverend right, Okay, I got the right person. I wanted
- 47:12Speaker 1: to make sure I had the right person, Brian. So
- 47:15Speaker 1: I'm I'm sorry if it seemed a little weird to you.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Here's here's what's going on. We've just come up with
- 47:21Speaker 1: a new discovery a lot of information that Reverend none
- 47:26Speaker 1: of his credentials are true. Everything is false. He's not
- 47:31Speaker 1: a minister at all, he never was a minister, and
- 47:34Speaker 1: every single wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically null
- 47:40Speaker 1: and void. So and I hate to be the bearer
- 47:43Speaker 1: of bad news, but you and Alphea, even though you
- 47:47Speaker 1: think you've been married for nine years, you guys are
- 47:49Speaker 1: not married. No, no, no, no, not that you gotta
- 47:54Speaker 1: have the wrong person, because then that then we got
- 47:56Speaker 1: we got married by nine years ago. And what I'm
- 48:03Speaker 1: telling you is he he never was ordained. He's never
- 48:07Speaker 1: been an ordained minister. He's not a minister at all.
- 48:10Speaker 1: So when he performed this ceremony, your wedding ceremony, he
- 48:14Speaker 1: had no right to be doing that. You guys are
- 48:16Speaker 1: not are not married. You know, you guys have been
- 48:19Speaker 1: living in Sin for nine years. Hold on, hold, hold
- 48:22Speaker 1: on that. Let me tell you something. I ain't been
- 48:24Speaker 1: living and my wife we have been married for nine years.
- 48:28Speaker 1: And that man he's a preacher. I'm telling he's a preacher.
- 48:31Speaker 1: Sunday Sir. As of today, he has he has no
- 48:35Speaker 1: right to be in anybody's pulpit. He has no right
- 48:38Speaker 1: to be officiating, whether it's weddings or funerals, no matter
- 48:41Speaker 1: what it is, christenings for children. He's not allowed to
- 48:44Speaker 1: do that. And we have officially stopped him from doing
- 48:47Speaker 1: anything serving under as being a pastor or a minister.
- 48:53Speaker 1: We have stopped that. But what I want you to
- 48:55Speaker 1: know is that you have been living in sin and
- 48:58Speaker 1: you don't you get that. We want to try and
- 49:00Speaker 1: get you guys married as soon as possible, so you're
- 49:03Speaker 1: not living in sin. Oh no, doc, I ain't been
- 49:06Speaker 1: living in no sin. I have been married for nine years.
- 49:09Speaker 1: This woman ship been taking care of me and my
- 49:11Speaker 1: kids for the past nine Wait. Wait a minute, wait
- 49:14Speaker 1: a minute. You guys have children. Yeah, yeah, we got
- 49:17Speaker 1: to two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay, then those kids
- 49:20Speaker 1: are bastards, satard on. Let me tell you something. My
- 49:24Speaker 1: kids ain't, no, bastard. What about your kids, your kids
- 49:26Speaker 1: in bastood? No, sir, my kids, my kids were born
- 49:29Speaker 1: in wedlock. Your kids have been born out. I'm telling
- 49:32Speaker 1: you that man did my service, and he is a preacher.
- 49:37Speaker 1: He's a man after God's own heart himself. He hasn't
- 49:41Speaker 1: done everything that that he comes for me and my family.
- 49:43Speaker 1: He is a preacher, Sir, I don't. I know it's
- 49:46Speaker 1: hard for you to to to swallow the truth, but
- 49:49Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I need you to
- 49:50Speaker 1: be able to tell Alfia that you guys are not
- 49:52Speaker 1: married and not as of right now. No, no, okay,
- 49:56Speaker 1: so hard a herder now, back in olden days, but
- 50:00Speaker 1: before all these, all these colleges and stuff came came about,
- 50:03Speaker 1: you telling me that their men making old days, that
- 50:06Speaker 1: they weren't no preachers, that they weren't meant men after
- 50:08Speaker 1: the cloughs? Is that what you're saying to me? Uh?
- 50:12Speaker 1: What what what are you? What are you? What are you?
- 50:13Speaker 1: What are you getting at? Sir? What I'm trying to
- 50:15Speaker 1: say is back in the older day making the twitters
- 50:17Speaker 1: and thirties, they didn't have all these colleges and all
- 50:19Speaker 1: these degrees and stuff like these new preachers got these days,
- 50:23Speaker 1: that man now he was from back then, and God
- 50:26Speaker 1: called them and that's what they went on to. And
- 50:28Speaker 1: all them people that they married back then, they did
- 50:31Speaker 1: the same thing to day. You don't need no degree
- 50:33Speaker 1: to say that that you're a preacher. You don't need
- 50:35Speaker 1: no lights to say you're a preacher. Men, my wife
- 50:37Speaker 1: would be maried for nine years. My kids have been
- 50:40Speaker 1: born in wedlocks. We were married, we were mad. I
- 50:44Speaker 1: read my friends and family day was all there, sir.
- 50:47Speaker 1: The bottom line is that that you have been living
- 50:49Speaker 1: in sin because you have not been married with your
- 50:52Speaker 1: wife for the last nine years. And your kids, I
- 50:55Speaker 1: hate to say it, your kids are pastors. Now. Oh
- 50:58Speaker 1: now I've told you. Don't say nothing else about my kids. Said,
- 51:02Speaker 1: I ain't no cuss up, but don't push me. My
- 51:04Speaker 1: kids ain't no bands, says. You're understand me. You don't
- 51:07Speaker 1: get me up, sir. I'm trying to give you the
- 51:09Speaker 1: truth and try to get you in here and get
- 51:10Speaker 1: you married so you will not be living in sin
- 51:12Speaker 1: any more than what you are. I am living in
- 51:15Speaker 1: no sins. Look, now, you don't make me whoop your
- 51:18Speaker 1: a s s you understand men, my wife we are
- 51:21Speaker 1: been married for nine years. Don't shoot up here, cord
- 51:25Speaker 1: me talking about the way ain't met that that man.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Ain't you're understand I get out of my phone. You
- 51:31Speaker 1: that's my life. Those are my kids. They have been
- 51:33Speaker 1: born in bed life. You understand, sir. So, I just
- 51:37Speaker 1: wanted to call and give you the information so that
- 51:39Speaker 1: you could probably stop living in sin. That's all I
- 51:41Speaker 1: wanted to do. I ain't living a no sin. That's
- 51:44Speaker 1: what I just told you. You ain't hear me. I
- 51:45Speaker 1: ain't living in no sin. Maybe you're the one that's
- 51:47Speaker 1: living a pist of sin. Now. You ain't got nothing
- 51:49Speaker 1: else said to me? That man that never nine years ago?
- 51:53Speaker 1: They get your a SS on my phone. So I so,
- 51:56Speaker 1: I have one more thing, one more thing I'd like
- 51:58Speaker 1: to say. You ain't done nothing else to say to me.
- 52:01Speaker 1: You ain't get your a SF off my d am phone. Now,
- 52:04Speaker 1: do you understand me? I ain't got time for this, sir?
- 52:07Speaker 1: Could I say one more thing? What you gotta say
- 52:09Speaker 1: on me now? Because I just wanted to let you
- 52:11Speaker 1: know that This is nephew Tommy from the Steve harp
- 52:14Speaker 1: In Morning Show. Your wife feel got me to prank
- 52:17Speaker 1: phone call you. Oh man? Oh lord, it doty uh

- 54:34Speaker 1: your mama. Mama has got to go. She's got to
- 54:38Speaker 1: get out of here. Your mom's gotta go, alright, too much,
- 54:41Speaker 1: she's gotta go. We gotta go to you're listening to
- 54:46Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, Steve. Before we got
- 54:50Speaker 1: to the Strawberry Letter, the subject your mama has got
- 54:53Speaker 1: to go. I'm the world champion Houston astro are going
- 54:58Speaker 1: visit the White House. Yeah, they're going. They're going. They're
- 55:03Speaker 1: gonna be in the East Room. Yeah. They will leave
- 55:05Speaker 1: their spring training facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, and
- 55:08Speaker 1: fly to fly to Washington. The President will speak, and
- 55:11Speaker 1: the Astros will present the President with a jersey every weekend,
- 55:19Speaker 1: every single weekend. Yeah. So, Steve, you have any advice
- 55:22Speaker 1: for the Astros? Yep, don't go take your ass up
- 55:28Speaker 1: there like I did. The whole baseball team gonna be
- 55:32Speaker 1: a bunch of Uncle Tom's and cool. Don't go up
- 55:36Speaker 1: there pass no, no jerseys. Don't go up there trying
- 55:38Speaker 1: to help. No damn body called social media ain't gonna
- 55:43Speaker 1: look at it. They're gonna tell you that the Golden
- 55:47Speaker 1: State Warriors didn't go, so your ass shouldn't win either.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I wish they would ask me to kill my ass.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I can't stay hill, No faster, Okay, I gonna say
- 56:03Speaker 1: another word, just one word alright on that note. Let's
- 56:13Speaker 1: move on, Hold on tight, we gotta pull you here.
- 56:17Speaker 1: It is, just draw up every letter, Thank you, have
- 56:19Speaker 1: you subject. Your mama has to go here. Stephen Shirley.
- 56:24Speaker 1: I'm hoping I can get some advice on this issue
- 56:27Speaker 1: because it's driving me crazy. My husband's mom has been
- 56:31Speaker 1: living with us and sleeping on my couch for the
- 56:34Speaker 1: past month. She left her boyfriend because of his drug
- 56:37Speaker 1: use and moved in with his with her elderly father.
- 56:41Speaker 1: One Saturday, she asked to come stay with us so
- 56:43Speaker 1: she could go to church with us the next morning. Well,
- 56:46Speaker 1: she never made it to church, and a month later,
- 56:49Speaker 1: she's still sleeping on our couch. We are in a
- 56:53Speaker 1: tiny apartment and she's not on our lease. My living
- 56:57Speaker 1: room looks like a campsite. I can't even have company
- 57:00Speaker 1: over anymore. She doesn't clean up after herself, she doesn't
- 57:03Speaker 1: help with the kids, slash her grandkids. She doesn't help
- 57:07Speaker 1: with the bills, nor does she buy food. She doesn't
- 57:10Speaker 1: have a car, so she borrows my husband's car, and
- 57:13Speaker 1: whenever I talk about her going back to live with
- 57:16Speaker 1: her father, she dances around the subject. My husband doesn't
- 57:20Speaker 1: think it's an issue. He says it's his mom and
- 57:23Speaker 1: she needs a place to stay right now, but she
- 57:26Speaker 1: will leave eventually. If our leasing office finds out that
- 57:30Speaker 1: she's still staying with us, we could all get put out.
- 57:34Speaker 1: I want her out of our tiny apartment. Dot dot dot,
- 57:39Speaker 1: I've had it. Please help. Well, I mean, it's just
- 57:43Speaker 1: nothing like being a prisoner in your own home. It's
- 57:46Speaker 1: nothing like that. Uh, this doesn't look like it's going
- 57:50Speaker 1: to be um a long time before your mother in
- 57:53Speaker 1: law gets out though. I mean, it looks like it
- 57:56Speaker 1: will be a long time, I should say, especially since
- 57:59Speaker 1: your husband and isn't on your side and you said
- 58:01Speaker 1: he doesn't think that it's an issue right now. This
- 58:04Speaker 1: is a very touch touchy subject because it is his mom.
- 58:08Speaker 1: But your husband needs to man up in this situation. Um,
- 58:11Speaker 1: he needs to man up. He needs to have a
- 58:13Speaker 1: conversation with his mother with you by his side, so
- 58:16Speaker 1: you can show her that you guys are a unit. Uh.
- 58:19Speaker 1: And you need to talk to her about her plans.
- 58:22Speaker 1: And he shouldn't put her above you. He just shouldn't
- 58:25Speaker 1: do that. He really really shouldn't. Everything should be done respectively,
- 58:29Speaker 1: of course respectively. But I just say, this is starting
- 58:33Speaker 1: to cause problems in your marriage. Uh. Your options are
- 58:37Speaker 1: to um, you know, you guys, get a bigger apartment.
- 58:40Speaker 1: I don't think you're gonna go for that because you
- 58:41Speaker 1: don't want her staying there, but um, you know, or
- 58:46Speaker 1: drive her back over there to her dad so she
- 58:48Speaker 1: can stay there. Pack her up and take her back
- 58:50Speaker 1: over there. Steve, Well, so you got tricked. See your
- 59:01Speaker 1: mama's husband been living with y'all, sleeping on the couch
- 59:04Speaker 1: for the past month. Now this now she left her
- 59:07Speaker 1: boyfriend cause it's drug use and moved in with her
- 59:10Speaker 1: elderly father. What's your where? She should have stayed here
- 59:14Speaker 1: but here The trick came one Saturday, she asked me
- 59:18Speaker 1: to come stay with us so she could go to
- 59:21Speaker 1: churchwood Is the next morning. Well, she never made it
- 59:27Speaker 1: to church, and a month later, she's still sleeping on
- 59:31Speaker 1: our couch. Let's just deal with this. For what you
- 59:36Speaker 1: should have did was made. I ain't get up and
- 59:39Speaker 1: go church. That's first day you're gonna get your ass
- 59:46Speaker 1: up and you're gonna go somewhere up in hill. Ain't
- 59:48Speaker 1: awhere in the where My dad would walk past that
- 59:50Speaker 1: couch and then he ain't going to wakome me in
- 59:52Speaker 1: net sleep. Somebody didn't get them to do so, So
- 59:55Speaker 1: you should have roused it her and got her up
- 59:59Speaker 1: at church. His mom s, I got it all. You
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: will are were You're just doing what mama said. You
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: ain't being me. Come on, Mama, let's go. As a
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: matter of fact, every time you go somewhere, you ought
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: to have her go with you. Work. Huh, work your boys, Mama,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: she never We're in a tiny apartment and she's not
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: on our least, and my living room looks like a campsite.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Then somewhere in the letter, she says, if our leasing
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: office finds out that she's staying with us, we could
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: all get put out. Here is the answer to this.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Notify de leasing office. That excuse me. We got too
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: many damn people staying in our apartment, and I think
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: it's some people in our apartment that ain't on the least.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Could you come by to them all knock, gonna do
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: and see who am nitch? Thatt ain't snitching? That's obeying
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the law. Listen, we got a new president called down
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: there the immigrations and tell them you're having illegal on
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: your couch. You don't get it, You don't get it.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Mama took downtown right away. Plastic times required, drastic measures.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I don't even see why we're worried about this. Here.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You can get her out your house, You can do it.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Shirley said her husband needs to man up. I disagree
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: with this because you all have to understand. So you
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: can't man up. If you're mama's boy, you can't be
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: mama's boy and my man at the same time. Women,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: y'all need to understand. Quit asking your alma's boys to man.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Do you understand? Okay, I'm just gonna say that to you. Now,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: let's get a couple other things straight. She don't clean
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: up after herself. What you should do is make it worse.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Put some more stuff on the couch. May Car had
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: to clear the couch off to even lay on me.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Do what's the bowling laundry up in there? You say
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: it's a tiny apartment. Put the iron and board crossing.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: I don't hope you gotta start you set the table
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: in there on top of the couch. All right, Come on,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response coming up Steve
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: A twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve Show.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: All right, coming up in about twenty minutes, we'll talk
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: more about the o J situation. In case you missed.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I don't know who missed it, though the interview, the
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: o J interview, A lot of people missed a lot
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: of people aren't interested yeah, yeah, that's true. But a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: lot of people saw it, a lot of people thoughts.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: We'll talk about that, but come on right now, Steven,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: give us your response, Part two of today's Strawberry Letter.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Your mama has got to go. Your fama got to go.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: She left her boyfriend because the drug used to moved
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: in with father. I didn't want to stand sad that.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: She asked, did she come stay with y'all so you
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: can go to church next morning? She didn't even go
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: to church. But she's still sleeping on our couch. And
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: we got a tiny apartment. She's not on the our lease.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: My living room looked like campsite. So now here's what
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: we have come up with. What have we ways to
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: get rid of your mama? First of all, notify the
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: leasing off Okay, let them know that there's someone in
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: your house that you did not it on the least
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: and they stay in there. Well, ma'am, do you know him?
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: I think so your law to come by and knock
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: and see for yourself. And oh, by the way, they
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: are in illegal age all of that, and just to
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: make sure they get out of there. I think she
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Mexic No, that's how you get them out quick because
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: we got Trump in the White House. Now this our
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Mexican mother in law gonna look a little bit darker
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: than you used to see it. But do not let
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: her complexion throw you because she's been in the sun.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: So now well it's too late, we can't. Secondly, she
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: doesn't buy any food. So here's the next method of
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: getting hurt. Stove hug. Put a padlock on the refrigerator
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: and combinations on the cabinets. Yeah, put one of them
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: coin operated slots on the bathroom though where it now
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: cause money to go in there. And if she do
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: go in there, charge her for tarlet Yeah, we charged
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: it for tle quarter sheet. Quarter a sheet a dollar
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: oftentimes won't get it there. Your quarter to get in here,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: but that ain't a surprise. It's a quarter a sheet
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: that's gonna wipe you out. And we need the money first. Yeah, man,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: next thing you need to do is you okay, First
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: of all, let me do this right here. She doesn't
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: have a call. She balls my husband's call. Okay, ain't
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: mal ride call uber yourself. Have them park out front.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Let that be the take off point for all they ride.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: And what she needed called to be on side that's
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: the take off point. Have an uber driver outside your house.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: My husband don't think is oh. And then next, get
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: her a bus pass, but not just any bus pass,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: a Greyhound summer bus. Get her ass out the house
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: and out the city at the same time. Tell her
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: where to catch it. She get up on the next thing,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: you know, she in no caroline. Everything looking good. Uh,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: my husband doesn't think this is an issue. Now we
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: gotta deal with your mama's board. Your next statement, when
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you get undressed and come out the show with neck
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: it is I don't feel right us in him making
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: love with your mama in the house. Shut off the
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: love making. We got to do something. Next thing you
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: wanna do is immediately inform him that he is sleeping
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: on the couch too, and your mama share that because
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you ain't sleeping in him on. Here's the next thing
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: you need to do to make shore she get her
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: ass out. Remove one cushion off that couch, that center

- 1:08:25Speaker 1: we're gonna notify the leasing office, let her notice and
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: the illegal immigrant in there, and according to Trump, we
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: should bring in ices. Okay, now that's right there. Tell
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: her and then tell elisan office. She is not a dreamer.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: She way too hold. Don't left her no loop holes
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: to jump through. She is not a dreamer, She's a schemer.
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Just get I asked in some Trump stop cut here
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: them all. I can't do this with you no more
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: long with your mama in there. I think that's the third.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Made him sleep on the couch with Hull. Here's another one.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I just came to make that couch totally. Take one
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: league off the couch, especially Rock. We gotta get out
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: of here. You can email us your Instagram what's your
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: thoughts on today's strawberry letter at my girls? Surely and
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: don't forget coming up in about ten minutes. Um, you're
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: gonna break down, Steve, You're gonna do this for us
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and move the dog in there on the couch with
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: put the dog bling it on the couch. All three
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: on the minute. We're gonna talk about o J and
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: the interview that he did yesterday on a Fox. Yeah.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Pretty much. He confessed that he did it hypothetically, of course,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: but pretty much he confessed that we're out, we gotta go,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: we'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Morning Show,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: all right, listen. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: it is back. Guess what's back, nephew. Weekend Confession. I'm
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: not here to help you. I just want to hear
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: what you going through, so called temmy, if you want
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: to confess eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Eight seven
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve. This is Steve's favorite segment, you know. Yeah,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: So okay, Steve. So last night you watched the O J.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Simpson uh interview the Lost Confession. Yeah. According to o J,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: an imaginary friend named Charlie warned him that Nicole had
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: been hooking up with another man. So O J and
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Charlie went to her place to confront Nicole, but Ron
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Goldman tried to intimidate him with the karate thing. O
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: J said, So, o J, grab the knife. JA looked
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: at him and said, oh you think you would mine? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: he said that on the interview. Yeah, that's what he said. Oh,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: oh you think you would mine? And what did Charlie say? Well, well, Charlie, Charlie,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Charlie Day forgot right, let's take a listen to o J.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: Let's just go back and do the details. Where did
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: your part in the alley? Park in the alley and
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: you've put on weld cap and gloves. Uh, And hypothetical
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I put on cap and gloves, and um, you reached
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: under the seat for a knife. I always kept a
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: knife and not car for the crazies and stuff, because
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: you can't travel with a gun. Right there, right there.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: We lost the hypothetical right there. Yeah, yeah, we lost
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Charlie in the hypothetical. The yeah, in the hypothetical. Did
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Charlie sit in the Yeah, he was in the car. Also,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: O J discuss the glove right about removing a glove
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: before taking the knife from Charlie. Uh, you know, I
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: had no conscious memory of doing that, but obviously I
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: must have, because they found a glove there. M hmm,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: so they're okay, I must have. I mean, this is crazy.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: How did you? First of all, how does your memory
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: go out on hypothetical situations? Right there you go? Now
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: all of a sudden, he remembers, though, I must have
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: because they found one there. But wait a minute, now, whoa, whoa?
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Remember this is hypothetical. Oh J. You know this guy,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: he's so arrogant, so wanting to be loved and accepted,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: so he thinks he's so smart. He's really he's not
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: a smart guy. He's not you know, he's not a
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: great guy. That made a mistake. See, great people can
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: make a mistake. There's some forgiveness for that. But you
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: abuse this woman repeatedly. This wasn't a one time I
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: was drinking, I lost my head. You repeatedly did this
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: to this woman. This wasn't a one time. In faces
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: not excusable whenever you do it. But you know, he
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: just never, he never. He just repeatedly did this to
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: this woman, even due I wish. At the end of it,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: when they the grave, the cemetery called the oh uh,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: Nicole's family was saying, oh J's out of dude. Graves
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: starting he's screaming at the grave because he was still angry, Steve,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: he was still angry. O j was right, And the
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: FBI profile is said, that's the thing about abusive people,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: because they have to have control. Even if they kill you,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: they're now mad at you because they lost control. You're
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: gonna be hand in my grave? What you're not gonna know? Yeah,
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: you're you're dead, You're probably not going to All right,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: here's Oja talking about his anger. If you're angry with
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: a person upon their death, when they die, it's not
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: like that anchor disappears. But right, and and and because
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: of the nine one one call, when I'm yelling at
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: her about what's going on, it was like I want
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: It's almost like I want to say I told you,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: didn't I tell you didn't? They say to you what, Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I want to talk to child, because CHILDI know that's
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: what we need to You were you were just listening
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: to Charlie. Yeah. It was so disturbing to me. And
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the fact that he kept laughing thing, you know, it
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: was just it's like, what are you so happy about? It?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Almost it was her fault for making him that angry. Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: that's exactly what it is. But I mean, I've always
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: said he did it ain't, but just do right here, man,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: if you're the guiltiest sounding, innocent person I've ever heard
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: in my mind, and you're the dumbest and you and
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: you and you don't get it, and you don't care
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: about your children, because there's no way you release this
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: book and say the things you said, and and those
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: children's mothers is gone and the vicious way that she
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: was gone, and he's because he only thinks of himself.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: There's no way you should do that to the kids.
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: You know already did it to the mom and the
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: other boy. Let me see in Flora. Let me see
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: if I see today, Well you Vegas now Flaida's happening.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: If I see him, I'm gonna cutting run. You're gonna
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: do what what? Jay cut to the left? Man, Yeah,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: if you didn't get a chance to see it, but
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: it was it was a confession, yeah, because he said
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: he grabbed a knife and then he said I grabbed
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: a knife from Charlie. Why that took so long to
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: be released, Well, they didn't release it. We hold okay, Tommy, listen,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: they had this interview, they were going to release it
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: to promote his book what if I did it? Okay,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: they stopped him from doing that because they didn't want
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: him to make any money on the book. Well, well,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: did you after listening last night? Would you be would
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: you buy a book? Then? Hey, we gotta go. We can.

- 1:19:08Speaker 1: talk this week. What did he say. Well, we were
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: actually on the parade and they set him in the
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: middle and next to him, and every time he turned,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: his ear kept hitting hitting my head and it started
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: scratching my head. It just hurting me. So I told Mickey,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I say, man screwed over a little bit. But he
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: just kept on waving and everybody turning. Every time I
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: turned with him, bigg as he to scrape up against
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: my ball head again and starting the ear take my head.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: So I leaned over again, I said Mickey, I said, hey,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: man just screwed over, just a little bit from him.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: The Disney rep turns around, said, Mickey has to sit
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: directly in the middle of the car. He cannot move.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Mickey has to stay directly in the middle middle of

- 1:29:24Speaker 1: Is he helping though? Right now? Help? Okay? Thank you?
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: G No that like your uncle. All right, let's go
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: let's go line six. We're gonna talk to Shelley out
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: of Atlantay. Go mona sounding. Good morning baby, what's your confession?
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: Good morning? Well, I had a little, let's understanding, the
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: tussle with the deacon over the weekend. With the deacon, what, yeah,
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: I had told well, after church, I was just explaining
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: I needed a few things done at the house because
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: he's sort of a handy man, you know, like my
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: windows and stuff with stuff and whatnot, and um, so
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: he came back to do that, and um when he
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: come in and everything. You know, I'm hospitable, as they say,
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: I offered them to, you know, something to drink. I
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: told him he go ahead to the fridge while I
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: get out my sound, you know, clothes. And I noticed
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: when I come back that he had a honeycount. So
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: I said, no, no, no, I didn't you know, diacons
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: don't drink con of him. But anyway, he needed to
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: go ahead. I'm sorry. He proceeded to go ahead and
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: do the work. And so I was upstairs, you know
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: because like I said, I must have changed my clothes
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: and everything, and then all of a sudden, packings upstairs.
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I said, well, you finished being, you know, because I'm
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: gonna pay him to leave. You know, I pay him
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: to leave, and the next thing I know, he goes
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: for my neck. Yeah, I like keeping the kiss on
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: your neck. Yeah, kiss on my neck. I don't know.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: If he had done something else to my neck, it
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: wouldn't be deacon wouldn't be here. So I just so
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: you know, I said, but what's going on? Deacon? I said,
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: wasn't that wasn't the hone And he's built something to
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: me that was shocking. He says, no, I understand, you've
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: been selling them for five years now on He told
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: us to the pastor, so what kind of church is
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: going on now? Was confident. Yes, he proceeded to do
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: something else, and then I was able to meet him,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: and the deacon was ready to leave. He felt, you
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: need I'm not catching no cases. He was okay, he
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: got up. Yes, he apologized. He probably understpped because I
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: got in there where it belongs. Then, you know, he apologized.
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: We gotta go. Oh my god, when we come back,
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: we're gonna close out the show. We'll be back. You're
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: listening to the String show. All right here we are,
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good day.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: Just one more thing. Steve is back with his closing remarks.
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: Please enlighten us, sir, what do you have for us today? Well, um,
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: here's something I thought would be helpful to people because
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: it has been really, really helpful to me. Um, I
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: want you to know the difference between two things. You're
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: gonna have your plan and you're gonna have your goals.
- 1:32:42Speaker 1: You're gonna have your goals and you're gonna have your plan.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: Please do not confuse the two, because your plan and
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: your goal is not the same thing, and you must
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: keep them separate and apart in order to be successful.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: Out here, see, so many people lose sight of the
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: goal because they're so focused on the plan and they
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: want everything to go as planned. They want to get
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: all their ducks lined up in a row, and they
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: want to just start knocking them down like a domino effect.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: And now they are and all of a sudden, there
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: at the goal. That is not how life works. It's
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: successful that easy, h I wish it was, but it's not.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: So What what do you mean by that, Steve, when
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: you say keeping the goal separate from the plan. Let's
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: say you're on the East coast, Let's say you're in
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: the Carolinas or Wilmington's Beach somewhere and you want to
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: go from there. Let's say you're in New York. Let's
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: just make it where everybody knows. Let's say you're in
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: New York. You want to go to l A. But
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: your plan is to go down take nine south until
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: you get to the twenty, and then you want to
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: take twenty all the way over as far as you can.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Then you want to drop down on the tin and
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: then you wanna take that on in the l A.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Ready break, that's the plan. But now remember the goal.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: The goal is just l A. Now what you have
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: to be prepared for in life, just like trying to
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: go somewhere, sometimes things are gonna happen. Sometimes there's bad weather,
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: Sometimes there's a detool set up, a road block. Sometimes
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: just a natural catastrophe occurs. Just things happen in life
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: all the time. Now, on your way from New York
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: to l A. Let's say you run into weather, a
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: catastrophe or data just close the section of a highway.
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: What you go gonna do? See you you now have
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: to make an adjustment in the plan. The goal is
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: still l A. But now the adjustment has to be made.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: So now what do you say? So now the plan
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: has to change. So now you can't get on twenty
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: no more and ride it all the way across. Now
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: you might have to take nine south all the way
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: down to the Tin. Then you might have to get
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: on the tin and go from Jacksonville all the way
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: over to l A. It's gonna take you longer. But
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: the goal is l A. Too many people get hung
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: up on the plan. When my plan is to go
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: to school. Now, then when I graduate, I'm gonna do this.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: Then I'm gonna go get a job at this. Then
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna go work here. Then i'm gonna get this
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: right here. Then I'm gonna go there. And as soon
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: as something happens along the way and the plan grow
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: grow goes awry, they change the plan and the goal
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: or well, I guess it wasn't meant to be. Oh,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I guess that wasn't the Lord's will. I don't listen
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: to me. The goal and the plan are two different things.
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: You've got to keep the two separated. I'll give you
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: another example. Let's say you want to become a millionaire,
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: and you decided that the way you're gonna become a
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: millionaires in the music industry. Also, you set out, man,
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna sell albums, Well, guess what. Selling albums is
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: a hard way to make a living now, because guess what,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: y'all know how to steal music now. So these young
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: people have sabotaged their own selves. So now they're the
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: most tech savvy group they've ever had. So now they
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: didn't take their way to where they can't even become
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: the musical icons they want to be, because now all
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: their music gets stolen as soon as they put it out.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: But your goal, what's to become a millionaire? So maybe
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: the plan has to be adjusted along the way. Your
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: plan and will constantly constantly change. Listen to me, your
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: plan should flow like nature. I don't know if you've
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: ever looked at nature, but every aspect of nature I
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: look at, I very rarely see a straight line in nature.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: I very rarely see perfectly straight line that goes from
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: a long point away from one another. I've never seen
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: a very very long, perfectly straight line in nature. No
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: river is straight, no ocean is straight, no wave is straight,
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: no cloud is straight, no ripple in the water is straight.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: No blade of grass is straight, No bushes or straight,
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: no trees or straight. No birds fly straight, No birds
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: wings are straight. Nothing I see no animals legs are straight.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Nothing I've ever seen in nature is straight. But yet
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: nature is the most beautiful thing out there because it
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: has contools and movement to it. Your plan has to
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: have contools and movement to it, and sometimes you have
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: to adjust the plan. The goal can still be a million,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: the goal can still be l a but be prepared
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: to make adjustments along the way. And just because you
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: make adjustment, those that have to change the goal, It
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: just changes the route to get to the goal. Those
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: are my clothing that should be helpful to somebody to go. Yeah,
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: it helped me. Thank you. Yeah, you have a great weekend.
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: About it's coming and I'll be off this weekend. Yeah.
