- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all bat
- 0:09Speaker 1: all suit on the don giving them more like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milking bu bu things and it's cubbing me. True good
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve listening to movie together for STU. Please Mommy, I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join join me, be doing me. Honey. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you, you gotta turn the turnout. You got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out to turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby dad. Uh huh, I'm sure will.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one it all. It's Steve Harvey. Man
- 2:09Speaker 1: oh man, got a radio show, yo. Trying to make
- 2:13Speaker 1: it work too. I'm not trying. I'm I'm getting it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm getting it done to the best of my abilities. Now.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Something funny my father taught me. He said, son, when
- 2:26Speaker 1: you've done all you can do, if you've done your
- 2:29Speaker 1: absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
- 2:34Speaker 1: the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
- 2:42Speaker 1: That used to bug me, man, when my father used
- 2:44Speaker 1: to tell me, that's the son, When you've done your
- 2:46Speaker 1: absolute best and you think you can't do no more,
- 2:51Speaker 1: You've done all you can and it still don't get
- 2:54Speaker 1: the job done. Take yourself a deep breath and do
- 3:00Speaker 1: some more. And you know what I found that has
- 3:04Speaker 1: worked every single time, every single time, because what my
- 3:11Speaker 1: father knew was that what you think is your breaking
- 3:17Speaker 1: point or what you think is your all at all,
- 3:20Speaker 1: he says, son, it's just something about it. Man. If
- 3:24Speaker 1: you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:34Speaker 1: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And you know it. Everybody does have some more. You know.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I tell that to my sons all the time, that
- 3:45Speaker 1: I did my best. Well, let manage you something else.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:51Speaker 1: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 1: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 1: well then okay, that's what you should have done. Then See,
- 4:03Speaker 1: that's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 1: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:12Speaker 1: very sad statement for you right now. You're never gonna
- 4:18Speaker 1: get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top,
- 4:21Speaker 1: not to the top you can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you can get a third of the way up, you
- 4:27Speaker 1: can get three quarters of the way up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 1: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:33Speaker 1: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:37Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the drive and the gut wrenching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 1: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's just the top. There ain't but one top, then
- 4:54Speaker 1: the middle. Done it, ain't it? You know, the top,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the top of the mountain. Halfway it's a different view
- 5:01Speaker 1: at the top. Things look different from up top. So
- 5:04Speaker 1: if you want to get to the top of whatever
- 5:08Speaker 1: your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is, you
- 5:14Speaker 1: got to do extra. You have to do more. More
- 5:19Speaker 1: is expected of you. More. But here's what's really crazy.
- 5:22Speaker 1: More is required of you. Don't live your life in
- 5:27Speaker 1: the lackadaisical state. Don't wake up every day with the
- 5:31Speaker 1: feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens, nah, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: have us say so in your life. You First of all,
- 5:39Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Who has God named the
- 5:44Speaker 1: person that God has given authority over you named the
- 5:49Speaker 1: person but who is the person? Nobody has domain over you.
- 5:54Speaker 1: God didn't create that person. So what you're sitting here for? Man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: what are you sitting here for? Letting people who do
- 6:02Speaker 1: not know direct your path? Why are you worried about
- 6:07Speaker 1: all these people with what they got to say about
- 6:09Speaker 1: you and all these people with what they got to
- 6:12Speaker 1: think about you? When here's the news flash, they don't
- 6:15Speaker 1: know either. All these people that you overly concerned about,
- 6:21Speaker 1: all these people that you go into these answers for,
- 6:25Speaker 1: they need answers to stop. What are you doing here?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Gather yourself for a minute. Here is a solution to
- 6:34Speaker 1: all of that. You have one source that will be
- 6:39Speaker 1: there for you to the end of time, and that
- 6:42Speaker 1: is your relationship with God. That is the one thing
- 6:46Speaker 1: that's solid and for show. He's behind the wall. He's
- 6:50Speaker 1: in your jail cell. He rides with you in the
- 6:53Speaker 1: police car. He's with you on your job up at school.
- 6:56Speaker 1: He's down there in the board meetings with you. He
- 6:59Speaker 1: goes with you when you travel on planes. He sits
- 7:02Speaker 1: with you when you're in a relationship. He helps you
- 7:05Speaker 1: with your parenting skills. He helps you. He's there to
- 7:09Speaker 1: assist you. He shows if you do the right things,
- 7:11Speaker 1: he show you and guide you to your next job.
- 7:14Speaker 1: When you lose your job and you think it's a
- 7:16Speaker 1: rap ah, there's some good behind him. Man, God is
- 7:20Speaker 1: always working on your behalf. To those that believe you,
- 7:23Speaker 1: just gotta believe. He won't ask you for nothing else.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Believe in me. That's all He asks you to do.
- 7:29Speaker 1: What you're tripping for. Man. And then when you make
- 7:31Speaker 1: the decision to believe in him, and it comes out
- 7:35Speaker 1: your mouth from time to time somewhere what you're worried about,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what people say, What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:41Speaker 1: Why who are they? They need God to you? You're
- 7:44Speaker 1: telling them you found something new that you're gonna give
- 7:47Speaker 1: this a shot right here now. They got some yang
- 7:50Speaker 1: ying yang and some yakety yact to say about that
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they need God too. That's what amazes me mad
- 7:56Speaker 1: about people sit up in here, man, be knocking your
- 7:59Speaker 1: dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man, do
- 8:01Speaker 1: your thing, do your thing. But you can't create no laws.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Why I can't do mine? Don't make no sense. Man,
- 8:08Speaker 1: That makes no sense at all to me. You have
- 8:12Speaker 1: the right to go be whatever you want to be.
- 8:15Speaker 1: You know if you don't, you don't like the fact
- 8:17Speaker 1: that I'm in school. You got my head biled down
- 8:19Speaker 1: and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Just don't buy your head. Don't you pray? But if
- 8:25Speaker 1: some kids want to get to go that that's some
- 8:27Speaker 1: crazy mass. That's what happened in our schools. We took
- 8:29Speaker 1: prayer out of schools. And now look at our schools.
- 8:33Speaker 1: You send your child to school and and someone else
- 8:36Speaker 1: comes back home. That's a whole other thing right here.
- 8:40Speaker 1: That's not what I want to talk to you about.
- 8:43Speaker 1: But I was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 8:46Speaker 1: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 8:49Speaker 1: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 8:52Speaker 1: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 8:59Speaker 1: the person that made you to find out what he
- 9:01Speaker 1: created you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who
- 9:05Speaker 1: made your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 1: why you got made? That? Don't that don't make sense
- 9:17Speaker 1: to you? If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a
- 9:20Speaker 1: situation you're sitting in the jail cell somewhere you locked up.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You're doing some time, man, be a good time for
- 9:27Speaker 1: you to reflect. But whatever your situation is, Man, God
- 9:31Speaker 1: can get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 1: the courage to wherewithal, the understanding everything you need, the
- 9:37Speaker 1: wisdom to get you through anything you're going through. You
- 9:40Speaker 1: just got a touch base with him. I need God
- 9:45Speaker 1: every single day of my life. And what he's done
- 9:49Speaker 1: for me man off the chain. But guess what he'll
- 9:55Speaker 1: do the same thing for you. You're listening tow ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen. It is time. It's at that time right now.
- 10:09Speaker 1: As my father would say, right now. If you don't

- 46:33Speaker 1: the other chore members. I never heard anything from them,
- 46:37Speaker 1: all of the chore members. We probably have about ninety
- 46:39Speaker 1: five percent of the choire members coming out. Yeah, I'm
- 46:43Speaker 1: free on Saturday. Okay, Now we're doing from five to
- 46:46Speaker 1: seven on Saturday. So are you available five pm to

- 46:57Speaker 1: they called me Ba. I'm sorry. Okay, did I meet
- 47:00Speaker 1: you at the church? Uh? Well, I just joined about
- 47:04Speaker 1: three weeks ago and they've already given me an assignment.
- 47:08Speaker 1: So I made you in marketing in school. So they're
- 47:11Speaker 1: trying to get me to take care of the children
- 47:13Speaker 1: and their vacation that's coming up. We put together some things,
- 47:16Speaker 1: a great fundraiser, and you know, the choir members have
- 47:19Speaker 1: been very receptive. You're the last one for me to call,
- 47:22Speaker 1: and I wanted to make sure you are board with us. Okay, yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I just never heard about this, So right right now,
- 47:28Speaker 1: are you able to bring your choir robe on on Saturday? Yeah?
- 47:33Speaker 1: We sing were singing a song? What song? Did you
- 47:36Speaker 1: need us to to sing? Did you tell the path
- 47:39Speaker 1: about this? No? No, no, you guys are not actually
- 47:41Speaker 1: going to be singing a song. Uh. What it is
- 47:44Speaker 1: is that we're having a Uh. And I'm glad. I'm
- 47:48Speaker 1: so glad that you're you're you're you're ready to participate
- 47:50Speaker 1: in what we're doing. So I want to first of all,
- 47:52Speaker 1: say thank you first and foremost, I want to say
- 47:54Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, all right, all right and all of
- 47:58Speaker 1: the CIS members. I'm what is that we need the
- 48:01Speaker 1: robes for? I can bring my robe about just the robe.
- 48:04Speaker 1: What's gonna happen is you guys aren't singing a song,
- 48:06Speaker 1: but we're having a wet robe uh contest? So what
- 48:11Speaker 1: now a wet robe contest? You're talking about like a
- 48:15Speaker 1: wet T shirt contest type of thing. Well, it's not
- 48:19Speaker 1: a T shirt, it's a robe. So you don't have
- 48:21Speaker 1: a T shirt on? What what we need you to
- 48:24Speaker 1: do with? No? No, no, no, no, no, no, not
- 48:26Speaker 1: in the church. You're talking about the uh a wet
- 48:32Speaker 1: robe contest. You said a wet robes contest. I heard
- 48:36Speaker 1: of a wet T shirt contest. That's not that's not
- 48:39Speaker 1: the same thing, though, rack Well, no, it's a little
- 48:42Speaker 1: bit different. What it is. You don't have a T
- 48:43Speaker 1: shirt on. You actually have your your your choir robe
- 48:47Speaker 1: on and you don't have anything or underneath it. You
- 48:50Speaker 1: don't wear any clothes undeath. And what we do is,
- 48:53Speaker 1: all of ladies, listen to me. We're gonna let wet
- 48:56Speaker 1: all of the ladies down, and the sexiest warm that's
- 49:01Speaker 1: with their role is gonna win five hundred dollars and
- 49:06Speaker 1: half for the money is gonna go to the children's vacation. Hello,
- 49:11Speaker 1: you're talking about a wet t shirt contest in the church. No,
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm talking about a wet road contest at the church.
- 49:18Speaker 1: Oh No, I'm not there getting there and and and
- 49:21Speaker 1: be naked under it's gonna be it's gonna be out.
- 49:23Speaker 1: It's gonna be out road. We need you to be
- 49:26Speaker 1: completely naked unto your road, and I'm gonna win everybody
- 49:29Speaker 1: down with the water holes and the finest one is
- 49:32Speaker 1: going to be able to uh to win five hundred
- 49:36Speaker 1: dollars and two hundred and fifty of that half of
- 49:38Speaker 1: that money is gonna go to the children's They came,
- 49:40Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, what are you say? Your name was? Again?
- 49:43Speaker 1: My name? My name is Brian Anthony. Right, how long
- 49:46Speaker 1: you've been a member of this church? Because I don't
- 49:48Speaker 1: ever remember me? Okay, I've been a member for about
- 49:53Speaker 1: three weeks now, Like I said, since I was a
- 49:55Speaker 1: majored in marketing. They actually threw me into no way
- 49:59Speaker 1: after three weeks that they're gonna put you in charge
- 50:01Speaker 1: of something. I don't understand. One another problem with you
- 50:04Speaker 1: trying to help I don't even gave me. They're trying
- 50:10Speaker 1: to create that, and you don't want to help the kids.
- 50:14Speaker 1: I want to help the kids, but I'm not gonna
- 50:16Speaker 1: get up there in no choir road. I'm doing my
- 50:18Speaker 1: best right now not to cuss you out because I'm
- 50:21Speaker 1: a woman of God. So you're too good to be
- 50:23Speaker 1: naked under your role? Is that what you're saying? You're
- 50:25Speaker 1: too Look, I don't have to explain myself, but I'm
- 50:29Speaker 1: not gonna be naked up to no church. Okay, So
- 50:31Speaker 1: so you can't do the naked road call God. You
- 50:35Speaker 1: can't do that for the kids. I know you're not
- 50:37Speaker 1: about to tell me what I can and cannot do
- 50:39Speaker 1: for no kids. Now. I don't know who gave me
- 50:41Speaker 1: my number, but I think you need to figure out
- 50:43Speaker 1: who else to call for this, because I'm not gonna
- 50:44Speaker 1: be a part of this. We called all the other
- 50:46Speaker 1: choir members and they don't have a problem with it.
- 50:49Speaker 1: You y'all call all the fire members? What are they names?
- 50:53Speaker 1: What other choire members? Did you call? That? What we
- 50:57Speaker 1: called we called Sister Bridget in the choir. Sister Bridget
- 51:00Speaker 1: didn't have a problem with it. Ain't no Sister Bridge
- 51:03Speaker 1: in the choir. Okay, how about Sister Rachel. Sister Rachel
- 51:07Speaker 1: in the choir was fine with it. Ain't no Sister Rachel.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Sister Rachel wouldn't be getting naked. Okay, okay, okay, let
- 51:13Speaker 1: me ask you to something. Let you know, but I
- 51:18Speaker 1: didn't do you know sister Devita in the choir. Guess
- 51:22Speaker 1: I know Sister Divita. Okay. So so if Sister Divita
- 51:26Speaker 1: said that Sister Bridge and and Sister Rachel didn't have
- 51:30Speaker 1: a problem doing it, why do you have a problem
- 51:34Speaker 1: doing it. I'm not about to be naked in a church.
- 51:37Speaker 1: But kid, you're not getting naked in the church. You're
- 51:40Speaker 1: gonna be in the back part of the church, and
- 51:42Speaker 1: we're gonna spray you down with a water holes on
- 51:44Speaker 1: your road. That's what We're not gonna be up there.
- 51:47Speaker 1: This is disgusting what Tommy said you would do it.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Tommy said you didn't have no problem doing it. Who
- 51:52Speaker 1: the hell it's Tommy. We don't even have a Tommy
- 51:55Speaker 1: at the church. You keep making up all these maids
- 51:57Speaker 1: Tommy is nephew tom from the Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 52:01Speaker 1: That's who Tommy you is? Hello, Yes, this is Tommy, Baby,
- 52:09Speaker 1: this is nephew Tommy. How are you sure? Oh my god,
- 52:14Speaker 1: that's not real. This is not it's not real baby,
- 52:17Speaker 1: that nobody was calling you about doing a wet rope?
- 52:20Speaker 1: You are you? I was gonna go out on you.
- 52:23Speaker 1: You were already going off on me. The Vida got
- 52:27Speaker 1: me the prank phone call you. Oh my god, I'm
- 52:30Speaker 1: gonna get I was holding my time what you're saying?
- 52:35Speaker 1: You was about to come. I was about to cut
- 52:37Speaker 1: you out right out. Whoa, I'm gonna get the Vida
- 52:42Speaker 1: de Vida got jokes. I'm gonna get Devita can't even
- 52:45Speaker 1: saying she up there and a chore telling you to
- 52:47Speaker 1: prank call me, So Devita can't saying I'm gonna get
- 52:52Speaker 1: her back. Oh but hey, maybe I gotta ask you.
- 52:54Speaker 1: You gotta tell me what's the baddest and I mean
- 52:56Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the lane? Steve? All right,
- 53:04Speaker 1: thank you, nephew. Coming up next the Strawberry Letters subject.
- 53:07Speaker 1: I need to help this poor child. We'll get into
- 53:10Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to Morning show all
- 53:15Speaker 1: right time now for today's Strawberry Letter and listen. If
- 53:18Speaker 1: you need advice on relationships, on dating, work, sex, parenting,
- 53:23Speaker 1: and more, please submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey
- 53:26Speaker 1: f M and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be
- 53:29Speaker 1: reading your letter live on the air, just like we're
- 53:31Speaker 1: gonna read this one right here today. Okay, Strawberry letter,
- 53:36Speaker 1: that's what we have right now. Buckle up and hold
- 53:39Speaker 1: on tech. We gotta pull you here. It is a
- 53:41Speaker 1: Strawberry Lettah Morgan, all right, subject, I need to help
- 53:46Speaker 1: this poor child here. Stephen Shirley. Thirteen years ago, I
- 53:50Speaker 1: became friends with a newly married young couple at church.
- 53:54Speaker 1: They have two children, and they are good, god fearing
- 53:56Speaker 1: people with large heart. The only problem is that they
- 54:00Speaker 1: are not BookSmart and the wife is lacking in the
- 54:03Speaker 1: common sense department. Two. They both speak terribly and their
- 54:07Speaker 1: subject and verb agreement is always off. Their spelling is
- 54:11Speaker 1: even worse. I hate to admit it, but when I
- 54:13Speaker 1: first met this couple, my first impression was that they
- 54:17Speaker 1: both had learning disabilities when they were younger, and that's
- 54:20Speaker 1: how they met. After knowing them a while, I know
- 54:24Speaker 1: that's not true. The husband never graduated from high school
- 54:28Speaker 1: and the wife just recently got her ged. We are
- 54:31Speaker 1: all in a church group and we discussed family stuff.
- 54:36Speaker 1: So since it's back to school time, we were all
- 54:38Speaker 1: happy to see our children going back to the classroom,
- 54:42Speaker 1: all of us except this one couple. They announced to
- 54:46Speaker 1: the group that they planned to homeschool. They're eight year
- 54:49Speaker 1: old this semester. Everyone in the group started looking around
- 54:52Speaker 1: and we were all quiet. We left the church meeting,
- 54:55Speaker 1: and before I could get in my house good, I
- 54:57Speaker 1: had three messages from people in our group telling me
- 55:00Speaker 1: I had to stop them or their child would be
- 55:03Speaker 1: ruined for life. Since I'm the closest one to them,
- 55:06Speaker 1: they suggest it, I tell them. How can I tell
- 55:09Speaker 1: my friend that homeschooling her child may turn her child
- 55:13Speaker 1: into a little dummy? Maybe I can talk to a
- 55:15Speaker 1: counselor down at the school where the child is supposed
- 55:18Speaker 1: to be enrolled. Or should I mind my own business?
- 55:21Speaker 1: Mind my business and just pray that this turns out
- 55:24Speaker 1: better than we expect it to. I feel like I
- 55:27Speaker 1: owe it to the child to speak up thoughts. Okay,
- 55:32Speaker 1: now you know you can't tell these people how to
- 55:34Speaker 1: raise and educate their children. You know you can't do that,
- 55:38Speaker 1: that would cause major problems. You can only suggest to them.
- 55:42Speaker 1: You can only just try to help them in some way.
- 55:46Speaker 1: You say they speak terribly, they don't have much common
- 55:49Speaker 1: sense or book sense. You say they're good, god fearing
- 55:52Speaker 1: people with large hearts. You said that in your letters.
- 55:54Speaker 1: So hopefully these good god fearing people with large hearts,
- 55:58Speaker 1: they will welcome your advice, in your suggestions. But you
- 56:03Speaker 1: can't go in there, you know, trying to take over
- 56:05Speaker 1: and oversteps. These are their children, not yours. Talking to
- 56:09Speaker 1: the school counselor telling the mom that the homeschooling will
- 56:13Speaker 1: turn her child into a little dummy, that's very unacceptable,
- 56:16Speaker 1: that's out of line. Okay, as a friend, just try
- 56:19Speaker 1: to help her, maybe set up her homeschool procedure, you know,
- 56:23Speaker 1: the processes, the things you have to go through to
- 56:25Speaker 1: do that. You can contribute and help the kids read
- 56:29Speaker 1: and things like that. I think the fact that the
- 56:33Speaker 1: mom just recently got her ged, I think that that
- 56:36Speaker 1: means that she's trying to do better, and she wants
- 56:39Speaker 1: to do better, and she wants to do better for
- 56:41Speaker 1: her kids. So support her, encourage her, be a friend
- 56:46Speaker 1: to her, but don't take over. Get in there and
- 56:48Speaker 1: you know, yeah, you should mind your own business, get
- 56:51Speaker 1: all up in their business. She could end up resenting
- 56:54Speaker 1: you and this couldn't This wouldn't be good, Steve, I disagree.
- 57:00Speaker 1: So damn what, somebody got to say. These babies, somebody
- 57:08Speaker 1: need to stop this for it happened too ignorant ass.
- 57:11Speaker 1: People can't home school a baby. You just said, she
- 57:16Speaker 1: just recently got her damn ged and the husband just
- 57:20Speaker 1: got hit. They fought it. Now you're sitting up in
- 57:25Speaker 1: here and you're sending up here schality. See that's your problem.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Should you just you're a Christian and y'all way wanting indeed,
- 57:32Speaker 1: it ain't thing, and don't stay in it. Somebody got
- 57:34Speaker 1: to get in here. Last thing we need is two
- 57:39Speaker 1: more of them. We got to get involved him. You
- 57:46Speaker 1: got to say, these kids, this is not no time
- 57:51Speaker 1: to be Christian. We ain't got time for that Christian.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Listen to me them dog on kids. You don't know nothing.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You just said that talk ignorant at the church group.
- 58:05Speaker 1: You just said they ain't got good sense. Now they
- 58:08Speaker 1: fit to home school some kids. And you're sitting up
- 58:11Speaker 1: in here. You're scared they're gonna send the kids off
- 58:14Speaker 1: to schooling and now you're gonna they're gonna home school
- 58:17Speaker 1: them and turn them into little dummies. I can promise
- 58:19Speaker 1: you it's already too late. Them kids is already a
- 58:27Speaker 1: product of them two parents. If we don't get them
- 58:31Speaker 1: babies in school, we're gonna have two more them. Your
- 58:36Speaker 1: church is fitting to be a congregation full of little dummies,
- 58:43Speaker 1: all of them sitting over that don't know nothing. You're
- 58:48Speaker 1: sitting up in here complaining about this lady on the
- 58:52Speaker 1: thing you know. I'll tell you what you better do.
- 58:56Speaker 1: You better have some little ninjas dropping in at that
- 58:59Speaker 1: home school educ kings when the plans send them the
- 59:01Speaker 1: recess or something. That's your only he said, Ninja's yeah
- 59:11Speaker 1: said up here you saying in your letter that the
- 59:12Speaker 1: only problem is that they're not book small and the
- 59:15Speaker 1: wife is lacking in comments, and damn so you don't
- 59:19Speaker 1: know nothing in books all life? What they can't tell you?
- 59:24Speaker 1: Two kids? They both speak terribly, and they subject and
- 59:29Speaker 1: verb agreement is always all hold on, Steve, hold on,
- 59:34Speaker 1: we'll have part two of your response about this. Subject
- 59:37Speaker 1: in verb agreement is always all well, if part two
- 59:41Speaker 1: if Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hours,
- 59:44Speaker 1: subject I need to help this poor child. We'll be
- 59:47Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve. Let's
- 59:53Speaker 1: recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject, I need to help this
- 59:56Speaker 1: poor child. Got these newly ward people say church and
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: their god feeling and large hearts, And the only problem
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: is they not book smart and wife is lacking in
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: common sense department too. Both of them speak terribly and
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: their subject and verb agreement is always off. Everybody happen
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: because kids going back to school. Everybody in the little
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: church group celebrating sept These two. They didn't told y'all
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: they fit the home school. They two kids. Everybody in
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: the group got quiet because they're trying to figure out
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: haisy too ignorant to ask people go home school, these
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: two little poe ass kids. That's what this letter is about.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: But let me focus on the line here and sure,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna need your help right here, because I'm gonna
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: prove to you why these parents need to send their
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: children to school. Okay, Shirley, Yeah, Because the lady says
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: they both speak terribly and their subject and verb agreement
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: is always off. What that means is the subject and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: the verb that they use in the same sentence never apply.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: So now, surely you don't know what they're talking about,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: but I do. So what I want you to do, Shirley,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: so I can prove my point. I need to get
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: these kids ass up at school. I'm gonna be the
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: child of these little ignorant ass pairs. Now, I want

- 1:05:10Speaker 1: mom and my daddy told me school ain't that important.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I don't think they said that, did they. My mama
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: just got her ged and her cousin took the test
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: for her. See I looked at that positively, or her cousin.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Her cousin took the test for her. All right, Steve,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you've proved You've proved your point That's why you got

- 1:06:03Speaker 1: his comedy segment called when did He'll explain right after this.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: You're listening to all right, so Junior is here today
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: with this is a comedy segment. You called Junior when dead?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: What's that about? When did you know? We've been seeing
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: a lot of things that have been happening, but you
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: just don't know when it started. Like, for example, when
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: did kids get lucky? You ever go to that and
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: see this little page in front of you, When all
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: my drawls was in the same luggage, when my grandmother
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: all my draws up against to Brazil? When did kids
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: getting lucky? I don't know when it started? Matter fact,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: when did people start wearing house shoes everywhere I had church?
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Somebody stepped out the house shoes to get to the altar.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: And now when you leave your shoes out here in
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: church like that? When when did it happen? Like when
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: did vegans get so outspoken? What do you mean you
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: ain't never know who the hell wasn't vegan? That it
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: upsetting by everything you can't eat, that it had a mother.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: I don't care vegans? Is I mean? When did all
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: this stuff they speaking up? When did we just never
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: mind just wearing ripped jeans? Maymber used to get your
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: ass for your jew by the jeans told? Why am
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: I looking at the Wayne draws. Just when did that start?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: We just don't know when it happened. When people used
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: to borrow money? Now ain't cash chapping? Yeah, but dinner
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he didn't the ass Remember I cannot borrow was important? Yes,
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: they don't do that, no more, they don't do none
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: of that. When did big guys just start showing their
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: stomach with no results? You know they don't. They don't care,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: no remorse, They just the stomach just out matter of fact?
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: When did women you're start wearing their stomach hot? When
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: did all of this happened? When? When did white kids
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: get comfortable with saying the N word to black kids?
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: When did that start? When did we start knocking our kids?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: When did that stop? Ncause my nephew is sitting up
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: here making fls at school and we ain't been in
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: school a week. When did this start? Just when did
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: it happen? We just don't know. We have to figure
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: out when did that happened? That's when start thinking about it.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Stuff stuff changed? No, No, when did it happen? Wow,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I'll tell you another. Here's one that everybody knows. This something.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: We don't even know when this stought. But remember when
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: when did when the joggon suit? Member? When when it
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: meant you was going jogging? Oh yeah, knock people wearing
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: jogon sus a jogging? No, damn what you're talking about me?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: That used to mean something you got on the jogging suit.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I can assume your ass was going job na na,
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: you're asking drive rules, you're doing walking in sleeping right back.
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I'm just saying at work now, I'm in one right now?
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: All right, thank you, junior. I like that? When did
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: all right? Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: here's another question. Is your relationship so good that sometimes
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you wish you and your spouse would argue more? Wow,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: we'll talk about that right after this. You're listening too.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Is your relationship so good, guys, that sometimes you wish
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: you and your spouse would argue more? Huh? If that fall? So?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: If one argument, just one argument, could save your marriage,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: that is it. But this husband cooked, clean, swept, and
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: loved his wife passionately completely. She in turn, felt choked
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: by his affection and now wants to divorce him. The
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: woman sought divorce from her husband in a city in
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: the United Arab Emirates because his love was too much
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: for her to bear. He never yelled at me or
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: turned me down. The woman told the court, I was
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: choked by extreme love and affection. He even helped me
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: clean the house. The court ordered the adjournment of the
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: case to give the couple a chance at reconciliation. So, guys,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: here's a question for you. Do you wish you and
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: your spouse would actually argue more? Or have you ever
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: ended a relationship because there was no conflict at all?
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: It was just too much love and affection. No, please, stee.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Soon as soon as you say something to him you
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: disagree with. His answer is getting some papers? Draw? Are
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: you serious? Are you serious? Talk back too much? I'm
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: out of this relationship? Is that fast? Can be quick?
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: Getting that? Really? Jay? Yeah? He outed? I'm out? He out.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I don't know who wants an argument? But this woman,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: what's wrong with her? Exactly? She's a problem. St what
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: real love is. She's got a different view. She saw
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: somebody getting cussed out of us something I want that? Yeah,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: that's probably yeah, she said something, Yeah, I want to
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: get cussed out much love and affection. I've never heard
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: a woman saying he wants conflict? Who want that? Well,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: unless he's ultra cleanly. She did say she felt choked
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: by his love. She felt choked by it? You mean
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: she just rather just be choked? He could, He cleaned,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: he cooked, he cleaned, He loved her passionately and completely.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: This sounds like a romance, Joe. Yeah, he said he
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: never yelled at me or turned me down. Never. Ye, baby,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you need to be who are you? He never turned
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you down? Oh my god. So this is the opposite
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: of an abusive relationship. He cooking extreme, He cooking and cleaning. Girl. Please, yeah,
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: I cook. I'm not gonna clean. He swept weapot on
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: the stove in a heart beat. Wow this this, I mean,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: women say all the time they want a good man.
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: Women complain all the time. He never helps me around
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: the house. I don't think we never spend enough time together.
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: He's not a affectionate. He's not romantic. I I help
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: you pack. But Jay, Now, one time she said something,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: she's out, You're done. Well. I don't take talking back.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: I don't what is talking back? See what we're doing there?
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Her daddy, you're not her dad, her husband, you're her man?
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: Jack your daddy? Say dad, say, oh, we don't do back.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: We just do folks ain't back. I've never heard of
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: this before. But Jay, we can't disagree. We can't agree
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: talking to you talking back to me, you would have
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: been gone. But we don't like what you're saying. Jay,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: we have a right to say that. Yeah, you don't
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: like somebody's daddy. Yeah, is gonna pack you up? That's
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: all I'm yeah? Man, Wow, all right, coming up? More
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: more music, more fun, more chauvinism. Sounds like Yeah. At
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, right here on this Steve
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, you're listening to all right, guys, hate
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: to talk about this, but it's reality. The end of August,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: you know, is peak hurricane season. Um, yeah, we gotta
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: be prepared. We have a lot of listeners in Florida,

- 1:15:10Speaker 1: station for updates. Yes, you gotta listen to the local
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: city officials when they say evacuate, move, when they tell
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: you to leave. There's no hurricane. Is that they don't
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: surprise you. That's not a tornado, it's not an earthquake.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: You know they're coming. You need to listen to the
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: officials and evacuate and be safe. Yeah, if you can
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: afford it, get a generator I'm talking about They got

- 1:19:15Speaker 1: minutes after you're listening to. All right, Steve, here we
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: are on this Friday, yes Labor Day weekend, baby, it was.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: It's been a good day, looking forward to an even
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: greater weekend. Steve, what do you have for closing remarks?
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: I want to you know, yesterday I was encouraging people
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: about accomplishing goals and dreams and uh, setting out to all,
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: you know, just just be greater in your life. Well,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: today I want you to understand something about your journey
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: in life. Your journey in life is uniquely your. No
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: two lives are the exact same, No two paths are
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: the exact same. God puts all of us on special
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: paths that were uniquely designed and orchestrated for you. Everybody
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: don't travel the same road. You may see the same
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: things on the road, but the road ain't gonna be
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: the same. The curves in your life is going to
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: be very different from the curves in mind. You will
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: be challenged in a unique way, just like I'll be
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: challenging a unique way, just like so it is with
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: everyone else. And in these challenges and in this path
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: that you're on, you should celebrate your life, man, and
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: show God some gratitude for this route you're taking. Now,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: let me tell you something. The route you're taking, it
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: ain't all ways comfortable. As a matter of fact, a
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: lot of the time it's going to be uncomfortable. You
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: will have short bursts of smooth sailing and easy going,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: but guess what a twisting turn is coming on your path,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: on your very unique road. Something's going to happen along
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: the way. But rejoice in the fact that you're past
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: all the things you've gone through, You've gotten through them,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: that your track record for surviving bad days is still
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: one hundred. In spite of everything you've gone through and
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: all the losses and challenges it and setbacks and everything,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: your life is still still very very much under control
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: because you have managed to survive it all. You have
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: survived it all, all of it. You survived every single
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: bad moment, every twist, every turn, every redirected moment, every
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: time you felt like, man, you just didn't see no
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: way out. Think about it for a minute, y'all. All
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the times you thought you didn't see no way out,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: didn't you come out? How About all the times you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: couldn't see no light at the end of the tunnel,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: didn't you finally get to the other side of the tunnel.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: How About all the days you thought it's so dark
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: in hell, Man, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: But morning came, It came for you, and it wasn't
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: dark no more. Think about that, man, Think about all
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: the things God has bought you through, and rejoice in
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: the fact that He gonna get you through this one too.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: This unique path that you own, this route that you've
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: been placed on, these things that's occurring in your life. Man,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: you're uniquely designed. You are a very very special creation
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: to him. Your fingerprint, of all the billions of people
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: in this world, your fingerprint is uniquely yours. That's amazing, man,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: that he has the ability to do that. Only God
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: can do a thing like that. So on this path
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: you're having, with this twisting turns there as a stands
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: in a poem called Don't Quit, where it says life
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: is strange with this twisting turns, as every one of
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: us must sometimes learn. And many a fellow has turned
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: about when he might have won had he stuck it out.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow, you
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: may succeed with another blow and off, and the goal
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: is nearer than it seems to a faint and a
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: faltering man. And often the struggler has given up when
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: he might have captured the victor's cup, and he learns
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: too late, when the night came down, how close he
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: was to the golden crown. See, life is failure turned
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: inside out. It's the silver tint of your clouds of doubt,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: and you never can tell how close you are. It
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: may be nil when it seems afar. So stick to
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: the fight when your heart is hit. It's when things
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: seem worse that you mustn't quit. Don't ever give up
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: this path your own is uniquely yours. God got you,
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: He's always had you, He's always brought you through You've
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: always survived it. You're gonna survive another one. Don't let
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: the devil rob you of your destiny. Don't let him
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: fool you, don't let him change your mind. Remember, as
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: long as you turn to God, he's already facing you.
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: God never leaves us. We walk away from him, but
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: God never leaves us. We're never alone. We have a friend,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: we have a companion, we have a guide, we have
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: a constant source of help. You just have to hold
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: on to that. This path you on it can be
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: difficult sometimes, but it's yours and you're gonna be fine
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: with it. And if you talk to God on a
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: daily basis handing your waries and your woes, life get
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: a lot smooth for you. It don't. It don't get easier,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: you just get better at handling it. Those are my
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: closing remarks to d Drops the mike. Have a great weekend,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: and that's Rindie him. Have a great weekend. We love you, baby.
