- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it Steve has listening to move together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please don't join by joining you doing me? Hon, You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta uta turn hur you gotta turn to turn them
- 1:41Speaker 1: outn got to turn out. Then turn the water the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your thing. Huh. I shall
- 2:03Speaker 1: will a good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on, come on, y'all dig me now. One and
- 2:10Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show man. Is God
- 2:14Speaker 1: good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah, he is? And and I
- 2:18Speaker 1: can only attribute it to one thing. It's just been
- 2:21Speaker 1: a turnaround in my life. It's it's been me finally
- 2:26Speaker 1: making a decision to see what all God has from me,
- 2:29Speaker 1: but at the same time trying to be more God
- 2:32Speaker 1: wants me to be instead of more of what I
- 2:34Speaker 1: want to be. That's the trade off. You know, you
- 2:36Speaker 1: gotta do something now, you know you know you want
- 2:38Speaker 1: God's blessings, You gotta be willing to do something on
- 2:41Speaker 1: his behalf. Now I'm not saying I got it right
- 2:45Speaker 1: right now, because I'm just being real with you, I
- 2:49Speaker 1: don't I don't have it all together by any stretch
- 2:52Speaker 1: of imagination. I'm trying to get better in several areas.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm praying about it. I'm working on it. But you know,
- 2:59Speaker 1: it's surprised and I've I've grown to accept the process.
- 3:04Speaker 1: But I'm improving in a lot of areas from day
- 3:06Speaker 1: to day. But I'll tell you what, man, my success
- 3:09Speaker 1: all is going on with me I can only attribute
- 3:12Speaker 1: to this turnaround. And the turnaround was simple. I turned
- 3:16Speaker 1: around and started looking at God. That was a simple move, man.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I just turned around and started looking at him, and
- 3:23Speaker 1: I was going, Okay, I get it. Now, you created me.
- 3:27Speaker 1: You're the creator. You have a purpose for me. I
- 3:31Speaker 1: understand that. Now. Now let me just walk in that
- 3:35Speaker 1: purpose and let me get to doing that purpose. Now,
- 3:39Speaker 1: my purpose and your purpose and their purpose and anybody's
- 3:42Speaker 1: perfect purpose could be different, and the way you go
- 3:46Speaker 1: about the purpose can be different. And that's the part
- 3:50Speaker 1: that I've really grown up to. I've opened up my
- 3:53Speaker 1: mind to understanding that everybody's different, nobody's quite the same,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and that is not my right or position to judge,
- 4:01Speaker 1: but to be of a forgiving spirit and understand and
- 4:05Speaker 1: forgive those as I ask God to forgive me. See
- 4:08Speaker 1: that's the key. That's the key, y'all. So when you
- 4:12Speaker 1: out here and you stuck on this unforgiveness, understand in
- 4:17Speaker 1: the large prayer as a segment that says, forgive us
- 4:21Speaker 1: our trust passes as we forgive those who trust pass
- 4:24Speaker 1: against us. There's another version says forgive us our debts
- 4:27Speaker 1: as we forgive our debt us. It's two different versions,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but either one it means the exact same thing. It
- 4:36Speaker 1: means simply this that you are asking God to forgive
- 4:40Speaker 1: yours like you forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes
- 4:46Speaker 1: as we forgive those who trust pass against us. When
- 4:48Speaker 1: I crossed the line with you, God handle me the
- 4:52Speaker 1: way I handle people when they cross the line with me.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You feel what I'm saying to you? See you understand that.
- 4:59Speaker 1: That's the breakdown of it. Best way I can give
- 5:01Speaker 1: it to you. Forgive us our trust passes as we
- 5:05Speaker 1: forgive those who trust pass against us. Forgive me God
- 5:09Speaker 1: for stepping over the line, like I forgive those that
- 5:12Speaker 1: step over the line on me. That's the hard part, man,
- 5:15Speaker 1: that's the part. Man, I've really been working on I've
- 5:18Speaker 1: been really trying to get that together, and so I've
- 5:21Speaker 1: learned forgiveness a lot better over the past five years
- 5:24Speaker 1: than I have before, and it's paid off. I can't
- 5:29Speaker 1: tell you how I was paid off, because now God's
- 5:33Speaker 1: mercy and grace is all over me, because I've learned
- 5:37Speaker 1: to become more graceful. Now. I ain't graceful like him,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I ain't merciful like him, but I've learned to become
- 5:46Speaker 1: more more graceful, more merciful, because man, I can't live
- 5:50Speaker 1: my life like that. I just got sick of me. Man,
- 5:53Speaker 1: you're mad at me now, I'm mad at you. You
- 5:56Speaker 1: hate on me, Now I'm gonna hate on you. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: ain't got time for that, man, I've got you. Look here,
- 6:01Speaker 1: you got somewhere to go. Hate take up time. It's
- 6:05Speaker 1: time consuming. Hating Trying to seek revenge, it's time consuming,
- 6:12Speaker 1: take up way too much of your time to seek
- 6:14Speaker 1: revenge when vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one. Vengeance
- 6:18Speaker 1: is mine, say if the lord it ain't yours. So
- 6:22Speaker 1: now when you go to seek it to take it out,
- 6:24Speaker 1: guess what you're doing. You're doing something now, man, Now
- 6:28Speaker 1: you off in the area that you've got no business
- 6:31Speaker 1: being in, and instead of steady climbing your leadder like
- 6:34Speaker 1: you're supposed to, you didn't take out time for vengeance
- 6:38Speaker 1: to hate. I'm a hater. I'm gonna be a blogger.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I'm a blog about so and so. When you're blogging
- 6:46Speaker 1: about somebody, and most of these people you don't even
- 6:49Speaker 1: know when you're blogging about somebody, what you're doing, what
- 6:53Speaker 1: you're hating. It takes time to hate. Man. I just decided, Man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I gotta take all my time and instead of have
- 7:03Speaker 1: doing time and being active, I got to be proactive.
- 7:08Speaker 1: See some people get that confused, being active and being proactive.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Pro is positive. Pro means to move forward. You know,
- 7:18Speaker 1: if you put pro in front of most words, it's
- 7:20Speaker 1: a positive influence. You know, does the pros and the cons.
- 7:25Speaker 1: The pros is the good side, the cons is what
- 7:28Speaker 1: can go wrong the bad side. You know, if you're active,
- 7:32Speaker 1: that's one thing, But if you're pro active, you're going
- 7:34Speaker 1: forward in a positive direction. When you become a pro
- 7:39Speaker 1: that means you the best of the best at whatever
- 7:42Speaker 1: it is you chosen to be. I'm a pro. So
- 7:45Speaker 1: somehow and I know English teacher grammatical God. The word
- 7:51Speaker 1: pro a lot of times when you put it in
- 7:54Speaker 1: front of something means positiveness. So now a lot of
- 7:58Speaker 1: people think that if you as active, something all to happen. Well,
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm doing something, and that's what happens. Man, We just
- 8:05Speaker 1: find ourselves doing a lot of busy work that really
- 8:07Speaker 1: ain't bout nothing. It ain't going the way. It ain't
- 8:09Speaker 1: got no direction or no purpose because we haven't tried
- 8:12Speaker 1: to find out the direction or purpose. So you wake
- 8:15Speaker 1: up and you and your wheels are spinning. You a
- 8:18Speaker 1: hamster on a tread meal. You're running real fast, but
- 8:21Speaker 1: you're just going in the same spot. You understand that's
- 8:24Speaker 1: because you're just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Why don't you get God in your life. Why don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: you turn and face your creative and find out how
- 8:32Speaker 1: to become more proactive so you can do things to
- 8:36Speaker 1: move yourself forward. How you can get your life off
- 8:39Speaker 1: the ground and get off the tread meal and really
- 8:42Speaker 1: get it rolling in the direction that it need to
- 8:44Speaker 1: be going. Man, I'm telling you God can make that
- 8:48Speaker 1: change for you if he see you making the change
- 8:51Speaker 1: for him. See the whole key man, the whole kids.
- 8:55Speaker 1: You got to be willing to do something. You got
- 8:58Speaker 1: to give God something to black. Bless me God. And
- 9:02Speaker 1: then you go sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay,
- 9:05Speaker 1: bless me God with what? What? What? What are you
- 9:09Speaker 1: working with? He can't have the people hire you if
- 9:12Speaker 1: you ain't put the app in. Come on, man, the
- 9:15Speaker 1: blessing comes when you make a proactive step, when you
- 9:19Speaker 1: try to do something on the positive side. Look, man,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna quit messing around with all these people. I'm
- 9:25Speaker 1: gonna start going home. I'm gonna leave these women loan
- 9:27Speaker 1: out here. You got to say, all right, man, I
- 9:30Speaker 1: ain't going over that at night. I just ain't gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: get Then God can work with you. God help me
- 9:36Speaker 1: stop seeing all these women. But you steady going over
- 9:39Speaker 1: there calling them setting up stuff. Can't nobody help you
- 9:44Speaker 1: because once you get over there, you already know. See,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you gotta get proactive. You gotta do something yourself. You
- 9:51Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. That that's the key man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: So come on, y'all, you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen
- 10:02Speaker 1: might have your attention. Please. This is a throwback, a
- 10:08Speaker 1: remake at the same time. This is morning Time reminiscent
- 10:17Speaker 1: of Prime Time. Wow, this is my heart, reminiscent of CNN.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm going somewhere with this. Stay with me. The head
- 10:29Speaker 1: of the show on Prime Time is christ The head
- 10:35Speaker 1: of this head is Steve Harvey. But in the words
- 10:40Speaker 1: of Chris Quotemo, just to piss off Jay Anthony Brown,
- 10:45Speaker 1: let's get after there. Oh but you make me so
- 10:47Speaker 1: happy when you say it. I love it, I love it.
- 10:55Speaker 1: How about how about unpack it? Oh yeah, he said,
- 11:02Speaker 1: let's let's unpack it. I love Chris and I love
- 11:10Speaker 1: the little back and forth that they do with each
- 11:12Speaker 1: other on TV. Good morning everybody, Shirley Stray, Good morning,
- 11:16Speaker 1: Colin Farrell, what's happening? And Jay Anthony Brown, let's get
- 11:21Speaker 1: after it. We don't want to here this morning, everybody else.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You know, Junior got a little little career. He went
- 11:26Speaker 1: on down there, Tommy, old ass having a birthday, sending
- 11:31Speaker 1: pictures in everything we got to look at, you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: him in the swimming pool with his wife on his back,
- 11:39Speaker 1: having a great time. That's yeah, that's wild. You're in
- 11:43Speaker 1: a public swimming pool with your wife on your back.
- 11:46Speaker 1: That's why. So Tommy wilding, happy birthday, dog drinking Stephen.
- 11:52Speaker 1: You say, hey baby, let's do this, Let's get after
- 11:57Speaker 1: a baby. Let's take a picture. He should have edited them.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Other people picture make it look like he and his
- 12:07Speaker 1: wife just wilding in the pool. We got to share
- 12:11Speaker 1: the picture because everybody listening gonna want to see that. Everybody. Yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: he took a picture of stomach down in the water.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Nobody even thought of that. But no, you know, you
- 12:30Speaker 1: know I look for that. Well, what's the cut off
- 12:32Speaker 1: age for putting your wife on your shoulder? What is it? No,
- 12:35Speaker 1: they ain't don't cut off? Cut off? Yeah, you can
- 12:38Speaker 1: do that on it into your fifties and oh, I'm
- 12:40Speaker 1: just if you can lift her, If you can lift her,
- 12:44Speaker 1: all wives can't be put on shoulder. But in the
- 12:47Speaker 1: water you're you're weighting different anyway. Some wives you can't
- 12:53Speaker 1: put on your shoulder. Did you ever put your wife
- 12:56Speaker 1: on your shoulder? A couple of me? Yeah, I just
- 13:03Speaker 1: thought i'd ask I was getting him on my bat Anyway.
- 13:08Speaker 1: That's a whole difference, is he is. That's Steve's friend.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Steve brought him on the show. I'm owning everybody. Good morning, Steve,
- 13:26Speaker 1: You're good. Oh man, I stay good. You had a

- 13:52Speaker 1: that go? It was really really good, great turnout, man,
- 13:56Speaker 1: Nice people were there, incredibly motivating. I want to thank
- 14:01Speaker 1: all the speakers that came out who shared their knowledge
- 14:05Speaker 1: with people, some really really sharp people at the conference
- 14:09Speaker 1: over the weekend. It was just great. Thank you all
- 14:12Speaker 1: for coming. It's an empowerment conference or where we talk
- 14:15Speaker 1: about I was a keynote speaker on Saturday, and uh,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you know, uh, motivational seminars basically what it is. But
- 14:24Speaker 1: it teaches you everything from business practices, social media, entrepreneurship, banking, finance,
- 14:32Speaker 1: every aspect of business. You know, marketing, branding, everything about
- 14:37Speaker 1: bosses that's good information, everything about yourself everything you know, motivation.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's just a really really great thing. So it was great.
- 14:48Speaker 1: My Vault conference was very very successful. Thank everybody that
- 14:51Speaker 1: came out and be looking, because next year I'm gonna
- 14:53Speaker 1: change it. It's gonna be bigger and I'm gonna move
- 14:56Speaker 1: it to the East coast. Oh wow, Okay, all right,
- 15:01Speaker 1: what's gonna what's gonna be in the vault? But you
- 15:05Speaker 1: may be in it by the hid and actual vault
- 15:11Speaker 1: next year. Yeah. See why why do we not miss
- 15:14Speaker 1: Tommy at this point? Now? Now, Steve, I do want
- 15:17Speaker 1: to ask you, is that a play on words like
- 15:19Speaker 1: jump was now you? Is that? No? Not necessarily vault
- 15:24Speaker 1: to vault over something, unlock the vault. It's just what
- 15:28Speaker 1: it is. Involved everybody, because it's over. Okay, well, congratulations,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm glad it was a success. Yeah, it's glad it
- 15:35Speaker 1: was your success. Yeah. Yeah. How are you doing old
- 15:38Speaker 1: as Jay? I'm doing good old ass Steve. Anyway, man,
- 15:42Speaker 1: you know what, man, I discovered a good thing to
- 15:43Speaker 1: be old? Oh it is it is. If you ain't,
- 15:47Speaker 1: if you don't get old, it's over. Yeah you're not
- 15:51Speaker 1: a young person that. Oh they don't get it. They
- 15:55Speaker 1: don't get it at all. I heard a young person
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm get no, I'm twenty five. I wanted to slap
- 16:02Speaker 1: the dog mass Yeah twenty five. Man, you haven't even
- 16:08Speaker 1: scratched the sounds. You really haven't been sort of different man. Yeah,
- 16:14Speaker 1: but but at that age we understand because we were
- 16:16Speaker 1: we've all been twenty five. You think you dog everything,
- 16:19Speaker 1: you think you know it all at that age, well,
- 16:21Speaker 1: you know you've lived the quarter of a century. Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 1: But when you've lived twenty five years and that's been
- 16:28Speaker 1: your history, that's a long time for you. Absolutely. Man,
- 16:32Speaker 1: you think, oh man, I've been here. I'm twenty five,
- 16:34Speaker 1: I've been here twenty five. Yeah, yeah, nah man. I
- 16:39Speaker 1: had a man on my show one hundred and three
- 16:43Speaker 1: sitting up there just talking. I said, yeah, I said, man, yeah, man,
- 16:47Speaker 1: you might, he wrote, partner really did? He looked good?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Oh man, you know slim? You know you? I mean
- 16:54Speaker 1: you can't be fat now? Yeah? He was trim? You know, yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 1: you can't. One four. I don't know. I have no idea.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I have no idea, don't even think I want to
- 17:09Speaker 1: live a long time. But I want to be a
- 17:11Speaker 1: problem to my kids, So I still want to be here.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I'm a problem, you know. Late somebody gotta go check
- 17:17Speaker 1: on daddy. Really, why I pay them back? You know
- 17:27Speaker 1: when it had a discussion, you change it, No, you
- 17:29Speaker 1: change you change. I changed him last time. I changed me. No.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I don't want to No. Yeah, just if you can
- 17:45Speaker 1: afford to have a nurse come in, is that what
- 17:47Speaker 1: you want to you just want to do it yourself? No,
- 17:49Speaker 1: I want no, I want myself. I don't want no nurse. No,
- 17:54Speaker 1: go to bathroom, none of that. God got it? Oh okay,
- 18:00Speaker 1: all right, well Carlo Howard yours come on, very very good.
- 18:05Speaker 1: My daughter Tasha, she was a finalist you guys and
- 18:08Speaker 1: a song competition, a songwriting scholarship competition. Wow, she writes songs.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Ye did you stop all that hot? We can hear
- 18:20Speaker 1: what the woman? I'm so excited I did, I actually
- 18:26Speaker 1: did so Yeah she's actually yeah, I know you can't Jay.
- 18:35Speaker 1: She's good at writing poetry and class. So she entered
- 18:39Speaker 1: her music teacher entered her in this contest and she
- 18:43Speaker 1: was a finalist. Guy on stage and wrote a song
- 18:46Speaker 1: about stopping violence in school and spreading love and not hate.

- 20:43Speaker 1: praises right now. We'll talk about that, yes, and then
- 20:46Speaker 1: Kevin Kanye named their new sons. Talk about that, but first,
- 20:50Speaker 1: Arnold Schwarzenegger says there is nothing to worry about after
- 20:54Speaker 1: a man drop kicked him in the back at his
- 20:57Speaker 1: Arnold Classic Africa Sports festival in your Hinnesburg, South Africa.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Video of the incident shows h Arnold meeting with fans
- 21:05Speaker 1: while an event while an event is going on in
- 21:08Speaker 1: the backyard. As he starts taking a picture with someone,
- 21:12Speaker 1: a man is seen sprinting toward the former bodybuilder and
- 21:16Speaker 1: then jumping and kicking Swarzenegger in the back. Security quickly
- 21:20Speaker 1: held him down as he was escorted out of the building.
- 21:23Speaker 1: While the drop kicker was getting dragged away, he could
- 21:26Speaker 1: be heard screaming, help me. I need a Lamborghini about
- 21:30Speaker 1: four times. What. Yeah, that's how you get it. Yeah,
- 21:36Speaker 1: huh yeah, kick swarsinga get in the back, get a Lamborghini.
- 21:40Speaker 1: You bought a ignorant Yeah, the former governor of California.
- 21:43Speaker 1: What But it just goes to show you how craziness
- 21:50Speaker 1: can happen. I mean, you're just standing up trying to
- 21:52Speaker 1: do some good. Yeah, it's just everywhere. It is everywhere.
- 21:57Speaker 1: People are not taking their mad say you know, they're
- 22:00Speaker 1: doing other things. It's like, come on, there's so much
- 22:02Speaker 1: crazy stuff happening in the world right now, and people
- 22:05Speaker 1: for some reason think they have a license now to
- 22:08Speaker 1: do whatever they want to do and say whatever they
- 22:11Speaker 1: want to do, attack you, stock you, whatever the situation,
- 22:15Speaker 1: you know, just to walk up to someone and drop

- 26:15Speaker 1: new red one. French. You're scared. You know, he's a
- 26:18Speaker 1: former bodybuilder. Oh, I was not scared because I knew
- 26:21Speaker 1: that the other man was going through with my ass.
- 26:24Speaker 1: What is the ass whooping for a Lamborghini? Yeah, nothing
- 26:32Speaker 1: helped me. I need a Lamborghini. Kick him in the back,
- 26:37Speaker 1: in the back, the dumbest thing ever, though, But I

- 26:49Speaker 1: It's true, God, it is it is man. Yeah, I know.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Well yeah, okay, Well, we're also gonna talk about coming
- 27:01Speaker 1: up in entertainment news Halle Berry. Wait till you guys
- 27:03Speaker 1: hear what she did. It's going to make you love
- 27:05Speaker 1: her even more. Too bad. Tommy's off today? Oh John
- 27:09Speaker 1: Wick three, I can't wait. I've seen all of them.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Did she did? She? She's fighter and John Oh my god, Steve,
- 27:17Speaker 1: she's kicking major behind in the movie. Have you seen
- 27:19Speaker 1: the John Wick franchise? Tea? Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's good.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Piano Reeves is you know? You know they killed it,
- 27:27Speaker 1: doll Bright that set them off. The wife was one thing. Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 1: but I know when you knew how they really feel
- 27:40Speaker 1: about Dough, I liked one better than two. So I
- 27:44Speaker 1: can't wait to see three. We three is really did good?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Did you watch you see all the movie? You just
- 27:50Speaker 1: have to? And why do you have to have the movies?
- 27:58Speaker 1: Have you always watched the movie? Yes, I always love movies.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I'm gonna write one one day, so I let them
- 28:05Speaker 1: watch him. That's when you go write the same thing, Steve,
- 28:10Speaker 1: when you in your sixties, to hear you writing, I
- 28:13Speaker 1: don't know, Dan, Carla's daughter is writing songs. Okay, she's
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'm writing a song. I wrote to Dan. We'll write
- 28:22Speaker 1: the movie. Man, what you stop procrastinating? Okay, damn dog.
- 28:26Speaker 1: You wrote the Chapmans movies like the Chapmans don't do it? Yeah,
- 28:31Speaker 1: because they stop coming up at the top of the
- 28:34Speaker 1: hour Entertainment News right after this, you're listening Steve Show.
- 28:42Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's get after it. Jay in Today's
- 28:46Speaker 1: just say that. But I love it though. In today's
- 28:51Speaker 1: Entertainment News, Halle Barry is receiving so many praises right now,
- 28:56Speaker 1: not just for starting in the number one movie over
- 28:58Speaker 1: the weekend, John Wick three. But check this out, Okay.
- 29:02Speaker 1: She refused to skip two interviews with a pair of
- 29:06Speaker 1: black journalists on the red carpet. Okay, I love the story.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Emerald Marie, the reporter from Where Is the Buzz TV,
- 29:15Speaker 1: was one of just two black journalists who were sent
- 29:18Speaker 1: to the premiere of John Wick Chapter three Parabellum. Hallie's
- 29:22Speaker 1: publicists quickly cut off her interviews because you know, they
- 29:25Speaker 1: go down the line and usually the black journalists are
- 29:29Speaker 1: at the end, so right before they get to them,
- 29:32Speaker 1: then they say, oh, you know, she has a go,
- 29:33Speaker 1: she has to go, she has to go. They do
- 29:35Speaker 1: that a lot anyway. Instead of walking away, Hallie Berry
- 29:39Speaker 1: made the decision to turn around and speak with Emerald
- 29:42Speaker 1: and the other black male journalists. Lamar Dawson. I love
- 29:46Speaker 1: that we have their names, Hallie said. I love Hallie Berry.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I can't skip my brother and sister. Go Hallie, that's
- 29:54Speaker 1: really good. Go Hallie. I mean those civil words. What
- 29:58Speaker 1: they do is Russia them along a lot of times.
- 30:01Speaker 1: What they do is they just picked you, and they
- 30:04Speaker 1: pick the big ones. Yeah yeah, yeah, you know you're
- 30:07Speaker 1: gonna talk to E You're gonna talk to CNN. Okay,
- 30:11Speaker 1: you know you're gonna talk to the big one, right
- 30:14Speaker 1: right right, And anybody that's not an established they keep
- 30:18Speaker 1: and they do that to try to keep it moving along.
- 30:22Speaker 1: But that's a good practice because I always make it
- 30:25Speaker 1: a point myself. I think what she did is outstanding,
- 30:28Speaker 1: outstanding because it's the only way that they get a
- 30:31Speaker 1: chance to come up. So yeah, bravo to halle Berry
- 30:35Speaker 1: for doing that. That's that's really, that's that speaks volume. Yep,
- 30:39Speaker 1: I can't skip my brother and sister, said halle Berry. Um. Oftentimes,
- 30:43Speaker 1: like we're talking about now, Steve Black, reporters on the
- 30:46Speaker 1: red carpet are placed at the end usually and sometimes
- 30:49Speaker 1: they don't get those big celebrity interviews because right before
- 30:52Speaker 1: they get to them, they race them off. You know,
- 30:55Speaker 1: we gotta go. Sorry, our time is up, we gotta go.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So Hallie made sure that that was not the case
- 31:01Speaker 1: this time. We love you, halle Berry, thank you for
- 31:05Speaker 1: doing that. In other entertainment news, North Saint Chicago, and
- 31:11Speaker 1: now Kim and Kanye have named their new baby boy Psalm.
- 31:17Speaker 1: Like the scripture, I hope you go to school with
- 31:20Speaker 1: some jokes because something gonna happen when Yeah, you ain't
- 31:26Speaker 1: got a whole, but I'm just thinking, I'm thinking you
- 31:31Speaker 1: wrote some bad ones. We all have wrote some bad ones.
- 31:35Speaker 1: It was just a pawn, but it wasn't. It wasn't
- 31:37Speaker 1: a joke, but I really held it in. I'm pounding
- 31:41Speaker 1: as a joke, and I was, but I was thinking
- 31:44Speaker 1: more than Chicago. You think more than you know. But anyway, yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: whatever they named their kids, I'm cool with you. Their
- 31:52Speaker 1: kids family feud. Name Jesus. And when I got out there,
- 31:56Speaker 1: I said, so your name is hay Sus. He said, no,
- 32:01Speaker 1: mister Harvests, actually Jesus. I said, well, I'm not gonna
- 32:04Speaker 1: call you Jesus. I just want to just let you
- 32:06Speaker 1: know that man they had they went to convert break
- 32:09Speaker 1: the executive. You said, mister Harvest, that's his name. I
- 32:13Speaker 1: don't give a care what it is. I'm not I'm
- 32:17Speaker 1: not calling this man Jesus. Wow. Yeah, nobody gets that
- 32:21Speaker 1: from me. Yeah, and I'm serious. I never called him
- 32:24Speaker 1: Jesus the whole day. I'm not calling Susy my man. Jay,
- 32:29Speaker 1: what's up? Okay? Yeah, but you're not fitting to beat Jesus.
- 32:33Speaker 1: All right, Steve, time for some headline who I've been
- 32:36Speaker 1: talking to all these years. Let's go you down here
- 32:40Speaker 1: trying to win twenty thousand. When they put you on
- 32:42Speaker 1: the end because you ain't that good a player, get
- 32:44Speaker 1: out of here. Man, did you hear me? Jes well,
- 32:51Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss a and tripped in. Okay, thank you,

- 33:36Speaker 1: My own view is that Justin Amash has reached a
- 33:39Speaker 1: different conclusion than I have. I respect him, I think
- 33:43Speaker 1: it's a courageous statement, but I believe that to make
- 33:46Speaker 1: a case for obstruction of justice. You just don't have
- 33:50Speaker 1: the elements that are evidenced to this document. President Trump
- 33:53Speaker 1: calls Congressman Amash a lightweight looking for publicity. Amosh is

- 41:45Speaker 1: to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. But
- 41:47Speaker 1: go home this evening and watch it. I tried to
- 41:51Speaker 1: tell the staff hell who doesn't listen to anything I
- 41:56Speaker 1: say that no matter how big Gang of Throne is today,
- 42:01Speaker 1: it will never top the damn Jefferson. We're moving all that, babe,
- 42:08Speaker 1: with all that world wide viewership and all that following

- 43:13Speaker 1: That's ferocious. When you hear that sound right there? Know
- 43:17Speaker 1: this what someone's ass is banning grace. Yes, that's the
- 43:23Speaker 1: same sound Junior made when he blew by timing in
- 43:30Speaker 1: the Farty Farty yard. That was terrific. Someone's ass is
- 43:46Speaker 1: banning your grace. You know how much I love animal sounds. Banging.
- 43:50Speaker 1: That's the sound of cooking. Know that? All right? Well,
- 43:59Speaker 1: let him coming up next. We're gonna switch gears here, uh,
- 44:03Speaker 1: and do a prank phone call coming up right after this.
- 44:07Speaker 1: You're listening to show coming up at the top of
- 44:11Speaker 1: the hour, right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry
- 44:14Speaker 1: letter for today. The subject locked up and didn't love.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but right now I think uncle is in
- 44:23Speaker 1: for neff with today today's prank phone call. What you
- 44:26Speaker 1: got unk? The way he ought to do it right here? Okay,
- 44:29Speaker 1: let's go. You didn't fall and you ain't getting no money.
- 44:36Speaker 1: How does he do it? Though? He doesn't do it? Huh.
- 44:42Speaker 1: You didn't fall and you ain't free to getting no money,
- 44:45Speaker 1: right right? And it's all aggressive with it, right, don't
- 44:47Speaker 1: just introduced it, damn. And that's how he ought to
- 44:51Speaker 1: do it right here. Look, Hill, you didn't fall and
- 44:55Speaker 1: you ain't getting no money. But that's not how he
- 44:58Speaker 1: doesn't run running, can't. I'm trying to reach a Glinda
- 45:04Speaker 1: and place. How you doing. My name is Brad. I'm
- 45:09Speaker 1: actually with the A and C Department Accidents and Conditions.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Wanted to give you a call and see how you're
- 45:15Speaker 1: doing this morning? Great? Great? Now, I am the uh
- 45:21Speaker 1: the Accident and Condition coordinated, the last person that it
- 45:24Speaker 1: goes to before actually issuing out of check, and just
- 45:27Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call and see how everything
- 45:29Speaker 1: is going going. Have you Have you been to the
- 45:31Speaker 1: doctor on your fall and just just wanted to do
- 45:34Speaker 1: a follow up with you and make sure everything is okay? Yeah,
- 45:40Speaker 1: have you needed to do any any rehabilitation work or
- 45:43Speaker 1: anything like that. This is just a random procedure of
- 45:46Speaker 1: all the notes that I have to write down, and
- 45:48Speaker 1: like I said, this is the final step of of
- 45:50Speaker 1: getting you out of check. Now, the last heard you
- 45:53Speaker 1: were offered two thousand dollars? Is that correct? If you
- 45:56Speaker 1: were there a supervised you would knew how if you
- 46:00Speaker 1: work there? Okay, Well, I'm just looking at the file
- 46:03Speaker 1: that I have. Man, I don't have everything they offer. Okay,
- 46:09Speaker 1: well listen, here's what we're doing. Um. I've also been
- 46:12Speaker 1: brought some other records is this the first time you've
- 46:15Speaker 1: actually had an incident like this? What is this the
- 46:20Speaker 1: first time you've had an incident of actually falling? Yeah? Time? Okay, Well, actually,
- 46:27Speaker 1: what we're doing, uh looking over the records here, I've
- 46:31Speaker 1: got some actual incidents that it seems like you've actually
- 46:34Speaker 1: fallen several times in other places. What I'm having to
- 46:38Speaker 1: do here, ma'am, is let you know that I am
- 46:41Speaker 1: not going to sign off on this at all. So
- 46:44Speaker 1: the money that has been offered to you, I am
- 46:46Speaker 1: no longer going to be Uh, I'm not going to
- 46:48Speaker 1: confirm this check to go out to you. I don't
- 46:51Speaker 1: think that there's anything wrong with you. I don't think
- 46:54Speaker 1: that you have a problem. I think that there's something
- 46:56Speaker 1: that you deliberately did in one of our stores. I
- 47:00Speaker 1: could care less about what you think what happened was
- 47:04Speaker 1: that was on the floor. I fail. I'm gonna they
- 47:07Speaker 1: don't have to pay for the claim either way. Go No,
- 47:10Speaker 1: we're not gonna actually, ma'am. What I'm gonna have to
- 47:12Speaker 1: do is get you to come down and sign uh
- 47:15Speaker 1: an agreement nowhere. Yes, I'm gonna need you to come
- 47:18Speaker 1: down and sign an agreement that you actually made this
- 47:21Speaker 1: whole thing up, and I need that in wrong, I'm
- 47:24Speaker 1: not coming nowhere. Look, man, I don't care if you
- 47:27Speaker 1: come down or I have to come down and haul
- 47:29Speaker 1: your ten because I'm not signing over a check to
- 47:31Speaker 1: you for somebody that deliberately laid down in the floor
- 47:34Speaker 1: and act like something was wrong with them. Good and
- 47:36Speaker 1: mine deliberately done it. How exactly it was? Witnesses, you
- 47:42Speaker 1: need to talk to them. I've spoken to every witness
- 47:45Speaker 1: and you know what, man, everyone witness because my friend
- 47:50Speaker 1: was there, you haven't spoken to her. There's a lot
- 47:52Speaker 1: of people that assume that you're lying. Well, I don't
- 47:55Speaker 1: care what they assume. Man, let me explain something. We
- 47:59Speaker 1: can take this thing further. I even have you on
- 48:01Speaker 1: video actually deliberately laying down in the middle of the
- 48:05Speaker 1: floor as if you have no No, I am not man.
- 48:10Speaker 1: We're not going to give you two thousand. We're not
- 48:12Speaker 1: going to give you two dollars. What's your name? My
- 48:15Speaker 1: name is Brad with the ANC department. Well, you want
- 48:18Speaker 1: to be him the job? Too much going on because
- 48:20Speaker 1: you're a fool. No, No, I'm not a fool. I
- 48:22Speaker 1: want to make sure that you understand. I want to
- 48:24Speaker 1: make sure that you understand. You understand that this is
- 48:29Speaker 1: not something that you can do or continue to do. Now.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I want to hear it out of your mouth. You
- 48:34Speaker 1: tell me, did you lay down on that floor deliberately?
- 48:36Speaker 1: If you you think I'm going to say here and
- 48:39Speaker 1: tell you I deliberately laid down in a floor? Am
- 48:44Speaker 1: I crazy? Am I crazy? For you sitting here and
- 48:46Speaker 1: tell me the tale that it as all? No, deliberately
- 48:52Speaker 1: laid down on that floor, and you're deliberately trying to
- 48:54Speaker 1: get two thousand dollars worth the money that does not
- 48:56Speaker 1: belong to you. What you just review the damn cake
- 48:59Speaker 1: dan Is and uh, you will see what happened. Would
- 49:02Speaker 1: you like for me to get authorities to come over,
- 49:04Speaker 1: ma'am and bring you in? Because what we who you
- 49:08Speaker 1: get get whether you want to get it. If I
- 49:11Speaker 1: need to send authorities down there, you you send them
- 49:15Speaker 1: over here. I'm scared of them either. I don't think
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. They're gonna bring you in and
- 49:21Speaker 1: you're gonna sign this form I have that deliberately laid
- 49:24Speaker 1: down on that floor. You a fool, the nerve of
- 49:27Speaker 1: you black people. I'm not coming in. I'm not signing nothing.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Now what Utah man, I don't know. I ain't ever
- 49:35Speaker 1: heard this, Utah man. Now, I want you to bring
- 49:38Speaker 1: your little narrow black behind in here so we can
- 49:40Speaker 1: get this stuff rectified. Is what I want done? Are
- 49:43Speaker 1: you crazy or dasa? You ain't your shopest tool and
- 49:47Speaker 1: the share. I tell you that I am not coming in.
- 49:50Speaker 1: I don't know what I would have to come in. Fuck.
- 49:53Speaker 1: I want you to sign a form that you deliberately
- 49:55Speaker 1: laid down on this floor and it was all fictitiously,
- 49:58Speaker 1: no wonderful, what I do something like that and then
- 50:01Speaker 1: go to jail. Why would you lay down in the
- 50:03Speaker 1: floor in the in the first place, and when you
- 50:05Speaker 1: knew nothing. I told you I didn't do that. Yes
- 50:08Speaker 1: she did, Yes she did. It's in front of you.
- 50:10Speaker 1: I can look at you in your eyes and tell
- 50:12Speaker 1: when you're lying. I'm told you. I told you what.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Hellen see it? That's all? Back? Hey? Can I say?
- 50:18Speaker 1: Let me say one more? Hello? Call her right back? Hello. Well,
- 50:25Speaker 1: I don't want to continue to go back and forth.
- 50:27Speaker 1: You look, look you're really pissed. Look I told you
- 50:31Speaker 1: what happened. I'm not going to keep on telling you
- 50:33Speaker 1: that I don't know why you keep calling me. Let
- 50:36Speaker 1: me speak to your damn supervis. Let me say, first
- 50:38Speaker 1: of all, man, First of all, I am the supervis.
- 50:41Speaker 1: This is what I want. I think we can get
- 50:42Speaker 1: this car. Look what I'm gonna come in time. That's
- 50:46Speaker 1: what I want you to if you come down and
- 50:47Speaker 1: sell it off together. You think I'm going to come
- 50:50Speaker 1: and sign some papers saying I laid on them flow,
- 50:54Speaker 1: It ain't. None of that true? Was on the floe?
- 50:57Speaker 1: I fail. That's it. That's all. Are you talking about?
- 51:01Speaker 1: Have you been drinking? Have you been drinking? Are you listen?
- 51:05Speaker 1: You've been drinking? I want rink? Got to doing anything?
- 51:07Speaker 1: When I do my own personal time? Is my bus drinking?
- 51:13Speaker 1: Don't keep calling me with that. Okay, I'm gonna say
- 51:16Speaker 1: one more thing. Still hurt? Are you talking like you
- 51:20Speaker 1: ain't gonna give me no money? You clay no time?
- 51:23Speaker 1: Gonna get some money? They should hate this blow. Then

- 53:50Speaker 1: and you won't talk anymore. Well, I mean it's cool.
- 53:53Speaker 1: That's why, that's why. And yeah, well yeah, and you
- 53:59Speaker 1: know why. But you're a team Tommy though. All right,
- 54:06Speaker 1: here we go, Steve. All right, subject locked up and
- 54:10Speaker 1: in love. Here Stephen Shirley. I am a thirty three
- 54:13Speaker 1: year old single female and for the past year or so,
- 54:17Speaker 1: I have been in a romance, having a romance with
- 54:20Speaker 1: an inmate that's been in prison for seventeen years. He's
- 54:24Speaker 1: my best friend's brother and he tried to date me
- 54:27Speaker 1: for many years and would write me letters, but I
- 54:29Speaker 1: just wasn't interested well. Last year, I had surgery and
- 54:33Speaker 1: I was out of commission for a while, and he
- 54:35Speaker 1: sent me the sweetest letters and cards. When his mother
- 54:39Speaker 1: found out about us, she told me he might be
- 54:42Speaker 1: exonerated because of some new evidence in the case. I
- 54:45Speaker 1: started having mixed feelings about him coming home. His mom
- 54:50Speaker 1: told me that I should really give him a chance
- 54:53Speaker 1: at romance if he is released. I've fallen in love
- 54:56Speaker 1: with him, and it's hard for me to believe it
- 54:59Speaker 1: and explain. I can't tell my family or my co
- 55:02Speaker 1: workers about him. I tell them that my man has
- 55:07Speaker 1: a demanding job and he travels a lot, so that
- 55:10Speaker 1: is why they haven't met him. They have noticed that
- 55:12Speaker 1: I am happier now and smiling whenever I mentioned this
- 55:16Speaker 1: guy to them, and I am honest with him about
- 55:18Speaker 1: my feelings toward his incarceration, and he gets very upset
- 55:22Speaker 1: when I told him. I am ashamed to tell the
- 55:24Speaker 1: people that I am closest to me about that are
- 55:28Speaker 1: closest to me about him. I am an accountant and
- 55:31Speaker 1: I have worked hard to secure a top position in
- 55:33Speaker 1: my company, and I don't want to be judged. And
- 55:37Speaker 1: there's also the possibility that he won't be released, so
- 55:41Speaker 1: I would have told everyone for nothing. So what do
- 55:44Speaker 1: you think, Stephen Shirley. Should I just put it out
- 55:47Speaker 1: there that I'm dating a man in prison and hopes
- 55:49Speaker 1: that my family will accept him as the man I love?
- 55:52Speaker 1: Or should I end it with him? Please advise? Well,
- 55:56Speaker 1: first of all, these are two extremes. Should you tell
- 56:00Speaker 1: your family or should you end it with him? Can
- 56:02Speaker 1: we meet somewhere in the middle. First of all, I
- 56:06Speaker 1: wouldn't tell anyone anything. Why First, you don't owe them
- 56:10Speaker 1: any explanation just yet. You don't even have all the facts.
- 56:14Speaker 1: His mom said there because of some new evidence in
- 56:17Speaker 1: the case, he might be exonerated. So that's not even
- 56:22Speaker 1: a possibility yet, it's just a mite at this point.
- 56:27Speaker 1: There's a possibility, you say later in the letter that
- 56:29Speaker 1: he won't be released. So you didn't even say what
- 56:33Speaker 1: he's been in for seventeen years for. You didn't share
- 56:37Speaker 1: that with us, So you know, that's kind of hard
- 56:40Speaker 1: for us to really make, you know, a sound decision.
- 56:43Speaker 1: What is he in there for? What is this new evidence?
- 56:46Speaker 1: There are a lot of things that are left out
- 56:47Speaker 1: of this letter. You've been dating him, or you've been
- 56:50Speaker 1: talking to him, not dating him. You've been talking to
- 56:53Speaker 1: him for just a little over a year. He's been
- 56:57Speaker 1: in there for seventeen years. So there's a lot that
- 57:00Speaker 1: needs to transpire before you know, you start taking this
- 57:04Speaker 1: relationship too seriously and to the next level. Wait to
- 57:07Speaker 1: see what's going to happen. Calm it on down again.
- 57:12Speaker 1: You know, you put in here for a reason. That
- 57:14Speaker 1: you have a very demanding job, that he has a
- 57:16Speaker 1: demanding job. But more than that, you have an important job,
- 57:22Speaker 1: and you've worked hard to secure a top position at
- 57:25Speaker 1: your company. You don't want to be judged. You have
- 57:27Speaker 1: to take all this into consideration. Okay, and again the
- 57:31Speaker 1: possibility that he won't be released. So I say, just
- 57:34Speaker 1: hold off and see what's going to happen with this situation.
- 57:39Speaker 1: You know, will he be exonerated and you and he
- 57:43Speaker 1: gets upset when you tell him things, so you know
- 57:46Speaker 1: it's still too early to tell. I just say, wait,
- 57:48Speaker 1: all right, That's what I say. Just wait, Steve, I'm
- 57:52Speaker 1: locked up and I'm in love. Now, locked up and
- 57:58Speaker 1: in love. Thirty three years old. You've been having this
- 58:03Speaker 1: romance with an inmate that's been in prison for seven
- 58:06Speaker 1: teen years. Your best friend's brother. He tried to date
- 58:11Speaker 1: you for a lot of years and would write me letters,
- 58:15Speaker 1: but I just wasn't interested. Now I'm assuming that you're
- 58:19Speaker 1: saying is that he's tried to date you from there
- 58:23Speaker 1: for a lot of years, because see, if he'd been
- 58:26Speaker 1: in jail seventeen years, you thirty three, I'm assuming he
- 58:33Speaker 1: went in when you was sixteen sixteen, he must have
- 58:40Speaker 1: went in when you were sixteen. Then you say he's
- 58:43Speaker 1: tried to date you for many years, that's why he'd
- 58:47Speaker 1: been in there, or he's sixteen two. I don't know,
- 58:52Speaker 1: but he'd started just had to start at sixteen for you. Well,
- 58:57Speaker 1: last year you had surgery and you was out of
- 58:59Speaker 1: commission for college. Well he sent me the sweetest letter
- 59:04Speaker 1: is in cause well he got time, he got time,
- 59:11Speaker 1: he got time to be sweet. Nah. I appreciate the
- 59:13Speaker 1: brother too. I ain't knocking it at all. Probably cheered
- 59:16Speaker 1: your made you feel somebody, probably did more for you
- 59:19Speaker 1: than anybody else, So I can understand that. Yeah. Well,
- 59:25Speaker 1: and when his mother found out about us, about us,
- 59:32Speaker 1: she told me he might be exonerated cause of some
- 59:34Speaker 1: new evidence in this case. I started having mixed feelings
- 59:37Speaker 1: about him coming home. What so you don't really want
- 59:43Speaker 1: him to come home. He Mama told me I should
- 59:46Speaker 1: really give him a chance at romance. Well, somebody gonna
- 59:50Speaker 1: give him a chance at romance. Hang on, you've been
- 59:52Speaker 1: in that seventeen years, you damn right. Hang on, Steve.
- 59:56Speaker 1: We'll have heard two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:59Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour, subject locked up and in
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Love's coming up right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject locked up and in Love. Well,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: as far as I can get to this thirty three
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: year old woman. For the past years, so I've been
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: having a romance with an inmate that's been in prison
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: for seventeen years. He's her friend's brother, and he tried
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to date me for many years, which means, you know,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: if she's thirty three, for many years somewhere from between
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: age sixteen and nine, he'd been hitting on him. Well,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: but I just wasn't interested, probably because he was in jail,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and I understand that. Well. Last year I had surgery
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: and iles out of commission for a while, and he
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: sent me the sweetest letters in card. I mean, that's cool,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: he got time, but you know, I appreciate the brother
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: doing that anyway, Well, when his mother found out about it,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: she told me that he might be exonerated cause of
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: some new evidence. In this case. I don't know what
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: he did or what his sentence is, but it's some
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: new evidence. And then you say you started having mixed
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: feelings about him coming home, and his mom told you
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: that you ought to really give him a chance of romance.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: If he is releasing, well, that's the first thing gonna
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: be on his mind when he get out, some romance.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: You can believe that, so you need you need to
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: start working your mind around that. But you say, then
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you flip you having mixed rope feelings. Then you say
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: you didn't fell in love with him, And it's hard
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: for me to believe it or explain it. Now. I've
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: seen a lot of inmate shows. There's a lot of
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: women that will marry inmates. That's y'all's business if that's
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: what you want to do with your life. And you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: can't explain it, Yeah, I don't. Because he's treating you
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: better than anybody else, probably the reason why. And I
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: can't tell my family or my co workers about him,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: because you know why, because you didn't already. This is
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: what you have said. My man a demanding job. You
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: better believe he do. He got tougher his job. He
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: got to sit there and can't leave his job. He
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: ain't got no rights on his job and to pay
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: on his job. It's about is way way below the
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: poverty low. So yeah, he got a demand and ask job.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Then you say that he travels a lot. Now, he
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: ain't going nowhere. They don't travel in prison. He might
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: be able to go down the hallway. He can go
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: on another till Mike can work to his job, but
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: he ain't traveling nowhere. So that's you telling them. That's
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: why they ain't met him yet. They have noticed that
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I'm happy and now I'm smiling whenever I mentioned this
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: guy to them. You're in love with him. I'm honest
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: with him about my feelings towards his incarceration, though, and
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: he got mad when I told him that I'm shamed
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: to tell the people that are closest to me about him. Oh, oh,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: you don't wanna tell nobody about me? Dog, No, she
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: can't because she didn't lie. How she gonna tell them
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: about you? And she didn't said you had a demanding job.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: So you didn't build this relationship up wrong. You should
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: have just said from the beginning what you felt. But
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: since you didn't built up this lie, now you can't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: tell nobody the rest of it because you just said
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he got a demanding job and he traveled a lot.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: That's why y'all ain't meet him yet. That ain't the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: truth that caught. They can't meet him because they ain't
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: everybody got time to drive all the way up there, Steve, huh.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: And I don't even know if you're driving up there.
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: He could be out of state somewhere. Ain'tybody got time
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: for this antybody fitting meet him? Now? I ain't got
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the real nothing here. I got to bring this lady
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: in now. I'm an accountant, and I didn't worked harder
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to kill top position in my company, and I don't
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: want to be jug Well, damn it, you're gonna get
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: judged because you'd have told everybody with your little line
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: asks that your man gotta demand a job, and he
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: traveled a lot. His job don't pay good the demanding parties.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: He can't ever leave his job. He traveling, know what
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: you doing all the traveling? And there's also the possibility
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: that he won't be released. This sounding crazier in this letter,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: So why don't you wait until he gets released to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: share everybody with your man? But then you're gonna have
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: to explain to him why all of a sudden, Now
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: he did every day. Now he didn't went from me,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He stayed gone, demanding justice at the house, and he
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: ain't working. So I just put it out there that
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'm dating a man in prison. I don't think you should.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't give a damn about him being mad. That
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: he can support you with him letters in cards, but
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: you gotta wait till you get sick again. He can't
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: send you none of this money because he needs money
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: on his books. You've been doing that, let's admit it. Now.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Should you put it out there as you're dating a
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: man in prison? No, because you gonna sound crazy because
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you have already told him that he has a demanding
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: job and he travels a lot, and that's why y'all
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: ain't met him. Then you're gonna double back and say
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: he an inmate. Lady, don't mess your job up down there.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: This is crazy. Now. I ain't saying you want to
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: break up with him and leave me alone. I don't
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: think he should You want to love the man. He
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: probably a good man. It's a good people in prison
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: that made a lot of mistakes. So love you man
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: like you love me. You go down. They're married a
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: man if you want to. But you ain't got to
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: share all this information? Or should I just end it
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: with him? No, you ain't got to end it with him.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: You know you're a good dude. Damn sure. Ain't got
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: to tell everybody because you just told me that sound crazy? Yes,

- 1:16:03Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. In today's entertainment news,
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Hallie Barry is receiving so many praises right now, not
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: just for starting in the number one movie over the weekend,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: John Wick three, but check this out. Okay. She refused
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: to skip two interviews with a pair of black journalists
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: on the red carpet. Okay, I love the story. Emerald Marie,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: the reporter from Where Is the Buzz TV, was one
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: of just two black journalists who were sent to the
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: premiere of John Wick Chapter three Parabellum. Hallie's publicists quickly
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: cut off her interviews because you know, they go down
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the line and usually the black journalists are at the end,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: so right before they get to them, then they say, oh,
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: you know, she has to go, she has to go,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: she has to go. They do that a lot anyway.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Instead of walking away, halle Berry made the decision to
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: turn around and speak with Emerald and the other black
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: Mail journalists Lamar Dawson. I love that we have their name,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: Hallie said, I can't skip my brother and sister. That's
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: really good. Go Hallie. A lot of times what they
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: do is they just pick you and they pick the
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: big ones. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know you're gonna talk
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: to E, You're gonna talk to CNN. You know you're
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: gonna talk to the big ones right right right, And
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: they do that to try to keep it moving along.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: I think what she did is outstanding, outstanding because it's
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: the only way that they get a chance to come up.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: So bravo to Hallie Berry for doing that. That's that's really,
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: that's that speaks volume. Yep, I can't skip my brother
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: and sister, said Hallie Berry. Oftentimes, like we're talking about now,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Steve Black, reporters on the red carpet are placed at
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: the end usually and sometimes they don't get those big
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: celebrity interviews because right before they get to them, they
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: race them off. You know, we gotta go. Sorry, our
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: time is up, we gotta go. So Hallie made sure
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: that that was not the case this time. We love you,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: Halle Berry, thank you for doing that. And other entertainment
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: news North Saint Chicago, and now Kim and Kanye have
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: named their new baby boy psalm. I hope you go
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: to school with some jokes because something will happen when yeah,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: you're you ain't got a whole. But I think I'm
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: wrote some bad ones. We all have wrote some bad ones.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: It was just a pun, but it wasn't It wasn't
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: a joke, but I really held it in. I'm pounding
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: as a joke, and I was, but I was thinking
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: more than Chicago. You think more than you know. But anyway, yeah,
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: whatever they named their kids, I'm cool with you. Their
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: kids on family feud name Jesus. And when I got
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: out there, I said, so your name is hay Sus.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: He said, no, mister Harvest, actually Jesus. I said, well,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I'm not gonna call you. I just want to just
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: let you know that. Wow, I'm man, Jay, what's up? Okay, Yeah,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: but you're not fit to be Jesus who I've been
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: talking to all these years. Coming up, our last break
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from Steve Harvey
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: at forty nine after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: listening to show last break of the day. We've had
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: a great morning today, Yes, yes we did. We have
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: fun today, Steve. It's time for you now to take
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: us home with your closing remarks. What you got for
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: us today, Steve, Well, this is going to be shortened
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: to the point. I think I just want to remind
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: everybody something that your dreams can come true if you're
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: willing to fight for him. You have to fight for
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: your dreams. You have to fight for the life of
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: your dreams. You have to fight to be free. You
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: have to fight to be an entrepreneur. You have to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: fight to be successful. You have to fight. Then, they says,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: when you say I'm gonna leave my job, you have
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: to fight the nay says when you say I want
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: a better job, you have to fight some forces out there.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: When you go, you know what, I'm gonna leave here
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: to pursue a better position at another company, You're gonna
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: have to fight for it. Change requires a fight. It
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: just does. It just does. I don't know why it is, man,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: but there's people always in our lives somewhere who are
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: going to fight us on decisions that we make about ourselves.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I don't know why it is, but it seems to
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: happen for everybody. All of us have to fight to
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: get through to the other side. You have to fight
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: through the wall of fear. You have to fight through doubt.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: You have to fight through confusion. You got to fight
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: through the nay says. You got to fight through haters.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: You gotta fight through the fact that it didn't go
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: your way. You have to fight through the fact that
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you got up and you just wasn't feeling yourself today.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: You gotta find a way to fight through. You gotta
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: find something in you that makes you keep fighting even
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: when you don't. There's a poem that stands at a
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: poem that says, if you can force your heart, your nerve,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and your s new to serve its turn long after
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: it has gone, when there is nothing left within you
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: except the will to say to them, hold on, you
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: have to fight like that. Not the funny thing about
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: that line and that poem, I think that's uh if
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: if and I stand the Stanza says, if you can
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: force your heart, your nerve, and sanu, sanu is the
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: fibers that holds all your insides together. They call that sanu,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: those tenders or whatever it is. That that's stuff that
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: there's lines and chords and fibers that hold your heart
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: and organs and all that stuff in place. If you
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: can force your heart, nerve and sanu to serve your
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: turn long after it has gone, when there's nothing left
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: within you, accept the will to say to them hold on.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: That's how you got to fight. That's how you got
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: to fight. And it's all right, but make it a
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: good fight. Don't lay down, don't let nobody punk you
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: out your dreams, don't let nobody trick you out of
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: what God has for you. Don't let the fact that
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: you got to fight stop you from fighting. Life is
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: a fight, man, It's a dog fight out here. They're
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: not walking money up to your house. I'm sorry, they're
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: not passing out you. They don't send free money to
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: nobody's house. Got to do something to get it. And
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: if you really want to get it, you are involved
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: in a fight. Like it or not, that is what
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: we are in. We are in a fight, So get
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: with it. Stop punking out. It ain't time for that.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: You're in a fight. We are in a fight. Let's go.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: That's what it is every day. And if you think
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: it's not, keep sitting up in here lighting letting life
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: slap you upside your head, because that's exactly what it's
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: gonna do. You're in a fight, folks. You're in a

- 1:24:43Speaker 1: all the people who lie about me falsely, all the
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: people try to bring me down for self gain. Yeah,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I'm not over here by myself. I am protected by
