- 0:00Speaker 1: There has been a warning, and it's been coming from
- 0:03Speaker 1: this administration for a very long time. Donald Trump making
- 0:06Speaker 1: it clear we must secure our borders and we don't
- 0:09Speaker 1: need to be allowing so many people from around the
- 0:11Speaker 1: world to come into this country until we get immigration
- 0:14Speaker 1: under control. This is a major contrast to what we're
- 0:18Speaker 1: now learning that the United States regularly settled migrants from
- 0:23Speaker 1: the most corrupt nations in the world across American communities.
- 0:28Speaker 1: That coming from a new analysis. Last year, President Donald
- 0:31Speaker 1: Trump halted much of this immigration via executive orders. The analysis,
- 0:37Speaker 1: published by the Center for Immigration Studies, looked at countries
- 0:42Speaker 1: whose citizens Trump's executive orders have either entirely are partially
- 0:48Speaker 1: banned from immigrating to the United States of America now.
- 0:52Speaker 1: In particular, the analysis highlights corruption levels on a nation
- 0:57Speaker 1: by nation basis, showing that in the fiscal year twenty
- 1:01Speaker 1: twenty four and likely prior years, the US issued visas
- 1:06Speaker 1: to tens of thousands of foreign nationals literally from the
- 1:11Speaker 1: most corrupt countries in the entire world. South Sudan, for example,
- 1:17Speaker 1: is ranked as the most corrupt country in the world
- 1:20Speaker 1: according to a study by Transparency International. Somalia is ranked
- 1:25Speaker 1: as the second most corrupt country in the world. Yet,
- 1:29Speaker 1: in the fiscal year twenty twenty four, nearly one thousand
- 1:34Speaker 1: eight internationals from South Sudan and Somalia were issued purposefully
- 1:40Speaker 1: by the United States government visas to come to the
- 1:44Speaker 1: United States of America. Venezuela, which has been partially banned
- 1:49Speaker 1: from visa issuance, ranked as the third most corrupt country
- 1:54Speaker 1: in the world. Despite this, the Biden administration in the
- 1:58Speaker 1: fiscal year twenty two twenty four admitted almost two thousand,
- 2:03Speaker 1: six hundred Venezuelans to the United States of America after
- 2:09Speaker 1: issuing them VISUS. The Center for Immigration Studies Ronald Mortenson
- 2:15Speaker 1: writes that vetting for nationals in such corrupt countries is
- 2:19Speaker 1: nearly impossible to vet for US officials quote in these countries,
- 2:26Speaker 1: there can be no assurance that the documents available to
- 2:31Speaker 1: even vet the individuals applying for the admittance into the
- 2:34Speaker 1: United States are valid or even accurate, Mortenson continues, due
- 2:41Speaker 1: to a combination of incompetence, poor or no record keeping, fraud, bribery,
- 2:50Speaker 1: and personal dishonesty, it's impossible to know what is real
- 2:55Speaker 1: and what's not. Now, let's go to that list for
- 2:58Speaker 1: just a second, and this is the warning that Donald
- 3:00Speaker 1: Trump gave. When there is poor or no record keeping
- 3:04Speaker 1: or incompetency or corruption at this level in different countries,
- 3:09Speaker 1: it's very easy to pay off officials to fraudulently make documents.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You can bribe them. There is personal dishonesty within the
- 3:18Speaker 1: government as well. Quote for the payment of a bribe,
- 3:23Speaker 1: A citizen of these countries, and in some cases even
- 3:26Speaker 1: a non citizen of that country, can obtain the official
- 3:31Speaker 1: documents necessary to apply for entry into the United States,
- 3:37Speaker 1: including a fake birth certificate, doctored law enforcement records, a
- 3:42Speaker 1: phony diploma, a forged passport, fictitious bank statements, and all
- 3:49Speaker 1: other documents normally used by US officials to vet individuals
- 3:55Speaker 1: before they're allowed to enter the United States. Rights that
- 4:00Speaker 1: Trump was left with no option other than to suspend
- 4:05Speaker 1: entry from highly corrupt countries in order to prevent the
- 4:09Speaker 1: further importation of cultures of corruption, since effective vetting is
- 4:14Speaker 1: not possible now. To be clear, what this study is
- 4:17Speaker 1: saying is that if you want to get to the
- 4:19Speaker 1: front of the line, and you want to come to
- 4:21Speaker 1: the United States of America from these corrupt countries, you're
- 4:24Speaker 1: probably gonna have to pay up and then someone's going
- 4:26Speaker 1: to lie on your behalf. And if you are a
- 4:29Speaker 1: law abiding citizen in one of these corrupt countries, the
- 4:32Speaker 1: chances of you actually getting the documents you need to
- 4:36Speaker 1: try to come to the United States of America are
- 4:38Speaker 1: actually very unlikely because you would have to pay bribes
- 4:42Speaker 1: to even get in line to be able to come
- 4:44Speaker 1: to the United States of America. You can understand why
- 4:48Speaker 1: this is such a massive problem now if you look
- 4:51Speaker 1: at the actual list of the most corrupt countries South Sudan, Somalia, Syria,
- 4:59Speaker 1: Ecuadorial Guinea, Libya, Yemen, Soudan, Burma, Haiti, Afghanistan, Republic of
- 5:08Speaker 1: the Congo, Chad, Iran, Molly Laos, Sierra Leone, Niger, And
- 5:15Speaker 1: that is just a partialist of the countries that the
- 5:19Speaker 1: President of the United States of America said, we just
- 5:22Speaker 1: cannot trust you. When you look at how corrupt they are,
- 5:26Speaker 1: they're almost all a ten out of ten. And then
- 5:29Speaker 1: you have the migrant visas. You had many of them
- 5:33Speaker 1: that were categorized as special immigrants, for example in Afghanistan
- 5:39Speaker 1: thirty three thousand. You look at employment preference coming out
- 5:44Speaker 1: of Afghanistan, for example of the thirty three thousand, only
- 5:48Speaker 1: twenty eight were because of jobs diversity immigrants coming out
- 5:54Speaker 1: of Afghanistan. Of the thirty three thousand, only one thousand.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Look at the numbers. It is truly staggering, and this
- 6:03Speaker 1: is exactly who the Biden administration was letting in to
- 6:06Speaker 1: the United States of America. For the next sixty seconds,
- 6:10Speaker 1: can you hit pause on your life and just think
- 6:12Speaker 1: about this. Every day, millions of children face a crushing reality,
- 6:17Speaker 1: a constant defeating message echoes and their empty stomachs and
- 6:21Speaker 1: their desperate eyes. It is that you don't matter. Poverty
- 6:24Speaker 1: doesn't just steal food and shelter. It steals hope, dignity,
- 6:28Speaker 1: and the fundamental belief that they are loved. But there's
- 6:31Speaker 1: another message, one of boundless love and hope. Through Compassion International,
- 6:36Speaker 1: you can change the child's story forever. You can sponsor
- 6:39Speaker 1: child just like I do. You can introduce them to
- 6:42Speaker 1: a loving, heavenly father. You can equip them with education, healthcare,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and the support to overcome poverty. This isn't just about
- 6:50Speaker 1: one child. It's about transforming families, revitalizing communities, and changing nations.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It's about proving that every child truly matters. So help
- 7:00Speaker 1: give a child a future, give them hope. Visit compassion
- 7:04Speaker 1: dot com today. That's compassion dot com, which also brings
- 7:09Speaker 1: us to something interesting that Hillary Clinton said this week,
- 7:13Speaker 1: as she was speaking, of course, trashing America, she did
- 7:18Speaker 1: accidentally tell the truth when she was talking at the
- 7:21Speaker 1: Security Council in Munich.
- 7:23Speaker 2: There is a legitimate reason to have a debate about
- 7:27Speaker 2: things like migration.
- 7:29Speaker 1: It went too far.
- 7:30Speaker 2: It's been disruptive and destabilizing, and it needs to be
- 7:35Speaker 2: fixed in a humane way with secure borders that don't
- 7:38Speaker 2: torture and kill people. And how we're going to have
- 7:42Speaker 2: a strong family structure because it is at.
- 7:47Speaker 1: You listen to Hillary Clinton there, even she's telling the
- 7:50Speaker 1: truth being blown on immigration. It needs to be fixed
- 7:54Speaker 1: in a humane way with secure borders that don't torture
- 7:57Speaker 1: and kill people. She went on to say, accusing the
- 8:00Speaker 1: Trump administration of killing and torturing people, which is not happening. Yeah,
- 8:05Speaker 1: she's still going to play politics and still slander her
- 8:08Speaker 1: own government and attack ICE agents, just like Barack Obama
- 8:12Speaker 1: did this past week as well, implying that our agents
- 8:16Speaker 1: are so evil that well we should hold them accountable.
- 8:21Speaker 3: The role behavior of agents of the federal government is
- 8:28Speaker 3: deeply concerning and dangerous. The sort of behavior that in
- 8:36Speaker 3: the past we've seen in authoritarian countries and we've seen
- 8:39Speaker 3: in dictatorships, but we have not seen in America.
- 8:44Speaker 1: So Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and you can also add
- 8:47Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom to the list of politicians saying we need
- 8:51Speaker 1: to have a more orderly way of doing this in
- 8:54Speaker 1: America instead of having wide open borders which they created,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but slandering American law enforcement and the trumpetmen at the
- 9:01Speaker 1: exact same time.
- 9:02Speaker 4: But I want to remember all those images of masked men,
- 9:05Speaker 4: the secret police something familiar in Germany. Those first images
- 9:11Speaker 4: came out of my state, the second largest city in
- 9:14Speaker 4: the United States of America. We saw four thousand National
- 9:16Speaker 4: Guard federalized first time. We never see anything like this,
- 9:20Speaker 4: and seven hundred active duty Marines sent not overseas, but
- 9:24Speaker 4: to the second largest city in the United States of America,
- 9:26Speaker 4: militarizing the streets of my city. Masked men, masked men
- 9:30Speaker 4: showing up, unaccountable, no idea, ideas.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So to be clear, Democrats today are admitting they created
- 9:37Speaker 1: the chaos, but they're more angry at the man who's
- 9:40Speaker 1: cleaning up their mess, Donald Trump. And what Donald Trump
- 9:44Speaker 1: is clearly doing is saying, not only am I cleaning
- 9:47Speaker 1: up your mess in America that you created and in
- 9:51Speaker 1: places like California or Minnesota, but I'm also making sure
- 9:56Speaker 1: that those that are taking advantages that are coming in
- 9:58Speaker 1: on visas are being stopped as well. And this is
- 10:02Speaker 1: exactly what Donald Trump promised in the campaign, and he's
- 10:06Speaker 1: clearly making good on that promise. And it's driving the
- 10:08Speaker 1: left crazy, which is now why they're comparing Ice agents
- 10:13Speaker 1: to Nazis even while they're in Germany in Munich at
- 10:17Speaker 1: a conference attacking their own country. So you know, the
- 10:21Speaker 1: Democratic Party has been obsessed with the Epstein files ever
- 10:24Speaker 1: since they thought it could actually somehow hurt Donald Trump.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Now they didn't actually push to release the files. They
- 10:30Speaker 1: just wanted to imply that Donald Trump was somehow involved
- 10:34Speaker 1: in nefarious activities that didn't happen. The Epstein files, of course,
- 10:40Speaker 1: they wanted to use to hit Republicans, saying they were
- 10:43Speaker 1: trying to hide something or protect a bunch of Republicans. Well,
- 10:46Speaker 1: now we know that the majority of the people that
- 10:48Speaker 1: are listed in the Epstein files are actually a bunch
- 10:51Speaker 1: of woke, radical lefties. I just want to say that
- 10:54Speaker 1: to put in perspective that the Democratic Party hasn't changed
- 10:57Speaker 1: at all. And if you thought they were changing and
- 11:01Speaker 1: caring about children and victims, that they wouldn't be doing
- 11:04Speaker 1: what I'm about to tell you. The newest headline is
- 11:08Speaker 1: proof of just how evil the Democrats actually are. Democrat
- 11:13Speaker 1: Kansas governor has the side to step forward and make
- 11:17Speaker 1: sure she protects the sickos more than ever before. The
- 11:22Speaker 1: governor there, Laura Kelly, has vetoed a Republican led bill
- 11:26Speaker 1: on Friday that mandates people use restrooms according to their
- 11:32Speaker 1: biology rather than their self proclaimed gender identity. Republican lawmakers,
- 11:40Speaker 1: who dominated both the House and Senate in the state,
- 11:44Speaker 1: are planning to try to override the veto. Local news
- 11:47Speaker 1: reports are now saying, quote, instead of standing with the
- 11:52Speaker 1: overwhelming majority of Kansas on this issue, the governor chose
- 11:57Speaker 1: to appease her most radical supporters at the cost of
- 12:00Speaker 1: women and girls in our state. That is what the
- 12:04Speaker 1: Republican House Speaker Dan Hawkins said in a statement. Now,
- 12:08Speaker 1: the bill passed with more than two thirds support of
- 12:13Speaker 1: the state House and Senate, meaning supporters have a good
- 12:16Speaker 1: chance of overriding Kelly's veto enforcing the bill into law.
- 12:22Speaker 1: It just codifies social norms, is what Republican state represented.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Bob Lewis said after the bill passed and before the veto, saying, quote,
- 12:31Speaker 1: when people go into bathrooms or locker rooms, there's just
- 12:35Speaker 1: an expectation that it'll be single sex, meaning if you're
- 12:40Speaker 1: a dude, it's only dudes, and if you're a chick,
- 12:43Speaker 1: it's only chicks. Kelly said in a statement, the bill
- 12:46Speaker 1: is poorly drafted. Of course the governor would say that
- 12:50Speaker 1: and could have an implication, she claims, beyond bathroom use,
- 12:55Speaker 1: saying quote, I believe the legislature should try and stay
- 12:59Speaker 1: out of the business of telling Kansons how to go
- 13:02Speaker 1: to the bathroom and instead stay focused on how to
- 13:05Speaker 1: make life more affordable for Kansons. She said. The bill
- 13:10Speaker 1: would specifically require government buildings, which include public schools and universities,
- 13:16Speaker 1: to separate bathrooms and locker rooms by biological sex. I
- 13:21Speaker 1: don't know how much more well written you could make
- 13:24Speaker 1: this bill, but of course the governor's looking for any
- 13:27Speaker 1: lie to say, I'm going to veto it. Those who
- 13:30Speaker 1: violate the law would be fined or sued for one
- 13:34Speaker 1: thousand dollars and could be criminally charged for repeatedly using
- 13:38Speaker 1: facilities that do not match their biological reality. Quote. There
- 13:44Speaker 1: are some expectations. Children would be allowed in opposite sex
- 13:48Speaker 1: restrooms up to the age of eight, as long as
- 13:51Speaker 1: a caregiver is with them. Coaches would be allowed in
- 13:55Speaker 1: opposite sex locker rooms as long as everyone is clothed.
- 13:59Speaker 1: According to the report. Another part of the bill would
- 14:02Speaker 1: bar Kansas residents from changing the sex marker on their
- 14:06Speaker 1: state issue driver's license and birth certificates for the report. Now,
- 14:11Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five, the state legislature was able to
- 14:14Speaker 1: successfully override a veto from Kelly to pass a law
- 14:18Speaker 1: banning sex change drugs for miners. That law is now
- 14:23Speaker 1: being challenged in state court because of the governor, which
- 14:27Speaker 1: goes back to the core principle that I mentioned earlier.
- 14:31Speaker 1: If you think the radical left is giving up on
- 14:34Speaker 1: turning kids into the opposite sex or mutilating their bodies,
- 14:39Speaker 1: you're just wrong. Kansas Republicans were forced to override the
- 14:44Speaker 1: governor and ban gender affirming care for miners. Is how
- 14:48Speaker 1: MPR led with their headline recently saying, quote, after several
- 14:53Speaker 1: years failed attempts Kansas Republican lawmakers muster the votes necessary
- 14:57Speaker 1: to override Governor Laura Kelly's veto and force a gender
- 15:02Speaker 1: affirming care ban for miners into law. Now, Notice how
- 15:05Speaker 1: MPR writes that, and yes, your tax dollars are going
- 15:08Speaker 1: to this type of writing, And what an MPR do there?
- 15:11Speaker 1: They said it was several failed attempts, Like they're crazy.
- 15:15Speaker 1: They had to get a super majority to override the veto,
- 15:18Speaker 1: let's be clear, in a matter of days. The article
- 15:22Speaker 1: goes on to say transgender miners in Kansas might lose
- 15:25Speaker 1: options for hormone treatment, surgeries, and other care. Notice how
- 15:30Speaker 1: MPR refers to it as care instead of body mutilation.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Republican lawmakers overrode the veto to put a ban on
- 15:37Speaker 1: gender affirming healthcare into law on Tuesday. As with similar
- 15:41Speaker 1: efforts in the past year, the Democratic Governor Laura Kelly
- 15:45Speaker 1: vetoed the bill. Notice, the governor doesn't care what the
- 15:47Speaker 1: people want. When you get two thirds of a legislature
- 15:51Speaker 1: that approves something, It's amazing that a governor would veto
- 15:56Speaker 1: it because she's clearly not listening to the constituents in
- 15:59Speaker 1: her state. Clearly she doesn't care about that, Proponents said,
- 16:03Speaker 1: the ban is a common sense measure to protect children
- 16:07Speaker 1: from irreversible decisions. In a floridabate, representative Angela Stein's called
- 16:12Speaker 1: gender dysphoria among teens a social contagion. We know children
- 16:18Speaker 1: and adolescents lack the emotional and cognitive maturity to consent
- 16:22Speaker 1: to treatment that may have life long consequences, the elected
- 16:26Speaker 1: officials said. But of course democrats made it clear they
- 16:30Speaker 1: don't care if adults advocate for a child mutilating their
- 16:35Speaker 1: own bodies. Of course, they want you to believe that
- 16:37Speaker 1: a child can choose and know the long term decision
- 16:41Speaker 1: making and the consequences from it. That is obviously a lie.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So why are they so obsessed with this and for example,
- 16:50Speaker 1: forcing you to allow a man into your child's bathroom
- 16:54Speaker 1: in school, or a locker room or to place they
- 16:57Speaker 1: work out. It's very simple. Is because they are obsessed
- 17:03Speaker 1: with the LGBTQI plus plus plus agenda. No matter what
- 17:09Speaker 1: the people say, no matter what the people reject, no
- 17:12Speaker 1: matter where the people draw the line, the radical left
- 17:17Speaker 1: is sold out for mutilating children, even if it means
- 17:22Speaker 1: irreversible consequences for a child who may decide later in
- 17:28Speaker 1: life they maybe want to have a child, or maybe
- 17:31Speaker 1: they didn't really want to transition from a girl to
- 17:34Speaker 1: a boy. So why is the governor doing this in Kansas?
- 17:38Speaker 1: It's for one reason. This is what the Democratic Party
- 17:42Speaker 1: has become. This is what they believe in, and they're
- 17:46Speaker 1: not backing down anytime soon. I want to move to
- 17:51Speaker 1: another update for you of what's going on in Iran
- 17:53Speaker 1: right now. There's been a lot of other news that
- 17:56Speaker 1: has taken over, but what's happening in Iran is extremely
- 18:00Speaker 1: important when it comes to national security. We're now being
- 18:03Speaker 1: told that Iran has launched war drills in the Strait
- 18:07Speaker 1: of Her Moves as US carrier is flying missions twenty
- 18:11Speaker 1: four to seven before the Geneva talks this week, the
- 18:15Speaker 1: Irgc Navy has conducted what they say is smart control
- 18:20Speaker 1: of the Strait of Her Moves and this is ahead
- 18:23Speaker 1: of the key nuclear discussions. Here's more on that from
- 18:26Speaker 1: Fox News Channel about exactly what all we now have
- 18:30Speaker 1: in the Middle East.
- 18:32Speaker 5: Another aircraft carrier now en route to the Mid East,
- 18:34Speaker 5: adding to the already very robust US presence there. This
- 18:39Speaker 5: comes as American Iranian diplomats get ready for another round
- 18:42Speaker 5: of key nuclear talks face to face tomorrow. Chief National
- 18:45Speaker 5: Security correspondent Jennifer Griffin, Fourth Life from the DC Newsroom.
- 18:49Speaker 6: Hi Jennifer, Hi Jillian. Well, it's hard to imagine the
- 18:52Speaker 6: US or Israel carrying out military strikes in Iran before
- 18:56Speaker 6: the Olympics end on February twenty second. You'll remember that
- 18:59Speaker 6: Putin and vad crimea after the end of the Sochi
- 19:02Speaker 6: Olympics in twenty fourteen, and again sent one hundred and
- 19:05Speaker 6: fifty thousand troops into Ukraine after the closing ceremony in
- 19:09Speaker 6: Beijing four years ago. Right now, all eyes are on Geneva,
- 19:13Speaker 6: where Iran's Foreign minister met with the head of the IAEA,
- 19:17Speaker 6: Raphael Grossi today ahead of nuclear talks with the US,
- 19:21Speaker 6: vowing to quote achieve a fair and equitable deal, adding
- 19:25Speaker 6: Iran will not submit to threats. The talks will focus
- 19:29Speaker 6: on the nuclear issue and not address Iran's massive ballistic
- 19:32Speaker 6: missile stockpile or regime change, as Israel and hundreds of
- 19:37Speaker 6: thousands of Iranian protesters around the world demanded over the weekend.
- 19:41Speaker 6: Police estimated five hundred and seventy thousand protested in Toronto
- 19:46Speaker 6: on Saturday, the largest ever rally by the Iranian diaspora ever,
- 19:51Speaker 6: three hundred and fifty thousand Iranians in Los Angeles. Heated
- 19:54Speaker 6: the call of exiled leader Rezapavlavi to protest against the regime.
- 20:00Speaker 7: We have to make a deal otherwise it's going to
- 20:02Speaker 7: be very traumatic, very traumatic.
- 20:05Speaker 8: I don't want that to happen.
- 20:07Speaker 6: With talks as a backdrop, the US has deployed a
- 20:10Speaker 6: second aircraft carrier strike group, The USS Gerald R. Ford,
- 20:14Speaker 6: will join the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Middle East.
- 20:17Speaker 6: The soonest the USS Ford can arrive from the Caribbean
- 20:21Speaker 6: would be next Monday. One third of the US Navy's
- 20:25Speaker 6: deployed naval assets are now headed to or deployed in
- 20:28Speaker 6: the Middle East, a similar build up to what we
- 20:31Speaker 6: saw before the Venezuela strike. The Ford has been at
- 20:34Speaker 6: sea since June, the longest any aircraft carrier has ever
- 20:38Speaker 6: been at sea. It's three hundred and twenty one days
- 20:40Speaker 6: or ten and a half months. That was during COVID.
- 20:43Speaker 6: All eyes now are on the eighteen f thirty fives
- 20:46Speaker 6: that left Lakenheath Airbase in the UK en route to
- 20:49Speaker 6: the Middle East. Accompanying them are a number of KC
- 20:52Speaker 6: one thirty five air refueling tankers each side, attempting a
- 20:56Speaker 6: bit of gunboat diplomacy, with Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps holding
- 21:00Speaker 6: military drills in the Strait of Horne Moves today, Iran
- 21:03Speaker 6: has repeatedly threatened to close the Strait of Horror Moves
- 21:06Speaker 6: in retaliation against any attack, which of course would choke
- 21:10Speaker 6: a fifth of global oil flows and send crude prices
- 21:14Speaker 6: sharply hired.
- 21:14Speaker 9: Jillian.
- 21:15Speaker 1: So you listen to that, and Iran launches a live
- 21:18Speaker 1: fire naval exercise and they're threatening to shut down the
- 21:22Speaker 1: Strait of Hormos. That is their leverage. That's basically all
- 21:27Speaker 1: the leverage they have because toe to toe their military
- 21:30Speaker 1: doesn't send a chance against ours. Now. The drill, called
- 21:34Speaker 1: Smart Control of the Strait of Hermos was led by
- 21:36Speaker 1: the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard you know
- 21:40Speaker 1: in them as the IRGC, and it came under the
- 21:43Speaker 1: supervision of the Commander in Chief, the Major General Muhammad Pakpoor,
- 21:50Speaker 1: according to Iran International Now State media also said the
- 21:54Speaker 1: exercise was organized to assess the readiness of operational units,
- 21:59Speaker 1: reviews security plans, and rehearse scenarios for responding to any
- 22:03Speaker 1: security or military threats in the area. The exercise came
- 22:08Speaker 1: within hours of renewed diplomatic efforts starting in Geneva, basically saying,
- 22:13Speaker 1: you're going to bring all your military assets to this
- 22:16Speaker 1: part of the world. Fine, we'll show you what we
- 22:18Speaker 1: can do. I don't think that's going to have any
- 22:21Speaker 1: impact on Donald Trump or the US military. I am
- 22:24Speaker 1: in Geneva with real ideas to achieve a fair and
- 22:27Speaker 1: acurable deal, is what the Iranian foreign minister wrote on
- 22:30Speaker 1: x Monday. What is not on the table submission before threats.
- 22:35Speaker 1: President Donald Trump has ordered this build up of the
- 22:38Speaker 1: US military forces in the Middle East, much like exactly
- 22:42Speaker 1: what happened when we went into you guessed it, Venezuela,
- 22:46Speaker 1: and it's threatened to strike Iran if its leadership does
- 22:49Speaker 1: not agree to a deal on its nuclear program. On Friday,
- 22:54Speaker 1: Trump also offered an endorsement of regime change in Tehran
- 22:59Speaker 1: and said it would be the best thing that could
- 23:01Speaker 1: happen for Iran and the Iranian people. US Central Command,
- 23:05Speaker 1: or SYNCOM, went on to show US military presence in
- 23:08Speaker 1: the region on Monday as well, making it very clear
- 23:11Speaker 1: that we're not messing around putting out a tweet saying
- 23:15Speaker 1: the EA DASH eighteen G growlers from Electronic Attack Squadron
- 23:21Speaker 1: one thirty three and the F thirty five C lightning
- 23:25Speaker 1: from Marine Fighter Squadron one to fourteen prepare for launch
- 23:28Speaker 1: on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln, operating in
- 23:33Speaker 1: international waters in the Middle East. The aircraft carrier conducts
- 23:36Speaker 1: around the clock. It is very clear that the President
- 23:40Speaker 1: is wanting them to understand. In Iran, we're not messing
- 23:43Speaker 1: around either. The Pentagon has also been building up what
- 23:47Speaker 1: Trump has described as an armada in the region. The
- 23:51Speaker 1: USS Abraham Lincoln is present and it's flanked by three
- 23:55Speaker 1: warships equipped with Tomahawk missiles and is at the center
- 23:59Speaker 1: of a broader us NA will build up in the region. Meanwhile,
- 24:02Speaker 1: Tehran said the second round of talks would be held
- 24:05Speaker 1: on Tuesday with the Mediation and Good Offices of Oman.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Negotiations restarted on February the sixth, after previous talks collapsed
- 24:14Speaker 1: when Israel launched an unprecedent bombing campaign against Iran in
- 24:19Speaker 1: June that sparked a twelve day war and escalated tensions
- 24:23Speaker 1: across the region. On Monday, US ambassador to Israel. Mike
- 24:27Speaker 1: Kakabee said there was quote significant and legitimate doubt that
- 24:32Speaker 1: the Iranians will ever agree to something that would cause
- 24:35Speaker 1: them to lay down any ambitions of nuclear weaponry. Trump
- 24:40Speaker 1: also told reporters on Monday, I'll be involved in those
- 24:43Speaker 1: talks directly, and they'll be very important, and we'll see
- 24:47Speaker 1: what can happen. He added, I would say they're bad
- 24:51Speaker 1: negotiators because we could have had a deal instead of
- 24:54Speaker 1: sending the B twos to knock out their nuclear potential.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I hope they're going to be more reasonable. They want
- 25:00Speaker 1: to make a deal now.
- 25:02Speaker 8: Doland.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Trump also made it very clear as he was on
- 25:04Speaker 1: the tarmac reiterating before he got on Air Force one.
- 25:08Speaker 1: When he was asked a question by a reporter, do
- 25:10Speaker 1: you want regime change in Iran? The President said this again.
- 25:15Speaker 7: Each change and ran, well, it seems like that would
- 25:18Speaker 7: be the best thing that could happen.
- 25:21Speaker 8: For forty seven years, they've been talking and talking and talking.
- 25:23Speaker 8: In the meantime, we've lost a lot.
- 25:26Speaker 7: Of lives while they talk, and legs blown off, arms
- 25:29Speaker 7: blown off, faces blown off.
- 25:32Speaker 8: Has been going on for a long time.
- 25:33Speaker 7: So let's see what happens in the meantime we have meantime,
- 25:37Speaker 7: we have tremendous power has arrived and additional power as
- 25:41Speaker 7: you know, and other carriers going out shortly, So we'll
- 25:45Speaker 7: see it. How if we could get it settled for
- 25:47Speaker 7: once and for.
- 25:48Speaker 8: All, that to be good. Don't want it. But who
- 25:51Speaker 8: would you want to take on? I don't want to
- 25:53Speaker 8: talk about that.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Who would you want to take over? I don't want
- 25:57Speaker 1: to talk about that. The President obviously know exactly what
- 26:00Speaker 1: he's doing here when it comes to negotiating, and this
- 26:03Speaker 1: also comes as the Iranian leaders are fighting back as well,
- 26:07Speaker 1: and the Middle East tensions are very clear that you
- 26:11Speaker 1: now have Trump that's making all the moves, and what
- 26:14Speaker 1: is Iran doing. Here's how one of the experts on
- 26:17Speaker 1: Fox put it clearly.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Yeah, Melissa, there are questions on both parties about what
- 26:22Speaker 6: comes next, you know, if you go forward with this.
- 26:26Speaker 4: No.
- 26:26Speaker 9: Look, I think that the President has tried, you know,
- 26:29Speaker 9: for weeks on and to do this diplomatically, and he
- 26:32Speaker 9: is demonstrating to the regime in the Middle East that
- 26:35Speaker 9: he is serious and that he is making all of
- 26:37Speaker 9: the moves that if he has to use force, he
- 26:39Speaker 9: will not hesitate. And we've seen him not hesitate in
- 26:42Speaker 9: other places. So I agree that he needs to be
- 26:45Speaker 9: making this case to the American public if he is
- 26:48Speaker 9: indeed going to use force, or else you're going to
- 26:50Speaker 9: end up in a Venezuela situation where one morning the
- 26:52Speaker 9: country wakes up and it's like whiplash and you have
- 26:55Speaker 9: no idea how you got there. So if he is
- 26:57Speaker 9: going to move forward, it looks more likely he's going
- 26:59Speaker 9: to do this would behoove him to lay the groundwork
- 27:01Speaker 9: for the American public to get there.
- 27:03Speaker 4: Buy in.
- 27:04Speaker 1: One thing is very clear, Donald Trump is in control.
- 27:09Speaker 1: He's willing to negotiate, but he's not going to allow
- 27:12Speaker 1: Iran to get nuclear weapons or move forward with a
- 27:15Speaker 1: nuclear program. And so now it really comes up to
- 27:19Speaker 1: the one issue, will Iran come to the table or
- 27:22Speaker 1: will the President have to push back in a very
- 27:24Speaker 1: real way. One thing is for sure, he's certainly using
- 27:28Speaker 1: every tool in his toolbox to avoid a real conflict.
- 27:32Speaker 1: And now we just have to wait and see what happens.
