- 2:04Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice. Come on dig me nah,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay,
- 2:12Speaker 1: here we go today, folks. This is a good one
- 2:15Speaker 1: because today I want to share with you something that
- 2:20Speaker 1: affects every living soul, and that one thing is your attitude.
- 2:27Speaker 1: This affects everyone. It is your attitude. You know. I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I mean
- 2:39Speaker 1: many of you who listen know this, but there are
- 2:42Speaker 1: a lot of people who don't understand. A positive attitude
- 2:48Speaker 1: can bring about a change. A positive attitude can bring
- 2:53Speaker 1: about a change. Well, now here we go with the
- 2:56Speaker 1: nay says, well, Steve, what you mean if I'm just
- 2:58Speaker 1: positive being changed? Nor my mama go on? What me
- 3:00Speaker 1: being positive got to do with that? Okay, now listen
- 3:03Speaker 1: to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I hear you saying that, but they didn't fired me.
- 3:13Speaker 1: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:16Speaker 1: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:20Speaker 1: one more time, a positive attitude can bring about change.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Or Steve, I set up in here and gave eight, nine,
- 3:31Speaker 1: twelve years of my life to this man and he
- 3:34Speaker 1: just he cheated on me and walked out. Now what
- 3:37Speaker 1: does me being positive have to do with him cheating
- 3:40Speaker 1: on me? How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we
- 3:44Speaker 1: go again. A positive attitude can bring about change. And
- 3:49Speaker 1: listen to the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and
- 3:54Speaker 1: the change that can happen starts. This is the start.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It starts within you. See, life is ten percent of
- 4:07Speaker 1: what happens is what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:13Speaker 1: He cheated and left you hold in the bag, the
- 4:15Speaker 1: kids and everything. Now what does being positive have to
- 4:19Speaker 1: do with changing that? Or they came in and they
- 4:22Speaker 1: fired you. You lost your job that you was a
- 4:24Speaker 1: stellar performer at. But now how does you having a
- 4:28Speaker 1: positive attitude? How does that change things for you? So far?
- 4:33Speaker 1: You can use any example. Here's what happens when you
- 4:37Speaker 1: have a positive attitude. What it produces within you is
- 4:42Speaker 1: a positive approach to life. And when you have a
- 4:46Speaker 1: positive attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes
- 4:50Speaker 1: you to be optimistic, to have a positive out a
- 4:55Speaker 1: look to expect things to eventually turn around, and and
- 5:01Speaker 1: and and turn into a positive That's very important because
- 5:05Speaker 1: as the law of attraction comes into play, if you
- 5:09Speaker 1: think positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If you think
- 5:15Speaker 1: evil thoughts, you attract evil to you. You know, if
- 5:20Speaker 1: you want for nothing, then nothing comes your way. If
- 5:23Speaker 1: you want for a positive attitude, if you want for
- 5:26Speaker 1: positive results, if you want for a great outcome, that's
- 5:29Speaker 1: what you attract to you. The change will begin within you.
- 5:33Speaker 1: So let's take the man that walked out your life
- 5:36Speaker 1: and left you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:41Speaker 1: two things have happened as positive here. Number one, you've
- 5:45Speaker 1: ridd it yourself of someone who is obviously going to be,
- 5:49Speaker 1: if not already been, toxic in your life. Cause you
- 5:52Speaker 1: many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings, an uneasiness,
- 5:58Speaker 1: not sure, insecure. You've been going through it with this person,
- 6:02Speaker 1: whoever they are. Number one, that person has been released
- 6:05Speaker 1: from your life. Number two, It allows you now to
- 6:10Speaker 1: have the someone who will treat you just the way
- 6:13Speaker 1: you want to be treated. That's the positive outlook, that's
- 6:16Speaker 1: the optimistic way. That's when you're a positive person. You
- 6:20Speaker 1: see the positive in things that happen to you, instead
- 6:23Speaker 1: of burying yourself under the horse wrong with it, a
- 6:26Speaker 1: old woe is me? Now? Concept see a positive attitude.
- 6:31Speaker 1: When they came in there and they fired you and
- 6:33Speaker 1: let you go, could this not have been just the
- 6:37Speaker 1: opening you needed to finally start on a new career
- 6:41Speaker 1: path that you've been talking about doing anyway? Could it
- 6:44Speaker 1: possibly be a brand new chance for you to get
- 6:47Speaker 1: the dream job or dream career of your choice. Could
- 6:52Speaker 1: it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for you
- 6:56Speaker 1: to finally finally do something about that gift, about that
- 7:01Speaker 1: talent that God gave you, that thing that you love
- 7:04Speaker 1: to do. Could it not be the perfect time for
- 7:07Speaker 1: you to pursue that. But if you don't have a
- 7:09Speaker 1: positive attitude, then you lay there, Oh they finned come
- 7:13Speaker 1: getting my house? Oh what I'm gonna do now? All
- 7:17Speaker 1: this unemployment ain't enough? Oh? Lord, when this unemployment run out,
- 7:21Speaker 1: what am I gonna do? Then I won't have nothing?
- 7:24Speaker 1: And you old woe is me until you become old
- 7:27Speaker 1: woe is me. But if you take it from the
- 7:30Speaker 1: positive approach, some amazing things can happen in your life.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I will tell you on a personal note, that's some
- 7:38Speaker 1: of the most some of the best changes, some of
- 7:41Speaker 1: the biggest moments in my life came after a loss.
- 7:45Speaker 1: So I don't want to go down on the list,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but boy, I could tell you. Let me, let me
- 7:48Speaker 1: tell you something. When they didn't want me on the
- 7:50Speaker 1: radio anymore in La, when they didn't when they was
- 7:54Speaker 1: sick of the way I did radio out there and
- 7:56Speaker 1: they wanted me gone. And on May twenty third, two
- 8:00Speaker 1: thousand and five, when my when when when my deal
- 8:06Speaker 1: was done with the beat out in La? Okay, look
- 8:12Speaker 1: what happened though, y'all. I was gone in May. But
- 8:15Speaker 1: in September nineteenth I started to Steve Harvey Radio Network
- 8:19Speaker 1: with four cities. You see. But I didn't go old
- 8:23Speaker 1: war was me? I said, Oh, okay, God must have
- 8:28Speaker 1: something else from it then, because if he didn't remove
- 8:31Speaker 1: me from this, that must be something else. Same thing
- 8:33Speaker 1: can happened when you lose and you and you and
- 8:35Speaker 1: you break up in a relationship, same thing can happen
- 8:38Speaker 1: to you. You never know the one God God for
- 8:40Speaker 1: you that here you go, here you go again. Now
- 8:43Speaker 1: you get put into a situation with somebody, treat you
- 8:46Speaker 1: just the way you want to be treated, provide you
- 8:48Speaker 1: the whole lot of aspects of your life you knew
- 8:50Speaker 1: nothing about prior to that. But you gotta stay positive.
- 8:53Speaker 1: If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that optimistic outlook,
- 8:59Speaker 1: that that always thinking God got me no matter what
- 9:03Speaker 1: happened to me, some amazing things that's going can will
- 9:06Speaker 1: happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't know
- 9:09Speaker 1: how it works that way. I just know that's what
- 9:12Speaker 1: it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get off
- 9:15Speaker 1: the old woe is Me negativity train because it ain't
- 9:18Speaker 1: gonna take you nowhere but down and get get your
- 9:20Speaker 1: outlook up. If you change your attitude, you change your altitude.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Altitude is determined by your attitude. How high you go,
- 9:30Speaker 1: how big you become, how far you go. It all
- 9:33Speaker 1: depends on how you think. It all depends on what
- 9:36Speaker 1: type of attitude you got. It ain't no ain't no
- 9:40Speaker 1: very very successful, super negative people. It just doesn't coincide
- 9:45Speaker 1: that way. If you see that something that happened to
- 9:47Speaker 1: them along the way, And don't worry. You ain't gonna
- 9:49Speaker 1: weary about it because you ain't gonna see them long
- 9:51Speaker 1: because you can't stay up there like that. It's just
- 9:53Speaker 1: too hard, all right. That's the conversation you're listening, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. The time has come. The Steve Harvey Morning
- 10:06Speaker 1: Show is sitting at the doorstep of reality, of mourning,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and on the doorstep of gratitude. Open the door to
- 10:16Speaker 1: your heart and let me eat. Boy, that was my
- 10:26Speaker 1: opening door to Dramatics, moved door to your heart? Who
- 10:30Speaker 1: water the coldest dawn in the cupboard? Oh gosh, how
- 10:36Speaker 1: to share in the basement, in the dog, oh anywhere?
- 10:45Speaker 1: See if there a place for me in your heart? Loo,
- 10:59Speaker 1: that's my jam, boy, you don't even understand. If you
- 11:04Speaker 1: got time to day, download Door to your Heart by
- 11:07Speaker 1: the Dramatics, one of the coldest love songs. Boy, I
- 11:11Speaker 1: found out about it from you. I had ye heard
- 11:14Speaker 1: that it was never a hit. It was on the

- 11:28Speaker 1: All I know is that in the rain, and what
- 11:30Speaker 1: you see is what you get. What you see like
- 11:36Speaker 1: a love. You know, some people may eat a plastic Boy,
- 11:43Speaker 1: that was a jail. They got jam shot, not by
- 11:51Speaker 1: anything they had. Boy, they had some hits, but I
- 11:57Speaker 1: thought one way remade that surely just shopping. I didn't
- 12:01Speaker 1: know it was a dramatic. I don't know where your
- 12:04Speaker 1: dramatics jair one way, no no South, no song we
- 12:13Speaker 1: got offended, my man? No no one way? Hell okay,
- 12:17Speaker 1: one way to one one to make cutie Poe. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:22Speaker 1: one way hell no damn dramatics. Take shot out to
- 12:30Speaker 1: said one way, Ron Banks l j Rynolds Dramatic World,

- 12:42Speaker 1: right quickly, man, Come to tell you, man, I didn't
- 12:45Speaker 1: know all these souls make you feel like this would
- 12:48Speaker 1: They'd be singing about what they were doing, just shopping,
- 12:50Speaker 1: not buying, then sing right, God, I just never heard
- 12:59Speaker 1: these must be falling in love? What's your baby? What's
- 13:06Speaker 1: that other? Jam? Uh? Like wheel whirling round and round,
- 13:14Speaker 1: roping down to hell, spinning on the ground. Your kisses
- 13:22Speaker 1: make me deasy in the head. Now I'm falling, yeah, falling. Whoa,
- 13:35Speaker 1: here I go wall down and down I go. I
- 13:41Speaker 1: can't help myself. You're listening, show, it is time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: to start your morning off with the nephew and run
- 13:50Speaker 1: that frank back. What you got now? Chopper's funeral at
- 13:54Speaker 1: the club, let's go cat, y'all trying to reach out
- 14:00Speaker 1: James James, James, Yeah, Yeah, what's up? Hey, this this
- 14:04Speaker 1: is a Gerald. Uh. I was a friend of uh,
- 14:08Speaker 1: your your friend Chopper. Yeah, and the Chopper just uh
- 14:13Speaker 1: passed away last week, right, I know they posed how
- 14:18Speaker 1: the funeral and stuff over at uh at my adoptist church,
- 14:22Speaker 1: and uh, I don't really know you, but me, Me
- 14:25Speaker 1: and me and Chopper and a bunch of rest us. Man,
- 14:27Speaker 1: we used to hang out at the club not too
- 14:30Speaker 1: far from the house. You know. That's pretty much where
- 14:32Speaker 1: Chopper woold all the time. And at the club anyway,
- 14:35Speaker 1: what a bunch of us was over at the club talking, man,
- 14:37Speaker 1: and I was we was really want to reach out
- 14:40Speaker 1: to one of the family members, you know, And then
- 14:42Speaker 1: somebody said you was, you know, kind of a good
- 14:44Speaker 1: friend of his. And when we we we we decided
- 14:49Speaker 1: to call you and see if you didn't mind. Do
- 14:51Speaker 1: you think that you can talk to uh some of
- 14:55Speaker 1: the family members and see if they don't mind having
- 14:59Speaker 1: the funeral at the club. At the club. See what,
- 15:04Speaker 1: let me let me try to explain something to you, Jane.
- 15:07Speaker 1: What we're trying to do is, see, we believed that
- 15:10Speaker 1: we believe you said at the club. Come on the club.
- 15:14Speaker 1: There's a funeral. And I understand it. But see, chop
- 15:18Speaker 1: Choppa ain't really go to church a whole lot. You
- 15:20Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. He didn't really really go long
- 15:22Speaker 1: as I've been knowing him. Now, he loved a Lord
- 15:25Speaker 1: and stuff like that, folks, I understand, But see Chopper
- 15:31Speaker 1: wouldn't Chopper Chopper went to the club. So what I'm
- 15:35Speaker 1: asking you is, let's have the funeral at the club. Hell, no, bro,
- 15:40Speaker 1: come on, we can't have no funeral at no club. Man,
- 15:44Speaker 1: Come on, No, no, I can't. But but what I'm
- 15:48Speaker 1: saying is is that he wasn't really he wasn't really
- 15:51Speaker 1: no church going person. I believe that a person ought
- 15:55Speaker 1: to be uh. The last words are to be said
- 15:59Speaker 1: over him in a place he's more familiar with you
- 16:02Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Player, player, No, I don't. I
- 16:05Speaker 1: don't know what you mean. Players. No, just just gotta
- 16:07Speaker 1: be a funeral. This, this is this is church for
- 16:09Speaker 1: I go to church and all my folks go to church.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Now we gotta do this thing up in church. This
- 16:14Speaker 1: is a church thing. But you don't, you don't feel
- 16:16Speaker 1: But do you understand why I'm coming from. No, that
- 16:18Speaker 1: man ought to going on and and the last words
- 16:21Speaker 1: are to be in a place he more familiar with. Now,
- 16:23Speaker 1: if he went to church, then I understand that. You see,
- 16:26Speaker 1: oh broll no, no, see, it's his chance to get
- 16:30Speaker 1: itself right. We don't we don't have him up in
- 16:32Speaker 1: church in front of everybody. You know, that don't make sense?
- 16:37Speaker 1: Who's this again? I mean, who are you? My name Gerald?
- 16:40Speaker 1: But who is Gerald? I mean? How do you? How
- 16:42Speaker 1: do you relate to this? Are you preacher? Are you? No? No?
- 16:46Speaker 1: You no, no, no, no, I'm I'm I was friends
- 16:49Speaker 1: with Chopper and see I hung out at the club
- 16:52Speaker 1: and still hang out there with a whole bunch of
- 16:55Speaker 1: you know, was real good friends with Chopping and we
- 16:57Speaker 1: were saying that, you know, Chopper's lads words about Chopper
- 17:02Speaker 1: or to be said at the club or see, that's
- 17:03Speaker 1: what Choppa was. But five six days a week, that's
- 17:06Speaker 1: what Choppa was. Yeah, but what church are you affiliated with?
- 17:09Speaker 1: I mean, why the hell? What I try to talk
- 17:13Speaker 1: to the family, make me look stupid in front of
- 17:15Speaker 1: the family, telling them to put the thing in a club?
- 17:18Speaker 1: How that gonna go off? Well? See, see that's what
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm saying. You know them way more than we do,
- 17:23Speaker 1: because you're talking about trying to move from and damn
- 17:26Speaker 1: funeral at a church to a damn nightclub or strip
- 17:29Speaker 1: club or something. No, not no strip club, just a nightclub.
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's the same thing, ain't it. I mean you're talking
- 17:35Speaker 1: about having folks travel from across the country and meeting
- 17:39Speaker 1: into the damn club. What kind of that? But that's
- 17:42Speaker 1: what Choppa was. That what Choppa was. I'm gonna look,
- 17:46Speaker 1: if I'm the one telling them to root it to
- 17:48Speaker 1: the damn club, You're gonna look like somebody that's trying
- 17:51Speaker 1: to I'm gonna look like a fool. No you're not.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You're gonna look like somebody that's trying to keep it
- 17:55Speaker 1: real when come to the damn feeling. If I will
- 17:57Speaker 1: to do something like that, Okay, Okay, let me and
- 18:00Speaker 1: you this hit in. Let me ass you this hill
- 18:02Speaker 1: or Jane, do you think do you think you can
- 18:05Speaker 1: maybe get the body and bring it over to the club. Well,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I'm just saying before they even do the funeral or whatever,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I ain't touching getting the walk in the dog by
- 18:18Speaker 1: myself body for him. No all, we're just trying to
- 18:22Speaker 1: say our last words. And chopper Man in a place
- 18:25Speaker 1: that chopper most no Hillmer again, who you you get
- 18:30Speaker 1: my number? Somebody at the club had your number, said
- 18:32Speaker 1: you was print. But why y'all called me? Of all folks,
- 18:37Speaker 1: y'all call me, They say you good. You in with
- 18:39Speaker 1: the family and you can tell me the family. But
- 18:41Speaker 1: I ain't in the samler make me look stupid. Hell, No, won't, y'all.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I get yall the number to the family. Y'all call
- 18:49Speaker 1: the family, y'all tell them that yourself. Man, I won't.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I just want trying to get you to brain the
- 18:53Speaker 1: body by man and let us no, I ain't touching
- 18:56Speaker 1: no dead body. We just want to have one last drink.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Chopper Man, you have one with your boys, and you
- 19:03Speaker 1: get together with him and y'all talk about bottom and
- 19:07Speaker 1: let him know I Chopper one, what kind of prisony was?
- 19:09Speaker 1: What kind of prison? But we need to we won't
- 19:12Speaker 1: chop up to be there. This Chopper, this is Chopper
- 19:14Speaker 1: you talking about? Man, Bring y'all to the church. Y'all
- 19:19Speaker 1: need to be up in the church. We want to
- 19:21Speaker 1: have Chopper at the club. We weren't on them a man,
- 19:24Speaker 1: y'all fuller well, we know have looking like a fool
- 19:28Speaker 1: at the damn funeral. Just about Chopper though, And then
- 19:32Speaker 1: I'm writing about Chopper. You break Chopper to that club,
- 19:35Speaker 1: y'all tripping, man, I ain't doing I'm just going to
- 19:38Speaker 1: this funeral. I'm gonna care to family what I think
- 19:41Speaker 1: about Chopping, And I'm moving on. If y'all want to
- 19:44Speaker 1: clays in front of town of y'all call the town
- 19:45Speaker 1: of y'all seventy. Then look, I got one more thing

- 21:11Speaker 1: other entertainment news. Yeah, yeah, reenact me. Yes, Yes, they
- 21:20Speaker 1: have a brand new documentary. We'll talk about it, plus
- 21:23Speaker 1: an other entertainment news. Producers of the ninety fifth Oscars

- 21:30Speaker 1: they decided to cut them out. We'll talk about all
- 21:32Speaker 1: of these stories, like I said at the top of
- 21:34Speaker 1: the hour, but right now it is time to ask

- 21:54Speaker 1: it's getting hotter now. So how do I get him
- 21:57Speaker 1: to take a shower after his evening run? He can't
- 22:00Speaker 1: get in the bed. Yeah, y'all know how to do it. Y'all.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Woman can stop a man from getting the bed. Ah,
- 22:07Speaker 1: you're not getting in here. Take a shower because nagging.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Nagging is very effective. Get nato. Yeah, well I must

- 22:26Speaker 1: show out in the morning, like you know, just just running.
- 22:32Speaker 1: And that's too much. See. I don't like that sticky feeling. Yeah.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I can't even sleep good like that. I like my
- 22:39Speaker 1: skin moving smooth on the sheets and stuff. I don't
- 22:42Speaker 1: like when my legs and thighs is under arms, is touching,
- 22:45Speaker 1: getting stuck. That's a that's an uncomfortable man. Get yours.

- 23:03Speaker 1: All right. Jasmine in Springfield says I'm twenty eight years
- 23:07Speaker 1: old and I was stating a man that is overweight
- 23:09Speaker 1: and unattractive. Never in a million years did I think
- 23:13Speaker 1: he cheat on me. I'm in shape and beautiful, but
- 23:16Speaker 1: he cheated. Anyway, she says she's dating. Yeah, she's dating
- 23:21Speaker 1: him at twenty years old. He's overweight, unattractive, okay, And
- 23:25Speaker 1: her question is, cello, why aren't men ever satisfied, especially
- 23:32Speaker 1: especially the ugly ones, particularly because you're ugly, fat, overweight,
- 23:37Speaker 1: ugly as man got money, which is why you wit
- 23:40Speaker 1: him in the first place. Let's stop this. If you
- 23:42Speaker 1: ain't waiting for his weight, and you ain't waiting for
- 23:45Speaker 1: his attractiveness, then what's the pool is he bought you
- 23:48Speaker 1: stuff and took care of you. That's why you with him. Hey,

- 24:04Speaker 1: stop this. He's overweighting, unattractive. What you're waiting for? Call sup?
- 24:11Speaker 1: What he'd do? You all will overlook weight and looks
- 24:16Speaker 1: if a dude can give you the lifestyle, you won't,
- 24:19Speaker 1: and women do it all overlook, overlook a multitude of sins.
- 24:32Speaker 1: If he can give you the lifestyle and take care
- 24:34Speaker 1: of you the way you wanted to care, please a girl,
- 24:42Speaker 1: I know that's the truth. So this she rode in,
- 24:44Speaker 1: Why can't he because that bait worked for you. He
- 24:50Speaker 1: gonna spread this bait around. He got money for that
- 24:53Speaker 1: other girl too, so she get a broke U. Why
- 25:01Speaker 1: don't you try getting somebody to care about you. See
- 25:05Speaker 1: that's where you start. Get somebody to care about you.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Get somebody you can build something together. See when y'all
- 25:12Speaker 1: get these ready made men that ain't really ready made,
- 25:16Speaker 1: ain't really made, I think it ain't. No ugly cheetahs
- 25:21Speaker 1: out there, that's what they think. I don't know why, man, please,
- 25:27Speaker 1: he said, tell them Tommy, some ugly cheetahs out there.
- 25:32Speaker 1: All right? Moving on, Jasmine, I hope you got the message.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Marquise and key West says um, I've been dating a
- 25:40Speaker 1: woman for three years, but I don't love her romantically,
- 25:43Speaker 1: and we haven't had sex this year. This is I
- 25:47Speaker 1: do value our friendship and I wouldn't want it to
- 25:51Speaker 1: end because I broke up with her. Is it possible
- 25:53Speaker 1: to remain close friends after a breakup? I ain't it,
- 25:57Speaker 1: March March fellow. I don't. I don't understand that. I mean,
- 26:07Speaker 1: I don't know why you with somebody you ain't in
- 26:09Speaker 1: love with for three years? See you see you don't
- 26:12Speaker 1: got used to her. It's easy to be with her.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You ain't in love with her if you ain't had sex, Di,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you ain't had sex with her this year? Well? Actually, fair, yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: we haven't had sex. No no, no, no, no, no
- 26:28Speaker 1: that he had sex? Right, he's having it. Yeah, he
- 26:33Speaker 1: ain't had it with her her right, So it's because
- 26:37Speaker 1: you ain't in love with her. Dog, you don't. You
- 26:39Speaker 1: don't outgrew it. Why don't you get somebody you love?
- 26:42Speaker 1: See you value the friendship? Why don't you tell her
- 26:44Speaker 1: you just want to be free and see how that go? Now?
- 26:46Speaker 1: She gonna stalk you, and I want you to be looking.
- 26:50Speaker 1: I want you, Yeah, she gonna stalk you, dog, Yeah,
- 26:53Speaker 1: And I want you to be aware of a couple
- 26:55Speaker 1: of things too, because listen to me. Listen to me closely. Dog.
- 27:00Speaker 1: If you walk out of building, always look at your
- 27:04Speaker 1: clothes when you walk out of a building. Wait, what
- 27:07Speaker 1: always look at your clothes when you walk out of
- 27:11Speaker 1: what's that far because it could be a red dot
- 27:13Speaker 1: on your shirt. He is close to the street on
- 27:19Speaker 1: top of building, and she can take your ass out.
- 27:23Speaker 1: You can tell her. Yeah, I'm gonna and tell her
- 27:26Speaker 1: you just won't be friends if you want to. I'm
- 27:28Speaker 1: just letting you know. That's all I'm gonna say. See, hello,
- 27:33Speaker 1: women put men in the friend zone all the time
- 27:35Speaker 1: if they Yeah, but y'all don't like getting put in
- 27:38Speaker 1: it though, especially if y'all been now, especially after y'all
- 27:42Speaker 1: been doing more than friendly stuff. Now oh now, oh
- 27:45Speaker 1: you don't want this. Well who you're getting it from,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you know that's where you're going. And then also you've
- 27:52Speaker 1: been cheating, and then you know what's gonna happen after that.
- 27:55Speaker 1: It is hard. The best thing you could do, dog
- 27:58Speaker 1: is move out of state. He got to relocated. Yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 1: you got the uproot dog, because you're going there and
- 28:05Speaker 1: tell this woman y'all just going to be friend There's
- 28:07Speaker 1: fenn to be no peace in your valley all over town.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Oh all right, last one? See last one. This is
- 28:18Speaker 1: from d Shay. D Shay and Richmond writes whenever I'm
- 28:22Speaker 1: out with my boyfriend, he's always commenting on how other
- 28:26Speaker 1: women look. He's a gentleman and opens doors for women,
- 28:29Speaker 1: but then he follows them inside with his eyes. Is
- 28:33Speaker 1: he being chivalrous or disrespectful in my presence? Well, he's
- 28:38Speaker 1: being chivalrous because he's opening doors. Yeah, he's not being
- 28:42Speaker 1: disrespectful to you, because he don't know you watching him.
- 28:46Speaker 1: What you can't expect us not to see her. So
- 28:51Speaker 1: when you open the door, you got to do all
- 28:52Speaker 1: this with your eyes. Yes. See what he got to
- 28:56Speaker 1: do is see you. Now see what he's stupid is
- 28:59Speaker 1: he got the old niddope for his girl and her
- 29:02Speaker 1: and he got let him go through. And while they
- 29:05Speaker 1: going through, then you follow le j okay, whatever coming up?
- 29:13Speaker 1: His problem is he getting in front of his girl
- 29:15Speaker 1: and she watching his head stay behind both of them.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Don't coming up. At the top of the hour, we'll
- 29:21Speaker 1: have some entertainment news where you right after this, you're
- 29:24Speaker 1: listening show well. In their first extensive interviews since testifying
- 29:32Speaker 1: a former Empire actor Jesse Smalette's trial, the Ocean Daro
- 29:37Speaker 1: Brothers returned to the Chicago Block for the first time
- 29:40Speaker 1: since that Chile, January twenty nineteen morning for the five
- 29:44Speaker 1: part docuseries Jesse Smallette Anatomy of a Hoax. The Ocean,
- 29:49Speaker 1: Daro brothers said on the morning they prepared to allegedly
- 29:52Speaker 1: help Jesse, that they were helping him stage this racism
- 29:56Speaker 1: homophobic attack against him in twenty nineteen. Didn't show up
- 30:00Speaker 1: on time, They said, quote, he was late. He was
- 30:06Speaker 1: late for dogs, he said, get the sandwich. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 30:10Speaker 1: the problem, yeah, he said. The brother said, quote, we
- 30:15Speaker 1: made sure we got there at two a m. Sharp.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Take a listen, and we had to plan our escape
- 30:21Speaker 1: rout to survey the land. His building is actually right here,
- 30:26Speaker 1: right above the stairs that we're going to attack him. Matter.
- 30:30Speaker 1: We made sure we got there at two am sharp
- 30:33Speaker 1: on the DIT. On the DIT, we had no phones
- 30:35Speaker 1: because he did not want us to bring any phones,
- 30:38Speaker 1: he said, so we don't lose them. I don't know
- 30:41Speaker 1: if that's really the reason, but you can deduce your
- 30:44Speaker 1: own reason. So two am he was nowhere to be found.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He was not there, so we were like, damn, what
- 30:51Speaker 1: do we do? Yeah, man, we ain't got no victim
- 30:59Speaker 1: right late. For your own hope, students, sir, have you
- 31:04Speaker 1: seen Jesse. It's two in the morning on a show
- 31:09Speaker 1: Cole Chicago, Tago. Right, all right, we all remember the trial.
- 31:13Speaker 1: Back in twenty December of twenty twenty one, a jury
- 31:16Speaker 1: found Smallett guilty of five of the sixtis orderly conduct counts.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He was sentenced in March of last year to one
- 31:22Speaker 1: hundred and fifty days in jail, but only served six
- 31:25Speaker 1: days in the Cook County jail. We all know Jesse
- 31:27Speaker 1: Smallett still proclaimed his innocence. Okay, Jesse got stopped this
- 31:34Speaker 1: proclaiming come on, yeah, you gotta cut this out. But
- 31:39Speaker 1: we got the documentaries, all right, listen to this. The
- 31:43Speaker 1: brothers went on to say, we started tussling and moving around.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Take a listen. Then I threw him to the ground.
- 31:49Speaker 1: He wanted it to look like he fought back. That
- 31:52Speaker 1: was very important for him because he said, hey, don't
- 31:55Speaker 1: just beat my ass. Make it look like I'm fighting
- 31:58Speaker 1: back and whatnot. So we did that, and then I
- 32:01Speaker 1: threw him to the ground. He had no bruise. I
- 32:03Speaker 1: wanted it to look more real. So after I threw
- 32:06Speaker 1: him to the ground, I used my knuckle and gave
- 32:09Speaker 1: him a noogie. So I went like this. Why did
- 32:12Speaker 1: I do that? To give him a scar, to give
- 32:14Speaker 1: him a mark, to make it look real like he
- 32:17Speaker 1: really did get his ass beat? After I did that,
- 32:20Speaker 1: I fake kicked him. I don't know what he was doing.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I wasn't paying attached where. I came around with the bleach,
- 32:26Speaker 1: the infamous bleach in the hot sauce bottle, spoored it
- 32:30Speaker 1: on his shirt. Then I finally put the rope around
- 32:33Speaker 1: his face. Too much, I directed this. I gotta watch
- 32:41Speaker 1: this documentary. I want to see see. That's why Jesse
- 32:46Speaker 1: got to come off this. He ain't Jesse. You got it,
- 32:50Speaker 1: you got it. You gotta fest up Jesse, then explaining
- 32:53Speaker 1: too much of this. Yeah, yeah, I say that because
- 32:56Speaker 1: they can follow some directions directed that. Oh you gotta
- 33:02Speaker 1: be pretty good to be the actor and the director. Yeah.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait minute, now, beat
- 33:06Speaker 1: my ass a little mote and I'm gonna fight you
- 33:09Speaker 1: back though, And and what am I saying with you?
- 33:13Speaker 1: I just I just lost run damn saying he said earlier.
- 33:17Speaker 1: He said, then I came with the bleach and the
- 33:20Speaker 1: hot sauce. It wasn't blood, it was hot sauce. The
- 33:26Speaker 1: world didn't cut that out, just about getting all right,
- 33:33Speaker 1: let me show you this though a little bit more,
- 33:36Speaker 1: he said me. He said, I didn't put the rope
- 33:40Speaker 1: around his neck like he said, it was his face.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I said, justhing, you got his stock. Too many lives,
- 33:48Speaker 1: too many lives, because he works as he works, since then,
- 33:51Speaker 1: as he works since u Yeah, he's telling a couple
- 33:54Speaker 1: of things they wrote off his character and the Empire
- 33:56Speaker 1: since then, yeah, since the Empire. Yeah, yeah, I don't know,
- 34:00Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to other entertainment news, Jimmy Kimmel's
- 34:03Speaker 1: Oscars monologue contained some jokes about the slapping incident at
- 34:07Speaker 1: last year's ceremony, but he was actually prepared to go
- 34:10Speaker 1: much harder on Will Smith. Kimmel's wife, Molly McNerney, says
- 34:15Speaker 1: that she was also an executive producer of the Oscars telecast,
- 34:19Speaker 1: and she says there were a lot more Will Smith
- 34:21Speaker 1: jokes written for the monologue, but they were ultimately cut.
- 34:25Speaker 1: She told People magazine, we didn't want to make this
- 34:28Speaker 1: year all about last year. I cannot tell you how
- 34:32Speaker 1: many Will Smith jokes we had then that we had
- 34:36Speaker 1: to get rid of. We think the only that was
- 34:38Speaker 1: only best for the show and the room made it.
- 34:41Speaker 1: You know, there were certain certainly some jokes that went harder,
- 34:45Speaker 1: but we didn't think that that was our place to
- 34:47Speaker 1: do that. That should be Chris Rock, not us. Well,
- 34:50Speaker 1: Chris Rock came true, now, didn't he Yeah he understood sign,
- 34:55Speaker 1: Yes he did, Yes, he did. So there were much
- 34:58Speaker 1: harder jokes besides that one that Jimmy Kimmel said about it.
- 35:02Speaker 1: There's any violence here, Uh, we'll give you the best
- 35:05Speaker 1: Oscar and give you an opportunity to do a nineteen
- 35:07Speaker 1: minute speech acceptance speech. Yeah, they'll never forget. No, no,
- 35:18Speaker 1: you won't forget. It was the most unforgettable Oscar moment
- 35:23Speaker 1: of all times, of all time. Yes, and I'm telling
- 35:28Speaker 1: you it's eating him alive because he's been the Golden Boy.
- 35:32Speaker 1: He's not handled this well at all. I agree with
- 35:36Speaker 1: that wholeheartedly. An immediate in that house right there? What's
- 35:43Speaker 1: in that house? Yea? All of a sudden, that wrong
- 35:46Speaker 1: name after Miss Universe pageant? Ain't that big? Isn't that about?
- 35:52Speaker 1: You always do talk about live TV moments? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 1: I've been in him. We all hang dog all right,
- 36:02Speaker 1: coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, we'll talk
- 36:05Speaker 1: about Sierra's Vanity Fair Oscar party dress right after this. Okay,
- 36:10Speaker 1: you're listening, Okay, So let's talk about Sierra and this dress.
- 36:18Speaker 1: She took a she took risk to a new level
- 36:20Speaker 1: and practically shut down the Vanity the Vanity Fair Oscar
- 36:24Speaker 1: party red carpet when she arrived in a barely there,
- 36:28Speaker 1: sheer netta gown by Dundas that was fresh off the
- 36:31Speaker 1: Paris runway, you know, for fashion week. The shimmering halter
- 36:36Speaker 1: dress showed everything, including a tiny black thong that covered
- 36:41Speaker 1: very little. She also covered her breath with nude nipple covers.
- 36:46Speaker 1: Fans have mixed reactions to Sarah's Sierra's look. Some people
- 36:50Speaker 1: thought it was amazing, and others spelled it was something
- 36:54Speaker 1: that should be worn at home for her husband in private.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Looking at r face, Russell didn't look like he was happy.
- 37:02Speaker 1: That's what they looked at me. Russell looked like he wasn't.
- 37:05Speaker 1: I know, they argued about that before they left the house.
- 37:07Speaker 1: They had I don't know how they got at that house.
- 37:11Speaker 1: But Russell was anger when he left that house. Shocking. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 1: he was shocked the whole way in the car on
- 37:16Speaker 1: the way to the Russell was shot to the party. Yeah,
- 37:20Speaker 1: I think I think they agreed to it. Oh you
- 37:23Speaker 1: you disagree with what Tommy saying. You don't think it
- 37:25Speaker 1: was an argument. I think no, I think they agreed
- 37:27Speaker 1: to it. You know, that was that she really wanted
- 37:31Speaker 1: to wear it, and he saw how much she wanted
- 37:35Speaker 1: to wear it and go forward. He agreed to that.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I mean, did you see how he stood in that
- 37:41Speaker 1: picture when they were taking that picture? Did you see
- 37:43Speaker 1: you know I haven't seen send it to somebody a lot.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Don't look like he agreed to He looked like well,
- 37:50Speaker 1: I mean he didn't look happy. He did. No, he
- 37:52Speaker 1: didn't look happy, not an agreeable face. Well, I mean,
- 37:56Speaker 1: I mean, look you got to Yeah, well he's a
- 38:00Speaker 1: deal your wife. You have a special place for her, huh,
- 38:06Speaker 1: as opposed to anybody else. And I know he does.
- 38:08Speaker 1: He loves this girl. Man, he loves this He's a
- 38:11Speaker 1: great guy. I love him as a couple too. But
- 38:16Speaker 1: you know that, you know when people looking at your
- 38:21Speaker 1: wife and I look at that picture and look at
- 38:24Speaker 1: his face and look at russell face. When I when
- 38:26Speaker 1: you see this him, Russell Russell looked like you're comfortable,
- 38:31Speaker 1: bright him all you had to do with just put
- 38:35Speaker 1: on the pants suit. You don't think Russell talking underhill.
- 38:38Speaker 1: I don't tell you shouldn't want it, Damn, dream don't
- 38:39Speaker 1: tell you talking to tell you shouldn't want it. Damn
- 38:44Speaker 1: looking at me my friends and looking at me, cra
- 38:47Speaker 1: you don't walk down the home drink. I don't make
- 38:49Speaker 1: my damn well. I mean it was at the Oscars.
- 38:54Speaker 1: It's over now, but people are still talking about it.
- 38:58Speaker 1: I mean, you know, oh i'd have mercy fun. I'm like, yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 1: great body, you know what I mean. I mean, I
- 39:07Speaker 1: love them though I loved him as a couple. That's
- 39:09Speaker 1: the thing, man, and so like, that's stay businesses that
- 39:12Speaker 1: the husband and wife. They worked that out. Me and
- 39:18Speaker 1: Modrede though we're gonna be in that. We're gonna be
- 39:20Speaker 1: throwing hands. Coming up, I'm gonna tell a dress at
- 39:27Speaker 1: the house. Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:31Speaker 1: we'll check Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine Steve
- 39:35Speaker 1: eight seven seven twenty nine Steve. Right after this you're
- 39:38Speaker 1: listening show, it is time now to check Steve's voicemail
- 39:45Speaker 1: and if you would like to leave a message for Steve,
- 39:47Speaker 1: all you have to do is call him eight seven
- 39:49Speaker 1: seven twenty nine, Steve. You never know you might just
- 39:51Speaker 1: hear your call on the air. Steve, Are you ready?
- 39:56Speaker 1: Stay ready? That's what I wanted you to say. To
- 40:00Speaker 1: from Compton, California. Has something for you, Steve Hey, Steve
- 40:04Speaker 1: Study from Constant, California. I was calling basically to say
- 40:09Speaker 1: thank you. Hello to everybody that's from the show as well,
- 40:12Speaker 1: but I was calling to say thank you. I've been
- 40:14Speaker 1: really overwhelmed with life and I've been trying to find
- 40:18Speaker 1: ways to stay motivated. So I went on YouTube and
- 40:21Speaker 1: I came across your motivational video and it really uplifted me.
- 40:27Speaker 1: But then I downloaded the iHeart Radio and started listening
- 40:30Speaker 1: to the Steve Barton Morning Show every day. And I
- 40:34Speaker 1: promise you, I've noticed a difference within my attitude, within
- 40:39Speaker 1: my thought process, and I just really want to genuinely
- 40:42Speaker 1: say from my heart, I appreciate you. Man. I know
- 40:45Speaker 1: you get these all the time, but I'm a cancer
- 40:48Speaker 1: survivor and I'm struggling every day to be happy when
- 40:52Speaker 1: I'm really grateful to be alive, but it's still get
- 40:55Speaker 1: overwhelming sometimes and I just really want to thank you.
- 40:58Speaker 1: It's not just meed, but I know it's plenty of
- 41:01Speaker 1: people who says God bless you and thank you so much.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Love Steve Martin, Hey, Tutty, I appreciate you saying that.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey loves you back. But more importantly, God loves
- 41:12Speaker 1: you more than I could ever possibly And that's the
- 41:15Speaker 1: good thing. When you open up your mind and your
- 41:18Speaker 1: heart to a relationship with God. You don't have to
- 41:21Speaker 1: be saved. You don't have to be Christian, you don't
- 41:25Speaker 1: have to be rich, you don't have to be able,
- 41:28Speaker 1: you don't have to be healed. You you can have
- 41:32Speaker 1: relationship with God just like you are, broken, unhappy, dissatisfied, confused, challenged,
- 41:41Speaker 1: all of that. He takes all that. That's how he
- 41:44Speaker 1: wants you. The problem, the mistake people make is they
- 41:48Speaker 1: try to fix theirselfs and then go to God. Dad.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Ain't hide work, y'all. Take your broken, disgruntled, unhappy, depressed, bored,
- 41:59Speaker 1: over whelmed, confused, don't know where to turn to self.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Over that to him, just like that, and watch him
- 42:08Speaker 1: do what he do and just tell it, man, this
- 42:11Speaker 1: is my situation. I'm broken. Can you help me? And
- 42:14Speaker 1: then watch he can't help me next, surely all right?
- 42:18Speaker 1: Andrew left a message regarding Richard Pryor Steve. Yes, mister
- 42:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, my name is Andrew Harvey Jones. I was
- 42:26Speaker 1: just sending the message to let you know I believe
- 42:32Speaker 1: that you could really be Richard Pryor some great service
- 42:38Speaker 1: right about now in the comedy where or a movie
- 42:42Speaker 1: something like that. But hey, him out and now thank
- 42:46Speaker 1: you and you have a great day now you, mister
- 42:48Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, appreciate you. Drew. Old radio boys. Yeah, yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 1: the old school play. He means what he says. I
- 42:57Speaker 1: think the windows passed for me play that role. That
- 43:01Speaker 1: was a time when I was younger. It would have worked,
- 43:04Speaker 1: but I was told I wasn't good enough actor for it,
- 43:08Speaker 1: which they don't know, they don't know, but uh, and
- 43:11Speaker 1: I know that. I don't want to say that because
- 43:15Speaker 1: he's famous. And uh he told you you weren't good
- 43:20Speaker 1: enough like Richard Pryor himself. Yeah, did he tell you
- 43:26Speaker 1: what you should work on? No? No, no, no, he
- 43:30Speaker 1: said he was gonna do it. Huh. Oh all right then,
- 43:37Speaker 1: well okay, and that was before two thousand and five.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You ain't seen the movie? How you not at all
- 43:45Speaker 1: guess I wasn't the only one that could act. That
- 43:51Speaker 1: was movie he did it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, But Steve,
- 44:00Speaker 1: you do look like Richard Bryor. Hey man, I got
- 44:03Speaker 1: pictures of him and me, and it's crazy. Let me
- 44:07Speaker 1: ask y'all, something, did he think you look? Well? He knew,
- 44:11Speaker 1: he knew my act was like kids. His wife, Flynn,
- 44:13Speaker 1: had told him about me. That's when he called me
- 44:15Speaker 1: first time. Oh wow, he get it in Flynn telling
- 44:20Speaker 1: me about you. Wow. Okay, tell us more. I love that.
- 44:31Speaker 1: All right? Coming up next, frank phone call from a

- 54:07Speaker 1: right now you never know, it could be yours. Okay,
- 54:12Speaker 1: you never know. Buckle up and hold on. Type we
- 54:14Speaker 1: got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter, Thank you, nephew. Subjects,
- 54:18Speaker 1: Get in, get it on, and get on out. Dear
- 54:21Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty four year old single man
- 54:24Speaker 1: and I'm not ready to settle down. But one female
- 54:28Speaker 1: in particular has me hooked. I was the type of
- 54:31Speaker 1: guy to get in, get it on, and get on out,
- 54:34Speaker 1: but she had splipped the script on me. So now
- 54:36Speaker 1: I need advice from the master. I'm seeing three different
- 54:40Speaker 1: women regularly, but I'm taking precautions and I'm being respectful
- 54:44Speaker 1: to the ladies. So far, none of them have been
- 54:47Speaker 1: in their feelings. I'm the one that's getting caught up,
- 54:50Speaker 1: and it's the fourth woman on my roster that's got
- 54:53Speaker 1: my nose wide open. As my daddy said, she's a
- 54:57Speaker 1: professional single mother and her son is always respectful, her
- 55:02Speaker 1: house is always clean, and she is always in the
- 55:05Speaker 1: best mood when we're together. I don't mind being seen
- 55:08Speaker 1: with her because she always knows how to act, how
- 55:11Speaker 1: to order food, and how to pick up a check.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Sometimes she insists on paying the bill every once in
- 55:17Speaker 1: a while, so I let her if it's something small,
- 55:19Speaker 1: like when we go get smoothies. Yes, I get smoothies
- 55:23Speaker 1: with her and her son if she invites me. The
- 55:26Speaker 1: only thing that bothers me is that she doesn't need me.
- 55:30Speaker 1: The other women expects small tokens of appreciation if I
- 55:33Speaker 1: sleep with them, and I understand that this fourth woman
- 55:37Speaker 1: gets me in. We get it on, and then she
- 55:39Speaker 1: expects me to leave before her son realizes I'm there.
- 55:44Speaker 1: That's such a turn on for me. I think I
- 55:47Speaker 1: may be falling in love with her. My dad said
- 55:49Speaker 1: it's because she has high standards for herself. If that's
- 55:53Speaker 1: the case, why is she sleeping with me with no
- 55:55Speaker 1: strings attached. I often wonder if she has a roster
- 55:59Speaker 1: of other men, or if I am special to her.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I would love to see where our relationship can go,
- 56:04Speaker 1: but I don't know how to bring it up to her.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Can we go from friends with benefits to a monogamous relationship? Wow?
- 56:12Speaker 1: This is different. You're right we usually get these kinds
- 56:15Speaker 1: of letters from women. But thank you for showing us
- 56:18Speaker 1: your vulnerability. Thank you for showing us what some men
- 56:22Speaker 1: really want. Men can get caught up to you said
- 56:27Speaker 1: you love just everything about her, almost this one woman,
- 56:31Speaker 1: except the fact that she doesn't seem to need you.
- 56:35Speaker 1: And men want to be needed, don't they. But it's
- 56:38Speaker 1: not that she doesn't need you, it's just that she
- 56:40Speaker 1: loves herself and puts herself and her needs first. Is
- 56:43Speaker 1: like your dad says, she has high standard. She's a
- 56:46Speaker 1: smart woman. She knows what kind of man you are.
- 56:49Speaker 1: She knows that you have more than one woman. She's
- 56:51Speaker 1: not gonna get caught up like that. She's just not
- 56:54Speaker 1: gonna do it. Everyone likes someone that's hard to get,
- 56:57Speaker 1: not easy, and men like women that they have to
- 57:00Speaker 1: work for and do things for. So keep working at it.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Let her know you're serious. You know you can spend
- 57:07Speaker 1: more time with her. And in order to do that,
- 57:10Speaker 1: guess what, You're gonna have to lose some weight, let
- 57:12Speaker 1: some of those other women go. Plus, you have to
- 57:14Speaker 1: start making plans that include her and her son. Clean
- 57:18Speaker 1: up your act, make sure you can take care of them,
- 57:21Speaker 1: provide for them before you shoot yourself your shot, so
- 57:24Speaker 1: I get your finances in order. All of that. If
- 57:26Speaker 1: you're not serious about this woman, though you're not serious
- 57:30Speaker 1: about doing right by her, don't play with her. Just
- 57:32Speaker 1: keep it right where it is, Steve, this is very
- 57:38Speaker 1: simple for me. Shirley made a statement that thank you
- 57:43Speaker 1: for sean us your vulnerable side. I want to say something.
- 57:47Speaker 1: This is happening to this thirty four year old man,
- 57:50Speaker 1: It happens to every last one of us. It is
- 57:56Speaker 1: going to happen. This is a letter that's so explains
- 58:02Speaker 1: what I've always said. All men can change, all men
- 58:09Speaker 1: will change, but there's only one woman that we are
- 58:14Speaker 1: going to change. Four and well, that's what this letter
- 58:17Speaker 1: is about. This is about a thirty four year old
- 58:20Speaker 1: single man who said he was not ready to settle down.
- 58:24Speaker 1: But there's one female in particular particularly that's got me hooked.
- 58:29Speaker 1: He taught about he want to get it in, get
- 58:31Speaker 1: it on, get on out, but he said this one
- 58:34Speaker 1: to flip the script. So now you need advice from
- 58:37Speaker 1: the master. So he's come to Steve Harvey. But your
- 58:41Speaker 1: father is a master too, because he's seen this movie before.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Because guess what had happened to your father with your mama.
- 58:50Speaker 1: So your father had already told it to you. You're
- 58:53Speaker 1: seeing three different women regularly, you're taking precautions and you're
- 58:57Speaker 1: being respectful. So far ain't don't been in their feelings,
- 59:01Speaker 1: because really most of them know what they got because
- 59:04Speaker 1: when you got time for three women, you ain't got
- 59:06Speaker 1: time for one, So they already know if you ain't here,
- 59:10Speaker 1: you got to be somewhere. You understand you ain't giving
- 59:12Speaker 1: none of them full time attention because you can't because
- 59:15Speaker 1: you got your time split by three. Now you got
- 59:17Speaker 1: to split by four. So everybody knows what a quarter
- 59:20Speaker 1: of attention is. So far, none of them being in
- 59:23Speaker 1: their field. But the fourth woman on my roster got
- 59:25Speaker 1: your nose wide open, your daddy said, as your daddy said,
- 59:29Speaker 1: your nose wide open. She's a professional single mother. Her
- 59:32Speaker 1: son is always respectful, she raising her kid right, her
- 59:36Speaker 1: house is always clean, and she's always in the best
- 59:38Speaker 1: move when we're together. She's a great person. Sounds like
- 59:41Speaker 1: a good catch. I don't mind being seen with it
- 59:44Speaker 1: because she always knows how to act. Right there. Now
- 59:47Speaker 1: you're having problem with a couple of being seen with
- 59:49Speaker 1: the mother ones because they're just good for that activity.
- 59:56Speaker 1: But to see what a man say, I don't mind
- 59:58Speaker 1: being seen with her because she knows how to act.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Because he hadn't been with somebody that hasn't got out
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: there and act that out. She knows how to order food,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: how to pick up a check. Sometimes I hate that
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: you say that. She insists on paying the bill every
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: once in a while, So I let if it's something small,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: like when we get smoothies. Okay, I'll understand that I
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: get smoothies with her in the sun if she invites me.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: The only thing that bothers me is that she don't
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: need me when we come back. I'll explain what he
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: means by that, ladies, and I'm gonna show you how
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you catch what you want. You will have part two
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of your response coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subjects get in, get it on,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and get on out. We'll be right back after this.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You're listening. He's being respectful of the women. He always
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: protects himself. He's being respectful. So far, none of them
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: have been in their feelings. And the reason that no
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: one's getting caught up in their feelings, and it's because
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: they know their own a roster. Because if you got
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: four women, there's no way you can devote your time
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: to one. So they know what part time is. But
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: they're also getting some benefits. We found her later in
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the letter. But the problem me is so far none
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: of them been in their feelings. But it's the one
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: that I'm getting caught up when it's to forefen. She
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: got my nose wide open, Like your daddy say, she's
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: a professional single mother and her son is always professional, respectful.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Now you say you've come to me because you need
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: advice from the master. But I gotta tell you something.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Your daddy spot on. Your daddy's a master too. Don't
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: take much to be a master. You just gotta have
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: lived it. Your dad didn't lived, or he didn't told
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: you she got your nose wide open. He already seen
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: this movie before. She's a professional single mother, her son
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: is always respectful, her house is always clean, and she's
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: always in the best move when we're together. It sound
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: like a great catching me. I don't mind being seen
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: with her because she always knows how to act. The
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: reason a man right that in the letter, ladies, because
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: one of these three women that he takes out, these
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: three where he can't go nowhere with them because they
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: don't went out and showed out. She knows how to
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: order food. Y'all, you got the mothers you down to dinner.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: You down to dinner with this other one, and she
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: all in the back of the menu. You at ihop
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: and she all in the back of the menu. When
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: we go to Denny's, we get to breakfast, slam and
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: the moons over my hammock. You don't go in the
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: back of the menu when you go to ie hoop,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: you stay at the front of the menu. Get what's
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: on the damn sign? What is you all back here
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: telling about? I want some strimps? This ain't what they
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: do back here? What does you want in the strip?
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: Then the fall? Yeah? Now you all? Yeah? You all
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: in the back or the stiff you want? I want
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: to chicken fries? Stay, that's not what they do. You
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: all back on page foe fall Get up here in
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the front. She assists on paying the bill every once
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: in a while, so I let her. It's something small
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: like when we get smoothies. Yes, I get smoothies with
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: her in the sun when she invites me. So now
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you like it. The only thing that bothers me is
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: she don't need me. Now, ladies, this is where some
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: of us ladies make mistakes by demonstrating that you don't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: need a man. It's not always the smart move because
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: now a man don't get to be the night in
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: shining armor. He don't get to ride in at the
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: calvary over the hill and save the day. He don't
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: be able to rescue the damsel in distress. You have
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: got to show some form of vulnerability so a man
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: can see where he fits in. That's what we're looking
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: for now, that's what Bob is him. The other women
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: expects small tokens of appreciation if I sleep with them,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and I understand it. So it's a play for It's
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: a pay to play situation. You know, I'm sleeping with you.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I need help with my rent. This woman ain't doing that,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: and he expects me. And then this other woman expect
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: The other women expect tokens of appreciation if I sleep
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and I understand. The fourth woman gets me in, we
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: get it on, and she expects me to leave for
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: her son realizes I'm here. That's because she don't want
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: her son to see somebody that might not be around
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: for the long haul and have some ignorant thoughts about
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: her mama. This woman is smart. That's such a turn
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on for me. I think I may be falling in
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: love with her, my dad says, because she got high
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: standards for herself. See, now you see what a real
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: woman act like. She's a single mother. She handling her business,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: she taking care of the way. She cares about what
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: her son and her child feels. She wants you in
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and out. She likes you. She ain't putting a whole
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: lot in it. She hoping you step up to the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: plate because she ain't just in here playing with you
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: like a board toy. She really wants you to step
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: up to the plate, and she hoping you do. But
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: she ain't gonna make that move now. She got high standards.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: And if that's the case, why is she sleeping with
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: me with no strings attached? Everybody don't want to be
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: paid to sleep with them. Ain't strings you're saying, with
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: no strings attached? No, there's no money attached. She don't
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: want to equate her body and her love with a payment.
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: How you don't see that, homie, She don't want that.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: She's saying, I'm good enough as I am. Now, when
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: you realize I'm worth more, would you please let me know.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: But in the meantime, please don't drop no rent money
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: off on my counter because that ain't I'm not that
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: girl often one that she has a roster of other men.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Why she's taking care of herself, she's a professional. Or
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: if I'm special to her, you probably are. I would
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: love to see how relationship can go, but I don't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: know how to bring it up. Yeah, you know how
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: to bring it up to him? Bring it up to him?
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Can we go from friends with benefits to a monogamous relationship?
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: That's what she's hoping for, So why don't you man up,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: zip it up and come on in that with a plan.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: But you got to cut to mother Helper's loose though.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: Dog all right, post your comments on today's Strawberry Let
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: her at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming up
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: at forty six minutes after the hour into Sports Talk
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: with Junior right after this you're listening show. It is
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: time now for Junior and Sports to talk with j Okay. Well,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: start with the NFL shirleys. Still no word on Aaron
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Rodgers going to the Jets. Is he gonna stay in
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Green Bay? But Aaron Rodgers did send a wish list
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: to the Jets, So does that a sign he going
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: because there's some players he got some players he wanted
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: to see in Jets uniform, like his former wide receiver
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: Adam Lazard, he just signed a four year, forty four
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: million dollars deal with the Jets. Then he also would
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: like to have Mercedes Lewis, a tight end for the
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Green Bay Packers, to go to the Jets. And he
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: also wants Randall Cobb wide receiver who was playing with
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Green Bay. He wants him to go to the Jets.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: But he got one out of three right now, does
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: that mean he's yeah, he was trying to pick a team.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Man he holding it held or something about Lamar and
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson. Unk can start taking office sheets and from
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: office sheets from other teams because he still hadn't signed
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: his franchise tag, so they can give him offer. Now
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: now some people say he wanted to go to the Titans.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: Now this could be. This could happen if the kids.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: All they need to do is just give up two
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: first round picks. That's all I gotta do, and they
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: gotta match the offer. I'm hearing everything, but the Texas, Okay,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I'll get you going down there. Anybody go down there
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: and run for their life. The only movie we made
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: him free agency, Tommy is we just uh we signed
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: a guard. That's all I can tell you. Listen to
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Saint shack Maker. He got nobody to guard. Also, man,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Jimmy Garoppolo is going to the Las Vegas Raiders. You
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: got a three years, sixty seven million dollar deal. Man
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: brock Purty from San Francisco. Brock Purty gonna be the
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: start it or is it gonna be Trey Land We
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: got to see. But we know Jimmy g ain't gonna
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: be there. That's what they We do know it's irrelevant.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: That's what's gonna be there. Didn't play man. So also Darren.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: But here's the thing. Darren Waller, who was a tight
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: end for the Raiders, he got traded to the New
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: York Football Giants. So the one weapon applo gonna be without.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: They gave up a third round pick for him. Cowboys
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: have traded for ended up his cornerback. Still Stephan Gilmore. Oh,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Stephan Guilmore going from the coach to the Cowboys. Still
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: nothing about the Texas toime. I'm sorry, cornerback he does
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: They trying to get somebody on the other side over
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: there from the steps, yeahs whichever. I think it's Treyvonn
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: But I think that's gonna be a nice, nice secondary there.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: You guys still that Cowboys ain't going nowhere? Dog. I
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: hate to say that, but they just said. I don't
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: see it, man, I don't like the coach. To me,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: it's been that redhead boy that was coaching New Garrison.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: They kept him too long. I think they got they
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: got the talent. Man, I think it's a coach. I
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: don't like this fat boy McCarthy. I don't think. Coming
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, there's a guy
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: on social media seeker needs advice. He says his son
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: is flirting with his wife's friends. We'll talk about it
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, all right. Steve so
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Jack on Facebook writes, my son's turning into a player.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: He's now sixteen years old and clearly has a thing
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: for older women. Occasionally we'll have friends over, and there
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: have been multiple reports of my kid making some smooth
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: moves on some of my wife's friends. The first time
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: I heard about it, it was kind of funny. Now
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: though it's happened five times that I know about. Do
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: we need to step in on this or just stop
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: inviting my wife's very attractive friends over. What's the deal? Well,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: you know it's the boy ain't no real really no problem.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: You know you could step to your son and tell hey, hey,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: these grown folks don't come in here with that. They
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: starting to mumble about it. Do it again. I'm gonna
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: have to talk to you now. Listen, you gotta say
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: something if that's really the problem. But I'm curious why
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: this man is writing us about his sixteen year old son.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I really think the problem is him. Who the father?
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: You think the problem is with the dad? With the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: wife's very attractive friends. They find they ain't attractive. They
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: find yeah yeah they look yeah yeah see and he
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: know it. Yeah, he got to wrote a letter for
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: what can he say to the boy? He need advice
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: for himself. Oh, he needed to know he try and
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: talk himself down off this bridge himself himself. You know
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: who we're talking about it himself. It's Miss Nias coming
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: over again, d dad, it is miss Needs coming back
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: over for that out fish he had on God the hills.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something should come back. I'm gonna say so. Yeah,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: that's the problem. Everything problem is him. Yeah, and say
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: he just looked. Man, Look it happens, and what happens.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: You're gonna run into some your wife's gonna have some friends.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Go set your ass down somewhere, Go sit show stupid
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: ass down somewhere and shut show down mouth. That's never
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: happened to you, right, Steve. I sits my ass down
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: somewhere and shut. The best I do is off for coffee.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: That's all I can do. You know, they always say
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: wow for him to be on TV. He is so polite, y'all. Ladies, ladies,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: y'all need anything, Baby, you want some coffee? I know,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I no, no, I treat it like a queen in
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: front of them. Girl, Baby, y'all need anything. Let me
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: get somebody down here for I'm actually taking the coffee
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: in the room for what. Yeah, I know how to
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: get the brownie points, man, you know, just in case,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Oh March, Steve so sweet. Let's see why you married
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: him out all of that. Any of your son's been
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: in that situation? Oh yeah, they didn't say something about
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: a couple of friends. Margine snapped taste out there. I
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: wish you would go over there and say something to
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: her and deeper still, I want her to say something
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: back to you, because I'm gonna kill both of y'all.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Oh deeple still people still steal? Yeah, okay, um, we
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: have time. We have another one. This is from Jalil
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: on Steve Ham. He says, I'm I'm a high school
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: guys taking on my first part time job. I have
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: a question for more seasoned employees than me. Since I'm
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: in school. They said I can't be part time, so
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: I'm working six hours a day, five days a week.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I was also told that they had to give me
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: at least one thirty minute break during my shift. Well,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: I've been working by a month now, and each day
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: but one, I've been told to clock out for my break,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: but it always happens during a rush, and I've been
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: asked to come back and help out even though I'm
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: on my break and off the clock. I kind of
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: asked about it once and was hit with substantial attitude.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: What's the real story with this? I like the job
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: and want the experience, but I also don't want to
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: get used. Okay out, that's life, dog, it happens. Yeah,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: supposed to get thirty, But to ask you to come
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: back early. You know you got to start taking your
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: break earlier before the rush or after the rush is over. Okay,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that's all to it. Life ain't fair, dog, all right?
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I hapen twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: of a Steve Harvey Morning show right after this you're
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: listening to show. Former GMA three anchors Amy Roebuck and TJ.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Holmes are reportedly in Los Angeles pitching ideas for their
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: first post Good Morning America gig. The couple who, of course,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: they were fired from GMA over their affair, they want
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: to co host a daytime talk show. Well, a TV
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: executive said, quote two attractive hosts mix in a romantic drama.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: Who wouldn't want to watch them interact every day? Sounds
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: good to me? Questions for the guys, would you want
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: to do a TV H talk show with your spouse
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: quote partner every day? Would you want to nah, No,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: margin work at home like Kelly and Mark now instead
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: of Kelly and Ryan. Kelly's gonna gonna work with her
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: husband now every day and be at home. Well, he
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: gotta do something to contribute. I'm already contributing. Huh. I
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: like missing my girl. Seeing her at Okay, Yeah, then
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: you gotta come home and talk about work. See what
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do is half her telling me what
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: do it work too? That's not that's that's gonna get
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: on your nerves completely, junior. You're newly wet, that's what
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: you're gonna You're gonna wein a newness all fast. I
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: know it's gonna be open yea, and y'all just gonna
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: be yeah, all right, coming up with thirty three minutes after,
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: we'll play a round it would you rather right after
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: this you're listening to show it is time now for
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: another round of would you rather? Would you rather go
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: one month with only a tank top on? Or would
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: you rather go one month with only a speedo? What
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: do you mean just the only the only article of clothes. Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: just a tank top or a speedo? Which one month?
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: Just for a month? You mean you mean every day
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: that's all you can wear? Just for a month. Yeah,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna have pertain speedos. I got to I can't have.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: I got you just can't be out like this. It's
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: just too much because you got to kill you got
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: to care about this area all damn all right? Would
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you rather make out at the movies? Or would you
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: rather make out at the back seat of a car?
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: In the back seat of a car, in the car,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the car gonna leave to something. That movie is uncomfortable.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: That chair right there? You ever tried that chair? That chair?
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry making out in the car uncomfortable. No, it's
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: not the least I've done it before working I was
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: way young, or something else. All right, here's another one.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Would you do it in an abandoned building or a
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: public park? Which one? I don't know about. This abandoned
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: building that flow my fall through. We're gonna be outside
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: of that glass. A public park, people can see you. Well,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: we're gonna be night or something. We're gonna be able
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to get some tree. We're gonna keeping on this tree.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: We're gonna keep moving around this tree. I could work
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: with this park and then on top of that earth
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: we'd abandoned building. It could be a drug deal going down.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: We are geting naked. It's not an FBI. I can't
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: feel nothing run across my foot. All right? Would you
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: rather lick a public doorknob or would you rather lick
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: the floor of the subway station. I'm not doing that.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: On one of them public doorknob. You to pick one
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: which you rather, or what is in my house? What
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: dough is a public? That's a private doorknob. Public. Man,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: We're gonna die either way, so pick one, all right?
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Do knock, all right, junior, don't do knock on the
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: door knob. Yes we've been get the doctor on hill though,
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I'm ting, yeah, I'm going to do the don because
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: that way, I ain't. Nobody wiped theirself on that Doorknow,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: all right, that's today's stick around, and would you rather
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: coming up in forty nine minutes after the hour, our
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: last break of the day, and we'll close out the
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: show with the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: You're listening show? All right, guys, here we are our
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good Thursday.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You know what tomorrow is? Saint Patrick's Day? Yeah, that
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: that's what. That's not what you were referring to Friday.
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: All right, so I don't even know what that is.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: You know what your green beer, no free milkshake from
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: mcdomph in Chicago. They turned the river green. Okay. See,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: so before we get out of here, we have a
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: call for you from Victoria. Hey, Steve, my name is Victoria.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I didn't travel halfway around the world and I listened
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: to you everywhere. I just got to say, you know what,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you're real, You're funny. Um. Just keep doing what you're
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: doing because God has busted you with a gift and
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you know what you make my day. I don't care
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: whether it's something good, some bad, some hood or some government,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: whatever it is. You just keep doing what you do
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: be in sight of and that's what you've been. I
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: appreciate you and really look forward to continue hearing you.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: I'm glad that God has blessed you to continue to
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: be here and man, he continue to shine on you.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Keep up to Goord Steve. I love you. One day
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I'll be on your show. Just remember my name Victory.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: It called me Miste. Holla at your girl boy. Yeah,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: got your girl boy. Appreciate that we're gonna keep doing it.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: Ain't nothing else to do, I heard them, Yeah, and
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: do anything else would be a violation. M Yeah, and
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: a dog on it. I like you too, I heard
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: him yeah. But you know, it was interesting that she
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: said God has blessed you with a gift, but don't
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: we all have gifts. Victoria has their own gift, right,
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: everybody got a gift. God never created a soul. He
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: didn't bestore a gift to That's the thing about it.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: It's just the people keep looking at gifts the wrong way.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: They keep thinking, if you're gifted, they're talking about running, jumping, singing, dancing, performing.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Those are gifts if you, If you, if you're a
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: caregiver of people, if you're gifted at that. If everybody
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: wants you to take care of a baby instead of
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: other person, babysitting as a gift. Babysitting turns into daycast centers,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: daycast centers turn into multimillion dollar operations. You can be
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: a landscaper can be your gift. Agriculture farming can be
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: Teaching can be your guilt. There are nurses who are
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: gifted at Nurses. Nurses are important people, man, They're the
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: goal between between the doctor and that patient. Man. If
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: you got a good nurse, man, dog, a nurse can
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: help you out. You got a bad nurse, man, you
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: got a rough state, you got real state. So you know,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: it's a lot of gifts. Man. I know a person
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: whose gift is driving. I met an old guy who
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: was shooting a commercial this weekend and he said, Man,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: this is my dream. I've always wanted to be a
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: truck driver. He's the best job in the world. He's
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: gifted at it, he's I've been driving truck forty some years. Man,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: he said, I would never do nothing else. He say,
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: the freedom of mot on the road. I said, Wow,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: you can be gifted at a lot of stuff, and
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: you have to honor that gift, and your gift will
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: make room for you. But more importantly, if you live
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: in your gift, man, you'll always be content with waking
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: up every morning. It's when you're not living in your
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: gift that you lose your contentment with life. Because if
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: you're waking up doing something you don't enjoy doing, or
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you're not gifted at, you got to do it every
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: day and you don't like it. That's a that's a
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: tough existence, man, And there are so many people doing
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: it because they are afraid to let go of their
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: job and pursue their gift or their dream. And pursuing
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: your dreams, it's difficult. It takes courage to follow your dream.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: It takes courage to quit your job. It takes courage
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: to open a business. It takes courage man to be
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: in a committed relationship. It takes courage to do the
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: right thing. It takes courage to take out that loan.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: It takes courage man to go to school. It takes
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: courage to get a degree. It takes courage to get
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: properly trained. It takes courage to climb the corporate letter.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: You gotta have courage to go to work every day
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: at the post office, at fad X, at UPS, at DHL,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: at the fire department, as a police person. You got
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: to have courage man strap advantage on every day. It
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: takes courage to be what you want to be in
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: life because the devil's mission is to rob you of
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: your destiny. Do you understand what I just said. It
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: takes courage to be what you're supposed to be because
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: the devil's mission is to rob you of your destiny.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: So when you take the step forward to be God
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: intended for you to be, to live your dream, to
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: live in your gift, to go after your purpose, there's
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: going to be opposition. The opposition is real. It's real, man,
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: and that's that's what happens. And people don't people think
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, I know what people think. I
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: do know. Stop expecting it to be easy. Stop tripping
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: every time you get hard. It's gonna be hard. It's
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: hard to have a family, it's hard to raise children,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: it's hard to keep them on the right track. All
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: this stuff is hard, man. It's not easy, y'all. You
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: got some people that make it look easy, but it's
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: hard to take your hat off to these people that's
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: raising these kids out there. Yeah, I wouldn't let my
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: child do that. That ain't your child, This ain't your situation,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and there is no manual for this thing. I would
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: never let no man do me like that. You don't
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: know what a man doing behind your back. You ain't
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: got control of that. Stop with all this, man, y'all.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: This thing is hard, But if you put God in
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: the mix, he can help you deal with all of it.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: Hard becomes easy once you have a solution. Those are
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: my closing remarks today, and I didn't even plan on it.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: Talk to God today, y'all. He loved to hear from you.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: If you don't talk to him, he'll still be there
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: when you do. That's the cool thing about him. But
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: if you don't call me when you say you're gonna
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: call me, lose the number because I'm picking up after that.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: That's different between me and the Lord Lord, ain't you glad?
