  I'm thinking today of Psalms 142 verse 5. Psalms 142 verse 5. It says,

  I cried out to you, O Lord. I said, you are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.

  God is my guardian. He watches over me and he never fails. He is what I need.

  He fulfilled my purpose, my provision, sustained me to live not just today but forever.

  So in the worst of times, I can hold on to God. I can cry out to God. I can call him refuge.

  I can call him sustainer. And he has seen me through the darkest hours of my life.

  The truth is that happened even before I was saved. I just didn't know it.

  But now, I live for him on a daily basis and he makes me able.

  I would encourage you today to trust in the Lord. Maybe you're in a really dark spot,

  a difficult place and you need to cry out and say, God, be my refuge.

  You are my portion in the land of the living. I don't want to wait until I get to heaven

  and walk with you to be near to you. I want to be near you every day.

  And God says if you'll draw near to him, he'll draw near to you.

  Perhaps you need to get involved in a local church. I encourage you to check one out
