  Let me say simply today that God is in charge.

  He orders the universe and he subdues. When he

  subdues, he places those he has subdued under

  his people. The church bears the authority of
• 0:10
  the Lord, not civic governments. Psalm 47 .3
• 0:13
  says as follows, He, that's God, subdues people
• 0:17
  under us and puts all nations under our feet.
• 0:20
  God ordered Israel as essentially a theocracy,
• 0:24
  with God really being the boss. And now the church
• 0:27
  has God as the boss. Some people aren't thoughtful
• 0:30
  about getting to heaven when they die or even
• 0:32
  about being obedient to the God of the universe.
• 0:35
  But even that does not free them from this dynamic.
• 0:37
  God has chosen for himself those he has chosen.
• 0:40
  And in so doing, he has ordered the universe
• 0:41
  to put all men at just the right time under their
• 0:45
  feet. When Jesus comes again, this will become
• 0:47
  very clear as people of God, saved through Jesus,
• 0:50
  will be rushing into the eternal kingdom and
• 0:52
  everyone else will suffer the fate prepared for
• 0:54
  them. I would just encourage you today, it is
• 0:57
  resolved. And you know it. In your heart of hearts,
• 1:00
  you know it is resolved. You know the true order
• 1:02
  of things. And these seeming temporal difficulties
• 1:05
  are just that, seeming and temporal. Choose truth.
• 1:09
  Choose eternity. Trust God.
