- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in the stove. True good Steve to mother, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta use that turn you're going.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turnout turn you love, got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn turn the water the water go. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your fad, I shall well. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice. Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show partickling
- 2:13Speaker 1: me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio show feel
- 2:18Speaker 1: with nothing but joy and hope about it too. You know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's a great thing to be able to wake up
- 2:23Speaker 1: in the morning with peace in your heart and joy.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Peace and joy is is immeasurable. It has a value
- 2:31Speaker 1: attached to it, and I have no idea what it is.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It's invaluable. It is worth so much more than any
- 2:38Speaker 1: amount of money you can make. Peace and joy. I
- 2:43Speaker 1: have not always had that. I have not always been
- 2:47Speaker 1: a peaceful person or a person who lived his life
- 2:52Speaker 1: in a joy spirit. It took an arrival at this moment.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Some people arrive sooner than others. I wish I had
- 3:00Speaker 1: arrived at this point sooner, but I think it was
- 3:04Speaker 1: necessary for me to learn a few things too. That's
- 3:08Speaker 1: the amazing thing I've learned about life is that instead
- 3:12Speaker 1: of reflecting on your past incidences and calling them failures,
- 3:19Speaker 1: instead of focusing on the negative and calling them bad times,
- 3:25Speaker 1: I look at them now as experiences. I had to
- 3:29Speaker 1: have those experiences that were negative, that were good, positive, wrong,
- 3:35Speaker 1: even I had to have all those experiences to become
- 3:40Speaker 1: to shape who we are today. We all have to
- 3:45Speaker 1: have them. If you look back at all the negative
- 3:47Speaker 1: experiences you've had, all the things that you called failures,
- 3:52Speaker 1: all the businesses I started that went under, all of
- 3:56Speaker 1: the jobs I had that I was fired from, all
- 3:59Speaker 1: the shows that were canceled, all of the times I
- 4:03Speaker 1: thought I was gonna get something happened in my way
- 4:05Speaker 1: and turned out I didn't get it at all. When
- 4:07Speaker 1: you look at all of it, all of it, hopefully
- 4:12Speaker 1: along the way, what you have done as a person
- 4:14Speaker 1: is you've taken those negatives and those failures and you've
- 4:19Speaker 1: used them for what they actually are. They are experiences,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and they've now created in you an experienced person, and
- 4:29Speaker 1: you know that is worth something. That's then it becomes
- 4:34Speaker 1: a positive. But what too many people do is they
- 4:38Speaker 1: let the negative things that have happened in their life.
- 4:41Speaker 1: They allow the failures that have happened in them lives
- 4:44Speaker 1: never to manifest themselves as experiences. And you sit up
- 4:48Speaker 1: there and you dwell on it, and you dwell on
- 4:50Speaker 1: it until you have this woe is me attitude. Stop
- 4:54Speaker 1: looking at it like that, y'all. You go through things
- 4:58Speaker 1: in order to become the person that you are today.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you who you sometimes have to sit down
- 5:03Speaker 1: and talk to. Sometimes you are to sit down to
- 5:06Speaker 1: an inmate that really gets it, an inmate that says, man,
- 5:10Speaker 1: I've actually heard inmates say it to me and write
- 5:13Speaker 1: to me, and they've said things like, man, coming to prison,
- 5:17Speaker 1: save my life. Now, those of you have never gone,
- 5:20Speaker 1: how can he say a thing like that? But some men, no, Man,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I was so far out there that if I had
- 5:27Speaker 1: stayed out there, I wouldn't even be here today. This
- 5:29Speaker 1: actually allowed me to stop, spend some time with myself
- 5:32Speaker 1: and learn some things about me. Now does that happen
- 5:36Speaker 1: for everybody like that? Now? But here's a person who
- 5:39Speaker 1: was taking an experience that could be considered a failure
- 5:42Speaker 1: or a negative and turning it into a positive and
- 5:45Speaker 1: using it to enrich their lives. You can do it
- 5:48Speaker 1: no matter what your set of circumstances is. I recommend
- 5:51Speaker 1: to everybody that you try changing your outlook in order
- 5:55Speaker 1: to change your outcome. Everything that happens to you that's
- 5:58Speaker 1: negative or you consider failure their experiences. You've got to
- 6:02Speaker 1: go through these things in order to have the knowledge
- 6:04Speaker 1: that you have today. So I wish that I had
- 6:07Speaker 1: come to this arrival, that I may now this place
- 6:10Speaker 1: of peace and joy. But then guess what I would
- 6:13Speaker 1: not know what I know. I could not share some
- 6:16Speaker 1: of the things that I'm able to share if I
- 6:19Speaker 1: had not gone through some of them. And sometimes that's
- 6:22Speaker 1: the purpose of them, is to teach you a lesson
- 6:24Speaker 1: because you know, God has a plan for you, He
- 6:26Speaker 1: really really does. And eventually he can use you no
- 6:30Speaker 1: matter how old you are, and he can use you
- 6:32Speaker 1: no matter how young you are. If you just say, Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'm ready to hear your plan. I've tried mine, mine
- 6:39Speaker 1: ain't worked out. What's your plan for me? God? What
- 6:42Speaker 1: do you want me to do? That's why I say
- 6:45Speaker 1: every day Steve already got radio show, y'all. Because man,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I ain't see it coming. I didn't see that coming.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I ain't see this book coming. I ain't seen I
- 6:53Speaker 1: ain't seen it. Half of the amazing things that are
- 6:55Speaker 1: happened to me, I didn't plan them. I was sitting there, man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: skin God for some direction. And then I got smart
- 7:03Speaker 1: enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker. Now because faithful,
- 7:07Speaker 1: our works is there and it came. And I remind
- 7:10Speaker 1: you of this. God has given all of you a gift.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Every last one of you listening has a gift. God
- 7:16Speaker 1: has never created a soul that he did not provide
- 7:18Speaker 1: a gift to. God gives everyone a gift, and a
- 7:22Speaker 1: gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The richer gifts
- 7:28Speaker 1: are much more than that. Teachers are gifted people who
- 7:31Speaker 1: really have the gift of sharing information. That's a gift,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you know, and in that you can become great. You
- 7:40Speaker 1: know a lot of people people think that successful and
- 7:45Speaker 1: greatness is the same thing. Cornell West said it at
- 7:48Speaker 1: my daughter's graduation. He was a spokesperson. He said something
- 7:52Speaker 1: so pointed. He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness.
- 7:56Speaker 1: The two have nothing to do with each other. See
- 7:59Speaker 1: people determined success about money and fame and all this here,
- 8:03Speaker 1: but greatness. Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money.
- 8:07Speaker 1: It ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's
- 8:09Speaker 1: how you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant
- 8:13Speaker 1: you become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:17Speaker 1: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 1: little girls lives that you change, that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 1: in the hood. Who are you just one place of
- 8:25Speaker 1: hope to so many people and they come back. And
- 8:28Speaker 1: I used the example of Lou Danzler who passed away
- 8:31Speaker 1: in LA, who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club
- 8:34Speaker 1: out in LA. And he wasn't a rich man at all,
- 8:37Speaker 1: and if you walk by him, you wouldn't even know
- 8:39Speaker 1: who he was. But if you look at all the
- 8:41Speaker 1: people who have gone on to become politicians, who have
- 8:45Speaker 1: gone on to become CEO's, who have gone on to
- 8:47Speaker 1: become athletes, that have passed through this man's small building
- 8:51Speaker 1: in the hood in La, he was a great trust
- 8:56Speaker 1: me man prad changes things. I said all the time.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But when you see people come successful or great that
- 9:01Speaker 1: somebody praying somewhere may not even beat them. Maybe it's
- 9:05Speaker 1: day Mama. You know, I think of Tiger Woods and
- 9:07Speaker 1: all the greatness he's accomplished. You know, they always talk
- 9:10Speaker 1: about as farther than all this here, somebody somewhere praying
- 9:13Speaker 1: for Tiger Woods. I got cash money riding on that
- 9:18Speaker 1: Tiger Woods. Mama is a praying woman or something. My
- 9:20Speaker 1: mother was. She prayed me into this place because she
- 9:23Speaker 1: ushould call me all the time. Praying for your boy,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and prayer changes things. It really does. Try it today.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It can change you. It has changed millions of people.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Open up yourself to the greatness that's in you because
- 9:37Speaker 1: God is giving you a gift. Now the fact that
- 9:39Speaker 1: you ain't using it. Who fought you think that is?
- 9:42Speaker 1: I'm just telling you you got one, and if you
- 9:45Speaker 1: start praying about it, it'll manifest itself and you can
- 9:49Speaker 1: become one or two things, successful or great or both.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You can make the decision. Today morning show, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: man have your attention. Please. Uh it's Monday morning. It's
- 10:07Speaker 1: the beginning of a new week. But it's the same
- 10:09Speaker 1: damn thing up in here. Reeving to turn up this volume,
- 10:13Speaker 1: create this ignorance and be botty bout it. Dog going it,
- 10:19Speaker 1: Shirley Strawby. We let Steve we let Oh that's that
- 10:25Speaker 1: CHOI we let Steve Man. We live? That was fun.
- 10:38Speaker 1: That was fun. It's young people listening to this show going, uh,
- 10:43Speaker 1: we live, and they probably ain't even saying that no more.
- 10:49Speaker 1: They say still saying we live. I'm scared to use
- 10:55Speaker 1: modern day slang. I'm still going. I'm still doing you know,
- 10:59Speaker 1: what's happening for the playoff? You know that way? I know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: I know it's out of style and all my talk
- 11:06Speaker 1: is out of style. We let bla for rel what's happening?
- 11:12Speaker 1: We bought that life? What's going on? Cool? Junior? You
- 11:16Speaker 1: got one? I just gonna say, morning on my Tommy.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You got one? Lit light lit I'm living my bath life. Man. Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: now dude, this one still work turned up? Yeah, that
- 11:31Speaker 1: was still work. Come on, Steve, what it is? What
- 11:38Speaker 1: it is? Good? Good? Everybody? Cool? Man? My man? Slapping five?
- 11:49Speaker 1: You did that that? You may as well throw it
- 11:54Speaker 1: right on in their Still I still say right on.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I still say, hey, man. When I talk to my
- 12:01Speaker 1: older brother, it's it's it's like talking to Marvin gay S.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm talking to them, Hey, what's up? Drunk. What's hand
- 12:11Speaker 1: with you? Something? Man? Give me some of that skin, Man,
- 12:15Speaker 1: some skin that's five on the black hand, keeping like that.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It's all right man, right on. What's been going on
- 12:23Speaker 1: with your player? You still doing it? Ain't you? You know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: people ain't easy. But somebody ain't gonna do it. It It
- 12:28Speaker 1: mightn't be me. He don what's up? What's up? Timmy?
- 12:35Speaker 1: One of my little girls, what are the friends of
- 12:37Speaker 1: the house, said mister Timmy? You lit? I said, baby?
- 12:40Speaker 1: I said, baby, I don't. I don't. I don't smoke
- 12:41Speaker 1: with I don't know what you're talking about. Said what
- 12:48Speaker 1: that couldn't be a drop reference either way. I wasn't there.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what lit Mick. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 1: especially in front of your kids, know what, You gotta
- 12:59Speaker 1: stay fresh him, Tommy, We got younger kids too, you know. Hey, hey, hey,
- 13:04Speaker 1: let me tell you what I did. One day in Atlanta.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I came out of my officer with my shirt open,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and my kids friends was in the house. When you say, Dad,
- 13:12Speaker 1: your shirt is open, I said, I live here. Tell
- 13:16Speaker 1: all your little flat stomach ass from to turn around
- 13:19Speaker 1: quick looking over here. But it's so funny. Steve you're right,
- 13:22Speaker 1: because we're at an age now where everything we do
- 13:25Speaker 1: embarrasses our kids. There's nothing that we can do that
- 13:29Speaker 1: where our kids think we're cool. Nothing. All right, listen,
- 13:33Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two after the hour, we'll have
- 13:35Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Shop. Right after this. Wait,
- 13:38Speaker 1: let we let turn up. You're listening to show the
- 13:45Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's praying phone call. What you
- 13:48Speaker 1: got next the shop lift? Let's go cat. Hello. Yes,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Tanya. Please Hi. Tell you
- 14:01Speaker 1: my name is Daniel. I'm the head of store security
- 14:03Speaker 1: here at your job. Uh, listen, I'm trying to see um,
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to I know, to day's your day off.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm looking at the schedule here. It seems that you
- 14:12Speaker 1: don't come back in until Saturday. I'm trying to see
- 14:15Speaker 1: if it's possible I can get you to come to
- 14:17Speaker 1: the store. There's a bit of a situation I want
- 14:19Speaker 1: to discuss with you. There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth
- 14:22Speaker 1: of merchandise missing from the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen
- 14:28Speaker 1: hundred dollars worth of merchandise. And we definitely know that
- 14:30Speaker 1: this is a in house situation. This is not someone
- 14:34Speaker 1: walking in shoplifting. This is definitely an in house situation
- 14:38Speaker 1: with employees who have evidently been shoplifting from the store,
- 14:42Speaker 1: taking things, and we want to get down to the
- 14:45Speaker 1: to the roots of the problem. Well, ma'am, it's uh,
- 14:50Speaker 1: it's been brought to my attention that there's a possibility
- 14:53Speaker 1: that you may be part of this situation. And I
- 15:00Speaker 1: ain't no thief. I don't steal. You don't call my
- 15:04Speaker 1: house accusing me is stealing. I ain't stole nothing from nobody. Okay, Well,
- 15:08Speaker 1: my hangar man, what I'm trying to do is just
- 15:10Speaker 1: trying to you, trying to say out and stole something,
- 15:14Speaker 1: and I ain't stole them. Okay, wait just a second. Now,
- 15:17Speaker 1: do you have a sister named Cynthia? Yeah, what about it? Well, now,
- 15:22Speaker 1: it seems that here on some of the footage that
- 15:24Speaker 1: we have on camera, that it's a possibility that it
- 15:28Speaker 1: seems like your sister's actually wearing some of the merchandise
- 15:31Speaker 1: that we sell here in the store. Okay, just because
- 15:35Speaker 1: she wears something that we sell in the store, don't
- 15:38Speaker 1: mean that I stole it. Well, we don't see where
- 15:41Speaker 1: she's act I backed the footage up as far as
- 15:44Speaker 1: I could. I don't see any footage of where she
- 15:47Speaker 1: purchased this particular merchandise. And my assumption is maybe you
- 15:51Speaker 1: gave it to her. I ain't gave her. And just
- 15:54Speaker 1: because you don't see what somebody purchased it don't mean
- 15:56Speaker 1: that it's been stolen. Okay, here's what I'm gonna get.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm just get to the chase of this, Tanya. What
- 16:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to do is this if I can't
- 16:05Speaker 1: get you to come to the store man. And matter
- 16:08Speaker 1: of fact, here's another question for you before I go
- 16:09Speaker 1: any further. You have children at all, Tanya? Yeah, I
- 16:12Speaker 1: got children? Why do you? Is it possible? Because I'm
- 16:16Speaker 1: missing a lot of baby merchandise as well. And you
- 16:20Speaker 1: know what, you know what you really cruising for this morning? Okay,
- 16:25Speaker 1: because you don't call somebody on the off day accusing
- 16:29Speaker 1: them of stealing. Okay, here's what I gotta do. Are
- 16:32Speaker 1: you coming into the office so I can talk with you.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm not coming know where on my off day. Well,
- 16:39Speaker 1: then what's gonna happen, miss Tanya, is I'm gonna have
- 16:42Speaker 1: to actually come to your home check your closet. I'm
- 16:45Speaker 1: gonna have to check your kids and see if they're
- 16:48Speaker 1: check and see if they're wearing merchandise that comes from this.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Come to my house if you want to, and they're
- 16:53Speaker 1: gonna take your somebody here in abody back. Excuse me.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You heard what I said. You heard what I said.
- 16:59Speaker 1: You don't call nobody. I bust my death store. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: bust my to that store. You understand me. I work
- 17:06Speaker 1: hard for y'all. Okay, you're you've been busting you You've
- 17:09Speaker 1: been busting your car here excusing me of stealing. I
- 17:12Speaker 1: ain't so from nobody. I don't have to steal. That's
- 17:15Speaker 1: why I work all that, you understand. I think you've
- 17:18Speaker 1: been busting your butt. Taking stuff is what you've been doing.
- 17:21Speaker 1: You've been from nobody. You understand me. I do not steal.
- 17:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna come over there. I'm checking your closet stings,
- 17:29Speaker 1: but it ain't no sea, you understand. And I'm checking
- 17:32Speaker 1: your babies as well. And I'm making check my babies
- 17:35Speaker 1: and see what happens. You put your heads on any
- 17:37Speaker 1: damn thing in here and see what happens. Okay, I
- 17:40Speaker 1: don't want to have to drag your butt here. Oh
- 17:43Speaker 1: you're gonna drag somebody. Oh, Now, you threatening me? I
- 17:46Speaker 1: don't want to drag by of your house security guy.
- 17:49Speaker 1: You tough security guy. You like your job that much,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you're willing to die for that? Huh? Who said anything
- 17:54Speaker 1: about me? Die? I did come over here, and that's
- 17:57Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. That's what happens when you put people
- 18:00Speaker 1: on the off day, you get hurt. Okay, I get
- 18:03Speaker 1: a couple of damn days off and y'all gonna call
- 18:05Speaker 1: me with this. So are you threatening me? Now? I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: threatening you? Didn't you just called that you was coming
- 18:11Speaker 1: over here. Yes, I did bring you. I'm don't bring
- 18:16Speaker 1: your security guard. I'm all don't. Let me tell you something. Okay,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I'm getting you. I can have you brought up on charges.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You know that. Bring me up on charges and see
- 18:26Speaker 1: what happens, you see if you get that first. I'm
- 18:30Speaker 1: on my way over there now to check you when
- 18:32Speaker 1: your kids. You understand, man, I'm over here to check
- 18:34Speaker 1: me and my kids and see how they checked somebody here.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Now, you got to tell me.
- 18:41Speaker 1: You ain't got nothing to tell me, you ain't got something.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Why don't you go ahead? And tell me what you took.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Maybe I'll go light on you. I'll go like I'm
- 18:49Speaker 1: stupid or something. You don't sound like a damn food.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Why don't you tell me what you took? I took?
- 18:55Speaker 1: I bet you teaching your little kids over there how
- 18:57Speaker 1: to steal too. Aren't you what what you tea? Hey? Hey?
- 19:01Speaker 1: Hey hey? Now you hey hey hey hey hey hey,
- 19:06Speaker 1: don't call me with this on my stake. Let me
- 19:10Speaker 1: tell you one mother, Are you listening to me? I
- 19:12Speaker 1: got one more thing to say to you. You ain't
- 19:14Speaker 1: got nothing else to say to me? Are you listening
- 19:17Speaker 1: what this is? Nephew timing from the Steve Harvey Martin Show.
- 19:21Speaker 1: You just got prank your sister sid to you? Okay? Okay?

- 19:39Speaker 1: care of her and all her ugly na play with
- 19:42Speaker 1: me and my all day, all right? Tell you she
- 19:47Speaker 1: told me, she told me, she said that timmy be
- 19:50Speaker 1: be pranking people. You can't nobody get me that on
- 19:52Speaker 1: crazy stuff that come to people don't know. Somebody calling
- 19:54Speaker 1: and tripping with this. She told me you couldn't you
- 19:56Speaker 1: thought you couldn't be got That's right, y'all. Got me,
- 20:05Speaker 1: I love you. I got some bug. All right. Let
- 20:11Speaker 1: me ask you one more thing. What is the baddest
- 20:14Speaker 1: radio show in the land. Let's Steve Harvey Morning Show US.
- 20:20Speaker 1: That goes out to all the shoplifters out there. How's that?
- 20:22Speaker 1: Let's cool? Then get shot out, they get shot out,

- 22:13Speaker 1: he's your boo whatever, So don't treat him like a
- 22:16Speaker 1: tread No, I ain't had it. What do you mean?
- 22:20Speaker 1: You know? Treat you like an equal? What hap I'm
- 22:25Speaker 1: just saying I ain't saying who it was. I'm just
- 22:27Speaker 1: saying we didn't say who. Yeah, you're being treated equal.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Now I'm being treated equal. Now you know, Okay, I've been.
- 22:36Speaker 1: I've been. I've actually been a slave. I mean, you know,
- 22:46Speaker 1: if that's the game you're playing, that was that the
- 22:49Speaker 1: game you were playing or something? You know how people
- 22:52Speaker 1: roll through roll reversal? Uh? Game? He was a slave
- 22:59Speaker 1: me my shoes? What are you talking about? Roller? You

- 23:12Speaker 1: been in such a bad relationship that they'd be sleep
- 23:14Speaker 1: on your arm in the morning, and you have a
- 23:18Speaker 1: decision to make. Do I run the risk of pulling
- 23:22Speaker 1: my arm out and waking her up? Or do I
- 23:25Speaker 1: just chew it off? That's your man? I damn near
- 23:35Speaker 1: I damn that had got it off. But I started
- 23:37Speaker 1: crying because I had been bitten into my show. That
- 23:42Speaker 1: blood was everywhere. She woke up with blood all around
- 23:45Speaker 1: in my mouth? What are you doing? I was trying
- 23:48Speaker 1: to chew so this wouldn't happen, but she heard me whimpering,
- 24:01Speaker 1: How Steve, why are you crack? Why that blood on
- 24:09Speaker 1: your trying to eat, which obviously I didn't do this
- 24:15Speaker 1: blood everywhere on these sheets. You didn't mess these sheets.
- 24:18Speaker 1: And what are you doing? Sorry? Hey, just trying to
- 24:21Speaker 1: leave your ass sleep is what I was trying to
- 24:26Speaker 1: my bad. Let me go to the hospital and get
- 24:30Speaker 1: these eighty five stitches put in my shoulder I had.
- 24:38Speaker 1: I had most of the meat in my mouth, so
- 24:40Speaker 1: they was able to pack it back on and restructure
- 24:42Speaker 1: my shoulders. Ahead, all right, you know, like compliment with
- 24:46Speaker 1: him when he does something, well, that's a good way
- 24:49Speaker 1: to get him to open up, like Roman. Yeah, like
- 24:52Speaker 1: you know, compliment of the things he does well, you know,
- 24:54Speaker 1: in case he's self conscious or something. You know, oh honey,
- 24:58Speaker 1: I like the way you did this, or you know whatever. Whatever.
- 25:01Speaker 1: That's all you're gonna do. That's what you've heard. That's
- 25:06Speaker 1: what you get. Who told you to put that on?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Told me one time you got on four different blacks,
- 25:14Speaker 1: them blacks, right, that's four different blacks you got on
- 25:17Speaker 1: them pants, Gonna go with that jacket, that shirt, that's

- 25:26Speaker 1: where you going? Yeah, Yeah, all of a sudden, you're
- 25:32Speaker 1: just gonna put on a clean T shirt. Now the
- 25:34Speaker 1: blue changing behavior, all right, You gotta pick the right time, okay.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Don't start asking him about his feelings when he's rushed
- 25:47Speaker 1: or when he's distracted or watching the game and stuff
- 25:50Speaker 1: like that. You gotta ease into it, ladies. Right here,
- 25:55Speaker 1: So you just gonna sit there and ain't gonna talk
- 25:57Speaker 1: to me, Well, I'm wanting the damn got Oh the

- 26:10Speaker 1: is pretty big. They're only gonna play this wats a year?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Did you actually say those words? But you're getting safe.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Here's another one. Watch your approach, how you approach it.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Don't just push it down his throat, you know. Yeah,
- 26:29Speaker 1: be gentle, Be non judgmental. You know, you want him
- 26:31Speaker 1: to open up. You don't want him to run away
- 26:33Speaker 1: from the conversation because you show it. Don't want to
- 26:35Speaker 1: put that down your throat. Yeah, yeah, you don't want to.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Don't put you down out throat. And watch your body language, ladies.
- 26:45Speaker 1: We're just moving on. We're just moving on. Watch, yes,
- 26:49Speaker 1: watch your body language, you know. Yeah, keep yourself cool,
- 26:53Speaker 1: keep your you know, don't forget you're trying to make
- 26:55Speaker 1: him feel safe and not judged. Okay, so you know,
- 26:58Speaker 1: be cool about it, you know, sexy with the Yeah, okay,
- 27:03Speaker 1: I'm learning. I'm sure scared. You got that one. Seeve,
- 27:06Speaker 1: you cool with that one? Watch your body language, watch
- 27:09Speaker 1: your body less? Do you hear me talking to you?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Is that neck movie turned around? Everything you're saying sitting
- 27:17Speaker 1: over there with your arms fold? Yeah, you gotta be
- 27:21Speaker 1: cool about it, ladies. If you want to get him
- 27:23Speaker 1: to open up, you want him no, no, but you
- 27:25Speaker 1: crossed your living and forward. This an ugly conversations and yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 1: these ain't good advices. If you want to come talk
- 27:40Speaker 1: to me naked, I would be wide open as soon
- 27:43Speaker 1: as you walk in the though talking to me. Nick,
- 27:45Speaker 1: Can I talk to you from here? Are you with
- 27:49Speaker 1: your unless it is a game you really want? You
- 27:51Speaker 1: picked now to be naked? Yeah, right now? Every time
- 27:56Speaker 1: to be naked. You're show all right, Steve? Time now
- 28:05Speaker 1: for asked the CLO your favorite segment. The Chief Love
- 28:09Speaker 1: Officer is in the building. Please submit your questions to
- 28:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com. This is one question from
- 28:16Speaker 1: Sharon out of Kentucky. Steve. She says, I'm a single mother,
- 28:20Speaker 1: and earlier this year, I moved out of state and
- 28:23Speaker 1: took my eleven year old daughter with me. My daughter
- 28:26Speaker 1: has had a hard time adjusting, and now she tells
- 28:29Speaker 1: me that she hates me. I found out that she's
- 28:32Speaker 1: been texting her dad saying I'm verbally abusive and she
- 28:35Speaker 1: needs to come live with him. I can't get my
- 28:38Speaker 1: ex husband to see that she's being manipulative. He is
- 28:41Speaker 1: a great dad, but I know he's not ready to
- 28:44Speaker 1: be a single dad. How can I get my daughter
- 28:47Speaker 1: to stop lying and acting out? Wow, Well, I don't
- 28:53Speaker 1: know who answer that I can give you that? Oh,
- 28:58Speaker 1: keep me out of coy radio friendly. Yeah, I'm trying
- 29:02Speaker 1: to find a radio friendly So I guess I could
- 29:04Speaker 1: say counseling. That's an answer. See. Oh, no, you're right.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I could stop all this line at my house, but
- 29:19Speaker 1: you don't. You're not gonna do that, So counseling. Next question.
- 29:23Speaker 1: All right, here we go. Dante and Raleigh, North Carolina says,
- 29:26Speaker 1: I'm a young, hard working single guy and I live
- 29:29Speaker 1: outside the city, so I shop at a small family
- 29:33Speaker 1: owned store that's close to my house. The store is
- 29:35Speaker 1: run by three middle age sisters, that look like that
- 29:40Speaker 1: look like trolls? Do? Three old women make shopping a
- 29:46Speaker 1: living hell for me? They say the most inappropriate things
- 29:49Speaker 1: to me and treat me like a piece of meat.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I don't want to be rude, so I've been trying
- 29:53Speaker 1: to ignore them. I would feel funny reporting them to
- 29:56Speaker 1: their dad. How can I get them to leave me?
- 29:59Speaker 1: A now? Where he says he lives in North Carolina,
- 30:04Speaker 1: Drive to a Walmart. You're outside of Rally, I don't care.
- 30:10Speaker 1: It's Walmart is close by. Get your ass to a Walmart.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I'm not going in here take abuse from ugly people.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do it. That's what I'm not gonna do. Yeah,
- 30:20Speaker 1: I draw the line right here. If you cute, you
- 30:22Speaker 1: can talk to me bad sometimes, but if your little
- 30:26Speaker 1: troll looking ass, you can't say not a damn thing
- 30:29Speaker 1: to me because it comes cross different. You know, it
- 30:31Speaker 1: ain't even funny. You know, when qute people mess with you,
- 30:34Speaker 1: you go, you go. You're a little ugly person, say
- 30:37Speaker 1: something to you, damn it. You know, you keep that
- 30:42Speaker 1: look on your face like, yeah, hey man, just drive
- 30:46Speaker 1: to Walmart. You're in Raleigh. I know you live outside Riley.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You're trying to support a local business. But you ain't
- 30:52Speaker 1: got to ugly. People have ugly attitude, just the man,
- 31:01Speaker 1: so Steve. This one's from Kirby in New Jersey. Kirby says,
- 31:05Speaker 1: my husband and I are very active in our church,
- 31:08Speaker 1: and our social life was mostly events at church. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: stopped going to church when I found out my husband
- 31:13Speaker 1: had an affair with the church secretary and everyone knew
- 31:18Speaker 1: it but me. My husband confessed and broke down and cried.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I told him he needs to get in front of
- 31:23Speaker 1: the congregation and apologize to me. Church will reopen next Sunday,
- 31:29Speaker 1: and he said he will not do that. He's willing
- 31:33Speaker 1: to throw away twenty three years of marriage instead. Should
- 31:36Speaker 1: I just let him go? He I don't know how
- 31:43Speaker 1: the public apology in front of the church is go
- 31:46Speaker 1: make you feel any better, be any less hurt, or
- 31:51Speaker 1: be even more forgiving. I don't know what it is
- 31:55Speaker 1: about that that would make it do now. I think
- 31:58Speaker 1: what you're trying to do is because you think everybody knew,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and they didn't. Some people knew, but when the story
- 32:07Speaker 1: got out, girl, I saw him over there and I said,
- 32:10Speaker 1: you know, you're hearing a lot of that and a
- 32:12Speaker 1: lot of the church members that found out you found
- 32:15Speaker 1: out acted like they was in the No suspicion and
- 32:19Speaker 1: know is two different things. So I think it's it
- 32:23Speaker 1: doesn't make any sense for you to ask him to
- 32:25Speaker 1: do that. He's not trying to throwing it away. Was
- 32:27Speaker 1: the affair. He broke down and cried, he said, I'm sorry,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and that you want him to publicly apologize to you,
- 32:33Speaker 1: and he said he's not gonna do that. Who goes
- 32:35Speaker 1: to church to stand up in front of the church
- 32:39Speaker 1: to apo? That's not what churches for. Church is a
- 32:42Speaker 1: place for forgiveness. You don't go to church to confess.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Now unless y'all Catholic and y'all got to boof up
- 32:49Speaker 1: at the front and they have confession. Didn't do that right,
- 32:56Speaker 1: But ain't nobody got it where you got to go
- 32:58Speaker 1: stand up in front of everybody. Don't know what's going
- 33:00Speaker 1: on at that church. Half your church probably need to
- 33:02Speaker 1: stand up and say I'm sorry to somebody about something
- 33:05Speaker 1: a matter of fact, all of them. And see she
- 33:07Speaker 1: never even said how she found out, So you're right,
- 33:11Speaker 1: maybe everybody at the church doesn't know, she thinks. And
- 33:14Speaker 1: if they do, so what how is that gonna make
- 33:17Speaker 1: you better. See, Yeah, I just don't see how what
- 33:21Speaker 1: that does for you. You're not loan that line to
- 33:23Speaker 1: be If that was a Baptist booth, you're not log
- 33:28Speaker 1: any Yeah, short, So do you know how long I
- 33:32Speaker 1: have to stay in now? Yeah? It was, sir, a
- 33:38Speaker 1: Baptist booth. Sir, how long are you in here with it?
- 33:42Speaker 1: Mister hark? Mister hark? What is you in that set?
- 33:46Speaker 1: Why are you crying again again? If it was a
- 33:51Speaker 1: Baptist booth, a Baptist booth, I like that instead of
- 33:58Speaker 1: how I'll forgive you, give you for your sins. You
- 34:01Speaker 1: be here, man? What man you lying? God do? Man?
- 34:10Speaker 1: I can't help you with that damn party, now, Steve.
- 34:13Speaker 1: They do in church, you know, like if you've done
- 34:15Speaker 1: something like say this man is done and the pastor
- 34:18Speaker 1: found out, they will sit you down. If you have
- 34:20Speaker 1: a prominent position in the church, they will do what's
- 34:23Speaker 1: called sitting. He ain't got that. She was the church circuitar.
- 34:26Speaker 1: He ain't got no position, right, She never said any
- 34:29Speaker 1: of that. So, yeah, they're real active though he's something
- 34:34Speaker 1: in the church. They real active. Yeah, and he was
- 34:38Speaker 1: mo active, very very active. Thank you for your CLLO questions,
- 34:45Speaker 1: thank you Clo. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Truth
- 34:51Speaker 1: be told. Come on, Junior, I don't know who these

- 35:10Speaker 1: me at seven. Come about what you're doing? Dog is sad.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to sleep all trying to do well here.

- 35:54Speaker 1: this is not comfortable. I'm not comfortable when you heard
- 35:58Speaker 1: me saying hello, Hello, you gonna fall? Dog? Guess what? What? What?
- 36:03Speaker 1: Etcept fifteen? What? Why am I guessing? I ain't got
- 36:07Speaker 1: no shirt on right now? Why you want to wake up? No,
- 36:10Speaker 1: I ain't got no shirt one? What shirt? I'm just asking?
- 36:15Speaker 1: However I sleep? It ain't none of your fifteen. I'm
- 36:17Speaker 1: just something. I'm comfortable with the conversation. That's all I'm saying,
- 36:23Speaker 1: y'all should just just just find something else that don't
- 36:25Speaker 1: call people no mother, That's all. I just want to say.
- 36:27Speaker 1: What's the earliest you can take pen thirty seven fifteen
- 36:32Speaker 1: on the set? Yeah? Ten thirty. I want to get up,

- 39:30Speaker 1: and all of them sudden they're betting you just because
- 39:32Speaker 1: they had a name tag. They had a little two
- 39:35Speaker 1: cent rave too, damn sent no not not not for
- 39:41Speaker 1: neckoli speaking. That's all they got with two damn sins
- 39:44Speaker 1: for a check one check that ship. How about that? Yeah?

- 48:02Speaker 1: all right, Tory works. Man. You ain't got nobody in
- 48:06Speaker 1: the area that could come out here and just check
- 48:08Speaker 1: it out. Man Quinny, I'm trying my best not to
- 48:10Speaker 1: come out and and and and and turn your power off.
- 48:13Speaker 1: And I know you got somewhere to go. Turn my

- 49:55Speaker 1: shooting all work, and when I get back from work,
- 49:58Speaker 1: way this should be on. I got one more thing
- 50:01Speaker 1: I need to say to you, Quinny. It's better be
- 50:03Speaker 1: the last thing. That's his nephew Tommy from the Steve

- 51:50Speaker 1: you're welcome. What do you mean you haven't done that
- 51:52Speaker 1: any well? You know when Steve is here, you don't
- 51:54Speaker 1: let me introduce the letter? No, mott up, I don't
- 51:57Speaker 1: need all that's sure. Jill ignaty. Well she back and
- 52:02Speaker 1: you did it, so can we do the letter now?
- 52:04Speaker 1: You're happy? He hate? It's a lot going on, all right?
- 52:13Speaker 1: Subject like me? My uncle do not like me. He
- 52:17Speaker 1: loves you though, he loves you. Yeah, all right, subject
- 52:21Speaker 1: her family is gathering for y'all. Both of y'all are correct?
- 52:26Speaker 1: What your uncle and he do not like? See that,
- 52:30Speaker 1: but he loves you, all right? Yeah, I love you
- 52:34Speaker 1: the death boy. Ain't gonna let nothing happen to you.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Do not particularly care for you. All right, here we go,
- 52:43Speaker 1: just Stephen Shirley's Yes it is. I grew up in
- 52:48Speaker 1: a two parent home, and both of my parents earned
- 52:50Speaker 1: college degrees and worked hard to provide a good life
- 52:54Speaker 1: for me and my siblings. And I have a college
- 52:56Speaker 1: degree as well. And I've been married for over twenty
- 53:00Speaker 1: years to a great woman, and we have two teenagers.
- 53:04Speaker 1: My teenagers are well mannered and really smart kids. So
- 53:08Speaker 1: here's my problem. I met my wife in college and
- 53:11Speaker 1: fell in love with her, but I cannot stand her family.
- 53:16Speaker 1: They are, for lack of a better term, ghetto. I
- 53:19Speaker 1: must admit that as my kids grew up, I limited
- 53:22Speaker 1: their access to my wife's side of the family, but
- 53:25Speaker 1: I had to be careful so I wouldn't offend my wife.
- 53:28Speaker 1: These people are hood and they have a cookout for
- 53:31Speaker 1: every occasion. They all live on the same street in
- 53:36Speaker 1: five or six mobile homes, so they always are down
- 53:40Speaker 1: to party, play cards, drink, get all loud, and act
- 53:44Speaker 1: a fool. These kids are always part of their kids
- 53:48Speaker 1: are always part of the festivities, and when my children
- 53:51Speaker 1: were younger, my wife wanted our children to get to
- 53:54Speaker 1: know their cousins. That didn't last long because the hood
- 53:57Speaker 1: cousins started teasing my children about the way they speak
- 54:01Speaker 1: and how they carried themselves. One of my sons will
- 54:04Speaker 1: be graduating from high school soon and my wife has
- 54:08Speaker 1: a party plan for him. She wants to invite her
- 54:11Speaker 1: entire family to the party that's in our community center
- 54:15Speaker 1: in our neighborhood. I have politely reminded her how much
- 54:20Speaker 1: of a fiasco it might be, but she is dead
- 54:23Speaker 1: sit on having her family included. I can already imagine
- 54:27Speaker 1: a dice game jumping off by the pool if her
- 54:30Speaker 1: uncle comes. I don't want to be disrespectful, but I
- 54:33Speaker 1: need to put my foot down and set some ground rules.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, how can I make this party work? Wow? Well? First, first, first,
- 54:44Speaker 1: no alcohol. I have to say that, no alcohol, because
- 54:47Speaker 1: that's when the stuff jumps off. No alcohol, okay, none,
- 54:52Speaker 1: don't have any. They're gonna be mad. But you can't
- 54:55Speaker 1: have any alcohol because they get that in them and
- 54:58Speaker 1: it's just no telling. You might want to have some
- 55:01Speaker 1: security around, some playing close security, you know, let them
- 55:05Speaker 1: mingle through the crowd and everything, because you know that's
- 55:09Speaker 1: in case something does go down. You know. In the meantime, though,
- 55:13Speaker 1: I gotta tell you this. I gotta tell you this.
- 55:15Speaker 1: She gave us a lot of information in your letter.
- 55:17Speaker 1: You know about you graduating from college. You and your
- 55:20Speaker 1: wife have been together for twenty years. She's a great woman.
- 55:23Speaker 1: You fell in love with her. Your kids are great.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Their hood cousins make fun of them and everything. I
- 55:29Speaker 1: just say, in the meantime, this is a teenage party.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You know, remind people of that. So it should be
- 55:35Speaker 1: okay because it's for the teenagers as long as a
- 55:37Speaker 1: grown folks don't act to fool the adults just have
- 55:41Speaker 1: to behave You love your wife. You said that you
- 55:44Speaker 1: love your wife. You fell in love with her, and
- 55:46Speaker 1: you don't want to offend her, so please please be
- 55:50Speaker 1: mindful of that. You know that these are her folks.
- 55:52Speaker 1: She wants them to be included. She loves them, and
- 55:56Speaker 1: really she wants them there, So I mean it or not,
- 56:00Speaker 1: ghetto or not, as you call it, they're gonna. They're
- 56:02Speaker 1: gonna be there because this is what the wife that
- 56:04Speaker 1: you love want. So no alcohol and a little bit
- 56:07Speaker 1: of security might help you, Steve. Well, how many minutes
- 56:11Speaker 1: I got here before I get started on this. I
- 56:15Speaker 1: just wanted to say that I completely and totally disagree
- 56:20Speaker 1: with everything Shirley said. Your damn children need these people. Yes,
- 56:29Speaker 1: they do. Try to give a damn both my parents
- 56:33Speaker 1: and college degree. My mom and daddy ain't ever't. My
- 56:36Speaker 1: dad ain't even finished elementary school. My mama got a
- 56:40Speaker 1: high school diploma, that's it. Ain't. None of my brothers
- 56:44Speaker 1: and sisters been in no college that's it. I went
- 56:47Speaker 1: funk right out. I got a college degree as well.
- 56:51Speaker 1: I've been married over twenty years. Everybody, don't make it
- 56:54Speaker 1: twenty years hip hip, hoorade for you, Pardner, Are you
- 56:59Speaker 1: better Stevie's now. I'm just gonna tell him what because
- 57:02Speaker 1: you know he think he's somebody. Yeah, you got these
- 57:05Speaker 1: two teenagers. They well mannered and really smart kids. They
- 57:09Speaker 1: booked smart, they ass ain't street smart. Stupid ass. Need
- 57:13Speaker 1: to get with these cus and show them how to
- 57:15Speaker 1: handle themselves out there in life. You got a family
- 57:19Speaker 1: that's got five mobile parks down the street from each other,
- 57:22Speaker 1: all of them in trailer home. He needs to know
- 57:24Speaker 1: these people because something could pop off. You need them people,
- 57:30Speaker 1: and you're mad and stuff. You don't want them around
- 57:33Speaker 1: there for lack of better turn. They get old. Everybody
- 57:36Speaker 1: on this morning show from damn get old. It's a
- 57:39Speaker 1: lot of good in the hood. But you think because
- 57:43Speaker 1: you got this little degree, oh, you think your ass
- 57:46Speaker 1: is somebody and you special where you ain't. You're mad
- 57:50Speaker 1: at him? Yeah? Hell yeah, And I'm gonna tell you
- 57:53Speaker 1: why when you come back. Yeah, sending him here because
- 57:57Speaker 1: he got a little punk ass degree, all right, listen, Steve,
- 58:01Speaker 1: hang onto that. We'll have part two of your self

- 1:06:47Speaker 1: We was just bustling up our seatbelts and they didn't
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: know a school bus hit us. My mama bought that

- 1:15:44Speaker 1: damn it? You know who I ain't called? Let me
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: call him right now? And what time you at? Seven fifteen?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: First of all, I ain't formed a thought. And then
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: you're another grown man talking to another grown man. As
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I lay in bad, I say, you ready, this is
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: not comfortable. I'm not comfortable when you heard me saying hello, Hello,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: you gonna fall? Dog? Guess what? What? What? Except fifteen? What?
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Why am I kissing? I ain't got no shirt on
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: right now? No, I ain't got no shirt on? You sleep?
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: What shirt? I'm just however I sleep? It ain't none
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: of your misstep. Fiftee. I'm just sing comfortable with the conversation.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Y'all should just just just find
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: something else that don't call people no both, That's all.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I just want to say, what's the earliest you can
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: take ten thirty seven fifteen on the set. Yeah, ten thirty.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I want to get up and have my coffee, enjoying
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: my morning. What do you call me at seven fifteen?
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I ain't got no shirt all you talk about? Guess
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: what what? This is uncomfortable. It's uncomfortable you laying horizon
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: talking to another man except dog, I got I got,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I got one leg in the bed, one leg out
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: to be Yes, what that's all I want to say?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Just stop calling her ten thirty, ten thirty, don't call it.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: You'll be upsid. Yeah, and the person I'm talking about
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: it is Jake. Don't want y'all know wow, just want try.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: You know, we agreed not to bring that up, to
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: agree that we agree that you would not. Both of y'all.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Come on, I think you agree with both of y'all.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Both of y'all. Sick ass me said, women, lady something
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: to do? Got nothing y'all waking up by y'all Sam
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: shirt on you? Why is'all y'all issues? Ain't even real me?
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: I mean I thought we agreed, all right, Steve coming
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: up closing remarks right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day on this Monday.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: It's been a good day. We've had some fun today.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Thank you, and now it's time for you to take
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: us home get back to work with some closing remarks. Uh.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: You know something, Um, as I get older and I
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: go through things in my life, one of the things
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I've become really comfortable with is sharing my own personal
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: experiences with people and hope that they can learn from
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: some of the experiences I've had, some of the mistakes
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: I've made. And so, you know, one of the things
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I wanted to help people with out there, because everybody
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: has their share of haters out there, and so I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: just want to talk to you for just a second
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: about the people that you surround yourself with. It's important
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: that you take constant inventory in your life to make
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: sure that you don't have dead weight attached to you.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: It's important that you don't have people or who are
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: in a relationship with you that's just one sided. It's
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: important that you know that everybody in your life is
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: important to you and would be there for you in
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: the moment of du rest. Now, if these people don't
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: fit that bill, then I'm sorry you got to do
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: something else, But you got to watch people you got
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to constantly monitor people because people change, especially as you
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: elevate in life. As you elevate in life, people have
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: a different perception of you. Seeing what I found in
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: getting more and more and more success tful. It's not
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: that you change as you becomes more and more successful.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: It's that people's perception of you changes. So now it
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: becomes all Now they think they all that are now
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: they think they It is because of that when an actuality,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: you can very well be the same pay person. You're
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: just at a different level. But it's amazing, man, when
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: you get to this other level in order for people
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: to throw rocks at you, it ain't level no more.
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: They got to throw their rocks up at you. And
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: it kind of disheartens you from time to time as
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: you're just minding your business and going through your life
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: and doing what you do to get people throwing rocks
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: up at you. And now a lot of people out
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: there that can relate to what I'm saying. It's not
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: that you think you better than somebody, but it's just
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: that you've gotten yourself in another level. You've just leveled up.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: And when you level up, you can't be concerned with
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: the people that ain't up there with you because a
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: lot of people ain't up there with you because they
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: wouldn't even fit up there with you. Know how, the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: majority of people ain't up there with you because if
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: God wanted them to be up there, he to put
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: them up there, but he didn't. He put you up there.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: And it's okay, that's just what it is. You up there.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: It's not for everybody, this place that you've reached. I'm
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: just sorry, man, It's just not for everybody. And you
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: gotta understand that and don't get disheardened. Man, when when
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: when when you get up at the top and it
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: starts to feel lonely. I was talking with somebody the
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: other day. You know the problem with being at the
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: top is like being on the pyramid. It's a sharp
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: point at the top of that pyramid. Ain't a lot
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: of friends up there, ain't a lot of company up
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: there because guess what, it just ain't a lot of
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: room up there most people. And then now when you
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: do have ends, they write up under that pyramid. They
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: there and you know what they do. They the support
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: system for you. And you find that in people all
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: the time. But man, if you're not careful if you're
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: not really, really careful and you're not monitoring people along
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: the way, it's not you. The changes, they change, their
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: perception of you changes. So once their perception of you changes,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: they attitude towards you changes. I can't count the people, man,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I can't count the people in my life, man, who
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: for one reason or another, felt like it should have
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: been them, or for one reason another, they just got
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: jealous of you because of what you had. I was
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: talking to Jamie Fox at this party the other night,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: and Jamie Fox I showed him something that he had
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: posted on Instagram. He said, wow, man, I'm glad that
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: meant something to you. And what he posted was some
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: people only hate you because of the way other people
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: love you. Y'all, remember that some people only hate you
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: because of the way other people love you. Do you
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: know that That's simply all it takes for some people
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: to hate you. You ain't got to have done nothing
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to them. But people get sick of your success. People
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: get tired of you. God always blessing you, how you
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: always why they get another car from why they keep
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: getting a promotion? What they doing over there? They always brag,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: my theay baby did this? They baby did that? No, no, no,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: no no. Some people only hate you because of the
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: way other people love you. So you got to constantly
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: monitor people in your life, man, because, like I said,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: as you get more and more successful, it's not you
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: who changes, it's the people's perception of you who changes.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: And if they can't make the adjustment, then you have
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: to make the adjustment. You got to get rid of
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: people who don't mean you will. You got to get
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: rid of people who are non supportive. You got to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: get rid of the people that's always bad news. You
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: got to get rid of the people that you always
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: got to help, but they ain't got no help for you.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Am I talking to you? And are you listening? You
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: can't help everybody. Drop it, nobody. Have a good day, y'all,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: have a great weekend Monday. For all Steve every contests,
