- 2:01Speaker 3: Uh?
- 2:02Speaker 7: I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 8: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only. It is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I got
- 2:14Speaker 8: a radio show. Okay, this is a timely for everybody.
- 2:20Speaker 8: I'm sure I want to offer you all some encouragement
- 2:28Speaker 8: because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. You strike
- 2:35Speaker 8: out on your goals, you strike out on your aspirations,
- 2:39Speaker 8: and so.
- 2:40Speaker 7: You strike out, as it happens to all of us.
- 2:45Speaker 7: Here it comes life.
- 2:49Speaker 8: Life just hits one of them bad notes as it
- 2:53Speaker 8: always does, as it always does for all of us,
- 2:58Speaker 8: for everybody. Now, when those bad notes happen, when the
- 3:05Speaker 8: haters come out of nowhere, when the setback comes up,
- 3:09Speaker 8: when when the eye of nowhere appears, when now I
- 3:13Speaker 8: didn't see that coming comes, Here's here's what you have
- 3:18Speaker 8: to do. Here is the thing that I have been
- 3:22Speaker 8: teaching myself for years that I used to not always understand,
- 3:28Speaker 8: so I'm trying to give it to you. You have
- 3:33Speaker 8: to be encouraged anyway. Now that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what
- 3:38Speaker 8: you're talking about? You just told me all this discouraging
- 3:41Speaker 8: stuff that can happen, and you said you got to
- 3:43Speaker 8: be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man, you have to because what's
- 3:51Speaker 8: happening to you right now, the thing that you're going
- 3:54Speaker 8: through right now, the thing that everybody's going through right now.
- 3:58Speaker 8: Ain't nobody else moveth sailing, man. Everybody got something and
- 4:03Speaker 8: if they if they don't smooth sailing, just know this
- 4:06Speaker 8: is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody. It's just
- 4:09Speaker 8: that this is life. This is how it happens everybody,
- 4:13Speaker 8: So please stop stop getting on the old woe is
- 4:16Speaker 8: Me bandwagon?
- 4:17Speaker 5: Old Lord?
- 4:18Speaker 7: Why met old Lord?
- 4:19Speaker 8: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:26Speaker 8: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:28Speaker 8: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged. You
- 4:31Speaker 8: got to remember in those times, in those times when
- 4:36Speaker 8: it's going wrong, you got to remember all that you've
- 4:40Speaker 8: been through. You got to remember all that you've come through.
- 4:47Speaker 8: You have to remember those other times when you felt
- 4:50Speaker 8: like this, and somehow unexplainably you don't even really stop
- 4:56Speaker 8: to say nothing about it.
- 4:57Speaker 7: It just changed for you. And the problem that was
- 5:01Speaker 7: is no more.
- 5:03Speaker 8: And the situation that seems so insurmountable, you got over it.
- 5:09Speaker 8: You got around it, You got over it. Sometimes you
- 5:14Speaker 8: just got to slide right under it. Sometimes you got
- 5:19Speaker 8: to plow through it. But in those times when it's
- 5:24Speaker 8: discouraging for you, when you feel like giving up, those
- 5:29Speaker 8: are the test. Those are the moments that will determine
- 5:36Speaker 8: whether we make it or not. I'll tell you one
- 5:39Speaker 8: thing for sure. If you give up in these moments
- 5:42Speaker 8: right here here is a for show you'll never make it.
- 5:46Speaker 8: That's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in these
- 5:52Speaker 8: dark times, if you give up in these what you
- 5:56Speaker 8: think is insurmountable moments, if you turn back now here
- 6:02Speaker 8: is the one thousand percent for sure you ain't gonna
- 6:05Speaker 8: make it. But there is a bright side to this situation.
- 6:10Speaker 8: If you keep your head down, if you keep forging,
- 6:15Speaker 8: if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if you just stand
- 6:19Speaker 8: there and sometimes get knocked to your knees.
- 6:22Speaker 7: But if you stay in that place, if.
- 6:25Speaker 8: You just stay there and ride the storm out, my
- 6:28Speaker 8: head is bloodied but unbowed.
- 6:32Speaker 7: If you can just stay there, if you consider in.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That moment.
- 6:41Speaker 7: And ride it out, you will win.
- 6:45Speaker 8: You will pass the test, and you will get to
- 6:48Speaker 8: move on to the next level. But there is no
- 6:52Speaker 8: next level without a test. You can't get to grade
- 6:56Speaker 8: six without passing grade five. You can't be a senior
- 7:01Speaker 8: without first being a junior. You can't graduate without fulfilling
- 7:07Speaker 8: the hours and requirements. You see, I don't care what
- 7:11Speaker 8: you do in life. Look at it. It's all set
- 7:14Speaker 8: up on levels. Well, you've got to accomplish the thing
- 7:18Speaker 8: before in order to get to the next level. And
- 7:20Speaker 8: when you've made those level accomplishments, you get to graduate.
- 7:25Speaker 8: Now you can go on and get a master's and
- 7:26Speaker 8: a pH d. You can go on and become rich.
- 7:29Speaker 8: You can go become wealthy, or you can go or
- 7:32Speaker 8: you can go somewhere and think yourself in another set
- 7:34Speaker 8: of circumstances. But you got to go through something to
- 7:37Speaker 8: get to something that ain't nothing free. So you can
- 7:41Speaker 8: stop that notion about being successful that is easy. Come on, man,
- 7:45Speaker 8: if it was easy, what we don't what we're talking about.
- 7:50Speaker 8: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 8: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 8:00Speaker 8: I want to know what that is. Try not being
- 8:02Speaker 8: successful your whole life. That's hard. You are listening to
- 8:08Speaker 8: a person who has done them both been successful and
- 8:14Speaker 8: really really been not successful. And I got news for you.
- 8:18Speaker 8: Both of them hard. But I would rather deal with
- 8:22Speaker 8: what it is to be something, to make something out
- 8:25Speaker 8: of myself, to force myself to go to work when
- 8:28Speaker 8: I don't feel like it. This morning was a rough
- 8:30Speaker 8: get up for me, but I got up and I
- 8:33Speaker 8: said thank you anyway. Never give up and out of
- 8:37Speaker 8: watch this dude to heed to mess around and got
- 8:39Speaker 8: close to me because he just never gave up.
- 8:42Speaker 7: Get You can never ever give up. Never. It's not
- 8:46Speaker 7: an option.
- 8:48Speaker 8: Giving up cannot be an option for you.
- 8:51Speaker 7: You cannot do that. It's out of the question.
- 8:55Speaker 8: It's inconceivable in your mind to quit, because to quit
- 8:59Speaker 8: is to what what you get when you quit nothing.
- 9:04Speaker 8: That is a reward for those who hang in there,
- 9:07Speaker 8: who never give up, who forge through, who see it through,
- 9:11Speaker 8: who get knocked down and get back up. Who gets
- 9:14Speaker 8: trample but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 9:19Speaker 8: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 9:22Speaker 8: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 9:25Speaker 8: Think of all you come through. Think of all He's
- 9:27Speaker 8: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 9:30Speaker 8: you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow, without you ever
- 9:33Speaker 8: even saying thank you, he got through. He got you
- 9:35Speaker 8: through it. Anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 9:38Speaker 8: kind of need that in our life. All will all
- 9:42Speaker 8: I need is a little more grace. You can't give
- 9:45Speaker 8: God no money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free.
- 9:49Speaker 8: It's available to everybody, but you can't get none if
- 9:52Speaker 8: you quit. Don't give up. I'll just tell you that
- 9:55Speaker 8: flat out. Don't ever give up.
- 9:56Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your attention please. It
- 10:08Speaker 8: is simply to remind you how good God is. And
- 10:13Speaker 8: I would like to also make a reference to a
- 10:15Speaker 8: call we had the other day. A young gentleman called
- 10:18Speaker 8: in and said, the hypocrisy of this show bothers him
- 10:21Speaker 8: because in the beginning we talk about God and then
- 10:24Speaker 8: later later on it don't sound like it sounds hypocritical
- 10:30Speaker 8: to him because we don't mention God no more we
- 10:32Speaker 8: do some other things. Well, just wanted to let him
- 10:34Speaker 8: know the same thing is going to happen today. I'm
- 10:37Speaker 8: going to remind you again how good God is and
- 10:41Speaker 8: without God I would be nothing, and asking you that
- 10:44Speaker 8: if you want to make your life better, put some
- 10:46Speaker 8: God in it. Now that we've done that and got
- 10:50Speaker 8: that out the way, I'm about to introduce to you
- 10:53Speaker 8: five people who are like family to me, and then
- 10:57Speaker 8: we'll have a continuational conversation and we'll go the commercial break,
- 11:01Speaker 8: and after that we will go about the business of
- 11:05Speaker 8: doing what you say we do being hypocrites. Ladies, gentlemen,
- 11:11Speaker 8: Shelon Strawberry Collins Real Mississippi, Monica Junior, and the legend
- 11:14Speaker 8: that is Nephew Tommy Junr.

- 11:35Speaker 9: He didn't even know what you were doing. Steve didn't
- 11:40Speaker 9: even know the song?

- 11:44Speaker 2: Who was the artist?
- 11:44Speaker 7: Who was who was looking back? Who is that? Over

- 13:15Speaker 11: not mine.
- 13:16Speaker 8: Every now and then one of my regrets is hiding you.

- 38:05Speaker 9: ideal body count to be. So here's a breakdown. Gen
- 38:09Speaker 9: Z that's the current young adult generation now prefers someone
- 38:15Speaker 9: with a history of let's say one to two partners.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Okay, that's gen Z.
- 38:20Speaker 9: Millennials ages thirty to forty five are fine with three
- 38:24Speaker 9: to five as their body count. Now gen X's that's
- 38:28Speaker 9: age forty six to sixty one year old, and Boomer's
- 38:32Speaker 9: ages sixty one to seventy nine years old, seem to
- 38:35Speaker 9: be the least bothered about sexual history.
- 38:39Speaker 1: They don't care, They don't give a darn.
- 38:41Speaker 9: As both groups agreed that between five and ten, five
- 38:46Speaker 9: and ten past partners is acceptable to have. They're okay
- 38:50Speaker 9: with that five to ten. Yeah, but Steve, you have
- 38:53Speaker 9: a rule about body count right especially for women, double
- 38:56Speaker 9: standard women right.
- 38:57Speaker 7: Care usual max numbers?
- 38:59Speaker 8: Don't do you holding your fingers up and all this
- 39:02Speaker 8: he'll talking.
- 39:02Speaker 1: About carrying the one and all of that.
- 39:06Speaker 7: I was in Mississippian, was in Georgia.
- 39:08Speaker 12: And then then remind me that wee God.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Because lay something for me.
- 39:23Speaker 8: Tommy and Junior, What would you all consider a high
- 39:28Speaker 8: body count? What's the number that you all will consider
- 39:33Speaker 8: any one of us having. That's a high body.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Count before money or after money?
- 39:40Speaker 10: It don't matter, okay, So let's go Okay, so let's
- 39:44Speaker 10: do let's do like the survey, let's go on the age.
- 39:47Speaker 10: So Steve, you're the oldest, right, So you're about to
- 39:50Speaker 10: be sixty nine on.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Saturday, So a high body count for you. I'm thinking
- 39:56Speaker 5: thirty five.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I was money.
- 40:00Speaker 9: I was gonna say twenty. But yeah, either one of
- 40:04Speaker 9: those numbers, those are high or those are low. No,
- 40:08Speaker 9: that's yeah, that's high to us.
- 40:09Speaker 1: He's five is high to me. Yeah, he keep drinking
- 40:13Speaker 1: twenty coffee.
- 40:14Speaker 13: Come and y'all talking about when we was in our twenties.
- 40:18Speaker 13: What did y'all talking about?
- 40:19Speaker 2: Yo?

- 40:24Speaker 10: I say what twenty eight?
- 40:26Speaker 7: Hold now the second and stupidest.
- 40:31Speaker 5: Okay, so twenty eight, twenty eight.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna go higher.
- 40:35Speaker 9: For Tommy, I'm gonna say about thirty five to forty,
- 40:39Speaker 9: and Junior.
- 40:39Speaker 5: I'm gonna say twenty five.
- 40:41Speaker 9: I'm gonna say twelve, twelve for Junior. Twelve twell, uh huh,
- 40:47Speaker 9: twelve talking about.

- 41:40Speaker 7: Ready?
- 41:40Speaker 11: Here we all right?
- 41:41Speaker 1: The other day, remember this, you mentioned it earlier.
- 41:44Speaker 9: The other day a caller left a message and called
- 41:46Speaker 9: us hypocrites. Well, here a caller named Ken left a
- 41:50Speaker 9: message to respond to that caller.
- 41:53Speaker 7: Check it out.
- 41:54Speaker 16: Hey, Steve, this is Ken again out as a caller,
- 41:57Speaker 16: And I want to double down on what I said
- 41:59Speaker 16: when I got called and said y'all was hypocristcause y'all
- 42:02Speaker 16: be talking about one thing, but you be doing another
- 42:04Speaker 16: thing doing today. Hey, Like I said, Jesus said he
- 42:07Speaker 16: can come to condemn the world, but he same that
- 42:09Speaker 16: the world through him might be saved. The biggest problem
- 42:12Speaker 16: we have today's too many people that say they were
- 42:16Speaker 16: just lost the other days, but they save and now
- 42:18Speaker 16: they're judging other boats. Man, keep on doing what you're doing. See,
- 42:22Speaker 16: God is gonna judge you not men. Don't worry about
- 42:26Speaker 16: what they say.
- 42:27Speaker 3: You keep on doing what you're doing, man.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Because you're changing lives.
- 42:30Speaker 16: Keep on changing lives.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Y'all show us changing lives.
- 42:33Speaker 16: And the person that's pointing fingers, he ain't changing nobody.
- 42:37Speaker 16: He's the one who getting people to turn away from God.
- 42:40Speaker 1: So keep on doing what you're doing.
- 42:42Speaker 16: Keep on doing what you're doing, man, and people going
- 42:44Speaker 16: come to Jesus. So that happens after prayer and God,
- 42:48Speaker 16: like you said before, don't be ashamed of pray because
- 42:51Speaker 16: prayer changes people.
- 42:53Speaker 8: Pray for that young man's Yeah, I'm not gonna pray.
- 42:58Speaker 1: For him though, See there you go.
- 43:02Speaker 8: Because I don't want to be hipocritical according here, so
- 43:08Speaker 8: I'm not praying for him, I promise you, Dad, Right, Dad,
- 43:12Speaker 8: you feel how you want to feel about me. Once
- 43:16Speaker 8: you tell me you don't like me, you forget being
- 43:18Speaker 8: on my prayer list.
- 43:22Speaker 1: He should be at the top, shouldn't.
- 43:27Speaker 5: You take the high road on that.
- 43:31Speaker 7: Down took the high road.
- 43:32Speaker 8: But I'm not praying for you, Ken.
- 43:37Speaker 1: We're praying for him, Ken. We are thank you for
- 43:40Speaker 1: deal with you.
- 43:41Speaker 7: I do not have time for them people.

- 44:09Speaker 17: Oh my god, I've used the rubber band around my
- 44:13Speaker 17: arm every time I said a cuss word.
- 44:15Speaker 3: You know.
- 44:15Speaker 17: I had one of my supervisors say, Lane, it's just words,
- 44:18Speaker 17: and I said, well, not how I use them, they're

- 45:51Speaker 7: I was proud of myself.
- 45:53Speaker 1: It was on the tip though, right there, on the
- 45:55Speaker 1: tip of your tongue.
- 45:57Speaker 9: Yeah all right, all right, well, thank you, uh huh.

- 47:19Speaker 14: Yes, sir, this is one.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Okay, I need to actually file a lawsuit on y'all,
- 47:24Speaker 3: and I'm actually calling you first to let you know
- 47:27Speaker 3: that I'm getting ready to file a lawsuit on the
- 47:29Speaker 3: whole grocery store. Uh for what did happened to me? Sir? Tom?
- 47:33Speaker 14: Let me let me get hold on a second, sir,

- 47:37Speaker 6: Let me let me what what did you say?
- 47:39Speaker 8: Your name was?
- 47:39Speaker 3: My name is Evans. Evans is my name?
- 47:43Speaker 14: So Evans is your last name? Let me let me
- 47:45Speaker 14: write this down.
- 47:46Speaker 3: And you came.
- 47:47Speaker 13: Into my store?
- 47:48Speaker 14: Did you have an accident in my store or something?
- 47:50Speaker 14: I'm not exactly sure what you're calling about.
- 47:52Speaker 3: I ain't had no accident. What happened was, I came
- 47:55Speaker 3: in there yesterday and I bought a bunch of grocers
- 47:58Speaker 3: that I bought a card net eggs right now. When
- 48:01Speaker 3: I got home, I was chicken to make sure the
- 48:04Speaker 3: eggs didn't didn't break on the way home. When I
- 48:06Speaker 3: got home, it was a baby chick inside the egg caught. Man,
- 48:11Speaker 3: one of the eggs had it had hatch, and got
- 48:14Speaker 3: my kids traumatized. Now they don't even want to eat
- 48:16Speaker 3: breakfast or nothing around here because there's a baby chick
- 48:19Speaker 3: play inside caught the eggs. That don't make no sense.
- 48:22Speaker 14: Man, I don't mean to let me, so you tell
- 48:27Speaker 14: me it was a chicken, a baby chicken, actual chicken,
- 48:30Speaker 14: and a.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Baby chick inside the caught in the eggs. Man, you
- 48:35Speaker 3: got my kids traumatized. Man, don't nobody want nothing? You
- 48:38Speaker 3: got eggs. If you're just feel it, don't go around
- 48:40Speaker 3: here to curse.
- 48:40Speaker 14: If you're just calmed down for one second, Listen.
- 48:44Speaker 3: What I told y'all. Put that chicken down in there.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Put it down. It might have raze.
- 48:50Speaker 6: Say what, I don't even think that that's possible.
- 48:53Speaker 14: First, of all, if you had any idea how this
- 48:56Speaker 14: thing comes from the farm to the.
- 48:57Speaker 6: Store, it is they go over these eggs a.
- 49:01Speaker 14: Countless some of the times, and the tempest and the
- 49:04Speaker 14: phrase that first of all wouldn't even allow.
- 49:06Speaker 15: For a chickens to be alive if you had a baby.
- 49:09Speaker 3: I don't know I did this one. I don't know
- 49:13Speaker 3: how this one got tasked the system, okay, But what
- 49:16Speaker 3: I do know is we got a baby chick over
- 49:19Speaker 3: here running around because they'll store ain't doing what you'rell
- 49:23Speaker 3: supposed to do. Man, and I got it, and now
- 49:25Speaker 3: my kids are traumatized.
- 49:26Speaker 15: Behind this When did you say you in here?
- 49:28Speaker 3: So I was in there yesterday. I bought the eggs yesterday, man,
- 49:33Speaker 3: down here at amstring, Yes, I bought them, I said,
- 49:36Speaker 3: the grocery store. I sure did. Okay, let's do this.
- 49:40Speaker 14: Why don't you bring me eggs into me.
- 49:42Speaker 6: And the chick?
- 49:43Speaker 3: So now you want me to transport a baby chick
- 49:47Speaker 3: right to the grocery store. All, Look, we already traumatized
- 49:51Speaker 3: over here, already behind this dog on baby chick.
- 49:53Speaker 14: Man, I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to
- 49:57Speaker 14: pull here, but I just don't I don't think that.
- 50:01Speaker 15: First of all, any anyone.
- 50:03Speaker 14: Would common sense will tell you that that's not possible.
- 50:05Speaker 14: First of all, you can't have a baby chick living
- 50:08Speaker 14: in a in a dozen eggs. There is no possible
- 50:11Speaker 14: way that if the temperature and my freezers are right
- 50:15Speaker 14: above freezing, there's no chickens or fragile creature in the
- 50:19Speaker 14: first place. You can't have a little bird that is
- 50:21Speaker 14: not going to survive the transport from the farm to
- 50:25Speaker 14: the factory to my store.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Then I'm not kidding. Then hey, hey, hey, I'm not
- 50:31Speaker 3: gonna go back and forth, but you buy.
- 50:35Speaker 14: If you want to bring me a dozen eggs, bring
- 50:37Speaker 14: the dozen eggs in. If you can catch a chick,
- 50:40Speaker 14: catch a chick.
- 50:40Speaker 3: Hey man, you're you're supposed to be the miniger. You're
- 50:43Speaker 3: not supposed to talk to me like that.
- 50:44Speaker 15: So I mean to all tell you as politely as
- 50:47Speaker 15: possible if you want to bring in the leven eggs
- 50:50Speaker 15: and a chick, I don't gladly with front of your money.
- 50:53Speaker 15: Give you another car and egs whatever you want to do,
- 50:55Speaker 15: but I'll not tell you what.
- 50:56Speaker 3: I'm not all a lawsuit because y'all in trauma. Me
- 51:00Speaker 3: and my kids sir.
- 51:02Speaker 14: Listen, all right, let's just bring this time a lawsuit, sir,
- 51:06Speaker 14: over a dozen eggs, old one.
- 51:10Speaker 3: A dozen eggs that got a baby chick in it. Man,
- 51:14Speaker 3: let me give your.
- 51:15Speaker 14: Phone number as some information, and I'll talk to my
- 51:17Speaker 14: manager and we will figure this thing out for you,
- 51:20Speaker 14: because I just I.
- 51:21Speaker 6: Just don't believe that this would be possible.
- 51:24Speaker 15: I just I don't understand how you would have a chicken.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Let just leave them over there, don't touch the chicken.
- 51:32Speaker 14: I just don't believe that this could possibly be happy.
- 51:35Speaker 14: So this is it's unbelievable me to even get this phone, sir.
- 51:39Speaker 3: I don't have time to go back and forth with
- 51:41Speaker 3: you about how something happened. All I know is it
- 51:45Speaker 3: may be it's a fluke accident, okay, but it happened.
- 51:48Speaker 3: My kids are over here playing with a baby chick,
- 51:52Speaker 3: and I'm traumatized. I don't even want to ever have
- 51:54Speaker 3: preck but up again. And I'm over to make So
- 51:57Speaker 3: I filed a lawsuit on your your.
- 52:00Speaker 15: Show me because I don't decided anything to do with me.
- 52:04Speaker 15: I didn't do anything, uh.
- 52:06Speaker 14: Except come into rud today. Do you understand what I'm saying?
- 52:09Speaker 15: If you want to found lost.
- 52:10Speaker 3: In God, I don't file a lawsuit. I'm throwing Rose
- 52:13Speaker 3: to own the grocery store, and I'm filing a lawsuit
- 52:15Speaker 3: on the manager Warren. Which is your for giving me
- 52:19Speaker 3: a hard time about what I'm telling you don't happen.
- 52:22Speaker 15: You ain't even got a hard time out of me,
- 52:24Speaker 15: like you understand what I'm saying, you are a hard
- 52:26Speaker 15: time comes down here. When I'm saying, I'm bringing the
- 52:28Speaker 15: bag down here, and I'm bringing that baby chick back
- 52:32Speaker 15: down there too. I'm bringing all of it. Well, please,
- 52:35Speaker 15: because i'd like to see it about how much did
- 52:37Speaker 15: you pay for those days?
- 52:38Speaker 3: I paid by two out? It ain't a boy how
- 52:40Speaker 3: much I'm paid for the egg. It's what you have
- 52:42Speaker 3: trauma time? Oh yeah, because I don't give you just
- 52:44Speaker 3: much back of that.
- 52:45Speaker 15: When you do you understand what I was, I don't
- 52:48Speaker 15: give it proms. I'm cussing out here in lines, begentlemate,
- 52:51Speaker 15: proop of offlinetention and not something drop some telephone talking
- 52:55Speaker 15: about some chicken and a grabbing egg.

- 56:46Speaker 7: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter.
- 56:50Speaker 9: Thank you nephew subject. I know what I saw, Dear
- 56:54Speaker 9: Stephen Shirley. My husband gaslights me whenever he is in trouble.
- 56:59Speaker 9: I have caught him talking to a woman on his phone,
- 57:01Speaker 9: and I saw his car was parked close to his
- 57:04Speaker 9: ex girlfriend's house, but not in front of it. When
- 57:07Speaker 9: he was on the phone with a woman. He said
- 57:09Speaker 9: he was trying to calm the woman down because his
- 57:12Speaker 9: brother broke up with her. I heard him tell the
- 57:14Speaker 9: woman that she spoiled and it's the sex that got
- 57:17Speaker 9: her so hooked. Why would he tell his brother's ex
- 57:20Speaker 9: girl that he was clearly talking about them having sex
- 57:24Speaker 9: and her falling for him. He denied everything and deleted
- 57:28Speaker 9: her info from his phone so I could not call her.
- 57:31Speaker 9: His brother even lied for him. Then there's a time
- 57:34Speaker 9: when his car was parked by his ex's house. He
- 57:37Speaker 9: said that there's a bar and a convenience store by
- 57:40Speaker 9: his ex'es house, so I can assume that he was
- 57:44Speaker 9: visiting her, but he wasn't. I'm no fool, But he
- 57:48Speaker 9: continues to treat me like I am stupid. The final
- 57:51Speaker 9: straw was when I walked in on him with his
- 57:54Speaker 9: pants down, his knees to his knees, with his phone
- 57:58Speaker 9: in his hand. I know for a fact he was
- 58:01Speaker 9: taking pictures of his manhood to send to a woman.
- 58:04Speaker 9: But he said he had a reaction to laundry detergent
- 58:07Speaker 9: and he was itching down there, so he used, I
- 58:11Speaker 9: knew you were going to high five this one, so
- 58:13Speaker 9: he used the camera on his phone to see if
- 58:17Speaker 9: maybe some ants were to see maybe if some ants
- 58:30Speaker 9: were down there. I just rolled my eyes and walked out.
- 58:33Speaker 9: The next day I saw four pictures he'd taken with
- 58:37Speaker 9: his manhood in his hand.
- 58:39Speaker 1: I know what I saw, and I was right from
- 58:42Speaker 1: the jump.
- 58:43Speaker 9: He keeps telling me that I want him to be
- 58:45Speaker 9: the bad guy, so I come up with stories in
- 58:48Speaker 9: my head and believe them. Really now, he said, I
- 58:53Speaker 9: want him to be a cheater. I want him to
- 58:56Speaker 9: be a cheater, but he's not. I am tired of
- 58:58Speaker 9: his games. How do I get my husband to be
- 59:02Speaker 9: honest with me? Face exists? I mean, he's not going
- 59:06Speaker 9: to be honest with you.
- 59:07Speaker 1: He's just not.
- 59:08Speaker 9: He's had several opportunities. You cited them in the letter
- 59:12Speaker 9: several opportunities to come clean and tell you the truth,
- 59:15Speaker 9: but he just won't do it. He had a lie
- 59:18Speaker 9: for every single situation you caught him in. Some men
- 59:21Speaker 9: just lie just because they can. You know, lying works
- 59:25Speaker 9: for them because whoever they're lying to, their wives or
- 59:28Speaker 9: partners or whatever, believe what they tell them. Other men
- 59:32Speaker 9: lie because they can't take a woman's fury when she
- 59:36Speaker 9: catches him or even suspects him. They say, we can't
- 59:40Speaker 9: handle the truth, but they can't handle our reaction to
- 59:43Speaker 9: the truth.
- 59:44Speaker 1: That's all it is. We still want to hear it.
- 59:46Speaker 9: They want to do whatever they want, then come back
- 59:49Speaker 9: and lie to us and our faces like we're stupid.
- 59:51Speaker 9: They don't know whether we can handle the truth or not.
- 59:54Speaker 9: Why don't they know that? Because they don't tell us
- 59:56Speaker 9: the truth.
- 59:57Speaker 1: They lie.
- 59:58Speaker 9: They're big and bad enough to cheat, but you know,
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: too scared to admit it when they get caught red
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: handed and.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: We know they're lying, that's the thing, they know it.
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: Most women that I know hate liars. We're not stupid.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: We know what we saw just like you know what
- 1:00:18Speaker 9: you saw, and we can put two and two together
- 1:00:21Speaker 9: rather quickly. But for some reason, men don't. They don't
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: believe it when we tell them we want the truth,
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: the truth matters. They just keep trying us until we explode.
- 1:00:32Speaker 9: Then we explode, they call us crazy. You see how
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: this works? Do what sound bitter?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: Do I sound patty?
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Right now?
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I feel good though, I feel good about it.
- 1:00:45Speaker 5: I'm not mad.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: I feel good about it. At least I told you
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: the truth.
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: I'm not high five in your husband for lying. This
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: may not have answered your question. I don't know, but
- 1:00:55Speaker 9: I sure feel better.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: That's all I can say.
- 1:00:58Speaker 11: I feel good.
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: See, surely, Lord have mercy. I was looking at you,
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: I was looking at you on this zoom. I was going,
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: what's wrong? Whatever? You ain't trying to help nobody? They
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: all lie. They lie when they know Because we want
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: the truth, we'll take the truth. No you can't, we can. No,
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: you can't.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: No, you can't.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: Now, see, I gotta change my whole answer now, cause
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: I was gonna try to help the lady. But no, no,
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: how do I get my husband to be honest with me? See, ladies,
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: well let's take a trip down the dog side. What
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: y'all need to be asking yourselves is not how can
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: I get my husband to be honest with me. You
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: need to ask yourself, is why would he be honest
- 1:01:46Speaker 8: with me? There has to be a reason, you know, ladies,
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: men don't do nothing without a reason. There has to
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: be a reason. So now I'm gonna walk you through
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: this letter filled with reasons. Reasons. Now, the latter is,
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: I know what I saw. The husband gaslights me whenever
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: he's in trouble. I caught him talking to a woman
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: on his phone. I saw his car was parked to
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: his girlfriend's house, but not in front of it. Now,
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: when he was on the phone with a woman, he
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: said he was trying to calm the woman down because
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: his brother broke up with him. I heard him tell
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: the woman she spoiled and it's the sex that got
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: her so hooked. Why would he tell his brother's ex
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: girl that? Because he was trying to keep them together.
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: His brother confided in him that she just tripping and
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: that you know, they was going through some stuff. And
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: he said, man, I be handling my business real well
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: with it, and that that's all it is right now, man,
- 1:02:55Speaker 8: and I think we just more in a sexual relationship
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: than anything else.
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: But she won't all right, Hang on, Steve. Hang on,
- 1:03:03Speaker 9: we'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:03:06Speaker 9: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today strawberry letter, subject
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: I Know what I saw Right after this you're listening
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: Hey, it's Carla Ferroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.
- 1:03:25Speaker 10: Are you ready for a mop and bucket clean in
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: half the time? Make the swap to Swiffer Power Mop.
- 1:03:32Speaker 10: The all in one cleaning hero has a built in
- 1:03:34Speaker 10: solution that breaks down dirt and grime like magic. With
- 1:03:38Speaker 10: hundreds of scrubbing strips on the pad, it absorbs sticky
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: messes with ease. Plus, it'll leave your home smelling great
- 1:03:46Speaker 10: for hours after cleaning. Get yours today and mop smarter
- 1:03:50Speaker 10: with the Swiffer Power Mop.
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: The subject is I Know what I saw.
- 1:03:58Speaker 8: You know this is a letter about Shirley says a
- 1:04:01Speaker 8: man lies because we can't tell the truth. We just
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: lie all the time. You know that women won't the truth,
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: And why can't y'all just be honest with us? It's
- 1:04:10Speaker 8: the question at the end of this thing, why can't
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: my husband just be honest with me. My question to
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: what women need to be asking is why would he
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: be honest? Because see, and then Shirley says, because we
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: want the truth. And then you say that men always say, well,
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: you can't handle the truth, and you can't.
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: You can't. And Shirley's also right about we don't like
- 1:04:38Speaker 7: you all's reaction.
- 1:04:40Speaker 8: And the reason we say you can't handle the truth
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: is because your reaction is not gonna be one that
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: we want or one that will lead to a healthy
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: conversation exchange. It's gonna be filled with rage. Name call
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: it hot throwing all of that. Now, my clothes in
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: the driveway on fire. You the key to car all
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: this year? See what the car got to do with?
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: She burned my clothes up.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: I'm gonna buy something else and go over there anyway,
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: So let's go over this letter.
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: She heard her man on the phone talking to a
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: woman and trying to calm her down because his brother
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: broke up with it. I heard him tell the woman
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: he spoiled, she spoiled and the sex got her hook.
- 1:05:32Speaker 8: Why would he tell his brother's ex that he was
- 1:05:35Speaker 8: clearly talking about them having sex and falling for her,
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: Then he would have said, you know, you know why,
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: you know what you hooked on girl? You know how
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: I'll put it on you. But you didn't hear that.
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: I think he might have could have been trying to
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: save the brother's relationship, so that one is a little shaky.
- 1:05:51Speaker 8: That one was a little shaky. He denied everything and
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: deleted her from his phone so I could not call her. Yeah,
- 1:06:00Speaker 8: I can see where you're going. Why don't I be
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: able to call her brother's wife because his brother's girlfriend
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: that they broke up. Because he don't want you doubling
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: back trying to undo nothing.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: He said, it's probably why he deleted the number. You
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: see that.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: I think it was brilliant of him to delete that number, though,
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: absolutely brilliant, because guess what you was gonna do, just
- 1:06:24Speaker 8: what he thought you was gonna try to call her.
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: The question you need to know is why he won't
- 1:06:30Speaker 8: be honest all right now? The next move you said
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: was that was the time his car was parked by
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: his exit house. He said that there's a bar in
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: a convenience store by his exits house, so I can
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: assume that he was visiting her, but he wasn't. I'm
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: no fooling he continues to treat me like I'm stupid. Okay,
- 1:06:54Speaker 8: now that was another brilliant move. He parked his car
- 1:07:00Speaker 8: by her house, like in between the convenience store and
- 1:07:04Speaker 8: the bar, but not at her house. So when you
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: drove by saw his car. His lie was, I was
- 1:07:13Speaker 8: in the bar, but there was no parking and that's
- 1:07:17Speaker 8: why I parked. And I've been going to that bar
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: when I was dating hum. Another excellent lie. And what
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: you don't have that he was in the house high
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: five dogs. Now I'm gonna tell you where he messed
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: up at. He was doing good. These are two good
- 1:07:35Speaker 8: lies that he told. These were actually pretty well thought out.
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: But here's the one. Then she said when she called
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: his brother that the brother even lied for him. Okay,
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: brothers stick together, so that's her not okay anyway, I'm
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: sound of discombotulated, but I'm trying to find what I'm saying. Okay,
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: here we go. The final straw was when I walked
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: in on him with his pants down to his knees.
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: This food right here, man, you ain't locking things with you?
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: And then where you standing up with your pants around
- 1:08:07Speaker 8: your knees like you five you going to the bathroom,
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: got his pants down round his knees with his phone
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: in his hand. I know for a fact he was
- 1:08:19Speaker 8: taking a picture of his manhood to see into a woman.
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: But he said that here we go. He had a
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: reaction to the laundry detergent and he was itching down there.
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: That was an excellent line here where he messed up
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: at This is why I was shame of him.
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: So he used a camera on his phone to see
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: if maybe some ants was down there or by you
- 1:08:49Speaker 7: was doing all right with the laundry detergent.
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: What you talking about?
- 1:08:52Speaker 7: You got some phones to see if there was some
- 1:08:55Speaker 7: ants down there?
- 1:08:56Speaker 8: Some ants get down inside your draws, don't see now,
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: that's why you done took a line to Now you
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: deserve to be busted now I'm on her side. Sit,
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: stupid lie. You told, old dumb ass lie you did
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: good with the laundry detergent. You get your camera to
- 1:09:15Speaker 8: see if it's some ants down now. Boy, I just
- 1:09:19Speaker 8: rolled my eyes and walked out. The Next day I
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: saw four pictures he taken with his manhood in his hand. Boy,
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: he must have really been trying to zoom in on
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: them hands. I know what I saw, and I was
- 1:09:31Speaker 8: right from the jump. He keep telling me that I
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: want him be the bad guy and cover up his
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: stories and come up with them stories in my head
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: till I believe them. He said he want. I want
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: him to be a cheat, and he's not. I'm tired
- 1:09:43Speaker 8: of his game. How do I get my husband to
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: be honest with me? I'm just gonna hear you right now, y'all.
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: Marriage is over, and it's over because of some ants
- 1:09:52Speaker 8: in his pants.
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: You ought to leave him just.
- 1:09:55Speaker 3: For that, all right?

- 1:11:15Speaker 12: Tomlin has stepped down as the head coach of the
- 1:11:18Speaker 12: Pittsburgh Still this man nineteen years great Johnny Super Bowl coaches,
- 1:11:24Speaker 12: one of the one of the great coaches.
- 1:11:26Speaker 11: Man.
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: Now here's the thing.
- 1:11:28Speaker 11: He didn't get fired, He just stepped down.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: He comes back.
- 1:11:32Speaker 12: It was Pittsburgh still own his coaching rights. He can't
- 1:11:36Speaker 12: sign with nobody else. You just have to go back
- 1:11:38Speaker 12: to Pittsburgh. But they're gonna trade it. You know, they're
- 1:11:40Speaker 12: trading if he wants to coach again, they're trading it.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: Bruh, bruh, bruh. That ain't how this work. This man
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: has been such a stellar part of the Pittsburgh community.
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: Him and the owner got together, allowed him to come
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: in and resign. Act like they gonna keep the rights
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: because they can't say you fired Mike tom That just
- 1:12:01Speaker 8: that he's been too good to the organization. So he
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: owned the rights. He will be coaching somewhere else. It
- 1:12:07Speaker 8: will not be back in Pittsburgh.
- 1:12:09Speaker 11: No, he want to be back in Pittsburgh.
- 1:12:12Speaker 8: I'm junior. It's not true the way they setting it up.
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: It's not true that this is all agreed upon. He
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: didn't go in there and surprise to own it and
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: quick they talked about it.
- 1:12:23Speaker 11: Yeah, I'm sure what I'm saying. If he comes back
- 1:12:26Speaker 11: to coaching, they'll trade them.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: They'll get something for him.
- 1:12:29Speaker 12: They'll trade like just like they traded Sean Payton to Denver.
- 1:12:32Speaker 12: They came back, they traded Sean Payton. John Gruton got
- 1:12:35Speaker 12: traded to the Bakers.
- 1:12:36Speaker 11: Raders, which was Oakland at the time.
- 1:12:38Speaker 12: They gonna do the same thing with Mike Tomlan. That's
- 1:12:40Speaker 12: all I'm saying. Like that, get some pics traded.
- 1:12:46Speaker 7: Yeah, then you traded. Bun stand.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Why you've got your.
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: Photoc I con I heard what you said. Just go ahead.
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: That ain't what you said in the beginning, So just
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: go ahead.
- 1:13:02Speaker 12: The Miami, Miami and Indiana are playing on the National
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: Championship on Monday night.
- 1:13:06Speaker 11: How are y'all feel about this game? Tommy, I know
- 1:13:08Speaker 11: you got to go to Indiana.
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: Yeah, you gotta go with Indiana. Yeah, gotta go with Indiana.
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: Why tell him, Tommy? What two things? Miami beat? Miami
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: beat Texaana? That would be what taxa? Yeah, that's why.
- 1:13:26Speaker 13: Secondly, Indiana is where capital starts. Indiana I was talking
- 1:13:31Speaker 13: about I was talking about Miami beating Texas. Okay, I
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: didn't know that part. I was just talking about Miami beat.
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: Don't nobody I know what you about either one of them.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Reason's wrong with you?
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: Thank you?
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: Ju.
- 1:13:57Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, women on
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: social media needs advice about her baby daddy. She says
- 1:14:02Speaker 9: he only wants to be a dad for the clout.
- 1:14:04Speaker 9: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this is from
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: Tanisha and Steve Harvey FM. Tanisha says, my daughter is
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: three years old and her father was Basically, he's not
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: been around since I was pregnant, leaving me to handle
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: everything on my own from the very beginning. He will
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: occasionally make video calls, but it feels like it's more
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: about posting screenshots on social media to look like a
- 1:14:35Speaker 9: good dad than actually connecting with her. He doesn't help financially,
- 1:14:39Speaker 9: doesn't check in on her needs, and barely pays attention
- 1:14:42Speaker 9: to her during those calls. Anyway, it hurts to watch
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: him get credit for being present when I'm the one
- 1:14:48Speaker 9: doing all the real work, and I worry about what
- 1:14:51Speaker 9: this means for her as she gets older. Do I
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: keep letting this go on for the sake of her
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: quote having a dad? Or should I set by injuries
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: now to protect her from disappointment later.
- 1:15:03Speaker 8: Wow, why don't you try to have a conversation with
- 1:15:07Speaker 8: the man and just inform him listen, you don't have
- 1:15:10Speaker 8: to have a relationship with me. But I think it's
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: really important that you have a relationship with your daughter
- 1:15:16Speaker 8: because she needs to see an example of what a
- 1:15:19Speaker 8: real man's love.
- 1:15:20Speaker 7: Can feel like.
- 1:15:21Speaker 8: And I want you to be more present and more
- 1:15:24Speaker 8: active as opposed to just posting to give people the
- 1:15:28Speaker 8: impression that you are a great father and you make
- 1:15:31Speaker 8: no financial contribution. Number one, Number one. If that's his child,
- 1:15:37Speaker 8: why is he not making any financial contribution. That that's unacceptable.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's you. Don't you don't.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: You don't get to do that, man, Yes, you don't
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: get to make these babies and just walk off with nothing. Now,
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: if you're gonna be a trifling man and you're gonna
- 1:15:55Speaker 8: be a dad, you're gonna at least get this check
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: over here to this house.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Hello, that part regardless if you have a yeah, a relationship.
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: With the mom or not, but you know, a man
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: like that, it might even be it might help if
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: you force him to pay child support, take him a court,
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: it might help because if he's being trifling without making
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: let's get some money coming out of his pocket and
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: that might change some things. I'm sorry you're going through this, sister,
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: but he putting it on social media like he a
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: good dad. Man. Come on, but don't, but don't don't
- 1:16:31Speaker 8: talk down about the father to the daughter. That serves
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: no purpose.
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: It does not, you're so right about that serves no purpose,
- 1:16:40Speaker 9: all right, Steve, we have time for another one. This
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: is LJ on Steve Harvey FM. LJ says, my girlfriend
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: and I have been together for about two years, and
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: overall it's been great, but she makes her living through
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: social media and has made it clear that she never
- 1:16:56Speaker 9: intends to make our relationship visible online. She says posting
- 1:17:00Speaker 9: about us could hurt her engagement and that people, especially men,
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: are less likely to interact if they know she's taken.
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: Because of that, she doesn't post about me, or if
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: I want to share a photo of us, I have
- 1:17:13Speaker 9: to run it by her first. I don't want to
- 1:17:16Speaker 9: control her or interfere with her job, but it makes
- 1:17:19Speaker 9: me feel like I'm being hidden or treated like something inconvenient.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: I hope we might get married one day, but it's
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: hard to see how that's going to work. Am I
- 1:17:29Speaker 9: overthinking this? Or is it fair to want to be
- 1:17:32Speaker 9: acknowledged instead of feeling like a secret?
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Wow?
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: Well, normally this is something a woman would type, oh yeah, exactly,
- 1:17:41Speaker 8: but in this case it's being reversed, which is very
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: valid and real. You're very valid and real and feeling
- 1:17:47Speaker 8: what you feel it. Yeah, but now you're going to
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: marry her? When that's gonna happen though, And if she
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: don't want to post you as the boy for me,
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: you sure ain't f gonna get posted as the hook.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Nope. You a side piece, thank you, thank you.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: You don't know that.
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: And see this engagement that she's concerned about about the
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: male view men. Yeah, yeah, See that's another thing to
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: be concerned about, because she's more concerned about their engagement
- 1:18:29Speaker 8: with her on social media than your engagement with her
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: in real life. So that engagement with them on social
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: media probably will prohibit you from having an engagement with
- 1:18:41Speaker 8: her in real life.
- 1:18:44Speaker 7: You are a side piece.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Great advice, Steve. Thank you. We'll have more of the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:54Speaker 9: Yeah, gravy, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:01Speaker 9: Well you want to let's talk about it. The Moon's
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: first luxury hotel. That's right, I said, the Moon. The
- 1:19:09Speaker 9: startup company gru Space groove Space has officially opened reservations
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: for a luxury hotel on the Moon, accepting quote early
- 1:19:21Speaker 9: bird deposits of one million dollars Steve. The company plans
- 1:19:26Speaker 9: to launch its first inflatable habitat for guests by twenty
- 1:19:29Speaker 9: thirty two, eventually upgrading to a more eventually upgrading to
- 1:19:35Speaker 9: a more permanent structure built out of quote moon bricks
- 1:19:39Speaker 9: made from lunar soil. While the first test missions are
- 1:19:43Speaker 9: scheduled to blast off in just three years, the company's
- 1:19:46Speaker 9: goal is to turn the Moon into a legitimate tourist destination. Now,
- 1:19:52Speaker 9: if they pull this off, the future of space won't
- 1:19:55Speaker 9: just be about the ride there, but also having a
- 1:19:57Speaker 9: fancy place to stay while you, you know, once you arrived.
- 1:20:01Speaker 9: So here's the question. Obviously, would you guys go and
- 1:20:06Speaker 9: or vacation on the moon? Steve, you're the only one
- 1:20:09Speaker 9: that can. Yeah, make that million dollars.
- 1:20:13Speaker 7: Take your what to the mall d's and enjoy yourself
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: floating around with a big helmet home. Why would I
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: go vac hit the moon? I can see the moon.
- 1:20:25Speaker 12: I like to play stay at places I can't see.
- 1:20:30Speaker 12: I look up and see where I'm going.
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: Now, I ain't got.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: All right?
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: Got them four seasons on Marriott?
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: What is that coming up next? We'll play around it?
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Would you rather? Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:51Speaker 10: Hey, it's Carla Farroll. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.

- 1:21:59Speaker 8: Hang on.
- 1:22:05Speaker 9: Too much further, All right, would you guys rather go
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: the next three weeks without watching football?
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: Or the next three weeks without eating any meat? Which
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: one guys?
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: Football over that meat?

- 1:22:33Speaker 9: Would you rather build a snowman or would you rather
- 1:22:36Speaker 9: make a snow angel?
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: I don't want to do nothing in the snow until
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: you're gonna get sick. We can't do nothing like that.
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: Let's try out what Junior but asking us no questions
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: with just answer them.

- 1:25:31Speaker 9: the ladies of Alpha Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Yes, yes, Happy Tuesday.
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: What is that?
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: Yeah tune?
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: You have a question Christie and my daughter?
- 1:25:54Speaker 12: Oh yeah, that's right, all right, man, A couple of
- 1:26:01Speaker 12: days away from your birthday, NK, have you been reflecting
- 1:26:03Speaker 12: about something?
- 1:26:04Speaker 11: Have you been thinking about this thing?
- 1:26:06Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:26:07Speaker 3: No?
- 1:26:08Speaker 8: Not actually, man, haven't really. I'm I'm you know, I
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: live one day at a time. I don't get too
- 1:26:13Speaker 8: far ahead of myself. It'll be most like any other birthday, though,
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: I'll wake up and fill with gratitude because.
- 1:26:22Speaker 7: I made it.
- 1:26:23Speaker 8: It's a bit we're getting them to them. We aren't
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: the big numbers now though. Yeah, we're in the big
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: numbers now.
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: So like.
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: Like now, you know what's crazy? Man? The older you get.
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: And the longer you live, the more people you've known,
- 1:26:43Speaker 8: you see you see gone? Yes, man, I got four
- 1:26:52Speaker 8: let me see four, one two, I got five frat
- 1:26:57Speaker 8: brothers from nineteen six that ain't even here no more.
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: My line brother gone, dude I pledged with is gone.
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: It's crazy, man, and so you know, as much as
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: I miss him, I'm glad I'm still here.
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: I mean, man.
- 1:27:21Speaker 8: And you know, as we all know, because all of
- 1:27:24Speaker 8: us have suffered losses on this show. You can lose
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: some people that's so dear to you, man, so very
- 1:27:32Speaker 8: dear to you, and you can miss them dearly, but
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: you still have to be grateful that you still here.
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: And you know, it almost sounds like you know, and
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: you know, man, like you hear about somebody passing and
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: you feel remorse and grief and all like that, and
- 1:27:53Speaker 8: then there's a joy because I'm still here. It almost
- 1:28:01Speaker 8: sounds a little weird like man. But you know, I mean, man,
- 1:28:07Speaker 8: I'm just grateful that I remain healthy. I'm grateful that
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: He's given me a life of longevity. You know, I
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: wish that some of these people were still here, but
- 1:28:17Speaker 8: that was God's call. And you know, some of the
- 1:28:20Speaker 8: guys didn't take care of their selves. Some of the
- 1:28:22Speaker 8: guys ignored doctor's appointments. If I could say anything to
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: brothers listening to me, Man, go to the doctor, get
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: yourself checked out.
- 1:28:34Speaker 7: That old, that old, that old. I don't want to
- 1:28:37Speaker 7: know that that can cost you. Man.
- 1:28:40Speaker 8: That oh, I don't feel like getting probed and picked on.
- 1:28:44Speaker 8: And hey, man, that stuff can cost you, you know, man,
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: many times we've heard an ounce of prevention is worth
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: a pound of cure.
- 1:28:53Speaker 7: Go to the doctor.
- 1:28:54Speaker 8: I went to the doctor yesterday, man, I mean not yesterday,
- 1:28:57Speaker 8: but recently over the past week or so, past two weeks.
- 1:29:01Speaker 8: I went to the doctor and I was concerned about something,
- 1:29:06Speaker 8: and I didn't want to go because I've had this
- 1:29:08Speaker 8: concern before and resulted in surgery, and I was having
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: the same feeling again and I just didn't feel like
- 1:29:15Speaker 8: that surgery. So I was praying about it, praying about it,
- 1:29:19Speaker 8: worrying about it. I mean, I was worried about man.
- 1:29:22Speaker 8: I was concerned. So I said, mall let me go
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: on going down here. So I went to the doctor.
- 1:29:27Speaker 8: My doctor was out of town because it was over
- 1:29:29Speaker 8: the holidays. But the test I had to run and
- 1:29:32Speaker 8: he had competent people in there could do the test.
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: So we did the test and the nurse was asking
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: me some questions while we're doing the test. And the
- 1:29:41Speaker 8: results came back and what I thought was wrong wasn't
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: wrong at all. It was a version of it, but
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: a lot less. It didn't require surgery, and so I
- 1:29:52Speaker 8: had to take a pill. And man, I felt so
- 1:29:55Speaker 8: grateful being able to just take that pill man as
- 1:30:00Speaker 8: opposed to surgery. But had I not gone, the condition
- 1:30:05Speaker 8: would have worsened and worsened. And I've had a bigger
- 1:30:10Speaker 8: problem than the problem I had when I had to
- 1:30:12Speaker 8: get surgery. Brothers, you got to go to the doctor.
- 1:30:15Speaker 8: I know you don't like that prostate exam, but if
- 1:30:19Speaker 8: you go regular enough, they got ways around that too.
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: But you have got to go to the doctor. You
- 1:30:25Speaker 8: have got to get this prostate exam. Mantle that little
- 1:30:30Speaker 8: three to four seconds of uncomfortableness. I had one dude
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: talking about, Man, it's just like the longest three minutes
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: of my life.
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: I said, three minutes?
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: What?
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: No, what's happening down at your office? The prostate exam
- 1:30:48Speaker 8: is not a three minute things three to five seconds.
- 1:30:51Speaker 8: If it's three minutes, you could file some charges. You yeah, man,
- 1:30:57Speaker 8: something else happened. No, no, really, you get to the
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: file some charges. You need to go down there. He's
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: somebody getting a rest.
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: What you got.
- 1:31:08Speaker 7: I'm sorry, but you can't.
- 1:31:10Speaker 8: No really, but black dudes, man, we avoid the doctor,
- 1:31:16Speaker 8: that old macho stuff. Y'all, got to go to the doctor. Man,
- 1:31:21Speaker 8: You got to go to the doctor. Get your EKG.
- 1:31:24Speaker 8: You're feeling something going on with your heart, go to
- 1:31:26Speaker 8: your cardiologist. Go get a yearly, a physical exam. Get
- 1:31:31Speaker 8: yourself checked out, man, so you can stay here. I've
- 1:31:36Speaker 8: lost some friends simply be caused by the time they
- 1:31:40Speaker 8: found that it was too late. Don't let that happen
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: to you.
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:31:45Speaker 8: Go to the doctor so you can have as many
- 1:31:47Speaker 8: birthdays as you possibly can. Those are my clothing remarks.
- 1:31:51Speaker 8: Enjoy yourself today. Talk to God today. He would love
- 1:31:54Speaker 8: to have help him. He would if your prostaate exam
- 1:31:58Speaker 8: is three minutes long.
