- 2:08Speaker 5: Steve Harvey got a radio show one more time partner,
- 2:12Speaker 5: Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:17Speaker 5: How amazing is that? How good has God been to me?
- 2:23Speaker 5: How good has He been to you? Just check yourself sometimes,
- 2:28Speaker 5: just sit up and just just run a survey. Just
- 2:31Speaker 5: look at your life where it's at. That might not
- 2:34Speaker 5: be where you want it to be, but that's probably
- 2:35Speaker 5: some decisions you made. But really, though, in spite of
- 2:39Speaker 5: all the crazy mistakes I don't made, I mean, man,
- 2:44Speaker 5: I I I look back at some of the decisions
- 2:47Speaker 5: I done came up with, and and man, it's it's
- 2:49Speaker 5: it's just amazing.
- 2:50Speaker 2: He let me live. I mean, it's it's and and
- 2:54Speaker 2: and to exist the way I exist it that's nothing
- 2:56Speaker 2: but grace, mercy, favor. All that is.
- 3:00Speaker 5: That's what my mama praying for me when I wasn't
- 3:02Speaker 5: praying for myself. That had to be it, because, man,
- 3:05Speaker 5: I can truly tell you I have made enough mistakes man,
- 3:10Speaker 5: stuff you would never even know about, and recovered from.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Them all you can too, and I don't care what
- 3:18Speaker 2: you've done.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Marvin Sap has a song out that says he saw
- 3:22Speaker 5: the best in me when everyone else around me could
- 3:26Speaker 5: only see the worst in me. You know that's an
- 3:30Speaker 5: important song man, especially you know. I want to talk
- 3:34Speaker 5: to men today because man, being a man is so
- 3:41Speaker 5: so difficult. Please know it has been my quest ever
- 3:47Speaker 5: since I was a little boy. My father had one ambition. Son,
- 3:52Speaker 5: I don't care what you do, but when I get
- 3:55Speaker 5: through raising you, you will be a man.
- 3:58Speaker 2: That's all. I want you to be.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Cared what I did for a living and it never
- 4:02Speaker 5: made a difference to him. You're going to be a man.
- 4:05Speaker 5: Manhood is difficult. Now, ladies, just listening to this, I'm
- 4:08Speaker 5: not saying womanhood ain't. I don't know what it takes
- 4:12Speaker 5: to be a woman, so you know, but I do
- 4:15Speaker 5: know exactly what it takes to be a man. So
- 4:18Speaker 5: you know, sometimes when you talk to people on the radio,
- 4:21Speaker 5: you have to preface things because people are just going
- 4:24Speaker 5: he trying to make it look like womanhood.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Ain't. No, That's not what I'm doing.
- 4:27Speaker 5: I'm just talking to men today to explain to them
- 4:30Speaker 5: that they ain't by theyself and struggling trying to figure
- 4:33Speaker 5: this thing out, that you are not alone in your
- 4:36Speaker 5: quest for manhood. That is difficult, I gotta tell you,
- 4:41Speaker 5: man manhood is that kind of difficult, and it becomes
- 4:46Speaker 5: even more compounded if a young boy does not have
- 4:50Speaker 5: a male role model.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I've said it a thousand times. I'll say it again.
- 4:55Speaker 5: A young boy without a male role model is like
- 4:58Speaker 5: an explorer without a man. Well, I have a suggestion
- 5:02Speaker 5: for everybody that's struggling with manhood and all of the
- 5:05Speaker 5: men out there that are men. This messages for all
- 5:08Speaker 5: of us, and it's for me too.
- 5:10Speaker 7: You know.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I was listening to Jeorce Myers the other day and
- 5:14Speaker 5: she made a statement. She said, sometimes you got to
- 5:18Speaker 5: do the right thing even when it feels wrong. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 5: one of the difficulties of manhood is peer pressure and
- 5:28Speaker 5: the misguided principles of manhood. See what God wants us
- 5:34Speaker 5: to be as men and what we believe manhood is.
- 5:38Speaker 5: It is sometimes two different things. I'll give you an example.
- 5:42Speaker 5: I wrote this book for women, right and I was
- 5:45Speaker 5: telling them the three ways that a man shows his love,
- 5:49Speaker 5: and I call them three p's. We profess, we protect,
- 5:53Speaker 5: and we provide. Every man who is a man, that's
- 5:57Speaker 5: how he exhibits love. When not talking talkie comforting with
- 6:01Speaker 5: our great nurturists. But when it comes down to it,
- 6:04Speaker 5: what we all want to do, what is in our DNA,
- 6:08Speaker 5: is to profess our love for something you as a woman,
- 6:11Speaker 5: to protect you as a woman, and to provide for
- 6:13Speaker 5: you as a woman. That's in our DNA. Now, sometimes
- 6:16Speaker 5: that gets messed up. And I'll give you an example.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Sometimes when a boy doesn't have the proper, real role
- 6:23Speaker 5: model in his life, he takes that principle of love
- 6:26Speaker 5: that we all possessing us every man, the professing part,
- 6:29Speaker 5: the protecting, and the providing part, and we misplay it.
- 6:34Speaker 5: That's why gangs exist. Gangs exist off those three principles.
- 6:39Speaker 5: What's the first thing a gang member do. He professed,
- 6:42Speaker 5: he claim a hood. That's the first thing you do.
- 6:45Speaker 5: This is my neighborhood. I'm deuce Trey, I'm triple hh,
- 6:49Speaker 5: I'm doop de doop, I'm purple, I'm red, I'm blue.
- 6:52Speaker 2: The first thing they do is claim, that's professing. That's
- 6:55Speaker 2: how we show our love.
- 6:57Speaker 5: But it's misguided though. Now we prefer in fessing something
- 7:01Speaker 5: that ain't even good for us. Your hood, your gang,
- 7:03Speaker 5: your click. Now guess what. Now we got to protect it.
- 7:09Speaker 5: So now as a protection part of our love, here
- 7:12Speaker 5: we go. You come down here, We're gonna do this
- 7:16Speaker 5: to you. You go over there, they gonna do.
- 7:18Speaker 2: That to you.
- 7:19Speaker 5: You protect your hood, This your turf, this all you got.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Ain't nobody coming down here.
- 7:23Speaker 2: With blue on.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Can't nobody come over here with red on. You can't
- 7:25Speaker 5: come over here with purple on. You can't come over
- 7:27Speaker 5: here with black and gold on. And we and we
- 7:30Speaker 5: protect that because that's in our DNA. And then what's
- 7:33Speaker 5: the third thing we provide? So guess what the gang
- 7:36Speaker 5: need money?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Guess what we do. We selling drugs, were selling women,
- 7:42Speaker 2: we're selling guns. It go back to the same thing.
- 7:46Speaker 8: Man.
- 7:46Speaker 5: I don't know how God gave it to me that
- 7:48Speaker 5: way when I was writing a book, but he showed
- 7:50Speaker 5: it to me along the way. That's how men love well.
- 7:53Speaker 5: When you don't have a role model in your life.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Guess what, Now that love is misplaced, It is misguided.
- 7:58Speaker 5: It's off track. Ain't no man told you that. Really
- 8:01Speaker 5: you're supposed to take this love and give it to
- 8:03Speaker 5: a woman. You're really supposed to profess, protect and provide
- 8:07Speaker 5: for a woman, not your gang set. Now you professing
- 8:11Speaker 5: your hood, repping the color, you protecting your territory, shooting
- 8:14Speaker 5: people driving by coming over you on your street, and
- 8:17Speaker 5: then you provide.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Now you're out here selling drugs and guns for the
- 8:19Speaker 2: same thing.
- 8:20Speaker 5: When a boy does not have a male role model,
- 8:23Speaker 5: he has a misguided way of looking at manhood. Here's
- 8:29Speaker 5: the deal. See, God created all of us in his image.
- 8:32Speaker 5: That means He's put some of our DNA in him.
- 8:36Speaker 5: That's why it's in your DNA to profess, protect, and
- 8:39Speaker 5: provide because guess what, that's what God do for us,
- 8:43Speaker 5: because we His children. I'm just talking to me in
- 8:46Speaker 5: right now. I'm just telling you, man, I had to
- 8:49Speaker 5: wake up about five years ago. I wasn't doing what
- 8:52Speaker 5: God wanted me to do, and then he shook me.
- 8:55Speaker 5: He said, Man, I'm gonna bring about some changes in
- 8:57Speaker 5: your life. I'm gonna cause some things to happen that's
- 9:01Speaker 5: gonna put you in a position. And this time you're
- 9:03Speaker 5: gonna listen to me, because if you don't, you're gonna
- 9:06Speaker 5: keep living in this pain you've been in.
- 9:08Speaker 2: But you put yourself in this pain. I owe no
- 9:11Speaker 2: blame to no one else but myself. Please know, I
- 9:14Speaker 2: know that.
- 9:15Speaker 5: And that's how you really get to manhood. When you
- 9:17Speaker 5: figure out what you have been done wrong. You can't
- 9:19Speaker 5: blame this on none of your exes because you a man.
- 9:22Speaker 5: You can't go my xd this. No, No, you a man, partner.
- 9:26Speaker 5: You got to take responsibility for yours and yours alone.
- 9:30Speaker 5: If you got kids, you got to get to them
- 9:32Speaker 5: some kind of way. Write them a letter, send them
- 9:35Speaker 5: the money. If she won't let you see it, for
- 9:37Speaker 5: the money, whatever, send the money to a mama. Do
- 9:40Speaker 5: what you're supposed to do as a man. Do what
- 9:43Speaker 5: God wants you to do, man, because he's not letting
- 9:46Speaker 5: us off the hook for what we're supposed to be
- 9:49Speaker 5: just because you ain't doing it. And if you do it,
- 9:51Speaker 5: you turn your life around. Just hollering that to fellas
- 9:54Speaker 5: today that's all. Sorry about that.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening morning show.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Normally I'll ask you for your attention, but by now
- 10:05Speaker 5: I think you understand the drill.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So how about it? How you feel this morning? You're good?
- 10:12Speaker 2: Are you grateful? Did you tell him that you appreciate it?
- 10:17Speaker 9: Yes?
- 10:17Speaker 2: Did you say thank you? He's simple thing, y'all.
- 10:21Speaker 5: It's just a real, real simple thing. It really will
- 10:24Speaker 5: affect your attitude. Once you affect your attitude, you have
- 10:30Speaker 5: now made an adaptation and an adjustment to your altitude.
- 10:37Speaker 5: And all of that starts with gratitude. Your gratitude affects
- 10:44Speaker 5: your attitude, which changes your altitude.
- 10:48Speaker 2: You thank you more, you get more. It's just simple process.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Man.
- 10:53Speaker 5: I just want to invite y'all to join in on
- 10:56Speaker 5: what it's on that every day this morning. That's what's
- 10:58Speaker 5: happening on the Steve Harvey Moore on the show. I'm grateful,
- 11:02Speaker 5: I'm blessed, I'm highly favored. The lesson I've learned in
- 11:05Speaker 5: twenty twenty three that has carried me over through intwo
- 11:08Speaker 5: twenty in twenty twenty four is that I am so
- 11:14Speaker 5: battle tested now that I know that all my faith
- 11:20Speaker 5: is in my God and my God alone. And I
- 11:23Speaker 5: know for show right now, because you've shown it to
- 11:25Speaker 5: me time and time again, that there is no weapon
- 11:29Speaker 5: formed against me. That show prosper and I'll get a
- 11:33Speaker 5: chance to refute every single tongue. All I got to
- 11:36Speaker 5: do is be still and watch the show. Ain't over
- 11:40Speaker 5: just cause it started, Ladies and gentlemen, This hell just started.

- 12:01Speaker 5: You know what?
- 12:02Speaker 10: I'm glad you said that, because you know I've started
- 12:04Speaker 10: to thank God for the bad times. See, even for
- 12:07Speaker 10: the bad times, I'm grateful because even stuff I don't
- 12:09Speaker 10: even understand, because that's where I'm at right now. It's
- 12:12Speaker 10: some things happened to me I don't really understand. I'm
- 12:14Speaker 10: thanking them for that. I really am thanking him for that.
- 12:17Speaker 10: I'm thinking for things that I can't even control.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Like like my life.
- 12:21Speaker 10: I don't control my life no more. I'm thanking him
- 12:24Speaker 10: for that. Throw anyway, somebody else in control of my life.
- 12:27Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I have no say so.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I am a former shehall of myself.
- 12:32Speaker 2: I don't even belong to me.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I have no idea who I am.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I just gonna thank him anyway.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Okay, I got a better half, but they run everything. Lord,
- 12:40Speaker 1: I have no say so.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Thank you God, anyway, Thank you God. I ain't picked

- 12:54Speaker 10: I never decided what was going on holiday trip, never
- 12:56Speaker 10: made a plan. But I want to thank you for
- 12:57Speaker 10: it anyway. I didn't even get to pick.

- 13:02Speaker 1: Did get toppy or.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Do you know how?
- 13:08Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 13:08Speaker 5: See that's that's a good thing, man, not to have
- 13:10Speaker 5: to make decisions anymore. Somebody then took over the decision
- 13:14Speaker 5: making process. All you got to do is wake up
- 13:17Speaker 5: and join in. You look at it like that, uh huh,
- 13:22Speaker 5: dorin card. You don't like Ford, but that's what you're driving.
- 13:26Speaker 5: You know, take the vacation, but damn it, you're going.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Thank you, Thank you. Juli that's what you no.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Thank you guys coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 1: the hour. We will run that prank back right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 7: Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for his neph uh?
- 13:53Speaker 12: We got no hair weaves? Surely no hair weed? Okay,
- 13:58Speaker 12: all right, all right, we're talking and here let's go.
- 14:01Speaker 12: Let's go catch leads.
- 14:04Speaker 3: Hello.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Hello, I'm trying to reach Resa. Please Rea, hi Resa.
- 14:09Speaker 7: My name is Byron, Byron from the job. How are you.
- 14:13Speaker 8: I'm okay, how are you?
- 14:14Speaker 7: I'm good? Listen. I hate to call you after hours.
- 14:17Speaker 7: That's your home. But there has been some new issues
- 14:20Speaker 7: that will be going into effect. Thats just tomorrow morning,
- 14:23Speaker 7: and we're calling everyone letting them know the new changes
- 14:27Speaker 7: that have been issued that will take effect first thing
- 14:30Speaker 7: tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call. So don't
- 14:32Speaker 7: be alarmed. It's just give me a call letting you
- 14:35Speaker 7: know what the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay,
- 14:38Speaker 7: there's no problem to listen. Okay. As of tomorrow, what's
- 14:42Speaker 7: gonna happen is when you guys come in, you'll be
- 14:44Speaker 7: issued a new key card. And that particular card will
- 14:47Speaker 7: actually registers when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
- 14:51Speaker 7: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 14:54Speaker 7: any personal internet at the job any longer. You won't
- 14:57Speaker 7: be able They're actually putting a block on all computes us,
- 15:00Speaker 7: all the computers will no longer be able to go
- 15:03Speaker 7: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
- 15:06Speaker 7: to that you've been that's been available here in the past. Okay, okay,
- 15:11Speaker 7: all right. The last one is reesa do you do
- 15:15Speaker 7: you wear a hair weave? What do you wear a
- 15:18Speaker 7: hair weave or a wig?
- 15:20Speaker 8: Yes?
- 15:20Speaker 7: Okay, Well here's one thing and hopefully you can get
- 15:23Speaker 7: this change about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair or
- 15:27Speaker 7: wigs going to be allowed at the job site from
- 15:31Speaker 7: this point on. So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must
- 15:34Speaker 7: be wearing their natural hair. Uh No. These are the
- 15:39Speaker 7: issues that are going to be that are instated, and
- 15:42Speaker 7: these are going to take effect as of tomorrow morning,
- 15:44Speaker 7: seven o'clock.
- 15:45Speaker 8: What does hairwaves to have to do with any of
- 15:47Speaker 8: these changes? The first two I can understand punching in
- 15:50Speaker 8: and being on the internet. Yes, that's something that that
- 15:53Speaker 8: corporate good hair weave and wakes.
- 15:56Speaker 7: You get or they're looking down upon it. Wigs and
- 16:03Speaker 7: hair weaves they have to go. So I'm assuming that
- 16:06Speaker 7: if you, like you said, you do have one, I
- 16:09Speaker 7: suggest it doesn't come out there. You start taking it
- 16:12Speaker 7: down now and prepare your hair to be natural as
- 16:15Speaker 7: you come in to work tomorrow.
- 16:16Speaker 8: I'm not taking my hair down. I've been here seven
- 16:18Speaker 8: years and I've dealt with all the changes that y'all
- 16:20Speaker 8: have made. But there's no way that I'm taking my
- 16:23Speaker 8: hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron?
- 16:26Speaker 7: Yes, my name is Byron, and I'm sorry. Let's get
- 16:30Speaker 7: back to your weed. This has you're going to have
- 16:32Speaker 7: to do something. Is there someone that you can call
- 16:35Speaker 7: tonight to help you get your hair down and so
- 16:37Speaker 7: you can look presentable with your natural hair tomorrow.
- 16:40Speaker 8: No, my weave colls over two three hundred dollars and
- 16:43Speaker 8: I'm not about to take that down. I mean, it
- 16:46Speaker 8: takes a long time to take that down.
- 16:48Speaker 7: Okay, I mean, is this something Maybe you can take
- 16:51Speaker 7: it down and just wear it on the weekends, because
- 16:54Speaker 7: as of now, you're not going to be allowed to
- 16:56Speaker 7: actually wear it on the property.
- 16:58Speaker 8: And how will you know if someone has a weave
- 17:00Speaker 8: or not. Are you gonna do hair checks or something?
- 17:03Speaker 7: Okay, ma'am. I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do
- 17:06Speaker 7: to check it. But by you telling me that you
- 17:10Speaker 7: have a weave, then I have to write it down
- 17:12Speaker 7: that you have confirmed that you do, and we got
- 17:15Speaker 7: to make sure that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one.
- 17:18Speaker 8: But you don't know what my natural hair looks like
- 17:20Speaker 8: from my weave? Are you heard how much I pay
- 17:23Speaker 8: for it?
- 17:23Speaker 13: So it's a good weave, ma'am.
- 17:25Speaker 7: It's not about how good you know with the quality
- 17:28Speaker 7: of your weave or anything. They don't want it. They
- 17:30Speaker 7: want natural hair. I don't know what that means. But
- 17:34Speaker 7: they're going natural. They're going green, they're going natural. I
- 17:36Speaker 7: don't know what it is. They're going natural, and so
- 17:38Speaker 7: will you. Tomorrow morning you need to come in with
- 17:41Speaker 7: your hair completely down. Okay, I'm won't do it.
- 17:44Speaker 8: I'm not taking my weave now.
- 17:46Speaker 7: Okay, Then what is that y'all gonna write me up
- 17:48Speaker 7: or something? Okay, ma'am. Do you not want your job?
- 17:50Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 17:51Speaker 8: I want my job, but this don't make no sense.
- 17:53Speaker 8: You're talking about personal appearance. I can understand y'all have
- 17:56Speaker 8: a dress coach and enforcing a dress code, that's one thing,
- 18:00Speaker 8: But telling somebody to change that you lost your mind. Man,
- 18:04Speaker 8: you're crazy, ma'am.

- 54:00Speaker 2: You never know it could be yours. Buckle up and
- 54:02Speaker 2: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:03Speaker 2: is strawberry letter.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject, I really love our mail man.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband of fourteen years must be
- 54:13Speaker 1: losing his mind because he cheated on me once and
- 54:16Speaker 1: I took him back, so he's got to be crazy
- 54:19Speaker 1: to do it again at this stage of our lives.
- 54:22Speaker 1: We got our marriage back on track after his affair,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and I haven't I hadn't suspected anything else was going
- 54:28Speaker 1: on until November. He started going to bed early and
- 54:32Speaker 1: getting up before I got up, so we couldn't have sex.
- 54:35Speaker 1: My intuition told me to keep an eye on him,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and my intuition. Intuition never fails. My husband is cheating
- 54:42Speaker 1: again and the woman lives in Maryland. They met in
- 54:46Speaker 1: the airport when he went to see his dad in October.
- 54:49Speaker 1: My husband has gone to see his dad at least
- 54:52Speaker 1: six times since then because his dad has been in
- 54:55Speaker 1: and out of the hospital. I bet you want to
- 54:57Speaker 1: know how I found all of this out. Well, it
- 55:00Speaker 1: was our mailman that indirectly exposed him. See what happened
- 55:05Speaker 1: was my husband used to have a po box and
- 55:08Speaker 1: he closed it, but he forgot to forward his mail,
- 55:12Speaker 1: so it was piling up at the post office. Our
- 55:15Speaker 1: sweet mailman put all of his mail in a box
- 55:18Speaker 1: and he brought it to our house. He said he
- 55:21Speaker 1: figured my man, my husband would want all of his mail.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I went out, I sat out on our front porch
- 55:28Speaker 1: in my robe and slowly opened each envelope. The Maryland
- 55:32Speaker 1: woman had sent a Christmas card to my husband saying
- 55:35Speaker 1: she couldn't wait for him to jingle her bells. She
- 55:37Speaker 1: sent another card with a picture of her and a
- 55:40Speaker 1: dog on it. There was a credit card statement with
- 55:43Speaker 1: charges made only in Maryland, and there was a cell
- 55:46Speaker 1: phone bill, so I guess he has another phone. He
- 55:50Speaker 1: swears he's not seeing her anymore. Should I believe him?
- 55:54Speaker 1: Or should I go to Maryland with him next time?
- 55:57Speaker 1: Can he be trusted? I love the mailman for doing this,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but my husband wants him fired. Okay, here's a question.
- 56:07Speaker 1: If your husband's not guilty of anything, if he stopped
- 56:11Speaker 1: all of this, why does he want the mailman fired.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I mean, the mailman's job is to deliver mail, right,
- 56:17Speaker 1: and he did that, and now your husband wants him
- 56:20Speaker 1: out out of his job. You know that doesn't make sense.
- 56:25Speaker 1: It's not right no matter how you look at it.
- 56:28Speaker 1: You talked about trusting your intuition in the letter and
- 56:31Speaker 1: how it has never failed you. Well, why are you
- 56:33Speaker 1: doubting yourself now? Plus you've been through his cheating before,
- 56:36Speaker 1: so you already know the signs. Do not doubt yourself. No,
- 56:40Speaker 1: you shouldn't believe him. He's blaming the mailman for bringing
- 56:44Speaker 1: you the mail again. That's the mailman's job. You know
- 56:47Speaker 1: what it is you said. He swears he's not seeing
- 56:49Speaker 1: her anymore anymore. That right there, to me says it all.
- 56:55Speaker 1: He's broken the trust again in your relationship. And if
- 56:58Speaker 1: you keep taking him back, keep cheating, because you're gonna
- 57:01Speaker 1: just take him back anyway. You even have credit card
- 57:04Speaker 1: and cell phone bill receipts. You have all the proof
- 57:06Speaker 1: you need.
- 57:07Speaker 5: Steve, I'm trying to figure out what the letter is about.
- 57:11Speaker 5: I'm trying to figure out what it's for. What advice
- 57:15Speaker 5: does she want from us? What does she need to
- 57:18Speaker 5: hear from us? I don't understand what the writing of
- 57:22Speaker 5: the letter is even about everything that you need to know.
- 57:26Speaker 5: You have the information I don't even understand. Okay, let's try.
- 57:35Speaker 5: You been married fourteen years ago. Your husband cheated on
- 57:39Speaker 5: you once you took him back, so now you say
- 57:43Speaker 5: headne got crazy, so he doing it again after you
- 57:48Speaker 5: got your marriage on track. After his affair, I hadn't
- 57:52Speaker 5: suspected anything else was going on until November. Now he
- 57:58Speaker 5: started going to bed early and getting up before I
- 58:01Speaker 5: got up, so.
- 58:02Speaker 2: We couldn't have sex.
- 58:06Speaker 5: Okay, all right, What then, my intuition told me to
- 58:12Speaker 5: keep an eye on him, and my intuition never fails me.
- 58:16Speaker 2: Okay, cool.
- 58:17Speaker 5: If your intuition told you to keep on him, and
- 58:19Speaker 5: your intuition never fails you, why are we typing this
- 58:25Speaker 5: damn level. I'm just not understanding because I don't even
- 58:29Speaker 5: have your intuition, and I'm already with you.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 58:37Speaker 5: My husband is cheating again and the woman lives in Maryland.
- 58:41Speaker 5: Now listen to this right here. They met in the
- 58:44Speaker 5: airport when he went to see his dad in October.
- 58:47Speaker 5: And how the hell do you know that this intuition
- 58:52Speaker 5: you got is this psychic, because how do you even
- 58:56Speaker 5: know that. I don't even know how you would know
- 58:59Speaker 5: that infamy. The only way you would know this information
- 59:04Speaker 5: is your husband would have had to have told you this,
- 59:10Speaker 5: unless somewhere in these letters you discovered this information.
- 59:17Speaker 2: They met in the airport on when he was going
- 59:21Speaker 2: to see his dad.
- 59:23Speaker 5: My husband is going to see his dad at least
- 59:25Speaker 5: six times since then because his dad has been in
- 59:28Speaker 5: and out of the hospital. Then he ain't went that
- 59:31Speaker 5: sixth time though, because his dad had been in and
- 59:33Speaker 5: at the hospital. You know, normal, if somebody sit, get
- 59:36Speaker 5: out the hospital, you go cool. You ain't got to
- 59:39Speaker 5: go see him.
- 59:41Speaker 2: He'd have been six times. Where they live? Where did
- 59:48Speaker 2: they live? Now?
- 59:52Speaker 5: If he live in the DMV, going over to Maryland
- 59:55Speaker 5: ain't nothing, But if he live in Georgia, that's a trip.
- 59:58Speaker 5: Now at this point in the that almost stop because
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: we're gonna come back now normally this juncture right here
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: when you're say the mail man brought it to the house,
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: and then the title of the letter is I.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Really love our male man. I'm thinking, as most male men,
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: that he been dropping off packages. Yeah, yeah, we'll find
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: out when we come back.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Steve, we'll have part two of
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Today's strawberry letter, subject I really love our mail man.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letter. The subject is I really love
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: our mailman.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Well, this letter is a deceptive letter. But she's got
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: a husband that's cheating on her. They've been married fourteen times.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: She took him back, but now she say he crazy
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: because he doing it again, and this time she hadn't
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: suspected anything until November, and he started waking up early
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: before she got out the bed, so they wouldn't have
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: sex in the morning. Okay, I don't know what that's about.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: And then she says, my tuition never fails me. My
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: intuition never fails me. And she thinks he cheating again
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: because she say, and the woman lives in Maryland and
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: they met in the airport when he went to see
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: his daddy in October. Now, how you know this information,
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: I don't know, But later on you tell us. I
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: guess you all want to know how I found all
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: this out and you damn skippy, we do because that
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: ain't no information. I would see him walking in the
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: house going, hey, baby, you know I met this find
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: sheick and the airport. I was going to see Daddy.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: You know, Daddy ass sicken out and I want to
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: see that. I was in the airport sitting there waiting on. Man,
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: you should have seen this thing. When she walked up.
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: I said, Lord, look at this gift from God. I'm
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: pretty sure he didn't say that. So anyway, Uh, well,
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: it was our male man that indirectly exposed him. See,
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: my husband should have a peel box and then he
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: closed it, but he forgot to forward his mail, so
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: it was piling up at the post office. Our sweet
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: mail man put all his mail in the box and
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: brought it.
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: To our house. I be damn once again.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: I can't believe little mister helpful and brought this mail
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: to my damn house. Well, he said, I figured the
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: husband want all his mail. Now here's the good part
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: about this. At least the male was sitting at the
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: post office and your husband never got the mail. You see,
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: so your husband may have the perfect out right here.
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: He may have the perfect out because, first of all
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: who still write letters?
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: When is it?
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: How old are these people? Who's still sending it Christmas card?
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: All this can be done on a computer.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Now physical Christmas cards they do.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Old people, young people.
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: Wrest a button and you open it up and as
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: Mary Christmas with explosions and all this help. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: he got a pill box and she still mailing letters.
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Do you know how old these people got to go?
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: Because the lady said, we got our marriage back on
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: track after the affair, and I had suspected anything else.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Going on, She said, must be losing Mirrid. She was
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: somewhere in here, she said.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: She come on because at the stage of our lives,
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: at this stage of our lives, it's got to be
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: a late stage. Because who the hell is mailing letters
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: in November twenty twenty three?
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Who who?
- 1:03:37Speaker 5: I'm the oldest person on this show. And guess what,
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: I ain't wrote a letter and I don't know damn when.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: So anyway, anyway, the Maryland woman has sent a Christmas
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: card to my husband saying she couldn't wait for him
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: to jingle her beils. She sent another card with a
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: picture of her and her dog on it. That was
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: a credit card statement with charges made only in Maryland,
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: and that was his cell phone bill, so I guess
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: he got another phone. He swears he's not seeing her anymore.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: Should I believe him? Or should I go to Maryland
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: with him next time? Can he be trusted? I love
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: the mail man for doing this, but my husband wants
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: him fire. Well, let me straighten out on a couple
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: of things, right. First of all, if the husband has
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: not seen these letters, it could be because.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: He don't care. He doesn't care, He don't care.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: And maybe she was sending the letters in hopes of
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: getting him. Took care because I can't wait for you
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: to jingle my bell hoos. He's a picture of me
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: and the doll. But he'd have left that mail sitting
- 1:04:40Speaker 5: down there at the mailbox. He is more than unconcerned
- 1:04:44Speaker 5: about these letters because they've been piling up for a while,
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: which I think is his perfect out to justify the
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: statement he's not seeing her anymore because he left them
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: letters down there, and all you.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: Got is them letters. Now that credit card bill and
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: that that phone bill hit where you need to do?
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: You need to find this?
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: You say you guess is a cell phone because you
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: saw a bill where sat where sat and if he
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: ain't been down there, and while he ain't got that bill,
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: he ain't paid it. That cell phone ain't on no more.
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: You can't not pay your cell phone bill. They cut
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: that thing off. So I think, based on this letter
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: right here, then he's clear. At least he has.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: An alibi to go with, and which is all I
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: can say.
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: He ain't been down there, He don't care about him,
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: He don't check the mail, he ain't paid his cell
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: phone bill, he ain't seen this woman here. No communication
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: with this woman. Where is the fact? Where where do
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: you see them communicating?
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: That?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Him and the lady? Well, when he how about when
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: he went down there six times to visit his dat
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you yourself?
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: He was seeing hood in, he was seeing her in,
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: but he said, I'm not seeing her anymore, he said that,
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: And letting that mail sit down there and not paying
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: that cell phone bill is a good sign that he not.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: But he has seen her six.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Times, at least make his dad once.
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: Well he saw his dad here every time, because that
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: would be the alibi. Did you see your son?
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: He did?
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Left you right all right? Leave your comments on today's

- 1:07:25Speaker 5: of their head and everything. A bunch of pimps. The
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: capital noops is pimps.
- 1:07:37Speaker 10: Here we go, man, Pipping is playoff man, wild card weekend.

- 1:07:53Speaker 10: Okay, oh man, all right, here we go, pipping up
- 1:07:59Speaker 10: with the truth.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Yeah, stealers versus Bills.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: No, they can't do it. I love Tomlin, I really
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: really do. But the Bills is this is the Bills year.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Baby, Here we go, Pipping Rams versus Lions.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Oh man, Man, as much as I love Detroit, I
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: got to pick them. Damn Detroit Lions. Gosh too, but
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: prepare yourself. But it is purely my love of Detroit. Yeah,
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: but I'm scared of them.
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: All right, here we go, man. They had a hard
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: second half of the season. Man, the Eagles versus Buccaneers. Man,
- 1:08:41Speaker 10: they on the road. Man going to Tampa Bay.
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: She ain't no down about it. Got rough in the
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: back side of the year. But they find whoop they head.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Show up.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Packers versus Cowboys, pipping man.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: You know what, I ain't gonna I ain't gonna say
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: nothing right now, but I think the cowboy finna win
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: this thing right here, okay, Yeah, just being real with you,
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: just being with you here it is, Oh here, come
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: on already. No you don't drum roll for the half
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: of the text and find the table. Oh girl, girl,
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: you finna get drummed and roll.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: That's what hit me, you know? Good hell will man?
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: I mean, welcome to the playoffs and all this.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: Congratulations to both of US Cleveland and Houston's congratulation. But
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: it can only be one winner, baby, and the Brown
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: is gonna win. Hey, y'all better hope to hell that
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: Houston win. See the Brown lude.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: I'm used to it, y'all. All right, Thank you, Junior,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Thank you. Something coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: A woman lost her husband, but she wants him back
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: after he's engaged to someone else, and she needs your advice.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: Steve right af to this. You're listening morning show. All right,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: this is from Steve. This is from Asia and Richmond
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: over three years ago. She says, I accused my husband
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: of cheating. I was angry and very mean to him.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: He maintained his innocence, but I did not want to
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: hear it. After sleeping on the couch and being ignored
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: for close to six months, he divorced me. He just
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: got engaged, and I have not been able to sleep
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: or eat because I never thought he would get a
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: new girlfriend so fast. I thought he would come to
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: his senses and beg me to take him back, but no,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: he's in love with someone else. I asked him to
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: meet up so we could talk. He turned me down
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: and said that he wanted to talk to me for
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: months before our marriage ended, but I was unbelievably mean
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: and shut him out. He said he never cheated and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I had it all wrong. Now that I've had time
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to put things into perspective, truly believe him. Is it
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: too late to tell him that I'm sorry before he
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: marries this other girl? He's my soulmate?
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Yeah? No, he's nothing. Yeah. Oh wait, what you're kidding?
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: He's not your soul mate. Yeah, you were convinced for
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: six months he was a lying, cheating dog. You ignored him,
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: You were incredibly mean to him, and he slept on
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: the couch for six months. He tried to talk to
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: you the entire time. You didn't believe it. Now listen
- 1:11:33Speaker 5: to me. I don't know what you think men are
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: made out of, but what you cannot do is accuse
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: of something we didn't do, make us pay for something
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: we didn't do, and then want to undo it. He gone,
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: he gone, he engaged, he gone, he gone.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: This is a rap.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: You can't get him, get him back. He don't want
- 1:11:52Speaker 5: you back. No, he don't want you, And you've come
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: to your senses now truly believe him.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: She ran him away huh she did, Yeah.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: You right and drove him right about the crele. Wow.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: Oh well, I don't feel sorry for neither. That's what
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: you have.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: She was wrong.
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: I don't feel sorry for you know, that's what you do.
- 1:12:21Speaker 7: And you know she.
- 1:12:25Speaker 2: Called what.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: Yeah, sometimes they get it wrong. All right, we do
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: have time for this one, Steve. This one's from Lacey
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: in Detroit. Lacy says, I'm in law school and my
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: boyfriend dropped out of law school to be a music
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: producer and manager. This is not what we had planned,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: so I'm getting frustrated with him and our relationship. I
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: want to be a writer, die type of chick. But
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: he's asking me to lie to his dad when we
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: go visit him this weekend. I told him I don't
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: want to see dad, and he told me that I
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: don't support his dreams and I don't believe in him.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: Am I supposed to be okay with lying to his
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: dad for him, Well, that's.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: Not supporting his dream. That's lying to his daddy. I
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: see you can't you can't get it twisted. That's not
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: supporting your dream. The woman don't want to lie to
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: your daddy. See, she don't want to be in that
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: part of it right here. You know they paying for
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: law school. You don't dropped out to be a producer
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: and a writer. I ain't wrote or produced a damn
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: thing ever. You know I'm gonna take you something. And
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: this is not a knock on hip hop, but hip
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: hop has made more millionaires than any other music genre
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: that I know of in my lifetime. I'll be the
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: first to admit that. And I was wrong about hip
- 1:13:52Speaker 5: hop a long time ago. I thought it wasn't gonna last.
- 1:13:55Speaker 5: How stupid was that? A statement?
- 1:13:56Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: Which proves that hip hop don't need me to exist.
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: But what hip hop has done, though, it has created
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: the delusion that since it's just rapping, that it's not singing,
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: where you really really had to have talent being able
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: to rhyme and talk. Got a lot of people think
- 1:14:15Speaker 5: that they talented and they ain't. All these little foods
- 1:14:20Speaker 5: need to do is just look at Scarface's tiny desk
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: and then go sit your ass down somewhere.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: This ain't what you do. Scarface showed you how it go.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: This ain't what you do.
- 1:14:33Speaker 5: Go sit your ass down somewhere. You ain't no music
- 1:14:36Speaker 5: producing writing all right?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Twenty minutes after the hour Crazy You're Listening Morning Show.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: So Monday Nights, Emmy Awards will be hosted by Anthony
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Anderson and it's the seventy fifth anniversary of the Emmys.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: To celebrate, right, the show is bringing the cast of
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: a few hit shows from the nineties on stage, Like
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: the cast of Martin will be in the building. Yes,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Martin Lawrence, Tsha Campbell to Sheena Arnold and Karl Anthony
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Payne all together on stage at the Emmys. How cool
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: is that?
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Yes? I love that the cast of Alan McBeal will
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: also be there, and a few other memorable casts will
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: be reunited at the Emmys. So, Steve, you had a
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: hit show in the late nineties, The Steve Harvey Show.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Of course, have the Emmys reached out to you?
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: Are you?
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: And said, and.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Levita alas A Jenkins.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: You know good hair? Well, they ain't reached out to it.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: They haven't. They should they should because you had a
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: great show.
- 1:15:59Speaker 9: We love.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: He sold on.
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: I didn't like none of the schedule. I don't like
- 1:16:06Speaker 5: the schedule to sitcom. There's too much damn work. There's
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: too many people. You got an answer to, You got
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: to answer to the production company, but the producers, the writers,
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: the production company, the studio and then the network.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: There's too many damn readings for me.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, think about a reunion. We love
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: the show. Think about it all right. Coming up at
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show and we'll play around it.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Would you rather right after this you're listening.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Morning show?
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Would you rather curse one particular person out today, one
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: particular one, or would you rather pray for that person?
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: Wow? What are we doing?
- 1:16:56Speaker 12: Huh?
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: I'm gonna yeah, you know what I'm ana pray do?
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: No, no, no, not in this lifetime.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: You don't get moved over to the praier list.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: You don't switch side.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: No Lord.
- 1:17:21Speaker 5: If you are a cuss out, this probably very rarely
- 1:17:24Speaker 5: do you get moved over to the prayer list.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: You can't have a change of heart, Steve.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, let me put it to you like this.
- 1:17:31Speaker 5: If you want to cuss out this, the only way
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: I pray for you is if you get moved over
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: to the sick and shuddy end.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: You gotta damn there on your way out. Okay, just
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: keeping it one.
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Would you rather be would you rather be cross eye
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: or would you rather only be able to see straight ahead?
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: So you got your cross side or you either see
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: just straight ahead.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: I get me straight ahead. I turned my head. I
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: turned my head. But I'm not finna be cock.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: But you can only see straight ahead. Now you can't
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: see to the side and none.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: I can turn my head, you can turn to the
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: sign turn. I got good ass peripheral anyway.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: I tell you that the cross eylan across the across
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the house. All right, nephew told me, all right, would
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: you would you.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: Rather black people got nicknames for you when you can't
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: see good? Yes, it's like like we had this parton
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: in my school. He was cross eye. We should call
- 1:18:46Speaker 5: him walleye Wallet. Yeah, because one of his eyes was
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: always looking at the wall.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: All right, Would you rather sleep close to your wife
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: in a queen bed or would you rather spread out
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: in a king bed, spread.
- 1:19:06Speaker 2: Out, spread out behind over?
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: Yeah, it don't matter, it don't matter. Sure I could
- 1:19:11Speaker 10: be able to admentro shes gonna be right up under it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 10: It don't matter what I mean, you know, Yeah, that's
- 1:19:17Speaker 10: gonna stop, that's gonna.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I've been looking at the flow. I've been looking at it.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: You're gonna get some relief real, so don't worry. Don't
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: even worry about that.
- 1:19:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: See, we know you're in the Queen and King bed
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: just because of your size.
- 1:19:34Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: You can't handle a queen bed, right, it's too small.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: What you're saying, Tommy, ain't got no queen I got it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: I don't know what she's trying to say.
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: I don't know what.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: King beat. That's all I heard. You want you to know, Tommy,
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: I didn't say it.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: All right, that's today's round, Hey, guys. Coming up in
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour, we'll have some closing
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: last break of the day on this Friday, we gotta
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: say Happy Founder's Day because tomorrow, January.
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: Thirt we're gonna do that ourself. You're not Greek, No,
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: I'm not. We were going to do that ourself. Now,
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: you don't tell me about it on the break and
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: then jump in and do it. You just told me
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: on the break. You said, Steve, we got to say
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: happy found this day. I said, Okay, who is it?
- 1:20:34Speaker 5: You said, it's the Deltas. I said, fine, Yeah, my
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: daughters is Delta's Mississippi Monica is a Delta.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: And then let us do it. Should do it? Have
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: at it, Joe. I just me And surely sometimes sometimes.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: You just don's you. That's not me, that is you.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: You the one to.
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: The shout out to the Delta del the Happy Founders Day. Yeah,
- 1:21:10Speaker 5: what's the colors? Monica is not red and white.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Crimson and cream cream is what she's saying. That's the
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: same color anyway, Happy Founders Day.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Oh that was exciting, Thank you, Steve.
- 1:21:30Speaker 5: It's happy found, Happy found his state of Brandy Carley Morgan, Mississippi,
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: Monica and my daughters of Deltas.
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: The Deltas out there listening, Happy found this day.
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: But they damn daddy though, m Oh, that's what you'rena
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: make this they found this day. Yeah, No, I was
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: just saying. I didn't say nothing. I just said, but
- 1:21:59Speaker 5: they damn daddy since we're talking about founding Delta though. Okay,
- 1:22:07Speaker 5: look who coming to the defense of the Deltas. The
- 1:22:09Speaker 5: dude that's got the same colors as.
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: They can.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Attitude you have, my bad.
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: It's called Greek love. Sureley.
- 1:22:24Speaker 5: So I was talking about yesterday in my clothesing remarks
- 1:22:28Speaker 5: about distractions and how it can be a detriment to
- 1:22:33Speaker 5: your rise to the top. And I said I'd have
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: part too, because I had so much more to say.
- 1:22:40Speaker 5: But I guess why I left off at I was
- 1:22:42Speaker 5: in a pretty cool place. But let me just add
- 1:22:45Speaker 5: a couple of things. Man, when people, when the devil
- 1:22:50Speaker 5: is throwing opposition at your dreams, your visions, your goals,
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: when he's throwing opposition, he's very tricky. He tries to
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: you the thing that's dearest to you and closest to
- 1:23:02Speaker 5: you as the tool of distraction. And like I was
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: saying yesterday, one of the biggest tools that the devil
- 1:23:10Speaker 5: will use enhance his imps who are working for him.
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: And you all know some of the Devil's imps that
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: work for him. We all have people that we've known
- 1:23:19Speaker 5: in our life around us that seem to be on
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: full time, twenty four hour call for bs, twenty four
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: hour call for garbage and trash. Have you ever had
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: a person in your life that always brought you bad news?
- 1:23:35Speaker 5: I mean, man, you could be going along. Yeah, I'm
- 1:23:38Speaker 5: calling you to see if you Okay, Yeah, I'm good though. Well,
- 1:23:43Speaker 5: you know, I was just wondering how you felt about
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: what all they said. Well, damn, I was actually going
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: along pretty good today and hadn't even really given any
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: thought to what anybody was saying. But now you on
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: the phone with it. You've got to be conscious of
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: you like that. If there's a person who is constantly
- 1:24:04Speaker 5: bringing you bad news, that person.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: Is a distraction. You need to eliminate this distraction.
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: If you have a person in your aura, in your
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: space that is not behind you and for you one
- 1:24:18Speaker 5: hundred percent, they don't need to occupy your space. I'm
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: telling you, man, if you got people in your life,
- 1:24:24Speaker 5: that's cool over here, but they ain't cool over here.
- 1:24:27Speaker 5: You can bring them in this situation, but you got
- 1:24:29Speaker 5: to keep them out of that situation. That's too much work.
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: That's too much work. I only have a few friends.
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: I God willing on my next birthday will be sixty
- 1:24:42Speaker 5: seven years old. Flies hell. Now I do understand that
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: I'm really really that, I'm really that dude. That's how
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: I feel about myself. Now, you ain't got to feel
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: that way. But the Bible says a man is as
- 1:24:56Speaker 5: he thinking. That's what I think. So guess what I'm assuming.
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: That's what I am. That's why I say it. But
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: I have decided in this sixty seven years almost I
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: only have a handful of friends. People say, man, you've
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: been living all this long and all you got is
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: a few friends. Well, when you really shake the tree out,
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: you'd be surprised who fall out that thing if the
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: tree just starts shaking, if the wind blow hard. I
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: judge my friends by moments of a severe trial and tribulation.
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: I don't pick my friends and moments of comfort and convenience.
- 1:25:35Speaker 5: I don't pick friends because they're good when the sun shining.
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: I pick my friends in the thunderstorm. I pick my
- 1:25:42Speaker 5: friends in the blizzard. I pick my friends when the
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: tidal wave come along, because when they come along, if
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: they don't run, and when it all get.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Finished, they steal. There.
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: That's who my friends are. And if you start doing
- 1:25:55Speaker 5: like that, you'll find out you have very, very few.
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: It's amazing me. Sometimes I listen to my kids. I
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: got a lot of friends. I'll be telling them all
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: the time, no, you don't. Well, they starting to learn
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: it now, They starting to learn it now. But listen
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: to me, surround yourself with positive people. Stop stop letting
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: people bring stuff to you that's not beneficial. Stop allowing
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: people to bring up your past to remind you of
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: what you were. I am not that person anymore. I'm gone.
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: As a matter of fact, you are now gone by
- 1:26:33Speaker 5: seeing wouldn't want to be you.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: That's all. That was my closing remarks. That's part two.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: I feel good about it. God.
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: Well, hey, listen, y'all have a great weekend. Okay, take
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: care of yourself. I talk to y'all, God willing on
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: Monday morning.
